Worst customer service ever. Ordered flowers through 800-flowers on Monday for a Thursday delivery. Received confirmation of the order with delivery by 8:00 pm. By 10:00 pm, when the flowers had not been delivered, I called 800-flowers and was told the florist had reached their "maximum number of deliveries" for the day. The representative was unable to provide any assistance, other than to say they will contact the florist to see when the next delivery date may be. Fast forward to the next day. Called 800-flowers to inquire as to the delivery. I was told the florist had not responded to their messages. The representative said they were unable to contact the florist by phone. She was also unable to provide any information on a new delivery date. My next, and final, call to 800-flowers was to cancel the order.

Received a Birthday gift that was sent from 1800Flowers, what was received was a sad looking mum plant. I learned that it was actually supposed to be a mini rose bush, so not only was it not what the gifter ordered, but it was a sorry excuse for a flower plant. See pictures attached.

I ordered a funeral spray of flowers the day before a wake, and the order was confirmed. It was scheduled to begin at 5 PM, and I received a phone call from the company at 2:30 PM, only 2 1/2 hours before it started, saying they could not find a florist who could complete this order. As a result, I had no time to find a new florist. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially for such an important occasion. I was told I would get a full refund, but it is still not ok. The company name is 1-800-Flowers suggesting that they can accommodate any need at any time. Not only did they not do that, but they caused an already difficult situation to be far worse. I will never use this company again.

I ordered roses and strawberries for my mother’s 90th birthday. Both arrived 2 days late. The strawberries were spoiled, and the flowers falling apart. I had previous bad experiences with them. No more.

If there were an option to choose No Stars, I would have done that. Nearly a week ago, June 15th, I ordered an Urn flower arrangements, to be delivered on Thursday, June 20th one day before the Catholic Funeral Mass being held on Friday, June 21st. When I arrived, at the Church, I live out of town, I was informed that the flowers were never delivered. This arrangement was to be the centerpiece, with the Urn, for the Alter during the Mass. There had only been one other flower arrangement, because most everyone donated to either the Alzheimer Foundation and/or the American Cancer Society. It was vital to us that the arrangement would represent our love for Jill who at age 58 had recently passed from Cancer. An utter failure happened with the flowers..
During the Mass a florist called me, which I did not receive because of the ongoing Mass, of course. Once the Mass was complete I returned the Florist call, who asked what time I wanted the delivery made. She stated it had only showed up, as an order via "Fax" or some other method at 11:15 this morning, June 21, with no instruction as to what time it was to be delivered that day. Of course it was suppose to be have been delivered Yesterday, not Today. When I contacted 1-800-Flowers.com, I was told that it didn't arrive because they couldn't find a florist to take the order and had left me numerous messages on my phone over the past week. All of this was was a lie and I told the agent that, because I'd received a call from a local florist trying to deliver the flowers today. Additionally, I had never received a phone call from them, before today, and if I had I would have responded. I can prove that by my cell phone log.
Lies, and more lies and a very sad and upset family. Of course I will receive a refund, but that was not the point, it wasn't about money, it was about the principle of having a promise to deliver a beautiful florist's arrangement to encompass the beautiful Urn as the altarpiece. I cannot explain my disappointment, hurt, and disgust for 1-800-Flowers. I certainly will never buy from you again. Thank you for allowing me to write this review.

I ordered flowers from 1800flowers for our 30th wedding anniversary to be delivered today. I ordered in plenty of time, even got a confirmation #, at 5 :30 received a call saying they can't deliver today and that if it's ok to deliver tomorrow. I asked why. They advised it was too late for a florist. They forget to place the order in time. I requested a full refund. This is the 1st time my 30 yrs of marriage that I didn't get my wife flowers and this is do to 1800flowers. And they offer me a 20$ discount on my next order and I have to wait 10 days for my cc refund.

The absolute WORST company! My husband purchased a large arrangement and received a small one. The company said they would resend the correct arrangement yesterday (6/15/24) but it was never received. The company actually LIED by sending an email stating the flowers were delivered when they weren't. We called and complained and they were sending another arrangement today (6/16/24). Guess what, we never received that arrangement either. They also LIED AGAIN by sending out an email stating the flowers were delivered. Tuner wanted to resend them again. We said absolutely NOT! We requested a refund. We will NEVER order from this unprofessional company again. This is a SCAM. You buy flowers and get nothing like what you purchased. They are ripping people off! Just ridiculous and not worth the aggravation!

I ordered flowers for my daughter to be delivered on her birthday. I spent $120., to see a smile on her face. I received a call that the flowers wouldn’t make it until the next day. I am very disappointed.. ☹️ No, I would never recommend this company. Not to mention that when you call they are in some kind of a call center where it’s very loud and you can hardly hear the customer service representative.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with your service. I placed an order well in advance for same-day delivery (Order #**) for my anniversary. Despite this, I was notified just 30 minutes before your closing time at 9 PM that you were unable to fulfill the delivery. This has ruined what was supposed to be a special day. I immediately tried to call your customer service, but was met with an automated message about long wait times. I opted for a callback, but never received one. The lack of communication and timely notification is unacceptable.

Absolutely horrible. I wish I could have given no stars. False advertisement, the picture of what I ordered wasn’t even close to what was sent. I costed a lot of money and paid extra for next day delivery which took 3 days. And then again it looked horrible. Nothing at all like the picture. Their customer service was ignorant. Did not resolve the issue. The photo on the left is what was advertised and I ordered the one on the right is what was sent. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. YOU’LL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I ordered a fruit bouquet at 7:30 am. I called the 1-800 number at 7:53 am to cancel. I realized they would probably use the local Edible arrangements company to fill the order that had bad reviews. They put me on hold and came back to say, "Sorry we can't cancel." I said, "Yes you can, the store is not even open. I just ordered 23 minutes ago." She asked to put me on hold again, I said I don't need to be on hold to cancel, just cancel. It's not made yet because the business is probably not opened. I told her don't make this difficult. I paid through PayPal so I would dispute it and they would not be paid.
She insisted on telling me she couldn't cancel but would send something from another location. I told her absolutely not, I can change my mind. Well after much back and forth, it was canceled. I asked if I would get an email about the cancelation, she said yes, but I don't trust them. I went to their online chat to cancel. It said already canceled so I took a screenshot. NEVER AGAIN! Buyer beware. Call a local vendor with good reviews when they are opened.

Ordered flowers for my sister-in-law's birthday and was promised delivery on June 1st. Flowers never showed up! This company is very unreliable. Never order flowers through them. Sadly I didn't read all the negative reviews first.

I had 2 orders that I put in for 2 different people. One was a Romantic bouquet which came when expected but the picture showed red and pink flowers. What we got was like a small Spring bouquet. Similar to what I could have gotten at Trader Joe’s. They did send a replacement which was slightly better. Then, a few days later the next flowers were to have arrived for a friend but they never got there. There’s nothing worse than spending a lot of money to make someone’s day and then, nothing! They were determined to send them again 4 days late and give me a coupon but there’s no way I will ever order from them and the last thing I want is a coupon! Why can’t someone verify these orders and make sure the orders are correct or that they even get there! Very disappointed!

1-800 Flowers.com services are horrible. I had placed an order with 1-800 flowers.com for my mom's 81st birthday on 5/14/2024 for the flowers to be delivered on May 27th. On Saturday, May 25th, I received a call from 1-800 Flowers.com stating the flower shop would be closed on May 27th because of the Holiday and asked if they could deliver the flowers on Saturday, May 25th. I said yes, sure. The flowers NEVER came on Saturday, NEVER came on Sunday, NEVER came on Monday, and now it is Tuesday, May 28th, and the flowers NEVER came. I called 1-800 -Flowers.com and requested a refund for the flowers AND FOR THEM TO STILL be delivered.
The representative said, "Sure, I understand, and I apologize and will give you a refund," and STILL deliver the flowers. Well, that was a lie because the flowers never came. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE 1-800 Flowers.com. Their lack of professionalism and not keeping their word is unacceptable. There are too many other online flower vendors. Remember, you have been warned.

I put in an order two days ago for flowers for a funeral. Was told I put it in too late to get there for the wake. I said ok and the man from 1-800 guaranteed me that the flowers would be at the funeral home by 10 am the next day prior to the service starting. I reluctantly agreed. The day of the funeral I got at call at 1pm saying the service has already started and where should they send the flowers. This family had no flowers. All we wanted to do was give them some. They should not make promises that they cannot keep. Not reliable. Will never use this company for flowers again and will make sure to tell others what happened and not to use. Kept telling me supervisor not available. Waited 30 minutes on phone for them. AWFUL. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARTS I WOULD HAVE.

They didn't deliver my order on the requested date, for which I paid extra. When tracing my order I was told it was going to be delivered the next available date, 2 day later, and they were not going to charge me extra.

I received a birthday order from Shari's Berries from my daughter today. The order was hot, and the strawberries were ruined. I called customer service and spoke with a very rude Nichole. She attempted to send me a new order next Thursday. I replied, my birthday is today, can my daughter have a refund. She stated, "I don't see what the problem is." I asked for a manager, she hung up on me twice. My daughter called and she was told I had arranged a redelivery. I am in shock because I have used this company successfully in the past. We are now having a hard time getting an email or person in management to speak with us. The company’s policy states "100 percent" guaranteed service. I will not be using Shari's Berries or their parent company again (1-800Fflowers.com).

I ordered tulips and iris and received orange lilies. Not even the same color group and the person has cats. Lilies are deadly to cats. Worst experience ever. $90 down the drain. Don't buy from this place. You won't get what you paid for.

I have a wonderful daughter who loves to surprise me with flowers. Mother's Day 2024 came and went. I decided to go out the day after and there on my driveway in the hot sun was my Mother’s Day flowers. 50 percent of the bouquet had no flowers on stems and the other half had daisies bent over and dead. I had one white peony and a hydrangea. Nothing what my daughter ordered and in such poor condition it was unthinkable. I called and wrote a letter and assured a replacement bouquet would arrive in 4 days. Upon staying home, no flowers arrived. Shame on this company.

This is my second bad experience with this company in two months. This one takes the cake, though. I ordered a gorgeous Floral Embrace XL to be delivered to my step-mother for Mother's Day. It was supposed to be delivered 5/11 or 5/12. Then I got a call saying that it would be delayed until 5/13 or 5/14. It was never delivered! I spent an hour on chat and another 30 mins on the phone with them. They submitted a re-order. But was it the correct item? Oh, hell no! It was peonies, which were not even in the original bouquet! They charged me $94.00 anyway! My step-mother sent me the picture below of these lame peony bulbs. Are you kidding me?? How embarrassing!! Now, they've said they're going to deliver the correct item tomorrow. We'll see... Photos are of what I ordered, and what was received!!

Ordered flowers to be sent to a friend who lost a family member, paid extra for next day delivery, and they were not delivered. I received absolutely no communication about this. Then I go in touch with their live help and had someone keep me waiting for 20 minutes with no apology or information, I finally disconnected from that person and reconnected with someone else later who informed me all they could do was a 20$ credit on my next order. After telling them how unacceptable this is and that I just wanted my order canceled, they finally gave me a refund.

I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother's Day. IT was a 55.99 arrangement and was to be delivered the Saturday before Mother's Day. It never arrived so they sent another but it did not come until Wednesday. Check out the pictures of what they advertised and what actually came. My mother said that when she opened it leaves were falling off and it looked horrible. I called and after chats and phone calls, I finally got a manager to refund me. But they still wouldn't send anything in its place. See pictures below. The first 2 were what it looked like when it came and the last one is what was advertised.

