    Received email stating that flowers were delivered to recipient but they never were. It was apparent that the Customer service dept is limited on what they can say and do. 1-800-Flowers is 100% business centric and 0% customer centric. The ways they wanted to make things right were to 1) call and apologize to the recipient NOT to the person who spent nearly $100 on overpriced, crappy flowers. 2) Offered me $20 discount for next time (I'm not using them again) and 3) No one could deliver replacement flowers today. It would be delivered next day. Overall, horrible experience. Do not use them!

    Ordered birthday flowers for my girlfriend, to be sent to her work. That part was fine, and the ordering was easy. I ordered an arrangement in the shape of a birthday cake. What I bought and what she received would be considered two different things. Completely let down by the arrangement, attached are the images. If I never get my money back, at least I paid for the experience of never buying from this company again. If this is the flower shops fault, well then maybe 1-800-Flowers should stop using them.

    I placed my order for my mother birthday flowers on March 8 to be delivered on March 17. On the date that they were supposed to get delivered, she did not get the order. However, I received an email that stated that they were delivered. I called customer service and they told me it was an error on their part because they had an issue with delivery. Needless to say it's March 28, 2018, and she just received her flowers and she had to go pick them up herself. This is unacceptable customer service and I strongly recommend to anyone that they do not order flowers from 1-800-Flowers.

    I ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers.com on Saturday morning for a same day delivery. Within 5 minutes, I received my order number and confirmation. 20 minutes later I received a text saying the order was delivered. The flowers were for my stepdaughter's grandmother's funeral. On Sunday, the day of the viewing, my stepdaughter called and told me the flowers never arrived.

    I called the customer service of 1-800-Flowers and was told that an error had occurred in the delivery and that the flowers would be resent by the time of the visitation. No flowers showed up. 4 calls later, still no flowers for the funeral. A fifth call was made for a refund. Even the last call took 15 minutes. The customer service people were very accommodating, but did absolutely nothing!! I was very embarrassed to miss the opportunity to show my respect for this lady. I will never use 1-800-Flowers again and suggest you only order from these people if you truly don't care if the flowers show or not.

    My husband ordered flowers for two of my coworkers, one who had just lost a parent and another who had to have a very invasive surgery. We ordered them first thing in the morning and were told after the 2PM cut off that they had too many orders that day and would not be shipping our order. On top of this my husband was told it was his fault that he did not know the flowers would not be sent. Terrible customer service! I will never order flowers from here again.

    Ordered from Harry & David yesterday and signed up for the Passport Annual Membership - $29.99. Today I discover I was not only charged $123.60 for the two actual items and the Membership but there is ALSO a $99.36 "hold" on my bank account for 3-5 days. This is AFTER my items were already debited from my account! No need for a "hold"! Called Harry & David who explained the "hold" and I asked to cancel the Annual Membership. Referred to 1-800-FLOWERS.COM and told that since the Membership was "used" it could not be cancelled. Told them I would pay for shipping on items ordered and to cancel membership. Still they refused. So now I'm paying $29.99 to ship two items and stuck with a year long service I'll NEVER EVER use. THIEVES!

    I paid $180.00 for flowers. With fees it was over $225.00. They were sympathy flowers for someone that passed that I was very close to. I have to say I was almost ashamed at the display. It looked cheap and the flowers were sparse. Definitely the last time I'll buy from 1-800-Flowers. Shame on them!

    I received a FedEx delivery of Valentine's Day flowers from 1-800-Flowers. I had Lillies and Iris. The Lillies did not all open and not a single Iris opened! Instructions were followed on care. When I contacted them they said they needed the confirmation # for the order, well if they are received as a gift the recipient would not have that. I was basically told too bad!!!

    I ordered flowers for their same day delivery service before their deadline of 2 pm. I was then contacted after 2 pm and told that they would not be delivering the flowers that day but the next. (Now it was too late to try and order another same day delivery service.) There was no reason as to why they weren't delivering the flowers and eventually someone tried to tell me that I ordered after 2 pm when I had email confirmations stating that it was hours before that. No one in their customer service department was able to do anything for me and most just went silent on the line when I explained the issue and would ask "I'm sorry ma'am but what would you like us to do?"

    When I stated I wanted a refund because they weren't able to follow through with the obligation, they simply offered free delivery for the next day. (Which I didn't want, as now the flowers were already late.) No refund was given until I told yet another customer service agent that I wanted to speak to a manager who could actually give me a refund. This whole process took 6 hours. (from 2 pm to 8 pm). During this process I even got an email stating the flowers had been delivered when they in fact had not. This makes me think that these flowers would have never been delivered as their computers had already processed the order. Never order flowers from 1-800flowers.com. They do not follow through with their own policies, have terrible customer service agents who just give you the runaround and you essentially have to beg for a refund for flowers that weren't delivered when they said they would be.

    I ordered flowers from this establishment last week. Flowers arrived looking nothing like what was shown in photo. When I requested a voucher for a complimentary bouquet to be used at a later time, I was given a $20.00 voucher. I will never give my money to this business again. Very disappointed.

    This company have the worst customer services. Order flower for a funeral out state to deliver the day of the funeral 3 days later no flowers deliver. Cancel order after the promise to deliver the same day and repeatedly told them the funeral was 3 days early was too late for them to deliver the flowers. Never use this company again.

    I was told so many different "LIES" about my order being ready to go, will go out after lunch, out for delivery, NONE OF THE STORIES WERE TRUE!! I would NEVER use 1-800-Flowers again!!!     I ordered a nice get well arrangement for my niece who was in the hospital having her appendix removed. I ordered them to arrive that day and they should have been delivered that afternoon as she was coming out of surgery. They were not delivered that day, or the next before her discharge. Disappointed I called to see where they were and have them delivered to her house, which is a few miles away. I was connected with a very nice woman who assured me it would be no problem and that it would not cost extra, and apologized that the flowers were late.

    The next morning I received a call that said from 1-800-Flowers, a woman in very broken English with a loud television and children screaming in the background telling me that the flowers I ordered were not in stock and insisting I take another arrangement. After a few moments she asked to call me back and up assumed this was so she could take care of the background noise, unfortunately no, the second call was as noisy. She still insisted I take another arrangement she only described as "very pretty". I refused, and demanded a refund, she said she would have to get authorization and quickly hung up.

    I immediately called 1-800-Flowers to verify this was a legitimate communication since it was so strange, they could only tell me they couldn't access my account since someone else was so they said it was being canceled and my money refunded and they were very sorry. I checked my account a few minutes later and the $82 had indeed returned, followed immediately by a $78 charge I had not authorized. I immediately called them back about this fraudulent charge and they assured me it would be refunded and would take 7-10 days? They can replace my canceled order within minutes but a fraudulent charge takes 7-10 days?

    My sister and I ordered flowers for my grandfather's funeral from all the grandkids but the $250 grave site arrangement did not get delivered. A confirmation email was received from 1-800-Flowers saying the flowers have been delivered but the flowers were NOT at the funeral home. I called customer service and received a woman from another country that was obviously reading from a script. She kept insisting that the arrangement had been delivered. I told her on multiple occasions that I was at the funeral home had spoke with the funeral home director. The arrangement was not there. He even showed me the delivery log for that day. No flowers from 1-800-Flowers from me.

