    1-800-FLOWERS totally messed up my order. I had to reschedule it three times. My customer got the flowers a week later than expected. The sad part is I had to repeatedly tell my customer the flowers were on the way.

    Was ordering flowers for my mother 2 years ago for Mother's Day and ended up learning that they had a discount available. Upon getting my order together and selecting the arrangement I wanted for my mother - I set up the payment. The arrangement I got was a flower and fruit combination that was to be delivered early (Thursday prior to Mother's Day) and to make a long story short... it ended up getting there on Tuesday of the next week and the fruit was rotting and flowers were drooping. Furthermore, I ended up trying to find out what happened and they 'said' they were sending another out with better quality fruit and fresh flowers but ended up getting the same thing. While I understand Mother's Day is a busy time for these services, I was highly disturbed at the lack of concern, horrible quality levels, and late deliveries with 2 different orders...

    I find 1-800 Flowers to consistently have a great selection of flowers, however, the quality is hit or miss at best. What keeps me coming back to them is the combination of selection, pricing and they are very gracious offering a second delivery with unsatisfactory flowers.

    Ordered a fairly expensive bouquet of 2 dozens roses for my wife for Mother's Day. Merchant got the delivery date wrong by a week. I called and they couldn't deliver when expected, but said they would deliver on Monday, or at the latest Tues. I accepted. Today is Tues. and the order arrived. Not even close to the right product: it's approx. 5 assorted flowers (carnations, etc.) with a lot of green filler. Not in good shape. I called and was told that they canceled my order for "insufficient merchandise." In other words, they didn't have the 2 dozen assorted roses so they changed it to a much cheaper order. I asked for a full refund and was told "I am unable to give you a full refund because you received A product." I asked to speak to a manager and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up and filed a credit card dispute. Completely disreputable. Beware.

    I placed an order for flowers to be delivered for a birthday five days in advance. The order was not delivered but I received confirmation that it was delivered. What an embarrassment... 1800 Flowers told me to wait till 8 pm and it was not delivered and all flower shops already closed. Such a shame! Horrible!

    The deliveries are always late. The flowers only live and are pretty for a few days. The way the flowers are packaged does not always allow for them to all arrive intact. It has been difficult for me, or for the person sending me the flowers, to get in touch with customer service.

    My wonderful expectant Daughter-in-Law and Son had 2 dozen roses sent to me for Mother's Day. This is the absolute worst internet flower shipment I have ever received, and I'm over 50 - so that's a lot I have received over the years. I opened the box immediately and as soon as I unwrapped each dozen ALL of the leaves spilled onto my counter and floor as well as a lot of the petals. On one rose the entire set of petals just dropped off leaving me with an empty stem. It took me over 20 minutes to clean up the mess left on my counter and floor. I practically filled an old gallon paint can with the debris from a 'fresh' bouquet within 1 hour of receipt.

    They arrived on Wednesday, by Saturday another 12 were decimated and the 2 that tried to open have black petals around the bud. The remainder I shook off the loose petals and was left with a tiny rosebud that still, 3 days later will never open. I don't want to know what my kids paid, but they were totally ripped off and when I get to see them in person I will tell them to never, ever use this company again.

    When I ordered flowers for about $100 the Thursday before Mother's Day and paid additional to have them delivered the next day Friday, the 1800flowers.com website checked my zip code and confirmed okay. I proceeded and selected what I wanted and continued with my very busy day. Later that day, I received a call from 1800flowers.com customer service telling me they don't have what I ordered and can give something comparable. I asked what and when it would be delivered to which they informed me two days after Mother's day. How useless is that, then they agreed to cancel my order but during the call it was dropped and never called me back.

    Eventually I managed to text with them and needless to say their service is shocking beyond words. I don't know how they have ever managed to stay in business. Later I shared this with my wife and she told me if she knew she would have warned me as she had a similar experience while sending someone flowers once before. THEREFORE BE WARNED! DON'T USE 1800-FLOWERS.COM.

    I ordered an arrangement I felt would have been a beautiful tribute in sympathy. We were unable to attend as it is an 18 hour trip one way. Our daughter sent a picture of what was sent and I was horrified and embarrassed. It didn't include the blue flowers and depicted in the advertised arrangement we ordered. Customer service apologized and are refunding my money, however it doesn't change what was delivered vs. advertised. I hope I can attach pictures.

    DON'T USE THEM!!!! I ordered an absolutely beautifully arranged vase filled with flowers... No greenery showing.... just tons of flowers. The vase was beautiful with bare (no leaves and junk to get moldy) stems arranged beautifully in a swirled arrangement in clear water. What was delivered was what looked like a $20 bouquet purchased at Costco and shoved in a vase! This was NOT done by a florist. It sat in a FEDEX truck all day after being shipped half-way across the country. This didn't come from a local florist shop... nor did it have my note enclosed. I paid $100 for this junk, which was supposed to make my mother-in-law feel special on Mother's Day. I don't think so.

    Five days before Mother's Day I placed an order for flowers. On the day before Mother's Day, 1800Flowers sent me an email stating that the order was delivered. It was not. I called on Mother's Day, and they assured me that it would be delivered. It was not. At 10pm on Mother's Day they sent an email stating that they had not even assigned my order to a local florist. This company is dishonest and evil. Avoid.

    I ordered my mom a multi day (2 day) gift bundle that was suppose to be strawberries the first day and flowers the second day. I ordered this on 4/30 to be delivered on Friday 5/7 and Saturday 5/8 (prior to Mother's Day). The strawberries came on Friday 5/7 but no flowers on Sat 5/8. I called 1-800 Flowers on 5/8 and was told to call back in the morning as they would call the "shop" and confirm what happened, why my mom's flowers weren't delivered and when my mom could expect them the next day. They also refused to give me the # to the "shop" they were referring to.

    I called 1-800 Flowers back the morning of 5/9 and was told the flowers would be delivered today. Fast forward to 11pm and I haven't received a confirmation email or text stating the flowers were delivered to my mom. I called 1-800 Flowers and after being on the phone for 45 minutes the guy tells me that there is no local shop near my mom's house to make the delivery and that's why they weren't delivered. What the actual **?!?!

    I requested a refund 5 times and asked to speak with the supervisor and the guy kept telling me because the strawberries were delivered that they could give a partial refund for the flowers. I did not want a partial refund, I purchased the multi-day gift bundle and 1-800 Flowers failed to deliver on that. Even worse, they let me make the purchase over a week in advance, took my money, knowing they could not delivery to the area in the first place. I requested again to speak to the supervisor and requested a full refund. They finally gave me a full refund. I am utterly disappointed with this company and will NEVER be ordering from them again. I wanted to surprise my mom for Mother's Day as she lives in another state and 1-800 Flowers failed on their promise to satisfy the customer and deliver on that promise.

    Purchased flowers on 5/1/21 from 1800flowers for my mom to be sent to her on 5/8/21. It's 5/9/21 at 10 pm at night and they are still in transit! They tried to charge me $27.00 for shipping also that I saw on the total when during ordering the shopping cost was $14.99! I had that changed, but their help instruction just takes you back and forth back to the order page? What to do? Don't recommend anybody buy anything from this scam company!

    With delivery fees over $90 always on my mind bouquet for Mother’s Day looked nothing like the photo on their website. Do yourself a favor and pick up flowers at a local florist or grocery store where you can see what you are actually getting at half the price and better quality.     I ordered flowers for my daughter for Mother's day. I ordered them to be delivered on May 8th. On May 9th I asked her if she got them. She did not. I called customer service and was told they were "replaced". I said I did not make a replacement order. They stated they did not have the flowers I ordered and they would be delivered on 5/12/21, I stated that that was unacceptable. I told them that for the delivery fee of $29.50 they should have been there on time or I should have been notified when they could not be. All the emails I received stated the delivery was on-time. They offered me a 10% discount. This is not the first time this has happened with this company and I will never use them again. I suggest that you do not use them either. They are terrible. One other thing, I was on the phone with customer service for over 45, min and they could not get me a supervisor to speak with. I had to cancel my order.

    Flowers look nothing like the advertised pictures and they came borderline dead. Spent $145 on two orders and both were embarrassing. The flowers received look like the ones at Walmart for $10.     Ordered flowers for Mother's day...Scheduled deliver on Wednesday. Ordered 2 of the same product..But they just dropped one off order...Said they tried to deliver but were unable (I have video doorbell....Nobody tried..So they lied). No delivery next day so I call on Friday to see what's up...First attempt I got hung up on...Second attempt the lady was understanding and helpful....Called the local florist and confirms they can deliver that day....4 hours later I get call from 1 800 Flowers saying they can't deliver....I would give them no stars if it was an option....Terrible service...Awful communication..Will never use again and will tell all friends and family to do the same

    Terrible. I ordered a puppy bouquet for my mom, half the dog if that was put together by the "local florist." I wish I could send pictures because it was just horrible, a five year old could of done better. I am not even looking for free or a voucher of sorts, I am looking to simply provide my mom a bouquet of beautiful flowers because I am thinking of her. I spoke to two customer service reps BOTH from India, not clear how they can help me. They both didn't help me, on hold constantly and being that I am in customer service being on hold for more than 10 mins or more is not the ideal situation to be in. I will NEVER use 1-800-Flowers again. Very poor quality with customer service and they did not fulfill simply providing my mother flowers prior/on Mother's Day.

    Sent my sister flowers after her surgery and it looked like some drunk pulled a bundle of flowers and shoved them in the nearest vase. They didn't look like the picture, the vase wasn't correct and it was not the large, double bouquet I paid extra for. Called and they said it would be replaced by a local florist. Another bundle of mess was shipped to CA from NJ. Just gave up. Don't count on the pictures or the price you pay to be what you ask for. Next time I'll call a local florist.

    I paid to have flowers delivered by 10am for a work event. They were delivered at 4:20p. Our office closes at 4:30p. I called a couple times to find out where the delivery was. They said the florist didn't guarantee the time. I advised that I paid extra for the flowers. They just apologized and said the time wasn't guaranteed. I advised them they should state that when someone pays extra money for a morning delivery. I had a similar issue in the past. I will not use them again. I will also recommend my friends and family not use them.

    I ordered flowers for a funeral. I received the email notification that they were delivered. Never thought to verify this. The next day, (the day of the funeral) my family member that attended the funeral said the flowers were not there. I called 1800Flowers and got the run around that they were delivered. When I pushed them harder, they reached out to the local flower company who never answered their phone. Turns out, I was charged the full amount for NO delivery of flowers. The funeral is well over now and still no flowers. I called 1800flowers back and they asked if the flowers could be delivered to my home. NO was my answer and insisted on a full refund! They need to be like Amazon and provide a picture when delivered so there is proof to the buyer. I will NEVER order flowers from 1800flowers again!

