The comparison of the photo on their website to the actual product delivered is laughable. Huge ripoff. I will NEVER use them again. Embarrassing that they would ship roses that are so small and not even close to blooming.

Rip off extraordinaire. I got these flowers on Thursday for my birthday, I am sure they cost every bit of $40. I guarantee you I could go down to any grocery store and buy the same same bouquet for less than 10 bucks and it would last two weeks. I can and have gotten it for $3.99 at Trader Joe’s and had them last two weeks. And then I see the average review for 1-800-Flowers is a 1.1, WTF!

We ordered flowers after a relative had surgery. They were to be delivered the day after surgery. They never came. We didn’t get a text or email saying they could not deliver. When we called and spent 33 minutes on the phone they said the local florist did not have the right address. But the address 1800Flowers had was correct. And it is the local hospital! They are now delivering the flowers 3 days late. They are sending a 20 dollar next order discount but I won’t use them again. We were embarrassed our flowers did not get to our close relative and upset we never heard from 1800Flowers. Poor service.

Ordered online a flower basket for my dear friend mom's funeral. 2 days later they tried to call and sent me email about the product was not available and suggested replacement of a small plant. I called and talked to them for almost 2 hrs waiting for them to research and found out what really happened. Was told the order was processed with wrong product and delivery date and no way to cancel it and would be delivered as scheduled. Since it was their fault they reinsured a replacement order for the right product and delivery date. Checked with my friend and didn’t receive the so called wrong product. The day before the replacement order I called to make sure it would be delivered and was told the flower basket would be delivered on schedule.
On the next day an email saying attempted to deliver the flower but with some issue and they will try again. Since I was wary about it so I contacted them. Sure enough the order was canceled without any notice to me. But was offered to send it out four days later. Are you kidding me? The service is not going to wait for this. Was offered a full refund. It is so disappointed and embarrassed to tell my friend that there will be no flower to be delivered. Had used them a few times in the past. Didn’t even cross my mind to check the reviews until my terrible experience with them. Never ever again.

Do NOT order a plant from this company!! I ordered a medium Gardenia plant for my mother’s birthday. In the photo, it is full, Green, blooming white flowers. What was delivered was scrawny, stick-like, not a single bloom. It looks nothing like the photo online, except for the pot it is in. I understand that for the convenience of having something delivered in another state, there will be an upcharge - but for $50-$75 - I expect quality! So disappointed. There is no place on their website to leave comments to warn others. I would love to post pictures. No one would believe it!

I ordered flowers for my wife on Valentine's Day 174.00. By day end she did not get them. She was available 100% of the time to get them. After calling customer service they said they were delivered. After arguing with them they agreed to resend them the next day. Well to our surprise they were not delivered. Calling customer NO SERVICE again they told me that since it was the weekend they couldn't get them out until Monday, That was not an option at this point the holiday was over and the day ruined. I was then told I would get a full refund and it would be posted in 7 to 10 days. It has been over 30 days now and no refund. I guess they figure I won't follow up and they will keep the 174.00. I am guessing this must happen often. Please don't get taken by this company. There are plenty of others to go with. Lost customer for life.

Order process is simple and transparent. Offers a fairly large variety and selection of flowers and combinations of gifts plus flowers. Delivery is ALWAYS exactly on time... Never missed. Flower recipients have always been extremely pleased with the flower quality, beauty, and appearance. When ordered, the vases were always gorgeous and impressive, while helping to display the flowers in a beautiful way. 1-800-Flowers is my go to source whenever I want top quality with fine and dependable delivery. The prices are comparable to others. Discounts and sales are available from time to time, so there are also money-savings from time to time as well. Given all the positives, this company is well worth doing business with.

Downloaded the app and ordered flowers right away. Ordered two arrangements in a week. First one arrived, nothing like the picture but doable. Ordered second arrangement, absolutely not like picture, missing some basic flowers and very sloppy work. Complained online, another arrangement arrived today, again nothing like the picture at all, the flowers are brown and wilting. Florist took first arrangement back. I understand they contract out to local florists, and some of the flowers will not be available. But wow! Not at all worth what I paid and very poor customer service. I would have done better getting flowers at the grocery store by the checkout stands. Deleted app. I really wanted to like this company. Ordered an arrangement from FTD online, got exactly what was in the picture for less money. Stay away from 1-800-Flowers!

I ordered a $200.00 standing spray for my father's funeral. I showed up at the mortuary at 10:00. No flowers. We called. 1-800-Flowers contacted the florist. Flowers were on the way. Service was at 11:00. No flowers. I finally received a text saying the flowers had been delivered. AT 1:00. While we were at the cemetery. I called the mortuary. They said the flowers weren't delivered. I called 1-800-Flowers again. I was told the flowers were delivered at 9:15. I was at the mortuary at 10:00. There were no flowers and only one receptionist who said there was no flower delivery. I called 1-800-Flowers again.
I was told the flowers were delivered. The person on the phone would not even call the florist to see if the driver accidentally delivered the flowers to the wrong location, which I would totally understand. No, "I was wrong". "The flowers were delivered". I was out $200.00, my father's funeral did not have flowers from his daughter and did not even receive an apology. I have been a very loyal customer up until now. If anyone doubts this is a real review, my order number is: Order #: **.

Ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife at her work on her birthday. The site indicated that they would be delivered ON her birthday during business hours. They never came. How can they screw something like this up. They had one job to do. If they weren't going to be able to do it, they should have told me. I would have made other arrangements. It is more EVIL to agree to do a job and not do it than to simple tell me they can't do it in the first place. I attempted to get a refund using their online system and the agent told me that he could only refund part of my order because a different department handled the other part so I would have to call their 1-800 number and wait in the queue. If you sell it online, then support it online. I will NEVER use 1-800-Flowers again.

I ordered an $85 bouquet of roses from 1-800-Flowers for my injured mom to lift her spirits five days ago. They were never delivered but of course they charged me. I called the company yesterday to see what is going on. The lady that answered was clearly in India and I am not exaggerating in any way... She sounded like she was at a party. It was so loud with yelling, laughing and music in the background I couldn't even hear her let alone try to understand her. She was like "Oh sorry for the noise". I told her I couldn't have a conversation with her with that racket and she muted me. When she came back it was less loud but still lots of noise. She was clearly not in a professional setting.
I asked about my delivery and was told they would be in Northern Maine by 6:00 pm when it was currently 4:30 pm and tracking says they were in Tennessee! I told her this was impossible but she would not listen to logic that the flowers weren't going to travel 2500 miles and get delivered in two hours. She assured me if they weren't there by 6:00 I would get a refund. Lo and behold at 8:00 pm I called back... They were not delivered (shocker). I was told they will be there by 4:00 p.m. today! Mind you it's now 8 p.m. Made no sense. I told the rep to cancel my order as I am not paying $85 for five day old roses which don't live long to begin with and now I was really questioning the validity of this company.
He ignored me and offered a $20 credit on my next order. I told him I'm never using this company again and to process my refund. He just kept repeating himself about a credit on a future order and ignoring my cancellation request. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold. After an hour on hold I was enraged. I hung up and put in a claim with PayPal. These people are a total scam. After reading all the reviews I'm shocked they are still in business as they are stealing people's money. NEVER USE THEM!

