I didn't realise I was on a maintenance diet. Marquita is sending me info that will help me lose weight. The information in the SUCCESS diet was confusing. And not helping me. I think this new diet with all the little squares and not knowing the calories could be a lot easier. All I have done in 3 days is gain one pound and lose one pound.

I canceled this 02/12/2018. I repeated the cancel of service several times after that. Just could NOT get Your people to cancel out this Service. I'm Not paying anymore. I went North in May and You continued to send Product to FL. I had to hire a person to mail back the package You sent. They throw away the frozen package because You would not take it back.

I spent most of my adult life around 125 pounds until 5 years ago when my thyroid stopped functioning normally. This led to a lot of weight gain very quickly. After 4 years of trying to lose the weight myself, I gave this program a try. I have now lost 50 pounds in 7 months. I would, and have recommended the program to others.

I tried this program and became very sick. I had stomach issues the entire time from bloating stomach aches and dysentery every day multiple times per day. This is a very unhealthy way to lose weight. I called in and cancelled my order and they charged me a cancellation fee on PayPal and I did not authorize the transaction. They also said initial that I could keep the food when speaking with the first customer service rep.
I decide to call back and speak with another person who said they would charge me 19.99 to send back the food and they would reimburse me for the remainder of the food. I want a full refund for a horrible experience as I am now seeing a doctor for this problem. My primary explained that it would be best to meet with a gastrointestinal doctor which I am waiting for said appoint. Horrible experience and very displeased with the service NutriSystem provided during my discomfort.

Some of the dinners don't taste very good, especially the supposedly Italian flavored ones. The Italian sauce is bland. I tried to not re-ordered the ones I didn't like for my 3rd shipment. The "baked" bars are not very good either. But I like the structure of the system--I don't have to use a lot of self-control.

I had zero weight loss and wish to discontinue membership. I needed the discount of the auto-delivery to afford the program. I am not allowed to discontinue a program that is not working at all for me and cannot afford with no results.

They sent me a list of the included in the Turbo package. That amounted to 21 separate items, most of which were either a breakfast bar, or muffin, or a lunch bar, dinners were a list of Meals ready to eat some were like Military Meals ready to eat. But no one every called me to talk about the issue. They did not respond to my last entry which is fine. From what I can see this company is more about making money, and really don't care about customer service. I will do my two months and then go back to Healthy choice meals,if they treated me better they very well might have had a customer for a long time.

When signing up for Nutrisystem I noted the 7 day turbo pack had a meal with mushrooms (I can't eat mushrooms) so I asked for a replacement meal for the one with mushrooms. The guy deleted the whole turbo pack, and added 21 addition meals to what I had already picked. I had no idea that they would not actually substitute just the one item. So when I got my order no turbo pack. I called and was told, "Too bad. We don't swap out items from turbo pack." So based on my order I was told to eat the following items for the first 7 days Breakfast- 3 Cinnamon buns, 1 apple strudel bar and one cinnamon bar for breakfast, for lunch - 3 double chocolate bars, 1 cheese tortellini, 3 red beans and rice, and for supper- 2 turkey and dressing, 2 rotini w/ meatball, 2 penne bolognese and 1 chili.
First, this list of meals does not come close to the meals listed on the turbo pack. So what their stupid adviser did to me was screw me. The idea of the turbo week is to lose weight fast. They would not even tell me the items in the turbo pack, I went to eBay and found a listing for the men's turbo pack to learn what was in the pack which was 1 item of specific foods for each meal for the first 7 days, plus the shakes, and turbo bars.
To advise me to eat the same items 2 and 3 times in the first week is really screwing me. And who the hell wants to eat Double chocolate bars for a lunch. I thought this was going to be an easy process, but now I really feel I got screwed and am thinking about sending this back and doing South Beach Diet, because of the advise I got from the employee of Nutrisystem. If I thought eating the same items for a week was smart, I could have done that on my own, so thanks for nothing.
Updated on 06/18/2018: This is my second complaint in 4 days. They keep telling me that someone from my team will call, but they are off until Wed. Really, I have to speak to a specific person to get an issue resolved. I hope that person never dies! Now the issue I have tried to resolve and finally gave up. The Turbo Phase of the diet is designed to cause a greater weight loss within the first week. It supposedly so important that you're suppose to receive a "Turbo" box of specific items within the first week. My problem was that I requested a substitute for one item, and the counselor took it upon himself instead to send 21 items matching what I had already ordered.
Apparently, they cannot just open the "turbo box" and switch one item out. In my case I had only ordered 8 items that were included in the turbo week. When I realized what had happened, I called and asked for a turbo box, I was even willing to pay extra for it. The counselor instead look at what had been ordered and then told me to eat some of the items 2-3 and 4 days in a row, because they apparently had the same calories as the items of the turbo box item, but really no one wants to eat the same thing that often. They would not even tell me what was included in the Turbo box and I was told I could not purchase it separately.
I wonder if I could not substitute one item, then why not send me a single item of everything in the Turbo box except the one Item I did not want. I mean really, so I end up with 13 items as duplicates because I didn't want one item. And I did not get to make this choice. Going back and forth over the phone and online wasting my time, because Nutrisystem people continue to say, "Just try to match the calories of each day using the non turbo items, by using the items you have."
This tells me the turbo phase of the program is a crock, why even have a turbo box if 80% of the items can be swapped out and you can receive the same result? I think what is really happening is that Nutrisystem is sending 21 different items, within the turbo box not because you lose weight faster in the beginning of the diet, but because these are items that most people will not order. (Consider I only ordered 8 of the 21 items), so Nutrisystem is pushing them off as some kind of accelerated diet phase.
Another problem they would not tell even tell me what was in the Turbo box until I asked over and over again. And finally why is it that you can buy a turbo box on eBay but Nutrisystem will not sell it separately. Also their need to do something about the web pages. It takes around 3-5 minute to load each page, and because of this you end up calling and on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. Just to review one item and the contents of the item, it took well over 8 minutes for the 2 web pages to load. God forbid you have a problem online and call because while the people really act as if they are helping you with the problem they seem to make it worse. They need to take some of the advertising budget and upgrade their website.
Updated on 07/02/2018: The majority of the problems I have had with NutriSystem has to do with your choice of shipper, FedEx. The original shipment gets delivered to the wrong address. Then the second shipment is received without a turbo box. On the 27 June, the turbo box is sent again, FedEx claims inclement weather at an airport, and later notifies me shipment will not arrive until 7 July. Because of the misdelivered shipment, and not including the Turbo box in the 2nd shipment then the delay of receipt of the turbo box, I stand to start my diet 3 weeks after the original start date. (I actually started the diet without the turbo box, losing 2 weeks).
When contacting Nutrisystem about the issues, I am offered free shakes, free turbo bars and discounts on the next shipment. All of these offers are appreciated, but they do not make up for the frustration I have experience. I hope my second month shipment of 24 days is delivered on time, but I am not going to hold my breath. By the way telling me 4-10 days is the normal time to receive a shipment is BS. I order stuff over the internet all the time and get items in 2 and 3 days depending on the shipper, the method used and the item. Nutrisystem, could do better by the customer and use a different shipper.

I have to say I was quite pleased when I lost 30 lbs. I never would have been able to do it on my own. I'm on disability, was unable to do much. I only got worse sitting around doing nothing. I saw a picture someone took of me, and I knew I had to do something.

Received a letter along with the order stating that my frozen foods would be shipped separately. Box delivered afternoon on 5/31/2018. Called 6/15/2018 at 9:59 AM. Person on phone said my order didn't contain frozen foods. Said my next order could be changed to include frozen food. Based on the quality of the instant soups, cheese puffs, popcorn snacks, instant oatmeal, the value isn't there. Asked to cancel, told a charge of $125 will be added to my card because I had selected auto ship? and I called 10 hours too late past the 14 days and to cancel for free. So they don't hold to a written letter saying my "frozen food will arrive separately" but insist on charging me $125 for cancelation for claiming I signed up for auto ship on the website.

The customer service gentleman referred me to the dietary counselors for help. I emailed them and received 3 emails within an hour. 3 items had almonds in them and I am allergic to almonds. So, 3 replacement items have been ordered. Super fast service! I am thankful for everyone’s help in this matter and will recommend Nutrisystem to other friends.

Upon receiving my second shipment of frozen food, much was lost because no dry ice had been packed, as it had been previously. I called Nutrisystem requesting a credit, which they would not process. Instead they said the only recourse was for them to resend the order of frozen food. When the order was resent, it wasn't the frozen food, but instead the dry food. The company's attitude was one of indifference to me and their follow through to a mutually agreeable conclusion was pathetic.

FYI I am 81 years old, a male and an RN still working. I found myself at 202lbs when I needed to be about 170lbs, started 3 month ago and so far have lost 17lbs. My experience has been: the whole thing is about learning food selection and portion control otherwise you will lose the weight and put it right back on. Most of the meals are good, one or two have been not so good and a few have been excellent, but they are providing you with a lot of variety and all and all the food is satisfying and convenient. Several people that know I am doing Nutrisystem have talked to me and one of the main concerns seems to be about the cost. It works like this, you are buying most of your groceries just one time a month, you will still need to buy supplementary vegetables and a few other things but in my case once I deducted junk food and fast food meals I probably am spending less.
The delivery has been perfect. It comes by FedEx and has been right on time and nothing has been damaged in shipment. You get 2 boxes one with shelf storage items and a box of frozen stuff packed with dry ice. The frozen stuff has been always still frozen so far! The people at Nutrisystem have been very good to work with always courteous and helpful, replies by Email take a little time but they will get back with you and work things out to your satisfaction.
Looking back I remember only one really bad moment, I had just received my first package and had what seemed to be a huge number of packages of food all over the kitchen table and didn't know where to start to make sense of it all, my wife told me "look for the instructions!" Sure enough I found the instructions and read them it made sense. Read the directions, DON'T OVERTHINK IT. Just do what you are supposed to and it will work. You didn't get overweight in two weeks, you won't lose it in two weeks have some patience. GOOD LUCK!

