I ordered flowers and a gift to 2 different addresses the day before Valentine’s Day. Half of one order was canceled and I was asked to choose different flowers. No big deal. I did. Both sets of flowers came anyway, but I did get refunded for one. The gift never came and their chat function on their website and mobile site never sends you to a real person despite saying it does.
For the second order, it was marked delivered and never showed up. They delivered a different bouquet since in reality, the one I ordered wasn’t actually ready, 2 days later (after I called to complain). And now, 4 days later, the small gift ($66 gift!) has still not been delivered. I guess I’ll have to deal with their phone support which is a hassle in itself. They gave me a $20 credit, but that’s a waste because I’ll never order from here again.

OK - on Jan 26th I ordered two dozen roses for my girlfriend for valentines day. I was told they would be delivered on Feb13-14th. I thought ok no biggie if she gets them the day before. Well not only did she NOT get them but they said the flowers were out for delivery which was a big LIE. I checked on the website and it showed they hadn't even been shipped yet. Yet calling the phone number the recording said they would be delivered at 8:00 pm at the latest. First off who wants flowers at that hour? But I waited with her and yep still no delivery. So on the 15th I called and they apologized. Would NOT refund my money but agreed to re-deliver again and give me a $20.00 store credit! - I told them I'd NEVER use this service nor would I recommend them to anyone. If you use this service you'll be sorry and my advice is use some other service because these guys are crooks!

Ordered roses for my wife's Valentine's day gift. Gave very specific address including building name because the complex that she works has several building. Got a delivery notice from FedEx that the flowers had been delivered but no one could find them. After 3 hours of searching a maintenance man called my wife to say they were found at a completely different build tossed up on the loading dock. The specific building name had been left off the delivery label. Called 1-800-flowers and they would take no ownership of this screw-up. Ruined her Valentine's Day surprise. Lesson I learned...Always use local florist and never use 1-800-screw-up!

Never ever trust this company. Valentine's Order promised by 8:00. Text saying delivered. They never were and she has a camera on porch. Customer service unresponsive. Automated reply saying they’d be delivered on another day - seriously - Valentine's gift on another day. I’m disputing charge my card and will never use them again.

By far one of the worst online companies, I have ever dealt with. Simple flower order stated delivered. Which they never were. I waited on hold for thirty-five (35) minutes only to talk to someone at their 1800 only to be laughed at by the employee and everyone around them. They offered a partial credit stating the flowers were delivered. When I mentioned cameras and being home they offered a reship, again still laughing about the situation. Only after ten (10) more minutes they would give me a refund and continue laughing that my flowers had not been delivered. Not once at any given time did they express any sympathy or provide any customer service.

1-800-FLOWERS failed to deliver an expensive two dozen red roses on the day before Valentines Day, 2023. Their only solution was to ship two days after the requested date and give me a $20 discount. I will never, ever again use 1-800-FLOWERS. They are NOT reliable.

I ordered two dozen assorted roses to be delivered to my girlfriend's school (she is a middle school teacher) and I specified when I ordered them two weeks previous that she leaves the building by 2:20pm and they never delivered the flowers while she was in the building and I had to go spend another $100 plus dollars before she came home. Worst experience ever. I used this company 10 years ago and had horrible results. I guess I should not have taken a second bite of the apple. I will never use them ever again. Don’t even bother. Shop locally. They still wanted to deliver the roses the next day and after I laughed and told them how they ruined Valentine’s Day. I also told them to keep the flowers and no one would be at the school to receive the flowers at the time they would deliver…

DO NOT USE. They totally screwed up my order *After I triple-checked* the day before that the address with them to avoid any errors. They completely assured me it would be fine. Then I get a random email that they refunded me with no explanation. When I asked their support they said, "Oh it's not deliverable" - no other details. Truly incompetent.

I received roses today from #1-800-flowers.Com for Valentines and they are dead. Box full of petals and leaves. My partner called and sent photos and all they want to do is give back half of what was paid. These are the conversation petals that have hearts and I love you on them. These are not cheap roses. To say I am disappointed does not even cover how I feel. Thanks #1-800-flowers.com.

I ordered flowers for a friends from 1-800-flowers.com. The flowers were ok although a little wilted. As part of that transaction, they acquired my cell phone number. Fast forward to Feb, a few days prior to Valentine's Day and they are calling 2 times a day with offers and leaving a voice mail if I don't pick up. Also received a couple of texts. Evidently 1-800-flowers.com uses a call center overseas because on top of everything else they barely speak English but I did understand enough to hear them tell me the name of the person I sent flowers to previously and ask me to place an order for them for Valentine's Day. Unless you want to be violated with spam calls, I would not use this company. In my opinion capturing my cell phone number to pester me later is unethical. One star is too high for a company like this. I know they've lost our business permanently.

I ordered a $100 floral arrangement for my sister's birthday before 2:30 pm for same day delivery that was not delivered. I was told that the delivery would be tried the next day, which was totally unacceptable since the next day was not her birthday. I called over 10 times to speak to management for a refund and cancel the delivery. I was given the runaround and even told someone was working on my complaint. It wasn't until I advised that I would be calling in the police to report theft of my funds, that my order was released so the person I was actually speaking to could cancel the delivery and refund my money. I never spoke with management. I will never use them again.

I ordered flowers for a friend and the arrangement that was delivered was not what was ordered, in getting another arrangement delivered, I found out that the arrangements they had delivered were made by a grocery store floral department and not a florist! I spent 120.00 for flowers from an Albertsons Floral Department.... Don't waste your time and money, just call a reputable florist and arrange a delivery.

I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother on her birthday. I got an email at 4:04 pm saying order had been delivered, but when I spoke with her she said she hadn't received anything. Customer Service said the email meant they were on their way and to wait until 8 pm. No flowers at 8:15 pm so called back. Told it was too late to deliver tonight but they would come next day between 9-12. No flowers by 12:15 so called again. Told they might be on their way. I asked to speak to a supervisor and that I wanted a refund. I was put on hold and then disconnected. When I called back and asked for a supervisor, I was put on hold and then disconnected. I called back again, asked for a supervisor and was transferred.
The person I spoke with (supervisor?) said he couldn't get into the account because the previous customer service rep was still in it, and that I should receive a callback within 15 minutes. No callback, so I called again. This customer service rep said she was calling the actual florist shop. She put me on hold, and when she came back she said the florist said the flowers were delivered to "an old lady". I repeated that I had spoken with my mother twice last night and once at 12:15 today and she did not have the flowers. Basically the customer service rep was calling my mother a liar. I am still trying to get a refund because the order was not delivered to the requested recipient. (I have no clue whether the "old lady" is a neighbor of my mother, or how to track the order.)

I ordered flowers for my friend cause her Dad passed away, she got the flower and send me picture, was about half of flowers compared to original picture that I looked, I paid $110 including delivery charge and it’s only 20-30 dollars worth of flowers, I fell so embarrassed to send so much poor quality of flowers. I can’t believe the review is almost 4 stars!! How can these people get 4 stars? So nonsense.

Ordered flowers from them for MIL for 2nd time. First time they left flowers 2 buildings over and expected her to "find them". This time sent to SIL's so not to have similar problem. Asked them to be delivered on a certain day and did order 3 days in advance. Day came and went NO FLOWERS, when I called, they asked me to give them until end of business THE NEXT DAY, I did, NO FLOWERS. They then offered me 20% off next order!! Then 50% off of this NONDELIVERED order.
Finally got Hannah to say they would give me a full refund, NEVER DID. Then 4 days later they send me a picture of a box of flowers in front of door. Didn't bother to knock to see if anyone was there. THEY FLEW OUT THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. 4 DAYS AFTER FLOWERS WERE TO BE DELIVERED, NO ONE THERE, But then I really looked at the picture. NO SNOW, in a town that had just had a major snowstorm!! This is just a little of what happened. Flowers supposedly sent from CA to TN going to WA, calling FEDEX to find address was changed in CA WHY????

My aunt and uncle just went through a tough year and I wanted to send them flowers for their anniversary on Jan 1st. I found the perfect bouquet and ordered it with 1-800-Flowers, the Daydream Bouquet-XL. According to the picture, there are about 40 flowers, roses, carnations and daisies. The first delivery was pathetic, 2 roses, 4 daisies and 1 carnation for 80.00. I call, they offer to send another bouquet and it never gets delivered. I call again and they offer to reimburse the entire amount. Guess what, no refund. I call again and they agree to send another bouquet and refund half the money. The bouquet gets delivered and again the arrangement is not even close to what they advertise.
I understand they can make flower substitutions but what is created isn't even close. Don't order from this company because what you order isn't even close to what they deliver. I'm not sure why they even show pictures of what "you think you will get". Just say whatever we want to send, we will. They take your money with a promise of a beautiful bouquet and they deliver whatever they want. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. If all companies did that they'd be out of business. I know they use local florist, but they are responsible for ensuring the right bouquet is being fulfilled by the florist they use.

Ordered flowers for my significant other, Requested they show up on 12-4-23 using the calendar they provide you for shipping, paid 140+ dollars for flowers, some chocolates, and a stuffed bear. The bear shows up on the 2nd, the flowers show up on the 4th, and the chocolates showed up on the 6th. Why on earth would anyone want their surprise gift to show up in bits and pieces like this? Completely ruined the surprise and feel like I wasted my money. Why offer a calendar if you're just going to ship everything randomly as if I just ordered random stuff off of Amazon? Never buying here again, wish I could get a refund.

Last week for my birthday I received a lovely bouquet of flowers from my out of town sister from FTD.. The flowers were brought to my door and hand delivered. They were beautiful. The next day I got a call from my bother asking if I got my flowers which he ordered from 1-800-Flowers, I said I did not. The weather was very bad. I looked at my front and side door, no flowers.
The next day he told me that FedEx delivered the flowers and that there were in front of my garage. The flowers sat outside my garage overnight in 30 degree rainy night. The box fell apart and the flowers died the next day. I did not bother to call them because this is the second time this year I have had flowers delivered to me by them and they were dead. I am just telling everyone I know to use someone else. It is now almost a week later and the flowers I received from my sister from FTD are still as beautiful as the day they arrived.... Wake up 1800flowers!!! You have a lot of very bad reviews lately!

"Don't. Just don't" is all I can say. The first time I ordered from Flowers.com they just never delivered the order. I didn't find out until a couple of weeks after I had supposedly sent my stepmother flowers. I asked her if she got none because she had never called to say thank you which is unlike her and she said no. I had to call Flowers.com get a refund and they were very apologetic as I always are and delivered the order a few days later. They had absolutely no explanation on why it never got delivered. I made the mistake of ordering from them again. I ordered a candy cane striped lilies as a Christmas present for my stepmother. There was supposed to have been delivered on the 23rd.
They were delivered on the 27th which was 4 days late. I bettered them enough that they gave me back my delivery fee $16. They delivered them on the 27th but the problem was they were wilted. Once again Flowers.com was very apologetic and assured us that they would deliver a new bouquet on the 29th. I didn't realize until the next day. They left me a message and said that they could not fill the order but they wanted me to call them because they wanted to deliver something amazing. I got a notification today stating that they had delivered the order. They delivered two dozen roses. It is not what I ordered. They didn't really seem to care as long as they delivered something. Don't waste your time or money with this company. I did at least manage to get my money back.

I recently ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers for my sister’s birthday. The flowers were delivered an entire day late and pretty much dead on arrival. The company blames everything on storms but, there was no storm that week. These companies just take your money and you get what you get. $80 for dead flowers! I will never order from them again and will never recommend this company to anyone!

