Stauer Jewelry seemed to be of good value and purchasing from them was very easy. I talked to people there that helped me out and it was excellent. Also, shipping was usually just several days, which is very fast.

I've had Stauer watches and have been quite pleased until the watchband clasp broke on my adventure dive watch. The watch is fine but one tiny knob on the clasp broke off. I would gladly purchase a new clasp for the watch but Stauer was unable to provide a source for the clasp or sell a replacement part, only the willingness to sell me a replacement guarantee for $35. I am very disappointed in their customer service.

Stauer has different jewelry compared to what I see in stores. It catches people's eyes. I love the jewelry because it is unique and it is never the same. But I wasn't really happy was the gold band. I thought it would be heavier, but it's not. It doesn't have any weight to it. Also, every time I wanna use my $25 coupon for the shipping and handling, they tell me that I can't use it. Even if I buy something at the book, they still tell me that I can't use it for shipping and handling. So, I just stopped ordering.
I purchased one of their ostrich leather bags about two years ago. There was a tear in it when I first got it. I carried it twice, and it had started tearing at the seams with the zipper. I never returned it because the warranty had ran out. So, I'm still holding on to it. I loved the bag, but I stopped carrying it because I didn't wanna damage it any more than it was already. If I woulda took it to a place to have it repaired, it would have cost me some money.

Stauer, I'm so disappointed in the quality of your product (View attachments) and I'm going to return it. By the nick and scratches on the knife, I'm sure this was a per-owned item. This was supposed to be a retirement gift it for the owner of the company I work for and now I have nothing to give him. Please send me the instructions for returning this item. The watches look great but mine only lasted for about ten years. I suppose that's what you get for "made in china." When I contacted Stauer about this, they said it is not common for a watch to fail after ten years. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to replace mine, I have no confidence it will last any longer.

I recently saw an advertisement in Smithsonian Magazine for the Stauer "Co-Pilots" watch and couldn't take my eyes off of it. I'm retired military, spent many years in the aviation industry and am a sucker for anything with distressed, real leather. iPad case, phone case, portfolio I carry in the office, computer bag, luggage, multiple jackets, multiple boots I bought living in Texas, all distressed brown leather. The band on this watch would have been a great addition to my obsession with bovine by-products.
As a bonus, the advertisement stated that IF you order using the order code supplied, they would throw in a pair of brown tint aviator's glasses. I knew they wouldn't be great quality, but I like leaving them in my boat or truck for those emergency situations where the Ray-Bans are elsewhere. I figured what the heck. Watch arrived yesterday. First thing noted was that there were no sunglasses. I called their customer service and they said they would immediately send those, that the warehouse had screwed up the order and not included them. Points for being responsive. I liked that there was no argument.
Then I started looking closely at the watch. First glance wasn’t impressive. Band was handsome. Watch looked cheap. I bought a Stauer 15 years ago and loved it, still have it. But I haven’t worn it in years. I was in an aircraft. My team was modifying and bumped my wrist against an exposed stringer and the crystal chipped. I never could get an answer from Stauer on how to repair that, and they didn’t send me any clear direction. Just directions to send it in, and when I pressed for direction i.e. "Will you repair it or what" they said, "Just send it to the address we provided." I’ve since learned they repair nothing. I’m not sure WHY they wanted me to send it in.
Back to the watch, and by way of establishing some credence to my judgment, I own a few Citizen Eco Watches, a Tag Heuer, and a host of other lesser valued but moderately priced watches. This just felt cheap. No heft to it, no weight. The first one years ago felt and looked good. This looked moderately OK, but it FELT cheap. SO I read the directions just to ensure I did nothing wrong, and the first step was to pull the stem out. I tried. Wouldn’t budge. Re looked at the directions. Step one. Pull stem out to 2nd position to set time. Tried again. No Dice. Then I pulled a little harder with my thumb and index finger. Stem popped off in my hand. Then I noticed the tiny plastic spacer that had been ON the watch, on the stem, keeping the stem in the outer position. (I assume to preserve battery).
So in essence, they shipped it with the stem out, with a microscopic white piece of plastic that is smaller than the head of the stem that I couldn’t see, and the directions tell you step one… Pull out the stem. Yep, I broke it, but I feel like this wasn’t my fault. Anyone who knows anything about aviation knows that you follow every written direction to the letter.
I’m sending it back, and asking for a refund. Sadly, I know I’m out the initial $19.95 in shipping, and the 8 to return it. $27.95, and for what? Cheap sunglasses? If they arrive. Lesson learned. Stauer is apparently selling cheap crap more than likely made in China or some other repressed third world place and passing it off as decent quality at a lower cost. Don’t be fooled. Buy a Timex, or an Invicta. What's worse is that a reputable magazine like Smithsonian is selling them full page adverts. I expect that in VFW, where you can also get Velcro shoes in bone and grey, but Smithsonian?

Back in March of 2019 I made my first purchase with Stauer, a watch. When I received it I set the time, date, etc. then took it to my Jewelers to get resized. The next day I noticed one of the push buttons missing. To make a long story short, Stauer replaced the watch, even resizing the new one to the same size as the old one. That is going above and beyond normal customer service. Great work!!!

I was excited to receive my new watch from Stauer only to find out that the "second" hand was not functional. I returned the watch for credit. I soon found out that not only did I pay $19.95 for postage and handling to receive the watch but I paid $9.10 for P & H to return it. My initially paid total $125.50 for the watch including tax, P & H and was credited $96.45. $29.05 was probably what the watch was really worth.

I contacted the 800 number today to inquire about repairs to one of my watches that I've purchased over the past 6 years only to find out that they don't repair any watches! What company would you trust to stand behind their product? Apparently, STAUER ISN'T ONE OF THEM! Don't waste your hard earned money with this company!

I heard about from Stauer Science News. They are pretty good, and it's best if you call them by phone. You can't beat their prices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They charge one-fifth the price, and they got me a couple of extra deals on the phone too. They do sometimes take a few days before your item is shipped off, but, then again, they are the polar vortex's side. So, that might have been the reason why. I recently purchased a moonstone ring with rubies around it like a flower, and it is beautiful. Stauer provides high quality for a low markup. The guy on the phone also explained to me that unlike a jewelry store where they do low volume with high markup, they do high volume with low markup. I've recommended them to a friend.

I took advantage of the Valentine's Day special and ordered a Metropolitan watch. It functioned for two hours. I was charged eight dollars to return it and after several weeks, still have not received the refund. When I called to ask about the refund, I was told that they are "so backed up with returns, they are only dealing with March 11 returns." If this is such a fine company, why are there are so many returns? Think carefully before ordering from this company.

My Life Partner bought me many rings from Stauer and gave them to me on important occasions. He was very romantic and chose the jewelry which he felt had a beautiful connection to our relationship. He first ran across Stauer in the VFW magazine and after our first experience with the jewelry, he never bought from any other company. The jewelry is stunning. I'm kind of rough on rings but every piece has kept its shine and beauty through the years. The Diamond Aura stones sparkle more than diamonds I have! Sadly, my Sweetheart passed away the middle of January 2018. The last ring he gave me was Stauer's "Forever Infinity" ring on Christmas 2018. Because it's the last jewelry he will ever buy for me, I'm so glad it came from Stauer because I know it will hold up over the years and help keep his memory alive.

I got one of the sales booklets from Stauer and they always have the specials that other stores don’t have. Recently, I bought a ring from Stauer. It looks like an amethyst but it’s a tanzanite ring. When I order from them, I usually call in and I look at the brochure. I don’t buy a whole lot, but this last year, I went overboard a little bit. I compromised so I went ahead and started ordering. The quality is nice and some of it is unusual jewelry. Mostly, it’s the right price. Also, the interaction with the rep has been very well and usually, I would receive the items within a few days. I don’t have to go over a week and it would be here. I’ve had a good experience with Stauer any time I’ve ordered anything.

On March 26th I tried to order an item as advertised in Smithsonian April issue. When I put in the offer code for the discount, your site said the offer code 'KRT437-02' had expired. How can you advertise in the April issue but have the offer code expired on March 26? This is very bad business practice and is false advertising. I will not order any items from Stauer now or in the future.

I received many calls from Marlo ** telling me I had a $50 credit voucher on my next purchase. I didn't really need anything but thought I would take advantage of this offer. I ordered and received my purchases but noted that there was no $50 credit. I called Marlo but he didn't return my call. I called him again about a week later and he said that it was too late to claim the credit - he couldn't apply it to my card. I called customer service to tell them I would be returning the items and they told me there would be an $8 charge for shipping which they would charge to my card. Must be you can only charge a card after the fact but can't credit it.
After these numerous calls from Marlo telling me about my special concierge offer, ordering the merchandise, and calls to customer service, I will not only not receive my $50 credit, I have to go to the bother of packing up the items and taking them to UPS, and I'm also out $8. This whole experience feels like a scam to me. I will definitely tell anyone who will listen about this experience with Stauer.

When I was browsing a book, I saw some stuff from Stauer Jewelry. I know the name and I've bought most of the stuff I saw that I liked. I usually buy online. If there's something I see, I key it in and it comes to the mail, usually in under two weeks. I've got one watch that is really complicated. I got the time on it, but it's like a puzzle and I have some learning to go through. There's a watch I saw the other day and that’s one thing I’m gonna get. I got the flyer and there was the watch in there and some other kind of jewelry that I thought was kind of cute. I like what I have bought from Stauer Jewelry so far and I wear it every day when possible.

I liked Stauer Jewelry's watch and that made me buy from them. I bought about four watches, and it was easy doing it on the phone. Their reps were great. They were really informative, answered all my questions and explained the subscription very well. Plus, I was given information that I didn’t even ask for, which was helpful. I received the items in a couple of days and it had good quality. Moreover, they have deals where you buy one and then you can get another one free. The free items have lesser quality, but it's free. They also send me monthly magazines. I recommend Stauer Jewelry to people all the time.

