    I think customer service for Nutrisystem did a good job in getting in touch with me and resolving the issue for 125$. I would say the customer service is more responsive here than on the phone for sure.

    Nutrisystem has the worst customer service ever. I had called about cancelling my plan, when I called they are like, "You have to pay 125$ cancellation fees." I asked them, "What this is for." They said that, "You have to order the 2nd time for not paying the fees." I am like, "This was not there when I ordered the food." I told them I was a returning customer and I had to go out of the country for like 6-8 months. Now the person on the phone asked me to go as a new customer through like 3-4 pages and then he showed me some small link which is called autodelivery where it states (remember it is for new customers he said and not for returning customers). I asked him why in the hell didn't they put the text in bold when you order, he is like, "It is there in that small stupid link on the 3-4 page."

    I was like, "What the hell. How can you expect a customer to see this stupid link." They didn't agree to anything and charged me 125$ for cancellation fees. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Also I am never going to recommend Nutrisystem to anyone. Also I have had experiences like this before with them but I still came back as it was convenient to order food. But this was the last straw. I am never coming back to Nutrisystem as they are RIP offs when it comes to this. Thanks.

    Just wanted to mention that Sharon in customer service did a great job and was very detailed and thorough in her response to me. I had just placed my first order and wanted to be ready for when the shipments arrived. I read through as much as I could on your website - which is nice, but VERY video, hyperlink friendly. I didn't have the time to wade through all the hyperlinks to find what I was looking for so I emailed customer service. I asked for pdfs on how many power fuels, smartcarbs and proteins a day. They need to streamline the information on the website.

    Once I'm on the plan, I may enjoy the online tools, but very confusing first time out as so many links, videos, hyperlinks and it was time-consuming to figure out what is/is not needed and how many to consume each day. The pdfs she sent are a Godsend and much appreciated - everything in one happy place! Frankly, I am computer savvy but on my "off" time don't want to wade through a website, I am on a computer all day at work and prefer paper so I can get all the info in one place and not have to click around so much.     I am traveling and unable to make a call to cancel my account. I sent an email using the "Contact Us" link on the website. I'm now on the third email asking for the account to be cancelled! I keep getting told my shipment is already delayed. I know this. I delayed it weeks ago when I found out I was going to be traveling. This is why I want to cancel my account. How hard is it to get decent customer service? I had to spend over an hour on the phone just to delay the order weeks ago. Now this...I'm not very impressed with Nutrisystem customer support and assistance. PLEASE CANCEL MY ACCOUNT, I DO NOT DESIRE TO RECEIVE ANY FUTURE SHIPMENTS!

    I started Nutrisystem Feb 2017. My goal was to lose 70 lbs by October 2017. I lost 60 lbs which I am very satisfied with in light of the fact of I didn't follow the plan very strictly after the 1st 3 months when I lost the first 30 lbs. The best part is that it is so easy to get right back on the plan after a busy social (read "lots of good food") weekend. The Customer Service / Counselors are always helpful and very nice. I think the price for a month of food is OK and there are ways to get discounts to make the price very reasonable. I will continue in 2018 until I make my goal weight. Thanks Nutrisystem, I don't think it would have been as easy to do this without your food.

    If you're committed to losing weight and truly understand what you're committing to, both diet-wise and financially, this is a program that can work. I've stuck to it and lost almost 15 lbs in just under 4 weeks.

    I had the same issue that a lot of people seem to have- I wanted to use Nutrisystem for one month to kick start my dieting, but found myself in a position where I was going to have to either spend the money and order a second month or pay $125 cancellation fee. Once I wrote my initial review on CA, the company did respond and the issue was resolved. It just took me screaming into the abyss to get someone to hear me out.

    Again, I think if you understand what you're signing up for, Nutrisystem is a great option.

    I'm 14 days into my first month and am definitely pleased with the results. My intent was to only do one month to kickstart my weight loss, so I just called to cancel. Like many people below, I was rattled to find out that I had been given some sort of discount on my initial purchase that required me to sign up for [at least] one additional month. I signed up over the phone initially, and I am almost positive this was not clearly communicated to me. Had this been explained to me, I would have found another weight loss program. $400 is a pretty big investment for me, and $800 I just can't afford right now.

    When I explained this to the lady on the phone during my cancellation call, she said my initial call had been recorded so there was no getting around either accepting my second order or paying $125 cancellation fee. I asked her to send me the recording, and if I agreed I would gladly pay the fee. She refused. She then told me that I still had weight to lose, so I would be foolish to quit now. Greedy companies like Nutrisystem, that rely on cheap tricks to steal money from hard working people that are looking to better themselves, are a disgrace. Like I said, it really is a shame, because I'm overall pleased with the food and the results I'm seeing. BUYER BEWARE THAT YOU ARE PROBABLY BEING SWINDLED.

    Basically I signed up before I was really ready to start. Unfortunately, the next order comes on a schedule, not when the first order runs out. Now canceling requires jumping through hoops much greater than required to signup. Unimpressed by the whole experience. If the food had been really good or the program really easy to follow, I'd have a different opinion. But the food is strictly average to poor and the plan no easier to follow than other programs (like HMR). HMR food is generally better and certainly an organization more committed to customers/patients than Nutrisystem is.

    I'm upset with Nutrisystem for a couple of reasons. First is related to the program itself: It's not easy to follow or figure out, is an overwhelming amount of information, the website is hard to search on, and aside from all the recommendations of veggies for sides, all the food is processed. I'm increasingly uncomfortable with processed foods... I can't believe a healthy diet program would have so much of it. Most of it tastes very processed — either like cardboard or, with most of the heated dishes, in order to make up for the lack of sugar/fat flavor, they are overloaded with spices.

    Plus, it's VERY expensive when you consider you're getting only the main entree. You still have to buy veggies, fruits, proteins, beverages... My monthly food bill has increased by probably one third. And I have noticed a tendency towards flatulence with some of the foods. I did lose about six pounds the first month, but because that was immediately followed by the holidays, I couldn’t keep it all off. I’m probably net three down… :-(

    Secondly is their business practices. It has taken an act of congress to cancel the program. I was told after the first month that I “agreed to” (it was never something made obvious to me) at least two months. I could not cancel after one month! I had to buy another $200 worth of their processed food or else pay a $125 cancellation fee!! This is insane! So I went ahead and ordered another month of snack type foods. Both my husband and I were on the program, so I had to order a shipment for each of us. Lo and behold, a month later, my husband’s order was automatically renewed. I tried calling them to tell them I had cancelled, but they insisted that I’d only cancelled MINE. And the only way my husband’s could be cancelled was if HE called and did it. Because his order had a “privacy setting” on it. Well, we didn’t place the privacy setting! They did!

    Despite my trying to tell them that because I had ordered the food and had placed it on MY credit card, I was entitled to cancel it, they wouldn’t budge. My husband had to call them. This is not something either one of us has time for in our busy working days!! Why would a business make it so hard to cancel?? This business is a rip off. They are not interested in truly helping people with weight loss. They are simply a commercial business that cares only about the bottom line and cannot find it within their corporate values to work with a customer’s individual situation. I would never recommend this program to anyone!!

    When signing up for auto delivery, they do not send a reminder when your order is being processed and charge you $125 for cancellation. Customer service is scripted to keep you in the service and when I gave a reason to cancel, they repeated the same script. I was able to sign up after business hours, I should have been able to cancel my order after business hours as well. My credit card company alerted me to the order. Not happy. Customer service said that I was able to stop payment in time but not avoid the $125 charge.

    I was getting a pretty good discount but I decided I can afford it and all the dinners tasted gross so when I tried to switch to a plan that the website made me believe was going to be cheaper and didn’t have dinners on it. Didn’t tell me that my discount wouldn’t be applied anymore and now my plan is more expensive. When I’ve tired talking to customer service reps they just tell me “good luck”. They don’t really seem to care about their customers and I can’t support a company like that. I work in sales too but I’ll do anything I can to get my customers the best deal possible so they leave happy and I thought this company would do the same. I guess I was wrong.

