So far, I've formed four businesses and I'm using a trademark service and I'm using the DBA service of LegalZoom. They have a registered agent that I'm paying for. It seems like everything else has been smooth. The only problem I'm having with LegalZoom is that I'm still confused. I thought that they would help me with my business licenses, but they just put this broad spectrum of stuff, whether it applies to me or not. That's the only thing I don't like. And having the attorney.

Legal Zoom gave us a refund because we weren’t happy with the trust we had purchased.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I wrote up a will with no difficulty. After reviewing it, we decided to make one slight change - adding some information to the description of an item for a specific bequest. When I saved the new version with that one change, the site would not let me access it in any way. I raised the issue with customer service four times over the course of a week. Not once did I get an answer as to what was happening. In two instances, including once when I escalated to a manager, I was made specific assurances that they would get back to me. To this day, the issue has not been resolved, and none of the people who said they would bet back to me have done so.

I paid LegalZoom to form an s-corporation for me. The online application was easy to use, however, the employees behind the scenes do NOT seem to know what they are doing as my filing with California Secretary of State was rejected three times due to incorrect California selections made by LegalZoom. LegalZoom emailed me three times after each rejection from the Secretary of State asking ME to provide them with the correct CA information needed.

I was setting up a business, and my accountant said LegalZoom was affordable and pretty straightforward. I set it up but I haven't done anything with the business yet. I haven't had any problems, though, with LegalZoom and I would go with them again.

LegalZoom's marketing put a marker in my mind until I needed services that they provide. The only service I've ever used of theirs was facilitating an LLC. I didn't know much about forming an LLC, and I wanted to take the easy route this time. They provided a checklist and a list of things to be aware of and be mindful of. They were like, "Oh, by the way, we can help you with this. Here's some references where to go to manage this outside of something that the LegalZoom could do for you.” They gave me insight and reference.

If there was a zero, that would be my rating for sure. Please do not pay for expedited process at all, it is pure scam, they have no idea what that is and it is just to get you to pay more. The process is slow, this is the worst response time I have ever had when filing for LLC. I would not recommend this company to anyone except you have a year to file for LLC. If time and being taken serious matters to you, go somewhere else.

I was happy with the documents I received, but do not bother trying to chat with their so-called support. You will get somebody clueless who clearly lives on another continent. They will not be able to help you no matter how simple your question is.

I paid LegalZoom to setup my new LLC in 2021, I have been trying to terminate this SUBSCRIPTION for years. Year two of fighting with their subscription team, Legal Zoom will not TERMINATE THE $399 SUBSCRIPTION unless I DISSOLVE my business!! DO NOT BE HELD HOSTAGE BY LEGAL ZOOM! Hire anyone else who will be ethical. Legal Zoom has a bad reputation on their termination scam.

I am a customer for 6 years now. I used LegalZoom before for another company I had started, and I recently used them again for an LLC formation. It was pretty seamless from beginning to end. Very quick, clear steps and guidance. I am aware of key deadlines and I get assistance with getting things filed. However, at the end of the day, it's kind of pricey.

I used LegalZoom when I opened an LLC, and then I had to get a business license. They're very good and very easy to work with. LegalZoom is efficient and proficient. They know what they're doing, and they're super easy to work with, but they're also cost-effective. I would highly recommend them. I will use them again if I ever need some services again.

I've used LegalZoom before for a quitclaim deed. I used their service again for a trust. It was a little frustrating. The biggest problem I had was when I typed in specifics under my trust. I had room to type how I wanted things done and when I reviewed it, it didn't come out the way I typed it. It was like there was no space between the period and the next letter. It was all combined. So, I spoke to three different people, which started to annoy me. It's like, "Hello, look at it. I'm telling you what's happening. That's not professional. I'm not going to submit this paperwork like this."

My husband and I have used Legalzoom for various purposes throughout the years. The earliest time we used them was when they were a new company. It's not something that we use every day, but I've personally used them three times while my husband's used them several times. They've all been very positive experiences. My husband created some LLCs through them. Recently, I also went to Legalzoom to create an LLC, then I followed that up by adding the Doing Business As to my LLC.

Legalzoom has been good so far. I was trying to get my LLC going, and a friend told me I could have done it on my own, but it was very complicated. He suggested Legalzoom and said that everybody was going through them. I paid the fee and they handled everything. They helped me start an LLC and while I know that for a fact that they're not that cheap, that's the cost of doing certain things. It's like when people don't wanna clean their house, so they gotta pay someone to do it and they can't complain about it if they don't wanna do it. People have to charge for their services. I've seen other stuff that's cheaper, but at the time, Legalzoom was the only option I knew. I've been a customer since August 2022 and I'm happy with the service.

LegalZoom created my LLC and took care of all the paperwork with the state. I didn't have to file anything. The process of getting everything done was super quick. It was within three days. They did excellent and communicating with them was very easy.

I was looking into doing an LLC and LegalZoom seemed like the simplest among the companies I came across on Facebook. I opened the LLC with LegalZoom in October and I got my address box and 1-800 number. I’m also working on creating an email and possibly a webpage. It’s been about four months, and I’m still at this stage. I’m filing my income taxes and I’m supposed to include it, even though I haven’t made any money. I need to call Maryland Taxation to let them know I opened the LLC in October and find out if I owe anything, since I haven’t done anything with it. LegalZoom doesn’t say everything when you open up an LLC. It's not as easy as they make it seem. I gotta look into Taxation because they don’t tell you about that. I haven't used this LLC yet, but I'm due to pay taxes. Now, I’m trying to find a registered agent and figure out how much tax I have to pay.

The Legal Zoom software stopped me in my tracks when it provided no way to enter the Canadian address of the person I have selected as the executor of my estate. It insists on a U.S. address and won't allow me to proceed without it. I'll try to contact them for a workaround but right now I fear that I may have wasted my money on this service.

I used LegalZoom a couple of times. Doing business with them was very enjoyable. They're very thorough. I'll use them again.

LegalZoom was good. They help you out and walk you through the hard parts. It was a little daunting doing a trust, but they were great. The only part that wasn't good was they wanted the title to go through GOdeeds all the way across the country when we could just walk it into our local county building to get our deed certified. They wanted an extra $350 to do that, when you could walk it into your local county office and have them do it for $5. So, we sent it all the way across the country, and it got lost. But LegalZoom was good for the price. They were very helpful. They were there all the time and they answered the phone right away. They were very polite too.

