    I quit program after developed intolerance to gluten. Even though I was told I would receive refund for unused product, when I tried a return the items were sent back to me, stating that statement regarding refund was a mistake and no money would be coming. Program misrepresents and lies.

    I tried Nutrisystem and thought the food was pretty good, but within 4 weeks, I started having hot flashes and mystery symptoms. I did not immediately associate it with the food. I canceled it, and a few years later decided to try the snack foods for convenience. This is when I realized I was allergic to Soy, I started having major nasal congestion, and felt horrible, eating just one bar. Anyone who may have food sensitivity needs to comb through these ingredients. It is loaded with Soy. They are pretty expensive, and the food plan is not realistic at all. Just start eating Clean or Whole 40.. It will work way better than being hungry on portion sizes of baby food jars..

    This is an easy, no-brainer weight loss plan. With all meals and snacks provided, there is no guess work in the eating plan. I stick with the Frozen Foods option and find the meals are very tasty and palatable. I order online 2 weeks at a time, and the meals are usually delivered within 5 days. I make a large, fresh salad several times a week, and eat a small one daily with my dinner. The snacks are very good, and enjoying one after dinner, is very satisfying. I found I have lost the amount of weight that is stated in their advertising. This diet calls for slight to moderate exercise, but you still lose weight without burning out at a gym. Also, you can buy "Gift Cards" at Costco to purchase the food online, which says you approximately 55% off the regular price.

    The plan is easy. It’s fairly reasonably priced (although somewhere down the line they reduced the snacks from 3 to 1 a day), if you join while the plan is discounted. The food is varied, some actually very good and some is just ok. When you see the portion sizes we should be eating, the weight problem becomes quite clear, eat less, eat better. I have recommended the program to my friends.

    I have had a very bad experience for this small order which was just a replacement for some defective popcorn boxes. I got an e-mail that it has been shipped but the tracker on your site did not have any tracking for a week after. I called customer service and I was on hold for 46 minutes before I got a live person on the phone. She told me it was shipped with DHL (even though tracking on your site takes me to FedEx site) and gave me a very long tracking number WHICH IT WAS AN ERROR AND I STILL CAN'T TRACK. I am not about to call again and wait in line for an hour to NOT resolve my issue. I am very disappointed. I used Jenny Craig for the past 20 years to keep in shape when I gained 5-8 lbs and I switched and was happy with the result but customer service is very important; I switched from JC because of their recent bad customer service.

    Nutrisystem was at one time a decent program and reasonably priced. Unfortunately that is no longer true. They advertise a 28 day plan however they only provide 20 days of food and leave you on your own for 8 days. Why not be honest and advertise the 20 day plan. They now add an additional $10 packaging fee. They charge more for the mens 20 day plan than the advertised $227 which is for the womans plan only. On TV they advertise 2 months for the price of 1 month, however they charge over $600 for the first month. Being deceptive discredits them as a company. Why not be honest!

    This does work, but the food gets boring. If you can stand the food over and over, it will work for you. Costco also has discount gift cards for this. Makes it easy to pay for.

    The worst customer service I have experienced. You double charged my card. I have been put on hold for literally over 2 hours, transferred, disconnected and your agents have no clue unless they are getting a sale/placing an order. The wait time on hold is ridiculous. You need better taring and more staff. It is impossible to get through and every time I did no help was provided. I like the product but will likely cancel because your service is the worst. Unbelievable and apparently based on what I am seeing online horrible service is apparently what you specialize in.

    I ordered from QVC before this order many years ago and the food selection was good, no complaints. So I ordered again in July or August 2019. The dinners were practically all the same except for pizzas...all kinds of pasta with a bad tasting tomato sauce. There was 1 beef stew, 1 sesame ginger chicken and 1 chicken alfredo...12 dinners all with some kind of tomato base. Breakfasts & lunches were ok. I was very disappointed to say the least.     I went on Nutrisystem because they say you will lose 13 pounds and 7 Inches in your first month or your money back! Well two weeks in and I only lost 1 pound and not only that I did not have enough meals to finish the month. No one told me that on top of the 322 dollars I paid I would also have to provide some of my own meals twice a week. So, I called to cancel within the two weeks and was told I had to pay to send the unused product back or be charged 125 dollars more! Where is the money back guarantee? So disappointed! Talk about fake advertising!

    I signed up for Nutrisystem last week because I need to lose 15 lbs, what lured me in was the advertisement buy one get one free, not the case! I saw I would be charged another fee in September when I thought the second month was free. I called and spoke to woman who I now wished I knew her name. I asked why I would be charged in September when I signed up for the buy one get one free. She got very defensive and explained that regular price would have been 572 dollars for one month but I got it for half that which is 286.00 which supposedly is 50 percent off the monthly cost.

    First of all that is not getting 2 for the price of one, I told her that was misleading and who in their right mind would actually pay over 500 a month for the so called real price! I was just merely trying to say that the add 2 for 1 was very misleading, I was very nice about it but she continued to get very defensive about it and then she said she had to put me on hold, well, unfortunately for her, she thought she put me on hold but she didn't and I could hear her badmouthing me to her co workers!!! How I was arguing with her and chewing her ear off about the 2 for one and so on.

    I could hear every word she said and I kept yelling on the phone that I could hear every word she was saying but evidently she didn't hear me because she kept right on badmouthing me to her co workers, she never did get back on the line, and I finally hung up, I guess that's what their employees do when they don't want to listen to what you have to say!!! In the future Nutrisystem, I would suggest you have training for your employees to learn how to put people on hold so the customers don't hear you badmouthing them to their co workers!! Very rude and unprofessional!!!

The ad says we are here for you, but doesn't say when they are there for you. I do not want to continue this program, I can not afford it.     I have been on the Nutrisystem plan in the past and as I have returned now I was surprised, and not pleasantly so, that you have cut back on the food offered, suggesting flex/replacement meals on a regular basis. Yes, there were flex meals when I last was on Nutri, but not nearly as much. The current plan basically calls for us to do a flex meal everyday which I suggest is far too much. I understand you want clients to not completely rely on Nutri food but be ready to go back to 'real food.' However, this is definitely excessive and, frankly, appears disingenuous to charge the amount you do and only give 20 of each meal category for a month's worth of food.

    Obviously, you need to make a profit but to suggest you are trying to 'help' the customer to 'learn how to eat real food' and basically receive 11 days less of each food category, essentially 44 meals/snacks which we have to flex. Not impressed with how you have done this. I will do my second month but would not likely to do Nutri again... don't feel you are treating us fairly. It's a lot of money to feel we have been 'short changed.'

    Our program is configured to leave out 6 breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for the month (8 breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks in your 2nd and subsequent orders). This will allow you to practice making healthy meals on your own or if you have an upcoming event, there is no need to worry about getting back-logged on your food. We understand that this can be stressful and nerve-racking when trying to make healthy meals on your own.

    I know everyone finds something that works for them. I have tried everything, surgery, urine injections from pregnant women, Weight Watchers multiple times, calorie counting, Jenny Craig was a huge failure and I had given up. The app makes it so easy, the food is good! You do have to learn portion control, but that was needed or I wouldn't be 2 sizes larger! The app makes it so easy, it's the best app I have used on any program. The best part is, I had 2 simple questions and I called customer service. They couldn't have been nicer and more assisting!     Dinner choices are slim. Our favorites in Frozen are Roast Turkey Medallions, Meatloaf Sandwich, Sausage & Turkey Pizza; Dry include BBQ Seasoned Chicken and Meatballs in Marinara Sauce. We have tried around 75% of what is on your list. We cannot tolerate most of the pasta and rice dishes as they are mushy after microwaving or oven cooking. It would be great if you had a new dinner menu.

    Absolute worst experience ever! Customer Service is a joke!! They lie and tell you they will do something to fix whatever issue you have and then they do not fix it. Everyone there is trained to pull the wool over your eyes. They basically run you around in circles till you are so frustrated you have to get off the phone!!!! Don't get sucked into this scam, it is unbelievable how crafty and snakeish they are ... They don't care a dime about you, all they care about is getting your money! WOW!     Absolutely the worst most disorganized company to deal with. When you finally get someone on the phone after spending half of your day calling all different number with all automated system and you enter the promontory and it repeats the same things over and over again like you never made any selection is completely ridiculous. When a person gets on the phone they yell at you, do not acknowledge your problem and without letting you know connect you back to the automated system is completely unacceptable behavior. You don’t get complete shipment for over a month after ordering, food was terrible, crumbled and mushed up Pkgs and incorrect items. Zero counseling is provided and no guide on what to eat on off days and supplement food for my teenager. Complete disappointment and zero results was the outcome. Nutrisystem employees are horrible and have no customer service courtesy and zero empathy.