    Ordered flowers and candy 4/12/21. Flowers came, were nice. Candy never came. Was told after long conversation, candy will be out in two days. Candy never came. Called again. Long annoying conversation, was hung up on. Called again, long annoying conversation, put on hold four times. They couldn't reach the florist to get candy delivered, so I said, "Give me my money back." Again on hold. Was told to would take 1-2 billing cycles to get my money. That's 30 to 60 days to refund $19.99. I will never, ever use them again. Their services has gotten terrible.

    Do not use 1-800-Flowers. I paid a good amount of money to have my flowers delivered the next day. No delivery. When I called for a refund at 10 PM they had the gall to tell me that the flowers were on their way and they refused a refund. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said one would call me back. No call. There is no way there would be a delivery at that hour and if there is, that is NOT a flower delivery. Avoid this company!

    I ordered flowers for my mother for her birthday on the 16th of April. Same day delivery. I called and was rest assured that they would arrive on the same day. Got a phone call from my mother on the 17th.. No, flowers.. I called 1-800 Flowers and talk to their customer service department who apologized up and down for the delay was given a $20 pass for the inconvenience and was rest assured that my flowers would be delivered on Monday the 19th. Luckily I have the FedEx app on my phone and was surprised to hear from FedEx that my flowers are coming from New Jersey! And won't be delivered until Wednesday the 21st.

    Called up 1-800 Flowers again and they told me that the closest florist to Winterport Maine that could fill the order was in Parsippany New Jersey. Curious. As far as I know there are florists in Bangor Maine ..Which is less than 20 minutes away from Winterport. I was again apologize to was told that they are going to reimburse 50% of my order and was offered another $20 pass which I refused as I will not be ordering from them again. Just wanted to let other people know that if they actually want their orders to arrive on time, perhaps should look elsewhere...

    I ordered flowers for my mom's funeral service on 4/6 for a 4/17 delivery by 10:30 am, I called four times since the order was placed because I got charged immediately but never got a confirmation of the order. I was assured the order was placed and flowers would be there. They never showed up, it was supposed to be a big white wreath with the mom sash and nothing. I got charged almost $300 and they never delivered a single flower. This was so important and cannot be replaced, they blew it. I will never use them again.

    I ordered flowers from this company twice in the same month (April 2021). The first bouquet was arranged very sloppily and without any care whatsoever! I was actually embarrassed after seeing the picture. (Roses & Cala Lily) The 2nd order was the large size Spring Blossoms which was for a bereavement. The company was unable to fulfill their own arrangement and could not offer anything close to that same arrangement as a substitute. I was refunded the amount paid for the arrangement a week later. My request to speak with a manager was never granted. I've had much better service using From You Flowers and Teleflora. I will never again use 1-800 Flowers due to their poor customer service as well as their disappointing floral arrangements.

They were delivered to the wrong address and then they were delivered a day late but we ended up with were a mixed red and white bouquet of wilted roses. They charged me $145.     I finally spoke to a woman in their management team. I was told that 1-800-flowers sees Easter as just another day so delivering after Easter is recommended. Their company does not promote any religion or recognize any religion. How disgusting that they use religious Holy days to sell their products but never show the respect nor reverence to the Holy day and their religious customers. I think this company is worse than I originally imagined. Easter, Passover, Chanukah, Christmas mean nothing to these greedy people except as a scam to get more business. Avoid this company. They took my order and charged my card. Never delivered the flowers. Refused to issue a full refund even after their re-order did not get delivered. Finally got them to issue a full refund but they would not tell me how much. I have to contact my card company to find out.

    In my opinion this company has become a scam operation. I hate to think how many people they do this to especially at holidays. The customer service is rude and unprofessional. Multiple agents told me the flowers were out for delivery while their online system said the flowers had not been sent out yet. Turns out their online system was correct and their customer service representatives appears to have lied to stop the cancellation. Use any other company or contact a local florist directly. This company is a not reliable, professional and in my opinion they are dishonest.

    I ordered flowers for my daughter’s 25th birthday. I wanted 25 roses sent to her. Since it was not a standard dozen or 2 dozen I called to place the order. All seemed well. Since then I have talked to countless reps who can not get the info correct. They don’t put the apartment number. They don’t have the zip code correct or even the city. They are sending 24 not 25. I placed the order with “Neen”. I have chatted online with Ashley, Adam, Eliza, Ariana, Eric, Belle, and I can’t remember the rest, but about 12. I talked on the phone to Jen and someone else from customers service. I think these names are made up, but don’t really care. I just want the flowers delivered and to be done with them. Never ever again.

    They get 1,000 stars for incompetency. They get zero for flower deliver because there still has not been a delivery. They were supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. They really are amazing at being a hugely frustrating business to deal with because they keep saying it’s taken care of, etc etc. Then I check & it is NOT, they have something important wrong. Like the actual STATE the address is in.

    On Friday 3/19 I paid for a flower arrangement to be sent Saturday 3/20 to a friend in the hospital who had a baby. On Saturday night, 3/20 at 9pm I noticed it not delivered. I called their customer service and spoke to a rep who said local florists are rejecting orders to hospitals due to COVID. She offered to have it sent Monday 3/22 to my friend's home address since the local florist was closed Sundays. Monday 3/22 comes and it's 9pm and again, order not delivered. I call customer service a 2nd time and am apologized to and informed that the 1st rep never updated the order to the residential address I gave.

    This 2nd rep apologizes, takes the residential address again, and then promises it will be delivered Tuesday 3/23. Tuesday comes and 9pm rolls around and again, no delivery. I call a 3rd rep who says they are sorry, but the first 2 NEVER CHANGED THE ADDRESS FROM THE HOSPITAL TO A RESIDENCE. I am so upset at this point, give this 3rd rep the residential address, and am promised Wednesday 3/24 that it will get delivered. 9pm on Wednesday comes and sure enough, the flowers still are not delivered. I am so livid at this point because I cannot get hold of anyone at corporate or a manager or someone in charge--- I keep going in circles with the customer service center which isn't even in the U.S.

    I even asked to talk to a manager or have one contacted me and am told "we are working from home, therefore we have no manager to help". POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. So this 4th rep I call and speak to apologizes because when the 3rd rep input the home address, he LEFT THE HOSPITAL NAME ON IT. So the florist rejected it again thinking this home address was for a hospital even though it's a residential address. I called back because after the 4th person updated and corrected the address and claimed to have it going tomorrow, 3/25 to the residence, the email confirmation I get shows SHE CHANGED THE ADDRESS BACK TO THE HOSPITAL.

    I call and speak to rep #5. At this point I want to cry. My friend is never getting her order, and 1800 Flowers has taken my money without delivering. I have invoices for each order they input, cancelled, and reinput. 5 invoices for the same thing. Rep #5 apologizes, says she will correct the system, puts me on hold and claims to have contacted the local florist, and will have this delivered tomorrow, Thursday 3/25. Day 5 since this was originally supposed to be delivered, day 6 since I made and paid the order.

    I asked for email confirmation this was going to the right address tomorrow. Rep gets sarcastic and says the website doesn't always update in time with them and that the order may still reflect the bad address. Well no kidding the website doesn't update-- and apparently you don't update your florists either. I am so upset that one, no one told me the florist rejected my original order until 24 hours LATER and only because I called to ask. The company should have immediately called me to tell me it was rejected and to get it re-routed. I am also upset 5 reps to date still cannot update to the correct address and my money and flower order are MIA.

    I can attach the invoices so you can see the debacle I have been up against. At this point I want to speak to someone in charge who will acknowledge this is horrible customer service, and I want refunded for the flowers. I don't care if they get delivered anymore-- I will pay a company who cares about my business and who has people I can get hold of who can rectify an issue. I never used to use 1800 Flowers, but my husband insisted because he worked for a sister company, Cheryl's, years ago. I will take my business and money back to FTD.

    1. She didn’t get the express delivery on time.
    2. The orders were separate. She received the Balloons one day the flowers on the first day.
    3. the flowers that I picked out was supposed to be pink and white Lilies. They sent her all white.

    I placed an order for Valentine's Day and the product that was delivered was smaller than pictured on their website. In fact, I specifically ordered the large size and what was delivered was clearly the smaller version. Simply put, the order I received was not as depicted. When I called the company to report the situation, I was told I would receive a replacement product the very next day. When that didn't arrive, I called again only to find that the reorder had never been placed. By the time I received the reorder, it was well after Valentine's Day and still was not at all as pictured. It was very difficult to reach representatives, the info received was inaccurate.     I used 1-800-Flowers.com and it has been a nightmare experience. I ordered flowers for my anniversary to be delivered the day before (to be safe...so I thought). The order was two days late and they stated the reason was due to the inclement weather. It was overcast with periods of light drizzle/light rain. My anniversary gift was a bust and I looked like a jerk. I got someone on the phone and they apologized and said they would waive the delivery fee and give me a $20 credit with a future order (neither of which I have yet to see)...not that I would use their company ever again in the first place.

    Then the harassing phone calls begin to roll in. A different person in Asia (every time) began calling. I got about 3 phone calls the night it finally delivered to "confirm delivery." The next day, the phone calls to "confirm delivery" started coming in every 3-5 minutes. I kept telling them to stop calling me and they kept calling. I have so far received about 20-30 phone calls from different Asians. I tell them to stop calling me and they act like they don't understand English and just say "Okay. Thank you. Bye-bye." I am about to lose my mind. How do you make the harassment stop???

    This was a terrible experience. I’ll keep it short and sweet. I ordered flowers to be delivered on 2/13 a day before Valentine’s Day for my GF. The flowers were lost in transit by Fedex and would be late. I asked 1800 Flowers to help me with this. They instead refunded my order and didn’t place a new one. Although I received an email stating they did with a new order number. When I talked to customer service to ask if my new delivery would be here on Monday the 15th(as stated in the email they sent to me) they simply answered ‘No’.

    I was livid and could not believe the lack of caring or understanding given by this company. They then reimbursed me with an ‘apology gift’ of a dozen roses that will be delivered on Wednesday the 17th..four days after my previous order and 3 days after Valentine’s Day. So not only will gf never receive the carefully chosen order I got for her(she’s not a huge fan of red roses) it will arrive here even later. I know many will just gloss over this review and not care but for others PLEASE go use your local florist or if they’re not open because of CV-19 use a local delivery service(like I should have) for a special order like this. I know my GF will say it’s ok because she’s a forgiving person but it is not ok. And this company should have done SO much better to take care of their customer. I will never use them again.

