    Ordered same day flower delivery, spending $18.00 in service fees, and the flowers weren't delivered to the recipient. The total cost with the flowers was $73.33. That is a lot of money to spend for nothing.

    My husband and I ordered flowers for his mom's birthday and spent a pretty hefty amount on them..70$ to be exact. We were supposed to get a cute tea pitcher and a gorgeous bouquet but instead it looked like something a 12 year old got from Walmart for 9$! SO disappointed and will never use this company again!

    I placed an order for a fruit basket via1-800-Flowers For Thanksgiving. When the company was unable to fulfill my order they simply issued a credit to my credit card but did not notify me that the item was unavailable. Instead they arbitrarily decided to issue me a replacement item that I did not approve. When I Discovered the strange charge on my credit card I contacted the company and was told that my order was placed by me which was untrue and they ended up ordering me an item that was double the price. And The company was then asking me to provide them with a bunch of information since they weren’t able to track down my original order number.

    The order number on the email confirmation that I received for my fruit basket was suddenly tied to an order that I did not place. When I contacted customer service they were unable to assist me and proceeded to ask me to provide them with copies of my credit card statement email my order confirmation in order for me to get a callback from a representative. I would not order from them again. They use my credit card to purchase a replacement item for twice the cost of my original item and failed to obtain my authorization and allow me to make a decision as to whether or not I wanted a replacement item. This company cannot be trusted and please monitor your credit card statements and orders very carefully.

    Run don't walk away from 1-800-Flowers.com, $100 for flowers that don't look anything like the picture. Also, about $10 Worth of flowers were used for the $100. An absolute disgrace and crime. These people should go to jail for theft. I had to order another arrangement from a local company. Please don't go through this service, find someone local to where you want the flowers delivered. I can't believe that they are in business and I definitely can't believe they are sold on the stock exchange!!!! INSANE!!!!

    Horrible experience, I will never use this service again. I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to do this one. I ordered flowers today for my 20th anniversary at 10 AM this morning. I tracked the order periodically during the day. I never saw the status change and around 5:00 PM I got a notice that there was a failed delivery attempt, even though the tracking was not reflective of this.

    The email said they would try and deliver again until they were successful. Now at the time they supposedly were attempting the delivery the recipient (my wife) her mother and my daughter were all home along with three barking dogs. I also have ring doorbell which showed no activity at my door during the entire day. So I decided to call 1-800-Flowers to see when they would make the next attempt for a delivery.

    So when I dialed in and someone presumably in a non-English speaking country that I could barely hear due to the the noise level which sounded like a Wall Street bullpen and the fact that the person on the other end of the phone spoke severely broken English, I was told that they attempted to deliver the flowers and no one accepted them, I said "ok", then asked when I should receive them, they put me on hold then hung up.

    Two minutes later they called back and informed me that due to high volume deliveries I would receive my "same day" delivery (as promised in my confirmation) however we would receive them the next day. This put me off pretty bad, so I asked for a refund, they started at 20% and I used my angry persuasion to get them to give me a full refund, believe me I went through all the layers of their angry customer manual (which takes ten minutes) to have them put me on hold then get hung up on - oh the frustration. I called back and had to start the process again and went through it as I did before. Still waiting on my confirmation email, we shall see if they actually send one. Bottom line: I will try a local vendor next time, I hope someone reads this and saves their self from both a heartache and a headache.

    1-800 Flowers dropped the ball at my dad's funeral! I requested delivery a day in advance to insure there wouldn't be an issue, as this was the arrangement to be used for his military burial at the cemetery. They couldn't deliver that day, and said the funeral arrangement would arrive by 9:00 a.m. the day of the funeral. I arrived at the funeral home for the service only to find out there was no delivery. No phone call...no respect, had to scramble when my focus should have been on family, not flowers. You shouldn't be offering a service that you can't provide.

    Please do not order from this place! My fiance ordered me flowers just because. They were not at all what was ordered. Ok - accidents happen. Well they said to him that they would allow me to keep the ones I already had and start a new order from a different place and ensure it was corrected. It was not - so I messaged them. Asked for a refund because it came from the same place.

    They the customer service agent stated "I am really sorry for the misunderstanding, Laura. I can assure you that the florist was changed on the order that was sent to you today. However, when there is an issue with the quality of the arrangement sent, the florist usually takes back the old arrangement and replaces it with the new arrangement, so that you can enjoy a fresh arrangement. - Johanna" SAME PLACE- So I sent her the evidence and she still lied to me. The place was not changed. The place did a horrible job and brought me a smaller one to replace the other one. I am so let down and disgusted with their lies!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! If I could do 0 stars I would!

    I ordered flowers for a birthday party held at the Riverside Hilton in New Orleans. I ordered four days before I needed them. On the day of delivery, I kept checking my email for a confirmation. I logged in to the 1800flowers site and could see the order had been "Confirmed" but not delivered. I called mid-day and was told to wait until the end of the day for the delivery. IT WAS NEVER DELIVERED, and I was never alerted about this. I called later that night and was told it could not be delivered "to the hotel." I had given the info that the recipient was a guest, and even called the hotel to confirm it was no problem to accept them. When I ordered them I even called 1800flowers to make sure it was OK to deliver to a hotel. I was told "no problem."

    My biggest gripe is that I was never told it was a problem to deliver them until late on the day of delivery!!!!! I called again the next day and was told the flowers would be re-delivered. After I hung up, I got to thinking why would they deliver them a day late if they couldn't deliver them on the RIGHT day? I called back and was told no, I was right, they couldn't be delivered. REALLY BAD PROCESS ALL THE WAY AROUND. Called Teleflora for a delivery.

    I have given my wife a dozen roses for her birthday for the last 35 years. Since we were traveling, I wasn't able to use my local florist to send flowers for her birthday this time. I called 1800Flowers and they took my credit card and I gave them specific instructions and contact info and address to deliver roses to our resort we were staying at. No roses by 7pm long after we checked in. I called 1800Flowers and they said "sorry, we'll deliver them tomorrow." Our tradition broken, I spent the rest of the evening consoling my wife on her birthday. Thank you 1800Flowers for making my wife cry on her birthday.

    Shortly after I placed an order for 1 dozen Red Roses from 1-800-Flowers.com, I received a call from an unrecognized 800 number, I answered to an Asian woman whom I could hardly understand a single word she was saying. I got that it was 1800Flowers, and something was wrong with my order. I then heard "Substitute Orange or White Roses" and said, NOPE, not interested in substituting anything, and after he continuing to try and get me to take either orange or white I, in I'm sure a frustrated voice by this point said "JUST CANCEL THE ORDER!" I said it like 3-5 times in a row.

    Then I get an email that showed a bouquet of assorted flowers and some white and peach colored roses and the price was $13 MORE than the red I had ordered. By this time, I had ordered roses from another floral company to be delivered the next day. So in the end, I paid $96 for something I didnt order or approve of the substitution. While they say they have fully refunded, I havent seen anything yet.... GET A U.S. BASED CALL CENTER!!! Would give 0 stars if possible!!

    I ordered flowers for my Aunt's funeral on a Thursday, for Friday delivery at the funeral home. Her funeral was Saturday. I checked to make sure they were delivered on Monday and they had NOT been. I was told they could deliver them immediately. HUH? She is in the ground now. The funeral is over. Then I was informed that I had multiple orders. NO.... just the one and I want it refunded to my credit card. UGH. I live 5 1/2 from the where the funeral was held. I sent flowers because I couldn't make the drive and these ** hats can't even get them there on time?! Horrible.

    This place is horrible. Said they couldn't deliver my wife's flowers on our anniversary because no one was there. My wife works at a court house. Someone is always there. These people are full of **. Don't use them unless you have no other choice. Even then you might be better just pulling off to the side of the road somewhere and picking some yourself. At least you'd get something.

    I bought some flowers for my wife. I thought I'd give 1800flowers.com a try. I will say the flowers were nice if they were 50% less money. $95 is a little extreme for what my wife received. First, there were some hidden fees totaling close to $25 on top of the price of the flowers. Second, I paid an extra $20 for the large size. Thirdly, the flowers came in a super tiny vase. It was a very tiny disappointing display of flowers. I'll never order from them again. I e-mailed them twice because there's no way possible I received the large display. If it was the small one I'd understand. It's been 2 weeks since the issues were reported to them. I've heard nothing from them. Horrible customer service. No customer service would be more accurate. Sadly, I don't live in a town that has a good flower shop. I'll be driving an hour to get good flowers next time. No way I'll ever go through this experience again.

    My whole family loves lilacs. I saw them as an option on the website and didn’t hesitate to order them for my mother. Advertised online was a picture of a small, lovely full-blooming lilac bush. There was no disclaimer about blooms anywhere on the page. What arrived was a lopsided bunch of leaves with no flowers or even buds, at a time of year when lilacs are in full bloom. Even with the utmost care the plant died several months later and not one flower ever showed. Not cool, guys.

    I ordered a memorial cross of white roses for $200 to be delivered. Got an email confirmation. The next morning they call me and leave a reference number regarding my order. I call them. The idiot on the phone cannot find my order. After 8 people!!! Yes. 8 people. I finally find out that the order cannot be delivered because they don’t have a local florist to fill the order. Now this ** on the phone says he can get it delivered tomorrow. I tell him “my friend is dead. The memorial is TODAY! No one will be there tomorrow.” Then he tries to offer me a 50% refund!! I tell him “50%??!!!! You ** up and you’re trying to give me 50%!!! You better refund me 100% or there will be hell to pay!!!!”

    I had to SCREAM at this guy to make him understand I better get my full refund. Totally unprofessional and I was extremely dissatisfied with their service. Don’t use 1-800-FLOWERS UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!!! Terrible service and expensive and over half of the people I spoke to barely could understand English. Just ridiculous.

    I ordered flowers 2 days in advance for my 77 year old mom, who couldnt be visited by my husband and I living out of state. The day of her bday she recd a call saying there was an issue w/ my cc. Incorrect information. They didnt process order and the cutoff to deliver flowers for her town was over. Why did this happen with ordering from your company with plenty of time? I spent 40 minutes on phone with cs to give them a chance to fix their mistake. The supervisor never got on the phone for me, after requesting 2 times. The flowers are not getting delivered on her bday and they would not credit full amount for their incompetence. They offered 20.00 for next order.. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!

    There is a business mantra that states if you provide great service they’ll tell a few people, provide terrible service & they’ll tell everyone they know. Well 1800Flowers needs to spend some time evaluating their customer service training. INVEST in their training. First there’s some terrible disconnect. Hubby orders me a beautiful bouquet, balloon & chocolate dipped strawberries for my birthday YESTERDAY. Nothing gets delivered, no call from 1800flowers..

    He calls today, and the rep says “oh, they didn’t have those flowers”. Excuse me?! So was nothing going to be done?! Then their only offer was free shipping. So spend more money after our fail & we’ll give you free shipping. No apology even after my husband expressed his disbelief at their nonchalant attitude & he said “well her birthday was yesterday, surprise ruined”. 1800flowers was always my go to for flower orders, I use them, my mom, hubby & my in-laws. Never again. What terrible service & terrible experience. So if hubby hadn’t called were they going to ever reach out! Terrible customer service, never again, birthday gift ruined.. 1800flowers never again!

    Don't envision ever using them again because of 2 different issues.

    1) Ordered 6 chocolate covered strawberries for a friend after surgery. When I asked them about their order they said 3 of them were rotten and had to be thrown away. They called 1800Flowers and complained and were told we would get a full refund. A week or so later I got an email apologizing with a Savings Pass # for $20 off future order (nowhere near what I paid).

    2) Went online to quickly order a flower arrangement for a friend who lost his father. Would have preferred to order a fruit basket but was afraid based on last experience. Went all through order process online which was exceedingly slow. When I hit "Place your Order" nothing happened. Afraid to hit it again in case I ended up ordering 2, I called Customer Service. Talked to Giselle who ended every sentence with "Sorry for the inconvenience ". I don't need to constantly hear that! She offered to place order over phone which meant I had to go over everything again, plus I was stuck on the order screen & couldn't go back to give her product #.

    When I gave her Savings Pass # from last mishap she insisted it was already used so no money left on card. Took me quite a while to make her understand I used the # when I was ordering online which was now frozen on my screen without completing. She kept trying to negotiate with me with free shipping (which I was getting anyway) or 10-15 percent off. I kept telling her I was not negotiating, I just wanted my $20 credit. Asked to speak to manager which meant I was put on hold for a quite a while. Never spoke to manager but she would come back with another offer (not my $20). After over an hour of trying to order flowers she finally agreed to give me the $20 credit and we finished the order.

    Looked at my credit card online today and see I am charged twice for this order. Again, called customer service and spoke to Ella (accent made it hard to understand). She assured me I would only get charged once. We'll see. Also asked her to correct spelling on message card. Instead of writing "loss" they wrote "lost" and she wanted to change it to "lose". Really!? This whole thing was very frustrating. Took me forever to get them both to understand why I was calling with constant repeating by both me and them. Definitely a call center in another country. Hopefully the delivery goes as scheduled.

