LegalZoom was one of the more expensive companies and I was disappointed that I went with them. There was an issue with my sign-up and then a few days afterward, my bank account kept getting charged. Every time I tried to call them, I could never get through. I even tried to do the online chat and they couldn't help me without trying to send me to someone else. Then every time they tried to send me to the right person, I would get disconnected. I also did the callback thing several times. The first time I got a callback, they said that there would be no more charges posting to my account. Then the next morning, there was a $250 charge so I had to call again that day and then that guy reassured me that there would be no additional charges.

10 years ago, I used LegalZoom to help my elderly parents put a will together as well as for other legal documents for small businesses. I liked how they are affordable for basic things. They have lawyers that put the documents together so I can trust them. Most recently, I used their service again to help an elderly lady in my church put together a simple will. Everything went well. I recommend LegalZoom.

We have a large business with a lot of legal needs in different states. LegalZoom has a large scope of services and it's pretty easy to conduct business with them. We use them for DBA filings. The process was good and the person I worked with was really helpful.

LegalZoom has been very helpful. I heard about it initially on the radio and then I went online. I looked at the organization and whatever their descriptions are. Then I said I would go ahead and give them a call. I also had gotten some information elsewhere, which helped me in the process to know that it wasn't just a one fee, which was what I initially thought. So when LegalZoom gave me the differences, I was prepared for that and it was exactly as they said. So it worked out. It was very painless and I was glad to see they were able to actually get it all accomplished during this pandemic because it was something I was very concerned with. Then every once in a while I get a letter here and something there, and I really do appreciate that. I feel very confident. I feel like I've got a good support team. I'm glad I have them there. There are even options if I need some help in trying to grow the visibility of the church. So it looks very good.

I was trying to investigate where to start with a small business and LegalZoom was one of the top ads that popped up. The whole experience was very easy, especially the online experience, which was how I was able to register my business. I also found the packets that arrived in the mail to be very well put together, organized, and easy to understand. We had a follow-up call to make sure that everything was fine, but it definitely turned out to be a sales call for other LegalZoom services and it just felt a little too pushy. When somebody in my position where I'm just starting a business, there are so many places where money has to go and my budget is very limited so I'm not thinking about additional services. But overall, LegalZoom was very organized and easy to use. It got me to exactly where I needed to be. So, I definitely would recommend them to anybody who wanted to start their own business and needed advice and help.

Horrible experience. I paid $1000+, and my filing has been put on hold four separate times for the same non-issue -- Registered Agent. They keep emailing me to tell me the orders been put on hold. I call in, wait 40+ minutes to find out it's the same issue, tell them I've done exactly as the Registered Agent has asked, even forwarded emails -- and now they're telling me the Registered Agent needs to sign in ink. I can't believe it's been 45 days and they haven't even submitted for an EIN. I'm infuriated and frustrated. If I could go back, I would have just filed for incorporation myself. I was trying to save headache, but this has been more headache than doing the work myself.

I have been waiting a month and half for documents. They do not notify me when they need additional information. They require a phone call for information but have a three hour wait time on the phone. If they requested info by email the system would run much smoother and there would be a record of communications. It's ridiculous. Get off the phone and send info electronically. It's the 21st century!

I liked the website. The interface seemed pretty straightforward. It's very no muss, no fuss. I set up two LLCs. I’m dissolving one right now with LegalZoom. I've also did my estate planning documents. I got their estate planning bundle. The process was pretty straightforward. The comprehensive suite of services provided made me feel confident that they have researched the needs of your target consumers very well. So I felt quite secure that they had done their legwork, and I'd be able to get a solid solution. I also liked the fact that I was introduced to a local attorney, who would corroborate a lot of the information I received from LegalZoom in my market. It was pretty cool that there were people that they had vetted. It turned out to be great. I was really pleased with that component of the service. I’m really happy about that.

LegalZoom is a great way to start a business, especially if this is your first time and you don't have any experience. All the information is informative and you're able to reach out at any time and make sure that you have everything that you need. If you don't, they can send you documents. So, this was a very helpful process for me. I'm using my registered agent and smart employer services from LegalZoom. It was very simple to obtain and it didn't take long at all. I spoke with someone from customer service before to make sure billing was correct and their rep was very friendly, resolved the issue, and went straight to the point.

We were starting off our company and the reason why I went through LegalZoom was that I was ignorant of the process. I tried looking into it through the state and everything was so vague. Then I got told that the LLC was probably the smartest choice to start off with. The LegalZoom website was pretty easy to use. I was talking to somebody while I was doing that through the thing. But by the time that the rep told me what to do, I already skipped to the next thing and I already figured by myself. It was just like there was somebody on the line just in case if I would need something. With LegalZoom, they just asked what I wanted, the name to be, and what kind of company it would be. It was basically pretty blunt of what I wanted. Then they would go ahead and take care of it and that was it. But, I just had to pay a lot of money.

I saw LegalZoon online and I availed of their services for my business. Everybody that I spoke to had been great and they helped me get my license. Everything went smoothly and I have no complaints.

Everybody from LegalZoom I talked to has been helpful. However, sometimes, I'll explain to each person, "This is all new to me. So, please talk to me like I'm really like a dummy at it.'' Because it's all new to me, I wanna make sure it's right. Then I'll speak to a next person, and they'll tell me something new. I'll speak to the next person, and again, I'll learn something new. Today, I spoke with the bank because they told me I had to call the bank about what papers to give them. They told me to give them two papers but I wanted to make sure with the bank because my bank doesn't know what they're doing.

I used LegalZoom to create my LLC. I learned about them from my sister and she suggested that I use them. The process took way longer than I expected and everything before the exit process took a month to complete. Also, I had to navigate through some things to find certain information that I was looking for on their website, such as to open accounts, and it wasn't super easy. But I figured it out.

