    Just renewed it a year ago, so I haven't had bye aligns with Sate Farm, had 0 problem getting my insurance with State Farm. Previously had insurance with Nationwide and decided to switch for a lower premium with more insurance at a lower price. Intend to shop around every year for cheaper insurance.

    My rep for the insurance company is always pleasant and in a good mood. I have not made a claim in fifteen to twenty years so I can't say if they have or not been helpful to paying for damages. I can only say that I pay my bill get the papers to prove I have insurance then do my registration. When I purchased my new car they were helpful to email all the info to my loan officer to meet all the requirements of my loan. This is a service that I have but I never really use. Hope this answers the question.

    I was recently in an accident (not my fault - was hit in a parking lot) and when I contacted my insurance company they were able to start the claim process immediately, setting up the rental car and autobody shop. I even got a call back from my agent after everything was fixed. It was a great experience besides of course the accident and paying a deductible.

    The customer service is very helpful, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I've been able to make policy changes over the phone in off hours. I've had no issues, and when I did have a claim, I felt they really cared about the outcome for me.

    I meet with my agent every year to make sure all policies are up to date. He takes action when I send an email, but doesn't email me back, which is off-putting, but I am generally satisfied. My rates are great.

    The staff is friendly, helpful and answers any questions you may have. The only car insurance I ever had or would consider getting. The auto insurance rates are reasonable and office is close by to be able to go in person with payment or if I have any questions about my coverage.

    This company has the lowest rates I've found for someone my age (26). Everyone is very helpful when I've had to call. I've been with them for at least the last 5 years because of the good prices and they even offer discounts if you take a defensive drivers class and can offer you a discount code to take it online.

    I have been a customer of State Farm for greater than 20 years. I have always found them to be very helpful, pleasant, and easy to do business with. Besides having our automobiles insured with them, we also have an installment loan through them because the interest rates they offer are very competitive. The State Farm website is easy to use as well, and malign online payments is a breeze.

    Our insurance company has always been great. Anytime we ever need anything they are just a phone call away. They return our calls quickly and are very helpful. Our agent calls us a few times a year just to check up on us and see if there is anything else he can help us with. Our rates are very competitive, most people we know pay much more than we do. I have never once thought about looking for another company. We have had a couple of claims in the last few years and they took care of them hassle free.

    Good service and discounts offered for other ins products, home ins and general liability ins. Fast response on accident issue and they paid the costs within a week. Also they negotiated the terms of settlement with the other driver's ins. This allowed me to replace the car within two weeks.

    We have towing included on our insurance, and they always work with us and make sure the towing company has gotten a hold of us, and always make sure they get to us quickly. Every time I call they are always very nice and respectful. They always put us first when talking to them. They work with us on trying to find the best, cheapest insurance on our house and cars.

    I just recently insured my new car with State Farm. The process was very easy and the staff members were all super helpful and friendly. Due to other family policies, we were able to stack up a large number of discounts so I'm not paying too much to insure a brand new car. I love the policy we were able to set up and that I am able to make monthly payments. We also set up automatic payments so it's one less thing for me to worry about, which is great!!

    We deal primarily with an agent and it is very easy to get answers, renewal, and cost. We go through a review of coverage once a year to make sure we have enough coverage and that we have not overlooked anything.     Was very pleased with my auto insurance with customer service to working with me when or if there was an issue resolving an accident/no fault accident. They helped with monthly rates when I had financial troubles or when credit was bad. They were never rude in any way whatsoever and even now dealing with a situation that involves a lawsuit from another driver and their insurance company which was an incident that took place 8 years ago that was due to icy roads and trouble with the breaks on my truck at the time. My insurance company's attorney took action on the matter very fast and smooth and completely destroyed the other company leaving them with no fault/old case that was completely uncalled for. The lawsuit was dropped and absolutely no fines or any ridiculous rip off situations that took place for no reason.. Very pleased and am going to be using them again as well when I have my new street bike ready for the road too.

    I've only had one issue with them in the 3 years I've had them. They accidentally took my insurance payment out twice but eventually reimbursed me for that. Other than that, I've had no issues and they're a great company.

