I have been working with Lexington along with others to fix my credit this being the prime opportunity to straighten things out by the time PHEAA ends their deferment. As someone who reads credit on a daily basis and obtains extensive knowledge in the field I couldn't be happier with the work they have put in so far. I've always hesitated to reach out because people say they slow roll you, however they went right to work on a massive amount of cases for me.

I called Lexington Law on the 15th April 2020. The next day I called, was put on hold where NO human ever answered so I emailed cancelling my account with them. Charges weren't scheduled to come out until April 21. The reason I cancelled is I learned that a family member spent a bunch on money with them and they did NOTHING to help his credit. (He used Fortress who actually helped after his BAD experience with Lexington.) Lexington Law not only charged my credit card $129 but they also have ignored my 6 emails! This is NOT a reputable way to do business! I encourage ALL to go somewhere else!

Horrible company, total scam! Don’t fall for it!! I was paying this company for basically 2 years in hope of getting two issues on my report fixed and NOTHING! They kept on saying they were sending letters out and I never saw results, worst part is, their customer service is the worst, their so called paralegals try to wrap you around for you not to cancel your service by offering lower plans and offering you refunds as a “thank you for staying as our client” to later on automatically upgrade you to the most expensive plan and when you call to make a claim, their response is, "You have already been calling for discounts, we can’t refund your payment which is unauthorized by you to begin with," but keep in mind you are dealing with lawyers, don’t waste your time trying to fight them on how they stole from you!!

This is my personal experience and also know this is the case for some of my coworkers that never got any results, they will pretend they are working on your case. I personally have improved my credit organically by making on time payments and was a victim of this company keeping my money and disrespecting me when I tried to reach out to fix the issues. Shame on you Lexington law, how dare you say you’re here to help your clients!

They have accepted multiple payments to clear this credit issue up. They do not respond to requests. They are rude. They are vague. They hang up on you. This is exactly the kind of business that makes one feel scammed. They have multiple bad reviews online.

I have been working myself to repair and build my credit. However, I kept hitting snags, incorrect collection items that I could not get off my credit no matter what I tried. My son used Lexington Law two years ago and was singing their praised, but I am much more skeptical. I signed up, and saw results immediately. Lexington Law worked with me, immediately disputed all items in collections, and one by one, I received notification they had been removed. I was elated! This is a must have for anyone with bad credit, or just a few dings on their credit. The staff are polite, caring, knowledgeable and they work fast. There is an app I can use to see the progress as often as I like. They send emails with any changes to your credit report. Lexington Law is worth the money so if you are debating who to use, use Lexington Law for credit repair!

At the beginning they were doing a great job. Somewhere around 8 months things became slow, no or very little customer service help. When I would ask questions most of the time they were unable to answer them. They even went as far as one debt was removed but they were saying it was still on one of my credit reports. I pulled all 3 bureaus and it definitely was gone. In the end I think there was only one account left and they were bleeding me dry. So I fired them!

Hi I'm re-reviewing my review of Lexington Law. As I stated before I will go over it in 45 days. It has NOT been 45 days since I signed up, more like 2 weeks. I originally gave it 2 stars to start with because they were quick and informative. Now my concerns were that they will string me along for a long ride. Today I have noticed that they already sent out notices to both the 3 credit agencies and creditors. I have to say the app is easy to use and gives me peace of mind. I am upgrading my review to 4 stars and I am satisfied so far. I don't know if anything will be deleted but I was NOT promised anything and I know what they're up against. Between the low cost start-up fee and monthly payment options I feel confident I made the right decision. I hope my review will help the next person when making their decision. I held this off way too long. I should have did this long time ago.

I just signed up to these guys after doing all I can on my own. I managed alone to get myself over the 600 mark but I have two hospital bills that I need help with. I give them 2 stars to start with because they picked up quick and we got straight to the point. I will revisit this review in 60 days to update. Again 2 hospital bills on my priority list, 45 day max for a response from the creditors and another 15! Days for them to give me or SHOW me something on the app. Again I have done this myself and have had success in 31 days. So lets see what happens. Todays date Sat 07, 2020.

Everything you call you will be speaking to a new person that’s most likely in their house or somewhere in America. I’ve talking to college kids to middle age adults to retired people. Every one I’ve talked to has no clue of my case. I asked myself should our credit information be handled with care private? I canceled my subscription. I reached out to the credit bureau myself. I gotten more results in 45 day on my own. If you want be taken for a roller coaster ride. You are at the right place. (LexingtonLaw)

I've been sending out letters and disputing charges on my credit reports for some time. I got tired of doing it alone so I hired Lexington Law to step in and help. It's been one month now, and I haven't seen any results other than improvements I've made on my own. I received a letter twice that said the same thing, once when I first paid and once again before my next payment is due. Seems they stall progress to get more money from people. I read online they are being sued, and that put up red flags for me. If I haven't seen results soon, it's time to say bye-bye birdies. I know how long it takes to write a letter and I know how long it takes to get written letters back from credit bureaus once those letters are sent out. I know there is rules and regulations, but 1 month, and no results. Come on! I only hope soon that I do see results because right now I haven't got my money's worth and almost time for the next payment, which is about $250, which is costly, for no results.

I had a pretty decent experience with Lexington Law. It wasn't perfect, but after 8 months of using the service, I feel pleased with the outcome. First, here's where they didn't excel... The customer service on calls / chats seem to vary widely. Sometimes decent, oftentimes, pretty poor. It seemed that when I got to a manager the service was excellent. So, if you're having issues, talk to a manager. Also, it seemed like when they sent out letters disputing negative marks, my credit score would take a dip. This would FREAK ME OUT, but they seemed to be temporary.

Now, here's what they did well... It was worth the money for me. I used it for 8 months - enough time for them to send 1 round of disputes to all my creditors and monitor the impact. The result was a removal of 38% of my negative marks. This (plus paying off some credit card debt) resulted in a raise in over 100 points on my FICO score in less than a year. Additionally, their app / website were easy to use and fun to see the progress. Overall, the service isn't perfect, but I felt that they did right by me.

The only thing they offered me in return was a $50 credit! My score dropped over a hundred points. That was the second time I was taken by them. The first time I applied for a rent to own home and I was directed to them and was supposed to get a listing that I could get into right away as long as I worked with them. I never received any listings but got charged for the repair services. That as far as I’m concerned is a shady way to get customers!

Lexington Law seemed to drag things out to get more money since you pay monthly. In 10 months, they got one item off. Also, they don’t answer the phone. They recommended I call once a month after I complained how slow they were (60-120 days for follow up letters). I frequently waited 20-40 minutes to talk to a representative. Most were nice but the one I talked to when I closed my account blamed me for the issues. Horrible service!

