    The absolute worse! As a florist, I know what they do....as a recent member that took me over a year to be rid of them.....absolutely NO florist support system!! They basically steal from the local florist and you!! They are not a florist!! They are a "flower order gatherer" that may have a few shops of their own all over!! Don't become a member if you are a florist, highly NOT recommended if YOU want to make money for your business....and DON"T shop on their site! Find a real florist in your area and be SMART and SHOP local, you will save yourself some money and help to save all the family owned REAL FLORISTS! PS: As a florist; when you want to cancel your membership after you realize what they really are and trust me YOU WILL - they take forever to release you and also charge you $100 for absolutely NO LEGITIMATE REASON!! RUN FLORIST RUN AND CONSUMERS, BE SMART, MOVE ON TO A REAL LOCAL FLORIST!

    I ordered roses for Valentine's Day and they told me that they would be there the Tuesday before and Valentine's Day was on Friday. They didn't arrive until Valentine's Day and that was fine except the flowers were dead when they arrived. I called customer service and said they would replace them but it wouldn't arrive until the following Tuesday which was a problem. I needed them at least by the next day but I agreed. The flowers did not show up until that Friday. Dead again and the container was a wreck. The first picture is what I got the second time and the second picture was what I ordered. Do not use these guys because they never get it right.

    Received 2 dozen roses. I received them, at delivery immediately opened to multiple just stems, petals already off cut, cared, took leaves off, maintained, the rest roses never opened, drooped on stems, absolute worst flowers ever.

    My friend has been very ill in the hospital and I wanted to do something nice for her and send her a pretty plant with a little bit of flowers. This plant came. It looked like it was half dead. There were no flowers and I’m very disappointed in it and the amount of money they charge was ridiculous. Don’t use one 1800 Flowers if you’re wise.

    I called because the flowers I received were frozen solid because delivery was left outside on a day in February and temp here was 3 degrees. Call service agent set up replace bouquet which arrived a day late and was again left outside. Both days we were home - both days cars were in driveway to indicate someone was probably at home - call center was made aware that problem was flowers were left outside to freeze. This florist is despicable and enjoys wasting customers money.

    I just received a floral arrangement from a family member. Upon opening the box, it was evident that the flowers were frozen and dead. Any attempts to contact the operation regarding my issue were a moot point given that I was dealing with some computer on the other end that could not correct nor resolve my problem. This is not the first time I have had an issue with this operation. I personally would never order a product from them but as the recipient of the floral arrangement, I had no control over where the flowers were being ordered from. Be aware!

    I ordered a white hydrangea plant which in the photo on the website was in full bloom. I know that plants often do not come in full bloom on arrival but they really should not come frozen and dead. I retrieved the box immediately from my front porch so it would not sit out in the cold. Apparently the dead plant was damaged in transit. As has become the custom with most companies these days, there is no phone number or email for customer service. There is a "chat" which does not work because it is an Ai chat and cannot respond to actual customer concerns. I have messaged and emailed the company and heard nothing back. $82 down the drain. I order flowers frequently and you can be sure I will never deal with these folks again.

    I ordered roses on the 14th of February and they said it would be delivered on the 18th no later than 8pm. That date and time came and went. I called them for a refund and will take up to 3 days to credit my card. They ruined the occasion I had planned. They were apologetic for themselves and their affiliated florist partner. I told them apologies not accepted. Beware of 1800flowers. They should be call 1800foulers. Never again will I order from them.

    Our daughter moved to Colorado from NJ and my husband wanted to send her a fruit bouquet for Valentine’s Day I placed the order 2/6/25 to be delivered 2/12/25, I figured they would be super busy so I would have it delivered to her job a couple days early. I was tracking the order, called several times and was assured it would be there before 4. The order did not arrive, I called again and they said 4:30, still didn’t arrive. She waited until 5:30, as I am margining with them on the phone, and they tell me their policy is they deliver to businesses until 6. I again told them when I placed the order and when I called I was assured they could deliver it by 4. They finally deliver it on 2/12 but didn’t deliver it to my daughter since she was gone and her office was closed.

    I called again, they tell me they will send out a replacement 2/13 which I agreed to but told them I needed it to be delivered by 3:30 and again they assured me it would be there and again the same thing happened. I had a conversation through text and over the phone and was fed nothing but empty promises. I call again and spent 45 minutes on the phone with an agent that is going to send out a replacement on Friday which never happened because they had nothing available but not to worry I would get a refund! Never again!!!

    My boyfriend, Thomas **, placed an order of 2 dozen roses and a box of chocolates on February 12th Wednesday for Friday the 14th Valentine’s Day. He wanted to make sure I received them. The flowers were supposed to be delivered to my job which is a school, Myrtle Beach Elementary school. The delivery was scheduled for 4pm. School is done by 3:30. I waited in the lobby and then in my car which I parked right at the main entrance. I was there until 5:30. The school was closed. The delivery never came. My boyfriend called to see what the issue was and they had no explanation. They just told him they would deliver them on Saturday the 15th. Well they were still not delivered. I finally called and they still couldn’t explain what the problem was. Then I was told that they would be delivered on Tuesday February 18th.

    When I received them they weren’t in a vase just the delivery box. I didn’t have a vase so I had to put them in a drinking canister. The roses were small in size not the regular size roses that I have received in the past. My boyfriend just wanted to do something nice for me on Valentine’s Day especially because we live in different states. I live in South Carolina and he lives in Pennsylvania. He wanted me to know that he loves and misses me and it was ruined. It really made me upset.

    I ordered flowers a day ahead of Valentine’s Day and it was for someone special. I waited the whole day. I got my confirmation and then they never gave me a window when I was gonna be delivered. No call no email and then I’m got an email after their delivery times and it says, "Due to inclement weather, we can't deliver your flowers" and the crazy part is it was 40° outside and sunny with no problems so I was lie number1.

    I out to customer service, one representative said that it would be there the next out again and the second rep said that my flowers sold out and I was confused because how could something sell out if I already bought it. Crazy - right, not only that I talked to a third rep the same day and they assured me it would be delivered the next day. So the next day comes, I get no email again so I go out and buy a whole thing of flowers because I’m assuming these are not gonna come on time that already spent $100 plus for which is crazy to begin with and then I get home and the flowers that not the ones pictured, no one called. It was just outside my door.

    They didn’t handle it like they said they would. I even gave them my number to call just to make sure they my number twice even though I know I gave number to begin with and the vases on the crown flowers flowing out and half the flowers I received were dead. Unbelievable. Will never recommend this company to anyone like a communication and they give you the runaround. Do not shop here. Just go to the store and get it yourself.

    Ordered flowers and they confirmed delivery by email a few days later. Flowers did not arrive. Complained and they sent another bouquet. Arrived two days later completely wilted. Just awful quality. Complained via their chat bot and they eventually said they’d offer a refund. Then went back on their word and said their system was down and they couldn’t refund me. Genuinely worst customer experience I think I’ve ever had.

    EMBARRASSING, would be the best way to describe my experience with 1-800flowers.com. The ordering process was simple, the prices were reasonable and the delivery was on time. The product however, was below any acceptable level. My wife and I each own and operate our own small business. Needless to say we do not have a lot of free time between 8 AM and 5 PM. The local flower shop I normally use recently closed due to economic hardships. Which is a shame because they were excellent at their job. I had seen the commercials for 1-800flowers.com and decided to use their services for a Valentine floral delivery.