    I've had State Farm Insurance ever since I've been driving... over 25 years and I've been very pleased. I've had a couple of accidents and received excellent support. They've handled everything for me whether it was my fault or not. My current agent reviewed my coverage to ensure I have the best coverage without items that I don't need. One time, I had the worst agent but the corporate office helped me with my billing issue and found a new agent. I would recommend State Farm.

    Have had a good experience but my insurance, no complaints but I haven't had to do much involving my insurance either. I had one time when I had to call my insurance and they sent out a really crappy "tow" truck. It was a truck with a trailer and the driver was falling asleep as he was driving us so that was not acceptable but everything else has been fine.

    They personally know me, my situation. If I need a tow or a jump start, I call, they come and fix me up, and send the bill to State Farm, no out of pocket, and that is what you can do with State Farm, I don't know any other company that would do that. My dog broke my windshield, got it fixed, didn't even get a bill, and no hassle from them.

    I have used State Farm for a number of years. They have always been very helpful, always answering any question I have or helps me solve problems I can't figure out. When I go in the door they are always smiling and friendly, and when I see them outside the office they are just as friendly as when I am in the office. They do not pass me by on the street like they don't know me. Unfortunately I had an accident and they were even friendly throughout it.

    The folks at State Farm couldn't be nicer or easier to deal with. Whenever I have had an issue such as losing my insurance card they quickly got me a new one with no hassle in just a few days. A while back one of my vehicles was vandalized and they took care of everything. It was no hassle and as simple as could be. If I didn't have State Farm, I would be lost.

    I had to pay $250 a month for my car insurance! It is ridiculous how much a month I had to pay towards my car in order to be "safe". I will never pay that much again through any car insurance company.

    I have been with State Farm for over 20 years. I have never had a bad experience. I needed to file a claim about 12 years ago as I was in an accident that was not my fault. State Farm was completely on my side. My van was totaled in the accident and in the preliminary investigation by one of their agents, they paid my auto loan off completely. Once the case went through the final investigation and it was determined to be the other party's fault, State Farm sent me a check reimbursing my $500 deductible in a very timely manner. I have never had a bad experience. In fact, I purchased a new vehicle 2 days ago and in spite of receiving a lower quote from another insurance company for the same coverage, I refused the offer as I am loyal to State Farm. Jason **, my current agent, has helped answer questions about my policy and given me consistent great advice. His staff is always very friendly and helpful also.

    The State Farm team at Jane Staples's office in Waldorf is very efficient, friendly, professional, and prompt with their responses. I don't always like to speak to representatives over the phone to handle my business due to the convenience of doing things online yourself. However, when I need quick changes made to my account or I need to get some general information on additional services, the professionals in Jane's office are always helpful, informative, and they follow up really well. You can't say that for all office teams. My usual experience with other businesses is that data entry, records management, and inter-departmental communication is a mess. I just want to say thank you for being reliable! I have been with State Farm for a few years and am looking forward to working with them in the future also.

    I have been with State Farm since college. I now have a young driver at home and my family plans to stay with State Farm. Our agent is a community supporter.     We had a fire back in 2013. They were on the ball and had everything take care of in a timely manner. That includes getting us a place to stay, temporary housing and furniture. State Farm is the #1 insurance company and comes highly recommend.

    State Farm Insurance is by far the worst insurance company to deal with. They were rude and never returned my calls. This was with 2 different adjusters. Even their boss was rude. I was hit by their insured from behind and they tried to say that I shouldn't be in much pain from a low speed impact. Doctors & MRI say otherwise. It's been a nightmare dealing with them and seeing all the bad reviews online, I can see I am not alone...

    They are always willing to help me save a few bucks and are always available for questions and concerns. I have had them for over fifteen years and couldn't be happier. I tried another insurance company when I bought my house only because the house insurance was in their name. It was not a good experience after five and I had one claim. It did not take me too long to drop them and ran back to State Farm.

