    I decided that I would not make any New Year's resolutions this year. I would just go on a diet on January 2, 2016. I wanted to try Nutrisystem and I saw sample boxes in Walmart so I bought one. With my mind made up to stick to it, I started Nutrisystem on Jan. 2nd. After 8 weeks of alternating the sample boxes (that contain 1 week of food) of food from Walmart, I have lost 32 pounds! It says you can lose up to 7 lbs. in 2 weeks and I lost a little more. The food tastes good and it works! I am getting ready to order food from their website now since I like the food and I know it works.

    I want to lose 40 more lbs. and I KNOW that I CAN do it on Nutrisystem. It is very affordable to try out a week at a time. I recommend doing that. They also have started selling Muffins, NutriCrush Shakes, and snacks at Walmart. It's nice to get those extras. I LOVE the dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bar. It's all good and I highly recommend it! I'm ready to try their other foods so now to sign up on Nutrisystem.com!

    I started the Nutrisystem plan 2 months ago and have paid over $650 for their food. I followed their guidelines religiously and when I called to cancel the program because it did not work I asked for my money back. The counselor stated the refund could only be returned in the first two weeks. Who is going to lose 10 pounds in two weeks?

    I couldn't have asked for a better weight loss program. When I would try dieting by myself I always seem to be hungry all the time and have starvation headaches. Not so with this program. I enjoyed the food, however, some food I could not eat because the spices were too hot, so then I would call and get substitutions with food that I do enjoy. I also want to say that the different people I talked to on the phone for food substitutions were ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. You have a wonderful business and I can't thank you enough for helping me lose the weight I've been dreaming about for the last 10 years.

    The food is great. I lost 56 pounds in 10 months, kept it off for 2 years after which I picked up a few stray pounds and did a "tune-up" for 2 months and got back down to my goal. Also I got to order all the selections I'd missed for so long and tried some new things like the frozen stuffed sandwiches for lunch which are addictive.

    I just turned 65 years old and needed to make some changes in my personal health and one of those changes was to lose the weight that was giving me that matronly look. Numbers on the scale were not important but how I felt about my body image was the goal. I did it! It was so easy and I have recommended it to others. The most helpful thing for me was the grab and go breakfast and lunch bars. Being in sales I would often not have time for breakfast or lunch so I would throw a couple of bars in my purse and eat them in between appointments.

    So my wife and I have been on Nutrisystem for two months going on three and we generally find the food to be good and the system to be very manageable under a busy schedule. With that said, my latest dealings with customer service really makes me question whether we want to continue. After 28 days has passed, Nutrisystem automatically charges the full amount of the food to your credit card and indicates that the food will arrive within 4-10 days. Prior to our most recent experience, the food would generally be sent 2-3 days and arrive 4-7 days after processing. Our third month started out the same but did not end up anywhere close. Nutrisystem did send the ready to go portion of both my wife and my order within 2-3 days (about 15% of all our food). However, as of the day of this writing, (eight days after processing) they have failed to send the large majority of the order.

    I would not be one to quibble about a few days if it were not for the complete lack of customer service that took place in response. When my wife called the first time to inquire about the order, after waiting on hold for 25 min, we were told it was "pending" and that if we wanted to get the order sooner, we should move the processing date up and that she "would expedite" the processing of the delivery of the pending order. Apart from Nutrisystem asking for us to pay quicker even though they failed to provide the food we already paid for, we agreed. Immediately thereafter, we both received an e-mail indicating that our order had been "delayed" and that our next order would process on the date we agreed.

    Upset that my order that was suppose to be "expedited" was now delayed, I again called back Nutrisystem and inquired about the delay. Following another 30 min wait and in a very condescending way, I was told that the delay notification was to an order that was in the future (but yet was somehow moved up) and that my current food was still processing. No explanation was provided as to what was taking so long or any concern whatsoever regarding my concerns over the delivery of food we have already paid for.

    So as of the time of this writing, no food has shipped. I reasonably believe that it won't be shipped based upon the lack of information being provided, and any further calls to customer service would just be a further waste of time. It is starting to feel like once they have you for a few months, the concern of retention is not nearly as strong as it is to get you in the first place. Please beware.

    Everything about this company is despicable. Not only have I been waiting since Feb. 16 for my frozen food, the customer service department is full of liars and crooks. I call Nutrisystem in good faith trying to save a little money because the money on their least expensive plan was atrocious. The girl on the phone said she could help me save $100 dollars a month, but neglected to inform me she'd be signing me up for another account, so instead of saving money, Nutrisystem walked away with $600 from me in the month of February. The worst part is, I have NO FROZEN FOOD to show for it, so despite spending all that money I am without frozen foods and am now off the plan.

    Oh, and I've been in touch with customer service around 6 or 7 times. Each times the person in the phone makes promises that they never keep, so when I call back to check on the things that I've been promised, the next customer service person says there's no record of anything and promises to put my order in. One thing Nutrisystem never forgets is to take your money, that's for sure! Heed the warnings of those who pose one-star review. This company is garbage. Do not ever do business with them. Jenny Craig may be more expensive upfront, but at least they're not full of crooks.

    I ordered my food on 1-31-16. I never received my package. They reshipped it twice, but I still never got it. I am out of food. I asked what the problem was, but they never had an explanation. It is now 2-29-16 and I still do not know what is wrong.

    While the agent I spoke with was not able to resolve my issue directly, Nutrisystem did contact me to resolve my issue fully. I wish their agents on the phone had authority to resolve this as it would have been much easier. That being said, I can respect any company that makes it right with their customer.

    Never again. I will not do business with a company that makes it difficult to cancel with them. It was NOT made clear upon purchase (as is usually the case with companies like these) that auto delivery is a requirement for the discount I received. Then, when going through the process to cancel and pay the $99 penalty for canceling, the agent was rude and hung up on me. I've done Jenny Craig in the past and cancellation was nothing like this. If I do a program like this again I'll do it with someone else. I got snookered. I hope you don't.

    This was my first month with Nutrisystem. Although it seems to be working for me, I'm incredibly disappointed with the amount of unwanted emails from Nutrisystem trying to upsell me on stuff... and I mean a lot of emails. In the midst of all the emails I didn't want, I failed to receive the reminder that my next order was about to ship and only noticed when I logged into my account and received a shipping notice when I hadn't yet picked my foods for the 2nd month. Since I threw items away from my first order (due to bad taste), you can imagine that I have no interest in paying for the same items that I won't eat. What a waste of money.

    My first experience with Nutrisystem will likely be my last, as I feel like they are being 'sneaky' with how they process auto-renewal. Plus, when you log into your account they offer NO OPTION TO OPT OUT/CANCEL FUTURE ORDERS ONLINE. My overall experience hasn't been too great. Wish there were more food options and wish there was better tasting food and wish they had fewer emails. Wish they had 1 VERY CLEAR email that food was ready to auto-renew, etc.

    I am a return customer. Successful 2 years ago. Lost 20 pounds - two months using Nutrisystem's food. Very happy with results - never used counseling services. Needed a kickstart this year so ordered a month's worth of food auto delivery - BE AWARE. Auto delivery are the key words. I was successful again within 2 weeks lost 7 lbs. I called to cancel my next order and was told I would owe $99.00. Learning then that I had bought a "program" not just the food. I had paid around $274.00 for the month. Was told the "program" was worth well over $500.00. Since I got a discount on the first month, I owed $99.00. Was told if I ordered lunches and snacks for next month - for $146.00 at least I would be getting something for my money. Counting my loss $$ wise... They charged my credit card the $99.00. I will not be a return customer.

    Updated on 03/07/2016: In response to an email I just received which read "We're excited to hear you reached a resolution with Nutrisystem. We hope your complaint was resolved to your satisfaction. Please log in to your ConsumerAffairs account to update your resolution experience and evaluate your star-rating." There was no resolution other than that Nutrisystem charged my credit card $99.00. So to me, that was not a "resolution" and no I am not happy. As said before I was a "return customer" and probably would have been for years to come (anytime I would need a jump start) in losing a few pounds. With this "resolution" I will not be a return customer!

    I have used this program including keeping track on the book provided. I never lost any weight. I tried to contact Nutrisystem several times to cancel my orders within the 14 days, but no answers on the phones even waiting over 40 min one time. The chat did not help either. I tried the chat and it would say "You have 5 min to wait." Well then it would say, "You now have 7 min to wait. Now you have 9 min to wait." Each minute that went by the time went up! I was not about to waste any more time waiting for a nonexistent staff member.

    Finally after month of calling and no weight loss, I find an email that is way down at the bottom of a page so small you can barely see it. I email them and tell them to please call me because I cannot get through. I get a auto reply saying they will contact me within 72 hours. 4 days later I finally get a call to a woman who does not know how to listen, she just kept accusing me of not doing the program correctly and saying I was missing things. She has no idea what she is saying because I did this program to the tee. I even used the books they supplied. No weight loss. I told this lady I wanted to cancel the program and she said I had to pay a $99 cancel fee. I said I do not want to pay this fee because I wanted to cancel this a long time ago but no way to get a hold of anyone on the phone or chat to do it.

    I waited several times just leaving my phone sitting there listening to the music for 30 min or 20 min or 45 min. I knew there was no way this call was going through. The lady I spoke to about canceling my order put me on hold for a supervisor and I waited over 40 min on hold and no one came to talk. I feel Nutrisystem purposely does not answer the phone when you want to cancel just so they can charge you that $99. I do not think I should have to pay the cancelation fee due to the company not being available to take my call. Nutrisystem is very unprofessional.

    The package was received on time. However, as soon as I opened one double chocolate cake it looked disgusting and old. I tried the turbo shake and it was a horrible idea. It made my stomach very upset. I called the customer service to check on my full refund status because I wanted to cancel my membership with them since it was still within 14 day and they said "they are having technical issues." I am leaving tomorrow out of the country and I just want my money back! Not to mention the reviews that I have read and the $100 that you have to pay in order to cancel the membership. I really hope that they are not scamming!!!

    I have been on the system for about a week. I have lost 8 pounds. The reason why? The food is terrible!! So far the dinner entrees have been a runny soupy mess. The picture on the front of the Santa Fe Chicken shows several pieces of chicken served over rice. Unfortunately I cannot upload the picture of what the food actually looks like. Once I finally removed the top covering to vent it, much of some runny brown sauce spilled all over. There was no runny sauce on the cover of the box. Also, there were maybe 4 small cubes of chicken inside. A meal I thought I would eat with a fork needed a spoon. Yes I did lose weight but the food is not good at all. I would not re-order anything I have tried yet.

    Nutrisystem did call and cancelled my account which was nice, I didn't have to pay any fees. I do like the food and did lose weight so I think in that aspect they are good, however, I do not think that you should ever have to wait longer than 15 minutes to talk to someone. They need to improve wait times, informative information and give consumers better ways to communicate if there are issues. I will be hesitant to sign up again for these reasons, good product, customer service needs work!

    My mother-in-law and I decided to order this through Groupon because it was a good deal. What we did not know nor we're ever told that it was on a 4 month auto-ship program that we could not cancel. We tried the initial bundle you can buy at Wal-Mart and both lost on that program so we thought we'd try it for longer than a week. Neither of us have lost using the monthly food so why would I continue to pay for a program that doesn't work? I tried over and over to cancel it online, but there is no option. I waited on the phone for an hour and a half to be told I cannot cancel my order without paying fees. I feel cheated and used by this company. You shouldn't make people pay for your product if it doesn't work, and you shouldn't make people pay to cancel it if they decide they don't like it!

