The price is not a reflection of the bouquet. It mostly covers overhead so don't be surprised when the flowers are just average. So for $30 you will get the same bouquet you could have picked up at Vons for $10. You'll have to pay at least $10 more for the $1 vase. Just keep in mind that you are paying for the delivery, not the flowers.

Updated on 05/15/2019: 40+ mins on the phone to get a supervisor, and FINALLY 1-800-Flowers cancelled and credited my card back, after days of their mistakes. MY MOTHER'S DAY GIFT OF FLOWERS NEVER ARRIVED!!!! It took 5 days to correct and cancel. I will never order from this company again.

Original Review: I placed a Mother's Day arrangement to be sent on 5/10/2019 to arrive on the 12th. It's now the 15th, still nothing!!!! I spoke to customer service last night. The 14th that C/S Rep apologized for their mistake and assured me that the arrangement would be sent priority the next day the 15th. IT IS NOW 7PM AND THERE HAS NOT BEEN A PRIORITY DELIVERY TODAY. The customer service or word of the people that work here are beyond horrible. TERRYL the C/S rep. will not even put a supervisor on the line, although I have requested one multiple times during this conversation. My time on this call is currently 33 mins. They are refusing to cancel and reimburse my card.

I never write bad reviews because being a business owner it really does affect the company and I want to be fair. But I have never had such horrible service in my life!! My order never was received for my mom on Mother's Day so I contacted 1-800-Flowers and reordered. They were suppose to send me an email confirming the new order! Never got it and My mom never received her gift for the second time! So a few days later I contacted again 1-800-Flowers and tell them I would just like to cancel my order! It took forever to get this thru to them!!! Yes, I want to cancel my order!!! She told me she did it and would send me an email to confirm.... Once again, never got it!!!

So I called again, the lady assured me she had canceled my order but could not send me an email to confirm it nor a reference number!!! So I Hope I get it, if not I will have to start over AGAIN tomorrow!!!! Also I've asked to speak to a manager and there is never one around!!! This has been an awful experience and I will never use them again!

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day on May 10th. I paid additional money for "guaranteed delivery" on May 10th. The flowers were not delivered on the 10th or the 11th. I contacted 1800Flowers and they said they didn't have the flowers I ordered and "don't worry, we will send a replacement in time". No flowers were delivered on Mother's Day, the 12th. I contacted them again and they said they were sorry and they would send them on the 14th. The flowers arrived 4 days late, after Mother's Day, did not resemble the flowers they said they would send and they were crushed and mostly dead. They will not respond to my emails now.

I chose an arrangement online and filled in all the necessary information for my order. A few days later I get a phone call. I couldn't understand most of the voicemail message. The only thing I could make out was that I "can" call back. First there was a toll number given. Then when repeating the number, it was an entirely different number, toll free, but I couldn't make out what the person was saying to get the number. I call 1-800 FLOWERS, and spoke with Customer Service. Turns out the florist didn't have the flowers needed for the arrangement chosen.

The person I spoke to was very nice, but she had such a heavy accent, I couldn't understand most of what she was saying. I asked for repeats but still couldn't understand. I think (not positive) there will be an arrangement sent to my daughter, but I'm not sure what I agreed to. I've had problems with 1800FLOWERS before. I won't use them again. Now I will research florists in the area I will be sending flowers and call them directly.

I accidentally placed an order on May 10th for Mother’s Day, and called customer service to cancel my order only to be promised a cancelation after about an hour & a half being put on hold multiple times by a customer service rep who came back after being on hold each time to offer me another option such as “getting a discount for my next order” “or having my order changed on the phone”.

After the fifth time of repeatedly denying the given options and sticking to wanting a cancelation, it became almost like a joke. When I was finally nearing the end of the call, the customer service rep promised me that a cancelation was processing and that I would receive a full refund within said amount of days. The next day lo and behold there’s a 1800-flowers delivery and a lovely charge on my credit card.

After calling customer service back I again was not able to speak with a supervisor or be told how I could give a formal complaint, instead I was only told that I could only receive a 50% credit for my next order, and then after denying this again a few times I was respectively put on a 3-5 minute hold each time in order for the agent to connect me with an available supervisor who wasn’t able to speak to me due to “high volumes of calls.” Which makes me believe that there must be other unhappy customers like myself or there is no supervisor to assist in any capacity.

The agent asked me for my number in order for the supervisor to call me back, which I am absolutely not hopeful about. I just do not understand how a company has a customer service department that’s basically a sales department with “agents” that can only say “I apologize mam” or “unfortunately, I understand but...” Come on! You cannot fraudulently lie to a customer on a recorded call only to not have anyone in the department with the authority to go through those recorded calls in order to resolve issues, or even be able to provide a customer with the option to place a formal complaint against agents who lie to customers in order to get them off the phone because they’re aggravated at not being able to make a sale.

They should instead strive for resolving any issues, which is what customer service basically stands for. It’s extremely irritating honestly and I just cannot recommend a company like this. Maybe others have had better experiences, and I really wish I was one of them but I can not recommend a site like this in any sort of capacity. It’s horrendous.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my 1800Flowers experience. I ordered flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day. I placed the order on Friday May 10th so first availability for delivery was not until Tuesday May 14. I was fine with that and paid to have them delivered on the 14th. As of 8 pm last night they still had not been delivered. I called customer service. What a racket that was. The girl over in the Philippines call center had to take my name at least 3 times. She was apologetic but very unhelpful. I asked for a full refund. She said I couldn't get it. I asked to speak to a manager. She said her supervisor was busy. I was on the phone for at at least 25 minutes. As of now the flowers are still "in Transit". This is ridiculous. I will never be ordering from 1800Flowers again! Awful service and awful customer service when there is an issue. I pray the flowers actually do arrive today and they better be as expected.

I ordered a Mother's Day flowers/balloons/teddy bear combo to be delivered on Mother's Day (the website asked if the Saturday prior would also be acceptable and I agreed) but when the flowers were delivered most of them were already withered and one of the balloons was deflated. I called customer service that same day and they assured me that a replacement order would be sent out and I would receive a callback to confirm re-delivery. When Mother's Day came around I still hadn't received a call so I decided to call again and see what was going on. I was again told that a re-delivery was being processed and I will receive a callback.

The Monday after Mother's Day I called and was told that the delivery request had been approved and the recipient would receive the flowers on Tuesday 5/14/19. Around 8am 5/14 I received a notification that the flowers had been delivered so I went outside and of course NO FLOWERS. Once again I called customer service (4th time now for those of you counting) and was told that the local florist may have sent the delivery notification early but has until 8pm to deliver the flowers. It is now Wednesday 5/15 and I still don't have the replacement flowers. I feel like it wouldn't even be worth my time calling customer service again because at this rate, they won't do anything. This is the worst company to do business with. First and LAST time I will ever buy anything from them or any of their partners.

I ordered this arrangement for Mother's Day for my grandmother and let me say what she received looked nothing as to what I paid for or was advertised. I have been calling this company since Sunday night once the order was received and have only been given the run around and lied to for now a total of 4 days straight. First on Sunday night they said the correct arrangement would be delivered on Monday and then Monday I find out the guy I spoke to never put the order in for a redelivery. Then the first agent I spoke to on Monday proceeded to put me on hold for OVER 10 mins and then hang up so the next agent I spoke to processed my refund which was to be the full refund amount and assured me that the redelivery would be on Tuesday.

Well Tuesday comes and I see I only been refunded $21 of a $86 order and yet STILL no email confirmation for a redelivery. So I call on Tuesday to ensure the delivery will take place and to sort out why I didn't receive my FULL refund and the agent then proceeded to act as if she was asking for permission to issue my refund several times and when I wouldn't accept the offer of a 50% refund she then said, "Oh I just got permission to issue the full refund." Like seriously?!?!?

So then this agent then proceeds to ask me if she can call my grandmother to let her know she WILL be receiving the flowers and I said yes. Well this company had the AUDACITY to call my grandmother to ENSURE her new flowers would be there by 8PM. Well it's Wednesday and she has YET to receive the flowers and now I am on the phone and it seems that the one and only supervisor that I am requesting to speak to has been busy for the past hour. This company is BOGUS! Don't waste your time!

On May 7, 2019, I contacted 1800 Flowers.com to order a simple arrangement featured from their website for Mother's Day. Having multiple issues with using their website, I contacted them and spoke with "Don" in customer service. Don was not able to speak clear English, but we got through the order with lots of repetition, and with issues I was having with my coupon, which took a while.

