Electrical Detectives Inc company came out to install GFCI outlet in my kitchen and to update the other outlets in my older home. Jason showed up exactly at the time he said he would. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I inquired about recessed can lightings in my home. I had four lights bulbs out Jason immediate notice the bulbs were not LED but Halogen bulbs. That was surprising to me the previous company insure me they were LED. Jason gave me a completive quote to change out all of the bulbs (12) to LED make my house more energy efficient and increase saving.

Submitted for a quote. Was contacted right away. Job completed quickly without any issues by a great service provider, Matt ** from support@EZsolarservice.com. I have nothing but great things to say about this experience with EZ solar service dot com.

Job seemed to be done but handyman failed to tell me he broke pipes in process. Next day I learned he broke my pipes and had to pay 500 dollars to repair it. I notified Angie's and they did not answer.

Very professional and reasonable. Darren took the time to explain what he was doing for each day. Cleaned up everyday until project was completed. Showed up early and completed the day's goal when he said he would and was very fair in his pricing. He previously installed a closet ladder which made us consider the ceiling project. Would consider him for any other projects we may have.

I needed a 100 ft. tall cut down and removed from my property. Bryce ** and his crew gave me a fair estimate and put me on their schedule. They came the day they said they would, and did exactly what they said they would. They cut and removed the tree. They did an excellent job of cleaning everything up. I highly recommend Dalton Landscapes for any tree removal or tree trimming. They are honest and do excellent work.

I attempted this project prior to realizing this was out of my skill set. It was 8:00p.m.. I contacted Angi's. I received an ETA and pricing information. The contractor (locksmith) was personable and professional. We talked while he worked. I learned what I did incorrectly when Mr. Handy ** (locksmith) observed what little I had accomplished was in the incorrect location. I have gained a valuable asset. I now know a competent, reliable professional that I can rely on. I will use Knobs and Bolts in the future. That is the highest recommendation a consumer can write.

I accidentally asked Angie's List for an estimate approximately two months ago. I have receive over 1500 nuisance calls regarding this issue. I have INSISTED on three different occasions to Angie's List, to cease and desist without success. I assume this company sells my information for profit, with no incentive to protect the consumer. DO NOT USE this company. I am in the process of initiating litigation for harassment and invasion of privacy.

Services were performed professionally, punctually, and with great attention to detail. Craftsmanship was far beyond expectations. I would most definitely recommend the provider to others, even my own family. The provider was essential in helping me to decide certain details of the project. All in all, a wonderful experience. We were very happy with the workers and owner of the business. They were prompt on the job and answered all our questions. The job was completed in the time specified. We would give them a chance to bid on any other jobs we might have. We have had many complements from the tenants on how the painting was done.

Four tries for an appointment for assembling a bookcase and multiple phone calls and more frustration than the bookcase was worth! Never will I work with Angi for anything, anymore!!! Ever!!! They are not honest and way underpay their workers by telling them it's a simple table assembly and not a more complicated bookcase.

Haven’t got my office clean in like a year and my floors really needed to be cleaned as well. All of my chairs in my office. Jeff came in and explained everything, told me pricing, everything was reasonable. He was very professional and he was on time. Thank you Jeff for a good job.

Jake was outstanding. The only issue I had was with Angi - after I had chosen my vendor, I kept getting calls and they said they had just received the notice from Angi. I think Angi needs to only send it out to techs who the customer identifies. It was uncomfortable having them call and me having to say I already had someone coming out to give me an estimate.

Jose's team are very professional, people are nice. They painted inside and outside the house even fix the hole that squirrel made. When I call Angi, they respond fast, find professional company for me to choose, I would highly recommend for my friends to call Angi when they need job done.

I signed up for Angie's List and within an hour I was receiving back to back spam phone calls and emails... I waited a day and then deleted the APP and deleted my account. They said it would take up to 30 days to delete the account. A Week later and am still getting 10 or more SPAM calls a day. I keep my info private enough that I have never had anything like this happen so I know this is the only explanation. The frustration and annoyance was not worth looking for a contractor that I could have found on my own with a little research. Do not put your information on this site if you do not want this to happen to you.

Moved and packed everything. All items was handled with care, and was very careful nothing was damaged. Everything was took down and put back up correctly. He took his time and wrapped everything. Did more than actually was expected. I was very satisfied, and I will recommend it to anyone.

I bought 3 ceiling fans from Lowe’s with installation provided by Angie’s list. The pro sent did not clean up, left dirty handprints on my ceilings and the lights on two on the three fans flicker constantly. To add insult to the injury, I was charged $600 and the so called pro took only two hours on the ‘sloppy’ and apparently defective installation.

My experience with Kyle was excellent. He did very good work and will recommend him and call him with my plumbing needs. This is my experience with Angi, it has been good, so far. The 5 Star rating is mostly for Drip & Drains company and its founder Kyle **. Thank You.

We’ve used Angi in the past for tree work with much success. Completed a submission this morning for gas/air pump bid. I have been getting spam texts all day for things that have nothing to do with our project.

Great company Junk King, better service. Fair pricing. Abby who answers the phone, was extremely professional and polite. She gave me a fair price and assured me that service would be exact. The service quick, and exact. If you are in need of a great hauling service, Junk King is the company to roll with.

I could be more happier with Pristine clean. They have been incredibly helpful to me over the last three weeks. They clean blinds, walls, baseboards replaced all the caulking and all my kitchens and bathrooms and they were on time. They were neat and nice and did such a wonderful job. I would highly recommend these people to anyone who is looking for a deep clean. In fact, they did such a great job. I hired them Weekly to clean my home, I have two dogs so we have a lot of hair and boy after they leave there’s no hair anywhere. Definitely a five star company.