I was very happy with the first two orders I received from Nutrisystem and have been losing weight at a regular pace. As with anything we eat, I didn't care for some items and liked others very much. On Friday I received an email saying I had through Sunday to customize my next order which would process on Monday. I was not able to go online until Sunday evening. Last time I customized my order I had to have assistance because my profile didn't show an order scheduled. They said I had multiple profiles set up so they corrected it. This time when I went online, same thing - no record of a pending order. I called and emailed but could not get anyone to respond. I listened to hold music until just before midnight when I gave up.
It's an expensive program, but like I said I was happy with the results and figuring out what I wanted from the menu. But too expensive to accept what I didn't care for. I was able to cancel my shipment (at least I was told that so I hope to see a credit to my bank account soon). I then cancelled my plan. I can't spend that kind of time trying to get customer service that should be readily available to customers. The man that spoke with me to cancel my plan was not what I would hope for in a customer service department either. I did get assistance Monday, by chat, with someone who was pleasant and very helpful. Since I cancelled I've received an email asking me back for a reduced price, but would have to agree to auto shipment for 4 months. I might agree for the price to an additional month or two, but not 4. Maybe it's just time to move on to another plan for me.

I received my first Nutrisystem order on Saturday in hopes for it to be a positive experience. Unfortunately it started off terribly. My first shipment came with dry food and ANTS! I've included some pictures for you to see. I figured maybe a package opened within the box, which might have attracted ants along the way, no packages were open instead there must be ants in their facility, which is how the ants got in there. Needless to say this has made the food delivered even less appetizing than I expected.
I hoped that considering this inconvenience when I called customer service they'd attempt to make me feel better about the situation, like it was rare or that they would make up for it with a discount etc. Instead they only offered me a routine line about how they would let their shipment facility know and give me a 15 dollar discount on my next delivery. This leads me to believe it's a routine occurrence and I'm not the first one to call about it. I truly recommend just doing another weight loss program out there, the food isn't appetizing on this plan and it's more expensive than its worth. If you still decide to order, just open the package outside so you don't have ants getting into your kitchen. I didn't realize 300 dollars meant I'd get the gift of ants too.

The person that responded to my email inquiry was helpful and polite. The person that answered the phone yesterday when I called was the exact opposite - she was rude, unhelpful, and extremely frustrating. I had some questions about customizing my order when I called, but she was so rude in the first 30 seconds of our call that I didn't want to stay on the phone to ask her anything else. My experience so far has been like that - either the employee I speak with is extremely nice and helpful, or the exact opposite.

While my inquiry was responded to very quickly I am discouraged that Nutrisystem uses artificial sweetener - not aspartame but sucralose is the same hazardous ingredient to the body. I did ask if there is a menu plan with items that do not contain artificial sweetener but have not received an answer. I’m thinking if I avoid desserts I will be OK but don’t have an answer.

I called the counseling support line this morning and spoke with Sarah. She was FANTASTIC!!! I work overnight and was struggling with how to eat on my schedule and she gave me very supportive guidance, giving me many suggestions on how to adjust my Nutrisystem meals to be most beneficial for my weight loss progress as well as some great recipe ideas. She also emailed me a grocery guide which will be very helpful to me.

I would never do business with this company again! You said I chose automatic refill. I did not select this option. You evidently must deselect this option otherwise it is selected. Had I been notified prior to your shipping my second order, I would have cancelled. This again shows that you were deceptive.

Tried the diabetic plan but my blood sugar numbers dropped significantly so program did not work for me. I cancelled my 2nd shipment because of this but was told I would have to pay the $125 cancellation fee because I had to do 2 months. I ended up having to pay $152 to cancel. The whole experience was not a good one - didn't lose much weight, my blood sugar numbers dropped too low (50 at one point) & I had to pay money to cancel the 2nd month shipment.

NOBODY told me there was a 14 day time limit to get refund. It was suppose to be after a month on the program. I did everything just like the program said. I called at the time and said I didn't lose the weight. Said I go for another month total loss was 8LB. Not happy and will not be happy you lied and cheated me.

After posting my concern about the issue I was having with the Nutrisystem app, a NS representative called me directly to discuss. As with many interactive Apps, there are some technical limitations. I appreciated their caring enough to call me and we ended up finding a work around. The rep was terrific! I love NS and it is my ‘go to’ program when I need a little support with weight loss.

Reviews state that their product is wonderful, many a success story has been written. However, a wonderful product is practically useless if a customer struggles to obtain it, to the point of frustration. I've attempted for 3 days to order through the website, only to be consistently frustrated by a web page that is horribly slow to load, and can't complete an order as the site simply is broken. So, I attempted to order through my smartphone, which is an awkward process at best, attempting to navigate through a tiny screen.
After all this, working with on-line chat specialists, and they were incapable of resolving the many issues with pricing, applying appropriate discounts (auto-shipping, Veteran, etc. ), and when the order was processed, it suddenly jumped (and was billed ) $30 over what was quoted. Again, customer support was unable to change or modify the order, and so I was forced to cancel the entire order. After all this, they asked me to place the order again, to again experience the frustration of customizing an order through a smartphone (due to limited freezer space), and trust that the billing would be correctly done.

I informed them that I could not do the dried foods due to a digestive issue. My doctor explained that it was no doubt a preservative being used. I have continued to try and reach someone via phone or chat. I finally sent an email which responded stating I needed to contact customer care. I tried that. No luck so I called the number to cancel the deliveries for now. I told that operator and she transferred me to customer care. Before doing that I told her I did not want to be left on hold. Didn’t matter. I was. I was only supposed to get frozen food shipped but lo and behold I got dried again then I emailed again. Got a response telling me it’s too late to return the stuff.

This is a very good meal plan. I am very happy with my results and feel I am losing the weight in a timely manner. I am excited about the way I am feeling with the weight loss. I am going to tell my friends about how good the food is.

Not listening when I say cancel the plan - I called as instructed and was on hold for over 10 minutes. I like the plan but the difficulty of stopping the plan is a dealbreaker. I'm not wasting any time calling in. Very unfortunate as I have recommended the plan to several friends.

I tried Nutrisystem and found it did not work for me. When I tried to cancel, the gentleman I spoke with told me I could not cancel because I had committed to 2 months. I explained that 1200 calories was not enough for me because I work out. He said I could "add food" to my monthly plan. Mind you, a month of food is almost 400.00. I was having a very difficult time affording that, much less justifying it when I stayed starving! He proceeded to ask me how much my grocery bill was. When I told him my personal bills were none of his business, he became very defensive. He was rude and argumentative. Almost to the point of yelling over anything I tried to say. Needless to say, I am very sorry I tried Nutrisystem. In my opinion, it is a racket. I should have listened to my husband. He tried to warn me.

I have tried repeatedly to contact customer service over the last 2 weeks and have been unsuccessful. I received a coupon code in April for 25% off a shake order and it wouldn't work in May when I tried to use it. I have called and never got through, emailed several times and tried the online chat. Ordered $331 on April 2018 custom meals. Some are good, some tasted horrible. They automatic charged me another $331 in May for auto-order, fine, I did not read it careful from beginning. Then I had to call to cancel auto-order because I could not do that on my account with them, I could only delay order instead. Called, they said order already placed, can't cancel. Fine, I said cancel the next one and remove me from automatic order since I want to choose whatever I like and whenever I want to buy.
They shipped the frozen meals next day, cool, waited for 3 weeks for dry meals but not happens. Contact the rep and they said I canceled the dry portion of that order. Well, so why didn't I get the refund? Whatever right, I chose to cancel the dry meals, which about 1/2 of the meals and they only refund $12. For half of the food, that I paid $331 for. Policies, cancel charges, they did not know exactly how much I would get for refund until I requested it. If I change my mind, I gotta call customer service. You know what, $12 is fine, not expensive, for the lesson, and I learned do not trust those freaking scams. Want to diet, count the calories and cook yourself a homemade/safe meal at home, it works. I was lazy and now lesson learned.

I was charged about $30 more on my 2nd order than the 1st. I asked customer service twice why and never received a response. I've been on this program over a month and not lost anything. I requested to cancel my subscription in writing, which should be much more official than verbally and was told I had call to cancel. That is ludicrous and a waste of my time. I shouldn't have to call and be pressured to keep my subscription especially if I'm not successful with it. I'm not happy with this entire experience.

