Mr. ** listened to what I needed to do with regard to my account. He suggested another way of accessing the data by joining another plan for one dollar a month. I was very happy to hear that I have this option.

Friendly call taker, she was very helpful and processed my request efficiently with helpful and complete service. The call taker was understanding of what I needed. She was not pushy about upgrading or not allowing me to cancel/downgrade so that my account was no longer active. She was informative of what remains active to my account but assures I will not be charged again. Unfortunately cancelling online after I had used my free trial did not work. I would recommend looking into this issue to save more irate customers who are charged who should not be because they cancelled, like myself.

I didn’t have an order number because I called and used your call back service and within 2 minutes Tucker ** replied to my call back. Tucker was very professional and so helpful. He explained the price change that I just didn’t notice because I’ve been a customer since 2018 and helped me figure out what email I had my account linked to because I hadn’t used the site in a few years. So thankful Tucker is on your team!!

I had frustrating Email, Login and password reset issues. I tried numerous times to correct the situation on my own but made it worse. Then I called in. Jaycee helped Research and to identify problems and suggested corrections. Well done, knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

He was very friendly and helpful while I was trying to cancel my trial. He shared other services I may be interested in and made suggestions. I really appreciated his willingness to take the time to explain things to me.

The agent was extremely helpful in troubleshooting why my document wasn't allowing for e-signing. He suggested opening an incognito browser which doesn't the have the old format history which worked! He also astutely pointed out to review the legal checklist before signing which actually pointed out that e-signatures weren't actually allowed in the state with which I was signing the lease. Very helpful. (Although Rocket Lawyer needs to fix the issue of allowing e-signatures on documents in states where it is not allowed...)

We used Rocket Lawyer for a couple of months and it was great. We needed to cancel and Sheree was great. She quickly resolved the cancellation - she was competent and quick! Will reuse this service in the future if needed. Thanks Rocket Lawyer!

Sheree was amazing. Super courteous and comprehensive. I had gotten charged on an account I didn't know I had. I only knew of one existing free membership account. The other one was created using my business email and I didn't know. She switched me over to free membership and refunded me the payment.

I had tried a free trial of this product and was under the impression that I had cancelled the subscription. When it appeared on our bank statement I contacted the telephone number on the statement and they graciously refunded my money.

The customer service rep was very helpful in getting me the information I needed about the pay service, however, the fees for this service is way too high and it's too much of a headache waiting to get paid. The wait time should be within 1-3 days once the bank information is verified, and then I had to wait a whole day to re-enter the bank information because it wouldn't accept my passwords.

Linda ** addressed my concerns accurately and was concise. She exceeded my expectations. She asked about any other email address I could have used which worked. In addition, her tone of voice and the explanation of what I should anticipate was accurate.

I was in need of a specific real estate document and was surprised how easy it was to find and complete the forms on the website. I later discovered within my trial period that I did not need it and they were very accommodating to cancel my trial so I would not be charged. If I need legal forms in the future I will revisit Rocket Lawyer again.

Hi, First, Thank you for assisting me in the process of legalizing my business. I do apologize for being frustrated in the beginning due to previous experiences. Rocket Lawyer Associates were amazing, great communication, and helpful with my questions. Shout out to Mrs. Keya **, she was so awesome in finalizing everything. I started a business that required an LLC. I set myself up with Rocket Lawyer and filled out all the information. About a week later they notified me that the name I chose for my company had been rejected and asked me to supply alternative names. 3 weeks went by and still nothing. In order to be considered for a new name, Rocket Lawyer told me I had to set up a whole new entity but this time it would be $224 (instead of the $140 that I paid when I first signed up). I waited nearly 3 weeks for the name to be cleared or a new one accepted - 3 weeks!

Do NOT use Rocket Lawyer. They make unauthorized charges and customer service is useless. They are in the business of scamming their customers, rather than providing a valuable service. You are better off to use a different company for your legal needs.

This place has no lawyers working here, it's fraudulent along with this Consumer Affairs documents. Your documents are worth nothing and they're not legal. You can't even have them notarized. They may look legitimate but that's what you're paying for. Fake not legitimacy.

Hello, I am not as "Proficient" using a computer site, as some. For me, I found Rocket Lawyer friendlier than I had expected, allowing me to be successful in editing and printing and then accessing the site again--to edit and print again :). The site provided document information that I did not even know was required to be included in the Lease Agreement. In addition to the completed documents, there is on-line legal help, if you need it, just ask. This experience, and how Professional the final Lease Agreement looks, made me feel very confident of the results. They make me look GOOD :). I will most definitely use Rocket Lawyer in the future.

In spite of the error on my part by not notifying Rocket Lawyer before the end of their free trial period, and thereby incurring a sizable monthly charge, Rocket Lawyer cancelled my debt completely. They were professional and courteous in every way. I would recommend their services without a doubt.

