I was billed automatically for renewal of a subscription after using one form over two years. The customer service rep was good to deal with, reversed the charge, and changed the status of account. You should be more transparent with customers.

I wanted to confirm the free trial I signed up for was actually cancelled and MacKenzie took care of all that with emails to confirm same in an efficient and clear manner. I will try to use Rocket again at some point to see if there is a way we can work together.

I was trying to create a TOD deed, but could not find the parcel description within the 7 day trial period and did not need the $33/month membership. So, I had to cancel. Your representative did inform me about getting a much less expensive membership, and I plan to utilize that as soon as I return from my travel. Great site and great service!

It was a great experience. I did not know if it was possible to use the same document for each employee without creating a new one. She walked me through the steps and it was easier than I expected. Saved me a lot of time. I’d give 10 stars, she was extremely polite and patient.

I was getting ready to go in for my left hip replacement surgery and it was recommended to get the Durable Power of Attorney done before surgery. I went online and located what I needed very easily. It took me step by step through the process and it only took me about 40 minutes to complete everything. That included printing up my paperwork. I did the 7-day free trial which also allowed me to cancel before the 7 days were up so that I did not get billed a monthly charge for the membership as it was stated. This process was also very easy. I would recommend this to anyone needing quick help.

Rocket Lawyer had the forms that I needed for several instances and the customer service department was very responsive with my account update request. I was able to get all of the legal forms that I needed, and the representative was able to downgrade my subscription when requested.

Utilized the free trial for advance directive. Very pleased!!! However, I missed the part about monthly billing after the trial. Hannah was extremely helpful and patient with me. She also was able to help me get my documents printed out and explained to me step by step on how to use the system. If, I were to recommend anyone it would be Hannah.

My issue was that I used your durable POA form but the lawyer responded that he was not sure that your form included the latest updates from New York State. Until I verify the form I'm hesitant to use it. I am now waiting for a follow-up question as to when or how I will know if the form is legal and up-to-date.

So I planned on just doing the trial for free and ended up spacing it off and getting charged for several months. So I decided to call them and Jamie was such a help..She refused ded me back 2 months and only took a few minutes. Easiest and shortest experience I've had.

I was able to continue my monthly subscription because he explained how I could downgrade my subscription to a lower monthly cost ($7/month) for documents only service which is a better fit for our needs. I used this site primarily for documents such as Power of attorney and sale of vehicles. It was user friendly and definitely cheaper than going to an attorney. It offers a variety of documents which was extremely useful to me personally.

I called for technical help because I couldn't find the document I had created. Anna helped me find the document and to solve a couple of glitches having to do with my screen size. She also helped walk me through some steps for editing. She was very helpful and persistent. The only suggestion I would make for flawless help would be for her microphone to be a higher volume. Thank you for having Anna available.

Because of her, I will look at the other programs that are not so expensive for limited use.

I called in for some help and Sharee was helpful and knew everything I wanted to know and more. She is the best. She was more than helpful and I learned a lot from her. I actually think the documentation app might be helpful for because of her.

I did the trial membership and then canceled it the very same hour. A month later I get this charge for $40.00 on my credit card as if I didn't cancel but instead joined the service. I did not. If this charge is not put on my credit card (it is in pending charges) like you say then I will be satisfied that you made right something that you did that was very wrong. I will rate it when my money is returned to my charge card.

I signed up for Rocket Lawyer to find a specific form, found one close to it, but then learned that it would not be accepted by the State of California. Cancelled my membership, but that was not as simple a process as I expected. Had to speak with a C/S representative to get it accomplished.

Rocket Lawyer is very user friendly. Unfortunately, the $39.99 monthly subscription for using the service every few years isn't cost effective. I was offered a reduced rate of $1 or $7 a month but I am unable to take advantage of the offer. Hannah was very helpful processing my cancellation.