This company operates more like a scam. *Save* yourself money and time and just go with a regular accountant. After 2-3 years of using the service I truly don't see the value they've provided.

Working with LegalZoom was very easy and convenient. The total process took about 45 minutes. I would refer people I know to their page. They can access it themselves online instead of going out to get somebody else. It's very easy to understand.

A co-worker recommended LegalZoom to me. They told me it was pretty good. I tried it out and it worked out for me as well. LegalZoom helped me out and the last time I used them was when I did a quitclaim deed for one of my properties. The experience was very pleasant. They were very knowledgeable and got me to the right people. They took care of all my needs.

I used LegalZoom for the ease of doing DBA. They have a very easy online process. It is easy to understand and they have clear directions. It also happened quickly without a pain. I'd recommend them.

My daughter-in-law took care of the initial signup for me, but we worked on it together, then my husband and I went back through the document. He made any changes to it that he thought fit. The signup process was very easy. People just have to remember that if they're done with the lawyer service that they'll have to call and cancel that. It was presented very well in a package and I was very pleased with the process.

Very unprofessional. They said they closed my LLC for me and took care of everything, only to find out 8 years later I have four years worth of fees. $600.00!!! I had to pay $600.00 because of their mistake to the state of Arkansas. And all they had to say was they have no record of me talking to them. That's funny considering somehow they stopped taking payments. I wonder why... because I told them to close it out! I had to pay four years of Franchise fee because they failed to file with the state that my LLC had been closed.

I purchased the Pro package to set up an LLC. The EIN and State Certificate of organization went smoothly and arrived quickly. After that, the amount of upsells they try to push on you is overwhelming. In addition, twice I had calls scheduled with an attorney to review documents and questions and never received the call. Their customer service stinks.....trying to get a live person on the phone is impossible and through their chat help, all they did was try to get me to make an appointment to schedule another call.

My accountant suggested using Legal Zoom register an LLC for my business. I was quoted $395 they then charged me the next month for a state filing of an additional $199. This was neither discussed or authorized. Now they are charging me another unauthorized fee of $49/mo for legal forms and "can't" cancel until next month. Scam!

I realized LegalZoom's price was right to do my trust, so they've helped me do it since 2020. I switched beneficiaries twice. It was 39.95 to do that. I called LegalZoom and paid them. Very professional and nice people. I talked to one lady there for an hour and a half before we got into doing it. It was a nice chat. I have told others to go to LegalZoom to do their trust.

I've used LegalZoom three times before and I was satisfied. We got our 501(c)(3) done recently through them and it was good. I recommend LegalZoom to people that wanna get it done fast and accurate.

The platform charged me twice. The only way to cancel and get my money back was to call their customer service as online will only cancel future recurring orders. I was on hold with them for over an hour. Once I got to a person, I was disconnected and had to call again. When I got to them, they put me on hold again and again. The cancellation process was over 2 hours. There are many other online services that do what LegalZoom does. I found their business practices to be predatory and their customer service incredibly rude.

We needed legal advice on establishing a Doing Business As, a DBA, and LegalZoom was recommended by an acquaintance. Initially, it's simple and thorough, fast, legal, done. But when I initiated a call, it was difficult to get through. When they initiated calls, they were keeping me up to speed and I really didn't have any questions. But when I did, it was difficult.

Horrible service, do stay away. I bought one of their services which they were unable to fulfill and refuse to give me a refund. It was a simple name change of my LLC. They refused to refund after making me call their customer service and wasting hours. It's one thing refusing to refund but why make me jump through hoops to tell me no. Horrible company, DO NOT BUY.

I know of several individuals who have used LegalZoom and that's how I was encouraged to go ahead and use their services. I used them for my 501(c)(3). Once you've applied and you set it up they said it would be 90 days before I would hear back if I qualify for the exemption and it only took 30 days.

LegalZoom looked into the formation of my business license. They update me when it’s time to renew my annual operating agreement. They're always on top of stuff and my experience has been very good. Whoever works there, they are very knowledgeable. It’s easy to communicate with them and they give you the tools that you need to perform your business and make sure it’s in good standing.

Went through Legal Zoom in 2024 to start my business. Well after certain situation happened I moved out of the state my LLC was registered for. I called legal zoom to end my yearly subscription in October of 2025. They "needed" to check my business status. Well because my business was still active, they literally refused to end my subscription. They still kept trying to take the money off of my card even though I told them to end my subscription. So in December of 2025 I called again to end it and the lady wanted to basically make it out to be where I could not so I told her I was getting an attorney to sue them because it is theft after I wanted it ended. She argued with me for a second and I told her that legal zoom was fired from being my legal representative and if she didn't end it I would make it a real legal matter and after getting really angry and yelling that I don't want them anymore she finally did as I asked.

I used LegalZoom several years back for a power of attorney and other legal matters. Recently, I used their services again to change my trust. The primary benefit of doing business with them is that I now have a valid trust, a power of attorney and a couple of other things that I needed. Their customer service was great, one girl stayed on the line with me while I changed my trust which was very helpful. I have no problems at all with them.

I use LegalZoom for the business registration like forming an LLC. They get the job done and their prices seem reasonable. LegalZoom seemed easier to use right on the website.

Be aware with Legal Zoom. They will take your money and not follow through. If you pay for expedited services they will only file standard and keep your money. These people are terrible and do not follow through on their promises. Search ChatGPT. It will tell you exactly how to do your own filings without paying this company to take your money and sit on the order when you [paid to expedite. Terrible.

My business is up and running, and I am compliant with state and federal legal requirements. LegalZoom didn't have everything I needed, but that's okay. I’ll have to file for taxes with the state. They don’t do payroll. But I’ve used them before and they’ve been great both times. It was easy to communicate with them.

I subscribed to LegalZoom to prepare documents with the intention of taking it to a lawyer for review. We had an estate meeting with the family and our kids wanted us to do a trust. The sales and marketing process was simple and straightforward, and the price felt about one-quarter of the price of a lawyer. It was also easier for me to use LegalZoom on my own schedule than rushing back and forth to a lawyer. The person I talked to, Estee, was exceptional. There was one line that the person who prepared my deed wanted included in one of the documents, and with a bit of drama, they sent us a non-PDF version so I could amend it to the wording needed. It all went well, the documents were accurate, and I got the job done that my kids wanted me to do in creating a trust.