I had bought a watch from Stauer Jewelry and it didn’t work, so I sent it back to them. They sent me another watch but it didn’t work either. So, I had sent in a request for a refund and that was almost a month ago. I called the other day and they said, “We’ll be getting it out to you shortly.” But a few days have passed and I still haven't received it. Evidently, I'm not happy about it. I’ve paid money for this thing and I’m still waiting for it. I would not recommend Stauer. A few things were bought for my wife and they were okay. But I’m not very happy about this situation with the pocket watch.

I liked the merchandise that Stauer Jewelry had and I've bought mostly for myself although I also gave a little bit as a gift. Buying from Stauer was easy. The only thing I didn’t like was this concierge service that I got bumped up to. All it really meant was that they were going to call you a couple of times a week to tell you about very expensive specials that they have. It was okay except that it was a little too frequent and a little too intrusive. If I declined the call, they wanted to know why and when they could call back. If it got you a discount, that would have been great. But there was no discount. You just get a chance to buy some very limited quantities of some very expensive jewelry.
The shipping was also almost always prohibitive. I would buy when the shipping was free or when they had combined shipping when I was gonna buy a lot. But even then, they would bump the price up on the combined shipping. Sometimes, they would even send something in an envelope and they would charge 20 bucks for it. I sell vintage jewelry, which I send out too, and I know that costs two bucks. But other than that, Stauer was great. In fact, I’ve been very happy with the quality of the pieces I’ve purchased so far.

I bought Christmas presents from Stauer Jewelry and their prices were reasonable. The woman I spoke to was very accommodating and she walked me through the process. She was very polite and helpful. Even though I ordered close to Christmas, she guaranteed me the jewelry would be delivered for Christmas so I was very happy. The people who received the gifts were very happy with them. They were of nice quality and the price was phenomenal.

I ordered this watch 3 times as gifts and they were a big hit with the recipients. Finally ordered one for my husband as a holiday gift, because he thought it was a beautiful watch. Well, he wears his Urban Blue every day and gets tons of compliments on it. Thanks to Stauer for a classic men's watch that is good looking as well as affordable. I recently purchased a 1920s inspired sterling silver ring from Stauer (retail price $299 current price $69 sale price $14, I ordered during their Valentine's Day sale) and I was truly impressed with the quality and believability of the ring. This was my first purchase with this company and I only knew about them from the mail order catalogs my dad would receive while growing up. I will definitely purchase from them again since they have sales quite often and would recommend a friend as well!

Purchased the Stauer Hybrid digital analog watch. It was on sale for an excellent price. It is a very nice looking watch. It is difficult to set the analog time. After a few hours the analog doesn't keep time with the digital. The band is adjustable but it took me a while the decipher the directions. The band is also cheaply made. But for the price, I decided to keep it.

This is the second piece of jewelry that I have purchased from this company. The first was an Art Deco style ring with sapphire and lab created diamonds in rhodium plated sterling silver. I was so impressed by the quality! I love it! I purchased this new pamirite ring just last week. I have already gotten so many compliments on it. A friend at work snatched my hand to admire it. The pink gemstone is a cushion shaped rose cut gem, which means it has many facets that catch and reflect the light. On the sides, it has two round circles that have lab created diamond pavé. It is a bold size ring, but because it is such a lovely soft pink color, it looks very classy.
The rose gold tone metal band is just a tiny bit too orange for my preference. Because the ring fits well, however, it doesn't turn on my finger, so the band is not visible. I have worked in the fine jewelry industry for years. This ring is every bit as beautiful as something costing $2000 or more. I plan to be continue being a loyal customer at Stauer.

Stauer Watches are spectacular! They're certainly not high end watches, but they definitely give the impression they are! I own four, and they're some of my favorites in my collection. Good customer service as well! Their designs mimic some older 1930 and 1940 style era watches. I'll continue to collect them!

After a couple years of drooling, I recently bought my first Stauer men's watch. To be specific, it is the Quantum Leap model which has a very unique design unlike any other analog watch I've seen on the market. The ordering process via www.Stauer.com was easy, shipping information was accurate to the day, & the watch arrived in a sturdy box for storage. The Quantum Leap watch has a solid feel to the case & crystal (rated 5 ATM water resistant) that I expect to last for many years. The face & its components are beautifully machined & very pleasing to the eye. Everything works as it should & I couldn't be happier with my watch & the ordering process. This may be my first watch from Stauer, but it will definitely not be the last! I've already got my eye on one or two other timepieces & look forward to passing them on to my son when he is ready to learn about the value of time. Thanks, Stauer. :)

The piece is beautiful though I hesitated to spent the money. But the story seemed to make it worth it. Now it’s called Wild Horses, the story is completed different. I wouldn’t have bought it with this story. Did I fall for false advertising? At the least I got suckered. Won’t trust descriptions anymore. Concerned to purchase from Stauer again as don’t really know what I’m buying.

Deliveries are not made as promised. One order for Valentine Day on Feb. 1 has never arrived. This is Valentine Day! In the past you are not notified when it’s back ordered. Once you become a premium member, they assign you a particular sales person. In most order cases they are not available. I have left my number for a call-back, with no return.

My 96 year old father kept ordering jewelry from Stauer. I finally got control of the account and sent a boxes of the stuff back. One ring was $1200 and was told they would send a UPS driver to pick it up, because of the price point. After 12 days of trying to get my account person to answer the phone or return a call, I sat on hold for 10 min and talked to a customer service person that could not do anything because the cost of the ring was over the price point. Person offered to send me to my account person, I told them not to do that as he would not answer the phone, I had called them many times. Customer service person sent it on up the food chain to be reviewed within 48 hours. I advised that if I did not hear back today, (12 day of no contact was enough) I was going to mail it back today at 4PM. Talk about frustrating and bad service!!!

It was good that Stauer was in a position to offer a significant discount on its shipping and handling fee - at the time of my purchase of a men's jewelry item. Also, seeing I placed the order online (using my bank card), Stauer shipped the order practically right away. The item arrived in a prompt and timely manner. The item purchased exceeds expectations. Not only is the Meteorite Tungsten Ring a superb work of art, but it possesses a certain magic of its very own. Indeed, this is The Right Choice.

My wife liked what she saw at Stauer Jewelry, so I bought three rings, some earrings, and a necklace from them. I purchased the items online and over the phone. And Stauer's process for both methods was really straightforward and easy. Plus, when I talked to their rep, Maria, she was really professional. Everything has been good so far. Right now, I'm waiting on another gift and it should be here in a day or two.

My husband saw this watch in a magazine. I purchased it for Christmas - ordering and delivery was fine. However, when he opened the gift and started to set the date, the stemwinder fell right out! On top of the poor quality, The return process is taking forever. They do provide a free shipping return label, but use the "service" Newgistics. Our item was 15 days in transit and now has been with Stauer 15 days. You would think the embarrassment of such a faulty product would rate a better customer service response.

My wife and I have made several purchases with Stauer over the years. Have always received great products and top notch service. Over many years we have had only one issue and Stauer bent over backwards to make it right. With our recent purchase they have added a Norton purchase reassurance. Not that they need it but it’s another layer of "sleep better at night". Stauer watches which is usually our purchases, are of top quality. They always arrived well protected/packed. Watches are of the best quality. I have had some for many, many years with not one issue. Bottom line, this is a top notch company and now with the Norton addition. You can't go wrong.

YES,YES,YES!!! My Blue Stone Chronograph, arrived just as Stauer had said. Case and watch was in perfect shape. When the digital and analog settings were in their settings the piece works as great as stated by Stauer. I gratefully thank Stauer for every extraordinary first rated beautiful timepieces, as well as all their jewelry! My wife & friends love the Blue Stone, as a "jaw dropping timepiece," at such a reasonable price cost. I have bought 4 different watches. All have had such the very same wonderful flawless standards as this master watch. Keep supplying great jewelry at a price laymen can afford to look like a thousand dollar jewelry items. I have always been amazed by Stauer's watches and jewelries. I am a watch collector and have since started to collect jewelries since I got my first Italian Courage Ring from Stauer. Of course, all of the Stauer watches that I got are simply the best, or should I say its style surely matches its elegance. The jewelries will win your woman's heart. Surely, It became an investment of my character.

Mr order included items I did not order, charges I did not approve, and price updates that were not in accord with the price I ordered. The price for a leather bag was $99. I was charged $115. I did not approve a 3 yr replacement, or a charge for a cleaning kit. The membership which I canceled does not allow the discount in tech catalog and the membership discount. So, you pay higher with the membership. Very bad experience and will never order again from Stauer.

I’ve ordered various pieces over the years, both for myself and as presents for my sisters, my mother, and my mother-in-law. I’ve been happy with everything, and the quality of everything has been great. I’ve been wearing several of the rings (I like sterling silver) for years, and they look lovely. I’ve never had stones fall out or experienced any problems. Recently I got a green Prasiolite ring in yellow gold for $99 (amazing price when compared to other Prasiolite pieces I’ve bought from jewelers) and it’s just about the prettiest ring I own. I get compliments all the time! Plus this Christmas, my best friend surprised me with a beautiful turquoise necklace from Stauer. I feel like Frida Kahlo when I wear it, and I get loads of compliments at work on it, too.
I also like the fact that Stauer is making diamonds. No one needs to buy real diamonds, ever, unless they know they are conflict free. But then, why worry and spend thousands when you can order lab-create diamonds that no one can tell from the “real” thing? The only downside is that the “insurance” you can buy does not cover loss. I purchased coverage when I got an earring & necklace set, and when I lost an earring, I was out of luck. So in the future, I’ll skip this extra expense because I’ve never needed it for damage or lost stones. Which I guess is actually a positive! I’m sure I’ll remain a Stauer customer for years to come.

I recently purchased the heritage watch from Stauer at an unbelievable price. I received the watch and am extremely impressed with the beautiful design and quality of the watch. I decided to have a stretch band put on my new watch and took it to a very reputable jeweler in the area. After installing the new band on my watch, the jeweler said to me that she absolutely loved the face design and quality of the watch and wanted to know where she could purchase one.

