I had an LLC that I wanted to start. I went online on LegalZoom and I did my name, the name of my LLC, and a registered agent. All that was really easy. But I put “Corporation” at the end of the name that I chose and I'm not a corporation. I didn't know that, so they explained it to me. Now I know what is the difference between a corporation and an LLC, and I was able to change my name to something else that I liked. Aside from that, I have everything in one spot at LegalZoom. I'm able to log in and check things out. And if anything happens, they call and let me know. I've been having LegalZoom for a couple months now and I plan on to keep using them. I’m planning to start another DBA soon and I'll use LegalZoom for that.

LegalZoom was very helpful. I told my friend, "They did everything and pretty much, I just had to pay, and they filled out all the paperwork. And they went and checked if the name I had was already taken, and all of that." They did a lot of the legwork.

My experience with LegalZoom has been all right so far. The only issue is the whole checking account offered at Bank of America hasn't been working.

Everything with LegalZoom was smooth and was great. My experience was fast and to the point. Communication was easy if I needed to get in contact with anyone. Go with LegalZoom because it's not a lot of hassle where you got to go downtown. You could do things right on the computer from your home.

The process was time-consuming. It took longer than I feel was necessary due to the back and forth and LegalZoom needing extra information. It would have been better if everything was done over the phone the first time and they could have asked me all the questions or information they needed. I could have had that within a week instead of going back and forth with email. I got one rep that I wasn't very pleased with but other than that, everything was good.

I redid my will and power of attorney. The only thing is that I was a little frustrated with was that I had to make a change to a document, and I did it wrong, then I got charged another $19 for that. I thought it was free, but I don't think it was. Other than that, the documents were perfectly good. The person I talked to was fine. I used LegalZoom the first time around and I've never had any problems. It's a perfectly legitimate way to do legal documents and ends up saving money than from having to go through a lawyer.

I had LegalZoom file a copyright for me, a DBA for one business and an LLC for another. It was all online and it was easy. I had an issue with the copyright and they were able to talk me through the problem. LegalZoom takes something off my plate. I'm gonna keep using them as the need arises.

The process to set up my LLC was very simple. I completed it in about 30 minutes one evening with some friends. Tech support is very helpful. My friends thought it would be done in less than a week. But since the pandemic started nothing happens in one week. It was still under 2 weeks which is great considering they are dealing with government agencies.

I had several questions while completing the registration form and spoke with LegalZoom customer service personnel, all of whom were very helpful. The entire process of creating a LLC corporation for the first time on the LegalZoom website was quite simple and reasonably priced.

I used LegalZoom to start a company, just filing for LLC. When I first did this one, it gave me a price of 600, which I thought included the first year of the registered agents. But that was a separate fee that came later, which I did not expect. That was something that I didn't like. I don't remember doing that before. I don't know if that was just a mistake, or if that's just something new they are doing. I've been using them since 2015.

LegalZoom is great. They noticed that I applied for something. They went ahead, called me and asked me if that was me that applied for it. My credit is also in good standing. So I'm happy about that. They also went ahead and got a lot of negative remarks removed from my check, like Equifax. They're doing what they're supposed to do. I really like them.

My brother had opened up his company last year and he was telling me that he went through LegalZoom and it was easy. So, I took his recommendation. The only thing that was a little bit of a hiccup was having to change the name. I selected about five different names. With the first name that I’ve submitted, I got an email statement from them saying, "Congratulations, you're on the way." So, I thought the name was approved. I ended up getting a check cut in that name and that company's name. Then when I went to open my account and I had to change the company name, the check was not good anymore. I had to get my contractor to reissue a check. Once we got past that, everything was good.

LegalZoom is very helpful to me. It helped me understand as far as me being a beginner and starting this business. It's actually my third business, but as an older person understanding what I'm doing on at this age, LegalZoom is giving me a clear understanding on how this worked. My friend who referred me to use LegalZoom also walked me through the process, but everything was pretty simple. What I had to do was just open the account. I went online. I already had my box truck. I was already in business. It's just I needed to get my paperwork done. So, I was doing it on the side and I was making it legit.

