Mr. **'s workmanship, professionalism and knowledge were excellent. His ingenuity in figuring an excellent way to install a range hood above an island range. What made it especially difficult was the slanted ceiling above the range and a wall parallel to the stove. The work was done perfectly and the cost was excellent. They also were very careful and covered the work area with a plastic covering to protect the counter. They also cleaned up and removed all the packing. We could not be happier. We will definitely hired them again.

My hubby signed with Angi Leads to do furniture repair. Soon afterwards he developed severe joint problems and has been unable to stand and work for very long. He called and cancelled with Angi Leads. IMAGINE OUR SHOCK when on July 7, 2022 ANGI LEADS TOOK $1,155.00 out of our checking account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION OR NOTIFICATION. We were told this was a penalty for cancelling the contract early. One representative told us to get a doctor’s note. We did.

Mr. ** of GOAT is a true professional. He is prompt and conscience. He has provided excellent customer service. My roof is beautiful and no longer leaks. He also noticed that my basement was leaking and fixed a drainage system that saved my foundation.

Installed 50 amp circuit Breaker, Installed generator interlock kit on circuit breaker panel, installed exterior 50 amp receptacle, provided 50 amp generator cord. After work completed showed me how to use circuit interlock. The electrical company employees were very thorough, very prompt, very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the job they were performing. I would certainly use this electrical company for any additional electrical work I may need to be completed in the future.

Testing was done in my bathroom. Glad I was able to find out there was mold in my ceiling. It was fast and easy to get the results back. They explained what the report said and they were extremely helpful with every step of the way.

We set up a service with them through their professional for a "Move Out" cleaning service which was supposed to happen on a date we scheduled well in advance. The cleaner never showed up, responded or anything. Here's the really bad part.... It's the follow up customer service from Angi. Terrible. There's no zero star review option but this service would take the honors for that rating. The service rep was nice but clearly reading from a script and offered basically no help except to try and schedule something for a different day which does not work for a "Move Out" service. We are upset, really upset. They are supposed to vet their professionals but it is clear that a consumer is better off taking a chance with an online "free" resource because Angi offers nothing if they fall short. Nothing!

Installer never showed up. Angi deducted payment automatically. I reached out and they attempted to make things right by not charging me for another installation appointment. The installer ruined the first door. He went and got a second door and destroyed the second. I now have a destroyed door hanging by one hinge and severe damage to my home door jamb. Angi said they would not make things right. They also blocked me on the site so I couldn't leave a review. Stay away from Angi.

Replaced walkway to the sidewalk and added two steps. Prompt polite service. Went above and beyond expectations. Roped off walkway until it dried. Stacked removed bricks in a neat pile. The invoice was the same as what they quoted. Paid half upfront and the rest at completion.

I am not sure what Angi's list does but I guess I will find out. I have heard people talking about it before now. I have the rather vague idea that I can go to the "list" and find a review of a business or product.

Dan provides prompt profession service. Design was exactly what we wanted. High quality work. Easy to work with and responsive to calls, emails and texts. I Would recommend his services to anyone who needs design work on their house. Professional fees were reasonable.

He definitely knew what he was doing. Made my trees look beautiful. He came on time and made sure to ask what I wanted done before he started. I've always had trouble before when communicating but it was a breeze with him.

The most unreliable service I have ever used. They penalize customers when they cancel last minute but no penalties when it’s the other way around. Great job at scheduling the reservation but zero follow-up to commit to the appointment. I originally purchased the membership but decided to cancel everything when the rescheduled appointment didn’t reply to my check-in.

We purchased a Intex pool from Walmart and paid extra for Angi to send out professional installation because they guarantee if the job is not done right they have insurance to pay for the damages, they lied, they Sent over a single person to put together a large pool, he didn't know what he was doing and after filling it the pool came apart and broke the liner and bent the frame, we are unable to return it for a refund because it was past the return date because installation date was late due to Angie busy schedule, Angie refuses to honor their guarantees as it is a total scam. They claim that they don't have proof it was the installation because they do not want to take responsibility, if I knew they were such a scam I would of just paid someone from the block! Do not use this service. Their guaranteed service is a scam and I am out $2000 because of their lies!

I used a contractor recommended by Angi, this contractor was supposed to install new sod at my house. This contractor proceeded to take my money and never return, would not return calls or emails to myself or Angi. They said we had to use an arbitration service provided by them to get a refund, they neglected to mention that the contractor also had to be willing. So then they said we had to wait for management to convene to decide about our case. As of today it's been almost two months after we paid the contractor and they informed us that they are unable to give a refund for services and we need to contact the contractor directly for a refund...As if that had not already been tried by us and Angi's. Honestly it's not even that much money $1200 roughly, but it's the medical bills of my asthmatic wife that have piled up after having a dirt patch instead of a yard. Honestly use any other site.

