I was charged a recurring fee with no notification except on my credit card statement. The fee was $199. My account has been inactive for over a year. I received no services or goods. When I called Legal Zoom the day I was charged, I was told by their agent it was too late. BEWARE!!!!! This is a very deceptive business practice. I am writing this review to warn others. I will continue to fight this charge and spread the word.

That had been received if I had known this person was suing us. I could have gotten an attorney right then. Since no one had nofity us from Legal Zoom this person went right into court and got a 30k judgment against us....If I had known from legal zoom I could have stopped the lawsuit. Since I never knew about the suit he wins. Now my company is shut down due to legal zoom. Buyer beware. These people are not attonery and don't represent you in any fashion. Don't do business here

I used this product once, I didn't really care for the assistance and feedback I received so when my subscription came up for renewal I canceled it. When I checked my bank account several days later I noticed the charge was taken out and applied. When I called, I ended up speaking to a great customer service representative. She helped put in my request for a refund, but today I got an email that says, "Sorry we won't refund you because you technically canceled before the date of renewal." So they can't return the withdrawal. I do not understand how you can confirm that I canceled this product in writing and will not refund my money. I have seen reviews here that obviously this is not true. As I told the representative I knew I should have taken a screenshot of the cancelation...

The initial salesman was great? Once I paid for everything, it all went downhill. I understand processing paperwork may take some time, however I was told within 48 hours I would have my EIN number. I was told that for over 2 weeks!!! I had to track down a VP just to get a response. The escalation team acted as if they would help me. So I sent an invoice for the amount of time I had to waste and lost revenue. I get a response 15 minutes before the escalation individual was done his shift. I called because of the vague email stating I would get a refund. No answer as to my EIN, no answer as to the status of my LLC. Just a cowardly vague response about a refund. This is not over! Don’t waste your time, do it on your own. Lawsuit coming!!

I thought I could trust LegalZoom because they completed a previous order without incident. So I put in an order for a DBA on June 16, 2023. It is now November 29, 2023. I called them months ago to ask why they didn't update my order after I sent them signed documents. I remember the guy on phone saying he'd update my order. It still hasn't been updated. Recently, I've contacted LegalZoom three times to find out what stage my order is in. Each time, they promised to give me an email update within a certain amount of time. The emails are not in my inbox. Maybe they somehow didn't make it to my inbox, but it's more likely LegalZoom never sent them. One customer service employee told me I couldn't get a refund because my order was over 60 days old. I'm fed up and feel ripped off. Never trust LegalZoom.

I had the same terrible experience as Edward in which I asked for help with a DBA. They told me it was in process. They asked for additional forms in which you have to do all the work they don’t do any of the work. It is just as well to do it on your own, in addition, they charge me 7.99 a month for “legal experts” help which I was not aware I was signing up for and never used. When I realized I was being charged, I tried to cancel online which is not possible, tried to cancel over chat, which is not possible and the only way to cancel is to call their 800 number and I waited 15 minutes before somebody picked up the phone and canceled and would not even cancel a pending charge for the upcoming month. I would never use the service again.

Alexis was awesome. Help me out with what I needed to do and learn from getting my business moving. She was definitely knowledgeable and everything that she was talking about. She help me get the final tax ID number that I needed for the state. She did a great job, I would recommend her to anybody for help.

Great online support that guided me thru the process and provided critical follow-up. So glad I chose LegalZoom. Very professional service and fair pricing. There are many online companies offering services much cheaper but then they will buckle and dime you or are not attorney led. Don’t get ripped off. Go with a reputable company that has been in business for years.

Today I was so impressed by the process of registering my LLC. My agent was so helpful and kind, she helped me with any questions I had and really supported my needs. I am so grateful for everyone at Legal Zoom and for Agnes who made my day but being so helpful and nice.

Setup was quick online, followed by an immediate phone call to finalize and ask if there were any additional questions. Very fast and easy. Great support, easy to set up webpage, email, etc. I recommend this to others.