To insult me more, Kay offered to send another plant, different than the initial flowers I ordered for the services, to the family of the deceased home on May 16, 2024. So not only were the flowers not delivered as promised, but now they offered to send the flowers I did not initially order 2 days after the funeral. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!
Original Review: I placed an order on 5/10/2024 with 1800-Flowers for a close friend because I could not attend the services. I requested/selected the flowers to be delivered on Mon. 5-13-2024 at noon to Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home in preparation for the wake on that day and the funeral services on May 14, 2023. However, I got a message from 1-800-Flowers on the morning of 5-14-24 asking me to call about this order. I spoke with a customer service rep, before asking for the supervisor Jess. Jess transferred me to her supervisor Kay. Both supervisors informed me the florist "dropped the ball and we apologize. We can deliver the flowers to the resident and call the recipient or refund your money."
This is the second time this organization has "dropped the ball" on flowers that I have paid to have delivered to a funeral at a specified time that they allowed me to select when placing the order. In addition to grieving my loss, I must grieve the fact that this business failed to deliver my expression of condolences when it was appropriate. My money was refunded, but I want the flowers delivered too because it is not my fault their contracted vendor did not deliver as promised.

I had a horrible experience with an order from 1800Flowers.com for a Mother's Day order for my aunt. I placed the order with ample time and received a confirmation that it was delivered on Saturday (day before). When I called to ask how she liked her flowers on Sunday (Mother's Day), my aunt said she had not received anything. I called customer service that day and they were not very helpful but eventually said they would give me a partial refund and would redeliver Tuesday (earliest time available). Tuesday comes and I check the delivery status frequently throughout the day but see no updates. In the evening (around 6pm) my aunt calls to let me know she still hasn't received any flowers.
I called customer service to find out where the delivery is and am told it is currently out for delivery and will be delivered by 8pm. 8pm comes and goes and when I call back and ask for a supervisor, the representative hung up on me and locked my account. I call again and speak to a different representative, but they tell me that a supervisor will call me back in 30 minutes because my account is now locked and it needs to reset. A half hour comes and goes without a call back, so we call again to ask for a supervisor and are told that all supervisors are gone for the day. We finally got them to cancel the order and process the refund - I will order from a more reliable source. Avoid at all costs!

We purchased the "passport" so we use this company to send gifts or sympathy items MAYBE 2 - 3 times a year. This time we purchased sympathy plant for my daughter-in-law. They hit us with an $80.00 plus hold (non-disclosed) for a $63 order!! We spent over an hour on the phone with several people to discover what the $80.00 was for. We were told that this practice is sporadic and they don't know when or where it will pop-up so please be careful; especially, those on a budget.

So my daughter from Hawaii sent me a mother's day bouquet for mother's day. I received them at 5:15 PM. The Fed Ex truck was hot and the candy was melted as well the flowers were wilted. The tulips help up a little better but the irises did not. So I called and told them. They were really nice and said they were sending the order back out but it would be an upgrade to pink rose bouquet. I got them today and they looked worse than the irises. They are brown. Smell great and a cute vase that was way bigger than the few roses that were sent. They were also going to send a $20 gift card to my email that I never saw. It is so disappointing. You would think they would have a way to wrap the stems in a moist towel to help them to get to the destination looking a little better.

I waited 30 min before I gave up and called my credit card company to dispute the charges. I think they turned into a scam.

My 91-year-old mother is STILL waiting on her Mother’s Day bouquet!! They promised the delivery date of 5/12 then kept saying it would show up at 8 pm then 10 pm no flowers. So they called my mom and offered to send an even bigger better bouquet the next day and give me a $20 certificate towards next order! Here we are 2 days later and they are saying the flowers will be there by 8 pm tonight and refunded my delivery fee of $18.00. STILL NO FLOWERS FOR MY MOM! Wow why would anyone ever use this company and my poor mother is so disappointed. How do you explain this total disregard for your customers!!

I placed an order Saturday (5/11/2024) for flowers to be delivered to my mom (3000 miles away) for Mother’s Day on 5/12. I’ve used them previously and had no issues. I received a call at 8pm that night EST they ran out of flowers however would replace it with similar high quality flowers, I said that was fine, but when would they deliver them? I was told Monday (maybe Tuesday). I called today to get an update (as suddenly on my account was a replacement order which I couldn’t get the status of). I chatted customer service and they said the replacement order was put in for flex dates by the florist and that now they won’t be delivered until Wednesday. I let them know I’ll never be using them again. Delivering them 4 days late defeats the purpose. I was not offered anything for being 4 days late. I have no idea what (or when or if) they’ll be delivered at this point.

I have been shopping here for years and this is the last time I am shopping here. Their customer service is incompetent and 1/6 flowers are horrendous. Mind you the average cost for a bouquet is 120$. Flowers were also delivered late. I’m so dissatisfied I don’t want to waste anymore of my time on this review. Just trust me and don’t shop here!!!!

I ordered a Gardenia plant for my Daughter in texas for Mother's day.. The description when I ordered it was a Gardenia with crisp white blooms which it had no blooms.. The pictures showed it had a lovely green moss around the bottom of plant. There was none. All in all I was very disappointed because I expected blooms on the plant. It was expensive and charges on top of order made it even Higher. I expected to get what I ordered.. Even though of course she was happy because was from her Mother and a nice green plant consumers expect to get what they order...

Very bad service. I ordered 2 separate orders. The first order was 145 dollars. Says delivered but it was not. Called to have a replacement sent and they called me today to say that the flower shop called them. Said their van broke down. I gave up and asked for a refund. My other order she was missing items. She only got the flower. I had to ask for another refund. This 1800 Flowers sucks. I had did this for my mother in law and sister and they messed up mother's day for them. I spend almost 420$ on everything. I will never order from this company again and will tell everyone I know to stay away.

The 1st delivery on May 9, 2024 for a Mother's Day Gift from my son came a day early. It came without an icepack in 90 degree weather and when I opened the box soon after they came to my front porch I could not believe the conditions of these tulips. They were wilted & drooping. I called and complained the same day & they sent me replacement 2 days later and they were worst than the 1st order. They came without a vase. They did refund 50% of the cost. I will never order from this company. AGAIN STAY AWAY!

Orders flowers for mother's day. Delivery date was either the day before or on mother's day. They did not arrive. The worst part is the automated system kept reporting they were out for delivery until 6pm. If I had known they were lost or they couldn't be delivered, I would have made other arrangements. 1800 Flowers first offered not to charge ME for a second delivery... What?! They also offered me a $20 voucher for my next order. Also, WHAT?! You just made my mom miserable on mother's day and made me look bad. That's not acceptable.
In the end they gave me 50 percent off my order and offered to deliver the flowers still... I want 100 percent if they don't arrive, not 50. The website GUARANTEED delivery (as advertised all over their site) delivery on mother's day. I would have just cancelled but I don't want my mom to think I was lying about ordering them. I will update to two stars if they arrive. I wouldn't advice anyone use this service if they need flowers to arrive on a certain day. If it's a random surprise maybe it's ok (still haven't seen the flowers so I can't speak to their quality). Thank you 1800 flowers for ruining my mom's mother's day!!

Ordered almost THREE HUNDRED dollars worth of flowers for Mother's Day which no one will be receiving now. Paid for the shipping date to be delivered on May 11th to my work place so I wouldn't come home empty handed (work is also an hour away). Shipping/handling charges being 70 dollars of the 300 dollar order so now I have no gifts and will have to travel an hour out of my way lord knows when just to pick them up and look like a fool. Contacted their live chat which was a JOKE! No help or compensation whatsoever. It's sad. Was basically told sorry, hope they show up and then as I was responding just disconnected the chat.

I moved out of state recently for work and had to leave my adult children behind. My oldest daughter ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day. She paid extra for a speedy guaranteed delivery for Saturday, May 11th. 1-800-Flowers dropped the ball and didn't get them delivered. She had even called them three times yesterday checking on delivery times. They finally admitted the flowers weren't getting delivered and soonest they could would be May 21st. They offered her $9 back for her troubles. SMH! I spent this morning on the phone with my crying daughter. We will NEVER use them, again. Shame on you!

Ordered flowers for my mother/Mother's Day, to be delivered on the Friday before Mother's Day. Well, they weren't delivered on Friday, then when I called the Support Team, was told they were scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, which never happened. At the end of the day, again in touch with their Support team, they offered to reschedule the delivery with another florist for May 15th (3 days past Mother's Day!). At this point I just told them to cancel the order, and that I would never use them to order flowers from again. Simply awful customer support, customer service, no urgency to help me with my Mother's Day order. Terrible.

When ordering with 1-800-Flowers, make sure you know the florists they're going to use because they used the wrong Conroy's for my Mother's Day bouquet on a scale of 1 to 10, a 3-year-old could have put three flowers together better than what I got delivered -4.. Tried to make it right over the phone. They couldn't find the number, went down to the conroys that said it was delivered from. It wasn't. So here I sit and I called my son to tell him what was happening. He was offered 50% back or 50% discount so they got 50% of the large amount of money that he put on his credit card. It is not right..rethink 1-800- flowers.

Order was supposed to be delivered on a Friday…nothing. Saturday morning it said it was delivered but not found at residence or with neighbors. They were going to redeliver but not for another 2days with a replacement bouquet that was ugly. Not even close to the original order. After working with customer service, I asked for a refund.

Just here to try to bring their rating lower since they could not manage to deliver the order the day it was requested and made no effort to let me know delivery was not going to happen, but be pushed out three days- one day after the occasion. Horrible business practice.

They delivered the flowers that I ordered for Mother’s Day to be handed to my mom in a BOX!!!! And left it at the door in sun! WHAT?? And refusing giving me refund! DON'T DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I spent about $100 for these flowers to be handed to my mom! They screwed up!!!

1-800-Flowers is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The Customer service department ensured us that our delivery would be delivered by 8PM. It was listed as out for delivery but was not delivered. When my wife spoke to customer service they assured that that the flowers would be there. Then at 11PM their live chat person told her that the original bouquet was sold out and wanted to reject the order and give a refund. The value they attached was a $20 credit towards a future order. This company does not allow you to talk to a supervisor and does not like to help the customer. I will never be using this company at all.

I have received flowers from 1800Flowers several times and have been appalled at what these people charge for dead skimpy "bouquets". I think they should be put out of business for scamming folks. Do not order from this site!

I receive flowers for Mother's Day for my son. When I got them out of the box the flowers were wilted. The green stems were turning yellow. I could have got a better bouquet at the dollar store. I contacted 1-800 flowers. Got a bunch of run around and they hung up on me so I would recommend never using this service. Their flowers are garbage!

I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my wife for "Teachers Appreciation Day" at the elementary school she works. Then informed customer service she gets off work at 2:30pm so needed flowers delivered no later than 2pm. I was told that shouldn't be a problem. The flowers were never delivered to my wife. When I asked why my order wasn't delivered, customer service said they can only guarantee flowers to be delivered by 8pm. After informing her of previous discussion when I placed order, she said "Well, that representative gave me bad information and no way can they give guarantee of a time". I will never place another order with this company again.

I Ordered flowers for my 85-year-old mom for Mother’s Day. We received nothing like the flower arrangement that was pictured on the website. Paid over $100. I was very very disappointed and upset. No call was ever made to say why. I feel like we were taken advantage of. I will never use 1-800 Flowers again.

My kids ordered me 2 large bundles of asst’d tulips in a vase for Mother's Day. The label was placed on the bottom of the box so it was shipped upside down! They arrived crushed and dry! Mostly leaves!

I was looking at Mother’s Day arrangements, and I did notice that there was a promo code that said Mother’s Day, 20 at the top of the page. So I made a mental note of that so I could apply it at checkout. Found arrangement and put in the promo code and it said invalid. So I was thinking well I’ll just call them and see if I can get it applied because I really need to go ahead and make this order so she can get it in time for Mother’s Day.
Texted on the chat texting spent an hour with a person who seemed very unknowledgeable. She/he kept asking me the same questions over and over again. She would say let me get back to you in two minutes and it would be 10 minutes. Total time texting was almost an hour with no resolution. She basically told me the codes were invalid and had me check again when I checked again the code was different and I gave her the new code and she said that it was invalid too so I did get pretty upset. I said please do not text me again. She proceeded to text me several more times and I just ignored them. That felt like harassment to me.
Then I called the phone number and asked for a supervisor -took about 10 minutes for that person to get to the phone. She was helpful. She told me that my order didn’t qualify for a discount. I told her I saw nothing on the site that led me to believe that it would not be discounted. In fact, I’m almost sure it said site wide discount of 20% but anyway, she gave me $11 off my order and apologized but I’m still annoyed that I spent so much of my day dealing with people that are incompetent and dealing with a company that is scamming people with these promo codes.
Be clear- say under each arrangement- this does not qualify for promo code discount or do something so that people are not misled And then make sure the promo code actually works at checkout. They use these promo codes as a lure to get people to order and then they don’t get them applied. I will not use 1 800 Flowers again because my frustration and annoyance level is extremely high right now. I included two screenshots so you can see how promo codes are changed so quickly. They are both from today. Also included screenshot of text where I asked not to be texted again and person proceeded to text several more times. She even has the nerve to ask me to do survey!