They will keep calling you tell you go with them 8 month 70% form their lead. It's scam, you want to cancel or talk with client success manager (Jobe **), never answer your call or email and the normal agent they can't do anything for you, when you have the account they will till you will expect to receive 30-50 leads and it's will be send for 3-5 contractor but what you find out they send it for over 50 contractor, also when you want to cancel you ask when you start they will tell you you will pay 10% when it's really happened they will change their mind %30 and it's will take month to cancel. This people big scam. Big, big scam, Jobe ** so, so much rude even if you ask her to change anything at the account without asking to cancel. This people they charge me 10K without even one job

My experience with Preferred Roofing and Restoration was very professional and would recommend to anyone needing a new roof. Or for all of your restoration needs. Thank you, Dave for another Happy Customer. I have never used Dave Before but was recommended by a family member that had used Dave, High Quality. Very professional. Despite multiple attempts to find a bathroom tile installer I was sent multiple connections to companies who did not do that type of work. For the dry wall company I was not able to even leave a review, the computer system would not allow it. I will not be using this again because Angi is to difficult to use and all the reviews are generic and "washed" of details about what job was preformed by the company.

They will promise you a lot of things but they won't keep them. I say this from my own experience. End of the day you will lose your money. Angi is smaller than what you think. Anyway if you have extra money and want to put it in trash can you are welcome to call Angi.

My cupola became dry-rotted - over the years - and blew off during a STRONG summer windstorm. Brian came over - at the allotted time, TOTALLY rebuilt the top, and SECURELY fastened it to the remaining (in good shape) structure. (That's all I asked for.)

Updated on 10/02/2022: Following up on our original complaint, the credit card company advised us that Angi is refusing to refund, even though we have written proof of cancelled services from their side, and chat transcripts showing they acknowledged not providing the service and had actually agreed to refund, although they never did the refund. We have now had to escalate the credit card complaint to stage 2, pre-arbitration step, wasting more of our time to get back our money from a company that took the money before attempting to provide any service, then cancelling the service and never providing it. Buyer beware!!!!

Very happy with company!! They were easy to deal with and showed up on time and did really exceptional work. I had landscaping work, such as tree removal, and various assorted plants and marble/rock. My entranceway looks like a new house now!! It really changes everything!!

Task Force came in very professional upfront honesty. Will hire again if I have any other pest issues. The cost was in my price range that he offer. He called and checked the status of my personal progress to he the home ready for his service.

I use Angi and like the reviews and comments. Sometimes when I forget to use Angi I realize and stop myself. It is important as it cuts down my work in half. Thank you Angi for giving consumers another place to look to hire professionals as needed. It is hard to keep up with all the things to do around a house you have lived in for over 25 years.

BEWARE! It took an enormous amount of effort to have 3 light fixtures removed and one new one put up. The first company that Angi HomeAdvisor sent out did not come prepared to finish the work and I had to hire an additional company to complete the work. For the first job Angi Homeadvisor wanted payment by credit card upfront, and would not have been an issue if the job would have been completed. Unfortunately, when I tried calling Angi Homeadvisor about the job not being done, I kept getting representatives in Asia that I could barely understand. I spent four hours one day on the phone just trying to first get another company out to finish the job. Being frustrated at this point I placed a dispute on my credit card, and asked Angi for a refund. Angi Homeadvisor did eventually send another company that could finish the job. I paid that company in full for their services that day and sent a check to the first company for the partial work that they did.

We found 3 companies to give us quotes on our landscaping job. We were looking for someone who would represent themselves well, answer questions, and have a reasonable price. We checked all the boxes with Bruce and his team at Panhandle Aquascapes.

I had a bad experience with JJ Pools of Prosper Tx, and question the recommendation of Angi. I will positively upgrade my experience with Angi (only) if they pull their JJ Pools recommendation. JJ Pools was on the Angi pool contractor list. I had always trusted Angi and Angie’s list. Bad tile work, a pool light left dangling in pool, unsat cleanup and a hole punched in a glass brick tile are in my Review. Read it in entirety under Bill L. Angi was helpful trying to get JJ out to fix their mess. I would normally be ok with that, EXCEPT JJ demanded I pay amount due (10%) BEFORE he did any work. After seeing his previous work, paying before it turned out acceptable is totally insane!! In fact during a second fix it visit, the tiler punched a whole in my glass brick. The second level Angi arbitrator totally agreed with me. I was sent a form to sign, however, saying I let both JJ Pools and Angi off the hook, no matter bad a third fix it attempt turned out.

Angi provided me with names of painting companies in my areas. I used one of the companies. Thanks to all the positive reviews on Angi site. The reviews were on target. Angi is a quick way to find reviews on companies. It helped me select a company which lived up to it reviews.

They also have awesome prices. They arrived on time and did a good job. I work a lot and don’t have a lot of time to clean my apartment but I’m happy to found this company, now my apartment keep clean and shine.

They made it much easier to find what I was looking for and to read their views. Also to get all the quotes that I needed for the job that needed to be done to picked from. The one thing I didn't like was the Angi person was more expensive. They need to look into that.

Hired a contractor Jason D. off of ANGI list to install a doggie door. He, Jason D. came the first time and cut the opening on the inside of the house but there was some electrical in the way. So he said he couldn't do that but once I got that done he would return. I got that done and he has not answered my calls, texts or emails to come and finish the job. I also tried to contact ANGI but they have no number to call and are also not responding to emails on their website. Do not use ANGI. If you have a problem you can't get ahold of them.