    I asked for the name of the local florist that was used so I could contact them myself in order to resolve the issue but the woman said it was "confidential information" and refused to give their info. She placed me on hold and says she called the florist. She came back and stated they insist the arrangement was delivered but again refused to give me their name so I could resolve the issue and speak to them myself. I verified the address for the funeral home and my grandfather's name to ensure they were delivered to the correct address. All the info was correct. The woman offered half a refund and 20% off any arrangement for Mother's Day. That obviously was not good enough.

    I paid $250 on this arrangement and receiving $125 back with no flowers is not acceptable. She offered to have the arrangement reordered at no cost to me and have them delivered to my grandfather and grandmother's house. I did not accept that as this was a large spray that goes on the gravesite therefore that was not going to be acceptable. At this point I was livid. It literally took me crying and yelling at her as I stood in the parking lot of the funeral home arguing with her instead of spending time inside with my grieving family to get a full refund. That was the worst experience EVER! I will never ever do business with 1-800-Flowers or any of their affiliates again. Needless to say my family will not never use their business either.

    The level of incompetence on my last order was dumbfounding. I placed an order on January 26 for delivery on February 20th. At 5 pm on the 19th I got an email saying the item was not available. (How is this not known until the day before delivery?) I was told that the item would be available for delivery on the 22nd. Ok, that is the actual date of my parent's anniversary, and that seemed reasonable. On the afternoon of the 21st, I get a phone call saying that the item is not available. Seriously, you didn't know that 2 days ago? I agreed to a substitute item from another source of your many companies. I was ASSURED that it would be delivered on the 22nd. NOPE. I waited a few days, to be sure. Then I had to leave town.

    When I returned I find that my parents STILL don't have an anniversary gift from me. I call in, and get no answer, bumped up to a customer "service" person. She informs me that since I used a gift card for the original purchase that it was showing as redeemed. SERIOUSLY? NO ONE COULD NOTIFY me of that? and, since the follow ups are all on your end, HOW IS THIS MY PROBLEM? I've used Wolfermans and Harry and David for over 30 years each. I have NEVER had this level of INCOMPETENCE. The customer "service" person tells me "she wishes there was something she could do." REALLY, she's not empowered to ship a free gift to my parents, and refund my certificate? HOW can you do business like this?? I don't usually air customer complaints online, as I would want someone to bring the problem to my attention first. I think this is the only way I will get any resolution from 1800Flowers.

    On Mar 8, 2018, at 6:04 PM I sent the following e-mail to 1800Flowers customer service: "The lack of accurate communication has been unforgivable. Each time I contacted your business by phone or e-mail, I received the same generic response. Your online tracking was useless. You could never verify that the funeral flowers were made, placed on a vehicle for delivery, and delivered. You would never tell me who the florist was due to your confidentiality policy, so I could put the effort into tracking it myself. Yet you charged my credit card for the flowers and delivery that you could not verify. This is in violation of our Federal Trade policies.

    "Finally after at least two e-mails and four painfully useless phone calls, I asked to speak to the manager. I asked him to please just call the funeral home to see if the flowers arrived. This is something that seemed like a logical step you would have taken when all other communication and procedures had failed. While I was on hold with the manager, the funeral home owner had the decency to call to let me know the flowers did arrive. The manager with whom I spoke then communicated the same to me.

    "I have learned a valuable lesson from this. I did not order flowers directly from a local florist where the funeral was taking place, where I grew up, but now 10 hours away from where I live, because I wanted to get an order in as soon as possible and that florist would be opening after my workday began. I had ordered flowers from them before. They are good people, they know the families there, and they care. The time I saved by placing an order with 1800Flowers that morning was by far bypassed by the time lost on the effort to get some honesty and accuracy from you.

    "The bottom line is 1800Flowers does not know me or the loved ones I tried to comfort by sending flowers. It has been a long time since I have felt so much indifference. It was among one of the worse times to have experienced it. I will never use 1800Flowers again, nor will I ever recommend a family member, friend, or coworker use your services. I feel a deep ache in my heart from this experience and complete dismay that it actually happened."

Said would "redeliver" on Sunday which was actual birthday. Told them fine. No delivery again! I called Thursday after sending multiple emails with no response.     I ordered a get well flower arrangement for a colleague who will be having surgery tomorrow 3-6-18 to be delivered today 3-5-18. I specified that I needed the arrangement delivered before 1 pm as she would not be at work for the full day. The flower arrangement was delivered after 4 pm.     Shame on me for not reading the reviews for 1-800-Flowers before using them. I ordered a basket of flowers to be delivered to my son and his family in their new home on Saturday March 3. No delivery Saturday or Sunday. I specifically wanted them there Saturday so they could see them together. My son had to leave early Monday morning for a business trip. I called customer service to see what happened. They insisted they were delivered on Saturday but could not tell me when or who accepted them. I asked for a supervisor, was put on hold, and then told no supervisor was available. Then the rep said they couldn't be delivered on Saturday and they were delivered today. This still was not true.

    After expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund I was offered a coupon for future use. Really!! I stated I did not want this and would never use their service again. Thirty minutes later a "flower" delivery arrived. It was nothing like what I ordered and was poor, poor quality at that. What a huge disappointment for me and my son's family. I will never use them or ever recommend to anyone else. Shame on them!

    Last year I placed an order to have flowers delivered to my mom and sister the same day same address for Mother's Day. The flowers were Not delivered the as schedule, after calling to ask about the status of my order they told me there were no local florist available. So my mom and sister got Mother's Day flowers a day late! A few days ago I placed another order, I was never asked if I wanted to pay extra to have the flowers delivered at a specific time during the day although I specifically told the person on the phone I needed them to be delivered Sat morning. I called several times during the day and their response was they are on their way... more than 4 hours later I finally received a call from my sister telling me she had received them. Never again, customer service sucks and delivery is even worse!

    I placed two orders and the first was a mess on arrival. The 2nd was alright. I did complain to the company about the 1st order and they said they'd send another right out. They didn't so I called them and then they shipped and it remained in Fedex for three days and arrived wilted, petals and leaves falling off. Fedex didn't have to hold the flowers from 1 Mar-3 Mar and 1-800-Flowers could have shipped the first shipments in a timely manner. Bottom line, it was for Valentine's Day and the shipment didn't arrive until the 3rd of March! I'd have to be out of my mind to order from them again!!

    This is my 2nd and last time ordering from this company! The first was a complete disaster. My mom was in the hospital and never received the flowers which were supposed to be same day delivery. After several annoying phone calls with someone I could barely understand, I was assured my flowers would be delivered to my mom's house. They never showed up so I called once again and they said "oh I'm so sorry but we do not deliver to her location, but we will put a beautiful new arrangement together and she can pick them up tomorrow in Duluth," which is about 30 miles away. After getting really angry, they finally found a florist to deliver to her home.

    What she received was not even close to what I ordered originally and worth the money I spent! They promised me an $20 discount on my next order...I did not get that either and they could find no record of this agreement the next time I made on order. So, I ordered my next flowers anyway as it was my husband's aunt's 50th birthday and I really just wanted to make sure she received something nice on the day of. I ordered and paid for a double bouquet of roses and lilies in a pink vase...it was not cheap, what she got was a bundle of crapy looking flowers without a vase, she had to put them in a case of her own.