I called Legal Zoom and within the hour had my new LLC set up, all my questions asked, felt comfortable and confident with the process. I highly recommend! They’ll say it takes 15 minutes but it doesn’t. Be prepared to spend 45 minutes or so because you will have questions. It’s worth it and it’s done! I had the rep stay on the phone with me and fill out the forms for me. That was easiest and best because I did have many questions along the way.

Have to give credit where credit is due. They came back after my review and righted their wrong by refunding the bogus charge. They are not scam artists after all, but they need to train their customer service people much better.

LegalZoom provided me with a faulty license not accepted by my Customer(s). I was forced to file an amendment (and paid the fees to expedite given the lost time and ability to continue business operations) which I have yet to receive. They are in breach of contract, have essentially stolen my funds at this point and have no means of making contact less a call center staffed by incompetent and argumentative personnel. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, FBI and if you have had a similar experience, please feel free to make contact as this seems to be the norm for "services" and "customer satisfaction".

Legal Zoom contacted me today and has agreed to refund me for the order I didn’t receive. I’m very thankful they chose to and am happy we got this issue resolved because I hate bad reviews. I was very upset yesterday but happy we resolved the issue.

I filed for an expedited non-profit corporation in California. I paid $900 for the expedited service. I filed in December of 2022. I still do not have the non-profit. I paid $200 extra for the filing in California and having them represent me and notify me. The first 6 months I received my EIN and I was told the non-profit was in progress. After four months, I received an email stating there was additional paper required which I filled out. Please note LegalZoom only offers directions, you do the work. I filled out the forms, created the Articles of Incorporation and the by-laws.

Legal Zoom stole $299 from me in the month of October 2023 from a debit card that had expired in April 2023. After several calls, they told me that they were going to return the money in 3 to 5 days, but it couldn't be done because the card expired. I called again and they told me that they were going to send it to me by mail, more than 10 days passed and nothing. I called again and they told me that there is no refund pending that the refunds policy is before 30 days after payment, which indicates that I claimed on the same day that the money was stolen from my card and they told me it is 30 days from the first time I made the transaction in 2021. Is this serious, thieves, I do not recommend to anyone. What they do is collect money and they do nothing for you. They are useless. They are garbage.

I was charged $280 for a renewal of subscription for compliance review. I was never notified that the subscription was coming up for renewal as I would have cancelled it. I called the day I was charged and requested a refund as the business is no longer operating. I was told that they have an ongoing problem with customers being charged for subscription renewals by the representative I spoke to and she assured me I would be getting the refund. Two days later I received an email denying the refund request because I did not request a refund within 30 days.

Nobody bothers to answer the phone or chat during business hours. I called every day during the weekday, had to listen to their stupid phone music for hours and nobody bothered to answer the phone. Are they still in business?

My wife has a LegalZoom account where she filed for her LLC. As part of it we selected the Legal Zoom Tax Plan which charges $100 a month. A few months after creating the account we realized we wouldn't need the Tax Plan and called in to cancel. We were told that the terms and conditions of the Tax Plan only allow them to not renew the plan but cannot cancel. So now we're stuck paying $100 a month for the next 7 months.

It truly has been most difficult to set up our nonprofit. We should have gone with a local attorney. LZ directions are difficult to follow, and heaven help one if one has to contact them! It’s as if they do not wish to bother with you AFTER they have your money. I am most discouraged.

I purchased my LLC for my small business through Legal Zoom 10/2021. I selected the option of having Legal Zoom perform as my Registered Agent as part of my LLC package which cost over $800. I wish I would've known better than to select such a thing, because you could list anyone (even yourself) as a registered agent of your business. Anyway, up until now I have allowed LZ to collect their $299 annual fee, with the explanation that they cannot cancel the service until I file someone else as my Registered Agent and show proof.

I paid LegalZoom to file a dissolution of the company they helped me set up. After several months, they concluded I needed to file my annual report with the SOS which I paid them to do. Once that was complete, they never filed the dissolution paperwork despite many assurances. It sat until I needed to file another annual report. I paid them to file the report and after almost six months, they have not filed it. So now I have two outstanding orders. I decided to write this review because I have been waiting for 30 minutes to talk to someone.

A manager from the escalation team reached out and was able to help solve the issue which I have to commend LegalZoom for. They did the right thing in my experience which I feel obligated to share.