I placed an order in early May when I was in the States since I reside in the Bahamas and you do not deliver to the country. I asked for a 2 month supply. Asked for everything to come at once (frozen/non frozen etc) which I was also told they can do. The person (I think his name was Joe) who placed the order for me guaranteed the product would be delivered no later than Monday May 7th knowing I was leaving the country on 5/8. The place I wanted it delivered to was a friend's apartment we were renting until Tuesday 5/8.
A few days later I received a notification that the product would be delivered by Wednesday 5/9. As soon as I received the notification I called immediately to discuss. The person(s) I spoke with apologized and ensured the order would be canceled. Now I am getting a charge for a product I never received. I do not live there and if it was delivered after we left no one ever signed for a product. How do you send an expensive shipment with perishables and do not require a signature for proof?!?
Also when I initially ordered your product I placed another order for my Friend and she received everything on 5/4 who resides in Staten Island NYC! The Gentleman told me the warehouse is in Atlanta GA and since I was having this delivered to Miami it would be a guaranteed delivery. I want the charges taken off my American Express bill and I want my CC information to be deleted from your business. Initially I was so disappointed I was not receiving the product. I was looking forward to this weight loss journey, since I am a new mom and looking to lose these extra pounds. When the rep canceled everything I was relieved and even considered ordering in the future when we move back to the US. Now my feeling have changed and I am utterly pissed off with this service. I am looking forward to your response and clearing my charges.

The food is terrible and overpriced for what it is. Had to do 2 months (the second month being MUCH more expensive than the first for the same food) to avoid a $125.00 cancellation fee. I figured I would eventually eat the food that I've received, but honestly most will end up in the trash. Called to cancel and it took 20 minutes on an automated menu just to get to a real person, and once they answered, there was another 20 minutes of questions and badgering as to WHY I wanted to cancel. My answer to every question was, "I'm not satisfied, please cancel my order." Finally got them to cancel it and give me a confirmation number, but from other reviews I've read, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up still charging me and I will have to spend another obscene amount of time to get it resolved. Would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone.

I purchased food from Nutrisystem in 2017. I was not satisfied, so I returned the uneaten food pursuant to their instructions. I did not receive my refund apparently due to an oversight on their part. I contacted Nutrisystem again and they responded promptly and apologized for the oversight and assured me I would receive the refund as soon as my credit card company processed it. I am very grateful to get this matter finally resolved.

I was so angry that I didn't get my money back guarantee, so I posted a review here. Lo and behold, 2 days later I was contacted by Nutrisystem trying to get my problem solved. I was treated with sincere, and great courtesy. Much better than how I was treated over the phone. They sent me a return label, I packed up the food I didn't eat, and sent it all back. I received my money back today with a very nice email notification. I am extremely impressed. I thought I'd just had an extremely expensive lesson learned, but Nutrisystem really does mean it when they say "Money Back Guarantee." I'm living proof. Thank you Nutrisystem! But, I still do not recommend that TurboBoost food. Don't waste your money on it.

I'm glad this system works for some people, but it didn't for me. There should be all kinds of warnings on their website, a list of foods that will be shipped in the "Turbo Boost" first week, and they should give longer than 14 days to get your money back. The food is nasty tasting, full of sugar, and very high in carbohydrates while semi-low in calories and high in fiber. But it tastes like highly processed food. The frozen food is pretty good, though. If you want to continue on this system, then opt-OUT of the turbo-boost week unless you can handle feeling starved all the time. The breakfast and lunch bars have so much sugar that it creates cravings rather than satisfies them.
I live in a rural area, and the mail service of FEDEX or UPS doesn't come every day, only every other day and never on weekends. Nutrisystem says I received my food on May 16 & 17. I did not. I received my boxed, unfrozen food on Thursday, May 17. I didn't receive my frozen food until a week later on May 23. That literally gave me 14 days to decide if it was worth it or not to be eligible for the money back guarantee.
I called today on June 1st to get my money back and to find out how to send the frozen food back. I was told that I was not within the 14 days to return. I am so angry. I am well within the 14 days from when I RECEIVED the food. The food costs more than my regular grocery bill at Walmart. Very dissatisfied. Screaming angry that the "customer service" person sounded sort of gleeful when she informed me that I had missed the 14 day deadline, but I didn't because the frozen food arrived on my front porch by 9am on May 23. She argued with me, talked over me, and didn't listen to me or try to help me. Just wanted me to bend over and continue with the program because I could pick out my own food from now on.

I started Nutrisystem for weight loss. I have never tried the product and prior to placing my order called customer service to make sure I knew what I was getting into. I spoke to a woman named Celia. Celia's main concern was getting my credit card information. I would ask about the plan, she would ask for payment, I would ask about deals, she would ask for payment. This should have raised a red flag. I was shipped my initial order, nothing was said about this being a contract, nothing was signed, there wasn't any verbal agreement that Nutrisystem would continue to take money from my account without permission. Nor did Celia inform or offer any of the current promotions Nutrisystem had at the time.
A few weeks later I made another order and when my food arrived, it had all been crammed into a box, the packages were bent and torn the food ruined. I contacted Nutrisystem via phone and email and never received a response - no apology, no let me take care of that, nothing. That was at least $30-45 food ruined. Strike two. Last night, I received an email that Nutrisystem was going to withdraw over $400 from my account - and indeed when I checked my account they ALREADY HAD.
I contacted them this morning and spoke to Bill - yet another horrible representation of customer service. There is nothing else to say except Bill was rude. I explained that I didn't sign a contact, I hadn't been told about a contact and Bill explained that he would then charge me an additional $125 to cancel the nonexistent contract. I told Bill about the ruined food, explained that Nutrisystem had chosen not to respond in regards to this issue - Bill refused to do anything about it - was snotty enough to say maybe I needed to speak to someone smarter, well Bill, by all means please find me someone with some brains! Needless to say, the situation wasn't rectified, the money withdrawn, the food not replaced and the worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. I will never use Nutrisystem again, nor would I recommend it to anyone strictly on their staff and how they treat their customers. Minimal weight loss and a HUGE rip off.

Most of the counseling has been excellent. The food is good. My experience with your delivery agent has not been so good this month. My frozen shipment was left setting in the sun and the delivery person did not ring the doorbell to let me know it had arrived. My other box has been laying in a warehouse in Kansas City MO for 4 days and the last time I looked it says delivery is pending. I wonder if my complaint against them has put me on a list. I did bring it to a counselors attention yesterday, my second complaint about them. I have done fairly well on the program--to date have lost 25 pounds and will weigh again tomorrow. I tried Nutrisystem, and the food was terrible. The only way to cancel is via phone, so I delayed the next order for a couple months until I finally called. Well, I finally go to cancel via phone, and I have been on hold for 56 of the 58 minute call so far. I talked to one rude customer support person who supposedly forwarded me on. It's not possible to cancel, and even online chat is telling me there is a $125 fee.
I read everything when I was placing my initial order and never saw anything that mentioned this fee. I specifically was looking for it. I asked online chat for proof that I agreed to it, and of course there is none. I am not paying $125 to cancel and stop receiving this garbage food. I have wasted most of my night trying to cancel between phone and online support. Do not sign up with Nutrisystem!

I think the two websites, NuMi and the ordering site have a poor user experience. They don’t work well together and the interaction is clumsy. Numerous times the promo codes do not show up in NuMi. Ala carte discounts do not show up and force me to chat with the reps. If I didn’t get free rewards, I would not use the site. Too much time is spent on promotion and not enough on quality on user experience

I was talked into trying out Nutrisystem as a buddy and I were losing weight together. We bounce between Keto and Paleo but decided to try Nutrisystem out. We figured we'd try for a month and decide from there. Somehow I got put into an auto renew plan for $400+ and when I called to cancel, they are charging me $150 to cancel. I wouldn't recommend Nutrisystem to anyone after my billing experiences. If you want to be on a Nutrisystem type diet, just control your portions and have a high fiber diet to curb hunger. That's all their meals do anyway. So save yourself the money and the hassle of their auto renew policies/cancellation policies. Stay away or your wallet will lose more weight than you will on Nutrisystem.

I love Nutri and it works (5 months and 37 lbs so far) but the customer service is a joke, if a mistake on their end occurs you will never get your money back! A promotion that I was told was applied was not so I asked for the issue to be fixed and was told it was but then the following month it again was not, so I questioned it again and was told the promotion was only for new customers (okay no problem, but I was a new customer when the ongoing promotion was suppose to have been applied 3 months earlier).
I was paying $340 a month and the promotion would have saved me $20 a month. Then on Nutrisystem's account I found an ad for the same promotion for previous customers not just new ones so I sent it to customer service saying it was not just for new customers so they needed to fix my account, they still refused so I called to cancel and would just then become a returning customer and use the promotion online (I initially signed up over the phone). Then all of a sudden they could apply the promotion when I called to cancel. It was such a runaround and I basically lost $80 in the end because they didn't just fix the issue from the beginning.

Weight loss program - I spoke with rep by phone & made it clear that I only wanted to try food for one month. I chose deluxe foods at upgraded price. Received cheapest food so for week one. Food is disgusting. I called upon receipt of foods when I noticed auto reorder on packing slip. They said I had agreed to that when I clicked their online agreement. Food cost me twice what I had agreed to and 75% of it went in the trash - inedible.

