I used LegalZoom for trademark registration. I've been their customer for a few years already and they're all right.

I like the website and how that was set up, because it was easy enough to find the information that I needed before I even decided to use the services. It's very user intuitive. Once I went on the website and looked at all of LegalZoom's amenities, I decided to go with them. Communication is great too. I don't have to wait too long to hear back from somebody. It usually takes a day or two, which is good. It’s very overwhelming to start a business, but with LegalZoom, everything is laid out. Everything is there and people are there to help as well.

I was a little hesitant to use an online service like LegalZoom in setting up an LLC but I am pleasantly surprised by how professional, courteous and efficient the process has been. I recommend it highly!

Our company has been using LegalZoom for several years, for RA services. Big mistake. Most recently, we were upcharged over 60% ($399!) without even being notified. We contacted customer service and they were not helpful. Stated we received an email. Unfortunately, not true and we are waiting for proof. We asked about when the price change occurred, they stated 2018, yet we had a normal payments going through ($159) up until 2020. When asked about this discrepancy, they responded saying, "it was probably a glitch". One word. Wow.

I was told that all I had to do is try to send mail back to the state, but getting my LLC done was a little complicated. It also seemed like LegalZoom added charges than what was discussed prior. It is hard to get ahold of customer service as well, but once I got ahold of them, it wasn’t that long.

I needed a last will and testament. I'm young so it's gonna be a simple will for now. But other attorneys around us would charge quite a bit, so I was looking for a cost-effective method. With LegalZoom, the cost of estate planning was great. So the price was a big factor in choosing them. The process online was quick and it walked me through everything. It was good.

All the information that LegalZoom has provided has been really helpful. It's just that sometimes when I call, I have to wait up to an hour. But when I get in touch with somebody, it’s really good ‘cause they answer all my questions. I received my LLC and they did everything. It seems like it's legit, with the booklet, with all the information, the seal, and everything.

My experience was nice, professional and accurate. I enjoyed speaking with James ** because he went above and beyond my expectations especially with the pandemic leaving a shortage of staff to handle incoming calls. I am glad he took my call!

LegalZoom seemed very straightforward and the call that I had with the representative of LegalZoom was helpful in talking me through the process and helping me to select a package. I used them to file for an LLC and my estate service as well as everything that helped me get set up as a registered agent. It's easier to stay on top of business filings. However, the timeline wasn't super clear and that was a little frustrating. For example, I chose the least expensive package. That meant I would have my license back from the state in 30 days.

LegalZoom was the first one that popped out. And then I was looking through it, just to see what it was about. Shortly after that, I got some emails and phone calls. Everybody seemed friendly so I kept it going. I just downloaded the paperwork from the website. Everything went great. I'm very pleased.

The process seemed like it was pretty fast and it wasn't too difficult going through the steps. But when I actually started doing everything and paying fees, it took LegalZoom quite a while to get the LLC license to me. I purchased this sometime last year and I just barely got my LLC license about three weeks ago to a month. They kept putting me through the runaround. Every time they said they were gonna send the LLC off, they didn't send it off. I just had to keep calling and doing extra stuff.

I called Legal Zoom with a couple different questions regarding my pending order. Jamiah, the voice on the other end of the line, took my call with the most friendly and upbeat personality that instantly put me at ease as I was a little nervous at the beginning of the call. Jamiah was great. She helped solve my issues, and even guided me through the necessary steps, per my request, to change my entity name myself. Thank you again Jamiah!

Would definitely recommend LegalZoom.. Had a great experience learning about how I can best protect my new company. Very easy to Understand Jenny who I talk to and she was very knowledgeable about explaining things to me.

I heard about LegalZoom through a previous business that I own. I used it before. It could be better, but they’re okay.

LegalZoom's process is easy and convenient. The customer service based on the chat could be a little bit better though. I had questions of when my delivery would be here because it said the documentation would ship on the 19th of February, and I still haven't received it. But working with LegalZoom was very easy. A benefit is getting all my P's and Q's together as far as running my business legally. And between getting the correct paperwork together for the State of New Jersey as well as the government for taxes and doing things the right way, LegalZoom made it easier. On the website, I like the easy access to the documentation and how it's put into different files. Everything's in tabs as far as the legal document. If you open up your document tab, then you're able to go right into, for example, the EIN number for tax reasons or legal paperwork. It makes it simple with the drop-down that you put on your orders.

LegalZoom took care of everything I had to do and it wasn’t expensive. However, maybe they could send an update once in a while. It was supposed to take two weeks, but it took more than that. Other than that, everything was all right.

I did a living Trust through LegalZoom and had never done anything like this before, LegalZoom helped me out step by step and their support team is great! If you are looking to do things Legally by yourself you can't go wrong using LegalZoom, tons of great information and friendly people to help you get it done.

