Brian was very responsive and delivered on time above and beyond my expectations. He did exactly what he said he would do and finished ahead of schedule. I was very pleased with the quality of his workmanship.

They charge astronomical prices for minimal services. Angie's list claims to provide "Leads" to clients, but many of them don't even exist. After deciding Angie's list wasn't the best fit for my company, I cancelled my membership in January. I was Still charged $344.45 for 3 leads in February After I already cancelled my membership, and didn't even receive. Now they refuse to return my hard earned money. Please beware they scam small business owners.

The technician reviewed the process for preparing the home and water softening system for vacation. He helped me take a video for future use. Excellent assistance as I had previously misunderstood how to shut off the water to the house but maintain water flow to the softener.

I was sent request from the company that did my remodel Angie's has been good. I hope that this advertising company know what they have because they are the best I've I've ever dealt with. And I will continue to do do business with them.

I went on Angie's to get a quote to see how much it would cost to install new backsplash. I received a call from Angie's to schedule the job. I explained to the customer service rep that I would need a quote before scheduling. They offered to come out tomorrow but I still need to get other materials. When I explained that I would have to call back, she hung up on me. I will not use their services based off of this experience.

@ Last year you reworked the website to push sponsored contractors. In doing so you've made it impossible to find individual named contractor info (rather than being happy with whatever sponsored vendors you give me in a search) . And, when one does the "project" thing, you get deluged with phone calls and texts at all hours--woken up in middle of the night. Too bad, the old Angi was for years my go-to for finding home services.

I used Angi Service for my house cleaning couple of months ago. The cleaners did not show up in the morning and my day off at work was wasted. I called Angi's customer service and they apologized for the inconvenience and said they would reschedule for another day. Even, for second time the cleaners did not show up. I called them to cancel the service, but they were apologetic again and promised me that "since this caused so much inconvenience, we will waive the charges and cleaners will clean your house for free". After two months, they quietly charged my credit card for the service and when I spoke with them they straight away lied and said that I will have to pay for cleaning service and they never offered free service. This was very awful. I cannot believe they would lie like this and treat a customer like that. Very pathetic.

The Ladies showed up on time, were very conscious of doing a good job. Cleaned my home beautifully and everything was spotless. Looking forward to their return!! Thanks Ladies. I appreciate you.

I totally recommend Thomas Edison Electric Inc. I had recently purchased a new electric range and realized that the existing stove was hard wired and a new plug must be installed. At 8:30 that evening, I called Thomas Edison and left a message. Within 15 minutes, I received a call from their office and we set up an installation date. I was kept in the loop, and was updated on the time frame, as well as the service person. The electrician was prompt, courteous, professional, and excellent. When the task was completed, the office called and asked how everything went. WOW! Great.

Thanks for your recommendation, really appreciated, our fridge kept on freeze everything up, so Angi recommend few tech for us, and we pick Jose, he did a great job. Fixed after 3 days later. He order the parts, came then stop by, so far it’s working fine, really appreciate his work!

Alexandria and Gwen arrived at 11:22 and started right in. They worked non-stop for 2 1/2 hours, vacuuming, washing walls and shelves, cleaning our home well. They worked hard and earned their pay.

The service performed on my bathtub is excellent. It looks like a brand new tub. The smell wasn’t as bad as I thought and the job was done in a timely manner. Very friendly and respectful young men. I would use them again.

ANGIE'S LIST IS NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE.. At one time this was a dependable source, nowadays please run away from these folks and stick to who you know. A bunch of scamming installers using the app for free leads then waste your time and money. I will never use this service again. Stay away from Angie's List, My house is wide open dealing with these folks, Patio doorless. THEY ARE NOT WHO THEY USE TO BE. RUN>....

I don’t know if this is just in the app version but there used to be an easier way to search specific companies to find their reviews and deals. I had to search for the kind Of work they did and then scroll through pages and pages of results to find the company we used in order to review them. There needs to be an easy to find search option for business names.

Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Project managers and HVAC technicians were prompt, reliable and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Will recommend them to my neighbors, friends and relatives.

This company was awesome! They assessed the issues with the pipes, gave me their recommendation, a quick estimator and performed all of the items listed. Bright Side Plumbing was very friendly & professional. I would recommend them for sure!

While researching a place to repair our stove we were contacted by Angi/Homeadvisor now that they merged. We were excited by their guarantees (not true) and their screaming of contractors (not true). Anyhow, we didn’t get what we paid for two contractors with numerous cancellations and no compensation for the inconvenience caused. Waiting a week and wasted vacation days due to the cancellations with the work not being done! Canceled the membership and hopefully got our money back. Never again. Save your money and avoid the lies. We are understanding people, but if Angi isn’t a fraud, then their screening process needs to be reviewed because the contractors they have us were.

Had patio, firepit and seating installed in backyard. Extremely happy with the service found on Angi. All of the information on the website regarding this particular service was true. There were ample photos and reviews related to previous work completed.

Scope: Installed 40-ft French drain and connected it to existing storm drain and install a 4X80 ft swale (dry creek bed) to direct water flowing down a hill into a drain. In October 2019, Drainage Team installed a 40-foot French drain along the back our house and an 80-ft by 4-ft swale in a bed on the hill behind our house. The French drain was installed to address an occasional problem with water coming up at a specific spot in our basement after very heavy rains. This problem occurred even though there appeared to be a perimeter drainage system in the basement that was connected to sumps. The French drain was piped under our asphalt driveway to a storm drain on the left side of our lot. The outlet of one of our sump pumps was connected to the French drain piping instead of being discharged onto the driveway where it tended to form sheets of ice in the winter.

I paid for assembly service through Walmart and confirmed 7 times for the date and time, no one ever showed up and never received a call about cancellation or anything!!!! I called Angi's customer service and was hung up on and basically told they didn't know why no one showed up. I tried to call them back several times and kept getting hung up on. This is unprofessional to say the least and I will never use this service again and I will spread the word to people who have considered this service!

I like the way they understand what a customer need. Really happy with them. I’ll recommend this company to others to complete their job projects fast, efficient to hit your goal on the future with no problem at all

Excellent installation on 4th floor, 8 windows and 3 sliding doors on Florida coast. PGT dual glazed impact resistant double hung windows, both 3 and 3 panel sliding doors. The entire crew performed efficiently using lift crane to help with install. Crew was thoughtful and careful of community owned grounds. Completed, cleaned and tested with us to make sure we approved install. Pleasant and polite. An excellent experience.

I found a great tile installer through Angi but I did not like the experience of using the website. I much prefer the old system of searching the directors for business in my area and then contacting them directly. The bid I received through Angi was about twice what I ended up paying when I contacted an installer directly, and I did not appreciate getting basically a sales call from Angi following up on the project. Not impressed with the rebranding.

Modernized Exteriors did a fantastic job with my deck reconstruction, gazebo rebuild, and installation of deck lighting! I selected M.E. from four contractors whom I had contacted. M.E. did two things right in that process. First, they did a phone consultation in order to give a ballpark estimate for my deck. They wanted to do a phone consult before coming out, because potential customers may drop their idea once they hear how expensive a project is going to be. M.E. does not send salespeople out to give estimates; the owners come out themselves. They were guarding their time, and I was impressed by that. The second thing they did right in the bid process was they were the only contractor to show me photos of their previous work. There are some outstanding examples that you can see on their website.

Herb was punctual, respectful and well within budget. Doing underfloor work is not liked or easy to do. Herb's interaction with my Elderly Father was stupendous, now my Dad knows Herb is a phone call away.

I recommend this company because they do a great job. I did not have any issue. Everything was excellent and very professional. Also, these workers are very friendly and responsables. They answered my questions very kindly.