    Ok, I procrastinated and ordered flowers for my wife on our anniversary day. Long stories short, after 3 emails and 3 phone calls made by me and the flowers were not delivered. Keep in mind, no one from 1-800-Flowers called or texted me regarding the problems, even though they have my phone number on file. I had to call them before I leave work to find out the status of my order, and the rep promised me my item will be delivered before the end of the day, but no, it didn't not arrive. The reps I talked to are very courteous and apologetic, the last one offered me discount for my next order and a personal phone call to my wife to explain why the flowers were not delivered on our special day...I just wanted a full refund and I don't think I will ever procrastinate and order from them again.

    I ordered flowers for my Mom’s birthday. I noticed I did not receive an email the day of delivery stating they were in transit so I called and spoke with a customer service rep. Let's call this customer service rep #1. After being on the phone for 20 minutes, Customer Service Rep #1 said they would get delivered that day by 8 PM and she would call me later with an update. Eight PM came and went with no phone call and no delivery so I called 1-800-FLOWERS a second time and spoke with Customer Service Rep #2. I was upset that a. my order was not delivered and b. I never received a call back so Customer Service Rep #2 provided me a full refund and explained my order would be delivered in two business days.

    I was not overly thrilled, but felt like my needs were met . . . Until the delivery day came for a second time and still my order was not delivered and I did not receive an email saying they were in transit. Then I called again and spoke with Customer Service Rep #3, who apologized for the inconvenience. It is not Customer Service Rep #3’s fault that this company does not fulfill its promises and Customer Service Rep #1 and #2 did not help me, but also BOTH lied to me.

    Due to this, I asked to speak with a manager and was informed there were no managers for me to speak with. Customer Service Rep #3 apologized and stated my order would get delivered now in another two business days, almost a full week late. I am completely frustrated with this company because a. My order was not delivered on time, b. I spoke with two Customer Service Reps who did not help me, c. I have spent over an hour total talking with customer service and still my order is not fulfilled (I guess we will see in two days), d. I asked to speak to a manager and was told none are available for me to talk to (now that is a first). I have never experienced such poor customer service and will never order from this company again due it.

    I ordered a flower arrangement for my mom for her birthday. I was very disappointed on what she received specially on how expensive my order was. I ordered a medium birthday arrangement. The flowers look like it purchase at a supermarket and put into a dollar store vase. The bow was made from a a cheap thin ribbon and it looks like the arrangement only had like 10 flowers total, mind you the flowers look cheap. It only had 2 Roses, carnations and some other small flowers. I put in a comment in their website and no one even bother to reach back to me. I would not recommend this website to no one. I was actually embarrassed once my mom send me the picture of what she received.

    I not degrading this company. I spoke for 21 minutes on the phone with a lady when making my order. Her English wasn't very good, so I had to ask her to repeat many times. There is a delay on the phone, which was very annoying when asking or answering a question. This is a common problem with outsourcing I would assume. Then 2 hrs after I made my 237$ order, I was called back by 1800Flowers. Again a lady with broken English tried to explain the flowers I ordered was not available. I struggled to understand the language barrier and she was trying her best also. Bless her heart. She said I can get a 20$ credit on my next 1800flower purchase. I don't use them often, so I asked if she will just add the credit on the card I made the initial purchase with. I got no clear audible answer. I just hope the flowers that arrive at my Aunt's funeral tomorrow looks like the ones I selected on their website photo. She said it will, just not the same flowers I ordered. We will see tomorrow I guess.

    These guys failed big time. I placed an order 2 days ahead and get the confirmation of order received and processed. 3 days past the scheduled delivery, and I hear from the recipient of not getting anything delivered. These guys didn't even try reaching out to me for not making a delivery! I had to got through their customer service to get my money refunded. No responsibility and no class! Do not use them!

    I ordered flowers Wed AM for Fri delivery for a party Friday night. Friday comes and I want to check a tracking # / delivery. Big surprise, buried in my order email 1-800 had changed the delivery and made it a week later. No notice. Called and spend 35 minutes on the phone trying to get my full ordered credited back. After refusing their excuses that it was one of their vendors, flowers had already shipped, they could offer me $20 off my next order etc I was told I would get a full refund. Will that actually happen? I have my doubts.

    - - - BUYER BEWARE - - - I have used 1-800-Flowers many times to send flowers to family in Indonesia. EACH time they are unable to get the address correct for the delivery. I get 2 to 3 calls over 2 weeks to get the right address, each time I give them the address and they tell me that it will be delivered on time. THEN in a few days they will call again and ask for the address AGAIN... I give it to them and then they tell me the flowers will arrive on time, even though the delivery is already a week late.

    I have worked call centers before and I know how horrible it is to deal with rude people. I try very hard to be polite and understanding when dealing with other companies on the phone. 1-800-FLOWERS' Customer service is often rude and often aggressive at the start of the call and then they are dismissive once they see where the error is in their ordering process.

    Recently, I did ANOTHER in hopes that this they would be on time. Once again I got multiple calls about the address, I referred them to my address book that is part of the "onsite experience" and the second call the address book was erased. This delivery was for my fiancee, we are celebrating her getting her visa... Another unhappy customer 1-800-flowers.

    If I could provide zero stars, I would. After receiving e-mail confirmation that my gift to my friend for his birthday had delivered. I thought nothing of it until I spoke to him and he never received the gift. After calling customer service, I found out that the gift I had selected was not in stock and couldn't be delivered. THEN WHY TELL ME IT WAS DELIVERED??? Ugh. I was told that they would find a replacement at either same value or higher to make up for this mistake. I was told the gift would be delivered the following day. It never was delivered. After multiple phone calls and much wasted time on hold, I was promised a full refund. So far, I've only received a partial refund. I would NEVER order from them again, I've been sharing my experience and will continue to do so. There are many choices for having gifts delivered and this is the worst of the worst. I will never be using this company again.

    The professionalism I experienced was exceeded only by the patience and politeness of the representative I spoke to. I asked for flowers to be delivered to a hotel where my daughter would be arriving. Upon checking the next day to see if flowers were delivered, front desk agent told me that the flowers were there but they didn't have a reservation for my daughter. I realized my mistake and called 1-800 Flowers. They re delivered the next day to the correct Hotel. No hesitation, exceeded my expectations.

So, I am submitting a follow-up review on the company's response to my complaint regarding their service. I ordered a big beautiful hydrangea - one with 7-9 bloom-puffs bursting out of mosaic pot, but my recipient received a small plastic-potted plant placed loosely inside a thin and empty-looking mosaic pot, and the plant itself didn't even have ONE full blooming hydrangea!! It had a pitiful puff mostly green with a few white flowers and a second piece of a puff pretty much all green buds. This was an apology plant, and I was MORTIFIED.

    I complained to the company and sent pictures of the plant from the website and the one my recipient received; so they sent my recipient a do-over plant. This one had all of the same problems except that it had ONE puff ball in bloom. Attached you will find pictures of all 3 plants: the website photo, the first delivery plant and the second delivery plant. I feel that the second delivery PROVES THAT THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM. They do NOT have the plants in stock that they are advertising!!! I paid $71 for something that was so pathetic I could have gotten something better at the closest grocery store! STAY AWAY FROM 1-800-FLOWERS.COM.

    Original Review: I sent an apology plant to a friend, and the photo on 1-800-FLOWERS.com had a big beautiful potted hydrangea plant with 6 or more bloom-clusters and a gorgeous mosaic pot for the potting soil. My friend sent me a photo once she received the plant, and it was so pitiful, I was absolutely mortified!!! There was a small plastic pot of soil set inside the much larger mosaic pot and the plant itself had ONE full bloom-cluster and another half cluster only half in bloom. IT WAS HORRIFYING!!!

    I was going to purchase another plant for my boss's wife who recently lost her father, and now I am SO RELIEVED I haven't purchased it yet! I will NEVER use 1-800-FLOWERS.com again. This company is a complete and utter SCAM. Please save your money, and choose a company where you can trust their product quality and ethical standards!

    I ordered a vase of flowers for mom‘s birthday. The arrangement said it came with a happy birthday balloon. It was advertised for $39. I was charged $90. I also wanted to add one additional Balloon at $5.99. I called four different times and never got Balloons. They could not even give me an itemized invoice to show where my $90 went!!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen a business. I will never do business with this company again.

    The afternoon before Boss Day we ordered a bouquet for our boss. At 12 noon I started getting worried that the bouquet had not arrived. I reached out to them. First on their web site, using their tracking which is useless then followed by three calls to their customer service. I first spoke to a lady named Jules, second call I spoke to a gentleman named Marlin and finally I requested a service manager by the name of Chuck, if those were there real names. Mind you, I think this call went to a call center in India since they all had a heavy accent. Never heard of someone from India, if that is where the call center is named Jules, Marlin nor Chuck.

    Marlin, advised me that at 1 pm the bouquet was on route. I asked them for the telephone number to the florist they contacted to make up the bouquet. They couldn't release that information. I asked all three persons I spoke with for their last names. Again they informed that they couldn't give out that information. At 3:06 pm I received a message from 1800Flowers through Facebook Messenger, stating that my flower arrangement was being prepared for delivery. It's 4:04 pm and nothing as yet! Boss Day is Over! Save yourself aggravation and do not use this company for anything. Just go to your local florist. I am sure that they will appreciate you business. NEVER AGAIN! Mario

    I ordered birthday flowers for family member in Germany, their 80th birthday, to be delivered on October 11 but no flowers delivered. I called on 11th because of 6 hr time difference, obviously not to be delivered. Assured & guaranteed that delivery to be made on 12th but again no delivery, could it be the weekend? Well I call on 15th. 5 full delivery days without flowers, so much for guarantee. Call to cancel, was hung up on. I called back but I don't play baseball & have no desire to strike out but customer service literally begged me to allow for delivery at 50% off, I mean like 2 dozen x's, I thought how much can you get paid to beg like that, so I capitulated, only to get later call that no florist could fullfill order, 5 calls & no delivery, if time is money, I am owed!     I ordered flowers to be delivered to my cousin's funeral a week in advance. I was notified by email the delivery was made. Later that evening, I noticed a voicemail from them saying the delivery did not happen. That they couldn't find a florist in the area to handle the order. I was livid! Obviously by that point my cousin's funeral was over. They called again the next day asking for a separate address to send to. I gave them my Aunt's house. They gave me an entirely different excuse saying the order never went thru to the florist because the power was down or something? Regardless, they only refunded me my little $4.99 expedited morning delivery fee. And a lame apology. I ordered the flowers for the funeral. A week in advance.     I contacted customer service on the date I requested my flowers to be delivered. Come to find out there were no “local florists” that we’re able to fulfill my order that day. I had to contact THEM to be made aware. I did not receive any Voicemails nor Emails regarding the issue. Very unprofessional and not very courteous, even though I paid well over $70 for flowers and ordered well in advance.     Tried to have flowers delivered to a funeral in Norway. The process was excruciating, for both the recipient, and me, the sender, with NO RESULTS. Tried twice, 1-800-Flowers.com notification method is beyond confusing to the recipient, with no space for any type of international address available i.e. city, state, and ZIP code required for a foreign country. Summary: This a sick joke at the expense of the grieving parties. DON'T BOTHER.

    On Sunday I ordered a Gardenia plant shown full of flowers on the website & asked for it to be delivered on Wednesday for a co-worker who had eye surgery & I wanted her to be able to smell them since she couldn't see well. I did not hear form my co-worker, so Thursday night I called her & asked if she received the Gardenias, she said she received a plant but couldn't tell if it was a Gardenia & that it didn't say who it was from so she had no Idea who to thank. They did not arrive at all. They followed up, called the florist shop that was supposed to handle my order and they sat on it and did not fill it. Did not notified nobody so on October 10, 2019 at 11:30 AM my mother services began with no casket flowers.     HORBBILE experience. First ordered beautiful flowers on Wednesday for Friday delivery; started emailing and calling Friday around 9 pm as still weren't delivered even though order said processed on Thursday. Finally find out something with their company's payment method and order wasn't processed. Can't deliver now until Tuesday, I don't really have a choice to say ok. Then get a call the next day, they don't have the flowers I ordered. I said, "Ok you can substitute but has to be similar and please upgrade the order to the larger size" - customer service says ok.

    I look now on Tuesday, the order was put in a box in New Jersey on Saturday, shipped to Southern Mass and out for delivery Tuesday - it's been sitting in a box for days? AND they replaced it with something much smaller, $10 cheaper and something I would have never ordered! HORRIBLE. These were really important to receive on Friday after a funeral, design was specifically selected as was size. Now the order means nothing, being delivered way too late and NOT WHAT I WANTED AT ALL. Sorry for the rant but there are a lot of flower delivery services out there now, DO NOT USE THIS ONE.

    I ordered flowers for my grandmother's 95th birthday on 10/1 to be delivered by 10/4 only to have them not show up — no email or text notification as to why there was a delay. I specifically chose an arrangement that would be created/delivered by a local florist since she is in memory care at a nursing home. When I called customer service, I was told the reason they did not deliver was because they did not have the flowers in stock (they were yellow roses, lilies, daisies and carnations — nothing seasonal). He offered me a 50% discount and said he would replace with a similar arrangement that would now be sent FedEx to arrive on 10/8. Not ideal, but I agreed. I had my dad contact the nurse's station to let them know about the delivery so they could handle opening the box.