I heard about LegalZoom from a friend of mine. It was all online. My last thingy with them was they screwed up my paperwork, so I had to call them and redo the paperwork again. And then, my LLC business stuff wasn’t sent to me. But LegalZoom is customer-efficient.

The process with LegalZoom took way too long. Somebody dropped the ball somewhere along the line. They should have handled it faster and gotten me my license faster. I missed an opportunity to get a grant that I wanted to get for my business with the coronavirus. I needed my license, and it took so long that I missed that opportunity, so I'm not very happy.

The process is easy for me. For now, I'm good because I received my order, but it's not complete yet. I will also try to help another guy and recommended them, but I'm still waiting to finish mine.

I'm a sole owner of a business, but I have a partnership that's a 50-50 with another business organization. They were the one that gave me the option for LegalZoom. But I also know of another business owner that has used them before and he expressed a whole lot of positive reviews when it comes to their services. From what I understand, affordability and the services that they offer are kind of the gold standard. It's the first time I've ever gone through the process of getting the LLC. I don't have a whole lot of reference to know how difficult it would normally be or how difficult it would be to go through another agency, process or another state or country but given the way that it went, the process is difficult in general and timely and has a little bit of expense to it. LegalZoom kind of rolled out the red carpet and made it about as easy and painless as that process probably could be.

A friend said he worked with LegalZoom before and he liked it. At first, it was great. But then we were getting more fees instead of getting help. They said that the IRS will mail us our EIN number. We've been waiting for that for five months now. We can't even get anything done, but we still have to pay LegalZoom. We can't even do business or make any money right now because we're not official yet. I'm unsatisfied at the moment.

It was easy to do the original filing for the sole proprietorship and then I had to go back and redo some of the papers a little. They sent me an email, gave me the phone number to call and it was quick. They also did everything well but it took six months for my last request to get filed and they never gave me a good answer on why it took so long. I don't know if they had to file everything through the state and the county and it took a while, if they were backlogged or they had a COVID infect. Other than communicating better about the delay, everything else went perfectly.

Needed to revise my order to add me as a contact with my wife as primary. Also needed to adjust representatives so the children were equal. Corey walked me through it and was very pleasant and professional.

I had a friend from our church who had worked at LegalZoom for a long time and he had nothing but great things to say about them. So when we needed to create an LLC for something quickly, I thought of trying it out. I gave them some money and did it online. LegalZoom was great. The price point was the most attractive thing and it was as easy as you could make for a very bureaucratic process of starting an LLC. There was still plenty of paperwork, but they got it automated as much as they possibly could.

I used LegalZoom to get a name change. The state of Tennessee changed my name, so I had to go through LegalZoom. They got all the paperwork for me to get it done. For something technical, I don't know anything about that stuff, but they sent step by step on every little thing I needed to do. If I need a lawyer for anything, they’ll do the heavy lifting. I’m a truck driver. If something happens and I say, “Hey, I need a lawyer to help me deal with this ticket,” they will do the hard part. They would be like, “Where did you get this ticket? Where did you do this?” I will figure it all out. It wouldn’t be like back and forth and me having to do more work. It would be just 170. It's very reasonable.

I had LegalZoom do a power of attorney with my mother and then wills and power of attorney with my wife and I. The process was very easy to do. It didn’t require going to an attorney's office to get it done. This is my second experience with LegalZoom and so far, it's been a good experience.

Legalzoom has great service and it’s very convenient. The most communication I had with them is through email. I haven't needed much communication so far, but I see that everything is accessible and that they're willing to get in contact me with any kind of way. I made one phone call to them and they helped me out. They were kind too. I feel that the chat is always available to be used as well. This is my second time using them. So far, so good. I enjoy using it. They always get back to me with information that is needed and required.

The service from LegalZoom was a good bang for the buck. I did the LLC at the beginning of the year. The process was easy. I like the constant updates that they're giving me and letting me know that things are due and having to do with taxes.

The process with LegalZoom was kinda easy. There are some of the stuff I didn’t understand, but I just gotta Google. It’ll explain it. I had a live representative talked to me. It was helpful on that side. Everybody was nice and concerned.

Susan was great for two reasons. One was that she was able to fix my issue and make me more knowledgeable, but the second reason was that she was able to do so in a way that was relatable and yet humble. Because of all this I feel that if I were confused or stuck in the future, I would be glad to have her help me.

I called Legal Zoom today to see how much longer it would take to get our Living Trust for my mother. Richard answered the line and he was friendly and funny. I have used this service over the past 20 or so with success. Now that the 3 seniors (mom, aunt and uncle) have passed on, I am in my early 70's and am using this service and its products that I trust for myself as well.