    Prior to meeting State Farm adjuster, Lucio on 12/09/2015, at Caliber Collision (State Farm approved repair facility), I had obtained an estimate for my vehicle damage from the same body shop, Caliber Collision. State Farm will only authorize around $900, Lucio's estimate, when my estimate shows over $1,600! State Farm refuses to honor that. I may get another estimate (time permitting), but so far, there is over $700 State Farm is refusing to pay.

    I like State Farm! I have had them for years. I have auto and homeowners insurance with them. They are right there when I need them. I have had people wreck and not have insurance too. They did take care of all that for me. No worries on my part. Which that is amazing. When I had a wreck and need my insurance card I just called them and they sent a copy to my email which I thought that was very convenient. Agent is always going over my policy to make sure I have everything I need.

    On November 18, I was in an accident. The other party was at fault. They got tickets and it stated that in the police report. The insurance company denied the claim so I called State Farm which is my company and they stated to me that they will take care of my vehicle under segregation and then go after the other company. NOW today they are talking something different. The whole time we was on the same page. Now they can't help me I found out today. What I pay insurance for when they lie to me? I'm getting the runaround about paper I need to get another car, that other car is total. No one's trying to get the other company to pay. Everyone is changing up now. Very very disappointed by the lies that was told to me. I will be changing insurance company. I need a company that's going to fight for what's right and don't lie. Say what you mean and do what you say.

    My car was hit by a drunk driver. And after sitting in a shop for over four months, I finally picked up my car. I was in it five minutes and it broke down. State Farm left me with the repair bills for the second shop. I had paid premiums for over twenty years to State Farm. The drunk driver also had State Farm. They cared more about the drunk driver than me. Unbelievable!

    I really don't have much to say. I have been with State Farm for almost 20 years. Never really had a problem with them and their prices are reasonable. They are very easy to talk to about different policies and upgrading or downgrading has never been a problem. I haven't had an accident or a speeding ticket so never had to deal with that.

    I'm a student and my parents have State Farm. I Iove how they have discounts that cater to students and teens.     We switched to State Farm about a year ago, after our previous insurance company doubled our rates. We had an accident with a rental car in Florida last year. A semi-/truck ahead of us lost tire tread. It was a dark night, and we didn't see the tread in time to swerve out of the way. It damaged the front end of the car; we knew we couldn't go on with it. So we had to take it back to the rental company. Our insurances paid for the accident but then doubled our rates. We shopped around and ended up in a State Farm office. We told them everything, they gave us a quote, and we switched.

    Have had State Farm, with the same agency, since 1978. Possibly could get lower rates but I hate change and they've always been there for me. Two of my 3 sons also have their insurance with the same agency. (Third son doesn't have a license yet.)

    I purchased State Farm Insurance for the great price they gave me for my two cars. I have been with State Farm for two years, and 60 days ago I received a letter stating I will be drop and they will not renew my car insurance policy. Wow. Never had that happen to me for all the years I have been driving. I called my agent and was told because my 25 year old son who has a policy with them, for his own car, had too many accidents, and lives in my home that they had an internal policy stating we will no longer be insured with State Farm. I asked why of course, and they said he might drive my cars.

    Now I have a policy in my home with my 5 children who all don't live in my home only my one son whom they said had too many accidents that they will never drive our cars and they need to have their own car and insurance. I explained that to State Farm. It did not matter and due to my son living in my home my wife and I will no longer be able to purchase insurance with State Farm. I received two great quotes today from A-rated companies and they will get my business. State Farm Insurance will never see my business again, even if they are the last company on earth. Stay far from this company as they don't operate in common sense.

    I am satisfied with State Farm. I was in a minor accident while I was leaving a parking lot. Someone had backed into my car while they were coming out of a parking space and hit the right side of the rear bumper of my car, crushing the tail light and causing some minor damage. Thankfully, no one was hurt. State Farm arrived quickly to assess the damage, and I received compensation for repairs within a couple of days with a low deductible. It was a good thing that the other driver had State Farm as well.