I have a competitor who is advertising under my company name. Even some of my customers are thinking they're clicking on me, and they're clicking on my competitor. I reached out to LegalZoom and we're trademarking the name. The experience was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be. I haven't fully paid for the trademark yet because the cost was a little staggering, but they were trying to work with it.

I get good customer service from LegalZoom. Everything's on a nice platform that I can just look at it instantly, whenever I want. If I have a problem, I'll talk to them over the phone.

I opened up an office, and I opened up an account with LegalZoom. The process took a week and it was not that difficult.

I recently got LegalZoom. Their representatives are very friendly. You should look the company up and do your research. You'd probably end up dealing with LegalZoom, too.

I saw someone else starting a business, they told me where to go, and I filled the information out. I did LLC, will and trust. The main thing that I didn't like was the long wait. But everything is good with LegalZoom. I like them. I feel secure about my assets knowing that LegalZoom is going to help me out with my LLC.

I found LegalZoom on the internet while looking through the LLC program. I started with them and I'm still getting some of the personal understanding of how this stuff works on the business end but there are a few things I like. So far, everything was pretty good. They are very fast. They call me almost every time when needed to be. That's pretty good with the business on that end and with the lawyer behind that. I like that. Everything that they're doing right now is up-to-date with me. They're always inboxing me with new stuff going on and on ways I can benefit with the business that I have.

I've been using LegalZoom for a lot of years now, mostly for power of attorney and preparation of wills. It's easy to log in and get everything that you need in a few seconds. Very convenient.

I used LegalZoom for a will several years ago, and then when I wanted to update it, I came back. The process was fairly easy. I was satisfied.

I needed a living will and the process was fairly comprehensive. It could have been better, but I was satisfied at this point. I needed to have documents drawn up, so it was fine. I've reviewed the documents, and I’m waiting on getting witnesses and notarize some documents.

I'm still in the process of doing some things through LegalZoom and I gotta make two payments to catch back up, but other than that, I haven't really had a problem with them at all. The service is good.

I thought it would take a week but they got me all set up in about two days. LegalZoom was just one of those things that you hear about because of cultural consciousness. They are sort of the online go-to for legal consultation. But I needed to start a business, and they were the easiest top-of-mind option. I realized it was the most civically responsible for me to put together an LLC, so I could contract out that LLC for services. I was working full time as a producer until February, and then realized that if I would go independently, I needed to put a business together. However, LegalZoom could make changes to make their website better. Sometimes needing to find documents feels cumbersome, or if there were FAQs or a chat function, those might be helpful. Other than that, the process was easy and reliable.

I used them for LLC creation. The process was pretty straightforward. It didn't take too long. They walked me through the process on the website. The information was pretty easy to find in the website. The service was inclusive of the services that I needed to get the LLC documented and all the filings created.

The software has some surprising bugs in it. The question about who the spouse is and who the child is gets reversed when the will is made. It had to be fixed on both my will and my wife's will, same exact problem, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't operator error. The software gets three stars, but the agent on the phone, Carmen, gets five stars, making an overall four stars.

Andrea is definitely the kind of person that I like to handle ALL my business correspondence. Her professionalism is not something that happens on daily basis. Andrea took the time to make sure every aspect of my business needs were completed.

It seemed like LegalZoom made everything pretty easy. I used them for their LLC service. The process was quick and easy. It took somewhere between four to six weeks. They kept me posted on everything that was going on as soon as it was getting done. One benefit of working with LegalZoom was I didn't really have to do anything. I stayed working and they handled all the paperwork. It was good.

I used the patent service and the process was very simple. I tried to do it by myself but because of the pandemic, a lot of offices were closed and I had no idea what to do. So it was really nice to find an affordable option for someone to do it for me so it's correct and I don't have to file it multiple times. It also saves money that way. This is just a provisional patent but in case I wanna file an actual patent, then I'll probably use the same service with LegalZoom because it seemed fine.

