I was confused about how I could add my own food to the plan, yet stick with it to achieve results that I want. Bernadette was able to walk me through how it works and said she would even send me some more complete food lists, which I am excited to receive. I've only got 10 pounds to lose, but they are stubborn ones! I've always been able to get the weight off when I've gained 2-3 pounds... This time it crept up to 10 and it doesn't want to budge! I'm excited to learn this plan and put it to work to get back to baseline! She was patient as she walked me through it all, and I feel confident that I can do this! Thank you!

I started a program about two weeks ago and found expired food with the package. The foods are not cheap and a bad meal can throw you out of the plan since you can't use it. Expiration based on the packaging say good till 12/17 but Food is bad.

I was told by a friend that I should try Nutrisystem again as she really like the frozen food. The food didn't taste good to me. Due to that, I never felt satisfied. I'm also on several medications which make it difficult to lose weight.

Food looks very good on package, but does not in reality. For example the pizza is awful! A fee of $125 when we cancel the first month is outrageous, forcing me to order the $160 package of lunches and snacks that I do not want in the first place. Furthermore I will not lose the £13 as promised and will not get my money back guaranteed. However, like the low glycemic concept and 6 small meals a day. Principle I will try to follow from now on.

I followed the plan, ate veggies when I was hungry between meals (which was mostly early on while my body was adjusting) and kept busy and have reached the goal I set! I have lost close to 15lbs and what a difference on my back pain, I am so grateful. We work in the car business where almost no one has the time to eat healthy but I talk up Nutrisystem every chance I get!

I decided to try the Nutrisystem weight loss program and on my 3rd week in felt that it was not for me. I hardly lost any weight even though I followed it to the T. I contacted them prior to having the next month's order shipped out and a nasty person said they will charge me $125 because I did not give 90 days notice. This is a scam forcing people to buy from them for 90 days even though you are not satisfied. I am not a consumer who allows rip off companies to take advantage of me. I contacted my bank and blocked their ability to get funds out of my account. I informed the nasty person that I was going to do that and asked for a supervisor to come to the phone, but of course that did not happen. So, good luck to anyone who wants to deal with this rip off company. Shame on them for the lack of customer service they provide. Just another company who makes money their God.

I ordered the 28 day program, when I didn't start the program, I realized it didn't make sense to keep paying $300 for subsequent food each month on a program I wasn't doing... When trying to cancel the 2nd month, I was told nope, or $125 xl fee... WTF??? So, my only other option of not being screwed was to return my unopened, non touched box for a FULL refund... After a long delay, you processed my unopened box & was refunded minus $19.99 of what I paid. Again, wtf... Customer service said I would get a full refund & that is what I am requesting.

Lost 80 lbs. Used Nutrisystem over several years. As I don't like cooking and live alone it worked well. Finally reached goal using NS for food and Weight Watchers for support. Numi is a poor substitute for all of the great help the boards used to offer with the successful ones helping the rest of us.

I have been trying to cancel this order since last week. I extended the delivery time last week. I was then told that it was not the only order you were processing. I sent an email on August 14 to cancel your account. I received an email today that you were shipping 2 packages. I received an email to call 1-800-585-5483 to cancel today. I was again told this could not be possible. This is not helpful.

The food was frankly, close to inedible-very poor. In addition, it took a lot of digging through reams of little leaflets to get an idea of how this works. Mostly though, the quality of the food was abysmal. I am an excellent cook so I think I will try just cooking more mindfully for myself.

I received substitutes for some items that are not things that I eat. I was very very pleased to find by contacting a consultant that they would replace the items that I would not enjoy. Although I do not prefer bars and such I really did not include these but there were a couple that I did. I was thrilled that they are allowing replacements because I always disliked receiving substitutes and that is the one reason that I discontinued using Nutrisystem years ago. This is a major positive for me.

I asked about the number of snacks shipped to me because my plan did not have that many on it. Come to find out, the tracker booklet was very very wrong. Why couldn't an addendum sheet be included in the order? I have not been following the plan but have been following the tracker. I think this is a serious mistake and should have been corrected before any diabetic shipments went out.

I started with 161.6 pounds on July 1, 2017 and this morning I weigh 151.0. I lost 10.6 pounds in 39 days. This includes cheating by eating out occasionally and at time I crave a low carb Carl’s burger and Arby’s sandwich. Steak and lobster at Sizzler, etc. I Started my morning walk twice around a circle at Almansor Park, Alhambra just two weeks ago and I slimmed from size 36 pants to 34. I used to wear Large polo shirts and now Medium. My neck size used to be 17 and now its is 15 ½.
Most significantly is my use of insulin as I am diabetic and have been for the last 10 years. I have spent more than $8,000 in a weight loss program for diabetes to lower my A1c and Nutrisystem finally did it for me. I used to inject myself 45 units of Lantus insulin. Last night I injected myself with just 2 units and my blood sugar has not increased in the morning. Tonight, I will be insulin free.
But of significance is that I also save over $400 by not eating out anymore. Eating out $800 less Nutrisystem $400. AND I NEVER HAVE TO COOK! Since I don’t cook anyway, this program really works for me. Even my wife who is a Registered Dietitian is now convinced that this program is working for me (she even eats some of my dinners when she comes home at night hungry!!). For people who are skeptical about trying Nutrisystem, Walmart sells a 7 day package for about $54.00. People who are committed to their health and well being should at least try it. It might just save their lives. Thank you Nutrisystem.

I chose Nutrisystem as a weight loss program to prepare myself for a much needed right hip replacement. Problem was, I was overweight, and my surgeon recommended the more weight I lost would greatly benefit my surgery and positive recovery. I lost 17 pounds in two months, had the surgery and am doing and feeling great! I highly recommend the Nutrisystem's program and will continue to enjoy the wonderful food and benefits!

I can understand now how you run your business. Do you really expect that people can determine in 14 days if they are satisfied or not with your program. You must really take everybody a real fool. I think it's just too bad that as large a company as yourselves, that you are so greedy, to take advantage of people the way you are. But I have to remember that a lot of people in this world are just that way. I didn't hear about the 14 days until I talked about the guarantee 2 months down the road. I'm sure you probably stated it, it just wasn't made very clear at the beginning. Of course I understand, since all the people buying from you can afford it and you are so poor, about to go bankrupt, don't you know.

My husband and I signed up for Nutrisystem with high hopes. The meals were not all terrible, but after one month we concluded the program was not right for us. I tried to cancel before our next auto delivery was fulfilled and I was told I missed the fine print that there is a minimum 2-month delivery required (at full price after the first trial discounted month). This is where they get you. I would not recommend to anyone. We are now stuck paying nearly $1,000 for groceries next month that we don't even want.
Updated on 09/29/2017: They allowed us to cancel outright, freeing us of the obligations we missed in the fine print (I still think they should be much more upfront about this; it's hidden and caught us by surprise). We are happy to mark this as resolved. Thank you Bernadette and Nutrisystem.

NS has changed my life. I have always been heavy but as I got older I realized that my weight and my age were causing some serious health issues. I couldn't do anything about my age but I decided I could do something about my weight. Since joining NS last Sept., I have lost 62lbs. I am no longer looking to have a knee replacement anytime soon. I can now walk my dog up and down the hill in my neighborhood without feeling like I have a 60lb bag of dog food on my back. My blood pressure has improved along with my sugar and cholesterol levels. I have more energy to keep up with my 3 granddaughters. NS has given me a new life and a brighter future.

Dealing with the lies of Nutrisystem and its personnel - I ordered only one month as a trial, to see if your system worked for me. You tried to penalized me with a statement that was not true. I contacted my bank and cut you off from taking anything more than what I agreed to, which was one month. No one listened to me about anything. Customer service is terrible, Robert and Matt were terrible and their lies were unbelievable. Please never contact me, again.

Nutrisystem NutriShakes are simply delicious! Your search for a delicious, appetite pleasing shake is finally over. If you are super busy like me, these grab and go shakes are just perfect! Simply add water or skim milk and you're good to go! These shakes help take your hunger away and keep it that way for a long time. The only problem I have is that my son loves them too and keeps stealing them from me! LOL!

The good thing about this program is that your portion control is done for you with the right amount of nutrition and calories and you know what to eat for each meal. The food actually isn't bad. Some things are better than others but I did find the salt content to be high. On another positive note, the counselors are very helpful or as helpful as they can be. They can't lose the weight for you! The disappointing part is that I have been on this program for 3 months and I have only lost 5 pounds. I have adhered to the program every step of the way with absolutely NO CHEATING! In the beginning I was limited to my exercise due to a foot injury but that is under control and I am doing daily water aerobics or brisk hour walks. I am allowed 1200 calories a day which I have rarely reached. The counselors tell me I am not eating enough.
I am a veggie eater and I pile my plate with fresh veggies along with my Nutrisystem entree. They (Nutrisystem) do not count calories for veggies (but I do) so in my mind, I am reaching the 1200 calories a day. I drink the 64 oz. a day of water. I have read reviews on the Nutrisystem site, however I could not find a place to write one! I do feel that their website leaves a lot to be desired. Not easy to find anything other than what you can purchase and promoting their program. They promote a 13 pound loss in one month. I didn't really expect that to happen but 5 pounds in 3 months is a disappointment. Is it too much salt? There is definitely fiber! The advertisement and the reviews indicate positive results from those that can write a review but sadly it hasn't worked for me and I really stuck to it. A good amount of sacrifice and discipline and expense for such little result.

It is ridiculous that I have to jump through hoops to get a Daily Tracker just because I now order by ala carte. I am still on the program and continue to log all of my food, but now I have to call or chat to get a booklet each month.