    What arrived at my wife's business was pitiful, lacking, and embarrassing for my wife. I ordered a bouquet of Tulips (her favorite) in a red vase and a card with an endearing message from me. There were a dozen or so un-bloomed Tulips. Soo... green stems and leaves. Also a small typed message on what looks like a sheet from a company note pad. My wife un-boxed the delivery in front of her office staff with expectations of a gorgeous floral arrangement similar to what she has received in the past. This was not the case. Instead there was embarrassment.

    Normally my wife would proudly display the flowers on the receiving desk at her place of business. Not this time. Embarrassed, she put the whole mess back in the box and promptly took it out to her vehicle. When I came home that evening and saw what had been delivered I quickly began to apologize. Embarrassed and upset does not begin to describe my emotions. Had this egregious failure been done by employee on a project, they would be terminated. It was completely visible as to what was about to be shipped and believed to be acceptable.

    The flowers were soon replaced with a couple bouquets from the closest grocery store. Which were less than a quarter of the price and 100%++ better than what was received from 1-800flowers.com. This was the single worst floral delivery I have have ever seen or experienced in my 60+ years of existence. This is the first and the last time I use nor will I ever recommend 1-800flowers.com.

    I am writing to express my utter disappointment with the service I received from your company. My husband ordered flowers for early Valentine's Day delivery on February 13, 2025, but the order never arrived, and we weren’t contacted about any issues. After he reached out to your customer service, he was told the order would be “supplemented” and delivered on February 17, 2025. What arrived, however, was nothing short of embarrassing. The bouquet, which was meant to feature tulips and irises, was a complete letdown. The tulips were small, wilted, and unopened. The irises were closed and not visible. It was clear that the flowers were of extremely poor quality and didn’t even fill the giant vase that came with them. The $5 worth of flowers sent were not worth the amount of money paid.

    For entertainment purposes, the bouquet was placed on display in the front window, next to the 1-800-Flowers box, and the price was written on the box, where anyone walking by could see what a disappointing and overpriced product we received. This was not only embarrassing for your company but also incredibly frustrating for my husband. If you truly want to show someone you care, I strongly advise against ordering from this company. My husband spent his hard-earned money for a gesture that turned into a complete disaster. This has been a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I will be sharing this experience with others, and I hope you take this feedback seriously to avoid similar issues in the future. As you can see from my photographs of what I received and what they advertise... Maybe we need laws to protect buyers from these internet cheats. Good luck if you order from this company.

    Ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers on the morning of Valentine’s Day, expecting delivery to my workplace so I could bring them to my wife. I waited for hours with no update. When I finally called to check on my order, I was told it had been canceled **hours ago**—without any email, call, or notification. They casually mentioned they could ship them the next day, which made no sense for a Valentine’s Day gift. If I hadn’t reached out, I doubt I would have ever been informed. Thankfully, I was able to find a local florist at the last minute, but this experience completely ruined my day. I will **never** order from them again.

    I placed an order on the 8th. You guys called me days later to tell me Valentine's day, the 14th was no longer an option. You changed the day to the 13th which ruins the experience. You then called me on the 12th to tell me the half dozen strawberries that I purchased was no longer available, the day before delivery!? So I chose a different product reluctantly. You then delivered the Strawberries that you told me weren't available, but the flowers were delayed and set to be delivered on the 17th!?? I also included a personalized card for valentine's day with valentine items and your rep set up the order with a birthday card!!! Also the strawberries were delivered but were supposed to be unavailable. They were delivered with the Birthday card! The flowers arriving 3 days after the occasion was pointless. I cancelled them. You didn't do anything right. I'll never use this company again. I will go out of my way to tell anybody about my experience.

    Order was placed on January 28, so by no means last minute to be delivered on February 14th... Valentine's Day since around 500 AD. On February 14th at 1:15 pm The status was updated with a note that stated "Delivery Attempted. Will Redeliver." It is now February 15th, not Valentine's Day no flowers. The Customer "support agents" are completely devoid of emotional empathy. The first two all but said "wait and see" after stating the florist had been "messaged" but offer no guarantee or further assurance the arrangement will make it by 1-800 so called 9am-8pm delivery window.

    The third "customer support agent" Andrea has been as equally unsympathetic and completely devoid of empathy at 7pm has now offered an insulting $15 account credit, try that they might as well figure out a way to keep it or send to someone else, and to deliver it at the "next earliest available time"... "for no additional cost." Oh, thank you very much. Sorry that doesn't "resolve the situation" and offers an insulting resolution.

    Awful company. Paid extra to have flowers delivered to Colorado on Valentines day and product was shipped from Texas by GROUND the day prior by FedEx with delivery scheduled for the following Monday (three days later). They made several attempts to remedy the situation none of which were remotely acceptable (such as sending fewer flowers from a local distributor in Colorado). As the recipient had terminated her lease and was moving, the flowers and card will be delivered to an empty house. I don't want an apology, I don't want a refund. I pray that these people go bankrupt!

    I received flowers as a gift for them to deliver them to our AMAZON room, which is heated like a sauna, went down and got them out a day later. It was a surprise. Didn’t know they were there. Now I’m trying to get a refund and they won’t refund me Because my fiancé was not on the other end the phone to have the refund process. But when he’s able to talk, I will call back and I will get that refund process and I do not want another bouquet of roses. They all fell apart as soon as I took them out of the box. None of them was on the stem. They should have been delivered to my door, not the mail room and closed.

    Avoid at all cost! I purchased a personalized arrangement two weeks ago to be delivered at my partner’s job for Valentine’s Day. Item never arrived. I’ve contacted customer service about 15 times. I’ve been hung up on the phone. Now they’re trying to say it was delivered. It was never delivered as I stayed at my partner’s job beyond the time they closed. It’s been a huge headache. First and last time.

    Placed 2 orders. One was delivered but the flowers didn’t look anything like the picture advertised. The 2nd order didn’t make it. The driver didn’t deliver to an apartment. No notification or email that it was undelivered. Scrambled today on the phone & chat to be told the order was in transit & delivered today 2/15/25 by 8pm. This was an order for 2/13/25. If not delivered I expect ta full refund. Never ordering again. One and done. Very disappointing.

    I used to use 1800FLOWERS to order birthday flowers every year for my sister, sometimes with an addon treat like chocolates, ever since I moved out of state. I don't know why it went downhill in the past two years but I will never touch this company again. A year ago, my flower order was delivered but the chocolates I was charged for never arrived. Embarrassing because I mentioned the chocolates in the gift message. I was able to get a refund for the chocolates but the refund didn't include sales tax. I said I wanted the sales tax refunded too and they couldn't do it, even though the sales tax charged was clearly visible on the order. I received an additional credit instead, so I left myself a reminder to use it the following year. Well, during the past year, my sister's oldest and first dog passed away. And I was also grieving the loss of my cat, my best friend who I recently lost to cancer.

    For this recent gift, I chose the Party Pooch package, a bouquet with the centerpiece being a little puppy made from white carnations - the January birth month flower. We were both grieving and I wanted to do something special for my sister. Perfect flower choice, but it was not to be. I got a phone call a few days later from someone I could not understand, saying something about there isn't enough of the right kind of flowers. You mean to tell me in all of metro Detroit there are not enough white carnations to make a little dog?! Not my problem, call another florist. I told them in no uncertain terms there had better be a puppy and it had better be made out of carnations. I was given a reference number. Less than an hour later I got another call but I was in a meeting and couldn't take the call. The voicemail said nothing other than to just call them back.

