Took combined 13 hours hold time and 4 calls to actually speak to a person. The first call was on hold 5 hours only to be hung up on! Emailed customer support, received reply email that would get a response in two business days. Never got a response! They said they faxed my EIN app in on January 25 but after 8 weeks (takes 4 to 8 was told) the IRS could not find any info on it. Paid around 1400.00 bc thought they could help me get the LLC started quicker and more accurately than doing myself. I could have spent less than my wasted 13 hours researching and doing it myself. Will not recommend to anyone. What a rip off! Would give 0.5 star because agent spoke to was professional and answered my questions.

We needed to make changes to an operating agreement attached to the LLC we formed through Legal Zoom. We spoke with Tenica. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in handling the necessary changes.

What I did with LegalZoom was create an LLC. So far, so good.

I used LegalZoom to set up my LLC for my business. And the second time I used them was to get a will. It was very easy. However, there was a recurring payment. When you own an LLC, there's something that needs filed and need to file every year. My accountant was to do that, not LegalZoom, but I got billed for it. But in the end, LegalZoom got rid of the bill as I was buying my estate planning stuff. They said, “You know what? If you get the estate planning stuff, then we'll get rid of this bill that you don't want to pay.” So overall, I'm a satisfied customer.

Using LegalZoom was simple and thorough. It is the most well known one and an acquaintance had a good experience with it. I gave the rep the information and what I wanted to establish. They did everything else for me, and sent me the packet with the rest of it. They got my EIN number set up without any intervention from me. I used the chat on the app which was easy to use.

Legal Zoom provided everything I needed to do a new Will. I added Power of Attorney and a Living Will as well. I used Legal Zoom in 2012 to create a Will and today in 2021. It was very easy to do, and I am very satisfied.

I used their service for a revised will, trust, power of attorney, durable power of attorney and medical power of attorney in case you become incapacitated for some reason. My experience with them was very good. They're a good resource.

I've used Legalzoom because they're kind of boilerplate stuff. It's also cheap and easy. Sometimes I feel like I'm not sure if I've done something right and I want to talk to somebody and make sure that I've pressed the right buttons. I did reach out to customer service and they were good. They explained it and it worked the way they said it would work out. The thing that was appealing to me was that you can get the option of consultation with an attorney if you want. Prior to the will, I had incorporated and that incorporation is legit. That was more complicated than the will but it went smoothly.

The LegalZoom website was easy to navigate. I was able to complete what I needed online and for not too long.

I'm a recording artist, so I started an LLC under my artist name. But now, I'm changing my artist name. I called LegalZoom to inquire how can I do that and change the LLC name. The experience was all right. However, the guy that was on the phone with me seemed like he wanted to get off the phone. But I have my own LLC at 21 years old, so I'm happy about that and LegalZoom was able to help me with that.

The wait time was a bit long but the quick and efficient customer service was exceptional. Meshalle was professional, when she sensed I didn't understand something she made sure to clarify what the issue was and quickly fixed the problem.

At the time that I was filling out the application, there were some specific questions that I didn't know what the question meant or even with me selecting the answer that I selected, if it was the right choice.

I used LegalZoom to set up my new business from business licensing, the EIN number, and compliance tracking. The only thing that was confusing in the process that I needed to resolve was when I signed up for everything to get my LLC registered, it ended up being almost $1,000. My impression was that it would include state licensing but apparently, it did not.

I used Legalzoom for a formation of a corporation and the process was very good and easy. However, they run you through a bunch of questions. There are a couple questions specifically of naming directors and so forth in it. It was not clear to me that these would be put into the corporate documents. Had I known that ahead of time, I would have handled it a little differently.

Everything was straightforward and self-explanatory. I am having a concern where it indicates that one of my documents is only 95%. I will have to follow up and call them to find out what exactly that is. I think it has to do with the attorney services but it was my understanding, or maybe I misunderstood, that attorney services would be available for a certain period of time at no cost. I’m trying to list the questions that I do have so I can have them answered in one phone call or chat. I also went through Legalzoom about six years ago when my mother was getting sick. We used them to establish her will.