    After being on the initial $300 starter Program for 3 weeks, and I've followed it to a T, I've only lost 2 lbs. I shocked to discover that all the products have a considerable amount of Carbohydrates and Sugar in them, which are way over the recommended amount per day. How can anyone lose any weight with that much carbs and sugar? I've had to stop the program, as it has messed up my Thyroid and other health issues. I've contacted them to cancel. I was then told that there is a $99 fee and they insisted it was explained to me when I first placed the order. Umm, no, I was not told that! They also said that I should have read their terms & conditions... Nice! I was also told that if I order the lowest priced program ($149) which is snacks & lunch... which has the most carbs & sugar then I can cancel with a $19.99 cancellation fee. Boy, they know how to get your money.

    I believe that if you are having a health-related issue, you should be able to cancel with no "hidden" fees or hassle. For those out there who are considering to choose any of their programs please do your RESEARCH on not only the calorie content and portions, but take a good LOOK at the amount of Carbs & Sugar listed. I just want to cancel now and not have to pay any more money. Thank you.

    To start off I was excited to try something new. I also am not one to think this food was going to be phenomenal, it's diet food. However as I started my first Turbo week I had the worst stomach cramps all day. To top it off, as I heated up my turkey sausage whatever they sent me for dinner it smelled like dog food. Still I proceeded to eat it and kept telling myself it's what I needed to do for results. As I ate majority of it I came across a hair! Now my entire family has long brown hair, this was a short disgusting gray hair!!! Disgusted and ashamed of the corporation, need I say more?

    I starting eating the products for the first day I received and continued for 2 weeks. I got a yeast infection, it's too many carbs for me, shake made me almost vomit. I emailed Monday 2/22 to ask for Money back since I purchased only because it said money back guarantee! I still haven't received a response, so I called yesterday, to find out the money back was only for the first 14 days, and she said it has been 18 days. That is Ridiculous and I will be sure to Post a Unsatisfactory Review online. Wow, I am really disappointed in this company.

    I found that the food I received to control my diabetes had too much starch from pasta and snacks too high in sugar. My readings increased from ten to twenty points. Some of the food was OK but some was very bland. I could not recommend to a fellow diabetic this plan. I have only been on the plan for a month and have lost two pounds.

    I have had a terrible experience with Nutrisystem! I had heard awful things about your customer service and now I know what people were talking about! In the past, prior to delivery I would receive multiple reminders about a future order and the fact that I could change my food choices. On Monday 2/22, I received a notice that my frozen food delivery had shipped. I called Nutrisystem and spoke with Briana to whom I explained that I had not ordered the Nutrisystem delivery nor had I been reminded that I had time to change my food choices. Briana suggested that the reminder was only a courtesy and although she said I had received a reminder on 2/15, I said that I saw no such reminder. I thought that perhaps I had missed the reminder email but when I checked later on in both my spam and deleted mail, there was no such reminder!

    However when I mentioned that I did not approve the credit card charge, nor did I have room in my freezer for this delivery, Briana told me that I would simply refuse the delivery and when I asked whether I would be charged anything including a stocking fee, she said no I would not be charged for the delivery FedEx, although I put a sign on my door telling them to return to sender, left frozen package at my door. To charge my credit card without giving me a heads up about time to reorder/change, which you had always done before, is like a switch and bait! Very unprofessional and an issue that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about. Also, dry ice was melted and not all food remained frozen so I am no comfortable using the food items that have defrosted. I have contacted my credit card company and am disputing the charge.

    Additionally when I asked to be credited the amount I had been charged, so that I could use my gift cards, the supervisor, Kim suggested that I would be making out on the transaction by getting a discount. However I purchased over $1000 in discount cards that I have been using since my initial entry into Nutrisystem and had a number of cards left to use so why would I not be afforded the opportunity to use my cards? Such offensive and poor customer service. Shame on Nutrisystem! Perhaps you do not want customers using discount cards so you ship the food without a prior notification so that you can bill to credit card and not allow customers to use their discount cards! What a terrible company!

    I bought Nutrisystem about 3 years ago from QVC. It started out great, I started losing weight, the food was filling and not so bad, even though it was, in my opinion, too loaded with sugar. Then was when my foot problems started. I developed a nickel size hole in my right foot. It did not bleed but was more like an open crater. I went to several doctors and no one could figure out the cause or a cure. This went on for about 8 months, terrible pain, 4 skin grafts, until the foot doctor gave up and I suggested that he just sew it shut, which he did and immediately another crater developed on my left ankle... Same pain, more doctors...

    I continued to be on Nutrisystem off and on through this time. I finally started taking notes on when the pain was worse, it was when I ate the sweet Nutrisystem bars. I then went back to cooking my own meals and immediately my wounds healed... I still have horrible scars on both feet. I feel like Nutrisystem contains too much processed sugars and other ingredients. I will never buy this product again and I hope people research the products before taking them.

    I have purchased the plan and I am not impressed with the products. I tried to change some of the products for my 2nd delivery and to change some products there is a $19.99 charge. This infuriated me. The plan is not cheap. The cost jumps to close to $400 a delivery. I called and was on hold for over 40 minutes. Their customer service dept is awful. I tried to cancel my membership on line and could not do that on line. I finally talked to someone in customer service and canceled my program and was even offered a discount if I did not cancel. Do you think that a discount should be given to anyone who continues to order product, not when they try to cancel. Then I was notified that there is now a $99.00 cancellation fee imposed because I did not take delivery of 2nd product. This is a typical money hungry big business that will try to bleed your last dollar from your account. BUYER BEWARE.

    I gave them 2 stars to try and be reasonable. My original order arrived in a timely manner (albeit with a subtle issue relating to the items I requested not being the ones I received), and in fairness I found most of the food to be good.     And to be clear, I was not mad nor was I looking for a refund... I just wanted to cancel my upcoming shipment and move on. I tried it, it did not work for me, but I did use the product so I had no real complaints. HOWEVER, it was at this point I was told that if I did not continue with the program that there would be a $99 cancellation fee. Are you kidding me??? So you offer a money back guarantee (which, to be clear, I did not ask for), and to cancel a service that I did not find effective you charge me still more money? Classy, very classy. I thought maybe after some time I'd give this another try, but not now. Congratulations -- you got my money. Good for you.

    I just received an order of 1 month of frozen food that I did not want or need or have room to keep. The representative said an email was sent on Feb 7, 2016 to delay or change my order. I checked old mail, deleted mail, spam mail, no such email. The 4 tiered box arrived yesterday with all frozen food, it has been distributed to several neighbors as my freezer was still completely full of January's order. In January I asked for only the frozen food to be sent (thinking 1/2 of a month's order would arrive) because I have a box full of your non-frozen which I just cannot eat.     After 2 weeks in the hospital and no desire to eat, the food was still there. I have cancelled my account, there are to be no more shipments, no more emails, and no more contact with your company. I have not been able to communicate with you with my computer (older) and have done most of my ordering, delaying, changing on the phone. The people have always been polite and helpful, the orders not always what I wanted. I do not like your non-frozen food and I'm not real happy with the frozen, some of my neighbors may find it more to their taste since it is in their freezers. I repeat, NO MORE FOOD, CANCEL MY ACCOUNT!!!

    I have been a customer of Nutrisystem for some time now. Recently I have noticed that the number of unwanted emails from Nutrisystem has multiplied, by a lot. In the midst of all the emails I didn't want, I failed to receive the reminder that my next order was about to ship and only noticed when I looked at my bank statement and saw a pending charge. This was pretty much the final straw for me as I believe the quality of food has been decreasing over the last 5 years, packaging is worse for the consumer (though probably cheaper for the company), choice is going down and overall the experience is not pleasant anymore.     I only wanted one month's supply of food but they required at least two months. The food they send to their basic subscribers is very bad. Every breakfast is sweet, 7/8s of the snacks are sweet, and the rest of the food looks like dog food and tastes bland and boring. They do allow you to choose your own meals, but they charge extra for that and frankly, the cost of the food they send is quite high for what you get. I have lost weight. But a lot of the times I just don't eat, rather than eat their food.

    I ordered Nutrisystem and it definitely did not work. I followed it as recommended by their program. First it is very high in sodium and the foods are not that tasty. I have had better MRE's in the military. To my surprise when I cancelled I was charged $99 for the cancellation. I guess that part was hidden somewhere in the fine print so buyer beware! All they are doing is limiting your caloric intake. You can do that on your own and eat healthier. I'm very disappointed with the program ripping people off.     Do not use Nutrisystem. I never received a confirmation email that my order was ever placed. After calling them I was told it must have been on my end. They had me change my email account and now I do get emails. After about 10 days on the system I decided I did not like it and did not wish to continue. The food is not very good. I called and they told me I signed up for a 2 order minimum. I told them that I did not like the food and the lady cancelled my 2nd order.

    I just received a phone call from a man at Nutrisystem asking me if I wanted to keep my 2nd order of shakes for 78 dollars or I could cancel the order and not get anything for 99 dollars. He says that I agreed to that in their Terms and Conditions. I do not remember that or I never would have placed an order. So now I'm getting shakes that I will throw or give away. How can Nutrisystem continue to charge for a product you are not happy with?? One more thing. Their app is junk. They do not even have their shakes listed so you cannot log them. I guess they don't even like them.

    You need to return food BEFORE 14 days to get your money back. You don't even have time to figure out if it's working or not. If you want to stop delivery it'll cost you $99.00. If you don't pay the $99.00 you'll need to buy another month's worth of food you don't want. If you're thinking of doing their plan, go to Wal-Mart and buy the stuff in a box. At least this way you'll only have paid for a week's worth of food. My advice is to always read the fine print. Some companies like this one really know how to stick it to consumers.

    I started the plan and I was pretty satisfied. My pounds were going away as I wanted. Then, I ordered food to my husband, using my credit card. He had never contacted Nutrisystem. After some months, we decided to suspend and then to cancel because of personal reasons. Cancel the program was a nightmare because they didn't want to cancel my husband's without his own call to the customer service... I was the one who order and it was my credit card. And my husband does not speak English. We were thinking about order again in a few months, but after that, we just decide not to have anything with this company anymore. We feel cheated with these obstacles to cancel. It was not fair.

    I've been reading so many negative reviews. I'm happy I didn't read them before I signed up. I did not encounter any of the problems I've been reading about.     While I decided, along with my roommate, to give Nutrisystem a try - it wasn't for us. Which was fine, no harm done. However when I attempted to cancel my order I was stuck in a queue waiting for just under two hours (due to the fact that you are not allowed to cancel online for some unknown reason) before deciding to try the "hold my place in line" call back option. When I was called back (another hour and half later) the line disconnected. I waited for another call attempt, it did not come. When I called back again, I was stuck in the same wait "line". I had to get to work so in lieu of playing this game I sent an email. The response was quick and attempted to offer me deals to get me to keep me and my roommate in the plan, which I declined and asked for both accounts to be canceled. Both of these accounts are on my credit card and was given no indication that there would be a problem with me canceling both.

    I left the country for a week following this and upon my return found the $200 charge to my credit card pending. When I called the help line, again waiting, I was told my roommate had to call and give me PERMISSION to cancel a charge on my own credit card that I was under the permission was already cancelled. He travels for work as well and is currently out of the country. We have the same address and the order was made by me, with my credit card, and is even under MY email. First and last time I EVER do business with this company. The order was done through living social.