I call whenever I need help with something and LegalZoom has been helpful.

It is always difficult to have to close your business. There are always little to large frustrations. One thing you don't need are headaches in the final paperwork required by the government. In those final stages Legal Zoom, and particularly their agent (**) took both the company's protocols and my position into account, finding solutions that made those final steps painless. I highly recommend their services from beginning to end.

I ordered the Estate Plan Bundle, but it turned out this plan would not work for my situation. By using their phone service, I was able to get a refund for the portion I didn't need, and an agent helped me to complete one form I wanted to keep. Great job!

I got the LLC package with LegalZoom and there were a lot of different things that came with it that I admired. I liked some of the 24/7 help, the legal advice, the EIN number, and registering the business without having to talk to anybody. They also connected me straight to Bank of America for a business account, which was very helpful. They just put everything in one space and everything was pretty smooth and speedy. I've had plenty of follow-up calls, making sure everything was fine, and I appreciate all of that. Then, I got a package in the mail with everything in their physical form, which was really nice too.

Everything seemed to be okay. But maybe I misunderstood how the whole process went. They sent me an email that said something else needed to be done. But I haven't been able to do that just yet.

I would never use LegalZoom again. It was a big mistake. I was on hold for an hour and a half. Then I got disconnected. I called back days in a row. They were supposed to get back to me. They never did. I had nothing but trouble with them. I should’ve just gone and got the tax ID number myself in 10 minutes. With the IRS, it would’ve been a whole 20 minutes. I could have done the corporation myself and it would have been so much easier. I went through nothing but heartache and trouble with these people. It was a phone room with a whole bunch of people answering the phone all over the United States and they weren't getting the messages to the superiors to get back to people who are having trouble.

The process was smooth and straightforward. The reps were always willing to help, and they helped my problem whenever I reached out to them. They resolved the issue that I had very fast. And the whole process to set up my business took a few days. The benefit is ease of mind. I didn't know much about registering LLCs, so LegalZoom helped me with that. They offer agent services too that I can use for my business, which is great. Go ahead and use their service. It's a great platform to use to register your business.

My friend used LegalZoom for her business and had a good experience with them. It was more beneficial for me to just go ahead and work with them. Signing up was fairly easy. There was some stuff I really didn't understand a whole lot but I was able to navigate their website and get through it pretty easily. I did the LLC and the attorney portion as well. I pay a monthly fee for the service.

Doing the LLC with LegalZoom was easy. They are guiding me through it. I work from home and I’m looking for a space. I'm like building that from scratch. So far, it's a great thing to do with the LLC. I already told my friends that they should get LegalZoom because it will benefit them.

I've had no issues with using the power of attorney and the only thing that I had to do is get it notarized, and I like that. I will use LegalZoom to continue my legal document requirements.

When I didn't fill something out properly, they gave me a call just to make sure that how I filled something out was the way that I wanted it to be. It was a very pleasant experience. The service was exactly what I was looking for. Going through LegalZoom was an economical way to get the services that I asked for rather than going through a private attorney to get what I wanted to get done. I did have some people take a look at the documentation that was provided by LegalZoom, and everything was exactly the way that an attorney would do it for a fraction of the cost.

After my own investigation and continued email, chats and phone call I was able to make some progress after nearly 90 days of filing my paperwork with Legal Zoom. Somewhere someone dropped the ball either state or legal zoom but either way a rep from legal zoom should follow up on these types of matters after a said amount of time so customers don't have to wait or look up the info from their state and then contact legal zoom to get the ball rolling. They compensated me $100 and rushed my EIN but have yet to receive any other paperwork at this point so we will see how that goes.

The experience with LegalZoom was great when I set up the paperwork. It's a really good service, especially when you have someone that's in the hospital. It's convenient.