I hired Lexington Law in 8/2019, to remove incorrect and negative items, specifically an auto loan that was no longer mine, per divorce documents. First two months, very little. Then, a few incorrect items were removed, but not the most important ones. I submitted supporting documents, spoke to several people, submitted the same documents, spoke to more people; still no progress on the key items. In January 2020, I became much more active and called every day on the status of my case. I did not speak to the same person twice, I got different information from every person I spoke to, and no one seemed to know what was going on with my case, every time I called.

Occasionally, I received conflicting information within a single call or online chat with a paralegal. I was placed on long holds every time. I finally had enough and reported them to the BBB. The next day, my service was cancelled. No effort on their part to fix the situation, investigate the problem, or help me, the customer. They just decided to be done with me. Don't use Lexington Law. Very poor business practices and are not focused on helping them customer, especially when the customer calls them out on bad service.

They are saying I’m late again on my payment and to avoid further collection pay now or March 22nd. They are just playing games again. I’m not even behind or late. I wouldn’t use them. Now I’m going to ask for a credit due to they don’t keep their word and trying to ruin my credit now with all this bs. I’ve only had this account for 3 weeks, and what a mess.

Original Review: I can say check the BBB reviews first. They totally tried to rip me off. Luckily caught them in time and cancelled service. First they charged me the 14.99 which I paid on time. They said I didn’t have the funds so they charged me a late fee of 19.95. Then my first payment of 129.99 was due 1/26/2020. They said it was due in the 17th which was due date for future payments. So now according to them I’m late on that too. I gave them proof and they removed the first 19.95. I have paper, emails stating everything, and then decided this company is a rip off scam of sorts. Those good ratings May be a bunch of BS. Don’t use them unless you want a huge hassle and to be out some money. So they got 14.99 and I’m paying the 129.00 for hardly anything. They really can help and I’m going to use them again due to some additional life changes. Keep in mind, you do have to allow up to a year for them to correct your credit. However, once you start to see results, you’ll see how many doors open for you with good credit. I highly recommend them and it’s a very smart investment. Compared to what I’ve run into within their same industry, they really don’t ask you to invest very much into changing your future if in fact they are going to “truly” repair your credit. They will fix your credit, seriously.

Where should I begin? About, 3 years ago I signed up with Lexington Law. In the first month, I had items removed, so, naturally I was excited. About, 2 months later - crickets - nothing happened. I called to cancel because, I couldn't afford to continue to pay a company that wasn't producing. After many conversations with paralegals over time and getting nowhere, I got one that provided me with more information in that 10 minute call, then I received in those 3 months I was with them. I still canceled.

Fast forward to September 2019. I decided that I still needed help and with the knowledge I had from that paralegal and years of research I felt I was more educated. I called Lexington and with some concern, I told the sales team what happened. Long story short, I signed up again. Within, the first 30 days (like before) I had 6 inquiries removed. (Really 2 from each credit bureau.) It's now 4 months and crickets again. Every time I call, they say, "It takes 30 to 60 days... We've sent this on your behalf..." Same routined response. (It's been well over 30 to 60 days.) I explained I spent $40 on notaries and uploaded them, as I was told.

After 2 weeks I realized I hadn't received any notifications. I called and the paralegal says, we just sent the letters now. I was pretty annoyed by this time. Why weren't they sent 2 weeks ago? She had no real response. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. It is now the second week of January. My last update from them on the portal was December 24th. I used to get emails updating their progress. Last email was about my payment. I had to sign up with the 3 credit bureaus just to see my scores. My scores are constantly fluctuating, with no help from them (it's all me). They give NO real advice or recommendations, which is ridiculous. I hired you to help me repair, teach me how to repair.

When you call, you're on hold for 20 minutes... EVERY TIME! I am done with Lexington. When you do finally get someone, they are rushing you off the phone. My payment is due in 5 days. I will not be renewing. I'm better off taking that $80 dollars and paying off my collection accounts and fixing my own credit. It's already stressful enough going through life with bad credit, getting the "no's" and the judgemental stares, and then wanting so bad to be ok, or accepted. You sign up with a company to help you through this sad stressful time, to only look up and feel you're being ignored (until payments due) that you're being taken advantage of because you're vulnerable and desperate. Please choose wisely, so your time and money isn't wasted.

Almost 6 months in and no major changes on my credit. I was fighting a negative file that was not mine on my credit for more than 4 months with no luck. So I decided to take a chance and called the creditors myself and surprisingly after 3 calls to all 3 credit bureaus I was able to get the negative items removed from my credit myself in less than 48 hours. Now after 2 weeks I was able to removed 3 more items and I'm disputing other items myself. It's amazing how they can just charge you money to do nothing. I have no knowledge and NO experience with this and I was able to remove 6 items in 2 weeks and in 6 months with LLF they remove 5 Items. Think before joining them and all I can say is stay away and try other credit services because I do not recommend them.

When you try to cancel, you are given options at a lower price until you are firm and tell them you no longer want the service and don't want a different plan. I expected to be charged in December, but then I was charged again in January without my knowledge.

I like most people want good credit. My goal was to find a company that would help me reach that goal. When I first signed up, I was very specific about the date I wanted the money deducted from my account. Of course, the person DID NOT LISTEN. My bank account was charged before I asked and it caused me to incur a fee. Well after calling and calling I got the issue resolved (unnecessary headache). I spoke to a supervisor and was lied to. The supervisor assured me that they would give me a 60.00 credit and said the next and only payment would be in December for 49.95. I prepaid the 49.95 because I didn't trust that the payment would be just that. Of course, they are now saying I owe the payment that was supposed to have been waived with a late fee.

I called in yet again to CANCEL and the women immediately signed me up for the Essential membership which is 59.95 even though I did not consent to it. While I was on the phone with the agent I got 2 confirmation emails that I had consented to the lower membership. I never said Yes at all. Even though they have had some items removed from my credit report, their business practices are shady!!! I refuse to give these people another dime until they listen. It's hard to trust these people. I feel the supervisor lied to me to about waiving my November payment just to keep me from cancelling.

I used Lexington Law in the past and they were great. Now they are pretty much the worst. I was under the impression I could freeze my account due to job loss. After charging me $109 for 3 months and pretty much getting nothing done, they charged me an extra $87 for “work done”. Makes no sense because I cancelled before the DUE-DATE and they did NO WORK! Also, it’s impossible to get help if you call, you’ll be on hold for an hour and no one will answer. They’ve made it really easy for me, in 2020, I’m going to one of their competitors instead.

I train brand new mortgage originators. Over the last 12 years I've referred more business to Lexington Law than I could ever track. I did so because, I used them in the past and had great luck, with little nonsense. I hired Lexington again personally, in November of 2019. It's now end of December. I needed a simple 30 day late removed. It's not done. I was willing to give it the 30 to 60 days, they estimated. I read the contract and understand I'm to be billed for work done. I'm seeing zero activity in my online profile since end of November. And those were only 2 simple form letters sent. Yet, they are billing me again for a much higher amount than I understood.

