LegalShield is one of the best products/services that I have ever owned or been a member of! The value, quality and quantity that you get for your monthly membership fee is the BEST value around! I'll never go without it. Just simply the best!

I have been a LegalShield member for 4 years. There has NEVER been a time that I have not been pleased with the service and the value. I have used my membership countless times. I may not have been pleased with the outcome of my situation, but the services that were promised were rendered. The advice was honest and truthful. The law is the law and in the situations where I was not pleased it was simply because the law was unjust...the law firm provider and the LegalShield service was top notch! I believe that this is a service that I will keep forever!!

I could think of couple of things LegalShield has help me with. One that stands out the most -- We have Homeowners Association. Parking is restricted. Our son called us one day said the car was not where he parked it. Didn't see it anywhere. Come to find out it was towed. Had to pay $200.00 to get car back. Called the Law firm. Told them what happen. They wrote a letter on our behalf. In less than a week we got our money back.

Child Custody Issue. I used the LegalShield membership in this matter and was VERY pleased with the advice and consultation from the Las Vegas Law Firm Dempsey, Roberts & Smith.

We applied for a home loan to reduce the interest rate when the bank said we had a delinquent. After inquiring, we learned it'd been medical ID Theft. We contacted our LegalShield law firm who write a letter and directed us to KROLL, Inc. After both did their due diligence, we received our loan.

I appreciate the privilege of having affordable access to a full service law firm in 49 States. I've used the service for my Will, for an issue with Fastrak, my cell phone company and questions about how to file my taxes as a new business owner. I insured a package I shipped to my client in Normal for $1400. USPS lost the shipment and after filing 2 claims they sent me a check for $60. I called my provider law firm and they wrote a letter on my behalf. After some time passed, I contacted USPS to see what's going on and customer care wasn't so caring. So I called my attorney, seeking legal advice. The attorney asked if I had contacted the lady that was on the letter for the legal department of USPS and I said "no." So I called her, explained the situation. LegalShield has been a big impact in my personal life. When I was first introduced to what LegalShield has to offer I didn't truly understand how powerful it was until I used it myself. It's not easy to go through the immigration process, but it's easier with LegalShield. Recently someone hijacked my Verizon mobile account and ordered 2 new phones and paid the bill with a stolen credit card. After spending almost 20 hours (this membership has taught me to document everything) on the phone trying to fix a mistake that was not mine, I found that "customer service" did not provide much service, and the adage "the customer is always right" does not apply. After calling my provider law firm and explaining my situation, they sent a letter to Verizon on my behalf, resulting in my receiving a call from a regional customer service manager who removed the fraudulent charges and credited my account an additional $160 for the time I spent trying to resolve this on my own. I had one of our lawyer's review a contract for me before I signed it. After promptly reviewing the contract, I was informed that on "page 2, paragraph 2, the grammar was incorrect." When I was told that by the lawyer, I first thought to myself; "I wasn't asking for a grammar checker." But then I realized how thorough of a review on the contract she did for me. And other than my regular very inexpensive monthly membership, I didn't have to pay for that review of that contract.

I have been a member of LegalShield 1998. I've used it many times and appreciate how simple yet effective it can be. I literally am on the phone with a top notch attorney within minutes. One of my favorite stories is about an enormous speed bump that was placed in my neighborhood. It was so huge that it scratched my brand new Mustang every time I went over it. After getting nowhere with the HOA president, my law firm, Merritt and Webb wrote one letter to the same HOA president who this time decided to help. LegalShield is an incredible service and was a tremendous help to us when we bought our home. When we bought our Dream Home, a problem with the title happened even after the escrow closed and we found out there was a lien on our property. I couldn't believe that after a title search and we were told we had a clear title, that a lien from the County in which the house sits surfaced. Yes, there was a lien, from the county, for an outstanding sewage bill against it. We did everything the way you're supposed to do and never dreamed we'd be faced with a legal situation.

Where else can a 29 year old go and get competent legal advice a farthing of the cost? I have used these services dozens of times not because I'm a criminal but because it helps me save money, make better informed decisions and keeps me productive at work. I can't tell you how lost I am when it comes to identity theft. I don't know where to start, how long it will take or the costs involved. I have been a LegalShield membership since 2004. I have used my membership over 100 times in the last 11 years from trivial things to traumatic situations. Recently I received a bill from my Home Owners Association stating that I owed an additional $395 to the association for extra fees I incurred. I knew this was not the case and contacted the Association only for them to tell me they were legitimate and I needed to pay them. I let them know that this was not the case and I wasn't going to pay them. Their response was, "Ok we will send you to collections then." We have had our legal & identity theft plans for over 5 years. Used it over 90 times in 16 different areas of law in 5 states so far. We especially make sure to use them to review multiple contracts before making a decision on which company to work with making us more informed and protected homeowners. A couple of years ago my husband purchased a CD based personal development program. There was an initial fee and then a monthly after that. The program was a year long. After listening to the first of the CDs I quickly discovered that the program was not worth the plastic on which it was stamped. I complained to the company to no avail.

