    Nutrisystem sends me an email saying sign up for NuMi and get a pack of free desserts...I sign up, but no mention of desserts. Right on the screen of NuMi it has a chat icon, I click and ask the same question. They say, "Oh sorry. We cannot help you with that!" So far my shipment was missing items, I have sat on hold with your company for 30+ minutes and got nowhere. I have sent emails and get reply that say, "Sorry. We have high volume of emails and will get back to you in 5-7 days!" Very disappointing and I may just ask for money back at end of two weeks. This is not what is advertised. And all I am is bombarded with emails to "buy" more stuff, as if the $260 I spent so far is not enough. Especially when it was shipped with items missing!

    Some of the food I ordered was very stale and inedible! This carrot cake had mold growing on it!!! I was not happy about spending $300 for food that was inedible! I have talked with Nutrisystem but I really am dissatisfied and would think you might replace the whole order.

    When I am on Nutrisystem, your service is really good. I can email customer service and get responses back quickly. Customer service is very important. I also like the coupons that are offered and try to take advantage of them. I stopped ordering Nutrisystem a few months back but I suspect I will order again in the future. Recently I did email a question and did not get a response back. That was disappointing.

    Nutrisystem has lied to me repeatedly about when I would receive my second shipment. I have not been on my diet in a week waiting for a shipment. First shipment came then they fall flat on their face for the second one. Then when you call they act like they don't care. Use another company.

    I ordered Nutrisystem because I wanted to lose about 25lbs and the idea of meals that were prepackaged was very appealing. When I received the food I was less than impressed. None of the food is actually healthy or good tasting. The weight loss is because the portions of unhealthy food are tiny. I found myself never feeling full and always hungry within a very short time after eating. The food is full of preservatives and there is nothing healthy about it.

    When I called customer service to cancel the representative was awful. The representative told me that I would have to place a minimum $200 a la carte order or pay a $125 cancellation fee. She was rude and explained that if I had happened to click on the link about auto delivery I would have seen the fine print about the cancellation fees. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor or anyone that could resolve my issue, or even speak to me about it. The option was to pay the fees or accept the next order of junk food.

    I have never found a company before this that would not at least let you speak to a supervisor and was so unwilling to help cancel an order when you are completely dissatisfied with the product. The fine print on the fees is hidden in the ordering process and you will never even see it if you don't click the right buttons. Customer service is of no help and is extremely rude. The company makes a lot of money off of their smoke in mirrors policy and I would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone. Please consider the terrible product, awful customer service and hidden fees before you purchase Nutrisystem.

    My order sheet said I had gotten the eating out guide but it was not in there. I called and the lady said she would send it to me, two weeks later I called and said I had not gotten it so the Matthew said ya'll don't have hard copies of the book anymore so he emailed it to me. It won't open. So I am still stuck, so I will just cancel my subscription to ya'll and go elsewhere since you are too cheap to give me a eating out guide and have dishonest people.

    It is extremely difficult to cancel service. I have called, tried to chat, sent emails and the process is extremely frustrating. I have no hold time when placing an order but when I tried to cancel I was put thru ridiculous process. I am very disappointed with this manipulation.

    Nutrisystem food is very low quality. Serving sizes are generic so you won't receive proper nutrition. Low protein/high carb food is designed to save Nutrisystem money while you get short-changed on both value and proper nutrition. An example is the mashed potato and turkey medallions "dinner" that is a very small portion of low-budget, TV dinner-like corporate-imitation-food. Many NS "meals" were of similar low quality. When I say low quality I am referring to the type of product that really is not even considered to be real food. It is just some corporate version of giving you the cheapest, high carb junk that they can while they charge you premium money to boost their corporate profits.

    Most of your money will be spent on endless amounts of packaging and delivery along with promotional materials and marketing-related schemes that NS seeks to benefit from while you the customer are short-changed. The NS "snacks" are designed to keep you eating low quality food like cookies, brownies, and pies that probably make some people think that NS food does not taste that bad. The truth is the snacks are okay in taste, but they are horrible for a diet and they don't help the actual "food" to not taste like the low-quality garbage that it actually is. NS is a scam designed to rip you off.

    Instead of starving yourself with low-quality, imitation food from NS, just save your money and go to the grocery store and buy some quality ingredients to make your own healthy foods. This method is far healthier, much cheaper, and you can avoid having some sleazy corporation manipulate you to steal your money away from you. NS is a rip-off.

    Don't even think about trying to quit NS. Nowhere on the NS website will you find any button, direction, choice, or information on how to cancel your next auto-delivery from NS. What's that? You didn't choose auto-delivery when you signed up for your first trial order of NS? Yes, you did. In fact, the scammers at NS choose this auto-delivery option for you and there is no choice or option to cancel auto-delivery. So in a few short weeks your checking account will have another charge debited for nearly $500 without your approval even being necessary.

    The website has no place for you to cancel your upcoming orders. So waste as much of your valuable time as you want searching for the opt-out or cancel button on the NS site, you won't find it. Try calling NS to cancel and you will be routed through the time-wasting, sales gauntlet of NS customer DIS-service. Finally get a customer sales rep on the phone after you have just wasted so much time on the worthless sales site, and the CSR will attempt to manipulate you, dissuade you from canceling, argue with you, and not honor your multiple requests to cancel. Worse than visiting a sleazy used car lot.

    The food is garbage, the cost is not appropriate for what NS gives you since you will pay a fortune for cheap, low-budget, nasty-tasting, imitation food from a corporation that believes in cheating its customers with marketing. Try to quit this sleazy, scammer operation and they will not let you quit. Seriously, after several calls and a few emails I am still unable to quit the bogus NS program as of this writing.

    As I watch the hours and minutes tick down until my next unwanted load of NS garbage that is on auto-delivery I am stressing that they are going to stick me with another expensive charge of almost $500 that I won't get back. Your bank will tell you that you have to deal with the merchant. NS will tell you that the reason that you are fat is that you won't stick with a diet plan. It is not important what you want since you only exist to pay NS your hard-earned money while they cheat, scam, and manipulate you at every turn.

    If you have both time and money to waste and enjoy eating unhealthy, garbage-tasting, corporate imitation stuff that is supposed to be food, then give Nutrisystem your account information and become a customer. What a disaster. The only upside is that this has motivated me to get to the grocery store last night and buy some veggies, fruits, nuts, and lean protein. I am mixing this quality food in with the garbage carbs that NS has sent to my home. It is cheaper, healthier, and tastier to just buy all of your own ingredients. Nutrisystem is a scam that should be avoided.

    I was able to resolve this issue with a different very helpful customer service representative. She explained the Auto-Delivery program was only for 2 months, helped me with my second order and most importantly, refunded my $125.00 "Cancellation fee." A manager had also contacted me to ensure the issue was resolved. The food is good and I am losing weight, so I am a happy customer!

Nowhere visible on the website did it say I was signing up for auto delivery and would be charged this every month. On the order, form in the smallest print possible, it states I was in the auto delivery program. I called the number to cancel the next order, and they charged me $125.00 cancellation fee! Robbery!!! Nowhere does it state there was a cancellation fee and I never agreed to this charge.

    I sent an email asking to discontinue my ordering, and I received the following response: "We do require that you contact a Program Consultant at 1-800-585-5483, option 2 followed by option 5, to provide a verbal confirmation. Representatives are available from 7am – midnight EST every day of the week. We look forward to hearing from you soon." So, now I am on hold with Program Consultant at 1-800-585-5483, option 2 followed by option 5, and the announcement stated that the time on hold will be greater than 10 minutes. I feel that this is too long to cancel my account. Is this step absolutely necessary? It feels like a tactic to delay the cancellation. There should be an option to cancel online, since that is the way that I joined, and I have never had to talk with a representative to pay or get food.