I don't believe that I understood the food choices when I ordered this. The information about the diet and for my first order was too basic on the website. I was very very disappointed with the 'dry food' option and the calorie count is not realistic. I feel the need to eat 'real food' on top of the simple dry unsatisfying foods. I am also disappointed to know that I am unable to cancel without paying more money for food I won't eat and do not like. Would never recommend this diet to anyone. Continual waste of money and I do not think it is fair to lock me into an expensive plan before I had any idea the food was so dissatisfying.

I signed up to try Nutrisystem Lean 13. Very small portions and you have to still add in your own food. I lost 6.6 pounds and did not feel like the weight loss was worth the hunger or money. I called to cancel after I was auto charged for second month and the rude nutrisystem rep said I could cancel but they charge $125 to do that. Nowhere... in plain sight... does it state that on the website. When I said I feel that is poor business, he stated, "Go ahead and say what you want... we have a great rating with BBB." Buyer beware.

I have been on the plan since June 1st, today is August 5th. I really like the plan, I like the food and especially like the ease of the plan. I have only lost 9 pounds to date. I follow the plan exactly as instructed; I really expected to have lost more.

I received the news feed that dinners were 30% off, I clicked the link and looked for the turkey medallions. They didn't appear in the search. I thought I had the name wrong so I looked it up. I wasn't wrong. I went to the website instead and found the product I wanted. I put it in my cart and I was NOT given the 30% discount. I did NOT place an order. I emailed NuMi because that's what I was using to start with. It took more than 2 days to get a response that the turkey medallions are dinner and part of the promotion. No information as to why it wasn't working properly... Whatever.

Did not like the food, only the breakfast and snacks. Maybe would have liked the frozen food better but wasn't given the chance to order any. Also the second order came too soon and was not given the opportunity to change the selections. Basically did not like the food.

I have been using Nutrisystem for the past few months and have been happy with the results. Recently I agreed to a new shipment from Nutrisystem for the upcoming month. The shipment was processed but did not get shipped. I received no update from the company and only when I called to find out why the shipment had not arrived I was informed that shipments could take up to 10 business days (2 calendar weeks) to arrive. I canceled the order at the suggestion of the customer service rep. Nutrisytem should be telling new and existing customers about this big delivery issue before they accept orders.

Counselor Support Re NUMI App not working properly: It took 4 days for a reply! To that end, in all honestly I believe you should amend your statement about counselors being available 7am - 12am 7 days a week as its true they’re available but not too helpful with regard to this problem. The first counselor told me to simply reboot my phone and delete the App and then reinstall it to fix my problem -- sorry that didn't work. The next counselor simply passed me off to the member support email which as we've already established took over 4 days to respond.
I had no idea what the counselor's email response was talking about with the profile change so his/her option 1 was of no help to me. I can, however, do option 2 but since the problem on that day (July 24) was that the app wasn't recording anything, I'm not sure that "solution" would've worked that day. First of all, let me say that the Staff I have spoken to are excellent. And they do their best to do their jobs well. Totally satisfied with them. The program: The fine print says that you must get the automatic reorder and if you decide to cancel after 14 days, you will be forced to pay a penalty of $125. So I called to cancel the next automatic order, just in case. "Nancy" explained that if I do that, I must return the whole order I just received. Well, I DID want to try the program.
The book that was supposed to be in my great, big shipping carton (the tracking guide) was not included. And aside from the packing list, there really was nothing to guide me to get started. I went to the web and tried to download the Numi app to my Kindle Fire from the Google Play store. It said it was installed - couldn't find it anywhere - and the message I got on the app page was that my device was not compatible. Life is too short to waste on that - so I found that I could log into the system directly from my computer. Fine. Problem solved and I set all that up.
Getting ready to start this morning, I was looking for a quick and easy shopping list. At least one that goes with the sample 7-day menu (which is still proudly displaying 2015 as the menu date). There is no actual, quick and easy shopping list that I could print out, run to the store and pick up - and get on with my day. Time is precious when you work 10-hour days - so to me, that's a very costly oversight. The whole purpose of a packaged program was so things would be quick, easy convenient. If I had wanted to figure things out, I would have selected Weight Watchers, which has a substantially higher rating. Regardless, "Sarah" was patient and helpful and helped me define a simple, convenient shopping list. The system really should provide a shopping list that goes with the sample menu(s) they post. I had my first breakfast this morning - and let's see how it goes.

I was enjoying my experience until I decided to take a break and realized that it is impossible to figure out how to cancel. You make it very easy to sign up on your website; however, cancelling is not possible online! Very shady business practice.

I ordered the basic plan as a new customer. I did not care for the food. I spoke with Frank at customer service. He advised me the basic plan is for people who don't have access to a refrigerator or microwave and I should have ordered the frozen food for another $40 a month. Of course Nutrisystem's website says nothing of the sort regarding the basic plan. I feel I've been duped and the company lacks integrity. I had to ask six times how to return the product before Frank would stop repeatedly asking me how much weight I was looking to lose. Shady practices. Of course $20 fee to return the product. I planned on staying on Nutrisystem indefinitely because the food was good but their service was so bad I canceled. My monthly order processes on the 24th. Today is the 30th and they still haven't shipped my food because the order is still "processing". It doesn't matter how good the food is, if I don't receive it, it does me no good. I told them I would cancel my membership if they couldn't guarantee me they'd ship the food tomorrow and send it overnight mail. They said they couldn't do that, they didn't even try to keep my business. A few times previously when I ordered individual items it also took over a week before they even ship it. They need to take some lessons from Amazon on how to process orders.

Me, my husband and son all joined and ordered food. Food came on July 25th and each of us planned to start 26th. My husband opened his first breakfast a muffin, and the entire muffin had mold. He reported it and only thing the offered was for him to get replacement and 20 dollars off. After opening a different muffin more mold. When he called to cancel on July 29th they charged him 125 or 129 dollars to cancel. Even though he cancelled with 14 days and cancelled because his food was moldy and the thought of eating it made him sick. All 3 of us cancelled our plans. Each of us got charged the 125 dollars. They didn't seem to care that several of their food products were infested with mold. They just wanted to keep us ordering more food. Can't even imagine what would have happened if he didn't pay attention and he took a bite. Dry heaving just thinking about it. Can provide pictures of the food on request.

As the man in one of your TV commercials says "You eat the food, you lose the weight." That is exactly what happened to me. No fuss, no strict diet, no weighing of food. Just eat the food that was sent and the weight comes off. Nothing could be simpler. One suggestion I would make and that is to order the foods that you would like to eat from the a-la-carte menu. This helps to ensure that you will be eating the types of food you would normally be eating.

My original order came with shakes. I like to have a shake in the morning on my way to work then a breakfast item. The chocolate has been great. But the vanilla shakes don't dissolve. They are lumpy and leave unmixed clumps at the bottom of the shake jar. I've tried less water, more water. The shaker jar should work to mix the shake well with the mixer ball. This is a very unsatisfactory product. In addition, in my last order, all of my bars that could melt were melted. I put them in the fridge but now when I open them what was melted flakes off the paper. I live coastal in southern CA. The weather is mild and the box was not delivered and left in a sunny area.

I received my frozen items 5 days before I received the rest of the food shipment, which was delayed at least once by FedEx. The instruction booklets were in the second shipment, so I wasn't able to start the program in a timely manner. Once I began to try the food, I found very little that tasted appealing. The bread on frozen items was very stiff and stale tasting, difficult to chew. The canned and packaged meals taste very processed and salty. Several muffins were smashed and the others were rubbery and inedible. This may have been due in part to the fact that it was transported and delivered during a week when our temperatures were over 100 degrees. The Turbo Take Off box contained items like chili and beef stew. Those items certainly aren't appealing with such high local temperatures! After trying 3 days of food, I elected to stop and pursue a weight loss plan built around fresh foods.
When I called to cancel, I was told my only options were to select a different plan or to pay a $125 cancellation fee since I got the original shipment at a discounted rate. It doesn't seem right to have to pay a cancellation fee when I'm not going to utilize the food. I certainly didn't expect it to be so unappetizing. (I'd feel bad about even taking it to my local food pantry.) The phone rep's comment was, "OK, I get it! You don't like the food. We try." There was no apology, only a quick charge to my credit card for the $125. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Nutrisystem to people who'd rather not eat food that tastes like C-rations or who are trying to watch sodium intake.

I did not participate on the program long enough to have a true review of how effective the program is or isn't. The reason I give it a poor rating is the customer service, or lack thereof, with every dealing I had with the company! I decided to try the program and realized quickly that it probably wasn't the best timing with a pending move. Three weeks in our life became chaotic with packing and getting ready for our PCS.
On June 24, I tried finding where I could cancel online, but found that I needed to call in the next business day and deal with the obligatory "Wait, can we convince you stay spiel". I didn't panic or feel a sense of urgency because it had only been two weeks since I received the first order on June 8. Unfortunately, on Monday morning I received an email that my package was shipped - really, so quickly. I called just before 9 am and was told that my packages had been shipped and it was too late to cancel and in the same breath I was advised that I could "suspend" my order until I moved! Are you kidding?! Nonetheless, I was stuck with this order. Imagine my surprise as I watched the tracking to see that a label was created but the items were not picked up by the delivery service until 4 hours after I spoke with 2 different agents!
I understand that an auto-delivery has a process but it feels a little shady when it's so quickly after receiving the first order and then to be told that the items had shipped when in reality only a label was created seems like a blatant lie. My understanding was that the items were in transit but rather the items were simply being boxed and prepared and a label created. I tried refusing the packages but I was told quite frankly by the delivery guy that the company doesn't allow it. So, being in receipt of the package indicates that I "accepted" the order and therefore the charge. Now I'm left with $416 worth of useless items because the movers don't want my frozen goods and I sure as heck wasn't packing them in a cooler to drive 1,500 miles.
To say that the customer service was non-existent is an understatement! I heard on 4 different occasions that Sunday, June 24 was the finally day to change or cancel the order! When asked how I cancel, I was told I could simply call customer service - which was unavailable when I tried calling Sunday after church. I can admit I knew nothing about a chat option but apparently, neither do their agents because they never advised that either. So I paid your $416.76 (which by the way was significantly more than the first order - nice bait and switch there) but I'll make sure that no one else I know ever gives this company a penny.