I ordered two separate deliveries for Mother's Day. Neither delivery resembled the product description on the website. Both were poorly arranged, lacking the advertised number of flowers, and generally underwhelming considering the price of the items. After over an hour of dealing with AI and human customer service reading from scripts, I was offered a "full refund". However, when I asked how much the refund would be, the customer service agent said $230 for an order of $365. After many more rounds of being placed on hold and reconfirming my identity the agent refused to transfer me to a supervisor or anyone with authority to offer a full refund. The agent admitted on a recorded call that the offered refund was not truly a full refund and that they had lied then hung up on me. Needless to say, I will purchase from this company again.

My friends ordered flowers for my father's passing. They came wilted and moldy. I felt bad they paid so much so I contacted customer service. They said they're send a replacement the next day. Shocker, THEY DID NOT. I've never seen flowers in such a horrible condition, even wilted grocery store flowers weren't as gross as these were.

I ordered a sympathy bouquet on a Friday for deliver the following Tuesday for a family member's residence. First, they called on the day of delivery to tell me they needed to substitute the order, then, after I agreed to a substitution, they failed to deliver the order. I called back and rescheduled the order, which again, was never delivered. When I called for a third time, they told me they had no florists that could deliver my order but they could send a plant via FedEx. I asked for a refund at that point, and contacted a local florist directly after wasting 6 days of time dealing with this company.

I ordered bouquet of flower as sympathy since good friend of mine was totally devastated losing his dog. Same day delivery but it did not make it on time so I cancelled. They tried to buy me out of 50% credit and 20 dollars pass for future purchase. Who would want that when they can’t even deliver the flower on time right. They tried to convince me but I requested a refund.
To make it even worse, next day, they delivered it, even I cancelled, and guess what! They delivered a bouquet that’s nothing like what I ordered!!! No sunflowers, no lilies, no nothing here and there and it was sorry ass looking bouquet and had to embarrassed me like this!!! Not only that, it totally ruined my friend’s feelings. I wish I could give them zero star!! They don’t deserve to do the flower service when they don’t even know how to handle people’s feeling!!!! I hope they go bankrupt one day, because I had worst experience ever.

I ordered flowers for one person to be delivered April 30, 2024 and cupcakes for another person to be delivered May 6, 2024. Neither recipients received my gifts and both have Ring cameras proving neither gift was delivered. The cupcake refund was about $12.00 BELOW the price I paid!

I will never do business with 1-800-Flowers again. What was ordered and received was two different flower arrangements. The flowers delivered were wilted and broken. I chose Friday as delivery day and they were delivered Tuesday. When I called customer service at 1800flowers to bring to their awareness of my dissatisfaction, I was told a redeliver cannot be provided but was given a $ 20 certificate for future order. When I requested a refund, I was told that one would be given in the amount of $30 more than I paid. But of course that never came. I disputed the charge with my bank. Keep your money and don’t order from 1800 flowers.

Flowers never arrived. Took hours of arguing and being told there are no supervisors to get my money refunded, assuming in 10 business days it actually is. I was hung up on, talked to ugly, and this was a coworkers' gift. Those that contributed to the purchase were looking at me wondering where the money went and where the flowers were. I shared the receipt but it's not a great look. As of right now, nothing has been resolved. They claim it's Fed-Ex problem- Fed-Ex showed me that 1-800-Flowers created the shipment label to some random street address, tracking info shows Fed-Ex did it at 2pm today. All I know is never again.

An email came through that said the flowers were delivered at around 12:30pm. My wife said they never arrived at her workplace. I contacted customer service and they said, "Yes the flowers were not delivered, sorry," and they would send a replacement for 2 days later (2 days after her birthday?) and would not offer a discount or refund. Their customer service live chat was slow and awful. I’m going to write this $85 off as a lesson learned to go direct with a small business florist in the future.

Hello, this is the 3rd time I order from this website, they are TERRIBLE on delivery on time. They give you an option to pay for faster delivery but NEVER EVER. I have been lucky to get my thing on time. 3 time same thing. They just apologized and give you money back, and this is NOT THE POINT. If you offer something you should be able to complete what you offer. We do pay to get our arrangement faster for a REASON.

I ordered a dish garden for a sympathy. The garden was nothing like it was pictured. It was skimpy, thrown together and smaller than what I ordered. I contacted 1800flowers and they were to replace it the next day. It never happened. I called again and they could not find my order number and kept switching me around and then promised me someone would call me back in minutes. Never got the call. Please do not patronize 1800flowers. You will be disappointed and will not get the customer service you deserve.

I ordered flowers for a friend in the hospital on 5/4/24. It was scheduled to be delivered 5/5/24. As of today, 5/6/24, the flowers have not been delivered. They said they would reschedule and give me $20 savings on my next order. I accepted, but then was told the flowers would be delivered tomorrow. I told them that was unacceptable because my friend would most likely be discharged before then. I was told the redelivery and savings pass had already been processed, and nothing could be done. After an hour on chat, because it took the "live" agent 5 or more minutes each time to respond to me, my order was eventually canceled. This is a company that advertises same day delivery, but couldn't follow through on a botched order. I will not use this company again.

I ordered a flower stand up spray for a friend's funeral. I spoke to these people 3 times and assured me that the flowers would be there for the 3 pm service. The flowers never showed up. Then they only wanted to refund me $140 of the $167. I told them they better have all my money back on my credit card. Will never use these people again!!!

I ordered a nice, expensive arrangement. I got a cheap one with no resemblance to the order. I asked for it to be re-delivered the same day since my daughter (whom the flowers were for) was leaving the country soon after. They would not commit and just tried to give a coupon and said “rest assured” it will be delivered at earliest opportunity”. I said it had to be that same day or else I would have to get a refund. They said they would but would not give a refund confirmation and told me I would have to wait 10 days to get a confirmation. I cancelled the payment through my credit card company and I will never use them again. In my opinion, a bait and switch rip-off followed by AI incompetence (as always) and then a live agent who would not provide confirmation of refund. Don’t use this company.

I requested to get refunded and they offered to send another arrangement and the second one was even worse. They do not want to give me a refund. Customer Service is awful too. Worst experience. This is a company that you can't rely on. They deliver at the time and day that they want, not the time that you need. There is not a real person to contact, only machines that keep sending you apologies. If you want to send any flowers or gifts, don's use them, unless you don't matter about the time and day that you request it. Awful service.

If I could give this service a 0 I would. I ordered flowers for my mom’s birthday and it arrived the night of her birthday. What’s the point of paying so much money, expecting it to arrive early, for her to enjoy during the day, and it arrives at night! Her birthday isn’t the next day!!! Not to mention the arrangement was hideous compared to what I ordered! I’m furious! 1800Flowers gets away because their stupid company policy quotes deliveries can be made 9am to 8pm. I mean, come on! What’s a better way of saying I’m an incompetent company that doesn’t really care for you and just wants your money, by keeping the delivery window so wide!

This place is a joke. They bait and switch you from the start by offering discount codes which do not work. I spent over 40 minutes on chat with Customer Service. I was originally told my 25% code would work if I spent over $99 so I added $205 to my cart. It did not work. They then told me the code would only work for HarryandDavid (which makes no sense) so they offered me a 15% off code for the trouble. I attempted to apply that code and it did not work either. Avoid this company at all costs!

My order did not arrive, customer service is beyond worthless, and after five days of trying to communicate with anyone, I finally just disputed the charge with my credit card. I am giving this company a zero (had to select one to submit) because I ordered flowers on a Saturday for hospitalized patients. My confirmation was for same day delivery. The card was charged immediately for the product. The patients never received their flowers and I received no notification. They wouldn’t be delivered as promised. I was on a chat multiple times. The last agent tried to give me a discount, but couldn’t promise a delivery until Monday (2 days after purchase). The delivery area was Charlottesville, VA. The purchasing platform (1-800 flowers website) still says same day delivery. The agent told me the florist has shortened hours on the weekend, but couldn’t reveal the name of the florist. Really poor and misleading practice. I cancelled the order and 1-800 who?

Do not order from these people. I ordered for my mom that was in the hospital and we never received flowers. I asked if I can get my money back and it is not a legit company. They stated that they dropped my flowers off to someone. They left and then they said I cancel my order which I did not do. I Asked for the name of the florist that was delivering. They could never give me a name and they kept putting me on hold and act like they were trying to contact someone. Do not order through this company. I repeat.

I ordered flowers for a funeral out of state, while I went through ProFlowers they are both owned by the same company. Hours before the service I get an email stating they can't deliver, no reason. And, I could either have them redelivered in 1-3 days, not helpful or a refund which I opted for. Issue come up but, only hours on advance notice is unacceptable. Will never use either company again.

I didn’t have a choice this time since it was a short notice sympathy situation but how this is legal and not being addressed is beyond me. BEWARE!!! This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any company. I can't stress this enough. I ordered a medium bouquet https://www.1800flowers.com/majestic-moments-194016 and added 2 Mylar balloons for my wife's birthday. Including the discount that was available, I paid $212.55. What I received was a small white bouquet with 9 roses, 1 rose stem with a missing head and a few other sad looking fillers. When they handed it to her I asked who sent her flowers (obviously this isn't what I ordered), so she opened the card. It was exactly what I had written in my order. How is that even possible? This looks worse than what I can get at Kroger down the street for $40!!! I was embarrassed and frustrated. I had to explain to her what happened and had to show her what I actually had intended for her to receive.
I always try to go above and beyond for her, and this does not represent what she has come to know me for. That's just where it started. On to customer service. My first attempt was a phone call. I spoke with a woman that had a very thick accent. When I explained what happened and gave her my order number, she proceeds to tell me that I received exactly what I had ordered and I had only paid $102 in total. Are you kidding me!?!! I have charges taken from my account that show the total of $212.55 and I have proof of this! She says that I was wrong and that I did not pay that much and it must be something wrong with my bank. This conversation goes in circles until I finally ask for a manager.
On to manager number 1. Essentially the same conversation that I just had with the previous rep, only in a different accent. On to manager #2. Once again insisting that I did not pay what I said I paid and I didn't order what I said I ordered. Can't I just send screen shots of my order, my account charges and the flowers I actually received? Sure. Let me get you an email for customer service.... I send the email with all of the proof of the original order, the charges and pictures of what was received.
The response was as follows: Upon reviewing the order, when the order was placed, the total was $212.55. The item was not available so the system automatically attached a new item. We do apologize for the misunderstanding caused. The new order total is $102.97. An updated order confirmation will be sent. Please expect it within 24 hours. If you would like to further verify that the deposit made was $102.97, I do recommend you contact our Billing department at your earliest convenience for us to search for the transaction
The item I ordered wasn't available so they took it upon themselves to substitute an item and short me the balloons I paid for. No option to cancel or change what I wanted. I was never contacted to explain that there would be an issue. Then to add insult to injury, what did arrive was absolute trash. It was an embarrassment.
I have done business with this company for many years and have spent literally $1000's with them. The early on experiences were good, so I continued business with them. The experience I had today was so horrible I will never order from here again. I will tell all of my friends, family, customers... If you made it this far, PLEASE!!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY! The customer service is the worst I have experienced in many years and I want to save you the trouble. Find a local florist with good reviews and help them feed their families.

