    I tried Nutrisystem for 1 month using a coupon I received through email. After 1 month I wanted to cancel because it was too expensive. I called to cancel and a very pushy retention phone sales rep told me in a very rude way that I had to pay $125 to cancel and that the reason I got the quote/unquote discount was that I had actually signed up for an auto ship program and cancellation is $125 fee. It total BS. For food that is ridiculous and falsely advertised.

    I was sent a company selected order for Type 2 Diabetes. My glucose level rose and I learned they had 65+ products with low levels of sugar under 5 g and I had well over 65 with levels 8, 9, 10++. It did not make sense and finally after weeks they took back some items and offered a credit. I appreciate the effort to make it right but I am better off just buying select items I want at a grocery store that carries the products. The food is very good and have no complaints there.

    My calls and emails are all in your system. I have requested a refund and because I was late on the request frozen meals do not receive a credit. If I ordered all ready to eat I would have no issue. However sending me a 2nd order in 3 weeks when I started with 5 also backed me up. The entire process has been uncomfortable and Nutrisystem has NEVER accepted any of the blame for any action that took place. I get the same answer over and over. You lost a customer for life but perhaps one here or there does not matter. The goal is to sell food. Sorry I started and never again.

    On February 28, 2019, before my automatic shipment was to ship. I emailed your customer service to inquire about making some changes on my shipment, as some items I did not care for, and if I am paying for this food, I believe I should have the option to make changes to items I like. As I did not receive a response from my email inquiry, I went on your site and made the changes I wanted and thought all was good, and I was happy. Then, finally on March 5, 2019 AFTER my order was shipped, I was advised that I was unable to make changes to this shipment and if I wanted to for my next shipment, I would pay for it! Seriously? So, I promptly emailed back stating that I am cancelling any and all future automatic orders. I also had referred people (one of which I know contacted you) that I now feel I should warn them of this lack of customer service!

    I am a veteran of Nutrisystem. I have used it twice in the past 10 years. Both previous experiences were successful. I lost 65 lbs. the first time and more than 70 lbs. the second time back in 2015. I need to lose some 40 lbs. to get my BMI down to .80. I need both knee replacement surgery and that is the requirement. No problem - I called my old friend Nutrisystem and noticed they have multiple plans. OK, I selected the basic plan. The costs listed on the website is $10. change per day. I attempted twice to order online and there were problems with the website response time and I could not get a confirmation on the order so I cancelled and phoned the 800 number.

    I was greeted by a very pleasant woman. I explained my situation and goals. I also told her about the website failure and she was apologetic about that. We agreed on a basic plan for me, she told me the price, I briefly questioned the pricing difference but, decided to not make a big deal about it. I assumed that the program was more expensive if you used a rep to set it up.

    I received my package about 1 week later, opened it and began the program. There was a box that said open me first. It was the first week's meals. It was self explanatory and I began. The first week was uneventful. When I started the second week I opened and inventoried the balance of the shipment. I noticed that there was only enough food for 15 days! That left 6 days unaccounted for. I called Nutrisystem and they explained that there are "6 Flex days" where you practice not eating Nutrisystem meals. I don't need practice, I need the portioned, balanced meals!

    I attempted to discuss this with the rep and she was very blunt, "If you don't like it we'll give you a refund". End of discussion. I attempted to discuss it again and she said, (I'm paraphrasing) "This is the way we do it now. If you don't like it take the refund." I took the refund. I am disappointed! I liked the way Nutrisystem used to be. I emphatically don't like the NEW Nutrisystem. I also don't like that they are not upfront with this information. This also blows their "$10.00 per day" out of the water. It works out closer to $15.00 per day for the basic and more than $20.00 per day for the best system without any of the options added on!

    I've been on Nutrisystem for about a month and a half. I've lost 19 lbs so far! My biggest problem with losing weight was always that I don't have the time to do all the meal prep that other diets require, or if you try to do it on your own. I read all the reviews before I started and while it is a bit costly (the only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5) how much would it be worth to you to lose 20 lbs in 45 days?? Once you are successful on the full plan you can step down to less expensive plans and start replacing some of the food with food of your own.

    When I read the reviews one of the biggest concerns was the portion was small. Ummm that's the point. most of us gain weight because we eat monster portions of everything. When you eat little, but often, you are fine. They also encourage you to eat plenty of veggies, which 4 servings a day is essentially "free" calories... so if you are still hungry you can grab some carrots or cucumber etc. Follow the plan closely, especially for the first few weeks, don't supplement yet. I lost 10 lbs fairly quickly and that never happened in any of the many many diets I've tried. Most of the food was good and I'm super picky so there is bound to be something for everyone in their selections. Bottom line, if you really give it a try and follow the instructions, it can work for you.

    First order has been unsatisfactory. Frozen items arrived largely thawed. Dry items have not arrived. Phone service awful— 40 min wait on hold, then told their promise of full refund requires return of the dry food (WHICH HAS NOT ARRIVED). CATCH 22??? The sad tale of runaround continues. Needless to say I will be disputing the transaction with credit card company.

    I was told that there is a 2 weeks refund no questions asked. Today I received someone else's package. Customer service told me that now I have to sit home all day waiting on the FedEx guy to reject the package. They will mail me a label for the other box which I have to take back to the FedEx office and I won't get a refund. It's very strange that I was charged $399, received a packaging slip for $236 and now I am stuck doing logistics and nobody is willing to even introduce themselves. I would absolutely recommend thinking twice before ordering anything from these rip off company. If I provide my name, address and my credit card information and they don't even willing to give up their last names after robbing it's completely unacceptable.

    This is the second time I ordered Nutrisystem's 4 week plan and am unpleasantly surprised it now only includes 20 dinners/lunches/breakfasts/snacks! They used to send 24. 4 weeks is 28 days minus 4 flex days should be 24. I called support - the wait time was too long. I emailed them 2 days ago to have this explained - and no answer yet. What's up with that, Nutrisystem?

    Works okay, but tired of eating same thing all the time. Learning to adapt and buy and prepare my own food. Would be cheaper and better. Buying the food does give good ideas to go by. I have learned how to eat now, so it's time for me to save my money. Microwaved foods are unhealthy, for us. Freshly prepared is much healthier. I'm thankful this gave me a guide to go by. Now they need to change commercials, for normal people that aren't looking like a certain body image. Last thing we want to see is underdressed people.

    Second month of food was messed up by warehouse and sent someone’s else’s order. Upon verification with customer service I was advised will be receiving vegetarian meals soon which was weeks ago. Payments were made with credit card and paid to Nutrisystem while still yet to receive food. Called in customer service yesterday just told, “We are so sorry.” They had issues with Reno Warehouse. One can’t lose weight without food if only meals were shipped on time. All this issues can be verified for payments, time when last order was shipped, call logs. Pathetic Customer Service.

    I decided to give your program a try... you state that I had two weeks to cancel. I received the food and was not pleased with the taste nor did I understand what I was supposed to do. I called multiple times and was encouraged to continue. I was still at a loss on how and what to do. Some of the reps just kept saying... "ok I answered your question anything else?" That is when I decided not to continue I called CS again. I was told by multiple reps that I was not within the two weeks and too bad.