I hired LegalZoom for a simple name change for my kids. When we got to the courthouse they said we couldn't use the forms because they did them wrong. After telling us how to do it right we called legalzoom and asked for them to fix it so we could finish. They lied and said 2 forms are needed for 2 kids. So they can double charge. The city has stated that both kids are one family and should be on 1 form. They refuse to do it. And refuse to refund. Lacking knowledge and lying to get additional money from customer as opposed to helping them. Worst customer service I had had all year from any business. They double charged me and then did it wrong.

She was prompt to answer, had answers to all my questions and exhibited a thorough understanding of the process. She pointed me to the correct place to find all the information I needed and gave me good timelines relative to completion of my project.

Benjamin was not only knowledgeable, and understanding of what I needed, he was upbeat and patient as we muddled through me understanding what needed to be done and the services LegalZoom provides. He was able to direct me to the correct people to take care of issues that he wasn't familiar with.

The customer assistance I received from Ashley was timely, responsible, and professional. She met my customer service expectations, even though I was annoyed by the system not accepting my payment. Very smooth, professional, fluent service that meet the need of the customer in establishing LLC services, etc. Representative professionalism was good. He was very clear in communicating and gave to me much clarity as to what to expect. I like that he kept feedback of my inquiries brief, but very clear. I recommend Legal Zoom to anyone who want to get their desired business, trademark or etc. off to a start.

Other than the potential wait time, LegalZoom is great but that just means so many people trust this business!!! Worth the few minutes you might have to wait. The rep Jessica I had to wonderful opportunity to chat with, was very nice and extremely helpful with the questions I had.

On 9/24/23 I purchased LegalZoom for around $500 and almost a month Iater… I have not received any documents. My LLC is in complete limbo. My contract is now in jeopardy and all that I have been working towards is now at risk. I call multiple times a week and I have not been able to get legitimate answers on my business status. I requested to speak to managers several times and I am told that they will call me back in an hour. I cannot recommend this service to anyone as it has been painful and I am truly being given the runaround. This was supposed to be a simplified process but it has just been frustrating. I see that others have had success but they definitely dropped the ball with me in a major way. Totally disgusted with this service.

I started an LLC through Legal Zoom in 2022, and decided shortly after that starting a business wasn't the right path for me at the time. I dissolved my LLC through Legal Zoom, and verbally requested to cancel ALL services and subscriptions. A year later, last week, I received an auto-payment of $249 for Registered Agent services. After calling Legal Zoom to request a refund and explanation, only then did they complete the cancellation of my Registered Agent services, despite requesting to cancel everything a year ago. When I asked for a full refund, they said they could only refund me 30%. I refused this and requested to speak to a supervisor.

I've encountered a frustrating inconsistency in the information provided by various customer service representatives. They each gave me different delivery dates, and one of them claimed to have opened a case with the promise of a follow-up email within 24-48 hours. Unfortunately, I haven't received any follow-up, and this experience has left me extremely disappointed with the customer service.

In 2022, my business journey began, and I found myself in the unfamiliar territory of not knowing what a registered agent was. Trusting in LegalZoom's expertise, I followed their advice and decided to have them serve as my registered agent, even though I initially inquired about the possibility of being my own agent. This choice came with a $300 annual fee.

Bought the new all-encompassing business package. They missed filing one permit and the city quickly shut me down. LegalZoom did not step up to make it right and instead ran away from the problem. I lost my entire family savings due to their incompetence without even an attempt to make it right with me. I had to move six hours away becauseoif the embarrassment in the community. Avoid using LegalZoom and don’t assume they will be there when things go south.

After using LegalZoom because I thought it would time effective and cost efficient I created an LLC. Since then I have been charged for every extra you can think of that is needed and and some I didn’t know were needed. As I am not an expert, fairly sure some are not needed, but you are not dealing with a live person, you are checking boxes you may not be qualified to check. Now I consistently get emails and respond to them but continue to get follow up emails as if no one received the response. When you call to get to the bottom of their urgent emails if you have already created an order (aka - already paid for the service) you will wait no less then 30 on hold bc they have very few people servicing the clients that have paid for a service.