I wanted to share a bad experience I had with 1-800 Flowers in hopes to save others unnecessary grief. A friend suddenly passed away and needed to send flowers to his family. Googled flowers, and found 1-800 Flowers. They offered a 20% discount, and the website looked good. I didn’t have much time to research and proceeded with my purchase. Applied for 20%, got an email, and clicked on the link. After completing the purchase, I realized that a 20 % discount was not applied. Contacted the support agent in ‘chat’ available on the website. The agent was nice and told me that in 10 business days, I’ll get my refund. In the meantime, my credit card was charged the full amount. Got busy, and after 30 days nothing happened.
I contacted 1-800 Flowers support again and was told that I was wrong and the discount was applied. I told the agent what happened and was told that I was wrong and the credit was applied. I showed the agent a credit card statement, but that didn’t help. Even after seeing the charges agent kept insisting that I was charged less than what the statement showed. He even sent me an email with the ‘wrong’ charges trying to prove his case. Either they are incompetent or just flat-out lying to you. Either way, not a company I want to do business with ever again. I had entered a dispute with the CC company, still waiting for the resolution.

Never delivered, and ruined my birthday surprise, they actually suggested to have it delivered the next day and give me a discount. Give me a break. Do not trust this company. I live across the country from my best friend. We've both been through a lot this year and I thought I'd brighten her birthday with flowers and a card. She got the flowers in a cheap plastic tub instead of the cute wicker basket they were supposed to come in. There were no festive curly party ribbons sprinkled throughout the arrangement. The arrangement itself looks a bit sloppy, but I can be a bit forgiving about that as they were supposed to be shaped like a cat. They did not send her the card I paid too much extra for and instead printed my message on regular paper. When I called to voice my concerns, they said they'd resend it. Doesn't fix the disappointment on a day that only comes once a year.
Now my friend has to be home for yet another delivery. I'm not going into details about why this is an issue. I asked for a partial refund but was refused. The operator I spoke to seemed kind and doing what she could, but when I asked to speak with a supervisor I was put on hold for 20 mins then she came back and said there was nothing else anyone would do and that the flowers would be resent. I am not happy at all. Save your money, order elsewhere.

I ordered flowers @ 9am with paying extra for delivery. They say they Guarantee delivery. Not only did it not come I called in time for them to still be delivered and they can do nothing. Do Not Do Business with this company. I suspect they know they can’t fill orders but still are taking customers money.

I buried my mother last weekend, and I buried her without flowers! I have been using 1-800-Flowers for years and never had an issue, so I scheduled flowers for my mother's funeral a full 7 days in advance. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from their contact center only 3 hours before the requested time of delivery only to be told they could not complete my order! The agent could not tell me why, so I assumed they didn't have anyone able to deliver, so I asked her to call them back and see if they could either get them to my hotel, or allow me to pick them up. A different agent contacted me nearly 50 minutes after the originally requested delivery time to tell me again they could not make the delivery. I then requested the name of the florist they had hired, and they would not provide it.
At that time, the agent attempted to blame me, saying they did not have enough time to complete the order, and my response was that I had placed the order a week ago. Their only offer, an arrangement to be sent to the family in my name (that was me, so I would effectively be sending myself flowers), and a refund. No other offer, or attempt to try to make it right. Thank you 1-800-Flowers, for taking what has been the worst day of my life to date and making it so much more painful. Do not trust them to follow through on anything that is critical, and do not expect any remorse when they completely fail to deliver.

I placed an order with Harry and David, After contacting them about my wrong order they mentioned that all basket orders are handled through 1800 baskets that belongs to 1-800-Flowers.com. So I was told to contact them. My order was for a beautiful brown basket with the blue ribbon, for my sick coworker, the one sent was smaller than the order placed and not what I ordered, so they replaced it and still wrong, the third replacement basket was wrong, not to mention the third mistake they sent a replacement with another recipients name and still the wrong basket. After demanding my money I back I got half of what I paid. They indicated the coworker received an order so can’t refund the money. This is craziness and bad business practices. I sent them pictures of every basket and the incorrect label and message card. Date of experience: March 05, 2024.

I ordered flowers for my daughter’s birthday. I was charged $85 for what I thought would be a beautiful bouquet. What was sent was pathetic. Just four or five tulips in really poor condition. The other flowers were in poor condition as well. I called customer service. He could hardly speak English and would only resend another order…the next day. He wanted to give me $20 coupon for future item. I told him I will never be using 1-800-Flowers again. Horrible experience!

I ordered an arrangement to be sent to my mom for her birthday. I set the delivery for March 8, 2024. I filled out the forms online for them to contact her upon arrival but she also has Ring cameras at the front, side and back of her house that would alert her if someone is on the property. I knew she would be home considering she works from home and nobody reached out to me or her to deliver the order. I spoke to five different representatives and three supervisors trying to find a resolution to no avail. They all promised delivery on March 11, 2024 and March 12, 2024 and she still has not received her order. I will NEVER order or recommend this company for anyone.

Company does not HAVE anything except a website and 3rd world call centers. The order is placed through an unknown 3rd party. You're likely to miss the opportunity to convey your thoughts, which will come out in broken English and misspelled words if you order with a live agent. 5 long calls later....Order delayed, then couldn't deliver, then was unable to cancel the order, all with agents who speak little English in various foreign country call centers, after longggg holds, after longgggg voice messaging directing you to their website. Remains to be seen if they successfully cancelled my order in a week. MY ADVICE-I WOULD NOT THINK OF ORDERING FROM THEM

I made an order for my daughter 16th birthday, something small but special. Dozen balloons 4in cake with 12 strawberries for her birthday. Look at email, now it's saying the cake and berries will be delivered on the next day. I'm so upset because now i'm not there, call them, they apologized, said they'll give refunded, informed me the delivery will still come the next day. Wait all day for the call that she got the delivery, no delivery, so now we're out of $157.32 and a lil disappointed mom on her kid's 16th birthday. I'd never use and or recommend this company

I have twice now (a couple of years apart) ordered from 1-800-Flowers. Neither time the order was delivered. I ordered yesterday am at 630am ET for a sympathy bouquet for a death. I paid a premium (above their already steep service charge) to have the flowers delivered between 9am-12n. After no delivery by noon, I contacted support via the chat and was advised that they were still being processed and they refunded the service charge. By 5pm, still no flowers, I contacted support again and was told they'd be delivered by 9pm.
Next day, still no flowers, contacted support again only to be told "after reviewing the notes, they see the local florist was not able to fulfill the order due to not having the correct stock." They never contacted me, never issued a refund, nothing. If I hadn't continually chased this down, I don't believe I would have ever been made aware that the recipient didn't get the order and would not have received a refund. If this happened once, then ok, an error. But second time, it's fraud. Don't waste your time nor money. Go elsewhere.

They replaced them and again they were bad and then again I contact them for a full refund. They stated they was gonna give me my refund within 7 to 10 business and here we are March 2 and I have not received a refund.

I’m ordering last night 8:00pm 2/13/2024, large bought flowers for my wife. $154.00 total price, for Valentine's Day, and the next day all ready 2:45 pm, and no Flowers for my wife, I make a phone call at customer service, they said, "You ordered is ready in process but we don’t know what time yet take to delivery at your home," I expect my wife enjoy her flowers on Valentine Day 14, the representative at the phone said we have to wait until 8:00 pm, is a policy, so I decided cancel my order. I don’t care money back, keeping my investment on your service, but the representative said, no we need to wait, but I’m insisting, cancel, I don’t like the service, I don’t claim my money back.
I decided buy flowers at the Home Depot, I my wife enjoy the flowers when a get home, 1800 Flowers, really bad service, they used local store where you leave for make you order arrived at your home, because later 6:15pm, flowers at my door, they charge really well for my order, and the pic for the flowers, looks phenomenal, nice, but surprise, my Home Depot Flowers $34.99, better, so for me is really online 1800 flowers, is only profit, they’re just for the business $$$$, they don’t care the customer, my first time used and my last time, Bad service for me.

I ordered surprise flowers for my wife around 0900 today. I paid an absurd fee so that they were same day flowers. I just received a phone call that whatever dollar store florist they use, can’t fill the order and that they want to send them tomorrow. That isn’t acceptable as no one will be home. They were supposed to be a surprise for my wife. Something sweet. This cut rate company waits until there is no possible way to use a different company before telling you they can’t fill your order. Then they said they’d refund my money but it will take 10 days. So I paid for a product I didn’t get and won’t get my money back for over a week? Absolute garbage.

My son was sweet to send me a flower arrangement for my first Valentine's after my husband passed. I will always be thankful for his kindness. The arrangement he ordered was from 1800 Flowers and unfortunately it was so very disappointing. From the minute I opened the box you could tell that the tulips were not going to open and the leaves were all brown and brittle. Thankful for my son but so disappointed in in 1800 Flowers.

This company is a big fat ripoff! They cover up their bad reviews by not posting them! Kind of funny that only the company has the final say on what they post... it seems to be only 5-star ft reviews. What a joke. Took me for over 100 bucks and the so-called boutique looked like it was made from the dollar store! When I wrote a review to them... their solution was to sit on a 30-45 minute call with customer service and give me a 50-dollar credit. 1-800 flowers should have returned my money. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY. You can plan on being ripped off! Also, pretty convenient that 1-800 flowers doesn't have a place to upload the photos of the product that was delivered. The arrangement had half the flowers!!! Yes! I said half the flowers!! I wouldn't loved to show what I paid for and what was delivered.

I got a delivery for Valentine's. It was flowers and what should have been good quality chocolates for the amount they charge for the sweets/chocolate. I tasted one of the chocolates delivered and it was disgusting. It was a gift so I didn't say anything. Fast forward to Saturday, I happen to go past the candy aisle at the Dollar Tree and there was the same box of chocolate for 1.25! So they charge 15-20 dollars for something they picked up from Dollar Tree? I went on their page, to ask for a refund, spoke to an agent and they refused to refund. Please be warned!! Don't buy flowers from these clowns. Go to your local florist, order Edible Arrangements, or build your own flower arrangement. These people are crooks and they take no responsibility for the garbage they sell.

The flowers were very expensive (=3x the price of store-bought flowers), but I didn't have time to shop so I purchased them anyway. I had no update on delivery until a 6 pm email that said they'd been delivered. They hadn't. I spent 34 minutes dealing first with an automated chatbot, then a chat with a supposedly real person who asked me to confirm everything I'd just entered into the chat, which this "person" claimed to have just read. I regularly asked if this is a real person and, if not, to please let me speak with a real person. These pleas are ignored. The response time between my entries and their answer often took 2-3 minutes to appear.
After 25 minutes, the "person" realizes that the flowers never arrived, despite what their records showed, but she said she could do nothing. While this exchange is ongoing, I call the help number for 1800-Flowers so I can speak with a real person. That person says they can't help because the flowers have been delivered (they hadn't). While I'm speaking with her, the flowers arrive, at 9:44 pm--almost 4 hours after 1800-Flowers insisted they'd been delivered. The delivery person couldn't explain why I was told via email and chat and phone that the flowers had been delivered when they hadn't.
The bouquet was supposed to have 6 roses, but it had 2, and had daisies instead. The bouquet was also quite small, despite being advertised as a "large" bouquet. The next day, I called the local florist who prepared them, and they badmouthed 1800-Flowers to no end. In short, the product was not what was advertised in size or content, they lied about the delivery time, the customer service was awful, the response was, in effect, "too bad for you", the price was 3x the price of store-bought flowers, and they don't value your time. Just work directly with your local florist, instead.