    The last rep I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none were available and I was wrong, I was too late. Within one minute I was charged the $125. I told her that I was going to dispute the charge and she said go ahead. I asked about what I should do with the food... no answer. I wrote to CS and was told YES I was within the time limit and to return any unused dry food which I did. Today My bank said that my dispute was granted and I got my credit But I keep getting emails from NS to cancel my dispute. Now I am totally confused. Please train your reps better. I know you are in business to make money and refunds hurt your business but train them about the two weeks and how to proceed with cancellations.

    I am disappointed in the amount of food I am receiving based on the same price I paid back in October 2018. In October I was receiving 24 meals in each category (48 snacks). Now for the same price I am only receiving 20 meals. Totally unfair and pricey. I will cancel after 2 months.

    My husband & I signed up for 2 Uniquely You Plus - monthly auto-ship programs free shipping. We got 30% off (I've seen commercials for 50% each order if signed up for auto-ship). Also, we were promised a few extras like cookies and something else - didn't get them. And next months order has $20 shipping?! My husband called in that we got 2 or more of something and missing 2 or more items (we are having the missed sent).

    I find much of this miss-leading like no matter how many times I've seen it written "first week eat what's in the box" the app shows much more you "should" be having first week so we both messed that up. Then I sent an email for clarification and got a reply 5 days later (wk one - done). I hope this gets easier and I hope we get what we should each box from now on, oh 1 more thing why are there only 20 items of each meal? It's a month 30-day program, where's the other 10 items? How can we get 50% off? I have a commercial I recorded from the TV just last night!?

    Eat the food and lose weight. That is all you ever hear. I was sold so I placed an order for a 28 day plan. The problem? You only get 20 days of food. You see (as I was told) for my benefit I get flex meals, that is two of each meal and snack per week that I make my own meal. So the 28 day plan is truly almost a 3-week plan. Yes they do mention flex meals but unless you read closely and pay attention you might think you are getting a full months worth of food. The site tells you $12.50 per day, but the real price is $17.50. Returned everything and learned a valuable lesson.

    The price is outrageous. The first thing that is ridiculous is that you only provide 1/3 of any meal. NO SIDES. Why can't you send a full 3 course meal for frozen dinners. Then the price is really too high. Then you only provide 24 days OUT OF 31 total, so there are not 4 days on your own, there are 7 DAYS on your own. This program is HORRIBLE!! WAY OVERPRICED!! And it does not work. Like all diets, it stopped working.

    UPDATED ON 05/17/2019: Responder simply is passing me off to someone else, not really helping. Why don’t they simply forward the customers email to appropriate department, instead of telling customer to call? Then the person authorized to help, can actually help. Just pass the buck with the hope the customer will give up. Poor service as usual with Nutrisystem.

    Original Review: How many more times must this be explained. My non frozen order is arriving two days later than my next cycle begins. Your reasoning that it will be delivered within the 4-10 day period is irrelevant to me. The fact is, you processed it two days too late. If you processed two days earlier, it would be guaranteed to arrive on time. Poor customer service. Very disappointing. Dieting is hard enough without my plan sabotaging things for me. As a result, I intend on canceling my next delivery unless Nutrisystem satisfies me in some way.

    Hello. I second order was missing two frozen items. This was the second month in a row that my order was missing items. I contact NS via the counselor email expressing my frustration on February 8th. I received a response on February 12th saying they would resolve the issue.     I tried Nutrisystem a year ago. I was able to choose my own foods but they looked and tasted nothing like the pictures or the commercial. I was very disappointed at the quality. Many of them you added water to. The shipping was good but the invoice was very difficult to decipher so it was hard to tell if I received what I ordered. I was always hungry and did not find the meals satisfying at all! Also, my schedule did not allow me to eat 6 times a day and they had no workaround for those of us in that situation. I stuck it out for a month but did not lose any weight. At this point when I called to cancel I was told I did not qualify for the money back guarantee. Based on the food and lack of success I feel the commercials show a VERY different view than the reality. While I am very disappointed that their claims didn’t happen for me, I also realize that perhaps this particular diet isn’t for my system.

    I cancelled my Nutrisystem Uniquely Yours program today after being on the plan for a year. After following the program to the letter during the first 3 months, I lost nowhere near the weight or inches that the program touts. But I stuck with it because I thought I must be doing something wrong, I'll do better. Well, after a year of this "food", and losing only 12 pounds, I've had enough. The bread product on some of the foods (breakfast sausage/egg "English muffin") is not bread at all... I have no idea what the material is. Tasteless, weird texture, awful. The wraps, no matter how I cooked/seasoned it, are inedible.

    I ended up scooping out the filling and putting it on a real piece of bread. The frozen dinners are watery and bland. The pizzas are ok but I'm not a pizza person even if it's from the best pizzeria. I can't stand nutrition/meal bars of any kind and these bars confirmed my opinion. Some foods are ok but the overall cost of the program didn't justify the mediocre blandness of the food, the weird texture of the "bread" and the watery frozen dinners. So, I give Nutrisystem one star for its food quality and "tastiness". It's diet food. It's not tasty.

    Customer Service gets one star. I opted to "remain on the line" to speak to a customer service representative rather than receive a call-back because I have no faith in their call-back option. If you opt to remain on the line, be prepared to w-a-i-t a good 30-45 minutes while listening to the worst elevator music out there. They will tell you that the long wait is due to "high call volume" but the wait time is longer than what I would deem to be normal industry standard. Certainly not "good" customer service. When a live person finally takes your call, be prepared to be pressured to remain in the program, modify the program, explain why you like/dislike the foods you ordered, etc. They don't take "I want to cancel" well. So, one star for difficult accessibility to customer service plus high pressure sales.

    I signed up for Nutrisystem and ate their prepackaged food the first few days, along with a lot of vegetables. In two days, I lost 6 lbs. which I thought was rather excessive. When I looked up the total calories for each day, I was eating about 1,000 calories, which for someone the weighs 235 lbs, was like fasting. Regardless, to lose 2 lbs per week, they claim men should eat 2,000 calories. I decided that I am going to count calories and sodium each day, write it down, rather than follow Nutrisystem plan religiously. I also tried to cancel my auto-delivery for the 2nd month, of which they told me that I would get hit with $150 cancellation charge since I ordered online. What!! That shows me right there, they do a great job of marketing, and don't care about you or your health!

    I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service regarding the issue that I have had ants in my last 2 dry food shipments.     Positives: Nutrisystem works and it is easy and delicious. Negatives: Nutrisystem is slow weight loss, you will probably give up before you reach your goal because you will get sick of the food. Tips for Success: Add nutrition to the program, add vegetables to every meal and snack. Add high quality protein too. Add a fiber supplement to keep feeling full. Add spices and herbs. Buy extra to serve to your family when you are having a day where it is hard to stay on the program. Add exercise AFTER you've lost about 20% of your goal because it is hard to eat a restricted calorie diet when you're burning more calories and you want to eat more food. How to be Successful: It is a mindset. Think that Nutrisystem is supplying all the junk food, you have to supply the high nutrition food. When you have to add food, you add only nutritious foods. You don't add any extra junk.