    We just recently switched from State Farm to Indiana Farmers Insurance because we were dissatisfied with State Farm. They'd give us a quote and we'd pay it and then we would get another bill for another amount that they forgot to add to the first quote and we'd have to pay that too. This happened several times and no one could tell us why the amounts kept changing. When it came time for us to renew, we had removed one vehicle from our policy, but our policy had doubled in price. Rather than try to figure out what was going on, we decided to switch to a company who could serve us better.

    State Farm is just like they advertise! They are always there 24/7. If I ever need advice or help I just give them a call & they answer the phone knowing it's me. One time I was in an accident & of course it was the other person's fault. I filed a claim with the other driver's insurance (not State Farm) but the claims people still called to check on me & the process to make sure everything is going well.     My son was to be taken off my car when he turned 18. Never was, a some tickets which was paid. Drive with a suspended license. I'm the policy holder, never was informed. I had one ticket in 30 years, no accidents, my fault or otherwise, but was dropped. And the only reason that make sense is I bought a new car. If that wasn't the reason, why wasn't I dropped 5 years ago? I went to Geico, they know all this info and my insurance is a $100 cheaper. So I will be blogging until I die to try and get people to know what can happen to them and go with Geico. THEY ARE CHEAPER.

    I have used the company for twenty years. I have never had a problem with claims. I have never had a problem with billing.     I have had State Farm for almost 11 years now and I have had nothing but great things to say about them. I just recently moved from Texas to Georgia and it was the easiest thing ever to transfer over my insurance. I also recently got married and added my husband to my policy and it couldn't have been any easier. We also recently added renters insurance to our policy. It was great to be able to bundle everything together and be able to set up when I want everything paid. The best part about my insurance is the road side assistance which we have use several times. I've only had one accident where my car was damaged and the insurance agent was very helpful and I got my car fixed in a very timely manner and I had a rental car in the time that it takes to get it fixed.     I was in an accident with a driver who has State Farm (accident was his fault) December 10th 2014. I was injured with a broken shoulder. Today's date December 13th 2015 not one dime has went to paying my medical bills or my missed time from work. Everyone of my bills are now with collection agencies. I can't get anyone from State Farm to call me back. I wanted to resolve this without hiring a lawyer but looks like I have no choice. I am also going to file a complaint with the Department of Insurance. If State Farm was my neighbor, I'd knock them out.

    I have auto/home combined. I have never had a home claim, but a few years ago I had a squirrel eat a rubber like hose under my car. Sadly, it was permanently hooked to my gas tank. The whole, expensive combo needed to be replaced! I had the help of a local agent, which was very important, as there were several problems at the company level, and without my local agent's good help, it could have been a big mess. But all was resolved well and I bought an electric flashing light buzzer combo to keep by my car and there has been no more trouble.

    Our State Farm agent contacts us to go over our policies whenever she thinks there is need for review. We've gone in and reviewed our policies and all our questions have been answered clearly, sometimes resulting in additional insurance, sometimes resulting in cutting back. We have both our home and car insured with State Farm, which gives us a discount. We've had a device added to our car that allows the insurance company to know how we start, stop, if we break the speed limit and so on. This has also given us a discount, as well as good driver discounts. They always answer the phone promptly and we're happy with their services.

    I'm a Pennsylvania resident and was with AIG, paying $1888 per year. Then I called around and was quoted these rates: $1688 for AllState and $1086 for State Farm. Obviously I immediately signed up with State Farm, and they even have an office right across the street from where I work. Savings: $802 a year. I have to admit, I had no idea how dramatic the difference would be.

    State Farm is the only insurance company I have ever used for my home and auto insurance. I really like my agent who had been very understanding when I was just starting work and sometimes did not have enough money to pay my bill on time. They have always paid very quickly when there was an accident or fire. Recently, I filed a claim to water damage. There was a leak that I was not aware of and the insurance policy states if it's continuous they would not pay. Well, I had no idea it was continuous. When the water appeared, I called the plumber, but the damage was already done. So I am in dispute with them over this matter. The verbiage explaining the policy, is verbiage I have never seen before in my policy.