Chris has done many long overdue repairs that I have needed around the house since I bought it two years ago. Chris has made the entire experience of showing me what needs to be replaced. What will work good and upfront with all costs. I found it extremely helpful to go with him to a large hardware store and have him show me what he’s buying how he’s going to fix it if there’s anything I can do to assist with prep work. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, competent, honest, and hard-working.

I’ve worked with Mr. ** and I think that he has been doing a great job, he's always on time and he always makes sure that the customers are satisfied with his work and he's also a hard worker and an excellent businessman.

I was a little disappointed that no one actually called me - I had to call/contact vendors myself. Two appointments, that were automatically set up by Angi either canceled or didn't show up. Fortunately, one of the ones I did contact did show up and got the job done (for slightly more than I expected).

Was a great experience working with Breakout services. Went above and beyond what was expected. Very friendly and professional. I am planning on hiring them for more projects in the future. Great on pricing and wiring with Veterans thus was a family company working together.

I wanted to write a review for the inspection company I used back in 2013 when I bought my home, but it appears I may not have done so. It just so happens I needed to call them again yesterday for assistance on a matter that I thought was more serious. They came to my rescue on the same day and luckily the issue is not as serious as thought. If I ever move or purchase another piece of property Honor Construction and Inspection services will be the only inspection company I will ever use.

On my home icon screen I got two large One Drive Pop Ups. I called Geek Techs. Shawn at Geek Techs restarted my computer and we reset the Angi password. Everything is fixed and working fine. The Geeks are the best.

They don't even deserve one star. We are a full-service landscape company in business for 30 years. Thought we would try them. We contracted with them in January and cancelled them in June for failure to perform. Our vendor rep dropped the ball 3x first failing to respond to us for approx. 3 weeks, and then failed to give proper guidance to our office manager on how / what category to change our service offerings to from Winter to Spring so we could get the leads we wanted. We lost another 2 months of potential lawn care leads during the most opportune time of our season because the rep didn't know or understand the proper category to have us list under based on the categories they offer. We should have been under lawn maintenance, but he told our office there wasn't a category for what we wanted (Lawn Care).

That Bug Guy actually messaged us almost immediately after we placed our request. He was quick to show up and had availability. Really was able to help us feel more at home in our place now that the bugs are gone.

I haven't used Angie for a while now but the few times I have it's been a great experience. Finding the right people to do the work I need has been great every time. I will definitely use Angie in the future. It's like the yellow pages to the best options of professionals in the area.

For me to leave a long review like this, It means that I don't want anyone else to go through the frustration I did. I have used Angi leads service for my business for about a year. At first the leads service brought in for us some extra business, but it was not cheap per lead and you had to really chase down the customer in several ways, and need to be the first one to be notified on the app and to get them to pick up the phone...Every month I was calling the customer service because of the large amount of leads that had invalid phone numbers or didn't answer their phones, or the fact that my app was malfunctioning and I'm wasn't getting notified of the leads until a day after, Which I was being automatically charged for. Come to find out ...You are competing with over 6 different local companies for each lead, so the customer gets overwhelmed with all the calls and thinks you are a scam. (From conversation with many Angi customers.)

Wife did search and we are very pleased that we used Angie's List to hire our painter. John ** did an outstanding job of not only painting our house but also repaired and painted the surrounding backyard stucco walls. He reinstalled all screen windows and cleanup was exceptional.

I’ve found solutions; companies to help me resolve issues. Angi helped me find repair companies for a burst water pipe and followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the job done. And I am happy to provide a review for a company I have repeatedly used and would highly recommend.

I hired JJ quality builders to do a complete reroof on my home and I can honestly say they are the best roofing company I have contacted. From start to finish it this process has been amazing with them. I 100% recommend this company. You will never see the owner of a business actually come and sit down with you to explain the roofing process with you but this company did. Jesus the owner is phenomenal!

Angi's service was horrible from top to bottom. I booked a project for my home weeks in advance. I communicated with the assigned contractor several times, including the week before the installation date. The contractor failed to arrive for the appointment. I looked at my Angi app, and a different contractor was suddenly assigned. I contacted him, not knowing his full name or qualifications. He had no idea he had been booked and was busy all week. I contacted Angi. Zero response. They sent an auto-message at the end of the project time asking about the service.

Make A Choice Home Exterior was a company that exceeded our expectations. After interviewing 5 different companies we knew they were the one that was going to assist us in the largest financial decision we had to make. We had never remodeled the exterior of our home, or any others and the task seemed overwhelming. Chuck was extremely knowledgeable in the process and took the time to listen to our concerns. His professional approach on “what is reasonable and customary” when starting a project of this scale made us both feel at ease. He provided many different options for repair, replacement and kept it all within our stated budget.