Great service, I loved everything about them. I can recommend them to anyone in need of such services. They are a life saver particularly when you don't have the time or the expertise to work on certain tasks.

Overall, the experience with HomeAdvisor list was good. The good: I like that once I submitted my project and Angi representative reached out to discuss the project and offered a flat rate option, which I did not use, I preferred to negotiate the job. The number of pros they recommended was good. My experience has been the pros they recommended was fantastic. The bad: I like to do my research before deciding to begin interviewing the pros, they give out your information to a call center once you give HomeAdvisor your information the phone rings off the hook within seconds.

Most of our painting & handyman projects were performed by Angi's contractors. I have been very satisfied with finding good reliable, reputable companies and would definitely recommend Angi. The best thing about Angi is the peace of mind you receive knowing that the reviews are real and their contractors vetted..

We purchased our home in 1997 and it needed many things done to it. We got scammed once so after that we joined Angie's List and checked out the workmen before hiring. It has really been a wonderful help to find and hire the best. Couldn't do without it. So when we needed these new windows in November 2021, we found a contractor on Angie's list and have been very happy.

I was a new user of Angie's List, and I was so excited! I really needed a great housekeeper to help me out as I am expecting my 2nd child and have been feeling so sick recently. It has been extremely difficult to keep up with the housework. I was told that my first service would be at 15% off ($152 and some change then going forward each service would be $178.00). I received my service but was charged the full price instead of the discount. I called customer service to have it corrected but they said they couldn't and wouldn't honor that discount they offered me. I decided to cancel my remaining services because of this (dishonesty).

He was super fair on pricing as far as I could tell and walked us through everything he did. Very personable and his helper/partner was as well. They replaced the floors of our two bathrooms, put linoleum flooring down like we wanted after taking up ceramic tile, repaired our shower leak, replaced one toilet, cleaned up after the job and asked us to leave an honest review but if we had a problem please let him know so he can make it right. As of now we’ve had no problems.

I was in business with this company back when it was Home Advisor. Since they have merged or were bought out by Angi the service was horrible. They tried to bill me for multiple leads that were completely worthless. I called my rep with the company who told me he would take care of it. After which time they tried to bill me for over a thousand dollars. I called and left multiple messages which were never returned. Called customer service who tried to give me back half of the money. Keeping in mind us contractors pay for the leads and it cost Angi nothing. Was told to just cancel because that's all they were willing to do. Nothing. CONTRACTORS BEWARE!!!! THIS IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY EVEN THOUGH THEY KEEP THE NAME.

Excellent customer service from initial call to scheduling to tech coming out to fix problem! Kept well informed of what was being done to fix problem! And assured if problem comes back tech would come out again to come up with alternative plan

Very good experience, very responsible, very professional, helped us out of a stressful situation, had contact with someone almost immediately, would recommend to anyone, hopefully situations where need good reliable people doesn't occur but if does won't hesitate to go thru Angi's.

The worst experience we ever have had with a business. They take your money, complete the service then disappear. Not to mention the owner and his salesperson Amy are rude and unprofessional. We have never been more compelled to write a review in hopes of warning people. The time, energy and stress the whole experience brought to our family could have been avoided if they ran their business in a professional manner and stood behind their work. Instead we were avoided and treated poorly when all we wanted was our pool fixed.

We had TX Eco-plumbers do annual maintenance on our tankless water heater and fix installation of plumbing performed by another plumber, who didn’t understand what was wrong. TX Eco diagnosed the problem within minutes and fixed it. They took all materials and refuse with them and wore booties on the interior of our home. It was a great experience and very worth the price!

Angi made it impossible for me to manage the project via a personal computer and forced me to use their mobile software application like a peasant. I never wanted to install this application on my telephone in the first place. In particular, project details and photos submitted from my PC would not post. This forced me to use a telephone, which I despise and makes me angry.

I was very pleased overall with this company. They were fair and professional and did an excellent job on my fence. They're a veteran-owned business as well, so that definitely was a selling point with me. Their prices were very competitive and the quality of their work was excellent!

Sent me leads that never pick up phone or respond back to messages. I'd get billed and have to threaten to stop using their site. The account manager promised refunds and I believe them until I checked my credit card statement and never seen a refund. They also say for the inconvenience I would receive free leads but in reality I’ve already paid but on the new leads it shows free in the charge section. But all the so-called free leads never helped reach any customers just a bunch of no response and no answers until the leads are used up and I start getting new ** leads and I immediately called them out on the theft. This company is shady business, all Angie’s department are the same, I’ve tried, they burned me for a lot of money.

Almira arrived on time, I like the fact that she has her own supplies. She had an assistant with her who was eager to start the job. They did an amazing job, beyond my expectations. I plan on having her come back every 2 weeks. I would deft recommend her to family and friends.

Scammers, called and set up a Handyman service to repair my dryer for a couple days later and they had me pay $142 in advance and the day of the guy messaged and said he doesn't service my area. So went on app and canceled on my end as well and I did see a charge back for $142 so thought everything was all said and done. Then about a week later I received another change for $173, called Angi/HomeAdvisor list and discovered that not only did they put me on reoccurring scheduling of services (to be continued to be charged every week) but there was a unknown scheduled appointment that I never agreed on for someone else to come and do my repair but the man lied to them and said he was to my residence and performed services. He must be old as dirt because most as well as myself have cameras in my home!!! Lol!! And I have not yet received my money back!! I will never use Angi/Homeadvisor services again!!

I booked a cleaning crew through Angi's list for the second time. Both times, I received a text message within 15 minutes of the set appointment time that the contractor canceled. The Angi representatives automatically rescheduled without contacting me first. I hired another crew the first time and did not reschedule through Angi's. I closed my account this time and will never do business with them again.

On January 26th 2022 I called my local Roto-Rooter and explained that I had a clogged kitchen drain. The woman I spoke with told me that she could have someone out that afternoon. I made the appointment and inquired about their pricing structure. She said that “it depends on the job.” That afternoon the technician showed up. I showed him the problem and he told me that it would cost $565.00. I was shocked and I freely admit that I agreed to the price since our sink could not be used and had also started to leak due to the standing water. I know I could have told them to leave, but I didn’t (had I known the price to free a clogged drain at the outset I certainly would have shopped around). Less than an hour later the problem was solved.

Service was quoted for $113 and credit was charged for $194.43. Service was not completed on date and time booked but was one day later. Customer service could not cancel the appointment and refused to refund the difference. Spoke with Rofel, Laura, Andrian Genita, Erlyn Siarot, Vignesh. Do not give credit card information without documented confirmation of booking date and time and cost of service.

I was looking for a company to mow my lawn. My regular lawn guy, stop showing up and never called. When I called him, he informed me that his DaD was sick and he wasn’t sure when he’ll be mowing lawns again. In the meantime my grass grew tall and I was desperate to find some company to mow my lawn. B&C responded and came out immediately to mow my lawn.

I’m the Owner of a Franchised in home service company, therefore I’m tied to a certain service area. After being very concise about what zip codes I could service I was assured Angi had fixed the issues from the previous contract. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and renewed. The problems were never addressed and they auto renewed the contract when it was explicitly made clear the contract was not to be auto renewed. The only leads I received from Angi were out of my service area and I had to turn them over to the other franchises. They do not check in with their customers to ensure things are going well, the only contact numbers you can find online are for their sales department. It’s a buyer beware this place is not worth the money!!!!

Spoke with account executive, Kelly** to cancel membership in December. Kelly was out due to her sister's death. I stated to Kelly I understood as my daughter had been killed in a car accident in April. I stated 1.) I was using other lead services and Angi simply wasn't producing. 2.) I was taking time off because my daughter's death. Kelly said they could not suspend the service so I said just cancel. I went to bank to contest charge. Going to bank again tomorrow to contest this recent charge of almost $600 which I did not authorize.