I've used LegalZoom for a few years for different things. I used them recently for a patent filing. It was pretty straightforward. One of the attorneys they contract with contacted me and laid out the process for me. She was courteous and responsive. We communicated back and forth until it was all finished. There was some work done on the website and a little bit on the phone, but a lot was on the email. The cost is pretty good and their response is pretty fast. So, for basic legal services, LegalZoom seems to be a good option.

A family member got a package, and got their business set up through LegalZoom. And I liked the presentation. I set up a nonprofit corporation. It was easy online. It was very easy to follow the steps and put in the information requested if you understood what the information was. I had questions about different parts of the process. I understand it's COVID. Things are not flowing as easy. But it was not easy to get someone on the line. It was a very difficult process, and I had to wait a long time, on hold for more than 10 minutes. But I wanna see how it plays out.

LegalZoom on that solved all the problems that I had. LegalZoom can help you start a business.

I wanted to get my business going and I know that LegalZoom is a reliable source. I wated to get my business set up the right way, and I figured they would help me get that going. I can go and get what I needed whenever possible. They should just keep being available. Hopefully, I could keep figuring out what I need to do and go to them when I need it.

I needed some legal documents. I got the service of LegalZoom and I felt better that it was taken care of and I didn't have to really do much. However, they messed up on a deeds request. They used a third party, GOdeeds.com and their process of getting that document out never happened. So I ended up having to get a refund on that one document. It wasted a lot of time and effort. I had to go back and forth many times. It was really cumbersome.

I called the customer service number to get more information about trademark services and I was quickly transferred to a real person who was extremely helpful and followed up with me. It was the best real service I’ve gotten from an online company in years.

LegalZoom's name was highly respected. In August, I had reached out and did a power of attorney for my mom. I had no issues when I had to present the power of attorney for my mom to insurance companies and banks. I also just did last will and testament. I made some revisions, and then it wasn't easy to find the revised will. It would be nice if they could rename it like Will 1, or A, 1A, 1B.

I applied with LegalZoom in January and I barely got my paperwork this month. It said on LegalZoom that I would have gotten my paperwork in 30 days. But it took me four months to get it and they said that they had it on hold for a while. The good thing was that LegalZoom picked up the phone when I needed them and worked out with stuff with me. But I paid good money for that stuff to make it quicker, and that didn’t help me out. Overall, LegalZoom is good with communication but the paperwork is a process.

Everything went smooth. I got the LLC and the EIN. They added a bunch of stuff that I didn't really want, but I didn’t pay for it. I called them and asked what all these other things were. They said if I didn’t pay them, I’d be put in collection. That was not good. So I need to call them and cancel that stuff.

I was very pleased with the information that I received from the agent at LegalZoom. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, and super friendly. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I will most definitely make referrals to Legal Zoom, because of my positive experience with them. I am very grateful and I thank them, and will definitely use them again.

I just had a quick question, so I wish I could have spoken to someone sooner. But the advice was really good. The service was super helpful.

I filled out whatever LegalZoom wanted me to and paid them. It took a while to get my LLC and it was very expensive. But as far as getting a loan from the Bank of America, which I used, they don't do that. Other than that, just to get my LLC and my EIN, LegalZoom worked good.

Anytime I’ve ever dealt with LegalZoom just recently as well as in the past a few years ago, they’ve always been kind and patient with the entire process. I’ve always had several questions and they answer them thoroughly and have always made me very comfortable as a customer.

I was already using LegalZoom for a previous company that I opened and that explains why I went back. They're very helpful. If I need to contact them, they get back with me within a reasonable time. They're reliable and reasonably inexpensive compared to others.

Using LegalZoom, I have guidance like the options with the lawyers and convenience of having someone else being able to do everything instead of me trying to do it myself. To do it the right way, I still make mistakes. When I had initially signed up, things kinda got off track. My information was sent in too early to the state. We had to cancel then do it all over again. But they finally corrected it and gave me a refund back. I canceled my service with LegalZoom but I'm thinking about coming back and restarting everything all over again. For the new company that I'm starting, I'm gonna use LegalZoom for the registered agent instead of me.