Work was done on time and workers showed up when I was told they would. Work was done beyond my expectations. Tree service was done and fence repair. When the workers left all was cleaned up and left in order. I would hire them again and will also tell friends about his company’s integrity.

Angi's site is an awesome site and tool. They provide the absolute best in contractors for any job all may have. Angie's website takes the guesswork out of who is who, of which will save you much headache from finding and having to deal with a shotty contractor, that could cost you way more than the project should you have to hire another contractor to fix what the initial shotty contractor had done, and court time and fees for not using Angi website. Angi will also save you valuable time, and give you peace of mind, like it did me and my family. Thank you very much ANGI!

They got me a pro really fast and he was very knowledgeable about my project and fixed it correctly and have had zero issues. All my friends have one of their pros' number on speed dial. From beginning to end, Dave was extremely helpful and patient with helping me replace my roof. With his 40+ years of expertise, I knew I could trust Dave with all my roofing needs. Due to my homeowner’s insurance and HOA, the process was prolonged, but Dave continually provided answers to the many, many questions I had and gave me updates along the way. In terms of the actual roof replacement, everything was completed within a day and A-1 Best Roofing took the time and effort to ensure that everything looked better than it was before! They ran through the grass multiple times with magnets to clean up any loose nails. If I need a roof replacement again, I definitely know where to go. Thank you all so much!

Owner's communication is excellent. What he was going to do and when it would happen was very clear to us. Workers were very pleasant, courteous and neat. Preparation for the work was extensive - helped to minimize dust in the rest of the house. Very pleased with the quality of the workmanship - his crew is experienced with their skills. We have had many compliments from friends and neighbors on the results of their efforts. Cleanup was impressive. His fees are in line with the quality of the work he delivers.

Tile choices were selected and brought to our home for final selection. This saved us precious time overall. The tile cutting was done outside which minimized the dust and noise which was most appreciated. Daily schedules were always discussed in advance and daily cleanup was always adhered to. Any deviation from the original plan was thoroughly explained. Our privacy was always respected and we were always asked about our schedules to prevent any conflicts.

Angie's List has proven to be a complete disappointment, and I am utterly frustrated with their way of doing business. They have made me waste an unreasonable amount of time and money without delivering any value in return. First of all, their so-called "list" of service providers is far from reliable. I followed their recommendations for various services, only to end up with subpar results and sometimes even shoddy workmanship. It's clear that the vetting process for these providers is severely lacking.

Although the professional I hired to fix my stovetop did a good job, Angi is a HORRIBLE and unprofessional service. It has been six weeks, and they are unable to provide me with an itemized receipt of my service so that I can be reimbursed by my landlord. I am losing $300 as a result for a job that took 10 minutes (repairing a gas range). When you call for help, they will send you in circles calling the same number for "post-project support" to speak to the same idiots over and over again who can do nothing to help you. This is a ridiculously irresponsible and dysfunctional website, and I will never use them again.

It is much more difficult than it used to be to search the directory. I. have at times filled out confusing fields and then I get called relentlessly by providers who want me to hire them for my "project," when I never intended to get quotes from cold calls to me. Please make it easier to just do a search and not have providers reach out. I use Angie's list much less often now because it is so difficult to just do a straightforward search. You may think it is obvious, but for busy people who just want to sign on and do a search, it's frustrating to have to search for how to that (particularly when using an iPad or phone). Also the phone #'s provided by Angie's list often go unanswered.

Tree removal and stump grinding. They were on time and very respectful of my property. They were also very nice to me and my dogs. I would hire them again! They also cleaned up my yard and left everything in better shape than when they came. The tree was very close to my house and they were extremely careful to keep the tree limbs from falling on my house.

All work was performed in a timely manner and was very professional. Tile flooring was perfect. Baseboards were perfect. We’re very pleased with the countertops and the cabinets. The quality is excellent. I have only positive words for this excellent team of professionals. The computer generated drawings of their work prior to the written contract was very professional.

The work was completed in a professional manner, although to add a cost after the work was completed was not expected. It should have been stated before the work was to be completed. I was overall satisfied with the work that was performed. Alex and his team were mindful of any mess they created.

I went on Angi's to find a concrete contractor for a 1000 square foot driveway project I needed done. No contact of nearly a year and then I was quoted 35% higher than the national average. The work was so subpar, I am going to have to involve the CCB (Contractor's Construction Board), the BBB and possibly a lawyer. An employee of Angi's contacted me this morning at 6 AM?! This wasn't the contractor; it was an employee of Angi's. You're not going to get a good satisfaction survey out of anyone at that hour of the morning.

Very easy to use! It was an easy way to find the service needed and once I found someone to do what I needed it only went up from there! I am going to tell everyone about this app and I really liked who I found. I would re-hire her again!

I used Angi to help me find a moving company to move items from my storage facility to my home garage. I hired Matt and Tim from Mr Mover. They gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone for time and cost of the move. They gave me a better rate because I booked through Angi as well as a cash discount. They were extremely careful when moving my items, especially artwork, furniture, and breakable belongings. They were very personable and professional. I highly recommend them and definitely would use them in the future!

I give a 10/10. My blinds and carpets were cleaned well. In addition, they removed things I wanted to throw away. I suffer from asthma and allergies and now I can breathe. Very professional, I’ll definitely recommend to my family and friends. I already booked for March to get help with Spring cleaning.

Pop ups about getting a price on boiler installation and I enter my info. I get calls from all sorts of professions to install a boiler. I even got an electrician to call. I thought, oh well, I'll ask him about delta T or the second rule of thermodynamics to see how much he knew about heating. Simple job: install B vent, attach TT and 120 to boiler, connect supply, return and gas line, a 1 day job. Never showed. The boiler and vent pipe under $3,000 total.

