Watch out for Rocket Lawyer automatic renewals. They do not send out a email or any kind of warning that they are fixing to renew your subscription and charge you on your credit card. Now you're stuck with paying it once you see that they have already taken your money and will not refund it. Beware.

Their customer service is awful!! I have been billed twice for annual subscription because Apparently I have two lots of subscriptions... for the same email address & account, how?? (I don't) and I pay monthly on-top! Their billing is AWFUL, read the other reviews online! Phone number online doesn't work so don't bother calling that - I asked for a number to call and it's outside of the UK somewhere. Online chat service has the rudest people (shout out to you here, Aaron - customer service is not your thing)! This is not good value for money and I will not be lining their pockets anymore. Much better platforms out there which cost less, have better features and have friendly people at the other end with working telephone lines!

Thank you for your company and all the experiences I have had on here. I have been a member for a few years and have found so much help for minor and major issues. Currently I am doing my Last Will, and all the other paperwork I need for end of life issues. When I get it all completed, I will change my status and have the lawyers look it over and help me finish it so there will be no issues for my daughter upon my death. I have recommended ROCKET LAWYER to so many of my friends and especially the people in my GRIEF SHARE GROUP so they can do exactly what I am doing as far as will, etc. I have also told them as they are all seniors, to get help for other legal problems they have. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP I HAVE RECEIVED.

I signed up for a one-year subscription and decided it wasn't what I was looking for. I requested a refund and very promptly they returned my money. They were very nice about it. I know in the future I will need their kind of help, and they are the ones I will go with. Genuinely kind people. It was obvious to me from the way they handled my return that they are the kind of people I want helping me.

As a new biz owner of both an LLC and a non-profit corporation, I was so grateful to have a resource like Rocket Laywer to help me draft official legal docs tailored to my biz. There is so much documentation and it’s nice to have peace of mind knowing that the templates they provide are vetted by lawyers. Also, they have excellent customer service - I had to cancel a package and they were so helpful and guided me to a more cost-effective package that actually is working so well for me. They’ve gained a lifelong customer!

I had trouble finishing my document and with Madison's help, resolved issue. Thanks for good customer support by phone! I have used Rocket Lawyer for several years and like the way it works, add more documents when you can. I have lots of documents saved and happy with results.

Started a "7 day-trial", and cancelled it back in 22'. Turns our they had been charging me 39.99/mo since then! "No record of cancellation" - Can't get a full refund even though we didn't use their services. No email confirmations of membership, payment or subscription. CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS!!!

How misleading can a website be? Advertising FREE legal forms that are definitely NOT free. You are required to sign up for a "free" subscription for 7 days and then need to cancel it or you will be automatically charged. Of course, this catch is never mentioned until you take the time to enter all of the fields for the form you want - and then they spring it on you that it is not FREE. Waste of time.

Didn't answer questions and support didn't answer my requests to fix the issues with their service. No response when I asked to cancel their recurring fees and refund for non-service. Their support chat system is almost never available and their email support doesn't respond.

Caroline answered my phone call and immediately with a pleasant for sauna, proceeded to handle canceling my subscription that I've never intended up on having in the first place in case you saw right off the bat that I'd never accessed the service. It was extremely refreshing. To have someone understand and not try to fight me an obvious mistaken Subscript. Granted, I would have liked to have all of my money refunded, but she was able to refund a third of it, which was extremely helpful. And I'm grateful for that. She is very pleasant and very knowledgeable.

I called customer support and Madie picked up, and I am so grateful that she did. She was easy to communicate with, compassionate and professional. I am glad that I chose Rocket Lawyer and grateful for Madie's help! She did great, and I wanted her bosses to know that she is excellent at her job.

False advertising. They think they're entitled to take people's money without permission. They say it's free. Then I try a card where there is nothing in the account because I'm familiar with these little corporate tricks. And my card wouldn't go through for "some reason", even though my cart said I was being charged $0. I had to CALL to find out what the problem was. Lo and behold, they said "Oh, is there money in the account?". You mean money for the free trial costing $0? Right.

I didn't fully read the new customer agreement and was charged for 39.99. I didn't want that due to tight money right now. Sierra fully refunded my money and sold me on the 4.99 a month plan for basic forms which I think is a great price for forms I may need in the future.

Very satisfied with my experience. The service lived up to their advertisement. I was able to use it easily and effectively. At one point I desired to downgrade my service level because I no longer needed it. They made it painless. I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I am in the process of being defrauded out a 500k and Dannielle found an attorney less than 25 miles from my home. This will save me countless hours of transmitting documents. Now the attorney can read the evidence I have immediately and can see my face and see that my testimony is truthful.

I was doing some research some time ago and must have requested services from RocketLawyer, with automatic renewal. However, no conversation ever took place, and I was not aware of the automatic renewal. Madie graciously refunded both the services request charge as well as the automatic renewal. No problem. Thank you.