    I have been with this program 1 month and will do a 2nd month. It works, but like others' reviews they are not upfront with their advertising. The first month had 28 days worth of food. 2nd only 24, but no reduction in price. Fortunately I found a coupon at Costco to reduce the cost some. I will not order a 3rd month. If you received the original 28 day program It would worth it maybe.

    I understand their Flex Plan system which is fine, but if they reduce the days' supply of food from 28 to 24 and keep the same price they are ripping people off. Many reviews show the same thing. Too bad it is good food and does work if you stick with it, but I hate being taken advantage of. Also if you don't order the 2nd month and pay for it, or cancel they charge you 125.00. So if you are planning to use this product be aware you will need to pay for at least the 2 months and lose 4 days worth of food the 2nd month for the same cost. I may be wrong, but since so many have complained about this, even those who have used it for a long time, I don't think I am wrong. Good Luck.

    Nutrisystem offers the worst experience for customer service. They give you the runaround when it comes to disputing their charges. I was going to stop my subscription after my first month but the representative that I spoke with offered me the price of $278.00 and I decided to stay with the program. Well needless to say, I was charged $350.00. The representative I spoke to today, informed me there was nothing he could do. I asked to talk to his supervisor and informed me that his supervisor was unavailable. He could connect me to his supervisor voicemail. Worst Customer Service Experience At Its Best!!!! Rip Off!!!

    I followed the program without exception. Although I lost some bulk the first week, at the end, I never actually lost weight. I gained 1 lb. and that was disappointing although I enjoyed the food. I called and spoke with a counselor. He said that I was doing everything the right way but that I should cut back on the diet soda, which I did but it did not change anything.

    My stepson lost weight easily and happily. Unfortunately, Trying to convince his father and other people he comes in contact to keep him on the Plan was very frustrating. I am stopping the Plan as there is not a consistent approach with other people. Finding he ate 10 cookies because no one was watching him discourages me from continuing.

    I'm at the end of my 2 months and haven't lost any more weight. I lost 10 pounds after the first week. I was very excited and I've been very serious about losing weight. So I did an online chat with a rep, who told me to throw it away and said I would receive a credit. One week later, and two emails later, I have had no further response and no credit. I've been promised a credit and threw away the food as instructed, and then radio silence. That's not good business.

    First I want to say that I have no issues with any of the food. I signed up for Nutrisystem after my sister started it and lost 11 lbs. her first month. She ended up canceling after 2nd month because of a customer service issue. I signed up anyway - while knowing this. It's all good until you have an issue with them. And I expect I will be getting their robot response - thank you for your review and we will be looking into your account and getting in touch soon. Sure. You do that.

    Nutrisystem -- SAVE WORKING PEOPLE SOME TROUBLE AND INFORM THEM THAT THE SHIPPING ADDRESS THEY CHOOSE MAY EXPERIENCE A Saturday delivery. Put it on the form where you select SHIPPING ADDRESS. This would not have occurred if you had done this very small thing. I selected my work address, a school, that is CLOSED on Saturday. I found out at the last minute that FedEx would be shipping my order on a Saturday. I have thus far spent 3 hours of precious work time - during a real crunch period at work - monitoring my account - after the rocket scientist I got at Customer Service rudely explained to me that "there is nothing we can do - but you can certainly change your shipping address for the NEXT order" -- PERFECT.

    I already know that. I am totally frustrated and angry now after monitoring my account every 1/2 hour looking to see when the frozen shipped so that Nutrisystem could try to re-direct the order. It has STILL NOT SHIPPED. I am entirely fed up with this company's lack of response to the customer. They have no clue how to really assist someone and they are freely rude to the customer leading them to complete exasperation. I will be canceling my membership and will never work with this company again. Do so ONLY if you enjoy being ticked off.

    I am a senior citizen who was unaware that (as William, so rudely implied on the phone) that I had signed up for auto shipment. I initially chatted with a representative to assist me in selecting my foods. He helped me in my selections. Never, at any time was the word "auto ship" mentioned. I just spoke with William on the phone, who was so rude to me and would not allow me to speak with his supervisor. He informed me that I will be charge with $125 cancellation fee for the return of this order being sent. I told him I could not afford another order & never would have agreed to a reorder.

    I understand inclement weather. But the entire nationwide Nutrisystem call center was shut down. One office. Nationwide. I had just received my food. I had many questions. A few days later I get in touch with someone and you would not believe how rude she was to me. Now that I’ve started, I’ve had a time cooking food as it EXPLODES in my clean microwave. I put it in another container and the potatoes EXPLODE again making a worse mess. I wanna know why I’m paying $300+/mo for food in skimpy ** containers and why I’m getting cheaply poorly constructed booklets that fall apart when you turn a page and are so small I can’t read the print!! UNHAPPY!!! I want to continue to do the program, but customer service and quality of products SUCK!!! ☹️

    Full disclosure first: I have used Nutrisystem on and off since mid-2013 and it has helped me lose the better part of 100 pounds during that time frame. I would receive a full 28 days (4 weeks) worth of food on my doorstep every month for just under $300. As a result, I was able to both lose weight and stay on my strict budget. I definitely thought I hit the jackpot and could not have been happier with the service.

    I have had to cancel twice over the years and each time I came back to the fold they've raised their prices on me, which I expected and even welcomed since it still provided me 4 weeks' worth of food delivered to my door for a reasonable price. However, this last time when I came back, about 4 months ago, I tried reviving my old program and the customer service rep informed me that it was no longer an option and that I had to choose from one of their current meal plans. Ok, fine, that makes sense, so I logged on to investigate. What I found was very confusing as nowhere on the site did they offer a full 4 week plan. Sure, each one stated that it was a 4 week plan, but further inspection showed that the plan only included 18 days' worth of food, not 28. So, while they were touting their "$12/day" Men's Plan, I was actually paying closer to $18 almost $19 per day since there were 10 days just no longer provided for by Nutrisystem.

    When I called and confronted the customer service department about the discrepancy, the rep told me that they were providing fewer meals in an effort to allow "more flexibility" in meal planning as well as to "give (me) weekends off." I countered with, "Oh, ok, then why does your site insist that you provide 4 weeks' worth of food if I still have to supply a week and a half? You should probably tell people that they aren't *actually* getting the full 28 days somewhere on your website." After a few awkward moments of silence, the rep very kindly decided to speak, simply asking, "Um, ok. Sooo, is there anything else I can help you with?" There was not, and I hung up in sheer disappointment.

    Now I, like most human beings, actually enjoy eating during the weekends and whatnot just as much as during the week. Additionally, I didn't sign up for the program so I'd have to provide my own food or for "flexibility"... In fact, I signed up so I could be lazy and just have food delivered to me every month and also so I don't balloon back into the mega-pig I used to be. I am single and live by myself, which makes Nutrisystem perfect for a guy like me. However, that is just simply no longer the case.

    At the rate in which Nutrisystem now charges me, a month of their food will average about $550. And for what, 1200 calories or so per day? Ugh, no thanks. This is not even remotely close to the deal it once was and I could not be unhappier about it. TL/DR: The service used to be cheap and excellent for both weight loss and budgets. Now, however, it is overpriced and the company itself is less than trustworthy, stating they provide 4 week meal plans while simultaneously providing only 18 days worth of food for your money.

    Let me say that the Nutrisystem plan is working and I am happy about that; however, customer service has been really bad. My 1st request was to change my start date as I did not start the program when the first box was delivered to my doorstep, I had to wait 1 week. No one could change my start date, I asked twice. I used the "Manage My Order" section to have my 2nd shipment delayed 1 week and have had nothing but a nightmare from that. Billed twice, then credited back and my order was canceled. I only wanted it to be delayed 1 week, never asked for it to be canceled.