Many years ago I ordered flowers for my wife on her birthday. When 8pm came around, which was the latest time I was given for it to be delivered, she did not receive her flowers. I had to call 1-800-flowers to find out what happened. They apologized and said they would have to be delivered the next day. I did not like this because it was the day after her birthday, which defeated the purpose. I did not use 1-800-flowers for many years because of this experience.
Fast forward many years later to Feb 14, 2024. I decided to give 1-800-flowers another chance. I saw an ad for same day delivery for Valentine’s Day. I was planning on picking up flowers for my wife, but when I saw the ad I figured I would try this route because of the same day delivery ad. Later that day I received a call saying that the flowers would not be able to be delivered that day due to so many orders the flower shop received. They offered to deliver the flowers the next day, and again even though it was the day after and defeated the purpose of having them delivered on Valentine’s Day I agreed.
On Feb 15, 2024 I received another call from 1-800-flowers saying that the flowers could not be delivered on Feb 15, 2024 for the same reason. Now it would have to be delivered on Feb 16, 2024. My thought is, do not post an ad for same day delivery unless it can be accomplished or find a vendor that can accomplish this. Because this happened many years ago and happened many years later, I will NEVER use 1-800-flowers EVER again. I also would NEVER recommend anyone using them.

I ordered flowers and chocolate covered strawberries on January 30th to be delivered to my wife's work for Valentines Day. I paid an extra charge for Valentines Day delivery not to mention and exorbitant amount of money for the entire service. Come Valentines Day I kept checking for updates each hour waiting for the status to go from Confirmed to Delivered or at least shipped. Come 2pm, I called 1800 Flowers for an update and was told there was a "Processing Error" and I will not get my order delivered today, despite ordering 2 weeks ago. I call at night to see what happened.
After a whole hour on the phone they agreed to give me half my money back, put in a new order and guarantee me next day delivery. Fast forward to the next day. No updates. I call at 1 and GUESS WHAT. I am told they couldn't "Fill my order". Are you kidding me? Literally what I said. I demanded to speak to a manager and they put me on hold for a while and told me no manager was available but that one would call me back within 30 min. Here I am 6 hours later with no call. So I had to ask someone else to drive me to a local flower shop (broken leg and cannot drive) to get a similar flower arrangement and finding chocolate covered strawberries the day after Valentines Day was impossible.
I got home, called 1800 Flowers for what felt like the 10th time in 2 days and was apologized again to after I asked him if it seemed ridiculous to him too. They supposedly refunded my money, who knows, time will tell. The Rep this time just said "Sorry, anything else I can do?" Like he was ready for the next upset customer. Absolutely disgusted with what happened, terrible, terrible service and I will tell all my friends and family to NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AWFUL INSTITUTION

I have been a customer of 1-800 Flowers for 10+ years and have never had such a poor experience. Long story short, I preordered Valentine's Day flowers FEB-05 for a FEB-14 delivery (I even paid extra for a FEB-14 delivery). On Valentine's Day, the flowers we never delivered - I didn't hear a peep from 1-800. By 5PM I called and asked what the status was, only to hear, "We are sorry but your order is not available." Horrific. You have lost me as a customer.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentine's Day. I received both text and email confirmations that the flowers were delivered. This was surprising since I was home and we have security cameras that are triggered when we receive deliveries. I checked our front and back doors. Nothing! After 2 frustrating hours of virtual chats and phone calls to 1-800-FLOWERS they said the flowers were actually en route and would be at my home by 8 pm. By 9:30 pm there was still NO delivery. Customer service was frustrating. Each time they would insist that the flowers were delivered. Each time I had to repeatedly explain that I did not get the delivery and that I could prove that no delivery was made. Each time the rep would say some version of "Oh, the delivery is on its way." I would absolutely not recommend using 1800FLOWERS.

1800Flowers has ruined 3 prior events for me, so I haven't ordered in almost two years. I decided to try ONE MORE TIME to order flowers, balloons and candy for my wife for Valentine's Day 2024. The ordering went easily. The entire day went by and my wife came home from work without the gift. The website says, "It looks like your order should have been delivered already. Would you like to chat with an associate?" So of course, I did. The representative finds my order information for order number ** and proceeds to tell me "Your order is unavailable, that's why it wasn't delivered." I stated, "Your website sold it, said it would be delivered today and you failed yet again. What was your plan? You didn't contact me at all to say it wasn't available. You didn't email, you didn't call, nothing. You were just going to let it go and hope I'd forget or something after nearly $200 was spent?"
She said, "I can offer you a $20 gift credit to use on a future purchase." I said, "Yet another ruined day thanks to 1800Flowers. No, just refund me immediately. I will never use your services ever again and will share this with anyone I know that considers using your service." She simply said, "Ok, I have processed the refund. Anything else I can do?" I was/am beyond angry with this company. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER USE 1800FLOWERS!!!

I received flowers today 2/14/2024 as a gift and they were in terrible condition and it was not due to the delivery person. The flowers were cut poorly, the flowers were damaged, and the vase provided to display the flowers was far too large for the type of flower and amount of flowers. After speaking to a number of representatives and requesting a supervisor my friend was finally provided a refund.

Garbage service. I've trusted them for 3 deliveries in the past year, each time, thinking they would make amends for previous non-deliveries. Shame on me the last 2 times, for sure. 1st time was a friend sick in the hospital. Arrangement order was confirmed, but never delivered. Had to fight for a refund as they wanted to re-deliver at a later date then it would be too late! 2nd time was for a funeral. Again, never got the arrangement delivered even though the charge was placed on my card and I had an emailed confirmation.
Also again, had to threaten legal action and chargeback to my credit card for the refund. 3rd time, today, flowers were to be delivered to my Wife as she works tomorrow on Valentine's Day. Order placed a week ago. No delivery today. They want to offer a $20 "sorry" and re-delivery attempt after Valentine's Day. I can't describe the unprofessionalism with them or lack of empathy they show for consistent failings. Too many other options for you to risk here.

3 dozen roses in a red vase and a box of candy were offered as a set for Valentine's Day. The candy was sent separately 2 weeks before the flowers. The flowers were delivered a day early and were smashed in a box. They were not arranged as shown. The were full of thorns, all different lengths and pretty dried out. While cutting the ends so the flowers could take in water, petals were falling off the roses. Even though I carefully cut 1 inch off the bottom of each rose, the lengths of the stems varied by as much as 6 inches and I could not get an arrangement that looked like the picture. I have plenty of cheap forest vases. If they are not being delivered arranged, I would prefer they didn't include vase. This was not an inexpensive item but I found the quality to be no better than the supermarket flower bunches.

Ordered two dozen roses. Upon delivery 10 of the roses had fallen off of the stems. The rest were sickly. They were not left outside or anything. It was simply an extremely bad bunch of roses. Go to a local florist. Even if you pay a bit more it will be worth it.

I ordered and paid $109.99 CAD plus $19.99 CAD service charge the "Fields of Europe Romance" extra large bouquet in a vase which was supposed to include various flowers and at least seven (7) long stem roses. The local florist affiliated to "1-800 Flowers.com" delivered a bouquet with some miserable unopened or wilted flowers including three (3) roses! Less than the small bouquet version which was supposed to include four (4) roses. To add insult to injury, the delivery person did not ring the bell and just left the flowers uncovered on my porch while the temperature outside was below freezing and the flowers froze/wilted by the time I opened my door a few hours later.

Order flowers for my daughter in Houston TX. The description was a beautiful bouquet of roses and carnations in a pretty vase. The minute they were delivered, she opened the box and 50% of the rose petals had already fallen off, and the flowers ~ every single one looked AWFUL! The price I paid $99.57. Chatted with their customer service - get this - for 1.5 hours to try to get a replacement order. There were long gaps of silence and by the time I was assured another style of bouquet would be delivered - the rep said to me “there’s no additional charge for the replacement”. I'm a bit disappointed in 1800 Flowers. I put down delivery for 2/14 when ordering and I was just given notice yesterday that delivery would be on the 12th. I didn't want the 12th. I wanted the 14th. 1800 just ruined my surprise. I'm not taking this lightly. Last time this happened with a company where they missed the mark, I no longer did business with them. This was something special that I had planned and now it's ruined. How hard is it?

I ordered flowers for a special person for a special occasion for same day delivery. They were not delivered the same day and haven't arrived yet. I also had ordered chocolates that were to be same day then became 4 days to deliver. I keep talking to customer service and not getting much help or answers. I will not use this company again. I ordered a casket cover on Jan 20 to be delivered on Jan 25 to ensure I had the flowers in enough time for a funeral on Jan 26. The order was confirmed. They took the payment from my account. At no time did I receive an email, phone call, or any notification that there was an issue with fulfillment. I call on Jan 25 at 7pm and the automated message said it was out for delivery and I should receive by 8pm. I called at 7:50 to speak with a representative, and was told the order was not fulfilled. They said the florist notified them they could not fulfill the order but 1-800-Flowers did not notify me. Now it is the evening before the funeral and I do not have flowers. The rep "apologized for the inconvenience" and offered a refund. They did not make any attempt to rectify this situation. This is the LAST THING I should be worried about on the eve of the funeral of a loved one. I AM BEYOND LIVID! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I honestly wouldn't wish bad things upon this company under normal circumstances-- every business has a poor transaction or two-- but given the absolutely evil pricing of their products I think this company deserves to die a fiery death. I was hesitant to order from 1-800 Flowers, given that I was sending a small bamboo plant and a box of chocolates for almost $120 USD, but I decided that what I was actually paying for was a timely and careful delivery, which was worth the expense.
Man do I wish I had done some research. My first anniversary gift is now coming late, which the company has yet to notify me about. I've only found that out through FedEx's tracking website (yes, they ship their products through FedEx). What I did receive is an email informing me that they failed to attach my custom message to the gift. I would expect at least a lame, 5% off apology coupon for this, but was instead offered the service of sending a free e-card through their website. Given that I could do that through a number of better websites anyway, I wasn't amused. It isn't a miracle that these people don't allow reviews on their website. Please, spend your money anywhere else.

This company is disgusting. They are stealing money from people that pay good money for FLOWERS. I was on the phone with customer service 5 times and each time they said it would get delivered that day. I ordered my flowers on January 11th (same day delivery). It’s the 16th now of January. Still no flowers. And to top it off they send me emails that my flowers were delivered which is a complete lie. Somebody should sue this company. Disappointed and disgusting that this company does this to good paying customers. They should be called 1-800 Scammers. 0 star.

Their local distributor just kept part of the order and did not deliver. And 1 800 Flowers.com is not responding. Horrible service from 1800flowers.com and the local flower shop. I cannot reach customer service at all. I have been in the chat and it keeps writing that I should wait until 8pm which is the end of the delivery window. I am going to try that but so far no success to get a hold of anyone.

Now they say they’re going to be delivered tomorrow which is not her birthday nor will she be at home so they are just planning on leaving a $200 flower arrangement in front of a college apartment and a college town so I can guarantee you this will be stolen by the time my daughter even gets home. This company totally sucks. They give no forethought for the expense people are putting in and the sentiment behind getting flowers for a special occasion. Now my daughter’s birthday is completely ruined and I am sitting here crying as I’m typing this review. Don’t ever use them!

I ordered flowers for my aunts birthday. I placed the order 11/16/23 and scheduled it for 12/29/23. It did not arrive. I called and did live chat and only after hours of being put on hold and brushed off I was told it would be delayed to the 3rd. I am now spending another hour of my life trying to find out why I cannot even track the new delivery with the info they gave me. I was just informed the delivery has been pushed to the 6th. The customer service line and live chat have been so unhelpful the only conclusion left for me is that incompetence and irritation was the objective; no company can be this terrible without actively pursuing terrible as a goal.

I ordered a large "Holiday Tree" which which was to be a Christmas tree shaped arrangement with all flowers. What they got was a candle table centerpiece. When I finally got through to a live person in "customer service" they sent a replacement which looked like a pathetic bare Christmas tree with a handful of flowers as ornaments. Total garbage. Product is inferior and Customer Service is a joke. All you get is virtual care with "we are busy" when you select a live person to be connected to. Another humorous aspect is the 1800 Flowers website reviews are all 4-5 star positive. BBB and Yelp with 350 reviews are 1-2 stars. I sent two negative reviews to 1800 FLOWERS and neither one was published so all a scam.

Ordered about 9:00 am for same day delivery. Tracked order several times during the day. Order showed delivered at approximately 8:00 pm. It was not! Used online chat to track. They just disconnected the chat with no explanation. Called the helpline next. Nice girl in ** tells me the florist had tried to deliver but nobody was home. A FLAGRANT LIE! The recipient was home all day and they also had her telephone number. DO NOT USE this company unless you just enjoy rude treatment, prevarications and disappointment.