Got a good response from lawyer. Documents needed for my business were available to edit, email and print. The speed and ease of getting it to the other party helped getting it signed quickly!! Mr. ** listened to what I needed to do with regard to my account. He suggested another way of accessing the data by joining another plan for one dollar a month. I was very happy to hear that I have this option.

The agent was extremely helpful in troubleshooting why my document wasn't allowing for e-signing. He suggested opening an incognito browser which doesn't the have the old format history which worked! He also astutely pointed out to review the legal checklist before signing which actually pointed out that e-signatures weren't actually allowed in the state with which I was signing the lease. Sheree was amazing. Super courteous and comprehensive. I had gotten charged on an account I didn't know I had. I only knew of one existing free membership account. The other one was created using my business email and I didn't know. She switched me over to free membership and refunded me the payment.

The customer service rep was very helpful in getting me the information I needed about the pay service, however, the fees for this service is way too high and it's too much of a headache waiting to get paid. The wait time should be within 1-3 days once the bank information is verified, and then I had to wait a whole day to re-enter the bank information because it wouldn't accept my passwords.

I was in need of a specific real estate document and was surprised how easy it was to find and complete the forms on the website. I later discovered within my trial period that I did not need it and they were very accommodating to cancel my trial so I would not be charged. If I need legal forms in the future I will revisit Rocket Lawyer again.

I started a business that required an LLC. I set myself up with Rocket Lawyer and filled out all the information. About a week later they notified me that the name I chose for my company had been rejected and asked me to supply alternative names. 3 weeks went by and still nothing. In order to be considered for a new name, Rocket Lawyer told me I had to set up a whole new entity but this time it would be $224 (instead of the $140 that I paid when I first signed up). I waited nearly 3 weeks for the name to be cleared or a new one accepted - 3 weeks!

Do NOT use Rocket Lawyer. They make unauthorized charges and customer service is useless. They are in the business of scamming their customers, rather than providing a valuable service. You are better off to use a different company for your legal needs.

This place has no lawyers working here, it's fraudulent along with this Consumer Affairs documents. Your documents are worth nothing and they're not legal. You can't even have them notarized. They may look legitimate but that's what you're paying for. Fake not legitimacy.

Hello, I am not as "Proficient" using a computer site, as some. For me, I found Rocket Lawyer friendlier than I had expected, allowing me to be successful in editing and printing and then accessing the site again--to edit and print again :). The site provided document information that I did not even know was required to be included in the Lease Agreement. In addition to the completed documents, there is on-line legal help, if you need it, just ask. This experience, and how Professional the final Lease Agreement looks, made me feel very confident of the results. They make me look GOOD :). I will most definitely use Rocket Lawyer in the future.

In spite of the error on my part by not notifying Rocket Lawyer before the end of their free trial period, and thereby incurring a sizable monthly charge, Rocket Lawyer cancelled my debt completely. They were professional and courteous in every way. I would recommend their services without a doubt.

No one answers the phone calls. The only way they respond is via email after 24hrs. Ask a Lawyer service is a joke. They assign a lawyer but the lawyer won't answer your calls or call back. I understand people are working from home due to COVID but that shouldn't impact your customer service. I also started expedited incorporation but the process is so slow and totally not happy with the way the customer service is handling my concerns. Find another company even if they are a bit more expensive, you may get better service and speedy response. I am requesting for full cancellation of services and applications. Yet to see what they will say..

I used the free trial of Rocket Lawyer to create a document that we decided not to use. I forgot to cancel my subscription and my credit card was billed. I used their online chat to reach out about what happened and the agent cancelled my subscription, issued a refund and told me about their $1 per month plan which I signed up for. Courteous, prompt and efficient service. Awesome!

I don’t like the generic “try free for 7 days” then you start getting charged after the 7 days. I think it’s somewhat manipulative but I know every subscription is that way. I just wasn’t paying attention because the website was confusing and made me anxious. I did like the customer service over the phone and they did refund half my money so I appreciate that.