    Based on our desire to lose weight we chose Nutrisystem. In order to save money, as this weight loss system is very expensive, we signed up for auto renewal. After using the program for a few weeks we made little progress, and realized that weight loss is simply reducing calorie intake.     I tried the company's Turbo 10 program and immediately began losing weight. In my case it seemed the program, when followed to the letter, acted like a purge. I lost 6 pounds in seven days and was thoroughly dehydrated even though I was drinking 60-80 oz of water daily. Frequent trips to the bathroom during this period were a hassle and I was experiencing leg cramps every night. The shakes provided did little to curb my appetite and much of the food wasn't very good. I decided to stop the program and was shocked to learn that I was going to be charged $99 as a "cancelation fee". When I signed up there was no mention of any such fee. In my opinion this is just another merchandising "shell game" by a company that can't be trusted. In the future, I cannot and will not recommend this company to anyone I know.     I purchased Nutrisystem Auto Meal Plan, which Auto Delivery is the only option you have to order this food so it's not really an option. I was dissatisfied with the food, the plan itself, and the customer service when canceling. The food was disgusting, the plan did not include everything you needed, so you had to purchase additional food at the grocery store. And when I tried to cancel the system, the salesperson was pushy, would not cancel my order even after numerous times of me telling him that I wanted to cancel and why. I told him he was being pushy and making me angry and I just wanted to cancel my order.

    Finally after several minutes of him continuing to sell me his pitch, I just kept repeating that I wanted to cancel my order. Finally he gave me a confirmation number of the cancellation. I was also informed I would be charged a $99 cancellation fee. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I would like to have received a refund for the products and the option to return the unopened packages but because of the salesperson pushiness, I couldn't get out everything I needed to ask. The only way I would want someone to contact me about this is with a solution of a partial or full refund.

    I signed up for Nutrisystem on the Men's program. I received the frozen part right away and when I didn't get the rest of the products, I called them. The young man that answered, said I was lucky to have even received this part due to all the weather back east. I informed him the shipment came from Nevada and wanted to know when the rest of my product would arrive. He stated it always take a few extra weeks to get the rest. I explained that the frozen portion was of no value without the rest and where was the rest of the product coming from? Upon him checking determined it was coming from the SAME warehouse the frozen product came from.

    At that point I said to cancel the order completely and refund my money. I asked "what address I needed to ship the frozen product back to", and he said that it is impossible to return that part and to just enjoy the frozen part. I said I did not want to keep just this part, and he informed me, that I had already paid for it and they would only refund the unfrozen part of the products back to me. As of this date, I have received no refund and after being on hold for over 24 minutes today to try to find out why, I just hung up.

    I tried the Nutrisystem turbo 10 program and it was a big failure. I adhered to the diet plan exactly and only lost 2 lbs. They advertise guaranteed 10 lb and 5 inch loss in the first month, but it did not work out that way. The food is terrible too. When I called and asked for a refund I was told that in the fine print of the contract I had to ask for the refund within the first 14 days. Never says that on TV AD though. How would you know halfway through the month what the end result would be? Very hard to deal with them. Don't fall for this scam.

    I bought my first NutriSystem monthly food to try out the food and see if having food delivered to my door was beneficial. All I wanted was a one time trial. The food arrived fine. Other than an abundance of snack food and energy bars it was just Ok. Ate some of the foods every other day or so. I signed in on the website to stop my next month's delivery since I would have much leftover. Clicked the box to "Delay Next Month's Delivery" and left it at that. On Feb 4th, 2016 at 6:00 PM I got an email that says my food order has been processed and I should expect delivery. "Good News! This email is to inform you that your Nutrisystem order (**) has been shipped to:..."

    I logged into my account. It said, "If you wish to make changes please do so by Feb 3rd." I called Customer Service and after 15 minutes of waiting the phone system told me I had to leave a callback number. I did. A CS Rep called within 15 minutes. I told her I had selected "Delay Delivery" weeks ago and that I wanted to cancel the order they were shipping. She told me she could not. I told her to cancel my NutriSystem account to keep this from happening again. She said and there would be a $100 cancellation fee to cancel my NutriSystem account(?).

    Not only did they charge my card the $329.00 for food I had selected not to receive weeks ago, they charged me the $100. $429 for food I did not want, for a service I did not want any longer. This is a scam. You sign up, you get monthly deliveries even if you don't want them, they take your money and then if you tell them to cancel it cost $100! I am going to re-post this all over the Internet to warn people it's a one-way street and you are at their mercy if you sign up just to sample the food.

    I had used Nutrisystem in the past and it worked well. It had been a few years and I gained some of the weight I had lost back so I decided to sign up again for a few months, just to correct myself again. This time around I had the option of frozen foods. The frozen food tastes so much better than the shelf stable meals, worth the extra money spent. After I reached my third week, 7 pounds down, I realized the meals didn't add up, I still had 7 breakfasts and 7 snacks left but I was short on lunches and dinners. The plan is for 28 days but I only received 24 lunches and 24 dinners. When I called to inquire why I was short changed they mentioned they changed the plans a few months back. Nowhere on the site is it listed that you don't get 28 days worth of food anymore. Customer Service couldn't locate that information on their site either.

    So they told me they could rush out my next order. I was in no hurry to pay for another month when I didn't even get a full first month yet, or a counselor could walk me through the 4 days of no food. If I can get by without the food for the next 4 days, why would I continue to buy the food? I was so upset I cancelled my next order and subscription. They really should warn you on the website that you only get 24 days of full meals in your 28 day plan. I was doing so well too, but I feel cheated so I will not continue with Nutrisystem.

    I joined 2 2015 hoping to lose 50 pounds and a lot of body fat. Body fat is my worst problem. I get the program with the frozen and shelf life, as I need to get as big of a variety as possible. I went off the program for the most part in June 2015 after losing 30 pounds, because of boredom with the food. I just started again full time two weeks ago Jan 2016. The weight is coming back off, and I hope to lose this last 25 as easily as the first 30 so I can just be done with it!

    I do my program online, not in person visits. I think that's important for people to know, because quite frankly, the online customer service and coaching sucks! They send form letter replies and if they do respond to me, they are rude. I get no help from the counselors when I am starving everyday, stuck on a plateau, or too hungry to exercise. I would have left long ago, except that NS is the least expensive food delivery program out there, most available, and if you stick with it, it works fast. I buy gift cards at the Costco website and use those every month, making the program even more affordable.

    Most of the food is decent. So many tomato based foods, though. Most meals have pasta, chicken or turkey. They have recently added a couple steak meals but they are seasoned with... ugh... soy sauce or lemon by the ton. Sauces aren't my thing! Every single lunch, (frozen) is a pocket sandwich and tomato flavor. Honestly, I dislike most every lunch they have, frozen or shelf life. They finally added a white mac and cheese this year, but that's just one meal. If it wasn't for the lunches, I would have done much better on this program. The frozen and the shelf stables never cook enough no matter how long I cook them. Nothing like crunchy rice or noodles! The bars, are so tiny and are all chocolate. Oddly enough, since joining NS, I have lost my craving for chocolate. Breakfast, dinners, and snacks are excellent. I use them up, I often end up getting rid of several of the lunches and providing my own.

    I never have the energy to exercise on program, but still lose weight. I am used to doing Richard Simmons DVD's for almost an hour, but have to skip exercise while on Nutrisystem because I don't have the energy. However, I do lose the weight. Honestly, I thought that after dropping 30 pounds, I would have been used to the calories and not constantly starving, but that hasn't happened yet. I give the program 4 stars because it does work and it's affordable. Affordable is huge with any diet program. If online customers service and lunches were better, I'd give this program 5 stars.

    About a month ago after seeing the Nutrisystem ads on TV, decided to sign up fro their program for both my husband and I. I phoned their sales department and signed up for their core program for myself and the vegetarian program for my husband. The salesperson was super nice and friendly and he informed me that we would be getting a month supply of food, which would be 28 days worth of breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks. He failed to mention that we have flex meals in between, so we would be short 1 lunch and dinner per week. When our orders came in, not only we were short those 4 lunches and dinners each, I also didn't have one dinner and my husband one breakfast.

    So I called Nutrisystem the next day. The girl who answered was super nice and I explained to her my situation. She apologized for the mistake and reassured me that we would be getting the 4 dinner and lunches that we are missing the plus the 1 dinner and 1 breakfast from the rest of the order. Before our second month order come out, I went online to change some of the food choices and I noticed again that we are missing the 4 lunches and dinners again. I was confused so I called customer service again and this time the girl who answered wasn't nice at all and she said that is our flex program and you don't get 4 lunches and dinners in a month. So I told her "Why wasn't I informed the very first time that I signed up for the program? And even the second time I called customer service they didn't mention that to me and they said they'll send me the rest of the missing meals."

    She kept going on and said that the reason for replacing those, because I was missing items. I was so frustrated and she kept saying "You got one month food", and I said "No, that's not one month and you charge for 1 month." I asked to talk to her supervisor and she put me on hold for a long time, so I just hung up.

    Then last night our missing food from the first order came in and even though it was suppose to be 4 dinners and lunches for my husband and I plus one extra missing dinner and breakfast. but the package was incomplete. We were still missing 1 dinner and 1 lunch each plus one of my husband's dinners was chicken, instead of vegetarian. So I called this morning and the guy who answered my call was really rude and inattentive. He said the notes says that I was explained last time it was a flex program, and I said "This is regarding my first order and when I spoke to your customer care the first time she said she will send them to me and now it's incomplete and you sent chicken for my husband."

    I told him after my second month delivery I'm cancelling my order and he said "You have to phone back after you receive your package and cancel then." What difference does it make if I'm telling you now to go ahead and cancel my third month delivery? Why do I have to call in again and cancel? I asked to talk to a supervisor and he kept asking what the reason was. I told him poor customer service and delivery and he put me on hold again after I repeated myself few times to talk to a supervisor, then my call was disconnected. I am so frustrated. This is suppose to be easy. You charge me for a full month, send me a full month. I am so fed up with the confusion and lack of proper communication. Horrible customer service.

Learned so much about portion size that I was able to continue with my lifestyle change thanks to the tools Nutrisystem gave me.     I loved the idea of Nutrisystem, just eat! And it does work. I lost 12lbs in my first month (I didn't drink the shakes as I was nursing), and 19.5lbs by the second month. However, as a Canadian the frozen foods were never an option, and I'd like to think that the frozen foods probably taste way better. I had to cancel my order today (I still have a box of my third month's food) because I have developed an aversion to the food. I love the breakfasts but some of the lunches, and most of the dinners just are no longer for me.

    A lot of the foods have a very intense bean taste, and I just can't stomach it anymore. I wanted so much for Nutrisystem to be successful to my goal (which was 40 lbs post pregnancy!) but after this box is done, which I hope I can make it down a total of 25- 30lbs, it will have to be it. On the plus side, I have learned that you can still have something sweet or salty every day and be successful to losing weight. I have also learned that I can eat smaller portions again, so hopefully I can continue to do so going forward in my weight loss journey. Maybe Nutrisystem can consider shipping frozen foods to Canada in the future.

The guy that posted on the 26th said he was charged 79 dollars. I guess they just randomly decide what to charge people. You pay enough for the disgusting stuff they send. Never mind getting charged because you do not care for it and cannot afford it. The food my dogs eat look more appetizing. Cancellation# **. Think twice before you get caught up with this company.

    I was very disappointed with my experience with Nutrisystem. Not only is it one of the most expensive diets out there, the food is mediocre and not filling. I've participated in several different programs throughout the years such as Weight Watchers, 21 Day Fix, etc. (all very pleasant experiences). With Nutrisystem the food was just not good. What they fail to tell you when you sign up is that there is a 99$ cancellation fee if you decided to cancel after your first order. This is just bad customer service. They are making enough money anyway when you decide to purchase the plan. Having a $99 cancellation is ridiculous. Will not be recommending this to anyone.