Angi Corporation: 1. are thieves 2. removed speaking to a person on the phone 3. made the furniture assembly process a free for all, up for grabs with any internet contractor allowed to accept your assembly appointment. 4. revamped Handy's process and eliminated common sense, process transparency and professionalism

Created a level of organization that could be continue and improve my life and my family's life. She created a space for the dogs and organized my son's space quarterly. She organized my kitchen and my business and always willing to help with whatever I asked.

This company, first of all the communication between pros and the service is horrible, only texting is the way of communication. When I show up to a job and there is no data connection then they can't confirm I was there. Also the if the customer doesn't answer the door and I am there all the customer has to do is say I never showed up then I get fined for false claims. The customer service for the pros is the worst I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Don't do buisness with this shady company unless you enjoy being overworked and vastly underpaid.

I tried to use the service for moving. However, because I refused to allow cold calling to my cell phone I was told I can not use the service and the person on the phone hung up on me. I have a full time job, why would I be ok with people calling my cell phone all day. I have read the reviews and they don't just give your number to a few people. I said I rather have email contacts so that I can control the number of people and once the job it over, I don't have my phone ringing. If that is the customer service you get before you sign up, I am glad I never used the service.

This company appears to be out of control or overwhelmed in some very negative way. After having a problem with the contractor that I hired through them, I was unsuccessful in getting them to respond to me in any way. They completely ignored all my efforts and did not stand behind their "happiness guarantee." It is clear in retrospect that any company can get their stamp of approval by paying their fee. I do not think this company is operating in good faith and I would never use them again. Find a contractor through this company at your own risk. If you happen to get a stinker you are 100% on your own. This company will do nothing for you.

If you are looking for advertising in Angi list, the cost is not defined, the contract is annual, the monthly minimum for my area is $350. But if you cancel you pay 35%. Customer service is very rude. They just want your money, and expect you to cancel the service. The information on this page is false, because there are cancellation charges.

I had used Angie's List for many years and although I no longer needed to use them as often now, I turned to them for assistance in locating a fence contractor. I was given several to talk with, all of which that I spoke to were nice and willing to work with my problem. I depend on the site to provide me with honest people to assist me.

Victor was very prompt and was able to quickly provide extermination service. He was also able to help create a plan to make sure re-application was not required and to keep fleas from returning. Victor worked with me to make sure that we could get this done on a schedule that worked for me and I would happily use his service again.

We've been using Angie's List for years. I've always found it very helpful. We have used it when we were living in San Francisco. It helped us find the right people to do the work we needed. We've used it at home here in Chesapeake for years for the same reason.

Great service to find the right people to get a job done. Have used in the past and just the other day. Found a great tree service to work on a very old tree in my yard. The tree dropped a tree sized limb onto the cable lines and was being held up by them. I would would use both the tree company and ANGI's site in the future.

I was skeptical of Angi-listed contractors originally; I thought they paid for placement. However, after doing some independent online research, our experience has been nothing but positive. Do some pay? Who knows, but I'm just not sure I care anymore.

I was never contacted by a contractor. When I tried to contact the contractor, Hightower Reality Solutions, voice mail box was full. Then I was Bombarded with emails From Angi about becoming a member when advertising suggests it's a free service for homeowners. All in all a very frustrating experience.

I used to really like using Angie's list to get reliable reviews of service providers, now Angi makes it harder to see reviews without "requesting a service" which results in no response or too many harassing phone calls. I did end up finding a great provider this time, but the process to get there was non-ideal. My prior request I got no responses at all. I will just use Google in the future.

Gotten several projects done with Angi. As soon as you submit a project several highly qualified companies and professionals reach out. Never had the first issue. My most recent project was the largest. A custom pool deck for a newly installed pool. Southern Belle Construction reached out, gave a guaranteed quote and it was built by the end of the next week!

When I first signed up their sales rep promised me more than what they could offer. The leads they send are not services we provide and I'm stuck in a 1 yr contract or pay a cancellation fees. The account I was assigned and his manager have actually told me to change the services I provide so that I can offer more in the category that I am in. I was extremely clean in the beginning that we do not do remediation, my account rep personally told me he could get me 15-20 per month, then when I only had 1 contact per month he lied and said he never said that, then back tracked and said, "Well I should have looked into it more." Their metrics are off and are not representative to the truth.

In April I inquired about a pool service on line. In order to join I gave my credit card. I hired another company outside of Angie's. I received a text from a pool company saying they were on their way to my house. I informed them that I did not contract with them and asked them please not to come to my house. They showed up anyway while the other pool company was there. They left and billed me almost 900 dollars. I complained and it was adjusted off my credit card. In August I was "rebilled" the 900 dollars. When I called they insisted I was not "rebilled." I sent them a screen shot to show them that I most definitely was. 3 hours of going back and forth and still no resolution. I would not recommend this company to any one. Plus you constantly have people contacting you when you are no longer interested in their services. Terrible company.

Ken is a great electrician with a great personality as well. My two GFCI outlets were not working. He realized it was a short and fixed it for a reasonable price. There is a reason he has a 5 star rating on Angie's list. Call him up for his free phone estimate and you will see what I'm talking about. He's definitely the first person I will call for any future electrical problems in the Bronx area.