Don confirmed that the flowers we picked out would be delivered on Sat., May 11th, so that our mother would have them on Sunday, May 12th. After the payment went through, I received a confirmation number. Saturday, May 11th rolls around, I mention to our mother that 'something' will be delivered to her that day, and I could tell she was looking forward to it. Sadly, nothing was delivered to her on the day promised. Upset, I contacted them the next day, and they assured me it would be delivered on Sunday, Mother's Day.

Nothing was ever delivered at all. They never contacted me to explain. I contacted them, and they could not tell me anything. I asked to speak with a supervisor or a manager, and they repeatedly told me that no one was available. It is now two days after Mother's Day, and nothing has been delivered to her. I decided to email the company as a last resort, and received a response that they'll send me a $20 coupon. Period. I do not want a coupon, I want a full refund of my money. They have my full pre-payment in their hand, nothing in my hand except a humiliating experience.

I suggest NOT ordering through 1-800 Flowers. Against my better judgement, I ordered my Mother's day flowers through 1-800 Flowers, after having a similar experience a couple of years ago. I ordered a week ahead of time, paying extra to have it delivered the day before / the day of mothers day. The day came and went, no flowers. I don't care about the money, but to have my widowed mom, sitting at home with me long distance, telling her it'll be there any moment, for her to have nothing. Just broke my heart. After speaking with customers service FIVE different times, each time assuring me they talked to the local shop and that it was one its way. 3 days later, still no flowers - I finally got a refund. Unacceptable.

I ordered Mother’s Day flowers on the 8th of May to be delivered on the 10th - they were even from their “guaranteed same day delivery” selection. No delivery. And no flowers on Saturday either. I got an email in between saying a delivery was attempted, but knew this was incorrect as my parents were home all day. So I called “customer service“ to find out what was going on. Had to call twice for a total of over 45 minutes - I was calling from Australia where I live (delivery was in NC) and so the calls weren’t toll-free. The train wreck of an experience this was continued... I requested a full refund as they clearly didn’t honour their end. I was told nope, not their policy. They wouldn’t even tell me what local florist had the order. So yes, they wore me down and I settled for re-delivery on Tuesday and a 40% refund (still waiting for that email confirmation).

So I awoke to an email from my mother that still, no flowers and a “delivery attempted” email yet again from this company. Another false communique. So I called them again, they have now supposedly processed my cancellation. But I have to wait 3 days for the processing. I will not wait for that to occur. I will be writing the CEO about this horrible experience.

Missing 80% of flowers pictured. Wrong/missing flowers, cheap fern greenery, wrong container (should be margarita glass not martini glass), filled with crumpled plastic and blue dyed water instead of blue water beads which spilled out and stained my carpet, missing two colors of streamers (blue & yellow) which was relevant because the blue streamer picks up the blue in the base of the container. Replacement order was worse: NO ORANGE LILIES (the main flower and color in the bouquet photos on website), wrong flowers (mini roses don't belong in this bouquet), other random filler crap flowers that are not part of this "fun" bouquet, wrong container again (another martini glass instead of margarita), small bouquet not XL $80 value, cheap fern greens, etc.

They never sent anything remotely resembling what I paid $80 for evening after providing them with detailed complaints regarding the first order and how it did not look anything like the picture and what I expected to be fixed if they were going to attempt to resolve the problem by sending another bouquet that matched the one in the photo. Never happened. Was send by a florist in Amityville, NY. Can't recall the exact name but ended in the word "too." I get more value from grocery store bouquets at a much lower cost. Never again!

The flowers' delivery date was May 13 Monday the day after Mother's day. Well on Monday about 5:45 pm I decided to call because it was getting late and mom hadn't received her flowers. I spoke to a rep and she advised that flower delivery time is between 8 am to 8 pm. While on the phone I had her to check my mother-in-law's order as well. She stated that it was marked as delivered. I told her my mother-in-law stated she hadn't received her flowers. The rep also stated that sometimes the flower companies marked them as delivered before they actually deliver them so more than likely they are out on delivery. My mom received her flowers but they didn't look like the picture.

Waited to about 8:30 and my mother-in-law still didn't receive her flowers. Call them back. Went back and forth for an hour and the rep. Finally offered half of our money back and a re-delivery on Tuesday morning. Tuesday still no flowers. Called back. Asked for the full refund. Cancel the entire order. Rep stated she can't give a full refund. Asked for a supervisor. Of course sup is on other calls is what. I said I would hold after thirty minutes. She said she found another sup and that sup is going to approve the refund within 24 hours. I really don't believe a refund is coming. She just wanted me to get off the phone. The lack of communication, knowledge and overall customer service experience I received here is a nightmare. Long story short the flowers I purchased online never arrived on time, I was given different reasons for the delay and the flowers I ordered were swapped for different flowers without my knowledge. If it wasn’t for my constant calling I would have never known that my flowers were swapped out in the first place. It wasn’t until the 2nd call when the representative informed me of the changes and the 2nd reason why my original flowers were never shipped (1strepresentative said there was a ZIP code issue 2nd representative said they were out of stock).

While I had them on the phone I decided to look at the substituted flowers on my computer. I couldn’t trust what they were telling me anymore at this point and through my research I found out that they were $10 cheaper than the original purchase, were not as pretty and were going to arrive in bud form. Feeling disappointed from this whole ordeal I had to get off the phone and make a last minute agreement with my sister since we both put in on these flowers. We were still willing to work with them as long as the original flowers were going to be delivered instead of the budded ones.

I called for a 3rd time to let them know of this and they told me someone would call me. I waited 2 ½ hrs for someone to call me back but due to their incompetence and lack of communication I decided to call them once again. The representative seemed to lack empathy and understanding which made my next decision very easy and that was to pull the plug ASAP and request a refund.

Sheena confirmed to me that she made the change and also put me on hold and called FedEx to have them rerouted to the correct address, she confirmed that the flowers were said to be delivered to my mom's home (new corrected address) today 5-10-19. I then got online and spoke with a representative and she confirmed that 1800Flowers had the correct shipping address on my account and that they would be rerouted.

And they were STILL DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. My mom left the hospital today 5-10-19 leaving my stepdad there to go get the flowers off of her porch and that’s she we discovered they were delivered to the wrong address! I WANT MY MONEY BACK. HAD I KNOWN THAT THEY WERENT GOING TO BE DELIVERED AS REQUESTED I WOULD HAVE GONE AND GOT HER MOTHER'S DAY GIFT LOCALLY. My mom called to see if the flowers were delivered at the other address originally given when I placed the order and they weren't delivered to that address either.

This experience has been terrible. I also sent flowers to my mother in law and you didn’t send the card with it that I requested to go with it. She had no idea who they came from and she said the flowers looked wilted. I’m embarrassed and will NEVER order from this company again. My first time to order and this is the service I get....

I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday to be delivered to her workplace over a week in advance. I added the item to my cart and in between the time it took for me to show the bouquet to my dad and brother to get their approval and checkout, they upgraded my order from the small bouquet I wanted to the large without letting me know until the order had already been processed.

I emailed the Sales and Service specialist team regarding my order and advised them of the issue. It took 6 back and forth emails for them to get the issue even fixed in the first place and had such a huge problem with them even accepting the fact that they screwed me over and needed to fix their issue. Then, my flowers were not delivered on the day they were supposed to be delivered, which was my mothers birthday. This has been a hard birthday for her because she is turning 50 and I wanted to make her day a little brighter.

I contacted them again and all they wanted to over me was a $20 savings pass on my next order. As I never plan to order from them again, a $20 savings pass does me no good. They refused to deliver my order at a discounted rate since they didn't deliver it on time so after 10 more back and forth emails they finally gave me a full refund and cancelled the order. This whole ordeal was such a nightmare and I am very upset with this company and will never be ordering from them again. If I could give them a review of less then 1 star I would.

The first customer service was horrible. She didn't understand English. She kept saying the promo code that I provided is invalid. I had to spell the promo code several time. I got upset and hung up. I tried to email the customer service. Wait for couple hour... no reply.

I called customer service again and another person said there's someone was working on my complain at that moment so she couldn't log into my order. So I called again and finally this last customer service named JOHN ** able to help me. He said he already put in the promo code and I should received an email regarding the refund for shipping fee and a survey for him. Several hour after that, I received the survey but none about the refund. I dispute the charged with PayPal but they denied me since I couldn't give the proof of email for the refund even though I sent them all the phone logs and survey and proof or order. They said the merchant which is 1800 Flowers didn't acknowledge my request. REALLY??? NEVER EVER BUY FLOWER FROM THEM AGAIN.