Shower valve/faucet needed replacement and kitchen sink faucet also needed replacement. My only concern is Choice Warranty doesn't employ anybody to approve the plumber's work estimate after 3 pm Pacific time. Choice Warranty is in New Jersey and work on Eastern time. Which means the plumber may not be able to do the work initially and you will be rescheduled for another day and time to start and complete the work after they get the approval from Choice Warranty. This just happened to me. The plumber did finally get the jobs done and I'm happy with the finished products. It was OSP. (One Source Plumbing) Very good attitude and workmanship by Jeromy.

Highly experienced and meticulous painter. Very reliable and easy to work with. Accomplished job a bit sooner than expected, returning the house to the state it was in when he arrived. New colors totally improve the house. No drips, clean lines between walls and ceilings. I will work with him again on other projects. Very reasonably priced.

From the meeting for the original quote with Justin until the completion of the blown in insulation job, everything went completely as expected and to our satisfaction. Mason and Joaquin took their time and made sure we received the best job possible! I recommend Standard Insulating for your insulation needs! Already recommended them to my neighbor.

Like many, I searched online including Angie's List, when I needed some home repairs. Normally I just work directly with the contractors, and things are fine. This time Angie's List offered a fixed price for the job, with a $100 discount if I become a Key member at $25/yr and knowing that I had other upcoming projects, I signed up. The carpentry job revealed additional work that was needed, which I approved. However, I found out from the carpenter that he was paid only ~20% of the fee I paid towards the job, leaving me to pay *alot* more than expected. Angie's List uses a limited questionnaire that inadequately describes the project, leaving it open to being underbid and mis-leading. Don't sign up for the fixed priced offer from Angi's.

I contacted Angi to find an appropriate house cleaning solution. The agent said they could provide 5 local contacts and said the service providers would be in touch. However, they offered me the opportunity to skip all that and simply contract with Angi. I agreed to try a single cleaning and would enter into scheduled, ongoing cleaning if I was satisfied. My appointment was scheduled. Shortly after, I received several curt, insistent text messages from local cleaners demanding I change my day and time to fit their schedules. I called these people back and found them to be disgruntled contractors to Angi, who paid a fee of approximately $60 every time Angi sent them a potential customer's contact info. All of them were completely surprised and angry to learn that Angi had already contracted with me.

Stay far far away. Do not give them your credit card information if there is any chance you will need to reschedule, even during the time when it is either free or costs $15 to reschedule. Angi.com scammed me out of over $1000…and I never even received a service from them. I signed up for a service, needed to reschedule the day before, and should have been charged one $15 change fee per their own terms of service, plus a $19.99 Angi membership fee I agreed to. Instead they charged me two $15 change fees, plus two reoccurring charges of over $500 (both including the Angi membership fee) on the day I logged in to Angi.com to reschedule, one for the original scheduled day, and the other for the day I had rescheduled for.

Have been with Angie's List for over 20 years and find the new website difficult to use. When I log in to the format that is similar to what I am use to, I no longer am able to find a company by name to see what kind of reviews they have. I always like to see a complete list of who does the work and then choose the one I want not have a bunch of companies continue to call me when I didn't ask them to and don't know anything about them. Again, as stated above, I can find them by name when I try to find them on the list. After finding and using a company, it was difficult to find them listed again so that I could write a review. AGAIN could not find them by typing in their name in search.

I signed up for their services because they claimed that my project would be completed by their Certified Professionals. This did not happen. The Angi Pro took my Deposit and disappeared!! I gave this contractor a Cashier Check for $13,000+ as a deposit for the work. No materials were delivered; the work was never started, and the Contractor stopped returning my calls/emails/text messages. Angi tried to call the company; but after waiting 5 days for the Contractor to respond; they gave up. I was Misled into paying for this service believing that Angi would be responsible for the people they certified. In reality, Angi’s services amounted to the same as taking my chances with a phonebook. Please don’t waste time and money on Angi or Home Advisor. You’re not getting what you think you’re paying for.

Very good experience. Would hire and use Walston Plumbing again and will look on Angi again for my next professional that I need next time!! Very good experience with professional service and workers did a good job and were responsive and on time!!

Great company!! Stuart was referred to me by family and was great to deal with!! Price was lower than any other company in town! They came out. Replaced roof in one day and did an amazing job with the clean up! My insurance company even commented on how nice of a job they did on the roof! Would definitely recommend them!!!

I used Angi one time for a house cleaning. The charge was paid with my credit card. Cleaning was fine. After that one time I paid my cleaner directly myself because she said there's always problems with Angi. I was charged for a cleaning on 12/26/2021 when I wasn't even home and Angi took the charge from my credit info they had saved. I contacted them to remove the charge and remove my info from their databanks. They refused and lied to Discover that the service was done, so Discover paid them. Stay far away from Angi.

We have been members with Angie’s List for many years. It’s where we go to see reviews by customers who have experience with a variety of contractors. Lawn and landscaping, painting, interior design, roofing, plumbing. I’m sure there’s more but we appreciate the high number of reviews and the grading system so we don’t hire a dud.

I went to Angie's List to locate someone to repair my sprinkler system. There was only one person that quickly responded to my request and that was Danny from Basin Groundwater. I have been burned from contractors in the past from the Flower Mound area, so I was reluctant at first but Danny delivered all that I requested in a timely manner and at a competitive price. I cannot say enough about Danny, he is truly an individual I will use in the future. He did an absolutely great job while watching his work area and cleaned up all debris while carrying it away. Danny clearly knows Customer Satisfaction.

Ozzie did a variety of projects. Everything was done expertly. And, he is courteous and friendly. One day he even brought lunch for us. He saved me money on plumbing repair, he wail did work a plumber said would cost $1600.

Marc C. came out and spent 2 hours looking over my existing insulation and made suggestions on upgrading my current attic insulation. He was very informative and answered all my questions. Marc approach of educating myself, a potential customer and no pressure to make a decision is one of the biggest reasons I selected Standard Insulating. The crew came out exactly on time, 7:30 am and done within 3 hours per estimated by Marc. Very clean work crew and left my home as clean as when they arrived. I would use Standard Insulating company again in the future.

I scheduled a service today and got an appt for Monday. They requested a credit card in case I cancelled unexpectedly. Told I would not be charged until service provided. Confirmation came to my email in the name of David ** from Bethesda, MD. Several calls to Angi Customer service revealed I had cancelled my apt. I also had no record of an account. No one could tell where my bank information went. Contacted my bank and there was already a charge on my card that was coded as “recurring“ so it would go through even though it was locked. My bank took this off.

Hired Eduardo to repair 2 wrought iron gates. He did not show up on the scheduled date but showed up 2 days later on 11/27/21. Re-attached gate on wall, however I had to supervise and supply cement sealant. Loosened the bolts on the double gate which allowed it to close smoothly with the adjacent gate. The gate closed correctly for 3 weeks and then it became misaligned and is now even worse than before. He said his work was guaranteed and to call if I had any problems. He is now MIA, phone no longer accepting calls (310) 817-9202 and does not return emails. Angie said they could help however I had to become a member at $29.99/mo. Do not use Angie's List or Eduardo Handyman Service. Unprofessional and only protect members who are scam artists rather than consumer.

Shawn was on time, very understanding of my concerns about everything that was wrong, explained every step of the way, what he was doing, why he was doing it and why. It is an older house but he knew exactly how to work on it which I had worried about before I called anyone. He was very professional and when he was done he again reviewed everything he had done in a way I could understand. He left the house in the way he had found it.