    The next time I spoke with someone from customer service, they were telling me it was the chocolates that were not available. I asked what about the flowers, and they said they could find nothing in my order or notes about any problem with the flowers. I was suspicious but okay. We went through all sorts of alternative chocolates and were able to find a substitute chocolate package. The person said something about it will arrive by the 4th. I said no, I placed the order and paid to have it delivered ON the 4th, not BY the 4th. It's a birthday present for crying out loud. The 4th is the day, and it's the day I chose on their calendar, which by the way has a different service charge for each calendar day to choose from. I continued to call back and ask for confirmation on the flowers and on the chocolates. I must have spoken to a half dozen people at different times.

    No one could ever find any problem regarding the flowers, so I chalked it up to a miscommunication. The only problem anyone could see was the original chocolates being unavailable, and every time we were able to confirm that my substitute order was fine. Also, I wrote the note mentioning the chocolates so that the message would arrive with the flowers. Well, the chocolates arrived separately on the 3rd and flowers hadn't arrived yet. I ordered it to be delivered on the 4th and I even verbally told someone that the 4th is the day I want it delivered. Not the deadline, the actual day. I almost let it go because at least something got delivered. Then on the 4th, my sister sends me a thank you text with a photo of the flowers when she received them. The arrangement contained everything BUT the carnation puppy. I was livid.

    I showed her the picture of what I actually ordered and even she agreed the puppy arrangement was the significant part of the whole order. This time I went to online chat with my issue because I was so tired of all of the phone conversations that somehow failed to secure the integrity and intention of my gift order anyway. The person in chat didn't want to refund since something was delivered. Then they only wanted to do a partial credit. I said refund, not credit, because my order was wrong two years in a row and I would not be purchasing again ever. I said full refund, not partial. Think of it this way, what if you took someone to a fancy steakhouse for dinner, they ordered their favorite cut of steak, and when order was served, all that was on their plate was some asparagus and mashed potatoes?

    This was unacceptable on so many levels between the lousy customer service, the issue of the missing carnations being brought up and then never spoken of again with no effort to correct it, the chocolates the site offered IN THE CHOSEN ZIP CODE still being unavailable, the substitute chocolates arriving ON THE WRONG DAY, and the flower arrangement still being incomplete despite my numerous phone calls in which I repeatedly asked every single person using at least two different reference numbers and no one could find a word about the problem. To say this was more trouble than it was worth is an understatement. For every following year I will be placing my gift orders elsewhere. I may even seek out this company's biggest competitors and give my business to them on principle. Beware this broken and dysfunctional excuse for an online retailer.

    Order flowers for Valentine's Day. Received email that order was processed and proceeding. Never received order. Took hours and 2 different days to get money back. Customer service phonecall was over an hour wait and the "chat" customer service never even came back online. Horrible company will take orders just fine but they do not care if they can complete your order, or even let you know what's going on. It was 10 minutes before their delivery time was up (8pm) but made me call back "because they still have 10 minutes" and then did not respond when I contacted them 10 minutes later (after 8pm). Had to reconnect the next day to get a refund after 45 more minutes with customer service. Do not use this company!

    I got roses and chocolate strawberries delivered yesterday. I was home but they never knocked and I found out over an hour later when I opened my door. The roses look like they were thrown into the jar with all the greens in the bottom looking horrible to where I can’t even post photos for my friends to see.     This florist sends flowers and glassware be FedEx! Think about that. The flowers have no water during delivery and the recipient has to assemble the product before they can enjoy it. Also, FedEx usually delivers late (after 5 p.m.) so if you want this delivered to a business, you better send it the day before. My wife is in tears because the order never arrived before she left for the day, and I'm going to have to drive to her work in the morning to pick up the package that failed to deliver on time.

    I would recommend using a local florist to where you’d like your flowers delivered. 1-800 Flowers outsources their deliveries and it leaves it up to larger scale factors. I ordered flowers to be delivered on 2/13, to be at my girlfriend’s office by morning of Friday, 2/14. There was a FedEx delay due to “weather” and they are scheduled to arrive end of day 2/14 a day late. Go local.

    Order received yesterday with two problems. Quality was poor, one bud just fell off when unpacked. Arrangement had no filler foliage such as fern or baby's breath.     I just placed an order for flowers a day before I need it and there is no message or note that is available for you to put the time that it needs to be delivered especially it is to be delivered in a business address that closes after a certain business hours. When they cannot guarantee that it will arrive before the business place closes, I tried to cancel it but they said it cannot be cancelled anymore. Do not purchase anything from this place unless you want to stress yourself out. I opened a chat in order to ask for assistance and the lady by the name of Christine, just left the conversation after telling me that the order will be delivered the following day between the hours of 9am to 8pm, but the business where they will deliver it closes at 4pm.

    I have been with 1-800-flowers for well over 15 years and have slowly but surely seen this companies decline!!!! Once again, another disappointing order!!!! I called the florist to complain about an order placed for my granddaughter's 16th birthday and the gentleman that answered the phone was extremely rude, talked over me, refused to take any responsibility for the order and kept repeating himself over and over "call 1-800-flowers"!!!

    The order was supposed to be flowers in the shape of a dog, with a flower as a bow on the top of the head and butterfly wings surrounded by several other carnations and mixed flowers. Not only did it not look like a dog, but the flowers were also absolutely horrific!!!     Do not order from this company! They messed up two funeral arrangements that I've ordered within the past year. The first one looked nothing like the picture. I spent $150 And definitely expected it to look like the picture for that cost. The second arrangement was supposed to be delivered at 8:00 a.m. to the church and instead was not even shipped until 1:43 p.m.! The funeral is done! There's no fixing this. I was on the phone with a representative from 1-800 Flowers and they made sure to put in the notes that it had to be delivered at 8:00 a.m.. They told me they even called the florist that was being used and was guaranteed that it would be delivered at that time before the funeral began at 8:30. So it's not like I made a mistake online.     These guys are a complete fail. I ordered a spray for a funeral service I couldn't attend. No one who attended the service mentioned it and I just assumed a place like this would follow through. The funeral was at 4PM, and at 2PM I got a call from 1-800-Flowers customer service to confirm the address of the funeral home. They never delivered it! About a week and a half later I get a call telling me the delivery never happened and asking me where to send the flowers! She's dead man. What are you going to do, dig her up and have another service?

    To add insult to injury all of their customer service people I spoke with had such thick accents they were barely understandable, so don't expect to clear things up by phone. While I'm not crazy about losing the $150 or so I spent with 1-800-Fowers, the embarrassment of appearing to not show my respects to a friend of 40 years really bothers me.

    Under no circumstances would I ever do business with these jokers again. Take my advice, if you need to send flowers somewhere just find a local florist and order through them. I'd give them a negative 5 star rating if I could. Oh, and if anyone from the company reads this, when someone orders flowers for a funeral, it's tacky to add them to a mailing list so they get spammed with e-mails the next day trying to sell flowers for inappropriate occasions like "Love and Romance."

The funeral director said they experience this often from 1800Flowers. She said, "If they tell you it was delivered to the flower room" she said "it's not true 'cause we don't have a flower room." She warned me ahead of time and sure enough that is what I was told. I will never order anything ever again from this company. Terrible experience and embarrassing. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Go to your local florist and place the order yourself and pick what you want without hassle and limitations.

    I ordered flowers for a funeral 2 days before the funeral to be delivered to the funeral home. They never arrived and I was left a message that I was too late for them to deliver. The service started at 11am. They then said they would deliver to the home of the deceased family the next day. They never arrived.     I sent some sympathy flowers (Calla Lily arrangement) to a friend whose mother just passed away. The flowers she received were completely wilted and drooped over. I cannot believe 1-800-Flowers.com would dare send flowers in such poor quality! I would never have known if my friend didn’t send me a picture of the plant. They don’t send the flowers and the flowers they do send you can buy a grocery store for a 10th of the price and they’re dying or dead then you try to call customer service. All you get international people you got it. Dispute the charge with your credit card. It’s a scam. Beware. Do not order. Order direct from the florist.