I tried to get a hold of LegalZoom the other day over and over again. They had something on the 501(c)(3) and I couldn’t even get them on the phone. We’ve been back and forth for four months on this one. Usually, we can halfway get it resolved but getting them on the phone is ridiculous. They don't have enough people. You can follow up and do it over the computer. But other than that, they're a pain in the ** to deal with.

The process was seamless. The agent of whom worked with me was absolutely awesome! The entire process, without complications, explained and executed in less than 30 minutes. I ordered a LLC package with a name that I checked for availability. It took a few days, before the order got updated to my second name choice - no idea why, because the first choice was and is still available. The next day, the order was updated to register a totally different and unusable name "economy LLC". I tried to call - wait time of over an hour... PATHETIC. I emailed twice asking what the heck they are doing - no response... Pathetic. Do not waste your money and time on this set of completely incompetent and ignorant idiots!!! Zero service. Zero quality. Zero availability. - Crappy experience!!!!

I used Legal Zoom's business service to form an LLC. I like the online portal of being able to track what's going on with things and then keeping my documents centralized. The only thing that I didn't like as much is that when you pay for the premium service, often you have the ability to consult with an attorney or a tax advisor. Legal Zoom gives 14 days. But until the documents are finalized, you really don't have a need to consult. If you're gonna have to go back and change your name or there's an issue with your structure, consulting on what you submit and what's approved might be different.

I got my sole proprietorship with LegalZoom. I found them online and based on the experience, the smooth process and the confidence that they built up with me with the company, I knew that the next time around when I was gonna do anything business-wise, I would more than likely use them again. It seems that when you call now though, the call volume is high and that gets a little more challenging to get ahold of somebody. It wasn't like that before, but the demand might be a little heavier than before. I had three services done recently. I got a trademark for one of my businesses, and then I got two LLCs.

The level of professionalism, and they talked to me and not at me, gave me layman's terms of understanding and I left the call comfortable with everything. There was no way I could have completed my S corp on my own online, Gregory has a talent and a gift. Thank you.

After I picked LegalZoom, I saw something that was cheaper and they could have my stuff in a quick amount of time. I'm not too fond of LegalZoom. After I called and cancelled the service and after a while of the charge not going through, they charged it on their own without my permission. I'm waiting for them to put my money back in my account. They are slow. The amount of time it takes me to get ahold of somebody sucks too. I wish I never picked them and I wouldn't tell anybody to pick them as well.

LegalZoom helped us. It was a little bit pricey but it was fast and since I was in a rush and it was urgent, I paid for it. I would tell others that if they need something urgent, they can find it at LegalZoom.

The level of professionalism is amazing. The sales rep that took care of me was not only caring but his words were warm and encouraging. I never want to feel pressured or confused because he took his time to specify and express sincerely. I will recommend LegalZoom to everybody I know that wants to LLC/Trade Mark etc.

There was a bit of a challenge with the customer support line a couple of times. There were a couple of times when I dialed the regular number and I waited 40 minutes for somebody to answer. Nobody answered and it was really frustrating. But I spoke to one of their reps twice and she was very helpful. Also, I signed up for the expedited path to get my latest S Corp setup. LegalZoom said two weeks and I paid for the two-week expedition. It was delayed for five or six weeks because of COVID. But it wasn't LegalZoom's fault. I would come back.

Legalzoom is a trusted business for me to go to to be able to prosper in my business and get somewhere. Everybody who does business, everything that come out of their mouth is Legalzoom, LegalZoom, LegalZoom. My biggest problem at first was I could not get on my account. I realized that the reason was because I was doing it from my cell phone instead of a computer. The rep said that I needed to be on a computer to look at all of my documents and make sure that everything is there. If I wanted to apply for anything, it'll all be there. I understood and thought, “So they are very secure on this?” Apart from that, they have been of some help since I started. No stress on the brain. Everything went well. I received everything I needed. I just have a couple of steps to make, and I'm in business.

I have less of a headache since doing business with LegalZoom. It was a little bit easier navigating the things that I have to do. But it's a lot to do. It was a lot of information at once but it wasn't horrible. Also, they respond when I have questions.

It was difficult to conduct business with LegalZoom when I had my LLC done. Communication could be handled differently. Assistance was done through the internet.