BEWARE! I ordered the men's 28 meal. I received the women's version. That's not bad. I later found out that I was in a "PROGRAM". Auto refills and cancellation fees. What a scam. This must be in fine print somewhere. I was never asked, on the portal, if I agreed to auto ship nor was there a pop up for auto refill. And nowhere that is prominent is there any mention of fees. And to top it all, the customer service was terrible. On the phone they said they would not charge a fee but then I got an email from them stating I was charged $125. No customer or order number on my packing list either.

I have tried dieting and it seems like most every gimmick or version during my lifetime, and Folks, Nutrisystem WORKS. I lost 31 pounds in 79 days. From 216 to 185... Nutrisystem educated me on CALORIES, I have found food nutrition to be so confusing, all the different ingredients. With Nutrisystem they do all the work and research for you, you just adhere to their suggested food and GUARANTEED you will lose weight. I typically burn 2,500 calories a day and with Nutrisystem I have been taking in 1,000 to 1,500 calories a day... The pounds started dropping off me... I could not be more pleased, THANK YOU Nutrisystem.

Lost weight and had a very positive experience with Nutrisystem, UNTIL... I lost the weight I wanted to over the course of 10 months, so I tried to cancel auto delivery and just order breakfast and lunch items ala carte. After talking to two different people for over 10 minutes, and receiving a hassle from both, I hung up and sent an email to cancel. I will find an alternative for breakfast and lunch due to the horrific customer service people and policies you!!!

Here's a list of issues: Website screws you out of the discounts. Diabetic plan does not receive the promo of the extra shakes and extra bars even though it is advertised. Customer service reps are not helpful and supervisors are not skilled enough to effectively help when you have issues. One supervisor even said to me thinking her phone was on mute, "This woman is impossible." Charged me for two orders due to the website issue fix and supervisors insinuated I was lying about what I received, refusing to refund the order until I returned the package, even though I only received one order. (Apparently, one of the reps had created a second order in my account to fix the original issue and that supervisor insisted I made the order).
The food is not healthy and loaded with MSGs, items with glutamate components, and preservatives yet their "counselors" argued with me that it was healthy. One counselor even went so far as to say that it was only my opinion. Meanwhile, the labels speak for themselves. Any food that is designed to last in a package for over a year is NOT healthy. He even said, "People wouldn't lose weight if it wasn't healthy". I tried to get through to him that you can lose weight in a LOT of unhealthy ways (fasting, drugs, etc). He refused to acknowledge that his statement represented a ridiculous premise. Then, I was told if I didn't accept and pay for the second month, they would charge me $125 (for what? For the $40 discount) I searched the website and didn't see this anywhere. I was told this only on the 3rd phone call when they were straightening out my order.
I followed the diet to the letter and lost 2 pounds the first 3 days. I was excited. I gain those 2 pounds back and an additional 2 pounds in the first month. The food itself is very unhealthy and inflammation provoking. This may be due to all the MSGs and preservatives. I've been off the diet for two days and I'm already feeling the relief from the pain and inflammation. Yet I've just been charged another $250 and my "package is on its way"- UGH.
Buyer beware! Horrible program, horrible customer service, horrible diet. Look for yourself and just Google the ingredients on the label. It will shock you. Plus, I noticed on this website that every negative review has an ambiguous response, ex: not enough information, insufficient data. I suspect this negates the number of stars so their ratings stay up.

Unfortunately, I signed up for Nutrisystem and it has been an ongoing challenge. When I decided to cancel, I called and let them know I just wanted to order a la carte in the future. The gentleman on the other end of the phone said he would cancel and that there was a program that allowed me to place a la carte orders. I did tell him it would be fine. A few weeks later, a box arrived with cheap, tiny plastic containers in it. One of which was so small it was marked as 2 Tbsp on the bottom. The quality was that of something you might find at a store that sells 10 for $1. i.e. would melt in the microwave and not dishwasher safe.
I had been traveling so not sure how long it was on my doorstep and did not pay much attention to it. Another few weeks passed and I received a large padded envelope with a piece of paper in it and a small tracking book. This concerned me. I pulled up my credit card bill and found they had charged me $50 for the tiny useless containers and another $50 for the piece of paper. When I called to complain, she did credit one of the charges. I asked about returning the containers and she said that it wasn't possible and that the $50 could not be reversed. I disputed the charge and the response was that I did not return the containers so the $50 charge was valid. It has been a terrible stressful challenge during a time when I was trying to make a positive life change.

I have been with NS since May 2016. I have lost 30 lbs but am starting to creep up. I decided to go ala carte and the rep was agreeable to waive the shipping since my order consisted of frozen foods (over $50) and the remaining was non-frozen. I appreciate the little things that NS does for me. I have always had positive experiences with NS.

I received my first box (food and advertising) on July 2nd. I had to call several time to get direction how to use it. Finally on the 5th of July I started, and discovered I was missing more information. (No list of Fruits, and Veggies) I could eat. Other Phone call, more Sales talk to buy other junk from you. I was able to start for good on the 7th. I was thinking to Quit because twice my blood sugar was so low I could not drive. Almost had an accident. I'm Diabetic, The last 3 days now that I'm following your DIET. MY Blood Sugar is always over 200. (FASTING) For me it is not normal, usually it is under 150 (FASTING). What next you suggest??? CC. To MARIE OSMOND, AND ALL THE LOCAL TV STATIONS THAT SHE IS ADVERTISING.

I object to using the term auto delivery. It is my opinion is that it should be called Auto Renewal. Auto renewal in my opinion should be not be legal. Companies are taking advantage of honest people to make money. Some things like medication make sense to be on auto refill. You advertise a 29 day plan for X dollars. Your plan does not make clear that if you suggest auto delivery it could double the customer cost. When I spoke to one of your reps, after I received a email basically saying that I had to make some product choices. This agent was very argumentative saying in the middle of some page the words "Auto delivery" was in bold.
He said if I cancelled I would have to pay the cancellation fee of $125. He did not care when I said I did not want the service. When I asked to speak to a manager I got the runaround. I called again later in the day and talked to a lady by the name of Danada I believe? I asked for her last name. She said for security reason she could not give me her last name. I don't know how Your company can hold people accountable if you allow them to hide behind secrecy. Thanks for the refund!

Due to a mix up with the auto delivery dates, I was double billed and sent 2 shipments. I am now in the red. I didn't have enough money to cover 2 shipments!! Tried to remedy problem but to no avail. Poor customer service for the very first time.

Please add the ability to add non-nutrisystem food for Bar Codes. I scan an item and it says it can't find it, and asks if I want to add it. I spent out 5 minutes adding all the nutritional details and click save. So, one assumes it saves it. But when I scan the same item again, it says it can't find it.

Last Friday I received an email from Nutrisystem saying it is time to order next months menu. In order to select my menu I need list to select from. I have called numerous times this morning to get the list. One of your dumb ** operators sent me the ala carte menu. Now please tell me how I am supposed to make a selection if you don't give me a list to select from. This afternoon I will be busy and not able to deal with your incompetent operators/system. And if I don't make my selection by 6:00 p.m. you will just send me any old stuff. But if I haven't made a selection by 5:30 p.m. I will cancel any new orders with you and your system. Have a nice day. P.S. I gave you one star because the system won't send my message if I give Zero stars...
UPDATED ON 11/24/2017: For over a month I have tried to get the menu from your company. All you ever gave me was all the items that might be on the menu. Well I finally decided to order your product in the blind. Didn’t think you would screw me. Well Wednesday this week I received your product. Well you ** me and good. The product you sent was all frozen food. I looked at my freezer and it is full of venison and pheasant. No room for your product. Did you tell me I would be receiving all frozen food? Did you tell me that I would need room in my freezer?
Well I am an honest guy. I shouldn’t have ordered from you because of your less than honest attitude about the menu. Well there was no room in my freezer for your product. So I throw your product in the trash. I then called your customer service and canceled all further orders from your sleaze bag company. Your customer service told me that there would be a cancellation fee. What kind or Trump company are you running? You not only misrepresented your product but you didn’t inform your customer that I needed storage space in My freezer. You are sleaze just like Trump.

I have been very satisfied with the Nutrisystem products. I lost the weight I was hoping to lose and I love the taste and the products. However, I have been VERY dissatisfied with your consumer shipping and how you deal with us. I thought I signed up for a 2-month program. I quickly found out it's a lifetime program unless you cancel. I wanted to order ala-carte after 2 months. Again, unless you sign up for the $99.00 yearly program you get raked over the coals with product costs and shipping. I signed up. No big deal. Again, after my first ala-carte order you put me on auto ship. I called in and asked them to STOP auto ship. I remembered the guy on the phone saying, "NO Problem, done." No more auto ship. The other day a package showed up on my doorstep. How do I pay for it? Oh crap! I forgot. You have my PayPal account and you automatically took the money out of my account without my OK. Love the product! Hate the way you do business!

It's really frustrating that despite the fact that your program is so good, the ordering experience is lousy. First, you sent an order that I didn't order, and then when I finally tried to come back and send a new order, it had me locked into some sort of quick-start program that I didn't need, because I'd already started. I called customer service, was told it was straightened out, and found out it wasn't. I had to email customer service, and it took three days for a response! So I'm told again that everything on the website for my account is fixed, and I can go ahead and place a full four-week order. If I get online and it's still screwed up, I'm all done with Nutrisystem.