We were looking at starting a nonprofit, so we did some work with LegalZoom. We did the business with them, but we had some other circumstances come up, so we had to cancel. But they were efficient, polite, and professional. They did a really good job on both ends. We were really impressed. I've also recommended them already to other people.

Whenever I need a short, simple document without the hassle, that you'd like to just hop on your computer, draft what's necessary into the form and be on your way instead of having to go and meet with an attorney in their office, I think of LegalZoom. Naming their company something that makes it very easy for the consumer to understand who they are and what they do, they executed that.

I'd been wanting to do something for a long time. The wife grew up in years and didn't want our daughter to have to deal with anything if something happens to us. I talked to a couple of different ladies in LegalZoom, and had questions prior to the attorney consultation. And they couldn't have been more helpful. The conversations were very cordial and they answered the questions. It was a great experience. They were very professional and immediately available. They exceeded my expectations and I got peace of mind.

Doing business with LegalZoom gives me peace of mind. I'd hate to have to pay a full-blown corporation or a local business to do simple quarterly documents for us.

It took two weeks. But I didn't have to take time out of my day to go and apply for the EIN, register the company, and structure it. They took care of all that for me. So I saved time with that. If you're gonna start their company, then apply for your own EIN and let LegalZoom handle the rest. They're a good company.

A family member being a former business owner was very satisfied with LegalZoom. That's why I chose them when I was setting up a business. They kept me informed and on track with my business lineup. I’ve had them for less than a year and they worked on some paperwork that has a different spelling.

If you're looking to start a business and/or any other sort of legal assistance, whether that's estate planning, making a will, any kind of review of any other documents, and/or tax planning and strategy, then LegalZoom is a good resource to reach out to. If I could have called and spoken to someone and gave them all the information, where they could have done the pointing and clicking and gone over everything with me—that kind of assistance would have been super valuable that I would have even paid a premium for. If that is a service that's available, it wasn't fully transparent on the website.

LegalZoom is a good company and I can recommend them. I met them on a business group and I've been using them for legal advice for five years now. They support my business. The price is affordable and they've been awesome. They're very reliable and they keep the appointments.

Legal Zoom is awful, plain thieves. I paid close to $1,000 for an LLC when I actually needed a PLLC and even though I fully explained the nature of my business (mental health counseling private practice) at no point did they tell me a PLLC is the required. When I tried to close my account with them after I explained the above, they kept repeating themselves going around in circles.

I have two stores and used LegalZoom twice so that I could get my LLC. I could call them any time. You would imagine a big company like that would not want to be bothered, but they took their time and answered my questions.

I’m a repeat customer of LegalZoom for about 15 years. They got everything all structured properly, it's very easy to use, they have strong legal, and technical efficiency. Recently I started a new company and I use them for my company’s organizational structure and filing process. They've called to follow up about the accounting portion of their services and offered an outside service for tax filing and such. My experience with them were all positive.

LegalZoom charged me $499 per business for registered agent services after I had already changed my registered agent and they were no longer listed as agent of record. Previously the fee was $299, so not only was the charge higher, it was for services not being provided. The moment I saw the charge, I called. The representative confirmed that future renewals would be canceled but refused to issue a refund, even though LegalZoom is not my registered agent and I did not authorize renewal under these circumstances.

Terrible customer service. I paid for the expedited service. Then received info of paperwork that I have to submit to the IRS. This will add days to getting my Ein. I called and was basically told, "Sorry about your luck."

I hired Legal Zoom to create a LLC. That was fine. However, three months later, Legal Zoom started charging me $9.99 for a subscription I NEVER signed up for. I contacted the company via email but received a notice that email has been disabled and I need to "chat". Well, an hour later, I still wasn't able to resolve the issue. I waited online for more than 30 minutes for supervisor to help me. I finally contacted my credit card company and did a chargeback for the unauthorized charges and also blocked them from ever charging me again. It was a horrible customer service experience and I'll never use them again.

I have been unable to revise my plan since the day I purchased! Customer service is not responsive. They are also able to see everything I put on my trust, which is so unsafe if you have an address or any personal info there! I have been calling for over a month now and they are unable to fix my issue.

LegalZoom made preparing a living will very easy and convenient to do. The whole process took only two weeks and it was very seamless.

I was setting up a business, and LegalZoom helped me during the tax season to prepare all information needed. The directions and the steps when I was starting the process were straightforward. It was very easy to find somebody to explain the tax return and the information that I needed to provide. They also have an informative process for renewing subscriptions and accounts with a website service provider, so I was able to create my business website. I would recommend them to anyone starting up their business and has no idea how to do that.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience using LegalZoom. I called yesterday and paid for a Statement of Information to be filed with a rush on it. I clearly explained to the representative that I had already contacted the Secretary of State (SOS), and they informed me that filing the Statement of Information should lead to reinstatement of my business.

Absolute Scam — They Take Your Money and Vanish! LegalZoom is a complete joke. They happily took my money, then their damn website froze right after payment. I couldn’t log in, couldn’t access anything I paid for. When I finally got someone on the phone, the so-called “customer service” agent kept repeating the same useless line: “Call your bank for a refund.” Then they hung up on me like it was nothing. This company is nothing but a money-grab operation hiding behind a fancy website. No help, no responsibility, no respect for customers. They steal your money and disappear. LegalZoom should be ashamed — worst experience ever, zero stars if I could.

Huge scam and rip off. Absolutely worst customer service of my life. Hidden charges. Frequent cancellations. No follow through. Completely stressful. You will never actually get help from customer service. It says unlimited free attorney consults but they cancel all of them. Customer service is a bunch of incompetent morons.

I used LegalZoom to file my LLC. They provided all services as paid for except they registered me as a corporation not llc. Upon contact I was told it was because I purchased their economy package and to make changes would have to purchase a new package. They don't keep any original paperwork so I have no backup. My registered agent has me listed as a LLC so this is 100% on Legal Zoom. I am out over $400, the so called economy package, and they won't make it right. Stay away from Legal Zoom.

I’ve been using LegalZoom since I formed my single-member LLC back in April 16th of 2018, and I've been happy with the experience. I own the LLC so they did all the paper work, registered it, and sent me certificates for my company. I'm not going to invite anybody on. So, it's a single-member LLC and the price for registration and a registered agent through them was reasonable.

