    I just paid for my second order within the past two months. I received an e-mail today that implies that this is my first order, when it's not. It's the second order, and I see that I'm getting all these unnecessary booklets again with this order. Waste of paper and money. Anyway, make this second order that hasn't arrived yet my final. I cannot believe this company doesn't have customer service agents who answer e-mails in a timely manner or when/if they finally do, they answer way after the fact with content that doesn't even correspond with the e-mails I send! Then when I try to respond to the e-mail from this bogus counselor support, I get an immediate notification that this isn't really a communication mode.

    Try to cancel my AutoShip for over an hour. The first time I asked for a call back and when the person called back they said they couldn't help me somebody else had to do it. They told me that person would be on the line shortly to help cancel my order. They never came on. I waited another 12 minutes. Cancel the damn thing now. I'm contacting Better Business. This is unconscionable. I intended to order a la carte but this terrible service has made me decide I want nothing more to do with you. Cancel the ** order. I shouldn't have to spend hours on the phone to no avail. You people suck the high heavens. This is no way to treat a customer. I will be posting to social media. I expect a call back that you have canceled this ** order without me having to spend more time on the phone. Thank you. I will be calling Better Business Bureau.

    I made my 1st order by phone and was not told that I would be on auto order. When I tried to place my 2nd order by phone I was told that I was on auto order. When I heard the price of the 2nd order, I cancelled it to learn that I would be charged $99. I did not access your website so did not see any mention of auto order and I was not told of this when I placed my 1st phone order so I do not think I should be charged $99. You have no record of me signing up for this.

    Beware the sugar alcohols. I forgot what they can do to your digestive system. They cause extreme diarrhea and gas. Can be embarrassing, depending on where you are. Ex., Costco, in line at the pharmacy. Lol I had Nutrisystem send me a list of their foods that have it. Anything white or dark chocolate is used. Even their meatloaf dinner.

    I had been struggling to lose weight but could not stick with plans to eat healthier. I had used Nutrisystem in the past and was successful, so I decided I would try it again. I started Nutrisystem on Nov. 16, 2016, I know, right before Thanksgiving and Christmas; but I was ready and I needed to do it. My goal was to lose 26 pounds. By the end of January I had reached my goal and was very happy with the results. The food was good and it kept me satisfied. Now just trying to maintain and keep the weight off.

    On the buy one get one free email, price changed from 40.77 on 4 items to 50.97 after I did PayPal. The shipping changed from free to 11.99 after I did PayPal. Asked several times...chat, email etc...was told it was shipping. It was the items and shipping!! Both prices changed once I did PayPal and it logged me into the site! So I won't order anything more!

    So I decided to leap into Nutrisystem. I saw it on TV and with the busy lifestyle I have it looked perfect. I also came across the weekends on your own plan. So I called so I can set something up like that. The consultant was very nice. I told her a budget range I was looking to be and she went to work. She did all a la carte items. She got it right to where I wanted and I was super excited. Come Monday I never received an email confirmation and I thought that was odd. So I called and it took awhile to find my order but the lady did. Once I was able to see my order I found another thing wrong. When the lady did my first order she picked everything for me. There were meals she ordered for me I would not of ordered for myself and I became frustrated because the lady said at this point nothing can be done because it was already processed. She said I would have to call back once I received my food.

    I was a little bummed because I really wanted to start and start losing weight. So I called again today and told the lady my situation. I written down what I actually wanted to order if I actually had the choice to order. The lady put it through for me and told me it be arriving in 4-10 days which my last order came rather quick so I'm hoping this one does too. The best part of this was I didn't have to send the food I didn't want back and she didn't charge me either. In the beginning it seemed like I would go from high to a low to a high to a low again. I am eager to start and hopefully see the results I want.

    Yesterday I completed day 2 of the Homestyle 5 day box. Not only was I physically sick after eating the BBQ Seasoned Chicken but I spent most of the night in the bathroom with a dreadful stomach upset. Yes I lost 1 lb but a very unpleasant way to do it. It is too late after you have purchased the box that you realize there is far too much roughage, etc. for stomachs that are not used to all that type of diet.

    I subscribed to Nutrisystem hoping to get started before holidays. It took a week to ship it. Many meals were just granola bars which don't qualify as a "meal". When I tried to cancel, they said they'd charge me $99 unless I returned the box of unused meals for a refund. So I sent the box back and tracked it to make sure it arrived. They said 7-14 business days for the refund. After 16 business days I called again. They had just started working on it and said it would take another 3-5 days. They seem very disorganized, difficult to work with, slow to respond to customers, and half the "meals" are just little snack bars. Very disappointed with this company after all the money they spend on advertising. They should save some of the money and provide food and better service.

    I called the Customer Service number and after trying to explain to the CSR for 20 minutes what I was seeing regarding a pricing difference in a program between what was displayed on the web and what it was trying to charge me when I tried to purchase it. The CSR "attempted" to forward me to someone who should be able to assist me but I was forwarded to a dead extension. So, I emailed the Customer Support people. I got a called message (twice) saying my request was being forwarded to someone who could assist me. The last time I heard from anyone was over 20 days ago. I guess they aren't interested in any new customers.

    I'm writing this review because I'm so pleased with Nutrisystem. I've had a steady weight loss for 5 months, which included all the heavy-eating, November-December holidays! Weight loss can be much more difficult at my age (let's just say I'm retired!). First off, the people who work the phones are compassionate, helpful and knowledgeable. Most have been on the program or at least tried the food. And they are always very kind. The steady weight loss I've had so far has been easy to obtain. I'm really never hungry. And best of all, I've lost my cravings for sweets, breads and other foods of that nature. But I still can eat the yummy desserts and snacks they make! I just don't crave that food anymore. Amazing!

    I feel better physically, have more energy and am more mentally focused, the way one feels when eating well. And I find the cost to be very reasonable. When broken down, it's not much per day. And considering I didn't have to cook it, it's a great deal. The food is very tasty- some things I like better than others, but the variety is great. I wish I'd done this sooner! Plus, I love Marie Osmond!

