I accidentally threw my husband’s Nutrisystem tracker booklet away, so I contacted Nutrisystem to see if they would email one to me, and they did so very promptly. Thank you for your help! I’ve always had positive experiences when contacting anyone in your organization.

I tried this program because of the Money Back Guarantee. Figured if I did not like it I could cancel which is what their website states. 'Money Back Guarantee If you’re not satisfied with your first order, call 1-800-727-8046 within the first 14 days and send the remaining food back for a full refund, less shipping. Good on new 4-week plans, first order only. Limit one per customer.'
After receiving my full order I started the program and did not care for it at all. The Food was not to my liking and I received items that I did not order. I tried it for the 14 days and tried to cancel as per their Money Back Guarantee Policy. But I was told that the 14 days does not start from the date I start using the food but from the date I receive it by mail. I did not start the plan until the Monday following the 2nd delivery of frozen items as I had an event that weekend and wanted to give it my full effort.
On the 13th day I called customer service to cancel based on the Money Back Guarantee. It was within the 14 days from starting and trying the food. I was told that I needed to call within 14 days from when the food was delivered. I then explained that I did not start eating the food until the Monday after the 2nd delivery (Frozen Items) was received. After calling and talking to 2 different Customer Service reps I was given 2 choices, either order more food or pay a $125 cancellation fee. I asked why would I order food if I was not going to eat it? I am so upset and feel completely taken advantage of. I believe that their written Money Back Guarantee on the website is misleading. If their policy is actually '14 days after the food is received' then they should state that clearly on their website. NOT HAPPY!

I am on Nutrisystem and have lost weight. A friend of mine was on the program and quit, leaving me a large supply of product. Tried to postpone my next shipment online but was only able to choose postponement for a couple of weeks. I wanted to postpone for more than a month. The choices were there but it does not allow you to choose them. I had to call and wait online too long to talk to someone who could postpone for a month or more. They purposely do this so you have to call a counselor in order for them to try to keep you on the system and to keep buying their product.

I had a positive experience with Nutrisystem a few years ago and decided to go back. What a terrible mistake. Customer service is embarrassing. I will never buy or recommend them ever again. The auto-delivery is a disaster. Calling their phone numbers is a nightmare. Chat is run by people who can’t help you whatsoever.

Called to cancel my order. Horrible customer service the guy was so rude! I only had it for a week now and he said I cannot cancel. I have to do another month of auto delivery. Yet, the website says if you cancel your auto delivery before the 14 days you will get a refund. He asked what made me think I would get a refund and told me to go to their website and he’ll wait while I look because he said he was right. The website again said I CAN cancel before the 14 day auto delivery. He was not accepting that and would not cancel. So now I’m stuck with this gross food!

They auto ship with no notice then you are stuck with the food. No email notice or call. Very deceptive marketing. When I called Customer Service, Stefan was not helpful, disrespectful and a poor representative of the company. But he probably was following protocol of this fraudulent company. There are plenty of better companies to use to lose weight. Dawn Zier the CEO either doesn’t know what’s going on or doesn’t care.

I ordered Nutrisystem by phone. Asked all my questions. I even asked if I could cancel at any time if it wasn’t for me. The lady reassured me that at any time I could cancel with no penalties and said quote “you're really not out anything.” I was not a fan of the program and ended up calling to cancel. Now! They won’t let me cancel! They say I have an obligation to keep paying and absolutely refuse to let me cancel! It’s not like I’m asking for my money back. I just don’t want to use this program anymore.
When I signed up the lady didn’t mention anything to me about obligations and that I could cancel at any time. I’m not asking for a refund. I just don’t want to use this program anymore. They just want money. I wish I could give you guys zero stars because your customer service is horrible! And lying to customers just to sell your product! I refuse to pay another dime with this program considering I was told I could cancel at any time! I explained this to a rep and they didn’t even apologize at all just said that “I have to pay.” Will never recommend this to ANYONE.

Ads very misleading--only lost 3 lbs first week nothing after that. Dinners were disgusting. Called second week not satisfied and offered to spend more money for different foods. Money back guarantee is a joke. You have that covered well. I didn't get rid of "belly bloat." Only uncontrollable gas and stomach pains. Then to cancel after one month fee of $125 which is outrageous. Why isn't that mentioned in your ads?

See the pictures. This is my second letter explaining you sent me rotten food. I think I ate one that was bad, it was not as obvious as this one, but looked different than previous shipment. No one asked if I was OK, or about a refund. Don't know how you are OK with sending rotten food, and not even worried about the customer. Just was told you have stringent quality control- not this time.

I really like Nutrisystem. It has worked well for me. I am struggling now because I am disorganized and distracted. I know there is an element of counseling available on line but I find a weekly meeting holds me more accountable. I don't feel that the fault lies in the plan. It offers variety, group support and different plan options. Eventually, I quit and when I regain the weight, I come back. Among suggestions I would make include: cooked, crumbled ground beef ( for recipes), extra veggies to bulk up skimpy dishes and your own line of low calorie salad dressings.

NutriSystem did an excellent job in taking care of my problem. I purchased a 4 pack of muffin at WalMart and there were only 3 in the box. They sent me 5 replacements, apologized and asked me several times if there was anything else they could do. They went above and beyond my expectations. I live 45 minutes away from WalMart where they said I could return them and when I told them that they immediately said they would mail out replacements. I definitely appreciate their help.

I bought a box of Nutrisystem double chocolate muffins from WalMart and the box only had 3 in it. I doubt I still have the receipt for it but even if I returned it WalMart will throw them away. I was told to call Nutrisystem for replacement but when I call they tell me to write Consumer Questions. I guess I just overpaid for the muffins this time.

My third time ordering. Never had the experience that I encountered this time. Called to place an order, completed my selections, paid and awaited delivery. Dry food came within three days however frozen food took 11 days. Did not order enough dry dinners to cover the 11 day wait time. This has never happened before and when I contacted Nutrisystem all I got was the runaround. Finally spoke with a concerned individual who took care of this. Still waiting on the first week turbo boost package and a second shipment of 16 frozen meals. For all this was only compensated $50.00 on my next order. Customer service nothing like it used to be.

The chocolate pretzels and the pretzel bar came melted. Additionally, I don't understand why it takes so long for the food to arrive. I just ordered a week to see how I liked the food but when it takes so long to get the food I can't really wait to see if I like the food before ordering again.

Should be rated minus stars. Not even deserving of one! I, too, was duped by the auto sign up. I did NOT choose it as it was clearly checked automatically and I did NOT realize it. I need to lose more weight but am bored with the menu items. I can't eat anything spice and will not eat anything with blue cheese as the ingredient such as the loaded potato and mac and cheese. Any new items come and go without getting any of them. Please add new meat and potato type items. The meats all taste the same. The pasta all tastes the same.

I love Nutrisystem and have been a big fan for years. My only issue is that I have to order from the states now and pay American prices. :( Otherwise, I'm happy with their service. They help me out, especially being an automatic reorder customer. I've been on plan for a month and lost 12 lbs. It may be slow for some but it suits me just fine. I feel the slower it comes off, the longer it takes to put it on. :) Keep up with the great customer service and thank you for being there for me when I've needed you.

Please consider my plan terminated. I will attempt to call but I expect the next order along with future orders to be canceled. Many of the food options are inedible. I have a freezer full of foods that had little flavor and many that were watery and tasteless.

My order arrived unfrozen and ruined. There were also items missing from my first week package. I'm now going to have to call to see if they will replace the missing items. The good part is that they are going to replace the frozen items. The bad part is that I now have to contact them yet again about the turbo takeoff items. The first time I called to tell them that my frozen items were ruined, I had to stay on hold for 30 min to talk to someone. No one answered. I then phoned again and stayed on hold for 30 min the second time and gave up. Finally, the third time I called, I got someone, but I had to stay on hold for 30 min again. Thus, I was on hold for a total of one and a half hours!

I called on 10/14/2018 to order the Uniquely Yours plan including 28 Nutri-Pro shakes and 7 NutriCurb bars and 7 extra shakes. On 10/18/2018 I received the dry portion of my order. I have not received my frozen order. It’s been five days. I only have two dry dinners with that order. I just got an email stating the rest of my order will be delivered within 14 days. This is unacceptable! The last time I ordered I got all food within 3 days. I did not receive a shaker bottle, NutriCurb bars or instructions for the first week. If I don’t receive my full order by Wednesday Oct. 24 I will be forced to discontinue and send the remainder back. Very disappointed. Spoke to a counselor on 10/18 and she advised my order was ready but not assigned a shipping number. That was a lie and incompetent. I will not reorder again! I would like management to call me.