Total remodel. All necessary steps were taken to ensure all work preformed was up to code. Excellent contractor. Estimate was accurate and completed on time. Good communication throughout the process. Very satisfied. Would definitely recommend this team to do jobs for friends. I already have this contractor on speed dial for future projects.

I've only had great experiences with their contractors. Nothing more to say. Used a few times for my home. Small and big jobs. Received phone calls right away from several contractors, hired right away and started job within a couple of days.

Angi no longer allows you to choose which contractors to contact. You have to enter a complete description of the issue and then contractors call you. I want to see a list of contractors with their ratings and I will choose who to contact.

Cody & his crew were here all day (12 hrs) clearing the old mulch & spraying the new weed growth and laying mulch over the entire backyard. They all worked tirelessly for 12 hours with this necessary project before I can rent my house. Everyone on Cody's crew was hardworking, polite & a pleasure to get to know! I would hire Cody's company again and I intend to recommend him to my local family & friends.

Contracted for 3 separate services through Angi. 2 did well, the 3rd was terrible. Tried to make a complaint through Angi's "Happiness Guarantee". Sent 2 emails and eventually called. Customer service agent was NOT helpful at all and I have not been contacted about my complaint. Do NOT use or trust Angi unless you are a gambler.

It’s hard finding someone trustworthy and competent to work in your home. Angi has helped with roof replacement on our former home, and finding Bob ** to worked at numerous projects in the house we recently purchased. We trust the people sent by Angi. This service has been mentioned to our friends when they are searching for someone to come to their home and have a project done. We certainly appreciate the ease of Angie’s list.

I needed two trees trimmed, one in the front and one out back. I just called yesterday and they immediately got with me. Showed up this morning at 9 and I hired them on the spot. They came prepared and we’re done in 2 hours. Cleaned up every leaf and limb. Great job and very professional. I definitely would recommend them.

The business is scamming business owners listed with Angie's List. Any time a consumer pings a contractor listed with Angie's, the contractor is automatically charged for the referral. Our experience has been the the consumer WILL NOT answer the calls from us or will lie and tell us they've already contracted another contractor (15 minutes after the referral is sent). Consumers use it to search for contractors with NO INTENTION of contracting. Angie's CHEATS the contractor out of "advertising" charges and WILL NOT refund when a lead is dead from the start. DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE WE DID!

Every part of the experience was excellent. From the punctuality of getting the estimate to the actual installation everything was done on a timely basis and with as professional people as I’ve ever worked with. I will definitely be referring them to all of my friends.

I had reserved a handyman. Because I am partially disabled and a single woman I tried contacting the Handyman. He never returned my call. So I canceled 5 days before the reserved date. On that day the Handyman called me. I told him I had canceled 5 days prior and he did not return my call. His English was not that good but I thought he understood. So not only did he do nothing but I have been charged for work that says was completed. I tried to find the name of the Handyman on my account and there is no information. They request all this info that I do not have.

When trying to write a review of tree service provider we recently used I was prevented from submitting the review unless I accepted Angi terms and conditions. There was no way to accept the terms and I was stuck in an infinite loop. I was signed in at the time. The helpful chat agent gave me a link to a slightly different review page and I was able to complete the review without the problem. The only difference was that the first review page was accessed via a link from an email from the tree service provider and the review pages was laid out differently with that link.

I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to rate Angi's or the contractor I used. I'm happy with Angi's and ecstatic with my cabinet guy, Dennis ** of Affordable Cabinets of Cape Cod. I found several of my contractors on Angi's and so I'm quite happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone.

In my humble opinion here, Angie’s List is a Corrupt Company. We hired them to send someone to clean our home monthly. Their very first visit was cancelled by them at 7:30am for a Saturday 8am appointment. That should have been a red flag. They rescheduled for the following Tuesday at 4pm to 6:30pm. They arrived 10 minutes late and they only worked for 70 minutes and they said they were done. To summarize, they didn’t do much at all. They never swept the floors and they just wiped everything down with a DRY cloth and really didn’t get much accomplished at all.

Was trying to find company who could install pet resistant turf because we have large dogs who have destroyed yard around back porch. Angi made it super easy to find and contact local companies!! The company we went with was super friendly, professional and timely!!! We were kept up to date with progress of project the entire time from when we signed contract!

I booked a service through "Angi" based on the generally good reputation of the old "Angie's List". Big mistake. They rescheduled 10 minutes before my appointment time and chose a new time for me that didn't work for me. I called and texted and emailed and they refused to cancel the appointment or give me a refund. The technician showed up at the arbitrary time they had specified and I wasn't there so they marked the service as complete. Further calls and emails were to no avail. Stay far away from this company. Their only goal is to dupe you into scheduling an appointment and they do nothing after that.

Angi sent me a painter for a project in my kitchen. This person used the contractor license of someone else illegally. They charged me for work not done and never finished the work. Angi promised me a refund and never sent me the money. I waited a month and contacted them several times about it. They gave me a crook for a painter and then lied to me about the refund. I have the emails to prove this and will take them to small claims court.