They should be sending me flowers in sympathy...for their terrible service! I ordered a $100 arrangement to be sent to a family member's funeral, ordered prior to the 2 pm cutoff time specified & paid the additional charge for same day delivery. I provided my cell # for delivery confirmation. Not only were the flowers not delivered, when I called, customer service told me that they would be delivered until Monday at 10 am when the funeral service was to begin. Their excuse for not delivering as promised was that it was a Saturday & I should have had my order in prior to 12 instead of 2 pm as the website states. I should have known that how? When I requested delivery by 9 am when the family was due to arrive at the funeral home, I was promised that delivery had to be before 10...nothing again! Called the funeral home later in the day & was told nothing ever arrived.
The funeral home told me this OFTEN happens with 1-800-Flowers, that sometimes flowers arrive DAYS later! To top it off, when I called for a refund, they offered to deliver to the person's house. TOO LATE! They told me my only option would be to receive a gift card. WRONG -- why would I EVER want to deal with this company again?!? The only redeeming factor was the person, Amanda, in Guest Loyalty (I find it hard to believe they have any loyal customers) really went to bat for me. The original gift card is being reinstated & now I have to request a refund from Discover, where I purchased the gift card in the first place. Too much ado for nothing! I will make a contribution to charity like I normally do & take the tax deduction.

Wednesday - They didn't arrive. 1 hour phone call that night. Was told the florist "couldn't source the flowers" and rejected the order ON MONDAY!! So why did 1-800 Flowers not take action on Monday?
Thursday - They didn't arrive. Another 1 hour phone call promising to deliver on Friday. Friday - They didn't arrive. Saturday I called and was told they don't deliver on Saturday or Sunday and that it would arrive on Monday. Monday - They didn't arrive. I called and was told they couldn't source the flower but would guarantee Tuesday Delivery.
It is important to note that on the website it states that "Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner.." So why weren't substitutions made? Each call to them was 1+ hours long. And the CS agents were completely incompetent to the point I would call and request a manager as my first words out of my mouth. They sent me a $20 gift card to be used on my next purchase. Like THAT would ever happen!!! NOT!!
The occasion was time sensitive, and so 8 days later just didn't send the message. Why do I have to call everyday and find out there is an issue with the order? THEY should be fixing that immediately when they are notified. The area where the bouquet was delivered was Westlake, Agoura Hills, Calabasas. High end ritzy area with PLENTY of florists. It is my guess that the actual florists themselves do not want to work with 1-800 flowers because of their broken processes. So if it is for a special occasion and it must arrive on that day and you don't want to call every day wondering what excuse and promise you will receive DO NOT USE THEM! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. I ordered the Wolferman's Signature Muffins (customize a 12 pack) plus 3 spreads to be sent to a friend grieving the loss of her mother. I was told they would arrive the next day but by the second day they had not arrived. I was so embarrassed that my package did not get to my friend. I called and was told they were in transit. By 5 PM a package of only 2 (not 12 like I paid for) came. They were the only two flavors I did not pick! Plus - no spreads which were an additional $22.
I called again and spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to get the correct order sent and trying to speak to a supervisor but to no avail. I gave up and told them to refund me because this was now not worth the effort. Bottom line - you can expect that you will pay for something that will not arrive on time or even close to what you paid for. It's a scam.

Our son ordered a Valentine's Day gift for us that was a vase of flowers called "Fields of Europe Romance: XL-8'', prod id: 148245XL" from 1-800-Flowers. The flowers were arrived in the evening of Feb. 15, 2019. It was very beautiful. We were delighted and touched so very much. But immediately we smelled the flowers with very bad smells. We couldn't stay with the flowers closely for a few minutes, eventually the smells went everywhere. We don't know what it was. We tried to pick the flowers smelled ugly out but we found everyone smelled same. The ugly smells filled the place where we put.
We live at Georgia. The flowers were a Valentine's gift from our son in California, every time we see his gift being like seeing him. This was first time he ordered gift from 1-800-Flowers. The smells of the flowers made us sick. For keeping the flowers we put the flowers into a big plastic bag, even though, the plastic bag wasn't clear. We didn't also want our son to know about the smells of the flowers, that will embarrass him so we never told him even when we thanked him over the phone call. We were very sorry for him. Next day, I called 1-800-Flowers. The customer representative picked the call. She said that they can send another flowers to us, or refund but only the person (our son) made the order gives them a call. I also talked with the manager who said only they can do is to send another flowers to us.
I said: "No, I don't want another flowers since the Valentine's day is over. If you can send the flowers to my son will be better, but I don't want my son to know this because the flower's smells sent by him. I don't also want him to call you." The manager said that they can send a flowers to him with the note of thanks order, but finally he said they can't do that. I also asked the manager to take the flowers back for an exam, therefore, this will not happen to other customers. Of course, nothing was happened. We kept the flowers in the plastic bag for a week at home. I don't complain the customer representative and the manager. The three stars marked above are for them. The flowers are negative quality, 0 star is for the store or person which or who prepared the flowers.