    Finally got it shipped 2 days before running out of the food packets. My 3rd order was $50 higher than it was supposed to be and customer service said I already had 3 orders so no more discount. I asked them when I received my 3rd order and that's when they realized I was still waiting for my 2nd order. I have spent way too much time trying to convince Nutrisystem to deliver on their auto-ship promise. Bottom line, I never canceled, only used Nutrisystem's tools to delay 1 week = ridiculousness!

    I've used Nutrisystem twice. The first time for 4 months I lost about 60 pounds (I think, it's been a while). Then, continuing on my own using the practice of portion control learned from NS and daily exercise I lost another 40 pounds. Credits go to NS for the food program and online support and the behavior modifications. A couple of years later I needed to lose some more weight but couldn't afford the great program I was on before. Do I ordered s more basic program with no frozen food. This time I wasn't as successful and the packaged and unfrozen foods all reminded me of Hormel and MRE foods. I canceled and my weight continued to creep up. I'm still 60 pounds lighter than I was 5 years ago but now I feel like a pig and need to lose 40 pounds.

    The NS programs being offered these days no longer give you as many meals but have incorporated what I think is called "Flex" meals two days a week where you're on your own (am I correct?). Using this strategy isn't going to work for me. AND taking off two days a week hasn't lowered the cost. If I ordered today I'd get free shipping but now there's a packaging charge. I like the idea of "eat this, lose weight". I need a better deal though for the better program. I'm a returning customer (maybe) and retired on fixed income. 50% discount would be doable. So being from the Heartland of America means less money available for these kind of things. Thanks!

    I've been trying to cancel the next order scheduled to be processed at midnight tomorrow several times. I sent the 1st email which informed me they were very busy. I was concerned they get the message before midnight so I went back in to chat. The chat person Diana told me she couldn't cancel but that I could do that by email customer service or I could call. I emailed customer service and got a message back that I needed to call. I call in and was told she couldn't cancel & that I had to call again tomorrow.     Frozen delivered 2/28/18. Tracker says dry will arrive 3/2. Then 3/5, then 3/7. Never delivered. I had to go to the post office to pick it up, but tracker showed "Delivered". NOT true.     Be aware of the small print when you sign up for Nutrisystem. We placed our orders in early January but were sidelined by influenza, then pneumonia. Thus, we started our diet plan late. After deciding that we were not happy eating out of boxes and packages, we cancelled our orders. We are now being charged $250 ($125 a piece) for “late” cancellation”.     I received your shipment of diabetic products and I had so many cookies for snacks. The last 2 nights, my blood sugar has gone through the ceiling. 196 & 190.     I recently began Nutrisystem. I didn't want to sign up for auto delivery so I began ordering ala carte from Nutrisystem to try different foods and I also ordered some from another company that sells Nutrisystem products. That cooler from that retailer came with ice cream melted and frozen items barely cold. My order came from Nutrisystem packed with the dry ice still in the cooler and everything completely frozen.     First of all, Emilya was extremely helpful and I really appreciate her help. Two concerns are as follows: I didn't get the name of the previous counselor, but I informed her I don't eat pork and she was going to take care of replacing meals with ham, bacon,etc. So far I've only rec'd one chicken noodle soup. The other concern is: when I began the order, I informed the gentleman I was borderline diabetic and he assured me Nutrisystem food was compatible with diabetics so it was fine. I even said there seems to be many pasta dishes and even pizza, but he assured me it was fine. Is that true? I see many meals that seem high in carbs and many sweet breakfast items along with snacks.     I tried Nutrisystem for 2 months. I signed up for the least expensive, due to the high cost. The food was AWFUL! The "pizza" was flatbread with tomato sauce and a few strands of fake "cheese" on it. 2/3 of the evening meals were the pizza. 2/3 of the lunches were chili with beans... Also tasteless. The breakfasts and snacks weren't too bad... Probably the best of all of it. Despite the taste, I powered through for the first 2 orders. I thought I would get used to the taste. NOPE! Even my strong stomach can take only so much. I started gagging each time I ate dinner. I cancelled my 3rd month's order, only to be charged a couple hundred dollars for not staying with the program. It's a scam.

    Had to cancel deliveries. The deliveries of food is overwhelming to me. I have limited space. And we are going to Europe twice this year as well as going to a second home for the summer.     With my salary I'm raising twins. I am traveling a lot because my work sends me overseas often. I ordered several times from Nutrisystem. They are good until you ask to cancel. At that moment you have two options: to buy smaller order (they want to steal money from you); to pay $125 as cancellation fee (stealing again). When I ordered last time it was the option. One-Time Delivery: $590.75 - (this was cross lined, so it's not that price anymore). 4-Week Price: $383.99 with Auto-Delivery - free shipping (here is saying that 4 week Price is 383.99. It is not saying that if you cancel then the above CROSSED price of 590.75 will be active!!! So, Nutrisystem is going down. They are not making new customers maybe, and they are trying to squeeze their existing customers.

    I paid "Discounted" politeness of Nutrisystem $125. They are thefts, stealing from my $125. They don't care that I will never order from them. They don't care that I told them on the phone that I will write bad reviews about them. They just see a second of taking some money, like they are in the margin of bankruptcy. As you can see in the receipt it's saying that I got $50 discount, but they took from me $125. I am telling you, they are stealing money from all of you that order at Nutrisystem. People, DO NOT order from Nutrisystem. Just eat half portions, drink a lot of water, don't eat junk food, and there you go, you got your own Nutrisystem. Don't give money to thieves.

    I tried the program which worked okay due to the portion control, and ads saying save on this package and save on that package... At the end of the month they billed me a total of upwards of $900.00. When I called to cancel their auto ship they were going to charge me $130.00 cancellation fee... I told them to go ahead and I would tell my story publicly!! Go to your local grocery store and purchase Smart Choice meals and you will lose the same way... Log your intake on Fitness Pal and I promise you will save a ton of money. Nutrisystem is a huge rip off in my opinion!!

    I was attracted by the $25 discount being offered. I placed the order, the food was delivered but the discount was not applied. When I reached out I was told the discount would apply to my second order. That was NOT what the offer said...the offer said, "Off your order today." That made me feel uncomfortable, that I was misled or tricked. Because of that I cancelled my order.

    Nutrisystem is missing health risk disclosure and protection recommendations from their program. I've learned from my own experience that several others have reported the same thing yet the information below is not disclosed by Nutrisystem. Coincidently I had blood work through my company done one day before beginning Nutrisystem. All normal results. Six weeks later my annual blood tests were due with my doctor. I was shocked to hear that my liver enzymes were elevated 10 times the normal amount! This is NOT good news and usually indicates a serious medical condition. I have no history in my family or my health history of liver disease and no risk factors that are applicable. My doctor asked me to retest in 2 weeks.

    The only change had been Nutrisystem. I searched online and found others had reported the same medical reaction to Nutrisystem. I stopped the program immediately, retested after 2 weeks and my liver enzymes are normal again. I liked everything else about Nutrisystem and would have continued but liver damage is not acceptable. It's disheartening that this is a possible known side effect yet not disclosed and that blood work isn't recommended before and during program participation. That's just irresponsible knowing the potential risks exist. Anyone thinking of a diet program that creates their own food should have a blood test before starting and work with your doctor to make sure the food isn't putting your health at risk. I was lucky! Most people would have no signs or symptoms until it's too late.

    I am so sick right now. When I signed up for the program I was NOT aware that it was auto/select, auto/delivery on the program. My understanding was that I could choose my food every month. I have never been on any weight loss plan so I was not aware that I even had to be careful, my card was charged another $334.00 for food I can't consume due to medical reasons (daily fiber intake with IBD) not to mention I didn't get to pick the food they auto ordered.