    Mike decided to postpone my order till 1-1-18, when I requested it be delayed till 12-8-17. I am on a diet, why would he postpone my order being processed for nearly a month after I requested? The only reason I can come up with is to keep me on the diet an extra month as I would likely gain weight during that delay. It is very annoying to have someone change my dates, the customer, for whatever reason. Fortunately I found the email and was able to correct. I would have stopped Nutrisystem immediately and gone to another diet had I had to wait on the delay Mike initiated.

    I had success with this program. It taught me the importance of portion control. I remain more than satisfied with the breakfast and lunch options. I have yet to find a dinner option that I enjoy. Personally, I believe the foods that are packaged dry and reconstituted have a more desirable flavor and texture. I would stay with the program if the breakfast/lunch/snack option was more reasonably priced. Being only $25 lower than the 3-meal per day package seems unfair to customers so I am leaving the program.

    Tried Nutrisystem and I will say the food taste was fine. Did not reach the level of weight loss but was heading in the right direction. I however found that the carb count, sugar count and salt count were way too high for me. I went to cancel my order and to my shock found out that I am being charged $125 for cancellation. Charged for not receiving a product... really!

    My first experience was wonderful, simple to follow and resulted in an 80# loss, but the last 2 times have not been successful. The program is too complicated to follow. Just go back to about 2009 I think and make the program simpler to follow again, then I might try again. Have kept off between 50 and 60#. The daily booklet was so much better. Hope this helps.

    I had contacted Nutrisystem Phone Call 2 months ago. I had received a shipment of food. I was told they would take care of it. I received another package this week 12.4.17 I called again to get the program cancelled due to health issues I had with sodium intake. I was told they had not received any information to cancel my delivery nor services. I offered to pay for shipment of one since it had been awhile however I was told they were going to cancel the service 2 months ago. Now I have 2 boxes of food and one label. I am not happy with how this was handled. I have been a customer for a while now. I expect better service and turn out than this.

    5 years ago I got divorced. Life changed drastically. I sunk into a deep depression after fighting it for many years. After hitting an all time high of 282 lbs I realized I needed to make some major changes. I ordered Nutrisystem that year 2014 & slowly the weight came off. I continued to order it off & on throughout the following years but slipped back into old ways of eating fast food.     I purchased the diabetic box from WalMart. I was very unhappy to discover there were no foods for dinners. The reason was the recipes were to help me learn to eat when I finished the program. I haven't even started and already I am to learn how to eat on my own. No NO NO. I have no idea what the dinners are like so that part was a downer. Second the menus they gave me had so many items that I had to buy that I will never use again. Plus the menus were so bad to me that I am rethinking just dying fat! Plus they gave me menus for 4. I am only one so that didn't help either. For breakfast, out of 20 options they gave 3 cereal and 2 oatmeal which left 2 days for something different. BAD. To be honest, I really was really disappointed that I paid $45 for the box, over $50 for additional items and was unhappy for the whole week. I loved the shakes. I'm not sure if I will continue with the program or not. For the first week, I did not lose anything. :-(

    Nutrisystem has recently made some upgrades to their Numi tracking and journaling system and I've encountered a few glitches. The tracking of my water intake on a daily basis was not being kept in history. As of today, the problem doesn't seem to be fixed as it still showed zero on a few days I randomly checked, with other days were fine?? Also, the daily vegetable tracking seems to randomly lose its records also as I had zeros where none should have been?? I'm hoping the problems get solved soon.

    I was missing an item on my first order. Emailed Nutrisystem to replace. They sent me a order # & tracking for the replacement item. I’ve emailed several times stating that I don’t receive postal delivery USPS at my residence and yet they send it USPS. I’m still waiting for the item to be shipped via any other means except USPS. They have now told me they will send the replacement in my next months order. This is frustrating since it was nutrisystem's mistake.

    Working with NS for 2 weeks now. Just some feedback on food containers. Plastic tubs with metal "peel off" lids don't work very well. When you lift the ring and press to pull back, quite a bit of food squishes out through the lid... messy and wasteful. The paper tubs are fine, but a little more clearance inside would be great to prevent boiling over. Huge mess in the microwave. Enjoying the food! Please bring back the lemon blueberry bar (circa 2008-2009) that is similar to the apple strudel bar you have now!! Thank you!

    For the metal lids, feel free to try a can opener. We have found that sometime this is a useful tool to help get them open without all of the spill over.

    For the paper cups, feel free to add the recommended amount of water, then transfer it to a larger microwavable same bowl. This will give it some more room to boil without all of the wastefulness of the boil-over.

    I have always been an active person but I needed surgery in August and became even more sedentary because of it. I felt it was a good time to be on NS not only for the ease of my husband's meal prep but because I had already gained 6 lbs due to this injury. By the time I weighed myself October 18, about two months later, I had GAINED 10 lbs!!! When I called customer service about this, the rep picked up on the fact that for August 10 and 11, I had taken FIVE pain pills. This must have been the reason for the weight gain, according to the rep.

    On November 21, when I called NS to cancel or inquire about South Beach, another rep started off by discussing the fact I HAD BEEN ON PAIN PILLS... hence the weight gain. I went BALLISTIC!!! Rather than discussing the FACT I had gained weight on this carbohydrate-based diet while recovering from surgery on my ACHILLES, both of the NS reps place the blame on the FIVE pain pills I took. I AM DONE with the company! There could have been better, more business-like ways of handling this, but neither chose to do so.

    I won't be using the new Numi app. The changes are horrible!!! I was using the 1500 calorie Uniquely Yours plan, which is no longer available. WHY? What happened to it??     I am happy to provide you with my impressions. I also explained this in a recorded phone call to your customer service department on Monday 11/6/17 when I saw they were charging me for another $311.21 without me placing an order, or being asked what foods I may like to order. I received an email at work approximately 10/9 or 10/10/17 from what I thought was an employer (HCSC- also known as BCBS TX, IL, MT, NM, OK) based promotion for 40% off and free shipping for a one-month trial on Nutrisystem's program. This was a good opportunity to try Nutrisystem which I have thought about for a long time because of what I thought was a one-month 40% discount and free shipping period.

    I was surprised when I was not asked what foods that I would like to order, but that the month of foods would be auto-shipped. I did not see, nor did anyone email me or verbally review the disclaimer that a second month of food would be auto-shipped and charged if you did not cancel within 14 days. I did not understand that at all in my review of the initial information and would be a good thing to really assure your customers understand the terms of your agreement. Your confirmation email says to "take a minute to review the terms", however, I assure you it takes more than a minute to truly read and understand your terms of agreement.

    I received notice of another shipment and charge on 11/6/17, and my initial payment on 311.21 was 10/11/17 and did not receive delivery until late afternoon of 10/18/17, boxes unpacked that evening and started the program on 10/19/17. I did not want or need another order as still had 2 weeks food left. I am sure it is complicated to assure timely delivery to your many customers, but to bill folks $622 in one months' time - no thank you. That is beyond my budget and understanding.

    At this time, I do plan to dispute any additional charges on my credit card and verbally advised that I am not authorize any additional charges beyond the initial payment of $311.21 that I did agree to pay for my one month trial. If I had really understood that I would have to pay the discount, I never would have signed up, because I believe that is deceptive, and will let my employer group know that people who are considering Nutrisystem really need to read, review and understand the terms carefully. One question I do have… does the 14 days start when you are billed or the date you actually receive the food? It does make a difference. I appreciate the opportunity to share my impressions and concerns with you.

    Unable to use revised numi.com program. Format contains meaningless symbols; several colored icons are undefined and useless. They block the names of various entries. The entry screen is blocked out on the left by a colored section that uses up valuable space. The block has a list of words including recipes; journal; leaf; progress; etc. Make this section MUCH smaller or make it accessible from another label. I cannot use an iPad to enter data like before. The data entry form is only partially visible on an iPad. While using my desktop Mac I was totally blocked and could not log on last Monday. There was a duplication of entries from the previous day and I could not enter new data. I recommend that customers be given access to an old version so we can continue to still enter info. Once the bugs are out of the new version then that data could be transferred/combined. Or simply give customers the choice of which format they prefer.

