The issues of the recurring charge was settled to matter minutes from little effort.

I needed to look up a license player once and didn't know I had applied for the monthly subscription which was $30 a month. I never noticed until three months after and I hadn't needed to use the service again after the first time. All of this was admittedly my fault. Fortunately the customer service was very helpful in my situation and everything got fixed!

I asked help from PublicRecords Data.us customer support via chat today. 'Anthony" immediately responded and resolved the issue I presented to him. This is the best or one of the best customer supports that I have.

I wanted to use service once and did so. It appears their system automatically takes as monthly billing. Charged two times and chatted with team and they able to resolve immediately and received the email confirmation. Hopefully will see in account few days later!

The live chat agent was efficient and promptly confirmed that my account was closed and the $36 transaction voided. However, I came to the site for a vehicle license plate report advertised at $1 and was charged $36 without knowingly agreeing to that amount. While I appreciate the agent's handling of my complaint, the company's pricing and checkout practices are concerning. A responsive support team does not excuse a misleading purchasing experience. Customers should be able to understand exactly what they're agreeing to before being charged.

However, what was not clearly outlined was that there was a $35/month subscription charge for accessing the report over time. With that noted, when I reached out to the agent (Thomas) - he was very helpful in closing my account and cancelling the per-month charge. Kudos to him - excellent service for an otherwise disappointing interaction with the core service.

Not sure where the ball was dropped, but I thought I was only paying $1.00 toward using PublicRecordsData.us and was unexpectedly charged $36. I reached out to a kind representative in "chat" and the $36 was refunded. I'm in no way out to take advantage of your services, but next time I will take more time to read the "fine print".

I used the service once months ago but I didn't realize that they were going to sign me up for a monthly subscription of some type so I ended up paying them 30$ a month for how many months that I neglected to check my checking account statement. Be careful if you use them. They will slowly take money from you for service that you may not want or be aware of.

The profile matches are available but not fully accurate, however helpful to see what personal information is online. Cancelled the package as I only needed to confirm minimal details. Customer Support was QUICK to process a refund without pushback. Highly recommend this site if you need to search information once or frequently.

Public Records Data is a great place to get information quickly and without having to go to any place in person. I would recommend this site to anyone who needs records quickly. I misunderstood the bill but a text message was all I needed to get a correction and a credit to my bill.

The information was good but the fees aren't so good. They get you in with $1, have you decline offers to still end up charging you $36 per month for their services. Beware!! You will get a receipt but it has no dollar amount on it.

I was charged $36.00 when I was only looking for a one-time report of birth/death dates. I approved a charge of $1.00 for that. There were multiple other charge screens that I was presented with and did not understand their purpose. I never approved anything beyond the $1.00. When I sought help over the chat line, your agent was able to correct the matter and close my account as I requested. My 5-star rating is for the chat line agent. Not your service in general which I found very confusing.

I felt hoodwinked by "PublicRecordsData" - I thought I was still at the DMV site (trying to get records). Then I thought I was being charged $1 (which should have alerted me), but when I double checked, it was $36 - the $1 fee plus $35 recurring monthly!!! I then asked to get my money back via chat and Amanda was extremely efficient and helpful in canceling my "subscription" and refunding me. (assuming it all goes as described)

Katherine with customer support was very helpful with my account and refunding deceptive charges made by this company. I'm sure there was some small print somewhere that stated charges would be reoccurring, but I missed it. For a better experience it would be appropriate to have a checkbox and explicitly state VERY CLEARLY reoccurring charges will apply. Reoccurring charges should not be easy to miss. Make it so dumb people like me know what they're buying.