    On 2/9/2021 I ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers.com for my friend for Valentine's Day. I paid for flowers and shipping in full. The order was guaranteed to be delivered before 8 pm on 2/13/2021. I received a confirmation number that day via email. And on 2/12/2021 I received an email to inform me that the order had been shipped. And around noon on the 13th I got an e-mail showing flowers were in route. I had planned a dinner party for us and another couple on the evening of 2/13/2021 and the flowers was also to be the centerpiece for the table. During dinner and the rest of the evening my friend and guests kept asking when are the flowers going to arrive and so was I. This was very embarrassing to me.

    We waited up to 11:00 pm and still no flowers. I called customer service at 1-800-Flowers and spoke to a Rep to see what was going on with the delivery. No valid explanation was given to me why the flower did not make it on time. The Rep offered me to pay only half price even though I had not received the flowers. This was another slap in the face. I explained that I was not going to pay anything for something I have not received. I also stated that they broke the contract not me. I fulfill my financial obligation and it was unacceptable for me to pay for a service that I never received. Finally he removed the charges from my account. Valentine's Day was supposed to be a day of love and happiness for my friend and I but our experience with 1-800-Flowers.com ruined our Valentine's Day.

    Background: I am in bed, isolated at home, struggling with Covid, with my lovely wife caring for me. Days run together. February 13 in the AM I go to 1-800-Flowers to see if I have time to have something delivered. OPPORTUNITY #1: The site could have clearly stated that delivery by the 14th was not possible. Instead, I received notice that they may deliver on the 13th actually! My credit card was Authorized for the amount at the exact time of order. I received confirmation via email.

    OPPORTUNITY #2: If the local florist was not able to handle the order, then sometime on the 13th they could have contacted me. I was after all Required to provide my phone number. I would have understood because I know how the site works with its network of florists and data share is not Real Time (is this 2021?). But, no word.

    OPPORTUNITY #3: I checked the order the morning of the 14th. No movement. My credit card transaction had Settled, so they had now received payment and their settlement account was +$$. I called the service number listed in the email, which presented 3 options, None of which was an option to speak with a person. HELLO: Late afternoon on the 14th I receive a call from the site. They are sorry to inform me that the local florist was not "accepting" more orders. Was my order not.. accepted...when my credit card was charged. My options were to either Maybe have delivery on Tuesday with a Coupon for my next order, or cancel.

    OPPORTUNITY #4: I suggested that their delivery promise was by the 14th. If they wanted to deliver on the 16th and refund my payment, then that was acceptable. I said then Cancel the order and return my payment by Tomorrow. The answer, that it would be 5 to 7 business days. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were too busy. I said I would hold. The same rep returned and quoted a string of excuses, that included words that "banking" could not refund faster

    A Bit More Background: I have 20yrs experience in the Payments Processing Industry. The exact same Immediate Authorization, and Overnight Settlement operations used to take a payment, can be used to refund a payment. There are no banking rules that prevent that. Only greedy retailers that choose to keep Our money for those days. How much interest do you think they can earn in that time?

    OPPORTUNITY #5: After explaining this to the rep and their supervisor, I was put on hold for about 20 minutes. When they came back, they transferred me to their Payments Department. Another 20 minutes on hold, the "error" announced and routed back to a different rep, with No context of my call, so she knew zero of my issue. She said she could look up my order ONLY with my order #. Oh, I am a Database and Software engineer who builds customer service systems. No IT director with an ounce of sense would have a system like that. I suspect (but cannot prove) outright dishonesty. So, I "put them on hold for an extended period" while Iooked it up. I provided the number, confirmed cancellation, and told the rep to find a new call center job because with policies like these, this one may not have a long future.

She called to tell me thank you but also told me the condition of the Tulips. I was so unhappy with this service. What happened to making sure the flowers were received by their recipient? These are delicate flowers Not a delivery box. You leave them on the porch in the freezing cold. I get it’s coronavirus but they should have placed the flowers, knocked on the door, went back to the car to see if they were received and if not, come back out to retrieve the flowers. I was kept being put on hold, for long periods of time. They told me my order was cancelled and said the reason was because i changed the first name of person receiving order. I never heard of such a thing. She then tried to find out when I could still get order - another 10 minutes. Did not have an answer. I tried cancelling order, since they cancelled it to local florist, but they refused. I will never do business with this company again. I went through my credit card company for a refund. DO NOT BUY from them - VERY Unprofessional!

    On two separate occasions 1-800 Flowers did not deliver as promised. They are wholly unreliable. They outsource customer service issues to foreign countries. STAY FAR AWAY from this company. On the latest gaff, my flowers were to be delivered 2/13/2021 in advance of Valentine's. I ordered them a week ago. On 2/13 early in the morning, I get notification that my order is in transit. No flowers ever arrived.

    I contacted customer service on their website and the end response was “due to seasonal weather they are experiencing delays,” never mind the fact that I’m in Fl, it’s sunny, and the flowers are in my city. The customer agent (whom I suspect is a computer bot) said, "Don’t worry. We will still deliver the flowers tomorrow," — which who knows when, and is too late. To add insult to injury I paid $26+ for shipping. STAY AWAY unless you want to roll dice on whether or not they’ll deliver. Again, this is the second time this company messed up— first time, shame on them, this time it’s on me for giving them another chance. Warning the rest of y’all.

    Ordered flowers for my mom’s bday. Received a delivered email. Called mom all happy and she never got them. Tried to cancel my next order and no one responded. The lady Trixie in their chat service closed my chat because I did not type the order number instead I sent a screenshot. Now no one will respond on the chat so I then called internationally and the guys said I would get a refund that they were out of the flowers. No refund, no flowers, horrible customer service.     I just received an expensive bouquet of roses that are damaged, wilted, droopy and nearly dead. I doubt very much that any of these flowers will open up. Usually I throw flowers away when they look like this because they are very old. The company says it guarantees its products but when I went online it insisted I talk to a live agent and that was a 26 min wait. Not how I want to spend my day.

    The flowers and vase were lovely but the delivery service did not ring doorbell or call on the phone. The flowers were left in a box on the porch during the night in February winter and were ruined. Upon learning this, I contacted 1-800-flowers.com Customer Service, where the person said could not replace the same bouquet, but suggested another. She did not give me any options but one. And I would have to wait 4 days for the delivery. I said this was not acceptable, 2 days past Valentine's Day. She could/would not do anything else. So I finally accepted a substitute bouquet delivery in 4 days, with 50% off my original bill and a "Savings Pass". I will not use or recommend this company in the future.

    Ordered Valentines Flowers for my wife. They didn't get delivered. Not only that, I live in Las Vegas and they were shipping them from LA? You don't have a single partner in Las Vegas that can deliver tulips? Moreover after I spoke to FedEx for a half our and they explained that they never left LA and wouldn't be delivered, I called 1800flowers to let them know and they said they would be delivered by 8. No the carrier said they are still in LA so that's not true. They said they wouldn't help me until after 8. I asked for a manager and they said one would call me back.     I was ordering flowers. I put in all my information including the delivery address and the website indicated the delivery fee would be $2.99. When I checked out, the deliver fee was $17.98. When I spoke to customer service, I was told that delivery fees "might" changed based on the location of the nearest shop. Before checkout, the site had asked me for the delivery address.     I would leave 0 stars on my latest experience if possible. First thing in the morning I ordered a midsized arrangement for same day delivery. With shipping costs and fees the total was ~ $75.00UDS. Almost 5 hours later I received an email saying they couldn't deliver but "However, we can still send something similar via FedEx and on top of that a $20 savings pass." This was well past the time I could have found an alternative for same day delivery.

    I had asked for text alerts when I ordered, nothing was ever sent via text so by the time I saw the email all local shops were closed. I then called customer service to figure out options. The first rep took 15 minutes looking up the order and then ended up dropping me call while on hold. I waited 5 minutes to see if he would call back, he did not. I called again and the rep said they can't look at my order as it was being worked by someone else. I told them the call had dropped and they said I should wait 5 minutes and call again. I waited 10 minutes and called again. After 15 minutes looking into my order, the woman relayed the wrong info to me about another order. I corrected her and she proceeded to work on resolving the issue. After sitting on hold listening to the same 3 minute flute muzak on repeat for 1 hour and 8 minutes they claim to have refunded my payment but I will need to wait 1-3 days to see it.

    Everyone considering this company should STOP. Do a quick google search for local florists in the area you want to send. Call them direct and order through them. You can even mention the type of things seen on 1 800 Flowers, they will help. Don't give any more money to this horrible company. They don't care about you, your gifts, or even the local florists that actually provide the product. They are a leach on the backs of hard-working local businesses.

    My mom’s birthday was coming up so I purchased her a gift basket to be delivered due to me living out of state. After my first fail with 1800 flowers (my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was in the hospital the flowers weren’t delivered on time or correct) I decided to give them another shot. Well surprise surprise my mom's gift basket wasn’t delivered when it was supposed to. One person told me I would be compensated, the next person gave me $20 to go towards my next purchase... I will never order from 1-800 Flowers ever again. They can't be reliable when it comes to something important or very meaningful. After multiple tries and fails they won’t be getting anymore money from me. My advice is find a better place to purchase from and have shipped to a loved one.

    I ordered a chocolate heart piece for a family member completing her chemotherapy. It was ordered on 1/29/21 and I was assured it would be delivered on 2/4/21, the date of her last treatment. It never arrived! When I call them today, a lovely woman assisted me and informed me the order never shipped. She was willing to credit me $20. BUT WHAT ABOUT MY ORDER???     I ordered a fruit bouquet 6 days before the delivery date. It was never delivered to my mom's. She waited all day only to get a call from DoorDash at 7:30pm to tell her the store was closed so there wouldn't be a delivery. What floral company uses door dash?     I ordered flowers for my grandmother. White roses with light purple Peruvian lilies. The florist sent white carnations in place of white roses and overcharged me for service fee. Their service fees are posted on their website, which is how I knew they overcharged me. I called customer service twice in regards to the carnations that were sent and they hung up on me both times. I will absolutely never do business with this company again. They used to be good... Whoever is running the show now needs to be fired if this is the way they treat paying customers. Absolutely unacceptable. Customer service is terrible (obviously). I'll be surprised if you stay in business cheating and overcharging your customers like you do. Disgusting.

    I don’t recommend this company. I had such a bad experience with this company couple of months ago. They didn’t send sympathy flowers to my family at all and haven’t given my money back. I am still waiting to receive my $80-85 dollars back. Their customer agent called me the same week this company was supposed to deliver the flowers to tell me that they don’t have the flower arrangement I ordered a week ago. When I tried to replace the flower arrangement with something different, the agent couldn’t do it.