    I could not find a way to cancel online so I had to call the 800#, I was treated like... "You should have read the contents better..." Really??? So I cancelled the program (per the rep) and she will try to stop the order, even if she can stop it. I will still be charged back on my card for the discount I received... (not sure how $ that will be!) If she can't stop it I can return the food (no information on how to do that from the rep) and I can only return the non-frozen food. Needless to say I am SO upset with myself that I research enough reviews or the program better before I signed up... :(

    I ordered the 28 day diet from QVC and did not like hardly any of the selections. Why so much pasta and inferior flavor too? The pizza left a lot to be desired! I had to add veggies to the pot pie for any flavor. The rotini with meatballs yuck! The white bean chili double yuck! Needless to say, I returned over 30 food items to QVC. What a waste of money!

    I will never use any of your products again. It’s really bad customer service to continually not to get your food. I started and was unable to stay on the diet because my food wasn’t shipped or was thawed out when I received it or it was lost in the mail. When I called customer service they could care less. This was a lot of money for me to spend on this program and a big commitment. I feel my whole time on your program wasted my time and money. All because you couldn’t manage to get me the food needed to lose weight on your program (which I paid for). And I would really like my money back.

    I signed up with Nutrisystem the 1st of January. They said on the ad on TV lose 13 lbs and 7 1/2 inches in 1 month. I have been totally faithful to their program and have only lost 7 lbs. I walk at least 2 miles every day. I have called into Nutrisystem and complained at least 4 times now. They say it's because everyone loses weight differently. That's not what their ad on TV says. I track everything I eat on my tracker book. When I told them I want my money back they tell me, "That's only in the first week if you didn't like the food." I like the food I order but that's not what they advertise. This is false advertisement.

    I feel it is easy to sign up and difficult to cancel. Nutrisystem puts you on auto delivery and then when you cancel you keep getting food. I had to call several times to get the return labels to return the food. Then they said they would charge me more for the first order for canceling. The food isn't like you see on tv. You still have to buy the most expensive food. You have to buy the salads, fruits and vegetables. I also found that the food made me extremely gassy. When I ask to speak with a supervisor after repeated calls to Nutrisystem I was told no supervisors were in. I find that hard to believe. I won't ever use this product or recommend it to anyone. Make sure you read the fine print. The ordering process and returns are one step away from a scam. I lost more weight on my own and spent the same amount of time in the grocery store. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT!!! I wish I wouldn't have.

    I have done Nutrisystem twice over the years, and gained all the weight back. The temptation is the blame yourself for this, which companies like this count on. I looked at their website just now, and the difference between now and when I did it is disgusting. The redesign is no better than most shoddy companies that we would know better than to do business with, but since they count on us wanting to lose weight, they are getting away with it. You can't see what food is on the plan till you pay, and they make it appear that you can do one month with no issues, but the fine print at the bottom after you pick a plan says that if you cancel within 14 days AND RETURN THE FOOD. You won't be charged for more months, but if you return AFTER 14 days, they will charge you $125!

    As if that wasn't bad enough, there is no statement on how long many months you have to join, the food is pretty bad, and if the "support" was like it was even back when I did it. It's pretty much a joke. They make employees wear white medical coats, but no one there was actually a registered nutritionist. Also, the 13 day kit you can get a Walmart is so restrictive it can cause headaches and weakness.

    I need to lose weight so I chose what I believed to be a solid and though expensive, quality method. I chose the program I hoped would best meet my needs, which also happened to be the most expensive one. It took several days to receive my food, so my start date was delayed. By the time I received my food, I was scheduled to go out of town for the weekend, so I had to wait until Monday to start. I started the program, and after a couple of weeks realized it was not the program best for my needs. I immediately called and canceled the next order and was told I would now be charged $125.00 because I hadn't canceled within the first 14 days.

    Well, that would be difficult because I had not received the food much before that. I even logged my food each day on the app so they could have seen when I started and how long I was on it, if they cared. I voiced my disappointment and anger and was met with indifference. I even sent an email, which also was generic and uncaring. I am very disappointed and disillusioned. I felt this was a quality program and did not need a 'hook' but apparently I was wrong! I would have recommend the program because I originally just felt it was not right for me, but that is no longer the case. I could not now recommend it to anyone in good conscience.

    They have a cancelation fee that they really do an exceptional job of hiding. The customer service reps won't even tell you it exists until after they have processed your cancelation. You will receive no paperwork detailing the fee and they will brick-wall you if you attempt to contact them about it. They have a customer experience team who combs review sites like this offering to talk to people and assuage their bad experiences, but the email does not appear to have anyone on the other end managing inquiries.

    After all the time I spent to alert you of your deficits (mold in your food) you actually replace my foul cinnamon bun with ONE other one! This is sooo cheap. I can’t believe it. Now I should just post the photo of the moldy bun on Instagram and it would probably get your attention more accurately. I could live with Tina’s promise to send my FIVE replacements and I thought alright they got easy off the hook (Agent (Tina **): "I am so sorry you had to experience this and would be happy to send out 5 replacements."). But now you send me ONE replacement bun!!! Come on, this is just not worth my time and quite frankly I find it shamefully neglectful of whoever did that. Please fix that and at least stick to the 5 replacements.

    Trouble placing an order on numerous occasions, with error messages telling me website not working. Every time Nutrisystem sends me a promotional email with 50% discounts, I try to click through and get nowhere. Customer service (via email) suggested clearing cookies and cache, using a different browser, and using a different device. Nope. If it's that much trouble, I won't be placing an order. I do plenty of online shopping and don't have any problems with other websites taking my orders and my money.

    Received my order from Nutrisystem and it did not include the items I specifically selected. I spoke to online customer service and was basically treated like a liar. I called customer service and the rep, Tatiana, couldn't have cared less about my problem. She didn't ask any questions and just went straight to the return process. They could have kept my business if they just showed a little bit of empathy and exchanged the items I didn't order for the items I originally selected. I understand there can be mistakes made with orders, but there is no excuse for awful customer service.

    I lost 14 pounds, that was good. 3 plans to choose & I chose Basic for $281.97, being their favorites but they choose them. Says I eat 6 times a day and enjoy fresh fruits and veggies, but didn't say I furnish them and 5 other meals. Says it includes burgers, turbo shakes, two shipments; 1 frozen 2 not frozen, low fat yogurt, but it never happened. Also one is lead to believe that the food shown in ads is included, i.e., Their Favorites. When I decided to not get involved again, a few days later they charged me $125.00, for what? If I had taken the Uniquely Yours plan, which I didn't, that is $59.88 more. There is more, but this is enough.

    I bought the $50 trial pack. The bread and other flour products were gummy and in a couple of cases downright sticky. The sauce for the flatbread pizza product had a definite metallic and bitter taste, and a muffin was spongy and sticky. A rice product was also somewhat metallic. My daughter and wife both tasted these items and agreed with me. A few items were acceptable, however, but after discarding the items I couldn't quite bring myself to eat, I wound up cooking for myself, using portion control and lost about 2 pounds anyway. Got to do better on both texture and taste. Military MRE's are far better on both counts.

    Not only was I deceptively charged for "a la carte" add ons - but the chat line told me I could cancel by sending an email to the address given - and the reply from that email was that I had to CALL a phone number to cancel. "A la carte" add ons being PERMANENTLY added to the order is completely DECEPTIVE - especially when the first time they were purchased the cost was $40 and the second order - which was added on without my agreement - was $80! I will tell everyone I know about the deceptive practices and dissuade people from signing up. The a la carte add ons WERE NEVER CLEARLY designated as a FOREVER order - it was advertised as a 'special' add on - it was never presented as a situation where if ordered now you would continuously send the a la carte forever.     I want to thank Nutrisystem's Consumer Experience Team for the prompt, courteous, and professional manner in which they addressed my negative experience, as described in posts dated 2-19-18 and 2-20-18. After giving due consideration to the unpleasant side effects and weight gain that I experienced (possibly age-related)... my retirement fixed income... and the confusion caused by their disclosure statement regarding the $125 cancellation fee Nutrisystem has refunded the $125 cancellation fee. This satisfactory resolution to my complaint has persuaded me to change my initial star rating of Nutrisystem.