Ripoff, food delivered to empty house! program cancelled last month but food delivered anyway, customer service that takes calls doesn't answer over 20 minutes on hold, however if you call to order food they answer in less than 4 minutes, fraud and rip-off by design, refunds held until they charge you again. I was told by the order department that they show I called last month but there is no record of what was said???? I cancelled my order and your customer service department once again FAILED to do their job. Always the same excuse, "We have a high volume of calls and are doing our best." Well this time the frozen food will rot the other shipment will just sit there and the charge is being disputed, Next is the social media posting that outlines the EPIC fail! Lots of money for commercials but no money for customer service.
It is not an inconvenience! It is not acceptable! I did not want nor order the food that was delivered! What do you think the condition of the frozen food is as it has been sitting outside for over 24 hours? The person I spoke with on 4/23 was fully informed that no more orders were to be shipped and that the program was cancelled. Apologies were given and assurance that it would be handled.
I can’t explain what your transfer to and no contact record shows. It was virtually impossible to reach you then, (no differently than last evening) and for you to once again tell me to “CALL YOUR OVERBURDENED, NO ANSWER CS Line is ridiculous and insulting again.” Your excuse that, "We can’t help you, go to a different department" is simply unacceptable unless it is as I suspect just a strategy for you to dismiss an unhappy caller like it happened AGAIN last night and now AGAIN through you. We have contacted the credit card company and are disputing the charge. You seem perfectly happy to let the food sit and rot! I am sure it will make a great picture three days from now. There is no one there to handle it and you seem quite confident that you can just give an apology and let me pay for your mistake!

I ordered Nutrisystem for one month. I was unaware that this meant that the company would continue to charge my credit card and send food every month. I did not care for the food and although I followed the plan exactly as it was laid out. Lost very little weight in the first 2 weeks. I called to cancel the plan and make sure that they did not send me any more shipments. I was told that if I cancelled there was a $125 cancellation fee. I would like to make sure that anyone considering signing up for Nutrisystem realizes that their weight loss claims are exaggerated and that you are setting yourself up to spend a great deal of money (well over $300 per month) and they make it very difficult to stop doing business with them.

I requested a cancellation within the 14 day required. I was told by the 1st Nutrisystem rep I contacted that there would not be a problem. I explained that I had toss the original shipment container (thinking I was being fair.) He (the rep) actually thanked me for my fairness. I ASS-U-MED all was fine and forgot it (Big mistake). I received an email telling me "my order will be there within a week."
I immediately call Nutrisystem to put a stop to further shipping and explained what has transpired. She (another rep) TOLD me that I MUST accept the order! I had ZERO recourse! I tried to explain what had transpired to this point, which I was told TUFF (not her word, but it was how I perceived it). I was told the shipment had not shipped yet BUT again I had no recourse and was told my CC would be charged. I could have contacted my bank and had Nutrisystem blocked not wanting to do such a thing, I didn't. I'd hoped Nutrisystem would not charge me when it was found out this 2nd order was canceled in time. Nutrisystem would be as honorable as I and not send the order and not continue this process. That's my explanation, I am still hoping Nutrisystem will return what has been charged to my account as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Omg, I received a coupon that clearly states $249/Every shipment. When I order it says $289. Called them, they say $249 for women. It doesn't state that anywhere on the coupon (man/Woman). Classic bait & switch. Problem Nutrisystem, that is illegal in the state of California

Decided to do a month of Nutrisystem to see if it was doable. Was not impressed with the food or the small portion size. Cereal packets could fit in a shot glass. Totally not worth the price I paid. Always hungry 30 minutes later is not what I call a diet. Noticed on my bank account Nutrisystem sending out a second round and I immediately canceled. After canceling the $357.98 worth of food. I'm billed an additional $125.00 to cancel the order. Should have read all these negatives in Consumer Affairs before ordering. Seems everyone is having issues with this $125.00 billing. Seems like a racket. "You don't like our food, we charge you a fine". Like all the other comments from Nutrisystem Customer Service, highly doubtful I will be contacted.

I am writing this review with regard to Nutrisystem, which I requested and purchased over the phone on April 20. I have had problems keeping the weight off all my life, and debated whether to try Nutrisystem, but since it sounded easy, and you could lose weight fast, I decided to give it a try. The representative I spoke with suggested I get the “Weekends Off” Plan since I only wanted to lose 15 pounds, and did not want re-occurring shipments sent to me. When I received my food on April 27, a letter was in the box that said “welcome back” which I didn’t understand, since I had never been on Nutrisystem before.
I also did not receive some of the guide information, and called a counselor to request it. And, I wasn’t prepared to supplement the diet, since I thought everything was all-inclusive. I only received a box of dry food, and wondered why I never received any frozen foods, but since then, after speaking with a counselor, found out you do not receive cold food with this plan and that it was for Maintenance of weight and not weight loss, which I was never told. I was not familiar with what to do, and was very confused on how to use the plan. To date (May 23), I have only lost 3 pounds since I started the plan on April 28.
Aside from all the confusion I listed above, most of the Nutrisystem food products contain “Soy”, which I am allergic to, since it causes me to experience a lot of gas and gastro distress, but continued with the program, since I purchased the plan and was determined to lose weight. In closing, I would say I am very disappointed with this plan, and wish I had never spent the money to lose only 3 pounds!

I was applaud when the items arrived. I was waiting on a second box of frozen items which never arrived. $360 for what was received is downright unacceptable. You sure paint a different picture in your advertisements. 1 box on noodles and cookies. In addition, I ordered the Men's Diabetic plan and I received a Woman's plan. So frustrated, I cancelled the plan only to find out that I am now being penalized an additional $100 for withdrawing. Shame on you. All you are doing is taking advantage on struggling people. Shame.

I received an incorrect order from NutriSystem. I called to request an exchange and have currently been on hold for over an hour. Not one person has picked up. I proceeded to "chat" with a representative online whose only advice is to "try calling at another time." I get it now; this is done on purpose so that they can deter people from attempting to cancel. They want to inconvenience you as much as possible so you give up. I would have never joined if I knew it would be this terrible. They should seriously be ashamed. With technology how it is now, there isn't a single reason why a call shouldn't be answered in a reasonable amount of time.

As soon as I got my first order I immediately started seeing deals for $100 less/month than what I was paying. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a price reduction which I have sent 3 emails and spent an hour on the phone two separate times. Others on the NS FB page have been successful so I know it is possible but all I keep hearing is that I have been given a ‘courtesy’ discount for one month vs the price everyone else is paying. I am about to cancel my membership due to frustration and rejoin at the now advertised price which seems ridiculous!! I am frustrated but also recognize that $100/month when I intend to be on this program for many months is a big deal. I have been very disappointed in the customer service I have been given.

Bagel and cinnamon rolls received had green mold growing on it when I opened the package. Expiration date was July 2018 and I opened them in May 2018. This is completely unacceptable to me and frustration with Nutrisystem continues. I have asked to send food once a month, because that is when I am paid and claims are that cannot be done. I order extra food from you to make it work, so I am not cheating the program. If things do not improve, I will be forced to try another diet program.

I am a type ll diabetic so I subscribed to Nutrisystem's diabetic weight reduction program. I received my order and it included all kinds of sweet snacks that I try to stay away from. The other food is mediocre. I canceled after my first order (should have returned the food) and was informed that a cancellation fee would be applied if I did not take my second order but I was not told how much, within a minute of hanging up my credit card was charged $125. This brought the total to nearly $500 for one order for food that is extremely overpriced. Bottom line--I do not like their program and do not recommend it. I consider it a real scam.

After my second delivery, I needed to cancel my Nutrisystem program with the intentions of resuming the program sometime later in the year. I called to cancel and spoke with a guy named Anton (sp?). Anton gave me a really hard time. He asked a lot of questions, and I answered them. But after a while I told him I couldn’t keep answering questions because I was at work and didn’t have a lot of time to speak with him. Anton said he had to ask the questions and that I should call back when I had more time to answer his questions. I said no and that I wanted to cancel now. He said he couldn’t cancel without asking his questions. I said, "So you’re refusing to cancel my program?" He got nasty and said I wasn't listening to him. I said, "Ask your questions and then just put “N/A” as my response." So he asked another question. I said “N/A”. He said, "That’s your answer?" I said yes. He said, "Your program is cancelled." Then the phone went silent.
There was about 2 minutes of silence. I didn’t hang up because I knew there was supposed to be a survey at the end. Anton was trying to get me to hang up myself so I wouldn’t be able to take the survey. After 2 minutes, he said “Hello?” I said “When will I be taken to the survey?” He said “I’ll transfer you right now.” Then I was taken to the survey. I feel like Anton was extremely unprofessional, rude, and deceptive. From telling me to call back when I had more time, to saying I wasn’t listening to him, to trying to get me to hang up without taking the survey. I had every intention of resuming Nutrisystem at a later time but this experience with Anton shows me what I’ll have to go through again. So Anton has made me not want to use Nutrisystem again.

The food has been pretty good and I was having a decent experience. I decided to cancel my auto shipments because it is too difficult with my lifestyle right now (traveling a lot). I have called 3 times and get put on hold and no one ever answers. I typically hang up after holding for 15+ minutes. I tried to email to cancel since I couldn't get through and they won't cancel for me. They told me I could only call. One of the most appealing things about the program was the ease of use since I am extremely busy being a working mom. It is not easy if I have to sit on hold forever! I am starting to feel like you make it very difficult for people to quit so you can keep collecting their money. This is ridiculous!

13 pounds Turbo plan, company in general: Demand a trial period if you start a plan!! I am very unhappy. You have to supplement the food you receive with your own food, which increases the true cost and decreases the simplicity... unless you can afford your own chef. Trying to stop the shipments is a nightmare and cost me $125 to leave the plan early. Was not happy with the food or the games they play if you want to stop. You have to really want to lose weight to make this plan work. Exercise and eat right and you'll be further ahead (and it will cost a lot less). I do NOT recommend.