I was considering your program. I want to know the cost of the second shipment - a simple question. Yesterday I waited for "chat now" until after 8:15, (starts at 8), and still no one was there. I sent an e-mail (as it instructs) with the same simple question. The first e-mail reply from you was "Sorry, we're very busy right now", and the second e-mail was "Call our 800 number and speak to a representative". Now there are 2 more e-mails reminding me that I never checked out my cart and trying to sell me the program. (I don't think so...)

I'm 67 and have experienced lactose intolerance for the past several years. The digestive distress caused by eating dairy products can be embarrassing and extremely uncomfortable. Nutrisystem's non-dairy options are very limited, and I found myself selecting the same handful of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks with each order. If I chose foods with a dairy component, I had to take ** to avoid digestive distress. While some of the foods are very good, there simply isn't enough variety to sustain long term use.
I lost weight and hope to continue the good habits I established while on Nutrisystem. The program is easy to follow, and food delivery/packaging is convenient and efficient. I submitted several positive reviews on some of the foods that were favorites. I would recommend Nutrisystem to others with the caveat that the menu is quite limited for people with lactose intolerance.

I need to lose weight on a program that provides pre-made entrees. I've gained weight over the years cooking for others and have lost my sense of correct portion sizes. Your program seems perfect for me however, I was disappointed to see entrees with such high sodium content. I'm not on a sodium restricted diet but have never needed extra salt but I do not buy soups and packaged meals that contain high levels of salt. There's 500 - 600 mg of sodium in your little lunch soups and the same in all the other entrees. In addition, they have Disodium Inosinate - a flavor enhancer more powerful than MSG, that keeps me awake at night.

I called today to cancel my subscription and was informed of the cancellation fee. That fine print information supposedly made clear to new subscribers. Typically anyone looking for a diet is feeling gullible and eager for a change, so these "contract fees" don't stand out. I wish I'd researched other customer complaints before ordering. The agent I spoke with on the phone told me there were no other agents around in order for my call to be escalated. Very poor ethics in supporting customer satisfaction. I ended the call out of frustration. Where's the "I'm sorry the program didn't work for you?" And end it there? Charging back the initial discount? Really? It's not a discount. It's a gimmick spread over two months minimum, guaranteeing Nutrisystem at least $600 per customer. Will NOT recommend this program to any of my teacher coworkers. What a shame.

I subscribed for one month, lost about 7 lbs but didn't feel that paying more than $470 for processed foods was worth it, so I canceled prior to my 2nd shipment going out. Two days after my cancellation confirmation, I was charged for another months of food and received notification that it had shipped. I called to get this rectified and was told that I had to pay $120 to cancel, which I was not happy with but agreed to. The rep told me that the food was already shipped so they could not refund my money. I explained that I canceled two days prior to the order shipping so I should not be responsible for their error. I got nowhere so I went to my bank to file a dispute. The dry food was rerouted back to their warehouse but the frozen food arrived. I was refunded about half of the $470, for the frozen food I assume, plus charged the $120. All in all, it cost me $400 to cancel this subscription even though I canceled prior to the shipment going out.
I was happy with the program but thought I could do better with better quality food on my own after learning how their program worked. After this debacle however, I will not recommend Nutrsystem. Poor Customer Service and criminal in the way they steal your money without authorization. Cancellation confirmation number ** on 5-29-17. Shipment shipped 5-31, for order **, tracking number ** and 6-1, tracking number **.

I followed the plan and did not cheat. I am an active 74 year old and asked the adviser if age would be a problem. He told me it might be slower but would work. I have been on this program for 11 days and lost 1 lb. I consider this very disappointing after giving up bread, sweets, alcohol, and my favorite foods.

I was very satisfied with the food and plan that Nutrisystem provides. I lost my goal amount in the time they specified. However, I did not like the fact that Nutrisystem gives the impression on their "4 Week" Plan in bold Advertisement, but in the very fine print, it is a 2 month commitment, costing me two times the amount that I had Saved and Planned for. I think they should place In BOLD print the Exact time and money frame that the plan will cost you. It took me a long time to save up and commit to Nutrisystem, only to have to be surprised and burdened with cost I did not plan for. READ THE FINE LINES for the financial commitment.

I like the Nutrisystem program. Some of the foods are better than others. I just don't feel that the instructions to follow are very clear and I think the cost is way too high, being that addition foods from grocery store are required in addition to the Nutrisystem foods. Unfortunately, can't really afford to go into a second month of foods to continue the program even though I'm very happy with my results so far and how I feel.

Classic SCAM - Beware of 'auto-renew' after your 1st shipment! You have a decent product. It makes sense to know what you can eat. No calorie counting, and you lose weight. Why do you need to use SCAMs? Is your business in that bad of a state that you need to bilk more money out of customers that chose to buy your product? I order a months supply to "tune up for summer". I got a second order and a call to let me know it would ship in 3 days on the day I received it. I'm sure it's hidden somewhere in your TS & CS that you'll auto-renew. IT IS ABSOLUTELY HIDDEN and in my book that's FRAUDULENT. You've lost a customer and I'll be sure to pass on my dissatisfaction to anyone I know considering a weight loss program.

Here is my problem. Nutrisystem cannot and will not guarantee you a delivery date. First they "process" your order and then it is transferred to FEDEX that has four to ten days to deliver. How do you plan any time away from home when you're waiting on a delivery that has no guaranteed delivery date? If you state "process" my order on Monday, it may be handed off to FEDEX on Tuesday, it may not. Who knows??? You certainly don't. The CS rep states, "call FEDEX." Why would I call FEDEX? I'm a Nutrisystem customer, Nutrisystem picked FEDEX, I didn't. Now they have charged me $125.00 for order cancellation. Got to love this program let me tell you. Garbage CS, garbage processing and shipping. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

When I placed my first order due to an advertised sale of 40% off, I thought I was not required to receive automatic shipments. There is a line that says auto delivery that I did not click on, thinking I was not requesting regular shipments. However, in order to receive the 40% off they automatically set your account up and to know the consequences, I would have needed to click the auto delivery to read about the fee. I found this extremely misleading to consumers. I did not click it because I misunderstood and was not interested in more than one month. I had terrible customer service and needed to contact my credit card company to dispute it. I was hung up on twice. I will never use this company again. Watch carefully the hidden catches!!

I am very disappointed that your company claims it cannot cancel my orders by email when my original order was by such, and claims I must CALL a phone number to do so and receive counseling. You say I applied for automatic shipments which I certainly did not, at least intentionally. I like your products, but will order when I want it, not whenever you decide to ship and bill my credit card just because you have my billing number. I have called a few minutes ago and am supposed to receive an email cancellation notice and can still order a la carte according to the employee which is fine.

I appreciated the garlic list that the team sent me but was disappointed to find out that even the most basic English based foods like meatloaf were laced with it. And why turkey? Garlic is a cheap, stinky weed to flavor food but entirely unnecessary if you are willing to spend 5 cents more/portion for interesting herbs and spices. So I would be left with only 9 lunch options and 8 dinner options. A pretty boring diet for trying to lose 25 pounds.

I had done this diet last year and had gained back 9 lbs. I wanted to go down lower so I have some wiggle room. I got my food and started with the first week. I lost about 2 lbs. and was very encouraged. Then it stopped. I have a very busy life. I have an 85 year old husband to take care of, so I do everything. I shop, I wash, I pay the bills, I vacuum a 1000 sq. ft. yard, I have a fountain that has to be kept up. I bank. I do not have time to stop and eat every 3 hours.
Also the water drinking is almost impossible if you have any kind of life. I am at the grocery store and have to go to the bathroom. I am also in the process of trying to get my roof redone. Right now they are painting the outside of the house... or preparing to... etc., etc. I get up at 6:30 or 7 am and go to bed at 10. I am totally exhausted by 9 Pm. I try to get in the 1/3 hour of exercise by walking or going to the gym. This diet totally consumes you and your time. It is not a good way to live. Would never do it again. Weight loss too slow. I was at 135 for 10 days! Then I go down a day and then I am back to 135 the next day. Very frustrating.

Food received looked nothing like Nutrisystem website photos. The non-frozen lunches & dinners all tasted the same. They were bland and unappetizing. Frozen foods were freezer burned and every dinner entree gave me severe indigestion that lasted most of the evening. Cookies were rock hard, hurt my teeth and the roof of my mouth. They were also extremely dry almost to the point of causing choking. The chicken enchilada dinner was freezer burned and after microwaving it, there was no way to tell the rice from the enchilada or the beans. It was just one big puddly mess and that was the very first item that made me sick. If you read the Nutrisystem website reviews for this product, you'll see others who were disgusted by this entree.
The Kung Pao noodle "cup" I had for lunch consisted of about 4 forkfuls and then it was gone. That also gave me severe indigestion. Their photo of the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie shows lots of whipped topping between the two cake layers but I got basically none. Also, two bites and the dessert was gone. The photo of the carrot cake snack shows it as having a nice amount of creamy frosting on it. My carrot cake had only a drizzle of white glaze on the top of it. The packaged, non-frozen dinner of Ginger Chicken with rice was soupy and actually tasted exactly like the horrible chicken enchilada dinner I mentioned earlier. In fact, even the non-frozen Vegetable Lasagna tasted like the enchilada dinner. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Their A La Carte items are crazy overpriced and the shipping charges are just as insane.
To avoid paying the shipping cost, you're forced to add the extra items onto your monthly auto-ship order which makes your monthly food cost even higher. People paying almost $350 a month for food should be able to at least enjoy what they're eating. Eating less when dieting is torture enough without having to eat bland, terrible looking and awful tasting food. And THEN to find out I'm supposed to buy extra groceries on top of spending the $350 each month was a shock because that is not mentioned at all in the commercials or when signing up. I am disabled, with an extremely fixed income, and have totally thrown away $350 for food that's not edible. Nutrisystem has a 14 day return policy but I cannot afford to ship back all the frozen food I purchased. And they know this.