I opened a business account yesterday and only take few minutes, the website was very easy to navigate and understand. I had a problem processing the information and a customer agent call to help me, she was great, fast and efficient. I had everything done in less than 30 minutes. When adjusting our operating agreement, the whole process was made extremely easy with our representative Riley. He was very knowledgeable on the process and helped us to make sure we didn't miss anything. I was on the LegalZoom website forming a LLC. The computer was not responding properly so I called support for help. The agent was rude and condescending. I remarked that I normally use an attorney but thought this might be quicker and easier. He said 'if you have an attorney, why are you calling us?' rather than try to gain my business or solve my computer problem. I asked for a supervisor, and he hung up on me. I called back and escalated, and followed up with a number of emails trying to get satisfaction. I came to the conclusion after numerous attempts that Legal Zoom simply doesn't care. If the technology works for you - great - if it doesn't, they really could care less and have no interest in helping. RUN!

I dissolved my LLC but Legalzoom charged me $249 to automatically renew registered agent service but I never agreed to auto renewal. Customer service refused to do a refund. I contacted customer service via online messaging because I could not reach anybody by calling. They refused to issue a refund and told me I elected to have this service when I filled out my questionnaire, which is completely false. There was no mention of giving LegalZoom authorization to automatically charge my credit card to renew my registered service agent or an additional charge of $249.

In December of 2019 I submitted a request to Legal Zoom to dissolve the entity I had set up using their service. On 11-Jan-2020 I received a response stating my RA services and Legal Forms was being processed and would not renew, but then there were delays. Due to the nature of 2020 I did not contest the slowness of their finalization of the request, although Legal Zoom promises 20-35 day processing.

I wanted an S-Corp and selected this and add-ons related to it and paid online but the corporation never materialized and they still charged me for it and the add-ons like Registered Agent, Total Compliance, and Tax filings. They make it impossible to cancel or speak to a real person and hold times for their customer service line are over an hour. Tried to dispute through credit card and LZC fought it. Disgusted by their "service."

The agents who answer the phone are inconsistent with their knowledge about the process. I paid for filing a 501C tax exempt. The agents hung up the phone on me when I asked questions they would not answer. I asked to speak to someone who could answer my questions, they said that the team who completes the form are not allowed to talk to clients. I asked for a supervisor to help, they blocked and said someone will call me back in 48 hours, no one did. I asked them to give an attorney access to my application, the agent said it was done but when I had the appointment with the attorney, he did not have access. When I completed the form and I wanted to make corrections, they said that I could not and would have to wait 10-14 business days for someone to contact me!

The software for the Living Trust contains bugs that are potential fatal flaws. The entries in the questionnaire boxes are not accurately transferred to the printed document. Consecutive capital letters, such as common two-letter state abbreviations or acronyms for names of companies ("BBVA Continental", TD Ameritrade), cannot be entered correctly. The second and subsequent majuscule letters are written as minuscule. Response time for written inquiries is not one day, as promised, but can exceed three days, if a response is received at all.

I'm satisfied with LegalZoom. They're fast and provide good service, so we're happy.

My father told me that he had used Legal Zoom before and that it was a good choice that he made. I tried them out for an LLC and a business license. and their website was straightforward. I got my stuff done with them within a very reasonable time. It's a good service and they were good at helping me out.

Last month, I formed my LLC. LegalZoom was straightforward. I went on, put in my info, waited a few days and got my LLC, so I'm happy. They also offered the option to pay half now and pay half later. That was a big incentive and I know that's is a big deal for a lot of people right now. I can put some money towards some other things getting started and then pay it off later. I'm thinking about using them again for another business I'm thinking to form shortly. With LegalZoom, I can find the documents that I need after the fact, like my articles of organization or anything that I need to pull up for my bank account and things of that nature. It's very easy to go right to that one screen and print out my paperwork.

LegalZoom is highly recommended and they have a legal guy to help. It's cool and I am using it for an LLC. It’s working and it’s pretty quick. The process is easy.

I found LegalZoom through my wife. She has a ministry and she used LegalZoom one time so she recommended them. I just had to pay for the LLC and it was done. But I found out later on through my bank that it was something that I could have done with a lot lesser cost. They said they would do it for free, that the same thing that I had done could have got done by me just coming to them. But I got what I paid for and it was very simple. LegalZoom made it very easy for me to apply for LLC and they took care of everything. I’m grateful for that.

I needed to create an LLC and I already did through LegalZoom's website. When I was setting up online, I accidentally selected economy and some upgraded one. But I called in and the rep helped me sort it out. Overall, good experience.

My brother told me about Legal Zoom. I and some people who were part of an LLC with me decided they were the best option to go with. Using their service was pretty easy. Everything was a waiting process. Their site was helpful. It was easy to use and it was so step-by-step.

I had an account with LegalZoom to start my own business. Every 3 days they would email me. Request the same information. I reviewed the information 4 times with 4 different people. I send all required docs, and verified they had them all. Then they sent me to do state paperwork that was part of my account order costing me out of pocket funds. I finally had to process my own state and federal paperwork, 30 days with legal zoom nothing filed. 30 minutes after canceling legal zoom all paperwork filed by me. They are a bunch of idiots.