I contacted Angi to have a fence installed in my yard. I was contacted by a local fence company, which in actuality was a guy that worked at a fence company and did this on the side. He came out, we discussed my project and I paid for materials. He then made a whole bunch of excuses that he didn’t have the money because his wife locked up his funds. He had a whole litany of reasons for where the down payment went. I contacted customer service and they tried to get him to refund the money. Once that process failed, they farmed it out to a third party mediator, who was also unsuccessful. That part makes no sense. If I couldn’t get a refund how were the other two going to get it.

This was a wonderful stress free experience…The workers were knowledgeable and had my system running better than ever…Cost was very reasonable. I will be using Angi for reference to any services needed in the future.

Real fast service, I approved the estimate and the garage door was installed two days later. I ordered windows in the garage door and the windows that were installed are much nicer than I thought they would be. Good company, good product, good service.

Angi system glitches cost me over $100 from double booking for cleaning services. I booked a good cleaning service from Angi for a move out December 22, 2021 and had 4 people contact me even after I confirmed with Angi I booked an agency. I had to tell Angi representatives to remove my name from the call list. I was then contacted another Angi recommended cleaning service provider about my old address. She and I agreed she could come clean my NEW house January 8, 2022. Not the old house I lived in.

I work for Angi and they basically stole my money money by sending $600.00 dollars of unknown/unwanted leads. They also do not do any great background check. I will never work for them again or ever hire someone working for them. Star rating -5.

I had been a client of Home Advisor since 2017. Recently they have been bought out by Angie's List. I primarily used their service to help generate leads for my remodeling company. To date, I had earned over 25+ 5 star reviews and "Preferred Contractor" status in a large city demographic. I had 1 dissatisfied client in 5 years and because they couldn't reach me over the one vacation a year I take and don't schedule work, i.e. Christmas through the new year 2022. A lady by the name of Kelly ** unilaterally made a decision to terminate my account and they have refused to acknowledge or even hear my side of the story. I was tried, judged, and sentenced without a word of defense to the actual events of what happened with this crabby client. I have spent over 12 hrs on the phone working to rectify this situation and have been spun in circles as no one there knows what to do or has even the slightest pulse or authority to do anything.

The real Estate agent that assisted me was Melissa **. She did an excellent job. I highly recommend her. I have bought and or sold 15 houses in the last 45 years. Melissa is the best real estate agent that I worked with.

A very precise company, all work was accurate, clean, quick and professional, on time and on schedule. All was done as promised with respect and courtesy. The clean-up was perfect just like the original product. Would definitely recommend this company for their expert work.

CertaPro was so great. Sebastian is the best. Very personable and patient. I kept adding to the job and he quickly got back with me and provided what it would cost. Silvia headed the job and worked diligently and had her crew there to finish the job in a timely manner. It was a big job. Whole house including ceiling and base boards. Added the ceiling and base boards. I worked with a color specialist, Ana. She helped me decide on the right grey. Which was tough! It was an amazing experience. I trusted implicitly as well. Great experience and team.

Not sure if you use/have used Angi. Angi created fake projects on my account and contacted contractors on my behalf without my knowledge/consent. This is a form of identity theft (the goal was to get referral compensation in case I went forward with any of the work). Check your account and report any suspicious activity to the FTC's Consumer Protection division.

Since HomeAdvisor bought Angie's List and changed it to Angi the online experience is confusing and the phone operators are difficult to communicate with. Also the number of emails from Angi is overwhelming despite my resetting my preferences to stop texts and emails after every bid request. Angie's List was far better in this regard. Angi needs to step up their platform for both the consumers and the professional service provider clients.

I signed up, they were fast to get deal done, took money from me that day, didn’t tell me and no one walked me through on how to use or work the site. 1 month goes by I didn’t get 1 job from it or go on any estimates. I get a bill for I think it was 50 leads I didn’t talk to at all. They charged me for them. They will scam you. Stay away. Better off getting your own work

I got to Angie's List from a Google search, looking for Tree Service. Glad I did. Angie requires all services listed on the site to have the proper licenses, permits, insurance, and workman's comp in place before listing.

Angi is a site that's free for consumers, but costs the contractors who advertise there a LOT of money. When someone inquires about a service, Angi farms out the lead to several professionals. Many of the leads we receive are looking for different services, have bad contact information, or want something simple like a microwave removed (and we paid up to $40 to talk to them). The worst part is that Angi actually purchased Google AdWords offering our services for free, so many of the leads we get are expecting free service. When you search Free Junk Removal (our industry) Angi is the top with "pickup junk for free".

Coming back from vacation and having my house completely sanitized and cleaned in the outside was amazing. I’ll be hiring them again for sure. They are professionals knowing what they doing. Couldn’t have done better myself.

Duane's Remodeling was reasonably priced. The team had a vast knowledge of remodeling techniques for plumbing, drywalling, electrical and more. They were punctual and showed up everyday until the job was done. We very VERY satisfied with the work they completed!

Montgomery Shade & Awning for my awning. Mr. Montgomery did a great job replacing the awning material due to hail damage!! Dream Homes replaced my roof & siding due to hail damage. Highly recommend both companies.

Repair completed quickly and under warranty. Two-zone split system. It would have been excellent if the tech had reestablished zoning designations and functionality to the thermostat. That part was left for home owner to attempt/do.

Was disappointed in the small number of options provided. One, which called me and was very honest and said his company didn't even provide stucco services. Not sure how that happened as Angie's List is the one that is matching up the professionals to the job that is requested, and we clearly requested stucco work. We did however make a connection with California State Plastering company through Angie's list and that is the company we hired, and they did a great job.

Steve ** did an outstanding job on our bathroom remodel. He updated a 28-year old bathroom from scratch. Everything was carefully planned --- plumbing, electrical, fixtures, tile work. He coordinated our visits with suppliers of fixtures etc. so that we knew who we were dealing with as well as delivery schedules. We are extremely happy with the finished product. Steve and his team arrived early each day and cleaned up at the end of the day.

I had multiple projects to complete with short deadlines; however, with the help of Angi, I was able to complete all jobs on schedule. I tried to find professionals on my own, but it was a total disaster. It is nice knowing Angi stands behind its professionals by providing a “Happiness Guarantee” limited warranty. I only use Angi for all my projects and repairs.

Did a general search on Angie's List...got overly aggressive emails and phone calls, even though I had decided not to use Angie's List based on bad reviews. Kept getting bombarded with emails & phone calls. Politely asked them to stop. Spoke to a supervisor who argued with me saying that they had the right to send as many sales pitches as they'd like. Ended up sending complaint emails to their CEO and upper management, including Angie Hicks, herself. They had the gall to never respond, but they just kept sending aggressive sales pitches. Still getting the unwanted sales pitches. Would I do business with Angie's List (now called Angi List)??? Not in a million years!!!

Very professional, kind and courteous, neat and clean, informative and knowledgeable. Punctual and diligent about completion of jobs. Respectful and very conscientious. But I always could find time for a little humor and laughter to brighten up your day.

I had a long span of fence that moved when the wind was high. I feared it would eventually suffer damage so I had JC Fencing reinforce the span with additional posts. An excellent repair was performed as well as gate repair that wasn't closing properly. I will have them back.

Easy to use, except you have to say that you cannot write a review, or get help unless you are logged in. You have to warn a user of this site, that there are some people that are trying to get on your list of Pros that may call and these do not have a rating yet. (This happened to me with a contractor named Dale ** and I totally regret going with him!)