I kept my eye on email waiting for the delivery confirmation but it didn't come. I sent 1800 Flowers an email and received a response that they had a problem delivering the flowers. What problem? They gave no explanation why the flowers weren't delivered. I checked again this morning and nothing, no email, no delivery notification, nothing. Those did not show up at all. Complained again and was told roses were on the way. Guess what? No roses. Complain again and get told more roses are on the way. Had a bamboo plant delivered. One of the stalks was already yellow at delivery and 6 days later it was on its way to dead. Another stem started turning yellow as well.
When I called to complain they tried again to give me a replacement, I wanted a refund. They finally agreed to refund my money. They only refunded half. I have spoken to customer service multiple times and each time they say they will refund it completely, yet I still have not seen it. DO NOT use this company! For my mother’s 70th birthday I ordered two cakes (>$100) that were suuuper tiny, box of cookies ($50) and a supreme gift basket of chocolates (>$115). The basket came with 1/3 the amount of product and was filled with random things instead of what was in the description. I am devastated. Someone had to consciously look at my order, fill it with crap and send it on anyway. Who does that? When I called they said I could pick between a refund and a replacement but the replacement wouldn’t make it in time for the party. A refund was not enough in this case.
They knew what they were doing when they built the basket and sent it to me. A refund would be expected!! This greatly impacted my Mother’s party because it put me in a bind to scramble to get something else for the guests. The best they could do was refund me for a product they knew wasn’t right when they sent it. It’s almost criminal if we weren’t talking about candy. On top of it all the food is garbage. February 18th, 2019, I decided to give 1-800-Flowers.com a try. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend who was working at the time with same-day delivery of a bouquet of red roses to her place of employment. I should have known from the beginning that this organization was filled with incompetence and a lack of common sense. The woman taking my order took at least 25 minutes to gather information so basic as my email, my full name, place where the flowers were being delivered to, the name of the recipient etc... Nearing the brink of pulling my hair out, the customer service representative assured me that the flowers would be delivered between 9:00 am-5:00 pm, she said when the flowers were delivered I would receive a confirmation code to my email. 5:00 pm came and went, no notification.
I called, she said that there was nothing she could do and asked if I wanted the flowers delivered in the morning. I told her that was completely moronic and defeated the purpose of surprising my girlfriend with flowers and a lovely note that day; not the next day when she would not be working. Needless to say, I demanded my money back. I spoke with a Mark (ID number **) on the 18th and he said the money would be refunded to my account with 24-48 hrs.
I checked my account today 02/21/19, no money. I called this pathetic excuse for a company back and spoke with a woman who claimed to be "Denise". She told me that the information Mark (the Supervisor) had given me was false, and that it would take 1-2 billing cycles for the money to return to the account. So I could potentially be waiting over 2 months for my money to be back in my account; like the rest of us I have bills to pay and simply cannot wait that long to receive my money back, not only that, I was told different things by different people; that is a clear sign of a dilapidated, failing company. When I called for the second time the guy told me that the original replacement hadn’t been mailed because that particular arrangement wasn’t available anymore. (Excuse me? I was angry at this point.) I told the customer service guy that their lack of same product is not my fault nor an acceptable reason to not replace my vase because I didn’t have a vase and my flowers looked like ** in the plastic jug they were in for everyone to see. I refused to go buy a new one because my boyfriend has already paid for a vase!
Anyways. This guy confirmed a delivery date on the new comparable order. I would not order from them. Please support local businesses. By the time I got home at approximately 4:30 PM, I was still waiting and checking my email frequently. Finally, at 6:46 PM, we received both an email and text notification that it had been delivered. I immediately went out to check to see if a delivery person was outside my aunt's condo or in the parking lot as we live in a condo association with our condo adjacent to my aunt's condo. Nobody and nothing was either outside or inside of her door, and no delivery vehicle was in the parking lot.
I then called customer support, and explained this to them; the first time I was told that someone named "Henry" signed for the package (we know nobody named Henry) and was hung up on after being put on hold. The second time, I was told that I would be called back with an update on the situation; the lady also told me that she would call my Aunt and apologize for not receiving her flowers, but my Aunt never got a call. The third time we received a call and got disconnected; I called back and waited on hold for approx. 15 minutes, and once I got a hold of someone, had to explain the entire story again, only to be told they would call us back with an update. My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with flowers on Valentines Day. He ordered flowers to be delivered to my office on the 14th but my flowers never arrived, matter fact the flowers were never sent. My boyfriend ordered 2 dozen roses with a white clear vase and payed extra to have them delivered on the 14th but to his surprise they took his money and never shipped out any flowers.
After leaving work my boyfriend contacted 1800 flowers very upset because my surprise never arrived. The customer service rep told him the flowers were sent out and Fed ex had them so because they shipped it out there was nothing they could do, not even a refund because they had done "their part of the job" which is sent out the flowers. So my boyfriend then contacted Fed ex and complained about the flowers never arriving, Fed ex said they couldn't find his order but they were nice enough to check on any updates and give us a call back. After 10 min or so Fed ex called back and explains to my boyfriend that a label was made but 1800 flowers NEVER even sent the flowers...??? Excuse me what??? After being told that we were mad and upset, they basically stole from us, they never sent out the flowers to begin with and even then they still wouldn't give him a refund.
My boyfriend once again called 1800 flowers and demanded for a refund after they had lied to him about sending the flowers out when in reality they didn't and they told him they couldn't refund him the money because the day wasn't over but it was for me, my work place closes at 4 pm. It was already 6 pm. Even if they still tried to send them out no one will be there, so we refused for them to re deliver, they said they can re try to send the flowers tomorrow or the weekend but we refused again as the delivery was suppose to be for valentines day not the weekend. After 1 hr on the phone the customer service rep agreed to give him a refund and put him on hold, 5 min later she hung up.
Angry and annoyed he called back and another customer service rep answered, he explained the situation once again and she denied him a refund saying she needed a managers approval to give a refund and since her manager wasn't there he needed to call back tomorrow morning...? So how come the first and second lady he spoke to didn't mention anything about a managers approval??? It was pretty simple. My boyfriend ordered Flowers and they never arrived? So why does that need managers approval? when they clearly didn't do their job. After speaking to three customer service reps and receiving no help at all my boyfriend was fed up and contacted his banker, that was the only way we were able to receive help. Please don't waste your time ordering anything from here. They're quick to take your money.

I wish I could put less than 1 star for a review. Here's a story of my Valentine's day experience with this crappy business: My GF is a school teacher - schools close at around 3ish. 1-800-Flowers.com has an option for a delivery location to residential, school, etc. - So I chose school because it's a ** school. 2:30 comes she still doesnt have flowers - call up customer support and they say "We make deliveries to 8 pm tonight". I respond with "Excuse me, what school do you know that's open to 8 pm at night". He responds with " I don't know any". So I say "Why dont you guys do schools and businesses first since they probably dont stay open till 8 pm". He responds "That's a good idea" - like no one ** thought this through.
Long story short - spent $150 on flowers and they are going to get delivered to a closed school. After all this I had to argue with customer support to get a full refund ON A PRODUCT I NEVER RECEIVED. After convincing them to give me a full refund I was promised a refund on 2/15 as well as a replacement delivery order in which the customer service rep took my new address (because I had to explain to him how embarrassing it is to receive Valentine's day flowers at your place or work...DAYS AFTER VALENTINE'S DAY.) It is now 2/18 - I have not gotten my refund and apparently this business is telling me that a replacement order was never placed. The service was honestly laughable... And I really hope no one ever gets stuck using this ** load of a business - please do yourself a favor.

Ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my mother, wife and daughter on 2/13. Mother and wife received theirs without an issue. My daughter didn't receive them. Went back and tracked her order. Not even shipped! No contact from the company for an alternate gift. I emailed their customer service the day AFTER Valentine's Day and their agent wrote back: "Good news! Our records show that your gift will be delivered very soon. As soon as we receive a delivery confirmation, you'll receive an e-mail notification from us." Good thing I wasn't sending flowers to a funeral! Never use 1-800-Flowers again!

I placed an order 10 days in advance to have flowers delivered to my wife (who suffers from MS) for Valentine's Day. To be safe, I requested delivery a day early as I figured Valentine's Day itself would be very busy and they might not make it. Well, the order came a day early, but was incomplete. It was nothing more than a dozen red roses. I ordered 2 dozen roses, with a gem vase, and chocolates. I immediately called them and the agent I spoke with assured me he would be resending the order and it would arrive on the 14th, 15th at the latest. Ok, maybe the rest would show up on the key day, maybe one day later.
Well, the morning of the 16th they still had not shown up. I left a horrible review for the agent that promised me the redelivery as I felt I was lied to. The next morning, day 4, and still no flowers, I receive a call from them about the review. I told them I did not appreciate being lied to like that, and that 4 days after I should have had my order, I still did not have what I ordered. I asked for a full refund and was told I could make a selection of something else and they would have a local florist deliver.
I declined, letting them know the special day was destroyed and that I wanted a full refund. She reluctantly conceded and told me she would process a full refund. Well, I received an email for the refund, however, 25% of the full amount can only be used on a purchase from them in the next 30 days. Only 75% of what I paid them was returned to me for something that was their error. I will never use them again, as I do not want to go through this again just to get my remaining 25%. They blew my order, and lied to me twice. 3 strikes, they are OUT! Buyer beware - they do not live up to their word.

