Legal Zoom was an excellent choice to assist me in establishing my business. They have provided me more information and assistance than I expected and I am so happy I chose Legal Zoom to start my business.

Was able to get questions about a trust/will answered. Did not have a huge need for the service. Didn’t know they renewed service automatically and was charged. Customer service said they would refund me since I didn’t want the service anymore. But they failed to do it. I called again. It took about 30 mins to get the right department. And eventually a nice helpful person Tim was able to cancel my subscription and provide the refund.

First time using LegalZoom, and so far it has been nothing but precise, knowledgeable, and the whole process streamlined. I would 100% recommend. Affordable, and great support for any questions, or assistance you may need.

Legal Zoom, acting as my agent for filing State Reports did not stop a subscription for services when a company I owned was dissolved in 2016. The subscription person cheerfully handled this and internally got an approval for a refund, with a minimum of trouble for which I am very appreciative.

Dylan was very helpful, professional, knew his stuff, and helped us with our needs and understood we had a budget, so he helped take some of the little thing we could add later out. Out of 5 stars, Dylan & LegalZoom are more than a 5+.

I purchased a package 3 years ago with a 1 year membership. I recently reviewed it and saw that I had failed to fill out a Power Of Attorney form for my mother. With some help from customer service, I filled it out with no problems and no charges. The people were helpful, professional and patient with me. I was so impressed! I highly recommend Legalzoom!

LegalZoom provides absolutely dismal service. They simply submit your documents, and then wait. You can't get any real customer service from them. If anything goes wrong, they claim they are not responsible. They don't even follow up on their own filings. My corporate filling is being significantly overdue, and all they say "It's a known delay." If it was so well known, why didn't they inform me at the time of filing or when I called their customer service 3 times? Use anyone else.

Great company for many years. I moved and went with an attorney to get a Trust Fund set up. Brandon spoke with me for quite awhile and was incredibly considerate thru our conversation. He spoke to me about speaking with the attorney that did my Trust Fund to see if he offering the other plan you offer. I will check with my Trust Fund Attorney and see if he offers this other benefits you offer. If not I will definitely enroll in the new plan. Very very happy with Legal Zoom and especially Brandon. This is the second time I’ve had the experience of receiving help over the phone from representatives at Legal Zoom. Each representative was very helpful, relatable, professional and knowledgeable. LegalZoom charged me $150 for forms that are free at the courthouse. The courthouse don't accept their forms. They use their own forms and complete them for you, the only thing you have to pay is the filing fee. LegalZoom is a rip-off.

Oriel (agent) is super friendly and understands our needs when we call in and email her. Her personality is what made us come back to LegalZoom to open another account for our record label company. She also explains what our package includes and has to offer us. She is easy to speak to and gives good information about LegalZoom. In fact all so far of their agents are super friendly and helpful but our favorite is Oriel **. Thank you!

Legal Zoom has successfully completed two copyrights for me. I currently have a Dissolution of a Nonprofit pending, which was being held up by the State of California, not Legal Zoom. I will need them for a Living Trust.

The Legal Zoom experience is one like no other when it relates to getting my business up and running legally with my state. All challenges are met with swift action. Legal Zoom representatives have the knowledge and a level of concern that is unmatched. I highly recommend Legal Zoom to all businesses especially the ones that are still an ideal.

These folks sent invoices to collections without contacting me. The worst part is that it was for things I never ordered. It was a mistake in their system and was corrected several times. Because of the hassle, I changed registered agent services and canceled with LegalZoom, but they found it in their hearts to bill me again. I had to call and cancel the order....again. Everyone I speak with is very nice, but they have a flaw in their system and will have you spending hours trying to fix their billing problems. I recommend you find another avenue for legal things.

I chose to use Legal Zoom to help me file my LLC because I wanted to save myself some time and hassle. I have experience creating an LLC but this time I thought I'd get some help because I'm so busy. Legal Zoom requested that my registered agent (a different company than Legal Zoom) sign the registered agent form. My agent signed the form and I emailed it back. A few weeks later I get an email saying they are waiting for me to sign my registered agent form. I called customer service and the rep said that she did not see the form in my file and asked me to send it while we were on the phone. I sent it and she confirmed that she received it and said that they had everything they needed and that my LLC request would be sent to the state asap.

I used LZ as a Registered Agent, a service for which they severely overcharge in hindsight (do your research, in Virginia I was paying 3x what I needed to). I cancelled the RA service several years ago. In the late-MIDDLE of the pandemic, when my business flow is about 1/3rd of what it was pre-pandemic, I hear from LZ for the first time in years through a COLLECTIONS agency claiming I owe LZ $399 for RA long after I cancelled it. I called LZ, told them the problem, and the rep was going to "transfer (me) right over to someone who can help (me) out!."