I have used Nutrisystem in the past and just finished two months. My goal was 25 pounds and I did meet me goal. I find the plan to be very easy to follow and have gotten to know which selections I like which really makes it much easier. I would recommend the plan to anyone. I can say that I never really find myself hungry and the regular meals, snacks and water consumption makes it relatively easy. In addition everyone that I have dealt with on the phone has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I have been on Nutrisystem for 3 weeks and am so impressed with the whole program. I really thought you would just get the food, which would taste awful, and be on your own. I was very surprised to have a website to track everything, recipes, help, to name a few. Granted I could eat a lot more than what is given me but it is a portion and when you are used to eating way over portion size, it's an adjustment. The food is much better than I ever would have imagined. I love this program. The only issue I have is the expense, I don't know how much I can continue with getting all the food so I am trying to work in the regular food as noted in the tracker. Thanks Nutrisystem!!

I ordered my first order. There was a few items missing from the turbo kit so I immediately sent an email. I was informed that it would be shipped that day. A week and a half passed with nothing, so I sent a email to inquire. My order was cancelled. I was asked to call customer service, which I cannot do... I am very upset... I did not cancel this and I actually paid for product that I did not receive. My experience with Nutrisystem has not been positive. If I cannot get what I paid for or decent answers, I will cancel my Nutrisystem!!!

I am on my last day of week #1 kickoff. I feel better already, and I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not having many carbs. I want to say that my mother was a pioneer 40 years ago with Nutrisystem when it was a new program and had wonderful results, so I am now in the same place as she was when she started. She never complained about the food although there were no frozen choices back then so I want to tell the people complaining about the food now in the reviews that they need to be grateful there is a plan that offers many more choices than it had 40 years ago and much tastier now I'm sure.

Speaking as a new customer I think setting accurate expectations allows for customer satisfaction as well as demonstrating effective professional services. You have not done so well in this area. Regarding the arrival of our orders. It was not explained that we should not expect our shelf ready and frozen shipments to arrive on different days… even a week apart... an explanation of this when I ordered would have decreased the stress of not knowing why or where the frozen part of my order was. The explanation, "Don't worry about it. You have enough to start and the rest will catch up in a few days." was insulting.
When I called to discuss the difference in my husband's program and my program I evidently misunderstood the dependent. I thought I was told to follow the book not the NuMi since the foods for meals were different and we didn't know what to follow. I thought I was told that the NuMi program was having problems and to follow the printed book.
I did this and it turns out that it was the other way around. This made a difference with my husband's program as he is an insulin dependent diabetic and a heart patient... Yes we have dr. approval for him to be on this. Now that we have called in again (3rd time) we have been told that the books are wrong and the NuMi is correct. This will undoubtedly help my husband getting the correct foods. He has been feeling a bit poorly for the last 3 days... hence the calls.
When I have called I have had the experience of your helpers not listening to me before making an assumption of what I am saying and beginning to give an answer which does not apply to my question. My call this morning was a great example… The helper was not listening to the meals I was discussing. She had a set answer she wanted to give and not listen to my description. I got the feeling many people had asked the same question. She had gotten bored with it and had an answer she liked and did not want to deviate from her script. We finally worked it out but I had to insist she listen to the entire explanation before I got it understood.
If you knew when you sent out the daily tracker books that they were misprinted and I assume you did why did you not verbally or in an email notify us that this was an issue and we could easily correct it either manually or just use the Numi for food choices needed per meal? It would have been the responsible and professional thing to do. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions.

I find the Nutrisystem plan easy to follow and very convenient. I have not lost as much weight as I had hoped, however I plan to continue on the plan. I really like the Turbo Shakes but they are a little costly. I also like the Crush Bars but they are also a little costly.

I tried Nutrisystem for one round of twenty days. Unfortunately I experienced headaches and zero weight loss. I did enjoy the constant reminder of eating smaller meals more frequently but I felt like I was starving all day long. I am fairly active. I walk a lot at work and I workout several times a week. I was having an extra 2 servings a day of fruit, which according to the man that talked to me was the reason for my failure on NutriSystem. I workout 5 times per week so I figured an extra 2 apples wouldn't kill me. I was wrong. So... if you want this program to work you'd better stick to the program to a T. And I hope you don't talk to the guy I talked to about my cancellation. He made me feel bad and basically called me a failure because I ate too much sugar.

I called to change my plan. I wanted breakfast and dinner. I was told I could ONLY choose breakfast, lunch and no dinners! And they could not send vegetarian meals on this plan. I also requested no more Mexican food or soups. I received no confirmation of my requests. I asked them not to send shakes because I have a lot left over. I DO NOT understand the inflexibility! I'm going to accept the next order. It will be my last order. I'm checking out Jenny Craig. Nutrisystem is a racket.

Well as a lot of people do I went ahead and gave this a shot. Well it didn't do anything for me. I called to cancel after 16 days so I wouldn't be charged for an auto shipment which I was unaware that I even signed up for. The lady on the phone said I had to pay 125 dollars to cancel but for 200 they would send me a small box and I would have no more obligation to them. So let me get this right, I can pay 125.00 to cancel something I didn't even know I signed up for or spend 200 to get more food that didn't work. Huh whatever should I do. This is a rip-off. Glad to have this behind me. Never again. If it's too good to be true it probably is!

Breakfasts, fine. Snacks fine. Chocolate shakes, awful. Lunches mediocre. Dinners absolutely disgusting. Most went right in the garbage after a bite or two. Also, I have acid reflux and could not eat any that were "savory" or spicy. Plus your advertising is deceptive. You do not mention how much additional food must be purchased. The program is every bit as complicated as Weight Watchers. Your many brochures should be combined into ONE explaining the program. More is not necessarily better. And now I must incur an additional charge to discontinue before two months. This was a very expensive mistake.

I QUIT! I have wasted $400+ and have not lost a whole pound yet! I have gone back to Weight Watchers! Your advertisements couldn't be more false! Marie says, "Counting, measuring, meetings, ahh NO" is totally false. It's all that EXCEPT meetings! Help is hard to get because it takes so long. I spoke to Brooke in the Dietary Department. I had many food restrictions including no dextrose, fructose, maltodextrin, preservatives etc. Brooke was so very helpful, patient and kind! She emailed me multiple lists to cross reference to make sure we found enough foods for me that would work. She also explained the entire food plan to me step by step which really made the plan seem simple and doable. Thanks Brooke so much!

Customer service SUCKS!!! I just got YELLED at over the phone! Are these people serious??? When they want you to pay for the program they are all very polite and nice with you, but when you call to tell them that they messed up with your order, you better be prepared. Jocelyn from customer service really need to take some classes of how to talk and respect people, I have never felt so mistreated before. Also, when I asked to talk to a manager, she said that there was nobody to help me. I will be canceling my subscription ASAP, I will also cancel my husband's subscription and all the friends I have been trying to get to this program will be discouraged as well.

The diet is simple, straightforward & works very well. It's expensive but, I saw it as an investment in myself. BUT, billing is almost fraudulent. Supposedly, you can delay shipments, "take a break" & cancel. Forget it. They bill & ship no matter what. And, even though I always confirmed with 2 separate calls to customer service - it sends & magically there's no record of my delay. Great diet but, scam company. Just get the stuff cheaper on eBay.

I was really impressed that the food tasted great! It was hard at first not being hungry after the smaller portion meal but it was a nice transition to eat smaller meals, more frequently throughout the day! I ended up not being hungry at all once I got used to it. The program helped me stay on track while eating out too! Very convenient and easy for people with busy lifestyles.

I did a chat with a counselor and asked if I could get some Daily Tracker booklets -- I was forwarded an EMAIL of the booklet which really wasn't practical for me to print. So I emailed and got a response that 2 booklets were being mailed. These booklets are SO HELPFUL -- they keep me on track. My order hadn't arrived and I had food but no tracker. You should sell these at a very reasonable price.

This doesn't work with Fitbit, we reported it and tried to send reply to the e-mail suggestions but you don't receive e-mail. There are numerous issues with the NUMI app, many noted all over the web, people with app problems. You cannot enter manually today's calories burned and it's not possible to enter yesterday anything.

I was concerned about my progress. I have only lost about 3 pounds. Thomas listened to the food I've been eating and asked me to try a few adjustments. For example, a little less dairy and work in flex meals. We are going to try adjusting my snacks too. He explained the flex meals. Just received 2nd month of food a few days ago. First order had been incomplete and when I called I was helped and missing dinners were provided and I was pleased with service. Been using the app to track food and was very strict on diet. Some of the foods I didnt like and some I like a lot. For second month I had specified foods I like.
I wasn't sure the day my card would be billed for the second month and was told the particular day. I asked if it can be billed same day every month, i.e., the 28th of every month. The rep said "Sure, what day do you want?" I said the 28th of each month. "We can do that". I was pleased with her helpfulness at the time. BUT... my food never arrived and suddenly my diet was plunged into chaos. Food had run out. I figured somehow memorial day holiday was the problem with receiving order on time.
Because I had just had some dental oral surgery I took a few days before calling Nutrisystem about my order. I was worried my shipment had been stolen from my front porch. So I called and asked about my shipment. I was told, "Oh you delayed your shipment". I said, "No I never delayed my shipment!" Then I discovered my request for payment on set monthly date was why I didn't get my order!
I explained no one said I was delaying my shipment by changing billing date. Now I was told they can't give same billing date each month. This was annoying because food was delayed by a week unexpectedly. The first lady explained Nutrisystem goes by 28 day cycle. Why I can't imagine, since the world is monthly. I also asked for clarification on "you receive 24 dinners, 24 lunches, 24 breakfasts" and 24 snacks. I was told, "You eat one meal a week on your own". SO I asked, "So that is 4 meals, what about the rest of the food for four days?" This lady said, "Let me transfer you to someone that can answer that question."
Okay no problem, yet, other than being pissed off they delayed my order over billing date request. Then a guy answered from diet advice dept. I said I was new to this and didn't understand how 24 days of food and 4 meals on your own adds up to full 28 days? Seriously, 4 days of three meals a day plus snacks, minus the meal week you eat on your own does not equal 24 days of eating provided, and even more confused when viewing this as a monthly program.
The diet counselor could not answer and this was getting annoying. My concern was running out of food. He sent me back to billing. This lady was the worst, not only were my questions not answered I was told, "maybe I was eating too much!" And "we can't hold your hand!" WHAT? Are these people totally untrained fools? Not only do they fail to explain billing changes delays food to begin with, a simple math question with how 24 days of food magically becomes 28 days goes unheard.
I seriously considered canceling but decided not to be deterred by a couple moronic phone staff unable to do their job. The problem with being new to Nutrisystem is assuming customer service is there to help -- (most of them might be fine) or that they explain things correctly. I still have no answer to: 1. Why does payment date each month have to change? 2. How does 24 days of food magically add up to 28 days? 3. Why can't I be on a monthly cycle of 30 or 31 days? Running out of food undermines the diet. Trying to figure out payment date each time is stupid.