The very large spray of flowers were ordered for the funeral 6 days in advance. When the flowers had not arrive by noon on Monday, the day of her mother's funeral at 1pm, I called and was assured that they would be there by 1. The flowers showed up at 7pm that night. 6 hours after the funeral. My family was devastated. I called the company the next day and after 35 minutes on the phone, I was finally allowed to speak with a supervisor who previously, I was told was too busy to speak with me. The best Christine could come up with was a refund that I would receive in 7-10 days and an apology phone call to my significant other. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was refused. I asked to record her refusal and she ended the call. Please, never use this company.

If I could give this 0 stars I would! They don't even deserve one single star, don't waste your time or energy on this horrible place! They do nothing to fix the situations at all! I paid $100 for my mother to receive flowers as beautiful as the photos and it was a mistake thinking they would look the same. My mother has been sick with the flu for 3 weeks and I thought sending her flowers would at least put a smile on her face and I was WRONG!!! They supposedly attempted to deliver flowers 4 times and she finally received them BROWN!! BROWN DEAD FLOWERS THE LADY SAID SHE HAS HELD ON TO FOR 3 DAYS!!! HOW IS THIS OK??? Every single person I have talked to lied and did nothing at all. They don't care but will apologize a million and 1 times for nothing and do not care at all!! Horrible. Don't ever go to this place and think you will be happy. You will not!!!

Not recommended at all. Last year I couldn’t be with my wife for her birthday, so this year was very special. This crappie company never delivered the flowers. I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Not worth it. If you expecting a nice detail for your loved ones definitely use other services.

I wish zero stars was an option! I ordered an adorable puppy floral arrangement for my hospitalized 95-yr old grandmother. I spent $85 dollars on this arrangement. The arrangement looked like nothing like the order! When I tried to call for a resolution, I was disconnected after being on hold for 13 minutes. I then went onto the website and initiated a help chat. It took over an hour to reach even a somewhat satisfactory resolution. The rep even called me by the wrong name at one point.

Ordered from here twice. First time the order did not show up. It claimed delivered but was not there. It was a business and they had the name so it shouldn't be hard. So I called. They argued with me for awhile that it was out for delivery until they finally listened and actually checked. So they did replace it. Day late. Not great, but whatever. Placed another order weeks later. This time the order comes up delayed. I am somewhere that I cannot call, but I can use the chat to speak to them. Worst experience ever. I was disconnected about 6 times. The agent would say something and before I could even type a reply it would say I was dormant too long and disconnect. Had to call. Waited on hold forever. They said they could redeliver the next day, but this time cannot change the address for some reason.
The person will not be at that address the next day and if I change it then it will be 4 more days. Ridiculous. So I just canceled it. At this time I still haven't received the refund so it looks like I am going to have to call them again. I will never do business with this company again. I also left a review on their website and their suspiciously is barely any negative reviews. Pretty sure they delete them.

Please do not use this website to buy any flower for your own good. If you want to buy flowers or friends and family or yourself, or anyone, there are so many other options. I tried to order a sympathy bouquet for my friend, but soon realized that I ordered the one with the wrong vase. So I went on the chat to cancel the order. I was told the order was just placed, so I needed to wait for 30 minutes for it to process to cancel it. I waited 30 minutes and went on the chat again to cancel. I was told the order was successfully canceled and I will get my returns in 1-2 days. (I have a screenshot of the chat too)
However, I never get my refund, and I had to pay for two orders. I went on the chat to ask for the refund, but the agent tried to ignore me--not kidding I know it sounds ridiculous, but I had to wait for 11 minutes and keep asking if the agent was still there to get the response. When she finally respond, she said there was nothing she could do, and she just ended the chat.

My family received the 1-800-Flowers.com Sympathy Blooming Garden after the death of a family member. It looked nothing like what the advertised plant looked like. When taken out of the packaging, leaves & flowers were either dead or broken. It was a very big disappointment to say the least. I called customer service to complain. The representative couldn't have been more helpful. She had a replacement sent out immediately. Unfortunately, that one wasn't much better. I will most definitely never use or recommend 1-800 FLOWERS.COM again.

Delivered a dead plant to a recovering cancer patient and then haggled over the amount of the refund when customer service was contacted. I can't really think of a less classy way to do business, but when one is discovered, trust that they will be all over it.

#ChrisMcCann CEO of #1800Flowers was unable to deliver joy, comfort or support with my gift to a newborn baby. I received confirmation that my gift package was delivered only to find out a month later that in fact it was not. I contacted the support team, they guaranteed it would be re-delivered. I received another confirmation of delivery and again, no show. I contacted them again and they acknowledged a delivery problem and guaranteed another delivery. Guess what? It never happened for a third time. They credited me what I paid for the gift and offered me a $20 gift card toward my next purchase. I trusted this company to make me look good as I sent a gift. For a company that is in the business of sending joy, comfort and support, I experienced none of that. What I did experience was an embarrassing runaround that trickled down to the recipient.

Ordered a fruit bouquet for my daughter's bday- it wasn’t delivered even after numerous calls to check in status and being told it would be delivered by 8pm. An email Said it would be redelivered, I assumed the next day. Called the next day and was assured that it would be delivered that day and was given a shipping $credit and a 20$ store credit for “my inconvenience”. Got an email an hour later that it wouldn't be delivered until the following day! Called AGAIN and was told that they put in a reorder and now it wasn’t going to be delivered until the next day.
Asked them to call the shop and they couldn’t get ahold of them. Asked for another credit or something and was told They couldn’t. Asked for a supervisor who told Me the same thing and that my only options were to have it delivered 2 days late or cancel for a refund- when I asked how they can just deliver any time they want she replied there was nothing she could do. So mad! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are also affiliated with fruit bouquets.com

Placed an order for a medium flower arrangement in vase to be delivered to friend in local hospital in time for same day delivery. 1) Site failed to allow me to use the TWENTY percent discount code it offered. Called customer service after placing order and was promised that they would correct this with a 20% discount refunded to my credit card. 2) Later, same customer agent called to tell me they missed the delivery guy and would not deliver until tomorrow. Promised to refund full delivery cost to my credit card due to inconvenience. 3) It has been 1 month and ZERO REFUNDS to my card. 4) I will give them an excellent grade on the flower arrangement they delivered.

For our Anniversary I looked at a few flower delivery company and decided to go with 1-800-Flowers.com. I ordered 4 dozen long stem roses, 2 Mylar balloons, and a personalized card, for $262.32. The amount was immediately deducted from account, product was to be delivered before end of business day of our anniversary. I reviewed the confirmation and seen a delivery time of up to 8pm. The University she works for stays open until 10pm, so I believed if she did not receive them before 6pm, they would be there the next day. The next morning when she arrived, the receptionist said no flowers were delivered. I call the customer service line, at this time they said there were no long stems available, and they called to ask about an alternate arrangement.
I explained, I did not have a message or missed call, and I would like the Long stems and my order if available today. I was then told the balloons and card would not be available and we agreed to a delivery this day of 6 dozen red long stems. At the end of the business day, no delivery again, I called customer service. I was told that they processed the delivery for the next day, and was told they have the balloon, 5 dozen long stem roses and the personalized card now. I agreed and called my wife to explain. Later that night, I received a call that 1-800-Flowers.com had no vendors in the city with long stem roses, and asked if I would accept 2 dozen roses, a teddy bear, and $80 refund.
Appalled, I declined and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was put on hold four times, the first 3 times the same gentleman, returned to the call with an offer of a comparable arrangement and $20 off next purchase. Each time I declined and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told the supervisors were all busy on calls the first two times, then that no supervisors were on a shift, and last that the customer service rep works from home and does not have contact with any supervisors. After 1 hour 27 minutes I received a refund notice. During this process my wife called 5 floral shops, that had long stem red roses in their cooler, all of which do contracts for 1-800-Flowers.com.

I ordered flowers and windchimes from 1-800-FLOWERS to have delivered to friends that travelled out of state for a funeral for the loss of a loved one. The quality of flowers that was ordered vs what was delivered was night and day. I was completely embarrassed when the recipient sent a photo of what they received. I spent almost an hour on chat with a customer service agent who kept apologizing for delivering the gift on the wrong date which was never the issue. They offered a redelivery and full refund with a $20 off coupon to use them again. Then they offered JUST a redelivery and no refund or coupon. Gina assured me the order would be delivered the following day.
A few minutes later, I got a phone call from 1-800-FLOWERS with a message saying they could NOT deliver the next day and I had to start over and call their customer service number to make arrangements for a new delivery. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, the new rep (Denise) said they can deliver the flowers in a couple days but they have to cancel the order for the windchimes. I had a hard time hearing her because there were kids screaming and a loud television in the background. So as it now sits, I am hoping for a redelivery in a couple of days and the other half of my order was cancelled. If I want to resend it, I have to place a new order. AND I have to wait 2 weeks for the money to be refunded. I will NEVER use this company again.

Extraordinarily BAD SERVICE! Tried to order flowers for delivery to an out of town funeral. I needed to designate a time the flowers had to be delivered by. There was no place on the order form for that. I got on the "chat" and had to go through 3 different agents all of whom gave me the PC "double talk" over and over but refused to commit to a "not later than" delivery. I finally called "customer service" and placed the order. Well checked my bank account over a low balance warning and it seems that 1-800-Flowers will run your credit card TWICE and not only charge it outright, but "reserve an equal balance for an additional "24 hours" after the charge has actually been paid by the bank". Well it's been 72 hours and they still have $152 of my money locked up.
Contacted customer service again and agent continues to repeat the card note that the money will be released 24 hours after the original charge is completed. Asked to speak to a supervisor. I had to hold for for over an hour who first tried to "educate me" on how online purchases work, and when I called ** he transferred me to his accounting department. Who said the charge would remain for 3-5 business days. What a mess! Bank says (and they are very reliable) they charged me twice. So we wait 3-5 days $152 short to see if the additional charge falls off. I will NEVER patronize this company again!

I do not normally write negative reviews. Although, I express my complete disappointment with this service time and time again. They have not once got an order correct or delivered something I can be proud of. Out of each flower selection, I order the most expensive one and the delivered product looks like they chose flowers in the NYC subway. There is no care and craftsmanship that goes into their work. The quality of service and product in the worst I have ever dealt with. If you go to their website, you cannot even find an email to customer service. You must call which takes forever. This is probably their tactic, so customers do not get their refunds.
On my most recent and last delivery, I will order with them, they delivered flowers that could not be any different from what is marketed on their website. Furthermore, I paid to have a special card delivered with the order but instead, they provided an index card with my message. I cannot believe the disrespect they show to your customers. This platform does not allow me to post a picture of my order today (9.7.222) that compares what they advertise vs what was delivered so please look on other platforms for my image. I AM DOING YOU ALL A SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

I placed an order (#**) on 8/30 around noon to be delivered the same day to my cousin in Seattle (Zip Code 98118). At 6:38pm I received an email from 1-800-Flowers stating that the florist attempted to deliver the gift but was unable to do so. However, the order tracker never showed my gift to be out for delivery. The next morning, 8/31, at 8:40am I received another email from 1-800-Flowers stating that my order had been delivered. The recipient never received my gift so I called and spoke to a customer service supervisor that reached out to the florist and confirmed that they never attempted to deliver my gift. They also informed me that it was too late for them to attempt to deliver it. The supervisor told me she would reimburse me 50% off of my order, apply free shipping, and give me a coupon for my next order.
My original order was was resubmitted by her which generated a new order #** that was supposed to be delivered on 9/1. On 9/1 I received an email letting me know the new order was received but again the recipient never received it. I called twice to speak with a supervisor but nobody was available. I did get through the 3rd time and the person I spoke to didn't seem to care or show any empathy towards my situation. He told me my order could still be received up until 8pm. He didn’t listen to my whole story and tried to offer me free shipping again… I explained I already had free shipping and at this point I need to be fully reimbursed. He refused to reimburse me and said the most he could do was 25% off of what was already discounted. He wouldn’t reach out to the florist for updates and told me I needed to wait until after 8pm.
My recipient still has not received my gift and I can’t spend hours on hold to speak to your customer service representatives for the 4th day in a row. The recipient is a 12 year old girl that was severely injured in a car accident. Not only has she been waiting for a special gift but every time I get an email from you guys she gets excited only to find that nothing came. This is extremely disappointing to us. The most frustrating part is that this isn’t the 1st time this happened when I used your services. In September 2020 I placed an order that was not received and when it was only part of it came and I was charged twice for it. Then the other part of the order came and looked disgusting and embarrassing. This was order #**. I was reimbursed for this one and given a $20 off coupon but could not use it for this purchase cause it expired.