The sign-up process was fast, easy, and we had jobs within a week. I like the program! I thought the price was great. I suggest trying Angie's out if you are a contractor or repair service. They require a background check and a reference from a previous customer.

My sensors were out of line, dusty, not working. Corey at Spectrum Overhead Door called me and when I told him the issues, he recommended several options, and I tried them. I didn't need anyone to come to my home, which saved me money and time since I work. If I ever need any assistance with my garage door, I will call Spectrum Overhead Door.

My wife went to Angie's to get the ball rolling on installing a new furnace. Angie's sent a few contractors our way for free estimates. One of the contractors Key Heating Air, LLC found out I was getting more than one quote, they said I would have to pay for their guys coming out. I tried to call Angie's to ask about this, but was redirected to an automated line to sell me medical devices and simply hung up on each other time I called. It was my understanding that once upon a time at least, Angie's List was a good list of reputable contractors. This is clearly no longer the case.

Had a water heater replaced and old unit disposed of. Prompt, efficient install. Great price. As good as it gets! Friendly and quick! Left the work area clean. Placed a quote request for the job with Angi and received multiple quotes quickly. This was our fourth project sourced through Angi and we recommend them highly.

He was professional and quickly responsive. He did a beautiful job. I actually went through some other company and it leaded me to Angie's List.

I hired Sierra Stone to do my repairs. Not only did they arrive on time, they were professional, personable and promised me that they would not leave until they were sure everything was working as it should have. The service was performed two days ago and all is running great. Thank you, Juan!!!

Every person we have used from Angi has been courteous, efficient and professional. Jared had a thorough explanation of the problem, and asked us to call him if we had any problem with the repair. I have my windows changed with Rise Renovation company. They are the greatest ever in Colorado from the beginning to end, price is very low than average and the guys are awesome, very professional and quick and clean. They finish 13 windows in few hours! Thanks to Nick and his guys.

I was very surprised that I got such a quick response and the work was done quickly. We had a sagging floor and found out we had mold in the crawl space which was remediated by the company we hired through Angie’s List. They also had to replace a beam and put footers and platforms to sure up the flooring. They also installed a new vapor barrier. They replaced all the wood soffits and facia boards, installed siding over all the soffits, replace all the wood on the front porch, covered it with vinyl siding, replaced the posts and covered them with siding and installed guttering. The company we used was A Step Above Handyman Services out of Morganton NC. Thanks, Angi.

I went online to find a heating & air conditioning professional. I remember hearing about Angie’s List. I went online and found Angie’s list. Angie’s list gave me a list of 5 companies. Two of them called me back. My boiler was not working during a cold snap. They were all 5 star rated companies. I would recommend using Angie’s list again.

The service was Perfect and fast. They are very professional. The employee arrived on time, best price at the market, they delivered an outstanding to the quality of services, beyond all expectation. They definitely gave the extra mile. Definitely I will call them again and I recommend the company.

I purchased a mirror from Walmart. During the purchase it asked did I want Angie's list to have a contractor come hang the list. I paid for the service and was scheduled for the 9th. I took off of work for the contractor to come hand the mirror. 1 hour before they were due to arrive they cancelled. They rescheduled for the 11th. I took off work again. 1 hour before they were due to arrive again they called and cancelled. I contacted Angie's list they rescheduled for me with a different contractor for the 18th at 5:00 p.m. At 4:57 I get an email from Angie's list stating that the booking was cancelled. I have never experienced anything like this. I contacted Angie's list and there is no supervisor to talk to. There is no corporate number. I am so disappointed.

We loved this company back when they were Service Magic. Used them in all of our homes. No question. Reliable, quality and excellent customer service. Angi is the exact opposite of that - we have tried them numerous times. No return calls, unreliable contractors and just horrible. Would never use them again.

We use New Leaf with Jose because we found him in May of 2020 and he is so dependable. We sought him out by ourselves. We’re just trying to let others know about his integrity and professionalism. He’s always on time and his work is solid. He’s built fences and paved walks, done our tree trimming, landscaping, sheet rocking, organizing, removing many unwanted items, cleaning roofs and gutters, and completing any of the things that we have need of.

I booked gutter cleaning through Angi twice. The first time the person did not show, did not call, NADA. I called to reschedule, asking for a different person to do the job. They arrived two hours after the appointment, so that it was nightfall (!), and told me that it didn't matter-- they could do the job AT NIGHT!! When it was dark, they told me that they had to come back with equipment that would allow them to do it from the roof (huh?). Today I called the customer service number and got on endless hold, having to hang up. Notice, either there is no customer service number on the webpage or it's carefully hidden. What #)(**$ !

Level up construction insulated the attic and bedrooms of the upper level of my home without any concerns and in a timely manner. The job was completed very professionally. With very little clean up after, on my part. I Would definitely hire again and I am pleased with their service.

Title: Disappointing Service Experience with Angi Repairs. I recently had a disappointing experience with Angi's repair service, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations. It all started when Angi reached out to me, inquiring about my need for a dryer repair. Eager to have my appliance fixed promptly, I explained to the call center representative that my dryer was not heating up and required attention. I also made it clear that it had been recently repaired, prompting me to inquire about Angi's guarantee on their repair services.

Super easy to use and very handy. The company they helped me find was super great. Really loved how my home looks and I will be happy to work with them again on future projects around the house. Also I’d like to add that I’ve added reviews and for some reason it doesn’t show them. I really want this company to strive because they really made me feel comfortable and most definitely looking forward to work with them again.

Good to be able to recommend a person that does great work. It’s also good to let others know when work is less than satisfactory. Mr ** was prompt and did an excellent job after we had a water leak that was covered by insurance. He got my kitchen back in order immediately.