Your program came very close to putting me in the hospital. I received the food but didn't start for a week and a half. After two weeks on the program my blood pressure had skyrocketed and my doctor told me to get off of the program immediately. As it was longer than the 14 day period, I was unable to get my money back. I am very disappointed in the entire situation. I have been on Nutrisystem twice before and did very well but due to my current medical condition the excessive salt in the product just drove my blood pressure up to a critical state. For medical reasons I think there should be a consideration made. Because of this I will never try the program again. Not even the low-sodium.

I was able to order, pay, do ALL transactions with Nutrisystem online, without having to physically call Nutrisystem or speak directly to anyone. No confusion! When I try to cancel future shipments online, I'm told I 'have to' call speak with a Nutrisystem counselor directly. They refuse to accept my written, e-mailed cancellation, sending me a phone number & several prompts I must pass through to reach a Counselor. Because lines are 'busy,' I get to sit on hold! Just ridiculous! I won't be doing further business with Nutrisystem for this reason alone.
As far as the program is concerned, there's very few 'tasty' options. The 'Nutricrush' chocolate peanut butter bars taste like cardboard. The chocolate fudge brownies have a very strange chocolate taste. I can buy pre-made, pre-portioned food @ the grocery store, for same price or less (& not be surcharged for choosing food I like, or for frozen food). I don't have to 'call to cancel,' wait on hold, or be pressured, at the grocery store. I tried it, adhered strictly to the diet, along with exercise. Weight loss after 2 months was only 6 lbs. Very disappointed by that!
My friend, who is a hard of hearing, homebound senior citizen, started program on a promo. She liked home delivery & pre-portioned meals. However, as a senior on limited income, the price after her promotion jumped more than 200% per month. She could not afford to continue. When she called to cancel, she felt pressured by 'Counselor' who offered her a special on two of her favorites, got her free shipping, (rather than paying $11.??) if they shipped with her next order. She agreed to continue another month, thinking she was getting discount on entire order by continuing & adding favorites. She finally cancelled when she saw only the add-on items were discounted. I'm upset that as a senior citizen, she was taken advantage of.

Even though I did not lose the pounds I expected to, the system is great and I am willing to persevere. For people who don't have time to cook this is a godsend - the food tastes good, just a bit of craving in the first weeks but as you move forward those tend to disappear. The food is well packaged, easy to prepare and ready to eat. Clothes are no longer so tight which I think is a good sign but above all I feel more energetic, am definitely sleeping better and waking up not so tired.
Just got my second order - have to say I like the frozen food better although the saucy non-frozen foods are great as I usually place them on a bed of greens (I am addicted to foliage, both on my garden and on my plate) which makes a great combination. Hope I have a chance to continue to provide feedback as I move forward. Customer support is brilliant and I have been helped promptly and efficiently. Today I am going to talk to a counselor to see if changes are needed to address the slow weight loss.

Money. I love the Nutrisystem program. First order came on time. I was on a half down half and two week payment plan. Ran into a little bit of a problem, was going to be late with second payment and needed a little time in between second payment and first payment for second order when I called and spoke with the financial person that was no help. There was no sympathy that was "Now this is what you can do to get by for two weeks". There was nothing. I'm on a fixed income. I don't think things are not your fault but I felt like it was all about the money. I am a diabetic. I am an amputee of my Friday. Nutrisystem worked very well for me the first 23 weeks. I'm in my fourth week. I have lost 28 pounds but I felt like after the first order there was no more care.
Possibly would benefit by putting in some sort of discount for senior citizens' diabetic people with issues like that. I hope I can continue. After two or three phone calls I did speak with a counselor that gave me a maintenance plan for in between times but I think you should be a little more leeway on how it's paid for. Also I'm wondering if there is someone I can talk to you to help me with the exercise machine that I got through you people. Being in a wheelchair upper body stuff is easy but I'm wondering if there's some substitutes for lower body in a wheelchair. Wondering if I can get information to talk to someone about that. Not dissatisfied just disappointed in the way I was treated for money only.

This is a no brainer for my husband and I. Just like the commercial says "you eat the food, you lose the weight". We each have our own box and freezer shelf of food. Decisions are easy to make. The only modification I had to make was with the chocolate protein shake. I couldn't handle mixing it with water and ice, so I chose to use almond milk, only 30 calories more. No big deal. It is only the two of us now and I have to say, I don't ever need to cook again. My plans are to continue to use the Nutrisystem meals and I will be happy as a clam.

This is the second time I have done the Nutrisystem program (my fault I gained the weight back, plus I got sick). Every counselor and customer support representative has been FANTASTIC. They have answered all of my questions, solved my issues, and handled everything ABOVE AND BEYOND my satisfaction. When I contact via email, they always respond right away. As far as the food goes, I look forward to picking out my food for the day. The only item I haven't liked is the tortellini. But hey, you try cooking for thousands and thousands of people with no complaints! Now, if I eat too much, or food too high in rich, creamy saturated fats, I don't feel very well. It is a good reminder to eat healthy. I go through bags and bags of carrot sticks. I buy them in bulk now.
Nutrisystem spells out their terms right on the website when you order. There is no mistaking the shipping or cancellation charges. If someone is not aware of it, that is on them. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is that I love their shakes. I received them at 50% off in my first shipment and I have tried to get them at an affordable price ever since. I wish I could live on Nutrisystem for the rest of my life. I could never get tired of it. I will challenge any negative comments, because they just aren't true. No, I do not work for them. You can research it. In fact, I am a nurse. Thanks Nutrisystem, for being the best diet plan ever.

Beware of the money-back guarantee. I decided that I did not want to have the automatic next month order sent to me, so after a week, I called and said that I wanted to see if I could lose the 13 lbs. advertised in one month. At this time, I was charged an additional $125.00. I was told this is because the original price was discounted, but since I did not want the automatic delivery continued, this would be the un-discounted price. I did not lose any weight the following week, so I cancelled before the 14 day time frame. I returned the remaining food and was told I would get my money back minus the shipping fee.
When I called to check on the status of my refund, which has been over 2 weeks since it was received, I was told that the extra $125.00 was non-refundable and they will only refund what food has been returned. This place is a rip-off in the advertising of a "Money back Guarantee". You have to keep calling to get your money, and they find every way to keep your money.

My order never arrived and it is very hard to get any help from customer service unless you can stand to wait on hold for at least an hour. I got charged for a second order and still never received the first. It's a royal pain to cancel and I still haven't been able to get a refund for the first order that never arrived. I would like to thank you for the help Nutrisystem gave me in losing weight. I gained 11 pounds and could not get it off. I was afraid 11 would turn into 15 and 15 into 20. I am 67 so I think my metabolism may be slower now. I found the food tasty and the most important thing to me was I knew exactly what I was supposed to eat each day. It was all planned out and required no research or work on my part. I am single and so often just picked up take out or ate a frozen dinner or ate out with friends which of course is always tempting and fattening. So I was able to lose the weight (9 pounds with one or two to go). Thank you very much.

I tried to cancel my auto delivery plan online and was informed that I had to call and speak to a counselor. I called and spoke to someone with a name like Sakira? She informed me that I was going to be charged a 125.00 fee for cancelling. She said, "You have to stay on the program for 2 full months before you can quit without that charge."
I was on the plan. In the fall of 2016. And started with QVC. After two months QVC did not have the product to send my next order. I was informed by email. I went online and ordered from you. After two months, I found that I was not going to have the money to continue so I cancelled. However, I joined again several months ago through you and after one month I postponed my second shipment due to not having the money to pay for it. I postponed it a second time, but it was still going to be hard to pay for it, so my husband told me to cancel.
I went online to research your 125.00 cancellation fee and it stated that the cancellation fee is to reimburse Nutrisystem for the 125.00 discount you receive for signing up with for auto delivery. I NEVER RECEIVED THAT DISCOUNT in the fall or this recent time, I DID THE UNIQUELY YOURS PROGRAM AND IT WAS OVER THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS WITH NO DISCOUNT. I want my 125.00 back.