I’ve ordered from this company before (12 years ago) actually. Cannot believe something like this happened. I ordered in time (4 days) so that if it was a problem my order. It could’ve been resolved earlier before the due delivery date. Instead, the entire situation was totally unacceptable customer service. Therefore, I learned my order was rejected but my money was accepted 4 days prior. The rejection of my order was on the DELIVERY DATE! What the hell! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD WITH ANY COMPANY THIS YEAR. I ORDERED THE FLOWERS (over $150) order for a very special lady. I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday and paid extra to get them delivered on her birthday. However, when I spoke to her, they never got there. They didn't tell me this, I found out by calling my sister. Each time I called them, they promised that they would personally make sure she the flowers that day... Then they would not deliver them and not call me. It took me six calls and three days before they actually delivered the flowers...and they arrived dead. They replaced them only after my sister complained repeatedly, and they grudgingly offered me a $20 credit.
I should have realized at this point that the company was not the company it used to be, but hoping my first experience was a fluke, I ordered flowers for a friend, choosing a pretty arrangement to be sent the next day. Instead, I got a call the next day saying they couldn't send them, but could send a different arrangement, which would arrive a week later. They seemed put out that I wanted to know what arrangement would be sent instead, and when I finally got them to give me the order number so I could see it, it was totally inappropriate (lilies -- funeral flowers -- for someone who was recovering from an illness), plus the arrangement they wanted to send was a lot cheaper (but they did not offer to refund the difference).
It appears they were trying to bait and switch, sending a cheaper arrangement to offset the $20 credit. The person on the phone was completely incompetent, couldn't answer questions, and couldn't understand why I would be unhappy about paying one price for a much cheaper arrangement that would arrive a week later. Terrible service, and it appears they are completely unreliable these days. Avoid this company at all costs. There's no quality control, no service, and if you do get flowers delivered, there's no guarantee they'll be alive.

I ordered an arrangement through this company 3 days before delivery. It was required that the delivery be made at or before 11 am. I communicated that to them and they said that was not a problem. The day of the delivery I received a confirmation that it was delivered at 1:58 pm. The funeral was over and the bereaved had left. I requested a full refund since they didn’t deliver when they said they would. They refused so I had to dispute it through my credit card. You have been warned. I’ve seen many other reviewers say similar thing about this company.

My best friend was ecstatic about the flowers, I ordered 12 long stem Roses in a beautiful vase. The delivery woman was friendly and wished my best friend a happy birthday. Thank you 1-800-Flowers.

When you order Flowers for your Mom’s birthday you expect them to arrive on that day. After three calls making sure they would be delivered I found out they did not deliver them. They did not apologize and the customer service rep even laughed at me. I can’t tell you how upset I was after spending $100 to get some flowers to my Mom on her birthday. They do not have real customer service. What they are is a good phone number that they have turned into a heartless company. How can you not deliver flowers on the actual birthday. You end up talking to a robotic person who does nothing for you and probably hates their job. They offered to not charge for extra fee I paid to have it delivered the next day. That is not customer service.
The call center is not in the US and they seemed to take joy in my being upset. It’s like me being upset made her day. I called them 3 times and all was good. Then she was like the delivery window is 9-8. You can’t get in touch with the actual flower shop who botched the delivery. I asked what would happen if they delivered flowers late for a funeral and she said they give you 50% back. They do not understand what the business they are in is. It’s an event company and if you miss the event you failed and should own up to it. What good is sending flowers to my Mom the day after her birthday? That why I paid $100. I paid $100 to have them delivered on her d*mn birthday. She also told me nothing is guaranteed. Do not trust this scam of a company. They are heartless gold diggers.

I have ordered from 1-800-Flowers several times and each experience gets worse. It started with roses whose petals fell off as I unboxed them and progressed to unreliable deliveries and customer service agents who don’t know how to rectify an issue. My most recent order was for my mother in the hospital. Shortly after placing the order I received a call asking if I would approve the delivery for the next day, versus same day.
I approved the request but it turned out they were not delivered the next day. In fact I didn't receive an email or phone call…I had to call the company to ask about the status of the order. I was Informed the florist did not have all of the flowers shown in the arrangement. So rather than making substitutions or contacting me, they just didn’t make and deliver an arrangement at all! The company rep apologized and refunded my $5.99 service fee but said there was nothing else that could be done. In the future I will call a local florist and place my order directly. I will Never use this company again

So, I don't usually do reviews, but this has happened to me 2 times now. A friend passed away last week and we ordered flowers for the funeral. Received both email and text confirmation of the order. When I asked the family if they received them, they indeed had NOT! How embarrassing, humiliating, angry... words just don't describe the feelings. I used this company quite a lot... but no more. This also happened about 7-8 years ago. Who would have thought it would happen again.

Absolutely horrible service! Ordered flowers that were specially curated for someone’s funeral on the 1-800 page that they had developed in conjunction with the funeral home etc., to only get a call (after the order had been confirmed) the very next morning (today) at 6:30 AM saying that the order cannot be fulfilled. What? They tell me that they cannot deliver because there’s no floral shop in that area. Again, what? In the specific curated page for this particular individual, they had the pre-populated ZIP Code with the selections for that ZIP Code so their explanation is absolutely absurd and ridiculous, and frankly unacceptable! How can you tell me the day that they’re supposed to be delivered for condolences that it’s going to be delivered from the farm or another florist the following Thursday. Again, what?
How dare you bait and switch. And the only way that these recipients can receive any sort of arrangement today as confirmed already from the company is getting it via FedEx in a box - really??? Not to mention a cheaper version of what I originally selected and absolutely no mention of a revised total or some sort of refund for the inconvenience and the bait and switch. Absolutely fraudulent, ridiculous, unprofessional and inappropriate and I will NEVER use them again!

Ordered flowers for my mother in Tennessee. They had a birthday cake made from flowers I ordered that. They called the next day and said we cannot do the cake would you like something else, so I agreed on a dog made from flowers, my mom sent a picture and said thanks for the flowers! It was a regular cheap bouquet of flowers! 2 roses and daisy! I paid over $65. They would not refund my money told me they could give me a $20 gift card. Talked to friends and they had the same issue!! They sell you 1 thing and send something else! Then they said, "Well the flowers were excepted (by someone who has no idea what was ordered!)." Ordered a huge Birthday flower arrangement for my friend. The system defaulted to the next day for delivery although I put in this Friday, to the tune of $130.00. Once I received the email that it was confirmed, I checked the delivery date and it was incorrect. I called immediately and was told that it was already in their system and could not be changed. I ordered my son's new wife flowers for her Birthday (7 days in advance), I received an email that the flowers were delivered. I didn't hear from her so I asked my son and he said they were not received. I called customer service the next day (Saturday) and expressed my disappointment, the representative assured me that the flowers would be re-sent on Monday, he would make sure. I received another email on Monday that they were delivered. I checked with my son and they were not. I called back, after waiting for quite some time I got a rep and she said the florist has until 8 pm to deliver. She said a rep would call me back at 8. They never did. I called yet again on Tuesday and demanded a refund. They tried to get me to let them try again! The Birthday was 4 days ago! Never again will I order from them!

I would not recommend anyone to use them, since last Saturday I have been trying to get flowers delivered to someone who has recently lost a family member. The first time they claim they could not deliver to the home, and the second time they could not locate the funeral home, which is a very popular funeral home in the area. So I spoke to customer service and gave them the information on the day of service so the flowers can be delivered on that day. The florist then says that, "The church was closed on the day of the service. Can we deliver somewhere else"!!!! I am so upset the flowers were never delivered and I am still waiting for a full refund. Please do not believe the reviews or the hype.

One hour AFTER the funeral service, we got a call saying they were not able to complete the order. When I called to find out why, they told me the florist didn't have the flowers in stock. WHAT?! I tried this company TEN YEARS AGO and had a horrible experience, swore I would never do it again, but I thought they may have gotten their services in order by now and ordered an arrangement for my mother's 60th birthday. If you choose not to read any further just let me tell you, by any means possible, do not trust this company to fulfill your order how you paid for it to be or be refunded for a terrible experience. Do not go thru them. Save yourself the grief.
But, let me start off by stating I ordered a $72 ARRANGEMENT WITH 2 DIFFERENT COLORED ROSES. Understanding that if roses are not available (what flower shop in the history of the USA does not have roses in the month of May), a flower of EQUAL OR HIGHER VALUE would be used instead. I also ordered a box of chocolates and a mylar balloon, a rushed delivery before noon, all totaling out to $97. First off, the driver did not even follow the instructions on drop off location, they were placed in the wrong office to a random person that was not my mother, WITHOUT the chocolates or balloon. Thankfully my mother has been at her practice for 40 years and everyone in the building knows her, so the employee on the first floor delivered them up to her on the third floor - what I paid this company to do.
Next, my mother receives daisies, baby's breath and other low-grade flowers I could have picked from my backyard instead of the multiple colored arrangement of ALL ROSES I picked out. No chocolates, no balloons, no hand delivery from the company. I am aggravated, but not extremely mad at this point. I get in touch with customer service via email like they recommend you do if anything is wrong. I tell them my horrible experience, they tell me I'll be reimbursed for the chocolates and balloons that were not delivered. A week later I still have not received that reimbursement. I've finally received an email back saying they can offer me a measly 20% of what I paid in recognition of my disappointment towards their horrible service.
I have been in customer service for 15 years, and I would never have the audacity to keep someone's money who a. did not receive what they paid for or b. is extremely upset with the services rendered. I then call to speak with customer service to tell them my excruciating experience thus far, and they sass me, repeat that 20% is the best they can do and then hang up on me!!! I'm telling you I have not been this mad in a very long time.
This company is a bunch of crooks who scam people off their love for other people thinking they're going to have a marvelous surprise on their special day. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. And coincidentally, you cannot find any way to leave Google reviews on them YET they are the first company to pop up when you search for "flower delivery near me" or any search close to that wording. THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND HORRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS WHO DO NOT HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.

Truly abysmal company. I sent two sets of flowers for two mothers on Mother's Day. The first order made it although the photo of the orchid online and the orchid my mother in law actually received were VERY DIFFERENT, and the tiny orchid was not worth the amount spent. I also received 6 calls between 2:45am-6am and three emails about a fruit bouquet which I did not order. I called back and emailed back and no one knew of any issue. I complained on Twitter and 1-800-Flowers sent me a $20 savings code I didn't ask for, apparently in response, after an hour of chatting to follow up on my order details. And then I found out the second order of flowers to my own mother was never even delivered. 1-800-Flowers did not even tell me it wasn't delivered, I had to log in to my account to see the order was not delivered, ten days later. So my mother did not receive her flowers on Mother's Day.
When I called to see what the issue, the rep confirmed that indeed no flowers had been sent and offered either to refund or to replace the flowers and offered the same $20 savings pass for future order. Now, a replacement does not replace the flowers that should have been sent on Mother's Day, does it? It completely defeats the purpose. And why would I ever use a savings pass to ever place a future order when I don't trust the company to actually place the order?
The rep responded that they would offer a 10% discount instead - that's right, $6.00 to compensate for the hours of sleep I lost and the fact that this company had every intention of taking my money and never sending the flowers I ordered. After 20 minutes on the phone I finally just asked for a refund and the line mysteriously disconnected before the refund was even completed. I cannot imagine the millions of customers 1-800-Flowers must treat this way. Even after having the opportunity to make it right, TWICE, they couldn't do the right thing. This company should not be in business.