    I just started Nutrisystem diet two weeks ago. I got my self stable order very fast. A week later they sent out my frozen order. FedEx emailed me as soon as they delivered it to my front porch but when I looked nothing was there. I called FedEx and filed a claim but it has been five days and still no package. I emailed Nutrisystem customer service because I was not going to have enough food to last me until my auto shipment at the end of the month. I was just trying to figure out what I should do. I didn't expect the next part but they emailed me saying they were re-sending my frozen shipment again at no charge! I was very surprised at this. To accept responsibility for something that was out of their control is amazing. This is a great company and they really want their customers to succeed! I will be telling all my friends and family about my experience.

    I recently signed up for Nutrisystem and placed my order. Everything arrived promptly & in fairly good condition. Unfortunately my husband very suddenly and unexpectedly passed away and I decided I just can't focus on weight loss right now so I called to close my account. After explaining why I wanted to close the account the representative put me on hold for a moment. When she returned she informed me there is a $99.00 charge for closing the account! Told her that's just what I need while paying funeral expenses! Don't remember seeing anything about that when I ordered. Nevertheless, buyer beware! Should you have to opt out quickly you will pay for it!!

    Pulled-pork and chicken bbq does not look good like to photographs and it has a very strong hickory smoky taste (too much smoky seasoning). I have noticed that there is a lot of soy in everything and soy is very bad for thyroid. Which is why some people have a harder time losing the weight.     After trying Nutrisystem for a month I decided to cancel because most of the foods are ghastly and so full of preservatives. I did not realize I signed up for autoship and they said there is an automatic fee of $99 if you don't receive your second shipment. They claim they disclosed this but it must have been in very tiny print if they did at all. This is clearly intended to be hidden from the consumer. Shame on you Nutrisystem for your poor treatment of customers who have clearly paid for their food and don't want anymore!

    When I purchased the first month I was unaware that it was an ongoing plan and definitely was not made aware that there would be a $98 penalty for canceling. Was only informed that to cancel I had to call 877-338-****. I called and was informed to read the fine print and would be charged $98 if I canceled. I read the fine print and found out that the diet is not suitable for persons suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease. I have CKD. I had asked my doctor and he had not read the fine print either and told me it was OK to go on the diet. Now I'm stuck between paying $98 for nothing or paying $350 for something that will harm me.

    The food wasn't bad, and the selection was decent. Problem was the issue of bloating the food caused. I gained a half a pound in the first two weeks. After reading reviews from others, this is nothing new. I would guess it is some additive that I can't tolerate or am allergic to. My issue was when I had to cancel the diet plan. The woman on the phone refused to simply cancel and be done. I can't even recall how many times I had to repeat "No" before it sunk in that I simply was done. I understand the sales aspect of it, but that was way beyond acceptable. The woman became extremely rude and argumentative. I have never actually had to raise my voice in a situation like this but there was simply no other way.

    I'm sure they are wonderful when you want to pay them more, but not to cancel. I would love to have the company respond, their tactics do not work, and left me angry that I ever tried their diet. Don't waste the money on them. Everyone will eventually end their diet, that's just life. Beware of what is coming. The woman clearly was well practiced at her spiel. I imagine many others that day were forced to deal with that also.

    I am currently between jobs right now, so I suspended my auto ship until February 28th (so I thought). On day when I happened to check my e-mail, I noticed a e-mail from Nutrisystem stating that $283.45 will be taken out of my account for a shipment that will be arriving soon. I called immediately. The girl stated that I was down for February 1st and that they cannot refund me my money. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and she stated that she would just tell me the same thing. I asked again. She put me on hold and came back and said that she spoke with a supervisor and are going to review my recorded phone call and see what date was said and would call me back within 24-48 hours. Still never got to speak with a supervisor!

    Just received a phone call from Nutrisystem stating that they listened to the call and that I stated February 1st but cannot let me listen to the recording. I don't think that they should suck people into this auto ship delivery. My biggest complaint is that I was not able to speak to a supervisor and that I was not able to listen to their recording.

    I love Nutrisystem and what it has done for me and my family. However, due to my work, I was told that I would have to leave to China for a year on short notice. When I called to try to cancel my order, I was told that I couldn't, that I should have read the fine print! This is unacceptable!     I have contacted Nutrisystem about 4 times in reference to a big mistake made by Nutrisystem. I specifically called and ordered the Lean 13 program. Just because one person checked the wrong box, they are basically calling me a liar and saying the person that took my order was entirely correct. The ONLY reason I started with Nutrisystem was to get the Lean 13 program. I probably have seen it advertised about one hundred times on TV and that was what I kept requesting with the service rep.

    My Nutrisystem experience started with false advertising. The site advertised "Free bars and shakes with any 4-week plan, first order only." When I contacted Customer Service about the bars and shakes that were missing from my order, I was told the offer applied only to 28-day plans, not 20-day plans. My plan is a 4-week plan but only five days a week. I went back and forth with a customer service rep with no satisfaction. I now believe their intent was to only offer the free items with 28-day plans but that is CLEARLY not how it was advertised! I sent the customer service rep pictures of how it was advertised (ANY 4-week plan) and copies of my invoice, describing my plan as a 4-week plan.     I thought I would try NutriSystem and began my journey with Uniquely Yours. I could not eat these meals and found them to be disgusting. I proceed to cancel my order only to be charged a $99 cancel fee. Ridiculous! Had the food been somewhat tasty, I wouldn't have cancelled. I'm tired of everyone having a "hook". I feel that I should not be bound by any "contractual obligations" as Nutrisystem is not - I was told that the food was delicious and yet, finding it bordering on repulsive, the only thing I can do is cancel which still benefited Nutrisystem.

    It was explained by the customer service that I received my first order at a discounted rate - something along the lines of $350. Had I paid the "full price", upwards of $500, I would not have to pay the cancel fee. I now have an abundance of meals I will not and can not eat, and I am now paying another $99! Nutrisystem should be more responsible as even at $350, the meals are not even close to what is advertised. I am disgusted with nutrisystem and I really believe that a policy change is in order. So not good Nutrisystem.