I purchased a diamond aura ring to update my engagement ring. The price was affordable, and to be completely honest I did not think the ring was going to be as beautiful. Shipment took about a week and when I got it, it was packaged beautifully. I opened up the ring box and wow was I blown away with the quality of this ring. The fire alone looked real. To put the ring to test I wore it to the doctor's office where I work and got the opinions from my co-workers along with the doctor's wife whose ring is really expensive. Side by side you could not tell that my ring was any different than hers. They were all shocked when I told them that it only cost me $19.95. I have never had a group of woman ask me for the website name so fast in my life. Stauer exceeded my expectations with this piece.

I ordered a knife for my son for his birthday. On Jan 9th I received a package which contained a watch. So disappointed I called immediately and explained the situation and how upset I was because my son's birthday was on the 11th. Customer service was Awesome!! A number of times an ad from Stauer appeared in The American Rifleman magazine. Finally, I decided to buy a Helenite ring/ear-ring set [Item 28508] for my granddaughter. I went to their website on 09 Jan 19 and tried to place an order using the Promo Code shown in the ad [SLR586-02] and the promotion price didn't show up on my screen. I backed out of that screen and started over, this time using the Promo Code listed in their website [WEB2470] and got the same response. So far, I had entered ALL my information except for my CC number which I was NOT about to do without the promo price showing.
An e-mail was sent to Stauer pointing out the aforementioned steps taken to place my order. A response was promised within 24 hours. A response came through this morning as promised but they didn't address the problems that I spelled out. They merely wanted to know how they could help me or call their Cust Svc phone which I did.
After getting nowhere with the lady who answered the phone, I asked to speak to her boss. She came on the phone finally. I told her all that transpired [she couldn't look at my e-mail because I hadn't set up an account [ordered anything]]. She asked me to visit their website again and do everything again but use Promo Code WEBDEAL. It worked. Re-read the ad much more carefully and there is no mention of a Promo Code expiration date nor the website. Having thought about it, I decided to order something really inexpensive in order to "establish an account" because I wanted to present for my granddaughter to be shipped to her home [we live 100 miles apart]. I have not seen the Consumer Affairs Terms of Use so I can't agree to them. As I started the process, I ran across a listing of reviews and went there. Glad I did, no order placed.

I purchased a Stauer Atomic Platinum Watch for a Christmas present for my husband. It arrived in time but, after 2 days, it stopped working. I called customer service and they sent me a Parcel Select Return Label and I dropped it off at the Post Office on the 28th of December, 2018. I called today, January 7th, 2019 and was told that the watch was still in transit. Taking into account, the New Year’s holiday, I wasn't too upset that it had not arrived at the final destination yet. However, I was told that if it arrived sometime this week, it would take an additional 3 weeks to process the order... that they were working on returns received on the 19th and 20th of December, 2018.
I paid $225 for this watch. I have received better customer service from a discount store with a $50 watch. I don't know why, in this day and age, it would take so long to process this return. On top of everything else, when the watch arrived, it did not contain a receipt for the purchase. This is not my first purchase with Stauer through the years but, it will definitely be my last if I don't receive my replacement in short order.

I did purchase 7 different items on December 17 2018 for Christmas and a birthday (Order # **); the order started badly from the beginning as the price change on the submission. I sent an email immediately and call customer service in the morning (Dec 18) to fix the issue and request the 2-day delivery, the person who helped me (Nancy) mentioned she waved the additional cost due to the inconvenient. I have been tracking the order since then and I have been told different versions and excuses every time. Just today Jan 4, 2019, I got different statements about the order being shipped on Dec 27 and delivered on 31st, but we haven't received anything yet and there is no way to get an answer on how a 2 day shipping ended in 3 weeks. Stauer ruined Christmas. I will never recommend it to anyone.

In the AARP Magazine there was an article about Eagle Eyes Navigator sunglasses to wear in the summer or for night vision. I was thrilled and thought that if AARP recommended them, they must be good. However, after reading all the reviews recently, I am very afraid to order these because of all the bad experiences with Stauer, particularly on watches. I would be interested in hearing other opinions on this product or other recommendations of a "trustworthy" company. For now, I am not ordering from them.

My husband ordered 3 items (2 watches and a ring) on December 17 2018. He paid an extra $40 for 3 day shipping. 3 days later and no items were delivered. I checked the status on the email and was presented with “back ordered”. No direct message or updated email was sent with this new information. My husband called them, again. They apologized and said the whole order was held up because 1 item...rose gold watch, was backordered. They offered to send the other 2 items and even offered to overnight them with no charge. Perfect right? Wrong! 5 days later (Christmas Day) and nothing received. I check the status online and it still says backordered! What?!
I called them today, absolutely furious! Meanwhile they haven’t forgotten to charge us the $99 annual platinum fee. I call today and present the issues and just about imploded. When I point out that it still states ‘back ordered ‘ online... the helpful rep (sarcasm) informs me that, no, the rose gold watch isn’t back ordered... They don’t carry it anymore! So I present her with this conundrum. If they don’t carry it anymore, why the hell is my order postponed until the rose gold watch is in stock?! Also why the hell were we told it would be overnighted...when they don’t even have it? Needless to say. I demanded the so called platinum member fee be refunded. We’ll see if the other 2 items show up. NOT IMPRESSED!

Immediately after replacing the battery, the second hand stopped moving. The digital portion of the watch is working fine, indicating the new battery is good. But the arms are not working at all. I love the watch, just wish it would work properly. Thanks for your anticipated help.

I ordered the Men's Metropolitan in November as a Christmas present. On Christmas Day, when the watch box was opened, and the watch was tried on for the very first time, the watch strap broke. The metal clip at the top of the watch strap literally flew off. We haven't been able to put it back together yet; will probably have to go to a jewellers and buy a new watch strap. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Stauer has great products and outstanding customer service. I have been a customer for years and have never been disappointed. I always buy when discounts are great! And they offer them often. Sometimes, their shipping fee deters me from completing the purchase. But most of the time, the discounts they offer are so deep that the shipping cost can be justified! You cannot go wrong with their products! And their customer service personnel take their work seriously. I am just about to make another purchase where I was able to get $118 more in savings on top of the $551 in price drops they offered - A chronograph watch and a Peridot necklace for a song. Yeah buddy. Stauer rocks!

I have been seeing Stauer ads and a friend is a regular customer. I ordered a Urban Blue Men's watch because of how it looked in the ad and the price was so reasonable. I was wearing the watch every day until after a couple of months the blue color started to fade. The blue is now gray! I called but CSR said 30 day return policy so nothing they can do but sell me a warranty. Very poor product and service!

I received the pearl necklace and bracelet in a very cheap, semi-crushed black box; not fit to give as a gift. The necklace and bracelet were in a jumbled pile at one end of the box. I have my doubts as to whether the necklace would fit the neck of a woman, more likely the neck of a 10 year old girl. I'm very disappointed in Stauer.

A loyal customer over 13 years. I purchased a Stauer Iron Horse for my wife last Christmas which she has worn 3 or 4 times. Last week she set it to wear but it did not hold time. When I called Stauer, I was informed since I had not purchased a warranty we had no recourse. While I've never had any problems with items I've purchased in the past, I never knew I needed to purchase a separate warranty. I just assumed it came with a least a 1 year warranty. I took the watch to our jeweler (we've used them over 30 years) and was informed it will cost $200 plus tax to repair.
Since I can't justify the additional expense of an item owned less than a year and worn no more than 5 times I will not be having it fixed and I would appreciate it you would remove my name from your mailing list as I am no longer interested in purchasing any merchandise from your company, and will make sure I inform friends and associates who've admired and purchased items because of my recommendation about your repair policy.

I was told by e-mail that my order would be delivered on December 4. It was not. I did not receive any explanation from Stauer as to why my order was not delivered on December 4 or when it would be delivered. I am in the process of canceling my order. I was told on December 4 that I would have to return the product AT MY EXPENSE. My experience with Stauer will apparently cost me money for which I will receive nothing. Customer service is dead in America and Stauer is the perfect example of its passing.