1800 FLOWERS ARE TERRIBLE. We purchased flowers and a personalized card (March 31) for a friend who lost her husband in late March. We wanted to give our friend time to mourn as she said she would call us when she can. Well, she called yesterday (May 14) and in conversation and talking about everything it came up about the flowers that they got, etc. and my wife said, "You got our flowers that we sent to your house, right?" "No, I did not receive any flowers from you unless I missed them." First off, we aren’t going to call anyone to see if they got our flowers as that would be very tacky like you are looking for a thank you or something. So, then I go back to my purchase on their website and it says they were delivered by local flower shop. Then I call to find out what is going on and after several minutes he came back on to say the local shop didn’t deliver – they rejected order for delivery or some such thing.
Now, their website shows DELIVERED and they have $115 of our money but they have in their notes it was rejected BUT THEY KEPT MY MONEY AND DIDN’T TELL ME?? He says he can give me a full refund IF I WANT. What do you mean “IF I WANT?”. Are you serious? I want DOUBLE FULL REFUND for this THEFT. Long story short, he gives full refund and a $20 credit for future purchase. I will tell you there will never be a future purchase from 1-800-FLOWERS. Now I am wondering how many millions of dollars they have kept of peoples’ money over the years and the people have no idea because it says DELIVERED on the website. I really think there should be an investigation into this company.

I have never written a review in my life but this was the worst experience. I thought maybe the negative reviews were exaggerating but NOPE this company is the worst. My sister and I both (on separate days from separate locations) placed orders for our mother for Mother’s Day. Not only did my order not get delivered, but neither did my sister’s! So my mother received NOTHING for Mother’s Day! We contacted them the day before and they confirmed both bouquets were set to be delivered. We contacted them that morning and received the same confirmation — no delivery. Now the day after Mother’s Day, they are offering delivery tomorrow (2 days late!) and we don’t even know if they will arrive or not.
My poor mom. I can’t even imagine if this were for a more important occasion. Obviously “confirmation” simply means they confirm they’ve taken your money, with no guarantee to meet their service agreements on their end. Oh btw, They’re offering me a $20 gift card as compensation, as if I have any interest in spending any more money with them. Please just try any other company.

I ordered flowers for my Mother to be delivered anytime between May 6th-8th 2022. They never delivered the flowers. After waiting on hold for 90 minutes today with their Customer Service Department they offered to deliver the flowers by May 13th which is five days outside of their delivery window. What this tells me is that they took my money knowing that they could not deliver within the promised time frame. This is a disgusting business practice.

Simply put: (1) I ordered flowers for my wife for mother's day; (2) Because I was ordering only 36 hours before the date, I called to make sure delivery was still possible for the occasion and was told "Yes, for sure!" (3) flowers never came; (4) I tried calling customer service -- no luck. I tried emailing, no reply. I used the text-messaging service and got a reply finally; (5) agent apologized and offered a $20 gift coupon for next order and a 50% refund on the flowers and a redelivery in a couple of days. He added that there would be no charge for redelivery, as if ANYONE would accept such a charge!
(6) I said I didn't need a coupon and should receive a full refund AND redelivery; (7) As though I had not said the previous, he simply processed the full refund and ended the chat; (8) the process took more than a half-hour, even though I made it clear from the beginning what I was requesting. 35 minutes of texting about a 1800flowers failure, just to get a refund. Terrible customer service--almost impossible to get someone "live". Ridiculous that they would promise delivery for a special occasion and then fail to deliver.

Horrible Company. They don’t deserve anyone's business. Both Chat & Phone calls are useless. Pretty sure your customer service agent I talked to on the phone was high on drugs. He kept repeating himself & slurring his words. You could do better by actually attempting to make a phone call to a different florist to at least try to get something out when an order has been marked delivered but never was. Today is Mother’s Day and there is no time for me to do something different for my mom, especially since I live in another state. On top of that, now I have to wait 1-2 billing cycles to even get a refund. Poor customer service, not enough ways to make it right with the customer. I will NEVER rely on 1-800-Flowers.com again & I will leave poor reviews everywhere I can in hopes this doesn’t happen to someone else.

Online ordered flowers for a family visitation and funeral 4 days in advance of the service indicating the time of the service and that delivery must be made before the service time. The flowers didn't arrive in time for the service. I tried to track the delivery time but the time of day isn't included in their tracking data. A family member told me they arrived at the funeral home 2.5 hours after the service started and 1 hour after the conclusion of the services. Attempted to find a delivery time online and via the phone contact with Customer Service without success. The Customer Service experience wasn't good. Run away from this organization and find a local florist to provide services.

I ordered flower delivery for my wife for mother's day. They were delivered, when promised, BUT, in a vase, without water, at the end of the day, by FEDEX and dropped by the front door, all wilted AND with less than half the flowers ordered and pictured on the order. Then when I called them to come pick them up they said they do not do that, but they can deliver another set (of similar garbage, I suspect) which I declined, so they offered only a 50% refund, take it or leave it. While I took it, I plan to dispute the charge, with evidence and pictures AND NEVER use their service again and badmouth them to the full extent free speech allows.

I received a voicemail of the cancellation the day of scheduled delivery, from someone I couldn’t understand, and did not receive an email. Yes, Mother's day is challenging for florists. So I ordered flowers for delivery on the Friday before Mother's day, hoping to avoid the rush. They confirmed my order, but it was not delivered on Friday. I called early on Saturday (still before Mother's day), and they said they were out of my selection. But now that it was the day before Mother's day, my two dozen roses would be double in price, and they couldn't be delivered till Tuesday after Mother's day. This discussion was made more difficult as the representative was clearly not a native English speaker. I was able to cancel my order without difficulty. Go somewhere else - 1800flowers is not reliable.

I ordered an arrangement and I got a box of flowers with a vase. We had to arrange them ourselves. Then they billed me twice for the same order and lied and said that the bank placed an authorization hold and there was not 2 transactions. The bank denied that of course. Then they said that they were going to fax the bank a request to release the funds back in my account within 24 to 48 hours. They lied to me so many times so I had to dispute the charges with my bank. I will never use this company again and advise everyone to proceed with caution. They showed no concern and I have not received my money yet. Another rep said that it will take up to 5 days.

The flowers I ordered did not arrived on May 4. I called customer service and they told me the flowers will arrive May 10. Since I paid for May 4 date, I was not happy. Today, just got a confirmed message from the recipient that they did indeed got the flowers today May 5, not May 4 which was the date I paid for 5 days in advance. The date, May 4 was very important, but at least they got it a day late. 3 stars I give them because it was hard for me understand what went wrong and they told me it was going to be delivered on May 10. Dates of delivery are very important.

He then told me it will be delivered in May 10, I told him that is too late and to cancel the order, he then offered me a voucher for 20 dollars and said he can move the delivery for May 5, then he said May 6 (mind you he put me on hold several times and kept repeating himself). I told him he sounded unsure and if I could speak to some else, he again apologize and put me on hold, then the call got conveniently “disconnected“.
I called again the next day and a lady told me the flowers will me delivered on May 10. I told her that will not do, that the reason I ordered them on April 30 is so they will arrive on May 4. I asked for a refund. She said she will do that and it will take 10 business days. I will check and see if the refund will go through. Next time, I’ll call a local florist and have their business. I am a passport member but, I will never do it again. Horrible service. Now I will have to check if the other orders I placed arrived since a lot of people have put on here that they never got their order.

So here I am to write a review about my wonderful experience with 1-800 Flowers and their family of brands. I ordered gifts from 3 of their 12 different brand for 4 wonderful wonderful mothers this Mother's Day and each was delivered today exactly on scheduled and exceptionally beautiful. Two mothers received flowers and they instantly called me to say how beautiful they looked. One other mother received a gift basket and she sent me a picture of it once received, amazed by how elegant it looked. The final mother received a bucket of popcorn (her favorite nighttime snack) and instantly sent a picture followed by exclaiming how happy she was. Four mothers, four gifts, four euphoric smiles.
The only area this company struggles with is their "Same Day Deliver" option for flowers. With this option, 1-800 Flowers works with thousands of local floral shops around the country in order to give you the ability to have flowers delivered to you, same day. This part is where 99% of their bad reviews come from. 1-800 Flowers strategically brings volume into all these local shops just by using their brand. The issue you are asking? Well, all these shops don't always have the physical manpower to fulfill and deliver these orders, especially on high volume days such as Valentines Day for example (even though you'd think these shops would bring in extra people on these days to help with orders otherwise they are leaving thousands of dollars of revenue left behind).
If all goes right, then it's a win-win for both 1-800 Flowers and the local shop. But if something goes wrong and because 1-800 Flowers has made an agreement with these local shops to not give out their info to the customer placing the order, who do you think the customer gets mad at when the local shop can't fulfill the order? 1800 Flowers. Because that's is the only entity available for them to get mad at, even though the fault is on the local shop every...single...time.
Now that you know this, please be aware that 1-800 Flowers have their own warehouses where they build their own beautiful flower sets and ship them to consumers the next day via a UPS or FedEx carrier. I have spent hours at this point, since AS SOON AS I PLACED MY ORDER, trying to CORRECT, not change, my delivery date. I specified 5/6 delivery. The website then directed me to the app. I signed in on the app to pay. It never again asked me for delivery date. AS SOON AS I PAID, it said 5/3 delivery. I called right away and was told I needed to call back in half hour. THEN, I was told I could not modify or change the order. After two calls and about three chats, I was told it would be delivered 5/6. Yesterday I get a shipping confirmation. I call again and am told it would be delivered 5/6. Well today I get notification it was DELIVERED.. TODAY 5/3 with no one there I think to receive the flowers, which is why I specified 5/6!!!! HORRIBLE. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!

I ordered 2 dozen long stem yellow roses in a vase for my mother's 70th birthday. She received a bouquet of yellow sunflowers. Here is the play-by-play on the fight for the refund: I called 1-800-Flowers and asked for a refund for the flowers and for the passport pass and told them I will not be ordering again. They offered me a $20 store voucher and they would send the correct flowers. I refused and said I wanted a full refund for the flowers and the pass because this was not what I ordered and voucher is unacceptable because I will not order again. I was put on hold and offered a 50% refund with no replacement flowers.
I again refused and was put on hold again. The rep came back and said she would refund me for the flowers only but the florist would be going to my mom's house to retrieve the flowers that were delivered, but she would have to transfer me to another department to get a refund on the passport. I then sat on hold and had to argue with the passport rep to get a refund for $19.99 for the shipping passport and after 20 minutes of fighting for that, I was told it would take 30-45 days for the refund to show up on my card.
Here is the LIE: I was told if I accepted a 100% refund that the florist would return to my mom's house to retrieve the sunflowers. I called my mom after hanging up the phone to let her know and she was confused because the flowers weren't delivered by any florist. The flowers were delivered by FEDEX in a BOX. I could get behind this company if the customer service at the very least acknowledged their mistake, refunded my money and I didn't have to waste my lunch hour dealing with this nonsense.

I have ordered countless flowers from 1800 flowers with no problems. I have been a celebration member for years. The last 2 orders say delivered, but the recipients never received the items I ordered. You deal with a virtual assistant and they offer a partial refund..for flowers they never got. 1800 flowers has lost the importance of sending and RECEIVING orders on the day you schedule. I will NEVER use 1800flowers again.