    I had been using the previous iteration of the NuMi app (for iOS) since June as part of my weight-loss program with Nutrisystem. I have lost 30 pounds. However, about a month ago, Nutrisystem updated the app with very little advance notice. For me, I used the old version one day for breakfast in the morning, but when I went to fill-in my data for lunch, there was a whole new app staring at me. Even as a long-time and well-experience computer professional, I had a very difficult time "decoding" the app. It was so difficult, that I just ceased to use it.

    I contacted Nutrisystem, but the response was basically a "canned", form-letter style, which ticked me off. I tried again and again, no substantive assistance. Hence, I turned to Consumer Affairs. THAT got their attention. Once their Customer Service read my very detailed report, they began to address the issues and explain several of my concerns.     I am writing to express my utter disappointment with your latest version of NuMi. I found the app that was a vital tool in my loss of over 30 pounds since last June, has now become some developer’s personal game at frustrating users. I have been working with, on, building and repairing computers since 1981. I installed, used and taught thousands of software programs over these years. I’ve been using application-based cell phones since the first Blackberry. Even today, I am a consultant to small businesses and consumers on both hardware and software, from computers to cell phones. Yet, even I am utterly puzzled as to the developer’s plan.

    Coding is poorly explained and something as simple as keeping the alphabetical order of one’s “Favorites” is gone. Now, the user is required to scroll through the entire library of that category to find a particular item. I’ve used NuMi on my iPhone since the day my first order was delivered and through this past Friday, when I was at a 3-day conference away from home. However, upon my arrival home after a two hour drive, I opened NuMi to register my breakfast and lunch, only to find this new, useless app. I would rather use a 3x5 note card for each meal, snack, water, etc., than use your new app. I urge you to provide the latest revision of the old NuMi to your loyal members, for those who wish to continue using! As pleased as my wife and I have been overall with our Nutrisystem® experience since June, this leaves us with a very sour taste.

    I am so disappointed with this. You have so much promo and not enough real information about how to start. A simple set by set would be nice to have. I got all this food and now I found out I have to go buy more food??? This program doesn't need to be this complicated but navigating all the promo on the site just adds more complexity to figure out what to do next. This should be included in the welcome pack so it's not so bloody complicated to figure out what I eat next.     I was concerned that vanilla extract might contain alcohol as this is an ingredient I cannot have at all in any amount.     Horrible. Food tastes disgusting and is packed with preservatives. Nothing is good. And when I tried to cancel? They refused to help me online and made me call. And then they billed me $120 for not doing enough volume. I would recommend this to no one unless you like overpriced processed food and having someone overbill you. It does not work. You may lose weight by starving yourself because the food is so gross but then you're better off saving the money.

    I tried the Nutrisystem for the first time after ordering it online. I read the fine print but evidently missed the part about owing a penalty if I canceled after the first order and didn't order a second. This is not a good business practice if you want to have a good reputation. In fact, it should be illegal!!! So now I owe a $125.00 penalty out of my meager military retirement pay!!! I didn't request a second order because I found the food to be practically uneatable... Bland and extremely small servings. No wonder they advertise that if you follow the plan you will lose weight... Who wouldn't on that meager amount of food! It seems you can't trust any company anymore... They all are after your money.

    I ordered in January of 2017. I hated the food. It was nasty. I grit my teeth and ate the food for 3 weeks before I got sick. I contacted customer service and they told me "you cannot cancel." I went online and delayed my order every month. Changed my credit card, but the credit card company only changed the security number on the back of the card! Last month Nutrisystem charged my Discover card $99 cancellation fee. WTF. So much for satisfaction guaranteed. I not only didn't lose weight. I HATED the food and it made me sick!     I very excitedly signed up online to begin my Nutrisystem weight loss program. The food and all the information pamphlets arrived in a timely manner and I began the program. Almost 2 weeks into the program I began experiencing stomach cramping and diarrhea. I thought I had picked up a bug and continued with the Nutrisystem. My condition continued and became a bit worse. I went off the packaged meals for a day and began feeling better. Upon resuming my program, the symptoms returned. I decided it must be something in the meals. I called Nutrisystem and the representative I spoke with said they were aware of the fact that some of the additives they had to use did cause some people problems.

    She offered to upgrade my program for no additional fee, but since I did not know exactly what ingredient was causing my problem, I declined. I couldn’t justify spending another $300 when I didn’t know if that would take care of the problem. When I told her I just wanted to cancel, I was told it would cost $125 to do so. She said it was in the information I had looked at on the online site. I honestly do not remember seeing that, I could have just been excited about joining. I just feel that if there is a known problem with their product, I should not be penalized because of their problem. This has left me with a very negative feeling towards Nutrisystem.

    I subscribed to the weight loss program and must admit that I couldn't follow it right away as we had visitors from out of the country. Once they left early October, I got back on the program and followed it closely and did not lose weight, but actually gained weight! I called Customer Service and we refined my program a bit and I followed it daily and used my tracker. Another woman in my office is on the program and has had success with it.

    When I complained that not only was I NOT losing weight, but had actually gained 2 pounds, she couldn't figure out the reason. After a while, I finally lost 2 pounds for my total weight loss. I am really, really disappointed. It's difficult to stay on track and when you are disciplining yourself to remain faithful with no cheats, the reward of no weight loss is HUGE. I gave up today and will return to Jenny Craig in a week or two. I actually lost weight on that program 10 years ago and wish I wouldn't have wasted the 2 months I spent on Nutrisystem this time.

    Hardly an answer with any corrective action to be addressed. The customer should have more choices regarding how and when an order is shipped PERIOD. UPS or USPS or overnight freight. Additionally if a delay shipment pre-ordered could be an option delivery, could be tailored to a specific date so the customer would have what he wants when he wants it and you all would fill it as it was convenient for that delivery date. The turkey dinner has been an all time favorite of mine for over 3 years (still order food for maintenance of lost weight). Please don't discontinue these items. Granola cereal also not as good as before.

    After ordering the food, (I went with the more expensive option so I could choose my food), I realized that I was only getting 18 days plus 7 of the turbo which is 25 days and that the next month I would only be getting 24 days worth of food!     There are several cautions that I want to raise:

    1. Nutrisystem has a sneaky penalty for subscribers: If you purchase a 28-day supply using their discounted subscription pricing, you effectively commit to receiving at least one more order from them, or face having a $125 penalty assessed for cancelling before the second order is processed. I realized this as my order was being placed online… and that’s certainly not when you want to learn about a hidden cost.

    2. Nutrisystem now advertises and sells what they call a 28 day plan, but the reality is that they only send meals for 24 days, not 28. Why is this, you might ask? The answer is what they call a Flex Meal. Here’s what they say: “While on Nutrisystem, you’ll get to enjoy flex meals and snacks – one breakfast, one lunch, one dinner and two snacks each week on your own.” That’s an inconvenient way to describe how they short your order for 4 days worth of food on that 28-day meal plan (and yes, they are truly shorting your order – see my next point).

    3. Prices for Nutrisystem have gone way, way up and they deliver a lot less at the same time. Because I was a recurring customer starting in 2008 I have access to the orders I placed then, and can compare them to what I’m purchasing now. Here’s a comparison: Nov 2008: 4 weeks + 1 week free, male $277.99 (no discount); Nov 2011: 35 day program, male $259.99 (no discount); Aug 2013: 4 weeks + 1 week free, male $259.99 ($65 discount); Sep 2017: 4 weeks (technically 24 days), male $384.29 ($133.07 discount); Oct 2017: 4 weeks (technically 24 days), male $414.29 ($103.07 discount). That “discount” is a complete joke, because their prices have gone from roughly $7.94 per day for meals in 2008, to $17.26 per day for meals in 2017… and that’s not including the pre discounted price. That’s a 217% increase in cost.