Intrigued by a magazine ad in late 2014 and anxious to ditch digital watches for an “automatic” (i.e., self-winding) analog timepiece, I finally ordered a lovely Stauer WWII-era “Ritorno” replication at an attractive price by using promotional code RTN373-02. Stauer confirmed my purchase in a January 20, 2015, email. The watch arrived on January 27.
My initial impression was very good. It looked beautiful and had the heft and feel of a substantial watch. The self-promoting line they use in their advertising about having many millions of dollars of precision Swiss watch-making equipment seemed justified at first glance. These highly positive impressions did not last too long, I’m afraid, being replaced by experiences of considerable deficiencies before too much time passed.
This Ritorno almost immediately began exhibiting two serious flaws: It ran very slow, so I would reset it each morning, using the NIST (time.gov) website after it initially had lost about a minute. Then it began losing more and more time until it was running 2.5 minutes slow in 24 hours. Next, it began picking up time until it was running perhaps 20 seconds slow in a day; then, erratic variabilities began to occur, with the time being lost or gained with no apparent pattern. The watch did not always resume running when I pushed the crown (stem) firmly in after setting the time. I would have to repeat the process once or even twice to get the hands to begin moving again.
Finally, by November 2015, I could not put up with this any longer and approached Stauer. They apologized and described how to get a warranty replacement. They required the original watch in hand before they would replace it, so I had to be without the watch for several weeks. At last, on February 5, 2016, the replacement Ritorno arrived. It began exhibiting problems immediately. I emailed Stauer on February 8 to report this to them:
“I received this warranty replacement Ritorno on February 5. Sadly, it has not worked correctly no matter what I have done. This watch seems to have a defective crown mechanism. I cannot set the time properly. When pulled to the "2" position, the crown does not reliably stop the watch, which continues to run, sometimes erratically for several seconds. Sometimes giving the crown a firm extra tug will stop the watch, but sometimes not. Then, pushing the crown back in, no matter how carefully, causes the second hand to jump several seconds. I certainly would like to enjoy a Ritorno watch. The design is very appealing, and I much liked the first one I received until it began failing. This replacement had failed before I even opened the box. Please send me a mail-back label so I can return this defective replacement. I earnestly hope the third Ritorno will be the one that reliably works.”
The third one arrived on April 1, 2016. It worked relatively OK for a brief time and then began exhibiting flaws. To begin with, these included the two problems with the first watch and the cluster of problems with the second one. As time went on, an additional fault began showing up: the failure of the crown to stop reliably in the “1" position, where the date can be adjusted. I finally gave up even bothering with it, given that it eventually rarely worked. The little window is so small that it is not really useful anyway.
Time went by, and I pretty much gave up, realizing that if that expensive precision Swiss equipment really were in use to make these watches, it was in the hands of inept workers. Probably in such circumstances a person is lucky to get anything that even halfway works. But to read the ads, a person would think that the next stop was a Rolex.
I let the three-year warranty lapse in early 2018 without going through the whole miserable business again, feeling certain that I would not get anything better but might actually be sent a worse watch. One semi-bright spot in this dismalness is that the watch has been consistently running only about five seconds slow a day for several months, but its erratic behavior easily could begin again. If there is no explanation for what’s wrong, there is no way to predict anything.
I’ll put up with this Ritorno for as long as I can stand it and then acquire another automatic watch from another manufacturer, one that produces reliable products rather than blowing a bunch of hot air about it that may a be good marketing strategy but is misleading and even deceitful. Oh, yes: The rating is one star only because of the lovely appearance of the watch and nothing else. Otherwise, I’d have rated it with no stars, were that permitted.

Place an order shipping it to a different address, had the order confirmed, order charged to my credit card only to be told the next day that I cannot ship to another address. Was told this was for security reason that they will not ship to another address unless you have been with them for 30 days. At Christmas time timing is important and Stauer has no concern for the customer and the two people I talked to were the worst customer service people.

I sent in a mail order purchase with coupons and a money order covering the purchase in September 2018. By the end of October I had received no jewelry and no contact via phone or email from Stauer. However, several times per week I would receive phone voicemail from their sales team encouraging me to use my coupons. When I called them the customer service department told me I had not sent the correct amount of money and they disregarded my coupons. I gave them my credit card number for the balance and they said the original order would be mailed promptly. I waited with no contact from them except the phone voicemail messages from sales.
In November 2018 I called one of the sales personnel bypassing the poor customer service and was told they would transfer me to a supervisor who would straighten this mess out. I was right back to customer service and they had used an expired credit card I had used once YEARS ago, not the current card I had repeated to them on the phone in November. No one had called or emailed me with this information! I requested my money be returned from the original order and to take me off their mailing list.
To this day, November 25, 2018 I have received no refund and continue to receive their catalogs and sales voicemail messages. Going into, now December, I have not been reimbursed my $129.50 money order I sent for the jewelry order they would not send. I still receive the sale calls via voice message. I am going to pursue further action to receive the $129.50 they are holding but I will never do business with this company again. For further information the flower ring I purchased years ago fell apart in three months.

I’ve ordered several things from you and my reviews are mixed. The items are pretty but the quality on some are disappointing. I learned right away to avoid anything gold toned with you due to the fact that the one I tried rubbed off and now just looks cheap. But my latest order was the last straw! I’ve always felt your shipping and handling charges were robbery and even if you join up they are still higher than the other vendors I deal with. My last order has sat in the post office for three days and when I called they told me that the item was sent parcel select which is a lower shipping level and takes longer to actually be sorted for delivery. Imagine that rates that are twice as high as other companies and a lower priority shipping. You are ripping off customers to pad your profits. I have called in and taken my name off your mailing list. No more Stauer for me!

I called to place an order and talked with Mark. Things went well until Mark tried to upsell me on their Platinum Member Plan. When I declined he got very pushy & would not drop it. I finally told him I just wanted to complete my purchase but he kept pushing. I asked if he understood what ‘no’ meant & he asked if I understood what he had just told me about the benefits of membership. At this point I told Mark to cancel my order and to let me speak to a supervisor. He told me he would get a supervisor & put me on hold. After a very long time I was disconnected. I called back & asked for a supervisor & was told I should call back the next day because no supervisors work in the evenings. I called the next day & again asked for a supervisor. This time I was told that I could not speak directly to a supervisor but that someone would review my previous phone call me back. It has been several days & I have heard nothing. I loved this ring from the minute I saw it in the brochure. I ordered it right away. I have opals I purchased in Australia and I am completing the set with this gorgeous ring. The colors are like a rainbow and the fire that flashes when you turn your hand are magnificent. Ordering was so easy, plus I got a bonus necklace. The value can't be beat. I have a Stauer "Graves" men's wristwatch. I love this watch and everything about it. Its style is unique and it functions well. Its design makes it unlike any other watch I've ever owned. The only problem I had was because of its unusual design. It was impossible to locate a replacement watchband that would fit. When I went to the Stauer website it said that the particular watchband was not available. I was very frustrated until I called Stauer. They do carry the watchband and it is available. If you need a replacement watchband for this watch ignore the website and call them directly at: 888-333-2012, Customer Service. They solved the problem quickly and there's a watchband on its way to me right now. All is forgiven and I'm back in love with Stauer and my beautiful watch.

I was interested in the Stauer Jewelry advertisement I saw on a magazine and I've purchased from them 3 times now. My purchasing experience was good but I have not always been satisfied with what I received. Yet this I have found with other similar jewelry type places too where the jewelry on the picture appears at its very best but the one I receive may have not quite the quality of stone. Still, Stauer was fast and when I wanted to return things, they accepted them back and that was taken care of rather quickly too.

My wife bought me a Stauer Versailles Watch as a Christmas gift in November, 2017. After receiving it at Christmas and starting to use it, I had some problems with its performance. I called Stauer and learned that they only honored a 30 day warranty, even though their paperwork states their "fine timepiece if covered under at "two" year limited manufacturer's warranty". This is extremely limited in my opinion. With the watch not performing up to standard, I continued to use it. Recently I hit the watch against a hard surface and cracked the crystal. This morning I called Stauer to make arrangements to have the crystal replaced.
The customer service representative informed me that they did not perform watch repair. I told her that the damage was my fault and I was willing to pay for the repair or purchase a new crystal and have a local watch repair install it. She said Stauer did no watch repairs and sold no parts. This is very poor customer service and I will not do business with Stauer in the future. I purchased Stauer jewelry items for my wife. The finishes on them wear off very quickly. I would recommend you not do any business with this company. They sell inferior products and offer poor after sale services.

Back on Jan 26th 2014 I bought a Stauer TAC-7 watch from your company as a replacement for the Rolex Explorer II I had been wearing for the previous 30 years. Stauer Jewelry's prices looked good and I bought some stuff from them. The quality of the items that I got is mostly good and some of the items were fine, but some of the jewelry has turned out to be miniature and unbelievably small. They gotta put the size of the stuff or put something beside it so we can get a feel of the size. I bought a turquoise Catholic cross for 75 bucks and it turned out to be miniature compared to what was on the catalog picture. When I bought a couple of necklace and earring things for my wife, she laughed and asked if those were for a doll or for people.
I rarely return stuff that I bought, but I have some things that I got from them that I should have returned. I paid $70 for a pocket knife and it was a piece of junk. It was supposed to be a one-hand operation, but I can't open it with one hand. The beautiful layered metal that was shown in the catalog picture was also not there and it was dull. I collect those knives and that was the worst one I've ever had.
I ordered a coral necklace and earrings matching set that cost $400. I had a discount which made the price $320, but when I got my order I didn't get that price. When I called Stauer about why I didn't get the discounted price, the girl rep was really nasty to me. She kept demanding to talk to my wife, but that jewelry set was supposed to be a surprise for my wife. I finally talked to a supervisor and he got the matter squared away. They gave me the right price, but that was such a bitter experience that I cut way back on my purchases from them, and I don't know if I'll buy any more from them or not. I would not recommend Stauer Jewelry.

My elderly father has been shopping with you for years. He is very generous and buys us what he feels is quality and beautiful pieces. How he describes each piece is almost word for word from the catalog. What we receive is very ordinary cheaply made costume jewelry. What bothers me the most is the constant phone calls from Stauer with CSRs that act very familiar to this elderly man. They "worry" about him and are there for him. I know this is true because he takes his calls on speaker phone. These reps are usually very concerned and sweet sounding women. I feel your company is behaving in a predatory manner. Preying on an elderly old man. I told the rep today, not to call my father unless he initiates an order or customer service request.

I am a horrible shopper. I admit it. But I keep trying. In May I ordered a necklace for my wife’s birthday in August, and she hated it. She also questioned my getting suckered into buying a membership. We contacted your customer service department to discuss the possibility of an exchange, given more than 30 days had passed. We were told to fill out the return/exchange form and send back the necklace, and we did. We received a refund and called regarding the exchange, and were told it would be processed. A few days later, we got a call and your representative said there were no exchanges after 30 days. Thanks for nothing, literally. GET YOUR STORIES STRAIGHT! Would have left zero stars if that was an option.

I had bought a lot from Stauer and I’ve been doing business with them for a long time. I'm very pleased with their customer service and pricing. The website is fine and it's fairly quick to buy something. I like their ease of use. They also do a lot of email marketing, which is easy for me to click on and see if there’s anything useful in their current sales. Their support staff is pretty quick about taking and placing orders and letting me get off the phone. Their sales team is good and they seem to know the products pretty well. When they don’t have something in stock, they make suggestions about other products that may be attractive or similar. I’m happy doing business with Stauer and I’d continue to buy from them.