    If I could give zero stars I would. I have used this company in the past without issue however this time they seemed incapable of sending a simple flower delivery in a timely manner at a time of sympathy. Lost order, no records, nothing delivered and had to start all over. Then again nothing showed up and when I checked, it was set to deliver on the day I specifically said DO NOT deliver. I have spent more than 90 minutes on calls I’ll never get back while having to listen to their annoying messages about how much they care about customer satisfaction etc. The excuse the customer rep gave me is that they are “very busy” - I was not even ordering on a holiday or high volume time of year. I’m on hold now going on 21 minutes as I wait to just cancel. Sadly my friend did not ever receive her flowers to let her know that I was thinking of her during her time of sadness and loss. If you cannot count on a flower business to send sympathy flowers in time then you cannot and should not count on them at all.

    My experience with 1800 Flowers customer service has been horrible. I purchased the passport membership to allow for free shipping. This passport has never been 'registered' to my account according to MANY CS reps, and therefore, I incur shipping charges and am told I have to call in to have the charge removed each time I place an order. This is not ideal and a huge waste of time. I've called / e-mail / messaged SEVERAL times to get this resolved and each time I get someone who tells me the issue is 'being fixed' but it never is. It's infuriating to receive such bad customer service for something that should be a simple fix. Yet another company that takes your $ yet offers no customer service to fix their issues.     I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday. I even paid extra to rush the delivery for next day. The status report I got for delivery was that they attempted to deliver but were unable. No details about what happened. My daughter's apartment has a receptionist to receive deliveries and they didn't get anything. 1800Flowers had my daughter's phone number and she was never called in the attempt to deliver. I spent an hour and twenty minutes on hold trying to get through to their customer service and finally had to disconnect. I must have heard "1800Flowers wants to provide you with exceptional customer service" a hundred times. Talk, talk, talk but it means nothing. I was finally able to get a customer service agent on their online chat and all they could say was "I apologize for the inconvenience".     I ordered 6 balloons to be delivered to a children’s hospital the day of a procedure for a 5 yr old. They never attempted a delivery the first day and were just going to keep my money. I contacted them. If I hadn’t, they would have just done nothing. Instead, They rescheduled for the next day. They had to call my sister when they attempted to deliver for her to come down and get the balloons. I had to confirm this via phone call. They said they tried to deliver but never called my sister.     I placed an order with 1-800 Flowers for my son who is in the hospital alone. I couldn't be with him because I was sick myself at home. I was sent an email stating that delivery was attempted but that my son was not there to receive it. That was a lie. My son never left the hospital room.     Horrible experience! Ordered flowers to be delivered 12/17, Not delivered. They said no one home, I asked if they tried to call recipient with the # I provided, customer service couldn’t answer that. Next day same answer but this time we told them to leave in porch. When asked, "Did you call or leave in porch." Customer service couldn’t answer that. We have been getting all types of emails delivered not delivered, spoke to 2 supervisors one of which hung up on me! Husband talked to manager, she said she would call him back in 30 min. She never called. Finally got someone to rebate the cost, and she promised she would said a different arrangement to the recipient on.

    The 26th (after Christmas!) today is that day still no deliver, we have spent countless hours on the chat which must be AI because I keep getting autogenerated responses in between someone saying they will help.     I ordered my mom's funeral wreaths through a customer service rep 3 weeks in advance. The rep made spelling mistakes on the cards.     I would not recommend 1800flowers to my enemy, that is how terrible of a company they are. They failed to deliver flowers yet again. I asked for a refund which they were unable to provide and would stop talking to me/end communication. My order was marked as delivered, yet, I was home and no such delivery occurred. I spent 2.5 hours trying to resolve the situation, open to a different order, however, they offered me pink and white flowers for Christmas as their solution.

    When I asked for a refund, they stopped communication (either by discontinuing the online chat) and/or did not respond. Additionally, I was told by the first customer service representative that their supervisor would call me in 10-15 minutes later. It has been 2 hours and no such individual ever called. The worst customer service, do not deliver on overpriced flower arrangements. I have been a long time customer but the disrespect received when this order was not delivered, I will not order from them.

    This is a horrible company with horrible customer service. They do not deliver when they say they are going to, they have a special instructions box to give them more specialized instructions for delivery that they ignore and then won't refund your money until the day after they were delivered. I ordered flowers for my daughter's 16th birthday with instructions in the "Special Instructions" box to deliver in the morning. They didn't get delivered. I called and got "oh we are very sorry, can they be delivered tomorrow". I told them no, her birthday is today, I just want my money refunded.     This was truly the worst customer service I have ever received. In a nutshell, I ordered flowers and paid extra for Saturday delivery. They arrived on Tuesday and were dead. I have been arguing for the past 2 days with customer service reps about a full refund. The first one lied and said she issued a full refund, but only refunded $21 for shipping. The second one argued with me for almost an hour and finally said she will do 50% refund. Just unacceptable! I was yelling at the top of my lungs because it just shouldn't be that difficult.     TL;DR: The bad outweighs the good, I've only ordered repeatedly because I keep hoping that I'll eventually get what I initially signed up for. This is me warning you to not start. Details below, screenshots attached. I always buy fresh flowers for my Mother. When I received a promo email (see screenshot) that qualifying purchases through 1800 Flowers website could get me discount reward codes for $0.50/gallon off Shell fuel prices, it seemed like a win-win; I was buying flowers anyway and the prices were reasonable so why not also get gasoline discounts? I even signed up for Celebrations Passport, their special membership thingy, to get free delivery for a year.

    Dealing with this company's customer service has been a nightmare of frustration and disappointment; I regret paying them for that membership subscription. As of this writing (December 17th, 2024), the 1800 Flowers website features an award for Customer Service and I simply can't understand how that's possible without some unsavory activity being involved.

    Because I was already frequently buying flowers anyway - and the promised benefit of the fuel discount is so significant - I made sure to meticulously follow the directions in the promo email every time I ordered. It turned out that didn't matter, because many of the customer service employees at 1800 flowers knew little or nothing about the Shell Fuel Rewards promo.

    After my first order was delivered, I let 5 weeks go by (note that the screenshot says codes will be emailed up to 4 weeks after delivery, not order) then called customer service to inquire after the code. The first CSR has no idea what fuel rewards promo I was referring to, so I was transferred to a supervisor. That person insisted that Shell, not 1800 Flowers, is responsible for sending the discount code. I then called Shell Fuel Rewards customer service, who insisted that the responsibility for sending codes falls on 1800 Flowers. When I called 1800 Flowers back, I eventually got to another CSR who called Shell Fuel Rewards on my behalf and even put in writing that she had confirmed Shell is responsible for sending the codes. This back and forth took hours. It turned out she was wrong - 1800 Flowers is, in fact, responsible. Since that first order, 1800 Flowers reps have transferred me to several supervisors with no tangible results.

    Every CSR call is like starting over because they aren't communicating with each other. No notes are recorded, and the "solutions" offered are empty words. If you look at all the receipts posted, you may wonder why I kept ordering if the customer service is this bad. There are 2 reasons:

    1.) The actual flower delivery is admittedly great. The flowers are always delivered on time, and the arrangements are beautiful. I give credit where it's due, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1.