There are a great many people with reviews here that I am unfortunately experiencing as well. Primarily this has to do with the largely hidden charges of $125 for not continuing with the second month of Nutrisystem DESPITE the 14 day money back guarantee. I am not asking for my money back but I find that Nutrisystem is also practicing a baiting ploy and not disclosing with reasonable due diligence when it comes to this highly hidden fee. Both my wife and I (for personal support reasons) embarked on this plan together. Both of us have become ill from the foods and in her case, she has actually gained weight where she was losing it prior. I have only lost 1 pound over two weeks which is not remarkable or statistically significant.
I contacted Nutrisystem and was stonewalled after having been on the plan for 14 days. No one even mentioned the guarantee policy and all I wished to do was exit the program and discontinue further shipment and charged. Both of us asked for contact from someone of authority and was assured they would be in contact within 24-48 hours. It has been 7 days without any word via phone or email.
Aside from the incredulous policy and general usery being perpetrated by Nutrisystem on these points, I work with 200 people who have taken great interest in my efforts and Nutrisystem. Based upon the above, not only is Nutrisystem at risk of being discredited on its program but from a consumer perspective is at great risk of sullying its overall reputation and "guarantees". The sad thing is that I did Nutrisystem some 25 years ago and it was not only effective but an upstanding business in terms of how it treated customers. This has obviously gone by the wayside. Now I am at a point wherein I guess I WILL lose weight simply from the fact that Nutrisystem will be gouging me $250 from my food budget this coming month and I will simply not be able to afford eating. Well done. I guess this is the real secret to the program.

Can't seem to get Frozen Shipment delivered. When I call, email, whatever, I always have trouble getting through to someone and when I do I am put on hold and placed there forever. I get frustrated after twenty minutes or so and hang up and try again. I have contacted NutriSystems at least six times to resolve this matter. I am ready to drop the program even though I have had great results. Too difficult to deal with. I just want my shipment delivered. Is that too much to ask?

I know there was a policy she was trying to stick to, but Becky was rude and short. I asked her if I could speak to someone else and she said no. I spend a lot of money with this company and was told I need to spend more or would get charged $150. I cannot eat carbs and sugar with my diet, and explained that to her- she said there was no such diet. After my “required order” I won’t ever purchase again or refer anyone as I did before. Very unhappy with my experience with her and the policy not to accommodate customers who have been loyal and paid a lot of money with this company on their products.

My wife tried it for a month and she was not happy with the results. She searched for ways to cancel for a month or so with no luck. She was only able to defer a second shipment... no other options. When we were watching tv tonight, they began advertising with a phone number to try and sign up new takers so she tried the phone number that was displayed and finally got to speak with a representative. The representative was not helpful, just kept offering alternative plans when my wife clearly explained that 1. It didn't work for her and 2. That we couldn't afford it. The representative kept insisting that we would be charged a $125 cancellation fee even after my wife explained our financial situation.
After much discussion, the representative said, "Ok, we will cancel" and provided a cancellation number. Within seconds, we received notification from our bank that our account was overdrawn... by the $125 cancellation fee that we had explained that we did not have. So I called back to try and reason with them and to gain some understanding about how you can charge someone for products or services they have not received and charge someone who has just told you they couldn't afford it. No one was willing to take responsibility to waive the fee even with the extenuating circumstances and the knowledge that the customer didn't have the means to pay. Very frustrating! I would not recommend this program to anyone. We tried to stop the 2nd month but they had a better idea of to sell us a higher plan that certainly didn't fit into our budget. There is no negotiating with them. Buyers, beware.

So this is a mixed review because the product itself works if you stay disciplined and count your calories. I lost 15 in a week because I was diligent. So I ordered the men's plan from the website that was like 40 percent off your order if you do autoship. Never was I told that if I cancel the autoship and try to delete my account that I would a accrue a 125.00 fee. Well the next month I didn't have the money to afford another autoship of food so I wanted to cancel. Was told at that point if I cancel I would get a 125 charge to my credit card but if I order 200.00 or more worth of product that fee would be waived when I decided to cancel. Needless to say I cancelled today. They didn't honor their word by not charging me the 125.00 and 125 was charged to my CC, So I filed a complaint with BBB.

Nutrisystem charged my credit card 3X for products that I did not order, receive or even know I was signed up for. They managed to get 3 charges on my card before I caught it. Apparently they know how to time it so they can get 3 charges down within weeks of each other... I caught 2 of the charges and the bank found another. I called Nutrisystem right away and was assured they would look into it- after forever on hold and no way to contact accounting- they just have a counselor take your complaint. I have contacted them 3 times... One time on hold close to an hour. They assured me they would look into it... Yeah, right. My CC company addressed it and Nutrisystem says it's a valid order and will not stop the billing process and claims that I owe them $972.00 and will not return or verify back to my CC that it is a bogus charge. They shipped orders to Ontario, Canada, Newark, Ohio, and also South Hutchinson, Kansas... And want ME to pay for it.
THREE different addresses and none to my address--so I had no way of knowing they were doing this. At present after wasting an hour on the phone again the DIET COUNSELOR (who BTW was very nice) can only submit my request to a higher up... No direct contact with fraud dept., so far no accounting as to how they got my CC numbers and WHY they will not return my money. Stone wall... What can I do? They sent products to addresses NOT associated with my CC or CC account... I was never at any of those addresses ever and can prove it and I know no one at those addresses. It would seem to me that NS KNOWS where they sent products and can verify that it was not me... So far stone wall. This started in January/Feb.

On February 25th 2018 I weighed 226 pounds and had a BMI of 38. After two months on Nutrisystem, I saw my doctor and weighed 196 pounds and my new BMI was 33! Today is May 13th, yesterday I took my measurements and had a total of 15 inches lost of various locations on my body. The scale read 188 pounds when I stood on it yesterday morning. I’m staying positive that on May 25th, the official 3 month mark, I’ll be at a 40 pound loss milestone. I cannot expression how grateful I am to be following the Uniquely Yours Plan on NutriSystem.
My advice: 1. Eat every 2-2.5 hours, if not a scheduled or planned meal / snack then eat a serving of veggies. 2. Drink 70 oz-100 oz of water throughout the entire day. 3. Average at least 10,000 steps each day. 4. Don’t stress, and adapt the eating schedule to your personal daily schedule. 5. Research and learn how the plan works in order to make better decisions when eating out & flexing your own meals. 6. Use the amazing assortments of PDF files and website articles that NutriSysyem provides. 7. Remember most importantly that everyone’s body is different, and will lose weight / inches differently. The more overweight you are from your healthy BMI will have to losing weight quicker than others to start.

They don't make it obvious that they are going to charge you 125$ just to cancel when no order is prepared. They automatically set you up for recurring orders. This is probably because the food you receive is tiny and looks nothing like the advertising. If you eat that small of portions of anything you would lose weight. Do the math on how much each meal costs before you buy. They make it super easy to order online but you have to call in to cancel. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on hold.

Oddly enough, this all began because I asked for replacement of two missing Turbo Shake Packets in your Classic Lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks meals kit. The packets were empty, looking as if never filled as they were not opened. During the course of finding the PUC and Lot # of your product, I also found out that the product was out of date according to your USE BY date. I asked if it was safe to still eat. I received a reply wherein I was told by your representative that Nutrisystem (hereinafter referred to as N/S) would ship me a replacement of seven Turbo Shake Packets which was way more than I asked for. I explained as much in my reply and asked once again...."Is the product safe to consume?" Now I am told N/S cannot replace the two packets and that the seven packet offer is rescinded and not to worry about the USE BY date.
So.....here is my offer: "Please replace entire order as it is now a full 10 days past it's "USE BY" date and I will not use it further nor eat any of it. The N/S "Classic" Lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks meal box contained five breakfast, five lunch and five dinner entrees plus five Turbo Shakes of which two (turbo shake packets) were empty. The N/S product described sells for right at 45-50 dollars (I apologize, I don't remember the price). Here are the PUC and lot code of your N/S product purchased: PUC Code: 6 32674 84 189 6... Lot code: 1N100417. The entire package was one day from being out of date when purchased and is now 10 days out of date. I am asking for a complete replacement of the N/S "Classic" five days of meal packets and fiveTurbo shakes. Thank you.

While eating a Nutrisystem chocolate cupcake, I bit into something hard but caught it before hurting myself or a tooth. Looks like a pebble half the size of a fingernail. See attached photos. What will Nutrisystem do to remedy this situation? After almost three years never had anything like this with your food. The response was to credit me a lousy $30, when I told them I thought that was a sad response, they tacked on another $20. I could had broken a tooth, it was 'that close' but I caught it. I did FedEx the object to Customer Service as requested, so imagine any leverage is gone.

When I received my order it was short two snack items. My wife always counts the number of pieces received VS ordered. She doesn't check what item it is. If she didn't do that I would never know it was short. Like I said in my returned e-mail send whatever you like to replace it. But I do enjoy the popcorn. But everything I receive taste GREAT.

The food is 3+ out of 5 for taste, 4 for variety and 2+ for quality. I lost my 25 lb goal within 3 months and it has stayed off (with minimal cheating.) Somewhat expensive though. As expected, foodies will cheat a bit but at least their clothes will fit.