I set up flower delivery for Mother's Day to my mother-in-law, while she was on vacation in West Palm Beach. I received confirmation that the order was successfully placed. I got an email at 2:40 am the morning the flowers were supposed to be delivered saying that they had overbooked the delivery and for me to call and choose a different date. Okay, I had booked kind of last minute so maybe Monday would be okay. When I called, the agent informed me that the florist doesn't deliver to the zipcode I had specified... Uh. What?

I do believe it's 1-800-Flowers' RESPONSIBILITY to find a florist that does. I didn't specify what florist. 1-800-Flowers did. TRY ANOTHER ONE?! The agent didn't seem to understand this. So instead of my mother-in-law getting a beautiful bouquet of flowers on Mother's Day in her hotel room, she got a phone call from us saying "we tried". Sad trombones. Never using 1-800-Flowers again.

My mom's flowers arrived as scheduled and were very pretty, but by the next morning, they were all dead. Very sad that they lasted less than 24 hours after she received them.

My wife's mom never got her flowers. I tried to contact the company to let them know something was wrong on the day of delivery, but I guess free thinking is no longer allowed in businesses and employees are only allowed to read from a script. They insisted that the flowers would be delivered on time. Here we are 4 days after the scheduled delivery date, and no flowers. When I called customer service, they offered me a $20 credit towards a future order. Not cool. The total order was more than $150. Needless to say, I'll be contacting my credit card company for a chargeback and won't be dealing with these clowns again.

I placed an order online for delivery on Mother’s Day. I placed the order on Friday for delivery anytime on Saturday or Sunday. The flowers were never delivered and I received no information as to why. On the Monday following Mother’s Day, I called 1-800-Flowers and they had no explanation as to why it wasn’t delivered and said that, “maybe the florist ran out of materials.” Okay... They asked if I wanted them to attempt delivery yet couldn’t guarantee that there was any more likelihood that I wouldn’t experience the same problem again. I asked for a refund and after I was placed on hold, the phone call was disconnected. Could have been a mistake or a dropped call on my end. Who knows.

I called back and was told that they could not access the file because another agent had it open and was working on the issue. I asked for a supervisor and they essentially refused to transfer the call saying that the wait would be too long. After I insisted that they transfer me to a supervisor or I would file a complaint with my CC company, they placed me on hold only to be disconnected again! I called back a THIRD time and after a lengthy hold spoke with a supervisor who again said that they couldn’t access the file and I should call back later in the day. She also said that she could see that I had called three times and that continuing to call would do no good. What?!? The calls were all disconnected. That’s why I called back. Plus she TOLD me to call back later.

I would not accept that resolution and after much back-and-forth, she was magically able to access the file and process a refund. I normally do not use online florists and prefer to call a local florist direct, however I was out of the country and it was easier to order online. I will never do so again. They did offer a $20 credit for future use. I declined because I will never put myself through such a horrible customer service experience.

And while it's possible the fault was not entirely theirs the first two times, yesterday it was absolutely all on them. They failed to deliver my mother's flowers in time, then had the nerve to offer me a $20 discount on my next order as a peace offering. I don't think so. Worst of all, they said they couldn't help me because "you know, Mother's Day is our busiest day." Yeah, I know that - it was 1-800-Flowers that wasn't prepared. So my advice is to put your money toward a company who really cares about their customer base - because 1-800-Flowers definitely does not.

I called back, and got someone on the phone, turns out the lady didn't know why I was calling. Okay, so I said bye and hung up. They called me back while I was on the phone, left a voicemail, that said I need to call them, okay...so I call them back a 3rd time. This time, the lady tells me my order cannot be delivered because what I ordered is out of stock. So I tell them to refund me, the lady apologizes and tells me she cannot refund today, as it is too late, I will have to call the next day. I also received and email from them, saying they can deliver an "equivalent" item. So, I said okay, I'll call tomorrow.

Fast forward to today. I call them, and the lady tells me "your order is processed" and hangs up on me. So, I call back, the gentlemen tells me that agent is working on this order, and that I need to call back 15 minutes later. So I waited, and then contacted them on their website. They kept insisting that there was a "minor confusion" and that my order is now all the sudden available to be delivered! I told them I did not want their services, and that I wanted a refund. The agent kept telling me that I will get a $20 off my next purchase, or that I can get a 50% refund if I keep the order.

I kept saying no, but he insisted that they will deliver the order and send me a note of sincere apology. I had to tell him I've asked 7 times for a refund, and that I will have to have my bank contact them. He finally said he will refund the entire purchase. What a waste of time and money. Their customer service will keep changing their stories, and try to convince you to keep the order no matter what. I have to wait 24 hours to receive a confirmation email, saying my order was cancelled and refunded. So, I'll wait and see how this turns out.

I placed two orders for Mexican Mother's Day (10th), when I checked out I used PayPal. So the day of the delivery, nothing gets delivered! I knew that PayPal put a hold on the funds for the flowers so I called them to see if the charges went through but the money was still in their account. I called 1-800-Flowers to check on my order and they said there was no order on file for me and that I probably never placed the order. I told them I was sure that I placed the order because I checked out with PayPal and they were holding the funds in their account until my order was shipped.

First of all, I felt like I was talking to an automated system because she kept repeating that I did not place an order. Secondly, I don't think she comprehended English very well because she couldn't understand I HAD placed an order with them because why else would PayPal be holding funds for them. After talking to her like a 5 year old and repeatedly telling her to quit interrupting me and listen to what I was trying to explain to her, she tells me to call PayPal and tell them not to release funds to them because there was no order. She said it like this happens often. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after several requests to speak to one she finally connects me to one. The only information he wanted was my PayPal transaction information so he could cancel the order with them.

They NEVER once tried to correct their mistake and actually would not accept that they had any fault in what happened. The supervisor's explanation was that there was probably a glitch in their system when I placed my order! Ironic that their system glitched but PayPal received the information to hold the funds for them. Unless, you want to roll the dice with them or place the order online and then call them to make sure your order was placed I suggest you place your order elsewhere. I thought I was placing an order with plenty of time and I ended up driving to a local flower shop, an hour away from my house, to place the order to be delivered today. I couldn't afford to place another order online and not have it delivered. In my opinion, they deserve a minus ten for customer service.

I ordered a lilac plant for my 91 year old mother for Mother's Day. I ordered well in advance and paid extra for a Saturday, May 11 delivery. The flowers were not delivered Saturday OR Sunday. I did call after my initial order to change the verbiage on the card that was included. I think whoever took this information down, messed up the order. When I called them today to see where her order was, I was told it would be delivered today. It was not. I noticed tonight that this plant is not even on the website now.

My poor mother was home alone all day on Mother's Day with no flowers. I was furious! No one had the courtesy to email or call me if there was a problem. I am calling her local florist in the morning and ordering something from them. I was kept on hold for a very long time tonight trying to get an answer as to what had happened. I did demand a refund and was told it was coming. I never did receive a satisfactory explanation for what happened. If 1-800-Flowers can't handle Mother's Day orders, they shouldn't be in business.

I ordered 2 bouquets from 1-800-Flowers to be delivered for Mother’s Day to my grandmother and mother respectively. The first delivery was to my grandmother and she called to tell me to get my money back because the flowers looked like they were over a week old when delivered. I was sent pictures of the bouquet and not only was everything drooping and dying, but I also paid for the upgrade to 30 stems and what came was less than 10. I called customer service and gave them a chance to redeliver. Well that was a mistake because I received the exact same trash that was delivered the first time.

I called back the next to day to request a refund and was given multiple excuses as to why I couldn’t get my money back. The first was that I had to wait until after 8pm. That doesn’t even make sense! So I hung up and called back. The next person said her supervisor was busy and put me on hold several times to come back and tell me that she could give me credits and coupons that I refused to take. Then she said she could only give me 70% of my money back because the order had been delivered. I was fuming as this point because that makes no sense and nowhere in the return policy does it state this.

I finally had to hang up on her too because she was reading from a script that was insulting my worth as a customer at that point. I then called back a third time and was told they were processing my refund. Only received 50% so I had to call a fourth time to get the remaining balance. The whole process was frustrating and I will never use this company again. Also the bouquet delivered to my mother was decent at best but was nothing like what was pictured. Anyone thinking of ordering from here, don’t waste your time or money.