    2.) I bought the Passport Membership for a year and can't get the money back. I may as well take advantage of the free delivery. Also, since I can't get the money back, I keep making qualifying purchases and holding out that I'll eventually get what I'm owed. One thing is for certain, though: I won't be renewing that membership or continuing to use this company after said membership expires.

    Do yourself a favor by spending money at a local shop. Even if it costs a little more, you'll save headache by being able to address any concerns face to face.

    On December 11, 2024, I made an order for a holiday-themed arrangement for delivery to my mother on December 23. The following day, I received a call from 1-800-Flowers customer service informing me that the local flower shops would be unable to fulfill the order as specified - neither the arrangement nor the delivery day. They offered a $15 credit, a different arrangement (a dozen plain, boring roses), and delivery on December 24. For the simple reason that I had neither the time nor the inclination to fight with the representative who didn't speak clear English, I agreed to the proposal as a backstop so I could have the time to research whether another vendor could do what they say that can do. I found an alternative, and after a little wrangling, 1-800-flowers did grant me a full cancellation and refund. They didn't make it quick, though.

    I had ordered flowers along with a card and stuffed animal to be delivered as a surprise birthday gift to my wife who works as a school teacher. The delivery was confirmed and there was no notification that anything was wrong with the order. I got a phone call from my wife after work hours stating that the florist/delivery person was repeatedly trying to get in touch with her while she was working. I am not sure why they didn't try to call me, you know, the person that placed the order as a surprise. The delivery person was unable to make her delivery to the school on time (again even though order was confirmed).

    They informed her that they would be able to make a drop off at our residence instead of the school at 4:30pm. They stated that they didn't give my contact information to the florist/delivery person that would have resolved most of the issues. Why in the heck would they not give that information to person that is actually responsible for the delivery?!? Bottom line is, if you want to get flowers for a surprise and need it delivered to the correct place at the correct time, do not use this company. Use a local florist.

Looked nothing like it, then afterwards they said they would do right and send my sister a better arrangement and make sure there was a balloon attached because there wasn’t and I paid for it. So now I believed them and expected new arrangements today. So I was happy thinking they were doing the right thing so I gave them a five star rating, so now I get a text saying flowers were delivered and then an email saying it was delivered so I contacted my sister and no flowers were delivered, I contacted 1800 flowers and they are telling me same thing oh they will make this right and tomorrow she will get new one, I’ve never had such bad communication with any flower company, I'm thinking they don’t care, I'll show pictures what I ordered and what she got.

After spending over an hour on the phone, I asked to cancel my order. They said they did. They sent me a confirmation email.     Ordered grieving flowers for my sister and had to pay extra for the delivery, but they didn't get to her house until the end of the day yet were ready at 10am according to the email I received. I paid for a grieving bow but it wasn't added to the flowers, the flowers were dead, wilted and spread out like they forgot to add fillers, these were supposed to make my sister's day a little better but she was only reminded of death by the poor quality of flowers and care. They have raised their prices and lowered their standards. I won't ever recommend or use them again, especially for such an important occasion. Shame on your company, what use to be reputable now offer the same quality as gas station flowers.

    It's been years since I've encountered service as scammy and terrible as this. It is now twelve days after my sister's 40th birthday (the day they promised delivery), multiple rounds of "it's going to be delivered by x" or "it has been delivered" and the flowers were never delivered. Perhaps worse, their rep admitted to me that he could see in my order that THEY HAD NEVER BEEN DELIVERED. And then I still had to ask to get my money back (along with long wait times for the dozen or so calls this involved). Undoubtedly many give up and they just pocket the money.     I ordered flowers and paid 15 dollars for delivery that was suppose to come in 3 days. On the day of delivery all it showed was that it was suppose to be delivered between 10am and 2pm. No updates all day and zero tracking could be seen at this point. At 3pm it changed to delivery will occur by 8pm. 8pm came and went with nothing. I tried to contact them multiple times and they kept saying “next available representative will be here shortly” no one ever responded. I asked for refunds and could never get a hold of anyone. I finally got an update at midnight saying it was out for delivery and would arrive 9am-11am. Still nothing and zero updates again.     If I could give less than one star I would. This company is horrible. On 11/10 I placed an order for a gift box to be delivered on 11/22. The order was delivered 4 days early, on 11/19, which caused issues with the recipient not being home. The gift box was for best wishes after surgery and having it arrive before the recipient was home from the hospital was pretty disheartening. I spoke with customer service who refunded the order and provided me with a $15 savings pass for the inconvenience.

    Approximately 2 weeks later I tried to use the savings pass to place a new order and it states there is a $0 credit available. I have now spoke to 3 customer service representatives trying to sort out the savings pass and none have been able to assist me. They all state that another department must assist and that department is never available. 1800Flowers has lost my business for the future. This is not the first order to be mis-delivered, or inaccurate and I have quickly remembered why I stopped using them years ago.

    Hands down the worst business I've ever experienced. I ordered a funeral arrangement. It was supposed to be a beautiful tribute to a wonderful person right next to the beloved. It never arrived. Not only was a time given as usual for a funeral. But I got an email it can't be delivered. There was no reason other than can not fulfill. (Not even a call) about the fulfill. Service was over. I was so embarrassed that nothing showed up. When I tried to contact about this I was ultimately offered $15 off a future order. How insulting!     I had a special event I was helping a friend/organization and ordered special flowers for it. I received confirmation with email receipt purchasing the flowers 1 month in advance. On the day of supposed arrival, I got nervous as it was approaching end of day and called their helpline only to find out that I would receive no flowers, there would be no replacement delivered on time despite a 1800flowers distribution center a couple miles away from the event. Speaking with the customer representative, 1800Flowers presumably was aware that this special order I made could not be fulfilled or delivered. What is infuriating is that no attempt was made to notify me to alter the order.

    Their attempt to placate their mistake was to provide me a new order of flowers AFTER the event and a $15 coupon. I refused this as their solution was inadequate fix for a spoiled event. All I wanted was my money to be fully refunded. That's all I wanted. I was told by the customer service rep that it would show the next day. When I asked for a confirmation number she refused to provide one.

    Objectively assessing:
    1) Poor customer service.
    2) Poor logistics and inability to deliver without any recourse to fix or appropriately compensate the consumer.

    3) 1800flowers has all but taken my money and not provided a product and has NOT refunded my money. I am asking the community, is this considered theft?

    I placed an order for same day delivery and later that morning received a call from a 1800Flowers rep who told me that they could not delivery the order that day because they could not find a local florist to fulfill it. I requested a cancellation and for the next 10 minutes, the rep did not want to honor my request and kept telling me they could deliver the order the next day, which didn't work for me. The rep finally told me that he had canceled the order and issued a refund. When I logged into my account an hour later to check the status of the cancelation, it showed delivery was attempted and “This Order May No Longer Be Modified”. There was no attempt at delivery. The order did eventually show a canceled, but after 11 days, no refund has been received. After chatting with another rep about the refund, I was told they would email a confirmation showing that the refund was being processed within 24 hours, but 24 hours later, no confirmation has been sent.

    This service is horrendous. We placed an order 6 days before we needed the item. We got a cryptic voicemail the day after we placed the order saying to call to get more information. Nothing more. We sat on hold for 45 minutes with no success. We then turned to the chat feature on the website and were told that the order was fine and there is no apparent reason for the call. “Sometimes we call just to confirm we have everything correct.” Is literally what we were told. The status on the website also said confirmed and gave the planned delivery date.