The order of the Select 10 Sampler was disappointing. There were way too many duplicate products (we ordered 2 packages of the Select 10 and ended up with 10 turkey breakfast wraps!). There were no hamburgers, no chicken sandwiches, nothing that was advertised that seemed good. All of the lunches that were sent were only the pita wraps. Last, there was one small package of thawed dry ice so the food was no longer frozen. Sadly another shipment of 2 is arriving today and I crossing my fingers it will actually contain what was advertised. If most items were unavailable you would think a phone call would have been made to ensure that I still wanted the order to be placed. Very disappointed.

They mailed my order to the wrong address, billed me, then mailed a second order and billed me again, one day apart. Their computer system instantly sent out the delivery to wrong address when I updated my CC. If wouldn't let me update my new address first, so I entered my CC info, and BOOM, sent out a shipment, without any notice. The screen looked like the shipment was to go out the next day, and it did to the Correct address and a SECOND CHARGE. I have gotten the runaround from them. I've heard that your refund is being processed in 3 to 5 days, to complete denial of the double charge. And forget about calling the Help line, over an hour waiting and no one came on to help.

I was very frustrated with some of the spicy food. Some I cried all the time I ate it, but finally I tried to eat the Chipotle Beef and Broccoli Bowl and found that it was impossible. I was having trouble getting the website to work correctly to take some control of my orders. My auto-ship orders eventually put me way over on food needed. Having to use the phone & not the website to adjust my orders was awkward & initially not effective. All of my issues eventually got resolved. It just took several emails, phone calls, & chats. Hello, I called spoke with customer service rep regarding issue with allergic to blueberries and she sent out new bars that were without blueberries. Well spoken with excellent customer service. She then transferred me to Becky due to my sodium issues. She suggested counseling support rep would be best. I needed to make changes to next order. The ordering process is set up to automatically send you a second month of food without informing you until the first order is paid for. At that point you can't back out without incurring another $125 fee. If you don't recognize that auto-delivery setup, your credit card is automatically charged for the second month just before the delivery for that month goes out. It is truly a very sneaky way to commit you to a minimum of two months of food before you even know if you like it or if it will agree with your body. A very poor practice for a supposedly reputable company. I consider this a scam!!

I cannot believe the results in just five days. My blood sugars were over 280, blood pressure exceeded 160/95, and weight was climbing. With a doctors appointment coming up, I was afraid I would be on insulin shots soon. I was surprised to find Nutrisystem had a diabetic plan. I started this plan on May 1st, and today my blood sugar was 164, blood pressure 116/61 and I am down 9 pounds.
I am 70 years old, have a part time job which gives me plenty of exercise. Average daily steps the last five days was12,823 steps. NUTRISYSTEM SHOULD AVERTISE THE PLAN THAT I AM ON, TO ASSIST THE NUMEROUS TYPE 2 DIABETICS OUT THERE. So far I have not had a meal I did not like. The Italian Sausage and Turkey Pizza is a true winner for me. Looking forward to continued success!

I called in May 2 and asked the counselor to hold my order for two reasons, I had had neck surgery and was of the plan as I told the guy I talked to last time I called and delayed the order to May 12 or so, I would go online or call when I was ready, plus my big freezer broke. When I saw an email saying fix your order before it ships I went in and although the email was for the June shipment I saw that my order would ship the next day. I called immediately to stop it. The rude woman on the other end of the phone told me she couldn't stop it that it was shipped already, which it was not. It shipped the following day. I asked to speak to a manager over 5 times, she refused me that right a forest. She told me there were no managers there.
After the third time I said I want a call back by a manager she said they don't do that. I said there had to be a manager or supervisor there then she said they are too busy to talk to me. I have never been treated so RUDELY by a company in my life. I emailed Nutrisystem that night saying how unhappy I am and all they can do is give me a 30 dollar credit on my next order, while this order spoiled. Not to mention when I was away at recover therapy the order that wasn't approved in late March stay there and spoiled till I got home. All spoiled all 336. Dollars at my loss, now I'm taking another $330+ loss. Terrible. I'm disabled. Haven't worked since 2014. Have had 4 surgeries since and was trying to lose weight. I do not recommend this awful customer service based company. They are horrible. I am a very disappointed customer.

This is 2nd time I have used Nutrisystem. First time in 2016 went really well. No problems and lost 10 pounds. This go around, nothing seemed to go right. First ordered was so delayed and the frozen order came fully defrosted. Took two phone calls to customer service to resolve. They determined it was Federal Express's error. Box of frozen food took 5 days to delivery and so everything melted. Reorder of frozen resulted in large gap between first week of starting diet until 10 days of being able to start back up because of delay. Second month order was supposed to have been sent on April 27th.
By May 3rd, the order was not even full processed yet or shipped. Again, big problem. I had no food left from first order even when I followed diet exactly as pamphlet instructed. As a result, I cancelled second month and have decided not to use Nutrisystem again. Some of your customer service people are really nasty. When this happened, I ended the calls and called back to get a more pleasant rep. Twice this happened. First did not believe me about defrosted food until I sent pictures and the tracking information that showed the 7 day delay. Sorry, but this is not acceptable. Good luck with your program.

The lack of information sent with the initial order is disappointing. Calls to a NS counselor with a wait time of 25+ minutes is unacceptable. Online chats with a NS counselor with a wait time of 20+ minutes is unacceptable. I decided to try this plan to boost my body in to losing some weight for the summer, some 8 lbs or so. Let me tell you how horrible the food is. It's all pasta and thick sauces. Why make all this terrible dishes as a diet? They thicken the souses to make it more filling, why not just put a nice larger piece of chicken? But of course it's a lot cheaper this way, to put few oz of pasta and charge an arm and a leg for it. It taste like cardboard too. Pastries are good though. The bottom line is it's all horrible and tasteless. For $350 a month I can feed my entire family with good healthy meals.
Over the first week I did not lose a single lbs, in fact I've gained 2 lbs from all that crappy pasta, powdered cheeses and so on. And I have to pay for the shipping cost back? When product does not live up to the quality advertised shipping both ways is always free. Not like I ate this for 2 weeks and then requested my money back! 3 days was enough for me to realize that I can't stand this crap, that this artificial food makes me sick and I have stomach cramps. Your policy is not to poison people! I am not going to pay for shipping back.

I started using Nutrisystem Oct. 2017. The first order went very well. However, every order since has included opened product(s). I enjoy the flavor of nearly everything I have tasted; I'd say 85-90% taste very good. However, the order number I have included had several opened food items as well the dry ice was open. I had a fudge bar that was thawed (just 1 of 4 was thawed). I had other items, such as waffles, that were broken into several pieces. I have enjoyed Nutrisystem and has proven to be fairly successful with the Plan; however this latest order has caused me to question and postpone my next shipment until I can resolve to continue.

I have been on the plan for about 2.5 weeks now and so far it has been going well. I enjoy most of the foods, some more than others, and like that it is setting me up for long term success. The first week after turbo take off, I gave in to some cravings and ate a couple snacks that I should not have so I did not lose any weight that week. But I was determined to get back on track and not slip up again. Since then I have been losing steadily and I feel great! I am getting better at making my vegetable servings more interesting and experimenting with recipes. I also reached out to a counselor via email to ask about a specific food and how it would play into my flex meals and I got a quick response and she was so pleasant! I have successfully used Nutrisystem in the past. The quality of food continues to deteriorate. The sodium & chemical content is unsatisfactory. The food is unrecognizable in many cases. The cardboard lunch microwave options are horrible.

I tried for ages to contact these folks about cancelling an "automatic" order -- tried by phone, email, chat, etc. numerous times -- and was always told the "wait time was over 10 minutes, 8 minutes, etc. After staying on hold for 20-30 minutes or longer, I emailed... only to receive an email that my credit card on file would still be charged $125 for cancelling... despite these many attempts.
Forget about contacting them for any "counseling"... or for any reason, including cancellation! I think their food is little different than what you can get at your local grocery store (except much more expensive) -- same calories, amount of protein, etc. -- the program just relies on "regulated starvation" and discipline for those who wouldn't normally have this on their own. And then expect to be charged even more if you cancel! By my calculations the "system" cost me over $23 a day (including the fine print charges after the fact) and with proper discipline I can easily beat that at the local grocery store!

Cannot get in touch with anyone when calling the 877 number! I have been put on hold anywhere from 1/2 hour till I finally gave up every time I have called (4 times), except once when I got a coach and she was very helpful. Those initial calls were in reference to having waited 2 weeks for part of the first order. Then I called last night with a question about alternate ways to cook a frozen dinner because my microwave broke right before dinner. ONCE AGAIN after being on hold for 25 minutes, I finally gave up and hung up. When I used Nutrisystem in 2015 I don't remember encountering these problems. Nutrisystem should divert some of the enormous amount of money they are spending on advertising to the operations division so that customers like me don't consider leaving the program after only one order! I would never recommend your company to friends now like I did in 2015.

I am 71 years old and I am responsible for the welfare of my son and grandson. My son was hurt at work and his mobility was compromised and he gained quite a bit of weight...so I ordered Nutrisystem online. Come to find out if you accept their discount offers you automatically become a reoccurring customer. Well this morning I looked at my account and they took out $414.91...which I did not have in there. It over-drafted my account by quite a bit. My rent will not be covered on the first of May due to this. My son did not like the food at all...so I would not have reorder anything.
After talking to 3 different people at Nutrisystem and then finally getting transferred to customer service...they agreed to refund my account $233.97 and they are charging me the early withdraw fee and shipping and handling. The order was already shipped so I couldn't stop it. They did say I didn't have to ship it back from Alaska...I feel this is a scam from what is suppose to be a good company. A very bad experience. Will advise everyone and anyone do not do business with this company.