I wasted my money going to LegalZoom to help me set up my LLC. After waiting for 2 weeks to receive my EIN, only to had to reach out to the IRS and get it done myself. I regret it, and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Difficult to cancel subscription and won’t get reimbursed even after you cancel. Cunning management. Subscribed to 6-month plan and tried to cancel it before the next renewal. Never used it and still got charged.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using LegalZoom. The services they provide are far from complete or cohesive with the client’s needs. While they advertise simplicity, affordability, and support, what I actually received was a set of generic, one-size-fits-all documents that left major gaps and failed to address my specific situation in any meaningful way.

LegalZoom offers the best deal in town. The first time I heard about them was through Google and the reason I used them was because I couldn't get a single lawyer around my area to talk to me. It was through Messenger and it was good. LegalZoom also talked to me about options and schooled me on my taxes. I appreciated all the advice that they've been given.

Even the supervisor finally brought in promised phone call today despite my incessant pleading to complete this call. The only reason I even got a supervisor was because due to their delay I was no longer in the 60 policy. I was about to create this review and shared that so they did get me a supervisor finally. Jeremy agreed that he would call within first 2 hours of his shift today so I held off on creating this review. If you pay attention to the photos, you will see the chat history that is beyond belief in poor customer service.

I’ve used LegalZoom about six times in the past with no issues, but this time was awful. While forming my business, I had to click through endless upsell screens, adding 15 extra minutes just to decline everything. Despite declining, they still signed me up for three subscriptions I didn’t want. When I complained, they refused to fix their mistake or give me a refund, and even tried to blame me for ordering something I never asked for. After years as a loyal customer, I’m done with LegalZoom — they’ve turned into a predatory upsell machine.

was looking for elder law attorneys specifically for the purpose of changing my mother's will to a trust. The format that LegalZoom had set up as far as going through each category of her possessions was easy, straightforward, and largely self-explanatory. Part of the reason I had shied away from using LegalZoom as opposed to an attorney locally was wanting to make sure that the attorney actually looked it over. I opted for that and that gave me some peace of mind as to the legality and protection that we were doing.

I started my company and I needed an all-inclusive, easy, and something very simple to get things into an LLC. I remembered that LegalZoom had that particular offering. It was the first thing I thought of. I went to their website and it did offer everything that I needed. I needed to be guided into understanding how to get an EIN, how to get my articles of incorporation, and how to make an LLC. I was able to do all of that in one place.

I had a terrible experience with LegalZoom. They put down the wrong address in my incorporation papers, and I asked them to correct it at their expense because no one authorized them to put down that address. They said they were gonna verify and they were gonna do internal checkup on it, and they never got back to me. When I did a DBA, I asked for that from the get-go, and they never did it. I had to pay to get it done again. It sat there for three weeks, and no one even contacted me to tell me it had been approved.

I used LegalZoom for my LLC. They have been awesome. I have two LLCs with them now and I had a great experience processing both. It was very simple and affordable. It's great to use them to start a business. I’m very satisfied. Everything's cool.

Paid LegalZoom for a full LLC formation package that included setting up my business and obtaining an EIN among a few other services. They only completed part of the services I paid for. I contacted customer service multiple times, and each time they told me it would be fixed. But they never followed through — and eventually stopped responding altogether. It’s now been over two years, and I’ve never received the full services I paid for/refusing to offer partial refund because of policy. In that time, I’ve learned how to handle the entire process myself — forming an LLC and obtaining an EIN isn’t as complicated as they make it seem. I deeply regret trusting LegalZoom with something so important. They were slow, unresponsive, and unreliable. Save your time, money, and frustration — there are better ways to get your business started.

LegalZoom had very good customer service. I used their patent service and it went very well. I now have two patents. That was far less expensive than going with a patent lawyer. I'm very happy LegalZoom is there. I recommend them to everyone.

I utilized LegalZoom’s services to set up a trust fund and a will for me and my wife. Then I subscribed to their monthly charge for legal services in the event that I needed it for myself or for a business. The process was easy, straightforward, and painless, which probably took about three weeks in total. They provided a lot of support and documents for me to basically complete most of the process myself and then submit it to them for review after I had it notarized. LegalZoom has been very proactive and very fast in helping me set up connections that resolve my issues.

They take your money and set a one day timeline to sign. When you log in to sign the website will error out. They do this over and over until they need you to call to restart the matter because they have paused. They wore me down to the tune of $800 for nothing.

I initially signed up with Rose **, but when I had a question, I couldn't reach her. Instead, I spoke with another representative who asked if I had signed with anyone. When I mentioned that I had, she abruptly hung up, which I found strange. I called again and spoke with Erwin **, who told me he could only assist me if I canceled with the other representative and signed up with him instead. I went ahead and signed up with him.

I paid for my leases and my edits. I cannot download them. Emailed Jamie ** 9 times after our phone call. At first I received responses and now no response. This is after calling 7 times. Jamie ** changed the pricing that she promised. They will not supply supervisors contact information or connect me with a supervisor.

Absolutely horrible company, no accountability and a month worth of nothing but frustration with LLC formation. Their rep told me to delete my Wix account that I created to update the email. Well, after 3 weeks of not being able to access and LegaLZoom blaming Wix, I have now found out that it was a one time link that LegaLZoom is not willing to fix in order for me to get the website. I was told that "The mistake was unlucky and nothing can be done". Secondly, I waited two weeks to receive my LLC and EIN. Get the forms in and my name is wrong.... It was correct on every section of the website so why was it filed different?

I do not recommend this company that offers to register your company in any state and does not comply, they only create a company for the state but do not do the registration and they do the registration of the company for the IRS to obtain the EIN number but they do not understand that creating a company is only to indicate that a company is going to be established in x state but they do not know that they have to do the registration to allows the business to legally operate within a specific geographic state, county or city.

I found myself going with LegalZoom for some legal services. I've been using their services for about four months, and I managed most of the process online, which was quite convenient. Everything was straightforward and easy to use, which meant I could accomplish what I needed efficiently. Although I didn't interact with anyone directly, the online platform met my expectations well. Overall, LegalZoom made the process smooth and timely, which I appreciated during a busy time.