If you are business and you are thinking this company would be great to get leads for a not too big up front cost and then only have to pay for the leads you use; think again. My husband and I own a flooring business and we had been contacted/badgered over about a years time from an Angi leads (formerly Home Advisor and Angie's list) sales rep. He promised that the $300 was a lifetime membership with this company and that we would get several leads a day in our area and IF we chose to use them we would be charged a small fee. All of this ended up not being true. The $300 membership to this ** company yielded no benefits and several times a month we were charged anywhere from $30 to almost $70 for nothing. We have not got one good lead from them.

Aaron and Blayne were amazing! They were incredibly professional and clearly skilled electricians. They were hired to install ceiling mounted LED lights in the living room, kitchen, dining area, and bedroom. There were no lights anywhere other than in the kitchen prior to their arrival so they had to measure, drill, run wire, mount electrical boxes and wire molds (concrete ceilings), and finally the light fixtures. They also ran wire and mounted cable boxes. They also mounted a large TV and shelves accessories. Their work is clean, precise and high quality. They took their time to ensure they did their best work. They had a great spirit, communicated effectively, explained what they were doing and seemed to genuinely care. I have nothing but praise for Expert Wire's Aaron and Blayne. I will use them again in the future and will recommend the company to my friends and property management company. Thank you!

Old water heater crashed on Monday, Contact with RiteWay on Tuesday. New unit replaced on Wednesday. Excellent workmanship by professionals. Professional in every way. Could not recommend more highly.

We've used Angie's List in the past as we've moved often & needed reliable workmen. However, this time was a terrible experience. As soon as I checked into possible resources, my phone started ringing off the hook. The responses were often from companies hours away. I only deal with local companies. As a result, I will not contact Angie's list again.

Complete clean-up after total apartment renovation. Tile floors, new kitchen, bathrooms. Dust Busters crew of 3 were prompt, efficient and professional. In addition, they were accomodating to additional requests as they arose.

G & R Sasaguchi cleaned our area rugs with steam. We have 2 dogs so the rugs had significant grime and stains. Ken did a fantastic job getting the rugs clean. The rugs were brighter and vibrant in color. Ken used powerful fans to dry the underside of the rugs. By evening, we were able to re-install the rugs. We are thoroughly satisfied and pleased with their work method and ethic.

I searched for roofing repair on Angi and was given a couple of businesses immediately and then more later. Called ROI R&R LLC and repairs were completed within a week. Quick response from both Angi and ROI. Completely satisfied with service!

We received excellent quality service from Dolatch Inc (Reza and team). They did not take shortcuts and always made sure all actions were up to code. Our main house had Tile work, bathroom remodel, sheetrock finishing, baseboards, crown molding, painting, refinished front door. Any questions or requests were addressed and always met with a friendly quality follow-up.

Greg explained the whole process very well before work began. The workers were very professional and did excellent work, they finished the job on time and cleaned the whole floor so there was no mess left before leaving.

I am very satisfied with the Aftermath Restoration Company that Angi's List provided me via my email address. Thumbs up to Angi's recommended businesses that I interviewed and finally, decided to hire. I will also recommend to friends and family Angi's List for house improvement services because the businesses that are in Angi's Listings are reliable and insured.

I put my request online around 11 pm and had two phone responses the next morning at 8 am and 10 am. Nelson from N&M was the second caller and he was available to assess the job that day. He gave me a quote, we agreed on a price, a date for the job, the job was completed as scheduled, and I am very satisfied with the service.

Angi has become a platform for complainers. They don't know if the reviews are honest reviews or not; they post them anyway. Now I understand why Angie's List went underwater and this platform won't be far behind. Changing your name won't give you a good reputation.

The housekeeper has cleaned our house twice. At both visits she did an excellent job. She showed a lot of detail to her work. My house smelled so good. I was very please both times. Yes I would recommend highly for her to clean.

I subscribed to Angi to book a cleaning service with a discount code they offered. I booked a cleaning for 11/24/21, and it was confirmed. Late on 11/23, Angi notified me that the appointment had been magically rescheduled for 12/22, a date I didn't want and didn't agree to. I emailed their customer support, where Ahmad confirmed that he canceled my 12/22 cleaning appointment and my subscription.

I just wanted some quotes for snow removal. Got some really flaky responses, and frankly way to many. But what really makes me mad is that all of a sudden I am getting things - product emails, etc., for things related to snow removal. For example, deicer that is certified for use on runways, etc. I know this came from Angi. Do not sign up with them unless you have an email you want to burn. And frankly, any company that does this is not worth your trust. This is, as far as I am concerned a direct violation of my privacy. WIll not happen again, please spread the word that we have a very unscrupulous company out there selling contact information. Shame on you Angi. Done with you!

These people just take your money and don't provide what they promise. They sell their leads to 10 different people and most of them are lousy leads. Cold ones. Their app is the worse. You can't ever log in when you need to. Their customer service is the worse.

I needed my dryer repaired. I tried to contact Angie's List. I spent way too much time filling out the form, quit, and found my own repair person using google reviews. Then for days, I kept getting calls from repair people. It was annoying. I thought I was the one who got to choose my repair person. I didn't appreciate being spammed by Angie's List people. Never again.

Each time we have moved into a new area and bought a new home, I have turned to Angi's List to find local contractors with which I can work, and I have never been let down by any of them. A good review on Angi is an excellent screening tool for me to find new people.

I have been scammed by Angie's List from the the beginning. I was told that all the leads are real. Well all the leads are 99% scam. They don’t even want quotes. All they ask for is your credit card number, and then tell you that they will pay before you start. The app doesn’t work. I tried to cancel my subscription, they said they did. Still took money from me after. Till this day they are still taking money. It’s been 6 months. They have taken a total of $1,800 from me and I haven’t had not even one project since I been with them.. Scam scam scam.

I have used this handyman man times. Today, he added shower stall hand rails affixed through granite tiles. He did a very good job. I always think of Steven first. Other jobs included painting, new coded locks, new doors. My favorite was a new deck surface with artificial wood. It is beautiful

We signed almost a $10,000 contract for a year for a lead service. We were told on the contract we would average between 104 and 175 leads every 3 months. Well we were with them for almost 7 months and we had 87 leads! And more than 50% of those leads didn't follow up with us after we contacted them. When I tried to discuss this with them they told me "There is never a guarantee with any advertising." Seriously, this is your answer? So they can just scam people and say oh sorry. We would have gotten better use from our investment if we threw the money at strangers in the street and asked them to refer us to their friends.

I was trying to get ahold of an account manager for Angi Leads. I received a phone call from Logan with Angi ADS. (Didn’t know there was a difference at the time) He was rushing me to sign a contract with him and any questions I would ask he would give me a fairly generic response but that once the account manager had all the information, we could make sure everything was correct. About 30 mins after signing the contract, the account manager for Angi LEADS called me back and told me they are completely different. Ok, so when I told Logan I was looking for Leads, he just mislead me into believing I was setting up my account for LEADS. I quickly try calling Logan back and he was in a meeting, then he was at lunch, he was on a phone call, etc etc.

Overall, Angi is a very useful service, especially if you want to check reviews of contractors ahead of time because you don't have a recommendation or referral. That said, I find the strong push to download the app a bit off-putting, as I prefer to do my project planning from my laptop so I can toggle between multiple tabs. I understand that everyone wants people to use their apps, but making it a requirement to get quotes/contacts (at least initially) really turned me off the service and I went to other options like Yelp instead.

Our business leads with this company came from all over the place, even 4 hours away, and one local lead we even received from the name and address of a 6-year-old boy. We were charged for these leads, sometimes refunded, and I tried for months and hours on the phone to make this lead system work for me since I love the concept, but multiple agents were unable to solve the problems. I cancelled my membership on November 11, 2019 and have new charges in November 2021! They have documentation of our cancellation, but are still only offering us an in-house credit. We cannot use their in-house credit for the same reasons we cancelled our membership. This company has low standards of customer service and uses unethical business practices.