I've begged to get help on why I'm not losing weight. I'm doing everything correctly and when I talk to a counselor, that can't tell me anything I'm not already doing. I tried sending an email and almost a week later, I get one not addressing what my concern was about. I could clearly tell they did not read my email. I haven't received the correct shipments including the restaurant tracker. I've asked twice for it and still have not received it either.
The counselor I had talked to me told me I HAD received it. Like I was a lying about it. When addressing me only losing 7 pounds, she told me that the average was 5. Clearly if you view the Nutrisystem website, it says the turbo 15 average weight loss is 11.7 pounds. My first week I did the turbo kickoff with a kit I purchased at Walmart that included the food and shakes. So who is lying? The first time I tried Nutrisystem two years ago, I thought it was great. That's why I've been let down over and over again this trail. This is extremely expensive and it's way too much money to waste to not work. I've taken this program extremely serious. What's left to do?

I initially purchased Nutrisystem for men with the goal of losing 25 pounds and using it for 1 month to kickstart my good eating habits. I even did a follow-up order of $100 for some additional a la carte frozen food that I liked. When you order this system please note that you are signing up for an automatic 2 months worth of food at over $400 per month... I did not know this until I received an email stating my credit card was going to be charged $442.42 for my next delivery of "Uniquely Yours Plan". Nowhere in the sales literature is this published by Nutrisystem. However, there is a box to uncheck in the terms of the agreement that is 3 pages into your order! It automatically defaults to the auto-delivery option on the website so you will miss this if you do not read the "Terms Of Agreement".
I called customer service to let them know that I was going to continue ordering the frozen meals but was going to do this through the "a la carte menu where I could pick and choose what I would be getting. I also told them I had already done so and did not need the $442.00 "Uniquely Yours Plan" as there was too much that I just did not like and wanted to cancel my order. I was on the phone with 2 different so-called customer service agents for 48 minutes as I was transferred and put on hold multiple times! I was told by both that if I cancel my order I would be charged a $125 cancellation fee. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told after being on hold for 18 minutes that there were no supervisors available to speak with.
I then posed the question to the service rep... "So I was going to order more a la carte menu items, refer co-workers, friends and family and now you are going to lose all this plus I am also going to blast you on all the social media outlets! FOR $125???" His response was yes!! I told him, "FINE then our conversation is over!" I find this amazing that a million dollar company such as Nutrisystem probably is would allow this to happen for a $125 cancellation fee! Now you have completely lost ANY MORE of my business, referrals, ETC! I would have easily continued to spend more than that in a la carte items but no more! A simple Google search of this practice and you will see how common of a complaint that this is! Steer clear of this company ladies and gentlemen, they are not concerned with your well being, but their wallets.

I was a happy Nutrisystem customer; enjoying the food and losing weight slowly. When I hadn't received my 3rd auto ship order I checked the tracking information to find out it had been damaged in transit and returned to the warehouse the day after it had been sent. However, I was never notified of the situation and no replacement had been shipped. I called the 800 number and stayed on hold for 22 minutes. I hung up and started a chat session. The clerk assisted me and told me they'd reship my order and I'd receive it in 4-10 days. I asked for expedited shipping as I was running low on food and it was not my fault that my order was damaged and the proper remedies weren’t taken. The clerk couldn't expedite it but gave me the customer service number.
I called customer service and was told very bluntly that they don't expedite orders. I'm sorry but when I'm paying over $300 per shipment I think the least this company can do is support their customers and actually CARE about their success and pay the extra $15 for expedited shipping. After all, if the shipment had been repackaged and sent out as soon as they received it back, I would have had my order with only a minor delay. Another company that cares only about the almighty dollar and not about the customers that make their existence possible. There are other weight loss programs out there and you can bet I'll be switching. I know Nutrisystem won't care but they lost 3 customers: me, my husband and my father-in-law. Good riddance.

Was shocked when I checked my bank and $351 was being deducted from my checking account. I immediately called Nutrisystem the following day. And in my panic I asked the agent to cancel my order. The agent said he could only cancel the frozen food and the first shipment had already shipped. No mention that I would incur a $125 return fee. A few days later as I am chatting online about returning the first shipment the agent explains the return protocol. I could have followed said protocol to avoid incurring this loss. Very disappointed. $125 X How many people? = $$$? Because agents aren't fully informing customers.

After not being able to find on your website a way to cancel my auto delivery, I sent an email. The reply was to call an 800 number, which I did. The auto response stated the wait time would be over 2 minutes. After hearing your music for over 20 minutes, without any update on wait time remaining, I hung up. I would like to cancel auto delivery, but do not believe I should be subjected to such an obvious attempt at making it extremely difficult to stop shipments. I have ordered your plan before and do not remember such difficulties.

While I was disappointed about not being clearly informed I was being placed in a recurrent payment plan if I took the special offer, and didn't have a good experience with customer service when I tried to cancel because the phone was making sick, I had an excellent experience after I came to Consumer Affairs. Someone was assigned to follow my case, and did so in a very professional manner until it was fully resolved. They made arrangements for me to return the food and refunded all the money. I truly appreciate it this attitude. I will change my star rating to reflect the way in which they resolve the issues.

I ordered a one time 30 day supply but got automatically enrolled in an auto shipping program. The information is hidden in the terms and conditions. If you want to cancel, you will learn that you have to pay them $125 because they say they need to take back what they originally present as a "discount" (which is how they captured my attention).
I was not feeling well eating the food they sent, so I called to cancel. When they asked me why I said I didn't like the food. The response was a very arrogant question: "How could you possibly know you don't like the food if you just got it!". I had been eating it for four days by the time I called. I told him how could he possibly assume I would say I didn't like the food without trying it? He again treated me like an idiot saying I only had it for four days. He then got impatient and finished the conversation in a few seconds in a very unprofessional manner. Overall, I feel I was misled with the marketing announcements and mistreated when I called.

I tried several times to cancel my auto delivery. Auto told me 5 and then 10 minute wait and with a cellphone, this ran up my minutes. Finally connected with Robert today 4/22, told him I wanted to cancel because the food tasted old and tinny and he kept trying to override me. Said he would charge me over $100 cancellation fee. I will not pay and will cancel that credit card fee. The program was expensive, the food tasted horrible, your reps were rude (when you could get a hold of one) and I will never order from Nutrisystem again!

Nutrisystem email out discount offers, and when logging into your account you will get pop up discount offers. Problem with is, they will not honor the offer. The same thing happens on their app. Constantly getting offers, but clicking the link to redeem leads to 5 more links, and in the end... You get nothing. Disappointed by their customer service, confirms that this is definitely a SCAM. All they give you is a BIG runaround and 800 numbers that lead you nowhere.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! I ordered this product, and I was not able to connect with the "tracking system"...and, when I finally spoke to someone, they said "it would be delivered before 4/12/18" (the day I left town for 5 days)...and, it was delivered on Friday, the day I am not in my office for the weekend. Needless to say, when I found it on Monday, it was all spoiled. WHAT A WASTE!!! I mailed it back and was told "no refunds". BAD COMPANY!!!

I have been having good success with the food so far, most are very good. However, I was sent a couple items I cannot eat due to dietary reasons. They are being replaced without charge and working with Nutrisystem has been a pleasure so far.

I am a first time customer with Nutrisystem. I was very excited to get my first order however I soon found that unbeknownst to me I had signed up for auto delivery. Auto delivery is a Fancy term for the food and the billing continues and it’s nearly impossible to cancel it with a $125 penalty. I haven’t even started my first month and cannot get them to cancel my account. I also can’t get anyone on the phone to discuss this with me!!

On April 11, I opened a sealed Double Chocolate Breakfast Muffin and there was a bug in the package. I do not have a picture of the bug and no longer have the infested food. I threw both away. You can replace with a frozen breakfast sandwich (bacon).

My husband and I both bought uniquely yours! When we opened our box it did not have any guides as stated and when we called a counselor she said we were on a maintenance plan! We did not buy this plan.

Buyer beware! I would give them negative stars if I could. This used to be a reputable company; no longer! It used to be a low carbohydrate high fiber diet; I'm not sure what the crappy foods is any longer. Not only does it taste horrible, but it has poor ingredients. I'm a registered nurse and was quite disappointed when reading their food labels. The only things that were adequate were the Turbo shakes and the curb bars. But my complaint is that I tried to cancel it after the first shipment. I was on the phone for 40 minutes with some salesman who would not cancel my order. He finally told me that I would have to pay $180 to cancel. Really? Apparently, that was in the fine print. So, I ended up cancelling my debit card and getting a new one. They have tried to bill me ever since. Ha! Jokes on you, Nutrisystem! You would do much better in being a reputable company. You will fail in the long run and I am waiting for that inevitable day. Shame on you.

I had an issue with my order and it was solved completely through Twitter DMs. I was accidentally sent entrees with meat in them even though I ordered the vegetarian plan through QVC and the Nutrisystem team went above and beyond to make it right. I am so beyond impressed!!

Deceptive billing practices! I ordered what I thought was a one time 30 day supply ($300+) only to find out that you get automatically enrolled in an auto shipping program. Apparently this information is hidden in the terms and conditions. When I called up to cancel the autoship I was told they would be happy to cancel the next order but that I would be charged $125 to cancel the plan since I had gotten my initial order at the bargain price of 300+ dollars!!! Save your money. The food is not that good.