    After calling and speaking with yet another customer service rep that I could barely understand, she said they could not refund my money, but would send a replacement bouquet (what I ordered to start with), but the earliest delivery would be March 6th...her birthday was on March 1st!!! If I could leave negative stars I would...this company does not deserve the 1 star you gave to leave! Never again will this happen!! If you are thinking of using this company, do yourself a favor and just don't!

    Ordered online for plant to be delivered on March 1st. When I didn't get a delivery confirmation on that date I checked My Orders and saw it was scheduled for delivery on MARCH 29! No idea why delivery date had been changed. Needed delivery on the 1st. Was told the best they could do was March 13, too late for my purposes. They had no explanation as to why the date was changed. Cancelled my order but was now left with no gift to send. Will not chance ordering from them again.

    I contacted 1-800-Flowers on Sunday February 25, 2018 to have a sympathy basket delivered to my aunt and uncle's home in Georgia for a funeral. The funeral was to be Wednesday Feb. 28 and 1-800-Flowers said it will be delivered. On March 1 when I saw it was not delivered I contacted the company and they said, “Sorry but it will be delivered on March 6 instead.” I emailed them again and their response was pretty much an, “Oh Well too bad.” I would never use them again!!! Or recommend them. This was a family member and a loss.

    We wanted to send a nice arrangement to a friend who lost a beloved pet. We picked a nice $80 arrangement, which, with shipping and tax, came to $106. A tad steep, but well worth it to put a smile on our friend's face. Take a look and see for yourself at what was advertised online and compare it to what our friend received. THIS IS A HORRIBLE ARRANGEMENT! It's all crammed into the vase with no artistic creativity at all -- it looks like a child picked these out of the yard and stuffed them in there. NOT AT ALL WHAT WE PAID $106 FOR!!! Never again will I use 1-800-flowers... NEVER!!!

    If I could give this company 0 stars and leave a review I would. The customer service is HORRIBLE! We ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, paid extra to be sure it was delivered THAT day and they didn't get delivered until 2 days later! We paid for the large bouquet but it delivered as a small, the chocolates were the small $1 chocolates and the bear was cheap and had a price sticker of $5 on it! When I called they told me there was nothing they can do because they just send the order to another florist company and they fill the order. When I contacted the florist they said it was actually illegal for them to talk to me directly about the order because I am not their customer and everything needs to be taken up with 1800 flowers. So we are out $100 and extremely disappointed. Never again will we use their services and I will make sure to tell everyone how horrible they are!

    I placed a order on 2/26/2018 that 1-800-Flowers.com could not meet the time frame. I was dealing with reps from other countries and NOT the USA which is WRONG!!! Another USA company that wants our money but not to pay USA taxes and salaries to our citizens. Once I cancelled the order I was then told it would take 7-10 days for a refund. It didn't take 7-10 days to take my money out of my account so now that a BAD service was provided you now insult me by saying you're going to hold on to my money to gain interest. I will NEVER do business with this company again and will tell ALL my friends the same.

    I ordered a large floral display and mylar balloon bouquet for my Mother who is an Alzheimer's patient in a memory care facility. My Mom generally sits expressionless in her wheelchair in front of a TV most days and hasn't spoken in a year. Upon seeing this flower arrangement and having Happy Birthday sung to her by the Care Center Staff, she smiled and clapped her hands. The first expression of emotion in over a year. My Father, in his 90's, was so happy to see his beloved Wife having a happy day. Thanks so much to 1-800-Flowers for giving our Family such a happy day. We'll be back.

    I ordered flowers for my mother on her birthday. Not only did the company deliver the flowers, but they did not tell me that they were not going to deliver the flowers. The company claims they do "same day" orders, but I ordered in advance and they were not able to deliver. When I called the company they claimed that there were no florists available. I would expect that they would notify me promptly if there were no florists available in their network so that I could make alternate arrangements. After all this, they hassled me about a refund and tried to offer me 50%. After that they said they would issue a "full" then left me on hold for way too long, so I hung up.     I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM 1-800-FLOWERS!! I ordered flowers for my daughter to be received on VALENTINE'S DAY, and she never got them. When I called 1-800-Flowers the same day, I was advised that the flowers were delivered but left in a different department. It would not have been so bad IF, they would have delivered in the time frame promised AND called like they said they would.

    Nonetheless, I requested a refund and was repeatedly given the runaround and told that I would receive my money within 7 days. Here it is nearly 2 weeks later and still nothing. I repeatedly requested to speak to a supervisor, and was denied every time. After nearly 2 weeks, I find out TODAY, that the refund request was never submitted. I refused to speak to anyone else other than a supervisor. I finally spoke to someone at corporate. Hopefully I see my money soon or else I will be forced to seek legal counsel. If I could, this company would get negative stars from me!!!

    I ordered flowers and paid extra to narrow the window of time for the delivery so I could be sure my recipient would be home. My confirmation email said a different time than I had selected, so I called the customer service number so that I could make sure they arrived when I needed to. The first person had no idea how to see what time my order would arrive and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. I hung up and called back, and the same thing happened with the second person I spoke with- no clue and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Once again, I hung up and called back. The third person I spoke with seemed like she knew what was going on and assured me that my order would be delivered in the window of time I specified and paid for. She also told me that if my recipient was not home that the delivery driver would call them to make arrangements to deliver the flowers to a person and not leave them on the porch.

    This would not be an issue if my flowers were delivered in the window of time I paid for. Well, my flowers were sent six hours early and were left out in a storm to ruin. I called customer service to try to get a remedy and the person who I spoke with said they would not refund my purchase and yawned twice while we were talking. It was incredibly rude, and just like the rest of the people I spoke with, she refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Today I checked my bank statement and I see that they have charged my card THREE TIMES for my order. I know I will get nowhere by calling customer service again, so I will have to protest the charges with my bank. This has been a huge expensive hassle and I will never order from 1-800-Flowers again. Ever. And I would advise anyone who reads this to avoid this company at all costs.

    If I could give this company a negative stars review, I would! I received flowers on Valentine's Day (2 dozen roses), which arrive dead and rotted. The sender spent $167.00 plus to send these flowers. I called and complained about the flowers and they said they would send new ones that would arrive the next day (15th). They did not arrive and when I called they had not been shipped. So they again were suppose to send them, I let them know they were going to a business so it would need to be delivered after the holiday on the 20th because our office was closed. They said no problem.

    Well they tried to deliver the flowers on Saturday the 17th so when they showed up on Tuesday the 20th they were again dead. I called and they said that they had sent out a new order because they couldn't change the order that had been sent early. Well that order never arrive. Then they said they sent out another order that would come from a local florist and it would arrive on the 21st. That order also never arrived. When I contacted them they said it was delivered and found out it was sent to the SENDER. Really? I had provided my address previously. They said it was a miscommunication and they could do anything but try to resend the order. So as of today the 22nd I have not received the replace flowers that arrived dead.

    I would recommend never using this company. Plus the original flowers that I did receive looked nothing like the pictures. I feel bad for anyone that spends so much money to send flowers from this company. You are better off to use a local florist! The customer service here is awful. I doubt they will never make the order right. As you can see from the pictures below what they were supposed to look like and what actually arrived.