I have left reviews and they get removed or Angie's emails me asking for historical proof of who I am, my addresses and email accounts. It is very invasive and not appealing to leave a review at all when I get this type of treatment

Had been searching for a good deal and high recommendation for an interior painter. Angi gave me several good options and the service was great! I will be using Angi again and recommend this service to everyone.

I wanted a window replaced after it was damaged. When Statewide came to my home to discuss their options, I was very impressed with Charles (can't recall last name!!). I was sold because the price was decent. I made an initial deposit when measurements were taken. And paid the rest when they were installed. I can't say enough about the company's work. I can see through my windows so clearly. And to open/close them is so easy. I will make another order when funding permits!

Angi made it possible to find a reliable service provider to replace my air conditioner and broken furnace. I found what I needed quickly and easily. The ratings on Angi correlate to my experience with the service provider I hired.

I had an excellent experience with Angi searching for rain gutter repair and replacement. The choices provided by the service were local, professional, certified and bonded, and they were highly rated. Go Gutters' support staff reached out to me, their estimate was accurate and reasonable, and the work they did (complete gutter replacement and filtration) was outstanding.

I have been an Angie's list member for decades, but the new format is unfamiliar to me. I am not comfortable handing over the entire process of getting bids to someone else, nor with bids being submitted sight-unseen, nor with having to describe the work I want done when what I need is advice on what work needs to get done, and the app was even worse than the online interface. Then was the barrage of follow-up texts and emails. Considering cancelling membership.

I can not be more pleased with the work Derrick and his crew did for me. They arrived on time and did not leave until the job was finished. The flooring is absolutely beautiful and the professionalism displayed over the project was outstanding. I can not rate any higher than 5 stars but, if I could, I would give Derrick 10 stars.

I used to use Angie’s List all the. The search function and user reviews were awesome. The providers I hired were always excellent. But the service has changed for the worse. New “think for you” technologically makes it hard to just search for vendors and reviews. They try to search for you, recommend limited vendor lists (the vendors presumably pay them for this) and force you to seek multiple bids from vendors they choose. I completely DISLIKE it and never use it anymore, except to leave good reviews when a vendor I have used asks me to. What a shame to see such a useful service so totally destroyed.

I like Angi as a resource for finding individuals/companies that have been 'screened', etc. They need to perform one function: Provide a concise list of people/companies to do the desired work. As it is currently, as soon as you submit a 'project', you will get PUMMELED with endless HARASSING SPAM e-mails. There should be, at a minimum, a check-box on the initial submission page to 'OPT OUT' of any e-mail that doesn't specifically pertain to your request.

Used Angi list to obtain a pro and received an amateur, who salt spent 5+ hours trying to install storm door. I had to release him before he did anymore damage and worked into dinner time. I paid for door and materials and still have to hire someone to fix the door. Not satisfied and Angi list has no intention of making it right.

This application is so user friendly and easy to use. I really wish everything thing was so easy to do. I can only hope that this information helps you get as much information as possible to continue good services.

I put the info in for what I was looking for and got calls within minutes. Found the right person quickly, and he came on time, was professional, did a great job and the price felt like it matched the work I needed done.

Hawkeye was set to deliver my kitchen cabinets on October 3, 2021. Upon delivery, a cabinet was scratched as they tried to force it through my door. My contractor offered to remove the door so that the item could fit through with ease. The delivery guys declined. As they were pushing the item through we heard some scraping and inspected the cabinet. There was visible scratching on the item and it was refused and returned because of the damage. I then ordered a replacement and paid an additional $165.42 to the company that makes the cabinetry just to make ensure that upon receipt of the replacements I would have two separate cabinets rather than the one that was a tight fit.

I always search for service providers through Angi. I know they have been thoroughly vetted and are trustworthy. The providers do an excellent job especially after I tell them that I found them on Angie’s List. My review as a customer is very important to them.

I signed up, paid 288.00 for the year, got two wrong service referrals. When I called to cancel the service, not only was I told that I could not get a refund, only had them for one week but I also had to pay for the bad referrals they wrongly sent me, a total scam, not worth the money. I paid $5.00 to advertise on Craigslist and picked up two jobs in two days, do not use Angie's List.

I had a discount coupon for Angi Leads from one of our manufacturers, so I thought I would try it. I had been a member before they went to the per lead cost, The customer would select a contractor and call us. With the leads, the contractor makes the contact call. That's not ideal, but ok, I was lead to believe we would only pay for the leads we selected, nope, you are charged for EVERY lead they send you, Some were for work we do not even do. But we are charged, I am a roofing contractor, we no longer do two story or above, no more commercial work, I told them that when I signed up. We are just trying to keep the single family, single story homes work flow going.

I am very frustrated with using Angi app. One is unable to type in the name that they might already have in order to get a quick and easy check of a review. Way too much time is spent navigating through the app answering questions that are not relevant when you don’t want something immediately or contact From 4 to 5 companies which always happens next I wanted to write a review about a company and nowhere can I find Where to write it -I had to go through Safari. I have spent 45 minutes trying to find out where I could write a review for a company I was very happy with.

The job was done with professionalism. The technician (Juan **) came exactly on time as promised. He made his magic and also left the Control Valve Box in perfect and neat condition. I would definitely recommend him to friends who need the same kind of service.

Tree Masters did an excellent job of removing a large tree in my yard. The tree was very near my house and the team worked very methodically and carefully so as not to cause any damage. I was very pleased with the work they did and would not hesitate to use them again.

I hired a "trusted pro" to replace a few light fixtures in my house. The "pro" was scheduled for 9:00am. I received a text saying that she wouldn't be there, but she was sending another pro at noon. The other person, who I have no contractual relationship with, spent 3 hours attempting to install fixtures. One is hanging out of the ceiling and the one in the living room was not done at all. He asked my wife if she knew how to install the tract lighting. He said he would come back the next day and finish. The next day was a no show. I will need to hire another electrician to review and finish his work. I am researching now how to not pay the "Anji" pro.

They don’t deserve any stars but I can’t post with 0 stars! I booked a service with them but had to cancel altogether. I sent them an email stating the need to cancel and that I would be in touch at a later date if my situation changed. They sent a confirmation email. A month later I get an email stating my project pro will be arriving at 3:00pm on 11/25 (Thanksgiving Day) and at the same time I received a notice from my bank of a withdrawal for $626.50. I was also told I had recurring services scheduled. I never set these up, I canceled the project.

I cannot say enough positive things about Structure Builders! I had an incredibly life changing event resulting from a 12Ft Uhaul driving into my 50 year old brick house. The experience with Angi was great, the technician that performed the job was very professional and very aware of my need to have the job done that day. He went the extra mile to contact a technician to repair the circuit board, wait for it, bring it back and install it. I was very pleased with his performance.

Angi hooked me up with a terrific sweep right away. I have been putting the cleaning off for way too long due to vague quotes and attempted high priced unnecessary add-ons in the past. Chimney sweeps are tough to hire as so many focus on upselling.

Getting estimates from valid companies was a problem. Out of five\supposed companies only two contacted me. One of those apparently was a arborist wannabe. The only review Angi had on him was as a house painter. In checking this individual out BBB never hear of him. I could find no validation of a business location. I frankly think he is college student trying to make money any way he can. However cutting down large trees is very dangerous without equipment or skills. I had only one actual estmate thru Angi which is the company I hired Big Swing.. There was one other estimate from another source.

Angi is a total rip off. No contact to confirm anyone even received my request for lawn service. Some guy shows up unprepared at my door with no contact with me AFTER I HAD SOMEONE ELSE COMPLETE THE SERVICE. Angi then charged me $424 for nothing. Scam. Thieves.