Everybody at LegalZoom has messaged me and emailed me back as I needed help. There were a few different things that I had them do and have not switched or gone anywhere else because I have absolutely no complaints. Somebody referred me to them and there has been nothing, this far, that has made me regret choosing them. They have done well by me.

Updated on 12/20/2020: PART 2 - I spoke with Rachel from LegalZoom but, the service did not fulfill my request, and I dissolve the entity created by LegalZoom. I thought I would get a refund back for the main purchase but did not. The money spent was a waste, I appreciate Rachel effort but, my service was not fulfilled. I recommend using another service that cost cheaper. Business Formation is easy to do.

I was trying to start my business through the Secretary of the State of Texas and it seemed like every link I clicked to take a step forward, I kept going two steps backwards. So, instead of me getting stressed out and drinking Hennessy, I just went to Legal Zoom and let them do the work. Everything went well until they forgot to send in my EIN number. So, I had to pay for that and now I have to do my EIN on my own anyway. Even so, LegalZoom made me comfortable. They answered my questions and guided me in the right direction. Overall, everything went well.

Although the price of setting up a trust might be much lower than hiring an attorney yourself, the level of the customer service you receive is so poor that I wish there was a way to give them negative 5! Company's website is not user friendly, staff are not knowledgeable and, it will take at least 45 minutes to talk to someone over the phone. I had several incidents that I waited to talk to someone for 50 minutes but once I got to talk to a member of the customer service, he or she was not able to answer my question so she asked me to wait so I could be transferred to someone else but I got disconnected. Their phone system is also set up poorly. I do not recommend this company at all!!

I've used LegalZoom before. Recently, I incorporated a company through them. For most people, if they have the time to wait for them, LegalZoom's fine. But if you're in a rush or if you need something, I wouldn't go to them. It just takes too long, like I was really waiting for more than a month. I just had to go and do the paperwork for myself to get the stuff like EIN number and making sure that I was filed with the state and a whole bunch of other things that I paid them to do.

A friend of mine recommended LegalZoom. I formed an LLC. I got a tax BIN. Someone from 1-800Accountant which partners with Legal Zoom reached out to me for a free consultation and that went quite well. Our experience with LegalZoom was very good.

I have a friend that started her LLC through LegalZoom. She gave me a great review, said it was easy. The people were easy to talk to, they tell you everything you need to know. So that's when I gave LegalZoom a call. It was perfect. I love that everything I needed to know was right in front of me.

I used LegalZoom. I made some changes to my will and I haven't heard back from them as far as whether or not it's ready to print. But other than that, it's been good. I've done it all online and it seems efficient. It's also cost-effective and got what I needed.

I used LegalZoom’s services for starting a small LLC. I sat with my accountant and they did it through them. I’ve known the accountant for years and years, and they said that LegalZoom could take care of it without any troubles.

One of my friends who had used LegalZoom referred me to them for business forming. I started September 28th and it's still a work in progress. I'm still waiting for my EIN and publish my company. It is going through as expected and I hope it gets completed this week. There have been a couple of back and forth because I had to set up a few things but they are very good professionals. They know what they're talking about. LegalZoom has a nice website and a good support line. The only thing is the costs were not transparent. A couple of costs came in as a surprise to me.

My friend started up his business through LegalZoom and he told me about them. Since their pricing wasn't bad, I used them as well for the LLC startup. I've talked to so many people in the past three months that it’s hard to keep track of what's what, but having that legal backing makes things a lot more comfortable. Legalities can cost you a lifetime of issues if not handled properly and it’s one less thing you have to worry about.

I got a good referral from my friend about LegalZoom. He said he had a good experience. He said it was a smooth transaction getting the LLC from them. And as far as my experience getting my LLC, it was pretty good, pretty simple and straightforward. The only concern I may have was the Articles of Organization. There were some spelling errors on there, but I don’t think it’s a huge deal. It was just minor spelling errors. It wasn't gonna affect the legality of anything. In the beginning of the process when my application was delayed, I was able to speak with somebody. That went smoothly. They ironed it out, they got my business back on track in terms of getting legalized.

I downloaded the app, called the number, spoke to a representative, and the representative did everything. The experience was excellent and the process was awesome. Everything is in a timely fashion and the correspondence is great. Whatever I seemed to miss, they seemed to be on it.

LegalZoom is a cheap legal service compared to everything else. I only got reregistered with them just to do a trademark search. It just got complicated so I have to go find another way to do it. I took LegalZoom off, and then every time I go to get help, it seems like I'm blocked. Because LegalZoom has contracts with these other people so they can't help me. In the beginning, LegalZoom was easy to contact. As time went on, it became a little more difficult to get things done. It seemed they kinda went downhill a little bit with the service. I think they’re just getting big. As you get bigger, it's harder to keep quality. But they're a great company.