    How I felt physically: I felt ok, I didn't always feel great but that wasn't always due to Nutrisystem because I had some physical problems. Things that were Nutrisystem related were that I noticed that I had a white coating on my tongue that went away after I stopped the program. It was difficult to even brush it off at night before I went to bed. I'd wake up with it too. I was hungry often on the diet, it is not a lot of food. When I would sweat, the sweat would smell like the Nutrisystem food which was not good. How I felt emotionally: Sometimes I felt isolated from other people because I avoided social events centered around food because I knew I'd eat the food. This is temporary because I just went to a food event last week and I was fine. I ate the crudite and left the chips and fried foods alone.

    What happened along the weight loss journey that surprised me: Once I lost some weight and started feeling better about myself and feeling more like "my old self", I noticed that I didn't eat the dessert/snack everyday. My son ate the ice cream treats and I didn't even notice. The Hardest Part of the Program: For me it was cooking for my family. I am an excellent cook and I continued to make delicious dinners for them. It was HARD and I would cheat with my own food. How I handled it was I made less delicious food and I bought extra Nutrisystem food and fed them Nutrisystem on the days I was having a hard time sticking to the program. Dinner times were always the hardest part.

    My favorite foods: Chocolate muffin at breakfast, tortilla soup for lunch, frozen cheese pizza for dinner, cheese popcorn for snack. I liked all the lunch soups and the peanut butter lunch bar. Lunch was always my favorite meal. Least favorite foods: I had some food I detested but the biggest complaint I have about the food is that the cubed chicken in the frozen dinners was tough, chewy and rubbery. I used to spit it out. Otherwise, I had no real complaints about the food. There was enough selection that I always found items I thought were delicious. In Conclusion: It works, it's easy and delicious. It is also slow but if you stick with it you will reach your goal. You need to add high quality nutritious foods. Bottom line: I would recommend it to anyone, particularly people who like their junk foods. It will wean you off of them. I give it 5 stars, I loved it!

    Nutrisystem has a lot of convenience with their product, which helps remove some of the mystery with calorie counting. That said, there seems to be inconsistent messaging with near-constant upsells in your purchases -- why would someone who is trying to lose weight need to be asked no less than 4 times to order additional food and beverages?

    Additionally, they tout a lot of personalization with meals and diet plans. But, when reaching out to the nutritional support line, it feels as if they did not even read my e-mail, and I can't conclude whether I received a genuine response or something boilerplate. For instance, in my initial outreach, I stated that I'm a 5'11 male that weighs 190 pounds. They had verbiage that stated "If you have more than 100 pounds to lose...". I guess Nutrisystem must be effective if they have that many 90 pound, 5'11 men in their program. I think the idea for Nutrisystem is good, but the execution makes it seem like they're just trying to capitalize on the weight loss industry rather than help people.

    I just completed the first week on Nutrisystem. I would like to suggest that you put storage information on all your boxed meals. The beginning week box had mac and cheese with turkey sausage in it and I put it in the freezer to be safe. (It took six minutes to cook). The mac and cheese which was frozen took 4 minutes to defrost when I prepared it in the microwave. My microwave works fine with other meals you have. In the interest of safety, I would like to suggest that the boxes or at least a separate sheet contain directions for storage. Even the plastic containers with beef stew, etc need explanation for safe storage.

    Dominique was so helpful, professional, and patient! I am back on track with the NuMi app. I truly want to say Dominique like Tora are both the same and they are an asset to Nutrisystem.     I started this program with an open mind and stuck to it the first week without one deviation. I was hungry, exhausted and had nagging indigestion that wouldn't subside. I started the week off with a four day long headache, and by the end of the seven days was really tired of everything chocolate. If you don't like chocolate...this might not be the diet for you. The second week started with a moldy blueberry muffin and bbq chicken paste that I could NOT bring myself to eat. After researching moldy Nutrisystem food online, I found that it was a common problem and was afraid to eat any of the pastry items. Once the bars ran out, I found that I couldn't bring myself to eat any more of the pasta items, or microwaved sandwiches/hot pockets. The indigestion continued and I eventually gave up on the whole plan. Today I received an email notifying me that I had another 4 weeks of food scheduled for delivery...which I was unaware of. I called to cancel and was charged a $125 early cancellation fee. This program is a joke. I have two weeks of my original 4 weeks worth of food left... It's up for grabs. :)

    I decided to give Nutrisystem a chance when I saw a Groupon for their core plan that included all my meals for 5 days out of the week. I was so excited to get it until I received the box. The dinners included pizzas which are basically lunchable Quality and other stuff that is even worse. I tried one of the lunches for work. It was like rice and something else and it was by far the worst thing I’ve ever had. The snacks were not anything special either. Lunch bars were okay but I can go to the store and buy myself a protein bar... Now I have all this food sitting on top of my fridge that I’ll never eat. The only thing the food would be good for is if we went to nuclear war and needed something that could last in bomb shelters. I’m so upset that I spent my money on this junk.

    After four months on the Nutrisystem plan, I achieved my weight loss goal and decided to cancel future orders. There is actually a phone menu selection number for cancellation which promptly connected me to a customer rep. He said he could help me with cancellation, but he had a few questions first. After the first question, I told him I didn't want to answer the questions and just wanted to cancel the orders. He said he would not (could not?) cancel the order unless I answered the questions. I repeated that I would not answer his questions and asked again, to cancel my order. He said, "no answers, no cancellation." I asked to speak to his supervisor. "There is no supervisor available" he replied.

    When I asked if it was because it was a Sunday and should I try again after the weekend, he replied "There probably will not be a supervisor at a later time either." He then repeated "his rules"-- no answers, no cancellation. I said OK-- he asked his questions and I gave false answers to satisfy his unbendable rules. His response was interesting-- "there, that wasn't so difficult was it?"

    Being quite angry at this point, I terminated the call and placed a new call to Customer Service. Due to a long waiting list to speak to a customer rep, I was offered the option of leaving my number and receiving a return call which I did. I then waited for 90 minutes for a return call which never came. As I said, good plan, very poor customer service.

    UPDATED February 27,2019: Nutrisystem responded quickly to my negative comments about the customer service call and committed to review the facts. Their response said “ We are going to be listening in to the call (all calls are recorded—my note) and then reach out to you here once we have reviewed it. We will also reply back with any eligible solutions/resolution for you. We thank you for letting us know about this as well, James.”

    While that sounds good, two weeks have passed with no further communication from the company. The long lag time makes me wonder how committed they are to customer service and satisfaction.

    I was excited to start the program, but when it finally arrived the box was missing many items, including the 7 day Fresh Start. I again had to wait and the order came through. Eating the food was hit or miss, some almost edible and others bland. The great shakes were chalky, not good. The ads on TV are misleading. When I called to cancel I was told there was a charge to do so, I could extend for 2 months and up to 6 but had to do it every 2 months.

    I was harassed for wanting to cancel and hung up on. No questions asked. Policy is false advertising. Let’s hope I get my full refund for returning the box (update to come). The food has GMO and is very high in sodium. My overall experience was terrible with both the product and customer service I received. I would not recommend this company for weight loss. However, if you need MRE’s for an emergency food supply kit in the event of disaster then this may be helpful.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that I received the free 5 Frozen foods you offered. As I noted in my response, I choose the Turkey Medallions and Chicken Parmigiana once again to see if the first batch was just a fluke. Well I am here to tell you it was actually worse. Let's take the Turkey dinner as an example - the photos on your website and on the box CLEARLY show 8 FULL size medallions. When I opened and cooked the dinner, there was 1 medallion and about 4-5 PIECES that made a total of AT BEST 3. NOT EVEN HALF of what you show...