    I received a BOGO free coupon for a la carte items on both my NuMi app and email. When I attempted to use it, it was limited to one single item per order. AND they were charging for shipping. Therefore, with the coupon, I was going to pay $2.79 for two muffins, plus $7.99 shipping. I called customer service and they confirmed that the coupon was limited to one item. Well, that is not much of a coupon IMHO.

    I have been on Nutrisystem for 4 months. I have been very happy with the weight loss and food. However, on my landing page, there is an advertisement for my plan and pricing. The price of the plan I am on went down $80/month from what I am paying. I called customer service, who told me that they couldn't match the rate on listed on my page after login unless I was a new customer who had only been on the plan a month or so. She passed me to sales to quit and rejoin. Sales passed me back to customer service. Customer service sent me back to sales. The sales team could pull up and see the advertising, but also asked me to email a picture of the online ad. They said that some would contact me within 24 hours. I have been waiting a week for my call.

    The ad has since been replaced with a higher price ad. I still have a picture of the ad and I am unclear why they could not honor the price that they put up or call me back as promised. Very disappointed. Customer service is very important to me and I felt like I was just passed from dept to dept and then instructed to wait for a call back. Feeling like I wasted a good part of my day and then dismissed.

    I have dieted on and off for years and have been overweight probably for the last 10 years. I can't seem to find anything that I can stick to or that doesn't make me feel deprived or like I'm missing out on things I love. Nutrisystem has given me a healthy way to look at life without giving up my favorite yummy foods and drinks. For example, I learned today that I can still have my Dunkin Donuts bagel and iced caramel latte while on the program. If I choose to have the iced caramel latte on my Nutrisystem days, it counts as a power fuel. If I choose to have it and my bagel on my "on your own days", it counts as my entire breakfast. This may seem minimal to some, but it's a huge deal for me. I'm a huge coffee person, so to not have to give up these things is amazing.

    The food is delicious, much to my surprise! I'm always skeptical about trying programs that have you eating their own foods but I took a chance with Nutrisystem and am so glad I did. Sure, there's a few things that I wasn't crazy about, but now I know not to order them on my next order and try something else. That's life, every person won't like everything. The program is so easy to follow and the fact that I still can incorporate "regular" foods like milk, cheese and lunch meat, makes sticking to it much easier for me. Sure, it's difficult giving up goodies like ice cream and cookies and I do have my slip ups every now and then, but overall, I find it so simple to stick with the program. Thank you so much, Nutrisystem, for creating a program that tastes good, is easy to stick to and doesn't make me feel like I'm missing out on anything!

    The same issue have come up in several of the previous reviews that I now wish I had read before deciding to try out Nutrisystem for a month. I didn't know anything about it except it seemed convenient. The web site is confusing but there was an option to get started so I selected that and my first shipment just arrived. I was sent the turbo take-off for the first week, which seems to have 7 of everything, making sense. The rest of the shipment has 11 breakfasts, 8 lunches, 8 dinners and 11 snacks, which doesn't add up to one month. I then logged into my account and found out there should be a second shipment - still waiting for that.

    HOWEVER, I also found out there was another order scheduled for a second month, which I had no idea I had signed up for - should have read the fine print indeed! When calling Nutrisystem they gave me the same $99 to cancel as others have mentioned - OUTRAGEOUS!!! Based on this business model, I will not continue even if I like the program - I do not want to support this kind of trickery and I want others to beware!

    I am not saying nutrisystem does not work. My husband lost about 20 lbs. his first month. He was about 80 lbs overweight. So for someone that is a larger size the weight comes off quicker no matter what diet you did if you cut out enough calories. I wanted him on this program so it would be more restrictive and he wouldn't have to figure out his food. For those things it is a great program.

    However, when it comes to the food, it is not as appetizing as the pictures you see online. First there is hardly any meat in anything except in the chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese. Most of the packaged stuff you get that is not frozen is awful. The flavor is awful. There are almost beans in everything, and it all has about the same taste and there is loads of sauce in the entrees which takes the place of the food. Whatever the sauces were thickened with did not have a good flavor. The egg omelet (if it was an egg) was rubbery and spongy. The breakfast muffins (blueberry, apple muffins, etc.) came in December and expired in May. What food could possibly last that long and be good for you? Very disappointed that I paid that much for such awful food. You can watch your portion size and eat regular healthy food with chemical and achieve the same results. Don't waste your money!!!

    This has historically been a communication issue between Nutrisystem and UPS or FedEx. Rather than delivering their products to me, the driver will deliver the product to the Manager's office. Not knowing where the product was, it often would spoil. Using their delivery tracking system noting the incorrect address, I'd contact Nutrisystem, they in turn would advise me to contact the shipper. The shipper would advise I needed to contact Nutrisystem and again I'd not receive the product. Calling Nutrisystem was frustrating in that I'd be placed on hold for 15 minutes after dealing with a frustrating phone tree trying to reach a live person. After months of this issue it appears to be more than Nutrisystem can address so will be terminating. Too many problems. Poor service.

    I wanted to thank Nutrisystem for handling my complaint in a timely and professional manner. Quite frankly I didn't expect to get this matter resolved but to my surprise Nutrisystem stepped up to the plate and resolved this issue to my satisfaction. Kudos to Nutrisystem and to their customer service department!

    First of all I learned that you read the fine print before you order food from a food delivery company like Nutrisystem. They had an enticing program in which they discounted the first shipment by $20.00 and which included free shipping. When my wife didn't care for the food from the first shipment I of course put in a cancellation request for the second shipment. What I didn't realize was they charged me back the $20.00 and included a $79.00 shipping fee when I canceled. What kind of company would do this? When consumers order for the first time they are trying to determine if they like the product. When they don't, they shouldn't be penalized and made to order for a second time. Shame on you Nutrisystem!! Please read the fine print before you order for the first time! Don't be a victim like we were.

    So far, after spending $200 for 20 days of nutrisystem food, I lost only three pounds. I don't have a scale at home. I used the digital one at the doctors. I admit I snacked with healthy choices this last week, so maybe I need to go back to the grindstone. I am sort of getting tired of the same ok foods. But the Homestyle and Jumpstart kits at $44.50 are not too bad. I added calories to be around 1200 a day. The online calculator to lose weight said I need 1500. I will plug on. Getting costly. And it is the only way for me to buy the nutrisystem foods. I get mine at walmart with my food card. Mother of twelve at 180 pounds now.

    My husband and I were on the plan, and followed it religiously for 3 months. He lost a total of 1 pound; I gained a total of 3 pounds. We've since gone on a low carb diet, and are losing weight. Nutrisystem is too high in carbohydrates and sugar - "Sweet and sour chicken" has 37 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of sugar. This is typical of the diet as a whole. I was told they used sucralose, not sugar, but that is not what the list on the meals and snacks. They are lying to their Customers.

    I like the program but weight loss is slow. Ordered fast 5 and did not lose 5 lbs like guaranteed. Called customer service and she kept over talking me. Said I didnt lose because I had started Nutrisystem I bought at store before that. Only lost 2 lbs in a month. I was on this before and it does work eventually. My cholesterol went down 50 points in 6 weeks last time. It is convenient, just want to lose more than I am.

    I signed up for Nutrisystem 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been following their regiment to the T. I have lost 6 pounds in this time period! I have called customer service with questions probably 5 times about various things that I didn't understand. They have an option to call you back if they are too busy, so I did that and they Always called back within 20-30 mins. The ladies who I talked to were very friendly and helpful. The food: Ok, the food could be improved. The dinners I do not like, but the other foods (snacks, breakfast, lunch, snacks) are fine. I would stay away from the Tuscan Pasta dinner and other meals that are not frozen. They are pretty nasty. That is my only complaint.

    I decided to try Nutrisystem due to the fact that the plan seemed easy to follow with their pre-packaged food. In theory, this plan should work but, in practice, the food is horrible. The non-frozen entrees that were shipped with my first order actually smelled so bad (think dog food) that I could only take a few bites. I tried the diet for 10 days and, because of the bad quality of the food, I realized I could not continue with the program. After 11 days, I called to cancel the auto-delivery and was informed that, even though it was within the "14-day" 100% satisfaction money back guarantee period, I was told there would be a $99 cancelation fee.

    DO NOT BELIEVE THIS COMPANY! It became clear after speaking to their rude customer service representative that this isn't much better than a scam. In other words, they hook you into their program by telling you they are offering a $20 discount on your first order only to charge you $99 to cancel a program that offers inedible food. There is no 100% money back, satisfaction guarantee with this company - quite the opposite. I could not and would not recommend this company to anyone. Beware!

    I am 2 weeks into Nutrisystem & have had a 2lb weight loss so far. To be within normal range, my goal is to lose 30lbs. I have to say that if you watch the infomercial you do not get all of the details. They do not tell you that you will only receive 28 days of snacks and breakfasts but 24 days worth of lunch and dinners. The 4 days you are short lunch and dinner, you are on your own. Just keep that in mind. The size of the food for me is satisfying but when you are used to the taste of homemade food, yes... this does taste very processed. There are many items I just cannot eat because they do not taste very good.

    At times I have looked at the back of the packages to see the a calories, fat & fiber, etc... and made something comparable to eat that I like. I'm finding as I do this, it would have just been easier taste wise and money wise to go back to a Weight Watchers plan where I can eat healthier options that taste good & are not so processed. I was hoping that this would have been an easier plan due to the fact that you are not counting points or calories, etc... but a lot of the food is just not worth it. If you are now eating from a package all of the time vs home cooked meals this will probably work better for you than me. I'd rather go back to making home cooked meals & just alter some of the things I was using, along with the portion size. Unfortunately Nutrisystem requires you to place 2 months worth of orders or you have to pay an early cancellation fee so beware.

    After reading many many poor reviews of the NutriSystem customer service experience, I was ready to call and cancel my first week on the program - not wanting the hassle and headache should there be more issues. My first shipment contained beef and pork items that I can't eat and thought I had omitted from my order. I was fully expecting to have an uncomfortable telephone conversation with a rude service person. HOWEVER much to my delight the customer service representative was not only kind, efficient and very professional but she prepared to replace my beef/pork items with others of my choosing and fixed my future orders. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. With this experience, I may just go on to month 2 and see what happens.

    I placed a order with Nutrisystem. My first order was suppose to ship out Jan 17th, 2016. All of a sudden I get an email my order was shipping and I got it delivered Jan 2nd 2016. Basically they charged my card earlier than expected. The food they provide is pretty bad, its actually very bad. My pet wouldn't eat the leftovers. I tried feeding them from how horrible the quality is. So Ive been trying to cancel the order since Jan 11th and kept getting disconnected with customer care and got unhelpful reps. Finally a rep on the 16th canceled my ordered. They also charged my account $99 to cancel. This wasn't authorized and they wont return the product. Beware of this company, go with a organic company, go with Seattle Sutton or one of the organic companies. Nutrisystems food is VERY bad and their customer service is horrible. They charge unauthorized fees. BEWARE

    I purchased Nutrisystem cinnamon buns at Walmart in Hackettstown, NJ in the past week. The lot number is SF110715 Expiration May 5, 2016. I ate one in the morning of 1/17/16 and during the day and the next morning (now) have been experiencing intermittent sharp pains in my intestines/stomach and feel somewhat nauseous. I also developed an eye infection in one yesterday requiring antibiotics.