    4. Order processing is late; often later than you’d expect. My first recent order took 1 week to process. My second recent order (keep in mind that it was a subscription/automatic order) was supposed to process 5 days ago, and is still unprocessed. At this point I will have a gap in the Nutrisystem diet because I’ve effectively run out of food from the first order. Keep in mind that my prior orders in 2008, 2011 and 2013 always processed in one day. According to their customer service, their official processing and shipping time is now 4-10 business days.

    5. Customer Service is a soothe-sayer, and they aren’t great at placating. That problem you’re contacting them about isn’t really a problem; it’s a feature of the program, or it’s their interpretation. As an example, when I contacted them about the late second order I was told “With the way our auto-delivery system works, we weren’t scheduled to begin processing you(r) order until [order date].” Silly me. I thought that with the order in their system for weeks, they could actually have planned to ship the order on the date indicated.

    6.You have to call to cancel their Auto-Delivery program. Even though you can order, delay and edit your order online, the one thing you can’t do is cancel the service online… which only makes sense if you’re going to talk someone out of cancelling the service. According to forum support topics, "How do I cancel my plan?" and "Can I customize, cancel or delay my auto-delivery order?" You MUST call to cancel the auto-delivery service. The best part? If you already paid and are due a refund, they take their sweet time (up to 8 weeks) to refund your money.

    Once my second order finally ships, I’m placing the call to cancel any future auto-delivery with Nutrisystem. Yes I’ve lost weight; but the problems of cost/value, bad customer practices and poor customer service are enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

    I signed my wife and I up for Nutrisystem 2 months ago, she only joined to help support my weight loss and get me started. The problem started when I went to cancel her account, Nutrisystem has you create an account with your email and a password but only allows you to cancel by phone. When I called to cancel her account, an account I created for her on-line with our credit card, the service rep would not cancel her account without talking to her, stating it was for security reasons. This was not true, remember I had to create an account with a password so you should be able to cancel your account after logging onto Nutrisystem with that password!

    The reason my wife was forced to get on the phone with Customer Service was so they could pressure her into continuing with the program. I was so angry that I cancelled my account as well! But only after having to explain to the rep 4 times why. Nutrisystem, you have a good product, you don't need the high pressure tactics. You lost out on a long term customer! I still have @80 lbs to lose and now I'm looking for a new company to do business with! If you use this company just be prepared to argue and fight with the customer service rep when it's time to stop.

    Nutrisystem works. I've lost over 70 lbs since January. Problem is... a couple of months or so ago they changed shipping services from UPS to FedEx. I've had problems ever since. I've lost my frozen food twice now because FedEx can't get it to me with any kind of predictability. And... if FedEx doesn't feel like making the effort then they just drop it off at the post office where it may set for a day or two before anybody realized that it is there. Great went to terrible just like that. I'm recommending to all of my friends and family to avoid Nutrisystem like the plague until they can correct their issues. Doesn't sound like they are interested in doing that. Terrible business decision.

    Ive struggled with losing weight for a number of years. I looked at several diet systems but finally settled on trying Nutrisystem because it seemed to be the closest to what would fit me. I stuck to the plan for 16 weeks and only "cheated" once or twice. However, even when I cheated I kept Nutrisystem in mind and made better choices. I lost 38 lbs by the end of those 16 weeks and have lost another 10 or 12 on my own so far. On Feb 27, 2017 I wore sz 16/18 pants and today I wear sz 8/10!!!     I called Nutrisystem to cancel my plan. The rep was very polite and took my cancellation request. I asked to have my confirmation emailed to me. Everything went smoothly. To my surprise I came home today to a soaking wet package from Nutrisystem with my dry food. I immediately called Nutrisystem and they told me that I am responsible for the wet package. I am responsible, not FedEx. I personally called FedEx and they are picking up the package tomorrow. Nutrisystem then told me that my frozen food delivery would be tomorrow. I told them that I had cancelled my plan. They told me I hadn't cancelled in time.

    When I asked why the rep hadn't let me know that when I called to cancel they told me that was my responsibility. I called FedEx and cancelled the frozen food delivery Nutrisystem told me that couldn't be done. They just didn't want to take responsibility for the shipment. I am very dissatisfied with Nutrisystem and after reading other comments I see that I am not alone.

    They auto ship at a higher rate and charge you for free items you get as a gift in initial order. Be very careful to read the fine print!!!! They will not work with you when your auto shipment you don't want arrives early. The portions are so small it's no wonder you lose weight. You basically walk around hungry all the time. Just eat your regular diet but cut portion size to feed a 2 year old and results should compare. I am not a happy customer. Make sure you go on their website to check everything. Otherwise their emails may go right to the junk folder and you too can wind up spending 325.98 for a new month!

    I have no problem with most of counselors, but customer service never notified me, until I called two weeks after, that my second payment was marked "no such acct"...     After months of watching the Nutrisystem commercials, my husband decided to try it. I placed the order on Sept 27 thinking it was a one-time charge to see if it was something he would be able to stick with. I did not realize at the time that I was being set up for an automatic charge to my debit card each month. I was surprised to log in to my bank accounting this morning, and see a charge of $376.98. I called Nutrisystem to let them know that I did not order a second shipment, only to be told I was set up for the monthly auto charge. I told them that had I known from the beginning that I was going to be set up, I would have never ordered to begin with.

    How can someone sign up for something that you are not sure it's going to work to begin with? My husband did not like the meals. It's been almost a month since our order, and I still have over 3 weeks left of food on my fridge. The customer service rep did not seem to care and told me that I will be charged an additional $125 cancellation charge to cancel. This was my first experience with Nutrisystem, and I will never purchase from them again. They are a ripoff and very deceiving. I should have read the reviews first before placing my order. Lesson has been learned. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she was not able to have a manager come to the phone. Nutrisystem is a fraud, and they do not care about you. We will never do business with them again, and will not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed with this company.

    I bought a month's order and tried it. The food is OK, but nothing you can't do for yourself in the supermarket. The surprise comes when a second month's order arrives about when you're about half-way through the first one. Try to send it back! You are told that you signed up for a minimum of two months, and if you send it back, it will cost you $125. And customer "service" is pretty nasty about it. It's in the very fine print that no one reads. So understand that to try this, you are in for over $600. They are conmen and I would not ever do business with them again.

Three days later it hasn't shipped out yet and I called and talked to another customer service rep and she said the order was still processing and had no solutions except that I should delay my shipment for next month since I haven't received all of my food yet. I'm pretty disappointed with my experience so far.

    Although the food was good, the customer service was terrible. It took twice for me to call and speak to someone about changing my plan and it was still incorrect. The last, third, conversation with a representative was very upsetting. The frozen order that I did not place was shipped and mailed to me and I was charged for it, even though the order was as a result of the second rep's doing. I was informed by the third rep that there are no refunds on the frozen orders, so I cancelled all future orders and will no longer do business with NutriSystem, nor will my mother or brother.

    I placed an order with Nutrisystem and a partial order was shipped. I've tried on numerous occasions to rectify the situation but to no avail. I was overcharged approximately $135.00 as I wasn't given the 50% coupon off my order and to add insult to injury, I did not receive my entire order. I called customer service 6 times today, count them folks SIX (6) TIMES today and finally had the issue resolved by a Joe ** from the Pennsylvania office. Thank you sir. TO NUTRISYSTEM… DOING BUSINESS SHOULDN'T BE SO DIFFICULT.

    I am irritated that I cancelled my account but because I didn't call to specify in voice that I want to cancel, my account remained active. I wrote a second email and again I am requested to call. I am forced to call, so emailing is worthless to cancel your account. Now I have to pay for another month when I requested to cancel. Nice way to get an extra month out of people. Why don't you just tell people to call because we don't accept emails??? Yes I'm extremely annoyed.

    Very upset with Nutrisystem. I have been on and off of Nutrisystem for years. I like the food and was very happy with the programs the way it was handled. In July I tried to cancel my order for a very important reason and I was told by a very rude rep that I could not, so I went ahead with the order. After that I delayed my order for thirteen weeks. I got an email stating that it was delayed till the month of December. Well, yesterday I received an order which was charged to my credit card without my knowledge. I am returning the foods that are not frozen.