    This is the most blatant false advertising and intentional misguiding of consumers. Two times in a row now this is what I have seen from your meals... That is not a co-incidence by any means. I have attached photos including the one that would show the box info. I am also copying ConsumerAffairs and will reach out to the BBB. You need to CORRECT this problem immediately. I am sorry that I will not be a Nutrisystem customer until you resolve this issue.

    I signed up for Nutrisystem thinking I was getting a 1 month supply. When I realized that it was an automatic month to month plan and that a new shipment was coming I decided to stop it. I was told by the company that since I was cancelling before the second shipment that I had to pay a $125 cancellation fee. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that was not possible. When you sign up you do not realize that this is the deal. The entire website states money back guarantee. But nowhere do they say that this is if you return within 14 days. When I asked where that was I was told in the plan and FAQs. This is not right. This information should be stated up front. My business is lost to them but I hope with this note others can be warned. Do not waste your money and be careful what you sign up for.

    Updated on 02/11/2019: Thank you for replying. No I will not return anything. The product was working to reduce my weight. My point was the person we dealt with behave like a con artist and unfortunately this type of behavior causes me to react. I repeated over and over that I did not want more than one month supply. I will be traveling for 30 days and that’s the reason I did not opt for the second food order. He said they would do the selection. He said that I would not get the discount if I only ordered 30 day supply. He said if I select the food the discount was not available. He said the company recommended that the first-order be selected by them. He repeated at least three times... When I get my order I need to contact Nutrisystem to cancel any further orders.

    I’ve done this before and in the order I received, were a lot of items that under no circumstances would I pick. I felt he had dumped a lot of slow moving inventory into my order. Repeatedly now, when I use the app, it advertises food I would have selected had I ordered. A business model that demands the first order be a mixture of some good food but a lot of crap.

    Original Review: I’m 80 years old and a diabetic. I started your program and suffered a heart attack. The food you sent you insisted upon selecting it. It is not at all the list of foods that show in other parts of your program. It looks like trash that was left in inventory and nobody really want it. I’m afraid to continue it because there’s a lot of carbohydrates and cholesterol. Please advise.     I spoke to TIM to tell him about the auto delivery that I had apparently misunderstood. At that time I told him the OFFER was to include Probiotic Shakes AND A SHAKER to make them in, included some FREE COOKIES and also that the CHOCOLATE was to be changed out to Vanilla. Tim spoke to me specifically and said he had CHANGED/EXCHANGED it all and included in the shipping the first order that was void of the Probiotic and SHAKER and FREE COOKIES. The order came with NOTHING THAT I WAS TOLD WOULD BE DONE! I am disgusted. And you want me to return and ship! This is utter garbage!

    I called to gather information about Nutrisystem. I was connected with a call center. I asked him to explain the system. He shared nothing about Nutrisystem, other than answers to the questions I had. He kept pushing the sell and continued to not share much information about Nutrisystem. I finally hung up as I felt your customer service department could have provided more information to a "wannabe" new customer. Disappointed! I wish there was a local number I could call who was interested in telling me about Nutrisystem and not a call center who is more interested in getting a sell.

    The information the call center shared did not match up to Nutrisystem's website. Example: Call-center: "If you dont like it, just call us, keep the food and we'll refund your money." Website: "14-day guarantee. If not satisfied, return the product for a refund." While I was not concerned about the guarantee, I was more concerned that the information the Call-center shared was not what the website shared. Not sure who to believe, so after numerous conflicts I finally ended my call with Call-center and chose not to purchase Nutrisystem as it all seemed too wishy-washy!!!

    I’m sorry to report that their quality of food has really gone down. I’ve been on Nutrisystem on and off for years and I have noticed that the quality of their food is not nearly as good as it was when I first started. I cannot eat and am disposing of the frozen meals with chicken because the chicken is just fatty chunks. Needless to say I will probably not be ordering any more food from Nutrisystem. This has totally turned me from wanting to eat any more of it. Whenever I receive frozen food I find a little bit of yard debris such as dirt, leaves, twigs in the bottom of the styrofoam container. I assume your food is packaged outside. I’m very disappointed. For what you charge for this food I would expect better quality.

    I decided to try NutriSystem to lose weight because it is a name I knew has been around for a while and I have known others who were successful many years ago with the plan. I am extremely disappointed. The plan is expensive already, I was fine with that as I realize I am paying for the convenience too. However, the plan is manipulative at the website, changed the cost of the food in my cart to the time payment was submitted.

    When I log in there is an area titled "My offers" but none of those discounts apply after the initial one when starting the plan - so why is that still there every time I log in? How can you have a total in the cart and charge twice the amount? I am cancelling after my next shipment which is due to ship any day now. I would cancel sooner, but I did not have time to get another plan in place so I feel stuck for another month. I will not recommend. Clearly the concern is about making money, not the people in the plan. When I called Customer Service to get my money back, the representative indicated that he has had several calls like mine and he has passed the information on. Shame on you for not fixing the issues and continuing to scam people.

    Martha ** Sevierville,TN. Is the first time in my life that I joined a weight loss program, and started with a SUPER BAD experience. I joined because I wanted something convenient, easy, great support, but Nutrisystem is none of the above. I got a box from them with frozen food, it was not label “frozen” or “keep in freezer," not even well marked with the company’s name. I thought that it was a shipment from another company and I open the box 4 days later??? You can imagine my reaction when I open it and noticed it was from Nutrisystem. Immediately I called the company and explained. The customer service representative was not helpful, short and indifferent to my situation. If one of my employees in my small company did that, as the owner, I need to be trained. "THE EMPLOYEES ARE THE REFLECTION OF THE OWNER!!!"

    Also I asked to talk to a manager, none were available. I asked for a callback, I email them twice. To this day no reply, no call, no nothing (one week). Ohh I forgot, I received 10 emails “referred a friend." I been on the program for a week, I need coaching, support, is not easy to lose weight. If you are looking for that, Nutrisystem isn’t for you!!! I haven’t even comment about the food, but the other comments give you an idea. NUTRISYSTEM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE for people that are trying to lose weight!!!

    I haven’t joined Jenny Craig but they have called me numerous times to make me an appointment for coaching and support on their weight loss program, and I haven’t purchased their food. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE, caring for the people, not only their money. Cost me $500.00 dollars to find out the kind of company that Nutrisystem is, and I have experienced the program only for a week. Don’t waste your money, time and energy, joined a program that is going to help you, support you, and care about you not your pocketbook.

    I have been a Nutrisystem customer for years and I have lost weight on it. I decided to go and make 2019 the year I lose all of my weight, especially since I'm pre diabetic and have high cholesterol. So I place my uniquely yours order at the end of 2018 for a full month of food. I open up the package of frozen selection cherry cheese roll and it is so delicious, and substantial and I've recommended Nutrisystem to all my friends and family. Well as I chew I come upon something I can’t sink my tooth into so I try again, thinking well it must be cinnamon sugar. It's ok, I chew again, then I realize I cannot chew through it and think omg is it my tooth? I take it out and yes it is the size of a tooth but it's not mine and it is ivory. I push my nail into it and it cannot be cut! I almost ingested it! I call and I now I send it in to Nutrisystem for evaluation so that no one else gets this batch and then I toss everything but a few dinner items.