Ordered three items Monday evening (18 September 2018) in two phone calls 30 minutes apart from one another. I was told I could not combine these into one order even though I had the previous shipping number. I was told that I needed to call customer service instead. Customer Service said that a second separate account was created for the third item and they could not refund the shipping of the second order. I do not consider this to be my mistake but yours. I referenced the first order information in my phone call.
Your Customer service department just said that they could not refund the shipping on the second item even though I followed your instructions. I was told I can return the items of the shipment and get a refund. That means I have to pay for shipping to return the item that I wanted. This is not the way customer service is supposed to work. The solutions your staff gave me only result in an unhappy customer. Is that really the message you want to send??

I have attempted to buy numerous items online, my credit card billing address is different than my ship to address. Both addresses are on file with AMEX, I have bought from numerous companies using same addresses. Stauer refuses to ship my items as they say their system will not allow ship to different than bill to addresses. Please update your computer system to 2018 standards.

I ordered my wife a egg pendant from Stauer and actually I had ordered her 2 egg pendants a red one and a blue one. When both egg pendants arrived and she went to put them and she made the sure the chain was connected both times. The chain broke on the both pendants. She had to use another chain from 2 other necklaces in order to wear the Stauer egg pendants. What a shame. Nice pedants and the storage egg was nice for storing it and displaying but the chains that came with the egg pendants were defective. So when my wife called and spoke to customer service they wanted her to send the whole item back at your expense, and she only wanted them to send her 2 gold filled chains to replace the broken ones. Will not be buying from Stauer ever again.

The atomic titanium watch is a beautiful watch. I'm always looking at it as I love how light reflects off its face. It is so light being titanium that I hardly notice that I'm wearing it. A good investment! I've compared the watch to Seiko, and Citizen. The Stauer is a better watch.

I've been going to Stauer for at least 10 years and my experience has been very good. Initially, they had something that looked nice, and I bought some things for my wife. I was impressed by the Helenite, the jewelry that was based on the stones that were fabricated out of material that came from Mount St. Helens' eruption, and the price was right. Stauer has been very generous to offer discounts. I've gotten several watches from them, and mostly jewelry for my wife, my daughter, or her three girls. I've ordered sunglasses from them, too. They had the NASA sunglasses. I'm impressed with the quality and the price that I had to pay for them.

I would like to complement Andy, Ray and Angelina for their excellent customer service. I recently ordered a ring which arrived very tarnished. I called customer service and was immediately sent a new replacement ring even before I had returned the tarnished one. Then the replacement ring was lost in the mail, so I called again. By this time my return of the original ring had been received. So they offered to retrieve it from the return storage location, have it cleaned and re-send to me with 2 day shipping. I've been hooked on the style of the piece of jewelry that I selected from Stauer. I found more than I was looking for. I don't really need any more, but when I get a catalog, I'll look through it and I have a tendency to want to try something new that they've come out with. The most favorite piece that I've gotten from them was the green face watch that has a gold and a silver band on it. It was the latest piece that I ordered from them and bought for myself. You can't go wrong with Stauer.

Purchasing it over the phone was easy. I also bought several more watches, and I was on the phone for 25 minutes with the most recent guy I talked to and we had a good time.

Now I have an issue, not with the product itself, because that has not arrived yet. I bought the Platinum Membership, $99. My initial contact with Stauer was to obtain information on a new order under consideration, and that I had a concern with the outrageous S/H charges. I was told with our Platinum membership, "You will NEVER have to pay S/H charges again, as long as you are a Platinum member," so I purchased the membership.
In the following days I ordered an item. I asked the rep why am I paying $16.95 for S/H, I am a Platinum member, The rep stated that, "I don't know who you spoke with but there is always a S/H charges." I didn't misunderstand anything, the rep misrepresented the facts, whether intentionally or on purpose. I am curious if the call was monitored. The S/H charges from Stauer are a PAD, nothing more just a PAD. I know of no company that charges such exorbitant S/H charges. Of course something is reasonable for S/H charges but almost 30% of the cost of the product is a bit outlandish. It really puts a bitter taste in my mouth now, especially if I was intentionally misled. I believe Stauer needs to make things right.

A particular item made me wanna look into Stauer Jewelry, but purchasing from them was a nightmare. The item I ordered came with the option of an additional item, but the order totally got screwed up. They said the item that I ordered got shipped but it didn't. Then they started shipping stuff but they never shipped the other item. Finally, they shipped the other item but they shipped it to the wrong address. Our order was just a mess, but it eventually got done, although it involved some returns and some waiting The reps were very nice, though, and they're all great people. I like the ease of purchase and the selection of things at Stauer Jewelry. You just call in your order, give your card number, and it's done. A lot of stuff they have is very much one of a kind. You walk through the mall and you're looking at jewelry stores and see the same things over and over. But Stauer has a lot of things that are fairly rare, and you get a short opportunity to pick them up. Their reps are very professional and not pushy at all. They tell me what's available and then I make up my mind. So far, the most precious piece I got from Stauer was a bracelet. If someone sees something they like at Stauer, they should get it because chances are, it's not gonna match anything else that other people are wearing.

I ordered the Stauer ladies watch in black with gold trim and rhinestones. It’s listed at $395.00 in the book. I paid just under $100 as it was on a reduced promotional price. This was in June 2018. Today is Aug 6, 2018 which has been less than 2 months. It is not keeping the correct time. It is 6 minutes behind time. I’m very disappointed. Hopefully, customer service will rectify my problem. They close so early (6pm central time), I have not been able to get home in time to call Stauer before they close. I need a dependable watch as I am a school Principal and do not want to walk around all day toting my cell to have the exact time as I don’t allow students to use their cell phones during class time.

I just purchased a triple watch winder listed at $195. I was provided a discount code which gave me a 25 percent discount. Then you turn around and charge me $24.95 for shipping which means that in reality I saved a total of 0.05 cents. What a blatant ripoff. I’ll never purchase another item from you again. Watch band fell apart soon after using it - The band broke from the watch and Stauer stated I needed to pay $25 more for a warranty to have it fixed. It sits in a drawer drawing dust. Watch looks good, but without a band (which it needs a special type) it is useless and I shouldn't have to pay a warranty for a repair in workmanship.

I placed this order online but was unable to apply the $50 discount code, so I called the 800#. I was told to call back during regular hours which I promptly did. When I reached (so called) customer service I was told that there was "nothing that could be done" to apply the discount and that I should "place orders over the phone". I was then told that it may be too late to cancel the order and if that is the case, I should refuse the package when it arrives. In the meantime, my credit card will be charged and who knows how long it will take to remedy this?!? I have been a customer since 2007, but you may have lost me forever!

My husband saw a jewelry set with a necklace, earring, and bracelet on Stauer Jewelry that he liked for me and called in the order then it came in regular. A representative called to see how we liked the purchase but my husband was at work so my husband called him back. The jewelry set came while I was away on a trip and my husband held on to it until Christmas before he gave it to me. That was the time I looked at it and I told him that I cannot wear it because it has to be gold. He keeps buying me jewelry but it's tarnishing. The set is now sitting in a closet and he ended up buying a gold ring with diamonds on it from another company. While he has a different taste for me, the set is also cheaply made. And I didn't like the design that he bought. It was just not for me but I would recommend Stauer to a friend.

I ordered a free ($25) amethyst necklace. I specifically asked the Stauer representative if the amethyst was natural or lab created. He checked and said it was natural. I received the necklace and it was definitely not natural, so I returned it. The refund policy on "free" items is zero credit which I did not know in advance. Stauer customer service would not acknowledge the problem and would not offer any refund. I am considering this a $25 lesson. I would urge anyone purchasing from Stauer to be careful and hesitant.

I ordered this "18K gold finished sterling silver" Aria necklace to wear to a wedding. I was shocked when it arrived, because the quality and condition of the article was so poor, it was worse than used, cheap, costume jewelry. It had only wisps of "gold" plating remaining over dark, tarnished, oxidized "sterling silver"(that also looked brassy and tarnished). It was constructed of some light, cheap metal that hardly resembled "gold", or "sterling silver". More like tarnished brass, I'd guess. Purchased after seeing an ad in the New York Times. "Quality"? "18K gold"? False advertising, or at least, misrepresentation. Unbelievable.

I ordered a lot of jewelry from Stauer before. Although I liked some of their designs and some of the jewelry are still holding together, I'm disappointed with their quality now. I bought a necklace and the first time I took it out of the box, the clasp that held the heart onto the chain broke. I didn't even get to wear it. Another time, I put on a bracelet that I bought, walked outside and didn't even get as far as the car and it fell off. I thought maybe I just didn't put it on right. But the clasp had actually come off. I told them I was unhappy during their most recent call. They had me talk to a product specialist that has the more expensive jewelry. They got into the thousands of dollars worth of jewelry which I'm sure wouldn't break.

I bought a pendant and a pair of the Eagle eyeglasses from Stauer Jewelry and the young lady was very nice. But the next thing I know, she signed me up for $99 club but I had not asked for that. I noticed it on one of my bills and I was annoyed and I meant to call her. My husband was the one that said he saw something. I didn't really want it but he bought it. But I wasn’t that pleased with the items that they sent. They didn’t seem to polish up the gold. Gold is supposed to polish and it turned like a brass. We tried to polish it but it didn’t. The only other time I purchased something was a quartz and in the picture, it says right on it “not actual size”. But when I got it, I was so disappointed. I wanted to throw it and it was very economical, so I really couldn’t complain that way. But I thought I can do far better at Ross-Simons.
Some of Stauer's bargains are kind of an enticement to get you into getting the catalog and then they send you coupons and you’re inundated with them. Most of the coupons are $50 off towards $150 purchase. I’m not gonna buy an alligator purse with that stuff $450 and they give me a $150 off. I deal with Ross-Simons and I have taken things to a jeweler that I have worn that I purchased from them and the jeweler was quite impressed. He also said things like, “Well, you got a good deal.” And when Stauer gives you a catalog, they give you 25% off of 90% of the items in the catalog. There’s only two pages that say that the prices are so good that there’s no further discount and then of course it ends on days. But, I’m much more pleased with them.
In this day and age, jewelry stores used to be found locally and you can get a watch battery from them. But then, if you want a watch battery, you had to go to Walmart or Target. Then, they put all the jewelry stores like Reeds in these big malls but the malls got very dangerous to go to due to harassment and stuff. I got seven watches right now that I can’t even find a jewelry store that can handle putting batteries in.