    This morning I opened a second package from the same box. From the top the cinnamon bun looked fine, but when I went to remove the drying package under it, noticed in the dim light of my kitchen what I first thought was ink all over the cardboard. I removed the package and then looked at the cake portion of the bun and noticed it was completely covered in mold. I called customer service today and was told that I should return them to Walmart and that I can send an email to customer incidents at Nutrisystem, which I did.

    I was on Nutrisystem for approx. 4 months and lost 21 pounds. That was great! The food wasn't bad and it was easy to prepare. I was going to continue ordering Nutrisystem but the price kept going up. I ordered the basic plan which started at about $215.00 and 2 boxes of shakes at about $12.00 each. I called today to reorder and was told it would be $290.00. I checked my receipt for last month and saw where I was also charged $290.00. When I started the plan I got 40% off and I asked if that would apply to the orders I made after the first month and I was told it would but apparently it did not.     I have been trying for HOURS to get in touch with NutriSystem to cancel my order within the 14 day money back guarantee period. I would like to return order my order under this money back guarantee, and every time I call I am on hold for over 1 hour.     I did not receive the discount offered when I placed my order. When I entered the discount code it said it would be applied AFTER I completed the order. After I enter all my information, including the payment, no discount was given. I was afraid that was the case as anytime I have used a discount code, it is applied before you enter your credit card information. After I receive my food and it is scary to me, full of preservatives and who knows what. They ship meat and sauces that never have to be refrigerated, they have to be full of chemicals! (You may lose weight but you may gain health issues, like cancer) You probably will lose weight because most of the food is terrible so you don't eat! Wax covered cardboard for the snack bars and some of the lunch and dinner's, absolutely terrible!

    Here is my biggest issue. I never requested automatic shipments, specifically and most definitely did not want auto ship but received notification of my next order. WHAT! Yes, they are very misleading, read other complaints. They hide it in the fine print and then charge you $99 to cancel. If that were clear in the ordering process, I would not have ordered it, which of course is how they rip you off!!! I am looking into the preservatives and chemicals used in this "food" as it can not be good for you. I can not believe Marie Osmond supports and promotes this product, this company. This is a ripoff and quite possibly a health risk! I work in marketing and advertising and this is false advertisement, misleading consumers! I am very disappointed in Nutrisystem in all aspects! I was excited to try this plan, only to find out they are only out to take your money!

    I decided to join Nutrisystem because I have a lot of weight to lose. I signed up for auto delivery thinking that I would continue. After a little over 2 weeks, I decided that Nutrisystem is not the program for me. I sent an email. After 2-3 days no response. I then wrote 2 more emails and then got a response saying that someone would contact me. I received a message on my phone that I could not understand. I played it over and over, but could not understand it. The next day (today) I got two more phone calls. I had had a medical procedure, so I didn't answer my phone, but listened to the messages. This time I could understand the messages. I then wrote an email saying that there was no need to call me, but I just wanted to cancel. I then got another call saying that my order was cancelled, but I would be charged $99, which, in my opinion is totally outrageous. I shall not be recommending Nutrisystem because of the $99 and not the program itself.

    So many things happened I can't even begin. First and foremost when I ordered my 30 program, I CLEARLY specified that I DO NOT eat pork or beef. They sent me pork and beef entrees with my 7 day boost pack. I called several times and waited on hold for an hour each time. I was told that a supervisor would call me back so I wouldn't have to wait on hold any longer. FOUR DAYS LATER with NO call I called again and waited on hold for over an hour again. I have started my program 7 day boost program but will not have food to eat on Friday (four days away) since they sent the wrong meals. Their solution is to send me to a counselor that can talk me through what foods I can buy at the grocery store to replace the meals they sent incorrectly. I PAID for these meals and now I am responsible to pay for meals that need to be replaced because they sent the wrong items???

    They refuse to send the items 3 day air much less NDA. COMPLETELY absurd. Also BE VERY careful when placing your order. They very sneakily put you on an auto- renewal program. IF you happen to catch it in the very tiny print way down below, it is then nearly impossible to find how to change it. I consider myself a very computer savvy person. I order items online on a weekly basis, no exaggeration! However, they fooled me and I imagine have fooled MANY others. My options now are... to hope my meals arrive to me on Friday but I have no guarantee and I will either have to pay another $334.00 for another month's meals or pay $99.00 to cancel early. I only need to lose about 7 pounds so I guess I will be forced to pay the $99.

    I signed up for Uniquely Yours diet program and order my first shipment of food yesterday 1/9/2016 (Saturday). I don't usually order by phone but someone but a Nutrisystem rep told me calling is the best way to sign up so they can answer my questions. Kaitlin is the name of the customer rep that helped me yesterday. Before I ended our conversation I asked her if I will be receiving an invoice or receipt of my order through email, and she said yes. So hours after my order or transaction with her, I decided to check my email, until before I sleep last night. There was no email. It is Sunday now and I am worried because I did not receive any email up until now.

    I called customer service today and I have been holding for 3 hours now (I am still on hold while writing this review). This is terrible! I cannot even talk to anyone. When I am ordering they are quick to answer but once they got your money they will put you on hold forever! This is ridiculous! I am going on 4 hours on hold now. They said I can always call the diet consultants but it is apparent that they don't have one. 3 hours going on 4, and still on hold. Please address this issue or I will do what I can to make this known by everyone. You should know better and be reliable... I don't think Nutrisystem company is reliable at all... Just my second day as a member and I am afraid I was scammed!

    What a colossal disappointment. I joined, carefully selected my foods, opened the box to great confusion. Half of the foods I picked were substituted with foods I am allergic to, I do not like and will not eat. Literally half, with a note that they're limited quantities of what I ordered. Seriously, if they were limited then they should regroup, stop advertising. I ordered pastas, pizzas, hamburgers and I received chicken noodle soup, chili and beans, and tortilla soup. Pitiful. I called to cancel my order and they are going to charge me a cancellation fee - for food I did not order. If they can't get it right the first time, would anyone really think they could get it right on future orders? Never again. I can diet on my own with foods I like and save $400.

    Like other reviews, Nutrisystem doesn't provide full disclosure on what you are getting yourself into. I was under the assumption that I will be getting 4 weeks of meals. Which is not the case nor is it stated. First, Nutrisystem doesn't provide information on what you are receiving, how many meals and when. All you get is a tracking number. When I received my package, it was short. When I chatted online with a rep and talking to a rep via phone, come to find out that you have to provide your last 4 lunches and 4 dinners. It isn't until the next order you receive your full 28 days worth of meals. Then when I called to complain and cancel my future orders, come to find out there is $99 dollar fee to cancel since I choose auto delivery. It is not explicitly stated what auto deliver is nor is it obvious to get a basic plan. They are not transparent on what you are getting into.

    Taste didn't bother me first few months. I did lose weight, about 20 pounds But then I couldn't stand the smell, or taste anymore. It became revolting. It was like 100% preservatives. If you only need to do it 2-3 months it may be ok. I ended up donating several months to the Houston Food Bank because I was tardy on shutting off my shipments.

I was told at that time I would get my refund posted to my account within 10-14 days (not business days) from the date they receive my return. Nurtisystem acknowledged they received my return on 12-8-15 when I called and they had till 12-22-15 to credit my account with my refund of over $300.00. I was told then that if my account wasn't credited by the 22nd of December to call them on the 23rd and they would manually credit the money back into my account. I did this tonight and I am now being told they will "manually" credit my account in 3-5 business day. So Nurtisystem has had my money for 33 days and want to keep it another 5 days. What shame they have going. I would not recommend doing business with Nurtisystem to anyone!

    I started back on Nutrisystem this month. I took the fast 5 select plan 4 weeks (28 day). When I went online to manage my next shipment, I could only choose 24 lunches and dinners. When I called customer service, they told me that I am on a flex plan (new program). After much discussion I was switched to a diabetic diet so I could get 28 days of food at the price I was quoted, but only for 1 month. I need 28 days of food consistently and should be able to have it for the price I was quoted. Not happy. My future body depends on this and Nutrisystem is failing me. I received email asking for feedback. When I clicked on the link it said "The end" unable to give feedback. With pressure I am receiving the 4 lunches and 4 dinners that I was shorted. This is the first I have heard of flex plan and not enough food to complete my monthly program.

    I have been on Nutrisystem off and on now for the past 3 years. The meals are balanced, tasty and help you to not get too hungry. If you stick to it you will lose weight. I have tried to get around having to receive a monthly order by buying meals like these at my local grocer but the meals are either too salty, not balanced or just too bland. Weight Watcher meals at the grocer are terrible IMO. Compared with Nutrisystem they are tasteless. Nutrisystem surpasses anything I have ever had at the grocery store. I am very happy with Nutrisystem. If you have to diet I highly recommend.

    I ordered the core program. It says cancel anytime. Nowhere does it say you will be charged 87$ if you cancel after first shipment. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told there was no supervisor. I was also told a supervisor would tell me the same. They were so sweet when I ordered and so arrogant when I called to cancel. I told them they had false advertising and she said I could ship it back and pay for postage. This company is only after your one way or another. Stay away.

    I ordered Nutrisystem because I have been trying to lose weight. Unfortunately I am in the midst of moving and do not have access to a microwave or any appliance. So I cannot comment on how the program works to be fair. The reason I feel cheated is that when I ordered it, I was given promotional discounts for something called "Auto Delivery" which supposedly means that you need to get at least 2 orders and I would be fine with it if the website CLEARLY stated that. I have attached an image where it says "Cancel Anytime" and I figured that I will cancel it for now and re-order once I am settled in and have clearer objectives.

    I called and the rude lady tells me to go read the terms and conditions. Hey, they need to stop FALSE advertising. I was charged $87.5 for cancelling which is ~33% of what I paid for the first month. I feel cheated and this goes to showing how ethical this company is. I was truly interested in trying this program but thanks to this experience, I am not going anywhere near them again. Beware of what you order.

    Well, ordered this about months ago. Food made me sick but I never returned (I've read that you have to pay lot of money in case of a returning) so, I sat on it and decided to postpone my next order until I found time to call and deal with customer service for a full cancellation. Called today to cancel my program and guess what? They charged me $119 for cancellation - charged my 20% discount I paid when joined. So, am I suppose to pay for a product I didn't like? This is nothing, but a trap. I feel disrespected as a customer! Truth about Nutrisystem: very processed food (if you have a sensitive stomach, forget about it), blend and, of course, a trap.     I am very disgusted with my overall experience with the program and the customer service. I have called to cancel and clearly specified the reason I am canceling and no one really cared. I tried for 2 weeks and was sick from it for 2 weeks. Not a great experience that after every meal you need to go throw up or run to the bathroom. Constant heartburn.     After a month of trying NutriSystem I realized it wasn't the program for me. I tried emailing the company numerous times as that was the way I joined, no response. I tried calling, was often put on hold. When I finally did get through and tried to cancel the program, which is very difficult for me as I have a hard time saying no to people, the customer service representative tried to talk me out of canceling and basically wouldn't take no for an answer. She made me very upset and made me feel as if I wasn't really trying for it would take a long time to "lose that amount of weight". The call finally ended, I didn't hear any more from them or receive any shipments for a month. I happily thought all was resolved.

    All of a sudden, out of the blue I got an email. My next shipment was on its way. When I got home a large box was at my house. They now want me to pay $19.99 to return the shipment of food which I never ordered. They also informed me that a non-refundable frozen shipment was on its way and there is no way to stop it or return it. This is a scam!!! I tried the program for a month and called to cancel. They seem to think they can continue to send me shipments and charge my credit card. DO NOT USE NUTRISYSTEM UNLESS YOU ARE SURE IT IS THE PROGRAM FOR YOU AS IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL!!

