I do feel the website was misleading about the cost of a report. It offered a report for $1 but when I submitted payment I was charged $36. This was very frustrating. HOWEVER, I reached out to customer support via their chat option. Spoke with Robert. He was extremely helpful and understanding and was able to refund my purchase immediately with no problems. I really appreciate Robert's efforts in assisting me with this issue.

I used this for a records search on a car I was about to buy, it has every single bit of info on this car where sold, precious owners, SERVICE RECORDS! Most complete report I've ever gotten.

They say it's a $1 fee but it isn't. It's a $1 to just sign up and then they charge you $35 and then $7 for the report but I cancelled and asked for my money back and they said, "Ok. It's cancelled. The $36 will return to your account in 2 days" but they kept the $7 and when I went to look at the $7 report I paid for they said I can't unless I pay $10 for it and so I never even figured out the information I was searching for.

I went on PublicRecordsData.us & accidentally signed up for their Report Package. To their credit they sent me a thank you via the US mail but it didn't register that there was a charge until I got my credit card bill. So I contacted the Customer Service Chat & explained the situation. Maria from Customer Service issued a refund per my request as I hadn't used the service since the initial login & closed the account. So while I was confused about signing up (I didn't recall doing it) the outcome was great. If I needed the service I would certainly hire them.

One thing I am not a fan of is that records takes money without letting you know. They charged my account without my knowledge. But with support chat they were able to stop it and refund me my money back.

I paid the Initial fee for a lookup on a personal plate; which they couldn't even find the info for anyways. Oh well, I tried right, moved on. The following month, they attempted to charge me $30 for "ongoing access" to the lookup I had already paid for. Watch out for additional charges, apparently you have to request your account be closed after you use it, otherwise they charge you every month for the ability to log into your account.

I was pleased to get the report I was looking for, that being said I don’t remember seeing anything that said it was a monthly subscription and that I would be charged every month. I was under the impression that I paid for the report and that was that. Apparently not, thankfully I did notice the charge on my credit card statement and was able to get a refund for the second month charge, Jack in customer support was helpful. It should be made very clear that this is a subscription purchase and not a one time purchase. You need to close your account also to not receive anymore charges.

I have been waiting since July 7th for them to issue a refund and keep getting the runaround, stated it was an issue with my bank, then it was "escalated to finance" then an issue with finance, then they were mailing a check. I get the same robo response from "Andy **" apologizing and saying it's been "escalated". 2+ months later and STILL waiting!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

When contacting to cancel subscription since I was getting charges I did not realize I was gonna be charged, Rebecca was great at cancelling quickly!