But then, when the whole filing thing went through and an issue came up with my paperwork, there was no easy way to figure out what was wrong with the paperwork so I could push it through. Nobody called and reached out. I just got an automatic notification via email saying that I sign in to my account to view the issue. When I did that, the issue was not there. Then the website on my account said to call LegalZoom. I called but then it took me days to get a hold of someone because I wasn't assigned a real live person. Then, I was waiting on hold for a really long time. One day, I waited on hold for an hour and a half and no one picked up. I had to push it to the next day. I don't have an hour and a half to wait on the phone. But once I finally did, it was nice to have it all in one place. Then, they do the next steps, so it keeps it organized.

Recently I canceled one of their services and the guy helped me out with the refund. I appreciate that some of their agents are really helpful and kind.

Everything came in a envelope and it was very organized and well-written for me to understand. Everything went by smoothly as well. I would definitely recommend them. I just got my sister started with her business with LegalZoom too.

They called me back ‘cause something was wrong with one of the logos and they walked me through it and we clarified the information. It was a great experience for me. I got more stuff coming down the pipe ‘cause I just opened my clothing line. If I gotta deal with somebody, I'm gonna deal LegalZoom ‘cause they helped me. They made sure I was good.

I needed an updated will, so that my ex-wife didn't get all of my money on the off chance that I died. I did the process primarily online. At one point, I did have a question and kind of got it answered at the same time that the phone was answered. LegalZoom accomplished what I needed and without the astronomical bills that usually an attorney would cost. So it was a win-win situation.

Beware of this company. LegalZoom made a massive error with my paperwork that is costing me thousands of dollars to fix, and they refuse to refund me or help me. I filed for an S-Corp with LegalZoom in January. It cost about $500-$600. By May, they still had not sent my documents to me. Every week or so, I called for an update. The customer service representatives consistently gave me the same response: "That's funny — your case has been put on hold but it doesn't say why. I'll remove the hold and you should have your paperwork sent out in the next week."

I was looking to find a way to get my LLC then one of my friends that owns his business said LegalZoom’s the way to go. It's easy to use. I'm able to get online and look at all my stuff like updates.

It's still going on and the only problem I had was that they took out money out of my card but they didn't even tell me the date or that was what they were gonna do. I contacted them about it and they told me it would take three days for somebody to call me back. I didn't like that either. This was a serious business. They took from my rent money. They are a big business but why was it that they didn't have a supervisor that they could get hooked up to to talk to? But the rep wasn't budging from that take three days business.

Attorneys around here had gone up so much on their price for something that they just use a template and fill in the blanks for my other legal services and where I was drained of huge amounts of money. It seemed like Legal Zoom would be a good thing to do a standard routine document for less money than paying one of them. It was a long time ago when I did the original will through LegalZoom and my child was still underage. When all these COVID stuff came up, I was scared out of my wits. I'm not young anymore. I needed to update my will and change the executor since I only have this one child that would inherit what I have. My son is now of age and would be the executor of my will and my sole heir. I updated my old will and apparently, more has to be done than when I did the original one.

I set up my LLC using LegalZoom. The reps were courteous but unfortunately, I'm almost to a point where I don't know if I wanna ever use LegalZoom again. I was trying to get paperwork done and it was a nightmare. I'm still going through it. I tried going their least amount and they keep playing games. It forces you to upgrade to a better amount, so they make more money. They also don't divulge that when you sign up with them that you have to pay them $250 a month to be able to have them as someone as contact for an LLC. So I stopped that as well. That's really wrong to do.

People I work with told me they use LegalZoom, so I use them. Everything was pretty good. They're very helpful and when I have questions, they answer them. It was pretty smooth for me. I heard that going through private CPAs and stuff like that could be considered a little bit cheaper but with LegalZoom, you pay for convenience.

The process with LegalZoom was easy. I used them for an LLC and getting started took about 20 minutes. I'm pretty satisfied. I was able to start my own company and they provided good service. They will get you done real quick.

One of the worst experiences in my life, you pay for platinum service, and at best you receive, slow, prolonged service. I started my divorce in August 2020, and in the state of California, a divorce takes six months. With Legal Zoom, it will take an additional 2 to 3 months due to their slow service. They filed my paperwork with the courts, which was received to LZ on September 1, I received NO email updates, as promised with Platinum service. I had to follow-up with a phone call on September 28, yes, 27 days they held onto my paperwork, no review. After speaking with customer service and getting laughed at by one them, I had to push them along to get my paperwork to my spouse. Once my spouse signs and returns the signed documents to LZ, they will hold on to them for yet another 27 days of review, so my divorce will have yet another delay or another month of waiting.