I just had the worst experience with them. They have zero customer care... After only using the service once 6 months ago, they rejected my request of cancelling the auto-renewal because I didn't file within 30 days in advance, which was NOT clearly specified when I signed up to it. All attendees showed zero interest in providing a solution and simply ignored the fact that the service has not being used for awhile. I feel companies that fail to provide the basic of customer care do not deserve their customer, and also this clearly reflects on their overall service level and how different departments will treat their customers.

I dissolved my LLC in 2021 and notified LegalZoom. Now..2 years later they are saying I owe them for RA Services. I received an email on July 15th 2021 from LZ confirming the cancelation. Now they are telling me...TWO YEARS later that they can't cancel to RA Service unless I provide proof. I'm not going through this again because THEY are incompetent. I'm sick and tired of companies that make it virtually impossible to cancel a service.

I was contacted by a member of LegalZoom's customer escalation team and they made it right and resolved my issues.

I use Legal Zoom to build a LLC. At the time of my checkout it was $249 and everything was fine, after that they charge me two times that amount without my permission, I did talk with them and nothing solve yet. They told me to wait and that everything was explained on the small letters on the bottom of the page, really that is not fine to hide or make this like a trap for customers. Why?

My experience with Legalzoom was a real blessing. The person that I dealt with was very professional and kind and helpful. She went above what I expected. I would recommend to anyone! Even when our chat window mysteriously disappeared, the person on the other end took the time out of her busy schedule to call me back and continue to help me!

I've never felt the need to write a review of any person or product before, but Davey went above and beyond to help me. I'm starting my LLC and very stressed out about all the legality and tax codes. Davey provided the absolute best customer service I've ever had. I was only able to stump him once, and rather then give me a half answer he directed me to someone that would know more. I'm recommending him to everyone in my office and anyone stressed about taxes or starting a business. 10/10. Couldn't ask for a better rep. My daughter and I both used Legalzoom for obtaining our LLCs and always have a pleasant experience with knowledgeable agents!

I started my dba in May. It's mid June now and still not active. It's stuck in the processing stage. Need more info. 2 weeks I went to the county clerk to get a notary. They won't accept anyone but them and I filed directly there. I called to tell them I overnighted the pkg. Man said they will call Friday and process it. Then he did not. The next guy who answered said it might been his day off and he can do anything till Tuesday.

My receipt from Legal Zoom says 10 Membership Certificates are included. After 5 calls to customer service (the 4th of which was answered by someone who could not speak English well enough to know that I was telling her that I could not understand her), I was told that the receipt was a mistake and those certificates were not included, but I could purchase them if I wanted.

Charged $119 for a DBA, spelled the name wrong, then required purchase of PREMIUM DBA for $129 to correct. Promised refund of BOTH amounts. Now won't refund the promised premium fee because they "don't do things for free". Worse, DBA available online in State for $10. Does Legalzoom not understand the law?

I applied for a DBA last May 2022. I was able to send my NOTARIZED DOCUMENT last AUGUST 2022. I sent a couple and every time I would receive an e-mail that something is wrong.. So I call and after the 4th time, an agent finally pointed out I am missing a signature where others never mentioned. It's already JUNE 2023 and we’re DOING EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING AGAIN. I’ve been wanting to cancel this process months ago but I don’t see how to cancel.

I thought LegalZoom would be the easiest way to file documents for a new entity. Turns out I was wrong about that. I have had to make about 10 phone calls only to continually be told that they'll have to call me back. They placed my documents on hold and nobody can tell me why. I paid for expedited service and it's been about 3 weeks. So much for turning to the 'professionals' for this. Completely unacceptable level of service. The lack of communication, their lack of diligence and their laxed attitude about my legal documents is irresponsible at best.

This company completely stinks. I've been trying cancel my service with them for over 4 months. After hours and hours on the phone the lady said we can't cancel because we are required to have it because we are a business. Since I have other businesses I know for a fact this is not true. She said she had to contact the government to see if I could cancel.. lol.. After 2 days she finally called back and said she would cancel but she never did so I reversed the charges on my account. Then they told the credit card company that I never canceled. So now I'm stuck with a $299.00 bill and apparently there's nothing I can do. They have free range to my credit card and can charge me $299 every year and I can't cancel. Screw you Legalzoom. I wish I could sue you.