    This is my first month on Nutrisystem and I am already annoyed, disappointed and would never recommend to a friend. For those of you considering this weight-loss program (specifically Uniquely Yours), please keep this mind - You will pay over $300 for a 4-week program and receive: 18 dinners, 18 lunches, 21 breakfast, 21 snacks. That is not a 4-week program. What they don't tell you (until after you pay) is that they send you a week's worth of food to help boost your weight loss.

    Food THEY pick out for you, even though I paid extra money for the Uniquely Yours package which lets me choose my own food. I paid for food that I do not like, will never eat and now is sitting in my pantry. When I asked why that information wasn't listed on their website, I was told it was in the 'terms and conditions' portion of check-out. That portion comes AFTER you pay. And who really reads that long and lengthy section? No one, we click the box to accept. I paid over $300 for 18 days of food I'll eat in my first "month."

    So please keep in mind that your first month will only come with the 18 meals listed above and you will receive more food, but only food they pick out for you. On top of that, every meal plan is a flex-meal plan. Again, nothing you will find on their website. This means that a 4-week/28 day plan (which they advertise) is only 24 lunches and dinners. You can not change that unless you pay extra for a la carte items.

    On a positive note, ordering is easy and the food is better than expected. Some items I would never order again and others were surprisingly good. I really want this to work but I feel like a sucker, and I really hate their inability to be transparent on their website considering how much money I am spending each month. Actually every 24 days. They seem very shady and that causes great concern.

    I placed my first order online tonight. I went through all the steps to choose my food selections for each meal and fought with the website freezing and my browser having to recover the webpage. However after I placed my order for what I thought was the Unique Custom Order, my order history was emailed to me and showed I had selected the Core Women's Favorite Pick. I NEVER selected this option and do no want it. I want to pick my own foods, not eat someone else's favorites.

    I don't know what happened during this order but it needs fixed. I used the Chat option for Customer Service but did not get any satisfaction. She said she put a cancel order request in but couldn't make any promises and that I would need to call and cancel my automatic shipping. I went online and fixed my next order to what I thought I had ordered the first time but now the price is more. What a racket. Why do I bother to order what I want, if you are just going to change it and charge me more? Very doubtful that I will continue this service if I can't get this fixed. I will try calling Customer Service tomorrow. Hoping they are more responsive.

    I signed up for a 4-week Meal Plan package with Nutrisystem. The Meal Plan requires 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. That comes out to 56 snacks over a 28-day period but the package only includes 28 snacks. You are required to make or purchase the other 28 snacks (a $67 addition). And the Meal Plan also gives you four "flex days" where they short you 8 meals. They justify this by saying they want you to practice making your own lunch and dinner "so you know how" to do this once you stop the program. Seriously? I already know how to cook. I purchased a 4-week meal plan, not cooking lessons. These absent meals are valued at approximately $33. Added to the $67 of missing snacks, it costs an additional $100 if you want a "true" 4-week meal plan. When I called to inquire, it's basically... so sad, too bad. I resent being mislead. Very much.

    I wish you and your online counselors were in sync with each other. When I received the first email telling me how much email volume you were experiencing I contacted a counselor in online chat. His advice was no vegetables and stick with 1000 calories, never stating that there was an order I needed to be following while yours is 850 plus 4 cups raw or 2 cups cooked vegetables. Now who should I believe since week 1 was supposed to be my boot camp?

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I wished they found some way of having a completely contained system. You still had to buy your own vegetables, for instance, and sometimes as a result, when I was lazy or for some other reason didn't buy some of my own food. I would become hungry later and fall off the diet.

    My HORRIBLE experience involved innocently placing an order to try the product and all of a sudden was locked into an autoship program. I am a senior citizen and this was PURE ABUSE to be yelled at by a man over the phone and BULLIED that I just needed to try the first month and if I try to cancel they will charge me another $100 to my credit card. I ACTUALLY STARTED HAVING CHEST PAINS AND HAD TO HANG UP THE PHONE. I genuinely thought I was having a heart attack. This was elder abuse of a senior citizen. That man should be fired.

    I have been on the plan for 2 weeks now. I really like the taste of the food and I am losing weight, but the sugar substitute in many of the items is creating terrible stomach issues.     I did not get all the items I paid for. For example I was supposed to have gotten 10 frozen dinners and 14 non-frozen ones. I only got the 10 frozen ones. I have notified Nutrisystem several times via phone, email, and chat. You have refused to provide me with all the items I paid for. This lack of dinner items has forced me to create my own dinner concoctions after the first 10 days. This is a very expensive program and I am not happy having been shorted items. I am obligated to pay for a second order which has not yet arrived. If it doesn't contain all the items it should I will be very upset. Now, having said all that, the program does seem to be working as I am on day 16 now and have lost 7.5 pounds and my blood sugar readings have gone down. I can only imagine that my results might have been even better had I been able to eat the dinner meals too.

    Buyer beware. First of all, when I received the food I was surprised when it looks exactly like Chef Boyardee and powdered mac and cheese. It's gross processed food. Then, when I tried to cancel 2nd month (was willing to finish first month), I was told of $99 fee. Didn't see that fine print. Luckily I was 13 days into the 14 day trial period. So now I have to package everything up and ship back, minus $20 shipping fee (which also is clear as mud in terms and conditions) for refund. Why wouldn't they want to keep my $250, have me keep the food, and just not force me to do a second month or pay $100? Now they lose $250 instead of just $100.

    Also, getting through on the phone is a challenge. Long hold times. And when I was frustrated and confused by the hidden terms and conditions, the rep on the phone got very annoyed. Anyway, it's done. I did lose 3-1/2 lbs in first week. But I doubt the claims of losing 13 in a month (with average supposedly being 11 lbs said fine print).

    My experience with Nutrisystem was horrible. My order was done to the wrong address 2 times. I called those people and continue email confirmation to the wrong address. I selected online my food and I got a "customized food" order confirmation with things that I hate to eat. Very motivating to my diet. Then, when you cancel this junk weight loss program you pay a cancellation fee of $99. Why is that? Because people see the junk food a bunch of bar and Cheerios for more than $300. And of course you have to order 2 months or decide to pay $99 cancellation fee. Go away of those thieves.