We placed an order for our mother on a Monday to have the delivery arrive on that Friday (same week). We followed the order with the tracking they provide. We were excited to see that it was delivered. It was not. We looked all over outside of the house while on the phone with customer service. They insisted it was there. They tried to contact the driver but as it was 6:01 the driver wouldn’t answer. Their shifts end at 6. We asked to speak to a supervisor about 3 times. We were denied. Then finally after a bit of back and forth and sheer disrespect for us as people, they said that they would place us on with their supervisor. We explained the situation as our mother won’t be anywhere in the area to receive flowers again.
We were extremely upset. Haven’t been able to take care of her in years due to the pandemic and can’t even get flowers sent to her. We spent a ridiculous amount of money too. We actually got them to refund us the whole amount. Of course they tell you the bank needs to clear it so now we’re out the money needed to get her proper flowers. They showed up the next day damaged and gross. We refused the delivery. We got money together, my siblings and I, and went the night before to buy her an arrangement at a local florist. Much cheaper and much prettier. We won’t ever use this company again. You shouldn’t either. After hearing all the other awful experiences on other reviewing sites after the fact we should have researched more. No one should use this company ever. Completely dishonest and disorganized; no respect for their customers. Shameful.

I called on March 29 to order a bouquet of flowers for my mom's birthday. I asked for it to be delivered at a certain day & time. So when the time had been & gone I called 1 800 Flowers to see what happened. I got the automated response that it was out for delivery, but I asked for a customer service representative as I wanted to see what the time frame for my product to arrive as my mother was getting off work soon.
So after speaking to the representative & he kept saying my name wrong & being on hold for 3 minutes or so. He comes back to me & says "oh I'm sorry the florist rejected the order as they couldn't fulfill the order," but I never got a email or call stating that so that I could have maybe ordered something else or from somewhere else so she could have had it on her birthday. They had over 48hrs to inform me of this. All 1 800 Flowers could do is say sorry. But they couldn't explain why there was a discrepancy from the automated to a live person. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! If you don't want someone's special day ruined don't order from here.

We ordered flowers for a funeral and had it scheduled to come in the day before and even paid a fee for it. Useless when it comes in the day after the funeral and it was the wrong colors. These things matter. Purple was her favorite color not pink. Never using them again and you shouldn't either. Do your research because they horrible ratings everywhere. I created an account just to warn people. Too expensive and hidden fees for ** service. Work directly with a shop and pay the few extra bucks it might be.

I called at 3 pm on my lunch break and was told it was gonna get delivered today only to find out she wasn't gonna get it on March 18 on her birthday and it will be delivered March 19. I'm pissed off and unsatisfied. I called the supervisor and still that was useless. No satisfaction whatsoever. The florist didn't keep the guideline of my granddaughter delivery. This is uncall for. (I'll let you know if I ever receive a refund.) This isn't the first time I've had problems but, thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, boy was I wrong. I was a loyal longtime customer but their poor service caused me to cancel my membership. I wanted to add my AARP discount as advertised, but they didn't acknowledge or honor that request. My repeated requests for a supervisor were denied. My requests for a fax number or email address to the corporate office was denied. My request to have a manager email me was denied. There's no way to reach anyone above line level, so they just lost a customer and will probably never know why. They don't offer any reasonable means to reach anyone at a supervisory level there.

Will absolutely NEVER order from them again! Ordered flowers on the 26th for my girlfriend to give her dying mother to be delivered on the 28th by 8 pm. Due to Covid, she's not been allowed to visit so I thought it might make her feel better if a piece of her was there since she couldn't be. The flowers never showed up. Had a confirmation email, was able to track the order, and still showed up in the system but they cancelled the order due to "suspected fraudulent email". What the hell is fraudulent email? And they never even contacted me to tell me that the order was cancelled. No call. No email. Nothing. They called in immediate family today to say their goodbyes. So she's there now and noticed the flowers never came.
The first representative I spoke to offered to call her and let her know why the flower delivery was canceled. So his solution was to call someone who is sitting at the bedside of their dying mother to tell them that they canceled the flowers due to fraudulent email. He wanted to interrupt her time to explain this nonsense instead of just sending me an email so that I could screenshot it and send it to her about what happened. The second representative did a replacement order and took a whole $6 off my order. Six dollars.
Now the delivery is supposed to be tomorrow sometime between 9:00 and 5:00. This woman is dying and the one thing I could offer my girlfriend to console her is these flowers. She could be dead tomorrow. So she's upset and I'm made to look like I canceled the order and just reordered last minute. My name and my word is at stake here. She's not even speaking to me now. So I asked the representative what happens if she's dead tomorrow when the flowers arrive and there's nowhere to deliver them to because she's in a morgue? This woman told me she's going to pray. She totally admitted fault on the company's behalf, but the price of my word and my name is $6. The one thing I could have done for my girlfriend in this time, and I let her down. The company won't get blamed for this, I will.
So I'm telling everybody now, you take a gamble on if your flowers are going to be delivered and you won't even know anything about it if they cancel because they don't inform you. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and every website I can find. They will right this wrong. At this point I shouldn't have to pay anything. And whoever the person was who canceled my order without informing me should be terminated. I plan to take this as far as it'll go.

My daughter ordered flowers for my birthday, they arrived 4 days late and without leaves or any live buds. 1-800-Flowers sent me dead stems. I called and they offered replacements which have not shown up with 3 different delivery dates and 3 different order numbers. When I call, all of the replacement orders are mysteriously listed as cancelled. The CS agents will not allow me to speak with a supervisor nor will they provide my daughter with a refund for fraudulently keeping her money and providing me with an inferior product. My recommendation is to give this company a very poor rating and encourage potential customers to avoid doing business with 1800flowers.

I have been trying to give 1-800-Flowers several chances!! They screwed up my order too many times!. The last one was today February 24th, 2022. I placed an order for sympathy flower, my manager son passed away due to car accident. I spent more than 45 minutes ordering my flowers and a sympathy message. After 2 hours I received a voice message they don't have the flower I ordered and they are going to replace it with something else!. I am glad I was able to call them back!!. In my big surprise they were going to replace my expensive sympathy flower with a box of chocolate!? And pink flowers!! (Can you imagine, if I was not able to stop them what would have happen to my image??).
These people are out to touch with reality and they have no clue what they are doing???? I am really disappointed!!. No wonder they are still in business!!!! They keep apologizing for their mistakes repeatedly however they have no clue how to fix it. I ordered a Valentine's gift bouquet and gift set, when delivered it did not contain all that was ordered. Additionally I tried to apply a coupon code that was sent as 1 of almost 30 emails the week leading up to Valentines day. The system did not accept the code. I called and stayed on hold and the call 40 minutes and was assured the discount would be applied. Now weeks after the order, no discount/refund has hit my card. I called again and went back and forth with their team, they state no notation to my account that I was due a refund or discount. I asked for a supervisor and I was told he would not come to the phone to address my concern. Finally I asked if I could speak to a supervisor or grieve online for resolution, I was assured a supervisor would call, 3 days have passed and no call. I also purchased the annual membership, I will not do that again and find a different vendor for flowers and gifts, unfortunate.

I ordered a plant for a friend who cannot receive flowers as they are highly allergic. However, upon delivery I was informed that the plant could not be delivered so they sent a bouquet instead. When I called customer service, the representative's English could barely be understood and they were not at all knowledgeable about the products or policies of the company they are representing. I was informed that she could not process a replacement since there was already one sent... i.e. flower bouquet. I informed her that the recipient could not have flowers, which is why I ordered a plant and then went on to inquire why I was not contacted to be informed a replacement was being made prior to delivery. At this point the rep said she "understood my frustration" and would help to correct it.
After being placed on a 12 minute hold, she came back on the line to say that the plant I originally ordered was being sent. I asked for a confirmation number and expected date of delivery and was told to call back later to find that information out. Umm, no. When I asked her why this wasn't done in the first place, suddenly she couldn't hear me any longer and stated that my reception was bad. Overall, a terrible experience and a huge waste of money. I will never be ordering from this company again. Spend your money elsewhere... just order from a local florist and save yourself the hassle and frustration.

I ordered flowers a week in advance. 1800 Flowers failed to deliver on the services I paid for. The day of delivery I received an email stating that the florist tried to deliver, however after further investigation it was determined that the florist never came and cancelled my order because it was "too cold" outside. It was not snowing, there was no inclement weather, just 28 degrees outside. Then 1800 Flowers called and wanted to deliver my flowers 4 days AFTER my engagement proposal date. This is unacceptable and I will never use 1800 Flowers again. They are horrible and use foreign call centers that can barely speak English.

I waited until evening and then called the call center. The rep J told me the order was unable to be filled and was canceled. Canceled? No one told me??? J said he would give me my money back and a $20 coupon. I asked to speak with a supervisor but J said she was too busy. Then, I tried the virtual chat and got disconnected. Unreal. Never again... Instead of a romantic experience all I received was anxiety and disappointment. Especially for my wife. 1st time in 25 years I didn't come through with roses delivered for Vday. Great job guys!

I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, they did not show up. I received an email saying that a delivery attempt was made. My wife and I were home all day. If any attempt was made, it certainly didn't involve coming to my house. I emailed them, and got a robot response with ways to contact the company, some of which do not work. I tried calling the customer service number, and I am supposed to get a call-back, but I work and will likely not be able to answer. I have no confidence I'll be able to speak to anyone. I tried the online chat twice, only to be disconnected immediately after giving my contact info, twice. As soon as it tells me the agent has arrived, it says "sorry we missed your chat," and disconnects me. I'll be challenging this charge on my credit card and leaving reviews like this everywhere I can.

They came LATE almost dinnertime and when I opened the box the roses were suffocating in separate tight bundles — looked like a wholesale job. When I took them out they came completely apart, leaving just naked stems. My wife thought I was trying to send her a message, and it totally ruined the evening! Called customer service to complain and at first they only wanted to give me 50% refund till I insisted on full refund. But I could seriously consider suing for damages here. I ordered flowers to be delivered on Feb. 14, Valentine's Day. They came a day early and spoiled the surprise. The card on the flowers said to be delivered on the 14th and it was the 13th. I refused to accept the delivery and told the delivery person to take it back. Additionally, the order was not what I ordered. I ordered an XL bouquet and it was very small, you could hold it in one hand. I called to cancel the order. They told me they cancelled it and I would receive an email confirming the cancellation. Four hours later I had not received the email and upon review of the order online it said delivered. I called to speak to a supervisor and they refused to connect me to one. They also told me it could take SEVEN business days for my refunded to be credited. This is completely unacceptable.

I ordered the Valentine's brownies from 1-800-Flowers. I set them with a Valentine's day delivery which didn't seem to be an issue. I received en email that they were sending the item by Fedex on Tuesday, a full 6 days ahead of schedule and when I check tracking it still shows Monday delivery time, so these brownies will be in trucks and traveling for 6 days being knocked around before they are to arrive. I feel certain they will not come fresh, will be stale and so disappointed. Who expects chocolates to travel for 6 days before arriving to the recipient.

It still has not been delivered as of today the 7th. Refuse to give me a refund as the shipping as already been started. I would have never order from this company if I knew it was going to take days to get there. My friend is no longer sick so it is going to be really silly if and when it shows up. I spent almost 100$ for nothing. Highly disappointed and do not recommend at all. Will never order from them again.

I was going to order some flowers from this company and have multiple times, but now they require that you prescribe to an annual delivery program for $19.99 in order to purchase a flower arrangement from them. Often these annual memberships are auto-renewed whether you like it or not. I am not going to order from this company again. Very disappointed. It should be optional.