    I used gift cards and a discount code to get 50% off, as advertised on their website. Apparently, in the terms and conditions, it states $125 cancellation fee is due at time of cancellation if you fail to cancel before the next shipment is sent out. You cannot cancel online, you must call in person. I changed my cc # and assumed that would be sufficient to halt my service. Well a robot called me every other day for 3 months until I called to cancel today. I was considering Nutrisystem for the future, as I think the product works and they make it convenient, but cancelling was made VERY inconvenient. For that, I will never be your customer again.

    I found the food to be very tasty if cooked properly. I chose the Core plan and select the food items I want. In 6 months, only 3 items have been substituted due to out of stock. Because I live in hot country, 4 of my items came in melted. I called and the items were replaced immediately and shipped at no charge.     First the frozen food arrived first, two days before the dried food. So I started on the frozen, not knowing about the first. Open this box for the start of the last week. Very confusing, and when I tried to call, there was no answer so I tried the second number which connected me with SOUTH BEACH DIET PEOPLE which was not what I needed.

    Today I get an email that indicates that my next shipment will be arriving soon. Fortunately there was a phone number and I called and canceled the frozen food forever and will work with the dried food for a couple of months. Your frozen food container is a big problem because it is nearly impossible to break down for recycling. Mailing it to Mass. is not an option. I'm 89 years old and this was a big problem. I will try the dried food for one more month and want to cancel it for any further distributions to me. I would not recommend this to any of my elderly friends as it is too complicated especially when things arrive piece meal and you are not sure of what you should be doing. Sincerely, Rita

    You folks were great in getting a replacement order to me. I was involved with Nutrisystem 10 or so years ago. At that time, frozen options did not exist. Each month's shipment contained 3 snacks, AM, PM and before bed, and Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for 7 days a week. I learned to sort and count all items so I could sort and store them for use. The 7 day beginning box was quite familiar. The packing list indicated I should have 15 B, L & D + 30 Snacks. I found 12 Dinners, 14 Lunches, 15 Breakfasts and 32 Snacks. The young lady I spoke to said she is sending the missing meals. Your quick response are appreciated!

    First of all, understand there is a 2-month required membership - you must buy two months worth of food before you can cancel, should you want to. I suppose it's possible I am too texture oriented, but I found the breakfast cereal, some of the breakfast and snack bars to be gritty and like chewing tree bark. I threw it all away. There were only a few items that tasted decent to my palate, those were the muffins, and the chili and chicken noodle soup - both of which I can buy at the store with low sodium.

    After the first month, drinking only water, one cup of coffee per day and their shakes, I lost 2 lbs. And I think that's because I only ate half of what was in the package before throwing it out and filling in with broccoli, which is a gassy vegetable as you know. The shakes are not anywhere near as good as Atkins. The portion sizes are simple to figure out to do yourself. 1/2 cup of breakfast cereal, no more than 1 cup of food on a small plate. As long as you don't eat high calorie foods like cake and pie, you can lose weight just by your own portion control and it won't cost you $300 per month.

    When I tried the frozen food the second month, by the time I got home everything had thawed. (Arizona) I had to toss that too. When asked by customer service if I called and told them so they could redeliver, I said, "What's the point - it's going to thaw out again, it's only hotter now." I will say that my experience with customer service was good. Except that after ordering my second month, I told them to be sure and cancel my membership, and they didn't. They hit my PayPal with another $300 and I had to call again to stop it before it shipped. I did receive a cancellation confirmation. I'm going back on the low carb diet with portion control - that worked best for me.

    First of all, the meal plan was labeled as clean. My goal was to get leaner, I am not obese, just sick of preparing all those meals myself. After dropping $270 on a month worth of food (seemingly good price) I get a box full of what tastes like repackaged MRE food (for any combat vets out there). The dinners span from Chef Boyardee to TV dinner levels of quality. Almost everything they give you is carbs, high fructose corn syrup, and sodium drenched. They think they can call it healthy by giving you half of a handful of food for each meal and telling you to just eat vegetables (sold separately). I felt worse about 3 days into the "diet". You can feel the sugar and carbs as they make you sluggish.

    Ok, so the meals are terrible, I've established that. That is not even the worst part of this scam. Try to cancel. Not an easy process. You will have to call in and speak to some idiot that grills you about your identity as if you are trying to get a security clearance. After you get through their spiel, you find out that they will charge you $125 just for cancelling. Then they talk down to you when you question that BS saying "Now if you read your contract..." I didn't read a contract. I ordered a product, I paid, and found out I was put on an auto-re-order.

    Oh, by they way, if you want to get rid of some of the more disgusting things that they send you, should you endure another month, it's $25 extra, and most of the good stuff is on back order. I did a little more research on them before writing this just to be thorough. They have fake reviews on their site, but you cannot even show all reviews or read the negatives. I'm trying to save you money. Just get some vegetables on your own, you will have to buy them anyway, and it will save you a ton of money. Avoid this scam. Clean eating my **.

    Absolutely terrible customer service. I have been a customer for many years. Several months ago Nutrisystem me had technical issues with the website and wiped all my orders. When the orders came back, the price was not restored! I contacted the company numerous times asking for resolution. The customer service reps are rude and hung up the phone the minute they hear what the issue is. Then I tried via email. I keep receiving the standard response that the company will look into it and "you will hear from us in few days". It has been months and I have not heard from the company and the issue is not resolved. I cannot order food until the price is restored to what I had on my auto delivery orders for years. I'm extremely frustrated as a loyal customer and very very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I don't know what else to do to get the company to fix the issue they themselves created!!

    I was planning on ordering from Groupon but when I called the customer service number they told me they would match then beat whatever Groupon was offering. I placed my order and was charged $259.98 when I was promised 159.99 since that was the Groupon offer. This last time I was charged $284.98 and told only 3 days ago the charge would be $214. I am very upset with this company and I feel they take advantage of people and assume we don't check out cc bill.

    I was a skeptic!! Going on a cruise in November and want to lose 20#; On this program almost two weeks (minus 5# already); food is excellent in my opinion and well worth the money. I dealt directly with the company and found pricing is better with them than on TV; less than 9$/day. A bargain when you compare the price of meds needed to deal with obesity. I'm 84 - looking forward to life. Also retired RN so I'm careful about health related issues.

    I like Nutrisystem very much and have had success over the years. Several years ago a lot of my favorite meals were changed into pouch packaging. This makes preparation unpleasant: Messy for sure; Unable to get all the food out of the package; Not easy to doctor it to my taste. Feel exactly the same with meals in cups needing water & heating to prepare. When food comes in standard meal packages to be heated in oven (even if added water is required), it is much preferable and enjoyable to prepare. Surely other members have commented on this.

    I was on Nutrisystem for about 5 months several years ago. I was very satisfied with the plan and it worked for me. I rejoined a few months ago and asked for the same plan again. I wanted the plan where I was able to pick any meals I wanted, including all the frozen meals I wanted. When I first called, I was given the information and price and told the CS representative, I would pick my meals and call back with a list. It was only a day or two when I called back. I picked the breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack items for my first month. I was expecting my jump start week box along with my delivery.

    When I didn’t get it, I called. I was told the plan changed a few days ago and I would no longer get 6 days of food and the 7th day would be flex meals. Now the plans only had 5 days of food with 2 flex meals. I was not informed that what I was told I would get was not available if I waited a couple of days. Not only did I get 16 less meals, (4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 4 dinners & 4 snacks) they didn’t send me the jumpstart box. That ruined my weight loss. I did stay on the diet for a few months, but my weight loss was really slow and I was not satisfied with the new plan.

    I quit the program after 3 days so I have no idea if the weight loss claims are valid. The reason I quit was due to customer service. I called C.S. to inquire why my first month shipment only consisted of 15 days meals. I was told by agent Anna that I am supposed to supplement the program food with my own food. This was never mentioned in any advertising or anywhere on the order website. That was bad enough but even that did not trigger my quitting. What really burned my corn flakes was Anna's completely erroneous statement that the plan I bought was a 50% discount on the first month's food and full price thereafter. What I actually bought was 2 months for the price of 1.