Well she didn't get the first delivery the day they were suppose to be delivered so I called and spent about 2 HRS back and forth on the phone between 1800 Flowers and FedEx. Final it tracked down delivery #1 and fixed the problem. Next day was suppose to be delivery #2 and the day after delivery #3 so I called to check on delivery #2 & 3 and spent another hr on and off the phone with numerous people that were very uninformed only to have to speak with a "supervisor" by the end of the convo with the "supervisor" I finally said forget it just give me the tracking numbers and I'll figure it out myself.

After 20 mins, of being put on and off the phone with the "supervisor" she finally got authorization to give me the tracking numbers. Got ahold of FedEx they tracked 2 of 3 packages and said the # I was given for the third order was invalid in their system. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I called for a refund and the representative tried to talk me into accepting a 50% refund instead. It took almost an hour for her to provide the refund; this was on a Saturday. The following day, I waited for the second order and it never arrived. I called 3x about this order and was told each time to give it more time, despite the fact that they told me that they stopped delivering at 8PM. I called again once I received an email stating that my order was delivered when it was not. I informed the representative of this and she told me that I should give it more time again even though the email read it was delivered. I let her know that was fraud and she put me on hold several times for several minutes.

The rep. came back to tell me that they have to send a cancellation email to the local shop for an item they listed as delivered and that I would have to wait for their reply. This was surreal and nothing this rep. said made sense. I had to demand to speak to a supervisor several times because she would not do so claiming the supervisor/manager was busy. She continued to say they were busy so she told me that she would have to call the florist first to find out what happened. After being placed on hold yet again, I was hung up on. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. This call lasted 2 hours of her making zero sense.

Two bad experiences with them in the past three months have guaranteed I will not be back. The first incident, at the time, was minor. My husband was out of town for Valentines Day and set up a gift to be delivered to me, on Valentines Day, because he felt bad he wouldn't be home. It did not come on Valentines Day, it came about 3 days later. Ok, I thought, things happen, so I still used them to order flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. I picked out a perfect basket for my mom, I knew as soon as I saw it that she would love it. I set it up to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day. Friday came and I got a notification that it had been delivered. I got no acknowledgment from my mom that she received anything, which was odd, so I asked her about it, and she never received it.

Okay, I gave it another day, still not delivered. So, I called 1800-Flowers to ask them about it and they told me it was delivered and someone named "Tom" signed for it. There is no "Tom" at my mom's house. In fact, she lives on a small street, and there are no Tom's on the whole street. So, this package was not only delivered to the wrong address, but was delivered to the completely wrong street, who knows where. The customer service representative says they'll ship another one out to her. Great! However, he tells me, the basket I originally ordered is no longer available. Ugh!

I'm mad at this point because I specifically picked out that basket with my mom in mind. I tell him to just pick out random flowers, because at this point it really doesn't matter, I'm not getting what I ordered in the first place. Then the kicker, they won't be delivered until Tuesday! So, I'm not getting the flowers I wanted, they're not being delivered two days in advance like I wanted, they are actually being delivered two days late. I think the customer service representative thinks he solved my issue, but I'm not happy with any part of it. I will never trust them again.

My order is not due to be delivered until Saturday, May 11! So of course that's a lie! Now Frank continued to stick to the script and tell me how sorry he was that he could not refund my money because my order has already been confirmed and is "preparing" for delivery. I asked Frank where could I find the cancellation policy for 1-800-Flowers and he proceeded to tell me that "yes, we have a policy but I can't tell you where to find it because it's in our company." Whaaaat???

Ok, so I remained calm and asked to speak with a supervisor. After 35 minutes, YES! 35 whole minutes of being on hold, Lily comes on the phone and says, "Oh, yes! I can take care of that refund for you right away!!" I give her the verifying information and she says "You should receive the refund back to your card within 24 hours but your bank could take up to 3 months to post it back to your account." No bank takes 3 months to post money back to your account for a returned item! Bottom line... I do not expect 1-800-Flowers to refund my money and they can expect that I will NEVER EVER do business with them again!!! They can also expect that I will inform everyone I know about their very, very bad, terrible, horrible, no good customer service and strongly encourage them not to use them. This is very similar to the complaint I sent to their customer service dept: I ordered flowers for my Mother on 5/11 and it said on the order confirmation as well as the site that it would be same day. That did not happen, today at 10 am I am just getting a notice that the order is being worked. I also got a call shortly after the order, I missed it but they left a voicemail saying they had a question with a number. I called back, was put on hold and then told she couldn't help right now because someone was in my order and they’d call me back in 5 min. Nobody called. Was there a cut off time to get same day delivery? I ordered the flowers at 9:15 am so that seems unlikely. Was there actually an issue with the order? I will never know.

I sent an email to their customer service today and got the response that they have a “Flex” delivery and due to high volume it could take longer. All I could think is why isn’t that clearly stated? I could have chosen another company and paid less if I knew it might not arrive same day. Just about twenty minutes ago my Mom told me she got her flowers and yet on their website the order hadn’t made it past the received status. Now I know things go sideways. It happens. But not only was none of this information communicated but their customer support really didn’t acknowledge that there was a issue they apologized, which I appreciate, but no consolation for the order being a day late. It’s tough competition out there and there are others that do a better job at a lower price. I can’t recommend this company to anyone.

In addition, my brother (her husband) passed away unexpectedly five months ago so this is her first Mother's Day as a widow and I was trying to make it special for her. I received an order confirmation on the 7th. However, the flowers were never delivered. I called customer support on the 12th and the first customer service support person told me that the flowers were going to be delivered on Wednesday the 15th which they never informed me about.

When I asked for an explanation the rep ignored my question and said they could get them delivered tomorrow, Monday. Once again I asked for an explanation and after being placed on hold for over 5 minutes I was told that FEDEX was unable to deliver the flowers for some unknown reason. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was ignored and put on hold. When the rep returned I told him I wanted to know why I was not informed about this issue and he responded that he was sorry but did not know why. I then asked for them to give a discount to which he offered me free shipping... The order came with free shipping which I pointed out. He then offered me 15% off. At this point I asked for his supervisor.

After another 5 minute hold, a woman came on the line and asked me to tell her the story all over again. She then told me that they never found a florist to take the order which is why the flowers were not delivered. She could not explain why I was not informed. She then offered to have the flowers delivered tomorrow and asked me to hold while she found a florist. Another hold of 5 minutes and she comes back and says that there are no florists available to deliver tomorrow. She asks if I can pick a different arrangement for a different day.

I then explain to her how upset I am because I ordered these specifically for my sister-in-law because my brother died five months ago. No acknowledgment. So I ask for a refund and again she asks me to hold for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes she comes back on and wishes me a happy mothers day. Come to find out the florist is running behind and can't make delivery until Monday. I told the agent Monday is too late. I was offered everything EXCEPT a refund. 3 phone calls and 3 agents later, after 50 minutes on the last call I have an email confirmation stating I will receive a refund, still no refund.

Which I never would have known, except for the matter that they arrived covered with specs of dirt, and 2 of the 14 stems were broken. So I called 1-880-Flowers to say that they should be refunded for what was sent to me, the flowers were unacceptable. I spoke to someone who had a very hard time understanding what my complaint, so I let my daughter know they should expect a refund for the order. I sent her a photo of what I received, she said there are supposed to be 30 stems!!! Only 14 stems were delivered, 2 of which were broken. NOT 30. So they just expect the Moms to say thank you, and count on nobody knowing exactly what was sent! THIS IS FRAUD!!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!!!

Customer agent told me that they would deliver "magnificent roses and add chocolates", but apologized the order couldn't be delivered until 5/7. On 5/7, the order was not delivered. I called to tell them. A new agent told me they would upgrade the order and set delivery for a different arrangement on 5/10 because they couldn't get the one I chose before. So even though we missed her birthday they would get there before the mother's day rush. Again, they did not deliver on 5/10. None on 5/11. I wound up calling a local florist in the recipient's town myself which cost me $3 fee when 1 800 charges $17. I filled out the 1800 flower non delivery form for a refund, but am not optimistic they will respond given the other reports to CA today.

When she got them, she sent me a picture saying thank you, and the flowers were NOTHING like what the picture looked like. They weren't even the right colors. I called and complained, and they quickly said that they would send more, but that the product was unavailable, so it still wouldn't be what I actually paid for. Apparently, the product was never available, and they thought it'd be fine to send any random bouquet they had. They also gave me a $20 savings for "next time," but I can guarantee you there will not be a next time. The worker on the phone was very nice, but you could tell he refunds people a lot.