This looks like over billing for little amount of work done. And who the heck can understand their billing now anyway? STOP this Lexington Law! First I was charged 14.99. Then I was charged 39.99. Now, I was charged 89.99. I only hired them a month ago!! I had updated my original credit card in time for the payment. Yet they attempted the charge on my original card. When that 8999 didn't go through on my old card, they charged me 19.99 late fee! I inquired by email, I got a response that read, you have to change your credit card 3 to 4 days before the payment and if you change the credit card too often, whatever that means, it confuses the system and it goes back to the original card. I was reminded in that email that I would have a charge of 109.98 on January 7th! What the heck? Remember, only two form letters have been sent.

I then, began looking at their reviews online. Not good anymore. Looks like we all need to find another Law Firm, that can also review our billing versus work performed by Lexington Law. I will stop referring Lexington Law and will promptly cancel my service. Stay tuned to updates as to further billing when I try to cancel. I don't know what happened to them. But, they definitely are not in the glory days of old.

She checked my credit score and she informed me I would need to pay $14 today to gain their services, which is whatever and I was waiting for her to bring up pricing. I informed her that I didn't have that money in my account and she said to me "you don't have $14 in your account?" I was a little thrown off but whatever, right? I said no. She then went on to ask if I had overdraft protection on my checking account. I said yes. I'm assuming she wanted me to overdraw my account to pay for this service that I never wanted in the first place.

She then asked if I would just put the $14 on one of my credit cards that I just paid on. Your company is based around getting my credit score better and you're asking me to put more money on my cards!?! What? I told her I would rather not. She then proceeded to talk to me like I was dumb and a child. She went on a whole rant about how she knows I'm so interested in getting my credit better and how it would feel so awesome to walk into a room and ask for $500 and get it because my credit was better and how she can tell that I'm passionate about getting my business loan.

She was attempting to mind trick me into thinking I needed this service. I was over it. I said thanks but no. She was pretty rude and kept calling me "hun" which made me feel like she saw me as a child. She sounded like her and I could have been the same age. I’ve been waiting every single month for only few things to be taken off my credit. It’s almost Christmas or or let's just say Holidays season and I’m still stuck with this people in a bill. I have no money to buy my kids presents for Christmas because I’m paying my bills plus I’m paying Lexington law to fix my credit and it breaks my heart that even after having only few things in my credit they’re not able to fix it. It’s been four months and I’ve been waiting and waiting and they took something that wasn’t really affecting my credit.

It was agreed that it was late but I paid it off. I really wanted the Capital One and I was very clear that was my priority but did not do it. So please make it easy for the working people that are trying to survive and be aware of this trouble and please be more fast because in one of my accounts it’s been three months since I challenged been sent and nothing has happened. I’m just so sad and heartbroken and really don’t know what to do if I should just cancel or keep with the services but I can’t really afford to be doing this anymore longer.

Lexington Law should rename their company and change it to Lexington SCAM. They are a complete waste of time and lie straight through their damn teeth. They screwed me not once but twice. I will be completely honest and tell you they scammed me out of hundreds of dollars without my consent and when I asked for a refund they said they could not help but yet could not provide proficient evidence when I asked to provide proof of my consent. Please do not waste your time with them. They will steal your money and do nothing to help with your credit. I have reported them as fraud and whomever has experienced the same issues should do the same. WARNING. This company is a scam. I promise I am not the only one who has been through this with Lexington Law. They are full of **. If you want to be scammed do business with these crooks. Too easy. But read my review and think about it. I'm just saving your pockets and time.

Rated one star only because I couldn't give zero. I had the same experience as a lot of other customers. I called and spoke to a very nice representative who was more than happy to sign me up (for $14.99 for my credit report and $129 for the first month's fee). And like a lot of the other reviews I've read, I received the same quality of service. Nothing was removed from my credit report by Lexington Law - the ONLY items that were removed were because I disputed them through Credit Karma (but Lexington tried to take the credit).

I paid for 6 months of service, but never once received any updates on my case. I did, however, receive a letter that was supposed to go to one of my creditors. In the letter, it never mentioned that I had retained Lexington Law. As a matter of fact, it was addressed to the creditor IN MY NAME (which is why it was returned to me instead of Lexington when it was sent to the wrong address). I also noted the spelling and grammatical errors in the letter. If you're willing to spend this kind of money to clean up your credit, my advice is to hire someone local that you can actually speak to one on one.

I had some work done with this company. After a few months and NO MOVEMENT with any removals, so when I decided to stop services, I spoke with one of the rudest person EVER! I can’t believe that this person was a paralegal. This person sounded like a used car salesman. It’s my prerogative if I wish to continue service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They are GARBAGE and FAKE. I didn’t have much on my credit report but yet they wanted to try to keep my account active for several months. This is a SCAM company and I don’t recommend anyone wasting their money on this garbage company. It sounded as if they are a work from home business which means they don’t have an office. For the so-called work that they do, you can do yourself and get far better results.

This is a SCAM company. The idiot over the phone wanted to talk big as if he was someone, I wish I could meet him and he speak face to face with me! This is really a garbage company and they should have an F rating at the BBB but then again, they pay for their rating. This is a totally SCAM and garbage company. Don’t waste your time nor your money.

After reviewing companies for credit repair, I decided to call Lexington Law to explain my case and see if they could help. Upon calling I was greeted by a friendly salesperson who was very attentive. I expressed the fact that in addition to providing help with my credit, good customer service was paramount and I was hoping that the support would remain consistent with the experience I just had with her. The friendly salesperson falsely assured me that I would have access to my team of lawyers and paralegals to answer any questions I might have.... Two days in and it's like this is a completely different company. Once you sign up, you are assigned an account where you go online to answer questions about your credit.

As I am new to this, there are questions that I have and would like to speak to an actual person.. The toll free number that is provided on the site for support is never answered. I was on hold for over an hour each time I have called. They offer an email option once you log onto your account, but I don't think anyone even checks it. There is a chat feature, but I swear, it feels like the folks responding to it are all just reading a bunch of scripted responses, or it is bot. Something as delicate as your credit requires a much better customer service experience, especially given the fees that are charged.

This company is amount one of the higher prices but seems to offer low quality service, at least in regards to customer support. They might be good at what they do, but sadly, because of their lack on good customer service, many will never know. I really wanted to like this company and give them a chance, but am going to have to go back to the drawing board. I would not recommend them at all.