    I am a 66 yr-old woman who lives on a fixed income. During the first Turbo Boost week, NS's Numi app allotted me 1050 calories based on information that I provided. I followed the NS plan, managing to eat an average of 800 calories/day... and lost 5 lbs. Now for the bad news. My digestive system did not tolerate the food, which caused dramatic episodes of diarrhea, gas pains and flatulence! In addition, the first day after completing Turbo week, I ate 6 meals as directed... and gained back 3 lbs!

    I know my body and this senior cannot consume 1200+ calories, six meals a day, and lose weight. Disappointed, I decided to cancel my auto delivery... well within 14 days of ordering. I didn't expect or request a refund, and due to my strict budget, preferred not to incur the additional cost of returning unused shelf and frozen food. NS still charged me $125, which in my humble opinion is a ripoff! After all, a customer is either satisfied or not satisfied with a product. For reasons stated, I CANNOT recommend NS to seniors!

    My first delivery was supposed to be 100.00 off and you receive 4 weeks of food and shakes, I received 2 weeks of shakes and 3 weeks of food. The second delivery was supposed to have a bunch of things that I won for logging all of my activities and eating and water intake, but that never happened. All of the "special offers" are not credited at check out, only a fraud to try and get you to spend more money.

    At any rate, after the first week of shakes I had lost 3 lbs. I stuck to the plan religiously and did not lose weight, then I started using the elliptical trainer 3 times a day, lost an additional 2 lbs. I spent a total of 848.00 and lost 5 lbs??? I could have spent that money at a plastic surgeon and received better results. They sell a plan that they say they guarantee will help you to lose weight in the first few weeks, but that never really happened. I think that if you are an overeater and you love to overeat chocolate, then maybe this would work for you, but if you are someone who doesn't really eat 3 meals a day and needs to lose 10-20 lbs, this is not for you, I gained weight because I was eating more than I ever have and I lost it because I started working out.

    This is just another fraud that steals a ton of money and delivers no results! I still have a month of food to eat, and I intend to stay the course religiously but still have not seen any results and think that the dieting would be easier if I was making my own food and just working out. I got this plan, because I didn't want to work out, and I thought that If I could just stick to eating exactly what was sent and lose weight that would be perfect, but that is not how this works, in order for you to lose weight you still have to work out, so this was all an expensive lie, at least that is what I feel!

    Problems started with the shipping of my order. My wife and I ordered on the same day. The order came in 4 separate shipments over about two weeks. I didn’t receive my instructions on how to use the plan until the last shipment. This created getting everything started out of order. Next, we noticed that we weren’t feeling well after eating the food and having digestive issues. We both decided that it was best for us not to continue with the program (we didn’t have these issues the last time we did Nutrisystem).

    When we called to cancel our order, we were told that to stop the program, we had to pay $125 each since we signed up for automatic shipment. The representative said I would receive a call within 24 hours since I requested to speak to a supervisor. I never heard from the supervisor. All I want is to cancel the order. I am very annoyed with the process, the shipping, the lack of response from supervisor, and the penalty. The representative did explain corporate policy, however, with the series of mistakes, this has not been a positive experience.

That is shady business. I called them to have them cancel the order. They did but they still charged us for it and added 125$ fee for cancellation. This is not a legit business. It doesn't work. It is a scam. If you call they won't let you talk to a supervisor. They won't help you. They just repeat themselves over and over and tell you to dispute the charges with your bank.

    I received my order which I sent to my second home in another state. When my dry order arrived today, all of my breakfasts, 14 of them, were missing.     First time ordering from Nutrisystem and I am very unhappy. I received my packaged on Saturday and the first thing I saw was this molded bagel. The packaging is clear so I obviously saw there was some sort of residue from the inside. The whole bagel was green. I was so disgusted. The expiration date on the product was May 2018. I notified Nutrisystem via chat and they just wanted to replace my item when I clearly told them that I wanted a full refund. I received an email from Nutrisystem stating they would give me a $5 coupon. I'm not sure how to break it down more clearly that I want a full refund and I no longer want to be a member, they just couldn't understand that.

    I called customer service, not only is their food disgusting but so is their customer service. The woman would not let me speak. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently Nutrisystem does not have managers on the floor. The rep then told me in order to return the food she could give me a FedEx label but $19 would be deducted from my refund...I was totally confused.

    I've ordered from plenty of companies online and if the company made the mistake they would pay for the shipping label not me. She told me that they are responsible for shipping the product to me but me as the customer is responsible for returning it. But I wouldn't be returning the product if the company who is responsible for shipping the product didn't pack a molded bagel in there... then I wouldn't even be returning it. They think that by sending me a $5 coupon will fix it. Or a replacement item. But the product had a future expiration date of May 2018. Did they want me to sit there and open a month's of breakfast, lunch and snacks to see how many other products were molded.

    A company who makes millions of dollars is making a customer pay the shipping fee all because I do not even want to attempt to eat their food after what I saw. I would NEVER recommend this company to my friends or family. I am in the sales business and we always put our clients number one. And if there was anything I could do to fix a situation I would. I never leave bad reviews but this is to protect anyone who is considering making any order with this company.

    Although I cannot replicate my order experience when I attempted to place an order to use up a balance on a gift card, it is apparent that I missed small print. I did not miss however the emails that were sent on January 11th, 13th, 17th (to name a few) asking me to "come back". If I had signed up for auto delivery, why was I receiving "come back" emails.     I bought two months of Nutrisystem in June and July 2017. Then I cancelled the auto-delivery and bought a few months from eBay sellers. Everything went fine until November 2017, when I didn't receive the last four purchases from eBay sellers and had to have eBay refund all four payments. Then I tried to order a la carte items from Nutrisystem's website four times in January 2018 (using the auto-delivery option). Each time, my order would be cancelled by Nutrisystem the next day, and the charge(s) to my credit card would disappear after two days. I finally discovered that Nutrisystem had restricted my Nutrisystem profile from placing orders due to my address being involved with fraud. I learned about this after I made four phone calls and sent one email to Nutrisystem...nobody at Nutrisystem knew what the problem was until the fourth phone call.

    Creating a second profile made no difference, and neither did creating a profile in my friend's name (who lives with me and has been on the Nutrisystem diet since July 2017). All four orders were cancelled by Nutrisystem without any explanation as to why they were cancelled. The restriction on my account at Nutrisystem is due to the fraudulent eBay sellers who never followed through and sent me my purchases (or Nutrisystem cancelled those four orders for some reason--I don't know why I never received those last four purchases from eBay sellers). But because of this, my address is now restricted from ordering products from Nutrisystem. I was told by a Nutrisystem rep that my address will always be restricted from ordering Nutrisystem products.

    I believe this violates my rights, since it was not my fault that fraud occurred. In hindsight, I realize that I should not have ordered from eBay sellers, but I did not commit any fraud. I don't want to have to take legal action against Nutrisystem, because I just want to be able to buy a la carte items from Nutrisystem's website using auto-delivery for several months. I don't know what to do to have this problem fixed, so I can order from Nutrisystem again. It seems like it should be easy to fix, but they don't trust my address now, and after explaining everything that happened, the Nutrisystem rep would not agree to fix my profile and allow me to purchase products, as long as I use my current home address.