Before you investment in this service ask all your questions. When I call them, they never call me back. I scheduled a few appointments on their site, and they never show up or call me. I call them and I don't get anywhere. I just met someone at a business networking event this past week and she had trouble with them.

My husband formed our LLC through LegalZoom in Aug 2018. Up until this point, we hadn’t used them for anything additional than being listed as our registered agent and the compliance calendar for $299/year. Fast forward to Sept 2022 - we filed an LLC amendment with LegalZoom to change the name and address of the business. They state their standard turnaround time for these types of filings are about 30 days.

Called to cancel my subscription $160/mo. Had the PLLC name registered Jan 2022...signed up for the tax services...never actually used the LLC or services. Was told on their recorded line, that I would be refunded for the payments made so far this year, since I didn't use them. GREAT! I'm happier. I was just looking to cancel. 2 transfers later I'm being told "you are not allowed to cancel until January 2024, you have to complete the full year of payments." Never would I advise to use them, they created one account for me over a year ago, which my new accountant made and registered a LLC for me for $100...LEGALZOOM IS THE WORST. Stealing Money, take the win. You got paid to do a simple task one-time. Now you are greedy this is a shameful way to operate. I will go out of my way now to ensure no one I know uses LEGALZOOM for anything.

I placed an order in early March 2023 for an LLC ($299) and after a while with no progress being made, in mid-April I called their customer service team who told me that the order was still in progress and to wait while they file paperwork. Still nothing happened so I called back in May and they tried to get me to cancel and replace my order as there must have been a system glitch and that there has been no progress on my order since order creation. I will not do business with LegalZoom again as this is not the first negative encounter I have had with them. Do not use LegalZoom.

I am so frustrated with the service I’ve received at Legal Zoom. They promise certain timelines and nothing is ever moving forward…. Go somewhere else for 501c3 if you don’t want to go insane. I follow up with calls and that doesn’t help either.

Legal Zoom just made lose quite some money on delaying a ease and quick process in obtaining a product that they offer in their website. A error was found on the application and they never get back. I call them to fix and guess what, they did the same thing over again. After realizing that something was wrong due to delay I decided to call them to see that needed action, but they don't let you know. Seriously! I call them twice to fix the same error they did in a row, still waiting. Come on Legal Zoom? Lesson Learned.

They upsell on everything like for me I didn't have my DBA (doing business as) yet they told me I could add it later. I said ok. Now they want to charge me for that as well. They have hidden fees for everything. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Got a refund for LegalZoom's registered agent after I switched the registered agent over to myself. As stated before the company is great for setting up your business. It's very simple. But just watch out for any future subscriptions that may be attached to it.

They make it seem like you are only paying $1 for an LLC but then in the small print it says that you will be charged $250 to make them a registered agent for your company. My receipt had $1 as what I would be paying and my balance was $0 but then I was charged $250 a day later! So messed up. When I called to get that refunded the lady on the phone was so rude telling me that I was the one that messed up. She gaslit me into thinking I made a mistake but when I went back and looked I was right. Don't use this company! They are incredibly sneaky about getting money from you. You can be your own registered agent for free!

LegalZoom does great business and provides real value to their customers. Tim was awesome! He was extremely supportive and excited about my business, knew things in fine detail about LegalZoom and the options, and offered lots of value to me and my company.

I contacted Legalzoom to get assistance with my inactive business which I started years ago. Life happened and I could not focus on the business and getting it set up properly. I had gotten a little behind on my fees. After a recent layoff and having the time to focus on what I wanted to do, I wanted to keep my business, keep legalzoom as my registered agent, but I also wanted to change my business name and the vision of my business. Michael was my agent and he was sooo helpful with providing me with solutions for all three and letting me know it can be done. It allowed me some breathing room with limited resources and a new way to getting the ball rolling on my business milestones. I've been with Legal Zoom for four years, have recommended them to others and I don't see myself ever starting any business and not leaning on their services.