    So at that time I asked for a refund and I am still waiting for it. I have called their customer service numerals times to resolve this issue but no luck so far. Personally I think this company needs to focus on training their customer services team and have more flower arrangements. Also, if you don’t have certain flower arrangement please inform this information on your website for the customers to see. So customers don’t waste their time or money. Don’t waste your money!!

    I have been ordering flowers from 1800Flowers on and off again for over a decade with mostly satisfactory results. Anything that wasn’t perfect was easily made up for by the convince and ease of ordering. I even signed up for their passport service to get free and expedited shipping. And everything was great until it wasn’t...

    It was my 16th wedding anniversary and we were in the middle of COVID, so no romantic get aways, no night out, not even a trip to our favorite restaurant so what could I do to make it special? Flowers...My wife had been hinting at a 100 roses arrangement she had seen on 1800flowers while look for arrangements to encourage her friends during this time. I would get her that PLUS 1 dozen for a total of 112 (Cause 112/16=7, I’m an engineer-can’t help myself). So fast fwd to day of...1 dozen rose arrive early around 10am. Great I thought, but where are the other 100? I ask the delivery person and he says sometime orders from 1800flowers can come from multiple florist. Ok. Then 1pm rolls around. They haven’t come and I’m nervous so I sneak out to call 1800 flowers and check the status.

    The rep on the other end of the line, after some checking, assured me they were delayed but on there way. Relieved I went back to my wife and the day’s festivities. 5pm, the special diner I order is now here and still no flowers...I call again. This time the rep tells me the order was canceled and they cannot get another order out today but don’t worry I was refunded. I say I don’t care about the money, I need the flowers for today. I get put on hold and wait only to hear an exec customer sales rep tell me the same thing at which point (after some stern words) I hang up. Bottom line NEVER order from here if the order is important or time critical cause when you only have one shot you can’t afford to have someone else blow it!

    I had placed an two orders for the birthday of my wife that was coming up (November 2020). Both floral arraignments were delivered as scheduled and the arraignments were beautiful. The problem happened when I received a text message (Saturday evening) that my order was on its way for delivery. This was a month after I had placed the original order (December 2020). I called the "customer service" and they said that they were going to give me a refund on my credit card and that the order was cancelled (Sunday morning).

    Flowers were delivered (Wednesday) and my wife asked me if I had ordered flowers again. SO.... I called "customer service" again and also my credit card csr to cancel that credit card and reissue a new one. TODAY January 12, 2021 received an email stating that the charge for 1-800-FLOWERS was declined due to cancelled credit card. This site is making fraudulent orders and be aware on your credit transactions used!!! I will not make "Business" with them again.

    It was absolutely *not* the fault of the customer service agent. My friend's father passed away and I placed an online order to have flowers sent to the service bc I couldn't attend bc I contracted COVID. I woke up to a message saying that they couldn't deliver flowers to the service bc there was no florist availability. I used to live in that area, and happen to know that there is absolutely abundance of florists that deliver near the funeral home. They then wanted me to contact my grieving friend during the burial of his father to get his address so they could send the flowers to his home since they missed getting them to the funeral home.

    Do you know how insensitive and awful that is to try to do something like that as my friend is grieving and burying his dad???? I'm furious. I will never use your services again. I will call small business owners and give them my service instead. How awkward and terrible this whole situation ended up being. I am so embarrassed when all I wanted to do was send condolences...

    1st my full order wasn't delivered on day requested, had to go back into order email and call in requesting information about a delivery of chocolates that should have been delivered with flowers but 5 day later than requested date. I didn't receive chocolate at time of flowers, why would they think I want both gifts delivered on separate dates?! 2nd I call and am told to call back 8 minutes later, 8 minutes later! I call and I hear chickens and roosters and dogs and no one answers for a whole minute before disconnecting from call when it answers, when I call back and get someone they ask me condescendingly if I know that the date is 1/12 for delivery of the second item instead of telling me straight up the delivery date is actually 1/12.

    I asked for a supervisor or manager and didn't get one. I am extremely disappointed with this service and I don't want the candy and I want a refund! Why would 1800flowers.com think I want a gift delivered half one day and then 5 days later the other half!? This site is well decorated from overtime of maintaining it, but I am waiting now since 8:27 pm to speak with a customer service representative through chat, since when I call they cannot get their customer service correct.

    It is now 8:41 pm since I have been waiting. In the end, the 4th attempt to speak with customer service proved fruitful, the customer service personnel refused to allow me to speak with management, however, they offered 20 dollar gift card for next purchase. Upon notifying the representative I do not want it and want a refund, and that I would notify and contact the corporate office to ask for an investigation, the representative offered 50% discount on the 2nd half of the order. Not acceptable service, and while I will give the benefit of the doubt for one of their representatives getting this right finally, it still needs to be some sort of alert to their company for how this was handled.

    I have always thought 1-800-Flowers was a good place to get flowers. My moms birthday was coming up and was looking at their website and saw a beautiful bouquet of roses I thought would be perfect. I ordered on 1/4 (birthday was 1/5). I thought they contacted our local florist to deliver. But I got confirmation that they had shipped via FedEx which I was happy to see that it was shipped and would get there by her birthday. But they were shipping from Texas. I kept checking FedEx and it was still in Texas as of 1/5.

    I contacted both 1-800flowers and FedEx. I just got FedEx has until 8pm to deliver. Well they never showed up. I did contact 1-800 to get a refund. The person who helped was fine and said he would refund my money to my card. Well today received a notification that the flowers were delivered. When my mom opened the box the vase was broke she had to cut the roses out of vase. I am just disappointed. Next time I will just go through our local florist.

    I ordered two gift baskets on 11-21-2020, in the amount of 67.73 and 64.18. Neither basket was delivered when it was supposed to be delivered. I also ordered them through my rapid rewards with Southwest so I was supposed to get 1000 points per order. This is the only reason I used them to begin with. It is now 1-6-2021 and I still do not have my points. I called Southwest and they told me I had to reach out to 1-800 Flowers.

    I just got off the phone with Jay... The call lasted 20 minutes... Of that 20 minutes Jay spent 17 looking for SW Airlines phone number. Not until I had been on the phone for 15 minutes did he even ask my name and phone number, and that was only after I asked for a manager. When it was clear he was not going to try to even look my order up I asked for a manager. He would not transfer me to a manager. I will never use them again. The customer service is completely lacking. All I wanted was the points added to my account. He didn't even try!

    I ordered a beautiful arrangement for my significant other 3 days in advance on a Friday. Monday the order was moved from "prepared" to "in transit," but was never delivered. According to 1-800-Flowers support, a case worker was assigned to find out why it was never delivered, but they clearly only admits fault. I was offered a partial refund, which I refused until they gave me a full refund for services NEVER provided. AFTER initializing my refund, a new order was created free of charge to to make up for not delivering the first. Guess what happened. Another 24 hours "in transit" without a delivery ever made. As the old "Seinfeld" joke goes, "ANYONE CAN TAKE A RESERVATION. THE KEEPING THE RESERVATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!"

    Literally ANYONE can SAY they'll "deliver smiles," but when you deliver NOTHING TWICE, you've not only lost my business, but embarrassed me in front of my significant other, AND embarrassed yourselves for not providing any service, much less exemplary customer service, and then later when I asked for it to be made right, they gave me a copy/paste response saying that it's been refunded basically asking, "Why you mad bro?" I'm mad because I was lied to. I still haven't got my refund back, but I'm not holding my breath if they deliver the refund within the same time frame as the TWO failed flower deliveries. If I could post screenshots here, I would. No one should EVER use this service, but if you don't believe me, just check their app reviews within the last 6 months. I wish I had first, too.

    I ordered flowers and chocolates for my mother in law's 79th birthday. When she went to eat a piece of chocolate, the chocolate was moldy and sticky. I called customer service and was told that a replacement box would be delivered yesterday 12/31/20. I called before 10 a.m., when I called at 4pm I was told that delivery would be 1/4/21. I called again and spoke to a live representative. I told her it was unacceptable and I needed a supervisor. To make a long story short, after 6 phone calls and 2 hours, I had requested a full refund. I was told it would take 2 billing cycles before I got my refund, then I was told 24 hours so customer service does not know what they are doing.

    I finally got a Supervisor by the name of Velavi who was a complete jerk, the first thing he said to me was "You got a refund" without even knowing what happened. After explaining to him he talked over me several times, I finally had it, I cursed at him because after 6 phone calls and 2 hours I was livid. The correct thing to do would be besides the full refund, diffuse the situation by calming the customer down. They should of offered to deliver the chocolate, giving the refund and apologizing. The last thing he said was "Would you like to place another order and I can give you a delivery date?" I told him he needs to be retrained on how to be a good sales person and on how to be a Supervisor.

    As a business woman, when I get a complaint from a customer, not only do I refund my customer, I send out whatever they were unhappy with without questioning. I care about my company and my customers. If that Supervisor worked for me, I would have fired him on the spot. He was arrogant and not helpful. I will NEVER EVER use 1 800 Flowers again.

    I ordered a fruit basket for delivery on December 24, 2020. It is now December 26, 2020 and no fruit basket yet. I contacted customer service and was told it would be delivered December 25, 2020. The guy sounded like he was from India and spoke little English. So how fresh will this fruit be now?? Why offer delivery dates if you don’t honor them. I will never order from this company again and will be sure to let everyone else know about them. They ruined my Christmas present for my 90 year old mother!!

    Ordered a gift basket on December 11, 20 to be delivered on December 23, 20. Not only did they not deliver it. They never notified me that item was not available. They did say order was confirmed and they debated my credit card. Then never heard from them again. The only reason I found out something was wrong was when the person receiving gift advised me it never came. I spent over an hour on phone and the only thing that they said was sorry. I will never use them again and recommend you find someone else to deal with.

    My wife ordered me a bonsai tree which arrived looking like someone took hedge shears to it. So not a surprise that it arrived diseased. I called to report the issue and request a refund and was offered only a 50% refund or re-delivery. I declined re-delivery anticipating high likelihood of a similar problem and was refused a full refund. The customer service agent I spoke with refused to allow me to speak with someone else. He then put me on a 10 minute hold before confirming that he had processed the partial refund.

    Christmas 2019, ordered an arrangement for my stepmother 350 miles away. I received a delivery notification... Great. Surprised her with a visit. To my surprise nothing was ever delivered. Customer service was no help and she ended up with nothing. Christmas 2020... thought I’d give them another chance (my mistake). Delivery was scheduled for 12/21. Never happened. Tried calling customer service, the lady that answered the phone had 2-3 screaming children in the background, so I couldn’t understand anything she was saying. Tried using online chat only to find out the next delivery option would be in 2021. Once again 1-800-Flowers was a non-delivery and she received nothing. Do not trust them!

    HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE...WARNING...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SERVICE! I would give a 0 if I could! WORST place to get flowers, WORST customer service, WORST of the WORST! I ordered a Christmas cactus for my mom a week ago, and after reading just how bad the reviews were (after already ordering), I immediately called the customer service line to cancel, fearing they would not get it right! Well, after basically 15 minutes of silence from a guy in India, I finally asked if anyone was there as I was not being told anything, he just acted as if he was working on the computer. He finally just said, OK...I said, "OK what? Is it cancelled." He said yes. I said, "OK, will I be credited for that then," he said, "You will have an email in 1 hour." I NEVER got an email stating it had been cancelled, or anything.

    Today, a week later, my mom called and asked if I sent her something. (I had already ordered from her local florist to send something else, which arrived beautifully). I said Yes, but I cancelled that. She said it was a complete mess. The cactus was tipped over in the box, dirt everywhere, it was wrapped in plastic, (just the plant) so she had no idea what to even do with the thing. Now she needs to take it somewhere to be repotted. I have no idea if my account is going to be charged, but I will dispute it if it is. Horrible customer service, horrible delivery! They should not be in business with the terrible reviews they get!

    DON'T USE FOR SYMPATHY FLOWERS - YOU WILL RISK NOT HAVING THEM ARRIVE. Flowers were ordered on 12/16/20 and extra paid for arrival on 12/19/20 directly to funeral home. Late evening of 12/20/20 noticed email from 1-800-Flowers stating at 10 am on 12/19/20 flowers would be delivered on 12/19/20. At 6:02 pm received another email that delivery was attempted but unsuccessful and they would "reattempt" and would "email a delivery confirmation". Funeral home was open 24 hours a day so unclear why delivery was unsuccessful. Their website not showing any attempted delivery only that order was "confirmed".

    Customer service called 8 pm 12/20 since no delivery confirmation nor any communication that they made any reattempts. Customer service said IF they had known these were sympathy flowers they would have made sure they were delivered early am of 12/19/20, and would have made several re-delivery attempts. These flowers were ordered under the " Sympathy" tab and were called "Healing Tears" and were in memory of and sent to a funeral home! Complete incompetence. Customer service said delays were due to "holiday" and if they had "known this was a sympathy order" it would have gotten there! What?!?! Customer service said they had until 9 pm to get flowers to funeral-home after I asked for a refund. They said they would contact florist and call me back ASAP- they never did. The funeral service was am of 12/21/20 (5 days after order was placed with high shipping charges) and NO FLOWERS!

    I called 1-800 flowers again 12/21/20 after the funeral service livid that flowers were not there and demanded a refund. They wanted to give me a 50% refund and would send these flowers wherever I wanted! The service was over, all other family members and friends had flowers there surrounding the casket and to take to cemetery- it was too late in my opinion. They then agreed to issue my 100% refund.

    As of 12/21/20 there was NO reattempt at any delivery. Won't use this company again since unprofessional and they clearly contract with unreliable local florists. Better off going directly to a local florist since they will lose local business if they do not deliver because you will know WHO they are and they can't hide behind 1-800-flowers.

    I've used this online flower business for some time now, especially for sending multiple out of state orders for the Christmas holidays. Prices are really competitive, you can get free shipping if you're a regular customer, and the flowers always look pretty and fresh. This year covid must have thrown them for a loop. I'm an experienced online shopper, and have an online address book that I've liked using in the past, but for some reason it was practically impossible to get it to enter shipping addresses in the right spot.

    The website kept freezing, and you couldn't tell which arrangements were available for which zip codes until you had input a bunch of information. I couldn't even tell when an order had been placed successfully, and ended up with several duplicate orders and no way to cancel! (Ordered two arrangements inadvertently for my home/billing address - and ironically neither arrived here on the date specified.) Tried the app but it wasn't much better, and I'd lost a day of precious time before Christmas. No way to get any response by phone. It would be funny, except that now I'm out about $200.00 for flowers I didn't really want. What a mess! Hope they aren't having a raging covid epidemic wherever they are.

    I wanted to see if my Celebrations Passport was still active before purchasing gifts from Harry & David, a participating merchant. It took 4 calls to 1-800-FLOWERS before I could find someone to help me. In the end, I was told that my membership was still valid, but they could not give me an expiration date. Then they told me that I had to call Harry & David, place the order and it would automatically discount the shipping charges. I did that and when I was ready to complete the online order, I was still being charged for the shipping. So I called H&D and placed the call to a person I could speak with. After much manipulation on her part, we were able to remove the shipping charges as promised.

    A couple of weeks later I was charged $31.40 on my credit card for Celebrations Passport renewal which I did no authorize. I AGAIN had to make 4 phone calls (I was disconnected while on hold 3 different times!) and was finally able to connect with someone who told me she would remove the charge for the renewal and that it would take 5-7 business days to process and that it should show up on my statement within 1-2 billing cycles(!). All this in addition to 4 separate phone calls, took a total of 45 minutes of being put on hold. To add insult to injury, they charged me $31.40 (which they will supposedly refund) but online they are promoting this service for $19.99!

    While membership entitles you to free shipping, it is really not worth the hassle. Their "customer service" is manned by people in remote locations (no kidding, I heard a rooster crowing in the background) with heavy accents which are hard to understand and they are on cell phones with crackly connections so it's hard to decipher what they are saying. Any information they need to look up takes forever to load, and they do not know how to handle anything outside of the most routine follow up. This is not the first bad experience I have had with 1-800-FLOWERS. Unfortunately, because of this really unacceptable "service" I will no longer order from Harry & David (who I love) because dealing with the Celebrations Passport is well beyond my tolerance!

    I ordered flowers to be sent to my aunt after my cousin's death. They sent the flowers to me, getting the billing address messed up with the shipping address. When I call customer service, after 2 disconnections, an hour later and the inability to hear what the representative was saying, I will never use this company again. Working from home is one thing, but make sure you hold up professionalism. I couldn't hear anything with all the people talking in the background, and half the time I didn't know if the representative was talking to me or her personal phone call she tended to while on the phone with me.     I ordered an extra large Christmas arrangement for my family in NE. The arrangement was delivered and it was so small I was embarrassed. Nothing like the picture and was clearly the wrong size. I called 1-800 Flowers and they promised a new order would be delivered the next day. It wasn't. I called them again and they said they would send another order out that day and they would call me back. They didn't do either. I called them back and they claimed the order was delivered. It wasn't, my family has been home the entire time (single family home, not an apartment or condo). I called today and asked for a refund.     Do yourself a huge favor and don't deal with this company. I don't believe 1-800-Flowers is completely incompetent as it appears; it is the opposite: they are "pretending we don't know what we doing" in order to take and keep your money. It is built into their system to take your money, send whatever they want instead of what you ordered, keep your money, and then pretend they are helping you but nothing happens. If you are not already on blood pressure medicine, you will be soon.

    I'm serious, this isn't a joke: this is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Whatever you are imagining, it is worse. I was in a loop with a computerized chat that said "We have a 100% guarantee. We are here to help you!" Then a live agent hung up on me twice. I am polite, civil, and generally pretty forgiving and put up with a lot. I just want them to resolve the issue, that's it; I don't want to yell at anyone. This is a huge corporation which is set up with people who want to keep their jobs, not help you. Recall the scene with the insurance company in "The Incredibles". This is it.

    I placed an order online. 1-800-Flowers didn't send what I ordered, they sent something completely different without my input. I paid for the bouquet; I am the only one who should make a decision about a substitution. The message was actually potentially offensive to the recipient who had lost her husband. Thankfully she took it in good humor. I telephoned, I didn't get any kind of a refund on the 1st order (I would be happy with a partial, I actually don't want to cheat anyone, they did send something).

    Dec. 4 called: I have another order going out on Dec. 15. Will I get what I ordered? No. We're going to send something different. And they were going to charge me an additional $20 for an order I didn't want. I just cancelled the order. I still don't have a cancellation email on Dec. 5 and the order is still showing on my on-line account. I went on the chat and cannot receive confirmation. I was hung up on by 2 agents (disconnected). I still don't have confirmation. At 3pm Dec. 6 I telephoned to speak with a representative, the automated service won't assist me, the computer keeps hanging up on me. Then they said "We are closed". 1-800-Flowers is open 24 hours and will take your money any second of any day.

    Tell me thievery isn't built into the system? All I want to do is cancel an order not yet sent! I'm not even asking for a partial refund on the first botched order. I attempted cancelling the 2nd order (10 days from now, it hasn't been sent yet) with their automated computer, and I received the message "I cannot cancel your order. Good Bye."

    1-800 Flowers if you are out there, please cancel order # ** and send me a confirmation email along with a credit of (69.15) for the 2nd order not yet sent. I already paid $57.93 for the first order although it is not what I ordered. Cancellation of the 2nd order is all I want at this point. If I had been able to get ANYONE to assist me in the past two hours I have spent on this - computer, real person, chat - I would not have written this review. I don't want to be unkind to anyone. I want to cut my losses and move on with my life. I don't need this negative energy when I am dealing with the loss of two friends.

    I never tell anyone not to deal with a company, I just describe my experience, and they can decide for themselves. But, seriously, save yourself the nightmare. MAYBE you will get what you ordered for the price you ordered and get an item which matches the description - but if you don't, 1-800-Flowers will not make it right. Don't give your credit card to this company. If you use PayPal change the log in after you use it. I'm completely serious. One of the 1-800-Flowers recordings even played on Covid: "We're in this together". Tasteless. Reassuring you they are helping you while they do anything but. That is their M.O. in a nutshell.

    My son sent me flowers for my birthday, which turned out to be a total disaster. The flowers arrived on time, a little wilted. I followed the instructions that came with the order, cutting the stems, adding water and flower food in the vase. They never came back to life, they actually were getting worse. I called the number on the back of the card for Customer Satisfaction Dept. only to be disconnected 3 times so I went to 1-800-Flowers webpage to live chat. First attempt the agent responded with a question, which I answered....waited 15 minutes no response, no disconnection. Tried again and chatted with another agent, got a little further in our conversation but this time the live chat was disconnected.

    Called 1-800-flowers again and pushed the button "to place an order" and was connected with an agent. I explained the situation and he said he needed the order number, I told him there was a number on the card that came with the flowers, he asked if it started with a "W", it didn't. He said I needed my son to call back with the order number that starts with a"W". I texted my son and he sent me a copy of the order, the number matched the one I had, without a "W". I thought I'd try again.