I got a business license through LegalZoom and their website was pretty easy to use. I also had a conversation with their reps about stuff that happened in the last couple of weeks and their questions weren't hard. They were just making sure that everything was okay. Everything's cool and I got all that I need for my business. If I didn't, I will go back to LegalZoom and make sure I have everything.

We heard good reports from other people about LegalZoom and when we availed of their services, they responded well. They had good people on the other end and we put together all of our legal papers with them. It was done very professionally and very timely. I was impressed. I just went back to them again and updated some things. I had a living will and one other paper that needed updating because I was gonna have surgery. LegalZoom updated them and got them back to us in three days. They sent them to my printer then I printed and kept them in.

We had a trademark done through LegalZoom and went through a quick and easy process. Their platform was easy to use. I highly recommend it.

LegalZoom was referred to me by a friend. I used their service to open up an LLC. The website was really efficient, and it made the process pretty easy. My husband helped me set mine up, and he set up his as well. It was like a more efficient site than other ones that we looked into or even like hiring a lawyer to do it. The fee was a pretty good cost to get everything approved. We didn't take any time at all from registering to getting the application complete. I was at a time crunch getting my LLC approved before I started a new contracting job. So, the fact that it got completed before the 30-day mark was really helpful.

When I needed to change a deed on a house, LegalZoom did just what I asked to be done. It took two or three months. We had to go through the courts. At a local court, it had to be recorded in the local area. I was satisfied with the timely manner and the price. Also, everything was good with the contacting and keeping up-to-date about what went on. Everything went fine as I requested and expected. I'm 100% satisfied.

LegalZoom provided business setup. I had good and timely service. I like the simplicity of putting in what you need and they would take care of it. Everything went really well. I was very satisfied with LegalZoom.

I availed of their service for an LLC. The initial setup was through email then I sent an email because it was telling me to do some things. It started calculating other fees that I didn't understand why. It was just too much. It was overwhelming for me. I sent an email about a week and a half ago and I've not heard anything back from them. I'm not quite sure where I'm at in the process so I was on the phone trying to get them on the line to help me. Also, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing. Had I known it was gonna be like this, I would've never used them. I would've just gotten an attorney. This is probably going on my third week so far and I've not gotten anything completed with these people. I'm very dissatisfied.

I've used LegalZoom a couple of times. I had a landlord-tenant issue. That was a couple of years ago. I also had to do a DBA so I just went to LegalZoom. It's just easy, convenient, and simple to use. They sent me an email telling me that I was gonna get a bunch of scam stuff about needing to register here and needing to register there. That was 100% a lie so I threw all those stuff away. The only thing I would suggest to LegalZoom is to do more social media marketing about everything that you can do on there. Everybody thinks of that. If you've got a policy, you get a traffic ticket. But there are a ton of resources there. And for an entrepreneur or a small business owner, that's extremely helpful.

LegalZoom has been great. I just had a little mishappening again here but it's understandable. I didn't put somebody on my LLC from the beginning which I should have and it was a mess because I wasn't thinking. I'm a really small business, I got a partner, and I wasn't thinking about that. Also, I wasn't looking forward to spending more money for that. But it's not LegalZoom's fault. It was mine. I should have had my priorities a little better. I'm supposed to have a PDF sent on my email today for my amendment for adding my partner to the business but I don't see that yet. The rep said it was on there. That's the only thing I'm missing. But other than that, good service. Katie has been a sweetheart and she did great. She took care of everything for me.

Recently, I used LegalZoom to create a trust. Their website was good, but I had to talk to somebody to get something fixed and they were very professional. I had a good experience.

Going with LegalZoom was easy going. Their reps kept me informed and told me that I needed a lot of details for my trademark. They wanted to make sure everything was right and I'm happy they're really good at doing their job. So far, they have provided me with different goods and services for my business. Overall, LegalZoom is very detailed and it's a good service.

I have an excellent experience with Legal Zoom and all of the associates I talk to. The associates were very patient and very understanding in explaining how to proceed. They held my hand all the way through the process and through my making improvements and several chances to the documents. Highly recommended. We've used LegalZoom to create and dissolve an LLC. We used them again to create a different LLC but then I was unable to get the information I needed on their site. I had to talk to somebody because the site just listed the status but wouldn't give me the rest of the information. Also, I was never notified of their annual fees. I just got a collections letter which was how I found out about them. Other than these issues, their reps were fine.

LegalZoom was easy to use and was a good thing for us. We did a last will and testament, a power of attorney, and a living will. We moved to Florida and we didn't know any private attorneys in the area where we moved to. Instead of trying to just go look up somebody we didn't know or do whatever, we did it online and that was fairly simple. It was easy and a good way to go. With LegalZoom, it was fairly easy to understand and get done. Also, the price was fair for what we got and for what we did. We didn't do anything really complicated. If I'd be worth $9,000,000, it would have been a different story. If people have anything more complicated, they would need something else. But in my case, we have one daughter and it was pretty simple.

I'm in the process of getting the company all together. I just got my LLC set up and some other things and LegalZoom was a simpler process to get everything done in a speedier time frame. It has been easier to make sure everything's done in one place. Their reps are fantastic and everything went through without me having to do a whole lot on my end as far as providing the necessary information.

I liked how LegalZoom's service is cheaper than other providers. I went with them to do a trust. However, I wasted three months of my time because they didn't complete it the way I asked them to. When they closed it out the first or second time, everything was lost. This was because they wanted my money before they would talk to me. When I got to talk to a lawyer, it looked like he had me on speakerphone and he was walking around his office as I could hardly hear him. Plus, he wasn't interested in what my questions were. I received the trust a couple of weeks ago and I was ready to trash it. It was a waste of 330 bucks.