Legal zoom offers incredibly expensive tax preparation for small businesses hidden behind a deceptively worded "monthly" fee you can only cancel once a year. And if you ever do cancel they may refuse to do the taxes you already paid them for. At least they did for me. The service is also terrible. Incredibly unresponsive customer service. It would probably be easier and faster just to do your own taxes. Basically a scam, do not use.

LegalZoom used to be very reasonable in filing Trademark applications, we did a few of them by them. Recently, they increased their prices and they have an Attorney of theirs help with the Trademark application. The USPTO requires one to register the use of the Trademark between the 5th & 6th year and again every 10 years. When we contacted LegalZoom to do the USPTO Registration, they said that they don't do those and we should contact an Attorney that does Trademarks. That is very unfair, If they process the initial Trademark application they should have attorneys that do the USPTO Registrations as well.

We hired LegalZoom for filling a Trademark. From the beginning, their focus on filing the application as quickly and easily as possible, and used a cookie cutter approach. They tried to talk us into trademarking the 'logo' instead of the 'name', because it's easier. We pushed back and went with trademarking the brand. Then as soon as USPTO had questions about our application they dropped us as client, because going back and forth isn't worth it for them. They are like the Fast Fast Food industry except it's with legal work. In the same way, fast food it's unhealthy for you, their hiring them can be very costly.

LegalZoom told me that the registered agent service I hired was not on the Texas state registry as a registered agent and that they were in "bad standing with the state". LegalZoom offered their Registered Agent Service instead. After contacting the Texas Secretary of State, it turns out their statements about the other company were outright lies. There is no state Registered Agent Registry and there is no such thing as a registered agent being in "bad standing" with the state of Texas. The woman at the Texas Secretary of State office explained that they get these questions every day from LegalZoom clients. She recommended I consider if I want to use a company that provides false information to try to sell their services. LegalZoom has a business name that sounds official and "legal" but clearly they border on being criminals more than legal... I say AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

We used LegalZoom to register an LLC in Delaware back in November 2022. Everything started out fine, but a "paperwork error" when they filed for the LLC meant that the business was deleted. There was no notification to us and we were trying to launch a new business that is seasonal in nature. It was only when we attempted to set up bank and merchant accounts in January 2023, we noticed that process was failing because the LLC did not exist.

My experience with Marlena was pleasant, she was patient, informative and professional. It's important to keep the human experience. It makes a customer feel like the company truly cares about the success of their clients. All of the agents I've spoken to have all been great to work with.

Legal Zoom is an easy process. They have great customer service. The cost is reasonable. I would use them again. They are readily available to answer your questions. Terance in particular was very helpful in explaining the process. My cousin recommended them to me, and I am grateful that she did!

Easy process for a delicate matter. The cost was more than I expected. However, I was lucky and received help from a Legal Zoom representative. It took less than twenty minutes. He even gave me his direct line so I could reach him whenever.

LegalZoom took my money in September for a corporation filing. In November I called to check the status and they told me I needed to email my license. I stayed on the phone while the employee of legal zoom received my license. She told me she received it and pushed it through so I should be receiving my package in the mail. Z now we are in February a whole new year. I have continuously called legal zoom. Today they told me they were pushing that license through. I waiting all these months and they simply forgot to push my license through although I called multiple times and they said it was being mailed and everything was done. The worst. Never emailed or called. Nothing. I asked for a refund and they stated because it was after 120 days they could not. It’s after 130 days because I’ve been waiting for legal zoom. Scammers.

The worst company. We are a law firm and we are stopping working with LegalZoom. Four weeks after the start, our case (LLC creation) has made absolutely no progress. However, we paid for the premium service. Each time, LegalZoom tells us that there is a problem with the registered agent. This would not be accepted by the Florida administration. Ok, but it's up to LegalZoom to sort out beforehand. It's up to you to check and give us instructions. But that's not the worst. What's worse is that when corrective information is sent to LegalZoom in response to its emails, they are not read. The customer must then spend long periods of time on the phone to let them know that he has sent them an email. It's not serious, it's not professional. We lost money and time.