    The $297 I paid was supposed to be for the first month with the second month free (you can see Marie Osmond on the commercial saying exactly that). Anna told me that the $297 was actually a 50% discount on the first month and that the 2nd month would be over $400. NONE of this is mentioned anywhere in their advertising. I believe Anna's information was completely incorrect. She stumbled and fumbled initially not knowing what plan I signed up for. After several holds she came back and gave this fabricated B.S. A thoroughly distasteful experience (no pun). P.S. My entire conversation with Anna was recorded on my phone if there is any claim of "misunderstanding".

    In the past I have never had issues with my Nutrisystem orders but this time that wasn't the case. I had meals missing off my frozen shipment. The meals missing from my frozen order portion are items are: 2 cinnamon buns, 1 hamburger, and 1 meatloaf burger. Also when I received my box of ready to eat meals I noticed I had someone else's invoice in my box which alarmed me. All my items seem to be accounted for in that order but I just don't like that someone else has my information.     I would make the following suggestions:

    1. When placing orders (particularly ones not regularly scheduled), include a place for the customer to note any special information, such as vacations, etc, that might affect desired delivery.

    2. For ala carte ordering, the items should indicate not only what are frozen items, but also what category each item is in, so it would be easy to know what is for a specific meal or is a snack item. This is well defined for the relgularly scheduled shipments, but for ala carte ordering is not identified at all.

    Support from customer service has generally been very good to excellent and very polite, although there have been many times in the past when it took a long wait to speak with a person.

    My second dry order was missing most of the items I ordered. I understand sometimes a mistake happens, I called, they sent me the missing items, but I didn’t have my lunch bars so it messed up my weight loss! Then I ordered A la carte, breakfast bars and lunch bars that are like my favorite and I got only the breakfast bars no strawberry yogurt bars!! I called. Was a bit upset, not going to lie and spoke to Khabiza. She was so rude. She said that humans pack the boxes and sometimes they make a mistake. I understand that but two orders in a row, now it’s messed up. My routine diet once again! I am very unsatisfied with the service I have paid a lot of money for! I asked to speak to a Mgr or her supervisor. She refused and told me I could not.

    I am currently subscribed to the Uniquely Yours Nutrisystem (NS) plan. This is my second "real" experience with NS as I used their old 28 day Flex plan about 10 years ago and lost 64 pounds in about 8 months. Unfortunately, I slipped back into my old bad habits and since no other diet (Keto, Atkins, low-cal) worked for me, I came back to NS. The food has greatly improved over the last 10 years! I am absolutely loving everything about NS this time around. The NuMi app makes it so easy to track everything no matter where I am and it syncs with my Fitbit tracker so I don't even have to bother with inputting my activity.

    On another note, I'm not sure why people are having issues with the ordering system on the website because it's really easy to use and I have never had a problem with it (even back in the old days). It wouldn't let me remove the shakes (functionality is not available), so I called and the rep removed them immediately. The shakes are delicious but the two cans are impossible to get through in one month even though I drink one a day for my morning snack so I have plenty saved up. As I said before, the food is great! There are quite a few old foods that I already knew I didn't like so I make sure not to select those, but the majority of the food is really tasty.

    I am amazed by the updated frozen pizzas too. They used to greatly lack in toppings and now they're piled on. The "melts" which I like to refer to as "Nutri-pockets" are so so good and super easy. I could go on and on... I've been back with it for exactly two months and have lost 20 pounds. I'm extremely happy with Nutrisystem and would recommend it to anyone.

    I lost 60 pounds on NutriSystem! I want to share my success story in having lost the weight I needed to lose. I went on the plan, followed it, added exercise to my daily routine and lost the weight. I have been off of the plan for two months and have kept the weight off. I believe I have learned to eat the right amount of portions as well as the right kinds of foods. I have found great support from the NutriSystem customer representatives and found encouragement as they cheered me on. Thank you for helping to jump start my weight loss. I feel like a new person.

    I weighed 260lbs on March 11th. (first picture). I lost 20lbs in the first month and weighed 240lbs on April 11th. (double picture). I weighed in at 220lbs on May 11th (Third picture). I weighed in at 198lbs on July 11th (Fourth picture). My weight loss goal was to get to 200lbs. I think the discipline was the hardest part of the plan. And, once you realize that you aren't as much hungry as you are used to eating at set times each day you figure it out.

    The company called me after listening to my recorded original phone call and agreed that they misled me into thinking my second shipment would apply to my auto-delivery plan. They agreed not to send me a third shipment and canceled my membership, which was my original request.

    Actually, I made an error in my review. I had been on Nutrisystem for 3 weeks, not 2, and had only lost 4 pounds. Nutrisystem has to be more honest and up front as to how much additional groceries are going to cost each month. That was the deal breaker. $600 per month for additional groceries could feed a family of four.

    Two weeks in and I haven't lost much weight. A total of FOUR pounds. Drinking FreshStart shake every day for two whole weeks so far. In fact, I also lost one pound twice and immediately gained it back. Contacted support via chat & they said to eat extra PF & extra SC each day. Have diarrhea every day. Said I should see a doctor to see what's wrong with me. Insulted! Just had my wellness exam last week. Only problem is that I am overweight.

    Ate one of the ice cream sandwiches and couldn't get the chocolate cookie part off my front teeth! Had to use a toothbrush to finally scrape it off! And, no, I do not have false teeth. At this point I would NOT recommend Nutrisystem. Way too little weight loss for way too much money. Costs about $100/WEEK to supplement Nutrisystem meals, which amounts to about $765 per month for all food purchased? Even with discounted specials of $223, that still amounts to $623 per month for food.

    No way can I afford $600 to $800 per month for food. Why didn't anyone tell me that upfront? Cannot return food as I was encouraged to re-order second month of food right away (during 1st week). I will not be reordering Nutrisystem. Absolutely no return on my investment. There is no way I'm going to lose 7 more pounds in the next two weeks (for the monthly avg of 11 pounds lost) if I lost only 4 pounds which included the FreshStart jump start. Yes, I exercise every day, probably more than required. And I also drink all that water, too. So, it's not me. It's Nutrisystem that has failed.

    Nutrisystem contract states that I can cancel after two shipments of food. I called Nutrisystem after receiving the first order b/c two items were totally melted and could not be consumed. The rep "Darren" (@ Ext. **) coerced me to order my 2nd month of food early. My 2nd month of food would have been sent on August 2nd. They gave me a discount so I let them duplicate my 1st order. At no point in time did the rep "Darren" tell me this was not part of "auto-delivery" plan.

    Since over a 3 week period I have only lost 4 pounds, I called today 8/1 to cancel my subscription. They told me that I would be charged $125 b/c I did not receive two orders. What the rep "Darren" neglected to tell me is that the August 2nd order (my second shipment) would not count towards the two month subscription. I call this Sins of Omission. Not once did the rep tell me that this second order would not count towards the two months. On top of that, they botched the order and sent me Twenty-Three servings of pancakes, which I did not order.

    So now I am on the hook for another order for $284.22. I also told the rep Robert today that the supplemental food for Nutrisystem costs about $100 per week. This diet is only for RICH people that aren't in a hurry to lose weight. Totally disgusted with Nutrisystem. Will report to BBB for neglecting to tell me that my 2nd order did not fulfill my commitment. If I had known that, I never would have requested my 2nd order be sent early.

    Everything looks great with the program, the food is actually good and I don't feel hungry. However I don't like the fact that they auto charge and ship your second month and if you cancel before second month you are charged $125 which is nowhere mentioned on the onboarding call.

    I am always excited about sales, offers, etc., but they almost always seem to include only FROZEN items and the S&H is prohibitive, plus I haven't that much room in my freezer. VERY often, I think "If they had more sales on nonfrozen foods, they'd make a million dollars a minute..." I do see it, but it's mostly frozen goods. In general, I'm quite impressed with NS and, particularly, with its excellent phone and email staff...especially phone people. Thank you!

    I had purchased a $139 a la carte frozen package online. Four days later I called to cancel the order as it still had not shipped and I purchased another item from a different company much cheaper and more affordable. The man on the phone said no problem and canceled the order. The next day I received a shipping notification and a charge on my PayPal. I called Nutrisystem Customer Service and explained everything to the woman on the phone. She was very rude and extremely dismissive. She explained that with an a la carte order it get processed and shipped right away. Okay, this is a lie. It had been five days since I ordered the all frozen meals with a delivery date still two days out. Dry ice does not last a week. It was NOT packaged same day. If it was then why did they just not charge me the day I ordered it. Her exact words were "that's what I am telling you."