    Day of delivery, no flowers. We called in and were told “we only have 1 florist in your town and they couldn’t fulfill the order. We tried to call but you wouldn’t answer.” According to the notes the order was cancelled the day after we placed it. She went on to suggest that since we only waited less than an hour it was our fault for not being informed. All this while we are looking at the website which still said the order was confirmed and being delivered today (it was 11PM on the day of expected delivery at this point). So 6 days after placing the order and 5 days after it supposedly being cancelled, and the website AND chat bot was still reporting everything was fine while at the same time the call center is telling a completely different story.

    They claim they sent an email. We searched SPAM and deleted items, nothing. Literally used the Gmail search tool with the keyword flowers. The only thing that came up in any of our folders was the order confirmation email from 6 days prior and a sales email asking us to buy more product from them (not a chance). Please, for the love of things holy, save yourself the nightmare. They have no clue how to operate a mail order business, a call center, or develop a functional website.

    Not to mention, if all your chatbot does is read the website and provides no added value or information, it’s a complete waste of money. I can read the website, what I need is further insight into my order. In the current age of technology and AI there is absolutely no excuse for the garbage 1800flowers calls online customer service tools.

    I ordered a funeral arrangement that was very full and pretty online and described as 42” tall by 28” wide. What was delivered was smaller and skimpier than the image. I was embarrassed among my family and out a considerable amount of money since I paid for something that should have been far more substantial. We received a just barely 30" tall arrangement, and that was to the tip of a leaf, so we really had to stretch to get to 30” tall. It was 18” wide, so it was smaller all around. The same flowers weren’t even used. I will never order through 1-800-Flowers.com again. As a customer, you have no idea which local florist is filling the order and what their design sense is.

    Additionally, it may not be entirely the florist's fault since I’m guessing they create smaller and skimpier designs than shown because they have to give so much of the profits to 1800Flowers. The florist may not make a high enough margin to create the type of fullness and size shown in the arrangements online. Given all I was handling, this was an order of convenience, and it backfired. I will only deal directly with local florists, as I’ve always done.

    If I could give a negative 10 I would. I have never in my life or wildest dreams thought a company could be so incompetent as this one. Not only did they not deliver my order, it is absolutely impossible to get anyone from customer service except a chat box online which is useless.     I discontinued using 1-800-Flowers in the mid-2000s due to poor service and, in my opinion, subpar product quality. The final incident that led to my decision was receiving dead roses on Valentine's Day. While they did rectify the situation by sending replacement roses in time for Easter, the experience left a lasting impression. Recently, following the passing of a close friend's mother, I decided to give 1-800-Flowers another chance, despite my wife's reservations. I ordered a dish garden for delivery on Monday, October 14th, knowing the family would be home for the holiday. I received a confirmation email stating that the delivery would occur on the requested date. However, the dish garden did not arrive as promised.

    When I reached out to inquire, I encountered significant challenges with their customer service. Speaking to a representative was nearly impossible, even through their so-called "live chat." The process was frustratingly slow, and the responses missed the mark entirely. Ultimately, 1-800-Flowers canceled the order (which had already been delivered), offered a replacement product, shipped the new item to me instead of the original recipient, and informed the local florist that I had canceled the order, meaning they would not be paid. To make matters worse, the florist then contacted the recipient to retrieve the dish garden, claiming the sender hadn’t paid for it. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the issue directly with the local florist, and I’ll be giving the recipient the dish garden that 1-800-Flowers is now shipping to me via FedEx from Florida.

    I should have done my research on this company before using them. If I had seen all of the bad reviews and very poor ratings, I would have never used them. While the flowers I ordered were delivered on time, the quality of the flowers delivered to my sick uncle 1,000 miles away were poor. The Peruvian Lilies were supposed to be bright and alive but what was delivered were lifeless. I think the florist must have thought that more greenery would mask the poor quality of the general condition of the lilies. The roses were good but even some of the greenery was limp. I've included what they show on the website and what was delivered. These won't last long and I'm embarrassed by what was sent.

    When I called customer service, I was only offered a new delivery or a 50% refund. I have yet to receive that but it has been too long yet, so maybe that will still come. They should have advertised that for 50% off, we will send you dead flowers. Avoid this company at all costs....there are better companies out there that actually do a good job. This one is not one of those companies.

I have tried to leave negative reviews, and they would never get posted. They also do not disclose the local vendor they used “for the shop's safety”. They need to hold these shops accountable. Because all of the flowers I have received were not acceptable. I purchased $1,000 dollars worth of flowers for a funeral, and they were all a big disappointment. Flowers were smaller than promised. Flower arrangements were cheaply put together. In one of the photos below the arrangement I purchased were supposed to be mainly white roses; and some purple. It’s all purple, little white; and you can see size comparison to the one to the right of it that it is 3x smaller. Accents are important!

    The red heart was promised to be made out of all flowers. Roses, and all flowers. As you can see it was only white roses & the rest was all plastic. There is no amount of money that could make up for the embarrassment I faced when they delivered 13 white roses, and the rest was all plastic for a beloved's funeral. This arrangement cost me $300+. I have also ordered regular rose delivery for family members before from them, and flowers came dead and bruised. If I live in Michigan, why would I want flowers delivered from Ohio? Flowers being delivered in this heat, sitting in a FedEx truck with no central air, of course the flowers are going to be dead. 1800 flowers has failed me multiple times, embarrassed me, and taken away the sincerity I needed to show for multiple funerals. I will never use them again!

    I have used them in the past and had good luck but not this time. When they use a locally sourced flower shop I think the quality is good but for some reason the Lavender Garden Bouquet I ordered for my mother's birthday had to be shipped from NJ which is about 3 hours away. I ordered on Monday morning for a Tuesday delivery which was her Birthday. They arrived at the local FedEx facility at 7 am on Tuesday and were not delivered on her Birthday so they sat overnight in the FedEx Box another night and didn't arrive to her until about 4 pm the day after her birthday.

    I contacted 1800 Flowers on her birthday in the afternoon when I saw the delivery was just sitting at the FedEx location and not out for delivery and they told me they should be delivered by 8 pm. Shortly after that I got a notification saying that there was an issue with FedEx and they wouldn't be delivered until the day after. So I called back later that night and complained about it not showing on the website when I ordered it that the flowers weren't coming from a local shop and they were coming from NJ in a box. If I knew that when I was ordering I would have just called a local flower shop but thought this would be better because I live 7 hours away from her.

    Also the picture they sell you on the website was great but that's just a picture. The flowers looked sad and dehydrated when she got them... Then it's up to her to trim them and put them together.... The reason flowers are expensive and look so good is because of the person putting the bouquet together. So in short... Don't outsource to 1800 FLOWERS... Just call a local flower shop from the beginning and get good flowers and good service instead of what 1800 Flowers has to offer. They offered a refund (which they should have) and then offered a $20 gift card for a future purchase.... I told them to keep the $20 gift card because I will never use them again...

    I ordered flowers for a relative who is in rehab. I received a call the day of my order from someone in customer service, and when I returned the call, the person I spoke with had no idea why I was calling. For days, I checked my order, and it would say "confirmed, delivered by local shop," but it never said when it was delivered and what local shop. A week later, I called and the customer service person explained to me in a very unclear way that they "were having problems with this item so it was unable to be delivered." If I hadn't checked, I would have assumed the flowers were delivered and I'd be wondering why I hadn't heard from my family member.     I was so excited because I noticed that this site does same day delivery and it was my mother's birthday and I wanted to send her flowers. Before checking out, they claim that they can do rush delivery to get the flowers to customer by noon but you have to pay an upfee for it. So I did, only for the flowers to not get there and even though I complained about the very fact that they were not delivered on time, I did not get a refund for the upcharge and that is unfair. Will never use their service again because that is almost like not caring about customer interest when they offer something and do not deliver.