    I placed a combined frozen and ready-to-go order with Nutrisystems on January 6, 2016. My order was shipped and received just a couple of days later - no problem. But I still haven't seen my frozen order, as of today (1/17). An email to their Customer Service dept gets me a form letter response suggesting that a rain storm in the Sparks, Nevada area has slowed things down. But no word on when they'll ship the order. The previous frozen order I placed with them arrived as a thawed-out mushy mess - had to throw it all out. Here we go again?

    I don't understand why someone at Nutrisystems can't simply look up my order and provide a status of where it is and/or when I can expect to receive it. Calling their Customer Service number results on a very long hold time with no connection made, finally gave up. Even their Chat function estimates a 20+ minute length of time before someone comes on the line and then they tell me I have to phone Customer Service! I fear that what I'm going to get is yet another thawed-out mess. They've already charged my credit card for the full amount of the order; guess I'll have to contact Customer Service for a refund... Oh, wait!

The first call person told me that I have more meals (not frozen) coming with my planner information. The second call person said that I am only missing Planner information that all my food was sent frozen. I am not sure that I have received all or will receive all. Very disappointed and confused client.

    I was loving the Uniquely Yours plan until my last package came with moldy food. I called to cancel and was put on hold so I pushed the button to get a callback, and when they called back I got hung up on. I have called several times since and been put on hold and transferred around, never getting anything accomplished. I also tried the chat option and was told that in order to cancel that I had to call. When it was time for my next auto ship of Uniquely Yours, I switched to an a la carte subscription in order to avoid $350 charge for food I didn't want since I had still been unsuccessful in canceling.

    Today, I finally had some time to sit on hold (not really, who does?) and I have now been on the phone for 40 minutes and 11 seconds and counting... I have been transferred 4 times and put on hold for most of this 40 minutes. I have not received a refund for the moldy food. I have not received a refund for the a la carte subscription that I didn't even want. At least I have finally been canceled. They canceled the subscription that I can't get my money back on. Awesome!!! 42 minutes and 56 seconds...

    I'm embarrassed to say that I have a doctoral degree and I find this program too confusing to follow. I have spoken with counselors twice to try and understand what I'm supposed to be doing but it's not helping.     I signed up 48 hours ago, and then a trip came up, so my intention was to delay the start. But I was told by an online agent that that was impossible. I would need to cancel, which I tried to do - calling the number I was given. First time I hung up after 15 minutes. Second time I hung up after 5. Third time I tried a different number selection - the one to sign up - funny it was answered immediately. The agent I spoke to became aggressive when I said I wanted to cancel and that within the terms and conditions this was perfectly legitimate. I was told that was impossible and not allowed, and she put me back on hold for around 9 minutes!

    Call was then picked up by "Jessica" - a different agent - who treated me as a new caller - no idea who I was, and who couldn't understand why I was lied to by the previous agent. I feel like this is a company tactic - and even though it took Jessica all of 1 minute to cancel the order - I will never ever deal with this company again!

    First of all the website had no place to put the code for a savings so I called them. They answered right away. Great! The salesperson said they get the complaint a lot about the website. He processed my order quickly but got my city wrong on the order. When I received the email confirmation I noticed this. So I call again and because they already have my money they put me in a hold loop from hell. Funny how that works. So while I'm on hold I decided to try the chat support on the website. That was zero help. After ten minutes of delays with a guy (Jack) that seemed to be asleep, he explained that I needed to call customer service. Great!

    Then after 20 more minutes on hold they said they could not change my order address. Really? They had to cancel my order and redo it again. After getting the new confirmation I noticed that they overcharged me $15. So guess what? I had to do 15 minutes on hold to only find out that they couldn't credit my card. They did issue a coupon for $25 for the inconvenience. Somehow it feels like they refuse to do anything that inconveniences them. All decisions are for the companies benefit, not the customers. Not a good way to begin a relationship.

    I'm not sure if you are open to ideas from your subscribers/clients, but it would be extremely helpful if your IT programmers could somehow create a sorting tool so that users could click on a button or tool bar to automatically alphabetize the food items that they have created in their "customized" food listing. It is very cumbersome and time consuming to find specially created food items as the list grows larger when they cannot be sorted.     I ordered the Uniquely Yours Plan and found the food to be overpriced and did not lose but a couple of pounds over a 27 day period. I got much better results by simply eating soup for lunch when not using the NutriSystem product. I received an email thanking me for my auto-delivery reorder. I immediately cancelled the order with much difficulty. I was told by phone after terrible effort to reach a live person that I would be charged $99 cancellation fee or I could order $99 worth of terrible food. What a ripoff. I have been unable to alert PayPal to prevent them allowing the charge for cancellation. Despite what some, probably NutriSystem employees, have said it does not show on the website when you go through the order process that a cancellation fee will be charged. I would recommend to anyone to not fool with this company. Deceptive and unethical business practices was what I experienced.

    I have been a long time user of Nutrisystem and value the consistency of the diet especially being prediabetic. I need that consistency and in the past it has paid off with decreased cholesterol levels and blood sugar. I paid good money for it so I can eat the food "every day". I have had some life events that led me off the diet and I have recently in the last couple of months restarted, only to find that you have removed four of my lunches and dinner. I truly am disappointed and upset about this. I did not purchase this plan to have an option to cook on my own. Not until at least I've lost all my weight that is.

    I did put a hold on my order for a month last month to look at other options but when my doctor said I medically need a diet that works I choose Nutrisystem. Again this month the price has not changed. I only got a small $30 coupon but that doesn't compensate for the fact that I have to come up with eight cooking meals when I do not have time and that is not the reason I purchased Nutrisystem. I don't feel it though that is a good change that you have made. I feel very ripped off.

    I feel it is wrong to do that to your customers especially customers that have been Nutrisystem for a long time many years. I still want my eat meals and I should not have to purchase more food. I think that is wrong. I think you should significantly decrease the price by almost $100 a month but in reality it should not have happened At all. I am paying the same price for the eight meals I had before and I want those meals and not have to buy them again. That is so wrong. I know Nutrisystem works for me so that's what hurts the most and in the back of my mind I'm still considering other options at all times. I'm hoping that this can get some hell resolved within your company. This is a problem.