I researched the internet for the best company to help remove a $10k hit on my credit report. The actual amount was $4k that I owed. This would have been the perfect opportunity to let credit agencies know about the error which could result in removal. I initially stated the high priority status of this situation, however, they did not keep it as a priority. Over a month went by and I did not get any updates from Lexington. They kept telling me to wait. At that point they made my situation high priority (which really made no difference). At one point I called Lexington and asked them if I should contact the creditor and advise they have given an incorrect amount to the credit agencies, Lexington advised to go ahead and do so. This was a big mistake. The creditor then made the adjustment with the credit agencies to reflect the correct amount.

The problem with Lexington is that they are a large firm and when there are individual situations like mine that need proper and attention and follow ups they cannot deliver. If I had just one case manager working on my case (vs. a different agent every time I call) I think I would have gotten the result needed, and they would have advised me to not contact the creditor. For this reason Lexington does not follow up or make efforts to resolve in timely matters resulting in accumulated monthly fees.

When I signed up with Lexington Law, I read the reviews first, just to see that there was a mix of "satisfied" and "non satisfied" consumers. First I thought that the non satisfied ones were just over exaggerating, after signing up with Lexington Law, I see know, that they were not exaggerating. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4-5 STAR REVIEWS. Lexington Law is not a cheap service.

I contacted Lexington Law in hopes of removing some negative remarks from my credit report. The agent over the phone was very friendly, she definitely was able to convince me to sign up with them. Very good up-sell. I said to sign up for the BASIC plan, just to find out they were billing me for an "advanced". While she didn't claim my remarks would be removed instantly, she did say it shouldn't take too long because of how often my issue happens with other people. There were talks of refunds as well, but when I called several months later, they said they don't provide any sort of refund.

They kept saying, "Credit repair takes time, you have to be patient." After more than a year with no progress, how much more patient can a person get? When you ask to cancel your services they then offer to lower your monthly plan payment. AGAIN, I advise everyone reading these reports, do not believe all of the 5 star reviews. It is very rare to see someone actually receive help from this law firm. You will waste hundreds to thousands of dollars. I advise to get some better representation, even one that costs more but has better credibility.

I just set up the automatic payments and told them which ones were my highest concerns and they took care of the rest. I was busy searching for the house while they were working hard. By the time I found what I was looking for (close to two years searching) they were able to pull thorough just in the nick of time. Please be realistic though. Credit repair is a PROCESS and it does take time, but at no point did I feel they were dragging their feet. Every time I had a question they were always available and always had the answers I needed. Original Review: Oct. 2, 2019

I contact this company thinking they were going to help me. My credit was not bad, all I wanted was to raise my score a little more. I contacted them and only asked two questions. 1- Do I need to call you back once the month is over? He clearly said NO, the account will be automatically canceled after this month. 2- It's a one time payment? I do not want to be charged every month for something I do not need. He said, "Yes, You only need one month." After covering myself with this 2 question and trusting the guy who I was talking to, I made business with them. After a month I got charged $129 again because I didn't call to cancel the membership.

I was so frustrated when I heard this answer. I spent half an hour of my time asking these two questions not once, but multiple times to be covered in case something like that happened. And it happened. I call them asking for the manager to go over the conversation I had that day with the paralegal who sold me this program. They said they will listen to the recording and give a call in about 3 hours, but that if I chose to go that way and they found that they were right they would not return any of my money. I chose to move on with the conversation because I was sure I was right and they were committing an outrage and an injustice.

5 hours after I received a call from another lady, telling me that I was right but that at the end of the conversation with the foreigner paralegal (India accent) read to me the terms and conditions and that I said yes to everything. He read those terms and conditions so fast and with a very bad accent that I trust and said yes because I thought I was clear with my 2 questions at the beginning of my conversation. Can you believed this? I will just recommend people to look for another option. Not only the billing situation but my credit did not go up for this 2 months of payment.

I also paid the 14 dollar fee for pulling credit and my first month fee upfront at time of sign up. Later to be told I was lying. I paid half of the first month fee because of a veteran discount and paid 109 dollars each subsequent month. Now they're telling me I'm lying about this. The fact I was able to witness them dispute each thing on my report, where I did not have to do anything was a relief to me. I was able to rest again, re-assure it was being worked on. Got approved for new apartment, and small loan for a few thousand, because score went up to 638.

Felt good to be able to work with someone who really do care, so I got no complaints. I give them four stars, not five (only because one time it took 4 days to hear back from them, so that was too long). But after that when I call, I always got great feedback, and seeing "action" applied to what I needed done was paying off, as I was approved for apartment, a good one when I started removing things negative off credit report. Easier to do with a "real" good credit repair company. So I give them four stars.

I would like to say that I was very skeptical of anyone who said they could repair my credit. I was very stupid with credit at an early age. 20 years later, I am suffering because of my decisions. I hired Lexington Law about 7 months ago. My credit score (according to Credit Karma) was 516 with TransUnion, and 523 with Equifax. My credit score now is 632 with TransUnion and 650 with Equifax. Also, I now own a home for the first time in my life. They cannot remove everything from your credit. If you expect that, then you will not be happy. They send out letters to debtors and there is a required response time. If they don't respond in a timely manner, the item is removed from your credit. If they do respond, Lexington Law sends another, and then another. It takes time.

I didn't see my first credit score change until 45 days after signing up. I have been tremendously happy with the results. One of the most important things you can do if using their service is to help them! Don't start applying for new credit the first time your score goes up. Talk to your bank and get a secured line of credit. Try to have 3 open lines of credit, and NEVER be more than 29 days late on any payment. I you do this, your credit score WILL go up.

I have been on the Lexington Law Premier Plus plan at $129.95/mo for 12 months. My problem was I had one silly collection on my accounts (only $150!) from when I moved apartments and a service agent failed to correctly shut down my internet service. I was unaware it was still active and bills were still sent to the old place. Hence it went to collections and I got the only even slightly negative thing I've ever had on my report.

I was very quickly able to dispute and remove the item with Experian myself, but then life happened and I didn't get around to Transition or Equifax. A year ago I hired LL to remove it. In that time I have paid them a total of $1559.40 to date. It took at least six months for any action to be taken as far as I could tell. It seems (it's hard to really tell what they are doing) that they did send a letter to someone at some point a few months ago, but for the last two and a half months the status on my dashboard has been "analyzing response", which I take to mean they have received a letter and have spent the past 10 weeks thinking about what to do next while they keep getting $129.95 a month from me.

I did just have an online chat with a service agent who refuted the fact that I had successfully had the negative item removed with Experian, and said that nothing was happening because I had not "escalated" the case. I don't see anywhere in their dashboard where one can do this, nor is their anything in any of their emails. The chat agent said he would initiate this for me now "to be proactive". I strongly feel that for $129 per month being "proactive" should be part of the standard service.

At this point it is clear that they are not actually doing anything meaningful, and would be quite content to sit around twiddling their thumbs while receiving my monthly $129.95 for all of eternity. It was a bit of work, but ultimately possible enough for me to remove the item from Experian myself and it's clear that that is what I shall have to do for the other two agencies as well. Lexington Law are not willing or able to help, and ultimately are just here to drain money from people.