A friend of mine who set up a business had said they used LegalZoom. He had a lot going on in his life at the time like I do, and he said it helped to kinda get things done when he was kinda running around like crazy. He said he had a good experience. I got them to do the DBA for me. Leveraging the technology was super simple. The instructions and directions back were super simple. It was an easy way to get it done. Completion to hearing back was about two weeks.

I did an LLC and a follow-up DBA with LegalZoom. My accountant did most of it himself but everything seemed to go smoothly with no issues. Both processes were probably less than three weeks for everything to be completely finished. The biggest advantage is knowing the proper documentation and the process itself and having an idea of how long everything would take. It was refreshing to know that things were being done as they were stated they would be.

The process has been time-consuming, disorganized and unclear. You have to be very self-reliant. It's lots of different people that I've spoken with and I've kind of had some issues. I registered for the trademark services to apply for a trademark and LegalZoom kind of just sends automatic follow-ups. It's not anyone that's really taken charge of the case. They kind of work in teams so that was kind of annoying that I didn't have one person that I could follow up with.

Every now and again, I'm the one who ends up having to call them and ask a person’s help on something but they do a pretty good job. It’s been very professional working with them. When it first started for me, everything was going really good and running smooth. But I had to move and with my moving process, I wasn't able to pay my payment last month. I've been trying to reach someone to talk to them about that but I haven't had any response yet. But as far as them, they've been doing an excellent job for me. I have recommended them to a couple of people that has actually used them as well and they don't have any complaints either.

I'm still in the trademark process thru LegalZoom. They’re saying order was completed on 8th of August but I don’t understand that. I’m still waiting to hear back from them. My understanding was once I talked to their attorney, this was gonna be filed. I didn’t know that that was all that they were gonna help with. I thought they were gonna get back to me and tell me that it's filed and until we hear back from the office, the service should not be over. They are pretty responsive but a little bit more communication from their end would have been really good. But overall, I'm pretty happy. It was a good value for money.

I was referred to use LegalZoom by my personal lawyer. We used them to file for an incorporation as a business. They definitely did what they were supposed to do on there. But as far as completing the services, it took a little time. I'm not sure if that's something that's a regular thing for them or probably because of what's going on with the epidemic. I used LegalZoom for wills and it was okay. The only thing is that when you make a change to the will, they send you an updated package and it has a different code number on it than the one that you started with. They should put both of them on there and they should give each revision a sub number, like revision number one, revision number two, revision number three. If you end up with multiple revisions, you know which one you're looking at. Other than that, I like the rest of it. The process is easy to use. It seems to do the job fairly well and the quality of what I got back was good.

I purchased an LLC Thru Legal Zoom. Cost totaled to $641 which was already expensive but I just went ahead and did it anyway because I desperately needed protection for my business. 2 weeks later I was charged an additional $250 from Legal zoom for a separate fee that I had no knowledge about. When I called they refused to reverse the transaction and is making me dispute thru my bank. Do yourself a favor and find a better company to handle your business affairs. Legal zoom is a rip off, they advertise low cost upfront fees with expensive hidden fees.

I used LegalZoom for a living will and it was easy. Everything was wonderful. If I die, my children know where to go get my stuff.

Legal Zoom are good sales people but they over promise and under deliver. I am still waiting for some of the services they sold me over one year later and all I get when I contact them is, "someone will be in touch" or, "sorry but you misunderstood and we do not include that service." I set up a company through them which is, a mess and worst, had them do my will which is and has been incomplete for over one year. Now they want to renew me and suddenly, they are communicating again!! Buyer beware, lots of hype and no delivery.

I'm satisfied with what LegalZoom has done. But I don't like how much of my data that they've sold to outsource companies though. Earlier today I was on the phone for 30 minutes from a tax person, which I've never reached out to, nor do I need one because this is a low-income business and don't plan on growing it at all. Then there were all the emails that come attached to it. I just wish it was a more professional environment. None of this would happen if I went to an actual lawyer's office. I wouldn't have all these follow up outsource companies trying to touch base with me to make money. This is the only drawback and it is a major drawback ‘cause they offer some great prices for what they do, but I respect my privacy. I'm hiring lawyers, essentially, or lawyer’s aides. They're in a professional realm and they've gone beyond the professional environment by overstepping on people’s privacy.

I went for an incorporation through LegalZoom. I did everything online without help. LegalZoom was on it really quickly and they got it done. They made it really easy for me when I wanted to open a corporation and start a business.

I've never started a business before, so working with LegalZoom seemed like a good way to start if we have all the forms and papers. I started an LLC, I got a registered agent. Getting everything started was easy, but now I'm at a standstill when I don't know what's going on. I'm pretty sure COVID slowed everything down, but my package, at the beginning of August, said that my order had been shipped. But I don't know where it was shipped to 'cause ain't nothing hit my mailbox. Last time I talked to somebody, I was told that once it got to state, it would do this and that, I would get some forms in, I'd have to scan and sign and send back. It's been about six weeks now and I haven't seen anything in my mailbox or emails. I'm also having this issue whenever I call, there's anywhere from an hour and a half to four-hour wait. It says there's an option to do a callback, but it never gives me a number to do that callback.