They apologized, offered to send a bigger arrangement if they could do it Monday or Tuesday and they would call the recipient and tell her it was their fault. NO. I cancelled the order, called a local florist they took the order and delivered the flowers on Saturday. At 2:00 I got another call from 1800 flowers, they are unable to deliver the 2nd order as the local florist is too busy, can they deliver a larger bouquet on Monday...sounds familiar. NO. Please refund my money, they say they did, that is still to be seen. I called a local florist in that town and the flowers will be there tomorrow. Why can I call a local florist and get the order filled? My guess is the flowers are cheaper after Mother's day, so their cost is less and their profits are more. When both people called they were in a call center and I could hear the same conversation by others behind them. This should be illegal and considered bait and switch. She even walked up and down the block in case they were left at the wrong address, nothing! Called customer service in India and was told, "We show the flowers were delivered to a good address" - like that was it and I was lying. They then said there was no tracking number, so the text/email was wrong and the flowers would come. Call after 8 pm if no flowers. Then, less than an hour later I got a call from another service agent saying, "Our records show that the flowers were delivered to a "good address". Mom checked and walked up and down the block again, nothing!!

I called again and they said, "Sorry, we can't redeliver until between the 15th and 22nd". They wouldn't even give an exact day. I asked for a refund and they refused and refused to put a supervisor on the phone. Customer service is not there to help or serve you. They will infer that you are a liar and will not stand by their service/product. They will also not tell you the florist that the order was sent to. I spent over an hour on the phone today trying to resolve this. THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!

Taking someone's money and not delivering the promised product is FRAUD - a criminal act. Don't make my mistake and ruin your gift for someone special. Although website showed they were and 3 days later I had to contact them and was told they were working on getting them. So I decided to give them another try since FTD showed they didn’t have any florists available to deliver in my timeframe and I didn’t want flowers shipped in a box, 1-800-flowers did this time deliver them promptly. But after successfully applying a promo code and invoice showing me one price, when my card was charged it was not for the correct price.

Good luck contacting them. They will send you all sorts of forms asking for more information and more proof and then after finally coming to realization they were wrong I finally had someone tell me they will personally refund me. They had someone else come back saying, "Sorry we are not able to issue refunds due to large volumes of flowers this time of year". Really? After I wasted at least an hour out of my time to fill out all their forms and was told I would be issued one, now they won’t. Really not worth the hassle of reporting credit card fraud. Although that is exactly what they are doing. Charging more than what the price shows when you order them.

I have flowers being delivered to my mother in law as well and they have not been delivered yet. Hopefully I won’t be updating this review again. I was charged correctly for her flowers, although I am still awaiting them to be delivered. I have also been told by people I’ve talked to they have similar experiences with 1-800-Flowers. They always show flowers being in stock but is really a guessing game and then when flowers are delivered late they blame it on the florist that they used. Yet they are charging a hefty delivery fee for their services and even charging “guaranteed delivery”. Seems more like “you will get them when you get them and you will pay whatever we feel like charging you”.

I called, got someone who barely spoke English and could not figure out why I got the call. Hung-up and called again...same. The woman was barely able to speak English but tells me my order was 'flipped'. Since I (thankfully do not work at 1800Flowers) I asked what that meant. The woman did not know, put me on hold and never came back.

I then went online to chat. There was 30 minutes of chat time. Most of the time was spent having me wait. Now I was told that I have a new order number because, get this, the florists could not take new orders, they were at their maximum for May 10th! Seriously!? I told the rep to cancel my order if it was not going to be exactly what I ordered. I did not want a replacement, only the what I ordered as they are a specialty flower. Well, today the order arrives. Ugly bright pink roses with star lilies in a box no less. (Sorry - hate bright pink roses period). Grocery stores sell better quality and for much less than $90.

It took me an hour in chat to tell them they could come get the flowers, as I would only trash them, I would not work with 1800Flowers ever again, and to refund money. I was then offered a $20 'savings pass' for my next order. Yep! I declined. I was then offered the same but with 50% off what they sent me. Seriously, they wanted me to pay them $45 for something I did not order, want or like. Pretty bold! The rep finally told me she was processing my request for a refund. I asked for a confirmation number. There was none. I was told I would get an email. Of course I still haven't received the email. In the day and age of modern technology I have been told that it will probably take, get this, 24-48 hours! (Not holding my breath.) Horrible, horrible. Do yourself and the recipient a huge favor. Call a reputable local florist, pay over the phone. But don't use this company.

The second order (for my mother in law) looked absolutely NOTHING like what I ordered. And the 3rd order (my S.O. 's step mom) was wilted and one it's way to being dead. I ordered flowers on 1-80-Flowers.com Thursday before Mother's Day (I know - a bit late). When I received the confirm. email it showed my previous address as the billing address. I called immediately a few minutes after ordering to try to update the billing address but was told to call back the next morning - they could not change it now because of the high volume of calls. Next morning I called again - was told then that no changes could be made since the order was already processed. I asked the girl how could the order be processed with the wrong billing address? She said "I don't know."

When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told none were available and that if they were they would tell me the same thing. So now what could have been a simple fix will not occur... UNBELIEVABLE AND OUTRAGEOUS POLICY! I told the customer service rep. I will be telling my story all over the internet wherever I am able to leave a review of 1-800-Flowers. She said "Thank you for shopping 1-800-Flowers.com and have a nice day"...

They told me first they would give me a refund and then ship flowers out next week then they canceled the order and told me they would just send out flowers than that order was canceled and I was told I would only get a refund. I think got another email to say they’ve ordered a replacement flower but never asked me which one I wanted or gave me my refund. I’ve been asking for an email to show they’re doing this and nothing has been sent to me. Completely dissatisfied and wasted three hours by phone.

I tried using the chat and via phone to resolve, they were unable to find my orders either. I am being assured that the Paypal preauth will drop off my account and I will not be charged, however, now I have no flowers being delivered and no help of any kind from 1(800)flowers. I was not offered any solution except to reorder, no discount or any compensation. I had ordered with a discount code on my original order, I was not even offered that. Basically I felt that I was left on my own and it was just "you can reorder". No way was I trying that again, I am not even sure I will get my $150.00 from the original order with them.

I ordered flowers for mother's day for delivery Friday. The day after the order was placed, I received a voicemail letting me know that a minor change was made to my order. I called back the next morning and the agent who helped me could not find any details of this "minor change" and assured me the order was processed accordingly. I then received 2 voicemails later that night, letting me know the arrangement I ordered was not available due to the local florist having received too high of volume. The company was going to replace with a different option and asked me to call them back to confirm. I called back and the agent advised the name of the replacement arrangement, and confirmed that they would send me an email with this replacement information.

Upon receiving the email, I realized that the arrangement they chose was not of the same quality I had originally ordered, so I emailed back asking for another option (while giving 2 options I found online). Another agent responded to my email and gave me 5 options to choose from, which I responded with 1 of the 5 options. I then received another email from a 3rd agent letting me know that my replacement was already processed by another agent, "sorry for the inconvenience". I called the company back and explained my situation, the agent advised they would help me and put me on hold for over 10 min and never came back.

I hung up and called back, asked to speak to a manager and was denied multiple times saying the manager was too busy. This agent advised that the replacement arrangement I had chosen was processed (1 of the 5 previously given via email), and they would send me an email confirmation. I never received that confirmation so I called again to make sure it was still being sent. This agent then said yes, the replacement arrangement I had chosen was processed correctly, I will get an email. Well I never received my email confirmation, but I did get an email when the flowers dispatched, and it was the arrangement I asked not to receive. Nothing about this entire order process was smooth or helpful. I was assured over and over again that they would take care of my concerns and was totally disappointed. I will NEVER order from this company again.

Have called five times to try to resolve; will not let me speak with the manager and will not remove charges. This is my first bad experience with 1-800-Flowers, but I will never do business with them again. April 25, I ordered a large orchid for my mother for Mother's Day. It was supposed to be delivered between the 1st and 3rd of May. Every time I checked the website it was "out for delivery". Then I get a notification that it will be delivered Monday, May 6. Fine. No orchid for Mom. I get another notification that it will be delivered yesterday before 8 pm.