For $109.00 a month they claim they can remove negative items on your credit report faster than going through normal channels of communication with the actual credit reporting agencies. This is false if the items you are disputing are legitimate. You can call the credit reporting agencies direct and for free and they will investigate and remove any inaccuracies. Shame on you Lexington Law for being a predator of naive individuals who are under the assumption that you are trying to help. And to Jarom, extension #**, you should find a new job with a legitimate company. Upon contacting Transunion directly I was told that the information YOU gave me was false regarding a negative item on my report.

I called Lexington for a “Free Consultation.” The customer service agent was good and answered all of my questions. However, as the conversation progressed it was apparent that he was trying to sell me the service/product. When I had told him that I am still in the progress of deciding how to go about repairing my credit (paying the debt and resolving it myself, waiting to hear from other prospective companies) he got frustrated and annoyed as he said “I just spent like 30 minutes with you and it only takes 14.99 to start.” He went on “why are you in hinged, is it the 14.99? Because you are not going to be able to find a better company that will repair your credit for you. So what’s the name on the card, is it going to be visa, discover, Amex?”

He went to try to upsell and get me to enroll on board so that they can start my case, but as I said I am still in the early stages of making decisions. I did apologize and said I just need a moment to think and decide. If I had felt that I had wasted his time I would not have called had it not been the “Free Consultation.” I was seriously thinking about going with them to repair my credit, but after the phone call conversation that made me decide that I will definitely not work with them. Skip.

As many of you are already aware, Lexington Law is not a cheap service. I contacted Lexington Law in hopes of removing some negative remarks from my credit report. The agent over the phone was very friendly, she definitely was able to convince me to sign up with them. While she didn't claim my remarks would be removed instantly, she did say it shouldn't take too long because of how often my issue happens with other people. There were talks of refunds as well, but when I called several months later, they said they don't provide any sort of refund. The employee's mindset started changing over the months, whenever I would call the employees weren't as friendly, they weren't as promising, not as believable, not as hopeful.

They kept saying, "Credit repair takes time, you have to be patient." After more than a year with no progress, how much more patient can a person get? When you ask to cancel your services they then offer to lower your monthly plan payment. I spoke with an agent over the phone and I did not even bring this up, I asked, "What do you envision next with my case since nothing has been removed from a credit report in over a year." The agent himself told me, if he was in my shoes, he would cancel the services.

I really appreciate his honesty. I hope this does not get him in trouble, but if the line was recorded, then there is enough proof of how much the employees even believe in Lexington Law. I advise everyone reading these reports, do not believe all of the 5 star reviews. It is very rare to see someone actually receive help from this law firm. You will waste hundreds to thousands of dollars. I advise to get some better representation, even one that costs more but has better credibility.

I was a client for 17 months. It appears they just email automatic emails. I asked for one thing to be removed. They sent letters wanting them notorized the 1st time I wanted to cancel. They convinced me to stay 3 more months, I did. Still no results. They reduced my price to 12.95 for the additional 3 months. I have dealt with them long enough. If they could do anything or were working on the file (1 thing) SOMETHING SHOULD BE DIFFERENT after a year and half. I feel they found a way to make money off people and that's what they do, JUST DRAG ALONG as LONG AS THEY CAN.

Sent me an email stating I owe 16.95 for services because it's for a prior month and they automatically deduct from my account monthly. Also said if I didn't pay that amount they would send to collections. I cancelled in August and they got paid, so I don't understand what they want money for (and not the agreed amount). They have the power to get it, so I don't understand why they threatened me. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IS MY ADVICE. AGAIN, a year and a half working on one item (SUPPOSEDLY) EQUALS TO NO RESULTS FOR ME. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.

Took $500 only removed one item didn't even have my correct email! Please beware. The first time I tried to cancel they told me they were going to charge me another 150 bucks then they said they were going to change it and email me but never did because they didn't have the correct email address. The next time I called they didn't care that they didn't have the right email address where that they didn't cancel it and tried to threaten me again that they were going to charge me with more money!

I thought that it was canceled but just in case I even sent them an email directly from their link asking them to cancel so that it was in writing. Still didn't cancel and took money again. The third time finally after how many phone calls emails and messages she said it's canceled. I'm not even sure! Beware you will not get the results you want and can do it on your own through the credit agencies or Credit Karma for free. The one month I couldn't even buy groceries but they didn't care even though I'd ask them to cancel twice by then.

I would not recommend Lexington Law. I paid for their services for 10 months (which totals over $1000), and there were zero changes to my credit in this time period - no accounts changed, no negative items removed. I know everyone is different, but during my initial call they were "sure" they could help as I had old things on my record that had passed the time limit for being on my report, etc. They were not able to change a single thing; not even removing old records. Also, they misaddressed a letter to a creditor which was returned to me, and I read the letter, and it was written to my creditor with misspellings and incorrect grammar. Honestly, I am not surprised no creditor took it seriously. I cancelled my account after giving them an honest try.

If the creditor doesn't responsed the credit companies have to remove the info. These people wait and wait to dispute what you actually want disputed for the $$89 bucks they charge for a monthly fee. At 109 dollars a month they have done very little. In fact most of my removals were done by me paying the collections off. When I seen that they were counting my work as theirs I called to cancel my service. The lady told me to wait another month. That they were waiting on a few updates from creditors and if by next month I was not satisfied, I should call back to cancel. I waited and still nothing was falling off other than another charge off that I paid in full. I called to cancel and was talked into downgrading my service to 25 dollars a month. I looked at my bank account and guess what. 109 dollars taken out without warning or my permission. When I called it in an automated system that my next payment of 109 would be deducted in September. This is ridiculous. I will never use this company again.

I called and was only suppose to have a 25 dollar bill. Not continued 109 a month for them to claim the work I've been doing myself. The only reason I stayed with the lowest package is because the paralegal claimed they would monitor my credit with all 3 credit bureaus. I'm furious. If I didn't have the money in that account I would be screwed with overdraft fees. This company does a great job the first month or two and when they see there is not much more they can do for you, the payments keep coming but the work is little to none.

Gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed with them for a YEAR with no result. Was never resolved. Lexington’s communication was horrible. They never seemed to have a handle on the matter. Asked them multiple times to update me on what the next steps should be. Never happened. They simply sent the same letters over and over again. Asked to speak to an attorney, but that never happened either. Asked them to provide a refund, but they refused that as well. I would never recommend them. Beware.