    I had great success losing weight with Nutrisystem. I was holding onto 10lbs for years since having my three daughters and worked out constantly, thought I was eating right, but simply couldn't lose the weight, so I joined.     Nutrisystem works! Bottom line, if you follow the program, you WILL LOSE WEIGHT! I lost 50 pounds in 6 months. I started with the Fast-5 program and lost 3 pounds and 1.5 inches in the first week. After the first month I was down about 15 pounds and looked and felt great! I did upgrade to My Way Select foods program after the first month. The Core Plan was fine and food wasn't bad. I just knew if I was going to do it long term, I needed some options and different food. Once I was on the Select plan, I never had the desire to cheat as all flavors were fulfilled (salt, sweet, etc).

    I travel for work and the convenience breakfast, lunch and snack/dessert bars are a savior and I plan to keep buying them. They fill me up and I never had the urge to grab a fast food items. I really learned what to eat and what not to eat from the program tools. I really a lot about portion sizes and continue to apply what I learned to my everyday eating. I do feel that a big part of my success is that I exercise 5 - 6 days per week for 45 mins each session. I started with just walking on the treadmill and now run and do resistance bands training to firm up my body.

    The program is simple to use and easy to follow. The customer service folks were so easy to work with when I was ready to move away from the program and only buy maintenance bars/snacks. If you are serious about losing weight and ready to start a new life, this program works! I hope my story inspires someone else. I always wanted to try the program and wishes I had called years sooner! I have NEVER felt better in my life.

    I placed the original order 2 and 1/2 weeks ago, the order was placed with a chat assistant online, at no point I was informed about this auto shipping. I did receive an email informing about the auto ship is about to be sent in 3 days. I went online to cancel, can't do that. Start a chat and got the same sales person that assisted me with the order, Sarah. She said to call the 1-800 # which I did. The customer service was rude and argumentative with me. Wanted to charge me the discount that was given to me by the chat sales person. When I said that I would post a review for bad practice as far as not informing customer of auto ship and this would definitely earn a bad review as far as his service and Nutrisystem chat sales person for not disclose all the rules of the discount, after a few minutes of very upsetting conversation, did agree not to charge me for the discount "because it was the right thing to do".

    I usually read online reviews, for some reason I did not check this company before buying. The 3 stars is for the improvement on the food itself. I still do not like the fast of the sweet items, I dislike all sugar free products. All the dessert and some of the bars contain sugar free product. I lost 4 pounds on week one, 2 pounds on week two, on my third week now. Will not be doing this diet ever again.

    I wrote customer service at Nutrisystem. They promised an answer in 48 hours. None came. I heard all your ads. I needed to lose weight. I'm pre-diabetic, on the verge of going over the edge to diabetic. When I first found this out, I was serious about learning how to eat properly, and prepared delicious meals, lost 17 pounds and put my A1-C and blood glucose levels back very close to normal. Then I had a very stressful two years, where I ate for comfort, and gained back my weight. So I decided to try Nutrisystem. Boy, was that a challenge and as I'm finding a mistake. First, I asked the important question to your counselor. "Can I use your program and be safe with Nutrisystem? Do I need to be on your D-Nutrisystem plan." I was told NO, that the ordinary plan would work for me without risk.

    So I signed up. Your delivery department got the shelf-safe foods to me, but could not guarantee delivery of the frozen foods to a schedule where I would be home (I fought the battle of long waits on hold to reach an operator, and equally long battles with FedEx whose vacation delivery option does not work). So I cancelled the frozen food portions of my order, and after consideration of the hassle I was getting into, I cancelled my membership. Nutrisystem refunded my money and did not ask for me to return the shelf-safe foods. So last Sunday, I started the Fast Five + plan which I have religiously followed with exact meals allotted; 4 servings of proper portion veggies; and 8 glasses of water a day. I logged all my foods including Nutrisystem with My Fitness Pal, and started back to my 50 minutes a day water aerobics and water jogging routine.

    I have lost the five pounds as promised. However my blood sugar readings are way out of whack. 25 to 45 points higher in 4/5 days. I have also noticed: 1. The meals do not keep me feeling filled. Small bars with a sugary taste even though sugar grams are not that out of line, make me feel that I am eating cakes and cookies. My breakfasts normally include eggs, small amounts of fresh fruit, low fat/low sugar plain yogurt, protein shakes. I will go back to them. 2. The only way I can fill anywhere close to full is to drink lots and lots of water, or unsweetened tea (decaffeinated). 3. Veggies are blah without at least a little seasoning. So I'm going back to my prior way of preparation. 4. Your prepared meals, mostly pasta, which my glucose intolerance does not tolerate, taste like cardboard. Have not found a single one I liked. 5. Your lunches are a farce. The microwave entrees, all boil over even when prepared to directions.

    I have stocked my kitchen with healthy organic where possible foods, non-dairy except for low sugar/low fat yogurt, gluten-free and the fruits and vegetables that I know work. And start spending the time preparing my own meals. The cost difference is not a problem, because your costs were exorbitant. I know I can buy my groceries as effectively by watching specials at my local supermarkets. The Fast Five is over in 2 days. I'm going to see what the glucose levels are for the last two days..and then that's it (Note: for the last 2 days, they were even higher). I know that your site is full of rave reviews, unfortunately mine are not among them. As I said no one in the nutrition or sales department bothered to answer my email.

    I started Nutrisystems about 18 months ago. I have congestive heart failure and had a pacemaker/defibulator put in a four years ago. My cardiologist told me to lose weight when I was 282 pounds. When I called, the black woman I spoke with that kept saying "AX" - as in - "let me ax you a question" - was USELESS. She even laughed when I told her to STOP charging my card and within minutes I had ANOTHER charge put on my card. Once that happens, you have to dispute it with your card company, then they review, then they keep going back and forth with the company - and you keep sending information after information and it takes forever to get them to admit they are wrong (if they do).     The continual low inventory is a problem for me. The breakfast burrito has been low for over 4 months. If an item will not be available, the customer should be informed on the menu choice for the next shipment. Instead, the choice stays on your menu and they just substitute any item they choose.     I think it is incredibly unfair to consumers that this company is allowed to overwrite and essentially block out valid negative reviews. This practice is shady and underhanded and this website should cease to allow this one-sided manipulative practice. My issue was not resolved with this company. I stand behind the fact that they have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And the critical posts that people have put on this website should be allowed to stay right alongside the positive. Obviously, Nutrisystem has someone monitoring this site and has learned how to hide the ugly side. UNETHICAL!

    Last year, Nutrisystem charged my credit card without authorization and they lied about doing it. When I called my bank, I found out that this company attempted to charge my card without authorization three times but the first two were rejected. When I called to resolve, the customer service rep was rude, ignorant, and hostile. This company will never see my business again. And the food is NASTY! STAY AWAY!!! Protect your credit card from companies like this. Beware consumers!

    The fact is, despite this company's representative's false assertions, I changed/updated my credit card information months ago and definitely before the December order, which I delayed, and, in January, NUTRISYSTEM went into my account, changed my information and charged a card I had taken off the account - my debit card - without my authorization. I reported this company to the BBB and to my bank. And, if I'm not mistaken, you may be the rude, ignorant, and nasty person I spoke with on January 24th. I thought the name was Joan, but I think I heard wrong. I will not deal with this company; I will not ever recommend this company and I do not want any more correspondence from this company.

    After my third call and hours of being on hold. I was finally able to speak with a representative that resolved my issues and I was able to get to a supervisor with a satisfactory report on the last representative that assisted me.

    It just goes to show that it all depends on who you wind up with at the customer service department. The first one really tried, the second one was not one I would want again, and the third one was able to fix everything and make it right.

    I was not happy with the response I received in reference to my second order. On the first call the poor sales girl could not make the changes because it being a Sunday there was no one to help her and that was fine I understood that it was Sunday. She said the program was 259.99 dollars and she would give me 25 dollars off, giving me my basic order to 234.99 dollars, but I was being charged for 308.98 dollars (charged for the shakes I got for free on the first order) but could not get the price of the basic program to take on the computer (was my understanding), she was very polite and did her best to try to help me. She advised me to call back tomorrow (Monday) and speak with someone in customer service and that was fine. I called and spoke with someone today and the reason the price was more on my order was they were going to charge me for an order of shakes they sent free on my last order. I had her take those off.

    Well then this representative said my total would be 244.99, I explained the above to her and she said the price of the basic is 269.99 dollars now and that ad online is wrong and that their program is now 269.99. I understand it is only 10 dollars but it is the principal that I am told one thing and the first sales rep I spoke with was very nice and did her best to resolve the issues. The second rep today was not rude but told me, when I wanted to speak with a supervisor that they were going to tell me the same thing. So I had to insist on speaking with one and then put on hold and she came back to say I would have to call back because there weren't any there. So I will call back a third time later this morning.

    It has been a long drawn out process that didn't need to be. I have lost 25 lbs so far with this program and hate that I am not sure I would recommend this anymore because of customer service issues. I have 60 more lbs to lose and hope that this problem with getting small issues resolved will be worked out. The smallest of details do sometimes make a big difference. I will update this review with the outcome of my experience.

    Just started yesterday. I don't like cooking so prepared meals ideal for me. I don't like nuts and two meals in the Fast 5 program contain nuts - very discouraging when trying to stay motivated! Would be better if I could make selections for Fast 5. Plus I'm a vegetarian and although the loaded baked potato was a lunch option for regular weeks, the label on my delivered order says it contains real bacon bits! It's 2015 and vegetarians are everywhere. Why hasn't this error been noticed and corrected???

    I was on Nutrisystem in 2007 and was satisfied with the diet plan. I lost 10 pounds and most of the food was edible.. not delicious but edible. I decided that I would go back on Nutrisystem after having 2 children. Their current food choices have expanded to frozen foods and their menu is drastically changed. I ordered the fast five in which the foods are already chosen therefore there were some items, specifically those that contained rice that I wouldn't eat. I liked the Energizing shakes, they weren't bad tasting - a little after taste but I did feel energized. I lost 7 pounds on the fast five which probably has something to do with the fact that I didn't eat all of the food in the kit. I also chose and paid extra for the "Uniquely Yours" program which means I also could choose frozen food items. Most of the prepackaged non frozen foods were downright disgusting especially the pasta dishes. The soups are good and the pizzas are alright.

    The first month I lost a total of 10 pounds. For the next delivery I chose mostly frozen foods because those were the items that I enjoyed the most and therefore I would be successful on this program. Incidentally I checked my order prior to it being shipped and saw that 3 of my items were not available and would be substituted so I delayed my shipment hoping that the items would be available soon and I can resume my diet. It's now been a month and a half of constantly delaying my order shipment date, and those items did get restocked but now 9 other items on my order are now out of stock. You get to choose 28 items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert/snacks. 12 out of the 28 items that I ordered for breakfast is out of stock, 10 from lunch, 7 from dinner and 14 from dessert.

    I called customer service and they told me that they don't know when the food items will be in stock and that I should just accept my current shipment. I told him no, I won't accept the shipment because my foods will be substituted with whatever the stock person working that day wants to throw in and I don't want a lot of food that I know that I am NOT going to eat sitting in my pantry. The customer service rep stated that if I accept the shipment then I would at least have "some" of the food that I like and I could call back and ask that the foods that I originally ordered that were substituted be sent. I didn't trust that I would be accommodated if I followed his suggestion. What was the purpose of me paying extra to chose frozen foods if they are not available? How am I supposed to be successful on a program if I can't get the foods that I like to eat? In the interim I've gained 3 pounds back and still my items are out of stock.