We purchased some furniture items from Wayfair who then contracts with Angi for installation. Our appointment was set for 3 pm on a Sunday. The so-called “professional” did not show up nor did he call. After Wayfair was not able to get in touch with him, we had to reschedule. Quite annoying as I had to cancel another appointment.

Overall great work. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for quality work for an affordable price. Very flexible and understanding. On time and home friendly. Very trustworthy people garage. They didn’t mind traveling to my house even though it was an hour from where they lived. Done it every day until the job is complete.

Salvatore did really great work and was on time for the job. He installed plenty of shelves throughout my house and hung up various closet doors. He kept his area very clean and always cleaned up after himself when he was done with each job. I definitely would call him if you need any repairs in your home.

I had two light fixtures in my kitchen area replaced that were not working properly. I had two light switches on the wall replaced that were not working properly. I liked the two new light fixtures that were installed in place of the old ones. Job was done in two hours and forty minutes.

I hired Zac to fix two closet door tracks. I had them fix before but now the tracks were just too far gone and needed to be replaced. I also needed the room to be completely painted wall ceiling and a lot of trim. Zac did a great job. I’m glad I chose him out of all the bids. Thanks, Angi.

I had a licensed electrical contractor perform interior and exterior wiring, lighting fixtures, and electrical receptacles installations. He installed both 110 and 220-volt wiring. He gave me a written estimate and stuck to his prices. He showed up on time for both the estimate and the work. He replied immediately to questions a few days after the work was completed.

Jose was a professional and did a fantastic job on my unit. He gave me a full recommendation and made everything so smooth. Definitely will be more than glad to recommend his job and work with him again! He was on time, explain easy to understand what was going to be done and he left my unit working and clean.

Do NOT pay your hard earned money to hire someone to set anything up from Angi, they are extremely unorganized, and paying more to have someone make my life easier has been the most ridiculous waste of my time. Hire someone from another company to set up your Wayfair furniture. Because of Angi, I never had a chance to see the furniture fully assembled and I’m sending it back because the “pros” from Angi are extremely unreliable and waste your time and money, because they don’t show up. Customer service is a mess and they never accurately document conversations and manipulate you into thinking that they are solving your problem just to see an email hours later showing the exact opposite of the conversation you had with them. They have been the biggest mistake and waste of time I’ve done in my life.

Things went smoothly. No mess, cleaned up as they went. Left no trash behind. Did a walkthrough before leaving. Told me to call if a problem came up. Work was done on time. Looked out for my safely at all time. Would have them back for my next project.

They replaced my old fluorescent lights with LED and rerouted one circuit that had blown a circuit breaker. The latter job was most difficult, but they rewired the circuit and all is well now. The lighting is great. And to reroute the one circuit required many trips up and down the stairs to the basement. It ended up completely to my satisfaction and nice to have the lights in the kitchen and library working properly again.

I had a backyard cedar privacy fence installed. It was installed on rolling landscape and through the remnants of an old concrete wall. I located the contractor I used via Angi. Their quote was fair and that plus the positive reviews for this contractor on Angi led me to engage them. I did not regret it.

I purchased an item from Wayfair along with an installation package via their partnership with Angie. The charge from Angie was $65.00. Three installers agreed and NEVER showed up. These confirmed contractors were to arrive on Tuesday, 12/5/23 @ 12 noon, then Thursday, 12/7/23 @ 2 pm, and again today, 12/8/23 @ 0930 am. Always at the last minute, Angie sends an excuse email about having to reschedule for the following week. Yesterday, I contacted the 2nd installer asking why he was late for the 2 pm appointment; HIS REPLY: He only gets $30 of the $65 prepaid charge, and it's NOT worth his time nor effort.

Excellent work, removed three stumps and a few limbs from my fence, super friendly and got it done in just a few hours, highly recommend! They arrived a few minutes early to make sure I was able to show them exactly what needed to be done and they did not disappoint.

Customer service at Angi is very poor. Their customer service agents are limited in what they can help with and they send you into an endless cycle of phone transfers, chat transfers and text transfers. I finally corresponded with my "Pro" and he canceled on me at the last minute and his phone would not receive texts or phone calls. Due to a party we had scheduled, I ultimately had to set-up another service at the last minute which cost me 3x more. Even when I tried to cancel my Angi service they wanted to charge me a $75 fee for canceling, even with the horrible service. I would highly recommend you pass of this company. I have contacted Samsung with the same message.

I needed to have a porch rescreened. I checked Angie's List (that was its old name) and received an offer of $20,000 with no warranty. I checked around and found someone who did the work in 2 and a half days and cost $5,100. I subscribed to Angie's List for years but that last reference was awful.

My fireplace cleaning and repair went very well. The technician was knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions and explain certain things that he thought would be beneficial to me. I would recommend this company because they do a thorough job and my now my fireplace works like new.

We booked an appointment with Angi to get some Christmas lights installed on our house. This appointment was scheduled to be done on November 28 paid in full at booking. When the day came around for the appointment I received emails confirming that the appointment would start at the scheduled time, so an hour after the appointment was supposed to start I received a text saying the guy was running late. I can understand that completely. But then the guys calls and says, "Hey I’m running really late," and asked what he is supposed to do on my house when he comes later. So I told the guy he is definitely going to need a tall ladder. It’s a two story house. So he tells me he only has a 20 foot ladder. So they had to reschedule us for the 4th with someone who had a ladder that was tall enough.

Work was done well and exactly as we discussed before I left for work. She organized my items, placed in plastic tote containers and labeled the containers with the contents. She was honest and trustworthy because I left my home and she was unsupervised. Nothing was missing or taken and it is hard to find honest hardworking people in our world nowadays!