I ordered flowers to deliver on the 23rd of December. At 1PM on the 23rd I got email that flowers are ready to be delivered. When by the end of the day flowers were not delivered I contacted 1-800-Flowers Customer Service. They told "sorry" and that they will deliver on the 24th. In 30 minutes they told " sorry" we can not deliver on the 24th, we will deliver on the 27th. In other 15 minutes they told " sorry" we can not deliver on the 27th either. I did not continue with this and ask for refund. They told "yes" and next day on the 24th charged money instead of refunding.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful fruit basket as a Christmas gift. They charged extra for Saturday delivery and extra for next day delivery. When I checked to see if my order had been delivered, my order was cancelled. "Sorry we don't deliver there. We will return your money soon." So the Christmas gift that I ordered is not being delivered and they have my money so I can't order anything else. If you can't deliver there, don't take my money. Grrrr!

My friend ordered a Christmas Gardenia for me from 1-800-Flowers based on the photo shown. The plant I received looked nothing like the picture, other than the foliage. There was not one flower on the plant and very few, very tiny, buds. I doubt the plant will be blooming by Easter, let alone Christmas. There was no identifying information or care instructions sent with the plant. It is so root-bound that is has to be water daily as there is no dirt in the pot to hold water. When I filed a complaint with them I was told, after much unpleasant discussion, that the sender would have to contact them for a refund. I will never deal with this company again. Too many better, more reputable companies.

I ordered flowers on 11-25-23 and wanted them delivered on 12-18-23. They were not cheap 98.00 dollars. The flowers where never delivered. No explanation no updates. Only compensation was a 20.00 coupon to their site and their apologies. This place sucks and I will never order from them again and will tell everybody I know not to use them. I know this will not affect them. I'm just trying to warn prospective buyers.

I ordered an arrangement on a Friday for a funeral that was happening the following Monday. The day of the funeral I called to verify the time and I was assured that the flowers would arrive on time. As people were leaving the church the delivery man brought in the flowers and just placed them at the back of the church. No explanation, no apology, no offer to take them to the graveside. When I called the company to request a refund they offered 50% back, this was an arrangement that was almost $300, not to mention my sadness that the flowers did not arrive on time.
Ultimately, after a long time on the phone, they offered to send a new arrangement to the recipient of my choice, for no charge. I thought that was reasonable but still not satisfactory. The arrangement that ultimately was received by my cousin was pretty but not at all what was pictured on their website. I will never use this service again. I will give props to the representative that I worked with, (Lilibeth) who was kind and very sympathetic to the whole situation.

Their Customer Service Representatives are unable to assist! Firstly, there is a horrible language barrier/ability to understand them. Secondly, they are unable to communicate -resolve issues. I just renewed my Celebrations Passport on 12-2-23 and since then, I'm still unable to use it! I've given up and they may keep my $19.95 renewal and I'll order elsewhere/order something else instead of flowers! OMG! I'm so frustrated. Worst CS Ever!

Did flowers order to deliver in Prague (Czech Republic) a WEEK AHEAD of our niece anniversary day. At early morning of delivery day got email stating order is ready for delivery from local florist, then nothing. At the end of the day, having no delivery confirmation from recipient, got into chat on 1-800-FLOWERS website with two representatives sequentially, both totally helpless to explain why this happened, can it be fixed ASAP and so on. Next day had a phone conversation with another one representative. Finally flowers were delivered 3 days later. The only apology from 1-800-FLOWERS is a formal "sorry" and $20 discount with next order.... Really, with another competitors on the market? Here, in US, I would get full refund for failed service from most of suppliers.

I placed an order yesterday for same day delivery cake. ORDER #: **. I also signed up for the passport service that was an additional $19.99. It was my dad's 86th birthday. The confirmation screen showed me it would be delivered by 1:30 PM in recipient's time zone. I called my family at 4 PM (recipient time zone) to confirm if the delivery was done. It was not done. No worries, I chatted with online chat service on the company's website and they assured me it would be delivered by/before 8 PM (recipient time zone). I TRUSTED THEM.
At 8 PM, again I checked with my family. We were having a family gathering to celebrate dad's special day (especially since not everyone is lucky enough to celebrate 86th birthday. We know as we lost our mom last year!). There was NO CAKE. I again reached out to online customer service and they said they have no update from the vendor and will make the delivery the next day!!! I asked to cancel my order and give a full refund, including the passport service fee as I don't plan to use their pathetic service in the future. I explained about the 86th birthday etc.
They refused to give full refund and gave me another 800 number to call for the passport service refund!! I had made a full payment on the company website and I expect the full refund to be issued from them. Why should a customer chase different departments to get the refund in bits and pieces!!! I had to contact customer service on phone and fight with them to get the refund. I even offered to not cancel the order as long as they can still make a delivery. They refused.... I would NEVER use their services nor would recommend it to my friends. They have spoilt my dad's birthday and are most unreliable, in my opinion.

I've never rated a vendor or filed a complaint, however after 2 failed deliveries I need to express my concern. I ordered deliveries of 2 arrangements to go to 2 different addresses on 2 different dates. I received confirmations for both of them and NEITHER arrived as promised and I was not contacted to advise me of that. I had to call recipients. My daughter's arrived after business hours and my friend's never arrived. The customer service is excellent and they resolved the issue but all this took place a week late.

We tried to send flowers same day to a funeral for a close family friend, the extra charge for same day was paid but flowers not delivered on date promised, not even did they deliver the next day, which was the date of the funeral. When called they said they could send it the house, which we accepted. Then they notified us they couldn't find anyone with a large peace lily to deliver and they issued a refund (This was in Louisville KY so not a small town). We also ordered a personalized blanket to be delivered to the the daughter of the deceased and paid for expediated delivery. It was promised to be delivered in 4-5 days, it never. After 11 days I was told they couldn't fulfill delivery and I was issued a refund but could reorder (why would I put myself through this again). I wish I had it all over to do so I could have used a local vendor. Now it looks as if we did nothing close for a family friend. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I tried to order a center piece for Thanksgiving. After completing all the information the web site, I got a window stating that they could not accept my order at this time. The next day I had a withdrawal for $69.53 from my checking account. I received no conformation number and I believed the order had been canceled. Called customer service, and they could not help me without a confirmation number. According to customer service they never received the order and I would be credited in 48 hours. It is now four days later, no credit, no flowers, just a withdrawal from my account. In my opinion this is outright fraud. I would not do business with this company.

Do not put your trust in this company for your important occasions! I came here to leave a lousy review/complaint because I'm seething! I was blown away by the number of other people screwed over by this company! I ordered flowers for a funeral today - same day delivery. The idiot driver "couldn't find" the address... (of the funeral home on a main street in Westboro, MA, mind you!) So I get a call informing me of this at 3:30pm and letting me know the driver had already left the location and they "won't be going back" ! Oh really???? I blew my stack! The rep was very helpful and called back at 4:15pm with the news that they contracted another shop who guaranteed delivery by 8-8:30am tomorrow morning, which was still acceptable. Okay... happy and relieved now.
"Cue 6:37pm!" We're so sorry - we were just informed by the shop that they can't guarantee delivery for tomorrow morning, but... "We can send to the family's home"! Whaaaatttt??? "The family?" Well, let's see... in a big Italian "family"... who's house should I choose? Blood pressure goes thru the roof again and I demand to speak to a supervisor who at first is "too busy to talk with me".... It's laughable... I hold nothing back now, demanding they get her on the phone. She does. I say "you're not a Mom and Pop business! You mean to tell me a million dollar+ company like yours can't secure a flower delivery within the hundreds of shops you're contracted with?".
As I'm sure you can already guess, it was a complete waste of time! But... they will provide a "refund"! I told her they owed me money... not a refund (because they better not have charged a single penny on my card!), but they should pay me the amount of the flowers because of their incredible screw-up which now leaves me screwed, because guess what??? All the flower shops are now closed for the night and don't open in the morning until it's too late! They have lost my business for good... it's the 2nd time I've incurred this issue - there won't be a 3rd and I will be sure to let my very large family and friends know to steer clear. I am furious, embarrassed and heartbroken over this and I will never forget it!!!

I completed their automated survey and was advised, I would be given a $20.00 credit to my account and a replacement would be sent to the recipient. Neither of these things happened and and emailed again with no response. I ordered the high end flowers which arrived in a broken vase and a few of the flowers were broken. I placed an order for a plant for a relative who had surgery, the total price was $69.81 which I paid using my debit card. Once I checked my online statement my account had two pending transactions for $69.81. They place a security hold for the amount of the purchase for which your bank will debit your account twice, the hold will come off in about 3 to 5 days. Which this policy is so ridiculous and they don't tell you this before ordering. This is not the only issue I have had with them, which I don’t feel like getting into right now, but all I will say is stay away from this place. It truly sucks.

Twice I have ordered from them and not had the delivery when promised. The latest time their ad kept saying if you order in 2 hours, you’ll get it delivered today. So, I ordered. I included my contact info and the recipients (it was for her special open house), and I asked to be notified by text for updates of delivery. I did not receive notification and the delivery was not completed. Instead, they gave me a NEW order the next day, and did not charge me. The agent I am talking to right now said she cannot issue me a refund, but then suddenly offers me 50% back. It’s not worth the hassle of working with these guys. They lie. They trick you.

Do NOT use them! I ordered flowers and chocolates for my mother. They were suppose to be delivered the next day. They never showed up. I contacted customer service and was told they will arrive the next day. I was told a complete lie to cover their butts. They said the shop was closed and the delivery driver had already left for that day’s deliveries. The next afternoon I proceeded to check the status, nothing. No update. I was given another line of crap saying, I will call the shop and see what’s going on. They came back saying nobody answered their call. (Should have been a sign) then out of nowhere they get a call saying the order is on the way. If it’s not here by 8pm then please call. Oh boy did I call!
Customer service kept trying to give me discounts, refund my shipping, saying the orders can’t be cancelled and we will ensure delivery tomorrow. HECK NO!! I was given lie after lie and wasn’t going to deal with more. Also you can’t spell anyone’s name in customer service as they’re ALL foreign and don’t speak English very well. Had to ask for a manager who tried to get me to continue with my orders. NOPE! I wanted my $140 back. Do NOT do business with them! I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing! AVOID them. Go to Kroger, Walmart or somewhere else!! Not worth the aggravation of dealing with this company.

I recently purchased a sympathy fruit basket for a family. After viewing the details of the product, it stated the contents and the dimensions of the basket, (18"L x 12"W x 12"H). After a delayed delivery, I contacted Customer Service, and I received a photo of the item delivered. I notice the box was too small for its dimensions. I was embarrassed to call the family and asked them to check the contents and size. After comparing the web-site's list, it resulted that there were items missing, spoiled and the basket size was different, (14"L x 14"W x 4"H). I had to contact customer service several times that ended with no results. I then requested to speak with a supervisor. I was informed that a replacement basket will be sent with its original size and contents within 2 days. Again, same results of the basket size and missing contents.
I called again and was informed that another replacement will be shipped within several days, however the dimensions were different, (15.75"L x15.8"W x5.25"). When I asked why, I was told that the original order has these dimensions. I told them it was impossible. I have proof of the original order and a web-site printed copy of the dimensions. Lo and behold, the web changed the dimensions of the basket, but not before I was able to get the proof. For this I was offered a $20 gift card for future orders. News Flash... I won't be ordering from 1-800 Flowers.