I recently (May 2025) used LegalZoom to form my LLC and agreed to the registered agent service through them. Apparently, I inadvertently agreed to a couple of other subscriptions and didn't pay close enough attention until I saw a surprise $199 charge for "State Compliance Filings Renewal." THEN I was unable to find any information in my account and after 3 days of back & forth, getting ghosted and told they were having system issues, it turns out they had somehow set up my account using an incorrect email address with the word "counseling" spelled "councilling," which definitely was not my fault since I have been "counseling" for over a decade.

My entire experience with LegalZoom has been conducted online, without ever needing to speak to anyone on the phone, which was very convenient for me. I’ve always handled things via their chat, and it has been an exceptional experience every time.

I was considering my need to start a business. A friend had recommended LegalZoom to me, and I needed assistance in becoming an LLC. My experience was straightforward and hassle-free. The entire process took just about four hours, which I found incredibly efficient.

I had started the process of setting up an LLC and obtaining my EIN number, but then realized that launching a business might not be feasible for me at this stage. Feeling overwhelmed, I reached out to LegalZoom to manage the legal aspects for me.

I went with LegalZoom for their assistance in managing the legal paperwork related to my business. I needed help with filing documents with the state, and they took care of everything efficiently. Even though I set up my LLC myself, their service made the subsequent paperwork process seamless.

Horrible experience. After they compromised my account and my personal data, they refused to delete my account until I threatened legal action. Even then they were not able to fully process. If you use their service, get ready for all of your legal and personal data to be shared with random strangers.

In 2024, I prepared a Living Trust for my sister using LegalZoom. The transaction and process went very smoothly. In 2025, after looking at my bank statement, I noticed a charge from Legalzoom for $199.00 that I was not aware of, nor did I approve the transaction. The fee was for a legal plan I neither needed nor wanted. I was informed by customer service that they could not refund my money. After discussing the issue for some time, they offered half the money back and would cancel the subscription. I guess it was all or nothing, take it or leave it offer. Never trust anyone.

Scammers that don't actually do anything. They make it impossible to cancel which is legal. I do not have to tell you anything about a registered agent. It's none of your business and have no right to do this to anyone that wants to cancel your scam services. Garbage dump company. I'll build a website in a few hours and tell everyone how to get rid of this POS scam company and how to be their own registered agents. They do nothing even close to deserve 500 a year. What a scam.

Legalzoom is a great starting point but it's customer service is atrocious. Even after reaching out to them multiple times regarding cancellation of services, they didn't cancel it and keep charging me ~$700 for the subscriptions. There are many other providers that are cheaper and much easier to cancel. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Did not realize I needed to get witnesses and notary to make the trust legal. And since you can't have family members as witnesses it made it difficult for me to find anyone. I also had to make changes to the trust after I received the printed packet from Legal Zoom, because I didn't understand how my decisions affected the trust. Unfortunately, by the time it was over the 30 days free revision. I might as well have thrown the hundreds of dollars away. I'll probably end up going to a lawyer as my son first suggested.

Legal Zoom is good in getting the business started. But they charge you $399 to remain as your business agent. The only job they do as a business agent is send you an email saying you need to file the compliance report. For that email, they charge $399. It is not worth. And in most states, you can be your own agent.

Beware when using LegalZoom. I used them to establish an LLC in early 2024. I later decided to convert to a Sole Proprietorship. In July of 2024, I paid LegalZoom to dissolve the LLC. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $199 for "Registered Agent Services" and $199 for "State Compliance Filings" in May 2025 for an LLC that no longer exists and for which I paid them to dissolve! When I contacted them, they said they couldn't refund me for the services they clearly did not provide. What a scam!

My first LLC went smoothly through Legal Zoom. Cost wasn't bad either. I wanted to file another about 3 years later. Hit a roadblock. Said I needed to sign forms. I signed and returned. Nothing ever happened. I got busy and figured everything was good. Now a year later I'm asking where my stuff is and log onto legal zoom to see it's at the same spot that it got stuck originally. Then they told me the order had expired and needs to be canceled. But they won't transfer the balance I paid them to open a new order to get this finished. Basically throwing away the few hundred bucks I gave them the first time to do it. So now I'm going to look for a local guy. I'm not going to pay them twice. Communication was terrible when I initially had the issue which is part of the reason why it's now been so long until I even remembered about it. Just go local.

I would not use LegalZoom. This service continued to submit the wrong documentation to the State Board. I have spoken to LegalZoom over 10 times, and the issue remains unresolved. The customer service team is incompetent, and I have been sent to the escalation department over 6 times, and still no resolutions. Save yourself the frustration and do it yourself.

Avoid LegalZoom at all costs. They charged me a $399 Registered Agent fee after my business had already been closed and officially dissolved with the Washington Secretary of State in August 2024. LegalZoom was notified of the dissolution by the state, yet still billed a closed account without any notice, authorization, or justification.

My documents from 2016 were not accessible, despite me paying for "vaulting" in 2016. I had to go through hoops to revise them, and then I was double charged when there was an error with the revision. To clarify, I was notified by email to contact customer service to remedy the error, they told me I should pay twice for the revision, and yet I was. I was also told by the same person if I was double charged, to call back to be refunded, but this has been frustratingly impossible so far due to completely incompetent customer service. I may need to go through my bank to get my money back for incorrect charges.

Don't waste your money when it comes to getting a DBA. We hired them to file a DBA for us in September 2024. On March 21, 2025 we demanded our money back because they never got the DBA for us. They admitted that they had filed the exact same paperwork with our local county THREE DIFFERENT TIMES and it had been rejected three different times.

The ONLY reason they got 2 stars is because you can file things pretty easy for different parts of a business. I give 1 star to the Tax part of LegalZoom because its overpriced and you don't get the services you pay. You are required to do your taxes and then they will review. However, don't trust them to submit documents for you, I was fined by the IRS after finding out they never submitted the extension. They charged me $900 and didn't give me any service for either tax year.

I have been using Legal Zoom for the past 10 years. The Service they provide in estate planning has become increasingly less consumer friendly. There is a long delay after purchasing and order and their completion. Email communication on the status of order is unpredictable. At least msg center on the app has some value in disputes on order. BTW I ended up paying for a revision of a will because they lost the original digital files until the 30 day grace period was up and only became aware of it after my inquiry on what the delay was.