I spoke with someone by email Beth ** and on chat. They said I need to call and confirm the cancel verbally. I tried to do that and was transferred twice and was asked for a call back number. I have to say I like Nutrisystem but my weight isn't coming off. I have been told I am insulin resistant by a doctor. This could be the reason why I am not losing weight. I spoke with a diet counselor this morning and she was very informative about what I should try. I have neglected eating smart carbs in the afternoon, so I am going to try and see if that helps. I am willing to try anything because I want to succeed in my weight loss and my start to good eating habits.

First let me start by saying Nutrisystem does work. I am a police officer on Cape Cod and watched some pretty fat cops lose some serious weight. I looked into Nutrisystem and would later be contacted by one of your reps. He gave me a great deal on a uniquely yours 2 month program. My 1st month of food arrived. Before the 14 days I called to say it wasn’t for me. I just can’t exist on this small amount of food. I tried. My cancelation phone call didn’t go so good. While talking to your rep my phone buzzed. It was a buzz from credit card saying, "You have just been charged $125.00." Meanwhile your rep was explaining to me that early cancelation cost 125.00. Funny nobody told me that. Nobody told me I was locked into anything. In fact I was told I could cancel anytime.
While speaking with your rep I started doing some math in my head. I have not been on this diet for 14 days. I protested and was put on hold. Moments later was told I was correct. Guess I’m receiving a return label. Once you get the dry goods I will be credited. Nutrisystem never told me about any early cancelation fee. Their apology to me that "WE'RE SORRY YOU WERE UNAWARE OF FEE" is unlawful. No worries for me. My credit card protects me from fraud.

Ordered 2 month in time. Called after it was late. Told my food was returned damaged. No auto reship. No call from your company to apologize for issue and make it right. A WEEK LATER I still do not have my food. Ran out days ago. No calls from supervisors despite several calls, emails and chats. Completely unprofessional especially after taking my $300!!!

I did not understand how the three week free Nutrisystem coupon worked. I recently cancelled Nutrisystem to take place after the current shipment which just shipped because in a few weeks I am going to be out of town for a few months and I could not continue the program. I had great success the first time, the second time, I lost 5 pounds. Then just kind of got stuck. I could not stay on Nutrisystem forever. I guess I’m trying to say it works great, if you can stay on the program. I could not afford to stay on it.

Don't be fooled like I was by the commercials. You pay for a 28 day meal plan, but they only give you food for 24 days!!! Portions are small. I am 5'4" and weigh 145. I want to lose 15 lbs and I will because I am starving.

It has been wonderful week and I have lost 10 lbs. This is very exciting. Although the portions seem small, with the addition of the vegetables, and spacing out my food intake, I am eating more than enough food. Obviously, portion control and eating the right kind of nutrients was and is my problem. I have not felt hungry at all. Some of the food does not taste as good since it is pre-packaged but it is doing its job. My least favorite lunch is the Kung Pao spicy noodles and my least favorite snack is the honey mustard pretzels. I have been pretty happy with everything else. I've also enjoyed the turbo chocolate shake mix and nutricurb peanut butter chocolate bar. Both have really helped me to curb my hunger pains. Thank you.

Started Nutrisystem in March and have had nice results so far. I'm wearing jeans I haven't worn in years. Customer Service is outstanding the couple times I have called. All the food, with the exception of 2 items, have been very palatable and yummy! I see negative reviews for the cancellation policy and the fact is... you should be reading EVERYTHING before agreeing to ANYTHING! It's only common sense. I won't be cancelling anytime soon as I am thoroughly enjoying the convenience of the program as well as the results I am seeing! Kudos Nutrisystem!!!

I would like to say that the Nutrisystem program is absolutely wonderful. I wasn't able to exercise after breaking my leg, and I gained 13 lb. I did not know how I was going to lose it so I gave Nutrisystem a try. I have had the best experience ever with Nutrisystem and the counselors. I kept hitting plateaus because I wasn't exercising, but the counselors kept encouraging me. The food was delicious! I will continue on the success program to maintain my weight. I want to thank everyone at Nutrisystem for all of their help guidance and support. No matter how many times I called in, the counselors were great! Today, I met my goal! I could not be more elated. The program is so great that I lost this weight without being able to exercise. It is also taught me to eat much healthier than I have ever done in my life!

Dishonest company. If you cancel before your second or third expensive ($450) shipment, they charge you all the money you saved on the first shipment. Also, the money back guarantee is only good if you return it within 14 days and send all the products back. Not practical. Food is terrible and there’s not nearly enough to function properly. Cancelling is a nightmare as you have to talk to a pushy salesman. I would not recommend Nutrisystem.

I signed up for one month. Lost 10lbs. I am very happy that I had the weight loss. I was charged for a second shipment and when I called to stop the delivery and ensure I was canceled from the program I was charged another large fee. I understand there is small print but when you go through the small print ensure you can read it. Their system is very overwhelming and not easy to get to all the small print. I have been trying to resolve this issue and requested a supervisor. After being transferred twice I was told a supervisor would call me. It’s been three days and have not heard from one but they ensured to charge my account again.

We are enjoying the ease of having pre-packaged foods that each of us can choose to our individual tastes, are losing weight, and are re-calibrating what healthy portion sizes are compared to what we have ‘learned’ to expect over years of family dinners and fast food marketing.

Ordering via telephone was long and drawn out. I was told that I would be called back in two minutes to speak to the 'nutrition' counselor (because I have hypertension) and did not receive a call in 30 minutes, so I called back, spoke to someone else who took my order and said I did not have to speak to the 'nutrition' counselor. I then received a message stating that my order had been cancelled because I did indeed have to speak to a counselor before ordering. The sales rep was courteous, but somewhat stuck on selling me a certain plan (the full 30 month with automatic 2nd month or penalty) such that it took quite a bit of time to understand what my options really were.
Finally ordered and he gave us a week's worth of shakes for the 'troubles' (no shaker)--was a nice gesture, but frankly, given what occurred, I expected more. Told me quickly how it was supposed to work--well, that we'd eat our own meals on the weekends. When I received the food there was no sample meal plan as stated there would be online. There was a "success" booklet, but that is not what we were doing or had discussed with the salesman. I called to inquire and finally, via email, I received the sample meal plan with instructions/guidance about how the program is supposed to work for me and my husband.
The food so far has actually exceeded our expectations except for a couple of breakfast bars and snacks. I can feel/tell already a change in what I recognize as a portion--smaller than I had grown (pun intended) to expect and eat. So, we got off to a disappointing start (feeling pressured to buy something I didn't want or need rather than fitting the program to what best suited me, ordering/not ordering, wrong information, no information), but so far so good--am enjoying the portioned, easily made meals. Hoping for success.

This was the dumbest thing ever. I had to call and got a woman who wouldn’t let me cancel because I “had an active account”. I don’t know what that means but I want the food to stop coming; no one eats it. This was frustrating and an email should have sufficed. I don’t understand why I had to give “verbal confirmation” that I wanted to cancel.

I was a new customer to Nutrisystem. When my first delivery arrived there was no instructions, no welcome to Nutrisystem and no shakes as previously promised. I was very disappointed and emailed Nutrisystem my concerns. I was very pleased when I heard from them very quickly. They apologized for the errors and gave me a gift certificate and shakes which should arrive with the next delivery. They also emailed me the going out booklet which had been previously promised. So I am very pleased with Nutrisystem's customer service.

The message system Nutrisystem is using is very poor. This crackling and on the line and it's very unclear at times. When I press number 3 that they said was Diet counseling I got cancellation. This should be addressed as soon as possible. I'm disappointed. Also I did not received the paperwork in my order that I should have received. I had to call Nutrisystem to ask what I should do for the very first day tomorrow. I'm a new customer and I don't feel that I've been treated very well.

I want to thank Nutrisystem for helping me make healthy changes to my order. I am diabetic and originally ordered things not knowing they were not all diabetic friendly, so when I contacted them about making the changes I needed. I spoke with a customer service rep who was originally not that helpful, but she passed me on to another person who was very, very helpful. I wanted to put in a good word on her behalf, but she was also very humble and just said she was glad to help. Nutrisystem should find this lady and give her a higher pay grade, she's awesome! I was having a problem finding my order on what I thought was a new account I had opened with Nutrisystem. I received info my order was confirmed and then received notification when the non-frozen shipped. However I was never able to sign on and find that I'd even ordered much less been able to track the order. After a couple of emails and then 2 to customer service, Kelly sent me an email that had me sign on with a new PW and with that I found my account and all the info I needed. Thank you so much for your help as I was becoming discouraged and ready to cancel the whole account. I love Nutrisystem and have been on it off and on for a number of years and always come back.

I am always confused by the Nutrisystem's website. I'm getting the hang of it. But for my next delivery I ordered a la carte. And did not realize that I still needed to meet $75 for the free shipping. I thought it went automatically for free on my auto delivery. And for my next delivery. Kristen help me understand what I needed to do and gave me some great tips. Thank you Kristen.

I looked at many programs, I liked that this had a no contract plan so I purchased 30 days worth of food. Some of the food was good, but I had decided not to order another 30 days of food so I was pretty shocked when packages showed up at my house. I called to find out why and I was told that I signed up for the subscription, which I didn't and asked that they take the food back immediately. They told me I was stuck with the frozen food and in order to return the dry food I would be charged a $125.00 fee. I felt like I was scammed with no options, nobody would help me or explain to me how this could have happened. I will NEVER use them again, beware.