She's terrific! I would prefer to speak to her every time I called Legal Zoom. Chevon is professional, knowledgeable, efficient and an excellent communicator. LegalZoom said that my LLC was blocked and that I needed to call up there. They should have given me a little more information than just that like I need the case file number. A lot of people already know these types of things, but to the average Joe that's just starting, he doesn’t have a clue of what he's supposed to ask from them. It would have been helpful. Everything else is spot on. The experience was great after I figured out what I need to call and ask for whenever I was researching what was going on with my LLC. Then I don't know if that's something that they're supposed to do for us or if they're just supposed to take care of that stuff and all the legal paperwork and give it to them, then the rest of it is on me. But I figured I would use them, that way, I don't have to do much except signing papers. I may be misinformed myself, so I appreciate it.

I liked the process. It made things easy. I also like how they reach back out and follow-up on things. With Legalzoom, I have the assurance of knowing something correctly and also having a backup for any questions that I have. I've already recommended them to a couple of people.

I got a trademark through LegalZoom a few years ago and everything went smoothly. So, I did the same thing recently for a new product. They were pretty reliable and thorough. Once you do it the first time, you have to do a certain amount of follow-up work yourself as far as trademarks are concerned. LegalZoom would start the process, submit your trademark application, and get the ball rolling. Then, once it gets submitted to an attorney on the trademark end, they take the training wheels off from the customer and you have to take it from there.

From advertising, I knew about LegalZoom. At its website, I had zero difficulty finding the legal document, Living Will, I needed; stepping through the process of completing it was easy. An agent was available online to answer any question I had and a phone number for similar assistance was clearly noted. I utilized both. The process was easy, the price was right and I will receive the document within the week. I recommend using LegalZoom.

Back in October, I had my LLC taken care of. With LegalZoom, it's super easy, affordable, and something I never thought I'd be able to do. They made that dream come true. I also called customer support to add on more licenses for my Google Suite account. I was able to get in touch with somebody fast then they gave me the correct contact information for who I needed to speak to.

The process for starting up my LLC was pretty easy. I just punched the information in and LegalZoom handled the rest. There were some aspects of the servicing agent that I didn't quite understand. But I just didn't know anything about it because I had never done an LLC before. You just have to take into consideration that so that they'll be able to help you and guide you in the right way. LegalZoom was awesome because they made it very easy. I should have done more but they took care if everything. If I had any questions or issues, there was someone available to help me understand or guide me through it.

Customer service was very resourceful on all my needs, and explained different advantage of the Legal Zoom services, that could be more beneficiary for my needs, and set up a legal consultation at a best time for me to get the call.

Everything's been great with LegalZoom. We got the LLC, the business account and everything set up. The total process was done in two weeks. I didn't have a problem with anything they did but I had a problem setting up my business account because of the LLC but we worked around that.

One of my buddies did an LLC, and he recommended going on LegalZoom to get it all done. I'm active duty in the army right now. I'm an officer and I'm still working a regular 9:00 to 5:00 and trying to get an online business started. LegalZoom did the main thing in terms of getting the LLC established. Now, it's on me to get the rest of it done. I need to order products and then create a website. I still got more to do and they are helping me. Recently, I went on the site and downloaded the documents that they provided. Bank of America also gave me a call yesterday after getting a notification from them as far as trying to open up a business account.

I heard of LegalZoom through my father. I use it three times a month, sometimes none. We use it mostly for employment contracts. I just wish they updated the UX. When you try to find documents you've already worked on or if you want to edit those documents, it's a pain in the **. Sure you can go to the document center and make a new one. You can try to search for the document you want to make. A simpler system where all the documents are listed right there. I can pick whichever I need. Another good thing would be if they could add international addresses, which is something new. Because it seems they only cater to people in the States. Otherwise, it's a good service. That's why I'm still paying for it. It's useful and definitely worth the money.

I have been with LegalZoom for 7 plus years and have been very happy with the service I have received every time I called. This call was as I expected and was able to get I needs met in a timely and efficient manner.