Well to give an update on my last review where I detailed receiving a shipment of food that had roaches inside the box and then the horrible customer care call afterwards. I did get an answer from someone at Nutrisystem that they would be reaching out to me soon. I got tired of waiting for the promised "reach out" after several days and called Nutrisystem's customer care to report the incident. The person who took my call didn't seem surprised that I received a box of roaches and seemed to be reading me a script about it. She told me that she would send out a new box within 4-10 days. She didn't apologize about the wait time or offer anything to compensate me. I haven't heard anything back from them as of yet. I guess the "reach out" is just imaginary.
Original review: I received my last order in order in a smaller box than they normally come in. I was somewhat surprised but figured that the order had smaller items than my last orders. When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was cheese dust everywhere. One of the 4 cheese lunches was open. The next thing I noticed was their bunches of small roaches running around inside of the box. I couldn't believe this. Disgusted, I hurried the box out to the trash to avoid the roaches getting out. I called Nutrisystems and a rep who said his name was Dewey ** refused to let me speak to a supervisor and acted snotty and condescending. He said his supervisor wasn't there. I asked when the supervisor left and he said "I have no idea." I did become cross with him and his response was to transfer me to customer care with a looong wait. I'm still waiting as I write this. I took a video of the roaches for YouTube.

I called in and used the very convenient feature where you can request a callback... My rep’s name was Tyrone. I had a lot of questions and was seeking advice/counseling to ensure I was completing the program correctly as a first timer. He was terrific! Through discussion we found out we were in the same age group. He was open about sharing his personal journey on the program and walked me through step by step on all my inquiries. Yahoo, lost 8 lbs in 5 days (had 2 lost days on Turbo Takeoff, my bad and although I was careful I had no additional loss, but did maintain the 8 lb loss). Started on the regular program on Monday and on Tuesday morning weigh in, lost another lb! I have had to call Customer service 2 consecutive days to clarify some things on the regular program and they have been absolutely delightful and so very helpful? I'm so glad I am doing this program, although I have a long way to go, I have a new confidence in my ability to be successful after speaking with the representatives. You guys and gals are AWESOME! Thank you so very much for all your help and motivation! Also the NuMi app is such a good resource not only for info, but for keeping on track!

Ordered Nutrisystem Uniquely Yours Plan for the 4 week plan price of $349.99 with free shipping based on the information provided by Nutrisystem on their webpage. The plan is advertised as an 18 pound weight loss for men in one month. I only needed to lose 15 pounds so I believed what Nutrisystem wrote and purchased the program.
After losing 12 pounds in just under three weeks, I received an email from Nutrisystem stating that my next month's automatic $349.99 shipment was being shipped. I told them I didn't need it since I was reaching my goal but they said it was part of my agreement with them and I would need to pay a $125 cancellation fee. There is no mention whatsoever of this fee except buried deep within the endless text of the "agree" page that you must click to proceed. So congratulation Nutrisystem. What you did is totally legal and totally sneaky and dishonest as well. You got my $125. And I got the satisfaction of helping my brother, two co-workers and one chubby neighbor become happy Medifast customers.

I was excited to check out the recipes in "The Leaf" to add more variety to my flex meals and snacks. Unfortunately I quickly discovered that about half of the recipes don't have the calories per serving listed. This would make it very hard to incorporate into my day since I would not be able log the calories in the Numi app. Overall I am very happy with the plan but it's frustrating when I'm trying to use recipes Nutrisystem is publishing but can't because they are incomplete. It seems to me that any recipe published through your system should have a calorie per serving listed.

Too much dehydrated food. Too many substitutions of dehydrated foods for non-refrigerated foods due to low inventory. Non-refrigerated foods had poor texture and flavor. Separated shipping of frozen and shelf items caused disruption of my daily planning. After placing my order (to arrive within 10 days ) I was called away on family business for 3 days. Shelf food arrived but I was unable to disrupt the frozen delivery. Unable to narrow down delivery date. Arrived while I was away. Too much inconvenience to do this monthly. Many dehydrated and non refrigerated items had too many artificial ingredients that did not agree with my stomach, causing abdominal discomfort

I have used Nutrisystem multiple times for myself and my daughter. My experience the past few months has been the worst I have ever experienced in all the years I've used Nutrisystem. Not only did I have a terrible experience with them. I referred a friend who refused to purchase a second month with them because of how terrible their customer service was. They charged my account two times, when I had delayed the order. I was on hold an hour trying to speak to a customer service rep, someone picked the lineup and then line ended. I called back and waited on hold for 45 more minutes. A customer rep answered and told me that I had the wrong dept, even though their automated system prompted me to that line.
Once I finally got thru to someone, they treated me terrible. Did not even apologize for my wait or even seem to care. They did not take responsibility for withdrawing money out of my account. After asking to speak to a manager, I was told the money would be back in my account within 3-5 days. I called on day 7 of the money still not being in my account and was told it would take 7-14 days. Again no apology. Nothing... Just another extremely rude "Customer Service." Then on Sept 28th at 11 pm at night I saw another $357 withdrawn from my account, I had the week prior asked them to delay for a month.
I called at 9 am the very next morning of 9.29.18, waited again on hold for another 30 mins and was told the items had already shipped and I would have to wait until the items arrived to my house, and then ship back to them and then would not again receive the money back in my account from the time the items arrived in their warehouse for 7-14 business days. Again was talked very terrible to. In fact the lady talked to me like I was an idiot, asking if I delayed the order by the automated email they send out.
Never once apologized, taking no responsibility. Never once tried to accommodate or even offer anything for my inconvenience. She told me she was canceling and refunding the frozen portion of my order. I called a week later spoke to another female, she told me the previous rep. canceled the order but never sent in for the refund. SOOO I have a canceled order I paid for, and no refund issued back! Pushing me out another week to even hope for the money to be refunded to my account. The dry food arrives a week past the date the lady said it would arrive. I was advised to call, to find out the steps to return the item. Waited 29 minutes on hold. She proceeds to tell me she will give me the return info for me to pay FedEx to return the items they sent without permission.
I NOW had to pay more money to return the items I never authorized for them to send. I spoke with the customer service rep. She told me they could send me a shipping label but it would cost me $19.99. So I would have to pay $20 to ship $69 worth of food to be credited $49 back to my account... again that I never authorized! After asking to speak to a manager, that I would absolutely not be paying another dime for their failure. (Pissed off to no end at this point.) She then tried to argue with me about whose fault it was. Because not ONE rep from any of my hour long attempts, hold, etc noted my account... no notes! No proof they screwed me over.
She then after very hostile conversation with her let me know they would waive the shipping label fee... like she was doing me a favor! Unreal. 6 1/2 hours later, after I got off work and went to go print this shipping label, no shipping label in any email folder! Checked them all! Sooo I waited on hold another 33 minutes to finally speak to a semi descent customer rep, who was able to email the shipping label within seconds of hanging up with her. It is very unfortunate how terrible the people that they have representing their company are. But this was more than one person that treated me like I was inconveniencing them. That is the culture this company shows clearly allowed and let their employees think was ok. My daughter did have great success with this plan, but I will absolutely never NEVER deal with this company again. If there was a section to not select a star, I would have not selected anything.

When you log in journal under a category such as BREAKFAST, then you select food, then you have to select "Breakfast" AGAIN. On the original page, once a meal/snack is select one should NOT have to re-select to have food placed correctly. 2. The snack names should be morning or AM snack; afternoon snack; and evening or PM snack. Thank You for listening. I wish I could chat with an IT person directly. Food is tasteless. Sure you will lose weight if you want to be constantly dizzy and have a perpetual migraine. Decided that the processed foods was not for me. Tried to cancel online... no go. You have to call by phone to cancel. Then comes the hard sell. Lady is pleasant until she realizes that you are adamant about canceling. And even though the food does not agree with you. You have to order a second round of food that you cannot and should not feed a dog. Word of advice --- cancel your card on file with your BANK or they will continue to charge you. I will be letting everyone that I know co-workers and family and starters not to use this company ever!

I am pretty discouraged by the service I received from Nutrisystem today. I got a notification that my 2nd box would ship within the next 4 days so that prompted me to call right away and cancel. But because I did not cancel after receiving my first box within 14 days I got a $125 cancellation fee. WOW!!! Talk about steep! Now if I had spent over $300 for my second box and then canceled I would receive no fee. I was honest and mentioned I did not enjoy the food. Why would it make sense for me to buy a second? I just felt like there was no budging with their policy to accommodate a customer. I will never use Nutrisystem again, especially now!