    When I called today (10/8) to check on the status of the order I was told it would now be delivered on 10/9. At this point, I just wanted to cancel. You'd think that wouldn't be hard to do, but every time I told the rep I wanted to cancel the order, she put me on hold only to come back and offer free delivery and still deliver on 10/9. We must have gone around and around 7 or so times, always with the same offer of free delivery. Every time I asked to speak with her supervisor, and I was put back on hold, only to have the same rep answer the phone and offer free delivery. I finally got her to cancel the order and issue a refund, but seriously???? Now, I need to verify with my credit card company that it was in fact refunded. Something tells me this fight is not over. I will NEVER use this company ever again. I don't know how many more birthdays my grandma has left, but this one was ruined.

    If you want to make sure your wishes to be sent, choose other companies. 1800 is not reliable at all. I ordered the same day delivery service for my best friend's birthday, paid extra money to have the flowers to be delivered during the 9-12 time period, but the flowers were never there and my friend didn't receive my surprise. They wanted to redelivery on the following Monday, however, the birthday is passed and it is something they could not make up.

    I ordered a floral cake and balloon for my elderly Aunt's BD. I ordered on 9/21/19 to be delivered 10/2/19. I received an email at 8:23 pm stating it was delivered. At 11:pm I received another email stating that "sorry we could not deliver because we could not find a florist". I immediately called and the man told me it was delivered. I said before it was not.     We have ordered a few times from 1800flowers.com and ALL THREE TIMES we have tried to do a same-day order, their website says it will be delivered same-day from a local florist, however, NOT ONCE has it been delivered same-day. Furthermore, their service levels state that an "attempted delivery" counts towards their commitments, so we have received a text stating they attempted delivery, but home security cameras at the locations we tried to have them delivered to would disagree that ANY attempt was made. Additionally, once the order is delivered, the order status on the website still shows the orders have NOT been delivered. Once the orders arrive, they are very nice arrangements. So, summary is, they have a good product but commitment to delivery times and status updates are HORRIBLY lacking. I will not be using their services again...three strikes and they are out.

    This was the worst experience I have ever had with any type service/product retailer. My husband sent me the Citrus Bouquet which when it arrived had red roses not the peach/orange roses as in the picture and description. My husband immediately phoned 1800FLOWERS and they stated they would send another bouquet that same day. A customer rep called back and asked how I knew they were the wrong color. I told them that my husband showed me a picture of what it was SUPPOSED to look like and it did not have red roses. Then they stated that the florist said they were orange, basically calling me a liar. Now I’m pissed off so I asked where I could send them pictures so they could see that they are red and not orange. I sent them pictures and expected a call back.

    After calling 5 times and being on hold for over an hour (this is on my birthday), I asked for a full refund. No problem, we have to wait for a supervisor. Then I received an email stating that another delivery would happen on Monday, despite being told I would receive a full refund.The florist assumed my husband was a woman because his name is Tracy so they didn’t anticipate that I would know that they were the wrong color as they thought it was sent to me from a sister. Very underhanded and untrustworthy florist that should be reconsidered as a vendor. I will NEVER use 1-800-FLOWERS again!

    I ordered one dozen white roses for my college daughter's initiation. She received them the day she should have, only they didn't look anything like the picture. They were falling over the side of the vase, and look as those they had opened and started to die already or simple half dead.     I ordered a flower arrangement from 1800 flowers. I paid $150 for them to deliver a 1 flower base and set. (1 flower.) They were pretty happy in taking my money. However I wasn't told the arrangement would be deliver via FEDEX. In a box. I expected they would send with a local florist that would deliver, I paid delivery...$35 dollars. Instead they used FedEx. Deliver in a box and left the box in the counter of a business, since the person had left because they got late. I put a complaint and no one in their business had the time to write back or make it right. They take your money and deliver flowers. That is it. Not a business to create memories or wow their customers. Never ordering again from this place.

    Ordered flowers for my best friend in Montreal for her birthday. Order processed without any problems, with correct address and postal code. And my credit card was charged. Called the next day at 6 pm to enquire about the status of the order, and was told it was on its way and would be delivered within the hour. Called again at 9:30 pm, and after being put in hold for 20 minutes, was told they don’t deliver to that area and my order couldn’t be made. So my best friend thought I had forgotten all about her birthday. Unbelievable. Do NOT use this company. Use FTD instead.

    Order get well flowers, bear, and balloon. Paid extra for them to deliver on a Sunday. Receive confirmation email that they were delivered. What I ordered was never delivered. Recipient never received the flowers. I called them upon finding this out, and they tried to tell me that they had a confirmation that a nurse had signed for them. I asked for a copy of the signature, which I was then told that they couldn't provide that. Of course they couldn't because flowers were not delivered! Spoke to hospital. There was no delivery. I then told them I wanted to be re-reimbursed, which they then did, and now I just have to wait to see it I get my money back. Absolutely the worst company. Cheating customers out of their money, by not sending what you paid for, or simply not sending anything!

    I ordered the Extra Large Fields of Europe arrangement for someone's birthday plus a balloon. They received an arrangement smaller than the smallest arrangement listed on the site plus no balloon. The arrangement was hideous and clearly looks like an amateur put it together. No height, no volume. There was no filler, no sunflowers, the vase was wrong, the flowers were all open and old. I complained, they promised me the second one would be perfect and upgraded from a balloon to chocolates. She got the 2nd arrangement and it looks exactly like the first except that she got 2 sunflowers added. She also DIDN'T get the chocolate.

    I was furious that I paid money for those ugly arrangements so I asked for a refund. They kept trying to give the recipient more arrangements from the same place. Why? She doesn't need more garbage arrangements. They finally conceded, however... they've been calling the recipient nonstop. They're harassing someone who has no idea what's going on. I called and asked them to stop and note it in my account but they haven't. What a horrible company. Never again.

    I purchased a large peace lily and beautiful pot to be delivered three states away to my friend following the death of her mother. The plant wasn’t delivered for several days AND it was MAILED!!!! They charged me a $25 delivery fee to MAIL a peace lily!! I can’t imagine what my friend actually received and she’s much too gracious to complain. These people took advantage of me knowing this! How can you MAIL a live plant of any size or value?!?!     I was order flowers for my boss's birthday. I set the date and gave the address. I put my credit card information in and at the end there was an additional $14.99 charge that was not explained. I had to call. I spoke with Shawn. He was knowledgeable at all. He gave me the wrong information. He charged my card twice. He kept me on hold for 46 minutes before returning. I asked for a supervisor. She stated she would do a full refund for both charges and it would take 24-48 hours. Two days later no refund. Call again this morning. I was told 2-3 weeks. I will never order from them again and I hope anyone reading this will think twice about placing a order with 1800-Flowers.com

    I ordered the Precious Pedestal by Southern Living from the 1800Flowers website for my wife on our 20th anniversary, I picked this arrangement because it looked similar to what we had at our wedding (it had the pink roses and other pink flowers). I ordered the large, paid extra because I really wanted my wife to say wow!

    Boy what a disappointment, the flowers that were delivered did not even look anything like what I ordered. It did not even have half as many flowers as what was in the website picture, even less than in the small arrangement picture, the roses that were in the delivered flowers were white and half dead (not pink and only 6, not the 8 in the picture, there were only about half of the flowers that were in the picture on the website). It was totally missing all of the lavender cremones and the other smaller flowers in the picture. If you want to disappoint someone you should order from 1800flowers, otherwise stay away from them, you will do better at a grocery store... I wish I could attach a picture to this review.

    On 9/23/19 I ordered flowers for a funeral on 9/27/19. The service was scheduled at 2pm and I requested delivery in the morning to ensure they arrived at the church in a timely fashion. Not only were the flowers not delivered, but I wasn't notified of an issue until a voice mail was left during the funeral. When I returned the call (after the service) I was informed that the florist was unable to make the arrangement and they could send a different one to the family on 10/5. First, why was I not notified until during the funeral? Surely the florist was aware well before the 27th that I needed to select a different arrangement. Second, with an issue such as this (related to a funeral) why would there not be a way to send something to the family earlier than a week later?

    Lastly, when I called the number left in my voicemail I spoke with a customer service person who said he could not assist me as another representative had already "opened" my issue and I would need to keep calling back every 5 - 10 minutes until I could speak to the correct person. When I requested that the person call me (it was a family funeral - I couldn't be calling repeatedly!) I was told this wasn't possible. Someone subsequently called me to tell me they could send something different on October 5th (a week later for a funeral??).

    When I requested cancellation she offered me a 50% refund. When I requested to speak to a manager to obtain a full refund she then proceeded with the refund. I feel the entire situation was unprofessional and aggravating. The fact that it was associated with the loss of a family member makes it even worse. I have ordered flowers from this company many times in the past and have never had issues. Because of this awful experience I will not be ordering from them again.

    I Cannot believed these people are in business. I ordered flowers on Sept 20th for a Sept 25 delivery date. On the 25th at about 4:15pm I hadn’t received a confirmation that the flowers had been delivered, so I called to check the status of my order. The gentleman I spoke to first told me that my order had been automatically canceled because I modified the card online when I should have called, I then asked why did it give me the option to do it online if it’s not allowed? He places me on hold for 10 min. He comes back on the line and says the best he could do was have them delivered on the 26th...

    I was furious. If I wanted them delivered on the 26th that’s the date I would have chosen. I asked if I could just cancel my order, he said yes but they can only refund HALF of what I paid, company policy. I ask to speak to a supervisor. I'm placed on another 10-15 min hold still NO supervisor. Same idiot babbling offering me a $20 off coupon for my next order, are you kidding? I will never use your company again and this is the SECOND time this has happened to me!!!!     I ordered flowers for my daughter on her 21st birthday. The flowers delivered were not even close to flowers ordered. The only similarity was color scheme. The flowers delivered would probably be around $19.99 in any store in terms of value of flowers vs $65 charged. I asked for re-delivery and this saga went on for a week. Several times I was promised delivery and it never happened. Finally I asked for a refund and was told that they can only refund 50% based on their policy. Customer service is terrible, they don’t call back, they don’t follow up. Flowers created by local florists are not quality assured. Will never order again!

    If I couldn’t give negative star rating I would! I’ve had two BAD experiences with this company. Once with flowers I was having delivered to IL for my mom’s 60th Birthday which never got delivered and just recently. I ordered an edible arrangement thank you which was supposed to be delivered Thursday 9/12, it wasn’t. I called that evening and spoke to John in their C.S. He said they would contact local delivery office to have a fresh one redelivered Friday 9/13. By 3:00 pm it still wasn’t delivered, another call was made to C.S. I talked to John again and I was told it was out for delivery. Well at the close of business Friday, it once again never got delivered.

    Monday morning 9/16, I called C.S. and got John again and was told I would get credited for the full $59.99 and it could take a couple days. I still have NO credit and it’s been 5 business days. I will not use this company or any of its affiliates going forward. I will also pay double the money to support local businesses where C.S. is priority. The frustration, energy, time involved trying to resolve this issue which still isn’t resolved is not worth their seemingly cost conscious prices! My recommendation is DON’T DO IT! Buy local instead (or local to where item is being delivered)!

    Ordering went smoothly - but it was like ordering from a fast food restaurant. No special touches were discussed - but the most humiliating part was that the rainbow roses were delivered in a box with a vase on the side and no moisture for the flowers. They were not arranged. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and I wanted a special display of roses- instead my wife had the job (at work) to try to get a nice arrangement created-for which she could not afford the time to do so. Maybe I should have questioned if they would be arranged but my assumption was that they would be- or at least the sales person could have told me how they would be delivered- (followed the directions and they only lasted a few days) so disappointed. I will not order from 1-800-Flowers again.

    Recently I posted a not to glowing experience with 1-800-FLOWERS. The flowers were late in the delivery and the bouquet size incorrect. My first contact with 1-800-FLOWERS did not resolve my dispute. I reached out again and also posted with ConsumerAffairs. Customer Service Representatives were relentless to rectify the problem I experienced. I feel compelled to change my original rating. I just wished the first customer service agent was as proactive. Thank you 1-800-FLOWERS for making it right!

    I ordered a birthday floral bouquet to be delivered to my daughter-in-law in the morning. The website guaranteed a morning delivery. I received a confirmation email in the morning stating the flowers were delivered, however they hadn't been delivered. My son informed me that they never arrived. They did eventually get delivered, quite late and not the correct size that I had ordered. Small floral bouquet was created and a more pricey large bouquet ordered. I reached out to 1-800 Flowers to rectify the mishap. The Customer Rep was very nice, kept me online for an inordinate length of time (over 30 minutes) verifying all sorts of details and then said to make things right 1 800-Flowers would send another floral bouquet the very next day. That did not happen. I feel duped and very disappointed with a floral company that was rated highly. Do not use 1-800 Flowers! They are not an honest business nor do they follow through with their customer commitments.

    I had a Sympathy flower delivery order for Friday Sept 13th @ 1:30, I got a confirmation delivery email an hour later. Then at night I had a phone message that there was a mistake and it is not delivered by local florist. It will be delivered on Saturday before noon and I mentioned it need to be delivered because they will leave for funeral in the afternoon on Saturday. They assured me it will. Then I didn't get any confirmation email.