I filed for an expedited service for my LLC with LegalZoom. Filing was super easy. Seemed to be great until they received my payment. I filed in July and since then my order has been labeled as delayed. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone to talk to to figure out why it is delayed, they sent me an automated email for my EIN just a few days ago and said it will take another 4-8 weeks?!?! It has already been way over the expected time period they gave when ordering and another 1-2 months is just insane to me. I took the "easy" way out instead of just filing the paperwork myself and I would have gotten everything back already.

I like LegalZoom. It’s doing a good job. I've been using LegalZoom for several years now dating back all the way to 2012 when I first opened my business. When I set up a new company, I use LegalZoom. I recently just set up a joint venture, and I used LegalZoom. What I mainly use it for is for doing that type of thing. I didn't know there were any other companies available that do this at the time when I first started. I really didn't have a reason to change or look for anything else because the service I was being provided was fine. LegalZoom makes the process of starting a new business easier. I’m happy with the service. It is user-friendly, simplifies complex processes, and it’s a great service.

I've worked with LegalZoom before in creating an LLC. I used them again this time to create another LLC. I wish I didn't click the whole monthly pay because I don't feel like I get a lot of value from it. Also, I had a really bad experience because the name that I chose apparently got stuck up at Delaware. There really wasn't just that great communication about what was happening. So I continue to follow up the LegalZoom customer service, but I understand, it's probably out of most people, that it could happen. I'm glad that it happened to me because I've been running a business for 10 years and I understand those things happen. As far as LegalZoom's customer service, staying in communication wasn't the best but in terms of handling the situation, it was pretty decent. When I talked to someone on the phone, it was good. The quality of the LLC that I received is great. It's good stuff. There's a reason why LegalZoom is the market leader in this.

I used LegalZoom to set up a business. They've been really good at making sure I get all my documents done and stay in compliance with things. And if I have questions, they've been really good at answering them. I recently got an email that there are documents that need to be filed in November and to make sure that I get it all done.

LegalZoom was a good service. They did their job. I don't want to do it myself. I wanted a simple and easy way to do it. There are a lot of documents you have to file for that stuff. I’m pretty sure I would have gotten none of it right.

Using LegalZoom is very disappointing. I used their service for the power of attorney, last will, and living will. I found their team completely useless. I've sent them three emails concerning my last will that I need corrections made, and nobody has contacted me at all. Contacting them is nearly impossible. They don't respond to emails at all. You’ll end up waiting over an hour even trying to talk to somebody.

When looking for a company to help with a LLC they almost trick you into thinking you need them. They let you choose the type of service which the cheapest is like 300. So I went with that thinking ok they handle everything, I’ll pay 300 and be done with it... well they have charged that I didn’t see for an additional 300!!! Do not go with company. I am so mad and I want my money back! They have nearly charged me with all the money that I have during a pandemic!!! I want a refund immediately of all my money, I no longer ever want to start a business because of these guys!

LegalZoom is good. I researched companies that'll help with LLCs, and they came up. They helped me obtain my LLC. They were the most convenient and they're more affordable. They pretty much take care of things for you as far as the process of writing everything out, and it's pretty much handled by them.

I was in need of business information. We consulted with a regular attorney and the price they quoted us was very high, so we went to LegalZoom. We started that in July. A month or so ago when we were doing the paperwork, I had questions and they got back to me right away. I had a question recently but nobody got back to me. I didn't know if it was a question they could answer or not. When they provide the service, they should keep up with the clients. In our case, it was setting up a business and we were new to a lot of the stuff. We didn't really know. They should continue to follow up to make sure that they are aware or if we have any more questions. Other than that, they were very quick with the service like in providing us with information.

Legal Zoom charged me $5,139.10 over the last 7 years. I did not realize I had this account and have NOT USED ANY of the services aside from registering an LLC back in 2013. Unable to cancel online and have now been on hold w/ customer service for 2 hours and 17 minutes and counting, still haven't spoken with anyone. I want my account canceled and my money back. Beware of Legal Zoom, complete nightmare.

My dad set up his own business through LegalZoom and he said it was really easy and simple. That was a concept that was very attractive to me. I went through Legal Zoom as opposed to doing a bunch of other programs and I'm glad I did because it was a very easy experience to get everything registered and set up. I did everything online and LegalZoom had a very intuitive website. I appreciated that. Mainly, the people I talked to were the Bank of America people when I was setting up my bank account for it. But everything else was pretty straightforward. I already knew I was gonna do an LLC going in so it wasn't a conversation that I needed to find more things out about.