    I eat healthy already so when I got NutriSystem to lose it did not work. I called to try to cancel after 30 days and they told me I would have a penalty fee if I canceled, said nothing about their "guarantee."     I am new to Nutrisystem. Have been curious about this plan for years and finally took the plunge primarily due to the fact I need to lose weight before an important doctor's appointment in 3 months and also due to the sale they are having right now (I did save close to 200.00 for joining). The first shipment took me by surprise. It's a ton of food and I was thinking, "how am I gonna get through all this food?" But the food is surprisingly good and the snacks (which are plentiful) I do enjoy. Now the complaints. It's what they don't tell you. They don't tell you that your next shipment is an ADDITIONAL 300/bucks. I assumed since I only ordered and paid for one month. That one month was all I was going to get until I ordered more. NO. That is not how it worked. Now when I cancelled the next order, it cost me 99.00 TO CANCEL NEXT MONTH'S ORDER... 99.00 DOLLARS! I essentially paid 99.00 dollars for nothing, NOTHING.

Was told it was processed but delay could be my bank. Refund request was sent to financial dept but I was not permitted to talk to anyone in that dept. Also was told they could not tell me anything about the notes in system and they could not explain why I had not received the refund in November. As of today - no refund.

    My husband still receives his monthly food order but we are getting ready to cancel his also. Product may work but their service is pathetic. Sit on hold, transfer from one person to another, and not allowed to talk to a supervisor. Ordering is very easy. Canceling is extremely difficult. I called this evening and the phone line is down in customer service. Recording said you could hold or call back another time.

    On December 22, 2016, I placed my second order for my meal plan. I did this before I ran out of food, however as of today I haven't received my food! I called Nutrisystems, to ask where my food was. I was told it was STILL being assembled and I would receive it within 4 to 10 days! I also mentioned for a second time, that my frozen food, on the first order was received about three to four days after the non frozen food. All the ice was melted and the fudge bars made a mess out of everything! I was told I am sorry! No offer to replace them, and again I was told I was sorry! I was hoping to remain a customer of yours for at least six months, but your service is terrible, and this will be the last order from me. I am disgusted with your methods of customer service.

    Beware, you cannot quit these guys without a lot of hassle. I tried to quit their auto-delivery program online and wasn't allowed to. Instead I was given a phone number to call. I got passed around a couple times until I got to the guy that tries to talk you into staying. So on 12/8/2016 I told him I wanted to quit. I didn't want anymore deliveries and to remove my credit card information from their system. I told him when I signed up I used a fake phone number because I didn't want any calls but yet my home phone is being blown up by you guys. I gave him both those numbers and told him to be 100% sure I wouldn't get anymore deliveries to my name or my address. He guaranteed I would not. Even gave me a confirmation number.

    On the 11th I get an email saying my order is ready to ship soon. I contacted Nutrisystem right away and they said it's too late, it already shipped. I have several emails to them explaining all of the above plus spoke to a really rude pushy lady on the phone. They say they can't take it back and will not refund my $375. Then they tried to accuse me of making a 2nd account in November and their representative only cancelled 1 account. I never created any 2nd account. I only updated my credit card information (which I regret). The only thing that should matter anyway is my name and address and the guarantee I was given that all orders were cancelled. Their only response is to fight it with my credit company. I have done that and the charges were reversed. However I want all of you to know what kind of people you are dealing with. The left doesn't know what the right is doing in this company and their customer service doesn't even deserve 1 star.

    I have asked you for close to 90 days now to please unsubscribe me. I click unsubscribe in the emails that you send me and it brings me to a page that I uncheck all the boxes and then I submit and it says that I am unsubscribed but it could take blank time for this to go through. Well don't you think that 90 days is enough time? I have forwarded the emails to your customer service people and they tell me they can't find my account but they see that you sent me an email. I send them information with the headers. I forward them the email and still I get their canned response from their training manual or maybe someone else is sending this to you will know it is you and I've asked you to unsubscribe me daily. Sometimes you even send me two or three emails. Would you please look into this and have someone contact me? Unsubscribe means stop sending me the emails.

    Nutrisystem will send you meals without any warning. I have delayed shipments for the four months I bought meals from them. Previously they were understanding and rescheduled without any problems. I just received a $375 shipment of frozen and dry food today that I did not approve. When I got the ship notice, (always a grace period included) I was going to delay the shipment, like I had previously done, but I got no notice. They just decided to ship without prior notice.

    My freezer is full. No room for this shipment. I am forced to ask neighbors to share their freezer space. This is completely unacceptable. My guess is that they know how many average months they will retain a customer. When you reach that age, it is a calculated risk that they just force another shipment on you to see if you'll cancel. I did and it's too bad. I would have been a loyal customer for at least 3-4 more months. I would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone. The hassle factor having to constantly reschedule and shipments without warning makes this company unworthy of my trust.

    STAY AWAY!!! Horrible company!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I subscribed to Nutrisystem when they had a sale. Less than a month later they billed my bank card $300 for food I never picked and refused to refund the money even though the package had not yet left their facility. Their user agreement says they will email you to let you know then Customer Service tells me it's only a "courtesy" and they do not need to send it. They acknowledged that they didn't! The package had not even left their warehouse! And they still refused to refund it. Saying I had to send it back? This was so deceptive and wrong. As a company this is completely predatory.

    I am a paramedic working 80 hrs a week in the 911 system to make ends meet. This left me in a horrible state before the holiday. I spoke to "Amanda" Ext. **. I cannot get through to her and she has not emailed me as she promised she would. It could have easily been taken off a pallet. They could have easily sent an automatic email but obviously they are only interested in short-term not long-term customers! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO KEEP ANYONE ELSE FROM USING THEIR SERVICE!

    Updated on 12/21/2016: Stay away!!! I have already had this company block my last entirely factual review. I was not emailed about my new order being sent as they said they would. I was charged and called immediately- although tracking information said my package was not sent until the following day they refused to refund my money!     I have been on Nutrisystem for 3 months and have lost 20 lbs with no struggle. I get to eat 6 times a day which seems like a lot in comparison to the two meals I used to eat! The food is actually very good in comparison to other similar diets and great for busy people on the go! I travel a lot for business and have saved money by not stopping at convenience stores or fast food restaurants because I can easily pre-plan. So anyone who is fussing about it being "so expensive" I have to disagree, because I SAVE money by not going out to eat any more! In addition, the diet that my personal trainer tried to put me on seemed impossible. All I could eat was chicken and vegetables which was BLAND and boring. To say you can never have sugar again...no way. It's not livable.