    I was ready to lose my cool but decided to calm down. I said "okay thank you very much" and hung up the phone. Nutrisystem has lost a customer. I will never order another item from them again and I will tell everyone I know about my experience. Up until now I was very happy with the program and recommending it to everyone. Not anymore.

    My wife and I wanted to try the Nutrisystem D plan for diabetics. The following sums up our experience: We were told by the salesman that the deliveries would be coordinated and that we could use one email account for both of us. The first delivery came with just one set of the diet food. When I called customer service they said that it was impossible to coordinate the delivery and they didn't tell us via email because they had no email address for her. We would have to have two separate email accounts. The food had evidently been sitting in a hot warehouse somewhere as the bags and food were stuck together and had to be scraped out. These meals were thrown out. Not all but many of the of the meals were had a terrible chemical taste (eg macaroni and sausage). It could be that if you went for a more deluxe plan you wouldn't have these problems but we could not afford it. (We were on the Core plan.)

    We followed the plan very carefully, but my glucose numbers increased by nearly 30 points. When we finally had enough, we cancelled and found there was $125 cancellation fee for each of us. The 'Money Back Guarantee' is a farce. Save your money and your blood pressure and find another option. Please don't get taken in by these people and do not support this kind of business.

As the warehouse is in a different location, the shipment of orders is not controlled by us. I am so sorry that you were told differently. It should have been explained in more detail.

    With regard to the Money Back Guarantee, you will have 14 days form the time the order arrives at your door to let us know you would like to discontinue. If you stop orders prior to a second order without the 14 day Money Back Guarantee, there is a fee of $125 in lieu of the discount you had received.

    As I did not receive Fresh Start food when the other food was delivered I called for help. Was told it would be sent right away. This was last Tues(?) and I'm still waiting for it, now being told it SHOULD arrive this coming Tues. Do you realize how much inconvenience this has caused?     I started NS 2 1/2 years ago after a total hip replacement. I weighed 333 lbs at check in to hospital. I then decided to start taking care of myself so my hip replacement would last. I started out walking outside with a walker and have walked every day as my exercise. I still walk with a cane. I have a picture of me when I started walking with my walker. I now weigh 181.4... and would like to get to 150. I have plateaued for a while and now I'm starting to lose again. Once I reach my goal I will send my before and after picture. :) My doctors are thrilled at my committment.     When placing my order I saw that I could order a low sugar menu so asked and got that - only to find the food did not have reduced sugar - was the same as regular and only had a booklet telling me to eat between meals to keep sugar level! I asked if I could pick my food and was told no on original order. Just pre selected standard order for my $. So called to complain - and got to pick some low sugar items - esp for breakfast - which will arrive soon - I feel the sugar content is way too high - esp breakfast foods.

    The food became quite repetitive and boring. (The tiramisu was awesome!!) Some were clearly more to my taste than others. I often did not finish all the items before it was time to get the next order. The biggest problem was in pricing. Sometimes I was given one price but charged an increased price the following month. It seemed to me that the only way to get a "discount" for established members was to recruit new members. There were numerous discounts for "new" members. Counselors seemed more interested in having one stay on the program than in working out problems for individuals (perhaps just my perception).

    I began using Nutrisystem because I am in sales and always on the road eating bad food. I took advantage of a special they had for Men which only cost $248.99 and the results were decent. I received an email saying my next shipment is on its way, but I didn't order it - they just sent it. When I called to stop the order, they said that they'd push the date back a couple weeks for me, but I told them that I'd call when I'm ready for more food. They sent it anyway and charged my card.

    When I called to complain, they said "oh we're sorry, but the notes don't show that you made any requests to stop shipment". To this, I requested a return label so I could return the box to them and they said that a refund would be issued within 14 business days. Well I received a refund, but only for $219, not the $248.99 they charged me without approval! So now I'm trying to find out where my $30 went and why? I will never ever ever buy from them again. Think twice before giving this company your credit card information.

    This program is very expensive. I initially signed up because I felt the weight loss boost was worth the expense. After the first month I called to cancel. I am retired on a fixed income and didn't feel I could pay for another month. Also I was delayed in starting the program so I didn't need the food when it was scheduled to arrive. I called and was informed that I couldn't cancel until I had participated for 2 months without penalty but I could delay my order. At this time the fee was already on hold with my bank. The counselor assured me that the money would be refunded. However the money was taken from my account. I feel like Nutrisystem is misleading in the advertising and only interested in getting as much money as possible from the clients. In fact, my opinion is that Nutrisystem cheats the client.

Customers who sign up for auto-delivery receive a discount off the full one-time order price, so we just ask that they take at least two orders. If a customer would like to discontinue their plan before receiving a second auto-delivery order, we have a standard fee of $125 as outlined in our Terms and Conditions online. After the second order there are no fees to stop the auto-delivery plans.

    If a pending order is canceled though, any holds on the funds should just fall off in the next 3-5 business days. I will be sure to look into your charges further though and reach out to you soon.

    Was excited to start the program. Actually eager. Then after placing the order and going to the bottom of the screen and reading the fine print, I saw something about latex being a problem with your products. I called in because I am allergic or was allergic to latex and they handled the food with latex gloves. I would not have ever placed this order had I seen that upfront before I ordered!! Your rep that was trying to cover it with cotton is telling me it's prior to ordering!! No! it's not. It's at the very end you may want to get that corrected.

    I want my money refunded immediately. They told me it's already been processed but they were sure quick to charge me and very slow at telling me that my order could not be filled. I'm warning everybody. I know about Nutrisystem but to tell you the truth nobody even wants your program. I've already ordered another product that is latex free and very affordable. I wouldn't have given any stars at all except they wouldn't let me write this review if I hadn't. The counseling team is very rude and abrupt. You may want to look into that.

    I've been a long time Nutrisystem customer with great success on the program. I started when they shipped you 7 days worth of food except for a couple of flex meals. Then they took the whole day away. Now they took another day away, so they charge the same but only give you 5 days of food. I canceled for good a couple of months ago. They kept emailing me with the offer of "2 months for the price of 1". I wondered if it's still going to be expensive but when I signed in it showed one month for the price of $248.45 and the second one was 0. That's THE ONLY reason I went back to this overpriced service.

    Now the second month comes, they charge me again! Are you kidding me? I just was on the phone with customer service and they told me it was "50% off" not 2 for 1. I call it BS, I'm so upset right now, I clearly saw it was supposed to be $0 for the second month. What a scam! I'll never go back to Nutrisystem. I feel like I was just robbed, sucked into it for the same price and only 5 days of food a week. I want my money back.

    When you place an order you have the option to either receive a one-time delivery or you can enroll in an auto-delivery. If you place a one-time order you pay the full retail value for a month of meals and you are not eligible for additional discount. When you enroll in an auto-delivery you receive a discount (50% off in this instance) and for this reason we expect you to take two orders. Since you receive two orders at the 50% off price you are getting two months of meals for the same price you would pay for a one-time order. I apologize again if this was not made clear.

    Flex Meals have been incorporated into all of our meal plans. We do not expect anyone to be on our program forever and we believe that the Flex Meals are a great way to instill better eating habits for the future. Each week you are expected to practice two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and two evening snacks using the guidelines we provide.     Too much food I did not like eg Mac & Cheese and Oatmeal. No way to stop getting food you don't like -- if there is a way it was not communicated to me properly. Following the program I lost 27 lbs. in 6-7 weeks but did not lose any weight thereafter. On program February through June. (approximately 21 weeks)

    I was on the program a number of years ago and it worked well for me then. As a result of a number of issues I gained weight back and thought I would go back on the program. After I selected all of my meals I realized that I was only getting 20 days of food rather than the 28 days (4 weeks) that all the marketing and advertising [on tv and magazines] are suggesting. I called and was told that in fact they changed the program some time ago and the program wants individuals to take 2 days a week on their own so they can get used to a new way of eating. This seems to be a bit deceitful in their advertising. The salesperson then told me they could give me the additional 8 days for another price. I would have felt better if they said this stuff in their ads from the beginning. This is just wrong and false advertising. Going to look for a different program. I'm disappointed.