I just needed a couple of things done, mopping floors, sweeping, cleaning the restroom in the kitchen and all man it looks amazing. I would definitely hire her again. I’m thinking about making her my new cleaning lady.. Done.

Don't use. They are a scam. Angi the new Angi List.... My company used their service for only a week and tried to cancel after three weeks of wait for a customer rep to call me.. They told me they would start sending lead but that was a lie. They give leads to 20 different contractors at 15 to 25 dollars a lead.. You do the math... And yes I asked the first rep can I cancel at any time, he said yes... That was a lie... So now I see they hire people to lie to you to get you trapped in a contract... SCAMMER ALERT

Searched for power washer service near me. Received multiple responses immediately. Was able to compare multiple bids to make an educated decision. The company I chose through Angi was very reputable and very professional. Will definitely use Angi again if needed for other services

We are a Heating and Air Conditioning company that has been receiving harassing calls from Angi.com. We receive multiple calls a week and each time we request they take us off their call list. Over the past couple of days, their employee Erin ** has resorted to calling multiple times per day claiming she wasn't the one that called earlier (everyone at Angi.com is named Erin?). Today she has resorted to calling our office, giggling... then hanging up. If you are a service related company, I would strongly urge you to stay away from Angi.com.

I would Definitely recommend Angelic Angels LLC. Their service is awesome. I love how they respond in a timely manner. Found a service I can depend on. I have them come out every two weeks and I’m always very satisfied with my service.

I strongly recommend Cohen Restoration to anyone needing mold remediation and reconstruction work. Both Moshe and Liore Cohen personally inspected the damage and immediately gave me a step-by-step description of what needed to be done and how much each step would cost. Moshe then provided me with a written cost estimate that provide far more detail than any of the estimates provided by other companies. Moshe gave personal attention to the project either by working along side his crew or inspecting their work on a daily basis. The final results were far better than I had expected and the initial cost estimate proved accurate. I cannot say it enough. If you need mold remediation and reconstruction work your first call should be to Cohen Restoration.

They returned our request almost immediately and were very easy to work with. They made a quote based on pictures we texted them and completed the work for us the next day. It was a great experience!

Oct 21 cancelled a scheduled gutter cleaning and told Angi to stop the scheduled cleanings until I told them to start again. Was able to get my money back, after spending 30 minutes on the phone. Nov 21 I get billed $241 after telling the contractor (who called me the day before) to not show up, as I didn't need the cleaning. Turns out this time all I can get is half of the $241 back, because I missed a text (from UNKNOWN NUMBER--I usually don't open those) and didn't cancel in time. They will bill your account without a call, text, or email. Beware.

Removed an old cabinet for me and delivered a 65 gallon fish tank about 7 miles distance. He also carried it to the second floor apartment up the steps. Very polite and professional. I would use the company again and I have recommended them to my sister for a small move.

Matt was the only one and first one to reply to my search for service. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He went beyond my expectations, by blowing off the leaves from my sidewalk out front because of a potential slip hazard. We discussed the possibility of future tree work to be done. It started out wonderfully. Had a really helpful nice young women call me and get me 3 estimates. I decided on standing seam metal roof black. She took a deposit for the job. I went to get financing. Called her back. Told her we are ready. She said great, she would call me. She did only to tell me she got a promotion and that Josh would be seeing the job through. Now I got a email from Josh stating that the materials for the job were not available and that we could not proceed. I asked, "What if we change materials?" He said let him look into it. I thought, "Great!" Never heard from them again. Called. Emailed. Texted. I even got the materials for the job and asked if the crew was available. Not even the courtesy of a call back. What about the spring? What kind of a business are you running! I’m thoroughly disgusted with their handling of this. I still have not received a refund and will never use or recommend this site ever!

I have used Angie for a lot of years. I found a guy I wanted to hire but when I ask for a quote I received a bunch of calls from people I never wanted. I found that to be intrusive. I would like you to change that as that will influence whether I will continue you.

My elderly Mom who has just passed hired Expert Moving and Storage to move everything out of the house she had been renting since selling the family home. Glen, the owner and his crew of real gentlemen handled the job extremely quickly and efficiently. They truly are experts. I would use them again any time. I highly recommend to anyone to hire them. You'll be glad you did.

After being gone for 6 months I returned to find my irrigation system was not operational. I called the company that had installed it several years ago but they were booked out a month and a half and my lawn was getting more brown by the day, so I did a Google search on pump repair. Angi came up with several providers in the area. I reached out to 3. All three got back to me within minutes to schedule appointments. I went with one that showed up the very same day. Great experience all around. Would use again.

I find it valuable to get reviews of potential contractors. However, I would like to get first to a list of contractors in alphabetical order based on the filter parameters chosen, rather than always being directed to Angi's recommended vendors based on information about my project. I rarely choose the ones they pick for me.

I have nothing but good things to say about the ladies of the Kitchell group. They all were great. Professional, helpful and friendly. If I needed anything they were there to guide the way. I highly recommend these ladies do your buying or selling needs.

Angi gave me three names. One scheduled, cancelled and rescheduled. Didn't show up after I took the morning off to meet with him. Very unreliable contractors. Angi doesn't verify their reliability or ask to do so. User beware, Angi is a costly waste of time, second poor experience,.

When I went on Angie's, I indicated that I needed new locks on the front door and another door within my home. I clearly stated the amount of locks needed, but that I did not know what kind the locksmith would bring. The locksmith arrived with no locks saying that Angie's required that I get my own locks even though I didn't know that was required. Angie's told me that I would still have to pay for the costs of the service anyway of over $200.00. They told me also before I started that they would guarantee their service, but clearly there is no guarantee at all. I feel I was taken advantage of because I'm a disabled Vietnam veteran and Angie's can do anything they want.

Every professional I got from Angi (electrician and carpenter) was great and they did a fantastic job. I feel Angi really did the legwork for me. It was very easy navigating to the professionals I needed in my area. When I received a list of professionals, all I had to do was check to see if they were licensed and read the reviews. So easy.

Everything I asked to be done to my business and my houses they went over and above. I could not be more satisfied. Everything I asked for from Angie what is delivered 100%, I couldn't ask for more and I will continue to use Angie.

I have always been wary of contractors doing work on my homes and I have had a few disappointing experiences. However, about 7 years ago, I heard about Homeadvisor and used their services to hire a finish carpenter to replace some interior doors. The project turned out exceptionally well and I wished I would have done it years sooner instead of being afraid of hiring it done.

It was very difficult for me to figure out how to categorize my porch roof repair since there wasn't a category. It was more than a handy man and less than a full fledged multi-project contractor. It needed carpentry, external paint, a slight amount of brick repair, metal roof resurface, repair and replace.

No one likes to move especially from a house to a 2nd-floor apartment with heavy things... I didn't know where to begin so I googled it and Angi came up, I thought hey why not give it a try. I put in what I needed and before the night I have 3 callbacks and quotes. The next day I had 4 more. I picked one and everything was great! I didn't know how easy Angi would be, will use it again for all other projects.

Carlos replaced a piece of wood on the threshold of our front door which had come off. He secured it with Gorilla Glue so it won't come off again.. He also replaced the rubber pieces at the bottom the front and back doors so that water and air are not able to come in.

LM Landscaping was on time, efficient, fairly priced, and the workers were a pleasure to have around. Luis was in contact with me through text, which was my preferred method of communication. I am very pleased with their work. Will hire them again, and recommend them to anyone reading this.

Window Nation went above and beyond with the replacement of my windows. (There were extra stairs involved - the guys did not complain.) The installation crew was punctual, professional and did an EXCEPTIONAL job. I HIGHLY recommend their services.