I am small business owner and had bad experience with Legal Zoom. I had set up an LLC with comprehensive package, I was overcharged, I had opted for online services (form creation etc., etc) which didn't work, so I was asked to pay extra and then finally when I objected to overcharge, they refunded amount, but the refund never came....! If you have all the time in the world to stay on the call and haggle with them, please go ahead and use Legal zoom

I'm unsure what happened but I know it was them! On your end someone keeps shutting me down my Yola so I make a new one and this time I earned one I need more than anything that's happened to where targeting leads to for sure suits daily. All day long so will you please let me get the site back in to my possession? U93 is next to hear from someone like, me. We were actually with Legal Zoom for many, many years and legal advice from them was mediocre for the most part, but useful for our needs. However, I cancelled my account with them last month and we were suddenly charged $299. When I called to complain, they told me that it was because we had a subscription with an auto renewal for them to be our registered agent in our state. It turns out that the registered agent fee was included in a package that we had with them and that since 2021, we have been double paying. On top of that, they refuse to refund the $299 for the auto renewal subscription because when I called to cancel, I didn't specifically request to cancel the auto subscription. How does that make any sense at all. When I called to cancel, I was ending our account with Legal Zoom. I am more than disappointed in their refusal to refund the overpayment of $299.

Kept the money didn't do anything, said I timed out but I was waiting on them to do the things I paid for. I even bought the full automated trademark option, but they scheduled one call 6 months later. Then missed that for technical reasons, then scheduled the next call for 3 weeks later. I asked for refund and they said they can't, because I was past the time allowed. I don't see how if at one point the refund is allowed, then no work done, and the refund is not allowed just cause of time. The same time they dragged out. So their time. And my time doesn't mean anything. And now they are saying they just won't do anything and keep the money, around $800.00. Lastly, the lady, Karen. That answers the phone for a refund hung up on me when I asked what they intend to do with my money since they didn't do the work that was paid for. Fair question?

I used Legal Zoom to help create an LLC for my small business. I was under the impression that the process was free minus the exception for any state fees (Missouri is $50). I was okay with those state fees. What I was not okay with, though, is that they would be charging me $199 for a registered agent service. It was some information I misunderstood and overread; however, after this misunderstanding Legal Zoom refused to give me a refund. I am very wary of the experience I had given that they were not willing to provide a refund. Nearly every other business will provide a refund if you purchase something by mistake. It seems to indicate an unfortunate endeavor to make money for Legal Zoom rather than aid their customers. I'm disheartened by this methodology and DO NOT recommend Legal Zoom for any LLC creation in the future.

I paid an extra $100 to expedite my PLLC formation since I needed it done ASAP. A week passed and no communication. I had to call to find out there is an issue and it got rejected by the state. The issue was that they needed more information on the form that was submitted. For a company that does this daily, shouldn’t they know what is needed for it to be approved by the state? Why are they wasting time by submitting incomplete forms and then sending a vague email so I have to call or wait for someone to answer a chat.. Which can take days. It’s hard to get ahold of anyone and when I did they barely speak English. Terrible experience!

They refused to give us a prorated refund for the Registered agent subscription which we still had almost a year remaining on. They mandate us to pay for a full year upfront. They also put in a great deal of friction for the customer to be able to cancel. We had to upload proof that we "self-registered". At that point in time, their system said that we had successfully cancelled our subscription. Many weeks later, it still said active. I called to cancel again, to which they did cancel it. They told me that you have no choice but to call in to cancel, even though their system clearly stated that it was previously cancelled when we uploaded proof. Again, more intentional friction to steal money from customers. I then spoke to a supervisor and asked him to use his discretion to at least give us a prorated refund, to which he refused. I will not do any future business with Legal Zoom.

These guys are crooks. I ordered (1) BOI report for my (1) business. They charged me twice. They admitted they mistakenly charged me twice yet they tell me they can't refund me for their mistake. Do not use these guys. Plus.... over 30 minutes on hold just to find out how crooked they are.

Absolute scammers. I canceled one year ago and just got charged again. First, they will charge you way more fees than they tell you. Second, after you cancel they will continuing billing your bank account for months. Third, I finally got them to cancel and refund me 1 year ago and today they charged me again for $199. Fourth, I have spoken to support for 3 hours trying to get a refund and they refuse to refund and transferred to 5 different people only to tell me to contact them another day. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. THERE IS PLENTY OF BETTER AND CHEAPER SERVICES OUT THERE THAN LEGAL ZOOM.

Your state government has a website that is most likely easier to use than LegalZoom for creating an LLC. They make it very difficult to cancel and provide almost no service for a hefty price tag; you'll be paying $40/month, billed annually without warning, for filling out the same forms on their website that you would fill out on your state government business website. Absolute scam.

Service is like pulling teeth then after promising the moon they underdeliver time and time again. You never get the same person to help you with your account and their records are awful as you have to recap everything with every support person you get. NEVER again, run as far as you can. Get a local attorney.

Inefficient. Redundant. Time suck. Slow. It took weeks from submitting an application online to getting a call with their "legal expert" who asked me the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS as the "intake person" without providing any legitimate legal opinion or advise. I could have done this myself faster, cheaper and easier.

They charged me multiple times for hidden management fees. I hadn’t even used their services in over a year and called to have the account cancelled. They still charged me almost 300 for absolutely nothing. They are doing absolutely nothing. Since then I have finally cancelled my account but get scam emails CONSTANTLY of them trying to fearmonger me back into a subscription. Horrible business. Avoid at all costs.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I used them to file my first LLC in October. By mid/late December they still had not completed it, stating they were waiting on the Secretary of State. Upon calling the Secretary of State office, they informed me that the filing had been completed incorrectly and that the application had been denied. I demanded a refund, after much debate on their part after spending over $900. I filed with my state on my own and had my LLC in under an hour. Do not ever use them, they are charging crazy fees for something that is easy to do yourself on your state's Secretary of State website.

So, I did file and get an LLC from them and had no issues. I filed for a DBA on 27th of September and they sent me paperwork to print, sign and return. After weeks of waiting I get an update that I copied it wrong and redo it. So, I did and with weeks wasted I thought I should follow up. I did and they assured me they would rush it through and send it to the State. So Months later I hear nothing and when I check it show me that it's at the state waiting. So, here we are today 7 December and I get an email that says I have to reprint and sign and send.