I recently did trademarking. I've used LegalZoom before for things that are like that that require a lawyer but don't necessarily need a lot of advice on it. It just needs to be a legal matter carried out. It's just filing the paperwork and making sure all the correct things are done. They seem to be proficient at that. Also, I like that doing it is at your time. I have a couple of rental properties. So if I need to drop a lease, I do it on my own schedule versus having to deal with a lawyer and them getting back to me on their own schedule when they come. I did emailing back and forth, and I did phone a couple of times and they were prompt in all their responses, so it was good.

Creating the LLC that I have was easy. I looked at a couple of companies, but I decided on Legalzoom 'cause my cousin had an experience with them

I was on Facebook and I was on a group message with people doing hotshots. And one of the guys said, “If you want to get your LLC and your EIN number, LegalZoom does it. They do the whole thing and you don't have to do it yourself.” I had to have contact with the customer service representative and it was great. The package I selected was 30 days. They said that it was 30 days for them to do it, and 30 days for the state to get the process going. I thought I would get it back to at least 40 days or 40 plus days. But I got it back in three weeks.

This agent was extremely knowledgeable, she gave me information the was beneficial. She was smiling through the phone. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable because people who are starting new small businesses feel nervous and hesitant only because of their lack of knowledge. However, she made me feel comfortable in asking questions. All my questions were answered and I feel like I am capable of starting this business and she told me LegalZoom is here for me... Aside from the adverts on TV all the time, I decided on LegalZoom because it was a one stop shop and the price was fairly lower than the competition. The entire process was smooth. I had the requisite information that I needed and they directed me to third party companies. The brands called me as a result of me doing that so it was good. I still get information from the third parties that I might be owing franchise fees but one of the things that LegalZoom did right was let me know that if I filed after the 15th of December, I wouldn't need to pay a franchise fee to California.

We went the LegalZoom route due to convenience. It was very easy. I spoke with a rep once just to clarify that I was doing something correctly and the customer service was great.

If it were not for such a very good agent I would not have rated Legal Zoom highly at all. I tried countless times to contact a human being when I received a notice something was missing. It took 2 days of nonsense and automated services being too busy and suggesting I try again later and call times exceeding 4 hours and further hold times even after a call back service. April is the only good thing. Seriously this is a piss poor communication system with more nonsense automated dead ends than is humanly digestible.

I always use Legal Zoom. They are fast and knowledgeable and relieve me from struggling to find out how to handle legal issues. They have done Trademarks, copywrites and wills for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

So for even a regular, small business owner, they should go for LegalZoom first and see what they can do for you, because they helped me.

I had to call them five times to solicit. I got escalated, they were supposed to call me back and nobody ever did. I was left alone with no answers. So overall, it was not a good experience. If that happened the first time, I would not use them again. So, I definitely will not use it again anymore.

When there are issues, they send emails, but sometimes the people might be busy, and they miss the emails. If they have the voice calls or text alerts on top of emails while the issues are going on, that will certainly help.

I filed an LLC with LegalZoom and they did not mention that you need a Registered Agent Service when you purchase your LLC. You only find after receiving your receipt that mentions they'll automatically charge your account an additional $249.00 once your documents are submitted to the state. That is very unfair. They should mention that before anyone submits a payment. I will be canceling as soon as I'm able to replace the Registered Agent. Absolutely disappointed.

I had LegalZoom start the LLC for me in Missouri and it was pretty easy. I just paid them and told them what I wanted. For them to file the LLC, it was 65 bucks, then I ended up buying the other packages where they filed my EIN and all that stuff so that was pretty cool. I didn't have to do any of that. They said the EIN filing was gonna take way longer. But they got it done weeks ahead of time. They were really fast. The product was exactly as is.

I like the website and how that was set up, because it was easy enough to find the information that I needed before I even decided to use the services. It's very user intuitive. Once I went on the website and looked at all of LegalZoom's amenities, I decided to go with them. Communication is great too. I don't have to wait too long to hear back from somebody. It usually takes a day or two, which is good. It’s very overwhelming to start a business, but with LegalZoom, everything is laid out. Everything is there and people are there to help as well.