I ordered roses from this company on Monday 2/11/19 to be delivered to my wife's office in Manhattan for Valentine's Day on Thursday 2/14/19. The total amount that I paid with my credit card was $99.03 including a $4 extra charge on top of the regular service/delivery charge because it was being delivered on Valentine's Day. I received an email confirmation on Wednesday night 2/13/19 around 7 pm Eastern time stating that my flowers were delivered to her office. I found this email really strange and odd and began to worry about my delivery.
My wife works from 9 am to 5 pm so there was no way that she could have received the flowers on Wednesday night especially when she was already home by 7 pm. There is also the fact that I paid $99.03 including the $4 extra charge to have the roses specifically delivered on 2/14, not 2/13. Who in their right mind would want Valentine's Day flowers delivered on 2/13 especially if it was not specifically requested by the customer??? That is not what I paid for. I could have personally delivered the flowers myself on 2/13/19 if that was the case.
I waited until Valentine's Day 2/14/19 and logged onto my account at 1-800-Flowers.com and checked my order status and it said delivery was in fact made on 2/13/19! I have used online flower companies in the past and when the delivery was made my wife would always send me photo text of the flowers thanking me for the delivery. It was already 11 am Eastern time on 2/14 and I didn't hear from my wife so I called her to ask her if she received any flowers especially when I received both email and online confirmation that the flowers were delivered on 2/13/19.
This alone has caused me great embarrassment that I had to ask my wife if she received my Valentine's Day flowers and instead it should have been a really nice surprise delivery to her office that this company failed to do. I was going to call customer service in regards to the wrong delivery date, but when my wife told that she "DID NOT RECEIVE" the flowers that I paid for I immediately stopped what I was doing at work and called the customer service number to find out what happened. This is where it all went downhill.
I spoke to someone named Aries and told him my two problems. That my wife did not receive her flowers even though there was an email confirmation along with the confirmation on my online account order status stating that the flowers were delivered on 2/13/19. The second problem I asked him was who authorized the flowers to be delivered on 2/13?? That totally defeats the purpose of sending Valentine's Days flowers. It makes absolutely no sense to have Valentine's Day flowers to be delivered on 2/13 or 2/15. I also found it ridiculous to tack on an extra $4 to have Valentine's Day flowers delivered on Valentine's Day. Your job is to deliver flowers regardless of date because you are an online flower company!!!
I was put on hold numerous times and I asked to speak to a supervisor which he responded there was no supervisor available. He claimed to have called the local florist and claimed there was a mix up with the delivery and the work address was wrong even though there was an email confirmation that delivery was made on 2/13/19. He told me that the local florist will redeliver today 2/14/19 and for me to wait until 5 pm since my wife's work was a business location. At around 4:25 pm I called customer service a second time after waiting all day and confirming with my wife that the flowers had not yet been delivered to her office and spoke to someone named Raina and she said that the re-delivery by the local florist has not been delivered yet. I told her my wife leaves work at 5 pm and how extremely embarrassed and disappointed I am with this whole situation and that your company was about my ruin my Valentine's Day.
Raina told me wait until 5 pm because that is their delivery time for businesses and to call back after 5 pm if the delivery was not made and there would be "options" for me. She also told me that she can't call the local florist to check that status because they were too busy!?!? I picked up my wife from work at 5 pm and of course no flowers were delivered to her office (Why would flowers be delivered on 2/14 after paying $99.03, that is obviously way too much to ask an online flower company to do). We already booked dinner reservations and I was not about the ruin my dinner arguing with customer service again so I waited until I returned home after dinner to call customer service for a third time.
I spoke to another customer service person, and told him my problems and disappointment with the company. I asked to speak to a supervisor and again was told there was no supervisor available. I found that to be really poor customer service to never have a supervisor available when a customer requests to speak to one. This is not how you run a business. I also asked for a full refund for my failed delivery and was told that he was not able to process my refund. He asked for my phone number and told me that he will need to investigate and to keep my phone line open because he will call me back to give me an update. It's very simple. My flowers were not delivered and I want a full refund. He treated this like a crime scene that he needs to "investigate" and will let me know of his findings. He also said there will be an email sent regarding this issue and the resolution that will take place.
It was getting late and I didn't want to argue anymore so I agreed to wait for his phone call and email. Friday 2/15/19 I did not receive any phone calls or emails in regards my failed delivery and I called customer service for a fourth time and spoke to someone who confirmed that my flowers were in fact not delivered on 2/14. I again asked for a full refund and was put on hold numerous times and eventually was hung up on (What great customer service!). I'm at work and already wasted 30 mins of my time trying to get a full refund when I was hung up on by the fourth customer service representative that did nothing to resolve my problem.
I waited another hour and called back for a fifth time and spoke to another customer service representative and requested to immediately speak to a supervisor. Again her response was there was no supervisor available and that she was trained to handle these issues. I told her my problem and frustration with the company and she confirmed that my flowers were not delivered at all on 2/14/19. She put me on hold numerous times and then offered to have the flowers redelivered for 50 percent off and a $20 gift certificate. I turned down the offer and requested a full refund of the $99.03 and told her I will never use this company again. She claimed that put in the request for a refund after another long hold and that I will receive an email confirmation.
I have not received any emails from 1-800-Flowers.com other than the fake email delivery confirmation on 2/13/19. I spoke to 5 different customer service representatives and spent almost 4 hours of my time trying to find out what happened to my Valentine's Day delivery and trying to get a full refund. I was lied to about callbacks and email confirmations. I finally had enough and contacted my credit card company to have the $99.03 disputed. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have never dealt with such incompetent customer service representatives in my life. This experience alone has ruined my Valentine's Day and I will forever remember this for years to come. In the future I will buy flowers from a local florist and will hand deliver the flowers myself to ensure that something like this will never happen again.

I ordered my mother a gardenia bonsai plant for her birthday to be delivered on Friday Feb 15. After waiting all day for them to arrive to Evansville, IN they never did! Saturday I received an email saying they would not arrive until Monday Feb 18. This plant came from Ny to Ms then to Tn. From there to Darmstadt, IN! Her plant seemed to travel all around and even through Evansville but was never delivered! This is unacceptable! Called customer service and the first non-English speaking man kept telling me it would be delivered Mon...
When I finally got him to comprehend I did not want them Monday I needed them Friday and that day has already past he put me on hold and never returned to the phone! I called back and this time got a non-English speaking woman who first tried to offer me a 30% discount on my next purchase! I explained to her I absolutely will not EVER order ANYTHING from them again... I did not want a discount. I wanted a refund and did not want their plant.
She then offered me half off my purchase price and the discount! I spoke a little firmer and told her again I didn't not want anything but my money back! I wanted the plant delivered on a special day for a special occasion... That day has come and passed and thanks to them it made someone very special to me (my mother) feel not so very special at all! She thought I forgot her birthday! Finally the customer service rep said I would receive a full refund which will come in 3-5 days. 10 minutes after I hang up this same woman calls me back wanting me to give her customer service a rating! Like WTF! It sucked! Never ever will I use them again! Don't waste your time or money on this place!

I ordered two dozen roses from 1-800-Flowers for Valentine's Day. My wife received them and many were moldy or dying. Many petals came off as well when removed from the box because of how tightly they were wrapped. An hour before delivery my wife received a cancer diagnosis and then opened these disgusting flowers. I was pissed. Contacted customer service. I asked for a full refund. The agent told me they cannot issue refunds on Valentine's Day and to call back the following day. He tried to offer me 20% off and redelivery more than five times!!! Each time I became more and more irritated. Called back the following day and was told I would be receiving a refund in full back to my card within 48 hours.
Well fast forward to today. I have not received a refund or anything as promised. Spoke with an agent in chat and her notes said that I was going to call back for re-delivery... Seriously??? Immediately ended my chat session and called customer service. More or the same BS. They told me they couldn't issue a full refund, etc.. Finally got in touch with an American agent who was actually helpful. Customer service is a call center outside the US. They lie and tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone. I will never do any business with 1-800-Flowers or any of their subsidiaries in the future. They wasted over 2 hours+ of my time and after receiving a horrible diagnosis of cancer this could have been a nice gift. Instead it was a nightmare. If you want a big headache and lies go ahead and give them a try.