    What I ordered vs. what I received should be considered fraud. I ordered the Contemporary Red Roses-Large - Product Number: 191560L for $119 + $24 for same day shipping; yet, we received 12 white roses in a petite small glass vase— something you’d find prearranged at a local grocery store for maybe $19! Customer service was apathetic; refused to share the florist’s information that filled the order; and would not provide a full refund. The occasion was diminished by this experience and I will not patron nor recommend 1-800–Flowers to anyone.

    Such a huge waste of money! I received a dozen roses and six chocolate covered strawberries. The dozen roses fit in the palm of my hand. The strawberries were rotten with a distinct rotten smell. The chocolate was melted.

    I purchased one dozen multicolored roses for my Sister for her bday. They were delivered on time with updates, fresh and beautiful! When she received them two of the roses had broken stems. I immediately contacted 1-800-flowers and got the animated customer service. I hate not talking to an actual CSR but to my surprise, it all worked out super well! Next day on time my sister received another dozen roses with no extra charge and even another balloon! I was not expecting that at all! Five-star customer service!! I will recommend this service to everyone!! Thank you for helping me put a smile on my sister's face!

    I ordered the "Fields of Europe for Fall" online. It was beautiful. Fall colored mums, orange lilies, an orange rose, sprigs of dry wheat. Very pretty. What I got was a vase of yellow daisies and one sunflower. "Bait and switch" is just totally unacceptable. I understand that sometimes a particular flower is unavailable and they have to substitute. But this wasn't even close. I will also complain to American Express since they advertise them as a Rewards member. Pictures below...they don't lie.

    The ridiculous organization is 1800-Flowers, which does not empower its supervisors to access email or direct extensions to improve the member experience. I can understand that call agents, not even the supervisor, do not have this empowerment. What a joke. I guess they don't care about customer experience. I placed my order on September 11. Their website verified the address, confirmed my order, charged my CC, and sent me the receipt. The next day, I received a call that they could not or could not deliver to the provided address. Wow, if you cannot deliver to a particular address, why not remove such an address from your database and not charge the customer's CC? I am talking about almost $500 in charges. And now, it's been seven days. I have not received any confirmation of my order's cancellation and have not received my refund.

    I ordered flowers for my granddaughter and was told it couldn’t be delivered but would try again later. Long story short the florist didn’t have the container. Lie #1. Told it would be delivered on Monday. Lie #2 as on Monday still didn’t have the container. Only after contacting 1-800-Flowers.com did they give me a true reason for “unable to deliver“. Ended up asking for a refund.

    This was the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I ordered flowers and chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter's birthday WHO lives 3,000 miles away. The flowers were delivered but the strawberries were not. I received no resolution after calling customer service and being on hold for nearly an hour three times. The first time, I was told that they had been delivered, but after investigating and speaking with the driver, I discovered that he had confirmed the wrong delivery. I was told he would return and would communicate with the recipient. He did not.

    The second time I called, I was told that It would be rescheduled for the next day and that I would receive a new order confirmation and a coupon to use with a future order. I received neither. The next day I called and I was told that the address was undeliverable, even though it was the same address used for the flowers and the florist had no problem delivering them. I demanded a refund for the strawberries and was told I would get one but they could not send a confirmation of the refund request or anything to reference the call. It appears that companies are saving on overhead by having customer service employees work remotely. However, there is no longer any service in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will have to make the effort to shop, package, and send my gifts in the future. TRULY DISAPPOINTED!

    I ordered flowers for my mother’s 93 birthday. Order was confirmed but flowers didn’t arrive when promised. I then spent hours with 3 different online agents to see what happened. All 3 had slightly different stories. The most upsetting news was that not only would the flowers NOT arrive as promised but there would be a substitution and not the flowers I paid for.     Save your money. I do not recommend. Estimated window of delivery is all day. Communication with the florist is not available and no accurate tracking available. Customer service is no help. Spent $83 for my co-workers flowers only for her to leave because she was off for the day and no delivery made.

    It's my one year wedding anniversary. I ordered an extra large bouquet of flowers with a giant "I Love You" balloon and a custom card with a picture of us on it. It was delivered. It looks like a small grocery store set up, had the wrong balloon and no card. Just a florist card that always comes with flowers. I was super embarrassed so I reached out to customer service and they sent a replacement. The EXACT same thing was sent. I had to apologize to my husband and showed him what was supposed to be delivered.

    I then called the customer service number only to be told that the florist said they couldn't print a custom card because the printer was down and they didn't have any large "I Love You" balloons. This would have been nice to know before the first delivery. All they would do is refund me half my money on something that I literally could have picked up from Walmart. Never again 1-800-flowers, never ever again! Attached is what I ordered and what I got. Good luck to anyone who uses them.

    I spent hours on the phone with call centers. After 10 days they told me it was delivered 20 minutes before my 4th call and that was untrue. It’s been a terrible experience. I would have love for my nephew who’s in hospice to receive the flowers, balloon and teddy bear but it never happened. They advertise refund in 5-7 business days but 2 reps and one supervisor said it would be 30-45 days. I used to love 1800flowers but they don’t seem to be the company they used to be. Maybe they should check out their contractors better.

    I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a gift basket for my mother-in-law when she was in the hospital. It was not delivered. I called and was told that due to the fruit basket coming from Harry and David (one of 10 companies owned by 1-800FLOWERS), it could arrive up to 30 days later. Wait-WHAT?? I canceled the order as my mother-in-law was getting out of the hospital in a couple of days. But then.... NO REFUND. I paid by PayPal and was told that they take up to 60 days to issue a refund. Well, by that time most people will have forgotten all about it. I spend hours talking with supervisors and finally spoke with the Escalation Dept. at Harry and David, only to be treated disrespectfully and told that I had to wait 60 days for my refund. Outrageously bad customer service. NEVER SHOP HERE!

    We received a beautiful arrangement on the death of our dog. There was a lovely (unsigned) card and we called to find out who we could thank. I called and spoke to a manager who apologized before saying they can't disclose it because it's against your policy. Instead, I had to call three people to see if they'd sent it. They hadn't and said "I'm sorry, I didn't." They felt bad that they didn't think of it and I felt bad asking them. I finally reached the sender and thanked her. However, I felt better BEFORE receiving the flowers than AFTER! Medical information, college grades, sure...but this is a bad policy and I won't be using you again.

    I ordered a sympathy arrangement specifically because the flowers (blue and white) were my friend's favorite colors. When I got to the funeral home, the large arrangement wasn't exactly large, and there were no blue flowers, ribbons, etc. I was disappointed at its look and what I'd spent on it. I also opted for a special condolence card, which I didn't see (perhaps it was given to the family).

    The most important thing is the delivery time, I made the order at or before 11:00 a.m. EST and I received the delivery confirmation after 6 pm in TX time, means the business office I sent to maybe was closed! So basically it took them the whole day to deliver and I already paid their $5 extra in their website to deliver faster! Totally disappointed!!!

    The customer service for this company is horrible. I had an issue with an order that was placed so I spoke to an agent through their online chat. This was approximately 2 minutes after the order was placed. The delivery date was not correct on 2 out of the 3 arrangements. I was told the order was updated and they would all arrive at the same time. I even received an e-mail confirming the change. Apparently, that was not correct because two of the three arrangements arrived 10 days before the event. Customer service was absolutely no help and basically just said "sorry there was a mix-up." I will not be using this company for any flower needs in the future.