I didn't know the process to set up my business information because I was new to that and Legalzoom was very helpful for me. Everything was super quick. Within days, I got phone calls and contacts. It was also nice because you could find everything online with the descriptions and the information.

I spoke to a few representatives and they were all very nice and professional. They kept in touch as well. I really enjoyed the experience.

Both Shak and Michael were completely professional and kind. They both helped me with everything that was needed. Shak assisted with correcting my LLC’s address and offered his time if I had any more questions. We printed a contract for an operating agreement through LegalZoom. We just used the website and it was pretty easy. The operating agreement helped us open up a bank account. It was a great service overall.

LegalZoom offers a straightforward package that you just complete. It's also affordable and there's always a customer rep you can reach out to. I've spoken with customer reps and one of the good things is they have something where you could call an attorney if you had additional questions that you weren't sure of. Speaking with the attorney was helpful.

I originally went with a less expensive ($50.00 savings) company and it was such a mess that I ended up cancelling my service with them and going with LegalZoom. I could not be happier. They got me all my documents earlier than promised and their website was great for me to keep track of the process. This is a great company and I’m happy I went with them!

I can't speak for everyone else but the experience we had was Amazing. The gentleman we spoke with was patient with us and took the time to answer ALL of our questions. The only way to get my documents from LegalZoom is from the app. I went to the website, and it doesn't give me that option, so I do not have any hard copies of any of my paperwork.

I have had to wait 2-3 hours for call-backs from customer service, then you wait a while longer for someone to actually come on the line. I applied for processing of a non-profit application. It sat for a while because LegalZoom was waiting for additional information from me, except no one told me. Then I waited for weeks for an EIN number. I finally ordered it myself (it comes instantly if you order it from the IRS online!) and cancelled that order. I called to get a refund and got connected right away that time only probably because I called the Sales Dept. I am still waiting for the articles that they sent to the State. I guess I need to call the State and handle that one myself as well. The phone representatives are all very polite. But, obviously something is seriously wrong.

LegalZoom has been good, so far. I still have something pending as far as a DBA for Ravenworks Digital. Other than that, I've been happy.

LegalZoom is convenient if you don't know anything about starting a business but it's a bit expensive. If I took more time, I could have figured it out myself. At one point, I had sent my form to them and never got any sort of verification from their office that it was received. That was a little frustrating. I had to email them about it and they did have it. Other than that, the experience was fine for the most part.

We did some work with LegalZoom and it was a good experience. There was a 40.99 charge every month. We didn't know why but it was probably to maintain our account. We canceled that one and we will come back for another documents if we need. I would tell others to work with LegalZoom because the prices are better and you're gonna get the same results at the end if you go to an attorney's office. It's probably much faster with LegalZoom than the regular face-to-face attorney, too.

It was really easy to use LegalZoom. I just had to get a federal ID and everything else with the LLC process was handled.

Navigating the website was pretty straightforward. If you're already looking for that type of information, you can make LegalZoom work for you. But you should have enough knowledge to be able to make it work or find the contract that you need and to figure out how to make sure that it's airtight and legal.

I was able to investigate as soon as possible about my order I recently placed regarding my non-profit state filing. Agent was all togetherly helpful and informative and presented proper knowledge with assisting me with my current order status and I'm happy it's filed and almost complete.

There was an issue with my account that came up when I called on my renewal to check on the card number to use for this charge. A few years ago I switched to a two year renewal and that is when the billing got messed up. I was not aware of this until I spoke to an outstanding agent, Christina **, who spent several weeks working with me to get this sorted out. She went above and beyond what most people would do to help resolve this issue. She kept me apprised of everything and we spoke on the phone a few times as well. I could not have had a better agent to help me get this resolved.