    Called to purchase a funeral arrangement for my mother in law. Had such difficulty understanding woman on phone that I made an excuse and called back.     On Feb 2, my boyfriend ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day. They did not arrive. He called after Valentines Day, and the representative told him that the flowers would be late and offered him 50% off and a promise that the flowers would arrive by 2/20. They did NOT arrive. Again. I called today (2/21) to follow up and received one after another unhelpful, contradictory, and even flat rude and disrespectful response and treatment from every single associate with whom we spoke. We were told first that the florist rejected our order (and we were never even notified even though we were still charged 50% of the original price).

    At one point we were even told that the flowers had been delivered. They most certainly had not been delivered! We also called the Corporate Office and spoke to a supervisor named Ivy. She put me on hold in the middle of our conversation without even letting me know when I was simply explaining to her the ridiculousness of the situation. The original order would have been two weeks late by 2/21 as it was, once my boyfriend was informed they had re-ordered them. I wanted to receive the flowers for free at this point, but Ivy had not stuck around long enough to hear my full explanation and frustration. I asked the first lady with whom I spoke if I could get the flowers and a full refund.

    At that point, I was under the impression that we would receive both since I was not told any other information. I next contacted the Corporate Office to make sure that would happen. When Ivy told me that would not happen because the order had already been cancelled, I asked to speak to her manager. I wanted to tell Ivy's manager that the first lady failed to tell me that I would not still receive the flowers and ask why Ivy was incapable of ordering another arrangement for us free of charge.

    When I asked to speak to Ivy's manager, she immediately put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me without any notice. When we called a third time, the representative refused to let us speak with a manager and tried to tell us that she had done her job. No, she hung up on me. I never, not once, yelled or became abusive or used inappropriate language with any representative. However, we were obviously upset at the disrespectful behavior of the representatives and their complete lack of helpfulness.

    Honestly I have never been so disappointed in a company, service, or representatives. The promise of a "smile on my face" is a complete fabrication. Honestly, my next step will be to make sure everyone I know or come in contact with, in person and on social media, knows how unprofessional, unreliable, disappointing, and disrespectful the service and representatives of this company were to us and how upset we are at the entire experience.

I ordered flowers yesterday and paid for same day delivery and got a phone call that notified me that the flowers were rescheduled to be delivered tomorrow because of bad weather. That's fine. That same night I get a notification saying the flowers were delivered. I asked my friend if she received them and she said she didn't. I call the next morning to ask what happened and they said they were delivered based off of what was put in their system. I told them they were not delivered, and I explained the phone call I received the day before. I was put on hold at least 5 times during the next 5 days because I could not get a confirmation for delivery. It was already an upsetting time and no one could give me the confirmation I needed that they would be delivered. Twice I was guaranteed an email within 15 minutes (2 days in a row). I asked for a supervisor and actually held for one but they never came. The 3rd time I demanded to speak to one they definitely put someone on the phone who was not knowledgeable of the situation.     I custom ordered flowers and a gift for my wife for Valentine's Day. Paid extra for guaranteed delivery on Valentine’s Day. They delivered on the 13th and delivered the wrong order. They didn’t deliver the gift with it. They tried to tell me that delivery is a window so they met the requirements. But the EXTRA $20 was for GUARANTEED delivery on the 14th. They then told me that they would deliver the rest on the 14th; they didn’t, and not on the 15th either. When I contacted them again (5th time) I finally got a call back. They offered to fix the shipping and deliver a 2nd arrangement. When they say was almost over I called and I was given an attitude telling me that the order was delivered in full on the 14th! They then rechecked and said it didn’t get put in. I was pissed. It turned out it did finally come and it was very late.

    I was so aggravated and frustrated that I just asked them to refund the additional shipping charges and be done with it. They had the nerve to tell me that they don’t refund shipping on replacement orders! More like you screwed up the order 3 damn times including the one that was SUPPOSED to be a makeup for what they forgot. In short this was an awful experience with an organization that is unprofessional, disorganized, dishonest and with horrific internal communication issues. If you want to give someone flowers, go to FTD, or some other organization. Avoid this company!!! Absolutely terrible!!!

    Your website asked for the “recipient” phone number. I thought that implied that on the day of delivery, if necessary, you would contact the “recipient” to let them know to either expect the delivery or that the delivery was complete. I did not however think you would’ve sent a text message to the “recipient” IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING MY ORDER!!! And therefore completely ruining the surprise. Thanks!     Did not fulfill my order on Valentine’s Day. The following day I called and they told me they’ll get it done 2 days after Valentine’s Day. I call on that day to remind them to fulfill my request. The day goes by and still nothing. Wasted 45+ minutes on customer service in total trying to fix get my request fulfilled but in the end I just received a refund. My boyfriend ordered me a present on the 29th so there would be no problem for Valentine's day and someone put the order number wrong for someone else on Feb 9th and they went ahead and changed to delivery recipient and everything except the buyer info!!!     Ordered flowers for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, and ordered for them to be delivered at her work. Called at 5:30 to ask where the flowers were because I hadn't gotten any notifications. Customer service line tells me that they make deliveries until 8pm. So I should just wait (even though she gets off work at 6, and I specified it was a business delivery). Then, at 7:45 I got a delivery confirmation email. So I called again to make sure the delivery person didn't just drop flowers outside a closed business. The customer service rep tells me my flowers were delivered at 11 am that day and left at the front desk.

    Next morning, call the front desk, but no flowers were delivered. Then called to complain, they rescheduled a new delivery date. (Element of surprise is gone now folks... I had to ask if she got them.) Today is the rescheduled date and guess what... Still no flowers. Flower company begs for my $100 to do something special for my girl on Valentine's Day and they can't even follow through even when given a second chance. Oh, and if you call on the 2nd time to ask if they're going to be delivered... The customer service rep will tell you to stop calling before 6 because they've "still got 12 mins to make the delivery". If these flowers ever show up... They better be perfect for being no showed so many times ON A VALENTINE'S DAY purchase... Not like the stakes are high or anything here.

    I cannot believe how many reviewers there are of this place on here, Yelp, and other sites found on Google, saying the EXACT SAME THING! It's almost like this company should be classified as SCAM! My husband placed an order with a promotion code and I had to call them to modify it to different flowers. It took forever to get them to understand that we had a promotion code and simply wanted to SWAP FLOWERS. When we finally thought the order was modified, his card was charged for the FULL amount before the discount! So we had to call AGAIN to get a refund, which also took DAYS for one of them to finally figure this out for us. It's not ** rocket science! We've talked to 6 different customer service representatives on the phone and 2 representatives through their site's chat for this. Might I add, they all speak little English and are hard to understand and have a hard time understanding customers. (One of them got overwhelmed and hung up on me.)

    I had to constantly repeat myself, ask the same question twice at minimum. Finally, the day of expected delivery, I went on their site to chat with a representative to make sure we will be getting our delivery on time today. She said it will be delivered between 9 am to 8 pm and will need a signature. I said that's too long of a time frame and that no one will be home from 4-9 pm, and asked her for the phone number to the local flower shop who will be sending the flowers, gave me the FedEx's phone number. Asked again. Then she said she is not allowed to give out that information. That was the last straw. I demanded her to cancel my order and for the full refund. She said it will be cancelled and will be refunding back $16.