The watch I got from Stauer is beyond what I expected for the price, and I would just on product alone highly recommend Stauer. However the measure of a great company doesn't end with quality products that's where it begins. How the company acts in an adverse situation is the real measure of a great company. With all that being said, when I received my watch (faster than I expected) it was defective, so I called customer service and talked to Cynthia, after describing the problem to her she without hesitation sent me out a replacement watch. (I received faster than expected.) "Under promise and over deliver with integrity" is the measure of a great company. Stauer is all that and more. I rate this company a 10+.

I received a beautiful timepiece from a very good customer of your company for Christmas of 2017. I owned it for less than 5 months and the second hand fell off. I proceeded to send said timepiece back for warranty as defined in the watch box itself. Sadly I sent it under my name. It was received at your business on 5/23/18 @ 10:18 am by a person whose last name was **. The paperwork inside has my name and phone number legibly written to whom the watch came from.
I phoned earlier today and spoke with a charming woman, who was very helpful with information as to how to find said timepiece. I phoned back with the information fairly immediately and got some buffoon, male. Who wouldn’t even listen to my information at all. I wish I had written the name down. As to single him out. He knows who he is. I hope to get my timepiece back and tell my family members, who purchase a great deal with your company, about my experience immediately. Not Happy.

To be honest, this watch looks similar to the $8-10 watches in Walmart - a little nicer looking, but much thicker! I never expected the watch to be so thick and heavy. I have been looking at Stauer watches for a while and considering one of your finer watches. I bought this inexpensive watch to see what Stauer was all about. Disappointed with the thickness but for $42 (let's face it, it doesn't cost $13 to mail it), I'll keep it. If I go ahead and buy one of your more expensive watches and don't like it, I will return it immediately.

Received my sunglasses today. From the picture I was expecting one pair to be lighter in shading than the other. Not so. They are both the same dark shade. The package insert speaks about a "proper" Stauer cleaning cloth. There is NO cleaning cloth enclosed! There IS a hard case enclosed. Only problem is that the sunglasses WILL NOT FIT in the case! As a result the case is USELESS! All things considered, I consider my shopping experience with Stauer to be a "one star" rating... and my last!

I purchased a bracelet for $150, and they claimed that my address didn't match my card. The amount was taken out of my account so this confused me. I spoke with my bank, and they confirmed that my current address does indeed match my card. When I spoke to Renee at Stauer customer service, the agent was curt, and they told me that I had to fax in my utility bill. This is silliness. If the agent was nicer perhaps I would have jumped through their hoops. But I don't have a fax machine here, and more importantly, I refuse to give my money to a company that is so unnecessarily rude.

I'm not happy with Stauer Jewelry. I bought a watch from them then I pretty blew face on it and the crystal popped off. I wanted to send it back and have it fixed, but they wouldn't do it. They had me talk to half a dozen different people, and then they decided because I didn’t buy any protection plan, it wasn’t gonna be covered. But I paid $195 for this stinking watch and it fell apart. They want you to buy the extra protection crap and if you don't buy it then they can't do anything for you. They also said that I have to buy a new watch. I told them I'll never buy anything from them again, but they keep sending me those fancy catalogs. Other than that purchase, the other jewelry I bought for the old lady has been okay and she was happy with it. I also bought another watch and it was all right.

I used to go to the doctor's with my husband all the time and we'd always look at magazines. And there would be something in there that brought my husband's attention and he said, "Here, look. You might like this." And it was something from Stauer. I have purchased necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, etc. I also do a lot of my Christmas shopping for my friends through them and I get something for myself quite often too. I love Stauer. In fact, I just received a backordered package today. I used to send checks and get my purchases through the mail and now, I look at the catalogs and if there's something that really catches my eye, I call the number and use my credit card. Their reps have been cooperative and offered me other things that might be a good deal at the time, and protection plan for some of the items that I have. Anyone who sees what I'm wearing tells me they like it and I tell them where to get it.

Tried several times to get some answers finally was told the ring was on back order and I would have to wait 6 months for a replacement. Demanded a refund instead. Their reps were always pleasant and accommodating. Stauer is great and I love their stuff. I had a few pieces that I wasn't very happy with, but they took them back. I have had tracking for only 1 purchase out of the handful I have made. I've used the link to track my package for an exchange and it does not recognize my order number. I have to email to get the information. But please do not let my small hiccups prevent you for understanding how beautiful the products are. My father happened upon an advertisement for the La Curva Necklace and thought it would make a nice Christmas gift for the women in his family. He bought four of them, spending over $400 dollars. This necklace/bracelet has proven to be junk. None of the four of us has been able to wear it as a bracelet, since it does not hold its shape at all. They loosened and fell off our wrists several times the very night he gave them to us. My sister then attempted to wear it as a necklace, but found that it pulled the small hairs on her neck. Also, after wearing it only twice, the gold plating was beginning to wear off. We, of course, have not told my father about any of this, because we don't want him to know he wasted his money.
In addition, he was excited to present us with the $50 "Friends and Family gift card" that each necklace came with and told us to be sure to use it before the expiration date. As another reviewer has noted, however, this is just a scam. It cannot be used with any discounted items and EVERY item is "discounted" on Stauer's website. So, when you add an item to your cart and enter the code for the gift card, you end up at the same "discounted" price that the item was listed for in the first place. I will never purchase from this company and would warn others to stay away.

I was looking into jewelry providers for presents. And I liked Stauer's design and prices. I bought some rings and watches, and the overall purchase process has been easy. Stauer's sales members were very helpful and even if something wasn't exactly correct, they were very willing to fix it. I was happy with the experience. But then in order to be a preferred customer, I had to pay a membership fee, and other places don't charge a membership fee. It turned me off when I had to pay a membership to get a discount.

I have ordered several things from this company over the internet and phone this season. Person to person contact was very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Over the internet, I ordered two items, which I received in good time and condition. When organizing my purchases for crossing the border, I realized I did not a have receipt for those two items. I emailed the company requesting a copy of the order. Within 24 hours the copy was in my possession along with a note thanking me for my patience. It was my mistake in mislaying the receipt. No fault of theirs. I have not in many, many years, received such prompt, courteous customer service. My hat goes off to this company and their very well trained staff. I will do business with them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

I was looking for a birthday present five years ago and I came across Stauer Jewelry's ad on the newspaper. I've been a member with them for four or five years now. I make purchases from them a couple of times a year and they're pretty good. I've never had to return anything. So far, everything that I've ordered has been very good quality stuff.
There's one downside about their service, but it's not really their fault. I work from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and whenever I need to place an order, I usually do this after I get off from work. But their Customer Service closes at 5:00 PM. So, whenever I call after this hour, it's usually independent sales reps that probably work from their home who pick up and they don't seem to have access to the special discounts or if I have a coupon, I can't use it and they can't do anything with it. So I have to wait till I actually speak to somebody from Customer Service to use the coupons, special discounts, or offers that I get from Stauer Jewelry. Other than that, I've never had a bad experience with them and everybody that I've purchased their product for seems to love them. I would recommend Stauer Jewelry.

I like Stauer's specials and the gift certificates that I give out to family members and friends. Also, I like Lisa and the staff that I've worked with. They change from time to time but I found them very good to work with. Their pricing on their postage is too high, though. 19 bucks seems a little much unless they have to insure it. And I can't buy more than one thing. It seems that for each thing that I buy, I have to pay the shipping and handling on it. So I would strongly recommend them to change their shipping and handling. But otherwise, the rest of their pricing is fair. I like their products, too. I've only had to send one back, but they were good to exchange it. They just bombard me with magazines. So, I hate to order too often because then I get two more magazines right behind it.

I have been a Stauer customer on and off for years. Like with all companies you have to be careful and shop smart for deals. I am also a marketer so understand things like loss leaders, memberships and back end consumer costs. Stauer will often loss lead with a set of DiamondAura earrings. Now these are C5, and for the cost for something so brilliant you can't go wrong. The settings are so so, but you won't have a lot invested if you do suffer a loss. You can often get them dirt cheap on sale or a special, but those sales are made to bring you in, and close you one a more expensive and profitable item. Common practice, grocery stores will often sell salad dressing at a loss with hope you will buy expensive meat and produce.
That being said Stauer is one of the better value product (meaning most bang for the buck) I have found. If you are buying something for a gift, make sure you explain what you are giving is a DiamondAura, or a very high quality lab diamond. Stauer is a great company for value items all in all. As a shopper, I will often buy gifts throughout the year for Christmas or birthdays. If you are on Stauer's mailing list WAIT for something to go on sale, which will often be at a loss to them. Then take advantage by planning ahead for that next gift. Also they cover their costs by HUGE shipping costs. Just beware.

Both my husband and I have purchased from Stauer for years. We both have accounts with Stauer. We both love their products, however, customer service policies are lacking good common sense. We returned some earrings from this order because my husband did not realize they also came with the necklace he ordered (and they were also missing a stone). He returned the items on an exchange form and clearly indicated the earrings were to be exchanged for a watch. Even adding his credit card information for the balance to be billed. Well, the earrings became a credit on the account and the exchange never went through.
After more than a month of waiting I called to find out where the watch was and was told I cannot place the order for the exchange because my name is not on the account. I certainly understand that the company wants the account owner to use the credit, however, in this case the return/exchange form, which is in your office, clearly shows the intent. These forms are just like cash and should be handled with care. They should be scanned, a copy kept and added to the original order so there would be no question if someone needs to call customer service. This department is running blind and are currently clueless when assisting a customer who asks about a return. In any respect, the exchange department did not do what was expected and the form cannot be readily found and I have been made to feel like I am stealing my husband's money for a gift for me! We definitely will think twice about ordering again from Stauer. Sorry - very disappointed.