The repair man never returned to repair my appliance yet charged me for the visit with the agreement of returning with the parts to fix my appliance. Was only at my home for less than an hour. I contacted Angie and explained to them what was going on and after two hours of phone tag I was given the corporate number just to be hung up on. I called them four times and they refused to accept my calls. This is a horrible place to contact for any type of repair as they take no pride in who they hire and send to your home. I had to contact the police to resolve the issue with this repairman, received zero help from Angie.

I needed a sump pump installed under my crawl space due to rainwater build up when having lots of rain. The contractor Angi recommended Ross Cheely Construction & Renovations out of Milledgeville, Ga. did the sorriest installation putting in the pump and grading wall slope. Left my previously installed moisture barrier pulled back from under house with dirt piled on top from grading the wall slope. Sump pump has not worked automatically the first time. He was coming back out to test it filling up the bucket with water to see it would activate. He never showed up. Sump pump doesn't even work. I filed a report with Angi for recommending an unqualified contractor. Angi had me report him to Fairclaims Court which is a division of Angi in settling arguments to no avail. Angi and Fairclaims is a waste of time contacting to get a job done. They both don't stand behind their recommendations. Both companies are a ripoff.

We listed with Angi and Anthony with Garage Owl called to set up appointment. I explained what we needed. He assured me that he could complete and we set up a agreed upon time for installation. He was on time courteous and knowledgeable. He completed the job in a timely fashion and insured that we understood operation and maintenance. I would highly recommend Garage Owl and Anthony.

Very happy with Tree Stars. Would use them again if needed. The price was very fair. He was very prompt and friendly. He removed some dead trees that were damaged by the hurricane last year. We waited until this year to have them removed. The clean up was excellent would never know there had been palm trees and a bottle bush there before.

This website includes a section to describe the work requested, but contractors don’t have access to those specifics. Consequently I received endless inappropriate phone calls that wasted my time and that of the contractors.

I purchased an item along with install. The installers came and after sitting 1/2 of the time in the pickup due to one of them arriving in t-shirt, shorts and moccasin slippers and it being a little chilly they put 1/3 of it together and then the shorts guy never said a word, just up and left and the other one was a small female that could not do it by herself. I immediately called Angi to get another installer and they had to reschedule it only to cancel it at a later date and reschedule only to cancel AGAIN! This went on for several times before I canceled the whole thing. I had part scattered all over my deck and lawn. I could not send it back due to the fact that they destroyed the boxes! I will never go through Angi again and if I could do a -10 rating I would!

Chad and his partner Josh of ACTR of Mabelvale AR replaced and repaired my tornado damaged back fence and concrete paver patio. The patio was reset with supporting fill dirt, sand and weed retardant. They lined the border of the patio with rocks and added mulch, and replaced the bird bath in a decorative setting. They put in new chain link fencing and support posts and a new gate. They placed top soil and grass seed starter in areas where the yard was damaged by a fallen tree. They were friendly, always on time, and made sure the job was completed to their, and my full satisfaction.

When reviewing Kinsel Trucking & Excavating LLC I was limited to three different company names for the same company, none being correct, which is listed above. Also, I was limited to a single service (Excavation) during the review process--which is not the service they performed. They actually perform a number of services: Sewer, Septic, Water, Trucking, Excavation, Demolition, Land Clearing, Concrete Removal, Basements, and Retaining Walls. They installed a septic treatment system for us.

There seems to be a problem vetting the contractors. No way to sort the difference between local handy people and commercial contractors looking to turn "small potatoes" jobs into marble and granite counter tops completely off the books and outside of the Angi app. I lost 3 days work because of rescheduling and not wanting to be sold a granite countertop. The last contractor arrived at 745pm when they should have arrived at 4pm.

The pro was excellent in every way; kind, patient, thorough and professional. She managed a team that was as efficient as she was. They arrived on time and began working immediately wasting no time. Also, no time wasted on chit chat. All in all a great experience. I would definitely use Magical Touch cleaning again.

Scheduled a "professional" from Angi's to come look at my washer that was not working. They estimated $455 to fix it. I agreed. Technician came today, looked at the washer and tested everything he could and then says he cannot fix it...technician was polite and everything, but he was not a normal appliance service technician...more like a handyman. Technician leaves and I'm charged $455 by Angi. Call to complain and they offer me 50% credit to use for another Angi service...when I complained about that they gave me 50% credited back to my card. So, $257 for a diagnosis of what is wrong with my washing machine...which I probably could have gotten for $75 from a local technician if I called them myself. I will not use Angi ever again and I suggest you do not either.

From the Angi site I selected Fosters Construction & Roofing. It was a great choice. Here is the review that we gave him. Our roof was replaced a few years ago was poorly done which has led to water leaks. Fosters arrived at the appointed time and found our problem. He came back the next morning and repaired it. He was very professional and we will definitely use him again and gladly recommend him to anyone.

BP Glass & Mirror responded quickly to our inquiry, set an appointment, and arrived promptly. After evaluating the project and knowledgeably discussing it, we received a written quote within an hour. A mere 8 days later they called to say the replacement glass was in and scheduled installation, which was accomplished this afternoon. Everything about working with BP glass has been a pleasure. The work was done quickly and efficiently with a quality product, and the cost very reasonable (especially considering that another company had quoted more that 50% more, but then declined the job because they didn’t work on the brand of door we have). I highly recommend Mario and BP Glass & Mirror, and thank Angi for helping us get in touch with them.