Signed both my wife and I up for $240/month services to help improve our credit score. After 6 months neither of our scores improved... In fact mine decreased. I called and cancelled last month only to see new charges hit my credit card for another $240 a few days ago. When I called to dispute this, the paralegal talked over me and said my tone was not acceptable and hung up on me. Two things here: 1.) I never raised my voice nor did I get disrespectful. 2.) Since when does customer have to act professional, isn’t that a paralegal's job? In any case, I highly urge you to do your own due diligence to dispute late payments directly as Lexington Law is a complete waste of money and incredibly unprofessional.

They take your money, send forms out and then get to sit on their hands for months at a time (while providing no updates) and pass the guilt onto the part of the creditors' slow response rates. They're always trying to up sell their packages and the funny thing is, they "can't contact multiple bureaus unless you're on the highest package" which to provide some insight is only saying they'll work less and it'll take 2-3 longer. Until this morning, I was a client with Lexington Law for two months. I did not expect to see an improvement for my credit in that short amount of time. However, I also did not expect to be given NEGATIVE REMARKS on my credit reports due to the letters they sent to my creditors. The first time I called, the paralegal seemed confused and uncertain that their letter was the reason I was given a negative rating on my credit reports for my old Macy's account. She said it had to be for another reason because the letters that Lexington Law sends are brief letters asking for information and not to dispute anything. Then it just happened again yesterday with another creditor; Discover Bank submitted a negative report to my creditors because they said I disputed my account. I am extremely upset about my experience with this company as a result. The paralegal I first spoke to did not seem knowledgeable enough to allay my fears.

Updated on 07/21/2019: This is an update to my original review which is still open. I was contacted by a representative whose intention was to make me feel better about my experience. She sent me a copy of my file that shows the letter which was sent to the creditor. The letter completely misrepresented my case. In fact there was not one true statement in the letter about my case. It had to be a form letter that some flunky sent out. This has to be bordering on if not complete legal incompetence. Based on my experience I would not recommend this organization to represent your interests. If you are being represented by them I recommend you request a copy of your file for review. Buyer beware.

Original Review: Tried this service for 3 months. One late payment during a simple account change due to a auto pay glitch. I thought it would be an easy fix, Lexington Law also said it should be an easy fix. 3 months later they were still hemming and hawing over the credit agencies slow response. Nothing slow about charging your account though. Perhaps if you stay with them long enough they might get something done but the representatives on the phone did not instill that kind of confidence. They are very confident when signing you up though. Good luck if you give them a go.

Why should I still pay a final full payment? (Viewers) I cancelled today JULY 12. Per Paralegal, July 14, 2019 payment in full will still be drafted for previous service. Is this a joke! Okay, first of all... they did absolutely nothing for my fiancé and I. Hundreds of dollars spent later. Secondly, after cancellation, they continued to withdrawal money from our account. We were “oddly” unable to TAKE OUR CARD INFORMATION OFF OF THEIR WEBSITE. To make matters worse, our Lexington Law invoices and payment history on our account is MISSING the transactions that they are STILL taking to this very day out of my bank account. I have photo proof that this is going on. I have been charged 3 times after cancellation and it is not showing up on their website, yet is showing up on my bank statements and recent transactions UNDER THEIR NAME. They are disguising these fees and they are absolutely thieves. I managed to get a small refund from them after speaking to their customer service representative and literally the VERY NEXT DAY... they took it back out on top of an addition couple of dollars!

Are you kidding me?! I feel like getting my own attorney for their attorneys. Virtual robbery at it’s finest. If you do manage to have your credit repaired by them, it will take months. Some haven’t even had true repairs after having a 6 month subscription. That is insane and total BS. They are taking advantage of vulnerable people in the hole, marketing empty promises, and stealing their hard earned money. Please do not go to them.

We enrolled in this because we were with a terrible apartment that ended up sending a collector for ~$100. It ruined my perfect score. I enrolled with them for a year. 9 months in, they were able to get the credit score fixed for 1 of 3 credit bureaus. When we called to ask what's going on with the other 2 and why they weren't fixed, the lady said that we chose to not fix the other 2. How and why we chose those are beyond me. It's one of those things where I think they could have been clearer up front. Why would anyone want to only fix part of the problem? The lady then said to fix the other 2 at the same time, you can upgrade to this other package for ~$50 a month. I just lost it. You're telling me I lost a year and hundreds of dollars to fix 33% of the problem, and now you want me to pay double and waste another year?! WTF! I told her to just cancel after that. This company leaves me feeling so taken advantaged of and like I wasted a lot of time.

You can not get them on the phone, you can not ever get answers.. Really sometimes I went three months before I seen an update. I paid their top tier hoping things would work. There are so many smaller companies out there that still work with you individually and sometimes can get actual results. Nothing is guaranteed in the credit game but I recommend going to the second or third company on the list. They may actually work with you.

I signed up a few months ago to clear what a "paralegal" told me were charges from 2011 Fedloan delinquency. I was not making student loan payments at that time due to being in school. Because of this I opted with them to challenge the report as it can't be delinquent if I am not required to pay. After hundreds of $ and no progress, I called and was now told that the charges were reported in 2016, which makes them valid. I asked to cancel and they talked me into staying with them because I wouldn't get charged again until 2 months from that date. After contemplating staying with them a week I called up to cancel, which another "paralegal" told me different information yet again, and tried to get me to stay with Lexington.

After I confirmed cancellation (a week later not 2 months later) I was then told I would still be charged two months from now due to their "billing cycle". In summary they tell you what you want to hear and try to be over friendly to make you doubt your decision to leave them. The hundreds of dollars I spent was wasted and could have been utilized in other ways. The information from every "paralegal" will vary and sometimes contradict another's. Very disappointed.

They should change the name from Lexington Law to Lexington Credit Repair. They just send disputes like any other credit repair company, do not sue for FCRA violations, keep track of violations or file complaints or on your behalf. I stayed 8 months, had a total of 21 negatives, had a total of 6 deletions. A paid collection which appeared on all 3 reports which counted as 3 deletions, 1 collection on Experian that was almost 7 years old, a old repo on Experian (in all fairness that was a good clean deletion). Another huge collection from Equifax came off but only after I contacted Equifax about my concern. Other than that I received the same response from creditors each month with no results. Note (Dealing with Experian once they dispute a item they don't touch it again for 6 months.)

After 3-4 months there was no progress made besides sending in letters and I contacted to see how the outcome is looking. They just tell you open ended answers to keep you in monthly subscription. They just repeat same process over and over.

So today I have contacted for the last time to see if there was any other ways to get my credit fixed but yet again I got same response. But this time the online chat support rep Murph made me clear that i was wasting my time and money with Lexington. 100% copy paste responses with 0 intentions to help out customer on the frustrating process. They made a deal to not take any money from my bank account until a certain date. I get paid once a month & they agreed to NOT deduct 2 separate payments until after that date. They took it out early both times & cost me overdraft charges & daily costs for those overdrafts. When I spoke to Lexington they said that they did agree to those certain dates but because they gave me a "deal" I didn't have a right to complain. How do you feel right now reading that? They will do the same to you. I ignored the reviews I read and thought, "they won't do that to ME"....but they did! Stay away! Scam of a company. Decided to give it a try in October of 2018. First month went well. A few poor marks came off my credit and I was happy, around January of this year (2019) my credit was back to good. When I first signed up I called into their office and asked can I cancel at anytime and they stated yes. So mid-January I had called to cancel. Women on phone said sure. Asked for email confirmation... never got one. Thought that was weird but didn’t think too hard into it.