    Unauthorized deliveries and refusal to take back order - While your staff is polite and tries to be cooperative the bottom line is that my cabinets are filled with items I don't like or unhealthy for me. My first order consisted of 12 boxes of pizza for dinner, 5 lunches of chili beans, 2 sausage and peppers. These are not items I eat or that I think are healthy.     I have been on the Nutrisystem Weight Loss Plan before some years back. I have to say, since you have improved your website, it is a big improvement and very helpful. I have completed the Turbo Start and successfully lost 8 pounds during that week. Only one criticism. So much of the food is pretty bad. I understand it is diet food, but isn't it just regular food with smaller portions? I had a breakfast sandwich this morning and it was edible, not tough, but completely tasteless.

    I had the Black Beans and Rice at lunch and my better half said it stinks so bad he had to move across the room. It did stink, but the flavor was okay. One of the Alfredo's (don't remember which) was probably the worst of all. I will have to check my first order and be sure I do not order that again. I remember the bean and ham soup being thick and tasty. Not so with this order. I use to enjoy that soup. The Flat Bread Pizza, well, not much to say about that either and so on and so on. It wasn't all bad however, and since I do want to lose weight, I guess it's just not supposed to be too tasty.

    It is very convenient when I do not have to worry about cooking for myself in a special way. Your price has increased considerable since I was on the plan the first time. I had to take a deep breath before I push that button to purchase. It's quite a commitment to spend $350 on this plan. I am committed to two months, but I will likely look into some other plans. I do appreciate the fact the plan has helped me lose 8 pounds. Your delivery was very timely on both the first shipment and the extra order I made of frozen foods. Customer Service has been responsive to an issue I had. I know each of us reacts and tastes differently when it comes to food. This is simply my personal opinion. I'm sure there are many others that have no objection to the flavor and taste of the foods.

    NutriSystem is advertised as a full meal plan with portion control when in reality it is not. Looking at the second week of the plan (because the first week is supposed to be at a 1,000 calories worth of food to kick-start your weight loss), I noticed that combining the highest calories foods for each meal (1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and 2 snacks), I got to a total of 940 calories a day; this is accounting for the fact that the average calories of foods I received were 800 calories a day worth of food. This is an unhealthy caloric intake for any adult, man or woman.

    I've only been with the program for about one week, so I cannot attest to the results. I am pretty sure it works for weight loss because of all the other testimonials and the insanely low amount of calories a day if you follow the meal plans. Their program recommends from 1,200 to 1,500 calories a day (which is healthy for a sedentary adult depending on height and weight). However, they do not provide that amount on the program, so you are expected to provide the rest for yourself. They are not explicit about this fact in their advertisement. They instead dubiously allure to this with the catchy phrase of "flexible meals", which sounds more like "cheat meal" or "treat yourself to some low calorie-veggies" than, "You have to buy and prepare additional food to meet the recommendations of our program even though we advertise it as a full meal plan".

    I have to say that the food is surprisingly good. It does not taste like most packaged food, but instead has a home-cooked feel with tasty flavors. Also, the packaging is very convenient since they are hermetically sealed and do not require refrigeration (except for the frozen foods, which are optional). In conclusion I think that it is a convenient option if you do not have enough time to cook and prepare all of your meal, but be mindful that you will still have to cook or buy additional foods because the program does not provide all of the necessary calories in a diet, which makes it an additional expenses and eliminating the financial convenience that is advertised in their site.

    I saw an ad in our local flyer for Turbo 13. I only wanted to lose 13 pounds. Since I was well on my way to the 13 pounds but knew I needed to cancel the 2nd shipment well in advance of meeting the goal, I cancelled the 2nd shipment. I have lost 8 pounds and since the goal was 13, I wasn't in need of a second shipment and cancelled only to be hit with a $125 cancel fee. The flyer said nothing about that but the "other restrictions apply" statement said they had the right to charge me. I signed up online and it was in the fine print that I would be charged the fee.

    So the moral of the story is, only use Nutrisystem if you have a lot of weight to lose or it is way too expensive. I have already alerted several of my friends to this "catch" and plan to alert everyone I can. So misleading and really a scam. SO DISAPPOINTED. And the slogan "you eat the food, you lose the weight" isn't exactly true. Nice come on but you have to supplement the plan with your own groceries at an additional cost. Also, "no measuring or counting" isn't true either since that's exactly what you have to do. If I ever have to lose 10 lbs again, I will ONLY do Weight Watchers since it is SO much cheaper for the same result.     I order 1 set of meals. Didnt request to be set on auto order. When I cancel I was told I still will be charged $150 for the cancellation. When I told them I didnt request it I was told, "Well that is why you got a discount" which is not true. I got the discount because I was a new member. Well at least thats what it was suppose to be.     I signed up for Nutrisystem and absolutely cannot stomach the food. Some of it is actually revolting and had to throw away several items of the cans I opened. I called to complain and cancel. The support person on the phone ignored the fact that I said that the food tastes terrible and started asking me on how much weight I have lost! I calmly reminded him all I wanted was to complain that the food tastes terrible, send it back within the 30 day window, and cancel my account. He countered that if I do not order a second month's supply, Nutrisystem will charge me a $125 cancellation fee.

    I told him how can I order another $300+ month's supply when I called to complain that I cannot possibly eat their food? He cancelled my account and promptly charged me $125 to cancel! Shame on you, Nutrisystem. All you operate is a scam and I can't believe you've been tricking people this long! I will be pursuing this with the FTC and the Pennsylvania Attorney General. Buyer beware!

    I ordered Nutrisystem last week, part of the shipment was sent first. I called Nutrisystem because they had not informed me of receiving 2 shipments and I wanted to know why since I took the day off from work to be home to put it away. I expected the 1 shipment and no others until I had a notification. 4 days later there were going to be 2 shipments.

    I called Nutrisystem customer service right away to find out why the 2 shipments, I was then informed I would have another shipment in 28 days that would be over $400 on the auto ship program. WHAT! Customer service said I could cancel but I would have to pay $125. I told them I did not know there was auto ship or I would NEVER have ordered this, then they hung up on me! I already spent $364 for this initial shipment. Now I need to either order $200 of food or send back all the nonfrozen food. This company should be avoided, terrible practice of very poor disclosure. It obviously is near fraud to entice people to buy their product then charge them extravagant amounts of money that the product is NOT worth.

    I took advantage of the Turbo 13, 4-week program. I received my order on Jan. 3, 2018. I called three times after that day about some products that arrived opened. During each conversation, I was told that I needed to call back by the 22nd of January to make any changes or to delay my next order. Each time I asked, "or to cancel?", and they replied yes. I called on Jan. 19 to cancel and now they're telling me that I have to take another four-week shipment. I've called them several times since and am met with resistance and arguments each time. I won't accept any future orders, nor will I be responsible for any future purchases with Nutrisystem.

    I started my Nutrisystem order online January 30th 2018. I ordered the Basic Plan for 199.00 plus the shakes for 39.99, I was very concerned about the deal being on auto delivery so I called the # to the side and spoke with a rep named Candace. I asked her about my concern and she reassured me and said that it was only required for 2 months (the auto delivery). I am always concerned about things like that because companies are so dang dishonest with their ads and promotions and they NEVER tell you everything (learned that the hard way). I am on a monthly budget and it's very important for me to be careful with our money. Now, I asked her 3 or 4 times was the number I called to reach her at the same number I would call to cancel when I was ready to do so. I could tell she didn't really want to answer that question but nevertheless did and said, "No you have to call this number," and proceeded to give it to me.

    When she had explained a few more things and had answered some more of my questions we go to tally up and she informs me that she is even going to take $5.00 more off the price and I say, "Thank you," and she says, "Your total is 238.98," and then tells me that someone from their counselor dept would be calling me about my kidney disease, so thinking my order was 238.98 and feeling good about things we hang up. Soon after get a call from someone I believe named Bob (he was speaking sooo fast I'm not sure on that). He needs my Kidney Dr's name and Phone #. I give it to him and he says he will get back with me on whether or not I can continue with the diet.