    I called again Saturday evening at 6:00, they said, "It is delivered. Oh no we don't know, wait, it is not delivered." I asked, "What now." They said, "Sunday we will deliver, we don't know when," and then they said, "Oh no, Monday." I asked to talk to manager. Manager called me back in 15 minute said, "Sorry for inconvenient, we will deliver in Tuesday." Can you believe this? This is SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I was representing a group and this was so terrible I had to cancel my order because nobody would be in the location anymore after Sunday noon. They did not try to keep their promise or correct their mistake twice. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE.

    A funeral is an emotional time anyway, and when you spend 48 hours worrying about whether you'll see the flowers you ordered, it's very stressful. 1-800-Flowers couldn't guarantee delivery before 10 am the day of the funeral, so I ordered it to be sent the day before. I explicitly filled out the form with detailed information that this was being sent to a church. They said it would be by 6 pm. There was a supposed tracking button, but nothing ever showed up on it the day of delivery. I used the chat box, no response. I emailed. No response, Finally I got a human, and he said it would be there by 8 pm. I told him nobody would be at the church at that hour, so he should call me so I could meet him there. Crickets. No call, nothing. 30 minutes before the funeral the next day, they finally arrived, and I was a nervous wreck. NEVER depend on 1-800-Flowers when it really counts. And with flowers, most often, it REALLY counts.

    I used this company to send a thank you gift to a dear friend. My choice was a $100 Orchid plant. The plant as previewed on the website was about 2 1/2 feet high with two stems holding multiple small blossoms one of which was taller than the other and arched. The actual specimen that was delivered was considerably smaller with two wilted blossoms on two straight and equally sized stems. I was shocked and embarrassed when I saw just how inferior the product that was delivered by 1800FLOWERS appeared. My disappointment was such that I felt compelled to complain to the company via the comments section on their website. That was 3 days ago and I have yet to hear back. I will never use this company again, it is obvious that you cannot trust them to deliver the product that they depict on the site.

    I ordered a fall bouquet for my friend's birthday. Picture she sent me wasn't even close to what I ordered but she is happy with what she received. I tried using the 15 percent coupon when ordering flowers for my daughter. It rejected. Tried to unsubscribe and got an unsecure site so it rejected and I'm still subscribed. Stay away from this company. By the time they add all their extras your flowers cost you much more than Teleflora.

    Today is my dead daughter's birthday and my fiance was attempting to surprise me with a delivery. They called me twice and ruined his attempt to do this and on the 2nd phone call actually informed me the flowers he ordered could not be delivered because of lack of drivers in the area. Same day delivery my butt. Their company sucks at managing their business and keeping their promises.

    I ordered flowers for a funeral that I was not able to attend last week. The very next day I received an email that a delivery was attempted and not able to be made. Never received anything else after that and status always said the same “processing for shipment.” On the morning of the funeral I chatted with someone via online and they said the flowers were just delivered at 11:41am (after funeral). I figured I’d finally receive a confirmation delivery email, but nope. I called and an automated person said order was still processing for shipment. I talked to a live person and they confirmed the delivery time above and that an email confirmation would be sent to me. Instead, I was sent a duplicate of my order.

    I called again the next day and they assured me that a delivery confirmation receipt would be sent to me within 24-48 hours. Did that happen? NO. Meanwhile, the status of my order has always stayed the same. I’m beginning to think if my order was even delivered and I’ve been misled the entire time. How hard is it to send a delivery confirmation if it in fact took place? It hurts to think those flowers may have not been delivered since I was not able to attend the funeral. At this point, 1-800-Flowers cannot do or say anything to make the situation better. I will never use them again. They have lost my trust. Buyers beware!!

    Never again will I use this service, I placed a "same day order" at 6:10 a.m. yesterday. Paid extra money for a specific delivery time frame. 10:45 I received a voicemail saying contact them, there is a problem with my order. I call to be informed it took them almost 5 hrs to determine the florist they assigned to my order did not have the flowers for the arrangement I chose but not to worry, they found one that did. Then at 2:45 p.m. (my order was supposed to be delivered by 3 p.m. the latest) I get another message to call them. This time I am informed the florist they assigned will not deliver because my wife's job is out of their delivery area.

    At this point I tell the rep I no longer care about the specific arrangement, it's my 21 yr anniversary and I just need flowers delivered to my wife. She tells me not to worry, she will make the calls necessary to ensure this happens then call me back. I received no such call, instead I get an email saying they attempted delivery but were refused, LIES!!! My wife works in an outpatient surgery center with at least 20 people on duty at all times, all of which know her. So.... I call again to demand refund. I am assured I will get a FULL refund. Then I get an email stating I will be reimbursed 90.12. My order total, which was already pulled from my bank after the 6:10 a.m. order was placed, was 98.91 so... yes, you guessed it, I call AGAIN!!

    At this point I'm pissed. I ask for a supervisor, after being on hold for 47 minutes I am told they can't get one, I guess there's no supervisors at foreign call centers. Next I ask to speak to someone in their billing dept. When I finally get a person she tells me she has reviewed my situation and I will be reimbursed my full purchase price of 93.91. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? After another 20 minutes of their runaround, finally, I assume by divine intervention, the woman was able to see I paid 98.91 and stated I would get a full refund, this was followed up by an email that said I will get a refund of 90.18, you cant make this crap up.

    So, at this point I have not received ANY refund. I will patiently wait until the next business day, being Monday, to see if I get my refund in full. Who would have thought ordering flowers would require a ** just to deal w the incompetence and unprofessionalism of 1-800-Flowers. P.S., I only gave them that 1 star because you have to to be able to file this review.

    Flowers were supposed to be delivered on Friday 5/9. On Saturday I ask my Step-Mom if she got them, and she said, "no." I e-mailed them, then called them. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, and spoke with 3 different people. The first told me all they can do is re-deliver on 5/14. She then upped her offer and said I could have $20 off of my next order, and a re-delivery on 5/14.

    At this point, I feel I am one of the lucky ones. I asked to speak to her supervisor since she didn't have the authority to refund me, or make sure my delivery was there earlier than 5/14. After more time on the phone with her supervisor, I asked again to speak to someone else who could help me since she was not able to. I then spoke to someone who said they were on the executive customer service team, and finally got a decent result. I was refunded 100% and the flowers will be delivered on 5/14. The first two were definitely outsourced and barely spoke English, the third was definitely located elsewhere and seemed to have some actual authority. Skip to today... I get a call from another agent saying the delivery can not be made. Apparently, all of their vendors are out of tulips? Memphis isn't a small city, not sure how they are out of tulips. Ridiculous run around and horrible product. NEVER again.

    One month before my Goddaughter was scheduled to arrive back into the country I ordered a bouquet to welcome her home. After it didn't arrive in the am as scheduled I online chatted and they said there was a "miscommunication" and guaranteed that flowers would be there by 3 pm. By 345 pm no flowers and they could not reach their local vendor and had no clue if a bouquet was on its way. By then no one was going to be home to receive a delivery. They couldn't reschedule a delivery until 2 days later so I demanded refund. Tried to give only half back but finally said they would give full after I argued. Also said two days before I will see refund on card, so not holding my breath. Don't rely on this unreliable company!!!! Internet Scam!

    Ordered same-day delivery of a large bouquet and 2 mylar balloons for friends' birth of first son ($108). 11 hours later, and still no delivery notification. Called 1-800-Flowers Customer Service where I was told that one florist declined my order because they don't deliver to hospitals. Second florist was closed until Tuesday. Not once throughout the entire day did 1-800-Flowers think to phone me to tell me my options. They were just going to have everyone wait four days to get delivery! To a hospital where couple could already have been departed! Unbelievable! I canceled my order, and now it's too late to make other flower arrangements. Worst customer care ever! Word of advice... Just Google local florists in the delivery area and send your flowers that way. You will get better service, guaranteed no screw ups. Good Housekeeping #1 flower service?!?! No way!

    I placed a same day order for a 60th birthday flower delivery - not only was it never delivered, they “couldn’t get in touch with the florist, sent me a false confirmation email saying it was delivered - horrific experience overall. Would never recommend them or use them again. They supposedly will refund my card but cannot send anything in writing saying this - no email to confirm this & are unsure how long it will take to post to my account. I’m not even sure how they can call they selves a real company.

    Worst experience ever, this people charge twice for your order and they pretend to explain is just a hold and they make you unable to use your money from 5 to 7 days until. Bank release funds, I can just ask myself what about that people who depends on that money to survive the week. Just another system that cares only by them and not customers. Even worse, call centers without anyone who you can really speak English, my 1 year old has better pronunciation, and either fun, they add "thanks for enjoy the app". Stay away.

    My experience with 1-800-Flowers in June 2019 was fine. I went to use them again this week and their online ordering site went down after I entered my credit card information. I called to place the order but never received a receipt. I have called for 3 days and spoken with 4 CS reps who all read off the same script and promised to email me a receipt within 24 hours. I believe this to be a scam out of the Philippines, I have emailed corporate with no response. I have tried canceling the order, but they claim it is in process. I now have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges, but fear my information may be compromised. What is going on? I just finished reading a list of almost daily complaints too similar to mine. Do NOT use this company!

    This was the worst customer service I have ever received. They dropped off the WRONG flowers, I asked for them to send a new one and they went to my house on my mothers birthday TO PICK THE FLOWERS UP and take them away from her. This was the worst experience and I could have got better flowers at Walmart. I am so beyond upset with my experience. It ruined my present to my mother who lives 2,000 miles from me.     After repeatedly trying to place an order on-line with this company I had to call Customer Service in the Philippines! As i write this review, my daughter has still not received her flowers. I still have not received a receipt for my order either. This company is the absolute worst. I have called to inquire about my order and ask about my receipt via email and each time the CS agent takes my email address. At no time during the ordering process was I told that the flowers would probably arrive around 8pm! Why would I send a bouquet of flowers and a balloon for my daughter's birthday if I thought she wouldn't get it until the day was nearly over. THAT IS CRAZY!!!

    And what is worse is I have spent so much time on the phone with these very unapologetic people!! What happened to this company?? I use to use them when I lived on the West Coast?? Is that the difference? I live on the East Coast now! I feel like the florist they are dealing with deliberately makes 1-800-Flowers customers wait all day and into the evening!! I won't order from this company again! I have been on hold now for 35 min with corporate just trying to get a receipt for my order! Pitiful.

    Zero stars isn’t an option but that’s what they deserve. They hire (**) with fake American names that can not speak good English and read off a cue card. They lie and say that they fixed the problem. 3 phone calls to the stupid people and was promised delivery the same day, not only did they mess up the date, but never corrected their mistake. The flowers were never delivered, and when I finally called corporate, the only thing that came up was that I canceled the order. Not one thing was in the computer saying I had called or that there was a problem. The person from corporate was very nice and very understanding but still nothing was done. Do not use this company! Take the time to find a local florist and call them. My daughter will get flowers, they are a day late but are at least going to be delivered by a local florist in her area. No more ** dealings for me. We are in America, hire Americans!

    I received a bouquet of flowers from my work for my Father's funeral, FedEx delivered it while we were at the visitation. The delivery guy didn't leave a ticket on a window to let me know they were there and I wasn't aware they were sending it. I found them a week later on my front porch and this was the first of August. I chatted with FedEx and they pushed it off on 1-800-Flowers, so I tried them and they made it right! I can't believe how sympathetic and supportive they were! They were awesome! I'm getting some more flowers to replace them and I know when they are coming this time. So 10 stars for 1-800-Flowers and 0 stars for FedEx. I will order from 1-800-FLOWERS from now on!!! Thank you so very much! It meant a great deal to me!

    The flowers that were delivered to my sister were not the flowers I ordered. I sent a pictures to them and let them know I was a little upset. Right away they offered to replace them and give me a coupon towards my next order. Three days later they asked that the original bouquet be returned. I couldn’t believe they didn’t tell me this was required when they offered to replace them and why wait three days to let me know. That doesn’t make sense. Terrible customer service!

    Zero rating not an option but company deserves zero stars. Ordered flowers online 3 days in advance. Got status update morning of delivery saying being prepared. Status never changed throughout day. At 6pm contacted customer service. Wasn't allowed to cancel order and was told flowers would arrive by 8pm. Never arrived. Called customer service following morning and I have allegedly been issued a refund and a $20 store credit. I'll never use the store credit because I'll NEVER order from 1-800-Flowers again but I will be monitoring for refund. Sad part is flowers were for an aunt's possible final birthday as she is in the final stages of lung failure. Thanks a lot 1-800-Flowers!

    I had previously had a bad experience with this company last year but decided to give them a try again, thinking it may have been an isolated incident. Last year, I ordered my mother's birthday flowers to be delivered the day before her birthday, and she did not receive them until 7pm on the night of her actual birthday. I had paid an extra $20 for the delivery. This experience today, I had ordered flowers on behalf of my 14 year old son to send to his grandmother's funeral. I paid $18 delivery (total $55 for arrangement) to be delivered the day BEFORE the funeral to make sure they wouldn't arrive late. Not only did they not arrive the day before, they never arrived the day of, NOT AT ALL.

    When I called customer service, they stated that there were no local florists that worked with their company. I received no call, no email, nothing to let me know so that I could order somewhere else. The lady on the phone said she could try to send tomorrow!!! I said, "The funeral is over, his grandmother is buried... Why would you send them to the funeral home the day after!?!?" They claimed they will give me a refund after I lost my mind on them.. We shall see. I will never use them again.