I received this shipment and called to get help with explaining the daily meal plan. I was told to refer to the guide in the shipment. No matter what I said Rose kept telling me “it’s in the guide”. I told her I just had shoulder surgery and it might be at the bottom of the box, but got the same response. I said I did not see anything in the delivery and if she could just briefly review what I was to do and was told it would arrive in the next shipment on Saturday. At that point I said I could see that she did not want to help and asked to spread to another counselor, I was transfer to the survey and was disconnected immediately.
I had 3 interactions with the company, the First was with rep **. She was very abrupt and wanted to rush me through to order and had little patience. I then went to investigate Jenny Craig. I decided to try once more and was lucky enough to get Bill at **, he was spectacular! Patient, caring, interested, made valuable recommendations, and gave you the sense that he was there for you. He should be training your entire phone staff on how it should be done. You are fortunate to have him. I ended up calling him and all was well. I’m sure if this is my experience that there are many more who have the same misfortune and never take the time to let you know. I hope this helps you make the necessary changes to help your company grow and prosper.

We were out of town in Beckley, W. Va. in that my wife's mother was gravely ill. I returned home to find the box of non-perishable foods which I was not expecting since I wasn't here to get the information about the delivery. I called Nutrisystem that day and was told that the Frozen Portion was shipped. I explained the circumstances that we were not going to be here when the shipment arrived and could not accept delivery. The response was, well the frozen cannot be returned. I put a note on the door saying that I could not accept delivery from Nutrisystem and to return to sender.
The Nutrisystem people I talked to said they understood my dilemma, but I would have to accept the frozen portion of the program and pay the price. I objected saying that I was not going to be in town on the day or the following week of delivery. My wife and I have been in Beckley W. Va. for almost 3 weeks until my Mother In Law passed away on Sunday, Sept 30. The funeral was held on Fri. October 5. We returned home the following Sunday, Oct. 7.
I am not happy with how I was treated by people from Nutrisystem. As a consequence, I have asked that the charge put forth on our Sun Trust Account be disputed and the money returned. An inquiry is now in progress and I am hoping for complete restitution of the amount less the $95.22 deposited in the account to date. This whole debacle is a reason why people are skeptical of systems like this. I am not a happy camper and will use the BBB and also social media to discuss the treatment. I can't believe I am the only one in similar situation but the representatives from Nutrisystem give me no alternatives to use.

I told them that I was a member previously and when I canceled after the first shipment there was no early termination fee. I place an order last week that arrived on Friday, Sept 28. On Saturday, I spent the entire day calling. NO ANSWER ALL DAY. I pressed a button to pretend to place an order and actually got someone to answer the phone. The lady was very nice but told me the department I needed to speak with had left for the day a few minutes before. Had I been able to get through 4 hours earlier I could have talked to someone. #1 I suggest using the phone system as a customer and see if you can get through. Today, I finally got a Nurtisystem person on the phone. Instead of listening to what I was trying to tell her she kept forcing me to listen to her by talking over me. I have already spent hours on the phone trying to get through.
There is no reason for me to listen to her when she is telling me something that is incorrect. I TRIED to tell her that I was missing items from my order which included the Protein Shakes and instructions on starting the program. I thought I was supposed to get the Turbo Boost program. This lady told me I chose not to get it. INCORRECT. I was supposed to not only get those items but I was supposed to get instructions on starting the program. The materials that I received doesn't tell me how to start the program. It only tells me how to start from week 2. She kept saying "No you have the right information". That's not a direct quote. I'm being nicer. Not only was she very nasty but she wasn't listening. I kept saying "you're not listening". She said "You are talking over me".
YEAH, cause she wouldn't listen!!!! I told her I wanted to speak to someone else. She said to call back. This was after I had told her that it took me 4 days calling 3 or 4 hours at a time trying to get through. I asked for her name. She said it was Maria. I could tell she was lying. I said, "What's your last name?" "No last name". Then hung up on me. I called back and yes MIRACULOUSLY got through right away. This time I spoke with Alex with helped me the way this other women should have. I immediately asked Alex who it was on the phone in my last call. He said her initials were BW. So is Maria her middle name or is she just a complete total liar? She has no business answering the phone in a customer service department. She needs anger management classes.
Alex determined that the WRONG instruction booklet was sent to me. He will be sending out the missing shakes and the correct instruction book. I am very upset with Nurtrisystem and the lack of customer service I have received so far. The salesperson Anoah ** had told me she was going to be there for me during the whole process. She has not contacted me to see how the program is going. She has not responded to my calls about missing product.

I was able to lose nearly 20 pounds in five weeks with the Nutrisystem program but the problem is some of it is a scam. First, you can't cancel the program unless you call them. You can do everything online but they make it difficult to cancel. When you try to cancel on the phone then they try to talk you into staying with the program. My big complaint is that I thought that I was getting a deal for my first month - as advertised on tv - except that when you sign up (read the fine print) you are actually signing up for the first month and then the required auto=renewal during the next month.
The first month is about $330 for the shakes, bars and meals - they state a saving of nearly $200. Nope- 'cause you have to pay the $200 on auto renewal the following month or you can pay them to opt out of the program early for $130. The guarantee is bogus. I finally talked to someone else on the phone who approved me to cancel after I paid a total of $550 for two months. Was $550 with all the food really worth it to lose 20-pounds - yes probably but I feel you are not allowed to cancel and need to do it on the phone - that is wrong. Here is the final kicker that made me mad - you are able to order what you want for your second order. So, you try the food for one month and can order you second month based on your experience. Well, they can substitute food items when they are on low inventory. They substituted four items at their discretion that I hate. That is also wrong.

I wrote in twice and also waited in phone queues for longer than I had time and no one gets back to me. I had severe abdominal pains and constant other bathroom issues 2 and a half weeks into the plan. I nicely wrote twice explaining that I like the plan and I like the taste of the food but it is making me so sick that I went off it this past Wednesday. All symptoms cleared up! I have a soy allergen that I think has gotten worse and I think the artificial sweeteners make me sick as well. It's been awful. I don't think they care or are staffed enough or something. Because it took a while for shipment. I bought a kit while waiting at Walmart - did that for a week then did the Turbo takeoff week two. Every day got worse. Started the frozen Uniquely Yours on week 3 and got until Tuesday and I just couldn't do it due to how ill I was.

Nutrisystem is fine if you never need to contact customer service. I've been a customer for years. In the past, customer service was responsive. But now, the Chat folks will help only if you want to buy something. For all other issues, you have to call - and you'll wait on hold until your phone battery dies before anyone answers. If you value customer service, try a different diet vendor. None could have worse customer service than Nutrisystem!

My husband and I both signed up for Nutrisystem and was very excited about it. The commercials makes it sound like an easy diet, good food, weight loss guarantee. Within the first 3 days of working the system we both just couldn't eat the food. Throughout the month we tried to eat just whatever was edible and even food that was, putting it kindly "ok." Although the shakes were really good. So it's reasonable to say we didn't lose anything. It's misleading to have all these celebrities promote your product telling your consumers that it tastes "Great" is the word they used. What are we paying, $400 for mine and $700 for my husband, for??? Even the meat seemed questionable. My husband is a veteran and he said his M.R.Es tastes better than what they are offering for so much money. I am truly disappointed Nutrisystem. Tis Tis!
And one more thing, when I called to cancel I was told that there was a specific date I had to cancel without paying a " fee" and "that day had come and gone!". A fee!!! To cancel a program I signed up for, I paid for, and had no knowledge of that date. I'm dumbfounded. This is a prime example of a corporation that may have started to help people and maybe not. But Nutrisystem, hey, you're taking advantage of people with real weight issues and ripping them off. So newsflash you might wanna read these reviews, not the good ones, the bad ones because when you have a meeting and ask what can be improved, we are trying to tell you! From trusting your commercials I'm now out $1100+ fee of another $200 and something. Oh, and I still have boxes of your food in my kitchen. SMH.

Last month I contacted Nutrisystem because of moldy food and old crusty cereal. Several emails I answered. Finally was able to reach “counselor” by phone. No apology but said they would replace food. They sent a list of food they were sending (which wasn’t even half of what I told them about but I thought okay whatever. Well, I should have known better. ”Replacement” food was never sent to me. Diet actually does work but when product is moldy or un-usable I would think you would stand behind your product. I would NEVER recommend your product. Certainly not interested in keeping customers! Shame on you!

A few days after I found the chip bag sliced open, I found mold inside of the yellow pound cake snack. That’s why the $10 credit was applied, which is fair. However, now I find myself carefully inspecting everything I open which is annoying. I was feeling good about Nutrisystem, it might take a while to feel confident about it again.