Zero stars! I cannot recommend enough avoiding using 1-800-Flowers as a florist. I had purchased a beautiful looking bouquet for Bosses Day/Birthday to be delivered during a specific time frame, 10:00am-12:00pm, at our office. They did not arrive. I contacted customer service and they assured me that they were out for delivery and would arrive by 5pm, as is their policy for business deliveries. At 5:04pm, I received a confirmation email stating that the flowers had been delivered. They had not.
I contacted customer service a second time, with a response of, "We're so sorry, can we deliver tomorrow instead?" I proceed with that as a plan since it was a joint gift from our team and they again promised to deliver during 10:00am-12:00pm. Again, the mark is missed. I contact them for a third time, they assure that they are en route and will be there prior to 2:00pm. Again, no flowers and marked as delivered at 5:06pm, when they were not. I feel like this is beyond shady practices. Two times they claimed that the flowers were received! TWO TIMES! Had I not been following up, I would have been none the wiser and paid for a service that was never provided. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have used 1800 Flowers a few times, and this will be the last. Every time the order is either late, the flowers are not as described, etc. The last order I placed was for chocolate covered strawberries. They tried to deliver to my company at 7:00pm - it is supposed to same day delivery. They wanted to give me $20.00 credit for another order, Why so you can screw it up again and they wanted to "attempt" to deliver it 2 days late but no guarantee it would be delivered before 3:00pm. I am done with them, I am going to call and delete my account with them.

I have been a customer of 1800-Flowers for years and always satisfied with the easy online order process. I called to place an order on Sunday October 1st for 3 floral arrangements for my mother's Memorial Service on Sunday Oct 8th to be ready & delivered to Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home by 10am. The representative processed and sent me email confirmation. I then received a call 2 days later stating that the order was cancelled by one of your employees. I was put on hold for 40 minutes until the representative looked into why it was cancelled. No explanation was given as to why. I was also told that they could reorder but they could not find a florist to Accommodate all 3 arrangements. Back & forth on the phone for 45min. I finally asked for a supervisor (ANGELA) who tried to look into the cancellation and "IF" she could fulfill my order by OCT 8TH.
It's hard enough having to grieve and make arrangements, but I NEVER thought that your company would cause such stress ordering a product. Your company is well known and you would think that ordering from such a reputable company would be easy & stress free. NOT THE CASE. After waiting another 20 minutes for a return call from Angela I was informed that she reordered my arrangements and that the delivery time & date is as I originally requested. I'm still worried that your company will NOT service my original order, date & time. I will not be using your company in the future. Shame on 1-800-Flowers. Your reputation in my opinion is below standard.

First the box was not marked, "This side up" so the one that delivered didn't know which way to have it so he put it up with the label on top which makes sense. When I gently opened the box the vase fell out. It landed on my foot or it would have landed on the floor and maybe chipped or broke. Then the flowers were not fresh at all and there weren't very many in there. I don't know what was ordered but there were very few flowers for the size of the vase. Then the chocolate covered strawberries the ice pack had completely melted and they started melting onto the box so the box was all sticky.
I used to use a different flower companies to order for Across the Nation but now whatever company you choose it all seems to go to 1-800 Flowers and I think they are not a good company anymore whoever took them over. I do not recommend them. I don't know if you order from your local florist if it ends up with the same flowers when they call across the country. I just feel like the product all around was a very poor quality and handled incorrectly I feel like the flowers the product was held up somewhere in a warehouse or a parked truck.

If 1-800-flowers.com does not provide shipping to a specific address, the site will change the address to one that they do deliver to without the customer knowing. I spent way too much money for a stranger to receive a gift meant for someone else. Please fix this problem, I see many reviews with the same issue and no response to them. Which makes sense when a company doesn't want to fix a problem. Also, I am aware that you are working on a new online moderator? You need someone to fix the inside or algorithm before the moderators can do their work properly. You also lacked a confirmation page during my experience (stealing). Maybe confirm before you send a product to an abandoned house.

AWFUL Online I ordered a beautiful cross for my family member's funeral along with a card. I paid over $200 for the flowers. When my mother saw the flowers she called me upset. I had another family member take a picture. Not only did the flowers look absolutely NOTHING like the pictures but 1-800 Flowers customer service told me they would refund the full amount but when I received the refund it was short $32.57. When I talked to Kristine (a customer service supervisor) she couldnt even see the original receipt so I wasted 35min on the phone waiting talk to someone incompetant. I had to go to the priority team and threaten to sue for emotional distress just for a the remaining $32.57! Ridiculous.

On September 5, 2023, I ordered flowers by phone from 1-800-Flowers to be delivered on September 7, 2023 to a funeral service on September 8, 2023 for a family member. The sales person said he would personally see to it that the flowers would be delivered (a disgraceful lie). During the funeral service I was sent a video of the service that showed all the flowers present but the flowers I ordered from 1-800-Flowers were not there.
I immediately called 1-800-Flowers to find out why the flowers were not delivered and was told “there is a note here that the florist would not deliver the flowers on the requested date”. They had no answer to my question “why didn’t you inform me of this so I could make alternate arrangements”? They also made no inclination to return my money. I had to specifically demand that they return my money to which they replied that it would take 10 business days and as if they were doing me a favor. These flowers were extremely important and this company’s lies and incompetence has caused great pain to my family. This “company” is a fraud and should be investigated.

My father's funeral was today at 9a.m. and I ordered from 1-800-Flowers. The time was clearly marked in 2 spots when ordering. I would like to say please think twice when ordering from this company. The company they choose to deliver the flowers failed to deliver both bouquets of flowers. 1800-flowers has been giving me the run around all day. The flowers NEVER ended up being delivered at ALL and neither was the personalized card. With this being such an important day I will say I will NEVER order from this company again. Never trust them with important delivery of your order. They not only fail to deliver in the requested time frame, THEY CHEAT YOU by delivering the smallest size of the flower arrangement even if you pay for the Extra Large size. I ordered the Extra Large Heartfelt Tribute™ White Floor Basket Arrangement to be delivered to a funeral home. Added a note requesting that the flowers be delivered no later than 1pm. Based on their Product Details, the size of what I ordered was EXTRA LARGE MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 39"H X 42"L. Immediately after ordering the flowers online, called their Customer Service and emphasized that the delivery should be done before 1pm to the funeral home.
At 11am of the day of delivery I called their Customer Service and reminded them that the flowers should be delivered no later than 1pm to the funeral home. The Customer Service agent assured me that he would personally see to it that it is done. ON THE DAY OF THE FUNERAL THE FLOWERS WERE NOT DELIVERED.
I called their Customer Service at 3pm asking why the flowers were not delivered. They said they would be delivered by 8pm. When I told them that the funeral was over and nobody was there to receive the flowers, they offered to send the flowers within an hour. I repeated that the funeral was over and asked them to at least deliver the flowers to the deceased house. They rerouted the order but delivered THE SMALLEST SIZE! I feel cheated by 1800flowers.com and WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN.

I am a Celebrations Passport member and order all my corporate gifts, family birthday and holiday gifts through Passport. I immediately thought to use them for my mom's funeral since I don't live in the same area as my parents and don't know a local florist. On 7/28 and 7/29. I ordered a total of 3 extra large funeral arrangements for my mother's funeral. They were to be delivered to the funeral home on 8/4. The website asked what time the funeral was, and I entered 10 AM. I correctly entered the name, address and phone number of the funeral home. The graveside service was 8/5 at 10 AM. The funeral home instructed me to have the flowers delivered the day before (8/4) so they could set them graveside early the day of the service.
I arrived at the Cemetery the day of her funeral to find no flowers. I looked on my account and see "delivery attempted at 6:44 pm 8/4, redelivery to be handled by local florist". I try to 'chat' with customer service, but had to abandon after 15 min because my mom's funeral started. After the service, I called the customer service number listed on the order. Since I placed the order through my passport account, I am told they can't help me, I need to be transferred to 1-800-Flowers.com. I waited on hold for 90 min before I elected the option to receive a callback. I never received a return call.
I called the next morning and spoke with a very apologetic customer service agent who said he was personally extending his apologies on behalf of the company. It turns out that the only local florist they have contracted in the vicinity of Grafton, MA (a suburb between both Worcester, MA and Boston, MA) notified them on 8/3 that they didn't have one of the flowers required for the arrangement. NO ONE called me. Not 1-800-Flowers.com or the local florist. I would have taken a comparable arrangement. Instead, I received nothing. My mother was buried without her funeral flowers from my immediate family, ones that I bought were from my father, my brother and I and the grandchildren.
I was issued a full refund, but, in a very difficult time, I had to contact them several times and I can never make up for the fact that my mother was buried without her flowers. I placed the order more than a week before the funeral, a luxury most people don't have. There is no excuse for not having contacted me or subjecting our grieving family to this.

I ordered flowers for my dad's viewing & funeral the next morning. The flowers, the Casket Cover & the Standing Spray were not delivered on time for the viewing at their scheduled time or the day of the viewing. They weren't delivered until the next day. They weren't there for the viewing, They arrived right before the Funeral the next day. They also didn't give me any of my Sympathy Ribbons that I purchased. The Funeral Home has cameras all around it, so as proof that they never tried to deliver them on the correct date or time. The name of the flower shop was Diamond Floral Design but ordered through 1-800-Flowers. If it were for any other occasion besides my dad's Funeral I probably wouldn't have even left a bad review for them. However this is inexcusable & heartbreaking!

I ordered a beautiful arrangement from their website. What the recipient got looked nothing like what was advertised. The ugliest arrangement I've ever seen. So embarrassing. Place an order with this company 1-800-Flowers only to find that their Drivers are Incompetent. Had a delivery order sent to an Outside Mall with free parking in the White Plains Road Area and Story Avenue in The Bronx Area To a Dime Bank Branch and he stated to the company that he made an attempt to Deliver my order but he couldn’t.
How ironic is that this delivery location is a tailor made delivery and he couldn’t deliver my order. Called by phone, they hang up my call attempts. Then I’ve spoken to their virtual chat and made a special request since they already messed up with the delivery to be delivered the next day between the Hours of 9:30am to 10:00am as well as an agent on the chat they too left me hanging talking to myself. I will never order from this company ever again and definitely it will go on my Googles Reviews. Be careful when you order from these Incompetent Company that makes promises but don’t deliver and customer service will give you the runaround.

The frustration and disappointment with this company is unreal. The customer service constantly repeats the same phrases as scripted robots. Twice I have had the same problem. I thought I'd give them a second chance, but the convenience of ordering online is not worth the frustration and time spent responding to calls and emails that my order has a problem. First was a birthday for my elderly mother. Flowers failed to arrive and after 2 days I managed to get them replaced. Second and last chance I ordered sympathy flowers for same day. About an hour later I was called and said they couldn't do it but assured me they'd send it FedEx and get it there next day. I specifically discussed it was a sympathy arrangement and timing were imperative. I was assured it was understood.
At 11:47pm I received an email that there was another problem. The representative said, "We couldn't process in time to get it delivered," but assured me it was scheduled... But for 5 days from now. She said she could see in the notes my comments about the necessity for timely delivery. It took 4 phone calls just today (6 total) and 36 minutes on hold to finally speak to a supervisor. Surprise it was able to be delivered today.
I understand hiccups and mistakes that's why I gave them a second chance. However, it is beyond my comprehension how a company that's product is to deliver flowers for specific occasions thinks it's ok for them to arrive whenever even if it is well beyond the occasion. You can't get your money back, but you can get a coupon for the next time. WHAT....you think there will be a next time. No thanks keep the $20buck! Flower delivery is what the company is, but they can't seem to provide the service they offer. They truly failed to deliver figuratively and literally!

After ordering a plant to be delivered to a celebration of life, we found out the plant could not be sent on the day of the service so we canceled and ordered something else. It was not delivered either. Needless to say we were very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed. We requested a refund and was told it would take 10 business days to get the refund. Of course they took my money within minutes of my order being made.

I ordered a twisted bamboo plant for a friend who just opened a new office. I thought this was very professional looking, low maintenance and not something that would take up much space. When the plant arrived, the box was opened and was full of ants. How disgusting and horrifying. Of course the recipient quickly closed up the box and discarded it. The ants could have infected the entire office. As the sender of this gift, I was shocked and embarrassed that this is what was sent.
While the recipient called 1-800 Flowers to let them know about this disaster and that she definitely did not want a replacement plant from them, 1-800 Flowers never contacted me to let me know about this situation. They did start a refund, but that was not enough to remedy what occurred. I will certainly never be ordering from them again.