I contacted Legal Zoom to start a private mental health practice. The practice my wife was working for was closing. We decided it would be best to go into private practice and bring along her colleagues. The practice she was working for was going to close in 30 days. We had very little time and had to work with in the challenges of COVID. I signed up for service online and was immediately contacted by a sales representative. Normal I dislike sales reps but this one wanted to know what was my business needs. He helped get us sorted out. Starting a business is stressful. When I called frustrated, angry or stressed Legal Zoom helped walk me through it. The Legal Zoom services is worth every Penny. LegalZoom was prominently online and it seemed like it was the most expedient way to get the paperwork done that's why I chose it. The process didn't take very long, which was good. I got the paperwork back fairly quickly but they could do a follow-up to make sure one understands the paperwork.

Six years ago when we created an LLC, LegalZoom was recommended by a friend for their cost and accessibility. I've used multiple services from them so they were able to help us out in many different situations, whether it be via email, chat, or phone call, which I've done all three to get in touch with them. They were always available. It's easier to do the chat version. I love that they have that feature. That way, I was able to multitask and do what I needed to do.

Once you sign up with them you are on your own. They expect you to log into your account for everything. Started using LegalZoom about 3 weeks ago as an agent and to form LLC which includes obtaining an EIN and articles of organization. First payments were made to initiate the process and then monthly payments would spread out over 3 months. It's been less than a month and random transactions have been withdrawn from my account on a regular basis so far I've paid over $600 which is even more than what I was told the process would cost.

LegalZoom looks like a pretty good resource. I've done a couple of forms and there is the option to specifically target them to what I was trying to do. However, the cost of attorneys are ridiculous for what you get. And then sometimes, it would take a while to get an appointment with an attorney. And then they wouldn't get back to you. So, LegalZoom is a compromise to get something done, if you need it done in a couple days. I'm happy with the cost of it. LegalZoom shouldn't raise the price on me though.

A friend recommended LegalZoom. I used it to set up my LLC paperwork. We started it in the beginning of May, and I had it finished in about a month. The process has been good and the reps have been very helpful. The only thing I didn't like is the upselling. You really have to watch and make sure that you get what you want and don't get charged for extra things.

LegalZoom has a good reputation. I'm really picky about what websites look like and how interfaces are and LegalZoom had everything the way I would want it. It looked very trustworthy and well thought out. We used their estate planning service and it was great. It was much more straightforward than we expected. It was also much simpler. We would've done it years ago if we had known. The option to speak to an attorney if you felt that you needed it was also important for us and it was nice to have that option.

My experience with LegalZoom has been a painstakingly long one. When I look at their website, they tell me that they can do what I need in a few days. I applied for two LLCs and one trademark application. With all the requests I put in, what I needed took a few weeks and I'm still waiting for some of the items to get resolved. There was a mix-up in the names involved in one of the LLC's I was applying for through them. Each LLC had its own name. We tweaked one of the LLCs, and then they all of a sudden applied that name to both LLCs, which is a huge oversight. This took three weeks to rectify. We've also been going back and forth concerning the trademark item. They asked me whether my app falls in the product class or in the service class. We then needed to send a specimen but then LegalZoom changed the class and it didn't match the specimen we sent.

I went with LegalZoom for an LLC and their reps assisted me with everything I needed to know and do especially in my first year. They kept me informed of everything. Next year, I'll be much more suitable in terms of having a registered agent. Plus, I'll be able to monitor things myself. Everything has gone well so far.

I recently used LegalZoom's name change service. LegalZoom looks like the cheapest and quickest option. So, I decided to stop working directly with the court support and go through them. The process was pretty self-explanatory. It’s just a fill in the blanks type of situation. It was nice and quick. I was done with the process in less than 10 minutes. Working with LegalZoom was easy, but it wasn’t what I expected. I thought it was that I fill out the paperwork online, which I did, and then once I paid the fees, then I would get the certificate with the name change. But what came in were legal documents that I still need to go file at the court. I chose LegalZoom because when going through the court, I had to fill out the paperwork myself, which I could do and I did it just fine, but I didn’t like the pricing. I have to pay the court fee. So, it was kind of more expensive now that I used LegalZoom because I still have to pay the $200 to the courts.

I've been familiar with LegalZoom for the last several years. We used them to create a corporation for us a number of years ago. I'm generally happy with the website and how it’s functioning.

It was more online than it was personable contact. It was fairly easy. But I was unaware of the 249 service fee cost. I thought that everything that I selected was included in their service fee. Anything outside of that, I was very satisfied. I’m still learning how to navigate the actual mobile app. It’s non-hassle and everything is in one place versus if I will be doing this myself. I would’ve been all over my county and going into different counties to set up my business and establish my LLC. It’s stressful because I have to go out of my way to do it. But with LegalZoom, just click on and tell them that you need help and they own it like that.

My brother got his LLC through LegalZoom. I heard about them from him and I went with them for my DBA. It has been good so far. Things are quick with them. My DBA took three weeks.

I set up an LLC through Legal Zoom. Most of it was done online. I called customer service one time for a question and they took care of it for me.

I liked how LegalZoom seems to know what they're doing in terms of legalities in establishing a business. I went with them and the log-in as well as going through their process was straightforward. I've worked on the LLCs and secretary of state documentations of the other small businesses we've done through them. When I get my package in the mail, it is what I expect to get. The stock certificate things they put in the seal add a little flair to the package. I spoke with a business attorney who was living in my area through Legal Zoom. Plus, LegalZoom uses 1-800Accountant and I also have a conversation scheduled with them about taxes. Legal Zoom is a little costly compared to doing things myself though.