    They took great care of my mother in the past. I rarely get into accidents or have tickets. My reward is an unbeatable monthly rate. I've tried. No one can match $106/ mo. If you are looking to be rewarded for good driving behavior with a company that is around to last, then look no further than State Farm. Again, I am waiting for a company that can beat $106/ mo. I currently drive a car that favors the insurance plan too. With a 60 month financed car, I am able to get a full coverage plan with this rate. Once I pay off the car completely and can downgrade my plan, I can only speculate how much lower they can offer for the inelastic demand of car insurance.

I had a good experience earlier this year with the insurance company after a car accident which I didn't cause. I got on the phone with my agent with no wait time. She was so quick and even made suggestions of what plans would work best as my driving needs changed. I was able to receive good student discounts which really cut my bill down. This was essential for college budgeting. State Farm is everything my family and I need in car insurance. I will continue to use them even when I have kids of my own that will be buying their first cars.

    I took up an auto (4 cars) and home coverage policies with State Farm 5 months ago via one of their agents. The sales rep at their agent's office were superb. However, the finance department frustrated me during the 5 months badly! Premiums changed almost every month, erroneous bills were posted on my account more than once, I was charged for policy change that I never initiated. Worse, despite me declaring every issue with every car and its driver, the underwriter (whoever it is!) kept altering my policies and charging me extra $50 for every change! My 5th month's premium rose by 33% without any notice or explicit explanations! I terminated all my policies. This finance department/underwriter is very erratic and extremely disorganized!

    The State Farm agent was very professional and personable. We handled the whole transaction over the telephone and he gave me a very good deal with car insurance and renter's insurance combined.     I have been a customer ever since 1963, except when I was overseas for 6 years in the 1970s. We had a wind storm this summer and the neighbour's tree crushed my car. I was invited to make a claim. I was notified that my deductible, $500, would not be awarded to me. Also the neighbour's insurance company denied the claim. I was told by State Farm "There was no proof". I was invited to hire my own lawyer if I wanted to. I talked it over with my agent and he said he would see what could be done in my individual case since I have been a loyal customer for at least 50 years.

    I received an email from my agent to come in talk and also see if I could get larger discounts. So I returned the email saying I wanted a appointment on Friday at 11 am. I heard nothing back and so I assumed that it was set. I arrived at 10:45 and I was told the Agent is not there that Friday. But someone else would be along in a few minutes to discuss my issues. I waited 20 minutes and left. State Farm is a business and I am a customer and this is not the way to treat a customer. I am going to cancel and select another insurance company.

    State Farm has been an excellent agency for me. They provided coverage equal to my previous insurance company for nearly half the price. They have benefits like roadside coverage, personal contact with an agent who is familiar with my account, and recommendations for other insurance needs. I have now switched all of my insurance needs to State Farm and receive a bundle discount. They have other discounts for good students (important in family with a teen driver), safe driving discounts, etc. I highly recommend State Farm for your insurance needs.

    I was content with my auto insurance, until I hit someone rear end and it went super high after I left a scratch on the other person's car. Was on the phone with them for two hours and had to do paperwork for the claim. After a lot negotiating they lowered my payment back to normal.

    I was clueless when it came time to handle a car accident, that wasn't my fault. I called and talked to my local office multiple times. They explained everything I needed to do and even gave me advice on what to say and what not to say to the other person's insurance. I was so confused and stressed, but the nice ladies at my local office calmed my nerves and explained everything I needed to know. It's so nice to know that they are there if and when I need them! Even if it's to help out with a claim to another company.

    I have never had an issue with State Farm. I have not had an accident and had to deal with their quotes so I can't really give my opinion on that aspect of it. I do think they are a bit pricey. I pay 152 dollars a month for one vehicle. It is nice if you lock your keys in your car they will pay for the people to open you up.

    I love this insurance. A few years ago I totaled my mom's car and it was under State Farm. They were great to deal with. They held my hand through everything. They were so understanding and helpful even though they were my mom's insurance company. They paid everything that was charged to them in a timely manner. They took care of everything and I had very little that I had to do myself. They really cared about me and what I was going through. They were so great that I got my next policy through them and I'm still a very satisfied customer today!