First was supposed to be (I think) some type of Rosemary but looked like a Christmas tree left out in the July sun without water (from December). The plant was dead and literally falling apart upon arrival. After some hassle another plant was sent out and the replacement was 90% as bad. Mother is upset and afraid to tell sister (thus I am writing review). Please do not waste your money unless you intentionally want to send a dead plant to someone. I am sure they were well aware of condition before sending these plants.

I never check reviews which I should have. But I get a lot of pop-ups from here so I figure, "Ok I'll give try." The place I normally get flowers from moved so I just figured, "Ok give this place a try. What could go wrong." Well oh my gosh. Way too much headache. I ordered 3 weeks in advance. Valentine's comes and I'm waiting to hear, "Oh my gosh! I love the roses." The day keeps going and going. No delivery on the time they say. I called and got speaker from outside U.S.A. Ok that's fine. I barely understand but I still try and figure most out. They say, "You have to wait till 8 pm." I said, "That's not what was told to me."
So ok waited. I get text delivery was made. I'm thinking where were they? A ghost? I've been here the whole time. Called back and said I got a text that flowers are here. I said impossible. I told them I was here and I checked cameras and still nothing. Lol. The rep says, "Oh we don't deliver flowers. We only do fruit baskets." First I said, "Wow! I never seen that on your site. Plus I only see flowers." So disappointed. I said I wanted refund. They said, "Give us another chance. " Well I'm patient. I agreed. Said, "Ok I need them on Saturday." Well nothing came to make a longer story short.
How does this if it's a business stay in business. I'm just wondering how to get my money back because they did say a refund will take 3 days. I feel it's going to come and go with no money back. I have had some minor problems before. Let's say eBay but it was taken care of. This company is so horrible. How does the BBB let them stay around. I'm sorry to all the same people in the same situation. I hope everyone gets money back.

I ordered birthday flowers to be sent same day today, within the "count down" clock that was on the site. Before you can even order same day, you must input the zip code/address of recipient and select Same Day delivery. This presents you with a list of possible options -- which one would assume means they are actually available... Guess NOT!
I paid the up-charge for same day, received confirmation of my order, but a little bit later I received a call (voicemail) that asked me to call back (no urgency in message). I called back within 15 minutes and was told my order had already been cancelled because the local flower shop didn't have my requested bouquet arrangement. I questioned why they would cancel vs. trying to see if a substitute would be okay. The service rep said she'd see what she could do, but called back 40 minutes later to say all they could do was help place an order that would arrive on Tuesday (today was Saturday!).
Whole reason I chose 1-800-Flowers same day was because I had been alerted by my first-choice gift provider that there was a delay in my shipment that wouldn't arrive until Monday. Cut to end result, I said "No thanks." To make matters worse, I received the cancellation confirmation 90 minutes after placing my order, with the following message (no lie!): "Thanks for letting us help you deliver a smile. We look forward to helping you send another one real soon!"

Customer Service was no help and I spent 45 min in total trying to reach a Supervisor who could do more than offer to deliver the product again. It was every third or fourth word.
She first offered a $20 toward out next order. My wife said 'No I want a full refund, my order was supposed to be delivered two days ago. I could have and should have used a local shop's.' After a 4 minute hold, she offered 50% and the $20 credit. No. After 12 or more minutes again, she finally came back to say she would give full refund but it would take 15 to 30 days to process. We asked for email confirmation and she assured us we would get it. We informed her that we would contact the credit card company if we didn't see the email confirmation. We did get the email which says it will be processed within 24 hours. Should not have taken this much effort to get a refund for a failed delivery on Valentine's day.

I recently ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister on 2/14 and received an email indicating that they were delivered late on Thursday, but my sister never received them. I called customer service and found that their call center was outsourced to the Philippines and the agent could do nothing but keep repeating apologies. She then offered redelivery for 2/15 with a 50% refund on the purchase price. I asked for email confirmation and she advised it would be sent after the call ended. I never received that email. On 2/15, 1-800-Flowers once again failed to deliver my flowers and once again I had to waste time in calling their customer service to ask for a refund.
The first agent I spoke changed her name 3 times during the call and told me my account was being worked by an agent to process my refund and she could not view the status. I asked for a supervisor and was informed they were all in a 'meeting.' I asked to be transferred to the agent working on my refund and she said she could not transfer me or give me his/her name. She told me to call back again to try to talk to the mystery agent without knowing his/her name. Ludicrous! This agent then tried to pretend that she couldn't hear me to so that I would hang up. I called back and spoke to a different agent who said he would process my full refund during the call and I would get a confirmation email as soon as the call ended.
Again... I never received the promised email. I called back and was told by a new agent that she didn't see a refund was processed (Shocking) and she tried to get me to accept a new delivery time of 1/16. At this point, they had 2 shots to deliver my order and failed miserably so I declined and once again asked her to process my full refund and send me a confirmation email. She stated she would do it, but I once again didn't get that email.
At this point it was apparent that this company's CS team was completely inept so I filed a dispute with my credit card company. After filing the dispute, I filled out a complaint form on 1-800-Flower's website informing them of my issue and advising that I had set up a dispute with my credit card company to recoup my money. Lo and behold, 30 minutes after submitting the complaint form I finally get an email response stating that they will refund the full purchase price within 24 hours. All they do is place you on hold to come back and say the same thing over and over. It's like they read a script. You can't understand them because the customer service is overseas somewhere. This was just horrible experience. NO FLOWERS WAS DELIVERED TO MY GIRLFRIEND LIKE I WAS TOLD. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

I called them 3 times throughout the day because they claim to have tracking and all they could say is it will be there by 5. **. I have been on the phone with customer service 5 times on 2/13 and 2/14, they could not give me an answer when the order will be shipped, can barely explain anything. Finally, they come today, 1 day after Valentine's and 2 days after the order was due for delivery, mocking me that I ordered yesterday. I returned the shipment, called the credit card company to dispute the charge. This was the worst service I ever experienced anywhere. Go to any other service for flowers, you will never get such disaster.

I wish I read the reviews before purchasing anything from 1-800 flowers... I ordered an edible bouquet for my husbands birthday to his office. I placed my order 3 days before the delivery to make sure they have plenty of time. The day of the delivery I kept waiting for him to send me a message about the surprise... Waiting and waiting... Finally at 3 pm, I called the company and they said that it would be delivered by 5 pm. It’s Friday, the office closes at 5, but it’s FRIDAY, people leave early on Fridays. Anyway, they told me that they don’t have a number to the florist and I just have to wait... 4:10 pm, I get a call from the Florist asking me if the recipient is still there because they will be delivering the bouquet at 5 pm.
Who wants it 5 o’clock when NOBODY is there??? I told them that the person is already leaving and they can keep it. They did not even apologize! I was sooo upset! My first and last time using this company. They did refund the money and offered me a free delivery on Monday. But they already ruined it, I don’t want anything from them, even the free delivery and gift certificates that they offered. It’s too late. And I’ll make sure to tell everyone not to use them. What a shame!!!! So dissipating!!!