I needed to order flowers for a funeral. I called 1800Flowers to handle my order. I wished to have the flowers delivered on Friday, January 14, 2022 one day before the funeral on January 15, 2022. I wanted to ensure there would be no issues on the day of the funeral and the flowers not arriving on time. I paid for the order with instructions to contact me via text for updates regarding my order. Within 15 minutes I received a call from a representative of 1800Flowers confirming my order. I advised her of the reason of my order because it was for a funeral and wanted them there a day before. I was assured I would receive text messages. I already contacted the family advising them to look for my flowers on the day of the funeral service. The reason is I never received any text messages from 1800Flowers. I was advised by the family the flowers never arrived.
On Wednesday January 19, 2022, I called 1800Flowers to ascertain what happened to my order. I was told the flowers were refused at the church. I asked why was I not notified of this if in fact happened. I was not able to get an answer. I don’t blame the person I spoke with as they have no idea of what happened. The representative of 1800Flowers stated they would send me the flowers to my home address. I can present them to the deceased family member. I was given a confirmation number and advised the flowers would be delivered the same day.
I never received the flowers at my home. I did receive an email stating the flowers arrived at my home on January 19, 2022. On January 20, 2022, I called 1800Flowers to complain regarding my order. After they checked into my complaint I was advised the flowers would not be delivered to my home until next week. I asked why did I receive an email stating the flowers were delivered to my home. I could not get an answer. I immediately asked to credit my account as I will never use 1800Flowers again. Your brand is your name and how you handle business and the customers you served. 1800Flowers failed to do that.

Ordered a gift one week in advance of delivery date, a Tuesday in mid-January. Gift was not delivered on date promised. Tracking said delivery would be next day. Next day, tracking said no delivery date was available. I called recipient to explain the absence of a birthday gift and she said 1800flowers had done this to her once, and actually canceled her order without notifying her. After a long time on hold, a second shipment was ordered. One of the two shipments arrived four days after the tracking for the new delivery had indicated, the other shipment never did arrive. This birthday gift was weeks late, a major disappointment. Not recommended at all, this seems to be SOP for this company.

I ordered flowers for my wife's last day at her company. First I got a notification that the flowers had been delivered, they had not. The flowers showed up at 8pm several hours after the notification. The bouquet was wilted and the quality was terrible. I called their Customer service and was offered a 50% refund. Not including shipping. So 30 bucks on a 100 dollar purchase. I will never use again. Terrible quality.

This has by far been the worst experience ordering from a company I've ever had. I ordered two bonsai trees on December 9, 2021, both to be delivered to me on December 15, as I wanted to give them in person as Christmas gifts. One bonsai was in good shape, and was as expected, although overpriced for what I got. The other arrived literally broken in half at the trunk! I'm just glad it was delivered to me rather than the person I was to give it to, in which case they would have received a broken piece of garbage.
I immediately called customer service, informing them of this problem, and that the item was useless and unacceptable. They promised a replacement order for Dec 22, which never arrived. I called customer service again, and was told a replacement order was to be shipped, and again, I never received anything. I called yet again, and was promised a replacement order yet again. We'll, guess what? Nothing arrived, and absolutely no communication from the company, and no tracking information at all.
So on January 7 I called to get a refund, nearly one month after my original order was placed. They offered me a 50% refund, which is totally unfair given the circumstances. At that point, I said fine, just to be done with this horrible, frustrating experience. My would-be Christmas gift did not happen, and because of the incompetence, a large part of my holiday was ruined.
There is no excuse for this debacle, especially given the fact that delivering decent quality products in a timely fashion is their only job. They offered $20 off my next purchase from them, as if I would ever order from them again. If I could give negative stars for this place, I would. Buyer beware, any place has to be better than this.

A very disappointing experience with 1800 Flowers. Ordered a wreath to be sent to a Funeral service (a friend passed away) on Jan 2nd 2022. The order was placed on Dec 30th 2021 and confirmed. Not only they did not deliver, they called me on the same 2nd at the time specified for the delivery, saying that they can't deliver to this address. I was out of the country at this time with literally no options to react. This company is not managing this serious circumstance in the way it should. I have all the documents confirming what I'm describing. Customer service ignore me when calling, just "We understand and apologize".

Ordered an arrangement for my mother's 80th birthday over a week in advance. On her birthday, called to wish her a happy birthday and confirm she had received our gift on this milestone birthday. Nothing had arrived. Called 1800flowers, spoke with a CSR (who was clearly offshore), was told that the local florist was overwhelmed and delivery would be made the following day. Late afternoon next day nothing arrived. Communicated in website chat with CSR and was told that it would be delivered by end of that day. After expressing my frustration, again and again, was offered a $20 Savings Pass on the next order, and with continued expression of frustration, was offered a 50% refund of the purchase price. The next day nothing had arrived. Waited one more day, reached out again on January 1, and was told that after communicating with the designated florist they would have it delivered that day.
Here is the twist. My mom lives in a small town with four florists; all were closed on January 1, I checked. I was basically lied to by the CSR. I canceled the order for a full refund (anything less and I would have actually sought legal action). A lot of insincere and plastic apologies were offered by the CSR. At the end of the day, the focus of the CSR was not customer satisfaction but rather making certain that the designated local florist did not have any financial exposure and that it did not cost 1800flowers.com anything other than the (likely very low) salary of the CSR. My advice: call a local florist directly, even if you are not familiar with their services or goods. You will be MUCH better off. DO NOT SOLICIT SERVICES FORM 1800FLOWERS.COM!!!

I ordered same day flowers and received an email saying the flowers were delivered and they were not! After multiple phone calls and hours of wasted time I was told the email was sent in error and they created a new order for the next day and promised delivery before noon! Needless to say the flowers were not delivered the next day either but I received another email almost exactly to the time from the previous day saying delivered and they weren’t. These were get well flowers for someone who was feeling down ahead of New Years. 1 800 flowers would not tell me who the local florist was so I could call them directly so in the end I had to find a local florist on my own to order directly with.
This was the worst experience I have ever had ordering flowers and am now waiting for a refund in 5 to 7 days which I am not confident will show up. There are other more reputable options like FTD and Avas to choose from. This was my first and last time ordering from 1 800 flowers. Such a let down!!!! This review requires me to give at least one star to post my experience… I would prefer to give none!

I ordered flowers for my brother-in-law's funeral but when we arrived at the service the flowers were not there. The funeral home searched the entire building and could not find them so I placed a re-order through 1800Flowers site. After submitting the replacement it popped up that it would take 24-48 hours to deliver. That wouldn’t work since the funeral was starting shortly so I called their customer service number. The representative wasted 45 min of time I could have spent in his service refusing to call the florist to ask them to deliver same day so I eventually asked her to cancel the order and refund.
When I got back in the service the re-delivery order had arrived but the florist that was contracted with 1800Flowers had received the cancellation. They demanded payment to leave the flowers at the service so I paid them directly to avoid any further embarrassment. I checked this morning (4 days later) and had not received a refund so I called 1800Flowers and explained exactly what is above and ask for a status of my refund. They kept me on the phone for another 30 min with no resolution to my issue so I gave up and disputed their charge with my credit card. I’m convinced their customer service representatives are trained to needlessly frustrate their customers into giving up.

Call 800Flowers and they said it would be redelivered a new one. The next day someone came and picked up the arrangement without notice!!! He never received a new one. First order was automatically changed without informing us, and then NEVER delivered. After an hour of the phone with customer service, they canceled the order and placed a new one for the next day. NOT DELIVERED. Another call to customer service at 6pm (for 20 minutes) and they could not help me because the delivery window went until 8pm. By 9pm, NEVER DELIVERED again. Another call to customer service, who put me on hold for almost 40 minutes, resulted in a cancellation in the order, which took a total of an hour and 15 minutes. Customer representative refused to put her supervisor on the phone, refused to give me her worker ID number, and refused to give me the name of the local florist. SHAME ON 1800FLOWERS!!!! Worst customer service!! Use another service like FTD or ProFlowers.

Ordered flowers marked $49.99, ended up being $70+ for 'fees'. Specifically chose a 'same day delivery' option. Checked later that night, delivery was confirmed. Talked to the recipient, delivery didn't show the day it was confirmed, nor the next day. (nor ever) Used chat function, they offered a $20 coupon. Then the chat got 'disconnected'. I reinitiated chat. Next customer service person kept on saying 'it will be a few more minutes'. Then they claimed that the order was 'open' (the first customer service agent was still active in it) and they had no way of accessing the order, nor no way of transferring me to the agent who had it open, or even knowing what agent had it open. Asked me to call back later. **! Flowers are 3 days late at this point. calling back later just makes it less likely they'll be able to be delivered. So I called back later. And was put on hold 40 minutes.
At that time they took my number, and said they'd call me back within the hour. They did call back, apologized and offered to redeliver and refund me $20. So this was a romantic gesture of a Xmas bouquet that I wanted to be at her workplace for a few days for all the customers to see. So sending it to be there 12-21 through 12-23 makes sense. Not going to be open 12-24 or 12-25 obviously. And at this point I've sunk 2 hours into trying to figure out ** happened, what's going on, etc. I'm never going to order from this place again, and I hope you never order from this place either.

I called on 12/21 because I learned some flowers were sent to me on 12/17 and was confirmed by Flowers.com via email, but was actually never sent. I was offered to have flowers re-sent to me, I refused this offer. 1800- flowers sent a confirmation email was on hold 5 times, totaling over 30 minutes, before being hung up on. This company sent a confirmation email stating they were delivered, but they were never delivered. The representative did not want to issue a refund and did not want to allow me to talk to a supervisor. It is so wrong to falsely send someone a confirmation email stating something was delivered, but it really wasn't. Then we have to call and argue to get a refund for something never received. I will never order from this company again, and I will encourage others not to as well.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on 12/22/2021. They were delivered on 12/09/2021 and not even close to what I ordered. I called and did get a 50% refund and was assured they would deliver another arrange on 12/22. Received a call on 12/17 that they needed to speak to me about my order. Called back and no one could tell me what they wanted. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one was not available. Called again and got in the queue and received a call back, asked to speak to a supervisor. Got hung up on. Called again. Got in the queue. Never got a call back.
Called on 12/18 around 1p.m. to speak to a supervisor. Was told one would call me back in 15-20 mins. Right now it is 5:15p.m. On the 19th and I have still not heard from anyone. I am concerned because in one of the calls they mentioned something about my order being canceled. If you do use this company make sure the person you send the flowers to sends you a picture of what they receive so you can make sure they get the right thing. I for one will never use them again.

I lost my beloved mother which had been the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I picked out a beautiful arrangement for her funeral. There weren’t any delivery slots open the day of the funeral so they were to be delivered the day before to my home. That’s when the nightmare began. I receive a text and email stating my flowers were delivered at 6pm. I look outside and nothing. I call the company where I am given the pacifying speech that made me feel unhinged. I’m crying on the phone with them because this is only happening once in our lifetime. My husband came home and he called several times including speaking to a manager. They continued to give him the run around promising delivery by 9 am the next day.
Needless to say we never got any flowers. My husband had to rush to a local florist who were absolutely amazing and were able to duplicate the flowers I ordered and delivered them to the church. After a long incredibly emotional day my husband called again for a refund. They said we could have fifty percent back. That’s when my husband finally lost his cool and said, "We never received a single flower and you want to give us half of our money." After a long hold we finally were given a full refund. I beg anyone that is considering this place with anything that means anything to you to run as fast as you can in the other direction. Zero stars but it wouldn’t let me do that.

I ordered a cute Christmas arrangement for my aunt. What she received looked nothing like what I ordered. I contacted customer service. First they offered to re send it. Okay so far. Then they said it was no longer available. So I picked a different arrangement. That one wasn't available either. So I asked for a refund. They offered me a refund that they said was 50% because the order had been delivered. But was actually less than 50%. I requested a full refund. I was advised the florist might come pick it up if they did that. I told them that was fine, because it looked awful. Finally, I was told that a full refund was being processed. However, the amount quoted was more than $10.00 less than what I paid. I objected, and finally, they agreed to a full refund. On top of everything else, the delivery was late and did not arrive on the significant date chosen for delivery. I will never use them again.