You better hope you never have to call customer service. The wait is typically 20+ minutes and I have been on hold for up to 45 minutes. Doesn't feel like good customer service to me. I called to delay my automatic deliveries. I stated I wanted to place a one time a la carte order to get some additional items. The rep said he delayed my auto delivery and assisted me with my a la carte order. I was notified awhile later via email that I had a delivery arriving. This was a good month before I was told I would get my next delivery.
I called and was told the rep had set my a la carte order up as auto delivery! I specifically had said I didn't want food for another month and had asked for a 1 time a la carte order! At this point it was too late the frozen food was already shipped. To my cottage (2 hours away) that I was no longer staying at. I was told they could cancel my non frozen shipment and refund me. I have yet to get the approx $200 refund for the food that was never shipped. So here I am on hold again as I try and contact customer service again (currently on hold for 28.02 minutes and still holding... UGH!

The customer services is awful. After receiving a shipment of food container items I didn't order, attempts to reach customer service over a 7 day period were all unsuccessful. Attempts to live chat, phone and email were ineffective. Being placed on automatic hold and expected to hold for who knows how long, I emailed, and after sending one email each day for a week, I received no response. Only after I canceled did someone bother to email me and managed to acknowledged that they were busy and sorry to see me go. There was no attempt to resurrect the relationship or make things right. Nor did I ever receive the name or telephone number of a real person to work through the issues. Even canceling the order didn't cause anyone to reach out to see if there was a problem. You are just a number and after your wallet.

The most important thing for me is that it is working. On the road to lose 80 lbs. I've lost 28 after only 6 weeks. The food is not fine dining but it is good enough and with enough variety to not be boring. Some of the food is quite tasty and others only rate around good but, for me, that is not the point. The point is that now most of the time I am not hungry and I am losing weight without having to make major alterations to my life. Surely, there are times when I just want to get a pizza delivered and munch out but Nutrisystem provides ways to deal with that. I'm not going to blow smoke, some self-control will be required. The few times I have some real cravings, I just pull up the weight chart and see that nice downward trend of weight and remind myself why I am doing this. The quick start program, for me, was the most difficult portion to get through but it surely did as it described.
My weight loss started quickly and tapered a bit, as expected, once I got on the regular weekly plan. I am still losing around 3 to 4 lbs a week which might be a little atypical but I'm not complaining. This meal plan was exactly what I needed. Previously I ate healthy but I just ate too much. Comparing then to now, I realized I was eating roughly double what I should have been. So not only has this plan allowed me to lose weight but it has provided me with an idea of what meal sizes should be if I ever decide to stop with Nutrisystem. I personally think the frozen meals are a very good add-on as they provide more variety and tend to be a bit more tasty and satisfying.
I really do appreciate that this program exists. I just turned 50 not too long ago and was starting to have more concerns about my weight which has always been above 'normal'. Nutrisystem not only seems to be dealing with my weight but it also helped me ease my mind about my future health. I'm also a workaholic which means that previous diets I tried had, what I feel was, a significant impact on my lifestyle. Which is probably the main reason they all failed.
Nutrisystem is very simple. Take their base plan, modify the meal times to fit your current schedule, keep the intervals between meals roughly the same, and in no time it just becomes part of your day. The food for the most part is portable as well which is rather convenient. Again, Thank You for providing this product. Before I was skeptical about ever seeing what I consider a healthy weight but this product and changed that skepticism into hope and has provided exactly what the proverbial doctor ordered.

The young lady that helped me was very nice and the young man that helped me on the very first order was great. Understood I did not eat chicken and set my orders up so I would get no chicken products... but did not get the Turbo Takeoff box. Had to call... did this order Two weeks later so am just starting this diet Monday Sept 17th. Sad... When I received the Red Turbo Takeoff box it had two (2) chicken entries. Amazing. So now I am down 2 dinners... I am just hoping that there will be no chicken entries of any kind in my next month's order. Other than that... all is good.

I used the program several months ago and lost 30 pounds. I continue to eat some of the food that I can obtain locally to maintain my weight. I purchased a box of the chocolate muffins from Meijers on 9-12-18. On 9-14-18 I opened it and opened one of the muffins to find it very green and moldy. The date code was 3-22-2019. I took pictures and tried to contact Nutrisystem but all they want to do is sell me product. There is nobody responsible for answering when their product is not up to standards. Overall the system is good and it works but the company operates in scam mode, have plenty of people to sell you something and then hide when there is a problem.

I became quite ill on the program. The ingredients are really so terrible, maltodextrin one example and corn syrups. My blood test was terrible and kidneys showed problems and Lipids were very high. I felt very ill and in much pain as well. I am generally never in pain... Food is wasting in my freezer. I cannot eat it again. Blood pressure skyrocketed and had to add a bp pill. And I did not lose any weight in 1 1/2 months.

First of all, on the positive side, you will lose weight with their food, but once you stop it, you will gain all the weight back. Also, I placed an order and they canceled it for no reason. They said to call them to resolve it, it turns out they wanted more money and that I wasnt qualified for a discount. SO good riddance. Just eat less food and you will lose weight without spending 400 a month.

I tried Nutrisystem and found out I am allergic. I tried returning the items as they indicated there was a full refund policy, and they told me I couldn't. I called over seven times during the next 30 days and they were not cooperative or helpful at all. I got transferred around many times, and never had any help at all. I ended up moving, and canceled my card. Two months after that they tried charging my credit card and claim they shipped product, which I didn't order. I never received product because I had moved. Very poor customer service! They try and snag you in and force you to keep buying, even if you don't like the product and even if you are allergic to it! I have told a lot of people about this horrifying experience and they are all appalled and said there are much better programs out there!

My NuMi bottle issue was already taken care of. Subsequent communications concerning my husband getting his bottle with his 2nd month order have finally been answered, but with information that doesn’t include the promo code needed for ordering the free bottle. He was told to include the promo #, but we don’t know what that # is. He therefore missed the window to order the bottle in time for the 2nd month shipment. We would like to have it delivered with the order that is coming up for the 3rd month - we get auto delivery, so it is already set up.

I am very disappointed with the food. Most of it tastes the same to me and actually upsets my stomach. I did not realize I only had two weeks to cancel and much of that was mostly drinks. Then you keep trying different food thinking something will be edible. I tried to cancel after the two weeks and found I was required to spend at least another $200 dollars on food for a second month or pay a $125 cancellation fee. I know there is plenty of fine print in contracts that should be read. I do not recall being verbally told about these conditions. I paid the $125 to get rid of this program. This was a lesson that left a very bad taste in my mouth.

The email was courteous, professional, and apologetic for the experience I had. The rep went on to offer replacement of the damaged food items I had received and encouraged me to give their company another try.
In light of this swift response and their sincere desire to ensure that I was happy with their product and service, I am revising my review. I accepted a ready-made menu that containing some items that I did not enjoy. In the future, I will make a point to select food items that I now know to be more to my liking than others. I am very pleased and heartened by Nutrisystem's timely reply and concern for my purchase. They deserve a second chance.

I ordered my month's supply of diet food from Nutrisystem with high hopes. When the food shipment arrived, most of the frozen breakfast items were broken into small bits; when I opened the packages, the bits fell out. Okay... Then I tried the frozen lunches. Since I take these to work, the only heating option is microwave. Anything with bread or chicken comes out chewy, gooey, and icy cold in the center. It actually made me gag and lose my appetite, which wasn't the diet plan I expected.
I called to cancel my auto-shipment only to learn that I had to pay $125 cancellation fee! I am very careful when reading agreements, and for this item to be overlooked was no easy feat. Fineprint at the end will do that to you. To add insult to injury, the obnoxious customer service person on the phone refused to accept my cancellation until she badgered me with questions and hard sell tactics in a desperate attempt to keep me buying their awful food. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I will never use or recommend Nutrisystem again.

Weight loss system works---stale product and no one to answer to except counselors with no control. I emailed three correspondences to FIVE different departments only to receive a notice that they don't reply to emails because they were too busy. I also included to them pictures of the moldy carrot cake, along with the packaging that states the date is still okay. The oatmeal is so stale it sticks to the side of the package and had to pour hot water in the bag to get the product out. Chocolate covered pretzels are stale. We did call and the rep was very nice and stated that she couldn't do anything except replace our stale food.
How many packages were bad? (I honestly didn't count how many items I threw away---at their prices ANY wasted product is too many!) Doesn't anyone there want to see a photo of the stale food? Does anyone there care? Obviously not! VERY poor about keeping the customer happy, however, are not timid about selling you the program. Shame on you, Nutrisystem.