At 4 in the afternoon I get a phone call with a person on the other end that I have trouble understanding. I think it is a spam call, so I hang up. When I get home, there is an email that says to call, to reschedule delivery. I call and after about 20 minutes, get a verification that the orchid will be delivered today. I then get two more phone calls that I later find out are from them and another email to call and reschedule delivery. I respond to the email saying that I have rescheduled delivery for today, and that because of my poor cell reception and the noisiness of the call center, I would prefer to deal with this by email. I am assured that the item that I ordered will be delivered today.

Today at 4:23 am I get an email to call to reschedule delivery again. This time (on the second phone call, as the first one was totally dropped), I found out that the order has "passed through two florists and due to high volume, the item is not available." Okay, so why couldn't I be told that, say on May 1st or 2nd. So now, my option was for them to substitute an "arrangement" of similar price. I don't want an arrangement - I want a live, flowering plant. So, sight unseen, something is picked for me, which the customer service person keeps calling an "arrangement," and it can be delivered May 15. May 15-20 days after my order!

I told the young lady that this was ridiculous and I wish that I had purchased an orchid at Kroger and brought it to my mom. She then said it would be delivered the 11th. We'll see. After reading the rest of these eerily similar reviews, I highly doubt I will be satisfied with the "arrangement," which, incidentally, cost more than my original choice (but we won't make you pay the difference-oh how very big of you) and we'll give you $20 off your next order. Sorry, 1-800-Flowers, I highly doubt there will be another order.

I am very disappointed in 1-800-Flowers.com's lack of service and inability to fulfill my order, which was placed a week in advance. The same day the order was placed, I called because even though on the website I changed the city three times, every time I advanced to the next page, it reverted back to the incorrect city. When I called, I was told by the rep he had updated delivery to the correct city. At 12:22 a.m., May 9, I received an email confirming my order had been shipped.

On May 9, around 10 a.m., I received a phone call saying that the order would not be delivered until May 10. I said, "no problem" but when I verified the delivery address, the city was still the incorrect. I asked that the city be corrected, and the rep indicated she would do so. A couple hours later, I received another call saying my order could not be fulfilled and that they could offer a replacement. After waiting on the phone 45 minutes, all while being periodically reassured that she was finding an acceptable replacement, and it would only take another minute or two, I was told there was no replacement available. This is unacceptable, especially considering that left me NO time to order a replacement elsewhere. I placed this order a week prior so that my mother would receive her gift in a timely manner; however, 1-800-Flowers' failure to provide even adequate service made that nearly impossible.

I understand that but I wasn't even trying to send them on Mother's Day. I was going to push it out to after Mother's Day for when she'll be back in town.

I was told by the customer service rep that they will attempt delivery on Saturday and if no one answers (which they won't) then they'll reattempt delivery the next day. Hmmm...so tell me why I can't just save your driver some time and CHANGE THE DELIVERY DATE?! Makes ZERO sense especially since it's not same day. Terrible customer service. Hopefully she gets the flowers at some point and hopefully they aren't a terrible display...seems like their reviews are lacking in the positive experience department.

To whom this will concern; I decided to give this company a try since the company kept popping up on my Facebook page! Found an arrangement, went through the order process, tried to pay through Paypal because it's my trusted and simple way! Hit submit and the screen continued to stay blank. Soooo I thought to myself the order is not computing! The order was for $89 btw! So what do I do? I decide to try again! Bad decision! I go through the process again, and the same thing happens again! I gave up and then decided to check my email and there it is showing 2 orders for $89. Mind you on their website I never saw a Success, Thank You for your order!

It's 10pm! Just wanted to do something nice for my mom! So I immediately call the 800 number and I get an Asian rep! Little English! Lots of apologies! No help! So I sleep on it and call in the morning. The same thick accent came on the line and he sends me to the upper management that appears to have normal English! He tells me that he doesn't see my orders from last night! He tells me that because it is through Paypal he can't access that avenue! I decide to make an order on the phone with him! I use my bank card! This time I use a 15% promotion! It comes out to be $76! I thought I will call Paypal later and see what to do next about the pending 2 orders for $89! By the time I get to them they are closed!

So later in the day I decide to go into my bank account for one thing and while in there, I see that 1-800-Flowers has charged me the $76, but I also see that they charged me $71.45 for WHAT? Now I am in furious mode! I call 1-800-Flowers and of course it's late again and the what seems like the same guy from the night before is talking to me! OMG. I get the same response. "I'm sorry" over and over again and there's nothing he can do! I have to again call in the morning! So now I have to find out about the random extra $71 charge and figure out how I can make sure they don't charge me $89 twice!

I am in total disbelief! I will NEVER place an order with this company again! What should have been a pleasant experience to lovingly order flowers for my mother, has turned into a frustrating nightmare! As of right now I have approximately $266 that I am at the mercy of this company to deal with! Tomorrow is day 3! Now all I need to top this experience off, is to get flowers that don't look like the beautiful picture shows them! Fingers crossed! PS sorry for all the exclamation marks! That is just how I am literally feeling right now!!

I had placed an order with two items on May 1 in the morning. The two items were: My pet plant-cat treats and the popcorn factory smiley face 3 way tin. I received an email from 1-800-Flowers later that day saying that the popcorn tin is out of stock and to call 1-800-Flowers back. I then received another email May 3rd saying that they cannot locate a florist in the area to deliver the cat pet plant and to call them. I then called 1-800-Flowers on May 4th and told the person I spoke with to CANCEL my entire order. The call center is clearly not in the U.S. and the employees are working off a script. The agent confirmed that the entire order would be cancelled and that I would get a refund. On May 6th, I called back 1-800-Flowers to confirm my order had been cancelled, and inquired when I would get a refund. The agent told me in fact my order had been cancelled and that I would expect a refund in about a week.

On May 7th, I then received an email from 1-800-Flowers stating that my pet plant is Out for Delivery. This entire time I was told the order was cancelled. I then chatted with an agent from 1-800-Flowers and told them to cancel my order for the THIRD time, he confirmed cancellation and wanted to offer a discount to have another florist deliver the pet plant. I told him that it was already delivered and it shouldn't have been!! They told me I could only get 50% of my money back for their error. I deserve my entire refund as one product was out of stock (and never will be delivered) and the other I cancelled. He told me that I can expect a refund within 1 to 2 billing cycles but could not explain what that meant. Normally that means months, and I think it is completely unethical to take 1 to 2 months to refund money paid when products and services were not available, and not delivered and cancelled.

It is unbelievable to speak with this call center and they read off a script. No matter what your issue is, they use the same script and it doesn't even make any sense. It's been a week and my order should have been cancelled and already refunded. To this date, I still haven't received an email saying my order is cancelled and I definitely don't have a refund. There is not even a manager to speak with, or anyone in the U.S. that can help with this issue. I feel completely robbed and I definitely will never use 1-800-Flowers again.

This morning I had the worst experience with 1-800-Flowers. I ordered a large spray standing arrangement for a funeral. My nightmare started after placing the order. I kept receiving calls from an 800 number. Every time I answered no one would say anything but I could hear people in the background. This happened 4 times until someone with an extremely heavy Asian-like accent spoke. She asked to confirm my order which was fine. Then she said, "Ok thank you" abruptly. The same person then calls again a second time asking me to confirm the delivery time. I'm like really? All this information was on the order but fine whatever, I confirmed.

The flowers were scheduled to arrive by 8:30 am which was the time the service would start. At 8:00 am I get a text from 1-800-flowers saying my flowers were delivered. When I arrived at the funeral home I saw that the flowers had not yet arrived and that's when the fun started. I was on the phone for 40 minutes with the operator and she told me that the flowers were already delivered. I explained that they were not because I was at the funeral home and there we no flowers there so I checked with the funeral director and he says that no one has dropped off any flowers. By this point it is now 9:15 and the service was scheduled to go until 11 am.

At 9:45 am I am still on the phone with 1-800-flowers and I tell them that this is unacceptable and that I want a full refund. The operator then tells me that she can offer me a $50 credit towards a future order. I paid $226 for a flower arrangement and they want to give me only $50 towards a future order. Why the hell would I want to order from them again? I requested that they give me the name of the florist assigned to this order so I can speak with them directly. After another 15 minutes on the phone with the flowers shop they tell me the driver is 5 minutes away. At 10:45 the driver finally shows up while there is only 15 minutes left of the funeral. This company is absolute garbage. Do not give these people your money and please get the word out. This company is a total joke.

She was in a very loud call center and didn't speak good English. I called back and gave them the correct address again. In the meantime, I received a customer feedback form in the email and filled it out. A rep. who spoke good English answered and made sure the correct address was on file.