So I started working with Legal Zoom 6-17-20 and I started to get charges that I was unaware of. I was fine with the agent fee but I wasn’t fine with the random $1,095 fee. I have called numerous times and I have sent emails and messages and have yet to get a response from anyone. The one person I was able to get ahold of was unable to help me and transferred me to a phone line that was off. I went with legal zoom because they talk about having help available at any time I had a question but now Legal zoom feels like a complete scam. I do not feel comfortable working with them any longer. I’m requesting a refund for the $1,095 and the $249 agent fee considering I am not getting the help I paid for. I will pay for the filling fee since my llc has already been sent to the state.

LegalZoom provided a DBA. I’m still waiting. It happened in the middle of the process. They're good. It's not their fault that it's taking a while because of COVID-19. They seem to know what they're doing.

I was told by another business owner who they went through to get their LLC, and he said that it was very easy to go through LegalZoom. He helped me out. The whole process with LegalZoom was good. I was starting out doing the application online and there were some things that I didn't understand. I called the customer service the next day, and the rep walked me through it. He was patient with me, took him about 30 minutes, but he explained to me every question that I had. He answered them and broke it down to me. So, it was good. With LegalZoom, everything has been like clockwork. I have recommended them to a few people already.

I tried to cancel an order for a business license, DBA and EIN because I went another route. I was told (2 days later) that I couldn't cancel or use the funds for anything else; which I found out is against their (older) policies. They told me I had no choice but to either file as-is (in a state I don't operate my business from) or lose the funds. I was repeatedly lied to, now accused of lying about trying to cancel and even after I sent email records, phone records and detailed that I was continually hung up on when I called to cancel - they're saying they're trying to "help" by offering a $99 credit.

I placed and order to establish my new LLC, and Legal Zoom wants requested my signature in order to proceed with my order, yet I spent 2 weeks back and forth to get that paper signed by me through the waited email, I gave them 3 emails to make sure that my company email was not the problem, but they continued their failure by giving me excuses by transfer me from department to another and the waiting time is like more than an hour every time I try to reach out to them.

LegalZoom was available and had what I needed. I was looking for the contract and I found it. It was a very seamless process that made looking for a contract and any legal advice very simple.

I was looking for the quickest way I could get my business started. I liked the way that LegalZoom packaged things, so I went with them. I did everything online and their website was good. It was really easy and simple to use.

Every year when my RA service renews LZ finds some way to charge me more than agreed. Last year I was converted to a different level of service, without consent, and ultimately given a refund and an apology. This year they tacked an additional $90 to my RA subscription - about 160% of what I paid last year. The increase seems a bit steep for two compliance emails per year. In light of all that is going on with the economy this seems heavy handed and poorly timed. I feel like LZ knows that will state offices closed changing agents will be next impossible and so their customers will just have to take it. I will be looking into more reasonable options.

I got a price from a local lawyer on doing an LLC, and when I was googling to get forms to do it myself, I ran across LegalZoom. That was in 2006. This was my third go-round with LegalZoom. I had done an LLC several years back, and that went beautifully. I was just updating my will and it always goes well. In 24 hours, they respond. They review the document and they send it back to you. Using LegalZoom is much cheaper than going through a lawyer.

I found out about LegalZoom from a family member. I'm doing a business LLC. It shouldn't take long. I just have to call and ask them a few more questions before I finalize everything, and that's about it. I also just have to look over everything and mail some documents back to them. I like everything.

LegalZoom's rep broke down all the entities that they offer and everything that they assisted with. I decided to go with them for an LLC and the process was very easy-going. I have gotten kinda frantic waiting on the paperwork to clear though. I still haven’t received it in the mail though it has been processed through LegalZoom's app. Regardless, going with them has been an awesome experience.

I have opened up other businesses through LegalZoom before. I was happy the first time I used it five years ago, not this time around. The first time was very clear. I had more assistance with them getting my reseller’s permit. They really helped me out with that one. This time around, I signed up for an authorized user that it was various fine print, I didn’t know if it would be included or not, I ended up paying $250 for it. And then, I’ve been trying to get my seller’s permit. I also ended up purchasing an additional service through them thinking that business licensing people would actually help me submit that. They just gave me a report on the licenses that I already knew I needed. LegalZoom should make it clear to people what they’re gonna be purchasing, so they don’t get hit by the price with the additional cost on their credit card. And if someone’s calling in for help, they should not be negative about it.

The shutdown left me in a lurch about getting my DBA so I decided to just use LegalZoom instead of waiting for the county courthouses to open up. It was difficult having to go and get a notary, but it is what it is. I would like to be able to do everything online, if it’s possible. That would have made it perfect. Now that I have my DBA and the business name is shorter instead of my last name, it has made things a whole lot easier. Decluitte Energy is difficult to remember and spell, but P3, that’s easy. I’m satisfied.

Charging $299 for a registering agent is overpriced. I was then told the fee would drop to $159 if I agreed to stay. What is so special about your service? My lawyer charge $100 a year for the same service with two other businesses I own. My business is small and paying $300 for a service that would never be used is crazy. The agent information to change was submitted on March 18th but of course it was never changed by the SOS because they were closed during the time. So now I have to resubmit everything in order to get my refund back on my credit card. They will not cancel the service until it is changed by the SOS. Complete ripoff and never again.

I have been using LegalZoom for the better part of 10 years on lots of different aspects of their service lines. We have filed multiple provisional patents through them, wills, and business plans. It is an easy way, and I have always had a good experience. It is all done online and you do not have speak to anybody, and I like that. You get emails back-and-forth from the system. As long as you follow the guidelines that they stipulate when you are filing legal documents, it’s a cut and dried process. It doesn’t really allow you to make too many mistakes where a human being from customer service would have to get involved. I’ve been very satisfied. They need to continue growing the portfolios of services and legal transactions that they can do. They will continue to succeed.

