I purchased a criminal report and paid for it on August 8, 2026. I was charged again on August 31st for the same report. I used the Chat feature. Ryan was my guy. It took him less than 60 seconds to resolve the issue and issue a refund! He also closed my account so it wouldn't happen again. Nice work Ryan! I really appreciated your help today!

The website gives the false impression that you can do a trial subscription for $1 per record. I performed seven searches and was billed $7. However, my credit card was also billed $37 for a monthly subscription, even though I cancelled the same day that I did the searches. Not happy. Won't use again.

I was able to get public data on my own house, but they publicrecordsdata.us initially charge extra $30 for a subscription (package as they call it). If you are not real estate agent who needs subscription, you may chat or call them and ask to close your account for refund.

I was seeking a record from Lane County, OR. because you pay Google, your website came up first as if it were Lane County, and I blithely searched for a property record that would have been free from Lane County. Then a $1 charge appeared and asked for credit card payment. I thought "that's reasonable" but then it charged me $36 and tried to sell me additional documents or formats. At that point, the separate emails and texts you sent during the transaction alerted me to the fact that you were not Lane County. I strongly feel that the entire chain of the process is deceptive up to that point. I received no documents, nor did I download anything from the site. I immediately asked for a refund through Chat and received one. For that, I appreciated the "customer service."

Checking on reported value of my home. There was a discrepancy in the amount charged and Steven was very helpful and accommodating in resolving the issue. However I will say the report contained a lot of erroneous info. I have owned my home for 35 years and the report listed a dozen other people as having lived here within that time frame.