    I ordered Nutrisystem in June 2019, the company shipped to wrong address so I did not receive in timely manner. Within the first days It was quite apparent that the food was making me feel sick. I felt bloated and lethargic and several items made me nauseous and almost vomit. I discontinued eating those items but every other one I tried still left me lethargic with a very bloated feeling.

    I have medically diagnosed GERD and an ulcer, both of which had been under medical care and had resolved. In less than a week of starting NS foods my GERD had returned and I could tell my sensations that my ulcer had also returned. Upon advice of my doctor I stopped eating all the foods and called to cancel my future orders. I was charged 125.00 for cancelling. I called to request it back based on the ingredients in the food making me ill and on advice of doctor. They refused.

    Their solution was to pay for and accept my next order and they would credit back the 125.00 cancellation fee!!! So I should spend 314.00 for food that makes me sick, that I was told not to eat by doctor, meaning waste 314.00 because I would not be eating any of the food. I am appalled at this suggestion and want to do something about it. Diana

    Dear sir/madam: I want to inform you that a huge mistake has been made by one of your employees. On June 10th I called to sign up for Nutrisystem, for the offer: buy 1 get 2. I spoke with Matt, he charged me $284.82. The next day, Matt called me to sign my husband up for the same offer: buy 1 get 2. The charge was $314.98. Matt did not tell us that he actually signed us up for 50% off, and that we must pay again the next month, while our understanding was that we signed up for buy 1 get 2, which was exactly what I asked for on the phone, which meant clearly: pay now for one month, next month is free. Matt misinformed us, practically he lied to us. Please, check your records of the two conversations, please!

    If we knew what we were signing up for, we would have given up. I received emails saying that Nutrisystem will charge us for the second month, naturally I called. Your employees explained to me what happened, two different persons, none of them cared to apologize for Matt’s gross negligence. Two women who told me in a rude tone what my deal was, and that I can not talk with a manager. To cancel the second month, I was told an extraordinary thing: to pay more than half of what I should pay for the food, $125 (!!!!) for “restocking”… The food for the second month was not out yet… Finally, tired and frustrated, I said that I will pay for the second month, for both of us, but at least, for the negligence, I asked to have one week free shakes for both of us. This was impossible too. For your employee misconduct, and for the other 2 employees conduct, I want the deal that I made with Matt to remain in place. Again, your employee Matt was untruthful for 2 days in a row, messing up our budget.

    In June 2019 I ordered my first month of Nutrisystems. Before the first order came I called to alter the first order since I am diabetic and gluten intolerant. I received the first order on time and tried the system. The food was all packaged as expected and not very good but I sort of expected that. I thought I was ordering a one-month supply of food. Then another shipment came that I was not expecting. I called and the response was quite rude. They told me that they had a recording of the subscription order but would not provide me access to the conversation. They informed me in a subsequent call that I was responsible to know what I was signing up for. I cancelled my subscription and called American Express to dispute the charge. Beware the NutriSystems Program. It is auto-renewing. Plus if you do a special menu, it must be updated on-line every month. You CAN NOT Cancel online.

    When you sign up, online or over the phone, you will have two options. A one-time order at the full retail value or you can choose the discounted rate. The second option will require you to take two shipments in order to retain the discount received as we cannot extend this to a one-time order. If you sign up for the discounted rate and discontinue prior to a second shipment, you are subject to the $125.00 fee. All that we ask to keep this discount is to accept two shipments. Each month you take make you that much closer to you goal!

    If you choose that you do not want to accept a second package and want to keep the first package, you can cancel. This is when you would incur the cancellation charge of $125. Once you have accepted a second package, you have fulfilled your 2 shipments, you have fulfilled you commitment and are able to discontinue the program with incurring any additional fees.

    Here is a summary of my experiences: First order, I went with the Chef's choice and received several items that I do not eat (cereal, oatmeal, other meal items that I didn't like), so I went online and changed my order several times so that I would not receive the items I didn't like on the second order. On May 3 I received my second order. Even though I went online and changed my meal selections several times the week before to remove the cereals and oatmeals (see previous comments), I still received them, along with the Kung Pau Noodles that I am pretty sure I removed from the order since I didn't like them. So, from the "unfrozen" order I have received at least 7 items that I will not use, plus 2 more that I have since found that I also don't like.

    I called Customer Support on the 5th trying to "vent" about the Order and requesting to cancel any future orders. I talked to Candice, was transferred to Tamara, and then transferred again to a line that no one answers. Since I was at work I was unable to continue holding. Today, May 5, I received what was a very melted "frozen" order. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and it is summer. Whoever is in charge of shipping needs to rethink how they ship to Phoenix in summer. I threw everything in the freezer, but the order is probably ruined. Everything in bags is soft and the 2 ice cream bars are liquid. I didn't open the boxes to see what condition their contents are in, but since everything else was melted I assume they are too.

    Needless to say, I again tried to call and "vent" about the condition of my orders, and cancel any future orders. After going through answering machine hell I was finally informed that Nutrisystem is closed for the holiday today (Friday) but will be open tomorrow. I was finally able to reach someone to cancel my orders on June 9. No concern about the "frozen" order being melted, and no concern about why I was canceling my orders. Generally got the feeling that no one cares. Ok. Me either.

    On their website, Nutrisystem states, as a returning customer, I could get a 28 day plan for $284 or as they claimed $10.14 a day. However, Nutrisystem sends you only 20 days of food. Dividing 20 into 284 is $14.20 a day, not $10.14. When I challenged a phone representative about this, he said the other days are so-called "flex" meals which are meals I have to pay for over and above what I am paying Nutrisystem. To me this is clearly deceptive advertising. I cancelled my order.

Women are expected to practice two evening snacks each week while men will practice four snacks on their own throughout the week. We recommend spreading the Flex Meals and Snacks throughout the week instead of doing full days on your own.     I have been on Nutrisystem for about five weeks and have lost sixteen pounds. Overall I am very happy with these results. I like losing the weight slowly which I am very happy about since I have heard that it is better to lose slowly. I am very happy with the meals provided and with the fact you can have your own flex meals. Those are very helpful in keeping from becoming tired and bored with this diet. I have tried many other diets but without success. This time I believe I am on the right track. The only problem I have is with the PowerFuels. There are way too few listed in the guide and a lot of them are meats, eggs,or fish. This would be okay, but a lot of the meals deal with meats, so I was wondering if there were any other PowerFuels that I could use? Thanks, Bob **.

    The frozen order was delivered without the dry ice in the package. I am unsure as to why but know that during shipment it was delayed for several days at one location? Not sure why.     My husband and I purchased a meal plan program from Nutrisystem and were not happy with the food products. We were aware of the many meal plans that were available. We were under the impression the meals were frozen, we were disappointed when we received the packaged foods. Although, the website stated it was a 28 day meal plan, we received meals for 22 days. We later found out there are two "flex" meals per week, which we were responsible for preparing. In addition, the foods were not tasty, needless to say, we forced ourselves to ingest. We did not lose the 11 to 13 pounds as suggested by the website. The only positive aspect from this fiasco was learning appropriate portion size meals.

    Updated on 01/15/2020: Horrible experience with Nutrisystem Food, program and CS. Was on Nutrisystem and wasted over $1,000.00. Cancelled program. Never received refund. Went on Slim Fast and BP went down, lost 12 pounds already and keeping it off. Saved a ton of money and found product that works. All Nutrisystem cared about was getting me on another plan and spending more money. Only weight I lost was in my wallet.

    Original Review: Food does not do anywhere as advertised. Actually the Weight Watchers foods sold in the supermarket tastes better, has better results and costs significantly less. I feel as though I wasted $1,000.00. When I communicate with Nutrisystem they, a week after my contacting them say to eat more... excuses excuses. Customer service is horrible!

    I cancelled my order in person, over the phone on June 19th as a result of my complaint that Purolator would not leave my items without a signature. YOU promised and assured me that Purolator did NOT require a signature and that you would see to it that my items were sent out after giving Purolator a stern talking to by your supervisor. I never heard back from YOU but Purolator called me twice to pick up the stuff - which is an hour away!

    When I cancelled, your agent was indifferent about me leaving and assured me she was the correct person to speak to in order to cancel the program. I now have a charge on my VISA card - which appeared 5 days earlier than last month - with INCLUDES over $100.00 in currency exchange rates!! When a refund is submitted by you, I will lose a substantial amount of money!! I expect that unnecessary charge to be removed immediately with zero cost to me!! All of this is documented in correspondences I have had with your customer service department. I also suspect that most if not all conversations have been recorded and are available for review.