    I have notified my credit card company about this matter. They will be disputing the matter and so will I. This should have not been done without me knowing. Usually I get an email telling me that the amount would be taken out for the food. But I did not receive anything telling me this. If this matter is not taken care of I will contact an attorney. This was money taken out of my account that I was not aware of. Like I said, Nutrisystem has been a big part of my nutrition, because it did work for me. But not anymore. I am very disappointed in this company because of the way I was treated after being a fairly good customer through the years. Very, very disappointed! Hope the matter can be settled in a decent way!

    I started emailing about canceling as soon as I tasted the food! They refused to cancel me until the day after my 2nd order ships so they could charge me 700$, 400 of it is for the ** shakes! Better watch them. Nowhere does it say they're going to re order shakes for 400$. I've got my attorney. After my remaining money I refused delivery and it's being sent back to sender, they've only refunded 140$ out of the 700$. I'll gladly spend whatever it take with my attorney retainer fees just to see them in court hopefully. I've filed fraud charges and emailed my attorney each email with the timeline showing that they deliberately procrastinated beyond the 2nd ship date and amazingly the day after my shipment email they canceled my membership! But think that I'm just going to sit back and let them take my money. Hell no! See your ** in claims court. I'm going welcome you to California personally. ;)

    A couple questions I'm wondering if there is any way to break up the payments into bi-weekly charges. I set up my plan for a mail came to 316$ and change. Which in my opinion is quite reasonable, I spend that and maybe more every 2 weeks on less than healthier food. Dropping that kind of cash on food I have never tried unsure of the quality and seeing mixed reviews on this site makes me even more hesitant. I also was unable to see a menu, I'm not really okay with spending another 20$ just to customize the menu. I see a few people complaining about the cancellation fees involved if you do this for 2 months after that you're clear to cancel? Or will you always be charged the 120$ to cancel regardless. I'm very interested in trying this but a little scared that I could possibly throw away a little more than 300$. Please help.

    I have had multiple incidents with shipping problems. I receive frozen food and it's thawed. Non-frozen food that never shows up. They have always reshipped both packages but after this last time I've had enough and requested a refund. I called customer service and registered my complaint and they cancelled a replacement shipment then sent me to someone else (after waiting on hold) who cancelled future shipments and my account. She then sent me to someone to get my refund (which I was told would be "no problem at all".

    I waited on hold again. Finally spoke to another lady and she indicated they could not provide a refund. That she would discuss my account with a supervisor and she would call me back. She never called back. Four days later I called customer service again and spoke to an incredibly rude man. He indicated my account had been reviewed by a supervisor and they were not going to provide a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me there were none available. I asked him to have a supervisor call me and he said he couldn't do that that they could send a "courtesy shipment" and that was all. He said he had proof of delivery of my last shipment and I asked where it shipped at which time he became very rude and defensive. We went back and forth and I finally hung up on him. I will continue to call until I speak to a supervisor but my advice is just hope you don't have any shipping problems.

    Received an order with no reading material or any guidance. Was diligent about the meals and tries to do the system with common sense. No results after about 3 weeks, I mean NO results. Contacted customer support to cancel, they tried to blame me and then they charged an additional $125 dollars to cancel before an additional $400 order. After contacting the social media customer service team, they reviewed the account and said, "Sorry but too bad we won't return the money, but you are more than welcome to contact our guidance team and start again." Sure... Live and learn, and customer service and would never recommend to anyone.

    The first time I received my shipment, it was the wrong food. It was something intended for a woman in Arkansas. I called and the customer service sent it out again. The second shipment arrived at my house and it was an order for a man in Texas. I am out of the country and can not call the 800 number. Apparently I cannot have the order resent using email, which no one has explained why that is and it does not make sense to me. I just want my correct order to be shipped to my house. I am very frustrated.

I am a new customer and received my box of food this week and I cannot start the plan due to no menu included with my food. When I contact support last night I asked for a menu to be sent and as you see below they say they have attached it and there is nothing attached. I clicked on the links but they are NOT what I want.     After filing a complaint to consumer affairs about Nutrisystem on 10/4/17 Nutrisystem customer services did the right thing by me, they sent me a Fedex label (no charge to me) I boxed up all non frozen foods the rest of frozen foods i had left i got to keep or digard. Once the package was called in by me to Fedex and was picked up from my house that same day i emailed Nutrisystem customer service letting them know it was on it's way to them as requested. I checked my credit card and they credited me the whole amount of $388.13. Thank you customer service.

You have to also follow their powerfuel servings that's all in portion control which the sales rep failed to mention and they fail to mention on their tv ads and internet. Plus if you cancel you have pay $20 to ship the food back to them... Can you say this fraud...I can. Never again.

    Recently I ordered a one month trial for my wife. The order totaled $336.98. She was not happy with the quality of the food so she asked me to cancel any further deliveries. I contacted the company and was told that since I was given a discount on the first month (which was unknown to me) I would be charged another $125.00 to cancel. I guess that since I did not continue with a second month they were now taking their discount back. To me that's a terrible way to penalize those that try the company. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this company based on my horrible experience.

    I canceled my program on August 3rd. They gave me a 30% discount to take one last order which I agreed to do. They transferred me over to a gentleman who took care of this as well as canceling my account of all future shipments. Prior to terminating the call, I asked the gentleman if there was anything else I needed to do to make sure that I would not receive additional shipments. His response was no, and the order where I received my 30% discount would be the last order I would receive.

    On October 2nd I received a voice mail from Nutrisystem notifying me of another shipment which had already left. I was obviously very angry. I told them to reverse the shipment. They said they could not but would issue me a RMA for the dried goods to return. They said they could not issue an RMA for the frozen goods. I told them I was not going to pay for any of it. I am going to accept the dried goods shipment and return it to them via the RMA they give me. I told them I would not accept the frozen goods shipment. I also told them that I was filing a complaint with you and would be processing a dispute with my credit card company. On October 3rd, I filed this dispute with my credit card company and they have issue a hold on the payment until the dispute is resolved. I believe Nutrisystem is running a scam.

    UPDATED ON 10/24/2017: I am pleased with the final resolution; however, I am not pleased with the amount of time and effort it took get the issue resolved.

    I ordered Nutrisystem last week. It arrived late Friday and I was not informed until late Saturday that it had arrived. So the entire frozen box was thawed and all the meat products were soft and spongy. Then, I immediately noticed that three of the four shake orders were not included (only 7 chocolate, not 14 and none of the vanilla). Okay, got online, discussed that glaringly obvious issue, new items coming. This morning, I went down to take an actual inventory. I have severe allergic reactions to foods, so this needed to be right. I ordered the custom order because of that issue.

    Much to my surprise, NOT ONE OF THE DRY FOOD ITEMS WAS CORRECT!!! NOT ONE!!! It's like I received an order that belonged to someone else! I contacted the online chat and was told to make an inventory of only the number of items that were wrong (not the specific items). I was told that the warehouse would just substitute items that were out of stock. So then, what Ross was saying is that the entire order is out of stock??? So what? The warehouse staff just throw in a bunch of bars and call it a day? Seriously??? Who are you employing at this warehouse of yours?

    So basically, I'll die if I eat items that were sent to me. Had I not looked closely, this could very well have happened! People order the custom order for reasons other than being overly picky! I shouldn't be expected to have to expose my medical history with a random customer service rep just to get my order correct! This is the worst "custom" service I think I've ever encountered!

    The food is delicious! However, I just wanted to try the program for a month. I was told that I should have read the fine lines that committed me to two shipments! I guess I should have read the fine lines! I looked but hard to find. 14 days to cancel, but I liked the products but also just wanted it for 30 days as the T.V. commercial says! I feel tricked!     Your staff has been wonderful, I am sick of evaluating them. I am so sick from these products. It is not the alcohol sugars or the fibers, all of which I have had many times. I am taking ** within 2 weeks of starting them, now added ** as well. The tomato bases were gut destroying, as well as the spicy products. The meatloaf was awful. I am half Italian and eat tomato products all the time and enjoy spicy food, just not yours. I would like to throw all of this away, but I have to get shipment 2 or spend more money. For a diabetic plan, there are a lot of carbs. I am living in the bathroom. I am at wit's end. I could add much more, but these are my biggest problems. I do not have a virus and don't know when I have been this nauseated. I dread more coming.