I have used Angi to find professions for landscaping, yard maintenance, roofing, exterior painting, and electrical work. I am very happy to have a place I can count on to find quality professionals to do the work I need done.

Foundation repair. Professional foundation repair. Performed a complete earthquake retrofit on our home. They did the most excellent job. Their customer service could not be beat. Their workers were responsive as well as their office staff. I would recommend them to anyone.

Book a lawn mowing service through Angi List. Went to verify who was coming on the scheduled day and the app and the website said to contact a specific person and a phone number. When called, the person couldn't tell the company's name and said she could not tell me more information because she was at work. I hung up and called Angi customer service. Was on hold for an hour, then the first customer service person I spoke to was rude and provided me with a fake phone number for their corporate office. After another hour of being on hold, I finally talked to another customer service agent that canceled the job. I used them for a move when they were Angie's List and didn't have an issue. What has happened to this company? Customer beware!

Arizona Trade Masters came and fixed my home AC unit and did a great job and I would use them every time. They went out of their way to get my part that was on backorder. They actually bought a new compressor for me to get my AC done in a timely manner.

I would never recommend Angi for this service again. It was like signing up for a black box. No contract, no invoice, no statement of work. I had no idea what I signed up for, and apparently it wasn't much. My tenants moved out and I needed the apartment cleaned. Fortunately for me, I requested the stove and refrigerator to be cleaned because that was not a standard service and it would not have been done either. Actually upon further inspection, there was a streak of grease running down the entire length of the oven door. The only thing I could tell that the standard service provided was all sinks and faucets were cleaned and the kitchen countertop was cleaned. Of the items cleaned, one toilet was still dirty, and the drawer below the oven was not cleaned (See Photo). The floors were not mopped or even swept. I don't think they even entered the bedrooms.

My first experience with Angi involved an electrician coming to my house and yelling at me to pay him a $150 fee just for showing up and giving a rough estimate, although he had said over the phone that the estimate would be free. He also yelled at me that he had to pay a $75 finders fee to Angi and demanded I reimburse him for that. I complained to Angi and they did nothing--they never even responded. I told my agent and he said, "that's why I stopped using HomeAdvisor." I have attempted to hire other pros through Angi/HomeAdvisor but I have found the options are very limited and prices are inflated.

This is my first experience with Angi's new service where homeowners pay an annual fee, describe a project and Angi claims it will provide a quote and staff the job with vetted professionals. First contractor that was assigned to the job was a refrigeration specialist. He called me the day before the job was scheduled to tell me he was wrongly assigned and would not be coming out. Then the job opened-up again to Angi contractors and someone else was assigned to do concrete repair (small area 5' x 5'). The second contractor (very nice guy) showed up, looked at the job, left to get materials and removed the old concrete. He said he was only schedule from 9-1:30 and was getting paid a fraction of what Angi quoted me.

“Breaker Panel Upgrade/Misc. work” I purchased a house and found some electrical issues that needed to be addressed. I wanted an electrician who could perform an inspection and give me an estimate for not only the known issues but for anything else that may need to be updated and/or corrected/fixed. When I started looking for an electrician, I was looking for someone who did quality work and that would do the job right the first time. I came across Blue Collar Electricians in my search and after reading the reviews contacted them for an inspection estimate.

This company was prompt and very clean while working. I provided the paint and the company provided all supplies. I would hire him again for painting. I have also verbally retained this company to stain four decks once they are completed. Blessed Properties was a pleasure to work with!

We have hired two companies that are featured on Angi. The first company was to help us with some drywall and spackling issues that we were having. They came and did the work but we were not satisfied with it in the end. The owner came and looked at it himself and agreed that it was not on par with what their company considers to be good work. They did agree to come out and repair the portion of spackle, after a little bit of back and forth with the owner. We were given two options, one was that the person come out and fix it or that they give us half of our money back and we do it ourselves. We took the second option. The second company that we hired through Angi was actually referred to us by a friend and we didn't know that they were on this list. They did an exceptional job installing our floor and helping with the trim. We could not be happier with the job that they did. They were professional and courteous and detail-oriented.

Andrew also hung 4 other items I needed held beside my living room mirror and helped me to locate where best to put the pictures I also wanted to be hung.

I have had some good luck finding contractors with Angi. They cover a lot of the country and being in Alaska we need all the help we can get. Angi has been around for years and they seem to have a great handle on contractor and general services reviews.

If I could do less than 0 I would. They OVERCHARGE, they UNDERPAY the contractors. I used Angi for window repair. They charged me 586 dollars for "up to 4 hours". They only pay the contractor 160. The contractor could not do the job as the windows are too old and replacement is the only option. He wasn't even there for an hour. They still charged 586 dollars. Their system is very difficult to navigate as well. They are a SCAM. DON'T BOTHER! There are plenty of ways to find suitable work. And now after speaking to the contractors, I believe the only ones desperate enough to deal with Angi are going to be subpar anyways.