    I’ve been in NS many times since the ‘90’s where it was 7 days on NS. When I called to sign up again (about a month ago), Flex Meals was not explained to me, consequently, my first week of actually on the NS food (wk 2 after Fresh Start) I ate NS all week with no FM. I looked at what food I had left and figured I’m out. I wouldn’t have enough to get me through the next 3 weeks. When I called and talked to a Counselor she explained the FM and said I need have 2 FM Per week - that still wouldn’t get me through 3 more weeks. So when I called back, the next counselor said I need to do 2-BF, 2-L, 2-Dinner, 2-snacks on my own each week. I understand the idea behind FM and actually think it’s a good idea, but it takes a lot more time to figure out which days you’re doing each of the FM’s (8 total). NS used to be pretty easy to follow but it’s not now. I’m so confused!

    If there were Negative 10 Stars score, I'd give that. Nutrisystem takes advantage of the elderly. They will not accept cancellation even if they agree to pay the $125 fee for canceling auto pay before the 2nd shipment. A terrible customer service experience and surprised such a large company works this way and takes advantage of people who don't want the food because it takes horrible and it poor quality; plus my mom got upset stomach and heart palpitations. Marie Osmond, do you approve of this conduct of business? These are innocent elderly people Nutrisystem is disrespecting and taking advantage of. Don't do auto pay program, or you will have a tough time cancelling (only by phone, no email) and you will get surcharged a $125 fee on top of the $400 something FOR THE 4 WEEKS OF TERRIBLE TASTING FOOD THEY SEND YOU.

    I have had a great experience in losing weight on Nutrisystem. It's MUCH easier than any other weight loss plan I've tried, and I've been very successful. Unfortunately, the directions for updating orders online are confusing. I am being charged $200 extra for the same food I normally get simply because the directions online weren't clear on how to update my order. If they want to keep their customers, they need to be more customer friendly. My husband was considering doing the plan too, but now we are afraid of unexpected charges that we haven't budgeted for. Nutrisystem - please make your web page more user-friendly and intuitive to use.

    Saying that the non-frozen portion shipped makes one believe frozen might come too. The rep said, after I complained nicely, that I have been getting a good deal. It felt like a hint that "You ARE lucky to get such a good deal (and shouldn't complain)." He's likely unaware how it can come across when somebody's calling with that issue and after saying I emailed multiple depts. only to receive auto reply that all were busy. So I had to call and wait for callback. But you have good reps too. The voicemail prompts are the worst. You have to wait for ALL of them before making a selection and that after waiting to hear your advertised promo.

    My husband Bill ** and I were both on the diet. He ate mostly protein bars for breakfast and lunch as he works in an office. He ate the frozen stuff for dinner. He did lose weight and grateful for that. Me as a 55 year old, nurse of 32 years, knew you don’t lose weight on high carb diet. I work from home, ate my 3 meals and 3 snacks a day, never cheated and when weighed by doctor gained 10 pounds. OMG... not really surprised but now in Dr. Atkins again and second week in already lost 15 pounds. Would not recommend it to any female that I know. Plus me being against it I feel like the 600 dollars for 2 months for me was like burning money with fire (kinda like smoking). Marie Osmond, lived her music as a child, but spokesperson for Nutrisystem, most people know she is like Oprah and is like a yo yo (up and down with weight loss) plus I guess they call it photoshopped is also readily available.

    I ordered the buy one month-get one month free deal. I was told the cost, thinking this was for both months (just under $300). Now, I am told I will be billed that same amount for the second month!! Very misleading, and I am not at all happy. I used Nutrisystem a few years ago and the $300 was for one month, so either their prices have REALLY gone up or this deal is a scam. It is MUCH cheaper to buy these kind of healthy meals from the grocery store. I will never use Nutrisystem again.

    If you ever wondering what canned military food might be like--this is it. If you're desperate to lose weight, it might work but although most of the food is edible, ordering from the website is an absolute nightmare. There are so many hoops to jump through only to find there is no way to get around added shipping costs, snuck in "handling costs" and barrages of ads to get you to buy more and keep adding on to your plan. Trying to call customer support puts you on an endless phone call that never gets answered. So even when you DO find something you WANT to order, there is no way to order it or get help adding or editing your plan without incurring more charges. The basic plan wouldn't be bad if the website and ordering system could be improved. But even if you're computer savvy it's a nightmare and is so frustrating that alone leads you to discontinue what could otherwise be a decent way to lose weight. It just shouldn't be this complicated.

    I've enjoyed most of the frozen food but struggled to stay on the diet for more than a couple of days. The pizzas tasted pretty good and the cinnamon rolls were good as well. My complaint with Nutrisystem is the way I'm charged for the a la carte items. I auto-enrolled for the discount offered but there is NO NOTICE sent that they are shipping another order. However, they will send daily email notices advertising their product. I've gone online to cancel and discovered I couldn't cancel online. I tried to call but they have East Coast hours and I live in Colorado. The last time this happened, I simply delayed the order for many weeks thinking I'd remember but alas, tonight I was unpleasantly surprised to see money missing from my bank account. It's not hard to auto-generate an email warning that money is leaving your account when the product you are purchasing is non- refundable.

    Now I have a whole cooler's worth of food coming my way which I don't want. I'll accept responsibility for choosing the auto- enroll option but there is no reason not to just send an email saying your order will ship in 3 days, make changes now, or do nothing and your order will process as is, etc.. Tomorrow, when I can reach Nutrisystem, I will cancel and never order again. That I have to call and cancel when everything else is online is ridiculous and inconvenient. It's also a way for Nutrisystem to make money. I find it sneaky although I'm sure Nutrisystem would counter that it's very convenient for customers, it's not convenient for me and I can't fathom that I'm the first person to be frustrated with this system.

    I'm just starting the Nutrisystem program and signed up for the Uniquely Yours menu. I have not eaten the food yet as my food just arrived today. I'm excited to begin and also add my own meals. I gave 3 stars because it took 29 minutes on hold before speaking to customer service (I took a screenshot of the timestamp, I was so annoyed). The other reviews are accurate when they say to expect a long wait. It's awful that you have to wait more than 29 minutes to speak with someone. Nevertheless, once I spoke with customer service the young man was very nice and resolved me issue. I'll update in regards to how the food taste and my success on the program (fingers crossed).

    I’ve had problems with linking NuMi to my account for ordering purposes. I’ve spoken to several of your support personnel who insisted they had fixed the issue, but I still couldn’t order from my NuMi app. Yesterday I spoke to a different person who was able to identify the underlying issue and notified the appropriate party for corrective action. Today I received an email stating I should be able to complete the link. I had to change my password, but was able to place my order successfully. I appreciate the support person who fixed a multi months-long problem. Thank you.

    Food is poor. Loaded with carbs. Some of the food provided wouldn't even be fed to a dog. Trick is to get under 1100 calories a day. Read the fine print, you must order two months worth minimum or you are slapped with a $125 cancellation fee. This part is not highlighted when you order. NOT EVEN SURE IF THIS IS LEGAL, will be contacting my lawyer. I was on this diet for 3 weeks, lost 2 pounds.

    When I first called to get information on the diet, the price was automatically manipulated and increased on the website. I had to call and complain to get back to original price as advertised. When i called to cancel, I asked for them to do nothing until I called back, they still tacked on the $125. All in all, a very poor experience and would never recommend to anyone. Poor food, poor service.

    I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy the meals or lose as much as you had wanted to, I know that can be frustrating. We do recommend about 1200 calories a day on the standard program for women for the best weight loss, but everyone loses a bit differently so it can take some time for the body to adjust to a new diet. I'd be glad to review the plan in more detail with you if you do have meals left over that you'd like to use. The program does meet the American Diabetes Association guidelines for nutrition and Nutrisystem focuses on the use of carbohydrates low on the Glycemic index that break down slower to help stabilize blood sugar and help keep you feeling full. I do have a list of the items lower in carbs though if customers need an even further reduced carbohydrate diet.

    My apologies if the details of the auto-delivery program was not made clear. Customers who sign up with the auto-delivery option receive a discount off the one-time order price, so we just ask that they receive at least two orders. If individuals would like to cancel their plan before the second order, we charge a standard $125 fee as outlined in the Terms and Conditions shared before submitting the order. I certainly appreciate the feedback on making those details more apparent though, and I will be sure to share your input with the appropriate team.