I was online looking for a company that would do the LLC business for me because I’m a truck driver and by the time I finish driving, I won't feel like doing anything but taking a shower, eating and lying down. But I was going over my stuff last night and I saw that there was this paper I needed to sign and I didn't actually know where I needed to sign it. There was also some more paperwork that I’m gonna have to fill out. I didn't know that I was gonna have to get out some stuff and send in some paperwork. So I’m 50% satisfied with LegalZoom because I was under the impression that they would do all of my paperwork for me and I really wouldn’t have to really do anything else. In my understanding, I paid for them to do my paperwork with the government for me to have my own LLC. I would recommend them but I would also advise others to ask questions.

I use LegalZoom for business and so far it has been great. I like that with them, I don't have to do anything. Using their service is very simple. The reps whom I've spoken to have been very good.

I didn't have time to go through an attorney and I figured it would be easier going through LegalZoom and let them take care of it. They did all the paperwork for the LLC and everything went great. They were like my agent. The online process was very easy. I also spoke to someone during the process where they had to ask a few questions. I’m very pleased. For what I’ve done, I can’t ask for anything better.

LegalZoom was what it advertised. The process was user-friendly, from the customer experience perspective. I got the printed documents delivered to me and then I have to take the next step to follow the instructions and get them signed and witnessed. A non-family member witness is a little more difficult with the pandemic. But I have power of attorney through LegalZoom and I didn't have anything in place before. Using LegalZoom was a little time-consuming when I went with them to try and get an LLC. Everybody whom I talked to was giving me a different story. Every time I would turn around, they would try to upsell me to the next level. The reps put it down but they didn't tell me the kind of LLC I needed to have a PLLC that didn't need to be PLLC. It was something they should've known since they deal with such things every day. It was past 30 days before they figured that out. A week after that, I was able to get the LLC. Still, I could've gotten that in a week.

I used LegalZoom for three or four years about 10 years ago and then I just used it again for the last will and testament. Their website operates great. I have a pretty good understanding of some of those legalities in the things that I do, and they were always very well done.

I don’t want to die and have a paper that I paid for not protecting my family after my death.

It was all pretty easy on the internet and it didn't take long at all either. It was about a week. I got the stuff quickly. I got my cards, my banner and my LLC number. Now I gotta get my insurances.

I could do most of it online by putting information for LegalZoom to work with. Plus, if they need to contact me about anything else or if I had questions or needed assistance, their reps were there to help. The process took about three weeks with the filing of the paperwork and me setting everything up. I had a good experience with LegalZoom overall.

What was needed to complete the registration process was easy to follow, and it was step-by-step. Then, they connected with other services that were associated with them that were critical for starting and running a business. So, it was useful. I also receive weekly blogs or newsletter about services and pieces of advice on different things related to business. So, I’m positive about this company.

I went with LegalZoom because I did not want to do it myself. We are using their service in opening an LLC. Interactions with them have been good, and I filled out the bare minimum. The process to get the LLC was straightforward. They , however, can give a little bit of clarity on what is included and what is not included in the prices -- that would be helpful. I had to go back a couple times and I’m still not sure if I, by mistake, picked on some added services or not.

I apply for a PLLC in January 2020, it’s March and after many back and forth calling them, they send me a request to ask the NC medical board to send me an original letter confirming my medical license and the name of my pLLC (we are May). Finally I could contact the person in charge of pLLC in NC (after multiple attempts) and tells me that LegalZoom don’t know how that works in NC and they don’t send any mail letter. I just have to go to the NC medical board Webpage to do it myself. And guess what??? They’ve Not been answering any ph calls, and now is an answer machine that says they don’t have anyone to help me (May 8) when they have been answering all my ph calls until yesterday. I need a refund and an explanation but magically there is no one to answer my ph calls. This is crap. Be aware, if you are in NC don’t go through LegalZoom. Seems a total scam.

I’ve been using LegalZoom for about seven years and they help me with state documents. But I wish there was a way to just update the bill of transfer within the trust instead of having to revise the entire trust. I don't know though if that’s gonna make sense if it doesn't specifically say the bill of transfer. But the whole reason I use LegalZoom is the price. It is a fraction of the cost of going to an attorney. Then I call and do things online. Their phone service is fine but sometimes, I don't hear back when I email them. I’ve had some less than awesome service lately but they might just be so overwhelmed. I kept emailing and they just weren’t really reading my emails before they replied.

I used LegalZoom to make a will and working with them was easy. I worked with their reps via email.

After purchasing a bundled estate planning package for myself and significant other we ran into problems immediately. First, despite promises of a large staff available and working for you, even through the COVID-19 pandemic, I put in a support request on their website and two days later had still not heard back. So I called today and was told the hold time was an hour and five minutes. After finally talking to a customer service representative who had to put me on hold for an additional five minutes before answering my question, I was informed that my authorized second user could only access the account by logging in with MY login credentials. Considering these are legal documents we are talking about, this is just beyond bad practice and really quite negligent.

A friend of mine established an LLC and he recommended LegalZoom. I used them to establish a new business as well. They made it sound really easy, but when you do it, there are a lot of questions that come up later. And sometimes people are available to help you but sometimes they aren't. I worked through it. I wasn’t 100% clear on everything. I’m probably still not, but I got what I needed done. It was also a super long time to get my tax ID number, which really put me behind on getting a contract when I first started, which was really unfortunate. I heard other people who got theirs in 24 hours. It took me about a month and a half. I talked with the person who initially set me up. He was great until I had a problem with the EIN. Then he dropped off and was unresponsive.