I buy a lot of silver and gold jewelry. Because of this I can do an excellent comparative analysis of the shipping costs of various well known jewelry companies, including: Tiffany, David Yurman, Overstock, Amazon and National Geographic's Novica. Resultantly, I am floored, flabbergasted, annoyed, and shocked by the exorbitant shipping fees Stauer gets. In fact, I have completely quit ordering from the Stauer company. I like their fairly reasonably priced sterling silver jewelry, but this is all undone by their huge shipping costs. It cost over $20 to ship one small ring. That is ridiculous, and again, I have other companies with which to compare these costs.

A few months ago I ordered the Metropolitan watch, shortly thereafter the leather strap buckle broke. I contacted customer service, and they were over the top helpful. I saw this watch advertised in a magazine. It looked fairly decent for the sale price. I would not have paid the MSRP for this watch, it appears to be a good value for the sale price. The retro styling is attractive, the leather strap is of good quality. The watch does have a large enough face for a man's wrist. All in all it was a good value for the price.

Due to the thousands of snail mail solicitations I try to ensure I do not receive them by either reading the Privacy Policy (PP) or calling the seller and making sure they don’t “use” or “sell” my information. Prior to Christmas (12-16-17) I ordered from Stauer and received as advertised. On 3-12-2018 I received a Sweepstakes solicitation through the mail from Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep Systems and another from Publishers Clearing House on 3-15.
If you read their CC it is clear they will not provide your information other than to improve their services. I called Stauer and the customer service manager told me they are entitled to sell anything about me that is available on the Internet, phone book, etc. If true, that's about everything. If ordering from ANYONE make sure you inform them you do not want ANY of your information used or sold to a third party. Otherwise, hundreds of mailings and phone calls. Here's how to tell who's selling your information - Add a suite/box number to your address. Make a list to keep track. Stauer is # S26 for my mailings. I've also reported this to the FTC.

I'm a platinum member at Stauer Jewelry and my experience with them has been positive. At that time my mother was still alive, I had bought a gift for her and then found things that I liked for myself. I like watches and I wish they would make left-handed watches. In addition, their sales reps were friendly. But they didn't last long and I had to get used to a new one every few weeks. But other than that, they were helpful. Since my mother died, I have a couple of friends I buy jewelry for occasionally. And I buy things for myself as well.

The charge for $123.95 was made to my credit card on 12/19/2017. The ring was too big, and he found another one in your catalogue that he preferred, so we ordered the new ring, and returned the first one by mail a few days after Christmas. We will call this the “first ring.” The cost for the second ring was $87.50, and it was billed to my credit card on 02/08/2018. We will call this the “second ring.” I confirmed with one of your customer service representatives that you had indeed received the returned first ring. I was told that a credit would be credited to my credit card promptly. I have still not received a credit to my credit card for the cost of the first ring. Please refund the $123.95 to my credit card immediately. It is now 03/14/2018. This is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a refund.
I tried to have my adult daughter (Josefina) call to discuss this with one of your customer service representatives today, and she received frustrating and poor customer service from your customer service representative. I like Stauer Jewelry's products and I've always had a good experience with the company. I pay for a platinum membership and I get really good prices. I'm in the Bay Area and there's a whole lot of jewelry companies around here but Stauer's prices cannot be beat. That’s where I go when I'm buying for three women friends and I would highly recommend them.
I've been buying from Stauer Jewelry for six years and I've never had to send anything back until now. I purchased a little amethyst necklace and one of the stones had a scratch in it. Companies occasionally make little mistakes with certain little products going by the final check. Sometimes quality control people can have an off day and miss something and that was what happened. They told me to go ahead and send it back and they would replace it for free. If I don’t like something, they will replace it as well. You go to some other places and they will take their product back but then you spend over 30 days. Stauer is one of the best jewelry companies I've ever dealt with and they have treated me well.

Stauer Jewelry has a nice line of stuff that my friends would be satisfied with. But there is one exception, the American flag pin. I like the pin but I didn't like the way you put it on your clothes. On the back, it was like a bobby pin that you have to weave through your jacket, as opposed to just pushing it through and securing it. Otherwise, my customer experience with Stauer has been good. The reps told me what was going on and were very nice and pleasant.

I got a catalog from Stauer a long time ago and I noticed some nice sunglasses that they were selling at buy one get one free, which was a pretty good deal. I've purchased quite a few different sunglasses from them for myself and as gifts. We buy from Stauer over the phone and we like everything we've purchased from them. Last Christmas, we had a knife in mind, the Damascus steel blade nose. It was a good deal except for the $20 shipping and handling, so we ended up not getting it. Then, my wife had a nice bracelet in mind that was $99.99, and they said we couldn't get the discount unless we spend $100. Of course with tax, we'd throw in over $100 but that didn’t matter. She couldn’t get the discount, so she didn’t buy it. That's a sneaky and deceiving way of doing things. Ignore Stauer.

I received order quickly; however Argento Byzantine silver necklace and bracelet set did not have the bright luxurious sliver as pictured on catalog ~ Both were... dull and looked like stainless steel. While waiting for my refund, I notice that I am getting extra "charitable request, insurance and other mail. Stauer sells your mailing address for SURE. They say not email... but mailing address, Staurer sells. They spelled my name wrong when order came in and added my husband's name to my order also... afterward getting extra mail with both my name spelled incorrectly and my husband's name too!!! Enjoy using Stauer catalog because of its many diverse items. For a gift, or for myself... I always find something. The sunglasses at 2 for one price was a huge bargain, and the glasses and frames were very high quality. They even help with glare at night. The first knife I bought from Stauer was the one with the gut hook on it, and I got two of those in the shelf up here. Then they started sending me catalogs every week and they gave me $50 certificates, which I’ve been using too. I purchase over the phone, and the experience has been okay. The reps were all great and they knew exactly what I wanted. All of them were really nice guys. I only had trouble with one knife and it might not have been theirs. The handle wasn’t done right and the metal was terrible so I called them and they sent me another one. They even told me to keep the old one. I’d recommend Stauer Jewelry. I got a neat display case here with knives, and I can bring people here to show them off.

I’ve ordered two watches from this company and I am quite satisfied with them. They keep very accurate time, and the price couldn’t be beat. Two problems however. Their sales staff can be rather pushy in trying to sell you something you don’t want. Also, the leather bands that come with the watches are quite long, so I have to go out and buy another one for twenty plus dollars. They don’t offer smaller bands. Other than that, no complaints.

I have placed 2 orders of long overdue jewelry, watches and women's handbags with Stauer in November, 2017 and was really impressed with the high quality of the merchandise and the professionalism of their customer service representatives. I was extremely busy since then and finally found the time to place long overdue gift orders with Stauer. I spoke with one of your customer representative today (20th Jan). I bought a Graves 33 model in 2008. I need to have the strap replaced and the month and date dials do not work. What a shock when I was told that you DO NOT do repairs and that these models are basically throwaways. Is this a way to run a business and try to increase revenue and sales, I don’t think so. Please provide a response which will address the situation and offer a way forward for resolution. I understand that the warranty is long gone but I also believe that Stauer’s integrity and reputation is at stake here. Time is of the essence… I then received a response from customer center... A screw pin came out of my High Noon watch. I called on 11-27-17 and spoke with Jonathon about sending a new pin to me. He said he would put in the order and have it sent. I waited....no one called me from Stauer with an update, so I called back on 12-12-17 and spoke with Chris. He had to check on the status of the order. He said they have to wait for the same watch be returned by another customer so they could take the pin out of a "used" watch and send it to me. So, I wait again... no call from Stauer giving me an update. So I call back again on 1-3-18 and spoke with Kathy. She said no pin has been sent. She actually did say she would give me a callback with an update. Again, NO call back. So I called again on 1-10-18 and spoke with Kathy again. She instructed me to send the watch back and Stauer will replace it. So I mailed it back that same day (1-10-18).
I called today (1-17-18) and spoke with Kayla. She said they have not received it back yet. Really? After a week it still has not made it from Colorado to Minnesota? Kayla informed me that once they receive my watch, it will take another 4-6 WEEKS to put a new order in for a new watch. So, I will be waiting until March, 2018 before I receive my watch back. This started in November, 2017 and I won't get a watch back until March, 2018? This is terrible customer service. I am not sure if I will ever buy another watch from Stauer with this experience. This is frustrating because I love the watches I do have from Stauer. Can someone in management call me and explain why this will take so long?

Total fake Damascus knife, scabbard does not work for knife and is a total failure in design, knife sharpening bevel is terrible and displays the knife is a total fake. Damascus engraving is totally fake. $80 with shipping for a describe $180 value is totally fake. Knife is worth about $20.

This is the second time I have ordered from Stauer, and both with negative results. Customer service personnel was rude, and very not informative. Offered no assistance. I had to call Yodel myself to find out that they cannot find the order, so it was cancelled. Then on this order, we was never informed that the watch was no longer available. They was prepaid, and only when I called from not receiving the watch did I find this out. Will never order from them again.

The Stauer jewelry I saw in a magazine ad was an interesting piece and its price seemed reasonable. I looked it up, typed in the code and it came right up. I bought it as a gift. It was an Italian piece of gold without jewels in it. It was intertwined and it got thick towards the base at the neck and then thinner at the top. I had a fine purchasing experience. It was very quick and showed up within a week. It was an add-on and it went exactly the way I like it to go on that type of shop. It was an impulse buy but I was happy.