    Customer Service Returns is very unprofessional. I called within the 14 days (mid Feb) for a full refund. I received the return authorization. I became sick and the a family member had surgery. The mailing label expired, so I called to receive another one. A representative emailed me another mailing label. (If I did qualify for the refund, then why mail me another label.) I was misinformed.

    When I called to check on the status of my refund, I was told it was too late and I could not receive a refund. I was told a mgr would call in 3 days. When I called back due to not receiving a call, the rep Tiffany told me the reason I did not receive a call was because I was not entitled to a refund. She also refused to transfer me to speak to a manager (second person who refused to transfer me). I had to tell her what was in the return box even though they had the return. Tiffany was rude and very unhelpful. Still waiting for refund which will be pennies on the dollar and a call. Would not recommended. Will never try them again.

    I receive updates with special every week, as I had done the program a year ago with very little success. I had wanted to try again, but could not afford the full cost. I looked for the best deal and it appeared to be the deal of the season - the 2 for 1. To find out the cost I was told for month one was just for month one and that I would be billed again the second month. Then you say no shipping cost, but charge $13 to handle the order - of course you handle it, how else does it go out?? So - I did not get two months for the price of one, I did not get the best price for the season, and then when I found out the truth now I am going to be billed $125. Yes - I found it after looking all over for that policy. Why not out it right on the front page with the billing and shipping info.?

    Because you want to hid it and rip people like me off. I thought this was a true to the product and true to people company - I have learned differently. Be honest - be up front with what people are getting for their money, give more than 14 days to try products - I did not even start mine till Monday and it came on Thursday. So I lost 4 days right there. If it is a god product that does what it says - give people enough time to really try it. And lastly - don't be a scam company like a lot of the others. I am very upset and disappointed in this whole process and if I am not refunded at least the extra $125 extra fee - I will make sure everyone knows about the scam and to NOT use this product, as they do not stand behind it.     When I signed up I received 28 days of food. When the reorder came it had 20 days of food. When I inquired, Nutrisystem said that people wanted to do flex meals 2x per week and that is why you get 20 days and not 28. I said the price is the same on the re-order so why should I be charge the same for 8 days less of food. They said that is the new way they do it. Very misleading... I cancelled after the first re-order.... Too bad as I would have stayed on program longer if they gave 28 days of food on the re-order since they were charging the same price.

    Delivery was fast and the food tasted fine but, unfortunately, the program just didn't seem to work for me. I want to commend the Customer Service Department. When I decided that I needed to cancel my account, I dreaded making the call because I was anticipating a "hard sell" to convince me not to cancel. That didn't happen. The representative was kind and caring and offered to let me speak to a counselor if I wanted to do so but did not pressure me in any way and I am beyond grateful for the attitude that was displayed toward me. He assured me that I would have access to a counselor for six months if I felt that I wanted to talk to one of them, which made me feel that Nutrisystem really does care about its clients.

    I’ve been on Nutrisystem for one month and wanted to cancel my order, I call their customer service line and it took forever to find the right menu to go to. I got to a customer service representative and he was horrible. I told him I wanted to cancel my order and he said that he would check on my order status and I told him I cancel my order online but just wanted to make it was cancel and he immediately sent me to a different line without before I can say anything else. I would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone, horrible customer service experience. They need to retrain their people on customer relations. Also, they offer 50% but there is a catch, if you cancel after 1 month Nutrisystem will charge you $150 cancellation fees. DO NOT SIGN UP.

    Very difficult to cancel the plan. You cannot do it online, you must call. When I finally got through to someone, she attempted to make it a very difficult experience. I asked to speak with a supervisor finally. After a 6 minute wait, I spoke with a supervisor who denied her representative was trying to make it difficult. She finally canceled my plan and gave me a confirmation number.

    Sending the 3 missing snacks is fine; doesn't matter what you choose; the snacks were all acceptable. However, I wish to cancel my account because the dinner canned items were not digestible. ~ two hours after eating the canned beans (TWICE) I became ill and vomited everything up. Rest of the food was fine. I do resent having to pay another $125 to you just to cancel. I hope you understand. Gaile

    When you enroll in an auto-delivery you receive a significant discount off of the one-time order cost and for this reason we ask that you take two orders. If you cancel your program within 14 days of receiving your first order then you have the option to take advantage of the Money Back Guarantee. If you cancel after this period has ended and prior to accepting a second order there is a standard fee which is $125. Once you accept a second order there is no fee if you wish to cancel. We apologize if you were unaware of these terms.

    Our plans can be customized and so you can pick your menu for your second order if there were items in your very first order that you did no enjoy. We typically can send courtesy replacements as well if you receive anything in your first order that you really cannot eat.

    I placed an order for a Fresh Start Kit. Instead, I received 7 breakfasts, lunches and dinners in a generic brown shipping box. There was no “kit”. Additionally, I did not receive the Fresh Shakes and Nutrisystem snacks or program materials that come with the kit. Simply put, this was not a kit. I did an online chat with a rep who is sending out the missing items but it will take 4-10 days to arrive. I’m most disappointed in the lack of the actual kit box that keeps things organized, as well as the missing items. Don’t claim you’re shipping me a “kit” when it appears just like every other a la carte order. I would prefer to return this erroneous order and just have them ship me the actual kit that is pictured, that I ordered and paid for.

    If there was an option for a zero rating that if what I would have done! Beware of this company! I signed up for Nutrisystem and was not aware that I "Had" to have 2 months worth of food delivered for auto delivery (they said it is somewhere in their fine print which the website is confusing as hell when you try to sign up). The first month was auto delivery and then I purchased a la carte. I have purchased over $800 worth of food, but yet I can't cancel unless I want to pay another $125 or do another auto delivery shipment. This company doesn't care that you purchased more food a different way, they want to screw you over by forcing you to pay more on the auto delivery or pay to get out.

    When I called to cancel I asked for the supervisor or a manager and he said there is no one I can speak with, he said that I could either pay the $125 or have another auto delivery. I said I don't authorize the payments but that clearly doesn't matter to them. It clearly doesn't matter that I have spent more then $800 with that company. If I would have done the auto delivery it would have cost me less. This company is a scam and horrible! Do not sign up with them. I wish I would have read the forums on how crappy their contract was because I would have never signed up.

I will say it was the day before the last day I could cancel. I wanted the shipment just not at that time.     Overall the food was good. I really liked the breakfast items like the waffles, egg sandwich and chocolate muffins. I will continue to order those. I also like the lunch bars. Tasty and fulfilling. I only ended up ordering for dinner the meatloaf and hamburger sandwiches. Also the pizzas. The other foods did not look appetizing. The snacks were delicious and there is a lot of selections. The popcorn was so good and very sad to see it is not on the menu. I want to order more so I hope it comes back. Also the ice cream sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, honey mustard pretzels and cheese puffs are also tasty. I will continue to order these items when they go on sale.

    Regarding the shipping, the packaging is awful especially the frozen foods coming in that terrible Styrofoam. It is horribly messy when you open the box. There were always small pieces of Styrofoam sticking to the food and I pieces of grass or whatever it was but it was disgusting. As I would put the frozen foods in the freezer all this junk from the box was getting into the freezer. It was awful. Also there were several times that the waffles were crushed and had to ask for a new shipment. The frozen foods only last a short time before getting freezer burn. Very disappointing. The only food that lasts longer are the ones in the boxes.

    The boxes that contain non frozen items are way too big. Those need to be downsized. It is a waste of cardboard and we have a lot to cut up for recycling. I recently ordered some snacks and the box was twice the size as it should have been. Please look into better options and downsizing the boxing for food. Again the Styrofoam boxes are terrible and messy. I will be also posting these comments on Facebook. Thank you.

    I’ve been on and off your program for a sometime. The first time I stuck to the plan and lost 28 pounds, but then experienced some major life changes and let myself gain it all back. In November 2018 I decided to go back on Nutrisystem. In an effort to save a little money the sale rep suggested I go on the women plan which would require me add a couple snacks a day on my own which I was okay with. When I received my meals it seemed your quality control had slipped big time, for example, 3 of 4 turkey sausage pizzas had little to no topping on them, turkey medallions was blobbed together with the potatoes. Just to name a couple. Then unlike the first time on the plan, your customer service was nearly nonexistent, forever on hold and not responsive to emails except to send me an email and rather than calling me they canceled my plan? So after several attempts I gave up. Your customer service used to be phenomenal, now....

