Had an issue with cable company and taking money out of wrong account which caused overdraft charges. But was able to get over draft fees removed.

I recently called the WV provider law firm to have a rental/lease agreement reviewed. I would have been happy to have the attorney give me a green light on the contract. What I received was an on time phone call and a 48-minute review and explanation of the entire 15-page contract. I was simply blown away at the time and thoroughness of the attorney. I have used them many times. I got $3600 worth of defective carpeting. Warranty claim was denied. One letter from my law firm....warranty claim approved. Overcharged by a cell phone company; refund denied. One letter from my law firm. Refund in mailbox. I would not be without this service.

I purchased a vehicle in January of 2014. During the process, I had called to ask the attorney what I should look for on the contract before I sign it. He told me to look for 'Other Fees' or 'Prep Fees'. When I was presented the contract, there were no 'Prep Fees', but lo and behold, there was a $695 'Other Fees'. When I asked the salesman what that was for, he looked at it and said, "Oh, that won't be on YOUR contract", and gave no other explanation. PURE PROFIT!!! I'm certain that if I hadn't asked, that fee WOULD have been there! That paid for my LegalShield membership for 3 years. I'll never be without my LegalShield membership!

This review is long overdue. My mother in law passed away July 2013 after a long illness. She was prepared and had all of her funeral arrangements taken care of. Including purchasing a costly family gravesite that had six plots. She was proud of the fact that this investment would not cause any hardship on her family. My father in law was buried there first and then in 2006 my young nephew was buried there as well. Now it was time for her to take her final resting place. When I went to the cemetery to make the arrangements with my brother in law we were told that we would have to pay an opening and closing fee which we expected.

In December 2014, I received a $54 parking citation after leaving my vehicle in a public lot of an apartment complex where I live. I consulted with my provider law firm Parker Stanbury. Attorney ** was assigned, and when I mentioned living in the location where I got the ticket, he said "fax me the documents for review." ** informed that normally parking violations are tougher to defend than moving but this might be an exception. He called back the next day saying because I lived in vicinity of where the citation was issued, forward the citation to the issuing jurisdiction along with my lease agreement proving my residence at the complex and a short letter stating such before the 21 day appeal period ended. I did just that.

There really isn't enough space here to share the many, many everyday life situations/problems that I have used this membership in not only one, but two provinces. I had a legal question regarding a financial transaction on a Craigslist sale. The lawyer promptly called me back and not only answered my question, but gave me a great deal of additional information and incite on this type of sale. The call back was prompt and the service was terrific!

When I became self-employed, I sent in paperwork to roll over my 401K into an IRA. The financial company managing the account was taking over 3 months to complete the transaction. In that time, my funds had diminished by about $5K and they would not answer my inquiries as to what was happening. Very easy to use, give great peace of mind. If you're a first time caller, the operator walks you through the process. Give the operator your member number and short description of the issue, and she'll give you an intake number for reference. The attorney will call back within 8 business hours. The attorneys are so polite and helpful. Most issues are resolved with just a letter or phone call from the attorney on your behalf. It's nice to have a champion fighting for the little guys.

I have been a LegalShield member for 11 years (even before it had that name). It has given me access to attorneys that I never dreamed possible. Travelling over the Port Mann Bridge in Coquitlam in Feb 2014, my car was hit by ice that broke loose from the wires overhead on the new Port Mann Bridge. My windshield was smashed in 8 places and luckily we managed to stay in our lane and keep driving. I was traveling from Dayton, OH to Memphis, TN to a festival. My plane was late leaving Dayton, therefore missing my connecting flight in St. Louis, MO that left the airport 15 minutes early. I was put up in a hotel. When I got to the hotel (late in the evening), I went to my room, then came back downstairs to get something to eat. I took the elevator to the lobby. However, the door wouldn't open, and I was stuck in the elevator. All of a sudden, smoke began to fill the elevator as I pushed buttons and yelled for help. It took about 20-25 minutes before I was rescued by the Fire Dept. and taken to ER where I waited for 8 hrs, treated and released.

I had a Telephone Service Provider that charged me a huge bill and all I got was "dropped" calls over a 3-4 month period trying to make calls, talking to prospective members and prospective Associates, then the call would drop. It was frustrating. The service provider said they were having new towers installed and they would imburse me $25. I called my LS lawyers. The main reason I purchased the membership is to make sure my sons were protected just in case they were harassed by CPD. When my oldest son was 16 years old he was stopped for no reason. I've used the membership over and over and I'm always amazed that I have this kind of access. This is the best kept secret in the world.

We have used Maguire & Schneider, our Ohio law firm many times. The service has always been way above our expectations. We had difficulty getting a refund from our trash company. We sent a check for three months worth of service. Two days later we received a letter saying they would no longer pick up yard waste. We couldn't burn it and there was no other way to get rid of it. After two months I called the law firm. We had our check in two days.

My property in the state of California was damaged by heavy rain (roof, inside wall and carpet). The HOA was properly informed, phone calls, letters and pictures of repairs needed. I bought a used generator from a business which quickly developed problems and did not work. After not receiving an appropriate response from the business I called LegalShield's Provider law firm. Response to my need/inquiry was immediate and solid in terms of advice with the result of a response from the business the following day and a refund of the purchase of the generator.

LegalShield helped me get a refund in the amount of $1750 from a contractor who did faulty work. I attempted for 3 months to get them to either repair the problem or refund my money with no success. I've called them at least 6 times in the last two months to ask about things in various areas of law. Every time I made a phone appointment with the lawyer they were available. Two of the times I had a phone appointment with them I actually got busy and forgot... so they called me! On Jan 18th, 2012 at 1:00 in the afternoon while I was at work in the middle of A pedicure I got a call from my son's half brother in Arizona stating that ** just been arrested and was in the back of a police car heading to jail. I have been a happy member with LegalShield since November 2014. I have already called my firm four times with separate questions related to employment, traffic, taxes and my HOA for our home. I have been a member for 15 years with LegalShield. I can not say enough about The Anderson Law Firm here in Alabama. Once again they have proved to be an asset to me and my family. I was having an issue with a large corp in NYC that I felt owed me a refund but after several attempts of calling and emailing them asking for a refund. Which they said it was their policy to not give refunds even after they had not delivered what they promised and continued to change the rules of the company numerous times over the course of the past year. I was over in the city of San Mateo riding my Segway down the sidewalk. (I have MS so my doctors wrote a prescription for a Segway because I can still stand so I didn't want to sit down in a electric wheelchair.) As I came up to a really nice restaurant that sets tables outside during the daytime on the sidewalk. There were 4 elderly ladies sitting talking after they had finished their lunch. I probably could have gotten by but it would have been closed so I stopped and asked one of them if she would move up so I could go by. I would not be without this membership. The very first time I used the services I had a $2300 issue with a company that sells timeshares for timeshare owners. They were not delivering on what they promised to do and when I wanted a refund, they said I could not get my money back. I had a situation where I wasn't receiving good cell phone coverage in my home from my previous cell phone provider. For a period of about three months I did not have adequate service in my house. I continuously dropped calls, would not receive incoming calls, or had a hard time making outbound calls. I contacted my previous provider and let them know that I was experiencing difficulty.