    Your ads are deceptive. The 13 lbs is not real for anyone that isn't on the regular plan, and I tried to tell them that I am taking precautions not to have Type 2 diabetes and have a normal Hgb A1c. I somehow don't think this would change much of the food. I did not expect to have to go grocery shopping, never in the ads. The first thing I did was open the box and sort the food. The first counselor was rude, but she was the only one. I am sick of the minuscule eval after every call. Nothing evaluates the program, just the person and their delivery of the call and program, not the program itself. I would never do this program, again.

    Honestly, I'm really disappointed. I called to cancel my account and I was told that I have to pay $150 fee. I found out I have hypothyroidism which is why I wasn't losing weight. It had nothing to do with the program. So why should I pay $150 fee for a product that will not solve my weight issue and requires ** prescription? I think that's a terrible thing to hold your customers to. I have spoken to a few customer service reps with the same response. I owe $150 for a product I don’t want. I wasn’t even aware that you have to order from them twice within 60 days! I will never recommend them to family or friends after this.

    When I contacted Nutrisystem through Facebook, they made an “offer”. “We are not able to outright waive the fee for discontinuing early, but are able to offer an alternative. If you would like to make an A La Carte order of at least $200, we can waive the $150 fee. This way, you are getting foods for the price you pay. You can choose any of your favorites, including frozen foods. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this option. We would have to call out to you because we would have to place the order and discontinue the Auto-Delivery over the phone. If you would like to take advantage of the offer, please include a phone number and the best time to reach you. -The Nutrisystem Social Care Team” Why would I pay them $200 for food that won’t help me lose weight and that I don’t want? Absolute garbage.

I haven't heard from the company since then. Nothing. I sent them a private message 10/4 and still no response from the Nutrisystem. I saw that my review is now being disputed by them. (And factual basis uncertain is now on my first review?!) They are able to call me, email me or reach out via Facebook & they haven't.

    I have reached out previously with this company with no resolve, which is why I'm here, writing this. I'm upset with them not being more transparent with the set up of the auto-ship program & being forced to pay for their product, (which is 2 shipments in 60 days before you can officially cancel your account with them) even if the product doesn't benefit you, it doesn't matter. This is a horrible business practice. Nobody should be forced to pay for something that they don't want, EVER. I find this so disheartening. I refuse to have a factual basis uncertain on my review again.

    I have chat and called several times. The chat group kept me 10-13 min before responding. Then it got disconnected. I have waited for 15-45 min on the phone. I have lost half the food order due to hurricane Irma. I was asking for help and I was ignored and tossed from one person to another.     I want to say that the Nutrisystem program worked for me. I lost 12 pounds in the first 6 weeks and am thrilled. The most important thing that I learned from the program was "how" to eat and "when" to eat (two things that I wasn't doing well prior to the program). But, it does become expensive after a time and our budget just does not stretch for this added expense. I will rejoin the program at a later date just to keep up with the progress. I encourage anyone struggling with excess weight to at least give the program a try (A friend encouraged me to join and I appreciate her support).

    Received an email from them about 45% off for 4 weeks (28 days of meals). When I made the order it only gives meals for 24 days. Their price per day was $10.12 and they charged me $285 but was only going to send meal for 24 days. Also, the first week of order contain Pork/Ham product which is forbidden in my religion. After my order I called and found out that they don't send meal for 28 days although the advertisement says it is for 28 days and I got two different story from two different reps.

    Bottomline was that they don't send meals for 28 days. I asked to replace Ham/Pork products and both reps refuse to do it until I receive the order and then request for replacement, One rep said that once I receive the order, I don't start my plan and call for replacement and once I receive the replacement then I start my plan. Most importantly, both reps were quick to cancel my order when I started asking questions. I don't know about the plan but I know for sure that their advertisement is false and extremely poor customer service.

    Updated on 10/06/2017: Here is last response and they didn't care to respond because they know their business practice. Thank you for your response but question remains: 1. You already know that there are items in your turbo takeoff are prohibited in certain religion and you already know that the customer would not eat them, yet, you would not change it when shipping the item. 2. There is no flex meals - Ad specifically said that we will get meal for 28 days, $10.12/day and charged $280+ - It is that simple. 3. In your response you tried to confuse customer about flex meal but in reality, you were sending only 24 days of meal and instead of charging $240+, you are charging $280+. 4. There no such thin mentioned in your ad that customer will get 24 days of meal. It was "28 days of meal" with $10.12/day.

    Please do not try to confuse people - Be honest and transparent. I humbly request that do not insult people's intelligence. We know that you are in a business to make money but be ethical in your practice, that's all I am asking. Thank you.

    This past week, I received a QVC Nutrisystem order gift which came with Fast 5 plan. A Fast 5 tracker was not included as indicated on the packing list. I called the Nutrisystem number this morning, pressed the corresponding number for a QVC order. The woman asked me for my account number but I don't have one since it was a gift. She asked me for the order number which starts with a "c". The only order number showing on the packing list started with the number 5. When I gave her that number, she was not very kind.

    She asked, in an unfriendly way, if it was Nutrisystem order number and I wasn't sure and told her it came from QVC. Her response, quite rudely, was "I can't help you with a QVC order." She did then ask what I needed and I said the Fast 5 Tracker. She said she would transfer me to a counselor. She did and the counselor was very friendly and helpful. As a new customer, who is a little nervous and uncertain about starting a new program, having that woman as my first point of contact with your program was really disappointing.

    Two months ago I placed an order for a 30 day supply of Nutrisystem's Basic Weight Loss Package. I had spoken to a client who had experienced successful weight loss on the program and enjoyed the food. I decided to give it a try. I received their one month supply of meals and began following the regimen. The food wasn't bad and the simplicity of eating a meal that was nutritious and portion controlled helped me get back on the road to a more healthy lifestyle.

    All along I had planned to limit my commitment to the one month supply. When I received an email stating that my next shipment would be arriving in a few days, I immediately placed a phone call to cancel my order. To my disappointment and dismay, the representative I spoke with was not the least bit empathic to my explanation that I intended to select the 30 day supply. She told me that there were two buttons to choose from on my initial order and I chose the one that stated "auto delivery". She was incorrect as there is only ONE button...

    She suggested I speak with one of their a nutritionists about revising my order or accept the shipment, then cancel the account for the following month at no charge. I explained I hadn't even finished the 30 day supply in 45 days, why would I want another 30 day supply. She said it was their policy that because I had not cancelled within the first 14 days after my original shipment, I would have to pay a penalty fee of $125. WHAT! My anger was beyond words!

    I don't recommend ordering online! Admittedly, I did not read their terms and conditions as carefully as I should have. I just had overall confidence in Nutrisystem and that they would put the consumer first. As it turns out, they made their profit on the initial order, plus a nice cancellation fee off me. However, their treatment has resulted in a lost customer, for good! So, beware of auto delivery unless you ensure you cancel before the 14 day trial period runs out. I was/ am SO disappointed by the lack of customer service and the representative that was so matter of fact. I have shared this story with my friend who was using Nutrisystem and others. This isn't a company I would recommend for a weight loss program.

    I initially placed the order with Nutrisystem a little over month ago and got the food and tried it out. It was okay, initially. When the food came half of my frozen items were thawed out so I had to call for a replacement. Then after this month passed, I kept getting emails about a second order. I continued getting email after email about another order and I kept telling them to cancel it especially after the hurricane my area was flooded so I couldn't do anything with the food. My original order was already destroyed and now they were sending another one. I don't have enough money in bank account nor a place to put the food.