    I recently decided to give you another try, so I called and spoke to someone in sales. Amazing how I was not put on hold when selecting the option to purchase your product, but god forbid you need help! So I received my shipment of dry goods on Friday and my frozen items today. Not only did I not receive all of my items, some of the items are things I didn’t order. So to confirm I didn’t overlook something I inventoried and compared to the shipping receipt. Not only did I confirm that I in fact did not receive everything, but also discovered that you have also cut the number of meal shipped with the plan.

    Thinking something was wrong I was forced to undertake the daunting painful drill of contacting customer service. You know the one with the automated menu bigger than any bank or credit card company. So after playing the hold game for 45 mins I selected the option for a callback then carried my phone in hand for the next 90 minutes so as not to miss the call I received from peachy not so friendly or helpful rep. Your rep confirmed my suspicions about the number of meals with the plan. She informed me that plans were recently changed and now only provide 20 days of meals and now require that me/we are required to flex 10 days/30 for more money. What?

    So without offering any suggestions or alternatives she asked if I wanted to cancel and offered to send me a shipping label to return my order. Not at all the customer service you once had. I would like not to flex for the month or two so I can focus on weight loss and following the plan. After that began adding flex meals on my own. I spent this past week gearing up for success only to find myself here writing a review and searching the web for alternatives.. It would be great to hear from someone from Nutrisystem.

    Our program is configured to leave out 6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners, and 12 snacks for the month (8 breakfasts, 8 lunches, 8 dinners, and 16 snacks in your 2nd and subsequent orders). This will allow you to practice making healthy meals on your own or if you have an upcoming event, there is no need to worry about getting back-logged on your food.

    We understand that this may not be the best starting point for some members so we do have alternatives to offer. They should have been reviewed and I am sorry that they were not. Though customers can lose up to 13 pounds in the first month of their 4 week program, some may lose more and some may lose less. Weight loss can be a tricky thing since everyone loses differently due to a number of factors such as weight loss goals, previous eating habits, gender, age, and even sleeping patters. It can also take the body some time to adjust to a new diet before any weight loss shows as well.

    I am so unhappy with Nutrisystem, I called after giving a fair chance of tasting most of the meals, I believe I had one week left. The food looks nothing like the pics and the taste was simply not good. There were a few times that I was literally sick to my stomach and also a few where I just threw the food away. I called on the third week to cancel the next shipment and was informed that I would still be charged 125.00. Imagine that, the food made me sick and I STILL need to pay! This is UNACCEPTABLE!! I got charged and of course called my bank and disputed the charges. This company has Lawyers that will take the time to put a package together and send it to your bank to dispute your dispute!!

    This is a SCAM, STAY AWAY from this company. If the food tasted great I would gladly have stayed on the program even though you can get the SAME food from your frozen food dept Low calorie meals. Do yourself a favor, cook your own low calorie meals and stay clear of this money hungry company that will literally ARGUE with you on the phone when you state that the food was not tasty and it made me sick. They were rude asking me if I heated it up correctly and if I followed the program... super condescending if you ask me. NEVER AGAIN.

As a member of the Nutrisystem Consumer Experience team, I will look into your concerns regarding discontinuing the program and help you clarify the Terms and Conditions of our program.

    Typically, when a client reports that they are having an issue when eating the meals, it is suggested to speak to a Counselor to help troubleshoot the issue. In regards to our terms at sign-up, when you signed up for your 4 week shipment, you were given a special discount off of the retail value of the package. We are unable to extend this discount if you only take one package which is where the cancellation fee comes in. The cost of which is $125. All that we ask to keep this discount is to accept two shipments.

    However, we do have a 14-day Money Back Guarantee. You have 2 weeks from the time the package arrives at your door to try out the product and see if it is the program for you. If not, simply call us within those first 14 days to cancel the program. We will waive the cancellation fee and provide you a label to send back the foods. You will receive a full refund minus the cost of the label, about $20.

    If you choose to not accept a second package and want to keep the first package, you can cancel, but you would incur the cancellation charge of $125. Once you have accepted a second package which fulfills your 2 shipment minimum, you are able to discontinue the program without incurring any additional fees.

    I tried this plan out, but did not like the food. They advertised a 14 day money back guarantee. When I called to cancel the plan and return the items, the rep got rude when I refused to stay on the plan. I returned the items well within the 14 days, but they are refusing to issue a refund. They are a bunch of scammers! They received the return on 4/12/19 and still has not issued a refund and actually disputing the case. Don't waste your money. They now have the product and my money. UNBELIEVABLE!

So, I'm very happy with the ultimate response and resolution of my complaint; I'm not so happy with the time it took to get the response and the fact there was no clear instructions on how to redeem the "free" promotion in the first place. I think the problem was in the fact I already had an order in place, so when I went to the purchase page expecting to find a box to insert the promo code, there was nothing except the credit card info already in place for the prior order.     For the last 3 months I have been unable to raise the number of popcorn I ordered due to supply issues. Also items I have liked are taken off the menu or substitutions are made. I am tired of not getting items I want.     I apologize that one of your favorite snacks has not been available. We are working on bringing the popcorn items back as we understand many customers enjoy those snacks. At times we do reformulate an item or change the packaging, so it can take a couple months before it is available again. I understand your frustration though and apologize for any inconvenience.

    If customers ever receive substitutions that they are not happy with, they can certainly contact us for replacements. We do try to include a warning on the website when items are low in stock in case they would like to edit their menu to include a different item.

    I've been on the program for just over a month and so far so good as far as the food and weight loss go. That’s where it ends. I’ve tried reaching out via email thru the website to get recommendations on switching plans. I am so disappointed in the response time and when I finally received the response it did not provide any information. My email and questions were not addressed at all.

    I also had an order show up early and I could not make arrangements to leave work 6 hours early to bring in the frozen order. When I called to discuss with customer service the girl with the horrible attitude who answered my call blamed me. Oh but she’ll do me a one time favor and replace the ruined food. Gee thanks. When we are spending this kind of money I would expect timely and well thought out responses. I’ve tried numerous weight loss companies and by far Nutrisystem has had the WORST customer service.

    Throughout the last shipment of Nutrisystem food, I had diarrhea most of the days - sometimes severe. As I was finishing up the last of it earlier this week, I had uncontrolled, explosive diarrhea, nausea and eventually vicious vomiting. I believe I had contaminated food. I have gingerly started trying the current box, so far, so good, but I am cancelling my account as I do not want to risk that again. It was classic food poisoning. I believe I should have received a refund for that order. I did not have problems with the first shipment, and hopefully will not with this one, but I will simply quit taking it if I start to have symptoms, which would, of course, be a waste of more dollars.

    The price on the website says $12.50 per day for 28 days. I only received 22 days of food but I was charged for 28 days. I'm now told the missing 6 days are flex days where I buy my own food. That seems like selling a set of 4 tires but only putting on 3 then telling the buyer it's up to you to buy and mount the 4th tire. If you are selling 28 days of food then the expectation is you deliver 28 days of food. I do see on the order page it says two flex meals per week but it doesn't say I pay for them. I thought they were included.

    Your cancellation policy is terrible, and I believe it’s designed to do exactly what happened to me: I receive an email telling me about my pending delivery. On that same day I cancel my program. Nowhere in your email does it say “cancel by 6pm”, which is immaterial to my complaint, because half of one day is not enough for any normal human being to get things done, particularly ones who have a three year old. 11pm is when I found time to read your email and respond. One day? You should be ashamed.

    Very expensive for sub quality food. Lots of carbs, sodium. Poor taste. Also the first week lost a few lbs. Since then, goes up and down with no progress. If I can get through, I'm going to cancel. I'd rather pay cancellation fee as it is less than getting all that food I'm not going to eat. Started with this company when you still went to center in the early 90's. Never again.

    I was highly disappointed in the food quality as well as the nutritional value of the Nutrisystem program. Also when I went online to confirm that I was not on any automatic replenishment program I could not find any information on my account so I called the customer service phone #. I was informed that all Nutrisystem accounts are a minimum of 2 months program. When I said I did not want a 2nd months delivery of food they said they would cancel but would charge me $125.00. VERY poor food and poor customer service.