Whatever you do DO NOT order from this company. I have read the terms and conditions of this contract and yes, there is a $125 cancelation fee. I didn't know this when I originally call to cancel my account. Not that I like it, I understand that it was to be paid (now). My problem is that while I was speaking to a rep, I asked to speak to a supervisor, after several minutes of him berating me about a $30 fee and him making sure that I knew that he thought I was a failure at the program, he put me on hold. I was on hold for several minutes and when he finally came back he proceeded to tell me that his supervisor was at lunch and would called me back when she returned, "Oh and by the way here's your confirmation # for your cancellation". At that time I received an email from my PayPal account, advising me that I just made a payment to Nutrisystem. The man had the nerve to charge my account while he had me on hold.
I have called every day, each rep has told me what he did was ok. This is so sad, that he could do this behind my back and it be ok. My call is being reviewed now (sure it is) but, we all know how this is going to end. I will continue to call each day until I get a callback. He knew what he was doing was wrong, why else would he have to sneak and charge me. I want an apology and someone to tell me what he did was wrong! If I were Marie Osmond, I wouldn't want to be known as a spokesperson for a company that has such bad reviews. BBB alone has 99 bad reviews and I am getting ready to add another. Customer service sucks. I guess that wasn't necessary to be said. Obvious, right?

Over the last several months, I have tried over and over to resolve an ongoing problem with order fulfillment. Customer service refused to help and refused my repeated requests to escalate the issue and finally Nutrisystem decided to dump me. The "official" excuse was that I have a nut allergy, but Nutrisystem knew that on my very first order more than eight years ago (and I’ve repeatedly reminded them since then,) so that excuse broke the industrial bull (manure) meter that's usually reserved for the worse of the politicians.
Even in my last e-mail communication with Nutrisystem where I yet again outlined the problem, the reply back from Nutrisystem completely ignored the majority of what I wrote. It looks like if Nutrisystem doesn't say anything about the problem, then it magically doesn't exist somehow. This shows that Nutrisystem has drastically fallen in terms of focusing on customer needs and flat out refuses to deal ethically with the customer.

This is the 2nd time I've been on the NutriSystem plan. First time was a hit. Lost almost all my weight and kept it off for over a year. Just a little more weight to lose so I ordered again for 2 months. First shipment arrived on time and the food was terrific. Second shipment has the frozen food arrive a couple days late. The 2nd shipment of non frozen food is still not here after being over a week, now almost a week and a half late. How am I to stay on the regiment with half the menu missing for over a week? My assistant called NS (as she ordered for me) and asked for help—reimbursement— compensation of some sort. The reply from Nutri system? I was offered a $10 discount if I ordered another months worth of food. INSULTING AND POOR CUSTOMER SKILLS THIS TIME. I’m disappointed. I even referred you to my sister and brother in law— who both signed up.

Was very helpful with teen program and she was put on the right track. Was provided smart carb, protein, vegetable list. He went over teen program on flex days and regular days. He also gave an example on a FLEX and NS days.

I canceled within a few days. I have the communications to prove it. This is a SCAM. Do not believe them. They push people to ConsumerAffairs.com. That organization does not have a phone number and if you look them up on www.who.is you will find they hide their identity. I suggest if you want to file a complaint to go to other complaint groups that do not feel the need to hide who they are. Keep in mind I do not expect this post will be allowed. You guys are unbelievable. Taking six days to respond to an email is not acceptable. Written cancellation is enforceable and is also encourage with any credit card transaction. Your goal of trying to make someone call in for the sole purpose of trying to change their mind is not mindful or helpful to your customer at all. I just finished a phone call for the second time with one of your idiots who tried to flip this cancellation. You may wish to teach them to be less combative, and they might be more successful.
Since this call was recorded from your end, I also recorded it. Perhaps you would like me to release this phone call to the consumer protection division of the WA State Atty Generals office. King 5 the local NBC Affiliate has great investigative team as well. The end of this phone call I believe violates several provisions of the law. After you review it, you can determine this yourself. Regardless if I do not see a reverse charge in 24 hours I'm calling the CC company to report this as a fraud with previous proof of written cancellation. Perhaps you should go back and read the subject line.

While this is more of a weight loss company, it is the same as a meal service company as you select the meals you desire from an extensive menu. Probably using this for a single person is cheaper than Blue Apron or other meal services but for 2 or more people, financially more for meals.

I receive emails for a la carte discounts. I order my item but the discount did not deduct the percentage of the discount. When I called Nutrisystem I was told certain items are not included in the discount. Nowhere in the email this is mentioned. This is false advertising. I like the program but it’s very expensive to stay on.

I got the wrong order, it has never been "accurate." I know you have been trying to fix this but to no avail -- tried to return the dry food - Fedex didn't work. Trying to get a label to return it - error. Don't know how many times I have spoken to you guys, but, I don't want to be charged, but it's becoming a problem and is sitting on a chair in my VERY SMALL KITCHEN - either send me a label so I can return it or forget it, and I will put it in the cupboard. I want it off my chair - it's a big box. I only wanted to give it back and not be CHARGED! Please, I have been told several times that the label was being mailed - hasn't come. Fedex site wouldn't print my labels.
When my frozen meals came, the Fedex guy put it over the fence on it's END UP and my ice creams melted - as it wasn't set down properly and it was a 90 degree day. So the ice was sideways. Not cooling properly. I let it go, and put the miserable little soft ice creams in the freezer. When I went to get my favorite thing - which I ordered 6 or 7 Chicken enchiladas, I found other items. No chicken enchiladas, not a single enchilada. I have been eating the other frozen replacements, but not with pleasure. I don't know what is going on since I have had good results till the last orders. Also my tracking book wasn't in the last box.
When I spoke to the counselor - (Thomas **) he sent me a way to print the papers, and said he would mail the book - (and labels that NEVER came). I received a single piece of paper that I had already had printed - NO BOOK. I have yet to receive the labels and the last email I got said to click on the link to Fedex and I could print my labels - I couldn't find the link in the email. In May of this year (2018) we ordered 4 weeks of Nutrisystem product under our two accounts. The products arrived and we immediately called to cancel any future orders, as we were warned to do. We closed one account and were advised to keep the other open in case we wanted discounts for future orders, but were assured there would be no automatic orders sent to us and the only way we would receive anything further from Nutrisystem was if we ordered something new. Got that? NO MORE ORDERS unless we authorized such. That was months ago and today a huge box from Nutrisystem arrived on our doorstep in our absence. I want this box picked up and assurance that this will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. I was warned that it is nearly impossible for your organization to stop deliveries regardless of customers following the letter of the rules.
Updated on 08/13/2018: I've just spoken with a customer representative for Nutrisystem regarding an unauthorized delivery of product to my home. I explained that we CANCELLED ALL FURTHER DELIVERIES on June 12, 2018, and yet we received a huge parcel today (August 13, 2018) in our absence. He was finally willing to send us a return label via e-mail, noting that "this sort of electronic management is often difficult for senior citizens." He also said the frozen portion of the delivery is en route and non-returnable. Nice person. Horrid policies. These people train their employees to mislead customers, especially regarding cancelations. I hope we have finally and completely cancelled all further dealings with them. They lack integrity.

When I called to cancel the agent was very rude. I said I was cancelling because I lost only 7 pounds in 3 months and she continued over and over to challenge the reasons why. She spoke over me when I tried to answer her questions. She denied I was eligible for any financial return based on your ad. Based on my experience with her I would NEVER recommend Nutrisystem.

I have used Nutrisystem three times over about 10 years to lose weight. Obviously, I have not been great at maintaining the weight loss, though the effects and eating styles taught by Nutrisystem have lasted for long periods of time. It is a great program that gets me to eat smaller portions with more vegetables and more water throughout the day. I recommend it for anyone whose eating habits have gotten out of control and needs a powerful fix. Many of the food items are delicious, and the comprehensive program makes it easy to implement. I know if I ever need to lose weight and get on the right path toward healthy living, Nutrisystem is the way to go.

Several years ago, I was successful following a logical and supported NS program. I lost 87 and my son over 70. We even did a commercial for you! I just got my "new" order and find that it is no longer a simple program. It took 6 days for me to get an answer from customer support... Toooo long!!!! I quit my WW program for a guided program. And I got jibberish and codes for menu ideas. You think it is logical.
Your site tells nothing and is as confusing as the 'random' shipment of foods and the little booklet to 'record' your food. I want to have my hand held through this process and I want guides for shopping that are not coded and confusing... At least with Jenny Craig you get a personal counselor... And so does WW. You used to have all the aid a person needs to wade through the rough beginning waters of your NS program. Previously you lacked the maintenance support. Now you offer no support. Cancel my "Membership" please! No more food please!