The flowers were finally delivered. They didn't appear as pictured. They were supposed to contain sunflowers, lilies, and roses. There were no lilies, and they certainly weren't the large bouquet. At this point, I'm not calling back because it's evident that this organization is not concerned about quality. We initially chose white and peach southern living arrangement, she got white and red with Baby’s breath.

I found out from my mother that they arrived on Tuesday, April 30th. They were left on her doorstep, even though she was home and they could have knocked and handed them to her. Sloppy service. They don't deserve my money or my time and they certainly won't get it in the future.

I contacted the company and within 15 minutes I got a reply apologizing for the wrong bouquet and offered to send another bouquet "at no cost to me" to make things right. About 10 hours later I received another email telling me that they couldn't send the bouquet on "the date you requested of 5/4/19" because they "couldn't find a florist. The original bouquet was delivered on the date requested of 5/4. Today is 5/5/19. They also "suggested another arrangement" which IS the one I ordered in the first place. I replied to their most recent email telling me "we can't find a florist", and told them I wanted a full refund and if that wasn't possible, I would take the next step. I WILL pursue this. My Great Aunt of 101 year old passed away last week, I completed an online order to have the funeral service spray delivered on Tuesday directly to the funeral home. I did not receive a confirmation of the order so I called customer service about an hour after placing the order (which I believe may be in a foreign country, because I could barely understand the person and heard many of the same types of accents talking around her). At that time, the agent confirmed they had received the order and would process on the day requested.

The next day I received a call from a different service agent (again with a very heavy accent which I could not understand). I believe she said something about the order could not be completed due to "maximum capacity" on that day for their florist in the area. Not sure what that meant... Anyway, they said they could deliver it somewhere else rather than the funeral home. I don't think they understood that the only place to deliver the flowers was the funeral home, as I am out of state and do not have anywhere else to send the flowers. I asked her to cancel the order and that I would take care of it some other way.

I then received 4 phone calls over the next 2 hours asking me to have the flowers sent somewhere else so I could deliver them myself. Again, each call was from a different agent with a heavy accent that I could not understand. I called back with the a reference number and was told that I would have to call back 15 minutes to talk with an agent. I thought this was supposed to be customer service... At this point, all I wanted to do was cancel the order. The agent continued to try to get me to change the delivery and would not cancel the order.

Finally after telling him over and over to cancel the order, he kept saying, "We want to make it right...". The only way to make it right would be to do what I ordered originally. Finally after much arguing, I was able to get a verbal confirmation that my order was cancelled, but that it would take up to 2 billing cycles to get my refund. I will be disputing the charge the minute it is posted to my account. What a mess. Don't ever use 1-800-Flowers, as they don't have any customer service people that do anything but read from scripts and can't accommodate a basic funeral spray to a large city. Very disappointed...

It wasn't the same arrangement, as I ordered the one w/ chocolates but they gave me a 10% discount. I called today, at 1:30 pm as she hadn't received it yet and was told it couldn't be delivered until tomorrow now. Terrible management of the order processing. I cancelled and requested a refund. While placing this order I was told there was a "surcharge" based on the cost of the arrangement so the $150 arrangement would have had $72 added to it! So, I tried again online and the order supposedly was filled properly according to my confirmation emails. But nooo.

After much hoop jumping I had my order on route only to receive an email on the delivery day claiming my "flower" order was not able to be delivered because they couldn't find a local florist, I didn't order flowers, I ordered a gift. They also messed up the delivery date with Fed Ex that I had to straighten out earlier the previous week. I'm told all this news about non delivery on the day it was supposed to arrive. I called customer service and spent at least 45 minutes trying to figure out what was going on with my order but to no avail. I ended up speaking to a supervisor who informed me that the email was just a "mistake"and "I'm so sorry about that".

As of the writing of this review the package has not yet been delivered and I never received an email concerning my multiple times calling customer service and having an opportunity to leave a review about my experience when dealing with customer service as they mention when you call them, more lies. I wish I never made the mistake of ordering through 1-800-Flowers and unfortunately I had to give them only one star when they deserve zero. A few days ago, I got the sad news that one of my good friends who lives in another state had lost her young husband suddenly. I was devastated that I was not able to be there for the funeral, but although it was a financial sacrifice, I decided to send a beautiful bouquet to the funeral home. I selected a the bouquet online and paid a good amount of money and got an order confirmation. I even called customer service to make sure they would guarantee the bouquet would arrive early in time for the funeral viewing. The customer service person was very difficult to understand as the English was very broken, but she did reassure me that no worries the flowers will arrive in time for the funeral.

Today was the day of the funeral and I called three hours before the funeral began just to make sure the flowers were in route. The customer service person once again reassured me that the arrangement has been made and it is being shipped. Right before the funeral was scheduled to take place, I get a call from a different customer service representative saying that no florists in the local area would make the bouquet for the price that I paid! So the order was not fulfilled or delivered. I tried to compromise and asked if they could at least deliver the bouquet before the burial at the church before noon and I went through the whole process of giving the address of the church and the customer service person reassured me that a fresh Arrangement would be sent to the church the next day.

A few hours later, I get another call saying that they could not find any florist to make the arrangement and they will cancel my order. They said they would reimburse me for my order and didn't even offer anything to compensate for their mistake and my friend not getting flowers for her husband's funeral. I'm still waiting for a confirmation that they are reimbursing me and I have not gotten one! This is a very poor company with terrible customer service skills and people who can hardly communicate in English. I will never do business with this company again.

My 18 year old daughter placed an order for Mothers Day flowers. She works a part time job after school and makes very little, so this was a very sweet thing for her to do. She however comes to me today indicating she has been charged twice for the order and asked me what to do. I told her to call to dispute the charge. She called twice while in my presence and received the runaround, and told to call back.

I then took the information from her and called on her behalf. I telephoned at 5:10 pm on 5/1/19, and was answered by Shanaiah - who indicated she was answering from the Philippines. I explained an original order was placed for a TOTAL of $41.69 (free shipping and $15 off code used, sent by our cellphone carrier) but was charged $41.69 and then the next day $72.73. BOTH amounts have been deducted from her bank account! I told Shanaiah we have an order confirmation which clearly shows a total of $41.69, so why were we charged that amount PLUS $72.73. You can’t charge a customer a second time and a different amount that is on their confirmation page.

She puts me on hold and comes back saying the $41.69 will be refunded in 5 days, but the $72.73 is the total. NO, it isn’t as we have an order confirmation indicating the order total is $41.69. She puts me on hold again, comes back to tell me she will credit back the shipping fee of $17. NO, the order was $41.69 and if she can’t fix the mess to cancel the entire order and refund EVERYTHING! She puts me on hold again, comes back saying she will give a 15% discount. NO, cancel the order and refund everything. Put on hold again, comes back saying she is just doing what she is instructed and she can not cancel the order and issue a refund! All she can do is refund the difference between $72.73 and $41.69. Said it should be processed within two billing cycles.

Seriously! This company charges a child $41.69 plus $72.73 - says they will credit back $41.69 and $31.04 within two billing cycles, leaving her paying the original order amount of $41.69. I spent 25 minutes on the phone with Shanaiah, asking her numerous times to cancel the entire order and refund - which she refused. What kind of company are they running? Overcharge and double charge customers, refuse to cancel orders, and offer the worst customer service ever! Now we await the Mothers Day flowers she spent her hard earned money on, which will probably be subpar at best. Way to go 1-800-Flowers.com - way to turn a teen's special deed into a bad memory!

I ordered flowers for the first time through 1-800-Flowers and Never Again. I thought it would be a simple process. Pick the flowers you like and have them sent to who you wish. I was wrong. I just wanted a simple same day delivery for which I was willing to pay extra for to send Flowers to my Wife. I choose the flowers and vase and paid for them. Simple enough and they were delivered on time and during the time I requested But that is the only thing they got correct. She received the flowers and sent me a text with a picture of them and I said, “What are those? I didn't order those.” They weren't even in the same color spectrum of type of flowers I had ordered nor was the vase. I was just trying to do something nice for my wife since we are not in the same states together right now and wanted to send a nice surprise to her and 1-800-Flowers got it all wrong.

I immediately called them and told them of the issue. I talked to a gentleman who I could barely understand and was asking him over and over to repeat himself and when all was said and done, John had promised me that they would send the correct flowers and vase that I had ordered the very next day and the same time. I called my wife and told her this and so she was expecting flowers all day and the day went by and NO FLOWERS were delivered. So I went online typed in the new order number John had given me and it doesn't exist so I called 1-800-Flowers again. I politely explained my situation and they said, “We can offer you a 20% discount on your next visit.”