    Just yesterday I pull out a frozen mac and cheese since my 5 yr old was begging for mac and cheese. I think, "Ok I saved this thinking what can go wrong with a mac and cheese meal?" Simple right? My daughter ate half and as she got towed bottom said, “Mama I don’t want anymore. There's something red in food.” I looked and it's a reddish brown skin! Then a pearl sized red mush! I am appalled! How can I feel save eating your food. How can this happen. I so badly wanted to be the next Nutrisystem success story! I am sending it in for evaluation and information on batch. I'm at a crossroad. Do I quit Nutrisystem forever? How can it be worth all money I will pay in the future if this happens? I am now disappointed and discouraged. I wish there was a resolution to this.

    The customer service at Nutrisystem is just awful. First they won’t let you choose your own meals when you sign up. They try to funnel you into their “Fresh Start” which means the first week is chosen for you. It's only 1000 calories day so they’re setting you up for failure due to hunger and the food they send is not good at all either. So I don’t trust them to choose my foods for me.

    I called in TWICE to please let me pick my own food online so I can see exactly what I'm getting. Nope you gotta do it over the phone with them. So I tell the rep, "I don’t want frozen foods (no room). Please make sure there are no frozen foods in my order." "Yes ma’am no frozen food." I even had the rep read the order back to me. Well guess what? I get an order of frozen food. Which I don’t want and don’t have room for. So I call them... "Oh so sorry... No we can't take it back." So I email Nutrisystem my complaints. 3 days ago and still no response. It is not a pleasure dealing with Nutrisystem. I'm still waiting to hear back that they give a crap about their customers.

    Although I understand you cannot please everyone's taste, the dinner selections in the Basic Plan were very disappointing. All of the pastas (which is what most of the dinners consist of) were mushy and overcooked. The lunches of soups and mac and cheese were worse. The only halfway decent items were made of beans (i.e. chilli, beans and rice, etc). If I customized my plan it would have cost me more money. But I didn't think I needed to because all of the items listed that were included in the Basic Plan I was fine with. It's when I heated and tasted them that I needed to gag on some of the mushy stuff. The loaded potatoes was the one that prompted the most gag reflexes. I wish I could get some of my money back. I believed Marie Osmond and her infomercials and that was wrong of me to do.

    About 6 months ago I called and after talking to a weight loss counselor, decided to give it a try. Never was I informed that shopping and supplementing other foods was part of the diet. In fact, I thought that I had to pay for two boxes of food not four, but that is beside the point. This time however, I decided to be more diligent with my new diet.

    After opening the boxes of food and putting it away I noticed that neither box had instructions, so I called for help. I was told that I would have to supplement the boxed foods with food from the grocery store. In other words - Not until I received and bought six (6) boxes of food was I told that I had to supplement the diet with my own food from the store. There's a huge disconnect here somewhere, and, we all have clients. I couldn't have stayed in business for the last thirty years by deceiving my clients with either wrong or withheld information. I don't want this much involvement with a diet. I want it all measured, bought, and packaged by in your case, Nutrisystem.

A day later I get a call advising me that my frozen food would be arriving in 3 days. When I called customer service to ask about this I was told the order had shipped and could not be returned. After waiting on hold for over 15 minutes, I was disconnected without my issue being resolved. Very poor customer service!

    I received gift cards for Nutrisystem. I called Nutrisystem and gave my card voucher numbers for the first month. I had a card and part of a card left ($127 worth). The salesperson I talked to said they wouldn't take the balance of my gift cards for the second month and give it to them on my next order. He then asked for my credit card as a "fail safe" so to speak. The next order shipped and I called to give my gift card info and they wouldn't take it. I told them the situation, asked them to reverse the credit card charge (which is very easy to do from their end - I was a VP of Operations at a bank) and apply my gift card. I was told it was too late as my credit card has been charged.

    They said they can't reverse the charge after it ships. Really? Sound like a scam? Since they send you an email and ship it within 48 hours after the email it doesn't give you much time, especially if you are on vacation. My salesperson didn't tell me that the card had to be given in advance. (On purpose? Does this force people into a 3rd month, or if they cancel, Nutrisystem gets the money on the unused gift card?) He also told me I would receive a reminder email several days before the next shipment in case I want to change items. I have to say this is a terrible policy and a sneaky one... Not one that makes people happy. I will be quite verbal about their company and make sure they get a larger dollar amount in negative advertising than I lost in gift cards. I canceled my plan and will go to someone else.

    The reason one might lose weight on this diet is because you can't actually eat some of the food. The blueberry muffins are molded and the preservatives in the prepackaged foods are unhealthy. There is also a lead disclaimer on the foods. I now have a gag reflex and feel terrible. It is impossible to get customer service. The webpage is not helpful. The live chat doesn't work. If you call there is no complaint department. You are forced to email them and then you get a return email telling you they are overloaded with emails and they can't respond. If you want fresh healthy foods do not order this diet and spend money on it.

    I called Nutrisystem in October and told them I had a wife with stage 4 cancer and I hadn't started the food yet and to not send any more food until I requested it. The person logging my comment said they would get back to me around the end of the year. Thereafter they sent an email Friday 12/30 on New Year's Weekend along with another 3 solicitations trying to sell me more product and then mailed out product less than 1 business day. I returned the product and they told me to throw away the frozen good and I did. I even took a picture of it in the dumpster. I even offered to take a photo of all the original product in my pantry I haven't even open from the first shipment but they declined.

    They will not refund the total mount and I'm out over $100. They are dishonest and unethical. The customer service lady was very understanding but said the public cannot speak to a supervisor. Shameful business practices... I've used Nutrisystem in the past and even recommended it to friends. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE DISHONEST.

    The food was pretty good. My reason for negative reviews is customer service was not good. Have to wait for 10 minutes after going through several prompts.     After being excited and financially able to start Nutrisystem, I had a difficult “start” with the program. I received an email notification about my very 1st package delivered. Later on that same evening, on the way from work, someone ran a red light crashing into me totaling my Jeep. Because of this accident and inability to move around in a normal capacity, the frozen portion of my delivery sat on the porch for a few days. When I finally had the opportunity to move the box and open the frozen items, I realized everything was hot, liquidized and ruined.

    I contemplated re-freezing the items and figured nothing bad would happen to me if I ate the meals. I had already paid for the items and didn’t have extra money to replace them. Imagine a person freaked out and aggravated from a car accident, trying to lose weight living a healthier life. New Year New Me... Now add on a totaled car and ruined items. At that point, I wanted the most juiciest and unhealthiest burger and fries I could find.

    After the drama settled, I decided to send an email to Nutrisystem asking about my options. To my surprise a representative responded. Nutrisystem re-shipped the Frozen portion of my order at NO COST! I was advised to discard the melted items. They also delayed my next order since I started on the plan a little later than expected. Nutrisystem is professional, accommodating sympathetic and kind. I was shocked, elated, and relieved. At the risk of sounding totally lame, I will say they made me feel like they cared and I wasn’t just a paying customer.