I just needed to fill out the general questionnaire on LegalZoom and then I had to apply for state unemployment, but that wasn’t terrible. It was really nice. I didn't have to worry about anything.

I followed LegalZoom's process and it was pretty simple and self-explanatory. I had to open a bank account to link with the LLC. I also had to advertise the LLC. Then the rest of it was just paperwork through LegalZoom. They had one of their legal staff contact me to run through some of the things and it was helpful. But it would save me some time if they had a package where they advertised the LLC for us. It was kind of a pain in the butt, researching what newspapers and stuff like that.

I like LegalZoom. Unfortunately, they are understaffed at their customer service center, which results in long wait times to speak with a Rep. When you get through, the staff is great! This and email bounces due to a "Mailbox Full" are just annoying and add to the time it takes to resolve a problem. I looked for a customer comment link on their website and there was none -- again, really annoying to a customer.

Legal Zoom has been very great during the entire process. They asked all the right questions and helped me to decide what was best for my business. I chose them because of the great things I've heard about them. They even offer installment payments for those who may not have all of the funds upfront. It's a win, win situation! I did a phone call with one of the LegalZoom representatives and they walked me through every step of the process of getting an LLC. So, it was more of what they did to help get it going for us. The rep made it sound like we could get ahold of her if we had any questions but when we tried to call back, no one ever answered. We had a little bit of trouble getting the names situated and getting it to go through. I thought that the rep was gonna be our go-to person but in reality, that was not how it was. Other than that, it was great. The time frame was okay because I wasn't in a hurry.

A business partner of mine told me that my best route is to go with LegalZoom and get my LLC. I had to get my EIN from the state and that was all I did. It was a pretty simple and easy process. It didn't take a whole lot of time to get the LLC. I did it in January and got it in March. Being with COVID and everything going on, it was in a timely manner.

I used their package to get the business license, the agreement, and then getting the business registered with the state. The process was very simple and straightforward. In the package, LegalZoom said I could get the business license with it and then they used a third party. The guy I spoke with was Matt and he kept reaching out to me through email saying to contact him to get my business license. But then when I ended up calling his office, he never really answered. So I paid for it, but I'm not really sure if I actually got the business license yet or if it was included. But other than that, the process was good. It was super easy to use and it was like they do everything legally, and they kind of make the process a lot easier on me as a business owner. It's been really nice not to have to go through the whole online process with the state trying to register because sometimes it can be a little time-consuming. So it was nice to have somebody to do it for me.

LegalZoom is helpful in a way. They pretty much do everything for you. The questions that they did have were things that anyone should know about themselves. It was pretty self-explanatory. I’ve already used them twice and they are on top of things. The things that are supposed to come came and it didn’t take long.

It was easy to follow up instructions and fill out the form. It was not time-consuming. The service was not that expensive and it was right to the point of what we needed.

I used LegalZoom for an LLC for convenience and the result time. The process was fairly simple. Everything was done online so I didn't deal with anybody directly from the company. They had phone numbers and ways for me to contact them but that never came into play. There were a number of different packages but I didn't really fully agree with the higher charges for certain things. There was quite a difference as far as the package prices. It was a little more expensive than it should have been to have the other options. That was why I went with the standard package. If they brought the prices down a little bit more reasonably, that would work out for more people including the company. Another thing is I haven't gotten the packet yet. Other than those, I was able to complete my building purchase so that was huge. LegalZoom did a terrific job.

At one point during the filling out of one of the forms, I ended up having to call and the young man that I talked to was knowledgeable and very clear. He did not confuse me further, which sometimes happens. I could have called him any time but from that point on, I didn't need to. The process was pretty self-explanatory. From there, it was all email communication. The process took less than a week.

When I bought the package, I was under the impression that LegalZoom was going to get the license. Instead, it was they were just going to tell me what I needed. They could have explained that a little better, but it wasn't a huge deal. It didn't hurt my feelings. I also had to call in once and it wasn't their fault. It was more a heads-up than a problem. It was something with the names for the LLC and the state of Nebraska and LegalZoom said, "Well, do you want to go this way or go this way?" I said, "Well, let's go the way we're going" and I was done in three weeks. It was fast.