I said, “Absolutely not. I don't want to use your company again. I want a refund or fix the issue with the flowers that you promised you would do that you never did.” And they told me, “We will issue you a refund.” So we will see if they actually do refund my money or not if not I'm complaining to the BBB. They were not helpful in resolving the issue the second time and all she kept saying is, “Can you hold” and put me on hold for 20 mins at a time. I just wanted to do a simple gesture for my wife and they screwed it all up so now I have to go somewhere else to try and get it right and hopefully someone else will because I will Never Ever use 1-800-Flowers again and I suggest you don't either.

They will screw your order up or just not deliver it and think that it's ok or try to fix it with a coupon for your next order when on their website it clearly says and I quote from their site "All of our flowers & gifts are backed by our 100% Smile Guarantee, which we're proud to stand behind. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, for any reason at all, we'll do whatever it takes to make it right. This includes offering a refund, redelivery or comparable exchange on your order. It’s all part of our promise to provide you with an excellent customer experience every single time." and they don't even stand behind what they say on their own site. Bad Business if you ask me. Save yourself time and money and headache and just don't order or deal with 1-800-Flowers. It's just not worth it. I hope this helps someone before they have to go through what I have for the last 2 days with them.

What would you like me to do, have my son and daughter in law move to an area where they would deliver? Maybe I should tell them to move to NH so that they could get delivery? That's absurd. They live at the address I entered. To further anger me, they offered me a 20.00 Savings Pass on my next order. I know right? Like there would ever be another order. If they wanted to do something of value, they should offer a refund of the full amount of the purchase PLUS $20.00 credit on the same credit card to offset the aggravation over the two orders that 1-800-Flowers could not deliver as expected because the way I feel right now, I'd never buy another gift from 1-800-Flowers.

Very bad decision to choose this business for my Easter deliver. I ordered an Easter basket for my Grandson at college. Delivery date was supposed to have been today (April 20). I had to pay extra for a Saturday delivery. When I didn’t get a confirmation of delivery I called and was told it wouldn’t be delivered until Tuesday (23rd)! Reason, FedEx was closed and would not reopen until Tuesday. I told the lady I wanted a refund and forget the delivery but she said she would have to call FedEx and would I mind holding. I said, "No. Just refund my money" then hung up. I am still fuming. Never again.

Placed Easter basket order on 4/15/19, order summary advised order to be delivered on 4/19/19. Called at 8 pm on 4/19/19 to advise them the deliver had not been made. After being on the line with them for approximately 45 minutes they informed me that delivery could not be made on Good Friday. After tracking order the morning of the 20th it advised no scheduled delivery date available at this time. So back on the line for over an hour and a half now. I’ve been lied to 3 times and still on hold waiting for my confirmation email confirming my complete refund. I’ve insisted on speaking with a supervisor who forever seems to be unavailable. All I get from the customer service reps is, "I’m sorry or I understand!" This company is beyond horrible! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND, EVER!

An online order for an Easter flower arrangement was placed 4/17/19. A delivery was made 4/19/19 but it was not what I ordered. First the Customer Service people told me that what I ordered was indeed delivered. I had to send them the email received after placing the order to prove that an incorrect item was delivered. After several emails, they promised to send the correct item the following day. That did not happen. At 4:45 on the day the second delivery was promised, a phone call was received stating that the item I originally ordered was not available. They wanted to ship another item four days later. This is Customer-No-Service and I will never do business with them again.

Ordered flowers for Easter including one of their featured items - the Easter Egg. Though they said it was delivered, and redelivered, it never was. Had to fight with them to get a refund. They offered to redeliver... after Easter... Could not believe that one. Something is wrong with this company - their quality and service is really slipping.

I went online to place an order. All went well until it came to pay for my purchase. I filled in all my info and submitted my payment and received an error message. Mind you any other site would tell you where your error is but not their. I reviewed all my information and hit submit again and again went to review what the issue could possibly be. It's not like this was my first online order yet stated an error occurred. My thought was I know there's money in my account and my patience ran short and I logged out. Minutes later I checked my bank account and they had charged my account 3x's nearly $200.

I called 1800flowers and was connected to someone outside the states that was no help whatsoever. They first asked for my order # and told them it never processed a confirmation due to the error message they couldn't find my order by name, cc number, or my email...ALL info asked on their site. I tried disputing with my bank and they stated the charges were pending and two charges ended up coming back the next morning and that the last charge will be 3-5 days. I invested at least hours into this mess and ended up without flowers, gave money for a service I didn't receive yet had to wait for my money to be returned. 3 horrible hours that I can never get back. My advice. Buy local.

I ordered a corsage and boutonnière for prom. The day of prom I received an email stating my flowers arrived at my home. This was a lie. The flowers were never delivered. I called three times and was told each time that they were in fact delivered and that I signed for them with my name. Every time Asked to speak to a supervisor the call would be dropped. When I finally got in touch with a supervisor he admitted the flowers were never delivered because the florist didn’t have the items in stock. He said he would issue me a credit. It’s been one week and I still haven’t received a credit. I called today and they said once again they would issue a credit. I’ll believe it when I see it. My daughter had no prom flowers and I was told that I personally signed and received the flowers when in reality the flowers never came. And I’ve paid for a product they admit they never sent. And they haven’t given me my money back this was the most frustrating experience.

Ordered flowers 3 times from here and 2 times they did not arrive on time. They charge crazy prices for shipping and still can get things there on time. When contacted they will blame the weather (there was no bad weather) and even sent an email saying they tried to deliver but really never did. They will also blame the florist but when contacted the florist they stated 1-800-Flowers never sent them any information until late in the day. Customer service always just wants to give you a voucher for another order which barely covers the shipping charges.

My arrangement did arrive on time but I feared it was not. I spent 45 miserable minutes with a polite young man who spoke very poor English and was incapable of taking dictation of my name, order number or intended delivery. It was almost comic that I have a 6-letter name and it took 8 tries to spell it. The 12-digit order number, he never got after 12-15 tries. He tried to help but evidently his supervisor refused to help me and insisted he solve the problem by himself. If I can help it, I’ll never use 1-800-Flowers again. The customer service is impossible.

Ordered flowers and balloons for my daughter's birthday. First they accept the order and charge your card, i.e take your money. Then they call you to say they cannot find a local florist. Then they call again and say they did. And then they do not deliver and do not notify. Then when you try to get customer service to just return your money, they want to offer to redeliver at half the charge, or just return the shipping fee or give you a cheap coupon. Never order from 1-800-Flowers!!

I ordered flowers for a 94 birthday, several days in advance. Like other reviewers describe, I got an email the evening of the delivery date saying they were not able to deliver the flowers. I called the next day and spoke with customer service. The agent was completely lost. He literally put me on hold 4 times. He put me on hold to see what happened. He returns and initially offered me a coupon for a future purchase.

After the next hold, he offered full refund, delivery of flowers, and a coupon. As I was saying thank you, he put me on hold again, and returned with an offer of full refund OR delivery. I told him that was unacceptable, and he hung up on me. If you want to pay for delivery that won’t happen, then this is the place for you... Very poor service, very poor reliability, very high charges for delivery. Please take your business anywhere else.

I had to place the same day delivery order for a funeral basket in Scranton, PA and, as it was on a short notice, I even followed it up with a phone call to make sure that my order is received and that it will be delivered on time. Customer service assured me that the they prioritize funerals and that my delivery cut-off will be met. At 7:50 PM I received a call letting me know that the flower basked is NOT going to be delivered before the end of day, leaving me with no recourse.

Delivery time was supposed to be before 4 PM - they obviously knew that they are not going to make it 4 hours before contacting me. Had they called me right away I could have looked into an alternative, but no - this company just wants to make a buck, at any cost. Basic human decency is not a part of their business practices. CS rep offered to have the delivery scheduled to the home of the deceased the next day, at FULL PRICE of the flower basket and with refunded rush fee. The audacity...!!! Of course, I lost my ** and let them have so they agreed to issue a full refund. Just awful, buyer: beware!

Ordered same day delivery way before cutoff time. Paid for the extra service charge. Was called at the end of the day stating it could not be delivered until next day. Called them back and told them that would not work since nobody would not be home on that day and I paid for same day delivery for a reason. Had to fight to get a refund and am still on the phone trying to get my money back. Will go elsewhere from now on. This was my first and last time ordering from 1-800-Flowers.