First off they are rude on the phone! Feels like a scam. Always finding ways to squeeze money out of you. Food is mediocre to crappy. All it teaches is portion size. Food is loaded with preservatives and sugar. I tried to cancel my order and they charged a LARGE extra fee to do so. I went from having an ok experience that was just not right for me to a HORRIBLE experience in which I will NEVER recommend Nutrisystem to anyone alive and posting this wonderful review!! My wife and I reactivated our account with Nutrisystem after few years away from the program. We updated everything and our first order arrived. We were happy with starting to shed some pounds again, after the first week we both saw measurable improvement. The taste of the food has improved and the selection was plentiful. We are looking forward to our second shipment.
This is where my wife's program fell into a black hole. We reactivated our accounts at the same time and we both had notification to make any changes before 5/18. On 5/19 our credit card was processed for just one program, mine. Being patient we checked on the 20th for my wife's account and it did not show anything, it was as if she stopped the program. After online chat and phone calls the customer service team seemed powerless. We were assured that on 5/22 her order would process, it is now 5/24 and her profile show order processing on 5/25. This is unacceptable!
I did take to emailing their corporate office and still no reply. So I took to social media and got a response to send in her email address which I did and still I hear crickets. In an age of customer service if a client posted a complaint I would be calling to make things right. I own a business and know the power of conversation. How is a person supposed to make wise food choices when the very service we rely upon has relayed making the order right. I'm not convinced she will even get the correct food she selected in fear of reprisal.
Today is her last day of food and by no means will there be hunger or lack of nourishment as we have a contingency plan. But, what if this was a person who used their entire food budget on Nutrisystem and was denied their order for a lack of processing the order. This falls squarely on the shoulders of Nutrisystem. Their customer service cannot even expedite an order or manually process an order as we learned in a recorded chat session, according to the service representative, not even a supervisor can make it happen. Really, in the age of instant everything a person with authority can't even override the system or maybe they just cannot be bothered. A review of her profile still shows the order to be processed 5/25 (5) days after when it was supposed to process. Fix this Nutrisystem or you will have more people not happy with your auto order system!

I went to my Kaiser doctor after several attempts to use over the counter products. The doctor ordered a CT scan to rule out blockage. But a week after I finished my Nutrisystem products with medication from my doctor. I was able to solve the issue.

Structure of their diet program was fine and I can live with the quality of the food. What I could not live with is the terrible customer service. They are very skillful in getting their hooks in you. Could find nowhere on their website that states you must sign up for a minimum of two months (over $700) or pay a $125 penalty. Must be hidden in the fine print somewhere.
Took an inordinate time on hold to find out I was hooked for at least two months and could not cancel until my second order shipped. Went online and noticed my second order shipped and called to cancel any other automatic reorders. Called the toll-free number and waited an inordinate amount of time again, was transferred to another number, waited again, and was told I had to wait until I received a tracking number via email before I could cancel.
When I receive my tracking number I will go through that painful process for a third time and cancel. They are truly insensitive and only concerned about their bottom line. One cannot even log into their account to cancel, it takes a phone call. They throw as many obstacles in your way they can to make canceling automatic reorders a painful process. Shame on them!

When signing up for this product, there is a pre-checked box in the application that, if not manually deselected, allows them to continue to deduct monthly payments from your credit card. Three months after stopping my diet, and being in spite of my account reflecting inactive status, the billing department continues to charge my credit card account. I contested this in March, and got a credit. I contested it in April, and got a credit. Now here in May is yet another charge. Getting in contact with customer service is problematic at best and following 17 minute hold, I was connected with customer service and explained the recurring charge problem... only to be disconnected. BTW the diet results do not remotely match the hype, and the few pounds I lost is far "outweighed" by the inconvenience.

Nutrisystem might work for others. It did not work for me. After 39 days on the plan I lost all of three pounds (WHOOPEE), and I was hungry most of the time. I did exactly what I was supposed to do, and logged my food/water intake and exercise religiously on the Numi website (which is really very good), but still, I lost no significant weight. When I called today to complain about my result and cancel my plan, the woman with whom I spoke was very sweet. When I asked about the guarantee (television ad, "lose fourteen pound and seven inches... (or whatever)... guaranteed"), I was told that I had to have made this claim within fourteen days of starting the program for Nutrisystem to honor its "guarantee".
Well, so I gained a pound or two during the first 14 days and got a Numi message saying, "So you gained a bit, but be patient, loss is on the way." Right, 39 days later, my net loss is 3 pounds! So, my advice: don't count on warranty promises (they are worthless). The food is edible but heavy of sugar-laden "protein" bars, which have more sugar, less protein, and cost more than the protein bars you can find in your local supermarket. The whole thing about the Nutrisystem plan in portion control. Fine, I get it. And the food is tasty enough -- bland, but a dose of hot sauce helps.

I delayed my order via computer. I was surprised when it arrived at my door and called. They verified I had delayed it but said since I didn't call to delay it and used the computer instead, it delayed the NEXT order. I asked to return it since it was unopened and was refused. They transferred me to another department who said they were incorrect and I could return it but they would have to transfer me back to the first department. Then that person said the person who said I could return it did not know what they were talking about and I should have called to delay my shipment instead of using the computer. They said that they'd cancel the dry portion for me though... but it too arrived several days later. Horrible customer service!!! I've now joined Weight Watchers.

Worst tasting stuff ever. All pasta and gravy. Do they even use real meat? Can't try the upgraded food if you aren't home all the time for delivery. Then, when I cancelled (after sticking consistently to the diet and losing 2 lbs. in a MONTH), I was charged an extra $99. And it took me 3 tries and over an hour on the phone to get them to cancel my membership. You can't do that online. I'd used Nutrisystem years ago with excellent results. They have really gone downhill.

So I ordered Nutrisystem for a month, I liked it but couldn't afford it anymore so I wanted to cancel. I called and was blindsided by the $125 fee, but I accepted the fact that it was my mistake that I didn't see the loophole and was willing to pay the fee. I changed the credit card on my account and deleted the one I used before because I needed to use my new credit card for the fee. They charged the old one (which overdrafted) and I had to make a bunch of calls to try and fix the problem!
Now I want my fee waived because that was not on me, it was on them! I have proof that my new card was the only card on my file at the time I cancelled. They said they will get back to me shortly but I waited a day and had to call them back. I had to repeat myself over and over for them to tell me that if I want a refund on my old card they have to charge my new one first! So now I'm at a lost at $250, plus my overdraft fee! They don't believe in refunds. I think I deserve my fee waived for all the trouble I went through. The system is great if you have the money, just be sure you look at all the charges! And if anything, try the 5-day $40 box they sell at Wal-Mart before you buy a whole month's worth.

I was very excited to start Nutrisystem. A new mom desperate to shed the weight quickly while eating "well" I went on an ordering spree. After spending over $450 and despite being screwed out of my online "$50 off your first order coupon" - I was ready to go. To my disappointment, the food wasn't that great, I constantly felt hungry. There is a bit of concern about all the dry packed meals and the sodium content. All in all, it just wasn't for me. I called almost two weeks in advance to cancel my subscription and was charged a RIDICULOUS cancellation fee of $125.
I cannot believe that this company would not stand wholeheartedly behind the product and cancel a subscription free of charge for dissatisfaction. I wasn't asking for a refund, I finished my entire month. I just did not want another $450 worth of food which honestly I could've went down the frozen food aisle and bought Lean Cuisine and Weight Watchers frozen meals and would've been MUCH happier and saved a ton of money. I gave two stars because the people on the phone are relatively kind. Otherwise I learned the hard way. I spent a lot of money on food that was terrible and then spent a lot of money ($125 to cancel!!!) trying to get myself out of that mess. I would not recommend this.

Didn't receive Daily tracker in first package, so had no idea what a PowerFuel Carb or SmartCarb was. Haven't been losing weight... could be the reason, I've just been eating whatever I wanted of the NS delivered. I was awarded NUMI rewards only to find out that you have to pay for the s&h. Not good customer service for those of us who use the NUMI app and complete the challenges. What's the point? Where is the incentive? Why bother using NUMI. There are plenty of great calorie counting apps out there. LOSE IT is an exceptional app that you can scan ANY food barcode. And I earned 50% off turbo shakes from using NUMI but have to pay for S&H. So I won't be buying any shakes unless they are 1/2 off again and can be added to my next order. Come on Nutrisystem, don't nickel and dime your true blue old customers because there is plenty of competition out there in the diet food industry!

I am amazed at how good this program could be, if only NS cared about the customer experience. Numi needs work. Your inventory and ordering system needs work. Your quality control program needs work and there is a definite sense that NS doesn't care. Does anyone even monitor the Facebook NS support thread? The answer is no. How can popular items be out of stock [and not backorderable!] for weeks at a time? Overall, the food is better than I expected, everything else fails to meet expectations.

I am rather disappointed with the program. Thought at first it would be great, not trying to figure out what to eat. However, I am in the 2nd month and dreading meal time. Some of the food is fine, but most of it isn't. Just this morning, had the cinnamon roll and it was so hard and dry, I had to dunk it in coffee. Most of the pasta is soft and mushy. I want to cancel but having trouble.

I was on the program for 7 weeks before I called to cancel any future orders. I was motivated and ready and limited on the extra financial to do this diet program to what I had set aside for what I hoped would be 2 orders. If I still would need to continue after that, I planned to figure it out when I reached that time as far as how I would afford another month. It took a long time to get the first order but I was able to stay motivated and followed the program to a tee. I only lost a few pounds but felt good and could tell the weight was shifting and clothes were beginning to fit better.
However I received only half of my second order and tried to make do using the containers to help with my own groceries while waiting for my frozen order which never arrived. At this point I lost all motivation and although I still have not gone off of the deep end it is frustrating and aggravating to not have been able to continue correctly. Especially having only lost a few pounds I knew one more order was now not going to be enough! When I called about my unreceived order after waiting over a week I was told it would be express shipped and I still did not received until the following Wednesday. That's 2 weeks late and a month after ordering it! When I mentioned how discouraging this was for someone trying to lose weight and depending on this plan all the woman on the phone could tell me was she was sorry!
Then when I sent a similar email... I was told "I see. Call the weight loss counselors." Are you kidding me? Why do you advertise all the reasons one should choose Nutrisystem, such as "perfect for people with busy lifestyles" "and "affordable for any budget", if you're not going to completely understand what that actually means? For being such a large company, I am amazed at the low level of customer service displayed! I am in the service industry and the second I feel a customer is not happy, I do everything I can to turn that around. Starting with refunds and providing services at no charge so that they see we really do care about them and their future business. I did not at all feel cared for. I feel like instead of losing weight, I lost money and motivation! If that was not discouraging enough I was going to have to lose even more money if I ever found that motivation again!
If you stood behind what you claim what you would have done is offer me a full refund, which you did not (and should have) or start my whole plan over again with a credit for my first 2 orders which was not done either! (And honestly would have been the right thing to do for both my health and your profit margin!) Instead what I received was a complete disregard for my inconvenience. And sabotaged motivation, an increase to the financial struggle this already was for me and a sorry about my luck attitude as far as being set back in my goal. So as far as telling me to contact one of your weight loss counselors, somehow that feels like a slap in the face!