    I tried calling a representative (their cancellation process is purposely difficult so people don't cancel) and explained my issue and they said they will cancel and transfer me but they hung up on me. Then I got an email that my order was shipped. So I called again, this time I again explained my story but the representative kept telling me that you have to buy $200 worth of food or else we will charge $125 and I told her I can't do anything with the food, I can't do anything with it. I asked for a manager but she told me they were in a meeting but she spoke to one and she claimed they said the same thing. In any case, I would expect a company like nutrisystem would be courteous to people affected by the hurricane but they only care that people buy their food.

    On September 11, 2017, I took a bit from the Nutrisystem carrot cake. To my disgust and horror, I soon realized I was chewing on mold. It's not noticeable at first since it was a light fuzz covering one end (the end I bit into). Fortunately my taste buds work - and I felt a burning sensation at the back of my throat. I immediately notified Nutrisystem on their online chat line.

    Needless to say, this is totally unsatisfactory. I have since located another person who received a moldy cake. People with mold allergies could be seriously hurt by consuming this product. I do not believe Nutrisystem intends to recall this product or warn others. As a follow-up, Nutrisystem offered me $20 and then $100. They don't seem to take this at all seriously nor do they appreciate the difference between just finding a moldy product and actually consuming it.

    I decided to try Nutrisystem during the time I'd be home after surgery, even though it's fairly expensive. I did it for 2 months. I lost ZERO pounds, not even 1/2 a pound. I know I did everything right and I did not cheat. I'm not even close to what would be considered obese. I only wanted to get about 15- 20 pounds off total. I received melted, crappy, smashed, flat, frozen items and some items that were out of their packages loose in the container (they did replace those) but, bottom line is when I called to cancel, I said because it did not work. I was never asked why or given any option for any kind of refund (as stated on TV). I was only asked if I wanted to talk to a weight loss consultant. I said NO!     I enjoy just about all the entrees Nutrisystem has except for the ones that come with their own bread (pizza, flatbread pizza, pot pies). The bread is awful and has the consistency of cardboard.     The food was ok. Was very light snacks. Felt like I was going to pass out so I cancelled my account on 8/24/17. Lady over phone said I should be receiving refund in the next 14 business days. Now it is 9/4/17 no refund and the most crazy part is on 9/1/17 They took out an additional 146 out of my account because I made split payments. 146 when I sign up and additional 146 on the first but I cancelled on 8/24/17! So far nobody is willing to give refund until they receive the package! I told them, "I understand so what about my 146 that you took out my account when I didn't even authorize the transaction because I cancelled"... still same answer. "It will take 14 business days after we receive the package." I don't recommend this company to anyone. It's been straight nightmare!

    This program is not for everyone... Some people start losing weight right away but for some it's impossible. I discovered I had a hormonal imbalance after ordering the program. I understand that is not their fault. Doctor advised me that I will not be able to lose weight until I deal with this hormonal issue. But what I cannot understand and accept is that they punish you for trying to get out of the program. In less than a month I explained to them that the program was not working for me. And their response was that they were going to charge me $125 cancellation fee. I think this is outrageous. They have a money back warranty but it's only for 14 days. I was planning on continuing with the program after controlling my hormones but because of their action I will never ever want to deal with this company again.

    Plus to tell you the truth... I was not thrill with the food. It's a bunch of junk food. Too many preservatives and unknown additives. I think it's more healthy if you cook your own food and control the portions. It's going to be much cheaper. Don't let them fool you. They know that there is a large amount of people that cancel the program after the first month but they want to get a big chunk of money at the beginning when you are excited about the program. I don't recommend this program to anyone.

    I used your product 3 months and lost 37 pounds. I was pleased. Then I tried to cancel my order. I wrote via 3 email attempts and asked them to cancel my account. They would not do it. I finally called and was talked to death. I gave up and had them delay my order for three months. Three months past and I tried several time again to cancel my account via email. They wouldn't do it.

    My last email to you said: "You are not listening. I don't want to talk to anyone. You call 1-800-585-5483 and select Option 1 and then Option 5. Then you wait on the phone and tell them I quit. It seems rather simple to me. Or you can let them send the food and try to use the credit card number they have which will not work." They finally canceled my account. Why wasn't my requested done the first time. When your customer asks for a cancellation just do it. Even though your product worked well, I will not recommend dealing with your company. It is a hassle. You were not customer friendly at all.

    Having missed the 14-day cancellation period I was being charged the $125 fee which I had saved on initial delivery. I was not very pleased with this. Today I received a call from Nutrisystem. They are refunding that $125. I told the gentleman that it just wasn't a good time to be spending this amount of money in Nutrisystem and then to owe $125 for cancellation was ridiculous. Anyway, they say they will refund the money. When I receive that refund I will have no problem increasing this rating further.

    I signed on to this program in May. After two deliveries, I decided to discontinue the program for two reasons, only one of which I'll discuss here. I phoned and spoke to one of the "counselors," who was very polite and professional. When I explained the two reasons for my decision, he asked me if he could cancel the account but also put a reminder on the account to check back with me in two months for possible renewal, to which I agreed. In response to one of the two reasons I explained, he offered to send me some replacement items, to which I also agreed. The replacement items were the snack bars, chocolate candy, and cookies, all of which had melted during shipping, due to the brutal heat. I thought that was fair.

    A few days later, I received a small box, inside of which were some snack bars and the chocolate candy. The problem was that, this time the candy was more badly melted than the first shipment. In fact, I was so irritated that I put the packet of candy in a box, carefully packed it so that it would be protected, and sent it to Nutrisystem with a note. The candy had melted so that it was no longer individual pieces of candy. It was just one melted together disc of chocolate. My note asked, "Exactly how did you expect me to eat this?" I never heard a word of reply. Not an apology, and certainly not an offer to replace the congealed mess they sent me. I just decided to let it go and move on.

    Last night, I came home from work to find two boxes of Nutrisystem food at my front gate! Oh, no! I cancelled this order, and of course the reasons I know without fail that they got my cancellation notification is the fact that they sent me the replacement of the snack bars and candy. Obviously, the person with whom I spoke never bothered to put in the cancellation, even after a long discussion about why I was cancelling, the least important of the two reasons being the melted goodies. Now I'm mad. I called last night to protest and was told that they "had no record" of my cancellation.

    I don't believe that for one minute. I MIGHT have bought their denial that I had cancelled, were it not for the fact that it was the same conversation when I initially called to cancel that prompted the shipment of the replacement items (that were worse than the items they were supposed to replace). If they had that part of the conversation, they had both parts of the conversation. If they implemented one action item (shipping the replacement order), then they should have implemented the other part (cancelling further deliveries). If Nutrisystem thinks my credit card is their piggy bank, they best think again.

    I ordered NutriSystem because they had a great promotion and a friend recommended it with a $30 coupon. So I decided to try it. Approximately 3 to 4 days into the Turbo week I felt weak, I starting losing sensation in my feet, I was super tired and I was strictly following the diet. I called a counselor who told me to stop Turbo Week immediately as it is not for people who do intense exercise. I exercise 8 to 10 times per week including intense boot camp classes 6 days a week. I was told to add more protein and more calories. I had to spend so much more on groceries to compensate for what was missing in NutriSystem that it wasn't worth it. Not only that but after 3 weeks I did not lose one pound.

    Hey I gave a try it did not work, I called to cancel. You are not able to cancel on their website or by email, it took 5 calls to get through. The customer service rep was very rude. I received a charge to my account for $125 cancellation fee. I called the company to have this reversed. They refused. I then asked if they could give me store credit in the amount because I can't understand losing $400 total on a system that does not even work. She was extremely rude, and said they didn't owe me anything because I got a discount from my friend and a discount on delivery.

    Well okay I can pay for delivery but I shouldn't have to reimburse a $30 coupon or pay a $125 cancellation fee. I was very disappointed with how unprofessional the customer service rep was. I do not recommend NutriSystem. False Advertising - Not for everyone. You Do Not Lose Weight. Makes you sick and weak. Two of my chocolate muffins had mold in them, one blueberry muffin tasted moldy. Rude Customer Service.