    I tried to cancel my order 3 days before scheduled delivery and was told it was already shipped and not able to be canceled. The recipient passed away. I did not want a refund but explained the “fresh” flowers and fruit had to be stopped. 3 different representatives told me nothing could be done. Called FedEx and was told the order had not shipped and I was able to cancel the pickup through them. Terrible customer service from 1800Flowers.

    I ordered the XL Summer Dunes to be delivered to my girlfriend at her work.. Her mother just passed away from cancer. She sent me a picture of the flowers, and they did not look anything like what I ordered. 1.) THERE WERE NO ROSES. 2.) It was not the same vase as in the picture. 3.) It was just fill in flowers. 4.) Sloppily hand wrote the note I typed up. I called customer service they told me they could resend the correct flowers the next day. I told them no, I want my money back. They look terrible. Customer service told me they could give me a 50% refund. I said, "No, you messed up and the flowers are not anywhere near correct. I want my money back.."

    I was then told they could give me a 100% refund but the florist would come pick up the flowers. This terrible excuse for a company was going to come take the flowers from my mourning girlfriend.. Of course I am not going to take away my girlfriend's flowers from her in this time, so I took the 50% refund. I blame myself for using such a low quality company. Use a local florist.. DO NOT give your money to this company. They thought I wouldn’t notice or care, and could pull one over on me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    I ordered flowers for same-day delivery from 1-800-Flowers same-day delivery section. I was contacted many hours later to tell me that the flowers would not be delivered and that the florist didn't even have the flowers available. If I had been contacted earlier I could have made an alternate choice, either flowers or florist, however by the time I was notified everyone was closed. No flowers, no options. I will never order from them again for anything.

    I am still in shock!! I ordered flowers to be sent to my uncle's funeral, and paid extra to make sure it got there on time. Only to receive an email hours later to tell me they called, which they didn't, and it couldn't be delivered. Really?? And somehow this can be made up... Way not even close! How would you feel if you sent flowers to your loved one, in a case where you couldn't be there, and this is the outcome. Never again!! Please don't use them.

    Tried to have arrangement sent to church on the same day. Website indicated same day delivery. Never received confirmation flowers were delivered. I called the next day and was told local florist could not deliver and that I should have ordered 24 hours in advance! I was transferred to the billing department to request a credit on credit card. After lengthy discussion I was told credit would appear within 48 hours - 5 days later, no credit. Called again.     My husband sent me a box of flowers to my job for my birthday, mind you I work in a corporate office. When I opened the box to set up my purple roses some petals fell off, some were ripped and some were yellowish in color as well as the whole stem wilted. It was embarrassing!!!     I’ll never purchase anything from 1-800 Flowers again. What an ordeal. I purchased flowers for a funeral that were supposed to be delivered today. Not only are they not delivered they didn’t even bother contacting me to tell me that they wouldn’t be delivered. They even charged extra for the Sunday delivery. I only found out because I contacted them regarding status of my order since every time I try to track it I got a message saying they couldn’t track it.

    I told him I wanted a full refund and cancel the order and they responded telling me they’ll deliver it tomorrow and refund half my money. I told her that’s not acceptable as that would be too late and that I demand a full refund and cancelation of the order. She said she processed the refund and it would take two billing cycles. I told her that’s unacceptable and if it’s not showing as a pending transaction in the next few days I will contact the issuer of my credit card and contest the charge. Now it’s a game of wait-and-see if the credit actually appears for the $84.11. I certainly will never patronize their business again and if that credit doesn’t appear I will be contesting the charge. The customer service is deplorable.

    Their partner florists can’t deliver. 1-800-Flowers do not care. Even when they admit that they did not deliver on time, they still will not refund you your money. They offered 50% refund after I refused a reshipment. So... they don’t deliver on time (which you pay for), then they deliver late, then expect you to accept a 50% refund. Not the first time 1-800-Flowers has burned me. But it will be the last. Thanks 1-800-Flowers for taking a very sentimental moment and treating it like a joke.

    I ordered some a spray of flowers for a funeral the day before the funeral. They say order by 200pm and delivery is same day. Great. I ordered at 1245pm. Paid the bill and all done and happy. Around 1000.pm someone from this shady outfit calls and said they could not do it today because the size of the arrangement and the time of the order. She tried talking me into settling for a home delivery the next day. I ordered to get them for a funeral and not a residential celebration. I told them I had till 1000am the next day and again the lady tried to get me to settle for something less and home delivery. She said the arrangement was too big to make the deadline.i was furious. Nothing is too big for a loved ones passing. She insisted to take the alternative and I could even save some money. I was getting even more furious.

    I wanted what I ordered and what they promised to do. I was fed up trying to get this resolved from this shady outfit and told her I will cancel the order and to refund my money. I know a lot of people that use this sorry group and I also think they no longer will, like I told the lady. I would not recommend this outfit to deliver a newspaper, let alone something of value for any kind of occasion. In the end It all turned out ok but by nothing this group did. I should maybe be thankful because the flowers that I ordered wold have probably been weeds instead of beautiful arrangement like I was able to get built and delivered within 2 hrs of my call to them. Thank you Hourans Florist in Decatur Illinois. This sorry outfit I was counting really needs to get some training from Hourans before they upset someone else's special occasion. I really doubt that they could satisfy a puppy party.

    Ordered a product for my daughter-in-law birthday. Never received the confirmation nor cc receipt. I've called 3 days in a row, first 2 were they had my email address wrong. The 3rd was no real reason, just said they would get it out within 24 hours...yet to see it still. Huge pet peeve is when you call a business and they address you by your first name only to correct them several times until it was tone to be rude. When you hire people that English is their second language, make sure they can understand it as well.

    I made a delivery order on June 28 2019 for a surprise delivery for my husband as it was his birthday. After placing the order online, I received a phone call from them 3 hours later telling me that the delivery could not be done to the area I had requested, really? Why don't you figure this out once the address of the recipient has been inputted??? Then they tell me that they are going to call the recipient being my husband to tell him that the delivery cannot be done... WTH are you going to call the recipient if the delivery was supposed to be a SURPRISE!! Bunch of idiots working there at 1800FLOWERS.

    Sounds like their call center is in India because all the people I have spoken to during this ordeal have been Indian people with heavy accents to where I could not understand them or they me. They are very unprofessional. So now they are making my refund very difficult, almost refuse to refund my money. Good thing I used PayPal and now have an open case dispute with this ratchet company.

    I will NEVER EVER use this company nor would I recommend it to ANYONE!! I will buy what I need and do the delivery myself from now on. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way!!! I left a very negative survey they sent me to my email and now they are calling me and leaving voicemails saying they want to talk to me about the survey I did... Don't waste your time contacting me as I have nothing else to say to you. PayPal will be contacting you and make you give me my full refund to my account. The nerve!!! Don't ever use 1800Flowers. Big disappointment. Read all the negative reviews first, there are hundreds.

    I recently ordered flowers for Mother's Day. The price advertised was $39 but once I clicked submit the summary screen showed $58.28!!! I immediately called in to customer service to get it fixed but they only tried to get me to change my order to a lesser value. There was no summary screen to check order for accuracy but they didn't care. I then asked to cancel my order. The rep said she did and I would get a refund in 10 days. Well, 2 months went by and still no refund. I called back today and they gave me the run around. So I called my bank who did a 3 way call and I finally see the refund in my account. Too much time, aggravation spent!! I will never use them again EVER!!!

    Part 1. Mother's Day, ordered a crystal rose to be sent to my Mother and unfortunately it arrived broken. Called customer service and it was handled without a hitch. (Sorry I don't remember the lady's name I spoke with, but total professional.) Replacement arrived 2 days later. Even had the same personalized card I had written. Way to pay attention.

    Part 2. Mother's birthday a few weeks later, ordered the flower arrangement that looks like a cake. I had never seen this before and thought it was a nice way to display them considering it was her birthday. SCORE! Mom said they were absolutely gorgeous. I received constant notices on the progress and delivery as requested. Their systems works, and works better than a lot of businesses I have dealt with online. 1-800-Flowers, you have a customer for life. Thanks.

    I bought the Celebrations Passport and used it in Nov to send oranges through Harry and David. Spent over 400$. Those oranges are not Honeybells as advertised. Harry and David bought an Arizona farm, and sent those. They are not good. And the products came poorly packaged. Ruined! On contact they resent similar items. Again no honeybells.

    Tried to use the passport several times with computer glitches. Celebrations Passport said it was resolved. It was not. All email documented They even sent a 20$ gift as an apology and it didn't work. Now after all this time... 40 minutes at least 4 times I see the friend I last sent flowers to, and they said they never got them. 1-800-FLOWERS sent me a confirmation that the flowers were delivered. CROOKS. I ASK FOR MY MONEY TO BE REFUNDED... They refused because I used the product. I am telling everyone about this and my son says he never got the oranges in January. I give up. But not without telling everyone how bad this Celebrations Passport is!

    I will never order flowers from this website again. I ordered two dozen of pink roses for my mother for mothers day, her favorite flower. She is in a nursing home in TN and I am in Florida. I ordered these well in advanced time so she would receive her favorite flowers for Mothers Day. I asked my sister who lives in TN to take a picture of the flowers that she received. The two dozen roses costed around $100.00 (Mark Up for Mothers Day). This is what she got. One dozen of roses. Nine of them were white and three were pink. They looked horrible. Bottom of the barrel. Only one dozen now, not two.

    That Monday morning, I called customer service and I let them have it. I wanted a complete refund because what she got was not what I ordered. They only refunded half of my money. I also wrote a letter to the president of the company. The only thing I got for that was a 25% off on my next order. I think it was an auto generated email. Obviously, I wasn't going to order anything else ever from 1-800-FLOWERS.COM

    Here's where the the lies came in day after day. I called customer service back and asked why did I only get half of my money back. I want a total refund. If she would have got one dozen of pink roses that look halfway decent, half of what I paid would have been acceptable, but they looked terrible. Every day I called for about a week, watching my banking account to see if the other half was refunded. When every day the customer service rep kept saying I am doing right now. Never did get the rest of my money. $48.00 for one dozen of shabby roses.

    Please keep in mind, flowers come from local florist of wherever someone is going to receive them, not one huge warehouse where all the flowers are being prepared for 1-800-Flowers.com If you are long distant from relatives like I am. You will never know what they will get. Like I said I will never ever order anything from this company again. People receive cheap bottom of the barrel flowers. The customer service reps are liars and cons. This must be part of their training when someone just wants their money back for something someone didn't get.

    I work hard for my money and I didn't care to pay the $100.00 for the two dozen of pink roses. They were so pretty from the picture online. But I seriously got the shaft and was taken advantage of and that is just not right. Shame on me once, but not twice. So 1-800-Flowers.com, you will never received another purchase from me and I order flowers a lot. Not only for birthdays, get-wells, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and friends. No more of my business.

    Ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. She lives in Arizona. Flowers were shipped from New York. Took 2 days in transit without water. When delivered they never rang doorbell or knocked. She was home all day. She found flowers on patio wrapped in paper and wilting with the vase covered in bubble wrap. I contacted 1-800 Flowers and they apologized. Said a new bouquet will be shipped.

    That delivery day came and went - NO FLOWERS. Called again and they said zip code wrong. Ummm NO! As they were delivered the first time plus confirmed with them and it was correct. They apologized again and said they're going to a local florist and have a new arrangement delivered. That day came and went... No flowers again. My mom said, "Don't worry about calling them again, just get your message out what you went through." My advice to anyone... Call your local florist and have them take care of your arrangement. I've read a lot of reviews and this is a pattern for them.

    Ordered flowers today at 11:30am. I never received notification this evening that my flowers had been delivered. I try tracking my order and it's unavailable. I contact customer service and they tell me that there were too many orders placed and mine didn't make the cut. I received no notification that my order wouldn't be delivered today. I asked for a refund after they said they could deliver on the next available day, but couldn't confirm it would be the actual next day. I am now told I have to wait 1-2 billing cycles before I would receive my refund. They didn't wait 1-2 billing cycles to take my money. I ordered an edible arrangement today as well. That was delivered within a few hours. I will NEVER order 1-800-Flowers again. I'd rather pay twice the amount next time than ever give them my business.

    My mother lost her husband very recently. Her husband sent her flowers on her birthday every year for nearly 20 years! He isn't here to do that for her so I wanted to make sure she still got her birthday flowers. Thanks to this horribly dishonest company, that did not happen! Shorty after placing my SAME DAY DELIVERY order, I received a call saying the delivery had to be rescheduled because "a delivery attempt was made and no one answered the door". Not true. No one went to the house for the door to be opened for. (cameras....) Then I received another call stating the bouquet I ordered wasn't available and a replacement would not only be sent within the hour, but also upgraded. Again, NOT TRUE. Never came.

    They will not only rip you off, overcharge you and promise same delivery, they won't deliver at all and multiple representatives will give multiple different stories, as well as make promises to upgrade to fix the mistake (the mistake was they LIED TO ME!!) and never fulfill those promises!! Then when you tell them to just cancel the order and refund you, they will apologize for the inconvenience and give you the run around while still not helping solve the issue. First and last time I will ever do business with these snakes!!!