    We hang up and I go check my email and what do I see? A charge from Nutrisystem not for 238.98 as Candace had said (I also had added it) but for ORDER: #** YOUR PLAN: Basic Plan: Women, Favorites Pack; SUMMARY: "A total of $318.97 will be charged to your CARD ending in...", WELL I was fuming. Talk about thieves and liars they are... FOR SURE! I called back and asked to speak to Candace 3 different times even left a message asking why she told me 238.98 (which was correct) but charged me 318.97. I NEVER got a callback and last time I called I spoke to the rep and asked her if she could tell me why? She informs me my order had been canceled because of my health and that my money would be back in my account in 2 to 3 days (didn't take three days for them to get it). Now they canceled the order NOT ME, let's see if they try and keep the 125.00 for canceling early. They had better hope not.

    I have already told this and posted at several places, I will tell as many as I can what they did to me (and it's fine they canceled because of my health). How they LIED and tried to CHEAT me on my credit card is NOT! This is the very reason I have the app on my phone called ACR all calls recorded. I went through the same thing with Dish Network and having this app and calling the BBB and another got me back over 400.00 they cheated me out of when they had received back the equipment but never checked it in and blamed me and charged my card. I sincerely try and deal with people on the up and up, Hell, I guess it's asking for too much to expect the same. Shame on you Nutrisystem!!!

    I found my second most annoying problem with the new NuMi application: Serving size! For nearly all the foods I enter, why is the entry for Serving Size... Serving? Not helpful at all. I would like to know what NuMi thinks a serving is: 1 tsp, 1 Tbsp, 28 grams, 3 oz, 8 fl oz.... you get the idea. The attached is a perfect example: wrong serving amount, and it can't be changed either!

    I don't cook so I'm not really that picky about food but the Nutrisystem food is absolutely awful. I don't know what those who think it's good are eating, but I just ended up giving a hamburger patty to my dogs. It smelled like dog poo and tasted like dog food smells. They loved it. The packaged foods are so overly processed, any pasta is nearly liquefied and there is an over-abundance of red-sauce entrees loaded with chemicals. Yes, I've lost weight because I haven't been eating much of anything. Thankfully, I bought it through QVC on a one-time order so I'm not stuck with auto-shipments or being overcharged for hidden or small print or cancellation. If you're not sure about it, buy it at Walmart or QVC and try it. That way you won't be snookered into giving up your life savings for this garbage they call food.

    If your food description had been on your original order website It would have saved us both time and money. Type 2 diabetes is controlled by cutting out of carbs, not insulin. Type 1 can eat ice cream and increase their insulin. Type 2 must control the sugar intake. All of your meals had pastas, sugar coated rolls, and carb intense snacks, as well as high salt. Both bad for Type 2. When you make brown rice, veggie noodles and low salt contact me and I will sign up again. Thanks.

    I was having issues with Nutrisystem's food not agreeing with me. I paid the $125 penalty fee and was sure I would be stuck with almost a month of food I could not eat.     I was on my 6th day... and my stomach became increasingly irritated. Very gassy and just felt like crap. The additives and sweeteners that your company uses did not work with my body... I then read several articles and others have had this too. So to be fair some of your stuff tasted decent but the preservatives and sugar replacements are not healthy. I also had no idea I was obligated to a 2nd box... I must have not read the fine print. I had no idea. But I knew that I did not want a 2nd box so I paid the penalty fee. I was not happy about that but knew I was trapped in a way... and didn't want a 2nd box wasted when others can use the food. That is my truth. Thank you. Not all plans work for all people.

    I had someone from Nutrisystem contact me very fast. I think they were fair in replacing foods. The gal apologized and did seem to want to help which is good.
    I just wish they would rethink Turbo Week foods and let the consumer choose. They really need a button to check if you don't want nuts or peanut butter when you order online.

    I'm really disappointed with Nutrisystem sending me food of their choosing for the first Turbo week. You do not get to choose foods you like, they just send you a turbo box in your dry food order. The turbo box food, most of it, is food I never would have ordered. This first week has been the toughest week I have ever had on a diet. For one, I'm very hungry and then having to heat up something that I really don't care for has been difficult. After 4 days, I decided to try the food I ordered. This has been a much better day getting to eat foods I actually like. Tonight I had the frozen mushroom stuffed chicken breast and it was very tasty. My mom is trying Nutrisystem at the same time as me and she agrees it's bad they don't let you pick your first week of food. So 3 days of food will probably go in the trash which is such a waste and shorts me the full program.

    Another thing is I don't eat nuts anymore as they make my mouth sore. When ordering online I was able to stay away from them. In the turbo box, a cereal has nuts in it but the biggest thing is I cannot eat the peanut butter Nutricurb bar which you're supposed to eat one a day. I have to substitute, but it sure would be nice to get that chocolate treat in the afternoon. I had to call a counselor to ask what I could use as a substitute (it's not chocolate), she was very nice and gave me some helpful tips. She did say, "You need to call to order if you have any allergies." These first 4 days have been harder than they should have been. I don't know why Nutrisystem chooses your food the first week, I'm sure they could give a list and let you choose. For these reasons I'm giving an early two star review.

    I received order and was disappointed that NutriPro shakes contained caffeine, emailed 9/18 for list of items that contained caffeine. Email was returned and list was at best incomplete. Called counselor, he said if I had special dietetic needs I should have called and talked w nutritionist prior to ordering. He tried to connect me to one but they were busy and he said one would return my call, usually within 15-20 minutes, 2 hours and 56 minutes later I received a call, my phone rang twice and when I picked up nobody was there, caller ID showed it was from your company.

    I immediately called back but of course I received the automated system and since I didn't have another 10-15 minutes to waste before someone said they would again return my call I did not proceed and no one bothered to try again. All I need is a list of items that have SIGNIFICANT caffeine content, chocolate cupcakes and cookies are not significant, I have no other dietetic restrictions. To my knowledge for some reason this information is not available on the website. This is my first order and the food is fine, service is poor.

    I needed to determine which items had stevia since I had an allergic reaction to one of the foods on the plan. I called the counselor support line and within minutes, the counselor sent me a list of all the foods that contain stevia and all the stevia derivatives. I then sent an email about replacing the items that were in my first order. I could change my upcoming order, but was left with several items I couldn't eat. They responded and instructed me the line to call and option to choose. It then took only a few minutes for the gentleman on the phone to help me choose my replacement items and provide me with the office to send back the items I was exchanging.

    Every time I spoke or wrote the counselors, they were extremely responsive, made me feel like they genuinely cared about my issues and helping me resolve them. I've tried several other weight loss solutions and have never received the service from them as I have from Nutrisystem. It's clear why this place has been in business for so many years. Oh, and it's much less expensive than some other programs, and the foods taste much better. Thank you to Victoria, Olivia and Thomas for all their help.

    The majority of the Nutrisystem food is delicious. I loved that I could choose my own meals, after the first shipment. I felt it was a well rounded food plan. I lost 30# in 3 months on the plan. In the days of Amazon 2 day shipping for almost anything, I can't believe this company takes more than two days to even get your order together to ship!     I had already removed the Canadian turkey bacon egg and cheese muffins from my auto order, the last representative stated that he too had removed them from any future orders. Will I receive a credit to my account? I had to get rid of the spoiled ones.     Having used the Weight Watchers app before, I find it disappointing that your NuMi app does not have the basic information in it that you already provide in other pdfs such as the grocery guide. Simple search for "fresh apple" can't tell me if that is a power fuel or a smart carb. Seems pretty basic to me. I went from really liking how easy it is to use your foods and follow the diet, to being fairly confused and afraid to each anything since I don't know how to classify it. That makes me more hungry than the first week, and more cranky.