Straight up scammers. I paid $5 to see if the name for an LLC was available. Legal Zoom took the liberty to attempt charging me to fully start up the LLC. I didn't have enough so the transaction didn't go through. I clearly didn't start the business and now I have the government sending me paperwork threatening to fine me for not filing taxes for my LLC (that I never paid to start and decided not to continue with). I contacted LLC to sort it out and was told that the LLC was created whether I paid for it or not but they can close it out for a bunch of money (can't remember, either $300 or $400). I got laid off my job before the year started and became a stay-at-home-parent so I quite literally can't afford this form of extortion.

Complete scam. Never signed up for their services but have been charged over $1400 in the last two years. When I contacted the company about the charges, they said I had to verify the account before they could act. Since I did not start an account I do not have this info. They said, there was nothing they could do, despite me being able to provide my name, phone number, credit card and date of charges. Seems like a great scam idea. Steal names, phone numbers and credit cards and set up "annual service" contracts and see if people catch the charges. I didn't notice until an audit of my personal credit card. Company is a complete scam...Do not use.

Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service! I had a terrible experience with this company. They charged me over $500 in fees for a business license that was already closed, and they refuse to issue a refund despite my repeated requests. What’s even worse, they keep charging additional fees, and I cannot get them to stop! Customer service has been completely unhelpful, and I feel stuck in a never-ending loop of unjust charges. If you value transparency and fair business practices, I would strongly advise avoiding this company. Feel free to adjust the tone if you prefer a more formal or informal style.

I placed an order to change an LLC into a C-Corp nearly 6 months ago. Though, I know this may not be as easy as it seems, I went with LZ because I thought they knew what they were doing and could get the job done. The first 2 months go by and I didn't receive a single update or any documents. I then reach out to get an update. LZ said they'll provide an update to me in the next 3-5 business days. I wait 10-15 business days, still nothing. I reach out again, then LZ says they've found an issue and that they need more information from me -- mind you, the information needed is just basic info (number of shares, price, etc., info that I could've provided when I first placed the order). I provide the information.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with LegalZoom’s unprofessional and incompetent handling of my account. After deciding that I no longer needed their services, I reached out to cancel my subscription and close my LLC. Despite sending multiple emails well in advance, they consistently claimed they never received my requests. Even after contacting their customer service, I was met with little more than empty apologies and excuses, with agents insisting there was “nothing they could do.”

If there had been a negative star rating, that would have been most appropriate for Legal Zoom services with incompetent managers who have no clue how to handle a simple company dissolution paperwork to be submitted to the Secretary of State. It's 5 months since I put in the order with them and the issues their "business team" needs to look into haven't been resolved. Weeks after weeks I am just being transferred from one department to another. Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau need to investigate the way Legal Zoom conducts their business. I feel bad for all the other people who have been wronged by this company. They just don't hold themselves accountable at all. Their services need to be monitored just like an insurance company as they are fees are pretty high as well.

I was warned to not use any online setup for my S corp and DBA for any healthcare services. I read reviews and thought it was straightforward. The setup appears simple but it is faulty. It does not obtain all the information needed to file smoothly. The questionnaire makes the consumer believe that all is getting captured like a DBA on initial setup and statement of information. For a S corp it was a disaster and months later discovered the DBA was never filed. Customer service is the worse. Literally, your time is wasted on misinformation and being sold services that are not needed. I can’t wait to be completely set up and then I will change my agent. Complete waste of time. Also it is costly, but I’d still pay more for quality service. At least I know things are being done correctly.

I wish negative stars were available. I purchased a sales permit through them in March, and months later, it was still incomplete. After repeatedly following up, I was told everything was “on schedule,” but more time passed, and still no progress. When I emailed again, I was informed my “questionnaire was incomplete,” though I never received one. After clarifying this, they said it was actually complete—yet the permit remained unfinished.

Stay away from any 'recurring' options. Used for creating a Will which included a sneaky 200 dollar annual plan to call in and get legal advice. The charge was noticed 1 day after processing which after calling the supposed support line ended with them saying 'we can't refund this based on policy.' I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. While the basic services are good this is a 'customer killer' for me.

I will never use LegalZoom again. I created an LLC through legal zoom and need a DBA. They misfiled my paperwork twice and gave me the runaround on the phone. Then told me I had to call the Secretary of State to have it resolved. I paid legal zoom 99 dollars for the DBA and the error cost 60 dollars to fix. I WILL NEVER GIVE ANOTHER DOLLAR TO THEM!!!!

I paid for full service to form new llc, it's been over two weeks since it was filed and it has crossed the estimated completion date by 7 days which Legalzoom provided. My important dates were coming up for next steps. So, I followed it up with Legalzoom on why it's taking longer to complete. I got a response from rep that they have to follow up with state which may take 3 to 5 days. Until and unless I followed it up with Legalzoom they don't even bother to check with state on what's causing the processing delay. I was hoping for a seamless service. Why the heck I am paying so much in fees? It's been a bad experience so far. I worked with another service provider last year. They have taken care everything in first 10 days and there was regular communication.

Awful company. They have been secretly charging me $299/year for a "service" that names them as the registered agent, which requires them to do absolutely nothing. They do not send a reminder that you will be charged, and they do not send you a receipt when you've been charged. They try to fly under the radar, which seems... illegal?

Updated on 09/14/2024: After several phone calls, I was finally able to get a refund.

UPDATE: LegalZoom gave me a full refund after I wrote reviews detailing my experience. I wish I wouldn’t have had to write negative reviews, but it worked!

Highly disappointed. I bought the DBA and EIN service expecting easy and quick set up and all I got was delays and excuses why the documents weren’t processed quickly and timely. It’s been 2 months since I paid my $297.00 and so far I received nothing in return. I would like a refund and asked previously for one but they said they would process the order but until now I have received neither the EIN nor DBA documents nor the refund. Total waste of time and money.

Do not use LegalZoom! I purchased an estate planning package of documents from them 5 years ago while my husband was in the hospital. (Don't wait until your husband is in the hospital to do this.) I assumed that it was a one-time purchase of a package of documents. Unbeknownst to me my package came with a "free trial" of a subscription service for legal advice. Apparently, it was in the fine print of my receipt, but why would I think I needed to check there to make sure I wasn't accidentally signed up for a subscription service when I was just purchasing some documents?

I submitted an application and payment to get a trademark. Two days after my consultation, I woke up to a letter saying the attorney is no longer representing my trademark application. No explanation. When I called, they told me they couldn't talk to me and hung up the phone in my face. I have no idea why they dropped my application. If it's legal to drop it, why not have any communication with me explaining the process, at the very least. I have no idea what to do with the application that was filed. A huge mess and very poor professionalism. I would NOT recommend to anyone. I've never ever had a so-called professional hang up on me while asking for clarity.