It is spectacular, they are very expert workers and, above all, very good work, they improved. Super clean. They finished a while. Very punctual. Removed damaged drywall and put new drywall. I contracted with Hyler's Tree Service to remove a number of small to large trees on my property. I had to get someone who was insured properly because a number on my trees towered over my neighbor's car ports and barn that had to be either trimmed or removed entirely. There was a very large oak tree that even the trunk had bent over one of the buildings. I contacted 3 of Angi's suggested contractors. They all were capable of doing the job. I am pleased with the one I chose.

Hye design installed a beautiful artificial turf front yard. It is beautifully installed, they were prompt, clean, did what they said they would do for each day. It took a total of 1 week. There is nothing in the neighborhood to compare.

We are on an account hold from Angie’s List/Home Advisor- We were told that the accounts we would be paying for would run around $54.00. They did not. They charged us $115.00 for each lead. They also went over the spending amount given which was $300. They charged an additional $68.00 for leads they sent which were not valid, nor requested. When calling to cancel, the customer service representative argued and tried every single tactic to get us to stay to the point of NOT CANCELLING after I said, “Cancel my account, I do not wish to do business with Angie’s List/HomeAdvisor.” She said she would cancel the account.

Why they even matched me to him I'll never know. Days later had to contact Angi yet again to get all of my money refunded. Not going to trust anybody I can't speak to again.

Our heat pump failed. The company that I have been using for AC servicing was not able to repair my heat pump in a timely manner, claiming they were waiting for a part. After enduring several weeks of hot weather in desperation I called Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning. Their bid was much lower and the repair was completed just in time before several 100 degree days were approaching. I wish to thank Clint for doing an excellent job of answering my questions and Sergio most of all for braving the heat of the day and working very hard to get the heat pump going. My wife and I are 75 and enduring heat is not as easy as when we were younger. Both Clint and Sergio are heroes for bringing much needed comfort to me and my wife. Thank you so much.

Navigating the new Angie website was more difficult than previously, as the site wanted to steer me to Angie selecting a contractor, rather than just listing the names and information for companies for me to review. In addition, the system defaults to sending my contact information to companies I didn't select. Apparently I missed "unchecking" a small check box, which produced a flood of phone calls to me from companies I wasn't interested in (including one company in bankruptcy!). I found this EXTREMELY annoying and intrusive. I was, however, able find 5 candidates from Angie to interview and was able to select from these one highly rated company that did an excellent job, so I still feel Angie provides a valuable service.

They were prompt, courteous, efficient and provided quality service. They packed all of the contents of my mother's condo, kitchen, bath, bedrooms, living room, and garage. I would highly recommend this company represented by Josh and Chris for any move in the country.

Angie's List is our go to over the years to find contractors for work. It is an easy process. I’d give them a five star, but the once ease of reviewing registered contractors, now requires a separate Internet search aimed at the List or for me to actually request a quote before I am seriously looking.

The person (Jacob) installed the window unit and did a great job but forgot to reinstall the window panes back and Angi List charged me $50 for a ladder that wasn't needed, never again, beware of charges for use of installer

Outstanding fence installation yesterday. Truly "superior" quality materials and installation by "Superior Fence & Rail". Installation team worked through challenges of a heavy rainstorm, and completed the job this morning with the two gates, rail fastenings, post caps and full wipe down.

Ceasar was hired for overall landscaping work. Projects included rebuilding mailboxes inside stone pillars as the main house entrance, extending the backyard patio with relocating the shrubs and bushes to other parts of the property, refreshing the mulch layout and finishing the stone work with solar light installation. Ceasar is a very neat and clean workman in his profession. He was very professional and respected my property when doing the work. He took time out to help me choose the right product for each project around the front and back yards. His workmanship is neat and detail oriented. The combination of his level of work and pricing makes me a happy and satisfied customer.

The leads were bogus, and they continued to draft money out of my account in different amounts for a so-called early termination fee. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone if you don't want your bank account tampered with at any given time.

I have a party tomorrow and that's the whole point of hiring cleaning service, but Angie apparently thought allowing me to cancel and receive a refund is generous. I was told that this could happen any time, this is just how Angie manages requests.

I am now preparing to sue him for my loss. I'll never trust Angi again. Caveat Emptor.

Do not use Angi's subscription service. They say you will save 20% but in reality, you will overpay. I had a plumber come in and it took him 30 minutes to fix my toilet, but, I got charged for 2 1/2 hours. They book the plumber out for 2 1/2 but refuse to refund any money if they work less time than that. I repeat, don't pay for their subscription service or you will be paying for contractors doing no work. Also, customer service is no good. They do not call you back when they say they will. I asked to talk to management and they said someone would call me in 24 to 48 hours and no one called. They are disingenuous and non responsive.

This was very much a hassle free experience. My friend Jessica referred me to Michael and he spoke with my husband about the process and was just so informative and professional. Very friendly. We felt very comfortable having him wash the driveway. He did mention oil stains are not guaranteed to come out, and they are still there but a little better than what they were. They’ve been there for years so it’s understandable. All in all this was a very comfortable experience for us. I know Michael is just starting his business and we really wanted to help him with this review as a thank you.