    My husband used this company to send flowers to a friend in an Orlando hospital. He paid extra for same day delivery by 8:00pm. We spoke with the patient that evening and no flowers so we got the phone number of the desk that would have received them and they were very helpful and checked the delivery log but had not received anything for the patient. They informed us that there are 3 buildings that could receive floral deliveries and called the other 2 for us but they, too, had no record of delivery. My husband sent a message to the company about the situation. The next day we checked back twice with the patient and hospital but no flowers anywhere.

    Since the company hadn’t bothered to respond to our inquiry as to what happened to the order, I called our credit card company and got a credit for the amount and they are disputing the charge. I don’t know if we just had a really bad experience or they are just a sleazy company but will never use them again or recommend them. Just use a local florist who is part of the tile floral network, never had an issue with that. And to 1-800-Flowers, you might want to look at your customer service which is sorely lacking.

    I ordered flowers for my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day to be delivered at her work as a surprise. I paid an additional fee to have them delivered on that day. They were not. I informed the company of this and they were not helpful. They told me that they would deliver Saturday (two days after) I replied that wouldn’t work because she would not be in the office and requested a refund or change the delivery to her residence. They refused the refund and would not change the address. So after the weekend passed and she returned to work she got her flowers. Which wasn’t what I had ordered initially plus they were broken and low quality. I had more luck buying from a supermarket at a fraction of the cost.

    I did my research and ordered from 1-800-Flowers.com. Please look at the picture of what SHOULD have been delivered to my daughter and new granddaughter. What she got was a bouquet half the size of the Medium one shown, no ribbon, and a smiley face Mylar balloon with “Baby Girl” written across it with a sharpie. The flowers did not even appear fresh. I paid for the passport shipping which was 19.99 so my total charge for this order was $84.76. My daughter sent pictures. The “Wow” factor I should have gotten was completely ruined. This is my daughters first baby and she is in the Navy in Virginia and I’m unable to be there. It makes me very angry that I paid for such ** service. 1-800-Flowers will only refund $31. on the flowers and the $19.99 for the passport shipping. My advice is to call a local florist and order directly. I’m so very disappointed.

    I ordered flowers for my mom’s birthday & paid an extra delivery fee for the day I needed them delivered & purchased the annual passport subscription. Of course, thinking this was a a good business. However, my mom's flowers were not delivered even with the additional charges & when I called after 8 as directed due to flowers being delivered as late as 8 she said the florist closes at 8 & nothing they can do to have them delivered. The best they could do to rectify the situation is call my mom or give me a $3.99 refund, (seriously) or cancel my order.     Terrible communication and customer service. I have used 1-800-flowers for two orders. The first order was placed for my wife's birthday. The week of her birthday I called to cancel the order due to a forecasted winter storm that would happen on the delivery date. I was told that the order could not be canceled, even after persisting and staying on the phone for 30 minutes to explain and re-explain my frustration with the situation. Finally, they offered to change the order date to a later date (after her birthday), refund shipping, and gave me $20 for a future order.

    The second order was for my mom on Mother's Day. I ordered the day before, paid rush shipping to guarantee arrival on Mother's Day, and used the $20 gift certificate to bring the price down to a palatable level. Lo and behold, the order never even shipped and my mom received nothing on Mother's Day, the week after, or even a month after. I had to call A MONTH LATER to find out what happened; oh, the rep told me, "we were out of stock of that item..." Thanks for letting me know. I got a refund and re-issued gift certificate as an apology. No, they didn't ship the item to my mom for free as a way of apologizing. They simply refunded my gift certificate, so it wasn't really any loss on their part. Never again will I let this company ruin an opportunity to show love to my family members. Stay away from them and call a local florist directly.

    Custom Wind Chimes ordered 5/30 as a funeral gift. Estimated arrival at residence on or before 6/5/19. Called on 6/17 to an overseas call center. They informed me that they don't know what happened, it was a problem on their end. Being that this is the fourth consecutive order that has arrived late or not at all, and I pay for the stupid subscription of the passport membership, I asked for a manager. I questioned, "What can you do to make this right." She first offered $20 store credit, that was not going to do it. We settled on 50% refund and confirmation of shipment, which I really feel like the amount of business I've spent over the years, it should have been comp'ed. Needless to say this is where our business relationship ends.

If I order 2 days ahead is because I want them to delivered on 6/14/19 not 6/15/19. Not just that they didn’t processed the replacement nor wanted to refund me. Basically they told me to suck it up.     Ordered flowers to be delivered to a home for a funeral on a Sunday. Delivery was guaranteed by Tuesday. No delivery, no email, no text, no phone call. After my 2nd phone call to them on Wednesday morning, they could not guarantee a morning delivery, even though was a DAY late. Ended up cancelling whole order--no flowers for funeral.     I called to order flowers. They were not delivered. I called to find out why. They said, "Sorry will deliver tomorrow." they did not deliver tomorrow. I called to ask them why. They said they would deliver them the next day sorry. I asked them why they weren’t delivered. Then they said they didn’t have a florist in the area!     Upon learning of a childhood friend’s sudden passing, I immediately contacted 1-800-Flowers online (on 5/29/19) to place an order for the viewing and funeral. I was very clear on my order, i.e., where the flowers were to be sent as well as that this was a “FUNERAL” and that I needed next day delivery. The on-line process seemed easy enough and after finding a perfect purple flower bouquet in a basket, which was my friend’s favorite color, I also found the option to have next day delivery for a small extra fee. To ensure there would be no hiccups with the order, I paid extra for the next day delivery. Not sure why the arrangements were made by the family last minute but I figured if you offered expediting orders this would work.

    I checked and rechecked the site on 5/30/19 to see if my order number had been processed. When the evening of the funeral viewing came and went, Friday morning (the day of the funeral 5/31/19), the status had not changed from PENDING, I opened the online chat option. All I got was an apology and an offer to “message” the local florist. In this day and age, who knows what “messaging” between businesses really meant. This now being the day of the funeral, I needed something done and quickly!

    I had an appointment Friday morning, so I called 1-800-Flowers from my car. By the time I got to a customer service rep, all she could do was apologize and offered to message the florist. I asked FIVE times for a manager and she insisted she could fix this. She then offered to reroute the flowers to another address. What good does that do when you wanted the flowers sent to for a funeral which is where the deceased’s viewing and funeral would be held?

    The customer service rep put me on hold and after several minutes, I had to hang up to meet my appointment. I called back an hour and fifteen minutes later. When I finally got a second CS rep, she offered nothing different from the previous rep and accused me of yelling. YES, I was yelling because I couldn’t believe how insensitive and completely incapable your CUSTOMER SERVICE people were. THESE WERE FLOWERS FOR A FUNERAL, which means this is a time-sensitive delivery.

    Again, I asked for a manager at least five times during this conversation and she insisted she was “experienced” to handle my “issue.” An issue 1-800-Flowers staff created! I told the rep., I wanted her to contact the florist and call me back with a status and a manager to call me back. She insisted she couldn’t call me back and that I had to remain “on the line” for her to go to another line and call the florist. I insisted that she call me back, since my number was on the order to begin with and your company was not going to make me late for the funeral! She finally agreed to take my number and call me back.

    After another hour, a manager (Erika) called me. All she could do was apologize. She said she tried the local florist but believed they evidently weren’t in yet and said she would message them. I said, “You know what, cancel the order and credit my credit card. You cannot guarantee anything at this point and I am done with your company!” All 1-800-Flowers' staff is trained to do is apologize. If 1-800-Flowers really wanted to make this right, the first person I spoke to could have gotten a manager, called me back and guaranteed to me that they would make this right and refund half the amount of my order for having not made the delivery for my friend’s viewing.

    Not only was I upset about my friend’s passing but this company took NO INITIATIVE to rectify this situation with the first phone call. No one should have to grieve through a loved one’s death in conjunction with trying to get a flower order placed. Not sure if it was the employees’ incompetency to process online orders or the employees’ incompetency to find florists reliable enough to complete a flower order. I will never use this company again. What an absolute disgrace considering what this company used to be like. They need to review their company’s mission and retrain their customer service reps or just close up shop!

    I called in my order as I wanted it to be exact. Of course I felt like I was talking to someone in another country. I was very specific in my order that it had to be delivered between 9 am and 12 pm as my significant other only worked until 2:30 pm and didn't want to chance them not getting to her. It is a very important occasion. It was also scheduled for a Friday delivery. So I keep checking the status of delivery and at 1 pm it's still showing as not having left the shop. I call customer service and they tell me that I did not request the 9-12 delivery even though I paid for it, just that the flowers were to be delivered during the day after 9 am. WRONG.

    So my special surprise never made it to her before she left. Not only that, they had the address as " Vista Park Way" rather than "Vista Parkway". Another sign whomever took the order was not competent as I even spelled it for them. SO when entered into a GPS who knows what came up for the delivery person. I can't believe I paid $100 for this kind of service. And to boot, now the flowers will sit in her office all weekend just to start drying out before she even gets them. I called customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do. I am so upset. Never again will I use this company.

    My mother retired and I was very excited to send her a large arrangement of flowers for her last day of school as a teacher. I chose an early time slot for them to deliver, as schools close at 4 pm. They did not arrive on time, and I had to reach out to the local florist who was delivering them. It was very confusing as I had to deal with 1-800-Flowers AND the local florist who made the arrangement. After multiple phone calls, they told me they could not deliver on that day. They said they would have to deliver the next day, which was very upsetting as this was my mom’s last day of work. After this whole mess, when my mom finally did receive the flowers, they were SO small. I could have paid $15 for this arrangement at another store. Instead I spent almost $100 for late delivery, a small floral arrangement, and poor customer service. Just terrible.

    I ordered the small Lovely Lavender Planet from 1-800 Flowers to be sent to my mom in California for Mother's Day, I live in Virginia. Sadly when it arrived it was almost dead. She tried to save it but it was completely dead within two days. I was very disappointed to find this out. I ordered a plant and not cut flowers because I wanted her to have something that would last a long time. So, in the end, I spent $42.68, after tax and shipping, for my mom to get a cute little pot and a dead plant. Very disappointing and I will never order from them again.

    The lady who attempted to take my order asked me who the order is being sent to 4 times, she misspelled my name even though she asked me to repeat the spelling twice, there was a language barrier and she seemed to not understand what I was asking her so I had to keep repeating questions. This is horrible. This has been the worst experience placing a flower order. It was not like this years ago when their customer service call center was based in the U.S.A. Now it is located in an internationally.

    Zero stars would be more appropriate. Ordered flowers to be delivered to my Wife at her work on our 25th anniversary. Paid extra for a specific window time of day they offered as she only works particular hours mid-day. Flowers were not delivered at all, and when complaining to a company rep over chat they offered to waive the delivery charge and give me a $20 discount on my next order. What hubris, to think that I will ever order from them again after this. They didn't even try to contact me and tell me they may not make the delivery on time.

    After the next day, the order confirmation said delivered, but nothing came. On another lengthy chat session they finally agreed to a full refund, after first trying for a 50% refund. Can you believe? They wanted to split the difference? So, in the end all they did was give me my money back, after investing time to deal with the reps and a missed once in a lifetime opportunity, I don't think that makes up for it.

    Their customer service is very good, polite and professional. However, best to visit a local florist. Customer may not get what is pictured, and the problem is even if it states local florist delivery, it may come by FedEx. It's embarrassing to have a box delivered and the recipient has to arrange their own flowers. What brightens their day is a delivery of a beautifully arranged bouquet. The others issue is if it's a business, one would like the arrangement delivered early, so the recipient can enjoy all day. Mine was delivered near closing. Go local.

    For Valentine’s Day this year I ordered roses for my wife a week before Valentine’s Day. Paid the guaranteed delivery. Received the day before and they were not looking so great. Followed the instructions. Presented the day on Valentine’s Day and they were DEAD. My wife was disappointed. I was mortified. Called their Indian call center. Was told we we get a new shipment and coupons. The only thing I have ever received were coupon. No replacement order. NOTHING! Do not order from these jokers!!

    I ordered a gardenia bonsai plant for my mom and it died within a week. It was infested with spider mites. They sent me a replacement and it was also infested with spider mites. I called them and they told me I would get a full refund. A month went by and no refund. I called and they told me a "system error" kept it from processing. If I hadn't looked for it on my credit card I would've never known. Then they only processed a partial refund and proceeded to argue with me on what the correct refund amount was. They are liars and thieves. Do not buy anything from them or their sister companies.

    I had 2 bad experience with 1-800-Flowers. First:5/4/2018, I ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered. It was not received. They promised to resend which they never did. I must deleted this order number. Second: 5/3/2019, my husband ordered me flowers - tulips for Mother's day. The flowers I received were crushed and wilted. My husband contacted them, they promised to resend again before Mother's day but did not receive the flowers. We will not use 1-800-Flowers services ever again.

    1 800 Flowers messed my stuff up. I have senior prom in two days and I ordered a boutonnière from 1 800 Flowers last week and I got a message TODAY that it’s out of stock. Y’all waited a full week to tell me that. Not to mention when I ordered it in the first place I selected the delivery date for May 31st and after checkout it changed the date to June 7th (a week after prom) and I had to talk to customer service (shoutout to Marlon, the only good thing at 1 800 Flowers) to get the date changed back. Fortunately I called my local florist (shoutout to Cinnamon’s Florist in Issaquah). Do NOT trust 1 800 Flowers. They will mess your stuff up too.