Booked an electrician to change motion detector lights outside my house. Put in requirement that electrician needs a ladder about 20'. Took off work. Electrician showed up without a ladder so had to leave. Angi rescheduled him for the following Friday. Took off work again. Electrician never showed up. His phone number is disconnected. Angi obviously does NOT vet the contractors they recommend. Total ripoff service!!!

What a joke. They have cancelled the install of a fan twice. Nothing like planning a day and getting delayed but now twice. I would not recommend them to clean a toilet. I'm going to complain to Lowe's too. That's who contracted them.

Jeff ** is an excellent resource for those wanting the highest quality of work in their homes. Jeff is also extremely trustworthy. We have left him in the care of our home and our dogs without reservation. Our home is a new home requiring many adjustments in all areas relating to handyman work. We intend to ask Jeff to remain with us until all is completed. Other work is not typically that of a handyman. In these atypical areas, Jeff has proven to be an expert in even the most remote of tasks. We are so grateful for Jeff and are proud to recommend him to others.

This company victimizes both consumers and contractors. In addition to spamming the internet with obvious Angi or Home Advisor sites, they mislead consumers via websites that appear to be locally owned, family businesses unrelated to Angi. Small businesses can apparently post what appear to be their own websites (that are invisibly hosted on Angi's servers), but they can't include direct contact/phone information - only a website form. When you fill in the contact form for what you think is the local business, your information is captured by Angi (Home Advisor) and triggers them to throw other contractors at you (i.e., sell your information to these contractors). It is highly deceptive.

While long ago they may have been legitimate, honest, reputable, and helpful those days are long gone with whom ever bought them out. They mislead you, tell you subscribe as a member to their service, get a nice discount on the projects, charge you a fee that auto renews annually and you can cancel at any time. There is absolutely NO WAY to cancel your subscription once you log in, you go to manage membership which is where you would expect to find the place where you can cancel, but there is no option there to cancel. They have employed nefarious business practices such as this to keep you from being able to cancel your membership. Fortunately, I used a disposable temporary credit card to subscribe and then was able to close that card, which is the only way to end their subscription.

I signed up for a cleaning service from Angie's List. The first scheduled group NEVER appeared. I agreed to reschedule the cleaning for several days later and that person/service arrived 2 hours early and by the time I read their message, they were gone from my home. No cleaning service was ever provided. So at that point I called them to report the lack of service and to cancel the cleaning service from them. The first time a charge of $158.72 was eventually refunded, but was RECHARGED 2 weeks later supposedly because I had signed up for a renewing service. However, as far as I knew, I had canceled any service with them at any time.

We are happy with the results of the exterior painting. We would recommend to friends and want to hire Paulo for other work we are considering, kitchen floor Paulo is very polite and professional and got the job done quickly. He has a lot of experience and has good reviews.

Emerson did a phenomenal job, we were on a strict budget and like anything else, you get what you pay for, so we expected a decent job, better than what I could do, at least. Do not use this company. They give costly, bad information. The information they take from you is not given to the professional, so the professional comes out or calls and says they don't do that kind of work. That happened to me yesterday. Then, on another job I requested today, I filled out the online form to have a ceiling fan repaired. I got a call right away from an Angi Representative who told me that a professional service would contact me shortly and provide a free estimate. 5 minutes later I got a text from a professional service. I was told they would come right out and give an estimate. He arrived and looked up at the fan, heard my description of the problem, then told me I owe $90 for the service call. He did no work, just heard my description.

1) Site very hard to give a review. 2) Kept telling me I had wrong email. 3) Took 2 hours to find company I wanted to write review for on your site. 4) When I sign into site, calls me "E", which has nothing to do with me. 5) Horrible, complicated web design. To be clear, I am referring to your site, not the contractor I used. I would give"-0", but your site won't let me.

From start to finish, my family's experience with Comfort Now was exceptional!! Starting with Casey the sales rep who answered our questions about the different options available to us(we utilized utility company rebates and financing) and Chelsea in the office who took care of scheduling. I desperately need assistance and to the point where there is no where else to turn before I take legal action. I submitted a request (**) to Angi to repair a Hunter Douglas Honey Comb custom blind. The dimensions of the blind is approximately 14 ft long by 3 ft wide and every vendor I have contacted has stated this is custom replacement. The repair request submitted to Angi was to take the blind down, restring it, and then reattach the blind. This never happened.

David stated he arrive at a specific time and he arrived at that time. His craftsmanship is very well done. The deck now has a nice sloped edge around the deck. The deck was extended. Another 2 to 3 feet. The corners around the deck the tree stump and the pool are right on. David ** was very professional, very knowledgeable about the project.

Repaired broken mortar on flagstone patio which butts up to deck steps. Beautiful job. It looks like it's all new. Patio had to be pressure washed to remove dirt and mold that had formed in the broken joints. It was a big job but it turned out beautifully. The flagstone and adjoining deck steps are amazing. This company harasses you with calls, I received calls for almost 5 years, and then they convince you with lies about how they proceed, they lie to you and steal your money, I do not recommend it and they never give a satisfactory resolution for the client, only the decisions benefit them economically. They sent me messages at 2 in the morning, and I had not even started my subscription and they charged me, after 3 days they did not want to give me a refund of my money and they charged me for those messages, I lost about $600.00 with them in 3 days.

He contacted me within 10 minutes. He came over right away to give me a quote. Built it in 2 days over a week. Quality is great, he knows what he is doing. He worked with me on a price. He gave me a small discount, and agreed to add screening for a decent price.

They do not vet candidates well...or at all. I filled out a form at the BBB (or at least thought I was at the BBB). Somehow started getting a lot of people who said they got my info on Angie's. Got one candidate with fraudulent license information. The license number they provided was not even in the correct format. With another company I had contact with four individuals. Three of them had civil judgements against them and one has been arrested five times in the last three years. In the future, if anyone tells me they got my name from Angie's, I will show them the door immediately.