    I ordered Nutrisystem and was very frustrated that they did not provide me with a menu of what to eat! They sent me a little book to try and figure it myself and I continued to ask for help but the people who work on the phone don't even know anything about their product. They never informed me about the cancelation fee (which is written in small print that you would have to use a magnifying glass to view). They use the autoship program which is about trapping you into this program. The tactics they use are bait and switch in the TV ad. Shame on Marie Osmond who must be hard up for money. The company is just using her to promote Nutrisystem and I thought she was better than that!

    The food gets old quick. It all tastes the same. Would order food that wasn't pasta and always get pasta. Could never get through to customer service. Lost very little weight and I stuck to it perfectly. It's expensive and you will have to spend more money on all the extra things they wanted you to eat. I thought it sucked and had to stop because I just couldn't eat their awful food anymore.

    I did better dieting on my own. I lost ten lbs on it then lost thirty lbs doing it myself. Eating a low fat and low carb diet spending half of what they charged. Learn to eat healthy on your own and walk. You will do better. Learn little tricks when it comes to eating on your own like cutting the crust off of bread. Use a half slice of cheese on a sandwich. Use fat free salad dressing as a dip, use bowls instead of holding onto a bag when snacking. Use a tiny bit of a butter substitute on things. Only use half a bun when eating a burger. You can hold it from the bottom.

    There are so many ways to cut out carbs and fat and eat food you like. If you want pasta fill up a small bowl. If you want pizza pull off half the cheese and use a napkin and pat it down to absorb extra fat. There are so many ways to turn your own food into lower fat and carbs. Learn to read labels. You can use it to get started but dont rely on it for months. I have a much wider selection of food I eat now. I went from a size 12 to a 6 doing it myself. I found all new foods I liked and stuck to portion control. Walk a little and you will lose weight. I also bring my own salad dressing to restaurants.

    The 3 food items I have tried are really horrible. The plan and or menu is not laid out anywhere in a manner that can be comprehended without considerable searching. The advertisement indicates 1 month worth of food but it appears to be a 24 day supply of meals. The bulk of what I received is just granola type bars for most of the breakfast and lunches. When my order was delivered it was dropped on the front step in the hot sun, don't know for how long? Don't know if the food needs to be refrigerated? I had requested notification when delivered, never received one.

    Just to let you know what I like and what I don't like: I do like the frozen foods in particular (except the pizzas and the wraps). Of the dry variety, I am not a fan of cookies but like the bars. On your lunch menu, I won't order the food in the little cans with the pull lids because I have trouble opening them, due to arthritis in my hands. (I am 80 years of age.) As to CS: the few times, I called, I had mixed experiences. Two of the individuals were very nice and helpful. However, the first call that I made was answered by a grumpy, not very friendly person. Overall, I like Nutrisystem's concept.

    Everyone with whom I spoke at Nutrisystem over several weeks were polite and well trained including their counselors. OTOH, I was very disappointed in Nutrisystem. I provided them with detailed, easy-to-follow, Excel Spreadsheets for feedback and to prove I followed their plan exactly. I rated each of their foods on my taste test scale of 1-10 and noted their Weight Watchers' point values yadda yadda yadda... I lost 4# the first "strict-intake" Turbo Takeoff week and nothing the second week following their plan religiously. The food was not great = understatement. It was NOT like their TV & online advertising or most of the photos on the food packages. Even my husband commented on Nutrisystem shortcomings as he saw 'em. His favorite word for describing their pre-packaged food was "cardboard."

    It is very EXPENSIVE... especially in light of what you do and do not get. You do get good telephone support. You do NOT get very much tasty food which makes it psychologically more difficult to adhere to their diet. Side Note: I do not enjoy cooking and so the pre-packaged meals appealed to me. I am returning to Weight Watchers which I followed for three years with success AND eating everyday foods I enjoyed. i.e. Most Lean Cuisines are more appetizing and better tasting than most of the Nutrisystem foods I received. Nutrisystem reply to my cancellation and "courtesy email feedback" sounded canned, impersonal and I certainly did not think they were taking my feedback seriously or truly appreciative of my efforts on the diet AND feedback provided. DISAPPOINTING.

    I've had problems tracking my non frozen order since receiving an email from Nutrisystem on Monday that it was shipped. Your response was that it's en route & gave me a tracking number. The number goes to USPS but gives no information whatsoever. With hurricane Harvey headed our way, I would've appreciated knowing to look for the order this weekend??? Or next week… Something. So I am dissatisfied with your response.

    Had received two emails indicating I had an order going out on 8/25/17 and if I wanted to change it that could be done until 8/24/17. I logged into my account and it indicated there was no order to review or change. I didn't see a customer service dept to contact so I sent an email to the counselor even though this may not have been their area of concern. However I received a response and a solution to my problem promptly. I was able to review the order and was satisfied there was no change necessary.     I appreciate receiving the email and especially the directions for following the Nutrisystem program. I understand I am supposed to have 3PF, 1SC, 4 vegetables, and 4 entrees (breakfast, lunch, and dinner followed with a snack 2-3 hours later). Getting started on the program was difficult. When placing my order I asked the individual assisting me to please not send any items containing peanuts or peanut butter. I am not allergic to peanuts or peanut butter but they do bring on terrible migraines. When I received the order 7 NutriCrush PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE BARS were included. I called and was told replacements would be sent. I received replacement bars, Fudge Graham bars, one week later just as I was beginning my second week without hardly losing any weight and didn't fully understand the pfs/sc.

    Since discussing this with one of the counselors, who was very helpful, I now understand the pfs and sc, but, I don't understand when to have the fudge graham bars (replacement bars for the Nutricrush peanut butter bars and I don't know when to have the chocolate Turbo shakes which I love). Any assistance you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

    I have been using Nutrisystem to lose a few pounds on and off for years. I have no problem with their non-frozen meals. But last time I ordered I decided to get over 20 frozen breakfasts and lunches. They taste like cardboard, no kidding! I tried salsa, Tabasco, mustard but still yuck! I had 15 left in my freezer and I was going to throw them out. I called CS at Nutrisystem and asked if I could get a refund or credit if I sent the remaining 15 back, NOPE! They should stand behind their food, even if it is perishable. They lost my business!

    At no time did I sign up for auto ship. You guys automatically sign someone up for auto ship without their knowledge. I saw no checkbox to ask if I wanted auto ship nor did I check the box. Very unethical practice as the consumer has no idea this has been initiated then you ship items out and expect them to pay based on your terms and conditions. If a consumer doesn't sign up for auto ship why should they have to honor it? I didn't order this last order. Nor am I gong to keep it. Then when you ship them the items that you signed them up for you want to charge them $125 cancellation fee and a return label... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

    I have contact American Express and informed them of what you have done. You are blocked from any further business with me or deducting money from my account. I called your customer service adviser who was anything but helpful and polite. Clearly someone who doesn't give a toss about your 1 time client or a repeat client with that attitude. Your practices are unethical and deceitful.

    I have to say that I am a little disappointed with the length of time that it is taking to receive my order. I originally placed an order for both myself and my husband August 15, 2017. My husband received his dry foods in three days, I received mine in six days. My credit card was charged at that time. It has been eight days (six days after my credit card was charged in full) and my order for the frozen portion has not even been shipped yet. And now since it is already Wednesday, I expect that I will not receive my order until the following Monday, an additional five days. This will be almost two weeks from the day that I made the decision to try Nutrisystem. I'm afraid my desire to try this system is fading. I expected prompter service.

    Most of chocolate items, bars, choc pretzels were melted. I picked box at front door when delivered. This happened last order also. Very bad presentation. Also called in on Chat, second person after first cut off said nothing they could do just put in refrigerator. I told him I would get an attorney, great class action suit because others have same problem. Next agent on chat cut me off. Bad Experience. Finally one indicated to give them a list, he said it would take too long to pull up past order, Wow!!! A little lazy. JUST LOOK UP CHAT RECORDS.

    What a runaround! I contacted South Beach people and the response I got was to forward an email when the 10 days were past. I did and got a reply that it didn't belong to the email he gave me and I needed to contact South Beach!! I just want the South Beach emails to go away!