    I set up my auto order to process on the 25th. Apparently, at Nutrisystem, this translates into "Lets collect our money on the 24th, then ship food on the 25th". I asked for the 25th for a reason. That's when I deposit to that account. Sooo, I get a call from the automated system on the 25th stating that my payment did not process, and please hold for a customer service agent. So I do. For over 20 minutes, while at work, before finally hanging up. I try to call again later, with the same result. I try to call again the next day, with the same result again.

    I finally call in and select "new customer". Of course, I have a live person on the line instantly. I explain what has happened and say I'm no longer interested in doing business. He convinces me to give them another chance and offers me a $50 credit for the inconvenience. I agree to give these people one more chance but ANYTHING else like this goes wrong and I'll never do business with them again. I'm NOT impressed.

    This is my second time with Nutrisystem, and I'm usually pretty satisfied with the product. I do prefer the frozen food versus the dry food better. I received one quarter of my food order (dry food) on the 12th of September, and still haven't received my frozen goods. The reason I was given "Because they ran low on dry ice". I have been on the phone with customer service 3 times and had to wait on the phone longer than 25 minutes at a time to speak to a rep. I am now out of breakfast, lunches and almost of my dinners.

    The last time I've called I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she won't be able to get the order out to me to the following week. Seriously??? Almost 3 weeks? I was also told to speak to a counselor so she could tell me what I should eat in the meantime for food so I can stick to the diet. What?? Why do I pay $340 a month if you expect me to go out and buy more food. Well... All I got is $25 coupon for my inconvenience. I think I will cancel at the end of the month and take my business somewhere else. It's not worth the aggravation.

    I ordered from Nutrisystem. Within a week, I knew that this was not the program for me. Nutrisystem had a 14 day return policy for those customers not satisfied with the product. I returned the items, paying approximately $17 in postage fees. I waited awhile and never received a refund on the credit card I had used to purchase the food. Finally, after about 3 weeks, I contacted Nutrisystem and was told by them that they couldn't find where the items were returned. I was even told that it was possible that the box was in the warehouse somewhere and hadn't been scanned in. The purchase date was 2-10-15. I have been dealing with this company ever since. I believe they just do not want to issue refunds, so they make it extremely difficult on customers. At this point, I don't believe I will ever see the $279.99 I spent.

    I received an order with one missing item (no big deal) and several melted dessert items (chocolate). This was the second time this has happened. The first time, which was about one year ago when I called customer service I was told maybe I shouldn't order chocolate items when it is hot. They did, however, replace the items and everything was fine. Now a year later, I received an order with a missing item and once again melted dessert items. I tried calling the customer service line twice and waited so long I had to hang up as I was working. I then noticed that there was a chat feature on their website so I logged on to that and waited for about 35 minutes to finally chat with someone. Only to be told that they could not help me and that I would have to call the customer service line or email them. Obviously I chose the email because I couldn't wait AGAIN.

    In the email, I expressed my displeasure at this happening again and asked them to please make sure they shipped the items appropriately so they would not melt. I received an email about 48 hours later telling me they were shipped out and supplying me with a tracking number. After several days went by and I didn't have shipment, I went online to check with the tracking number. It took me to the FedEx website which told me "tracking number not found". Of course, this left me with no other choice but to call customer service again. I did so and waiting another 20 minutes or so finally spoke to someone in customer service who told me my items had been shipped by USPS since it was such a small package and that they had been delivered that day and left in my mailbox. Sure enough, they were in there, completely melted once again. I emailed customer service again and got the following response in about 48 hours:

    "If your chocolates arrive fully melted, they can be quickly hardened into one larger "candy bar" size portion in the refrigerator or at an ambient temperature inside your home." This along with an apology and offering to either send me a $25.00 coupon towards my next order or replace the items again with the following statement: "However, under second scenario, we cannot commit whether the chocolate items will be transited without affecting its quality during the shipping." Seriously? Not happy!

    I thought I would try the Nutrisystem diet to see if it held up to its promise. I bought the 5 day kit at Wal-Mart to see if I liked it. My daughter thought she would try it with me. The food I started out with (which is the 5 day kit) was so horrible tasting I could barely choke it down but I followed it to a tee. I even had my husband taste some of it and he agreed it was awful. I had horrific headaches every night, and to top it off I never lost one pound in the five days I used it.     The complaint that sent me here is the fact that my non-frozen shipment was sent last week. I have not received my frozen shipment. When I have called, I am told, as of this time, the order is being processed. They do not know when it will be shipped. I am out of dinners. So my diet has been drastically interrupted. I am told they are having problems with the dry ice. I chose the option of selecting all of my "28" meals. However, the first shipment one is only allowed to choose 21. The shipment includes one week for "jump starting the diet." I did not lose a pound. However, I did throw away food that I could not tolerate.     I decided to try the Nutrisystem diet program. Most people have seen the ads on tv, as I had, and it promises delicious food and all you have to do is eat the food and lose the weight. I thought that I would give it a try. I have done diets before on my own and I knew if you change your way of eating, that first week that you will lose weight. I did try the first week on Nutrisystem. I found the food to be simply awful. There were some evening meals that I tried and could not even eat.     I decided to give Nutrisystem a try. I told the representative I was a Vegetarian and the guy couldn't find a suitable program for me so I asked to speak with a manager. They advertise Vegetarian choices but after 3 hours of stressing me out they came up with a plan that they told me would be acceptable and to give it a try. A week later the food arrives and there were meats dishes that were mixed into the order. I called they had to send non meat dishes to compensate for the meat ones. They told me to give them away so I did. Then a week later I call to tell them I was not happy and they sent me a month's supply of Pizza, Stuffed Shells and I was getting stomachaches from this and it was not pleasant to eat that for dinner every night. They had a veggie lasagna that was discontinued the 1st week.

    I called to cancel with all the mistakes and lack of variety to get the run around to now send the food back after they told me to give it away. They won't answer my emails or help me when I call and I told them I want a refund for all this aggravation. We went back and forth on the phone for almost a month and the last call was to tell me "we tried to help you and you cannot get a refund." I was in disbelief that they did not care how my experience was and their lack of food which they hyped me up to believe was going to work out just for a sale!!!!

    I attempted to go online last night to edit my next shipment of food. I tried to login several times and could not access my pending shipment. I went through the forgot password steps and the only shipments I had on my account were from 2009. At 7:41, I gave up trying to figure it out and called the customer service phone number listed on my last packing list. After sitting in the queue for a few minutes, it gave me the option to enter my phone number for someone to call me back when it was my turn. I received a return call at 11:33PM.     This is my second time on Nutrisystem. The first time I was younger (in my 30's), just had kids. I lost 40 lbs in 2.5 months and kept it off for 5 years. As I got older (early 50's) the weight started creeping up. I've been on the program this time 3 months yesterday and have lost 30 lbs, over 30 inches and down two pant sizes. I didn't do the fast 5 because I knew that wasn't for me so I chose the option of 3 weeks free instead. Reading the comments I have to agree the food is not the best but I've found about 8-10 items per meal group that I like and just order a lot of those.

    There was also complaints about low inventory. I just go in and reduce that option and add more to another item I like. It's not rocket science. Also saw complaints about still having to buy grocery items. I just get what I need for the week as far a veggies or fruit goes and my string cheese lasts for two weeks so grocery shopping isn't really expensive either. Customer service has always been helpful when I call. I do think they set the deliveries too close together because I always end up with extra food but I just set the delivery back a week or two and it's perfect. I want to upgrade to the frozen stuff for an extra $50/per month but they have a sampler I can check out first. So far, so good.

    I have been on this program for a year. Let me first say I am extremely picky with the food I consume. The food provided is not gourmet but is acceptable for everyday eating. Is it mouthwatering and fabulous as advertised? Absolutely not. But once again, what do you expect from a diet program that ships you a month worth of dried and frozen foods? The cost is comparable to other diet programs. When one compares say, Seattle Sutton Healthy eating at over $600 a month, $359 monthly seems fair. However, when on Nutrisystem, customers must still purchase fresh foods, so the costs most likely even out.

    My biggest complaint is in their policy on canceling items and placing items on low inventory lists. There have been multiple items that have suffered from one of these issues since I've been on the program and it gets extremely frustrating. When I contact the company, the response is a canned message basically stating they practice these policies to keep their menu fresh and basically say all their food is delicious anyway so why would anyone complain? You watch. That will be their response to my criticism as well.

    They will respond here with something such as "We're sorry you have had a bad experience with one aspect of our program, but keep in mind we cancel certain items based on customer reviews in an effort to maintain a satisfying selection of delicious new foods". Something along these lines. Basically, you might as well keep your mouth shut, and when you've had enough, take the knowledge you've learned from the program and continue your weight loss journey on your own.

    Let me first of all say that I love the Nutrisystem program and I have been a customer since 2011. I have been dealing with an identity theft issue for over a year. Every time I got a new card, my card would have some fraud activity. I had no credit cards or debit cards to purchase this program for a few months so I was canceled from the program. Customer service would not help me. I was told to rejoin after all was resolved. Now the price is high and I can't afford the program.

    I have tried Nutrisystem with both good and questionable results. The first time I lost 55 lbs. That was about 6 years ago and it took over 3 months. Their menu was much more diverse then and it wasn't intolerable. The last time I may have lost 5 lbs., but that was due to the food being almost inedible. Their only decent food was on the frozen menu, which is far more expensive than the standard menus.

    I only decided to revisit the program because my wife is desperate to lose weight and I know she will do better if she has a partner, even if I only have half a heart to do it. They have reduced their menu selections drastically over the last years, and leave only a bare minimum of items that used to be offered. They tout flavorful foods and deliver overpowering tomato sauce on anything that SHOULD be a brown gravy. They do not make marinara sauce or gravy. They only make a horrid semi-sweet, pasty tomato sauce (tastes like it's made from tomato paste and a little salt, along with some artificial sweetener).

    Most of their "soups," mac and cheese or "rice and bean" selections are dry ingredient cups that you must microwave or add boiling water. They are just as flavorful as they sound. The "Beefy Macaroni and Cheese" comes this way and looks and tastes as if it's survived a few trips to the international space station (because they refused to eat it). The "beef" is dehydrated proteins of some sort that ubiquitously sit in a semi-liquid paste coating the macaroni.

    If you look on their menu you'll see muffins, snack bars, bagels, a donut, and several other decent-looking items. They SHOULD show them next to an object for size comparison. Those granola bars...yeah, they're the size of a Twix. Those cookies are about 1/2 the size of any other cookie...or smaller. The bagel and donut are laughable. Incidentally, the "Fast Five" week, aside from the veggie servings you're supposed to eat, are exclusively those little nutrition bars and a couple shakes. Enjoy. I opted out of that for the simple reason that those bars are horrible to begin with and I prefer to eat something akin to real food. My wife is starving, but trying to manage on them.

    In addition to the reduced selection of foods, they now offer you the "My Way" and the "Weekends Are Free" plans. That doesn't mean you get anything for free, or you can eat "Your Way" one day a week. It means they aren't sending you any food (other than their breakfast) for the days you're "free." You have to make your own. They DO send you a recipe or twelve that you can make, such as a spaghetti squash with a little bit of "tomato sauce" on it. Seriously? Not even a marinara on your day off? These people just LOVE them some tomato sauce! You can only have 1/2 cup (6 bites if they're really small) of squash anyway, so what's the point of putting anything on it? You can have 4 cups of RAW veggies a day on the regular diet...that's a couple salads. But you've just consumed your entire veggie intake. If you want veggies cooked (steamed with nothing on them), cut that amount in half (1/2 cup per serving).