    Nutrisystem is easy and you feel like you aren't on a diet and that's why it's working. In addition, everyone saying "you're going to gain it all back plus some", I disagree. With the concept of eating 6 meals of day and counting calories through their NUMI system, this is my new life. I can't thank them enough, because this was the positive kick in the pants I needed AND my pants keep getting smaller!

    The reason for my review I am disappointed in the customer service of this company. Specifically what I feel is false marketing coupled with misinformation from customer service representative. So specifically this is the event. I have been on the system for several months and very much like it. In fact many of my family members are on it as well. Throughout the month I am constantly adding or changing things to my order, including ala carte items. On Black Friday, recently I received an email that advertise for 50% of each all ala cart items. Since I already had plenty of them in my account for my next auto order I contacted customer service and asked if they could just apply the discount. The representative then informed me that I would need to remove all the items from my cart and re- add them to obtain the discount.

    I further inquired how about items would be processed and I was told that they would be shipped out with my next order, that was set to ship on December 2. I saw the items added to my account and the discounted price as well. On December 1 I was checking my account to ensure that all the items that I wanted to order were in place, and the price was extremely high. I called customer service and was told that I was not eligible for the black Friday discount because the items were not purchased that day. I further explained that I was not instructed to purchase them that day since my credit card is set up on an auto delivery and any other all a cart items that I ordered get delivered with my monthly shipment, as I was told this would as well.

    The customer service representative sent me to a manager who told me that this is a misfortunate miscommunication and said the best they could do is offer me 20% off. That's a far cry from 50% off of the $800 of items I had in my cart. If I would have been instructed that I needed to purchase those items for the sale to be valid that day and not just re-add them to my cart I would have done so. Due to the incompetence of the customer service representative I was misinformed and therefore feel like I lost out on $400 worth of savings.

    Nutrisystem also provides chat transcripts of the conversations. I have them all. Clearly I would evaluate for self accountability or cope ability in the cigar right now, but in this case I feel as a customer I did as I was directed and suffered a comment. To me this is unacceptable. I strongly feel that they should have remedied the situation by honoring the sale that I went to all the effort to participate in, under the direction of their customer service representative.

    I ordered one month of food from Nutrisystem. I chose my plan for which one price was offered. I happened upon an email from Nutrisystem in my spam that said my automatic delivery would be sent soon. I had no idea I was "signed up" for this . I did not want auto delivery. When rechecking the website I saw it was very easy not to realize you were doing that, it's purposely unclear and I feel deceitful. When I called customer service I was told I would have to pay $99 to cancel the order, I was incensed, supposedly that was somewhere in fine print. So now I have to pay for an order I didn't even place. To make matters worse the customer service rep was extremely rude and argumentative. He tried to tell me it was clear from the website. I am an intelligent person... and this was NOT CLEAR.

    Nutrisystem is purposely luring customers into a plan they do not want. Why can't they be straightforward and obvious as to what the customer is actually signing up for, and also VERY clear as to any penalties. I am disgusted with this company and feel as I have been treated badly. On top of everything the food plan is horrible, the meals made me sick to my stomach, smelled and tasted like dog food.

    I belonged to Nutrisystem for several months and lost a lot of weight. As a senior citizen, had to drop out after 3-4 months. Was out of program for 3 months and re enrolled on a special online sale. After the first month I was not losing and a situation developed that required me to stop the plan. I called and spoke to a Nichole who kept pushing but I said Please Stop The Plan. I was advised there would be penalty of $99.00 and it would be added to my credit card. She said I should have read the Terms & Conditions more carefully. I was required to do two months on the program or pay the penalty. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING. I must protest the charge on my card. Not what I expected from Nutrisystem after a total of five months on program. At these prices then be hit with a penalty left a bad taste. Again, be careful when ordering as one can get an ugly surprise.

    Whenever a company won't let you cancel online and forces you to call, you can be guaranteed that they're out to try and hard sell you on staying and make canceling as difficult as possible.     Just a review of the misleading chat help and how Nutrisystem auto-delivery works: I just wanted to try the product for one month. I used the chat feature to have them walk me through the order process and I was adamant that I only wanted to try it one month. I just followed (like a sheep apparently) the chat helper's instructions and signed up, got the product, etc. I lost 1 lb so far after 3 weeks of following the program to a T. I don't have any medical or metabolic issues. It just didn't work for me.

    Today I just thought about the chance of an auto-ship, so I went online to view my account and chatting AGAIN with a helper, I explained the program really wasn't working and I didn't really like the taste of the food. Almost everything tastes like a chemical to me. Not sure why. Anyway, you can't cancel a program without calling the company. I had no clue that I had signed up for auto-ship. I guess I just followed the chat counselor's directions.

    Don't rely on help from the chat. Call in and get advice, and have them put it in writing. I guess I got a deal when I paid $300+ a month for boxed food rather than paying over $500 for signing up for no auto-ship, which I NEVER would have done had I not followed chat's advice. Misleading chat. In retrospect, I think he was just looking for the immediate sale and not the fallout after I found out I would be charged to stop after one month.

    I needed to ship a return back to you whereby I paid an extra $20 to get an email that had a FedEx label. I applied the label and sent it back to Nutrisystem. About a week later, I received the package back on my porch! I went through a full day of trying to go from a Fedex drop off point to drop off point, all of these places gave me the run around about not being able to find out why this happened to me (I carried the 23lb box ea time). Finally, I end up at the local Fedex ground shipping location and got through to the manager there who fixed the problem.     I ordered the vegetarian option. I found a small breakfast snack bar not nearly enough for the meal. The frozen portions were not received until over a week after the initial order so choices were extremely limited. Some of the lunches were simply awful and I was unable to eat the entire small portion. I did like a few of the choices and the turbo shakes but for the cost (plus the cost of adding in fresh fruits and vegetables), I will hire a nutritionist to help me make better food choices. I also did not appreciate being charged $99 when I cancelled my order after the first month. I will not be recommending Nutrisystem to anyone.