February 1 (my billing date) comes around. I check my cards and guess what 109$ charge from Lexington Law. So I call up again. They say I can’t cancel when it literally says on the site cancel at any time. Disputed the charge with my bank, but to this day and we're in June they are still charging my card which my bank is rejecting but they are literally still trying to charge it and don’t try to call them. They put you on hold for hours and hours and I literally mean like two hours. Long story short you can’t cancel. You're trapped if you sign with them.

My wife and I decided to use the services of Lexington Law starting in March. Unfortunately, after being assisted by them greatly, the monthly cost for service was too high for us at this point in time ($258 monthly, plus tax). As I called Lexington to cancel my services, I came in contact with a paralegal named Ashley. Everything went fine initially. Pleasantries were exchanged and personal information was given to access my account. The tone all changed with these 8 words: "Why are you cancelling your subscription with us?"

As I gave Ashley no reason for me wanting to cancel my services, she began to let me know that she wanted a reason. I told her I just wanted my services cancelled. Once again she asked me why I wanted to cancel my services. I said that I just wanted to cancel the services. She informed me that since I am so close to the finish line (I had one derogatory report-which Lexington had just sent a letter to the institution), then why cancel since they did so much for me. Once again, I said I wanted my services cancelled. Again Ashley wondered why am I cancelling when according to her, I had no valid reason. I began to laugh and once again state, I want to cancel the service.

At this point I've felt exasperated. Here I was three minutes later, talking to woman who refused to take no for an answer. I felt trapped. All I could do was in stating once again, that I wanted my services cancelled, was laugh. I thought back to how I used to go to those timeshare information sessions in Las Vegas where you spend a few hours listening to a sales pitch, just to get free slot play. Those sales people pressure you because they know, no sale-no pay. That thought faded as Ashley began her diatribe.

For about two minutes-which seemed like an eternity-Ashley began to admonish me on how she didn't think me laughing about the situation was appropriate and how we are two adults here. During this conversation and in rapid fire she referred to me as a child three times and mentioned something to the fact that she doesn't work on commission (I though she did). She just wanted to know the reason why I wanted to cancel my services and stated that she wasn't withholding cancelling it but wanted to know the reason why. I told her once again I just wanted to cancel my services (didn't I say that already) and said my laughing wasn't meant to insult, just an expression of not being granted of what I had a right to do.

Also, she said that she couldn't just push a button for the subscription to be cancelled and during that time she just wanted a reason. My mouth was agape. I wasn't upset, I was shocked! For a moment, it seemed like Ashley unleashed all of her pent up frustration on me and I took the place of whatever person or persons she had an issue with! I am just happy that I didn't stoop to her level and go back and forth. Just cancel my service, please.

Looking back, I should have told Ashley that the cost was too steep and I wanted to cancel and do the rest on my own for a while. However, I have a feeling that Ashley would once again be in my ear telling, me "That's not a good reason!". This was really a lose/lose situation. My wife and I were satisfied with Lexington, but the whole ordeal with Ashley is something I wouldn't want to wish on anyone! I guess I have a lot of growing up to do!

They told me it was removed then months later charged it WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Then they lied said they issued a refund to the card TWICE but didn't. They are a scam people. They do NOT honor what they say and run your cards like a petty con artist. Protect your identity. Don't give them your personal information.. They claimed to review my compliant but said they couldn't find any of the things promised. Yet all calls are recorded. They are trained to lie and your information is NOT safe in their hands.

My credit is not in any better of position than before I contracted them. They have not called my phone in over ten months to discuss anything about my case. BUT, when I decided to stop paying them due to lack of progress, which was a month ago, they have called my phone over 30 times. They have accessed a late fee to my account, and have made threats to worsen my credit. Please beware of this company. If you would like any intel on the progress feel free to email me. Updated on 05/20/2019: So I called and told them I wanted to cancel, there was no work being done, the app etc showed me that NOTHING was being done so I shouldn’t be charged. Then decided I would just extend the payment out a few days then pay it, they took money out of my account after agreeing NOT to until down the line. Now they didn’t expect me to notice clearly! So now I’m on another 2 hour hold waiting on someone to answer the phone! They will take your MONEY AND DO NOTHING FOR YOU! DO NOT BUY THIS SERVICE!

Updated on 05/17/2019: So I posted a review on 5/15/2019, just as horrible as ever, I’ve gotten an email after my review claiming they have sent 3 letters...I’ve been trying to call them for 3 days and my hold times has been at least 45 minutes or longer! No one to speak with as of now! I believe this is just one big scam at this point! I’m so ready to be done with them! Please do NOT buy services from them! You will get the run around after you sign up!

Original Review: I’ve been with Lexington Law less than a month, not one letter sent, and yet they are charging me in less than a week for services they have NOT completed! They say during the first call we will only charge if we are working. They are NOT working, so this is false information, very misleading! I’ve done some research and REALLY wish I would have done MORE before actually taking that first step with them! I’m on a very long hold at this moment trying to talk to someone else on what is going to happen. Most likely the other horrible reviews I’ve read will be pretty true once I’m done with this call, please don’t fail to believe those bad reviews because they are TRUE! Beware of the services offered!

I was a returning customer and currently very disappointed. I used them for a month for a $129.99/month fee. After the month passed I contacted them to let them know that I was laid off from my job and to cancel my account. Now they are claiming that I owe them $201 and threaten me to report my account to collection if I don't pay them, which I find ironic since I tried to used them to help me clear my credit and now they are threatening to do the opposite. I contacted them again to see why they are charging me so much even though I was supposed pay $129.99 per month and now my balance is somehow $201. They claimed because of late fees and other factors which no one previously told me about and besides I had already cancel my account.

In addition, none of the items I'd prioritized to be removed from my credit report were removed and remain there. They falsely tried to claim that they removed two negative items from my credit report but this is not true because those items I had already disputed through Credit Karma yet they were trying to take the credit for it. This company has changed from the first time I used their services. Furthermore, they refused to accommodate my request to lower the balance to $129.99 minus the $19.99 that they already took from my account. I agree to pay $129.99 per month and technically I had cancelled so they shouldn't have had charged my that $129.99 anyways.