My late, GREAT father used to say that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten and that is true but for one exception and that's Stauer which I literally stumbled across last month ordering a 200.00 watch for 30.00 and getting a catalog for 60.00 off 100.00 purchase which I used immediately purchasing the unique looking 1930 with a mostly solid brushed alum face and was offered the Platinum membership for 100.00 allowing 30% of that order along with 60.00 off the marked down from 300.00 to 100.00 watch, which I accepted readily. They, just about gave me platinum status and what a way to make a great 1st & 2nd impression.
Then I received my 1st watch and it didn't work. Called CS and they immediately handled it so I shipped it back and received my Platinum membership goodies and for the 100.00 price of which I almost paid 20.00 for, I received 4x50.00 coupons off ANY price for myself and 4x50.00 coupons to give away which I did almost immediately. Being in the holiday spirit I guess was Stauer because when my 1930 arrived, she had two more 50.00 giveaway coupons in the impressive package and those two were almost immediately dispatched as well and when I called to see where my first watch was and intended to use one of my 50.00 coupons for some sunglasses at the same time, I was told that since my watch was delayed, they were going to give me the shades which I told her was unnecessary but insistent she was to give Platinum members Platinum treatment so who am I to argue?
When the watch did arrive working this time, it too had 2x50.00 giveaway cards and I was blown away. I had already given away 400.00 in giveaway coupons and hadn't spent the 1st one of mine. I must say that it is refreshing to deal with a company that isn't out to stroke me at every opportunity like some "utility" companies who inflate your bill each month to see who is paying attention and 75-80% of customers routinely pull out their checkbooks and write away without even looking. Of those people? All are being legally extorted and of the ones like me who look at every number? "Oh. We're sorry, we will fix it and it won't happen again." Until it does but how many people do they rip off and get away with it month after month and year after year? Can you say mass class action?
I don't think I'm going to have to worry too much about getting that type of shakedown with Stauer because, oddly enough, the shades I ordered that were given to me weren't comfortable and when I asked if I could switch them out, the clairvoyant young lady said they would ship out the very glasses I was going to order anyway which are The STIG glasses x2 pairs to replace the ones I sent back. I also bought two Copper Flyboy shades for 12.50 each and they're perfect UV protection and I drive to pay my bills. What else? Not sure yet but you can bet that whatever feedback I can give both + or - will be put here though from what I can tell so far, I'm probably going to be a Platinum member as long as I live and they stay in business.

I would urge you to find the model Stauer uses and follow it to the letter and you're sure to succeed. I am not a paid endorser of this or any other company and if they piss me off I'll write that up/out too (but maybe long winded HA!)! LolOWell. If Stauer sold GROCERIES? As a Platinum member? I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Seriously.

I’ve gotten a lot of gifts from my husband that came from Stauer Jewelry. And I’ve always been very pleased with them. With Stauer, you know what you’re getting from them. The DiamondAura are lab diamonds, but they’re beautiful. And the prices are very good. I bought a lot of things for myself. I ordered over the internet, which was too easy that it was dangerous. I also bought gifts. And there was a tanzanite bracelet I had to send back because the clasp had a little piece missing from it. It’s like one of the safety features, and I haven’t received a replacement yet. But they said it would be two to four weeks, which is really fast for an exchange. And they’re very reliable, too.

Being now retired military, I have through the years had everything from military issue watches to the high end Japanese and even Swiss movement watches. My favorite as far as durability, accuracy and reliability was a Stauer watch which as I recall I got for Christmas in 2006. Well this past Summer doing some mild whitewater kayaking, my band broke and the watch was lost (it is probably still ticking somewhere).
I never had an issue with the watch and did have it cleaned a couple years ago after the crystal cracked while indoor skydiving. I had seen an ad for the Blue Stone Cold Fox at a real steal of a price and put out a few hints. UNFORTUNATELY my family thought it was a joke about a female wrestler versus the male wrestler with a similar name and bought me a Japanese made watch. I had seen a lot of reviews (some which I felt were unfair since the authors admitted they hadn't even contacted Stauer Customer Service) and I just wanted to add my own positive experience with the company and watch line.

I ordered a necklace from them on December 4th. On the first page, it showed the grand total as $62, but after I clicked submit, the order changed to $220. A pain in the butt, but I did call them the following day and they updated the order to reflect the original dollar amount. The lady on the phone was really nice and she said that my item was on backorder and asked if that is still ok and I said it's fine. Anyways, I checked the order a couple times and it would still say "backorder". The lady on the phone suggested only a couple days maximum on the backorder, but this ended up not to be the case. I finally checked the order again today on December 19th and the order was cancelled! But they NEVER bothered to tell me that they were cancelling the order!!
I'm going back to Canada in two days for the holidays (I am an expat in USA) and now I have to scramble tonight to figure out a last minute gift for my mom for Christmas before I travel back home! What a pain!! I would never order from them again for the sheer purpose that they inconvenienced me twice while trying to order a product from them. I wish I knew they were cancelling my order a lot sooner so I wouldn't feel so rushed today with my situation. Guess it's time for me to brace the crowds at the mall tonight to find something last minute for mom. :(

The first pieces my husband bought me was a Helenite necklace and earring set. At first I was delighted with it but after a couple of wearings the gold finish began to wear off. This morning I decided to wear a Pink Champagne set that I had only worn twice before and I noticed that the finish was worn off the earring backs and the clasp on the necklace. I have quite a few Stauer pieces and I'm happy with all the silver ones but I wouldn't recommend anything with a gold finish.

Ordered product on December 4, 2017 with a delivery date of December 12, 2017. Currently have not received the item. The primary delivery method was UPS, Stauer switched to USPS mid delivery for unknown reason. No explanation was provided for the switch or the delay.

I have purchased a number of watches from Stauer over the past ten years. My last was a blue faced diver's watch which has become my favorite of all! Prior to this purchase my daily wear watch was my long loved Rolex Submariner. I bought the diver's watch for the days I would be doing lots of "hands on" work with tools (I am a general contractor) and didn't want to risk damaging the Rolex. After a few days with the Stauer dive watch the Rolex was retired. My new Stauer watch keeps perfect time, has the same weighty quality feel, and similar high visibility that I have come to expect from a quality product. The ONLY thing that could make this watch better would be to add tritium markers. Were that to be done by Stauer this watch would be the finest addition to any man's collection he could have! Wonderful products, outstanding prices, and quality that is some of the best I have ever experienced! Thank you Stauer.

I ordered a ring from this Company and was pressured into taking a membership which would cover the cost for my purchase $108.95. In fact, it did not cover because the ring which has a small defect and was seen in Stein Mart for $19.99 is not anywhere near what the Company values the merchandise at. The same ring was reduced a few days later for substantially less. I called the Company to try to work out something which would replace the item for something without a defect and something I would like.
The customer service rep told to read the instructions for return and I was responsible for the cost to ship back and would not be eligible for the original shipping cost. I did not want this membership and since this sign up I receive at least 6 email messages a day. This Company does not stand behind their products, are way too aggressive in their sales techniques and are impossible to deal with once they have your money. I would never order from this Company and will be making sure that people are aware of how this Company operates.

There have been so many different things over the years that I've bought from Stauer Jewelry and I've been satisfied. It's always fun to look and see what they've got. They send out these old pamphlets and other things that contain new products and some of the old products. I know one or two watches that don't run well but the latest watch I got seems to be doing quite well. It keeps time and it's good-looking. They're advertising well and I would continue to buy things that I like in the future.
They have good high-quality products but the quality of some is low. The ads are great but large stones like rubies and emeralds aren't. It's silly to sell a rock in necklaces. I know enough of stones that they're not very good stones. They're easily very opaque, which cheapens some of the products that they sell. Also, yesterday I received a package from Trident but I didn't order it. The only watch I ordered was the one I got from Stauer. Apparently, they had my charge card number which they got from Stauer. It bothered me that my credit card number was used by Trident to charge this watch, and I intend to contact customer service about this.

I saw an ad in the papers for one of Stauer Jewelry’s products. I talked with them and saw their products online, and they looked very good. I've also read many of the reviews and satisfied customers, and that helped to make a decision. I spoke with a representative there and they stood behind their products. I tried it and I'm very impressed with the watch. I also purchased a pair of Flyboy Sunglasses. Now I'm looking to purchase more, like binoculars and some jewelry for my wife, and maybe a couple of other things in time for Christmas. Purchasing was very easy and quick, and the reps were informative. They informed me of discounts that I wasn't aware of and of the warranty.
However, I'm going to have to hand the watch in because something happened to the crystal of the watch I ordered and it just happened yesterday. I have a warranty on it for repair or replacement so I have to call them. I'm leaving for the holidays tomorrow and I wanted to take the watch with me and show it to people. But too bad, the crystal has a little light crack in it. I'll get to them when I get back from my return from my trip to replace it and have to mail it back. I'm glad the rep informed me of the warranty because now, it's covered. Had I not known that, it would have been terrible. He was very friendly and made the experience very smooth. He even gave me his name and line extension.

Received 2 fifty dollar, and one sixty dollar coupons in the mail last week. Sounds great right? HAH! They can't be use with any of the discounted prices on your merchandise, so you either pay the discount price, or deduct 50/60 dollar coupon from the full original price. Just another marketing ploy to scam customers, (and I'm supposedly a "platinum" customer}, into buying whatever at your set price. Your "discounts" are phony, and your "coupons"? are just a shill to have us get on you site and look. Shoddy, very shoddy!! Have you no shame?!!

Stauer has good products. Their prices are reasonable. However, like other companies they advertise 'free' products to the consumer with the caveat that you have to pay for shipping and handling, etc., which can run from $20 and up. To me free is FREE. NO costs whatsoever.

I ordered a black pearl ring from Stauer Jewelry. It’s from Jerusalem and it’s supposed to be black, but it doesn’t look like quite black. I’ve been looking at it several times at several catalogs for a long time and I like it, so I bit the bullet and ordered it. They said it was going to take a while before it comes because there was such a demand for it, but I ended up getting it much sooner than they thought, which was nice. I love the ring and it was worth my purchase. The process went totally smooth and everything went well. It was a good experience and I would do it again.
