On Feb 2, my boyfriend ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day. They did not arrive. He called after Valentines Day, and the representative told him that the flowers would be late and offered him 50% off and a promise that the flowers would arrive by 2/20. They did NOT arrive. Again. I called today (2/21) to follow up and received one after another unhelpful, contradictory, and even flat rude and disrespectful response and treatment from every single associate with whom we spoke. We were told first that the florist rejected our order (and we were never even notified even though we were still charged 50% of the original price).
At one point we were even told that the flowers had been delivered. They most certainly had not been delivered! We also called the Corporate Office and spoke to a supervisor named Ivy. She put me on hold in the middle of our conversation without even letting me know when I was simply explaining to her the ridiculousness of the situation. The original order would have been two weeks late by 2/21 as it was, once my boyfriend was informed they had re-ordered them. I wanted to receive the flowers for free at this point, but Ivy had not stuck around long enough to hear my full explanation and frustration. I asked the first lady with whom I spoke if I could get the flowers and a full refund.
At that point, I was under the impression that we would receive both since I was not told any other information. I next contacted the Corporate Office to make sure that would happen. When Ivy told me that would not happen because the order had already been cancelled, I asked to speak to her manager. I wanted to tell Ivy's manager that the first lady failed to tell me that I would not still receive the flowers and ask why Ivy was incapable of ordering another arrangement for us free of charge.
When I asked to speak to Ivy's manager, she immediately put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me without any notice. When we called a third time, the representative refused to let us speak with a manager and tried to tell us that she had done her job. No, she hung up on me. I never, not once, yelled or became abusive or used inappropriate language with any representative. However, we were obviously upset at the disrespectful behavior of the representatives and their complete lack of helpfulness.
Honestly I have never been so disappointed in a company, service, or representatives. The promise of a "smile on my face" is a complete fabrication. Honestly, my next step will be to make sure everyone I know or come in contact with, in person and on social media, knows how unprofessional, unreliable, disappointing, and disrespectful the service and representatives of this company were to us and how upset we are at the entire experience.
1-800-Flowers seems to be a good value. The flowers always arrive on time. However the cost always seems a little higher than expected. I like the fact that a database is kept so I can reuse addresses for Christmas and birthdays. Of recent I have been using Amazon. It seems that Amazon is a bit cheaper and easier to use. Though I seem to have a hard time indicating it is a gift with Amazon.
I am extremely disappointed. I ordered flowers yesterday and paid for same day delivery and got a phone call that notified me that the flowers were rescheduled to be delivered tomorrow because of bad weather. That's fine. That same night I get a notification saying the flowers were delivered. I asked my friend if she received them and she said she didn't. I call the next morning to ask what happened and they said they were delivered based off of what was put in their system. I told them they were not delivered, and I explained the phone call I received the day before. They called the florist and said that it was just an error in their system and they were not delivered, but will be today. It is past 4 pm and they have YET to be delivered to my friend. They never offered to pay me back for the same day delivery I had paid for originally and I'm still waiting on the flowers to be delivered. This is the worst service and I will never be purchasing flowers from here again.
Flowers were old and not fresh. I have never ordered from any online flower group since. I now contact my local florist Kuhns here in Jacksonville and even if I was sending flowers to another state they apparently only deal with the better florists in those other states and I've never been disappointed in the flowers that was sent.
On top of being overly price even with a discount. The flowers we received almost late and the card was missing. My dissatisfaction was relay to the company. All I got was a "I'm sorry we messed up". I thought it was a 100% satisfaction guarantee, I was not happy.

I did not have a good experience with the company that I connected with by ordering through the 1-800-Flowers. They did not fill the order as I wanted. When the order was late, I contacted them to cancel it. Their idea was to add more roses for the same cost. I was very disappointed. In future I will find a florist in the locale of the person I am sending the bouquet to. It is a lot less headaches. I get exactly what I want.
I ordered one of the white dog arrangements pictured on your website and my order was accepted. A while later I missed a call from 1-800-Flowers. I attempted to return the call and spoke with a customer service rep who had me wait while he checked on my order. He returned to tell me I had been called to confirm my order, all was well. After that call I received a voicemail from 1-800-Flowers asking that I call back. I called a second time and at that time was told none of the flower shops in my area knew how to make the dog arrangement I ordered. The second rep offered me $20 credit which she said would be emailed to me. I have not received the credit.
When my sister-in-law passed away several years ago, I ordered flowers for the wake at the funeral home. When I arrived, I saw big beautiful arrangements around the room. Mine wasn't there. When they finally arrived, it was during the wake, not prior to as I was told. It was such a small arrangement for the price, I was thoroughly embarrassed. Not as it was described to me over the phone. I was very close to her, and I was crushed. During the break, I went to a small shop near my home and got a much better arrangement for the price! The Blossom Shop has been my florist ever since. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Since then, I've heard other people express similar complaints.
Called 1-800-Flowers just hours before my friend's dad's funeral. Large peace Lily was delivered on time and very pretty (as far as peace lilies go). Was very satisfied with the service considering it was a last minute delivery. Will use their service again sometime in the future. Also would recommend to others.
I have ordered many times from them. Always happy with my purchases. I love the convenience of the site too. I have ordered different types of arrangements and each time I have been very happy. My favorite are their kaleidoscope roses. They are the prettiest. The fresh flowers also last a lot time.
I wasn't happy at all with the flowers someone sent me. They were in poor condition upon arrival. I did call and make a complaint, and they did respond. But by then the moment had been missed and I was very disappointed my surprise was not as intended. Thank you!
I placed an order, six hours later got an email saying it was outside their delivery area, there is a flower shop that I have used previously 10 miles from the location. They waited until it was obviously too late to complete the delivery and are giving me problems about canceling the order and getting a refund.
The flowers I sent my daughter did not look good at all, I will never order from them again. I was looking for the flowers in the picture and I was very disappointed. The flowers died quick. Usually when I order flowers from another florist they stay a week looking fresh but the flowers from 1-800 did not.