I received flowers for V-Day from my husband- item # 90787SCLSV1/Bunches of Love tulip & iris with clear swirl vase- box was upside down. After opening up, box was full of sand/dirt, Tulips were so droopy, with yellow stems (should be green) and slimy mold on the leaves. This order was supposed to be tulips and irises in a vase. The vase was the only nice thing about this... so disappointed and embarrassed, tried to recur them and put the flower food packet in with hopes that they would “pop" back up and look good, no luck.
The worst part was it was supposed to be tulips and irises - but no irises, just droopy half dead tulips. If I can load a pic of what the website shows and a pic of what I received I will show it. He will now and always use local florists and 1800 was cheap either -flowers, tax & delivery came out to $ 90. Never again- plus I had to put it all together myself so the awe factor went right out the window! I felt more like a flower doctor trying to save a patient! And to top that all off, people made fun of how they looked... I felt so bad and embarrassed! But it was the thought that counted and I thanked my husband “properly” for his love and efforts. Shame on you 1800 Flowers.

I ordered 2 days ahead of time and paid extra to make sure a dozen roses would be delivered to my girlfriend in New Orleans. They charged me for it, and my flowers never showed up. I called the next day to see why I paid extra for flowers being delivered a day late, and I swear 1 person I spoke with accepted the blame saying they never sent it out. Meanwhile, another person told me the florists don't deliver on Valentine's Day. I wanted money back for the extra I paid along with the flowers to be delivered a day later, but they only offered me credit towards my next purchase. I told them I'm not purchasing from them ever again unless they accept the mistake and give me my flowers and the refund. They gave me the refund and then called me back saying they can't deliver the flowers because they processed the refund. I've never come across anything so unprofessional in my life. I don't even know where to begin. The website is an absolute travesty, especially on mobile. My login information stopped working immediately after closing the webpage, and despite the website telling me I was signed in. On mobile, you can't track an order unless the zip code only has numbers, so if you're delivering to a place like Canada that has letters AND numbers, it tells you your zip code is an "invalid email address"(?).
About a week in advance, I ordered flowers, a balloon and some chocolates to be delivered to Ontario, and paid extra for the guaranteed Feb 14th delivery. A few days later, I received a voicemail from a representative saying they "needed to talk to me about my order". So I called them, and was greeted by broken English. The person on the phone did not seem to understand a single word I was saying, and it was incredibly difficult to understand her as well. After about 15-20 minutes of spelling out my name, my order number, and the recipient's name, she told me that there was nothing I needed to do for my order, and that she'd love it if I could give her a good customer satisfaction rating. Upwards of 30 minutes on the phone for absolutely nothing. I'm being nice and not leaving this particular person any official feedback.
Onto the actual delivery, it never happened. Despite paying the extra fee for guaranteed delivery, the tracking on the website never advanced past "Order received". The first time I called them to see what the issue was, I was hung up on. The second time, another lady with broken English, who told me that the order wouldn't be delivered because there were no available florists in the area. Are you kidding me? I don't feel like a week in advance is short notice or anything. I asked if I could just be discounted the guaranteed delivery fee, to which she said that because there aren't any florists nearby, the order couldn't be delivered AT ALL. Absolutely ridiculous that I wasn't notified of this BEFORE THE DAY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED. Thankfully I've received a full refund, but I've heard stories of people getting 50% refunded at most. This is the first and last time I'll ever order anything from this company. Don't even bother with this place.

So I called back and the woman now said, "Oh the person you spoke with never processed the refund." She said she would do it now and expect an email within 24 hrs. She then offered 50% off the order, redelivery and the $20 voucher. I accepted. It went all downhill from there.
This is what happened on 2/15. 1. I spoke with an unknown lady who told me she would look into the order. She left me on hold for 30 mins and never returned. Then the call was disconnected. 2. Sheila- asked for a supervisor. She told me while she was waiting for her supervisor she would locate my order. After she found my order she offered a $20 voucher for inconvenience. I asked her if she saw Hazel's offer. She said no and placed me on hold and never came back or transferred me to a supervisor. Call disconnected after holding for 10 mins.
3. Sara- I immediately asked for a supervisor. She said her supervisor was in a meeting. I refused to speak with her and again requested a supervisor. She said she would find him and put me on hold. But no flowers for my wife! I sign in online to see the order status, and the only part of the order on their website is my mother's order! My wife's order is NOT EVEN THERE! Completely erased! Gone! No mention of it whatsoever! I get on the phone to try to see what's going on, and I'm put on hold for 20 minutes as they try to track down the local florists. Now, I get LIED TO and told the entire order has been delivered. My wife's order and my mother's order. A straight out LIE! That the local florists says it was delivered, but the lady (on the phone) tells me she can tell the florist is LYING. Huh?? So even the operator on the phone KNOWS the florist is lying?!

I work 75 miles north of where I live and commute every day. So I wanted to order flowers for my Wife for Valentine's Day. Confirmation email showed delivery location (Anaheim, CA) & date (2/14/19) correct. 'Day of' email showed delivery date correct and that the flowers were "In Transit". When my wife's coworker (who had agreed to help me receive the flowers and place them on her desk) let me know mid-day that they hadn't arrived yet, I checked the tracking which showed the flowers were ordered from a Florist in Ventura, CA and were now in Bloomington, CA (119 Miles) and wouldn't be in Anaheim (90 Miles) until 2/15/19!
What good are Valentine's Day flowers that don't arrive on Valentine's Day?!? I called the support line with the hope of them realizing the mistake is on their part and to contact a local Anaheim Florist to make the delivery as promised. The individual I spoke with took my order number/info & told me he would call me right back. 30 minutes later I hadn't received a call, so I called back.
After 10 mins waiting to get a rep on the line, I was told that since the flowers were in transit they couldn't change or cancel the order and offered me a $20 discount and the flowers would still be delivered the next day, which obviously was unacceptable. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 15 mins. The same person came back on the line "after speaking with the supervisor" offered me $20 and the shipping refunded... No, I want to speak to the supervisor! 10 more mins on hold, at this point I'm thinking they want me to get fed up and just hang up, but I wait.
Supervisor eventually gets on the phone and offers me 30%. "No". "The best I can do is 40% and your flowers will still arrive tomorrow." "If you ordered flowers for your wife or girlfriend for Valentine's Day and they didn't actually come on Valentine's Day, would they be of any value to you?" "No sir, and I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do. We can't cancel or change the order because it is already in transit. The absolute best I can do is 50% off and free shipping." "That's not acceptable."
At this point, I know I'm not getting them to fix the mistake in a manner that will get what I ordered on the day I need it so apologize to the manager for being upset with him and the first person I spoke with. I let him know that I know it's not their fault specifically, but rather the company they work for. And that while the company itself is actually a "middle man" in this. They take the orders and money and "contract" the work to florists, so then either the company messed up in placing the orders with the florists, at which point, it's 1-800-Flowers fault and they need to take responsibility, or it's the individual florist's fault for not ensuring proper delivery date. But in that case, 1-800-Flowers chooses who they work with and contract to, so the responsibility still falls on 1-800-Flowers.
I hang up and run to a local florist by my work to make sure shes still getting flowers on Valentine's day. Get home and let her know that she was supposed to have them at work, and that she will be getting some awkward Valentine's Day flowers the next day. This morning I tried to call the corporate phone number but no one answered. My wife texted me screenshots of this site and a few of the reviews from people in the same boat as me. Just looking through the first 50 or so reviews show that this issue was across at least 20 states and Canada. And because of one specific review explaining what they said to get a full refund, I called customer support back and was able to get the same. It will arrive back on my card in "1-2 billing cycles" and that I am supposed to receive a confirmation email sometime today saying as much.
1-800-Flowers embarrassed me as a Husband and stressed me out on Valentine's Day. They have lost me individually as a customer. In my wife's line of work (Healthcare), they send flowers frequently and have exclusively used 1-800-Flowers. She will also NEVER be using them again for any of their business needs in addition to telling her coworkers about the issues from this and recommending they no longer use this company. It would be one thing if they acknowledged the mistake and found a way to make it right; providing what was agreed upon, when it was agreed upon. Posted a complaint on a Facebook thread where I was told to pm details, which I did. Still waiting. According to these Reviews, they screwed over a TON of people who expected a gift for Valentine's Day. There is absolutely no excuse for this! They should filter the local florists much better, and only use ones that have certain certifications, not just ANY florist. Place is a joke - Customer service is completely non existent. Worst experience ever purchasing flower delivery. I literally would have picked them up myself.