    I received an email today stating that Nutrisystem was about to ship me a second order. I never gave my consent for a second order. After I called customer service to cancel, the agent was less than helpful and informed me that my order will be canceled but I would received a $99 cancellation fee. This was after I had told her I dissatisfied with the product and that was why I was canceling. She told me there wasn't anything she could do about it because I'm "outside of my 14 day satisfaction."

    Nutrisystem counts the day of shipment as part of your 14 days and it takes 10 days before it even gets to you. Apparently you really have 4 days to decide if you like it or not... so I'm out $99 for food I will never received and the food I have now isn't enough to feed anyone.. DO NOT GET NUTRISYSTEM. They are one of those typical subscription companies with hidden fees.

    Very expensive (over $300 for 28 days of meals, not including the fresh produce you'll buy), punitive cancellation fee of $99 before you even get to try it, and worst of all, the food is very poor. Trying to hide chemical flavors with too much spice, overly processed and downright nasty sometimes. Many entrees I basically took a bite, grimaced, and threw it out. The shakes are good. The breakfast bars are fine. The lunch entrees and the dinner entrees are quite distasteful. I'd be better off making a homemade soup with fresh veggies, eating fruit, and losing weight with better nutrition and food value... not to mention saving several hundred dollars. This is a plan for someone who normally eats a lot of processed food and frozen foods and is used to the cardboard flavor, strange texture, and chemical overload. I can't believe that if you ate three or four weeks of this food, you would still retain your health.

    I don't believe in diet systems, but I needed a quick structured weight loss program for the short-term and the four-week program from Nutrisystem seemed (seemed being the key word) like a good choice. I was hesitant about the food quality and so I should have - it's awful. My frozen food wasn't frozen and now I can't eat it. But I still wanted to give the four week program a shot using the dry food. I called to cancel the prior to my four weeks being up (after all, it's supposed to be a FOUR WEEK PROGRAM), but they said they're going to charge me $120 for cancelling. How do you charge a fee for cancelling a service you are no longer interested in? There isn't a contract. I paid for my 4 weeks - and it was NOT a small amount of money. And the service provided to me was poor, as well as the customer service.

    I do not want to go a second month, I'm cancelling well before 11/8 when the next order ships. I will make sure every social media outlet hears me - do not join Nutrisystem. I only wish I had known prior to ordering. And now, after some research online, this seems to be a regular ongoing issue with them. I plan to go to my NBC news station to help get the word out if they go ahead and charge me a fee for cancelling. Also, there is NO option to de-select auto delivery, so basically you're forced to do auto delivery and then forced to pay to cancel regardless of when you cancel. Do not join Nutrisystem - you will regret it and it's not worth the headache.

When I call to cancel they added $99 to a cancellation fee. I am not happy with Nutrisystem. It may work for some but the food is not as good as what we cook at home. So we did not enjoy the first $338 we spent then thought when on hold we would not have another auto ship. Then had to call to cancel instead of being able to cancel online the way we signed up. All to make sure that Nutrisystem kept their profits when serving people that did not work with their system. What happened to 100% satisfaction guarantee?

    I ordered Uniquely Yours, the customized plan. Immediately after ordering (and paying) I received an email offering a discount at a much lower rate. :-( The package arrived and it looked like some items might be missing, so I wrote an email to customer support. Received a message from customer support stating that because I ordered the Turbo pack (food I don't like and didn't order), my order wouldn't include all of the food I ordered this month. I had actively tried to avoid the box of shakes because I don't like them. I also don't eat beans, which was the reason I purchased the higher-priced box.

    Responded to email and got an email back stating I could not respond to the automated email. Placed call to customer service rep who told me I could mail back the food I didn't like and didn't request (shakes and beans). Didn't apologize for the incorrect order. AND THEN TRIED TO UPSELL ME MORE SHAKES!!! Very underwhelmed with customer service that seems only geared to upsell--to the point they tried to upsell the very product I was complaining about right after I complained about it. No one ever tried to make anything right or even said sorry. Just kept repeating that the first month's order was different.

    Decided to just let it roll off. Not all companies can manage customer service. I still use AT&T and they're terrible. If the product works, I'll keep going, if not, I will not. Shook it all off. Got another email from Brooke saying it looked like my problem was solved and leaving a link to this survey, so I filled it out. A person can give up because life is too short to sit on hold arguing about diet food, but it doesn't mean that the problem got solved. You should know that. You don't have to do anything, but you shouldn't pat yourself on the back.

    I phoned twice (2x on Tues/Oct 11) and also sent one email on Tues/Oct 11 and one on Wed/Oct 12. At first the Numi app no longer offered raw Kale as a food option to log. Then it stopped working altogether. Your consultant told me to delete the app from my iPhone and reload it. In trying to do this, it will not allow me to log back it. I tried logging in online, but none of my information is in the app online and it also will not allow me to log into the Numi app online. HELP!!! VERY, VERY AGGRAVATED AND FRUSTRATED!!!     I'm not here to discuss the efficacy of the program, but their poor customer service. I purchased Nutrisystem twice because I didn't want to be hit with the $99 cancelling fee. They auto-renewed, and it my fault that I wasn't up to date on the order change email (it's more like three weeks from when the food gets first delivered -- hope you don't make the mistakes that I did). I emailed them first in frustration, and I wanted to stop at least the frozen part of my pack in hopes that I can maybe postpone or cancel the parts that didn't come yet. The non-frozen parts came, and I would have had to pay $120 to cancel everything and ship them back. I received a call from Nutrisystem, who explained the whole fees thing then and that my frozen parts were put on hold, and I said then just charge me the month's worth and send the frozen parts as well. That was two ago. I haven't received any news regarding my order since then, so I called back.