Seems like a good idea to get a bunch of bids on a particular job, but do yourself a favor and google the service you are looking for yourself. Google companies in your area. I used "Angi" once and now I'm getting a zillion calls from companies way outside my area and the calls just keep on coming. At this point it's up to 30+ and still going. I've had 10 this morning alone, it's ridiculous. Never use "Angi" again. I I could give them zero stars, I would.

I hired Angi to assembly an office desk. The app and creation of the job was easy. Unfortunately, that was the only thing easy for this job. I arranged to be home for the 2-hour window assigned for assembly (which I agreed upon the time selected). I sat in my house for several hours waiting for the “Pro” as Angi calls them, to arrive. The Pro never showed up. I even texted and attempted to call the Pro. No contact.

Hi, I started a business with Angi Ads at the beginning of last month. At the beginning they (Daniella, and Otto) said me, "Everything will be perfect, you will be able to reach out to us 7x24, etc." I said, "Ok!" I started, and got around 10-15 jobs offer. I called,, messaged and called them again, and again. None of them is neither reachable nor did they return me. Then I quit working with Angi Ads, deleted the app, and tried to reach out to those guys above. It was impossible to reach them. At the end, nearly one month later they reached out to me for my missing payment! This is so unbelievable!

3 different appointments, at their convenience, to comply with our house cleaning request. No show on all of them with no communication as to why they cancelled. Finally attempted to explain that they had no one to take the job. Poor excuse. Should have known ahead of time whether of not they could complete the job. Would have given less than ZERO rating if possible. Will never use or recommend again.

I was very happy with the plumbing work that was done by Mr. Jason ** and would recommend his service to anyone else. He arrived, diagnosed the situation, explained what he say was the problem, showed it to me and explained how to fix it. He then got the parts and materials needed and resolved the plumbing issue.

Chris did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and he is very good at what he does. He was on time every day. He is very hard worker and he cleaned up every day after he was done working. I would definitely use him again in the future. I highly recommend Chris if you need some work done in your home.

The initial online project creation was easy. From that point forward, it was a mess. 15 emails later and I had 1 professional schedule to quote me. I’d get an email saying you have a quote to review and it would just take me to an app that takes too long to load and the end result, “click to receive a quote from another company”. Why not take the information I supplied in the beginning and send it to pros for them to actually quote/contact me. Instead it’s another few steps for the me and in the end, through all those emails, 1 company provided a quote. Angi called everyday sometimes before I was awake. Even after cancelling a project, just opening the app triggered more phone calls. I have not enjoyed the experience.

Best cleaning service ever. I highly recommend using this service, they came on time and they made a great impression on me and my salon. I have clients today that love the new salon smell and they don’t use harsh chemicals. I can’t wait to book with these cleaning company again and you get what you money pays for. The best of the best if you ask me.

Needed a plumber so got in touch with Angi. Handyman comes to house shows up in BMW, a red flag. I ask, "Where your work van?" He says transmission went. So he goes upstairs to bathroom 40 min later comes back downstairs tells me he needed to go get part. The part was 180.00 he says so I cash app him 180.00 and he does not come back. I go upstairs to bathroom take photos sends to a real plumber. He breaks the Diverter so had to get a real plumber. They had to break wall to get to what was left of diverter. STAY AWAY FROM ANGI. And also I never got my 180.00 back.

Floors, bathrooms, counter, more, lots more. Also cleaned yard and tore out and removed. Painted rooms and laid carpet and hardwood flooring. Remodeled entire kitchen and replaced sink and stove and tiled around. Cleaned entire mess and was a blessing to me and my family. He pointed out ways to cut costs and added ideas that I had not thought about. I never really trusted anyone thinking they would inflate the cost. But they were transparent and above board in all their dealings.

I am writing you before filing a complaint with the Indiana Better Business Bureau in hope of resolving this satisfactorily. I had booked a service to have some plumbing work done in my home. When the "serviceman" arrived (1 hour and 40 minutes late), he was driving a personal vehicle with NO identification on it. I asked him who he worked for and he said "Angi". He was wearing no uniform nor did he have any visible identification. I asked him if he was a licensed plumber and he said "no". I immediately called Angi and told them I did not want a non-licensed person performing plumbing work on my home. I asked the Angi representative if I could send him away and they consented.

I was able to find several pros in my area. A few were booked out and couldn't make it to me for a quote for a couple of weeks, but I found someone to come same-day and do the repair same-day. It was a great help. No more leaking roof.

I often just want to check the ratings of certain local providers. It's become difficult to get directly to ratings. I don't want to described a project and get quotes, etc. Frankly, it's quicker to go to Google and Yelp first. This ratings info should be more accessible, especially to subscribers.

Angi had a masonry company contact me for a job I needed done at my home. The guys they gave my contact information to were thieves. They were paid in full, then left without completing the job. Numerous texts and phone calls without response. Took the money and ran. Address on website is bogus. No way to get in touch with them. Tried to get Angi to help with resolution and was given the runaround. Angi does not vet these contractors and customer service reps do not want to escalate. Beware, I am out about $6,500 due to con men they gave my phone number to.

I am an Angi's contractor, for "Angi Services." I can tell you that the entire business model, right down to binding arbitration, is a giant fraud ring. Not one thing, from the acceptance of customer jobs, to the payment of the contractor, is legit. For one, in no event, does Angi get on the phone with its pros. I use "Pros" loosely, because I've seen so many jobs before I arrived that another Angi's pro was there before, messed up the customer job, plumbing, electrical and so on, but never told us, it's really bad. Angi's routinely puts out jobs for pros to take from what's available in your service area. I'd say 90% are jobs, no one will take. For example, $80 to build a shed, even pre-fab, it's a 2-3 person job, worth $600. Another example, putting together grills, hanging TV's (mounting) and putting together furniture, for less than $20.