    This time I spoke to a lovely woman who asked for my name, she pulled up my son's account without asking for an order number. She said she was going to send a new bouquet and give me a confirmation number but was having problems with her system and to hold on the line. The call was disconnected and I thought.... now what?! Within five minutes she called back, with a confirmation number and date of delivery. The woman was wonderful, unfortunately the rest of the experience was a disaster!

    Horrible, dead flowers, 3 days late. They not only came late, but they also had to be arranged once they got here. I'm not a florist, the stems were 3 inches too long for the vase supplied. You pay this much for delivery on a certain date, you expect it to show up on that day. For the amount of money spent, the should have at least been arranged. So disappointed, 1-800-Flowers successfully ruined a very special day, then teased that it would be the next only to change their mind after 6:00 PM. 3 days late for a special day....THANKS FOR NOTHING. NEVER AGAIN! Just call your local florist. At least they will bring it out on time and the flowers will be fresh.

    I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my order. I order my nephew a bouquet of snacks and candies that cost me $85 and what was delivered does not even reflect $20 worth of snacks. I called customer service to place a complain and let them know how unsatisfied I was and their response was, "Sorry for the inconvenience and we will replace it with a bouquet that would match the order item." A second bouquet was sent with equal or less quality and value, full of Halloween mini size chocolates.     I placed an order as a gift for two individuals. First off the delivery was not on the day requested which meant it did not get to the individual at the appropriate time. Even more concerning is the boxes they were delivered in were close to crushed! Definitely not looking like a gift at this point! I emailed back and forth with customer service for a total of nine rounds of emails only to keep getting the same responses. We need more info - I'd give them the info and two emails later they would ask me for the same info over and over again. Always saying they want to help, but really just hoping you eventually will get mad and give up. Never once was I offered a solution or replacement. Don't go with this company, they have the worst customer service and the statement 100% satisfied is nothing more than a joke.

    I ordered a bouquet of flowers and paid for the premium version of the flowers to ensure I got what was pictured online. (The most expensive option for that bouquet) My family member sent a thank you photo with the flowers and it was only a tiny bouquet.     Order **. I will never use this company again. Please find a better flower company that will put the customer first and guarantee a delivery on time and as promised. I ordered my girlfriend flowers, balloons, and chocolates for her birthday. I did do a International delivery to Lampung, Indonesia. I wanted to surprise her so I wanted the flowers delivered to her school. I purchased the flowers 3 months in advance. Her birthday was in November. I received a phone call from 1-800-flowers around October 15th. They told me they couldn't deliver the flowers unless I paid another $150.00 on top of the $72.99 I already paid so I decided I would like my money back and the lady promised a refund. 3-7 business days later no refund. I called again they said another 3-7 business days. I waited 3-7 business days no refund. I've called, left email messages, talked to several customer service representatives to no avail.

    I'm beyond frustrated. I not only haven't received my refund but to have to do circles over again is just lack of compassion and terrible customer service. I have my bank account sure cleared of $72.99 but no service/product was provided. They didn't apologize or offer any sympathy. I may have to call the Better Business Bureau and find a way to get my money. $72.99 is a lot these days for working class people. I told my girlfriend everything and felt bad because I couldn't surprise her. She understood to pay $72.99 plus $150.00 is a crime. I don't understand why it is so hard to receive a refund. Several companies do a outstanding job and continue to receive my business. 1-800-Flowers will never receive my business again and I'll do my best to steer others away from this scam company who take your money and do nothing to provide services paid.     I made an order for a floral center price to be delivered the same day. The order went through fine and I was happy. Then I get a call stating the order cannot be processed and a different arrangement is being sent for 3 days after my original requested date. I am guessing their customer service calls are answered in a county outside the United States since everyone had an accent. I don’t mind that but it makes it difficult to understand. The associate helping me didn’t want me to cancel my order and kept insisting he needed to process this “new updated order” without telling me the price. I later called multiple times to be disconnected and to have my questions unanswered.

    I never got an email confirming a new order nor was I told what I would be paying until I spoke with another associate hours later. When I told her I was still unhappy with not getting an updated receipt or order confirmation she laughed and said goodbye. What a nightmare. She also said just check your bank once the charge is made. Really?

    I ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend in Saint Petersburg, Russia and they never received the product though the florist said it was delivered. Coincidentally, the florist will Russia refused to respond to an inquiry as to the details of the delivery. They never called the recipient, which was requested. 1800Flowers was totally incompetent in dealing with the issue and refused to refund my money, so I had to file a complaint with PayPal, 1800Flowers and Amex!

    I was very unhappy with my purchase. I paid a little over $60 for my total purchase and the flowers I received were of such bad quality and nor as described. The flowers are basically wilted/dead. This is my 2nd time I've ordered from 1-800-Flowers this year and both times were not great experiences. I will not be placing any future orders. Terrible quality! I wish I could add photos for comparison. So disappointed!

    I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my recently bereaved father, celebrating what would have been his late wife's 86th birthday. The initial phone call took 22 minutes and the person on the phone was difficult to understand. When I received the email confirmation, there were basic spelling and grammar mistakes in the message that would accompany the flowers, so I had to call again to correct it. Overall, almost 30 minutes on the phone to order flowers. TWO days after I placed my order, at the END of the day when the flowers should have been delivered (which would have been my mum's birthday), they emailed me to tell me they couldn't deliver the flowers because they couldn't locate a florist in that area. That is the FIRST thing they should have done BEFORE accepting my order.

    By accepting my order (which they could have never delivered) they PREVENTED me from being able to choose another service to deliver the flowers. So, my mum's birthday passed unmarked. My dad didn't get any flowers to let him know we were thinking of him. And all because this company was TOO GREEDY and TOO UNPROFFESSIONAL to verify if they could actually do what they had promised to do, before accepting my money. I am so angry and strongly advise people NOT to use this company.

    I tried to order flowers for my mom's birthday and even paid extra for same day delivery. When I was notified that my mom had never received the flowers I was very upset, so I called customer service. One, they don't even speak good English, and two they keep you on hold for ages. I tried calling multiple times, only to be told that I could not receive a full refund of almost $100!! And to also find out that the flowers that they were claiming to come from "local florists" actually were coming out of state and they were not even the specific ones that I had ordered. Save your time and money, just go to a local florist and pick up some flowers; a lot cheaper and less of a hassle.

    Be forewarned about ordering from them. I placed an order 4 days in advance of the day I wanted a delivery made. On the day I was expecting the flowers to be delivered, I received an email late in the afternoon stating they were unable to deliver my purchase! Are you kidding me? It was too late in the day for me to order from a proper flower delivery service by then! NEVER AGAIN!

    I placed an order on Thursday morning to be delivered on Saturday. The order was confirmed and then I received a call from 1800 Flowers Thursday afternoon stating that the order could not be delivered on Saturday and that they wanted to deliver the order on Friday. I told them this would not work as the person I was sending the flowers to would not be out of the hospital until Saturday. So again I confirmed that the delivery needed to be Saturday and the women on the phone from 1800 Flowers said she understood. I then received a call on Friday from another agent from 1800 Flowers saying they could not deliver on Saturday and now they wanted to deliver on Monday. I said the order was confirmed for delivery on Saturday. I then had to cancel the order. I will never use this company again.

    I ordered a beautiful arrangement called "Crazy for Fall" which included a gorgeous mosaic glass vase, which was the major reason I ordered that arrangement. I was shocked when my daughter sent me a picture of the flowers I sent her for her birthday! The flowers were not even remotely like the ones pictured and they were in a plain "dollar store" vase. No beautiful mosaic glass vase!! That same day I called customer service to request the correct arrangement be sent. I was apologized to and promised on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that the correct arrangement would be sent immediately, along with an apology call to my daughter!

    It is now Monday and, guess what, my daughter STILL does not have her birthday flower arrangement - the beautiful "Crazy for Fall" arrangement. Or an apology call! In my opinion, this is customer service at its absolute worst! First of all that a completely different arrangement from what I ordered was sent, and now 3 days later, after many, many useless apologies and promises, she still does not have the arrangement I ordered especially for her birthday! I won't do business with 1-800-Flowers ever again! I would suggest you be very careful if you order from them that your recipient actually receives the arrangement you ordered and paid for and not some cheap replacement.

    No birthday flower delivery was made on the day scheduled, only an email saying they would keep trying. 24 hours later- no delivery, no communication. When chat assistance was contacted I was told they would reschedule the delivery “at no cost to me” (?!) and give me a $20 pass on my next order. That would barely cover their exorbitant delivery price, much less anything else. Who knows how much longer this order will take? They certainly couldn’t tell me. What a way to celebrate someone’s 50th. Avoid!

    I decided to order flowers for my grandmother's 91st birthday and have them delivered. I live over 1000 miles away so paying a small fortune to see her smile was worth it. I received an email on 10/13 the day they were supposed to be delivered stating they were being prepared and they would notify me once they were delivered. At 9pm I called because I didn’t receive a notification stating they were delivered. My grandma NEVER received the flowers! It took me 45 min on hold to get a refund. On top it doesn’t help that they outsource the call center to another country.... I trusted the flowers would be delivered. Never again will I use 1800 Flowers! Save your money and heartache folks!

    The flowers were Eh on delivery. I immediately placed the food in a clean vase of water and lowered the flowers in. On day 2 I worked with them to get rid of dried up petals and gently sprayed the arrangement with fresh water. Well on day 3 I threw them out because they were such an eyesore. I'm not satisfied at all with the product. I'm going to stick with local florist in the future.

    Order number W**. I wish I had looked up reviews about 1-800-Flowers before deciding to use them. I live in Minneapolis and needed flowers delivered to my wife for our 7 year wedding anniversary as I couldn't leave the house due to important work. I ordered 1 day ahead and paid the extra delivery fee. By noon on the expected day, the flowers had not been delivered which prompted me to call their customer service line. I was reassured by an agent that they were in touch with their local vendor and my order was next in line to be prepared and delivered.

    About 2 hours later I checked my email as no delivery attempt had been made and there was an email from 1800flowers claiming that delivery had been attempted but no one was home. I thought the email message was very curious instead of a text as I'd provided my phone number for order status as well as my wife's number as the recipient. I knew they had told a bold faced lie about the attempt to deliver as I was home and would have heard bell ring or knock on the door. What was unclear was who was lying, 1800flowers or their local vendor. I called to find out what happened. The customer service agent put me on hold to supposedly get in touch with their vendor.

    After about 20 mins he came back to tell me that indeed an attempt at delivery was made but no one was home and that the flowers would be delivered the next day. I explained to him in strong and clear terms that next day (after my anniversary) was not close to being an option. I asked to be put on a 3-way-call with the vendor which the agent refused to do as this was against policy he told me. He said the best he could do was give the vendor my name to call me back. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and after placing me on a brief hold, the agent returned to say the supervisor was on a different call and would call me back.