    WHAT!!! $16 was the amount of our promotion towards the order! So I demanded again, for the full refund. Then when it was supposedly taken care of, I was still not assured that this would go smoothly so I called to verify. The representative (7th person we've talked to) said it has been requested of cancellation and will be refunded $39.99. My lid opened and yelled at him to CHECK AGAIN ON HOW MUCH MY REFUND IS. I am currently on hold as I write this. It's been 40 minutes!! I don't have to emphasize to stay away from this company. Never in my life have I dealt with customer service THIS terrible. Go out of business 1-800-Flowers.

    I ordered a small white and blue standing arrangement (Product 148713) on 01/26/2018 to be sent to a funeral home in NC. The arrangement was supposed to be sent the same day and it arrived on time before the service. I have attached a picture of the arrangement received and the arrangement posted on the website. I completely understand that it will not look exactly like the picture on the website, but what was received had mostly greenery and barely any flowers (even after the ones on it bloomed), and it also has a bow that looked like it was just crammed in the arrangement (actually looks like a triangle of ribbon stuffed in the arrangement to me). I contacted customer service about my complaint on 01/31/2018 and they said they would resent another arrangement to replace it and I told them no that the family was now out of town.

    They offered to refund me the full amount of 112.48, and I said it would be greatly appreciated. Then the same day I got another emailed from a different customer service person that I would be refunded half the amount, and be given $20 off your next order. I emailed this person back and told them that I was already told in the previous email I would be refunded the whole amount. They then emailed me back and said, "Yes you will be refunded the whole amount of 112.48 back and it should appear on your next billing statement." On 02/15/2018 I still have not received a refund and I emailed back again to let them know I have not been refunded, and they said that they have issued a refund of 112.48 and it should refund to your account in 24 to 48 hours from then.

    On 02/16/2018 I currently have a refund for 56.24 which is exactly half the amount I was supposed to receive, I have emailed them back and I am currently waiting for a response. This issues is still unresolved. I still have all the emails from them as proof. I have been looking for places to leave a review on their site, Facebook, Google, etc. and cannot find a place. I just want to share my experience with anyone who is thinking of ordering from them to let them know the problems I have had before they order.

Over an hour into the phone call I finally gave up on getting anything accomplished and asked for the number to corporate to provide feedback on the ignorance that will surely swallow the company whole. The "supervisor" (yeah right???) then proceeded to tell me that she will transfer me directly if I don't mind holding for 1-2 minutes while being sure NOT to provide me with her name, the number I need or the branch office I have been speaking with.     I ordered flowers for my friend who just got home from surgery. 1-800-Flowers said the delivery was scheduled for Feb 14, St. Valentine's Day. The flowers never arrived. Their order tracking website indicated the order was being filled. I tried calling customer service on the 14th but was on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. The next day I called again and got thru in 5 mins. The agent told me the order was never sent to the florist!!! She tried to convince me to reschedule the delivery but I refused and asked for a refund. The agent said she can only give me a 50% refund and a 20% gift credit!!! I went ballistic on her. I then called my mom to see who she liked her visitor at the front door, and found out that they were NEVER delivered. Called immediately and was told they would be re-delivered Sunday. When no luck for Sunday delivery, I contacted via email and was assured they would be delivered Monday 2/12, I then reached out to 1-800 customer number and was told for sure 2/13 and you can guess it - they have never showed up!!!

I have received 10 emails with a promise of a $20 savings pass that will never ever be used. I paid for a bouquet to bring joy to my mom as a Thank You, and she and I have received nothing but lies and empty promises. Will never ever order from 1-800 Flowers and will advise all of my friends to never order from them either. They are horrid and give nothing but empty promises.

When I called customer service the agent repeatedly asked the order number and the name. It took a long time finally to get the answer: “We will investigate further and will inform you”. Today I called again to customer service, however no one could not explain where is the order, even though it was suppose to be delivered by FEDEX.     I ordered flowers on 2/13/18 to be delivered to my girlfriend on 2/14/18. I was hesitant to order from this company as I have had multiple issues with them in the past. Because of my past experience, I was careful to read the cancellation policy prior to ordering. The policy stated that the customer cannot cancel an order once shipped or delivered. The morning of 2/14/18 I confirmed that the flowers were not delivered nor shipped, so I called to cancel the order. They would not cancel the order because "it's Valentine's Day." Then, the flowers never arrived, although they sent a bogus confirmation e-mail indicating they did arrive. How do I know it's bogus? The e-mail indicated that the flowers arrived at 5:54 p.m., although the agent I spoke with on the following day said they arrived at 2:54 p.m.

    After being hung up on several times, I finally got an agent on the phone who put me on hold, supposedly contacted the local florist shop that allegedly made the delivery (he would not provide me with the name) and said the local florist will send me a copy of the signature card confirming that my girlfriend received and signed for the flowers. To no surprise, I never received this document. Then, I e-mailed customer service who continued to respond via e-mail that they confirmed delivery. The last e-mail I received from them states they confirmed delivering the flowers to the wrong address. This company is terrible all around and the service agents are beyond inadequate.

    Sometimes misery loves company. If that's the case for you, please just read all the reviews in this thread. Some of them are very entertaining. All of them point to one thing for sure: 1-800 Flowers is a miserable failure of a company. Keep in mind, some of the very best reviews are the fake positive reviews. They're pretty obvious as I'm sure you'll see. Nobody on earth is as happy about an on-time flower delivery as some of these company puppets. Pretty sad but it helps keep things interesting as you read through the 1-800 Valentine's Day of Death timeline thread. My case was just like the billions of others: I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day. The order was never received. Customer service was horrible. Rinse, repeat. Just like all the rest. When they were delivered, they were not all red roses like my husband ordered, and they were wilted!     Every year my son sends 2 Valentine’s Day flower deliveries, one for his mother (me) and one for his grandmother (who has recently passed away but he asks that the flowers be placed at her grave). Every year the flowers are delivered with brown-edged petals that are wrinkled and worn. This year the petals of 4 flowers fell completely off leaving an inner core and a stem on each. My son lives out of state and has not seen the condition of the flowers that he is charged good money to order. Please investigate this company; they should not be taking people’s money for their service.

    I wasn't near my computer so I decided to contact 1800flowers by phone on Sunday, February 11, 2018. The 1st operator I couldn't understand what she was saying - so I told her I would hang up and call back. The 2nd operator I could understand what she was saying and I could hear other operators talking in the background. It sounded like she was to close to the mic - I asked her to lower her volume - she said she couldn't. I asked her to talk slower - she said she didn't understand - so I hung up. By this time I was able to get their website up on my phone and was completely my order online when one of their operators called me. I told her what I was ordering and she told me it wasn't available and I told her I just ordered it online! I got a confirmation email on the 1st item I ordered, but not the 2nd.

    When I called them the operator kept asking me what the order # was and I kept telling her I didn't have one because I didn't get the confirmation email! She hung up on me!! I ordered both items to be delivered today. Not a problem when I placed the order, but when I looked at their website - it states that my 2nd order won't be delivered until tomorrow (2/16). No explanation as to why. I called... Again @10:08 am (EST) and asked to talk to a supervisor. She said a supervisor was on another call, but would call me right back. I'm still waiting!!! There's nowhere to complain on their website and the "corporate" number is the same one to place orders! Dissatisfied with their phone service and online service.