Received a text message saying they were delivered… And waited for over an hour to find out that they were not delivered… Then tried to call customer service was on hold and then requested a call back. It’s been six hours still have not gotten a call back… Called over and over and over again and was on hold… Never would I ever order anything from this company again, nor should you.     I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received on a recent order. On July 24, I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my mom, who had just undergone surgery. I paid the extra fee to ensure the flowers would be delivered on that specific date. Unfortunately, the flowers never arrived. I received a call from 1-800-Flowers on the same day, explaining that the delivery could not be made as promised and asking if the flowers could be delivered the next day. Although I was disappointed, I agreed to this arrangement, hoping it would still bring some cheer to my mom.

    To my further disappointment, the flowers did not arrive the following day either. This is entirely unacceptable, especially given the circumstances and the additional fee I paid for timely delivery. The only compensation I was offered was a $20 voucher, which is of no use to me as I had already used a coupon for this order. This experience has been deeply frustrating and has caused me to lose faith in your company’s ability to deliver on its promises. I will not be using 1-800-Flowers again, and I will be sharing this negative experience with my family and friends. I gave them one star at zero was not an option.

    I guess shame on me for giving this company a few chances. This is the 4th time I've used them, and the last 3 times I have ordered from them they do not deliver in the PAID FOR delivery window. DO NOT use their same day service. The text updates also do not work though you have signed up for them. The processing fees are outrageous and they charge you for all kinds of extras without showing the price until the last moment. STAY AWAY.

    1 star because I had to. Wow!!! Where to start. The ordering process was easy. I order a large spray for my mother's funeral, two days before the funeral. They advertise next day delivery. The order was confirmed. I saw the email and it said they would deliver 9am-8pm. I called to confirm they would be delivered before the funeral which was at 11am. Spoke to someone who barely spoke English, I couldn’t understand them. I had to have them keep repeating themselves, until I understood. She said she put it in the computer and let the florist know. I called the next morning (8am) to confirm because I wasn’t too sure, and that’s when they told me that the florist didn’t have enough flowers and refused the order.

    After being on the phone for an hour. I was Very disappointed and emotional. Thinking, how could they!!! Didn’t even offer a small spray. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from them and they didn’t deliver. The 1st time was on Mother’s Day. So, I asked for my money back. They tried to offer me just 50% of my money back. SMH the nerve!!! Not my fault you can’t deliver the flowers that I ordered. So we went round and round and they finally said I get the full refund. So, never again will I try to order from this company. Don’t waste your time. Just call the local florist yourself. :( Shame on you 1-800flowers….do better!!!

    I sent in an order 10 days ago and it wasn't delivered... No notice from company but recipient said it was never delivered. I checked company 2 days after expected delivery, and they said, "Oops, we'll get it out next day," but never did. Now they say they didn't deliver but will give me 10 dollars off next order! Horribly embarrassing as I missed my terminally ill friend's birthday... Never use them again!! Still no delivery, 3 days later. Hope I can get my money back from these scoundrels.

    They missed our 35th anniversary. I paid good money, not only for the roses but for shipping. They said, "Sorry for the inconvenience." Really??? That was a once in a lifetime event. Should I tell my wife, "sorry for the inconvenience, I thought a company, whose whole business is sending flowers on an agreed upon date could actually complete a simple task!" Customer service was useless. No refund, no apology and made excuses. I want solutions, not excuses! They may have won this battle, but they will never get anymore business from me!     I recently received a large bouquet from family after heart surgery. Weeks later after returning to work, I received another almost identical bouquet upon my return to work. Both bouquets wilted by the second day, especially the roses. I know neither sender can afford to spend so much money in the first place but for such an inferior product is robbery.     I have used 1800 flowers 5 or 6 times for long distances deliveries. The first thing is most purchases end up being $20 more than the advertised price with tax and delivery fees. The worst part of their service is they don’t deliver on the dates that they “expect.” This is my last time dealing with the headache of 800 Flowers.

    My coworkers father passed. Our department got together and ordered her a nice bouquet of flowers to show her that we support her and are here during her time of grief! I spoke with 3 different agents. One on the day I placed the order. Another the following day to confirm the address and delivery date and time. Which was confirmed! Nicholas and Charina confirmed the order was placed. I spoke with Kim yesterday evening who confirmed the florist had my order and the time and delivery date even sent me another email to confirm info. Today is the funeral. I still have not received notice that the arrangements were delivered at 1030am. I reached out only to find out that the florist was not able to complete my order that was due at 10 am! No notification and to make matters worse the funeral is in Indiana. I am in Cincinnati. I have no way to make this right.

    I had to beg for a refund so I can think of something else to do with the money to show compassion for my grieving co worker. 1-800-Flowers.com is filled with incompetent staff. Scamming company. Taking money. Preying on people grief! I would not recommend anyone use this company when buying arraignment for any type of occasion!

    My Husband ordered flowers for our 17 wedding anniversary. We received the order which was the worst bouquet I have ever seen, Broken, wilted flowers. He called to complain about the arrangement and was promised a replacement bouquet would be sent out the next day by 9:00 am. When that did not happen he was promised by noon delivery, which also did not happen. He was then told they had up until 8:00 pm for residential which also was not delivered. After 7 phone calls and speaking to a supervisor it was promised next day morning delivery. Guess what? That didn't happen either. Waited all day for flowers still weren't delivered.

    The excuse they used this time was, they didn't have the recipient phone number which my husband provided to them and I received two apology phone calls from them, so that was another lie. I finally received the arrangement 3 days after my anniversary and 21 phone calls later. Do not give this company your business, You will be disappointed and lied to over & over. The customer representative are Located in the Philippines and are very hard to understand.

    I have used this company a few times. Yesterday was the last time. Definitely not worth purchasing the extra stuff. If they don’t have it they will try to send it after delivery or even delay the flowers so they make sure you keep that stuff. It wasn’t the first time they didn’t have the candy, balloons or stuffed animal. I told them simply that that’s alright just send the flowers. Either the flower company they work with or someone in the back office decided the best way to respond to that was to cancel the order which I had place 5 days before.

    I talked to several people and gave customer service to make this right. Me and the recipient didn’t know this order was canceled until I called 30 minutes after it was supposed to be sent and they finally told me they cancelled it. So my recipient and I waited all day for nothing. Their reply was, "Give us another chance." I told them to make the situation right and they just said they did everything they could. This business needs is really messing with the wrong customers. Should they go out of business that’s all on them.

    I ordered a floral arrangement for a funeral. The website stated it could be delivered on the specific day requested. The day of the funeral I had to call to confirm delivery, and was told it was out for delivery. I requested to speak to a representative who informed me that the florist assigned could not handle the request but it could be delivered at a later date. THE LARGE FLORAL CROSS WAS FOR A FUNERAL!! Why would you suggest it be delivered another day. I should have been notified the day of the transaction that it could not be fulfilled so I could have made alternative arrangements. Customer service is lacking and insensitive to sensitive situations.

    I ordered flowers to my wife for our anniversary. The flowers was never delivered and was told it will be delivered early the following day and they will refund my shipping fee. The next day the flowers again were not delivered and was told that they will use one of their preferred floral shop to complete my order and I will get half the cost back.     I use to love 1 800 Flowers. Recently I ordered flowers for a friend's funeral services and they didn’t deliver. I called. They said they would redeliver and failed at second attempt again!!! Third time they offered me $20 and to redeliver again. They refused to credit me more than $ 20 and could care less if they lost me as a customer. I enclosed a picture of how many times I attempted to have flowers delivered for my friend's service. They dropped the ball 110%.