I created an LLC and a nonprofit through LegalZoom and I like their process. It's very direct and the setup application is really easy to use. It's a convenient and a good system. When I called them to ask about two questions, their reps delivered and they were nice. Go ahead and pay the money, then let them do what they need to do so that you can be stress-free. With them, you don't have to worry about doing too much work.

I submitted the form in February 2nd and then I had to go back September 22nd because there was no progress being done on the website. When I called, LegalZoom said it was because I was missing $2. But I didn't get an email. I didn't get a contact. I thought that everything was good. After that, it took a very long time for the company to get created. Now, I have more experience and that there are other options out there. Plus, when I submitted the application, I misspelled tracking, and they didn't even realize that. They just submitted the paperwork as it was. When I went to enter the company, someone said, “Hey, your name is misspelled. So you should get that fixed before you even move any further.” So then I had to get the name changed, which has been causing even more money and time, and it hasn't been resolved yet. I haven't been able to move forward because of this situation.

I did a power of attorney with LegalZoom and I did it online. I also wanted to speak with an attorney and when I used that service, he called me right at the appointment time and he helped me out. What I needed was very simple and what they offered was perfect for what I needed. If I needed anything additional, having that additional option to speak with an attorney was really great. I was able to download the forms, print them, and call a notary in town and have them meet me and do all the notarization. So the process was simple.

Legalzoom can file everything for you. That’s the biggest thing. You don’t have to waste your own time doing it. They went to file an LLC for me. Everything went smooth and everything that I had to do was easy. It’s self-explanatory online and they’ve sent me automated emails to take action on certain things.

LegalZoom was one of the first web-based type legal sites. My brother-in-law also uses them. I knew he was using them and satisfied with them, so I figured I'd give it a try. What I find is some of these pages and websites get a bit overwhelming trying to figure out the best way to navigate, and what are all the options, especially when you're dealing with something that could be fairly intense, like some legal issue. It's not just LegalZoom, it's a lot of sites, just trying to figure out how to navigate through the site, and get to the right people or the right links. But ultimately, I figure it out.

I was misled by Legal Zoom. Your company can not provide a full service for me. I paid for service and 11 months later I find out that Legal Zoom was not able to fulfill that service. So, I wasted 11 months of my time. I was told that I am getting a partial refund. I am still waiting for it. However, I believe that I deserve a full refund because Legal Zoom CAN NOT deliver what I requested and lead me to believe that it could be done. Since 1/11/2021, I did not hear from anyone until I called on 4/15/2021 to find out that Legal Zoom cannot do the form 1023 for a church. However, I was charged a fee to do the SS4 with the designation of a church on block 10. At that time, Legal Zoom knew that any other effort will be in vain but kept collecting my installment payment. That is very deceiving business practice.

I have a 501c3 non-profit organization that has been in business for over 10 years. I called Legal Zoom 3 times to confirm that their services would work for me. Three different employees there stated that I should purchase the DBA plan for $159. I called back twice after the first call to confirm, because I did not want to waste my time and money. After a few weeks, LegalZoom informed me that they would not be able to assist me with this transaction, after they billed me. I called and emailed several times for a refund.

LegalZoom saves the time on you having to do all that paperwork. Some of the stuff is self-explanatory but them navigating through the paperwork is worth the money. However, they could explain the paperwork a little bit more. The packet you get is a little foreign if you don't know what is what. They could kinda educate people on what's the next step after getting it completed. You get all this stuff and you don't really know what to do. Other than that, it was a pleasant and very helpful experience.

I thought it was gonna be a lot cheaper with LegalZoom. Also, I felt like once they got my money, they didn't care too much about the process. Next time, I'd do it with someone local because it's about the same cost when you add everything up and you get to know a local person a lot better.