    Overall, my experience has been good with Nutrisystem. The only issue that I had was trying to change programs. I was grandfathered in for a program and wanted to make a small change in it. After going through three customer service people, my program had been changed never to return, it had been eliminated, and I ended up just going on Auto Delivery A la Carte. It more or less does the trick, though I pay more and still do not have what I really wanted. I think there may be a training issue and getting to a manager is impossible. I will continue on for now.     This is at least our third bad muffin. You just sent replacement muffins for the bad blueberry muffin. This one is a cinnamon bun muffin. We bought it on 1/21/19 at WallMart.     I signed up for your basic plan. Which was close to 300$. The food that I received was gross, and I was given only 10 snacks total for 1 month. The breakfast food was ok. Lunch and dinner was nasty. Like tasted like throw up. I contacted you 14 days later and you told me there was a cancelation fee. And spoke about you can send me frozen food for more money. The program doesn’t work because the food is horrible. When I contacted for a refund, you stated, "You're out of luck. No refund here." I will never order from this company. Weight Watchers is way better and actually works. I don’t recommend you at all! Weight Watchers is the way to go!

    Food was surprisingly ok. Haven't lost much weight, if any. Not all on Nutrisystem w/ the holidays. I did like some of it and plan to continue a similar diet...However, I simply wanted to check out my plan and if I had exceeded my membership requirements. I used a promo code when this began and I was informed that I had to remain a member for 3+ months otherwise I would be asked to repay the discount. I went to check if I had cleared this window, not because I wanted to cancel the membership but because I wanted to double-check. Naturally, I stumbled across one of my pet peeves. A company, who thinks frustrating their customers, is a good business strategy.

    Nutrisystem isn't the only company guilty of doing everything they can to hide the location of canceling the membership. This is a well known business tactic but one would hope you're dealing with a company that has ethics and doesn't play childish games. So I had to email just to get an answer on how. Then called the number provided and got the runaround. Then tried to cancel again on the website. Nothing. It just really goes to show how little your company values it's customer and for that reason I will not continue on as one. You're supposed to be a company where it's members are motivated, positive, etc.

    The goal for you should be to make a meaningful change in people's lives. Then when you encounter that kind of nonsense, it's clear that the insane markup on basic goods plus the cowardly manipulation of canceling the account makes this strictly about the money. Which we all know it's a business but there are plenty of options out there. You assume you hold a strong market share because of your product and the convenience it once provided that others didn't. Now it's a dime a dozen and the niche market you're targeting by using male athlete's to appeal to specific men, will only go so far if you have no respect for your customer.

    Obviously, this is intentional because the harder you make it to cancel, the quicker the customer gets frustrated, distracted or busy and then they forget to cancel. One would think, with the 90 different options/promotions and pop-ups to enroll, it would be equally as easy to find how to cancel. That's not realistic, though, is it? Who would want to make it easy for their customer to cancel? Which is why Nutrisystem will not get a dollar from me or anyone I know.

    I was pleased with my Nutrisystem experience. I lost my weight month 1 and wanted to cancel. I was told by "Todd" that I hadn't canceled in time and that my next month's supply was already on its way. Interestingly, the email that I received did not contain a "cancel-by" date. Todd miraculously was able to cancel my shipment, though he previously had said it had already been shipped.

    When I told him I wanted to cancel, he went to script trying to convince me to continue. When I stood my ground, he told me that I was going to be charged a $125 cancellation fee. Then he hung up. The products are good and the plan is solid. I wish I could give Nutrisystem a thumbs-up, but the customer service made me feel as if I had been caught in a scam. I would eventually have ordered more as needed, but this experience made me not want to engage again. Respect your product; respect your customers.

    I signed up ordering one month of food. They sent me an email on Sunday notifying of another shipment. I called Monday morning and spend over an hour on the phone between two Program Consultants and Customer Service trying to cancel the order. They poorly disclosed that I was on an auto renewal and I had to pay $125 to cancel. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they gave me a runaround. The plan is poorly disclosed and borders on bait and switch. Don't ever do business with them!!!

    I am only on day 4 of the 4 week plan (from QVC), and I like the food (lasagne sort of exploded in my microwave). Only issue I have is that I can't quite down 64 oz. of water each day. I can do about half that much (and am peeing very often and a lot). I also am not a veggie fan, but am trying to choke them down. I do work out at a gym 4-5 days a week. Fingers crossed that I will be able to lose on this plan, I'm just worried that not drinking 64 oz. of water will affect how much weight I will lose. By the way, the shakes that come with the kit are very tasty!!

    Hi, I messed up the first day and mixed up all the food including the "Open This Box First", but I called and the nice young man sent me a copy of everything that was in the box so I was able to sort things through and I'm on track. However, I must say not much to eat. I had one tiny muffin for breakfast, a drink at 10am, and then a small soup at lunch and that is as far as I've gotten on the program. I'm hungry and it's a change from 2 eggs, two toast, bacon, potatoes and jam for breakfast. Quite a change. I hope my hunger will subsist in time. I'm drinking the 8 glasses of water per day though it's not my favorite and the man told me not to drink a lot of coffee or diet pot. Wow. This is strict. Maybe in time, I'm being very positive.     Item previously reported to Customer Service via email: Ice Cream Sandwich Lot #: **. The torn wrapper was discovered inside the sealed styrofoam shipping box, suggesting it was torn when being placed into the styrofoam container (the container wasn't damaged). Since reporting the torn wrapper on the ice cream sandwich to Customer Service, I opened the 7 Day Starter Kit today to begin my diet. In the box I found a torn blue paper lid on the following item: Three Cheese Chicken in 7 Day Starter Kit Lot #: **.

    FYI, the 7 Day Starter Kit box wasn't damaged in the least. However, the shape of the Three Cheese Chicken bowl was flat on one side, suggesting it had been damaged prior to being but in the box. The tear in the blue paper lid of the Three Cheese Chicken was apparently caused when the item was squeezed which flattened one side of it. I'm satisfied if you simply add an additional ice cream sandwich and Three Cheese Chicken to my next shipment which is supposed to be sent within a month.

    I was successful in losing weight with the first week of Nutrisystem, but the price of the program is way more than I can afford. The sales representative wouldn’t let me cancel, kept trying to sell me things. Finally he revealed that I was on auto ship and would have to pay over $200 to cancel since I received a “discount” for selecting auto-delivery even though I read on the website that there was no commitment. So now I’m stuck paying $200 for nothing, or getting another very expensive package of food I don’t want.

    This company seems more concerned with their bottom line than the customer’s health and happiness and I am making sure everyone I knows not to get involved with Nutrisystem now that I know it’s impossible to quit the service. My entire opinion on this company has gone out the window due to this very sneaky attempt to make more money. I will NEVER use this company again and will strongly warn others to stay away unless you want to be bamboozled.

    I was very excited to join Nutrisystem. I had tried many other weight loss programs, diet pills and exercise plans but nothing seemed to work for me.     The program can work, but the customer service is horrible, and the company is very inflexible. A lot of the food options are not good, and it takes a while on the plan to figure out when you like and can stick with. The old calorie counting app was good, but their new app is slow and needlessly gimmicky and makes it too hard to stick with counting calories on it. I suggest a different app. I was charged for two orders when I only ordered one, and they did not give me the option of returning the food as it was frozen. Their main phone number is broken and does not accept the required numpad inputs to talk to anyone. You have to find an alternate phone number.