    I paid a fortune to send Valentine's Day flowers to a place of business with delivery guaranteed by 5PM on 2/14. It never arrived. I called three times in the afternoon. The first agent swore it was on a truck and would be delivered on time, despite the site's own tracking system clearly showing that it wasn't. I called a second agent to cancel the order when it was clear it was not going to arrive; they said they would and that they'd need to call me back. They never did. I called back after 5PM, furious, and again they agreed to cancel the order (after much fuss), and then never sent the confirmation. The next morning I called AGAIN (fourth call) and was only offered a discount because the flowers were left in the business lobby after 7PM. It took a 40 minute phone call to get the full refund I had already been promised two times.

    Every agent lied to me about where my order was and what they could do in ways that I cannot fathom from such a large company. I was even told that my recipient signed for the flowers at 2PM, which was interesting since the recipient was my wife who stayed at work 30 minutes late and STILL didn't get the flowers. It became increasingly clear that the company was trying to stall a refund so that they could cite late-delivered flowers as a reason to not grant me one. The tactic was to promise me what I wanted (only after I refused nonsensical discounts on future orders) and then never deliver, so I'd need to explain the entire situation to another agent when I called back. Absolutely shameful practices. On the final call, I strictly stated that I would not leave the phone call without an email confirmation that I was getting a full refund, which finally occurred after 40+ minutes. (On my FOURTH phone call.)

    Keep in mind, I'd already paid a premium for guaranteed delivery by that time, essentially paying double what I would've paid by going to any regular florist for the same flowers. I understand things get busy, and would not have bothered writing a review if they simply admitted that they were slammed and could not meet their own delivery promise. Instead I was lied to over the course of multiple phone calls in a truly disgusting attempt to stall me off just long enough to avoid refunding me. I will never order from this company again under any circumstances.

    I purchased flowers ($89) on 1-800-Flowers website for Valentine's. The website notice assured me that they could be delivered on Feb 14, 2018. By 7PM the flowers had not been delivered. I contacted 1-800-Flowers and the customer service rep supposedly called the florist while they put me on hold. They assured me that the florist indicated the flowers were in route to be delivered. I asked why did I receive an email at 10AM on Feb 14 informing that my flowers were being prepared and they still had not delivered by 7PM. I asked if my flowers sat there all day. The customer service rep told me “YES!” I inquired about the guarantee if the flowers were not delivered by 8PM. I was not given a straight answer, but I emphasized that the recording when calling in said by 8PM. I told them if the order was not delivered by 8PM, I want the order to be cancelled and a refund issued.

    I was told to callback at 8PM if the flowers were not received. Oh, they tried to give me a $20 coupon for my next order. I told them to keep it because I would not be ordering again. Well, at 8PM guess what, they still had not been delivered!!! I called back and requested the order be cancelled and refunded. I also requested that they contact the florist while I was on the phone with them so that I knew they were cancelled. I was told that they do not have access to call the florist, that they can only send an email. I then asked, "Who is lying to me?" The other representative told me that they called them while I was on hold. I then requested that I speak with a supervisor that was fluent in English because I could not understand the representative.

    Of course, I was told that the supervisor was not available because he was at a meeting. Great customer service…if this was in fact true, what type of retail establishment has their supervisor in a meeting during one of the busiest times of year. Doesn’t make any sense to me. I was then told that they cannot issue a refund and since I paid via PayPal, I had to contact them to get a refund. I now have filed an escalated dispute with PayPal so that I can get a refund. This refund could take up to a week!!!

    My wife ordered an edible arraingement to be delivered to our daughter in Florida. As of 7:30 PM it had not arrived. We contacted customer non service. They said it was delivered at 6:59 PM with a signature. We went back and forth with customer non service telling them it was not delivered. They said they would investigate and assure it would be delivered the next day. It was a Valentine gift and the day after does not work. They would not discuss a refund. At 9:00 PM two young guys show up in a car to deliver the edible arrangement complete with warm fruit and chocolate that was melting. Steer clear from this scam operation.

Everyone I spoke to said it was in transit and all was well even though the website tracking said it was pending. Needless to say the flowers were never delivered. I called that night and asked to speak to the supervisor, I was told that he was super busy and would call back in 30 min - 1 hour. I never received a call. This company is committing fraud. My card was charged twice for one arrangement and flowers never received. This company is garbage, don't even bother. I can only pray they go out of business because they let a lot of people down and it appears it's a regular thing.

First phone call the rep disconnected me. The second phone call I was promised that the flowers were “out for delivery.” One hour later I phoned a third time because flowers had still not been delivered. This time, I asked to speak to a supervisor. After 35 minutes on hold I was again disconnected.     I placed an order for Valentine's Day. I received an email stating that my order was being prepared at 9:09 AM. When my order was not delivered by 7:10 PM, I attempted to resolve the issue, first with the online tracking system, and then by phone. The first gentleman that I spoke to, provided what I can only characterize as an epic failure of customer service. Instead of helping to resolve my issue, he instead chose to put the call on hold twice (the second time for more than 10 minutes) and never return to the call. Thus, wasting 32 minutes of my life. The 2nd gentleman was at least able to determine that my order would not be delivered, and refund my payment. I do not have words for how dissatisfied I am with 1-800-Flowers.com. Hopefully a better educated customer can avoid the mistake I made in doing business with 1-800-Flowers.com. Based on the other reviews that I have read, this company routinely betrays customer trust.

    I ordered flowers online for my mother, flowers not delivered. I paid 140 dollars for flowers for my mother, and they were never delivered. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with someone who wasn't able to speak English, they told me they would credit my money back. Absolutely awful.     An order for flowers was placed on Feb. 3 for delivery on Feb. 13. The item that was delivered was completely different than what was ordered. I called on Feb. 13, and after spending an hour on the phone with them, I was assured that a replacement order would be delivered on Feb. 14. That never happened. I then spent another two hours on the phone with two separate reps, and requested a refund of the order. He told me there was nothing he could do, and that a reorder would be delivered on Feb 18. The rep wanted ME to call THEM when the flowers were delivered to confirm the delivery. I told them that made no sense, they were the ones delivering them.     The worst experience ever. I made the mistake of ordering from this company for the first time (and it will be the last time). They told me that it will be delivered before 3 at my wife's job. I called them several times asking for info, and they kept telling me that the delivery was on the way. She had to wait 3 extra hours after finishing her job as they told me. I called to cancel the order because I did not place an order to have flowers delivered on February 15th, yet that’s what I was now being charged for. I was told “no” by three different people, and after spending one hour and forty minutes on the phone, the last person I was speaking to told me she was going to hang up on me and did.

    When a co-worker's mother passed away, the office collectively came together and chipped in to send her flowers. She was extremely close with her mom (she even lived with my co-worker and her three kids after being displaced by Hurricane Irma). We placed the order and was assured the flowers would be delivered same day. We received a confirmation email stating that the flowers had been delivered. In speaking with our co-worker the next day, we asked about the flowers and was informed they had NOT been delivered even though we received an email saying the opposite.