No one answers the phone calls. The only way they respond is via email after 24hrs. Ask a Lawyer service is a joke. They assign a lawyer but the lawyer won't answer your calls or call back. I understand people are working from home due to COVID but that shouldn't impact your customer service. I also started expedited incorporation but the process is so slow and totally not happy with the way the customer service is handling my concerns. Find another company even if they are a bit more expensive, you may get better service and speedy response. I am requesting for full cancellation of services and applications. Yet to see what they will say..

I used the free trial of Rocket Lawyer to create a document that we decided not to use. I forgot to cancel my subscription and my credit card was billed. I used their online chat to reach out about what happened and the agent cancelled my subscription, issued a refund and told me about their $1 per month plan which I signed up for. Courteous, prompt and efficient service. Awesome!

I don’t like the generic “try free for 7 days” then you start getting charged after the 7 days. I think it’s somewhat manipulative but I know every subscription is that way. I just wasn’t paying attention because the website was confusing and made me anxious. I did like the customer service over the phone and they did refund half my money so I appreciate that.

I used a free document from Rocket Lawyer that proved my identification for notarization with the Secretary of State Department, for an apostille signature and certificate. That was a crucial document for an international transaction. Hannah was very helpful and answered all my questions.

Delivered what was requested. Chat service helpful. I asked for reimbursement since I wasn’t aware I was being charged and they removed the fee. Might be helpful to have an email reminder so don’t run into this again. Thank you.

Afton was able to cancel or rather downgrade my membership and assured that there were additional benefits available to me even after the downgrade was complete. For example, docs are available until 12/20 and I am able to return to request assistance at a discount if not free for the time that my account was active.

The rating was more for the customer service on my phone call. The service rep was very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about the product, I just don't have a need for it. I was interested in the "Free" document that was advertised. I was able to use the service for that one document, but was unhappy to see that I had then been charged for a full month after that. Finally caught it on the second monthly charge.

In my process of starting a business, I needed to obtain a IRS Employer Identification Number. The website I selected represented itself as the IRS gov. and that I could secure the document which cost me $250.00. I paid it to get started. I never received the documentation I requested. Once I learn that Rocket lawyer was the IRS I attempted to get my money back. Then later I learned I was being billed 39.95 per month for service which I did not request.

Great experience. Tried to resolve my problem but had to refer me to another person that would not be available until Monday. The problem centered around me trying to pay for services. I tried to use 2 of my credit cards and neither one would be accepted.

Perhaps if I looked further I could have found the document however a sophisticated document was available on the internet for free and I am a lawyer and will be able to adapt that one for my purposes.

Taylor was very helpful- the reason for cancellation was that I could not alter some of the narrative in the contract- example... Your contract states that the client is responsible for obtaining permits- that is not allowable in NC unless it is a home that will the homeowner obtains permits- even then, it gets dicey! I would believe that since I was unable to print or access any files, I should be reimbursed the $39.99 you drafted from my account. Thank you.

Spoke with Kevin today to cancel my membership. He made suggestions that I was not aware of and because of this I kept my membership. Very polite and pleasant person to talk with. Need more people like him who is really interested in the customer service part of the business and not just push you along to get you off the phone.

Great to accesses to forms, but don't need them as often. Only once in a while, so didn't need monthly subscription. They were great for just about any and all forms one could need. Would refer them if you need forms online.

When I first accessed your website to help complete a Living Will I mistakenly requested Premier membership and have been charged $39.99 monthly for the past 5 months - OUCH! I called in and spoke with Taylor. When I saw my Credit card charged by Rocket Lawyer, So I called your the number listed on the Credit card transaction, So I called your customer service, opt #3 and your rep. answer my phone. She hear me said there was mischarged on my cc. She handed off my phone. So I called back and choose "Opt' #4, Your rep. Page answered the phone and she was patiently listening what I have to say. She understood it was wrong on your end. She told me she is going to credit the mischarge back to my Credit card.

Not needing anything further, I wanted to cancel my account but Justina offered a $1 monthly that allows access to my docs. Great value so I accepted. I called to cancel trial period as the document was not what I needed for an Ohio purchase contract. It called for seller to pay costs and provide docs that are not normally done. One particular item was for seller to provide a title search which is normally done by a title company at buyer’s expense, not seller’s as is stated on the document.

I used this to draft a few documents and cancelled at the end of August. I’ve been charged for September, October and now November. My account has been downgraded to the free account since the end of August. The September and October charge they removed right away after I emailed about it. I’ve gone without a response from them for over two weeks now regarding the November charge. I removed my credit card information from the website after the October charge. I’m extremely concerned because since they’re charging my account without a card on file they must be saving my account information to their server which puts me at risk of identity theft. Do not use this site unless you want to be subscribed to it unwilling for months after.