I decided to use LegalZoom to set up a nonprofit. When they emailed me the articles of incorporation for the directors to sign, I realized that there was an error in the address of one of the directors and contacted LegalZoom immediately to rectify it and get an updated document emailed to me. I have contacted LegalZoom 5 times in the past week, and also sent an email. I have received different information every single time I have called. I have been on excessive hold time and was recently told this morning, that a supervisor would call me back. It has now been 5 full business days and I still have not received the updated articles of incorporation, or a call back/response from anyone. If this company can't even follow up appropriately on a simple typo revision, I have serious doubts going forward, for them to be able to handle the intricacies of this service.

I’ve used LegalZoom years ago when a partner and I started a business. Working with them is plain and simple and it’s not rocket science. I like the quickness too. I used them again recently for an LLC business that I might end up starting here shortly. We did things by email online and I'm already done. I got everything, including the EIN number. It was way quicker than the estimated time to complete everything and it was a good overall experience.

I used LegalZoom's service for power of attorney and then the living will. I liked that I could do it while I was quarantined in my house. I also liked the ease of use. I talked to somebody and they explained everything. My experience was very smooth and easy.

LegalZoom is a fraudulent company. They have been charging me $395 per year telling me that I have to re-register my LLC every year. I spoke with someone from our state office who said this is not true and I don't have to re-register annually nor do I have to pay annually to maintain my LLC. They sent me multiple emails each year even going as far as telling me that my LLC would be cancelled if I didn't renew. They also wouldn't let me delete my credit card from my account. I asked for months to close my account and they wouldn't permit it. I finally had to close my credit card account so that they wouldn't charge it anymore. LegalZoom - you should be ashamed!!!!

I needed to do something very quickly and didn't have the time to do anything else, which was why I chose LegalZoom. I used an independent contractor contract form and got what I needed quickly.

LegalZoom was perfectly fine, and we were happy with them.

Everything is going steady with LegalZoom. I still got a few more things on the list that needs to be done, as far as the city and county licensing that I had to get. My concern is I did my application through LegalZoom. I have a lot of people now that are asking me how I made this happen. And I told them, “Through LegalZoom.” I wanted to know if I do have a membership account. Cause the app doesn't really show much of anything. I’d rather the app show what it shows on the web. The only thing it shows is just the completion circle and that’s it. But I’m very satisfied. And I’m happy that everything did go through smoothly and in a good, timely manner. So, that’s most important.

LegalZoom helped me set up a DBA. I did it all online and the whole thing took about a month. It probably would have been quicker if I had just gone and done it myself. I paid about $125, and the county fee is only about 25 bucks so I probably could have gotten away with doing it cheaper myself. But I didn’t have to do the footwork and I liked that I didn’t have to think about it.

I used the services of LegalZoom for a last will and testament. Someone we know mentioned it and recommended it. We like that we can do it online and it wasn’t difficult at all. I was satisfied.

I have used LegalZoom for 4 years as a registered agent, I have always paid $159. A few days ago they auto billed me for 399 for the same service, I was never notified of a price increase and and would never pay $400 for this service. I spoke to customer service where they refunded $100 bring it to $299 which is still double what I have always paid. I would of switched to a different service if I had any idea I was going to be charged double. I am working to remove legal zoom and use another site for all my business services. Really shady way of doing business in my opinion.

My father used LegalZoom once before for something for his business. I used them as well for filing for a DBA. It was a very smooth process. It was quick. They made it easy for me, step-by-step, showed me what to do. I was having an issue and then somebody called me back. And I spoke to somebody on the phone and they helped me resolve it quickly.

I’ve been aware of LegalZoom and I have even gone on the site at one particular point in time to scroll through and see what they offered. And then, this year, because of my age and the virus, I decided to get my will done. So, I automatically went there. I didn’t have any problem with it. There was only one, where I originally went through. I put my name, but they didn’t have a spot for the middle name. And because I have my middle name on my passport, I felt so it should be on the will. And so, I had to redo it and I had to put my first and middle name in the area where they had your first name in order for me to get my first and middle name printed out on to the form. So, that was something that could be improved upon.

I've used them for about six years to create businesses and get some legal documents. Most recently, I used them for the last will and testament. LegalZoom is a pretty good company. I normally do everything on my own. They've done a really great job of making it foolproof with a lot of explanation of what you need to know. It walked you through the process. It's super, super clean.

I have my local attorney that does my stuff. But because of the virus, he's an elder person so he hasn't been seeing anybody or doing any kind of work. I was looking up online and LegalZoom came up a lot on the search engine. So I gave it a try because I have businesses also. And in the future, we're gonna do it. I did my power of attorney 'cause I own a lot of properties. And with this virus, nothing's promising. And I have my kid too. I told my wife I need to do something. I need to have a simple will at least. I have a power of attorney in case something happens. We're protecting each other. So I went ahead and ordered the power of attorney, I got it. But my will is still in process.

LegalZoom was sort of a one-stop-shop to be able to do everything I needed to do for my projects. I run a consulting company and sometimes my clients need to incorporate their own companies. So, going to LegalZoom allows me to put all information in one spot, have somebody work on it and send me a full package ready to go. Oftentimes I need to put together different legal agreements or contracts for my clients and I’m able to leverage the documents that LegalZoom has to do that. I’ve done two LLCs and a non-for-profit with them. I also have an advisory plan and some other plan that I went with them. It was good dealing with them.