I wouldn't recommend LegalZoom to anyone, especially someone who wants to start an LLC in New York, where a registered agent isn't needed. LegalZoom haven't done anything for me except collecting payments. The process to change registered agent with LegalZoom was almost impossible and it was very obvious that they just want to "keep you" in their payment service. Don't use if not ABSOLUTELY necessary.

I was in the need to dissolve my Company and I was provided by LegalZoom, with a very clear and fast solution. The agent that advised me was very patient in guiding me throughout the whole process, and made sure I understood the process every step of the way. I only had to choose between two packages they offered, that involved everything I needed to worry of to make it happen, and after I made my decision they took it from there.

We used LegalZoom a dozen years ago to set up our living trust and wills. Realizing at lot had changed since then, we are updating it. The process was easy and affordable then, and is still as great today. A rep was available on a Saturday to help me and was very detailed in what we needed to do.

I received an email that my order was complete and my business was now official! Problem was, when I went on my account page, there were no documents to view. I called customer service and that's when I met Horiah. She was the utmost professional, knowledgeable, courteous and patient representative I have had the pleasure of dealing with. While she worked diligently to correct my issue, she downloaded and directly emailed me my documents! She resolved my issue and I can now view, share and print my documents from my LegalZoom account!!! THANK YOU HORIAH!!!! Go Legalzoom!!!

It took awhile to get to the right person to get my issue resolved but everyone was helpful and pleasant. I am still getting my issue resolved but I have confidence that it will be taken care of expeditiously.

Updated on 08/27/2021: The Legalzoom support team does a great job of staying on top of paperwork, updating records and sending notifications and progress of open orders. They have been friendly and helpful each time I spoke with them. No complaints. So far so good. Thanks.

I had the opportunity to speak to Rob ** to create my LLC. It was an easy process and it was even easier because I had someone who was very knowledgeable and has had years of experience doing this. Any question I had he was ready to answer which was absolutely helpful! 5/5!!

Amazing services! My Agent Nathan knew exactly what I needed after listening to my needs and quickly got me everything I needed. I was dreading the day I had to switch from a sole proprietorship to Llc but calling Nathan at Legal Zoom made it so easy and really lifted a huge weight off my chest!

I wanted to update my Will, since it was about 10 years old; however, I could not access my old Will since my email had changed. The Legal zoom representative was very efficient in helping me to change my email and password information so that I could gain access to my current document, as well as finish processing a POA which I had started years ago. I had to apply more then 3 times just to get one email to confirm my agent. First time they never sent the email. Second time they spelled Louisiana wrong. Third time still no email and now I'm on my 4th try. I would have gotten a refund by now but they told me I had to call the state in order to get my money back. Very frustrated customer.

I needed to obtain a last minute Operating Agreement for my LLC in order to close a loan. I used LegalZoom and set up an expedited order. However, I found out that I would need the document even sooner than what the expedited order would allow. I called and spoke with Jamison LegalZoom and explained the issue, hoping I could just cancel my order for a full refund (as I had found a local attorney who could help). Although Jamison was unable to cancel my order due to the fact it was already almost completed, he was able to come up with an alternate resolution instead. He put an additional rush on my order and obtained approval for him to send me electronic copies of the finalized document once it was complete. Although the hard copies won't be to me in time, the bank will accept the electronic version and I can close the loan, as needed. Thank you again!

I spoke with Tabitha at Legal Zoom today. It is true once again that it is the person with whom you work within a company that determines problem resolution and satisfaction. She resolved several things in my account that had haunted me for well over a year with contact with several other legal zoom employees. In a ten minute phone call, she helped remove all the red exclamation points that really were no longer issues anyway, and issued me a refund when other employees had told me a refund wasn’t possible for many reasons (or excuses). Tabitha is a golden employee there and in my opinion deserves a raise or a promotion, at the very least! Thank you Tabitha!

I called to find out how to add my daughter to the deed and mortgage of my house. I had the will and power of attorney but wanted her name added to the deed and mortgage without any financial or legal burden on her upon my passing. When I called Legal Zoom the representative knew immediately how to guide me through the process. So thankful for him, otherwise I’d have no clue how to do this. I’ll be recommending all my friends and family to use legal zoom.