Paid for a service I did not get. Poor customer service, all they do is say sorry but they do not understand that when you pay for a delivery date and that does not happen, it's fraud. I asked to speak to the manager, but she was not helpful. Would caution anyone from using this company, they do not care.

Ordered Flowers for a family Funeral 5 days in advance of Funeral Services, and received confirmation from 1-800-Flowers.com of our order. Went to our family's funeral only to find they were never delivered! Frantically called them from the funeral home trying to find out what happened after a long wait/delay from their customer service people who barely spoke English that their florist never delivered because they don't open in morning until 11AM and the service started at 10AM!! They had 5 days advance notice and I never received any phone call on my cell or email which they had. There was a problem in getting flowers there for 10AM service!! They sent me a confirmation of the order and charged my credit card the day I ordered the flowers online!! So embarrassing to our family. Will never use them again and suggest no one trust or count on 1-800-flowers for ANY flowers to be sent to your loved ones...

Ordered flowers on 5/7/23 for a family member. After sending in the order, the same day I received 4 phone calls with various issues. Couldn't deliver that day, florist didn't have correct flowers, sent order to another florist, new florist was out of delivery range.

Ordered flowers for myself for my birthday. Never received them. Original price is 46.33. Total 87.70. Filed two claims with my bank to get my money back. 1-800-Flowers.com has the balls to give me 2. One 800 flowers only credited me 21.99. Now we’re filing the two claims. I was denied by one 800 flowers still claiming that I received them never ddid, leaving me in the negative. I suggest people should just go to their regular florists and have the arrangements done. One 800 flowers does not own up to what they do and I’m not the only one that they’ve done this to denying a claim from the banks. Never again.

Flowers were not delivered on date of promise. Company gives excuses.. "attempted to deliver" twice for me when there were people at home both times. Would not recommend this service if you want Flowers delivered. Website does not work for checking deliveries and the chat function only answers specific queries.

Two months ago, I ordered flowers for the advertised "Same Day Delivery". They were not delivered. I contacted a customer service representative who supposedly addressed the issue. The flowers were still not delivered the next day. They were delivered two days later. I gave it another try and two days ago, ordered a cake for a friend's birthday, to be delivered to her at work. I made sure to note that this was not a residence. Well, the deliverer tried to deliver the cake at 8 PM after our office was closed. It is now 11 AM the next day, and still no delivery. When calling 1-800-FLOWERS, they have NO CONTROL over these issues because delivery is farmed out to third parties. They simply review notes and leave notes. There is no direct telephone call or way to communicate with the actual company in charge of the product and delivery. I will never use this company again.

Ordered flowers for my sister who recently learned her cancer returned. The arrangement was ordered on a Monday and was due to be delivered Tuesday before 8 pm. Nothing was delivered. Nobody contacted me to say there was a problem and I tried online chatting with an agent and the system kept me waiting longer than I care to admit. I finally got an agent and explained the situation...I was told the driver was in an accident and the arrangement would be delivered Wednesday.
Contacted online agent again Wednesday morning to confirm the delivery and was told all the local florists were tied up and the trucks already out with deliveries so my order would not be delivered today. WHAT?!! How can orders not delivered Tuesday receive no priority for delivery Wednesday???? THEN I was offered a $20 coupon for my next order and when I asked when delivery of my order would be, the agent kept repeating that the local florists were tied up and all the trucks already were out with deliveries. This went on for a while and finally I said, I know this, just tell me when you can deliver my arrangement...I was then offered a 50% refund and told my order would never be delivered. Ridiculous doesn't even describe this...
I demanded a full refund which they said will take 10 days to do oh and they still are sending the $20 coupon. I guess I should be glad these flowers were not for a specific event like a wedding or funeral because I would obviously be out of luck. Need to find another way to send flowers to my sister because 800 Flowers truly is a poor service.

I ordered two different orders separate for Mother's Day from 1-800 Flowers. The first being a dozen of chocolate covered strawberries for my mother for mothers day. The strawberries barely had chocolate. it was all broke up. Second order I paid extra to have delivered on mother's day... They contacted me at 8pm stating my order would not be delivered until 05/16/23, very unacceptable. I paid extra for expedited shipping. After complaining they only wanted to offer me a $20 coupon. I will never use them again. Two mothers had their day ruined.

I ordered Mother's Day flowers 3 days early for my aunt. The order was never delivered and it took 4 customer service attempts to finally receive a full refund. I'll use local florists directly in the future. So disappointed. Customer service agents promised and didn't follow through, and actually disconnected me and stopped helping me. The last one, finally processed a full refund. Or said they would. I guess I'll know in a day or two. If not, I'll be dealing with them again.

I place my order for mothers day on 4/29/23 with a delivery date of 05/11/23. At 630pm on 5/11/23 I reached out to find out why my order had not been delivered to which I was told they "tried to call me" but did not leave any sort of message. My order could not be filled. A replacement order was place and guaranteed to be delivered on 05/12/23. So I call them first thing in the morning to make sure it's on track only to be told it's not being delivered until 05/16/23. Liars work for this company and just screw up everything they touch.

We ordered flowers for someone who had just had a baby and it said if we ordered within the next two hours they would be delivered on the same day. We paid $120 by the end of it and selected a large bouquet as they gave us a choice of small, medium large or extra large. The flowers and balloons we ordered were confirmed as not delivered until the following day around 11 am. The person we sent them to sent us a photo and it was NOTHING like we ordered and it was a very small bouquet. It was EMBARRASSING! It looked like a few gardens flowers and weeds.
The balloons were also not what we selected. To pay $120 for some flowers and 2 balloons and to not get something nice looking is beyond unacceptable. I called their customer service and the rep sat quiet most of the time and so much that I wasn’t sure at times if she was still on the call. I asked her why she isn’t saying anything or giving me answers and she said she doesn’t know what to say. I asked for a manager and she said she couldn’t that they aren’t allowed to pass a call on. I asked for a refund and she said she couldn’t. Unreal. I would absolutely never recommend them. Ever.

Save your money, this company sucks. Received a gardenia plant the best one at 80.00 couple bucks as a gift from our daughter, after about a week the leaves started wilting. Called their customer service. They said they would replace it which they did. Received a 2nd one, same thing after a week, leaves started wilting. Got with their robot, they said they would call. Never did. POOR POOR company.

Don’t waste your time! I placed an online order with 1-800-Flowers for my niece who had just had a baby. The order was placed online 4-30-23. I paid extra to have the next day delivery 5-1-23. I inquired about delivery confirmation via online 5pm eastern- message was sent that the order was out for delivery and would arrive before 8 PM Eastern. Obviously a computer generated message. At 8:15 PM. I again inquired online asking for a delivery confirmation. A response was given that the recipient was not available to take the delivery and an attempt to deliver would be made tomorrow. 5-2-23.
This delivery was supposed to go to Atrium, Health Wake Forest Baptist, the birth center. Not only is Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, huge and well known, there is also no way that the recipient could not have been available. This is the birth center and no one is allowed up on those floors, all deliveries are to be left at the main desk.

The past week I bought a Bonsai for my daughter´s birthday in 1800flowers.com and I requested to deliver it in NY where she lives with other people. 1800flowers didn’t even put the birthday note I wrote for her on the website, so they received the bonsai in the house, but she never knew who sent the bonsai or if it was for her or someone else in the house. That is a horrible mistake, especially if you are a company that brings details and joy from other people to those who we care about. I am so disappointed of your service. 1800flowers does not care about details or service, only about selling products to make money.

Never again. And they won't disclose the local florist they ran the order thru. Ordered 2 of the same. They didn't have card choice, so they delivered 1 without any card, ran out of flowers, kept saying the 2nd arrangement AND card would be delivered "that day" for 3-4 days; no delivery. I called so many times, finally cancelled 2nd half of order. I hope the half refund actually posts.

We received a flower arrangement on Saturday that was ordered through 1-800-Flowers as a condolence gesture because of a death in our family. Unfortunately, some of the flowers were wilted, the roses had dried up leaves on the stems and three of the white lilies were brown on their petals and had that end-of-life lily smell. I went online to 1-800-flowers to request a replacement. The chat robot could not help me and referred me to a "live"(?) rep. The rep asked me for the same order information that the robot had requested, which I supplied: Order # from florist tag, sender name and phone, recipient name. She claimed to not be able to find the order and asked me several times for the same information. I suggested she contact the florist for the order information whose name, address and phone number I provided.
My request was ignored. Between the chat person's responses I called the Customer Service number. I had the very same run-around conversation about order info with the person on the phone, who eventually said he would call the florist and call me back shortly with the results of a solution. Then the online rep said there was nothing she could do and ended the chat. I was instantly provided with a survey to rate my customer service experience. This is not a very positive way to treat people if you want them to be future customers. It's now been two hours and there has been no callback from the 1-800-flower Customer Service rep. In the meantime, I contacted the florist. She insisted that she would replace the arrangement on Monday. I don't see a need to use this company or any of its affiliates for future purchases.

A friend was hit by a truck and had to have emergency surgery in the hospital on Saturday night. I put in an order on Sunday morning, before the 11 o'clock deadline to be delivered the same day. The order was accepted online and scheduled for delivery between 3 and 6 pm, according to the website. An hour and a half later, I get a call from someone who barely spoke english, explaining to me that 1. the bouquet I ordered was not available and they would substitute something else and 2. not only could they not deliver the same day, the order wouldn't arrive until Tuesday. Now it was too late in the day to order anything else from anywhere for same day delivery. I said I wanted to cancel the order, but even that was too tough for them to handle, so they made me several other offers for different things until I got fed up and shouted into the phone to cancel the order.

Horrible company. I ordered the two dozen roses for my wife for Valentine's Day 2023 and the flowers started to droop the next day and yes we have had many flowers before and know how to care for them. These flowers were crap and of low quality. I should know better as I have had many problems with this company before in addition to poor quality, poor customer service that just provides lies and does not follow up. For example, I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday for March 2023. Being a passport member that I paid for in November 2022 for a full year, I get free shipping (which I have had no problems until this oder). I tried at least 10 or more separate times to order these flowers with my free shipped but it did not occur (yes I put in my correct username/password).
Finally I asked for on-line assistance through I-800-Flowers while trying to order and they said they would manually provide me the free shipping I was entitled to as they also would not solve the problem. While on-line, I provided them the confirmed order #, as well as all the numerous details they requested. It has been over two weeks and I have received no credit. They are bait and switch company with poor quality and that is it - I have had enough. I have given them much business through their 1-800-Flowers, Harry & David and The Popcorn Factory - but no more- you have lost a customer and I guess you could care less.

Asking them about the two dozen roses is being delayed and afraid it might not be good anymore. And she/he just respond have a nice day and ended the conversation. It is rude. It's not like you are giving out free roses. I paid a total of $68 for these roses.

I am not using 1-1800 Flowers ever again. Here's why: I called to place an order of roses for my wife of 25 years on 03 February. I asked for a delivery date of 14 February 2023 - Valentine's Day. This order was to be sent to HER SCHOOL that she teaches at and I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to them that the school hours were from 0800-1530. They did not deliver the flowers to her school until 1730 (530 PM) that day - several hours after the school closed. This was AFTER I had consulted with their main office and reminded them of my wife's school hours. The gentleman I spoke with was kind and ensured me that the flowers would make it to the school on time and guaranteed a time of between 1130 - 330PM, Valentine's Day 2023. He was wrong - or perhaps the delivery driver had other plans. Her flowers did not make it to the school until the NEXT day, 15Febuary2023, in the late afternoon.
After speaking with their customer service the lady I spoke with could not offer a reason for the delay but did offer me a waiver of the shipping costs. I told her about a PREVIOUS order I had with 1-800 Flowers several years ago on Valentine's Day and how THAT order arrived on time. I asked them why was there such confusion about THIS order? She could not tell me. I don't blame HER for this issue but perhaps lack of communication with the delivery driver? Or poor planning from 1-800 Flowers for the OBVIOUS amount of extra orders on Valentine's Day? In any event I won't be using 1-800-Flowers again. They've lost my trust.