Gave me a phone number that was disconnected and I called back again - ask for supervisor after being on hold for 10 minutes - I got hung up on. They even told me once, "You didn’t order from us." I said, "Oh really? Why does my emails all say order from 1-800-Flowers, really??? Worst customer service ever! I used my head - call my credit card company and put in dispute! After waiting all day for them to be delivered they had them scheduled to be delivered the following day from another state. I called to cancel the order and initially they wanted to credit me the delivery fee. I told them that I didn't care what they did with the flowers now, but I didn't want them and wasn't paying for them. They gave me a full refund that is supposed to show up on my card in the next couple weeks. This is the second time that I have ordered from them and after being mildly disappointed with it the first time, they made sure that they didn't leave any doubt the second. I definitely learned my lesson and will be dealing with local florists, from now on.

Christmas flowers I ordered on 12/12 for 12/21 delivery were delivered to family member on 12/14 - with all of the card delivery information indicating a 12/21 delivery. When we arrived at the family member's on 12/24 for the holidays, the flowers were nearly dead and that's when I found out they were delivered 7 days too early. 1-800-Flowers argues 'flowers WERE delivered'. Sure - but dead by the time the holiday arrived. As all the initial order confirmation indicated 12/21 delivery, no one on their end updated the delivery date to 12/14 so disputing the charge wasn't possible either. After calling 3 times to get some type of voucher and being hung up on all 3 times, my advice is beware of this service.

I got the order number and tried to put it into the website for tracking, it said I have no orders. A couple days later I called because I needed to change the destination, as I found out my mom wouldn’t be at work that day. Changes went through seemingly fine and I got a new order number to reflect the changes. Went to put the order number in online for tracking again, still said I had no orders.
I just called this morning for the refund and the representative told me that the order had been put on hold for some reason due to the address change. I asked for a full refund and the representative didn’t hassle me about it, but it was about a 10 minute wait, and I called at 6 am just to be sure I wouldn’t be calling at a busy time. At least she didn’t try to give me a credit or hassle me about the refund, only good experience I had with this company so far. Just hoping my refund won’t get “put on hold” like my order somehow did. Offered a to send another order of flowers and a 20% discount on my next order (ha ha!). I explain another order of flowers doesn't help the fact that they missed their delivery date. Put on hold another 10 minutes.
At this point, I ask to just cancel the entire order and give me a refund. She says she can't, the system is backed up and needs a supervisor. So I ask for a supervisor. My flowers that were supposed to be delivered by 12 (noon) paid extra for it and never got my flowers. Called customer service multiple time and every time they could hardly speak English or get my order correct. They couldn’t find it then when they did gave me the runaround that it should be on its way... It’s now 5:30 and nothing. Worse place ever!!

I would never use 1-800-Flowers ever again. Their customer service is horrendous. First, I sent flowers to a convalescing friend and the item that arrived was totally wrong. Second: I sent an email through the 1-800 website to complain, and received no reply. Third: I waited until the next business day and called. I couldn’t understand the agent due to his heavy accent and asked to speak to a supervisor. Fourth: I spoke to an English speaking supervisor and he assured me that a replacement delivery would be sent and an apology call made to the recipient. NEITHER HAPPENED. Fifth: I waited two days and finally called again. I asked to speak to another Supervisor and was left on hold for 48 minutes before they disconnected me entirely.
Sixth: I called back and was told that every supervisor — every manager — was on a call. The second agent was quite insistent that she could help me, but I said I had no confidence that she could since the supervisor I spoke to days earlier wasn’t competent enough to do so. Seventh: I have now listened to their incessant music in the background for another 38 minutes as I go about my business. The only semi-positive note is that I was promised a $20 credit by email for my troubles, and I have received that. But who cares? I’m resolved to never use them again so this credit is worthless. Final: A supervisor finally gets on the phone and promises a redelivery and apology call to the recipient. I doubt either will occur.

I purchased 2 Groupons for use on Valentine's day. I ordered bouquets for both my mother and daughter to be delivered today. I spent approximately 40 minutes on the phone initially as the entire company has outsourced and no one speaks great English. But I understand. The girl who placed my order applied Groupon for $15.00 per order instead of $30.00. Overnight, I was charged an additional $154.00. I spent be hours on the phone to find someone who would reimburse me. Which I did, although I haven't received it yet. Today I received a call from them asking for my daughter's address again! Clarified it with them, just to be told that "same day delivery is not an option for the zip code". Funny, it was four days ago! Worse company ever!

Single worst flower delivery of all time. Absolutely pathetic display, crammed in a box. No note. Wilted flowers. Horrible presentation. There's no way she's going to stay with me. You might as well have put the wrong name on them. You guys are a bunch of morons. Keep the money. I hope it goes towards your legal funds.

Received the flowers, but they are basically dead and didn’t come as advertised. Suppose to be tulips and iris. The irises were missing. They look absolutely awful. The personal message wasn’t in the message card. It was on the packaging slip, which I almost didn’t see. Very unprofessional.

Let me see... I paid a total of $74 for 12 chocolate covered strawberries to be sent to my wife on 2/14/2019. They charged me $20 for delivery because they guaranteed them there on the 14th. I called at approximately 1pm est and got a customer service rep that barely spoke English. This is America and English is the native language. They assured me they would be delivered by FEDEX at 3 pm EST. It is now 4 PM EST and she has received no delivery. HOW IS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION???
Stay away...they take your money. What a horrible place to get nothing when you should. This 8 PM Delivery is hidden in their Privacy Policy; most businesses are open until 5PM; but they have a disclaimer to ensure delivery by 8 PM??? Who is in most offices at 8 PM? Only Workaholics!!! It never mentions anywhere when you make the order, that delivery window is up to 8 PM...NOT WORTH 1 STAR, BUT THE RATING DOESNT ALLOW 0 OR MINUS STARS!