We have a grieving co-worker with no flowers from an office she thinks either forgot about her or just doesn't care.     I never received a confirmation email, so I called customer service to check up on the status of my order as it is a Valentine's Day surprise. Worst mistake of my life, after 10 minutes of explaining that I didn’t have an order number, I had to supply my name and email address, after 15 more minutes of them butchering my name and email address they finally found my order, well not my order but someone else’s order because the recipient was the wrong person!! Then they told me they could change the recipient. I said, "No! That’s a completely different person!" So I hung up. I will never order from 1800 Flowers again.     I ordered 2 dozen roses to be delivered ON Valentine’s Day and paid an extra $5 to assure this would happen. I received a notification they were coming the day before. When I called to simply enquire why, 3 different associates proceeded to repeat back my order information to me and the incorrect delivery date. Each of them put me on a hold when I asked me my original question again and when they returned, they once again repeated my order information. When they were delivered, naturally I did not trust they’d be in the correct place so I called to confirm they went to the office building requested.

    Again the customer service rep repeated back my order when I simply asked for him to confirm the address it was delivered to. I kindly asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold for 15 minutes without him checking back in with me and eventually the call was disconnected. Fortunately for them they were delivered but at least 3 of the roses were already noticeably dying. This has been the worst experience I’ve EVER had with a company. I NEVER leave reviews. They ruined my Valentine's Day set up for the woman I love more than anything and that’s unforgivable and I am severely disappointed.

    1-800-Flowers.com, you really need to considered paying more money for quality customer service reps that care for the customers. I’ve had many experiences with customer service for many different companies and you’re by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. And the delay in your phone system causes many issues for your employees and customers. I’m just so utterly disappointed and I do not recommend this company. It’s worth it to find a florist with personal touch who cares about you and your experience and paying some extra $$$.     TERRIBLE! This is the worse experience of my life when it comes to placing a order! I placed a order at 11 am for Kaleidoscope roses. I was told by the rep they would be delivered on the same day which was a day before Valentine’s Day which was fine with me. I later called them back because the end of the day was coming just to find out that the flowers couldn’t be delivered until next Tuesday.

    They never called me to tell me I had to call them. I stayed on the phone for 4 hours talking to several different reps and offered several offers and when I was offered the best offer I was hung up on, no big deal I guess because I was hung up on 4 times from the terrible company. So when I finally get someone on the phone on the 6th call I’m told they can’t offer me the same offer as the previous rep said.     I was charged $105.00 for additional flowers I did NOT ORDER! The original order of flowers $94.49 came with an email and receipt, but the next day when I looked at my bank statement I was charged an additional $105.34 with NO email and NO receipt, proving that I ordered it--which I DIDN'T. I phoned back and spoke to a supervisor and reported it and asked for a refund. He told me it was just an authorization and will fall off in 24 hours. I said it has been 24 hours... When ordering you see a full flowering plant and when delivered there were 4 buds and you could see the roots.     I ordered flowers for a friend. They were damaged during transit. This was not communicated to me. After 2 days of no delivery notification, I contacted 1-800-Flowers and was told it was damaged. I then re-ordered and after about an hour of waiting on hold for a manager, I was disconnected. After 3 more calls, and on to another day... I finally was able to speak to a manager. She had to reach her manager. Then they promised me a 50% discount. The order was delivered, but 2 orders of the flowers came.

    I spent 90 minutes on a call (after being disconnected once) with people who really don't understand English. Not just a little bit. But even the letters, when I would attach to a word to associate with it, I was asked to please slow down. I was already talking slowly. It was very frustrating. When I finally spoke to a manager- they don't know if I would be charged twice. I am to just wait and see. HORRIBLE company! I will NEVER use them again! Good Luck!

    My order was placed 2/2/18. They entered the incorrect date to be delivered 20 days later to a visitation and funeral service??? Received phone call on Sunday from a rep stating that they called the funeral home and the date was incorrect. Was assured that it would be fixed and the flowers would be delivered. Called 1 hour later and still not delivered. Rep said they would handle it and would call me back personally. NOT. Called a 3rd time and was told there was no record of the previous call. This new rep, Jerry, said that it was now too late and that the preferred shops they use were closed. Discussed that Hy-Vee will deliver and he was to call and arrange for a delivery and said he would personally call back. Another broken promise. Not taking any chances at this point, I called Hy-Vee myself at 3:00 pm and they had the flowers delivered in 35 minutes no thanks to your company. No one called me back AGAIN.

    So not only were the flowers ordered from 1-800-Flowers.com not delivered for the visitation, they did not arrive for the Funeral today, Monday. I called again and was told that the order was canceled (not by me). I was told by your agent that she would be issuing a credit to my account. Asked her why if the order was canceled would I be charged anything? She was unable to answer me. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told there was no one available. This rep then put me on hold and after 5 minutes the line went dead.

    I contacted the company thru their website to let them know the situation with the delivery AND their "customer support" personnel. They "escalated" my concern to top mgmt... I received a form letter, supposedly from the owner, of the company saying "What can I say, except Im (sic) sorry". He attached a $20 off certificate for future orders. (Like I would EVER give them more of my money). It is very easy to see why they have the customer service department that they do with the kind of leadership (lack of) that they have.

    AVOID!!! I ordered online, early in the day, for same-day delivery. Like most flower orders, time was of the essence. I paid a premium for delivery between 3 and 6:00 pm. Nearing 6:00 pm and no delivery, I sent a message via their website. No immediate response. I called their 800 "customer service" number. Wow. No words. I talked to a woman named "Nel" (zero chance that was her name) who told me she could not help me because another agent was looking into my account, based on my web-inquiry. She was not allowed to tell me who it was, what he or she was doing, or when they would respond. For "security reasons." What?! Like I am going to fly to Asia and assault someone???

    I tried again around 7:00, spoke to a man who insisted on calling me "ma'am" several times, despite that my voice is considerably deeper than his. Anyway, after five minutes on hold, he was "pleased" to tell me he had identified the problem, and that they could deliver the flowers tomorrow "for no additional charge!" Thanks!! They to say they attempted a delivery. Yeah, right. I don't see how a company so clueless stays in business. Suckers like me, I guess... I asked for a cancelation (even after he offered me a COUPON!), which I eventually got. What a total waste. Never, EVER, use this service.

    I ordered flowers for an out of state family funeral on Tues evening and asked if they could be delivered by 10 the following day. The order taker assured me they would. I called the next morning and the flowers were not able to be assembled or delivered to the funeral time so the order was cancelled and I was told my account would not be charged. The following day, the charge posted to my bank account! I called 1-800-Flowers.com to ask for my money back. They lied and said that had already been issued. I will never use this company again and certainly advise anyone else not to use them unless it is business hours and the order can be verified at a local florist. Shame on 1-800-Flowers!

    Ordered flowers online for my mom's 70th birthday. Scheduled to be delivered on Sat. Get email, making flowers... email flowers are delivered. I think yeah... Nope Never hear from my mom. Call her in the morning to see how she likes her flowers and she never received them. Call customer service they say they were left at door, even though someone was home all day. They will contact florist and have them redeliver. Never hear back. Except from my mom who still did not receive her flowers. Call Monday same thing will have them redeliver, still no flowers. We are now 4 days and 7 phone calls later, and now they say there is no florist available to deliver.