Igor ** was on time, he had all his tools, done everything with accuracy and perfection, he is a man of his word. Igor did my kitchen backsplash, lighting fixtures in my kitchen and hallway and connected my disposal to the electrical panel. He was neat, and tidy, and cleaned up after.

Excellent work!!! Colin and his crew are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or neighbors and especially family. The price was fair and honest and the work was done professionally and in a timely manner. From the very first call customer service was excellent. I spoke with April and she took excellent care of me and assisted me with scheduling that was convenient to me and the team. Communication was key in the process and I was kept informed every step of the way.

So far so good in identifying professionals for the various home repair jobs. The companies have responded promptly. Would appreciate free estimates from identified companies. It's costly to get estimates from at least 3 companies when most want a fee for estimates on potential work to be done. Would appreciate better pricing, especially for seniors...perhaps offer discounts for seniors.

Prompt, professional and polite. Completed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend them... I will be hiring them again for future projects. Excellent communication. Had no problem when it came to moving and protecting my furniture during the process, and moved it back into place when the job was completed. Price for the project was very reasonable.

This has been an absolute joke. I have been a customer of 4 years and never loved the leads or the volume of leads. When I tried to close my account, I called my "rep" and he never called back. I left Ken ** my personal cell number to call me. When he never called, I spoke to their call center. They claimed his supervisor would call me. He never did. Ken then continues to call my office, which I am never at. He is now sending snarky emails about my "contract" and what it means to close the account. I will now be canceling all my Angi accounts including leads due to the poor customer service and lack of care for the customer.

Angi turn me on to a pro. They came and redid my driveway. Done a great job. I would use these guys again. They are hardworking people, they clean up after the job and made sure I was happy with the job. Great work in a timely manner, please use these guys.

Although I found an excellent painter on Angie's List, the bulk of the respondents didn't know how to respond promptly or be able to give any accurate estimates. It was frustrating to deal with so many who were not trained in being able to respond to customer needs. If there is a way to screen suppliers that would help.

I was contacted many times over a year to join and was promised new leads. In just 1 week noticed a problem promised again that I would be taken care of. 2nd week the same thing. Bad leads and being charged for them. Out of all the leads sent to me I was only able to speak to 3 people with only 1 quote given. Then they stole my money when asked for them not to charge me for non vetted leads. Asked for credit back and that was not even given. No way out of the leads I was given that anyone should be charged. They are stealing from hard working people who trust them to help grow their company. Run away from them as fast as you can.

We had a new service installed. We had new smart lighting installed, and four ceiling fans. He also ran Service out to my shop and install plugged in switches and light. We also had him install landscape lighting. He also installed on the service box a surge protector. We also had new plugs installed outside. He also installed floodlights ground level to show off our trees.

Andreassi Masonry expertly repaired a very badly damaged walkway extending from the sidewalk to our front door. The work was exceptional, particularly because the crew--obviously very skilled!--raised and leveled sections of the walkway that had sunk an inch or two into the ground, so that the entire walkway is now perfectly even. The cost was very fair (at the completion of the work I attempted to pay a little more, but my offer was declined.) My wife and I can affirm from many years of home ownership that Andreassi Masonry work is excellent in every way!!

Service was very very friendly.. explained to her what was needed and a specific time.. JOB WELL DONE.. They were on time, did a spectacular to my surprise.. The price was very affordable and was pleased with the cleaning. I continuously have them on monthly schedule.. so yes I recommend Purus Cleaning due to fact of feeling comfortable and just simply the TRUST of them at my home..

I have used Angi for several projects around my house and with the exception of one, they have all been great. I enjoy the fact that I can find just about any kind of professional I need for the job at hand. The prices are great and the people that I have used, again with the exception of one, I would recommend to my friends and family.

Gas smell and leaking toilet. The plumber came and tightened the toilet bolts in the tank of toilet and at the base, then caulked the base of the toilet, the plumber was very professional and polite, time will tell! I would use them again, very professional. Very polite Thanks A lot.

I never used Angi before and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service. Angi lead me through a simple yet thorough process ensuring I received the desired responses. First response came in within the hour and the respondent proved to be a consummate professional. From submitting my request to completion of the job took less than four hours!

They were great they showed up on time and did the job and cleaned up everything after. I would hire them again for more work. I was planning on having the come clean my house every 2 weeks. I love that they can do anything.

Contractor did what was expected in a timely manner, paid attention to detail and worked in a professional manner. Contractor was here when he was expected and checked with me to make sure everything I was needing on the job was up to my expectations and left the job site clean of any excess debris.

ANGI and HOME ADVISOR are horrible businesses that charge local contractors way too much money, which in turn raises the fees they have to charge you. Contact and get quotes directly from the contractors. Search the web for options. When you sign into Angi, they sell your project, name number, and email to 3-6 contractors who then RACE to contact you. They have already paid $$ for your information. They then need to get more $$$ out of you. Angi walks away with 6x$$ for doing nothing. and 5 contractors are out $$. Boo Hoo that's business you say? Is it good business when the cost of sales for small local contractors ranges from 40-70% of the job? Is it good business when these small contractors fail and all of a sudden you have no choice but to use a large expensive firm or no firm at all? Is it good business when you get inundated with calls and emails?

Clean as feathers. Did an amazing job cleaning my house!! When I got home it felt like a brand new house!! Definitely recommend this team!! The experience is a 5 star. They are very professional!! Cleaned in a decent time manner! No complaints whatsoever. I will be calling them back!!