Wow. I just spent multiple days, hours per call with many, many transfers. Each representative telling me different stories on why the credit they had originally promised could no longer be honored. If you could believe it, someone went as far as to tell me that this huge business does not have a billing department… so I could not have spoken with them… getting an order number for the reinstated credit the prior day. It’s amazing… I guess in reality, they are doing me a favor.

DO NOT USE. I was charged for a subscription I did not want. Once I saw the charge in my account I contacted them immediately. I was told that that I would not be refunded based on their new refund policy. I am paying for a service that I am not using. Seems suspicious....

LegalZoom locks you into subscriptions without you realizing it! I was just charged over $800 and another charge for over $200 for an annual subscription for Tax services and compliance which I never utilized. I must have signed up for this when I used legal zoom last year to establish my LLC, I thought that was all I was doing! Their business model is to get subscriptions, and bill as much as possible. Seek any other options for establishing an LLC. Customer service will not refund charges, not even a prorated refund.

The customer service and handling of my Will and Trust was a complete joke when I had to make a simple revision. First I was told I would need an attorney to change my email, but not my name. After submitting and paying the revision I was told I needed to revise it again to add a dollar amount for my pet trust. Keep in mind, this is not a legal issue this is system issue. However, Legal Zoom required I not only add a dollar amount, but I had to pay again for this revision (I was refunded after I demanded it, but was told there is no way to override this on their system). 30 minutes later I was told I needed to do another revision because of '/" symbol. (just imagine the audacity). An agent then said she would call me within 1 hour, but kept me waiting for over 4 hours (ruined my day with my family). Apparently they were able to override the system at this point. I am now waiting to be compensated for my time and for a meeting with the CEO.

LegalZoom signed me up for a tax thing that cost $100 a month. I’ve never used and don’t remember ever signing up for it. They say I have to pay it for a year. Don’t give them your credit card or bank. It’s a con. I could have hired a lawyer that I could actually talk to and I would have saved over $1000. It’s a predatory company and they will not help you. I regret using them for the LLC and I should have googled it first as they are being sued for this. It’s frustrating and I’m mad at myself for being swindled. Look into for five minutes before and you will save yourself from being scammed.

They continue charging llc management fees even after the state dissolves your llc. They refuse to refund $299 annual management fee if it renews even by a day. They hide behind their terms to bill people for non existent services.

Legal Zoom is HORRIBLE! They should be ashamed. I have tried to cancel a service that they added on to my account, and every time I call, they try to upsell or retain me. They make it impossible to cancel a fraudulent subscription. No wonder their legal troubles are mounting. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

This company has unfavorable terms for monthly charges, making it difficult to find important details, as the fine print is nearly impossible to locate. When requesting supporting evidence from Customer Service, they respond with a generic reply after five minutes but fail to provide any documentation. Please stop charging me $99 for a Tax Return. Furthermore, receipts for charges are not actively sent to the business. Finding these receipts is time consuming. Receipts do not show terms of service or total remaining balances for subscriptions.

Do not use for LLC. As stated by others on this platform, they do not have integrity and sneak in auto-renewals (without warning they will charge your CC), and when you cancel within that month of the surprise auto-renewal, there is zero help. This is a company that will nickel and dime its customers rather than value their loyalty. As stated in my message to LegalZoom customer service, I will recommend to all fellow practitioners (I am a supervisor, professor, and manager) that Legal Zoom should be avoided.

Very easy to set up and had an amazing experience as I was assisted by a rep over the phone. Couldn't have been a better experience. From start to finish. I would highly recommend using Legal zoom to anyone starting up a business! Look forward to using LegalZoom in the future as my business builds!

Legal Zoom returned my money. I am still disappointed it had to come to a bad review for their offices to take action.

I have had the worst experience with LegalZoom. The customer service is absolutely horrible. They do not follow up. They gave me the runaround for over a year to set up a DBA. I had to finally cancel my order and they would not give me a full refund. I would never again refer anyone to Legalzoom. If I could give no star I would.

They kept my money. I signed up for a trademark in 2020 during covid and I did not get an update. So much happened and I have called and even asked them to check how many times I have called since then and they said, they can only see the 16th and today. They kept $494.00. Last time I was transferred 6 times to get service. I do not recommend. They no longer offer this service and I should get my money back. Jet said, it's not going to be refunded. They don't offer the service, but can't refund it. They did nothing to help me at all. I am cancelling my account with them today.

The worst. I have been trying to dissolve my LLC for over 5 months with LegalZoom. They are too laid back, inefficient, and slow to communicate. They don't explain the process well enough and I will never use them again and I do not recommend them.

I would give this company a zero star review, but didn't have that option. They set my company up over a year ago. I opted out of all the recurring charges. They decided I needed a registered agent. They billed me almost a thousand dollars. Called to get it fixed. They didn't care or help me at all. That's how they make money off the small business. With hiding recurring charges. Never been treated so bad in my life, by far worst company/customer service I ever had.

A few years ago my wife and I made a will with power of attorney with Legal zoom. We paid once and done. Last year and the suggestion of a friend we went back to legal zoom and did a living trust, thinking it was pay once and done deal again. However 1 year later I noticed a 199.00 charge to my American Express card by legal zoom. When I investigated they said it was for a subscription that I was on; I argued to no avail. It was one of those things where the sales man selling me the product tells me to check here and check there. I never thought that after one whole year they kept my American Express. Number, expiration date and 4 digit code and charged me without as much as getting a verification from me. Be aware, I will never trust this company again. Since being retired I male about 1/3 of what I use to make so I would never agree for a subscription for 199.00 especially for services I never intend on using. Shame on them….

While the service was good, after I tried to cancel before my renewal date was posted on my account, they kept billing me. They billed me a few months before my renewal date and I am having to have my CC deal with it. The service and product were well worth the money, so disappointed that I have to have this issue. I would still recommend them, but just be careful when you need to cancel.

Renewed an LLC that no longer existed if mine. Would not refund the money despite the issue being that they did not check their records to see it had been dissolved. Since apparently that is okay of them to do per contract, my bank sided with them and $280 was removed from my account for something that no longer exists. Not at all reliable.