I ordered flowers for the same day to my mother who was in the hospital. My mother had surgery and never received her flowers. I woke up 3 days later and realized I didn’t get a confirmation, I called and was told the flowers were never delivered. I didn’t get a call to let me know they were not delivered. My contribution to Thanksgiving dinner was a table centerpiece. I searched several sites for a long narrow arrangement and 1-800-Flowers had one that was perfect for the long narrow table. Unfortunately, the only resemblance to the picture was its fall colors. The arrangement was more of an egg shape but not even that symmetrical. The candles were very short, so we didn’t light them until the last minute but we still had to put out one halfway through the meal because it burned so low that we were concerned. The other candle had only about an inch left at that time and had to be put out before dessert. We realize that this was not directly the fault of 1-800-flowers, but apparently some of their local florists don’t deliver what is ordered. This occurred in Springfield, Virginia, so you might want to consider another option if delivery is to that area.

We ordered flowers and paid extra to have them delivered the same day BEFORE Thanksgiving. SEVERAL hours after placing the order, a person who spoke broken English called to say they can’t deliver today, but will deliver 1st thing the next morning AND would credit me back the additional charge we paid for same day delivery. He said that if for some reason they could not fulfill this order by 10 am the next day, they would cancel the order and refund me the full amount paid. This Thanksgiving arrangement meant to be a centerpiece for their table that was originally supposed to be delivered by end of day Wednesday BEFORE Thanksgiving, was delivered just before 7 pm on Friday night after Thanksgiving!!!! Horrible customer service, false promises and will not do business with this company again. If you want your flowers delivered in a timely manner, use a different company!!! My sister-in-law died very unexpectedly and we had only 2 days notice about her visitation. We promptly ordered online with 1-800 Flowers and gave 100% correct and explicit instructions about the time that the flowers where were to be delivered and at what time and that never happened. After multiple phone calls and CSRs who couldn't speak a single word of English as their first language, I finally got one CSR to cough up the name of the florist shop from where the locally ordered the flowers and lo! The florist shop was permanently closed - it was NOT in business and this despite the fact that I received a bogus confirmation delivery via email. I even called the funeral home and sent them a picture of the supposed delivery and they confirmed emphatically that the flowers were NEVER delivered - and how could they be if the florist shop was permanently closed?
I battled it out w/ 1800 Flowers for over 2 hours while in tears knowing that there would be no flowers from us at the visitation and they refused to budge because they "saw a confirmation in their system," which was effin' impossible because the florist shop that they supposedly ordered from was permanently closed. I had to dispute the charge with credit card company and that just added to the stress of an already horrid situation. They are total and complete rip-off artists who can't and won't provide one iota of customer service. If I could give them zero stars, I would have. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

If my time wasn't too valuable, I would have dragged them down a lawsuit because they sent an email confirmation that the item was delivered when that wasn't true. I ordered flowers for my wife to celebrate our anniversary. I placed the order on a Sunday night for delivery on the following Wednesday. It is now Friday and the flowers have not been delivered. I was under the impression that 1800flowers used local florists but in this case they shipped the flowers via Fedex and to make matters worse didn't use a method that would guarantee delivery time. The flowers have been sitting in a warehouse or on a truck for 4 days at this point. The most they would offer was a refund which is I guess okay since I won't use them again.

I ordered flowers. First time, they were not delivered. They put a replacement order and they were delivered someplace else apparently. Waiting for a call to see what happened. Not very reliable company when it comes to delivery. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to get an answer. I have spoken to 3 different customer service reps. My experience so far is bad. I don’t think I will order again from them. As to the quality of the “ invisible” arrangement, I cannot comment as they look good in a picture but so far neither my friend or myself have seen them.

Oh I don't even know where to start... I would never recommend or order from them again. I am writing this review here for anybody who is thinking to order from 1800Flowers.com as I wrote my review on their website, but they didn't publish it. :) For my aunt's 50th anniversary I decided to order a Sympathy Red Wine Gift Box and Artisan's Choice Bouquet W/ Vase-Large, as I wasn't in USA and I just wanted to be part of her special day. I thought I would order, set a delivery date and it will arrive on her birthday at her house.
What happened is the delivery arrived 4 days earlier, on the photo she sent me, the cake looked smashed and old, not at all like the original one. I order the package to be delivered on her birthday, which charged me extra fee for a special date delivery. That's disappointing but still kind of okay... The most frustrating part is that after ordering, my bill was around $150. The next day after paying I got charged another $60 WITHOUT ANY REASON. I spend at least 2 whole working days to try to reach somebody who would give me explanation why they kept on charging me?! After few days of endless emails I received the response, which was they charged me wrongly and I should receive the money back in 6-7 days. Still no money.
By the way I complained about the early delivery, this is their response "We apologize that it was not clear that the gift may arrive up to 7 business days prior to the date selected with the delivery method you chose." I will stop here...even though I can write comments for their customer service as well. I REGRET ORDERING FROM 1800flowers.com.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on 2 different occasions and on each occasion 30mins before the delivery time I got a phone call stating the delivery drivers had left. Before ordering I made sure to ask that my order will be delivered on agreed date and was ensured that they will be delivered, but never never got delivered. I hate 1-800-Flowers. They suck and they take your money without actually providing the services promised. This place sucks and I would advise anyone to take their money and time elsewhere. They lied, 1 customer service rep said it’s out for delivery on Saturday at 5:55 pm. And said they tried to deliver. I called at 8:30 pm on the 8th and another rep said they tried to deliver it at 12:20 on the 6th. And when I pressed her she said they did not have any strawberries and cannot deliver the order till November 12th that is 5 days after my birthday. Too many lies, the order was placed November 1, just to make sure the order came before my birthday.

I believe this is a third party company that contracts local florist so you will not be able to talk to somebody directly but then you’ll get an answering service. It’s supposed to be the same day delivery, it took two days and only at the end of the second day did they arrive. I would recommend to anyone not using this company. They were supposed to deliver flowers to my wife at work on a Friday for our anniversary and they didn’t deliver during business hours. So I called to check on it and they had no clue where they were. I wanted to have them to reroute the delivery to our home and they wouldn’t. The first time they could not find a florist and the second time there was an issue with the amount of deliveries scheduled for that date so my package, which was a 70th birthday package, was not delivered on time. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Nothing in life is perfect, but these issues were not communicated to me in advance. I would never use this service again! They offered me a $20 off coupon, but I rejected that. I do not want to deal with this company EVER again. I would find a local florist or use Amazon instead.

If I could I would give this review 0 stars! They use local flower shops to deliver anyways so help your local businesses and ship directly to them instead! This company delivered my flowers not once but twice in the same day. I mean, they ask for the person's phone number but didn't even bother calling the person. Once they delivered it to the wrong company I asked if they could re-deliver to this person's home instead since the company was closing soon. They said yes but proceeded to deliver to the wrong home! When I called to get this corrected the lady "Annie" hung up on me. I called back and was promised a full refund AND a re-delivery. Okay great!! WRONG! it is now 8PM at night and was told since they already processed the full refund and re-delivery was NOT possible. I should not have to be going back and forth ALL day from 10AM- 8PM for flowers. USE YOUR LOCAL FLOWER SHOP PEOPLE!

I ordered flowers which were to be delivered same day. They were a surprise for a 90th birthday. My order was just shy of $125.00 and was to be delivered on her birthday which was the 7th. It didn't get delivered and I wasn't notified even though I signed up for notification. The next day, the 8th, I contacted customer service using their link. I was in contact with customer service agent James, who ultimately gave me a 50% refund and again guaranteed delivery. That never happened. Now day 3, I again contact customer service and Rhose was absolutely horrible to deal with. I had to provide details a minimum of 3 times. Long story short, my flowers didn't get delivered and I will never use this service again. If I could give no stars I would. It literally has been the worst experience ever.

Worst experience I have ever had. I ordered 1 week ahead to get order correct, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. My flowers got shipped from California to Arizona when there is a 1-800-Flowers down the street from the business I was sending to. I don’t understand why it even had to be delivered by Fed Ex. If that was the case I would have delivered them myself and made sure it got to the destination on time! Very unprofessional and very sloppy service. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER!

Dead flowers! No water at all! Not even the tube things. Self assembly arrangement, so you better know how to do that! Be your own florist. So you pay them premium for Walmart flowers. Want it on a particular date? Lmao, good luck! They sit in the box for days until FedEx decides to give them to you. Then fedex just throws them on the door and leaves. The whole ordeal is horrid. Never again! Go to Walmart instead. I'm too embarrassed to show pictures. Walmart flowers look better!

I ordered flowers on a Wed for my uncle's funeral service on Fri. They were not delivered. When I went online on Fri night the "chat" said that they would "attempt to redeliver" on Tues (Mon was a holiday). Who thinks you can "redeliver" funeral flowers? In this world of Covid, it is already heartbreaking that you cannot attend a family funeral. At this point, 1800flowers has only made that heartache worse. Thanks for absolutely NOTHING.

I ordered flowers and paid a premium for next day delivery. The flowers were not delivered. I called 1800Flowers to follow up that evening and they confirmed that the flowers had not been delivered and tried to follow up with the shop, but the shop did not respond. Today I called again to find out when the flowers would be delivered and they said by 5:00 pm today. Totally unacceptable. They should have given this order priority since they failed to make good on the next day delivery that I paid for. Then, to add insult to injury, the florist lied and said they attempted delivery yesterday at 4:00, despite the fact that 1800flowers confirmed the delivery had not been made. This is delivery to an office. Someone is always there during business hours. Use someone else.

I have used 1-800-FLOWERS before and been very happy with the gifts sent, but they blew it yesterday. First of all, I had to wait almost a week to have a bouquet sent to a friend (for “free” delivery). I love the fact that I receive an email to notify me that the flowers were delivered. After not hearing from the recipient for 7 hours, I got concerned that she was unable to get to the door or that the delivery person didn’t ring the bell or call. Nope, she received the flowers but without a card attached with my get well comments. She also had no idea who sent them to acknowledge. Then I discovered the flowers came in a box and a vase was with it, but she had to cut the stems and arrange. What??? I thought I was purchasing the whole kit and kaboodle. I called Customer Service. I shouldn’t have. It just ticked me off more.

I had a standing spray sent to the funeral Home on yesterday for my father's funeral services on today. First, yesterday, someone called me to ask me what time the visitation or funeral would be? Although, I included all of that information with my order. When I finally saw the standing spray on today, it was a sight. It looked nothing, absolutely nothing like what I ordered. I was embarrassed by the way the spray looked. It had very little flowers and a bow. I do not know why that was added. My father was a well respected Army Veteran and Policeman, and this spray did not reflect his life of service.

I lost a good friend in May 2021 that was more like a sister. I lived in another state and due to the Pandemic I was able to go home to the service; so I ordered a standing spray wreath from 1-800- flowers. I was charged $193.11 immediately after I placed the order. The next day at 2:23 in the morning my card was charged an additional $193.11. I called my bank and they confirmed the 2 charges for one order. My bank and I were on a 3 way call in reference to the 2 charges for one order. I cancelled the order because I felt my account was being compromised and a fraudulent charge was made without my consent.
My bank representative questioned 1-800-flowers and they claimed an additional hold for $193.11 was placed on my account until it cleared. They claimed it was their policy. My bank and I couldn't until why would a hold would was being placed for a flower order. They did not have an answer. Long story short. My bank refunded me the extra charge for $193.11 until they did an investigation was completed. My bank did a reverse on the funds and took back the extra $193.11 charge since I did place the order; although I cancelled the order. 1-800-flowers charge me $386.22 for an ordered that I cancelled because of the fraudulent charge of $193.11 that I never received.
The bank was able to cancel one of the pending charges but one charge went through and I had to wait for 1-800-flowers to refund the $193.11 back to me after the charge cleared with my bank. Well here it is August and 1-800-flowers or my bank still has not refunded my money. I am out of $193.11. 1-800-flowers claimed they would send me a check in 45 days on June 3rd. I waited the entire 45 days and no check. I called 1-800-flowers and they said they didn't know why the check was never done; and claimed they put in for me to be mailed a refund check again but I will have to wait another 45 days to receive it. Well, it has been 30 days and I have not received anything yet.
I called to follow-up last no return check was cut. I am out of money and extremely disappointed in them. The worst part is; I am retired military and over 20 years I ordered from them for family members and friends with nothing ever happening like this before. I will never order from them again. I told all my friends, family members and anyone who will listen. NEVER ORDER FROM 1-800-FLOWERS. They will rip you off and never give your money back and you cancel an order. I guess some that had my credit card number at their company needed my money more than I did since I never got a refund for flowers I never received during my devastating time for a tremendous loss.