    Because I had a very good experience with Nutrisystem in 2011, I decided to use them again. Unfortunately, the menu items and their structure changed and could not digest most of the meals. The stomach cramps and other issues were too unbearable to continue. I did make that dreaded "cancel" call, and boy, it was not pleasant. Without going into details, I was not allowed to stop because I enrolled in an auto-delivery. So, if I wanted to quit after January, I would have to pay for February as well. How was I to know that the products would change this much to upset my digestive system? At this point, I am sending back the food I have and will wait what the CC statement will say. Nevertheless, I will never ever work with this company again. They will love you as long as you keep on buying. They will do anything to punish you when you don't. Keep this in mind.

    Food was good and actually helped me to lose and maintain my weight. Huge issue was delivery service.     I received a frozen order two months ago (my first order) and it was completely melted on arrival. I requested a replacement and received it in around six business days but it was still frozen so problem solved. I again received a melted frozen order three weeks ago and requested a replacement. They blamed the shipping provider stating it was melted because it sat on the truck too long (even though the shipment was received within the 7-10 day shipping that Nutrisystem pays for so it’s their fault for not packing enough dry ice to keep items frozen for the duration of shipment). They said they would send a replacement but I never received it. I called back to check the status of my replacement and they said the replacement order was “cancelled due to a warehouse error”. Whatever that means.

    So they said they would send yet another replacement (third attempt) two days ago and expedite shipping that day but I just checked the order status and it STILL has not shipped. I’ve been out of food for three days and am gaining weight due to being forced off the diet for lack of food. When I asked the rep what I should do about being out of food I was told I should go out to eat and refer to the eating out guidelines. When asked if they could upgrade to a faster shipping option I was told no by two different supervisors (both of which have prolonged the issue rather than resolving it). DO NOT TRY NUTRISYSTEM. They will force you to break their diet and also pay for non-Nutrisystem food because they are too cheap to pay for appropriate shipping.

    The delivery of food is slow. I've been waiting a week for replacement items. The frozen foods are shipped days apart from the non-frozen food.     I went online to cancel/delay my order and it did not save it. When I received the email that the order went through I emailed at 230 am to cancel my order b/c there was a problem with the website to delay my order. I receive an email 6 pm that day after I got one that said the order shipped. That it was too late to cancel and you needed to contact customer service before 6 pm to cancel. Too bad I did this and the order still didn't get cancelled. They still sent out the dry food and are charging me. I want my account cancelled and autofill stopped. Terrible customer service. Way to make people have to order stuff when they don't want to and want to delay it.

    I just finished the Turbo week and I have to say, while it's great to have lost 3 lb in one week, I much preferred the program I first did, where I went on the regular diet immediately and lost 1lb per week. It was so unpleasant to spend a week unable to concentrate on work or anything else because of being so hungry. Far better to spend 3 weeks, fully satisfied by the amount of food, and losing 1 lb per week than to "crash" into the program with turbo.

    Just starting with Nutrisystem, and it's not getting off to a good start. When joining, they offered 7 days of free products for all new customers starting on an auto-delivery 4-week plan. When my shipment arrived, I got 3 weeks of meals plus my "free" products for the first week. When I called I was told I got my 4 weeks and my free products. Never mind the math, she had no clue and said "I don't know what to tell you."

    They really should be more forthcoming with your 4 week plan being only 3 weeks for the first month, and that the "free" products aren't really free since they are technically the 1st week of the initial "4 week plan." Also, when you download their NuMi app you are suppose to get a free food sampler. Doesn't mention anywhere that you actually have to pay $8 for shipping. Technically they're correct that the product itself is free, but their ads should note somewhere in the fine print that shipping is not included. Anyway, started day one of my diet today so we'll see if things get better.

    Due to medical conditions. Extremely nice about it. What I ate was excellent. Except did have exploding cans. The girl I talked to on the phone was extremely nice. The food I ate was very filling and good. I wish I could have stayed on the diet but I did learn portions.

    I used this plan 4 years ago and the cost was considerably less than today's prices. And, now there is less food per day and fewer days of food provided. There has been zero inflation in the cost of goods in the United States over the past few years, so I can't understand the reason for Nutrisystem for skimping. I don't think I will be a returning customer. But actually, I was checking on this for a friend and I won't be recommending it to them.

    I was transferred 4x before I was connected with the correct person. Finally Latasha ** took the time to help me with my simple request - my order did not come with the daily planner. She quickly sent the information via email and will follow up with a hard copy. The other representatives could not be bothered with taking the time to truly assist - just quickly transferred me.     I was not aware there was a $125.00 fee to cancel the program. I also did not approve to have my credit card charged for additional food. The amount withdrawn has put my bank account into a negative balance and additional overdraft charges have been made to my bank account.     Not happy about Nutrisystem's policies. The food is very expensive without being SLAMMED into high cost add-ons. I was offered a half price shakes for $39 at sign up. I thought this was a one time thing. Today shipment 2 arrived with $79 (were $39) of shakes. When I tried to return them I held for 27 minutes to get an operator who was new and put me on hold with every question I asked.

    I asked about web chat, he said there was none and the box popped up online. I held almost 30 minutes for web chat and then was told the shakes have to be canceled and the price doubles after the first shipment. The return policy is EXTREMELY poor customer service. A return label for the shakes I was slammed into is $19.99, they would not offer a one time price adjustment because of the misunderstanding and just told me that is the way it is. NOT IMPRESSED NUTRISYSTEM!!!

    I never signed up for automatic $450 shipments. So Nutrisystem charges my card, ships another month's worth (currently in transit), and THEN notifies me via phone that I have a shipment coming. I had planned in the next couple days of picking out food I actually liked and continuing business with them. But find out tonight I get an order of various things I won't eat, and they cannot refund me on anything but the fridge food, that the frozen is non-refundable. I never asked for this. And I hope Nutrisystem is happy they lost several months or more of orders because of this disgraceful move.

    I will post to every website and blog I can find, as well as spread word of mouth to everyone that will listen, how horrible this company is. They could have resolved this, and chose not to do so. I'm beyond steamed. Be happy that you took food out of my kids' mouth this month on my limited income, Nutrisystem. You have a chance to resolve this, but I doubt you will after talking to your customer service rep.

    On 12/7/17 I used the chat function to take advantage of a Numi free offer that I was having problems with. I chatted first with Gabriel and then with Leo. Leo indicated, once I had successfully accessed the offer in the Numi system, that he could either send the offer as an a la carte order and I would be charged shipping or he could add it to my auto order for 12/25/17. I opted for him to add it to my auto order so I would not have to pay $10.49 for shipping what was offered as a freebie.

    When my order came over the holidays, it did not include anything but the regular order that I paid for. I called just now and spoke with Dominque who told me that since the offer is over, she could not help me except to send me a free snack assortment. I declined. I do not need more snacks. She suggested that next time I call and get a live person instead of chatting on-line. This seems contrary to the direction Nutrisystem is pushing me to do more things online. This is the second time I have had an issue with a Numi offer. I also emailed about a bug in one of my Apple Streusel Bars and asked for a replacement. That did not happen either. I kept the video of the bug in the packaging if you want it.

    I am not going to quit over this because the system is working and I have lost 50 pounds, but it is disappointing to have these issues. I see that an email today about using the Numi system will result in more offers in 2018, but it makes me reluctant to expect anything when it has been just a time waster so far. I have spent more than two hours on the phone or chatting over these "free" offers only to get no satisfaction. I also do not like the changes made to Numi in November. It is much harder to use and takes much longer to log my daily input.