    I have been on the phone with Nutrisystem for 47 minutes trying to cancel an order. The salespeople keep pushing even though I said we hated the product (who eats pizza with cheese that you don't have to refrigerate?)... and it didn't work. She just kept pushing. The food is gross and the portions are tiny. I got transferred back and forth from sales to customer service 4 times. They want to charge me $250 to cancel my order. THIS IS INSANE. I was looking for an easy way to lose weight but this is NOT it. You are way better off doing Whole30 or just eating healthy and working out. They just care about $, not your well being. Stay away!

    I decided to try Nutrisystem because my in-laws had good results from it. I did not like the taste of their food. I know that I would not stick to this plan if I did not like the taste so I called to cancel. The conversation with customer service was very frustrating. For 15 minutes they kept me on the phone trying to get me to continue with it or change my plan and order food that I selected. I didn’t want to do that because there wasn’t anything in the starter pack that I liked well enough to want again. To cancel I have to pay $125 because I didn’t call within 14 days, even though I sent an email asking them to cancel my plan within the 14 days. I didn’t expect a refund but I don’t think that I should be charged a fee either! They would not accept the email and said I had to call. Now I know why.

    Update on 01/22/2019: Wow. After complaining here about the fact that I don’t receive any emails warning my order is about to ship but the emails charging my card always manage to come through, it has just happened again. So once again, I have to spend time calling Nutrisystem to make sure they don’t ship another box I don’t need yet. They should really have a better system so that people can better manage their needs, think an Amazon app, but I guess that would give the customer too much power and visibility. Do not do auto refill. They will charge your card without notice and without sending emails warning an order is about to ship. I hate having to do this over and over again! Why not let the customer select the date for shipment when they sign up?

    Original: I like the food and it works for me but I don’t like the fact that they charge my card without notice every single time. I only get emails confirming an auto order has been placed. Not sure how they calculate their times for auto ship since I get these confirmation emails when I haven’t even opened the previous box. So I am done with them because I am tired of my card being charged when I don’t need more food and having to call and spend lot some of time with them trying to fix the issue. Not sure why they don’t simply provide email notices before the box ships. If you do this plan, DO NOT use auto delivery. They are trigger happy charging your card which is extremely annoying. Nutrisystem, you should do better and have better and more upfront practices.

    I recently (12/2018) started receiving SPAM to the email address I used exclusively with Nutrisystem. I notified customer service, but I don't think the message ever made it to their IT department. I'm convinced that they have had a data breach and are either unaware of it, or trying to ignore it. From what I can tell it only seems related to email addresses, the SPAM doesn't seem to know anything more about me (name, address, cc no), but it is hard to tell.

    Nutrisystem also has a terrible "cart". It can be influenced by so many areas (Numi, Special Offers, A-la-carte) that it's actually pretty easy to get over $100 of product delivered for less than $30 if you find the loopholes. Of course with that instability comes the inevitable chance that you will be charged something other than what it said on the screen when you hit submit. Customer service in this respect is great and will compensate you for the cart errors, but make sure you take screenshots so you know what you should have been charged in the first place.

    As far as the food and the program go; the food is actually quite decent, and the program does work - but you need to stick to it! Oh and one last thing... Join the Numi program, they regularly give better discounts than the regular Nutrisystem site and they often give away free items for feeding them data. Just be aware that the Numi app is actually pretty terrible, especially if you're on a less structured program (e.g. Success).

    I thought I would try the program in order to shed 8-10 lbs. I placed an order and mistakenly understood that I could cancel the subsequent auto-delivery as one CAN do with Medifast. I did call shortly after the first order was delivered, told the agent that I didn't like the plan, but was talked into delaying the next order for a while. Out of the blue I received an email telling me that the next order is already on the way. I tried to get it stopped, but all I got was a lecture about how I agreed to the original terms. Now I'm stuck with a new bill for $360 right at Christmas...for food that I DO NOT WANT, and a bunch of frozen crap to fill up my freezer. My bad for not understanding their ridiculous terms for their over-priced food, but What a disgusting way to do business & rip off the public!

    I received my first order of Nutrisystem and found that things were missing from the box right away, e.g. the shaker bottle for the shakes. After a week of eating prepackaged, mostly unpalatable meals, I decided to go another route for weight loss. I read in the policy that if you cancel before the first 14 days, there is no extra charge, yes they actually threaten to charge you extra for leaving. So I called customer service and the first man I spoke to was rude and unapologetic for missing items. They begin by trying to save the sale, which is a normal tactic for lots of companies, but the way they go about it is unnerving, they fat shame. Then when he found I was still going to cancel he said “ok so I’m going to charge you 125$.”

    When I read him the policy it was a 30 minute argument on basically how I was wrong and he was right. So I hung up. I called back and a woman answered. Her voice was calming and apologetic at first. When I told her I was cancelling, the fat shaming ensued. She was a pro at it too. Then she too stated how she would charge me a 125$ cancellation and refused to even discuss the policy. I asked her to send me a return slip in the mail because I was done discussing the matter. The entire five minutes she took preparing the cancellation slip she fat shamed! Dear lord this company scared the bejesus out of me!

    My husband has a high stress job with long hours. He wanted something that would be easy to do, and not take up too much time on his part. Nutrisystem said they could do that. He ordered it, and quickly realized that he had to prepare a menu, and buy the food needed to supplement the plan. He then found out that because he is diabetic that he could not do the first week protocol, which he wasn't told before ordering. This is all taking a lot of time to prepare and figure out, two things that he specifically did not want. Then came the food. Very processed, does not taste good. He went to the app for help, it was a lot of marketing, and very little help.

    He called customer service for assistance, and they told him not to use the app (what?), and to use the quick start guide he received, a small booklet, with very basic information. He told them that he doesn't have a lot of extra time, and doesn't need more stress, and that he doesn't like the food. Customer service was not listening to his concerns, and kept trying to sell him on the program. They finally told him that if he couldn't continue, it would be an extra 125.00 to cancel, but he could send back the unopened food that was not frozen to help offset that cost. At this point he has been on the phone for 30 minutes, and said he would try to continue. After a few more days of struggling with the plan and the food, he was done. He called back and got the same marketing and harassment that he got the first time.

    They insinuated that he didn't want to put in the hard work that it takes to diet. Instead of accepting that their program was not what he was told it would be. He asked to talk to another person, and was told he could not. He packed up his non frozen food, (we have a freezer full of frozen still) and sent it back. Depending on what the credit is for the food he sent back, he is out approximately 500.00 for nothing but a horrible experience. Take your time, and make sure this is exactly what you want before you sign up.

    I did Nutrisystem for three orders or three months. The food was amazing especially the frozen food. During this period, I started walking and still continue to do, 30 minutes a day. I have been off the diet for a few months and have since lost a few more pounds. Why? It's simple I have learned to eat differently and make better choices. The men's book that was sent with each order is my go to book and sort of my bible. I carry it everywhere and when I'm out with friends for a meal I choose from the flex meals.

    I would cut the label from various breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and paste it in a book. When looking to substitute something that is similar in Calorie, Fat and Protein it makes it easier for me to do. I lost a total of 33 pounds and feel terrific. I weigh myself every few days and like with any diet once you are eating regular and not diet food you have to watch.     My wife decided give Nutrisystem another try (she did it a couple years back and had a little success). On the first shipment they send her a whole week worth the food she didn't pick or want and had no say about not sending (turbo week). She is a picky eater so she is limited on what she will eat to begin with. This time all the food she liked last time did not taste the same as before and so she decided it wasn't for her. So she calls and cancels and they charge $125 on top of the $357.98 that was paid for the first order for 3 weeks worth the food.