They lied to me on the phone when I placed the order that the flowers would get there on time. They were for a bereavement ceremony. They came 45 minutes after they left for the funeral home. The flowers were left on the doorstep with no water in the sun. Also my credit card was charged twice. Spoke to them today and they will not provide any satisfaction.

I ordered a large arrangement of flowers to thank a friend for caring for a sick pet. Flowers were delivered by a local florist and bore little resemblance to the picture on the 1-800 website. Flowers looked and smelled old and the sunflowers were actually dry. No artistic value to the "arrangement" and my friend was so distraught she returned the flowers to the local shop. The shop owner seemed to believe that they met the "standard" for providing a quality product. No "SMILES" were delivered with this arrangement, contrary to the 1-800 motto. It does not appear that 1-800-Flowers has any mechanism to assure the delivery of products meeting some level of quality or representing what they depict on their website. Very disappointing outcome!!

On Wednesday, I paid $180 for one dozen Magnificent Flowers, which is pretty expensive. An hour after I placed my order, the website stated that 2 dozen flowers were $160, a price much less than what I paid for one dozen with a double product increase. My delivery date was set for Saturday. 1800 Flowers representative said "Sorry, the order was placed and they are already preparing it for Saturday delivery (3 days from now) so I can't change the order or give you a price adjustment." I was basically charged double for the order with no resolution.

I ordered a cremation wreath for my father-in-law's memorial service from 1-800-Flowers that was to be delivered by noon as the service was at 1. The wreath did not get there until 12:50. I called to complain and they said they would refund my shipping cost because the florist said it was on time. Have a nice day. I suggested they call the funeral home to verify the timing of delivery, I again told the florist said they were on time. Of course the florist is going to say that ask the funeral home I said. I am sitting her grieving the loss a loved one and arguing with this flower company who did not go by it guarantee of delivery and being told to have a nice day. I find it unacceptable to not honor your guarantee of delivery. Smile guarantee or we will make it right that is a joke!

I placed an order for a 70th birthday flower arrangement to be delivered for the family reunion and birthday celebration. They failed to make the arrangement or deliver it. The following day, when I called to enquire as to what went wrong, the customer service rep merely stated “Better late than never!” I advised that was not a correct response and hopefully that was not their stance with a wedding or funeral arrangement. She stated they would refund my monies within 1 weeks time. Now, 2 weeks later they are advising it will take 30-45days to issue a credit for the order.

I ordered my grandmother a bouquet with a balloon and card totaling over $120 for Mother’s Day. After tracking the order on Mother’s Day (on 5/9/2021) and realizing that it would not be delivered on Mother’s Day as promised, I called customer service to request status of the order. They informed me that they were having trouble getting in contact with the florist and couldn’t provide me with further details. So I asked to cancel the order since it wasn’t prepared or out for delivery yet.
The customer service rep was kind on the phone and was apologetic, then told me he would process my refund and cancel the order. He said it would take about a week to see the refund. After not receiving the refund within that timeframe, I checked the status of the order online and found out that they delivered the flowers on 5/16/2021 an entire week after Mother’s Day and never processed my refund or cancelled my order as promised. I am so upset and will never order from this company again. They failed to meet all promises and expectations.

Flowers that I ordered look nothing like the flowers I received. This seems to be a reoccurring problem according to these reviews I’ve been reading. I don’t understand why this can’t be corrected. This is happened to me on three separate occasions. I do not use One 800 Flowers anymore. The recent purchase was made by my husband who is out of town and wanted to deliver me flowers and of course there was the same issue that happened in the past along with the balloons that were ordered with my flowers that I did not receive. Why is it I have to do their job? Why is it I always have to complain? I’m not that person but when you’re paying this amount of money you should get exactly what you’re paying for.
If you’re depending on a third-party for your business I think you should be monitoring it a lot better because this falls back on you 1- 800 flowers. The Florist did send me out another arrangement with the balloons are we supposed to receive this time. I work for quality assurance for 17 years and this is unacceptable. 1-800 flowers got three chances from me and they blew all three of them. Moving on.

I had a special friend have a life altering decision and hospitalization. I went to 1800 flowers and place an order. It was extremely hard to navigate the website. My cart said I had 1 Item and when done it ordered 2 flowers and I elected the free shipping and it was not free. I also had a coupon for 20% off and it was not honored. I called the company after seeing the issue and they would not fix the issue until I let them know that I was leaving a review about the dissatisfaction of their service. After reading many reviews I am now concerned that I will not get what I ordered nor on the delivery time as expected.

These people 1800Flowers repeatedly send much lower level gifts, flowers, etc. than what we order and pay for. With no accountability. I refuse to buy anything from them ever again. I ordered flowers for my step son's mother for her birthday. He was very excited that he could send something nice to her. He waited all day at the door expecting his flowers to arrive for her that never came. After reading other reviews when I got concerned as the day went by, I found I should of never used this company to begin with! Buyer beware!!! I have a 10 year old in tears. I originally placed my order for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to my mother's house the Saturday before Father's Day. My father passed away in August of last year and I wanted to send some red white and blue flowers to sit next to his American flag urn. I placed the order on the 18th to be delivered on the 19th. Got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not. Filed for a replacement to be sent on June 22nd, got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not. Filed for a replacement to be sent on June 24th, got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not.
At this point I was just over it and wanted a refund, thank goodness for the Customer Service Rep Shenelle. She was so nice and understanding about my frustration of three failed attempts and authorized me a full refund and a $20 coupon. Was very dissatisfied with my ordering experience, but was very pleased with Customer Service.

An arrangement of flowers was ordered for my Mother for her birthday from this company. There was a beautiful arrangement called Coral Breeze which was placed and the New Hyde Park store fulfilled the order. I will upload photos of what was offered and received. The flowers were left on the front step for approximately 1 hour in the full sun. Upon opening them, not only did the barely resembled what was ordered, several of the flowers were missing petals or broken off.
A call was placed to the store directly and the gentleman who answered the call claims he checked the order before it was delivered. When told about the condition, he place me on a brief hold and said if I had a complaint to call another 1-800 number. He offered no solution and hung up. The 1-800-356-9377 was called and after explaining what happened, the representative offered to replace them from the same store that delivered the initial order and offered no solution or assistance. When I said that was not acceptable, and asked for a refund, she stated only 50% of the purchase price could be given. So much for the 100% guarantee. The call to the complaint line was about 90 minutes after delivery. 1-800 Flowers corporate policies are less than adequate for the consumer. The product was far inferior than what is promoted and promised. Shameful … Don’t order from this company!!

I ordered a small bouquet of flowers on June 6, 2021 and was confirmed by the company to be delivered on June 11, 2021. It is an international delivery for Germany. For a sick person. On June 11, 2021 they sent an email that the order was being prepared by a local florist. I realized that the status of the order on their website has not changed and it was already nearing their delivery deadline which was 8PM (Germany Time). I brought up a chat with a live agent and they apologized profusely and said that they will contact their supplier in Germany for a re-delivery. The agent gave me a re-delivery date of June 12, 2021 by 8PM.
I had been monitoring the status based on this and checked with a live agent at 1PM (Germany Time) and the live agent had said that the flowers are en route to the recipient's address and that they were confident the flowers were going to be delivered soon. Two hours pass by - again the status on the website has not changed and was still just CONFIRMED. I checked in again with a live agent at 8PM (German Time) and the agent told me that they can contact the supplier for another re-delivery. Now, this confused me because the last agent said that the flowers were en route, so I asked for a recompense/a refund. The agent said a coupon and a 50% refund. Then we were disconnected.
I had to contact another live agent and go through the process of yet again confirming and giving details about my small order that was placed 6 days ago/not rush order mind you. The agent said that they will schedule a re-delivery but there will probably be no delivery til after the weekend. The flowers are for a sick person that will probably not need it after this weekend so I decided to just cancel altogether and ask for a full refund. I was refunded just the amount of the flowers but the other $14.99 said to be a processing fee was not given back.
This experience was more disappointing than upsetting. The status of the orders should be in real time no matter where the destination. And having to start up a live chat just to get a semblance/an idea of how your order is going and getting VARIOUS results is confusing and definitely a disregard for customer care and convenience. I dislike having to leave bad reviews in general, I am one considerate and patient consumer but I cannot find any reason to be considerate in this situation. No flowers for my sick friend. And my working class bank account $14.99 poorer. You could do better. I hope you do better. Lesson learned. Next time I'll look for another company.

I ordered yellow roses. Yellow roses represent friendship. I also paid extra for a “elegant” bouquet so that it would have baby breath in it to look nicer. Finally, I ordered a teddy bear. Flowers die and I wanted the recipient to have a keepsake. They were going to my stepdaughter for her graduation that I could not be at. She was sent red roses, as if she was a lover. The roses had ugly huge green leaves and some purple stuff that looked like baby breath. She also didn’t receive the teddy bear. She received generic chocolates literally from Walmart. Not to mention, she is allergic to chocolates.
I tried sending in an email to complain but their system wasn’t accepting my order number. I had to call. They offered to send out what I correctly ordered...because it wasn’t possible to do that the first time. I accepted. But then the representative said it wouldn’t be delivered for another two days. So they deliver the wrong item, on the day I paid for it to be delivered and now it’s going to take another two days!? I told the rep that was unacceptable and what else can I be offered. They said $20 off my next purchase. I said “Nope! I don’t want that! I will not ever use you all again!” Then she offered an additional 6 roses for free. I said “well if another 6 roses means it’s not going to take an additional 2 days, then yes please.” Of course not! So I asked for a refund. They said they could only refund me 50%. 50% from a $110 order!! Never use this company. They are horrid and a waste of money. Flowers are not cheap. So take your money somewhere else.

Ordered an expensive arrangement for a family member. The name, street address, city and state were correct. I provided my phone # as well as that of the recipient. I order online at 8am and asked that they be delivered the same day. That evening @ 8 pm I received a call trying to verify the address and I was told that the flowers would be delivered the next day. After hanging up, I realized that the zip code was wrong. I called customer service and gave them the correct zip and was given a confirmation #. The next afternoon I called to check the order status and I was told the florist had cancelled the order. Never did I receive a call or email letting me know! A 2 second google would have given them the correct zip or they could have called and checked with me. I had better not be charged and I am furious about the delay. Always order through a trusted local florist!

I ordered flowers for a friend to celebrate his 50th birthday, but like always, I was a bit late in getting things done. My order was processed quickly and the florist who filled the order contacted me to ask when the recipient's birthday was. I told her that it was today, thinking that the flowers would most likely not arrive that day before he left his home for the day (celebratory birthday party). I was delighted when my friend sent me a picture of the flowers an hour later! The florist went the extra mile to get them ready and delivered so that my friend would have them to show off at his party.

1-800-FLOWERS totally messed up my order. I had to reschedule it three times. My customer got the flowers a week later than expected. The sad part is I had to repeatedly tell my customer the flowers were on the way.