On January 3rd I purchased the help of Legal Zoom to set up my LLC. I made the mistake of purchasing a founders kit from them for $70. I never received it. I received a paper folder with my documents. I have called four times and submitted requests online several times and I cannot speak with anyone from the United States and nobody has helped. They all tell me the same thing, "it is being reviewed, we will get back to you" but nobody ever does. I would advise not to use LegalZoom as their customer service is terrible. I will never do business with them, I initially wanted this founders kit but now I just want my $70 back.

I had a very pleasant experience with Representative Damon, I had misunderstood something on my document and was very confused about it. Damond was very helpful and patient in explaining the situation and simplified it so I could understand. I recommend LegalZoom to anyone looking to start a new business.

I did not file the annual report and she was so excellent take care of my profile. I forgot and I did not know the My annual report is in January 1 of every year and the audit things on a May and October and she was so good. She took her time and she perfectly explained it to me a month I have to pay. She explain it how much each separately and it was excellent and I’m so happy she was helping me. Thank you for everything.

One more thing off the list... Very happy to have chosen Legal Zoom and I feel like I received a very well rounded product/service for my money. I don't have time to waste so I'm very pleased with how streamlined the process has been so far with LegalZoom to go from Sole Proprietor to S-Corp.

He did not try to oversell LegalZoom's tax plans - but instead let me know that they were an option and available to me at any time. This helped build my trust with LegalZoom so much that I am here giving it a THUMBS UP! review. I highly recommend.

I have using the divorce and platinum service since April 2022. It is currently December 2022 and the service has been a nightmare. It takes days or weeks to get a response and this has been by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

I opened an account with LegalZoom in November 2022 and paid LegalZoom $360 (3/mth installment) for an LLC application. I provided LegalZoom with the correct information/address of my LLC location in Bridgeport CT. LegalZoom submitted an incorrect address to the Secretary of the State of CT and blamed the state of CT for the incorrect address. When I contacted LegalZoom, they promised to make the correct address change in 10 business days. I never received a response from legalZoom about the correct address change. When I contacted LegalZoom 17 days after, the correct address change was still not done.

He is an exceptional employee with professionalism. His knowledge is extensive but concise and he shares it in an understandable way. Not even my attorney followed up as Earl did. Please know you are lucky to have him. Lori A **

The very first step of the package included a phone call after payment on November 10th 2022 that LegalZoom set with me from 5:05 P.M. EST to 5:20 P.M. EST with Anna (Appointment ID: **). I waited for hours and no phone call from LegalZoom per their scheduled time per their email. I called in at a later time that day to cancel my package because they literally did not follow through on their scheduled phone call which was the very first step of many in their “Trademark Package.“ So, I have been waiting on my refund (7-10 days) and nothing has posted to my credit card.

This is a TERRIBLE company, do not be fooled. Their false advertisement is a lawsuit waiting to send them bankrupt. DO NOT PAY the extra fee for the expedited process, it is just a way for them to legally steal your money. The employees are great but their general manager and operations manager should be FIRED! The company runs terrible, they do not do what they charge for and end up making you file claims with your credit card company. Use any other option available other than LegalZoom, they're TERRIBLE!

Opened an LLC with Legalzoom and wasn't too sure what to expect. Received a call very Quickly from Jackie and must say that she is very professional. She took her time to go over everything and did not rush anything. I am very happy with my decision to use Legalzoom to set up my LLC.

The registered agent was excellent. Answered all my questions to the best of his knowledge. Did not however dare to step outside what he was legally obligated to do, answer any further questions having to do with registering my company for specific tax purposes. Great job but nothing above and beyond.

Before you sign up for LegalZoom get your own registered agent or become one yourself (super easy) or they WILL charge you $250+ and waste hours of your time. Recently set up an LLC and they didn’t charge for the agent in your initial billing cycle they sneak it in after they’ve signed themselves up at it and submitted it to the state (too late to change). I was assured once it was submitted I could switch it over to my own and they’d refund all my charges. Currently in an over hour wait time becoming increasingly annoyed as they tell me there will be a charge to amend it and transferred me to another department when I complained 0 stars.