    I talked to the representative on the phone and he told me that we had to physically click a box to agree to terms and conditions that you would buy 2 months before canceling. Looking back on the site it is all the way down but not a box to check. Unfortunately now we are out 482.98 for three weeks of food. Just hoping this helps out other people from losing out on all this money on a program that doesn't have very good food/snacks.

    I choose the plan where I could select my food. Without exception the food was dry, tasteless. High in calories, and had terrible texture. It was hard to find a package I could consume and I picked things I enjoy. The pasta was mush and the sauce was bitter. When I chose snacks they tasted like cardboard. Could not continue after two weeks and I had gained a pound while following instructions. Do not waste your money on this horrible experience.

    Be very careful about trying Nutrisystem in Canada. Exchange rate makes prices high and on top of that if you are not happy with the service there is no option to return! I am locked into a minimum of two months or they will charge me $170 American to cancel early. I did not know this signing up but apparently I did not read the fine print. Overall my experience with Jenny Craig was much better. As far as weight loss I’m not sure but customer service is definitely lacking.

Gonna have to donate this crap to someone. Feel bad already for that person. All the marketing in the world cannot mask word of mouth. Very unhappy, and more frustrated. Oh and by the way, I have to keep track of shipping, to ensure the credit is done, 7-14 days. WTF.

    My concern was not addressed! I totally understand the range of days it can take to receive an order. My concern was I was given 4 different dates~ Fri, 11/30, Tuesday, 12/4..then Friday, 11/30!     I’ve done Nutrisystem twice and lost 65 pounds the first time and 14 pounds the second. I only needed to lose a few pounds the second time. The food is a lot better the second time around considering a 10 year difference in ordering. The only complaint I have is the customer service when canceling. I called twice and both times they are rude and acted like it’s an inconvenience for them. Remember a customer speaks to others and either can recommend or not recommend. Customer service is very important to me.

    I ordered Nutrisystem for the first time after seeing good reviews. I only wanted to try for 30 days to see if it works for me. On November 22, I saw another charge of $252.22 to my checking account. I called Nutrisystem. After waiting for almost an hour on the phone, I finally spoke to a representative. I told him my account was charged for the 2nd order while I only wanted to try 30 days. He said to cancel, I have to pay $125 cancellation fee which I wasn't aware of and which is not mentioned clearly on their website. I was very upset and felt unfair. The program does not work for me after three weeks I strictly followed. This is a total waste of money and do not order from this company ever again.

    In theory these folks have found a successful way to lose weight. Lost weight doing this food plan. But when I stopped and used the same principles, I continued to lose weight for 1/4 the price. Pi= (you name it, but the equation ends with Nutrisystem makes money and in the long run you gain weight until you come back for the temporary cure.)

    When I opened my pantry order, there was a white powder all over everything. As I sorted the order and began to clean up the mess I realized the white powder came from a crushed loaded potato container. It appears to have been packed in that condition because it was in its own slot with no exterior crushing. Please replace it with the same item in my next order. I have taken pictures of the crushed item.

    I have just been informed that it is going to cost me another $125, to cancel the auto delivery that I feel was not represented well by your website. I was real happy with your program until I saw my email this morning that said you were shipping another $397 in food which I had not ordered. I had assumed that I didn’t have to read the fine print when dealing with a reputable company as yourself. Your representative had to guide me through the website and show me exactly what to click on so I could see this unscrupulous way of doing business.     I tried the program for several months but I did not get the results I had hoped for so I canceled.     I enrolled in Nutrisystem for a one month supply. At the end of the month I was notified that a follow on order of a one month's supply was going to be shipped to me with another debt to my bank for another month's charges. I called Nutrisystem and said I had not authorized another month's supply. I was informed that my price was based on a follow on order. I said that I had not been informed of that when I placed my order. I was offered a two weeks supply at half the cost if I agreed. I accepted this offer but said I would not accept any further orders after the two week's supply I agreed to.

    Recently I was informed that another shipment was on the way. I called and protested to its shipment, but received it the next day. I called to say I wouldn't accept it, but found that I had already been billed for it. I called to protest the charge and even agreed to accept the shipment for a final time if my account was credited 50%. This was refused, and I was further told that Nutrisystem would not accept a return of the frozen goods. In short, don't be fooled by Nutrisystem's promises, as they will keep shipping orders and billing your account for them.

    I think the system works great, the food is good and it has helped me lose a few lbs. But I do have 1 complaint. The canisters of protein do not have the amount of (scoops) that they say they do, the protein shakes are very tasty, and when I called in to tell the representatives that I was always getting shorted they always sent me another at no charge. But I did get tired of having to do that so I just don’t order it anymore.

    I was unable to continue the program due to health reasons. I wrote emails trying to cancel to no avail. I called in on 11/15/18 and the person on the line was insisting on selling me something to keep me from cancelling after I already explained that I had to cancel due to health reasons and I needed to get to work. He really upset me because I felt like he was determined to get something from me instead of just cancelling my order! He then put me on hold after he eluded to the fact that I wanted to get the order cancelled which meant he would have to be the one to do it.

    When he came back on the line, he informs me that the order had been cancelled and that the $125 fee would be waived for me. Why couldn't he have done that from the beginning of the conversation instead of making me angry first? The confirmation number is #**. I really don't know if he took care of it or not. I just wasn't expecting this from Nutrisystem. When I first ordered the program I provided my credit card number in good faith, not for it to be held hostage if I didn't want to continue the program. Just wanted to let someone know that I did lose 6 pounds before I had to cancel and it was for a legitimate reason, but the cancellation process needs improvement.

    Didn't really answer my question. I emailed because I couldn't get through on chat. I asked if since Greek yogurt is listed as a Powerfuel, would Greek yogurts that I had added as custom items as PFs count as a PF in the new challenge. And that in 2 days of the challenge I had eaten 3 Greek yogurts, 2 servings of cottage cheese, and a Turboshake, but it only listed 2 PFs even though it listed 2 days. They just said sometimes the counts don't show up right but enter things anyway.

    Just tried to cancel an ala carte order online, and kept receiving an error message that I had to call in to cancel. I can order online but I have to call in to cancel an order - that is what the representative told me. I will not do business with a company that intentionally makes it difficult for them to lose some money by making it extremely difficult for me. I believe I have to take one more auto-delivery before I can cancel (and tried to do that on the phone, but was told I will have to call back after the order is shipped to cancel - can't do it now.) I will be calling back to cancel. Scummy, slimy business practices turn me off.

    I started the Nutrisystem diet 10 days ago and am completely satisfied with it. When I saw the pictures of the delicious meals on t.v. I couldn't believe it could be that good, but it is. Very delicious prepared portions for each meal and snack. There are unending varieties of foods and all very delicious, healthy and filling. I lost 7 pounds already and don't have any problems sticking to the diet. Because of the diet, I've learned that it's important to eat sensibly all the time. 6 portions every day makes it possible. The frozen meals came with FedEx with dry ice to keep it frozen and the other package came a day earlier. I got updates all the time to be sure not to miss the deliveries. I recommend this diet to anyone, who wants to lose weight sensibly.