The repair person came on time, found problems and gave recommendations. Working through the process and checking everything associated. The part couldn’t be fixed, because it’s a malfunctioning unit. Now the problem can’t be assessed by going through the test all parts like thermostat, box where the electric breaker.

My sweep, Adam, was on time (I would give 5 stars just for that in this day and age). He installed the cove and did a brief inspection of the bricks. He was quick, efficient, and polite. I had a great experience. I have been using Jack Pixley for many years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Professional attitude and service, worked around my schedule. Performed wonderfully and gave me peace of mind instead of relying on no-name people who have no problem taking the money but then can't be bothered to show up. I will be calling him back for future projects.

I would never recommend anyone to use this service. My experience with them has been absolutely horrible. First of all, the contractors that they have been providing me have been inexperienced. I used them to get some flooring done the was horrible. Painting that kept getting cancelled because the painters didn't drive out past a 12 mile radius. The painting got cancelled 4 times, which meant that I was taking off work for painting that was being canceled 30 minutes prior to them coming to my location. Lastly, a plumbing job that failed after 33 days in service. This meant that I exceeded the 30 day warranty. At this point, I have no confidence in the scheduling department or the qualifications of the repairmen that they are sending to my house.

It's impossible to get ahold of customer service. You have to send them a message and wait for them to reply. Anyway, I was charged $180 for a weekly pool cleaning service. I had thought that this was per month per what I was reading on Angi. BUT NO! They were charging me this amount EVERY WEEK! It took almost 30 minutes to figure out on their website how to cancel this service as you can't call customer service unless you're a gold member. Had to send another message asking when I'd get my money back for tomorrow's cleaning which they pre-charged me for. This company has shady pricing schemes.

My experience with Pacc Solutions was very good and professional. They were able to replace my roof and repair all the holes from hale and storm damage in a timely manner. They was very helpful working with the insurance company to get the roof approved. I would highly recommend this company to all of my friends and family and anyone who needs quality repairs done to their home. Mr. & Mrs. **.

I recently bought a "fixed price" service from Angi for 3 hours of a plumber to fix 3 leaking outdoor faucets. I provided detailed explanations and pictures of the faucets. What I got was about 1 hour of a handyman (no plumbing certification) who replaced the washers in the three faucets and fixed one leak but not the other two. Granted they were relatively old, but still.

After receiving my phone number, Handy A to Z business sold my number to Angi. No less than 11 people have called and said they paid $5.00 to get my number. I would not do business with a company that generates leads in an illegal way. I have filed a report to the FTC.

It's been along time since I used Angi (Angi's List). Around 6 years ago I think. I don't recall have to pony up $25 with a promise of that $25 getting applied to your project from the contractor once you use their contractor. No, I'm not paying a service fee of $25 for the hopes of finding a contractor. It felt very dishonest that after you have put all your project and contact info in that, they then disclose that they are going to ding you for $25. Angi, this is not good business model. There's nothing upfront about how you are doing business.

Insensitive Jerks. My father used Angi and not only did they give him useless 'leads' that were not relevant to his services (and charge him for the leads). My father passed away last month and the manager told us we could not cancel. Her response was 'Well, can't anyone else take over the business'. After my mother got aggressive, then they finally realized they can cancel. I had to email a death certificate, which is understandable but this was followed by three emails by me asking for an update since I never received a response. After 2 weeks I finally called to find out it was canceled. Never heard back from the email. Oh, and of course, they did not prorate a refund with the request for cancellation, that's what people with common sense would do. I'll never use them and I will tell everyone I know to never use them. In the worst moment of our lives, they were a disgrace.

I always consult Angi before any home project, and occasionally put out my projects to contractors through the site. Very helpful and very simple website to utilize. Even if I go direct to a company based on their ratings on multiple site, I consult Angi.

Working with Angi was great. They got me in touch with a great company who did great work. I will definitely be hiring the same company to come out when I’m ready to get my backyard patio taken care of.

I believe this is my 2nd time using a service associated with Angi. I was super satisfied both times. The first time with Unique Contracting and now with Nathan’s Carpet and Flooring. So the selection process for good companies is great. I would definitely recommend others search here for projects they want to start and complete in timely manner, with quality work being done as well. Thank you.

They didn't showed up at the appointment time and never. They tried to ** you, that professional at your door but nobody was in there. Even when I shared my location, professional gone forever. It's a Fraud.

I needed someone to drill ahold in my shed, seal around the hole, hang e fans, am afraid of heights, help move a upright freezer into the shed, I had my son to help, put in a hose, and put wire around the bottom of the shed, I was giving the response it was not enough work to get anybody to do it but for 400.00 they could try to find someone.

Okay, I used HomeAdvisor in past projects, and no need to mention on how handyman quote works. But this time I need to repair my washing machine, and requested a quote thru Angi (machine is still working but making the noise, maybe need to replace the bearing, happened to us last time). My expectation was local pros will contact me with pricing. Either way, Angi agent called me and gave a fix price offer on labor services, $250, with 6 months warranty on work + insured unto 50K on damages. Parts will cost separate. I never used pre-paid offer deal and decided to use.