    I can't honestly give them a truly "Dissatisfied" rating, since my wife is still struggling with her diet and doing what she hopes will make a difference. It also allows Nutrisystem to reply with their standard "We are SO sorry...blah, blah, blah" and redact your negative comments. So I'll give them a "passing" grade for now. I, on the other hand, have developed my own menu replacements and will still manage to lose a few pounds. (Their breakfasts are abhorrent, so I eat egg whites and a turkey sausage, about the same calorie count and sodium level as theirs, but much cheaper and better tasting.) I opt out of 1 tbsp. of non-fat dressing in pursuit of flavor on my salads (which I've never been a fan of anyway). But I will stick it out as long as possible.

    Incidentally, the statements about trying to cancel and not pay a HUGE fee because they stuck that language into the offer are ALL TRUE (make sure you look at all the asterisk copy and footnotes, or you're screwed)!     I am unhappy with the food overall. I believe in comparison lean cuisine is much better. The food is all dry food, like you would take on a camping trip and the portions are tiny, and do not taste well. I know I would lose weight on the diet because the food is terrible. The price I paid ($279) is very overpriced for the quality of food. I do not mind paying a lot for good food. The service on the other hand was very good. I called to report that my food was never delivered, even though FedEx said that it had been. They sent me another shipment and it arrived in 2 days. The people I spoke to on the phone were very helpful.

    First I would like to say the food for the most part tastes terrible, the shakes are not palatable. I initially customized an order for Nutrisystem. The cost that came up was not the advertised price, so I used the online chat to resolve my problem. The order inadvertently was sent as a general order. The website stated they would FedEx your first order. It took six days to get my order. I was highly disappointed because I got the general order and it took much longer than I thought. In addition there was a price discrepancy. I called customer service, the representative stated I could return the order OR keep the order and get the next order free and I could customize it. I again went on the website and customized my order. For some reason, they sent out a general order. When I called customer service back, they stated they never give a free order for a mistake. These phone conversations are taped and I have no reason to lie.

    I am returning my order and would just like to say, the pricing is off and they misrepresent the prices. They charged me more for the items on the first order than was advertised. As far as the second order, they didn't even give me a cost breakdown. I would have like to try the customized order because I believe the program would have worked, but their ordering system and pricing are totally broken. I am computer literate, but I had to ask customer service chat twice with my initial order. I have the emails as proof to the conversations as to customizing my order. Unless you don't care what food they send, buyer beware of cost/ordering issues.

    The food is ok. The problem is their shipping notification. They send an email saying your order has shipped and it can be up to 10 days before it arrives. This means you don't have a life for 10 days trying to figure out when your dry food will arrive and your cold food will arrive. I asked for an email telling me a tracking number for my cold food and they said, they can only send one email and I have to call them to find out my cold food shipping. A man I know gets 2 separate emails telling him when his dry food ships and when cold food ships, but apparently, they cannot do this for women... their notification system is BROKEN.

    Food - for the most part the food is terrible. Cost is high for what you are given even with their supposed discounts. You must get at least two 28 day plans delivered before you cancel their auto delivery without a huge penalty. A point that is hidden very well until you want to cancel. Then they charge you 20 percent (get this off the retail price of the food.) A second delivery would have been 279.00 it was 84.99 to cancel. But the way they advertise it you think you can cancel anytime no penalty. I lost the same amount of weight cutting out starches and breads.

    I purchased 1 month of product on 6/7/2015 and did not like the food after 1 week of trying the food. I called the sales department twice on Sunday 6/28/2015 to cancel my auto delivery. I explained that I have about 3 weeks of food left because I did not like the food.     I did lose weight with Nutrisystem but after several months I was tired of the pantry dinners. Not even so much tired as I simply didn't care for them. I talked to customer service and asked if I could buy 21 frozen dinners a la carte (for which I would have gladly paid shipping) and was told frozen foods are not offered a la carte. Frankly that's a dumb policy. If someone is willing to pay the exorbitant costs for your frozen meals along with the associated shipping, I would think you would jump at that.     I was on the diet for 2 months, but after that time wanted to discontinue the program. (This is my 2nd year using your program and have used your program with a friend). I had repeatedly asked for help getting online to my page online with great difficulty. Also, alert about checking or signing up for next order before it ships never made it to my email. I checked my spam. I believe my account was just messed up for some reason? You just never got it right! Then, when I got the email from FedEx for my 3rd delivery, I was alarmed. I wasn't ready for it...no previous emails, again. So I called FedEx to refuse delivery. No problem. But I had to take the frozen stuff. There were only 19 items in there.

    My refund is my next issue. I barely got more than half my money back. They claim that the frozen items are 'costly'. WOW. RIP ME OFF will you! They aren't even very tasty. I am actually quite disappointed in them. Thought I would try them this time and they aren't winners!!! And my ice cream sandwiches were flat, like the ice cream was melted before they threw them in the box. I only got a few, so it was't worth my time to complain at the time, but now the complaints have snow balled.     My first order got mixed up somehow and I ended up with the "favorites" menu. That seemed to be the leftovers and unwanted products that needed to be gotten rid of. I choked down 28 days of an excessive amount of Mexican style food, horrible pancakes and pasty oatmeal. Relieved to get my second order with my choice of food, there was still a free week's worth of the spicy Mexican meals and mushy oatmeal... that is very unpleasant food to me. Some of my food in the first order was open and crushed. It was kindly replaced by the representatives. However despite all of this, I have lost 14 lbs (I only lost 3 on the Fast 5 program) so I guess I can call this story a successful one.

    You will lose your weight for sure because the food, it is horrible and the pictures are not true. The only thing decent are the breakfast and desserts. You should share true pictures of food.

    This is the 2nd time I've gone on "N". The first was 9 yrs ago. The food for one has improved dramatically so it was much easier this time around. I like to keep my weight at around 120-125. After that, well you know what happens. Went back on "N" over a month ago on the Fast Five. Lost the 5lbs and inches easily, but you have to STICK it or it just doesn't work. Makes sense. I started at 131. I'm small boned and the weight was sitting on my stomach, it now is where it should be and I've lost 3 inches and lost 11 lbs, but it's imperative you follow the instructions to the "T".

    It has again worked for me and the food was very good, but I must admit at some point and time, I grew weary of the all Italian rigatoni, but kept on going anyway. I love the chicken and beans. It was a nice change... So girls if you only have a few pounds as I did to lose but couldn't do it myself, wrong foods at the wrong times kind of eating, go for it. It changed your eating habits and that's what you need to do and then the once in a while off the cuff dinner doesn't hurt. I'm happy. I feel good and 11 lbs lighter along with the loss of the fat I had around my waist. Thank you Nutrisystem and the staff I dealt with was extremely efficient and patient. Oh, I am using what I have left over as my "control" food. I'm using every last morsel.

    The weight loss program is great. I had no complaints whatsoever. I wanted to give Nutrisystem a try for the convenience of not having to costly cook and pick the foods that I ate. I lost 7 pounds in the first month, mixing the meals from the boxes with eating healthy. Great program with advisors that help you get motivated if you need the extra push. When I decide to cancel my subscription, the customer service advisor tried to convince me to stay with the program, and etc. It is normal and I understand this technique. However, what I found unacceptable other than getting charged 70 something dollars to cancel for the discounts. Was that the customer service advisor seemed frustrated and hung up on me before I could tell her that I wanted to be charged those 70 something dollars in another card. All she told me was "Your card will be charged the 70.00 something dollars" and did not let me ask any additional questions.

    Started program beginning of March 2015 and lost 6 lbs first week... continued to lose at about 2 lbs per week. Program was easy to follow - loved having prepackaged so could get used to portion sizes. Lost 30 lbs on the program and stopped due to finances. But due to their great training and strategies, I was able to lose another 10 lbs and still going. So thankful and they also taught my stubborn husband portion sizes. He joined as well and has lost about 55-60 lbs. Highly recommend this program.

    I ordered the diabetic pre-selected order to start. I found the food was not only counter nutritional for a diabetic but also foul tasting. The selections are actually just fattening, carb loaded meals but in tiny packages to keep the overall calorie count down. You will lose weight but not any more than if you were to go to a fast food restaurant and order a very small meal portion. I was offered a discount on the first order to set up an automatic second order at $439 per month. Based upon the erroneous information on the Nutrisystem website regarding a healthy offering of balanced meals, I thought this would be fine. But the food is not nutritionally balanced (unless you call 5 desserts, pasta and carb snacks a day a balanced meal) and all preparations have the same chemical aftertaste.

    The company would not allow me to return any food and charged me close to $100 to cancel. There are many other systems to choose from that do not have this faux 1st month discount in order to keep you from cancelling and I would suggest the consumer explore these other options before embarking on the Nutrisystem plan.

    I've been on Nutrisystem in a couple of spurts for the better part of a year, starting when I was home-bound with a knee problem. The food is shelf stable and was easy for me to cook with just a microwave. Really, what Nutrisystem is about is portion control--and you see how little food you really need to live. All in all, I lost about 40 pounds, mostly in the first few months. If followed closely, it is effective through portion control. Overall the food quality is decent but not great. The macaroni and cheese is difficult to get creamy, but the majority of the items are OK. Think cup-o-soup quality for dried items and slightly lower than Lean Cuisine for wet items like lasagne. After a few months, the selections get old, but I was able to apply the same eating patterns and portion control to keep my weight off over a year.

    I saw numerous positive reports on Nutrisystem and wanted to see how it worked. I found it was easy to follow and effective. On the Fast 5+ week I lost about 7 pounds, and over the next 2 months I lost a total of about 12 pounds. I never felt hungry or tired. The first month I allowed Nutrisystem to pick the food for me. Once I had a better idea what I would like. I picked my own food for the second month. The only criticism I had was some of the food I requested was in limited supply or was unavailable so something that I didn't care for as much was substituted. The quality and flavor of the food varied, but since this is subjective, some might like items I didn't. I'm retired, so I'm near a freezer and could use more frozen food. Those that aren't near a freezer could use the canned and ready to eat meals.

    If no cooking facilities were available, you could eat the food directly from the package. I also found that the dehydrated food was easier to prepare by pouring boiling water from an electric tea kettle into the container rather than adding water and microwaving it. I would recommend Nutrisystem to anyone who wants to diet with the least amount of hassle. I would not recommend this to someone who is very picky about their food or how it is prepared. I think the cost is reasonable when compared to the the cost of buying all of the ingredients and preparing the food yourself, especially when you consider the shopping and preparation time you would need and that Nutrisystem is delivered directly to your door.

    I was able to reach my 22 lb weight loss by learning portion control. I really didn't realize I didn't need to eat as big a portion as I had been eating. Learning to eat small meat type portions, not eating the starchy foods, and eating larger veggie portions helped me reach my goal. Paying for the program also made me think twice before I overindulged. I learned to control my calorie intake soooooo much. I now watch everything I eat AND how much I eat. I have saved the trays my meals came in to help to continue to control my portion control. It sounds so simple, but you have to learn portion control and then apply it. We had a family emergency come up but the staff at NS just adjusted our delivery dates and location so we could stay on the program.     I am almost 64 years old and over the course of my life was always on the chunky side and at one point at 5'2 I weighed 190. Through a series of tragic life occurrences I lost a lot of that weight but over the few years following resolutions of those issues, it started creeping back on.