SCAM - do not use this service. You will overpay and receive a fraction of the quality of the product that they advertise in their photos on the website. I ordered the Extra Large Version that had 5 different flowers and baby's breath and berries... The delivery had 2 different flowers and looked more like a medium size... Their way of "making it right" with their "100% smile guarantee" was to give me a $20 credit for the "next" purchase. There won't be a next purchase. And $20 barely covers the delivery fee. I paid $75... Came here to leave a review and apparently it happens a lot. What a scam.

I ordered the Passion for Purple Two Dozen and Key to My Heart for delivery on 2/14/19. We received the roses and vase, however the silver key and heart set were not included. These items increased the price by $20 (before shipping) over the cost of the roses and vase alone. The reason I chose 1800 Flowers and specifically this item, is because the key and heart have special significance to my relationship with my wife, otherwise I would've simply ordered from a local florist.
My wife tried calling 1-800-Flowers to discuss a resolution (since I'm at work) and they said even though she's the delivery recipient, they can't discuss problems with the order with her, since I'm the one who ordered it. I went on the website and submitted a query using their online Customer Service Issues with my order form, and will be awaiting a response. I would prefer to receive ALL the items I ordered instead of a refund. I guess I should've read all the complaints online first before using 1800 Flowers. I won't be using their services again, since they obviously can't fulfill an order correctly.

I put an order in last week to be delivered on 2/13/19 and the product was not delivered. 1-800-Flowers stated that FedEx broke the vase and sent it back but did not inform me until I called them. They were supposed to send out another order today on 2/14/19 but when I checked my account it was no tracking number attached to it. So I called them back and they was informed that the arrangement would not be delivered on today either and offered me a $20 savings pass which pissed me off more because I didn’t call for a discount. I called to get my lady her flowers delivered and they offered me everything except getting her the flowers. I would have had a better chance at flying to town and delivering them myself.

First checked on phone to see where is the delivery. It stated "Order Received". Called twice to find out where is the order, is it with the third party store, on the trunk for delivery or just where is the order? The customer service has no idea. They will not provide the local store phone number or name so they can be contacted directly. Worst service ever. The customer service even told me, 'oh the local store called the recipient to say they're going to their place today'. Why would they even do that? It was suppose to be a surprise, do they do that with flowers too? Other social media will be advised to not use this service.

Paid this business extra money to ensure my wife got her flowers at work during normal office hours. I placed my order well over two weeks ago and sure enough, she’s gone the entire day thinking I forgot or didn’t care enough to send her something. Will NEVER spend another penny with these incompetent fools ever again. This is not the first time this has happened either. Buy LOCAL next year.

Received flowers delivered to me at work from my husband on Valentine’s Day and was very disappointed when I opened the box to leaves lying in the box detached from the flowers. As I got up to put water in the vase, I left a trail of leaves behind me. Every time I moved them, the leaves fell off! This would have been a pleasant surprise had I not been disappointed and embarrassed!

I ordered an arrangement of flowers, a balloon, and asked for simply “4321” placed on the delivery card. The flowers arrived, close to what they displayed, but no balloon nor card. When I requested (via email) the other items, they called me to confirm the delivery card message. They ended up delivering the balloon, but still no card. When I again sent an email, I received a response that I did not order a balloon and that the flowers were delivered. Another email from me, and a different customer service rep, Oh, we are sorry, we will gladly resend everything to my recipient today, a day later. When I sent yet another email questioning the resending a day later, I received yet another email from a different customer service rep stating the my “smile” had been delivered and they were complete with my complaint. This 1800Flowers is nothing but a HIGH Price rip-off that should be investigated and put out of business.

WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS FIRST. Ordered roses for my daughter and girlfriend. No problem on ordering and delivery. The problems were the flowers and follow-up customer service. My daughter's roses were half-bloomed (closed) and bloomed, while my girlfriend's roses were wilted within 24 hours. Call to customer service was the day after delivery. First agent (broken English) offered 50% discount and gift card (like I would use this company again); I requested a full refund, and requested to speak to a supervisor--- placed on hold for 10 minutes ("engaged with another customer"- remember this); he returned and told me to email pictures of the roses (which I did within minutes) and to call back.
I called again, to speak with a second agent (broken English), who knew nothing about my prior call; I told her to review his notes, if any; she offered the same 50% refund and gift card; I asked to speak with a supervisor ("engaged with another customer"), then the supervisor was away, and was on hold for a total of 90 minutes. The supervisor (Ivy) finally spoke with me and stated that I did not need to send pictures and that she would need to talk to "some other people" to process a full refund and would call me back in 1 hour--- she offered a 50% discount with re-delivery, an 80% discount, and finally a 90% discount, and I demanded a full refund.
After not receiving a call from the supervisor, I called back and spoke with a third agent, Kenneth, and he offered a 50% refund, which I refused (back and forth on hold for 30 minutes); then he stated that I would receive a full refund within 24 hours (1-2 billing cycles on my credit card) (we'll see)--- I requested an email confirmation, which he said would be sent within 24 hours--- I will not hold my breath. WHAT A RUN-A-ROUND. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY--- do business with a local florist.

My boyfriend surprised me today for Valentine’s Day with what should have been a beautiful bouquet of 2 dozen roses. What I got was 2 dozen sad looking roses that looked like they came from a gas station. He spent a lot of $ on these and was looking forward to surprising me and making me feel special. Instead I had to say thank you for the sweet gesture, him apologizing to me for the disappointment when it clearly wasn’t his fault and me feeling bad that he felt bad. After reading all of the reviews, I see I’m not alone. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I will never use 1 800 Flowers again and strongly suggest no one else does either. What a shame.

I ordered from this company with a guaranteed delivery date of February 14th 2019, I paid extra for this guaranteed delivery that appears will not happen. I emailed the company about this and received the following. "Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand the importance of expressing yourself to someone you care about. Please know that the FedEx will deliver your arrangement tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience." Next I received a phone call from someone who cannot speak English offering a $20 dollar coupon for my inconvenience. "Kate" the customer service rep on the phone would not let me speak with a manager. I informed her that if my order is not delivered tomorrow they will be hearing from my lawyer.

Very polite, yet useless. As the title states, the service representatives were very polite, but they didn't help me at all. First of all, they accept your payment without verifying whether they can deliver to your area (I live in Canada, and they can't do business here apparently). When I called to cancel my order, they put in a REPLACEMENT order instead. I had to call back again to cancel both orders now, after having been charged for the first one. They assured me it would be refunded in 24-48 hours. 96 hours later, it still wasn't done. I had to call AGAIN to cancel it, and after speaking to a representative who told me to "hold for 3-5 minutes", I was placed on hold for 25 minutes, with no updates. I hung up and called back, and have now been told it is being processed. A week and 6 phone calls later, it may finally happen.

I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day. I ordered them on Feb 4th. to be delivered on Feb 14th. The flowers that showed up were wilted and some were broken at the stem. I called and emailed them. I was told the flowers I ordered were no longer available. And they choose a replacement that I didn't like. I was assured that it would be delivered on 2-14. I got an email from a sales rep sometime during the night saying that my order would NOT be delivered. So I called. waited 50 min on hold and got hung up on. Another 25 min on hold. to hear that yes it would be delivered on time and that I don't get a choice in the replacement. When I asked about the email I was informed that it was computer generated and that I should ignore it. Even tho the order numbers were different... I told them finally to refund my money. Said 3-5 days... FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET FLOWERS FROM.