The documents provided by Rocket Lawyer were very easy to follow. This site was user friendly. I received customer service via Randy and he was awesome. If I ever need another document, I will definitely utilize rocket Lawyer.

Justin was very helpful. I had a few questions on my account and he was able to resolve those issues for me in a timely manner. Justin was very professional and kind and knowledgeable on being able to help. Thanks for all your help. It's very much appreciated as sometimes it's not always the good feedback that you get when dealing with people in customer service and he was able to help me out and make my experience a good one.

Sierra was not only comforting she was very thorough in her communication. She explained why the charge occurred and ensured to look at all the email accounts I could have used. She found it was my other account and explained the trial services and that it was stated to call in to cancel if I did not need the full service. I overlooked that upon setting up the trial. She was able to reverse the charge and had an email sent to me. She also walked me through the document essentials package for only $4.99 a month. She was outstanding and is a very good representative for this company.

I had used the free Rocket Lawyer services in January. I only used a free document template. I needed no other services. I noticed our business account had then been charged $39.95 monthly, a service I did not sign up for or need. Ellis was incredibly courteous and understanding and assured me she would take care of the issue. She did as she said, sent a confirmation email and provided a lot of reassurance that the issue had been resolved. Thank you!! She is a terrific Customer Service representative.

Even though I called to cancel my service, she was patient, did not try to convince me to keep something I didn't want or need, and also took the time to find out if I had other needs she could help meet. The information she provided does have me considering RocketLawyer for some needs in the future. I called and spoke to two other ladies before I was transferred over to Justin. They were unable to cancel my membership because they claimed they could not find me in the system. I gave them my card information as well as my email, but they could not retrieve me in the system. Once I gave Justin my card number, he was able to pull me up right away and let me know what the issue was. I did give them the wrong email, but all Justin did was pull my information up from the last four digits of my bank card. I’m not sure why the other two young ladies weren’t able to do so, but overall Justin made my experience an excellent one. I definitely recommend this service.

I am so happy with the help I received from Justin. He helped me with the account I had opened 1-17-24 but realized it was not what I wanted. So, after talking to him and getting the account fixed the way I wanted, plus he helped me with the website and how to search that area. I did 3 forms & the website is very user-friendly. Thanks Justin and Rocket Lawyer. You are lucky to have him.

Ayana was very pleasant and friendly. She fixed my issue very fast and even verified I received her emails before hanging up, all within 3 minutes. I know firsthand how hard it can be with incoming customer service calls and she sounds like a seasoned pro!

They advertised a free trial which included a free document. I used the one free document, but did not know I would have to cancel after the one document, nor was there any obvious way to go back and cancel on the website. They charged me full price and refused to refund more than one month's service, even though I didn't use the service at all beyond the one free document. Do not be scammed! Go elsewhere.

The representative was extremely helpful and kind. That is very rare these days. She was just so helpful. I really appreciate that - I'm a senior she helped so much. You should give her a raise! I'm not kidding; most companies give you the runaround and transfer you to about 18 different people. The was smooth and easy. Thank you!

Justin was exceptional - professional, courteous, kind, sympathetic and helpful - I explained I had family medical crises and could not use my recent month of RL service, in the past month my 92 yr mother had 2 falls, 2 times in ER for broken bones, 2 surgeries, etc, so lots of concerns. I would like to use the RL service, but did not have time to do so these past months due to emergencies. He was understanding, he explained my options, and frankly - he made me feel welcome and like I wanted to rejoin RL again - although I have not taken advantage of the services yet, I think I only had time to ask one email question in one month. So that kind of empathetic customer service makes a client more appreciative and likely to return again - Thank you Justin!

I had the great privilege of working with your technician. He was very understanding and worked hard to isolate my problem. Without his help I would never found a simple mistake that I had made. I am old, have Alzheimer's and am no longer computer literate. Patience is really impressive and I learned a lot during the call. Please consider my accolades for a job well done.

They refunded roughly half of my subscription fee. Far more than I expected, so I really appreciate that. Good customer service.

If I need your services again I will definitely use you and I would gladly recommend you to others. I don't have occasion for legal documents on a regular basis, but being able to use your free trial was wonderful.

Signed up with Rocket Lawyer, because I needed some forms. I filled out everything. It ended up not being what I needed, but access to everything is very simple and when I went to cancel customer service was wonderful. It only took a few minutes. Justina was amazing. She even offered me a discounted membership which was very reasonable, but I don’t need it at this time.

I spoke to a helpful and competent agent today named Alyssa. For her service, I would give 5 stars, but for my satisfaction with Rocket Lawyer, I would only award 2. I needed to call today because I discovered a monthly charge on my credit card that apparently began after a free trial over a year ago. I am writing an email to support on that issue, but most importantly, it is clear that it is a business strategy to begin billing without any notification of that having happened (sending an invoice to the email address monthly, etc). While that may work out for you financially, it will result in lots of negative word of mouth reviews, which ultimately will negatively impact your bottom line. Tricking people out of $$ is bad business.