Our Dish contract for TV is 8+ years old, but we added internet in October. It has not been usable due to the download speed being considerably less than our contract promised more often than not. I am so grateful that someone introduced me to this AMAZING service. Before becoming a member of LegalShield I had never used an attorney before. Recently my wife and I switched cellphone providers and the company that we left claimed that we broke a contract and as a result we had to pay $400 in early termination fees. The challenge we saw in this was that we never signed a contract. This prompted me to call customer care to resolve the unfair bill. We were told that when we upgraded our plan a new contract was implied and as a result we owed the fee. True to their word our next bill was for $441, the bulk of which was the cancellation fee.

I have owned my plan since the early 1990s. I have been greatly satisfied with the service and the customer service throughout that time. It has only gotten better each year I have owned it and remarkably so in the last few years. I am happy to report that was over 20 years ago and they have continued to keep their plans also. One daughter said she wouldn't even think of living without it and the other calls it her "Ace in the hole." In 2014, I received a letter in the mail regarding an increase in my rent to pay for lawn care. When I bought a used car in 2013 I thought I had made an OK purchase. But then the heated seats burnt through the seat, and I realized that 4 or 5 features noted in the ad for the car didn't exist, and that the headlights were two different colors (further finding that it had been in a collision, even though I was shown a 'clean' Carfax report), I thought I was stuck with my purchase. But one call to the my law firm and the situation I was in resulted in being able to return it and getting a better car elsewhere for a better deal, saving me about $5,000! About a year later I needed a part and ordered it online. It turned out to be defective and the company refunded the part cost, but I had to pay for the return shipping. In 2009 we had a family restaurant. We received a bill in the mail from a company that we had never heard of. I was very pleased with how the LegalShield law firm in Texas handled my lease review and follow up conversation. After a major storm, the rental office of the property I'd lived at for 10 years was now requiring all residents to secure renters insurance before the next lease renewal. Without proof of insurance, they would not renew the lease and gave a small window of time to move out. I've used my LegalShield membership a few times in connection with consumer complaints. One was with Sprint and another more recent one was with DirecTV. I spoke with a knowledgeable attorney the same day upon each issue (years apart). Both issues had to do with the companies not delivering on their service contracts. Upon the attorney reviewing the contracts (which were also reviewed by LegalShield at no charge at the point of agreement), letters were written to both companies demanding compliance. Sprint jumped right away to make things right whereas sadly, DirecTV didn't, so they lost my business for good. As a result of those LegalShield letters however, Sprint has never again questioned me regarding phone warranty replacements in the years since, and DirecTV did not bill me for the time period left in their contract, for they were made aware in writing that they were in violation of both it and the services contract on the receiver.

Arrived at the airport at 11am for a 1pm flight from Bloomington, IL through Denver to Las Vegas for our LegalShield National Convention last April. The flight was canceled until 3am the following day. We were handed a slip of paper with the airline's 800 number on it and told to make our own arrangements. My fellow associate and I drove to another airport and made other arrangements to get to Las Vegas.

I was having lunch when my provider firm responded to my initial call of approximately 2 hours earlier. I was told that I needed to speak to an attorney in Nevada since the matter required an attorney practicing in that state. Before I finished my lunch, a Nevada attorney called me which impressed me immensely.

Last year, LegalShield saved me over $1200 for a mess I got myself in just by writing one letter. I bought a laptop by getting a zero interest credit card for 18 months. Not trusting myself to be on time with my payments, I arranged to have my bank mail my checks out for me. I thought I was being smart, however, I forgot to mark my calendar for the 18 month mark when my rate would go up... I bought a Xbox 1 and it had a 14 day return policy. Came back and returned it at original store with receipts and original packaging. They said that the serial number box didn't match up with the receipt. 1 hour back and forth with the clerk I left with my Xbox 1 and I was furious. I called LegalShield, they provided me with doc reviews and sent a letter to the corporate office. Two days later I get a phone call from the store manager and they asked me to come back, get my full refund of +600 and also will include 50 dollar gift card for the inconvenience. I call that Legal Muscle!!!

I was a member for only three weeks when I made a purchase of two irons at a kiosk in a mall for $145. The irons stayed hot five minutes and left brown spots on a shirt. It was unwearable. I returned to the mall to get a refund. I was told no refunds, exchange for another iron. I had an issue back in 2005 rushing my brother to the emergency room. He had an allergic reaction and couldn't breathe. On the way I was pulled over by an officer who agreed to follow me. Upon having internet, satellite TV and private phone bundled I noticed our monthly bill didn't come down as promised and the prior satellite TV service was still listed on monthly bills. Several calls to the Customer Service Dept. resulted in no changes. Finally the utility asked if I had cancelled the prior TV service. I answered, "No, that was your responsibility since they were a vendor of yours and I was buying TV service from you". I called the prior TV service and asked for a $386 refund for services that were NOT USED, nor did I have their DVR for that service. That went on for past 6 months. They refused to refund these charges. I contacted LegalShield and their attorneys wrote a letter to the telephone company explaining the situation and a full refund was received 17 days later. Am I happy with LegalShield? You bet!