I placed an order for B1G1 from link in email advertising the bars. My confirmation did not show the deal or the price that was on order. I did live chat and email to correct and see why 2nd “free” was not showing. You never seem to be able to correct issues at 1st attemp. Always excuses. Quite frustrating to try live chat then email to be told use this link or this core or to call. I used the link FROM an email for the B1G1. You send endless emails yet to try and reach you for issue it takes 3 weeks and no solution. I’m looking for the second order free that was not sent.

BUYER BEWARE - MANY PRICING OFFERS FOR SAME PLANS. I am upset to find out that there is a cheaper offer for the plan I ordered today! When I spoke with the friend (my mother) that referred me, she informed me she purchased the same plan yesterday for $249.00!! The infuriating part is my plan for $301.06 is that charge after using the $30 OFF code from her referral email. I am assuming it’s all the same food?!?
I am asking that you credit my plan for the difference and sign me up at the $249.00 with an additional $30 off for being referred by a friend, with my auto-delivery to be charged at the $249.00. If this is not possible, I feel I will be forced to cancel the plan and dispute charges due to the confusing nature of the different pricing for the same plan. Please advise.

I was charged $283, and two days later I realized that I had gotten a call from another representative who promised me that he could lock in my price for $257 a month. This means I paid $34 too much, and finances are really a challenge right now. The shenanigans I went through to get the good service that I did finally get from Larry was really quite excessive.

I decided to splurge and try it to lose a little weight before a trip to Mexico. The only time I lost weight (2 lbs) was the first jumpstart week. After that, was plateaued the remainder of the time. I anticipated only trying it the first month to see how it worked for me, when I suddenly see a charge on my card for a second month I called to cancel, which they then told me I was obligated to a 2 month minimum since my plan was a 'discounted' plan. Cancellation charge at that point was $125... so they convinced me to do the shakes and bars only for that months for $175.00... then assured it was cancelled after that.
I received the shakes and bars, which they were the MALE version, not the female. I called and they sent out a new package, which I didn't receive till a month later, which again, was only the shakes, and was the same as the male version I previously received. THEN, I see a third charge for a third month of food, which I had to call again, and they attempted the same story of having to charge me $125 for early cancellation. I was livid of course, and mentioned the plan never worked to begin with and wanted my money back for the entire thing as promised. At that point, they explained that only pertains if you cancel within the first 14 days... That's the KICKER, I didn't receive my first order for OVER 2 weeks... so money back guarantee is actually NOT an option at all due to their super slow shipping. It's a complete scam... DO NOT DO IT!! I'm still waiting for my credit card to be credited from that third mystery order!!!

When a user is in the online systems it does not check to see if a customer is placing a duplicate order and customer service answers is, "You did it. You pay for it." But if you don't use the online system and call in then they tell you that this action would generate a second order. To me this is a form of consumer fraud.

I love the food. Your service, on the other hand, makes me exasperated... to the point that I am not going to order anymore unless absolutely necessary. Main issues: (1) sales with imaginary/hidden ending dates. C'mon, NO ONE thinks that's how a sale works. NO ONE. (2) I almost ALWAYS (maybe ALWAYS?) had to get a human to intervene when I "won" something on the NUMI app, because it was otherwise IMPOSSIBLE to get what I won. Simply not acceptable in today's online world. (3) When I did a chat to get what I "won", I was invariably starting from the wrong choice on the pull-down that starts the chat. (As if "Existing orders go here, new orders go there, what you want to chat about is always the opposite of what you chose".) Just make that straightforward, OK, and quit wasting everyone's time.

Nutrisystem changed my live. I was 270lbs and did not have the motivation to go anything about it. I had 2 knee replacements so exercise was almost non existence but through the great program I lost 50 lbs. I would have continued but I lost my income and could not afford it. Maybe some day I can continue my journey to get down to my goal weight.

I have been a loyal customer for almost a year and a half. I spoke with a customer service rep by the name of Frank on 07/31/2018 approx at 1:20 pm. Who was very rude. He informed me that the plan I thought I had ordered (Weekends My Way) was not the plan I had been on. I thought it was the plan I always had ordered due to the fact I order the same way off the app the every time. He refused to cancel my next coming up order and when I asked to speak to a manager he said there was not one. I tried to explain to him my confusion and he would just cut me off and not listen. After we hung up And before I could get a call back from a manager like he had promised, he canceled my order and charged my card $125 fee. I never got a chance to rectify my situation and I feel as a loyal customer I was mistreated.

I placed my first order almost a month ago via my phone. I called today to cancel my next order because I am not losing the weight I wanted to lose. The rep told me that if I cancel I will be charged $125. This is absurd as I do not recall signing up for this! The rep said I checked off the auto delivery and that I should have read the terms & conditions. Nutrisystem didn't even put a disclaimer regarding this cancellation charge before ordering their products. This company will take your money! Such a scam!

When signing up for this product my husband did not read the terms and conditions-that is on us. It would be a huge inconvenience for anyone to return the product. However, I still feel the cancellation fee is outrageous and will NOT recommend your company to anyone. Plus the few products he did try were not very appetizing.

I have been getting the 5 day box and find that there's hot spicy food in the mix, and I can't for the life of understand why. When I contact you I get a bunch of BS and no real answers. There is absolutely no reason for these items to be in the menu, not when there are many HOT sauces on the market that anyone who enjoys heartburn and a sore mouth can take advantage of. This is not the first time I've complained to you about this problem. I had the same problem with you when I did the 30 day program, it's ridiculous that you do this.

I think Nutrisystem is a rip-off. They offered me a discount on my first month's food as long as I promised to order a second month. When I decided I didn't want a second month, they charged me $125. I truly regret making the stupid and foolish decision to order a month of their food. The portions are extremely small, and the food doesn't look appetizing or healthy. I did contact customer service, and the people I spoke with were poor listeners and had a surly attitude. Save yourself time and money and find another diet - this one is a scam. Honestly, if their product was so good, they wouldn't offer discounts and then take them away.

I am sixty-five years old. Was in a nursing home for five years. I had eleven stents in my heart and a pacemaker. Had gone through two cancers. I was in a wheelchair for five years. I understand that it is partly my issue because I didn't alter my order in time, but I was unexpectedly sent away on business. I am somewhere I don't have cell service and no access to a computer where I can do personal work on. So there was no way I could call or use the chat (it wouldn't pull up on my phone). I emailed because it was my only option. It took two days for someone to get back with me and by then it was too late. I live in the city so there was no one to receive my packages and no one but myself has a key to my apartment.
So now my frozen items are sitting in the hot sun (we're currently in a heat wave) and my boxed items are about to join it. I'm just disappointed that no one was able to help me and the policy is basically that I am SOL on my items when they spoil in the heat. I do understand that it is also partly my fault, but it bothers me that it took two days for anyone to get back with me. If email is not a viable and quick option, don't include it, or make the chat feature more mobile friendly. Thank you.

I tried Nutrisystem and had so many issues before the food even arrived. I'm not sure how you can call 100 or 150 calories a "meal" or the fact that you have to add in your own fruits, vegetables and other food items. A meal should be the whole thing, otherwise it should be call a very low calorie entree. The customer service was impossible to fix my order that was incorrect and I was on the phone for over an hour just to cancel. I can't get them to give me my money back even though I cancelled within 5 days of ordering.

I stayed with the program for 2 months, you can check the website, order # **. When I got the next order confirmation email order ** I called to report I was having allergies to some food which I was willing to avoid, instead they decided to kick me out of the plan. The problem here is that I was charged the package anyway. I called several times to Nutrisystem and they claimed my issue should be with my bank not with them.
My bank refuses to issue a refund because Nutrisystem keeps claiming I got the box when there is not even a tracking number to track. The program was canceled when I got email confirmation. Nutrisystem refused to refund the $306.98. They never sent me a letter confirming they were going to refund the money, or any kind of proof they were not going to charge me for some box I didn’t get that month. Checking the website you can see there’s only 2 monthly boxes delivered at my address and the no more boxes after the cancellation. I find this totally unacceptable, I have called Nutrisystem so many times and the answer is always the same, that they didn’t charge me but they can’t send proof of no charge. At the end I don’t have the food, I don’t have the money and I was charged for 3 shipments but only received 2! So unfair!!!

Three days ago I tried to change the delivery of my August order since I’ll be away until mid-month. Somehow the date of the change wouldn‘t move the month forward from July, and it registered July 13 as my next processing date. I immediately emailed, asking you to fix it, and got an automated response. Yesterday I called to follow up and found that you’d already debited my account. Vince changed the next shipment to process on August 13. Meanwhile, you have not returned the $339 you stole. This resulted in my account being overdrawn. This is totally unacceptable. You need to fix your act.