I was opening a corporation and it was the second time I was doing it. The first one went perfectly but the second one was a disaster to the point where I would probably never use nor recommend LegalZoom again. And I have recommended them several times. I'm a California real estate broker. I have to file for my real estate license with the DBA within six months or I would have to go back and get an additional certificate from the state of California that the corporation was active. I had LegalZoom do everything and they submitted my DBA for filing in February but I didn't get it until September. So much time had elapsed and I missed that six months mark because they got it back to me in five months and two weeks.

I went with LegalZoom for a business I liked the ease of use of their site. It was quick and accurate. LegalZoom expedited the process faster than my state. They gave me my business tax ID before my state had even registered it into their system. I have confidence in the answers they are giving me. They are fast, effective and friendly.

At the time, I did not have the LLC established and it asked me information about my LLC. I was unsure so I used the help number and there was no answer, not even a voicemail. I called it a couple of times and never got a response. I'm super busy with my regular job and I've been doing a lot of travel so I just kinda shelved it at that point.

My husband found LegalZoom on the internet and he did a will for us with my help. After he died, I wanted to make some changes to the will and LegalZoom made it very simple to do. I'm satisfied. I mentioned LegalZoom to two or three of my friends.

At a time when I desperately need my husband's Will, too slow, not there when you need them. I needed the Will within 8 days, I was not able to get satisfaction at a time when you really need it. Would not recommend.

This company I have been dealing for years slowly and slowly became ridiculously unprofessional. Each time you speak to an agent they say different things. They always want to charge you. They are super long on acting for your paperwork. They have an horrible service. I will never use them again. Do not use them. It is better to use a business accountant. Save money and time. They are HORRIBLE!!!!

LegalZoom has been treating me well since going with them for an LLC. Currently, I'm with them doing a trademark for my logo. I like that I don't have to do things myself and that things are done right. Being with them makes things less stressful for me. They're professional and they help me out a lot.

Legal Zoom gave me great service before I handed over the money. Once I paid the wait times to speak to a rep were over 2 hours, I would request a call back and get hung up on and never receive a call back, I had documents waiting to be sent to the state and were outdated by the time they got to the state so they were rejected, I resent documents over 7 times, one rep would say everything looks great only to get a call the next day saying they never received the documents??? I filed in May and still have nothing to show for it... THREE MONTHS later and paid for the “expedited 5-7 days”. Legal Zoom is a joke and I will NEVER do business with them again.

The person that told me about LegalZoom used them before. This is my first business and she told me that it would be best if I did my copyright and trademark under them. I had a few questions and if I wanted to really contact them, I could've, which I did. I spoke to somebody and we went through the steps together. They moved quickly. I got my stuff on time quickly.

I have used Legal Zoom several times before. On my latest, I picked the economy LLC package. I started to fill out the State papers myself but decided to play it safe because I couldn't afford any delays. In the past, they would work my orders behind the priority orders and get it done. But, in this case, they have purposely held up sending in the paperwork because I selected the economy package. Legal Zoom does a good job of upselling through their website, so be careful. Select no thanks, which is hard to see. I will stop recommending Legal Zoom. They seem to become what they came to overcome, the messy world of legal work and delays.

I've been trying to get through to them but the waiting time is more than four hours. But so far, it's pretty good. It's just hard to get in contact with somebody.

They have done everything according to what they said, but at the end of the day, I had a few questions for them and their answer was very unclear. When I had called them to see if I had to make a payment, they didn't tell me no or yes. So, I sent the payment in that I didn't have to send in. Luckily, the lady on holiday sent it back because she said she was aware that LegalZoom would sometimes file the same thing twice. And she said it shouldn't be filed but once. So, I received the letter that I owed the Secretary of State 100 bucks. But it was supposed to be covered in my package from LegalZoom and I didn't like that. But it was a learning experience.

I went with LegalZoom again to create an LLC and the process went smoothly. It took three weeks. Working with them was easy and didn't take a lot of effort on my part.

LegalZoom was cheaper and still legal. I'm used them for a name change. I had quite a bit of interaction with their customer service and they got my issue resolved. We got what we needed done. But it took longer than it needed to because of the information I didn't know I needed to give them back. Once we got all that resolved, it was pretty quick.

I wish that I could've spoken to more representatives or at least had a more in-depth conversation about everything that my package includes. But I could have asked my questions. Other than that, everything was nice. The biggest benefit that I've been able to utilize was the Bank of America partnership. I have found that super helpful.

The cost was pretty reasonable and it was good.

LegalZoom is providing me service for the LLC for now, but I got the premium package. I did the attorney call thing and a business licensing filled out the whole paperwork for me and got me my licensing, home-based occupational thing filled out. It's been great. I like the whole smooth transition from working for somebody else, stopping and getting all my ducks in a row, and now, come the 1st, I'm ready to start my own business.