Called the 1-800-Flowers. Ordered my mother a large live plant mixture for Mother's Day($60.00). They told me it would arrive by a certain time, informed her they were coming, from what time to expect them by... she sat all day and waited. They NEVER showed up. I called again and was told they be there the next day... they it didn't come till after Mother's Day and was Not the arrangement I had ordered. It was just a small plant and they never came to the door... she found it on her doorstep late in the afternoon. Even though she was there all day they never rang the bell. I then called a 3rd time and all they would say was they give me a 10% discount for the next order. I will never use them again.
I used them for a dear uncle's wake and the arrangement they sent us was both horrible looking and overpriced... the basket was some sorry looking little putrid little dingy thing that look like it was used once before. Flowers look like something well that they were trying to avoid throwing out in the back dumpster, I will never use them again. Thank you very much.
This company is really great. The flowers were fresh and beautiful! They were kind and courteous with. I placed my order over the phone, because I had questions. My sister in law was very surprised and impressed. The flowers are always brilliant and beautiful. I would recommend 1800 Flowers and have recommended them to every I could think of. They are truly worthy of the task. Whenever we need to send flowers, we use 1800 Flowers.
Ordered flowers for my grandmother's grave in Iowa. They were delivered. Great place to order from. Everything was as to what I ordered. My grandmother would have loved them. They look beautiful on her stone. Will order again and tell my friends. They take pride in their flowers and serving the public. Great company.
Even though I paid the extra $10.00 for speedy delivery before 11 a.m. the flowers didn't arrive until nearly 2 p.m. I'm not really very impressed with the service. Then when you try to call for any kind of information the process takes forever to get through. I will just stay with bringing flowers home from the store myself.

I often use 1-800-FLOWERS, they are on time, not overpriced and have a wonderful collection of gifts. Even though they suggest to use the early AM delivery quite often the gifts are delivered by noon. The website is very user friendly, easy to navigate. I do not worry about my credit card storage at all.
The call center is not based in America and the people are very difficult to understand. My poor fiancé spent all of Valentine's Day trying to track down $100 worth of flowers, he finally went to a local florist. Save yourself time, money and sanity. Shops at a local florist or find local suppliers so you don't need to deal with this mess.
We ordered funeral flowers 5 days ahead of time. I even contacted the funeral specialist number. I was put on hold at least 5 times during the next 5 days because I could not get a confirmation for delivery. It was already an upsetting time and no one could give me the confirmation I needed that they would be delivered. Twice I was guaranteed an email within 15 minutes (2 days in a row). I asked for a supervisor and actually held for one but they never came. The 3rd time I demanded to speak to one they definitely put someone on the phone who was not knowledgeable of the situation. There was also no card attached to the arrangement. This also was unacceptable! Lack of knowledge was unacceptable! Do not use 1-800 flowers if you need personal assistance.
I understand that 1-800 Flowers is there for convenience and they are never going to look as nice as the local florist. I called 4 days before Valentine's Day to send my mother flowers and actually asked to get the delivered on the 13th because I knew the 14th would be chaotic. The call me the next day and tell me the bouquet I picked was out of stock and I had to pick a new one and it wouldn't get delivered until the 14th... Even better. The bouquet doesn't even show up until the 17th and they are so wilted and disgusting you couldn't even tell what they were. When I called to get a refund they were like, "We can give you 50% of the credit back and send out a new one." ARE YOU KIDDING ME! NO! You will give me a full refund and send out a new bouquet for free because my poor mother thought I wasn't thinking of her on Valentine's Day. They did the refund but wouldn't send a new bouquet. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
I ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my Daughter to be delivered on 2/13 or 2/14. I received an email that they were delivered by a local Florist. (They had not.) I called on 2/15 and they again said they were delivered. I asked what does "Delivery" mean. Evidently it means when a truck left the florist shop. I said I included her phone number to call and they said they don't carry a phone. (Really what delivery person isn't on the phone all day long). They said they promised that she would get them the next day. STILL WAITING. Whatever you do, do not use 1-800-Flowers. Use an FTD Florist instead. FTD Guarantees their flowers and most call before they come to make sure you are even home or arrange for delivery. My Daughter just received her FTD Flowers and we are still waiting on 1-800-Flowers for my refund (6-9 business days).
I ordered two dozen red roses for my wife to be delivered on Valentine's Day, assuming that a local florist would be used. Instead I received an email stating that the flowers were being delivered FedEx and would be there by 8PM. They have still not been delivered, I've emailed several times for a refund and receive an automated response, and cannot get anyone on the phone. I'll search for a local florist next time and won't ever use this company again.
Bad Order Called Twice And No Replacement Or Refund! I ordered roses from "these people" and when they arrived, all the petals were off and scattered throughout the box they were shipped. I emailed and told the guy about my order and he said they'd replace it. I waited two days more and no shipment. Then I emailed them again and the same reply, "I'm sorry that your order wasn't satisfactory, we'll get another one right out." This is a week later and still no roses and they were a Valentine's gift for the wife. Do you really expect repeat customers? If you do, this is not the way or means to have repeat customers. I'm sorry I ordered from 1-800-Flowers.
I ordered a very nice sympathy plant 2 weeks ahead of a memorial service. What was delivered was an ugly tall skinny orchid in a tiny glass pot that was bent over. They assured me that the correct item I ordered would be sent and delivered the same day, this was not done. This cost me $75.00, they never offered me a refund or partial refund or anything else to make it right. I will never order flowers from this company again!!!