My average blood sugar readings are between 125 to 145 with my regular diet. On this plan the readings jumped to 150 up to 179. The lunch and dinner packages were too mushy, too gross in color, too salty, with very heavy flavoring of chicken or beef. Not appetizing at all.

I was very pleased with to customer service and support. The food was great and the variety was unending. I cancelled for one reason, it is a very carbohydrate laden diet. Most meals are rice, pasta, or bread based. It is lacking in vegetables and meats, for my style of eating.

Take a look at the menu and snacks. I ordered the Diabetes Uniquely Yours Plan not because I'm diabetic but to simply avoid the carbs and insulin spikes. I think it is near criminal to call this crap Diabetic oriented. It is mostly empty carbs and junk food. Examples of breakfast are a tiny bowl of what amounts to knock off Cheerios or Wheaties muffins sugary breakfast bars and the like. I'm also concerned about the occasional real meat that does not need refrigerated but has a shelf life of about a year.
I'm 5' 11' and working my way down from my max weight of around 230. I would like to weigh around 185 but that has been many decades ago and may be unrealistic. I know how to exercise and lose weight many different ways. It's just a matter of discipline and sometimes I let it slide. Look at their menu, keep in mind the portions are tiny and go shopping for whole less processed foods and stick to it. The one and only thing you get from this is a bunch of stuff in the mail and if you follow the diet you will lose weight, I'm convinced there are many many healthier and cost effective ways to do it.

My blood pressure has shot up through the roof, all the sodium. Father became ill, have a flight to catch today to go to AZ to take care of him. Called last night to cancel, the rude woman answering customer no service, was insistence on researching my Dad's illness. Could you imagine being 2000 miles away from one of your parents and explaining their personal illness to an robot of a human being. So I was charged $125.00 to cancel, although their webpage says $99, I guess the extra $26 was me telling this ignorant woman it was none of her business what is wrong with my Father. When I land and have some time to myself, I will be contacting the Attorney General's office out of the State they are headquartered in. As a few other people have stated, don't try to ask for supervisor, if this was an legit company, they wouldn't have to charge a high cancellation fee to begin with.

I was really looking forward to this plan. Even though the food is excessively high sodium and I'm on a strict low sodium diet I thought I'd give it a try. After the turbo takeoff week I didn't loose weight or inches. Every time I contacted Nutrisystem chat the "counselors" were very negative and gave no helpful advice. The last chat the "counselor" was very negative, gave zero advice except to admonish me because I followed my normal workout during the turbo takeoff and I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to follow my normal routine. Then she stopped responding altogether and would not answer my questions.
The food is not very good and extremely too high in sodium, there are no dinners that don't need cooking and I didn't lose any weight or inches when I was told I would and above all the staff is rude and gives no help or advice and just is rude and critical. Very disappointing. I wasted time and money. I'm returning the food and canceling my subscription. I do not recommend Nutrisystem.

The experience stars went from 1 to 4 with the 1st auto ship order. I received an email dated Friday that my order was being prepared and by Sunday it was released and I wasn't able to make any modifications online. I was disappointed since I am only on my 2nd week of my 1st order with plenty of food and little room to store more, in addition to the unexpected charge. I sent an email to customer service with this information and then received an automated email that Nutrisystem was experiencing a higher than normal call volume. I was very skeptical about my next order. Much to my surprise, Bernadette sent me an email that since my order hadn't actually shipped, she was able to cancel it. She also explained in the email about how to modify my order and move up the next scheduled ship date to when I will be ready for it. To sum it up... THRILLED!! Thank you very much!

I am finding this diet the easiest I have ever tried. All the others I have done require preparing one’s own food. This is so convenient and I like the variety of foods. Also, some of the meals are portable (a bar) which means that if you have to be out during a meal time, you can still stay on program. I did lose about ten pounds so far as I begin my third week, so it does seem to be working.

I used Nutrisystem a few years ago and had good results. A month ago I decided to try it again and this time I was very disappointed. When I ordered the system online I didn't see the small print that said "auto delivery" in the midst of all the pricing and choices. Even if I did see it I would think it meant delivery included. What it means according to Nutrisystem is you are going to receive another package in 28 days and your credit card will be billed for it automatically. That's called auto renewal or auto replenishment and calling it auto delivery is a deliberate way of hiding its true meaning.
I was out of town for several weeks and I did not even start on the 1st shipment I received. I opened my e-mail this morning to a message telling me my 2nd shipment was on its way! I called Nutrisystem to stop it and was told I missed the cut off time to stop (what she now referred to as the auto "ship") which was 10PM the night before. The email was sent to me at 9:32 PM the night before. So that left me a 28 minute window to stop the auto ship without a cancellation charge!
After I complained about the auto shipment and how I did not see it nor was it stated clearly that I was signing up for it when I placed the order. The rep told me it appeared 3 times on the website and that I was made aware of it. This had now turned into a mild argument and the rep had NO INTENTION of backing off the auto ship Cancellation Fee. Again what appears on the web page are the words "auto delivery" in small blue type with no instructions to click on them and no further explanation.
At this point I decided to cancel Nutrisystem altogether. The rep then said she was able to stop the 2nd auto shipment. And tried to talk me into delaying the order until I had time to use up the 1st order so I would not have to pay the UP-CHARGE for buying only one month of food. But by now I felt like a victim to a scheme and wanted no more dealings with Nutrisystem. That's when I was informed that I have to pay a $125.00 CANCELLATION FEE to walk away from Nutrisystem completely... This is a flat out scam in my opinion. When I placed my order I found the web page a little confusing and with multiple offers and numerous food choices to pick and choose from it only added to the confusion. But nowhere on the order page is it clearly stated that there is a 2 month minimum to hold the price you are expecting and if you want to cancel all together you are going to get hit for $125.00!
It saddens me that a company of this size with relatively good reviews chooses to resort to these types of tactics. I own a small company and I would NEVER put one of my customers through hoops like this. They are either happy and pleased with my product and service or I do all I can to make them happy, and if I can't they are free to walk away without penalty. So it's buyer beware and if you are not happy with Nutrisystem I wish you more luck than I had with walking away without paying a penalty.

It took 3 phone calls to stop the program! Antwon, the first person I spoke to, asked so many irrelevant questions. It was ridiculous. My family has suffered some financial setbacks and I need to stop credit card spending. He wouldn’t hear that and even at one point said he wasn’t trying to talk me out of canceling! Then why all the questions!? Just do what I asked! I asked for his manager and he told me the manager wasn’t there. Then he disconnected me. The next call the man put me on hold and no one came back on. Third call, a young woman, finally heard what I was saying and I successfully canceled. It should not have been that difficult to stop!

To try and save money, I wait for deals (40%- 50% off) and also Numi challenges that offer free stuff. Also buy $100 gift cards at Costco (this month for $55). Trying to get your people to navigate these orders has become a nightmare! They're not trained and getting through to customer service (is there even a special phone number for them) has proven to be almost impossible. Good product, good plan, lousy customer service, not a good business model.

Got my package with “Turbo Takeoff” in the box. Of the meals in this ALL the dinners & some lunches have meat or meat byproducts in them!! I’m vegetarian and do not eat these. When I was contacted by you I was assured that the meals (all of them) were reviewed & I was assured ALL were vegetarian meals. Additionally, since I am allergic to all bell peppers (yellow, red, & green) that all meals containing these were also removed. Below is a picture of the 10 meals I cannot eat/use from the Turbo Takeoff box. Just now went through the next set of meals: 2 selections (for total of 6 meals) have bell peppers in them. These are: Black beans & Rice. and: Mushroom Risotto.
What will you send to replace these so I can actually start this program? The frozen things arrive this Saturday - not sure what is in there that I also cannot eat. Thankfully there is only one of the Fiesta Mac & Cheese as I hate the taste of sausage (has artificial sausage in it). Please DO NOT send more of this. Other things to avoid: Thick crust pizza. Majority of chocolate flavor (ex: the Turbo Shake is chocolate-I prefer Vanilla.) Please let me know when I can expect the replacements for these meals that are truly vegetarian & contain NO peppers.