Our company has been using LegalZoom for several years, for RA services. Big mistake. Most recently, we were upcharged over 60% ($399!) without even being notified. We contacted customer service and they were not helpful. Stated we received an email. Unfortunately, not true and we are waiting for proof. We asked about when the price change occurred, they stated 2018, yet we had a normal payments going through ($159) up until 2020. When asked about this discrepancy, they responded saying, "it was probably a glitch". One word. Wow.

The process seemed like it was pretty fast and it wasn't too difficult going through the steps. But when I actually started doing everything and paying fees, it took LegalZoom quite a while to get the LLC license to me. I purchased this sometime last year and I just barely got my LLC license about three weeks ago to a month. They kept putting me through the runaround. Every time they said they were gonna send the LLC off, they didn't send it off. I just had to keep calling and doing extra stuff.

LegalZoom seemed very straightforward and the call that I had with the representative of LegalZoom was helpful in talking me through the process and helping me to select a package. I used them to file for an LLC and my estate service as well as everything that helped me get set up as a registered agent. It's easier to stay on top of business filings. However, the timeline wasn't super clear and that was a little frustrating. For example, I chose the least expensive package. That meant I would have my license back from the state in 30 days.

LegalZoom took care of everything I had to do and it wasn’t expensive. However, maybe they could send an update once in a while. It was supposed to take two weeks, but it took more than that. Other than that, everything was all right.

LegalZoom's process is easy and convenient. The customer service based on the chat could be a little bit better though. I had questions of when my delivery would be here because it said the documentation would ship on the 19th of February, and I still haven't received it. But working with LegalZoom was very easy. A benefit is getting all my P's and Q's together as far as running my business legally. And between getting the correct paperwork together for the State of New Jersey as well as the government for taxes and doing things the right way, LegalZoom made it easier. On the website, I like the easy access to the documentation and how it's put into different files. Everything's in tabs as far as the legal document. If you open up your document tab, then you're able to go right into, for example, the EIN number for tax reasons or legal paperwork. It makes it simple with the drop-down that you put on your orders.

I heard about LegalZoom from a friend of mine. It was all online. My last thingy with them was they screwed up my paperwork, so I had to call them and redo the paperwork again. And then, my LLC business stuff wasn’t sent to me. But LegalZoom is customer-efficient.

The process with LegalZoom took way too long. Somebody dropped the ball somewhere along the line. They should have handled it faster and gotten me my license faster. I missed an opportunity to get a grant that I wanted to get for my business with the coronavirus. I needed my license, and it took so long that I missed that opportunity, so I'm not very happy.

It was easy to do the original filing for the sole proprietorship and then I had to go back and redo some of the papers a little. They sent me an email, gave me the phone number to call and it was quick. They also did everything well but it took six months for my last request to get filed and they never gave me a good answer on why it took so long. I don't know if they had to file everything through the state and the county and it took a while, if they were backlogged or they had a COVID infect. Other than communicating better about the delay, everything else went perfectly.

But I also know of another business owner that has used them before and he expressed a whole lot of positive reviews when it comes to their services. From what I understand, affordability and the services that they offer are kind of the gold standard. It's the first time I've ever gone through the process of getting the LLC. I don't have a whole lot of reference to know how difficult it would normally be or how difficult it would be to go through another agency, process or another state or country but given the way that it went, the process is difficult in general and timely and has a little bit of expense to it. LegalZoom kind of rolled out the red carpet and made it about as easy and painless as that process probably could be.

A friend said he worked with LegalZoom before and he liked it. At first, it was great. But then we were getting more fees instead of getting help. They said that the IRS will mail us our EIN number. We've been waiting for that for five months now. We can't even get anything done, but we still have to pay LegalZoom. For something technical, I don't know anything about that stuff, but they sent step by step on every little thing I needed to do. If I need a lawyer for anything, they’ll do the heavy lifting. I’m a truck driver. If something happens and I say, “Hey, I need a lawyer to help me deal with this ticket,” they will do the hard part. They would be like, “Where did you get this ticket? Where did you do this?” I will figure it all out. It wouldn’t be like back and forth and me having to do more work. It would be just 170. It's very reasonable.

I had LegalZoom do a power of attorney with my mother and then wills and power of attorney with my wife and I. The process was very easy to do. It didn’t require going to an attorney's office to get it done. This is my second experience with LegalZoom and so far, it's been a good experience.