Getting a power of attorney through LegalZoom was easy but I wasn’t expecting it would take as long for internet and quick document. Maybe the virus and the beginning of the outbreak delayed things, but it’s hard to say. And then they have this 14-day trial period for extended legal support, but the problem is they started the minute you signed up, not when you get your document. It takes seven days to get the documents, so I was like, “Okay. That’s not really fair.” I could have talked to someone while I was filling up the document, but I just thought that was shady. The document is good. People were taking it. No one objected to it. There have been no problems with the document itself. It’s just it took a while to get and LegalZoom's service starts the minute you say that you’re going to agree to their service. I’d still recommend them. However, they should do things better.

I used the will creator. It was easy to use. I was able to draft my will. The process was pretty easy and quick.

I started working with LegalZoom several years ago. But most of the reason why I decided to work with them now for a couple of provisional patents, and I'm one second away from filing my non-provisional patent application, is that it’s really an apples to apples comparison. They’re drastically less expensive than going through the Yellow Pages and trying to find a patent broker or a patent attorney. Their rates are sometimes six and seven times more than the process usually takes with LegalZoom.

The service was easy but there are few questions somewhere like the first representative for the last will. My wife put my kid's name on them and the form just took it. But later, I was told that some of my friends called them. They said we can't have a minor as a legal representative. That was kind of a drawback on the form. It should not take it in if you put the minors in. Also, I don't even get an email for my wife's documents stating the same after a week or so. It was still sitting in a not approved kind of form. I had to refill the details then I submitted it back again.

I loved the way that everything was organized and everything got to me so quick. I liked how they were able to explain everything to me before I even have started the process with them. They explained everything that came with each package and the difference between them. They've been amazing. I used them for an LLC and the process was good. Everything was plain and easy. If I had any problems, I would go to the chat and they would guide me through the steps. I thought the process was gonna take longer, but everything got here pretty fast. It took about two weeks and it was finished.

So I was very thankful that their website was really super easy to use and understandable. Some of my documents were being reviewed and it would be ready by a certain date.

I don’t have the time or the ability to go to an attorney’s office to sit down and discuss with them. LegalZoom would be a faster way of resolving things. With LegalZoom, I have no complaints.

LegalZoom is quick, efficient, and it's online. I’ve trademarked different companies’ names that I wanted to start. I put together an LLC partnership for a company that I wanted to start and LegalZoom did that for me. They’ve been very good. With the COVID, I decided that I ought to just put my last will on and get it out there because you never know if you're gonna pass on. I'm still waiting on that one.

Legal Zoom charges for fixing issues in last will after 6 months and this was never communicated. It charged $99 during the purchase and had never sent will back home but keep sending emails about issues within will but not about time period to fix the will without extra charge.

LegalZoom's fine. I did cancel the subscribed service. I just didn’t need all of that right now. I loved it. I’ll possibly go back to the subscription. I've kept the account open. That way I can use it on demand for accounts. So, I'm pleased with it. I use LegalZoom for the family legal forms. The thing is I have the assigned retainer, so I pretty much just pass most things to him. I've spoken to one or two customer service folks in the past and it was great.

I did everything online, printed it out and that was it. It was easy to figure out. There’s a form you fill out, they take all that information and put it into the document. There was an option to call for customer service or to chat online. The will didn’t do me any good though because I can’t go anywhere to get anything notarized. I also wasn’t aware that I needed to have witnesses present. I haven't done anything with it. I signed it and that’s it. We’re in a hotspot right now so we’re confined to our house most of the time.

They're the Walmart of legal services but they’re just impersonal. They make it easy to sign up for different products. The process online was simple. However, it starts with assuming that you know what you’re doing. I had to research what the language and things were before I could do it. I had a new representative every month. I'd also get very generic messages and emails. I was not very satisfied but I got done what I paid them to do.

Things have been good with Legal Zoom. I did our rules with them years ago and more recently, I had those updated, including our health surrogate and durable power of attorney.

I had a very positive experience with them because it had been very fluid and pain-free. I decided to use them again for a trademark. It was all done online. They communicate very well through email, which is the communication that most people today prefer. The only thing is they auto subscribe you and if you don't want the subscription, you should make sure you turn that off.

It was working out good with LegalZoom in the beginning, then I had to pay for that lawyer stuff. They only gave a 15-day subscription for it and it started before I got all my paperwork and before I had any questions. By the time I got everything settled out, that part of the stuff was already gone. But other than that, it's been all right. I've used them a couple of years ago for a will and a couple of generic contracts.

I live on Long Island, and I'm a laboratory director and a microbiologist. I started to be a customer about three years ago, and for whatever reason, I delayed revising my will. I didn't want to pay a lot of money, but now, our local county here is almost as bad as New York City as far as the Coronavirus numbers go including deaths. It made me think to update my will and a week ago, I found LegalZoom and filled in the details. I filled out the power of attorney too. It was very easy, and it went well. I'm meant to be able to have unlimited changes for up to 30 days as well and I had filled it out without considering my sons in the way of what exactly they wanted. I talked to them and now that I had more information, I went back on LegalZoom four days later and tried to change the details.

I had a huge issue with my LLC being formed just around the time of a global pandemic, which made me have to dissolve it immediately as I could not be open for business. After purchasing the package to get it started, an excellent representative by the name of Mathew ** was able to handle the situation perfectly and even use the money that I put towards the creation of my LLC into the dissolution of the company. I am very pleased by the service and Mathew's helpful knowledge about making sure I dissolve it within the 90 day period to avoid the huge annual fee by the state. Thank you Mathew and Legal Zoom!

A large part of what I’m doing involves real estate and condos right around where I live. So to open the LLC, a lot of it is to protect myself. I liked the whole idea and the convenience of using LegalZoom. As far as the LLC being set up, everything’s okay. The branch is actually closed and I have to get the woman I usually deal with on the line. I’m on hold because I’m still waiting to set up my business bank account with the LLC and then I’ll put the real estate holdings into that account. I’m also getting quite a few things from the tax side of LegalZoom but I can’t respond to them because I haven’t done the bank account thing yet. Other than that, everything went well.