I started Nutrisystem in January 2018, and received my first shipment without incident. I received a second, discounted frozen shipment without incident, as well. My third order arrived missing several items, which I called and which were replaced immediately. My fourth order, which included frozen items, took over a week in transit, and arrived completely melted. The last order came damaged, and the representative indicated replacement items would be sent, and an subsequent email indicated items would come in 4-10 business days. When they didn't, I contacted NS, and was advised the items were being tacked on to my next order. Why didn't anyone bother to contact me about that change?
I spoke with "Victor" who offered to send the items out. It was just four lightweight pastas, and it seemed a waste of anyone's money, because I have a ton of food on my shelf now. (He offered a $10 discount on a future order, though, which I accepted.) The only reason I am writing is to express my frustration with the shipping and handling, and some customer service issues that would seem like a no-brainer to me.
We pay $3 for less than an ounce of pasta and a sprinkling of cheese - and do so willingly - so it makes my head spin to experience so many issues (60% of my orders!), and no one bothers to tell me the email they sent was incorrect, and I shouldn't expect my shipment in 10 days. I get that it's a big outfit, but I am feeling more and more marginalized, and am seriously re-thinking whether I will stay on this, simply because of these consistent issues. In the meantime, I am working on transitioning into 'real' food in an effort to get off as soon as possible. I am no longer buying frozen from NS.

I participated in Nutrisystem for approximately 6 months. I hated the fact after my initial 2 orders my prices went up and I continue to try to lose weight and get healthy. I was on a budget and this extra hurt. I also would love to buy ala carte certain items I love such as the breakfast muffins. You make the postage and handling on those as much as the muffins which is ridiculous. You lose me as a customer. I think these are both tactics to take advantage of overweight people rather than to serious help them.

At the moment I am unsure of the program. Mixed info as to what the meal plans will entail. Carleigh was very informative as to what meals and the dietary restrictions for my personal needs. The representative that I initially talked to did not inform me of the actual meal plan. He was also difficult to hear, his phone line was very static.

The customer service is terrible. One person doesn’t know what the other is doing. The chat is worthless. The website is so slow and the wait on the phone is impossible most of the time. They should let you know ahead of time how long the wait is. It’s anyone's guess when you call. Now it says connection lost. It’s not on my side. Just another example. At my last straw with patients the plan is irrelevant.

I have now received 2 shipments that were not quite right. 1st time I received the dry goods over a week after the frozen. In the dry, several were melted. 2nd one the plastic tray was destroyed. I still used it but found plastic in the food, actually by eating it. I took a picture if you'd like to see. I believe this is my last month. I am not losing any more weight than I have on my own. 3rd thing, the NuMi rewards are great. But my codes to retrieve them NEVER work! So really not a reward. Just a concept I guess.
Update on 7/3/18: Just a follow up again... another 2 different shipments with problems. 1) a frozen Turkey Medallion had a shattered dish. I decided to still eat it, took it out of the packaging. I almost ate a piece of plastic. 2) I received a reshipment of some chocolate items (replacements of the same issue). Again they were all melted and in one solid mass. It's too bad because I really do like the Nutrachocolates. I tried to eat the last one and it really does change the taste, and texture isn't very desirable. I've decided to delay my next order. I'll figure out if I want to continue or not over the next month or so.

I called to cancel within the 14 day window for two main reasons, 1/4 of my frozen food showed up thawed and my nutritionist recommended that I stop, I had emailed about the thawed food and got nowhere. When I called to cancel they kept trying to sell me other stuff and make the process as miserable as possible. When I finally convinced them I wanted nothing more to do with them they charged me $125 to cancel the plan even though I was still inside the 14 day window. I am now telling everyone I know who was waiting on my results that they should spend their money elsewhere.

I purchase the 5-day meal kits at my local grocery store. Occasionally, I substitute foods: for example, in place of a bar or muffin for breakfast I would have one slice of whole grain bread (110 cal.) & a hard boiled egg. I wanted to know if there are recipes available from Nutrisystem for the way I am doing it. So far I have lost 6 lbs. in 3 weeks. Thanks for your help.

The first week is tough. I was hungry for most of it, but I lost 5lbs, which definitely helps the motivation! Most of the food is quite tasty, though, and the combination of the app and the counselors is fantastic for keeping you on track. It's very well organized and the counselors have been great! I wish some of the food wasn't so sugary, but overall a great program. I used to be able to get the weight off on my own, but now in my 50's, it wasn't budging, so I decided to try Nutrisystem, and I'm really happy so far. Looking forward to hitting my goal weight!

The Turbo food is just horrible. The bars are ok but the chocolate covered pretzels are melted together and when the frozen food came there were two that were out of the wrappers and just loose. I have already had this (frozen food) problem resolved. I am sticking to this diet program because it’s easy to follow. I hope to lose my weight quickly so I will not have to stay on this diet.

Ordered with 40% discount but only received 35% "discount" (which is the regular auto delivery price and NOT a discount). Contacted customer service and TWO DAYS LATER was told to phone to receive my full discount. Phoned and was told it was too late and I would have to cancel order and start over to receive the discount BUT we would still be charged $19.99 in shipping fees when we returned order. I told CS I would then cancel the entire order and membership for my full refund. Lousy website, lousy policy, lousy customer service.

Nutrisytem does not work that well. Can lose some weight but is not that effective. Also, do not allow auto delivery at all. If you decide that you no longer with to pay $500/mo they will keep billing you. Even if you request they stop. Best thing to do is not use Nutrisystem - it is a RIP OFF!!

I called to sign up one evening - 6-6-18, it must have been an extremely BUSY night for you! Finally a guy came on the phone & asked what it was I wanted to do?? I told him I called to Start the Program; He said there would be someone with me in a few minutes; I got tired of waiting & Left A Call Back #!! No one EVER Called back! Not that night, nor on the next day!! I finally, called back in: 6-7-18 - Spoke with A Great Guy, Named Greg!! He was What I Would have Expected, from A Company of your time in the Business & Your Growth & Popularity!! My husband & I called in last night, to get What I thought Would BE My Meal Plans, for the Other Four Weeks of My Order! We DID NOT Have a good Experience, at all!!
We couldn't find out what to do, or how to use the information I had been given & My Husband - Being Himself, A Computer Geek (Expert - employed by IBM for 30 Years; working after retirement for an after market Computer Company - Sequel, CA., Then Consulted for an English Co., Xyratex. Also, consulted for an Australian Co. in Sydney. Ended up working for a Japanese Company, Hoya, Inc. for another 4 years!! Both of our sons Are IT guys, one owns his Business. Just telling you why he was not happy with your Web Site - He felt like we could not find the information, a new client Needed to proceed with her program; that it was Mainly Directed at New Clients & Getting More New Clients! He talked with one of your young men employees, last evening - & felt he was Not told or given the info we had been seeking all evening!
Today I called back in & spoke with a counselor named, Olivia; she was very nice, well informed, but she DID NOT TELL ME, what I wanted to hear! I wanted menu plans for the rest of my 4 weeks of food!! I thought that is what you DID! She said "NO!" I needed to follow Daily Tracker & Grocery Guide! She did send me, she said, A One Days, Sample Menu; Actually, it turned out to be a sample one week menu plan!! It is lovely! I WISH I COULD GET YOU TO DO THE SAME THING, FOR THREE MORE WEEKS OF MENU PLANS & I WOULD BE A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!! I have had a very poor start to get to this month; Was sick most of Jan. & Feb. ended with me having A Fall A Face Plant in the entrance to the pool, where I exercise; I have be going there for 13 years!!
Then a month & a few days later, I fell out of bed in the A M, both feet had cramps in them; they DID Not Hold Me up & I Wacked the Side of my head on the night stand - that broke my neck!! I really feel Like Just Following Your Menu Plans, Like I just finished doing Yesterday, when I finished My Turbo Meal Plans for the Week!! I DO HAVE ANOTHER WEEK OF MEAL PLANS NOW & I cannot tell you "How Happy That Makes Me Feel!"

Customer service is not their priority. During the diet it takes them 10-14 days to process any order including a la carte orders. They offer an expedited processing for $15, but that only means they move you to the front of the line and saves you 5 days, but delivery is still 5-7 days ground. Anything ordered has hidden automatic renewals, even when the one time button order is clicked. When returning unwanted product they give you a RMA # and claim your refund will take 7-14 days to process once received. Newsflash: they do not process the refund until you call. They do not use nor accept the RMA number and you have to provide the tracking number of the shipping company. They do not even use their own number to verify. Make sure you keep the tracking number from the shipper. They received my package on the 20th of May and I called on the 25th of June. I am still waiting for the credit to appear on my account.

I called trying to cancel but was talked into giving it another try!!! Don't waste your money because they didn't refund me any 30 days when I told them it has not worked for me. Only lost 3 lbs. Now an email said o well the return funds only applies to certain agreements and must be requested within 14 days of program start.

The dinner portions were not adequate enough. More food is given with weight watchers or lean cuisine. There was nothing said about a cancellation fee if you don't take a second shipment. Your discount is a gimmick and sooner or later ConsumersAffairs will investigate, when people start to complain.