    So my best friend was recently dumped by her boyfriend so I wanted to send her flowers to cheer her up. I placed my order Friday before Memorial Day weekend and on Saturday received a call telling me the florist was closed for the holidays. They offered me 50% off which was very generous if I let them deliver it Tuesday after the holiday. So I agreed of course. I got an expensive one for her so half off was awesome and she’d still get them. Come Tuesday nothing got delivered and I received a call. They told me the florist didn’t have the flowers/arrangement I had ordered so they needed to push it to Thursday. I was disappointed but then they offered to throw in a free plush stuffed animal. Although there were hiccups mostly because of the holiday I was very happy with how 1-800-Flowers did their best to make me happy and keep me a continuous using customer. She got them today and needless to say she LOVED them.

    I ordered "Her Special Bouquet by Southern Living" which was presented in a white pitcher. My bouquet was described as an "all around arrangement" for $49.00. When I arrived at the delivery site the arrangement was half an arrangement with a preponderance of greenery and only half the number of flowers promised. Since this was for a table centerpiece, what was delivered was not useful. I asked for a refund and was offered an apology and a new bouquet.

    Because this was for a reunion and the event was concluded, I again asked for a refund. Again I was offered an other bouquet and an apology. I explained that the event was over and all parties had gone home and remarkably I received a third apology and an offer for a replacement bouquet! I informed the person that there would be no one to receive the flowers and reiterated that I wanted a refund. Each time 1-800-Flowers wrote to me it was a different person. Finally I was offered half a refund and yes, another apology.

    Any other business would have had one person handle a complaint like this and frankly would have gladly refunded my money with a promise to improve their procedures. This would have gone a long way in retaining any confidence I would have had for the company. Neither the product nor the customer service I experienced was satisfactory and I would not recommend using 1-800-Flowers to anyone.

    Mother's Day ordered flowers for my mom who lives in Florida. They were delivered but looked absolutely nothing like the photo online of what I ordered. Called customer service. They apologized & had the florist send the correct bouquet next day & issued a $20.00 credit off next order. I had a 2nd floral arrangement on order for a 50th birthday for a cousin in a different part of Florida. And I specifically asked them to inform that florist to replicate the photo of the bouquet I ordered online. Again, the bouquet arrived, looking nothing like what I ordered. Again, I called to have it corrected. Again, another $20.00 credit was issued. A 2nd bouquet was delivered, which still didn't look exactly like the photo online, only this time, they took the 1st bouquet back. Needless to say, you aren't getting what you're paying for & often times have to get it corrected. I will not use this company for flowers again. Too much aggravation. Will look for another company, like FTD.

    My husband ordered me flowers twice this month- the first order was a large tulip bouquet for Mother’s Day. The tulips were tiny and wilted. Nothing like the image online. About a week later I received an anniversary bouquet which included roses and calla lilies. The roses were ok but the calla lilies were brown along the edges and never opened up. I can understand one bad delivery but two within a couple weeks. You would think $200 in bouquets would be better quality.

    I send this bouquet Vibrant Floral Medley which was about $100 and the flowers looked nice but after 4 days started to smell bad and they got dry very fast after 4 days. I also got for another person Fruit Bqts- Celebrating You W/ Balloon + Choco.     My experience delivering flowers to a hotel within Yosemite National Park that was not served by a local florist was excellent. The online site had a wide variety of choices. The roses I ordered arrived to on time via FedEx in a vase and were in excellent condition.     Delivery was made on time. The problem is Arizona is warm this time of year, about 87 degrees. When the flowers came, although they had wet floral bricks, they were somewhat worse for wear as they were in a hot truck for half a day. That isn't the shipper's fault, but maybe they can figure out a cooling packing that lasts.

    My wife had surgery and I wanted her to wake up with a cute "Get Well Soon" arrangement and a balloon after surgery. I ordered at 11am on a Tuesday May 24th and scheduled delivery by 8 pm that day. I received an email around 3pm saying "Delivery Attempted" which was odd since there was someone at the house. An hour or so later I get an email that the flowers had been delivered (which I have a copy) so I thought all was good. I get a call from my son at 10:15pm asking about if the Flowers were going to be delivered? Told him they were and he assured they weren't. I called immediately to customer service which was a nightmare and nothing but lies. The 1st person kept me on hold twice for 16 minutes a piece THEN she came on, said my name and the phone conveniently disconnected.

    I called back immediately, got another rep and immediately asked for a Supervisor. I got AL ID # **. We spoke for over an hour and he apologized for everything and guaranteed the arrangement would be delivered Saturday May 25th and that HE would take care of it personally. Also he indicated a full refund of $84.49 would be given as well. Got up Morning of May 25th. Called to check in and no delivery still by 10 am....I called back to Customer service and got Adonna ID # ** and asked for a supervisor. I got Bernard. When I asked for his ID# he said he didn't know it off hand, but when I pressed he gave me ID# **.

    I explained and he said it would have to be Tuesday delivery not Saturday as they promised again and failed to do so. Said they would deliver Tuesday the 28th and would refund my money. I want people to be warned for I feel with all the reviews I saw, this place is a scam and a fraudulent business covered in lies. NEVER, EVER use this business FRAUD and Liars... That ruined a moment that can never be given back.

    I have been a customer of 1-800-Flowers for over 12 years. I am a realtor and use them for gifts for my clients purchasing new homes. If I have an open house and I need some flowers I Call them. I have used them for funerals and for - get-well occasions. The delivery time has almost always been 100% on time with the exception of one time we had a tropical storm and they still got my delivery there. The prices are good as well. Thank you.

    I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. 2 dozen roses. When she received them the stems were dry. 6 of the roses were dead in less than 24 hours. I emailed 1-800-Flowers.com to complain. They offered to send out another bouquet of my choice at no charge the next day. I picked one and they confirmed my choice. The next day came and went and she did not get anything. I complained again and they said they would not only send the new choice but refund half my cost for the 1st order within 24 hours. Well, here we are, May 24th and she never received the 2nd delivery and I have never received a refund. That is the last time I use this company. I have had flowers from the grocery store last way longer than these flowers did.

    I ordered 24 multi colored roses on May 3, 2019 to be delivered on May 9th to my mom to avoid the Mother's day rush. My mom received her roses around 8pm on My 9th. They were all either brown, dead or falling apart. I called customer service and they would not send a redelivery till Wednesday the 15th. Not happy with that answer but I had no choice. Wednesday came and STILL NO FLOWERS! I called customer service and they said the Arrangement I had ordered was no longer available and would deliver 24 assorted roses on Friday. Once again, Friday came and NO flowers!! So I called customer service AGAIN... This time they told me that the roses were not delivered cause the florist was out of them, but they would send an arrangement comparable to what I ordered and would be delivered Tuesday May 21st. (All these times I was never notified of the non-delivery.)

    Surprisingly my mom finally got her roses. 12 pink roses to be exact with lilies in a pink vase. Nothing like what I ordered and even though the flowers are alive and look ok they are still dingy looking with little brown spots all over the flowers and leaves. My advice... DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Everything about them is awful from the flowers to customer service (which is all outsourced, they barely speak/understand English and they never deviate from their scripts!).

    The first time I tried ordering flowers was for my daughter's birthday. They were to be delivered to her at gymnastics practice and didn't come. I called after practice and was told that they tried contacting to let me know they were rejected by the florist and they had tried contacting me. They NEVER tried contacting me... At this point I told them I expected a refund of my money and they told me they were still being sent but to be delivered on another day. I explained to them that that would not work since she won't be at Gymnastics on the day they were talking about and the whole point was to have them delivered on her birthday. After 45 minutes of arguing and her finally taking to the manager my money was refunded and I received a $20 off code for my next purchase.

    Well I tried it again today and guess what, same thing!! Nobody ever tried to contact me, however, customer service says there is a note that I hung up (even though I didn't). This is the 2nd time I have tried ordering from 1-800 Flowers and both times have been a bust. When I call and am told they will be delivered a different day, that is unacceptable. Typically there is a special occasion when people order flowers and if I am spending $50-$70 for flowers they should be delivered on the day I pick, especially since it says they will be when I placed the order. Last time I was given a $20 gift card to try them again, which I used on this order. I had to cancel this order because it won't be delivered today and they will not reissue the $20 gift card back... What a joke. They keep trying to push to have them delivered on another day but why/how do they not understand why it doesn't work like that????

    1-800-Flowers upsold me with an additional product for my same day order, then did not deliver that product with my original order. Seeing as I had no need for that product if it could not be delivered with the rest of my order (the recipient was no longer there the next day), I attempted to cancel the additional product and was told, in so many way, that there was no earthly way to refund my money and the best they could do was issue a $20 credit toward a future purchase. Trust me, there won’t be a future purchase.

    My husband wanted to surprise me for Mother's day by getting a $75 bouquet delivered on Mother's day. He paid the extra money for same day delivery. He waited.... and waited. Nothing. My husband is not a people person and he has never gotten flowers for anyone before me, so this was a double kick in the groin. 1.5 hours I spent on the phone with customer service reps who BARELY spoke English. I spoke with 3 different agents... all telling me, that they were sorry. That they would send out a new bouquet RUSH! And that each one of the agents would take "personal responsibility" for this order. Bull pucky!

    Each of these damned agents cancelled the orders after they put them in. 3 orders, each one cancelled. I even had them change the delivery date to my birthday. TODAY! MAY FRICKEN 20, and I just called. 9 FRICKEN 20 pm and no flowers. Don't use this company. Please don't use this company. They lie, they are nincompoops. Go local! Screw 1-800-Flowers!

    On Friday May 17 I placed an order to be delivered to our friend's Mother's funeral that was supposed to be delivered on May 18 by 9:00 am. I come into work Monday and get a voicemail from Saturday at 2:42 to call them about my order. I tried calling several times after speaking with the first representative that told me the local florist that they work with never delivered our order. I said I want my money refunded and going forward I will not be using their services. She said they still could be delivered to another address at 50% off instead.     Ordered Mother's Day flowers- large expensive arrangements for mom and very elderly, sick mom in law. I received an email stating that my mother in law flowers were delivered. So a few days later when we spoke on the phone I asked how the flowers are and that is when I was told that she never got any. So- I called and spoke to someone named "Julie Mae". She apologized over and over and wanted to call herself to apologize and I said, "No - please just have them sent the next day (which would make it Wednesday after mothers day)." Btw- she implored me to give her a rating of 10 on the email she said that would follow our phone call. The next day around 9 PM east coast time I called my mother in law- expecting to hear that she received the beautiful flowers- but NO. Again- no flowers delivered..

    I called and this time- the "customer service" person put me on hold for 10 minutes and then got back to me saying, "Yep looks like she never reordered them for you". She then put me on hold two more times- and I am not kidding you- the whole call took almost an entire hour! For NOTHING! I was so over it at this point- that after she offered a coupon of 20 off for a FUTURE purchase I said, "Just forget it - please refund my order as I will not be purchasing in the future". I had been their customer for over 30 years! I never went for the cheap discount carnation type flowers- but the nicer larger arrangements, etc. NEVER again. I am NEVER ordering from them again.

    Oh and I did email the company to let them know as they would have a record of my two calls and see what happened. I am sorry to say that they must be so big that it just does not matter how the customer is treated. There are many other flowers delivery groups that now that I have looked around do a better job - and have much better prices. SO thank you to 1-800-Flowers - as from now on I will save money and time and frustration by ordering from ANYONE ELSE but them.     I placed my order for Mother's Day 2 weeks before the date and scheduled delivery the day before Mother's Day because of my past experience with these guys. Not only did they fail to deliver the flowers on the date I requested, but they listed them as delivered on their website, so I didn't even think to call them. It was only on Mother's Day, when I called Mom, that I discovered they weren't delivered.

    So, I called 1800Flowers. They promised me that they would be delivered that day. They didn't do that either. I called them, and they offered to cancel everything and refund my money. Let me get this straight. What I tell my Mom? It's the thought that counts?? They offer me a 50% refund and a $70 certificate on the next purchase, and they will try to deliver them the next week. I asked them how can I trust them? It's been a week, and I still haven't received the $70 certificate. My advice - record your phone calls with them and get a good lawyer. They don't care.

    I send flowers or online gifts about twice per month. Had never used 1-800-Flowers.com, but decided to because of the Ebates discount. Huge mistake. I paid extra to have flowers and strawberries delivered on a Saturday before Mother’s Day. They actually asked if it wasn’t done on Saturday, would Sunday be ok. I said yes, since Mother’s Day is on Sunday. Never got there Saturday or Sunday. Emailed multiple times. My Mom finally found them on her front door on Monday night. Flowers wilted and chocolate covered strawberries ruined. Whoever delivered them didn’t even ring the door bell. She was home all day, and they just left the order outside in the sun. She lives in Florida. Waste of money. Will never order from them again! Have emailed since, they don’t even respond. Wish I had looked at their ratings before I ordered. Now I understand the horrible ratings.