Now they are charging me unexpected fees that I did not agreed to or was aware I was being charged. Also, I keep getting emails from my Capital One account saying that Lexington Law Firm is trying to take money out. They do this up three times per day, every 9 days or so. First, they attempted to take $129.00 but I didn't have the money so then they tried to take $79.99 and finally took $19.99 out of my account because that's all I had left. This is a scam since you can just dispute negative credit report items yourself through Credit Karma, or directly through Transunion, Equifax, or Experian. No need for this services, especially when the paralegals leave key details such as late fees, during the opening account process.

I won't used this service again ever, it is inefficient and I will advise for you to save your money and find different alternatives in order to repair your credit. This was a mistake on my behalf and I should had never contacted Lexington Law Firm because they did not helped me instead did the opposite and created left me with a greater debt and in addition threaten me to send my account to COLLECTIONS.

I paid $109 for 2 months and decided to cancel at the beginning of last month April 2019, when the young man who took my cancellation told me I would still be billed $40 even after I cancelled service. This company was not helpful. Was definitely a waste of time and money. Nothing seemed to really help my credit. My score was already in the 600s before service. The "per se" Top package was purchase. Monthly fee amount of 129. drafted for several months, only one removal. Remind you, after the one removal I received a email stating they would start moving aggressively on my behalf.

(Still one removal.) They were quick to call after my cancelled email. Paralegal attempted to negotiate by using her intellectual speaking, which was very aggressive. She accuse me of not utilizing higher service plan and attempt to offer lower plan with a month waiver. My accounting experience stated working in my mind. The offer was not a deal and Yes! I did utilize y'all site that came with my plan. This is how I determined to cancel my service. Based on monitoring site daily. I just didn't see where my service was quite being met, however it was a short time. Didn't want to spend any more money or waste time.

Can you believe after service did not met my expectations? I was told 73.63 would still need to be process for last payment. Between 200 and 400 dollars was given (estimate) and I still owe! (Only one removal.) My credit really didn't need a lot of work to be done. Status - Lost money and no credit improvement. Don’t waste your money. I am highly disappointed, heard great things from other peers with very bad credit and I didn't receive the same service and I had fair credit before service. Per Paralegal, "My integrity won't let me off phone until we better service you." (Integrity make you do right about people not fast talk or sucker punch.) Anyone who truly know me, Can say I live a life of integrity and honor my words. This is why I will allow last payment to be drafted, however service I received I am not in agreement. All is well.

During these 6 months, only 1 item was removed from my credit report despite there being quite a few (which is why I reached out to them in the first place). My credit score went up about 14 points. And I paid this company over $600. Not pleased with the return benefit. I was shocked because years ago when my husband and I were trying to buy our home he used this company and within 3 months he had several removals and his score went up over 100 points! He said he never had to do anything. And here I am, taking photos of letters with the wrong address. What a waste.

I had been with Lexington Law for just over 3 months. During that time, I paid down my credit accounts and did nothing, (that I am aware of), that would have adversely affected my credit score but instead of increasing, it dropped since signing up for their services. When I questioned this, I got an answer that I could have easily came up with myself, "there are many factors, etc." Yeah, no kidding. Anyways, they showed 4 items being removed from my reports, yet I only could find 2. Those 2 items were removed after I personally called those creditors and discussed it with them.

I am very disappointed in the service and, most importantly, the results their services have provided after more than 3 months. I not only feel I had been taken advantage of but feel like I am part of a much larger group of people who have had a few unfortunate things occur that have put us in this position only to have a "business" like theirs take advantage of our situations. I have cancelled my account and will spend much of my time leaving appropriate reviews on the various sites that I used to decide to join their services in the first place. I will also notify the appropriate organizations in the state of Massachusetts that buyers should be very wary of Lexington Law.

I attempted to contact the negative companies on my credit report to fix things for two years. No luck. I signed with Lexington law and after almost a year some were removed but my score stayed close to the same. I left them for over a year and decided to give it another try for the last three. They sent out their usual letters and I received the usual inconclusive letters back. One said they were not sure what was being asked of them.

I contacted Law about this. They told me to email them copies of the letters I received. I did. Month after month when I receive duplicate responses from the companies. Clearly, a nonproductive attempt on Lex Law part. I again contacted them, this time by phone regarding the situation. They said they would go the next step to elevate the attempt to remove the negative from my credit report after I sent back to them a notarized letter of what they would send me. Now, my score has gone down about 50 pts since all this has been going on without any new negative activity on my part. Any explanations?

I was looking to refinance a car and was referred to Lexington Law and as soon as the guy gets on, I explain to him I wasn't interested in his services. He goes on to say "she seems like she is on another planet..." Geesh wooeese or however you spell that. I tell him back, "You seem very rude" and hang up my call. I'd not recommend this company if you want very rude people responding to you. He could have said nicely back, "I understand if you arent interested but if you have interest in the future, please let us know," but instead he was very rude to me instead. No very professional service...

Horrible experience, tried them twice. They kept soliciting me, and have them another chance for nothing except take my money again. Paid 129 for about 4 months and did nothing except dispute things that I had told them not to dispute and prolong time to keep milking your bank account. First time they took 60-80 for a whole year and had no results, no changes except my bank account getting smaller. Always telling you it will take some time. A lot of BS! Make PROMISES they don't keep to take your money. Once I did it myself I fixed my credit in 3 months and raised my score almost 105 points, enough for me to buy a car. You can Fix your own credit without having company like Lexington Law drain your bank account. If I could give them a negative 5 star I would, they don't deserve one star. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, RUN!!!

Not only have they repaired a ton on my credit and help me constantly to improve my credit score and information I did not know about how to do things also, but my sister signed up also and went from a very low score to almost 700 score within a couple of months! This company is just amazing and that is not something I would say lightly. Not sure about anyone else, of course, but they helped us!

Signed up for their services. They dispute good accounts that have no issues to prolong your subscription, not very ethical in my opinion. Had a financial emergency and called to cancel. They talked me into suspending for a month, for which I would not be charged, so I did. Then called to cancel, was told I would be charged for the suspended month as well. Nothing like a lying cheat. Have contacted my bank to dispute charge. Anywhere I see their ads will contact the site owner and let them know what kind of organization they are selling ad space to, not that is will matter but will make me feel better.

The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that after a year of no movement at all they continued to charge me with no feedback. They did raise my score by 100 initially and I was thrilled but when nothing else could be done, they just continued to send letters and charge me monthly. When I called to cancel even the agent noticed the lack of anything and agreed I should close. I will recommend this company but will suggest you keep an eye on the progress, be patient, and know when there is nothing more that can be done, cause they won't tell you.

Horrible company. Yes they submitted info to dispute items on my credit however when I was trying to cancel they did not respond to me until after they took more of my money. Nearly a month later. I basically was charged $230 for them to write 6 notices and send them off. I'm told 109 was getting the info together then 109 to send it not to mention 15 to open the case.