I'm very involved with a lot of different issues and entrepreneurial stuff. So I’m pretty comfortable with doing a lot of stuff on my own. But I like the ability of having the legal backing of an entity that has lawyers running it, but allow you to kinda do it yourself kind of stuff. LegalZoom's process was fairly thorough. The only thing was that the articles of organization should have been a little bit more tailored to set up without having to talk to an attorney. Like there should be standard language into an operating agreement when there's a death of an owner in the partnership. But other than that, it was okay.

I paid for Gold Package for LegalZoom to file an LLC for me. Everything was filled out properly on the form I submitted. They sent me an email stating my filing is on hold as they wanted more information. The information they wanted was to be certain of how I worded my LLC (all words together, like Johnson & Johnson). Delay #1. Ok... Whatever... Then they called me today, after the full amount of allotted filing ran its course (15 Days!) stating there is another delay in my filing. I called them and found out (according to them), they did not file all the necessary paperwork with the state. Meaning: This was going to begin from the start. Are you kidding me! I paid for the Gold Package! And I have a business venture that was requiring me to get this LLC Fast! OMG!!! LegalZoom totally dropped the ball and proved to me they are quite incompetent. They gave me a full refund immediately. I will NEVER use them for anything in the future.

I was looking for somebody to help me out to start up a non-profit. My attorney friend recommended LegalZoom and from what he knew, they were pretty good and efficient so I decided to give them a call. The representatives for the sales weren’t as thorough as I would have liked them to. But the customer service was very knowledgeable, patient, and walked through every step with me. I'm still in the process of filing part of it, which is the 501(c)(3), and I've had a hiccup on it because things won't process on their end. I wasn’t the happiest with that. But to set up a non-profit from start to end took about less than a month, which was good.

I originally did my LLC through them. Everything went fine. It has been 2 years and I’m still struggling to get them to stop charging me the fee the registered agent. The amount is OUTRAGEOUS. $299.99. I have tried to cancel and but they won’t let up. I am out of work. I never used the LLC. LEGALZOOM and the Coronavirus are ruining my life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY.

I used LegalZoom for an LLC. I talked with someone on the phone. I also went online but I had questions prior. It was a positive experience with LegalZoom. Although when I tried to get ahold of them, it’s just really long waiting times.

I had started the process about two years ago and bought a bundle package for power of attorney and healthcare proxy. But I never finished any of it. I got some documents sent, but I never had them filed or signed or made legal. Then, recently, I had a death in the family. It was a member of my family that did not have a will. I thought I’d better finish it. I’ve gotten the will and the power of attorney back with the information on it. But I still need to get that notarized.

LegalZoom filed an LLC for me and their service was quick and easy. I did most of it online and then I had someone follow up with me over the phone.

I used LegalZoom to create a corporation and to do wills and power of attorney. It was a fast and easy experience. LegalZoom has been a low-cost way to take care of common legal issues.

The last time I did my wills, it was very easy to do with LegalZoom so when we changed locations and changed states, I just went back to them for my estate documents. It was very easy to use and it was state-specific.

Use LegalZoom. It is very user-friendly. I used it for a power of attorney and a will.

LegalZoom seems to be working good and the cost is fair. It’s a three-month installment. In the long run, going with LegalZoom would be cheaper than hiring a personal attorney. It’s sometimes better to have something that's bigger than it is to have something that you may not be able to trust.

Updated on 04/11/2020: I just took the liberty of reviewing the Legal Zoom response. I find it interesting they say I did not order the EIN package, but yet clearly I was billed $79 for this. I have the receipt, order number, and everything. This is exactly the type of incompetence I'm speaking in reference to-get your facts straight Legalzoom.

I placed an order to create a Corporation in January 2020. It should have taken 2 weeks. It was finally completed by another company in early March in 24 hours. LegalZoom demonstrated to me...bad behaviour, lack of responsibility, Many failed promises, and even the last effort of requesting to speak to a manager...I was told that I'd get a call in 24 hours. And if that's not bad enough...it actually took 5 days to get a call from the manager. In fact, the person at CA Secretary of State told me "why do you use legalzoom, we have a lot of problems with that company." An absolute disaster & I probably wanted 40 hours of my time with them. Even their phone system callback feature is messed up...

I used LegalZoom about two and a half years ago when I was starting a business. It was pretty simple, inexpensive and it got the job done. Recently, I used it for some personal legal issues, wills, and power-of-attorney. I’m retired military. I was trying to get in to see the local military office but they kept saying to call next month. They were already full. Somebody told me that they had just done a will on LegalZoom and I thought why not. I was not doing anything complicated. I just needed a basic will. I did everything online and I didn't have any special requirements. It was fairly standard. I’m comfortable that the output was good enough. There are no issues that I am aware of so no news is good news.

I was selling a car and didn’t wanna pay the cost of just the paperwork I needed. Getting everything set up was very easy. And I liked the ease of working with them.

I registered and paid for a nonprofit through Legal Zoom about October/November. I received my corporation papers for my company, but the nonprofit part was never done. I have contacted Legal Zoom at least three times every month looking for a status on my order and every time I get a different answer from your customer service reps. Finally, today I got a rep, Jahmani who was very disrespectful and unwilling to do anything to get me answers about why my order was delayed. Finally, she said blatantly that the reason my order was held up was because I did not fill out the questionnaire correctly. I asked her to tell me the name of the questionnaire file she was looking at so I can compare it with my records of sent files. Again, after another 15 minutes, she stated that she was looking at the wrong thing and everything was correctly filled out and she would pass it along to the proper department.