My experience with Mr. ** establishing the process to initiate the start up of my company was flawless. Mr. ** was extremely professional and understanding of my needs. His knowledge of the products and services were outstanding. He was not pushy on the items in which I was not interested, he just moved on. I greatly appreciated that.

Legal Zoom has allowed one user to combine companies under its profile. We purchased one of these companies and now we cannot separate the ONE company to its own independent account and access history, etc. Instead we may lose our history access, etc. Legal Zoom should not allow multiple accounts under one account (email). Each Corporation, LLC, Sole Proprietor and Non-Profit should have their "OWN" log in, this was you are able to transfer and/or remove owners and partners.

This was a very good experience for me. I was at a real deadlock with what to do. It had been months since I received the documents but I never returned them. I thought that I might have to start over completely and pay the fee again. But it wasn't. Also, I thought I would have to pay for a new corporation since it was so long and now I was changing to a new corporation. But again there was no new fee and He was so enjoyable to work with. Not only was it easy, fast, filling it out online. My main concern was to put the co-trust in my son's name because my husband is disabled and not capable of handling a matter like this. The price is right and it allows to do installments! Then they give you the option to download the trust along with paying for a printed copy.

I used LegalZoom multiple times with no issue. This time LegalZoom subcontracted my deed document with GoDeeds company. This company is the worst. They never proceeded with my request and keeps asking for the same information. I lost valuable time and now need to get a refund. LegalZoom lost me as a customer.

She got me off line - updated and got back to me and helped me reset the correction and had me check over to ensure all was well. All this was done very professionally and politely. After I had filed everything I received a call from Ruth located in Austin to ensure my needs were met and I fully understood the process. The quality of the will documents was first class. After consultation with a lawyer referred by Legal Zoom, my husband and I decided to revise the portion of the will having to do with trusts. Legal zoom promised quick turn around time for filing paperwork by buying their express gold package. However conveniently there was an error while filing my articles. That will now take more time to fix after a month of waiting for the initial order to be completed. Every time I call customer service, which I only do because they keep notifying me to contact them regarding my order status, it's the same error but different solutions to the error. None of the associates are on the same page. This was a horrible experience.

Terrible company dealings! I have no idea how this company is actually still in business. We paid $440 to lodge a change of name and address for an existing LLC. Couldn't be provided in Docusign (whaaaat?), and once we signed and returned documents we've never heard from them again! I've tried calling (with hour long waits each time), and emailing constantly. You get different people every time that promise to follow up with you and never do. I've emailed the info email and we get zero return responses. I want my money back!!!! How can you treat people like this? This is hard earned money that you're taking without delivering on your promises. Please contact me immediately.

LegalZoom registered an LLC for me. Everything was done online and professionally. I got all the copies of the paperwork and I already started to use the system where you can log in your minutes of the corporation. So, that is going good. But they are trying to get my EIN number and it has taken more than a month. I need to get that EIN so I can make contact with my suppliers. I also can't move my bank account without that EIN number. They were having some challenges because I'm not an American, so I don't have a Social Security number and not everybody's familiar with the process of applying for the EIN with a foreign business owner.

Jordan from LegalZoom explained the reason an order to initiate a DBA had been put on hold (a possible conflict with a similar name) and gave me the time to come up with alternatives. He double-checked my answers, sent me an email to confirm and also updated my email for future communications. He then explained the process and expected timeline for a DBA application. Overall, he was clear, precise and thorough, making it a stress-free procedure! Thank you!

I've been using LegalZoom for several years now. In the past, it has been a lot smoother. But lately, it has not been as smooth. If we got some paperwork that's needed from my side, I could get an email. But then, as far as trying to navigate on the LegalZoom website itself, it’s hard to find out what they’re asking for. I’d be searching and searching, and trying to see what’s needed, instead, I'd have to call in. With the last two, the DBA and the LLC that I had done were delayed a little bit. I had started on the DBA in October and I just finally got that done this year. It was just going back and forth with that. They said they needed three specimens for the DBA and there really wasn’t too much detail on that. I got the email, and then I went to the LegalZoom website but it did not give me anything. Once you go there, it does not say anything about the specimens. There should be more information provided so I could just go ahead and submit it.

I went online at LegalZoom and went through almost like a survey question to come up with what exactly I was looking to do or what type of entity I was looking to set up. It’s pretty simple and I’m adopting the way that it flows or leads you to make the best decision for setting up your organization.

When I ask to speak to the manager about my transaction and her rudeness, she hung up on me. I will never recommend this company to no one. They are a rip off. They save you credit card on their site with your consent and charge you unnecessary fees.