    I've reached out to 1-800-Flowers now twice as I received zero response from my initial contact made on 05/09 via an online form fill to register my complaint that I was overcharged in conjunction with receiving the wrong item. I've attached a few screenshots of what I ordered (it came with a Happy Mother's Day balloon) vs. what I received. I ordered a PLANT & not a mixed arrangement with flowers and sticks sticking out of the top. It’s beyond a skimpy and ridiculous rendition of what I purchased. It’s representative of false & misleading advertising that falls in violation of the FTC’s Truth In Advertising Law. If this company ran out of nursery stock to not make the plant as represented in their photo, I should have been contacted to be told if I wanted to continue with my order or cancel it. The company promotes a "100% Smile Guarantee" which states that they will "make it right" or refund your order with no questions asked.

    I called 05/11/19 at approximately 8 AM EST & spoke with customer service agent Nina (agent ID **) and she told me she couldn't help me with the "100% Smile Guarantee" nor was willing to help with my other bone of contention with being overcharged. I used a 15% off coupon at checkout which brought my total to $61.36, but I then was charged $69.37. I filed a claim with Paypal as well. I have zero intention of giving these folks a dime of my $.

    I'll reach out to the FTC separately for false & misleading statements and advertising once my credit card dispute is closed. Their warranty statement & my experience in seeking a refund is in direct violation of the Federal Warranty Law, which states, “ If your ad uses phrases like "satisfaction guaranteed" or "money-back guarantee," you must be willing to give full refunds for any reason.     Unfortunately, I got the bait and switch and overpaid for something I didn't order. I’ll never do business with this deceptive business again. Admission is 3/4 of the law; in the case of 1-800-Flowers.com, the other 1/4 is sheer neglect. Neglect is easier than admission; it simply results in a credit card chargeback. However, neglect will get you reported to the FTC.

    I wish they had more options and prices to pick from. Maybe offer plants with some silk flowers or silk plants with some cut flowers. This would leave something for the person to enjoy. Also announce who they are from.

    While the flowers are inexpensive, they have been low in quality. Even though they ship a short distance for me, many are often unopened and the volume of leaves and petals that fall off is startling. The packaging makes them appear cheap as well.

    My son ordered Mother's Day flowers for my wife. We called customer service - They claimed they attempted delivery but nobody was home. They didn't leave a note and we never saw any flowers since then but his credit card was charged and they will not refund his money. They claim but can't prove he was contacted. We will dispute the charge and will NEVER do business with these folks again. They take no accountability for their screwups. Once we find out who the local florist is who was supposed to deliver the flowers, we will review them as well and never do business with them either.

    I don't know what happened to this company, but I never had a problem until Mother's Day 2019. It is now 5/17/19 and flowers have still not been delivered although they claim that there was delivery last Saturday. However, the delivery address they eventually provided to me is not even in the same town where they were supposed to deliver. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and they refuse to refund my $100!

    My sister order flowers for me for my birthday to be delivered to my office. Every day they would only attempt to deliver after the office had closed for the night. We were on the phone with them several times a day every day for over a week in order to get my flowers delivered to me. It was a horrible experience. The people on the phone do not understand English very well and also cannot speak it very well. It really causes communication problems when trying to tell them that our office is not open after 6 pm. Then I recently ordered a plant for a co-worker to be delivered to this same office building, and now it's been 3 days with no successful delivery. They seem to be completely unable to deliver anything to our office building. I have been on the phone with them every day several times a day for the past 3 days. I give up on 1-800-Flowers.

    I placed the orders with 1-800-Flowers for my sister's Birthday. And this is the second time I got the completely different order. This year I placed an order for over $78 with Rose's and all sorts of different kinds of CV colorful flowers and a Happy Birthday balloon. They delivered a completely disgusting arrangement with all mums and 2 Thinking of you balloons. I didn't spend almost $80 for small vase of mums. I emailed them to complain about it, they sent me emails back saying it would be redelivery. The last email they sent me saying the second one was delivered but my sister never received it. WTF!

    I called customer services and they sent an Indian lady to talk to me. I asked for the refund back. She put me on hold a few times and then told me she processed the refund back to my credit card. I asked her a confirmation number, she didn't give it to me and said I would receive an email about the confirmation of refund. I never received that email, neither refund back to my credit card. I am planning to take a legal action against 1-800-Flowers.

    Beautiful velvet red roses. I never expected to receive Mother's Day Roses in such a beautiful box. These roses will stay alive for 6 months, out of the sun and no watering.     I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day on April 30th 2019 to be delivered on May 10th. That was two day before Mother’s Day. On May 11th I received an email stating that they were unable to deliver. I called 1-800-Flowers and I was told they didn’t deliver that zip code. They were unable to deliver flowers until May 14th. No one there would explain why this error had happened. So my mom didn’t get anything for Mother’s Day. Just plain bad business.

    My son and girlfriend ordered Mother's Day Flowers (5/10/2019) to be delivered to me in Scottsdale, AZ. Six days later (5/16/2019) flowers have not shown up, the money has been taken out of their account. Called 1-800-flowers and was told that there was not a florist in my zip code to fulfill the order!!! This company never notified my son that the order could not be filled. I have received flowers at my current address several times without an issue. I had to rate 1 star to post this, otherwise 0 stars.

    This is the second time I have used this company and I won't be using them again. Last time I ordered flowers they were delivered 5 days earlier than I requested. That would have been fine but it was for a birthday. This time the flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday (birthday again) on the 15th. I called them and was told that the delivery was for the 21st. I explained that was not what I had requested. They are going to substitute another arrangement (that was probably left over from Mother's Day) and deliver on the 18th. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I will never be ordering from them again and if you are wise, you won't either.

    First and LAST time placing an order with them. I placed an order online for flowers to be delivered same day to my Mother. About an hour later I received a call from a customer service agent with 1-800-Flowers who stated the local florist would not be able to honor the floral arrangement I chose, but tried to have me purchase another bouquet for 10 more dollars. I declined and stated I would like my money back. She then tried to give me a 50% discount, I still declined and again requested my money back. Then she said okay and hung up. So I called back and spoke with another agent for verification that I would be receiving my money back and she told me to call back. Never again.

    I will not use 1-800-Flowers again. They did not send the gift basket I ordered. I called and ask for a refund. I also asked to speak to a manager and they kept on hold for over 40 minutes. I would not recommend 1-800-Flowers.

    I’ve been ordering from 1-800-Flowers.com for a long time with no issues, until Mother’s Day 2019. Ordered online, no problem. Delivered? No. Phone call from 1800FLOWERS? No. My husband finally used the chat feature, FYI which is much easier as apparently none of the people in customer service speak English. After about an hour, they apologized with basically no explanation, offered a 20% discount of future orders. After reading one after another negative review on how many people they disappointed on Mother’s Day I ordered from FTD. Yes the flowers were late, but it was a flawless transaction and the flowers were spectacular. I recommend FTD for future orders, or FYI Amazon Prime also now offers flower delivery. Will never use 1800FLOWERS again. ????

    I placed an order on May 8 for two dozen colorful roses. I received a call on Saturday, the day of delivery, when they informed me they could not complete my order but would substitute something comparable and delivery on Tuesday, May 14. A Mother's Day delivery two days late. Unacceptable. They did refund me 50% of my cost but did not fulfill what I had ordered.

    Ordered what seemed to be a beautiful flower arrangement for Mother's Day for delivery on Friday, May 10th. She told me 2 roses were already snapped off and when I went to visit on Saturday, the flowers were already half dead. It is disappointing to spend so much money and then to receive something that falls completely short of what was advertised and expected in terms of flowers chosen. The bouquet had more baby's breath and filler greens than anything else. I was very disappointed and will no longer use them either.

    I ordered an arrangement for my mom for Mother's day (from me and my sister) to be delivered on Mother's Day weekend. Since she has a little Maltese dog that is her baby, we thought it would be cute to order the "precious pup" arrangement. When she sent me the picture of what the final product was that was delivered, I was livid. It in no way even resembled a puppy, and looked like a hot mess. I immediately contacted customer service and let them know, and they wanted to make it up to me by rescheduling another delivery to make up for it.

    First they said they did not have any flowers available until May 29th, and I let them know that was not acceptable. They asked me what my mom likes, and I said roses and the color pink, since they had since removed the precious pup bouquet off the website and I already knew they could not successfully make it anyway. They sent me a link to the Fields of Europe Romance arrangement, and told me they could deliver on Wednesday and apologized again. I reluctantly agreed and patiently waited for the confirmation and the photo from my mom. Once again, what arrived was not what was ordered, and looked like flowers I could buy at Walmart and throw in a vase.

    I immediately emailed them and told them I wanted all my money back, and that they could take back their "savings pass" they emailed to me because I would never order from them again, even if it were free. They did respond via email first saying a 50% credit and I can get another savings pass, and then sent another email saying they would refund it in full. I will never order from them again. I am so embarrassed about the quality of the flowers that my mom received for Mother's Day, especially since I was in charge of ordering them for myself and my siblings.

    I ordered Thursday. $205 for a mother's day arrangement and a wine basket that included some chocolates since it is my mom's 40th mother's day. This $205 including a $20 fee for Saturday expedited delivery (hahahahaha). I get a call Friday saying "we no have wine basket". I normally have no issue with overseas accents but this person would not turn down the game show. She was watching in the background that was so loud her voice was being drowned out. I could barely understand her. I asked her what she can offer me instead since they were out of all wine baskets.

    She offers me a basket worth half the price of the one I ordered and tells me it won't be there till Wednesday. That is unacceptable so I ask to speak to the manager. She puts me on hold for 5 minutes and claims the manager is not available. I demand to speak to the manager again. She puts me on hold again for another 5 minutes and claims the manager isn't available. This time she comes back offers to "upgrade" the package to the one priced at the same amount I paid for the wine basket that I am no longer giving but still says it won't get there until Wednesday.

    I ask to speak to the manager a 3rd time. Again she puts me on hold for 5 minutes and returns with the same garbage lie about the manager not being available again but offers to do a partial refund to compensate for the hassle and the late delivery at 50% off. I agree. She claims I will get a confirmation email in 24-48 hours and hangs up the phone before I could say anything else. I only get the customer service survey and never get a confirmation over the refund. Plus whatever she did to my order it no longer appears to exist on their website. The only proof I have that I ordered now is the auto email that I got when I submitted the order.

    Since she hung up on me before I could finish I contacted their site's chat agent and explained all the above and asked for that person to fix it. She apologizes and offers me a 20 credit to my account. I laugh and tell her that I never plan to use this service again so a credit is not acceptable. She once again offers me a forced bogus apology and claims she has now properly processed yet another 50% off refund and says I will get a confirmation email in 24-48 hours. I immediately get a customer service survey again, and never received that confirmation email.

    Saturday comes and goes no flowers no basket of lesser goodies, I am pissed. Sunday - Mothers day comes along I get an email that the local florist claims my Mother's address doesn't exist or is fake and they cannot deliver. I call in, complain and ask to speak to the manager. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and return with "the manager is too busy on the other line."

    I once again demand to speak to her supervisor or manager. Again she puts me on hold for 5 minutes and returns with "The manager is busy on another line, but let me offer you a 50% refund". I say, "No I want to speak to your management anyone in your management." She puts me on hold for 5 minutes and comes back with "The manager is busy on another line, but let me offer you a 50% refund". They do offer to give me the number for the local florist to call them and work out the delivery problem. I accept it and give them multiple calls on their busiest day of the year. They do not answer the phone. One of the times I call I decide to look up this local florist and find tons of complaints on Google calling them out by name and them possibly being a scam going back more than a year. Again zero confirmation email, but a customer service survey. :D

    Monday I take my 15 minute break to call both of them again. Once again the florist never answers, on a Monday at 11am EST in the same time zone. So I call 1800 FLOWERS again. She tells me that I should contact the local florist (hahahaha) but that they won't even process any refunds until Wednesday by company policy because they are sooooo busy pretending the manager is too busy to answer the phone.

    I once again spend 20 minutes on hold 3 times while she claims the managers are too busy to speak to me. But the final time she come back and offers a full refund and her worthless apologies. At this point I have to get back to work so I agree. You win this battle 1800Flowers customer support nemesis. But the war is not over. I am promised a confirmation email within 24-48 hours that never comes however a customer support survey does come. I am having fun filling these out as negatively as possible at this point. Tuesday when that last email never comes along I check my bank account, they have now charged me $135 instead of the $205. No refunds in sight yet. Nothing delivered yet.

    At this point I resort to going to their social media page on Facebook and complaining. I found so many others having similar problems, multiple better business bureau complaints and a group dedicated to these problems. 10 different customer support reps ask for the same info I have given so many times before and claim in PMs that they will fix it and process a refund immediately. No confirmation emails yet. Plenty of customer satisfaction and support eval emails though.

    Wednesday, still nothing delivered. I have found a good local florist and explained to them on the phone that they answered right away where my mother lives and they know exactly what I'm talking about so I ordered from them. We will see how that works out tomorrow. I check my bank account. The $135 charge is there and an $80 refund has been issued. Finally, even though I have zero confirmation emails. They still owe me $55 bucks. I will get it. The PM support reps claim someone is working on my account and can't look it up to see about processing me another refund for the last of what they owe. I have been offered so many confirmation emails now but zero have appeared in the email they ask me to give them every time I call. At this point I have asked to speak to the manager 9 times, and have been refused 9 times. Do they even exist? This company is a scam.