    The rep I talked to told me that my frozen part was cancelled. I don't know what the first rep did, or if he even bothered, but clearly it didn't work. The rep I talked to today was apparently not too knowledgeable because when I asked a question phrased three different ways, he just sat there, and asked if I wanted to cancel the program after this. I said yes, then he proceeded to hand me over to someone else -- but of course that means transferring me without solving any of my problems or answering any of my questions. I was put on hold for 10+ minutes, and I'm 95% positive that he was just trying to get rid of me. So that's it folks. Those at Nutrisystem see you as a problem and are just too quick to hand you off to someone else, or rather put them on hold indefinitely. I wonder if my frozen parts actually got reprocessed.

    I decided to give this program a try because it praises itself on being extremely effective. First of all, the food is simply disgusting. Second of all, the frozen portion of my order arrived thawed. You had to see how horrible the food looked - everything in that container was melted! Since I already paid for this order I decided give it a try, the dry food that is. The frozen food that I received melted, I IMMEDIATELY threw away. Realizing that I will not be able to achieve weight loss with this program, I called to cancel my subscription and just to find out that apparently because I cancelled my subscription after the first order and not after the second order, I was charged $99!

    The reasoning I was given by the customer service was that $99 was a fee for cancelling since I chose an auto-delivery. The strangest explanation I have ever heard! That just indicates that Nutrisystem is in the business of ripping off their subscribers. I was punished with an additional fee because I did not want to buy any more of their simply revolting food. I strongly discourage anyone from trying Nutrisystem!

    I hope this is my first and only complaint regarding Nutrisystem. After some back and forth with your customer service about what was/wasn't included in my order, I find that the Turbo Takeoff Package is shipped as part of the frozen package and is delivered separately. However, since that is the part of the program that you are supposed to START with, it would seem that it would ship BEFORE the regular order. I received the regular order on Thursday, 10/6 but since I haven't even received an e-mail regarding shipping of the frozen package, it will be another week at least before that arrives. I don't want to wait another week to start the program so I will switch things around and make it work, but I find this to be a major flaw in the system.

    I am extremely disappointed in your counselor. I called while I was at Publix asking a question about crackers and what type were all right to eat on the plan. The counselor went over things with me and then she said she was going to email me instantly all the info I needed in regards to crackers and substituting in power carbs etc. Instead I got an email just telling me basic information about Nutrisystem's with nothing specific to what I had asked. Finally I do not like that I have to print all the information again, I.E. Name, address, phone, email - when I'm simply responding to your request. In my opinion it's in there to discourage people from filling out the questionnaire. I almost gave up. Anyway, I am still on the program but disappointed with the counselor and the information that was not sent to me.

    This program would be better if they had a better staffing of customer service representatives and actually valued you as a paying customer. First off the first two orders were sold to me at a higher price than advertised, sent to the wrong address twice, and after speaking to the customer service people to correct this issue it was then blamed on me. Apart from the personal burden in correcting their mistakes, I then was given misleading information about cancellation fees with the recurring monthly payments.

    You would think as a first-time customer they would want to keep us content and continuing on this program, but no, instead they simply transfer you from one operator to the next who doesn't know what they are talking about and are very, very rude. Along with representatives being incompetent, don't even waste your breath speaking to management. They are short toned and if it's possible to know even less than the rest of the people below them.

    This company is run by cheats, ill-mannered, poorly trained people scamming you. This is a poor idea for a food delivery service. That's about it. You are better off buying from Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers, instead of paying these people ridiculous amounts of money to have a bad attitude. There is no value here. Highly recommend keep your money. It's not worth the headache.

    After eating their food for a month, I was very disappointed. When I called to cancel my subscription I was told that there would be a $99 charge for cancellation or, that I could order a supply of Shakes for $79 after which my subscription would be cancelled. Even though I didn't care for the Shakes, I chose them as the least expensive option. A month after receiving the Shakes, I received an email from Nutrisystem informing me that they were about to send out another order. This prompted me to call them, but before doing so, I checked my credit card statement for the date that the previous shipment had been sent out. Much to my surprise, when checking the credit card statement I saw that instead of charging me $79 for the Shakes, they had charged me twice that much!

    When I called them to tell them that I had cancelled my subscription... and not to send me anything else, I also inquired about the double billing of the previous order. Dan, the person I spoke with, who was testy and refused to let me speak with his manager, told me that I had been double billed because they had sent me a double order of Shakes, as per their policy. That is not what I was told during my initial attempt to cancel the subscription. Having said all of that, BE WARNED when doing business with these people. To say that my experience with Nutrisystem was less than satisfactory, would be a gross understatement and, as an unsatisfied customer, I am demanding a full refund.

    Updated 10/2/2016 - They had the nerve to offer me a "$30 coupon" for a product that I had already said I found unsatisfactory? And they want me to buy more? They must be kidding. Right? I'm curious: how much money did they have to pay Marie Osmond to endorse their product? The question remains, will Nutrisystem honor their money back guarantee? I'll keep you posted.

    I disliked most of the food this time around. You see, I am a former customer, who in 2011, enjoyed wonderful dinners and lunches! I saw very few of my favorites but decided to try new ones.     I personally think Nutrisystem's program was not bad at all, I actually personally enjoyed it. The only program is that I was not aware that I will have to pay $99 just to cancel the program. I didn't know or was informed that upon cancelling the program, I will get charged. Before purchasing the program, I made sure to call into Nutrisystem to clarify how the program works, the cost, or any extra fees I need to know about before purchasing, just in case I missed something. When I called into cancel, they were super rude, he told me that the rep did not NEED to inform me about any cancellation fees and that it was my fault that I missed any details about cancellation. I have personally issues going on that didn't allow me to continue with the program and the $99 dollar cancellation fee just placed me in a worsen situation. I was planning to continue the program after I get settled but after this, I wouldn't want to.

    I was on the Nutrisystem plan for three months and cancelled. They kept emailing me asking to come back. After a couple of months, I placed one more order with them. The plan was supposed to allow me to order my own food, but the plan went through without allowing that. I tried to call to have them allow me to order my items. They told me to cancel and reorder, but it would take a week for me to receive a refund. I declined and they sent me a bunch of bars for breakfast and lunch, things I would not have ordered. I called to cancel today and they are charging me $99 to do so! Total ripoff especially since this was not disclosed to me. I do not recommend Nutrisystem unless you want to throw your money away.