    State Farm is a good insurance company, except the fact that some of the insurance representatives do not know how to answer their phone. We have had several problems with this. We are going through a case right now and we can never get a hold of our insurance agent. We hope to find a new insurance company in the future because we want someone that will be able to benefit and help us get through our car accident case. State Farm is also very expensive and I know of other insurance companies that are much cheer and will actually answer your phone calls and help you with your case.

    State Farm is a good company. They usually make everything that happens with an accident go smooth and their roadside assistance is good too. In the middle of the night I hit a bad pothole and broke 2 tires. All I had to do is contact State Farm & tell them where I was. The two truck came fast & actually drove my car all the way to my house instead of the nearest auto mechanic, which is what most companies will do. I also received a check covering all the tow cost.

    Everyone in my family has always used State Farm. When my Dad was hit by another driver, State Farm stayed in constant contact with us about the incident and to make sure we were cared for and satisfied. They made sure he got a rental for as long as he needed for his car to be repaired. Our agent even sends us "Happy Birthday" letters. It doesn't seem important but the extra little touches help us know State Farm cares about their customers.

    I was either hold or transferred for an hour now. They want me to drive to some shop that that doesn't have an opening for 6 days. So that means I can't fix my car until then. This has been the worst insurance claim I have ever done on anything. Falcon Insurance, a company that no one has heard of, had an adjuster at my work the next day. After all this I will be seriously looking for a new insurance company.

    I have been with State Farm insurance for over 10 years. Whenever I need to talk to an agent, I have been greeted courteously and had my questions have been answered. After I was hit by Sheetrock which fell off of a truck on the freeway, they not only repaired my car, but also got my deductible back from the owner of the truck. They were prompt to make an appointment for me with the claims adjuster and fair with the amount of money they gave me to repair my car.

    The only problem I've had with them is that their claims process is long and tedious. Almost nothing is covered. We've had the roof be damaged and it was questioned like they didn't believe me. I had someone hit my bar and they've been no help with that process at all. On the good news side the agent is almost always available. He does return phone calls quickly. They also gave me an auto loan when no one else would. However they've also tried to get me to purchase additional policies we can't really afford.

    I have been a customer of State Farm for 12 years. I have several policies, totaling about $500.00 per month to this company. I am friends with my local agent. He has always told me "I'll take care of you if anything ever happens" I believed him (and still do). I recently had to file a claim. Car was broke into, window broke out, and all of my Fly Fishing equipment was stolen, my agent is being very helpful, but the claims department is treating me like a criminal. They transfer me to different people, refuse to return my phone calls, and basically act as if they don't care. I'm switching companies. Farm Bureau!!! Remember the commercial ad "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there"? Yes, they are, every month to collect your policy premiums and that's it!

    After being an accident that is no fault of our own, trying out first attempt to file a claim through our insurance company, the customer service operator failed to capture any of the details and gave us a fake claim number. The appointment that was made for the estimator gave us to look at the car for repairs was at a "select service" shop and we were given a wrong date. Now going on day two without a car and our local agent has told us that it's best if we just move on to a different company. Nice. What a lot of help. If you are looking for good, accurate, helpful service don't go to State Farm. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and once this claim is taken care I will look for a new insurance provider. Maybe there is one out there that appreciates their customers and is isn't just looking for taking them on a ride.

    I have been on my State Farm auto insurance plan for around 8 years, ever since I first started driving. I've never had a problem with them to date. Auto insurance has some of the highest rates here in Louisiana and I find that they offer a fair and reasonable rate that fits my needs. I've heard friends and family speak about their insurance rates with other companies and State Farm always seems to be the most fair.     I have been a customer of State Farm since I was fifteen years old and I am now thirty-two. They are wonderful and make my life so much easier. I currently have auto insurance, life insurance, and also homeowner's insurance through them. Having all of my accounts together makes my life easier and they have really good rates. I recently had an auto claim, my first ever fender bender and to fix the other person's car as well as mine was painless. They made everything so easy in a situation that was quite stressful.