Beware of signing up as a service pro with Angi as they left out many important terms! Unless you read the contract word for word you would not know that the $200 deposit you put down also subjects Angi to be able to deduct above and beyond that amount and they will!! They send you leads then charge you for them whether you get the job or not. They claim the lead fees are $10/$30, for a one person cleaning business like myself, the truth is most leads sent were $50 charge. I received about 10 leads in under a week and about 7 were way out of my scope and I was denied refund. The 3 that may have been promising I was unable to reach the customer and still was charged! In under two weeks and my account was debited over $300 and more charges pending!

Gas heater needed to be reconnected to gas line after repairs to cement basement wall. Broken part to heater was discovered during the process, resulting in a need to purchase a new heater, which serviceman went and purchased and installed.

The company that came out, RR Electric, fixed our power outage. They professionally installed the new lines needed and replaced the electrical panel with a new updated one we required. This is the first time we've used Angi and will use it in the future for other needs. We've already recommended it to our neighbors.

I've just completed my third review for a contractor found on Angi. It has become an integral part of my research process before having any major work done on my home. It has saved me so much time since I'm able to select from a much higher quality pool of companies. Lower price no longer means sacrificing quality. With Angi it usually means a great find with amazing service at a competitive price.

Do not use this service..They kept sending people for the same job which was done through their service the first time..They all said they were coming to screen my porch. Some called and didn't show up. Now they are trying to bill me over 1 thousand dollars for services I didn't get nor wanted. They will not give me my money! They said they will give half! No way! I got nothing for this..I know it probably sounds like I am just a complainer but I have never wrote such a review before.. Stay away from them and do not give them your credit card info or they will bill as they see fit...Bad news

I had carpentry work that needed immediate attention. Angie’s List insisted that they would solve my issue and booked the appointment. The carpenter who was supposed to arrive that day was a no call/no show and he was supposed to have confirmed the appointment with me within 24 hrs. When I called Angi, they stated that they will not be working with this man again and rebooked the appointment for the following day.

JDM construction remodeling of Heating/ Air Conditioning system and installation of Dual Pane Windows. Electrical, Painting, Stucco were all done to my home. All work was completed professionally with a great price.

We needed carpet pad and tack strips removed and disposed of and old carpet backing scraped from a linoleum floor. JZ Star Flooring Services provided a very good quote quickly. We contracted and the job was completed within days. The crew was on time, worked fast and the results were excellent.

We had our summer home bathroom remodeled. It was very old and time to update. We had the vanity, toilet and shower (which was made with old plastic liner and old rusted sliding doors), an old tile floor completely demo-ed. Carlo installed a new shower, new base, new tile all throughout. New tile floor and installed a new toilet and vanity. I am very happy with the way it turned out, it looks clean and beautiful and I have gotten many compliments. Highly recommend Aiello Paver & Tile Co. for this kind of a project.

This was my first time using Angi. I needed to find a Mold Testing Company. I am in Jackson, MS. Angi suggested Mold Pro Consultants and three other companies. Mold Pro Consultants reached out to me. We agreed on a price and a date and time they would come out. I communicated with someone named Andy. About one hour after we had agreed on everything I received another message from Mold Pro Consultants. The person simply typed 'wrong number'. It was the exact same number I had been communicating with all along and our communications were populating both my texts on my phone and the website. The individual told me they believed I had been scammed. They said they were not affiliated with Mold Pro Consultants and that Angi had been sending them leads when they were not affiliated with Angi at all. I had sent pics of the area and this individual had my name, address, email, phone number and everything..

Most of the time we've been able to get good information and resources when we post. Occasionally we get calls from non-Angi companies who saw that we were searching. It's important to clarify if a company is Angi recommended or just a "ringer."

Angie's List helped me find Kevin ** with Revolutionary Roofing and Restoration. They did a fantastic job on my new roof and gutters. Done in an extremely timely manner considering the pandemic and low supplies. Kevin ** was awesome to work with.

I found Ryan of The Computer shop here. I liked the reviews and reached out to him. He was as professional and friendly as everyone bragged. I will use Angi anytime I need someone to do some work from now on!

We like to use our tried and true contractors, but when they are not available, retired, overbooked, Angi has been a helpful resource locating quality help. Great. The two men that came to clean were on time, called in advance, brought equipment to protect my walls and doors from cords and hoses, gave extra attention to a couple of stains, spent time informing me of specific carpet care, and were just overall friendly. They moved the furniture for me and explained every step they took to me in advance. I will definitely be having them back in the future to clean and highly recommend the company.

Experience was great. Checked main breaker to see if it was thrown. Climb in attic. Pulled panels off. Checked fuses and relays. Checked for reset breaker. Found that it was thrown. Reset AC unit. Put panels back on. Climb down from attic. Turn AC on. Within mins it stared up.

I work with a pro that services Handy, in which Angi uses. The work orders are very vague, for example today there was a pressure washing job scheduled, we were told a sq footage of 500 and payment was $230, when we arrived it was over 8,000 sqft to be pressure washed and Angie's wanted to pay $230 for the ENTIRE job. Unfortunately we were not able to do job for that price. I'm not sure what angie's charges the customer but they want to pay pros unbelievably below standard pricing and wonder why customers either get upset and cancel or have issues with work performed by the “pros” who do agree to the work/price. We as pros have no way to contact angies to discuss any job, and Handy (whom schedules for them) can not speak on Angie's behalf. So PLEASE BEWARE.

I contracted Wash Hogz to perform pressure wash cleaning of my home exterior, outside deck and sidewalks. The work performed far exceeded my expectations and I could not be more thrilled with this company. They contacted me immediately upon my inquiry, set up the appointment with ease, and arrived perfectly on time as scheduled. Mr. ** was a sheer pleasure to meet, and an absolute professional at his craft. I will always call Wash Hogz for my pressure washing needs! Thank you Mr. ** and Wash Hogz!! 100% Satisfaction!!

Angie's List is highly advertised in our area, however, every time I have tried to use it I get very poor service. The last experience was for a drywall contractor. I received one estimate and though we contacted the company to do the work I received no response. I also contacted the customer service at Angie's and they were extremely rude. I guess my cash payment was no interest to them. I have several more projects in line but will use their competition. What a waste of my time.

I am a Lawn contractor who signed up for Angis list with an account specialist. I was hesitant at first, but my account specialist assured me that there were HUNDREDS of people looking for Lawn Service in my area and not enough Professionals to fill the Jobs. On June 16th I signed up and Told My Specialist that I would give it a couple days and see if it was worth it. After calling 4-5 leads in 5 days with 3 replies on several leads and no jobs, I determined that this was not for me. So on June 22nd I Cancelled My acct with My Specialist. No Harm, No Foul. Live and Learn.

I used Angi for Fixed Price Services. The Pros scheduled with Angi were not experienced, fully equipped, or on time. I was left purchasing hundreds of dollars of equipment that I have no use for, and my wall still does not have wallpaper. The wall is 8ft tall and 11ft wide. Angi recommends 3 hrs. I have had two "Pros" spend 6 hours not completing the project and requesting more money.

We loved our landscaper… BUT when we went to pay though Angi the site was extremely difficult to maneuver. I received only one message that payment went through…. BUT when we reviewed the credit card statement was BILLED twice. When we contacted Angi, could not get through to a person, so emailed them. When they finally got back to us (in greater than 24 hours which was promised on the contact site)… received a limp apology and basically a message that they would have to look into it and it would take an additional 1-3 days for them. To get back to us. SO…. Basically they have stolen money from us and seem not too interested in refunding ASAP. Also, from my understanding they take money from the good folks that work through this site.