    At this point it became clear to me that I'd have to leave home to actually do what I'd been hoping to conveniently take care of online, as it was a Sunday and near closing time for most businesses. The supervisor eventually called back offering me a $20 gift card and offering to call my wife to apologize. I declined both offers and said a refund would suffice. I rarely write reviews, but I hope this helps someone looking to use 1800flowers. I suggest you don't. Instead look for a florist local to you.

    Ordered flowers for my cousin mourning her mom's death (my aunt), Beautiful white and touch of lilac color in a low vase, not only they weren’t the flowers I ordered they were 100% different than a sympathy order!! She received colorful very chip looking tall chip vase flowers. I was so embarrassed! I wish I could show the picture on how different they were. I paid $125 but what was delivered probably cost less than $20. They send another one today but it is still so different and not like the picture and damage is done!     I ordered a bouquet to be sent the same day and hand delivered. They called several hours after placing the order and said it couldn't be fulfilled and the first customer service rep I talked to said nothing could be delivered for 2 to 3 days and they had nothing available for same day delivery. So they initiated a refund for the $61 I paid with which I was going to buy a gift elsewhere to be delivered. Then they told me it would be 7 business days to get the refund. I asked to speak to a manager because I needed the money refunded immediately since I needed to get the flowers to a friend who was facing a life threatening illness. The manager then told me they could get a bouquet to my friend but it would be next day delivery.

    They then charged my card for TWO bouquets, one of which I never ordered. So now I am not only waiting for the initial refund but I was also charged an addition $97 dollars - for the bouquet I wanted delivered the next day and then another charge for a second bouquet I never even order. All in all I am now sitting here having paid out over $160 - $61 I was supposed to have refunded in addition to the two additional charges, only one of which I authorized. Their customer service is terrible and I am now probably going to be overdrafted on my checking account. Just a horrible experience all around.

    I ordered flowers from 1800Flowers to be sent to my friend on August 28th For her 50th birthday. They were $69.99 for the large arrangement. My friend sent me a thank you picture after they were delivered holding the flowers that clearly were not the large arrangement I ordered. I immediately called and complained and they admitted that they sent the small by mistake that it was the florist that it was subcontracted out to. They apologized and offered to send my friend the correct large arrangement the next day and would send me a $20 credit to use on my next purchase.

    So here I am 1 month later and I decide to order Flowers again for my other friend Who just moved into her new home. I again purchased a large floral arrangement for 69.99 and used my $20 credit towards the purchase. The next day she sent me a picture of a tiny flower arrangement. Clearly not the large one again... must be the small arrangement. I called to complain and they said the same exact thing they said the last time. They blamed it on the florist they subcontracted it out to. I was furious, this is clearly a scam they pull. I’m sure they do this all the time and never get caught. It just so happens that my friends send the pictures as their thank you’s and I can see that it’s clearly not what I purchased. I just want everybody to know that they should beware and not use 1800 Flowers!!!

    I ordered an arrangement to be sent to an address in San Francisco. It is nice to be able to send someone an arrangement from a long distance and this company made it possible, however the flowers arrived a day after listed (totally understandable) BUT they were wilted and looked old. It was actually embarrassing when I received the thank you photo of my nephew holding the arrangement. And they weren't cheap, I paid almost $70 dollars for the arrangement including $15 to get it to him next day in time for his performance. Almost $90 for an arrangement that looked like they had it sitting in a truck for a few days is just unacceptable. I give them 2 stars because I appreciate the service, but if they're not going to deliver quality arrangements it's not even worth the money.

    I was very disappointed in an order for a sympathy flower arrangement. This is the second order within the span of a month that I made with 1-800-Flowers that I was not happy with. The first time I complained, their customer service was very good to replace the arrangement I complained about, although I was embarrassed to ask the recipient to send me another image of the replacement.... so I don't really know if they what was sent was true to the website image. I just trusted that it was.

    A picture was sent to me of the sympathy arrangement delivered. The arrangement I believed sent was not even close to what is depicted on the website! I have not sent a complaint directly to them about the second one because I wanted to research other reviewers first. I see that I'm not alone!     I would have to say that I've used 1 800 Flowers a couple of times and the service was not good but I always thought it was my fault for ordering at the last minute. So this time, I ordered flowers on Aug 29th to be delivered on Sept 4th. Everything set and of course, the money was taken out right away. Today, Sept 4th, I'm waiting for the confirmation email to say that the flowers were delivered...nothing. I call at 5:50 pm. The representative assures that the flowers will be delivered. Ok fine. Delivery time ranges from 9 am to 8 pm. So around 7:50 pm, I'm nervous. I'm going to the website and it still did not get delivered. I call the recipient (this was supposed to be a birthday surprise). I ask if she is at home and did she receive anything...Yes she is home and no she didn't receive anything...What?!

    So I call back...furious! I speak to another representative. Come to find out that the local florist did not want to deliver the flowers to that zip code and asked 1 800 Flowers for more money to deliver the flowers. 1 800 Flowers said that it was too much money and refused to pay the additional fee. The florist told them at 9:35 am that he/she will not be delivering the flowers. Ok when I hear this story, I'm furious...not only because I'm thinking the florist is racist (but...whatever..in these times I can't expect anything different) but more angry at the fact that 1 800 Flowers knew the flowers would not be delivered, did not contact me (they have my money though!), and lied that the flowers were on the way.

    Of course, I demanded a refund...I was put on hold a couple of times and was being apologized to 1000 times (one thing about the representatives, they remain calm as you are yelling!). I will get a refund, but it takes 24 hours. Very disappointed and not to mention my friend will not get the well deserved gift. I don't usually write reviews (I'm a one finger typer) but this really had to be said. I hope that if you are ordering flowers, you are in an acceptable zip code and you are not dealing with 1 800 Flowers.

Recipient did not receive anything, when I finally was able to track my order thanks to Paypal, it said I placed the order Thursday, which had already passed. I have spent nearly 2 hours trying to resolve this issue to no avail. Apparently they cannot find my order yet have my payment of over $100. I was hung up on by 1st customer service rep, was told the charge would not be posted to my card by the second. The 3rd advised me it would take 30-45 days for refund, which I said was unacceptable. so she then said I would be refunded in 24-48 hours. It has been 48 hours and still nothing. I am done dealing with their customer service and will escalate my dispute through paypal/mastercard. Terrible experience and no flowers for my recipient on her birthday.

    Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I ordered flowers for my sister-in-law's funeral on August 14, 2020. I placed the order and was told they would be delivered by 8pm. I received a phone call stating my arrangement wouldn't be ready until the day of the funeral. No problem, until the day of I'm told that the flowers could be delivered between 8am-5pm. Which would be too late for the funeral. Thankfully the florists was also confused with what this company was telling them and called me themselves.

    I get to the viewing only to find a SMALL wreath (I ordered a large) with completely different flowers, foam sticking out and visible, and ugly jungle leaves trying to cover the foam! I call to inform this company of the mistake and they offer to give me some 50% of my money back. I agreed to pay for the ugly arrangement as long as I got most of my money back. It has been 14 days and I have spoke with 12 different employees and I still have not received my $265.33 as promised! I just spoke to another person who states that my refund has been confirmed AGAIN! It's absolutely ridiculous! I am never doing business with this company again! They do not take care of their customers and they do not care! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! I only gave them 1 star because it doesn't give me the option for 0 stars!

    I wish I would have read and believed the other reviews. I can't say if the flowers would have been nice since they never got delivered. Calling customer service just results in apologies and no results. The last call they told me I would have to cancel my order and re-order for delivery 2 days later! I guess that makes their statistics look good but does nothing for me. After two tries and no sympathy flowers delivered for my dear friend, I had to cancel in order to ensure something would ultimately be delivered. I ordered from another company and they will deliver tomorrow. Everyone makes mistakes and I gave them plenty of opportunity to correct this. These people just don't meet their commitments and can't be relied upon for any important occasion. No smiles here.

Agent informed me to return call the following day and provided 2 numbers, Supervisor's number (Tyler) stated will be in office at 6am and also Priority Services which opens at 8am. 8/26 called Supervisor (Tyler) twice once at 6:15am had to leave msg. Supervisor Tyler didn't return call or email by 8 am. I contacted priority services spoke with Sarah. She provided great assistance and condolence.     11:56am spoke to George who forwarded me to (Tyler) Purchase verification manager. As I spoke and tried to inquire he continuously interrupted with his unpleasantry. He was very disrespectful towards me and dismissive. When he informed me of a charge back (fraud dispute) stemmed from 7/2017 he was using an accusative and aggressive tone towards me. I had no prior knowledge of what Tyler was informing me. I needed him to repeat for me so I could gather as much information as I could to look into the situation. He wasn't willing to be helpful only dismissive and short tempered. I was irritated with his unhelpfulness and lack of customer service, as he ranted "Do you want me to help you with your order" repetitively interrupting, talking over me loudly and very short tempered. He then hung up the phone on me.

    I called back but under the present circumstances he was able to ignore the return call and that sent me back to the call center where I once again spoke to George. George wouldn't permit me to speak with Tyler per his Instruction. Currently, I've spent a total of 8hrs on the phone and email with 1-800-Flowers staff for remedy and resolution. I wasted precious time with employees who could care less about me the customer. I should be visiting with my family and friends instead of helping with this business's brand. Ironically, through much miscommunication, rudeness and suffering I learned the order will now be delivered 8/27 per Executive services (Renee). 8 long grueling hour's on the phone and email to make sure my family would receive their Sympathy gifts.

    All of this could have been avoided if the company had informed me days earlier. I would've had time to directly support a local business. This greedy company can waste a consumer's time and unapologetically make excuses to the point that I had no other choice but to deal with the situation and further come out of pocket if I wanted to send my beloved family gifts of sympathy. Lastly, I requested the final agent send me a receipt to break down all refunds and current charges. The agent I spoke with was extremely confusing to the point that I needed to see receipt of the transactions.

    The receipt states Sympathy 10" Spathiphyllum Plant Product Number: 161804L has been cancelled and refunded. When I asked why it was cancelled and not discounted like Sarah stated it would be Renee disconnected the phone. I'm not ever calling back, if any charges need to be disputed I'll let the bank attorney or finance dept handle it. I need to spend time with my family. One thing I know for certain is that I promise to NEVER USE nor REFER 1800Flowers or any of its affiliates to anyone. Zero Mutual respect, compassion, support... ZERO STARS.