    Really in a mid size city in California there is no florist who can deliver a flower arrangement. I guess I am lucky at least I got a refund. Worst customer service ever! Everything is read off a script. Their answer is to offer a $20 savings on a future order and call and apologize to the recipient. How does that help? Talked to 2 different supervisors even. No one really wants to help, but they want you to give them a 5 star for their customer service. Will never consider ordering from again.

    On January 17 ordered an expensive Harry and David grand basket for the funeral of the mother of one of our employees. It did not arrive until January 25th, long after the funeral and burial and all out of town guests were gone.     The flowers delivered were not as pictured. I paid extra for a fuller vase arrangement of assorted flowers. The flowers delivered were 60% flowers and mostly greens. Luckily I was able to see the delivered product in person. I then spent nearly TWO HOURS on 2 separate calls with 1800FLowers operators who first said they could not redeliver what I ordered because the local florist said they didn't have the flowers (these were basic everyday flowers). My mother was now in the hospital so they could not deliver to the hospital. They said they would deliver to my house. Then I got an email (lucky I saw it) and had to call them back only to deal with another operator who quite frankly was hard to understand just as the first operator.

    After putting me on hold several times, she took my own address and said they would send 2 dozen roses in a box (not what I ordered to be replaced) to my house. I found out that the order went to my mother's house (who was not home as she was in the hospital) and sat there for more than 8 hours and were addressed in my name but her address. The roses lasted 3 days before they drooped and died very quickly. I vowed after this experience (because ProFlowers gave me the same experience years ago when a friend called to tell me to get my money back because her flowers were wilted and brown) that I will NEVER send flowers to anyone for the rest of my life. They will get cards, maybe something nonperishable but I am done with floral deliveries. You have been cautioned. This is not a one time occurrence.

    Their flowers were laid on top of two live plants on my porch. They could have laid the box on up against the storm door, the wall of the porch, the rails around the porch, or on the large dead plant directly beside the two large plants. When I called they said that it wasn't their problem. They offered no resolution, they just passed the buck saying to contact the delivery company. They didn't even offer to contact the delivery company themselves, they just passed the buck. These plants were rare and expensive and I have kept them alive for two years. There is only one outlet that I know of that has them and the shipping charges from the West Coast (I am on the East Coast) was $25. This was a gift for my birthday and they have ruined it.

    I am currently stationed in South Korea and my husband's grandfather passed away in the states. Since we could not go to the funeral we decided to send some flowers to the Church that he was buried. The funeral was on 13 January 2018 and I ordered flowers on 12 January 2018. I received an email from 1-800-Flowers stating that they were trying to get in contact with me, which I gave them the phone number of my mother in-law, due to us being stationed overseas and they would not be able to get in touch with us.

    I phoned my mother in-law and asked her if anybody called her. She stated no. I advised her to contact 1-800-Flowers to see if they needed more information. She called them and they stated that the address I provided they weren't able to deliver to and if they could just deliver it to my mother in-law. No problem, 1-800-Flowers said they would make sure that it will be delivered on the morning of the funeral, which was on 13 January 2018. Come Saturday still no flowers, my mother in-law called again and inquired about the status, they replied that they were really sorry but would deliver on Tuesday 16 January 2018 and would also send a gift basket and would give me a 20 dollar coupon. Ok, great as long as we get it, conversation was done.

    With all that being said, my mother in-law still does not have any flowers nor the gift basket. I do have a lots of patience and understand things happen but after calling twice and still no results it is very upsetting.     Ordered a large funeral basket for a close friend service. Ordered on Friday for service on Monday morning. I receive an email at 2:00 pm Saturday saying they were unable to deliver the basket. Why I do not know no reasonable explanation. They assured me it would be delivered by 10 am on Monday. The service at 11 am... OK. I arrive at 10:30 no flower.     I'll keep my review short. But bottom line, this company just basically sometimes delivers, sometimes it doesn't. I am not sure why I've kept using it. I think it's because their website is good. But Never again. At least twice orders just weren't delivered in Carpinteria CA, and multiple times in Canada. Essentially they place the orders with local florists, but if those local florists don't have the flowers or just don't deliver, they just don't follow up. They don't check. They don't call you. They don't notify anyone. They also farm out customer service to other countries, so you get people that barely speak English trying to help you. I have never written a review like this. I'm not a complainer. But this just was (again) a terrible experience. I hope they fix this systemic problem.

    I am so upset with 1800flowers. I placed a order for my fiancé's family Christmas party. I do most of my shopping online. This was not delivered on the day they said it would. I called on Christmas Eve and spoke with a customer service representative and she assured me it would be delivered that day and if no one was home it would be left on the porch. Needless to say the entire holiday went by and it was never delivered.

    It is now the day after Christmas and I contacted them. They would not and could not explain why it was never delivered.     So my husband decided to surprise me for my birthday and send some flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and a balloon to my job, but it was a disaster. Not only did he pay for expedited delivery which cost him more out of pocket money, but he was told the flowers will get to my work place before I left work. So on my birthday I only received my chocolate covered strawberries, no flowers and no balloons.     Ordered flower arrangement for delivery on December 20, 2017 to a funeral home. After getting a text that the order had been filled and I will be notified when the flowers are delivered, I received no more texts. I had to track down what happened. The online tracking system was terrible. Gave no details whether it was delivered or not. Not useful. I had to call and get a person. They said it hadn’t been delivered. Very upsetting. Got a $20 gift card for my troubles. Have heard people are having trouble with 1-800-Flowers now.

    I ordered my annual flower delivery to my elderly parents and their single friend on Dec 21, 2017 for deliver on 12/22. I had just gotten back from an overseas trip and had the flu so the best I could do this year was to "say it with Flowers". I got a phone message from them on 12/22 saying they had to make some changes to make the deliver and "if I would like to call I could". I assumed no contact would leave as-is with the changes but the delivery would be made. I then got another call later in the day which I picked up but no one was there. I then got an email to call them which I did. The person on the helpline said the order was "locked" and he couldn't look at the details but that he would call back once open.

    On 12/23 I CALLED THEM because as expected that man didn't call me back. They told me there was a problem but they would get the deliveries completed today (12/23). My mum called about 2 hours ago saying her elderly friend got her flowers but my parents hadn't received theirs (I purchased the most expensive Xmas bouquet available). I called AGAIN and another man "Marcus" said he would check and after 10 minutes on hold told me they would have to be rescheduled for AFTER Christmas. I told them to cancel the order and gave them a piece of my mind but as usual they take your money in 5 minutes but the refund will take 7 to 14 days!!! I find this such a scam.

    1-800 Flowers has lost all my business and I will be making sure everyone knows - they don't show any compassion and leave it up to consumer to do all the work. I made sure that they sent me an email documenting the refund because I don't put it past them to deliver the flowers the day after Christmas and then make me go through the refund process again. They kept telling me I would get an email in 24 to 48 hours on the refund but I got a supervisor because I don't trust their follow up at all. Finally - I ordered flowers to be delivered tomorrow (Xmas Eve) from another company at additional cost to me for late delivery. I can't tell you how pissed I am.