I placed my first order with Nutrisystem in March. Received my food promptly. I was not satisfied with the food or the program and decided not to continue. I cancelled my next order and thought I was done. I received an email Thursday night that my next order had shipped. What?! I sent an email and was told to call. When I got up the next morning my account had been debited almost $400. I called and was told that I had not been cancelled. I had been delayed. Really?! Sounds really suspicious to me. Apparently when placed on delayed they just send the next order. They don't check with the client.
Deceptive practices for sure. So I spoke with a supervisor who was really rude. He told me he'd cancel my account but kept trying to talk me into staying and asking why I was discontinuing. I finally said, "Look it's really none of your business." He said I would get my money back in 3-5 days. What?!! Really?!! More deceptive practice. I did receive an email that my account was closed and I would receive my refund in 7-10 days if I was due one. So while Nutrisystem is making money off my money I'm out that money. As I was talking to the supervisor he mentioned that I had signed a contract and the contract stated I had to pay $125 to get out of the contract. So, in reality I never signed a contract. Their deceptive practices are cheating me out of $125.
I called back a few hours later and customer service rep told me the account was closed. When I asked when I'd be getting my money back he became unclear. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I waited on hold for 10 minutes. Another rep picked up the call like it was a brand new call. What happened to the supervisor?? She took my information all over again and said she'd forward me to a supervisor. I held for another 15 minutes. In all fairness she came back to me 3 times that the only supervisor was busy with another customer. After a total of 30 minutes waiting she told me that she would have the supervisor call me. It is now 24 hours later and now call. So I'm out $516. No one will call me back. I'm disappointed and angry. I will continue pursuing this but I beg you not to believe the marketing hype. You can lose weight on your own just my portion control and watching what you eat. I'm down almost 20 pounds on my own eating regular food!

I purchased two 4 packs of the Nutrisystem D Shakes, one Vanilla and one Chocolate and when I got them home and chilled them took them out to drink them they both had a bad odor and tasted like they were starting to sour. I proceeded to dump the rest of them out not thinking that I should have kept them until I got ahold of you guys. I was wondering what if anything you could do for me about this. I paid $7.88 each (times 2) and I don't have that kind of money to just dump it down the drain. I no longer have any of the packaging so am hoping you could still help me. Thank you.

My mother and I decided to try Nutrisystem together. It was an expensive decision at $316.97. Problems immediately started. First, even though we signed up at approximately the same time we were charged different amounts. I was later provided different reasons for that, but ultimately was to receive a credit on my second month. I didn't make it to the second month.
The food provided to customers is horrible. It has a terrible aftertaste and just plain bad. We contacted them to discuss a return on the same day, hours apart. I had to pay $19.95 for a shipping label that was emailed to me. My mother didn't have to pay anything for the label, but was mailed the label. The label didn't arrive for over two weeks. I sent the items back towards the end of March. I still have received a refund. I called on May 1, 2017 and the representative stated I would have my refund by May 11, 2017. I called today, May 12, 2017, and was told it would take another 3-5 to process because now they claim it takes up to 14 business days after receipt of the items. That means that they are claiming it took over a month for the items to be shipped back to them by FedEx. They offer no reviews on their home page, Facebook page, or anywhere I can find. I think that Nutrisystem is a shady company. I will be surprised if I actually receive my refund.

My third order of frozen food came with a 1/3 of the food thawed. I tried to reply to the emails about the delivery and no response. I tried to email Nutrisystem contacts and did not get a response. After vacation I saw the chat option and chatted with a representative that resolved the issue quickly and seemed concerned about the quality of the shipment along with my health. What started out as a frustrating experience was turned around when getting with a representative that seemed to care about me and the product I am using.

The order was canceled and a new order was done to correct the shipping charge error. I have been on Nutrisystem for over 6 months and enjoy the food. Was not very thrilled to get the email saying free shipping and then I was charged shipping. I have been charged the same about then it changed and I am on auto-delivery. One phone call took care of the issue, which I was very pleased. Todd figured it out and corrected the issue. I just hope this does not happen again and my charge card is not charged double.

My wife signed up in my behalf because, frankly I'm overweight, having gained 40 or so pounds over the past year. Partly due to being diabetic. So the Nutrisystem D (for diabetes) seemed the perfect solution - we both were looking forward to getting on the program. So the box arrived, and looking at the snacks and meals everyone had sugar - 9g; 12g; and none were "No sugar added" or mentioning anything like Splenda. Calling Nutrisystem I come to learn the "D" program is the same as the regular weight loss - only without two items such as cheesecake and something else. That's totally unacceptable as a diabetic/weight loss program - no doctor would say "ok" to such high sugar content.
Final - I sent the box back for a full refund and will go make myself a salad for lunch - this program is all hype. Good TV commercials but not at all a healthy plan for "D" - and still, nothing fresh - everything like you'd get in a vending machine - only more expensive. Costco to the rescue - eat fresh, exercise and don't buy cookies with sugar - see, free advice can save you hundreds of dollars.

My order took 14 days to receive due to a flooded warehouse in Reno, NV. After taking the Nutrisystem food for 5 days, I got a terrible yeast infection, come to find out, all the food had heavy content of sugar. When I tried to return the food, I was told I had 14 days to return the Nutrisystem food. When I told billing at the Nutrisystem billing office I didn't even get the food for 14 days, she told me she was sorry but that was their policy. I disputed the charge with my card holder who eventually credited my account back the initial food charge. Beware, the food does not taste good, it is loaded with sugar and you only have 14 days to return your order from the initial day of your order, yucky stuff. Went to Weight Watchers and lost 16 lbs. in 25 days. AVOID NUTRISYSTEM FOOD, TOO EXPENSIVE AND TASTE HORRIBLE.

On the way to my appointment I tried to call again and once answered I was asked my name and address over and over and I responded repeatedly and then was disconnected. Once again I called and Cynthia answered. I explained that I had received an email about auto deliveries and I wanted to make it clear that I would never request or agree to auto delivery. We are retired and on a fixed income and trying Nutrisystem for a month is all I'd agreed to. We were able to do this month because of the Costco discount. At that point she told me that there would be a cancellation charge of $125. I said that was completely unacceptable and that I would not pay a cancellation charge. I requested she speak with a manager and then continued to my appointment. As you can see, there were numerous frustrating "PR" experiences that could be remedied for future goodwill and customer service.

I called Sunday to discuss my membership, the gentleman didn't seem to understand my issues. I asked to speak to someone else and he transferred me to a voice message to call on Monday. I called on Monday and the rep just talk above me which is rude. I spent more than $900 for one month for me and my husband to try not to auto replenish since I do not see a difference and we could do the same with food at the grocery for less.

Order was cancelled on May 4th and I still received notification of another shipment being shipped. The food is terrible even when using the program to the letter. I only lost 3 lbs - when I called they advised me I have to pay a cancellation fee - even though I cancelled well ahead of the shipment date. I used Nutrisystem probably 30-35 years ago and was very satisfied. This program however the program is not at all what it used to be and appears to just be a con that won't allow you to cancel.

When I got my first order, the guy that took my order promised me that all of my orders will be the same price as the first. This is all recorded, look into it. Not only did you not honor that deal, my second order was about ready to ship when I saw the price jump from $328.14 to $420. Had I not review that would have been the charge. I do not do business with BAIT and SWITCH companies. I would definitely would not re-order ever again and based on the poor experience I had with you, would NOT recommend any of my fellow co-workers. In a very competitive market, not a wise thing to do.

I called into your support center on 5/4/17 and was treated so horribly. I have literally NEVER been treated in such a way. Not only was I transferred approximately 7 times back and forth between the customer service team and weight loss team, I was made to verify who I was every single time. The first weight loss representative, Krystal, was the catalyst for me asking to speak to a supervisor because of her less than apathetic attitude and general disinterest in assisting me. I was feeling very overwhelmed and inundated with Nutrisystem literature. I just wanted some guidance. I was laughed at, hung up on, and denied the opportunity to speak with ANY supervisor. I was eventually promised that a supervisor named Brittany would call me back at approximately 3:30 pm on 5/4/17. I am still waiting.
I called back yesterday and spoke with Rick who stated he placed $40 coupon on my account (which I have been unable to locate) for all my troubles, and that a supervisor would be calling me back around 4 pm 5.5.17. No call came. I wrote an email to the customer service department and was advised the issue I experienced was most likely a "technical issue". WHAT?!? I don't want a coupon, I want to speak to someone with some authority to address the way your abysmal customer service and weight loss counseling reps treated me. I cannot believe the standard of treatment that is acceptable with your company. I want you to make this right.

My first order was fine. My second order is inedible. The frozen order can in that white Styrofoam box with dry ice... completely undamaged. The same cannot be said for the food. Several packages were already open and food was loose in the brown box. Some black plastic containers are broken, the plastic is ripped and the food is exposed. Frozen waffles and pancakes are broken and almost crushed. I've only opened a few things and everyone has been damaged in some way! I assume the entire frozen order is compromised. I've already sent some images but I'll do so again.