    On the funeral home's website, it had a link to 1-800-FLOWERS to send an arrangement. I had the option of deliver in a box or use a local florist. I chose to use a local florist. On the day of the viewing, I get a call from 1-800-FLOWERS saying they needed a home address because the vehicle broke down. I told them I didn't have a home address because it was a viewing/funeral and told them if someone can drive the arrangement to a house, they can drive it to the funeral home. I even said if it can't be delivered that evening, early the next morning before the funeral would be fine. I got an email saying it was delivered and thought all was well.

    Five days later, I get an email saying it could not be delivered and they were waiting on the recipient's home address to deliver it. I requested a call from customer service and the other reviews are correct, you cannot understand the representative (either one that called me) and the background noise is so loud that it makes it even harder. First he asked me if "Susan" received the flowers I sent. I had to say, "She is dead. It was a funeral." He told me it was delivered the night of the viewing at 6 p.m. and he did not know why I got that email. After hanging up with him, I get more emails saying they need an address to deliver it to. I still don't know if they were ever delivered and I shouldn't have to ask a grieving family that question.

    I order flower to be delivered to my friend and it’s not the same on the flower picture I ordered. I called to complain and the lady I spoke to said they are going to deliver a new one with the new reference order number. The next day I called the guy I spoke to, they said a new flower has been delivered. I ask for a confirmation receipt and they send the copy of the old receipt. I called the next day. The guy said they are going to deliver a new one, with a new reference delivery number. Same thing. They said it was delivered. Lie, lie after another. I was disappointed so I cancel the order. It’s so embarrassing to my friend they took the old flowers without replacing it. I feel so terrible this happened and I want this not to happen to someone else again. That’s why I’m writing this review. They took the flowers from my sick friend and end up me paying money for no flowers and the horrible experience. It’s not fair and it’s not right. I

    I ordered a former co-worker/friend flowers from 1800 Flowers for her BIG promotion and the flowers that were delivered was not what I ORDERED. I recommend anyone ordering flowering from this company... to have your recipient to send you a picture to make sure it's what you ordered. If, I had never had my friend to send a picture....I wouldn't known the third party company that 1800 Flowers uses just sends WHATEVER!!

    I ordered flowers for a coworker to celebrate her engagement. The flowers were delivered on time, but nothing like what I ordered. The flowers were extremely cheap, the vase was cheap, and the size of the arrangement was so small. It was actually embarrassing. I would have preferred to have sent nothing over this thoughtless arrangement.

    I ordered flowers for my sister's funeral which I could not attend. The order was for flowers in a large vase chosen by the florist. I was expecting something like the pictured illustration but instead they received a very ugly vase with so so flowers. And a service charge of $17.00!! I complained and they only charged half of the service charge and sent another vase of flowers which weren't any better. The card sent with it was illegible. Just very disappointed. Do these people hire out local florists to fulfill the order?

    They are dishonest, they advertise next day delivery, and my flowers were never delivered but they charged my debit card right away and when I canceled and ask for refund they took forever to do so. I asked to speak with a supervisor and nobody called me back. Don't waste your time, money and energy with this people.

    I ordered from this company because they said they could deliver the next day. They delivered 2 days later. The recipient is not home and basket is on the porch. I don’t know when they will return. It’s 80+ degrees here. I’ll never order from them again.

    This place is a scam. I ordered a medium sized upgraded bouquet that was supposed to have a blush color scheme with white roses and blush florals in a short unique vase. Instead the recipient received a cheap small bouquet with a few red roses and CHEAP purple flowers and lots of cheap greenery filling in a tall cheap standard vase. Don’t order from this company. You won’t get what you pay for or expect.

    I ordered an arrangement specifically for the Waterford vase and the lavender and white flowers. Requested delivery to my cousin's house the day before her home wedding. Ordered 10 days beforehand and called Customer Service twice to make sure that if the florist didn't have the vase or had to substitute flowers, I would be notified. I was assured I would be notified and that no substitutions would be made without my permission.

    The arrangement was not delivered on the correct day and when I called 1-800-flowers Customer Service, I was told that they couldn't contact the florist but that they were sure they were out for delivery by 8 PM. No delivery that day. Called the next day - wedding day - assured they were on the truck and would be delivered that day for sure. They were - in the middle of the wedding. Oh, well, at least they got that beautiful Waterford vase I paid $200 for. But nope, bride sent me pictures and they were nothing at all like what I ordered. Cheap plain glass vase, dark pink flowers.

    Spent over 30 minutes on phone with CS, they offered me a $20 coupon. Umm, nope, never going to use it because this is my very last time using 1-800-FLOWERS. Tried for a full refund, got half and another arrangement of same value delivered to bride and groom. Plus the coupon I'll never use. I used to order all my flowers from this company, but never again. I'll just use a local florist from now on.

    I ordered flowers for a friend, I paid extra for on time delivery. Flowers were NOT delivered on time and chocolate strawberries was NOT there once flowers were delivered 2 hours late. Website shows delivered although it is not so it is never accurate, I paid $170 for a reason NOT that you tell me sorry. If I could give you guys 0 star I would have, I hope someone from company reads this and realizes that you lost my business and hopefully people read this and not you use guys.

    Ordered flowers for daughter's memorial service, reviewed order before I submitted- $502.23. Ordered, got confirmation email at $502.23. They charged me $570.38 because their shipping calculated wrong. Wouldn't make it right, I sent them the email they sent me, talked to about 4 different people. The flowers were beautiful, but that is all because the local florist did a great job. I would use the florist in a heartbeat, but not this vendor. Customer service is terrible. Sticking with Avas Flowers next time.

    Used this company for the first and last time-I ordered a floral cake, balloons and chocolates for my daughter for her 18th birthday. After receiving an email stating it was delivered at 3pm, when it actually arrived just after 5, what was delivered was a floral cake in a completely different color than what I ordered, no balloon and no chocolates. Complained to customer service and trying to get some sort of rectification was like pulling teeth. NEVER AGAIN.

    I sent flowers with a sympathy note to my sister-in-law. The company sent the wrong note card, so she did not know what the flowers were for or who they were from. To make matters worse, she called 1-800-Flowers to ask about it and they told her it was delivered to her by mistake. Unless I called her, she would never know who they were from. I will not be using this company again!

    Horrible experience. My account was charged multiple times. I still have not gotten any of my money back from this company. 1-800 Flowers is a joke! Do not use them. The arrangement that they sent for a funeral was horrible and not what I ordered and cheap. Their customer service people you cannot understand. They do not speak English.

    First time with 1-800-Flowers. I order for a b-day ahead of time. First attempt to delivery the receiver was not home. So I call. Spoke to a rep. I was assured delivery would be the next day which was Saturday. It never happened. The b-day person waited all day for them. No one showed up. I called and asked. I was told it's not open on Saturday and Sunday so it will be delivered on Monday. I was upset. I told the rep. No one mentioned that when I called before. And then she proceeded to tell me “better late than never”. The b-day person stayed in on her bday waiting for these flowers until 8 pm. Which obviously never happened. I was furious. So asked for a refund. Never doing this again. First and last time with this company.

    On 28 June, I ordered a floral arrangement for delivery to daughter-in-law for her 01 July birthday. Birthday came and went with no delivery ... called to find out what happened. I was told they couldn't find a business to deliver to the address provided but, they would make arrangements for delivery the next day. The next day ... there was no delivery or contact from this company indicating why they couldn't deliver the floral arrangement. Called to complain, I was AGAIN assured delivery would be arranged for the next day. Indicated I wanted to cancel the order ... I was transferred to a Manager who wanted to provide me with a $25 refund as opposed to the $97.47 I was charged. Threatened to report the business to BBB and Consumer Affairs. Waited on the line to receive the promised e-mail verifying my refund. At least they were able to deliver the e-mail ... let's see how long it takes to actually get the refund.

    I ordered flowers for my mothers Birthday. I paid a very large fee for same day delivery and was very disappointed when they weren’t delivered. I was even more upset they never even bothered to call or email me that my order was not delivered. I live in Florida and my mother lives in Maine so I couldn’t deliver them myself.     Disaster! Ordered birthday flowers for my sister 2 days in advanced, paid extra to ensure they would be delivered today on time & 1800Flowers website only advises my order is "Confirmed"!     So, I ordered flowers for my wife for our Anniversary. I ordered on 06-24-2020 for delivery 06-26-2020. They were supposed to be delivered between 0800-1200, I paid extra for this service. They didn't arrive until 4:50 p.m. They were delivered to her work. She is supposed to get them early in the day so that the other people in the office can see them as well and it starts a conversation and such, and to make her feel special for the day. (A nice surprise.) Instead, I see no delivery notice, nothing from her uploaded to Facebook, nothing. I call her and nothing has been delivered.

    I call customer service, and what do they want to do? They want to give me back the $5-10$ that I paid for having it delivered between 0800-1200, and give me a $20 coupon. Why do I want a coupon? You think I want to order from a place that can't get it right? A place that makes my wife think I forgot about our Anniversary, doesn't make her feel special and loved all day long? No, I would never recommend this company. You can't do work with a business that operates this way and then they try to make amends with coupons. These flowers already cost me $110, do it right the first time.

    I ordered flowers, however, for some strange reason, my recipient contacted me about 30 minutes later stating “the same delivery guy delivered another of the exact same arrangement”! He, the delivery guy, stated that the company recognized that this was the exact same order, same recipient, same address, same date, but, without notifying me, they have my contact info., they filled the order anyway. I ordered ONE arrangement, however, I was charged for TWO! I would be VERY AWARE if you use this company. I will NO LONGER USE THIS COMPANY OR ITS AFFILIATES.

    I've ordered from this website in the past with good success. This time was awful. It would not let me order online so I had to call the order in. 1) Sympathy flowers with MISSPELLED NAME 2) Called for correction and they gave the number to Fed Ex. They of course thought I was crazy for calling them for this type of correction. 3) They put a hold on my checking account for DOUBLE the amount I was supposed to be charged WITHOUT telling me which overdrew my account. Customer service said it would fall off in approx 5 days. They did nothing to assist me. I will use another service next time!

    I ordered a gift basket for my father to be delivered on the Friday prior to Father's Day. I happened to check the tracking number and it was now scheduled to be delivered the Friday after Father's Day. I contacted customer service and their solution was to "call" my Dad to apologize and send it on Tues. after Father's Day and refund the shipping.     My daughter ordered a plant for Mother's Day. It cost in excess of $100. It was delivered in a box to outside of our house. I am not sure how long it sat outside but the weather was pretty cool. We brought the plant indoors, put it in a light location and ensured it was appropriately watered. It was a beautiful plant. Within a couple of days, the leaves began to shrivel. Within a few more days, it was dead. Totally not worth the expenditure.
