The price beat out most competitors. We shopped around for a while and Liberty Mutual really stuck out price wise and quality wise. Our purchasing process for car insurance went really well. It was easy to set everything up and figure out the payment. Our agent was very courteous and knowledgeable. The only thing I would change is less wait time to talk to a representative. But overall my spouse and I really like the company. I would recommend this insurance to family and friends because of our great experience.

Purchasing insurance through Liberty Mutual was very easy and the customer service is great! There was someone there throughout the entire time willing to help me with any questions or concerns I had. I was very happy with them and their willingness to help me with anything that I needed even if that meant repeating something that was previously explained because I didn't understand it or confused. I like the cost/efficiency of the insurance itself but wish that it was a bit cheaper/easier to afford.

I have my payments automatically withdrawn from my account every month and Liberty Mutual allowed me to pick the best date for my payments. I like Liberty Mutual inductance and I enjoy the level of customer service that I received from the company. They're the best insurance company I've ever had business with and I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Liberty Mutual has good response time on claims and their replacement coverage is good for the most part. They also have friendly and usually helpful staff. However, the price is high and the towing and roadside is not that good. I have had better towing roadside with other companies. Also, the adjusters are overworked. They matched the price at first then slowly raised the price and no moving violations or accidents at the time.

On May 12th 2018 my car was severely damaged by a truck insured by Liberty Mutual rendering it unusable and towed to Ralph & Sons Auto Repair here in White Plains, NY. Although I was told on 5/16th that I would be contacted within 24-48 hrs I had to find your office number and called you 5 days later on 5/21 and only then did I receive acknowledgment of the claim against Ohio Security Ins. and Liberty Mutual.
Now 15 days later and no adjuster has been dispatched to allow repairs to commence. Received a call 5/25 from adjuster team wanting to know where the car could be seen when Liberty Mutual had been provided the location of the my car. Adjuster promised someone would go out to see the car and never did. Now with the next business day 5/29 it will be 18 days with no action. I see lots of Liberty Mutual Insurance TV ads which suggest they are willing to sell their product but will not provide decent response to claims and services expected.

Liberty Mutual has the lowest price for state minimum coverage, offers good discounts, good communication, easy to transfer from old company, friendly agent, has good reviews, easy auto pay for bills. Very easy to purchase online, easy to get quote, promptly heard from local agent, website easy to navigate. But RightTrack penalizes for accelerating too quickly, but you need to accelerate quickly to get on highways. Also penalized for braking from 8mph to 1mph in 2 seconds. That's ridiculous.

Crooks they are. I canceled my auto insurance because I found a better deal at a Lower price with another company. Well when I canceled it was confirmed by Liberty Mutual that it was canceled. Well the next following month Liberty took out $96.00 from my checking account. As a single mother I have a very tight budget so now my kids and I have to suffer. To my disappointment I received an email expressing Liberty Mutual is refunding me $86.00. They withdrew $96! After I canceled my account!!! And I'm only getting $86. Not right. Totally unethical and unprofessional. Half ** doing a job = Termination. Why are they not doing anything? I called customer service. I emailed and I get nothing. Terrible scum bags, bottom feeders, Low lifer Thieving Crooks they are. They need to be held accountable for ripping off hard working American citizens.

Purchasing was All done online. Very easy. I looked up Progressive, State Farm, and Geico, and Liberty was cheapest. Also less expensive than Allstate. But they charged me more to cover a single vehicle after my divorce. Ridiculous to charge more to cover one car, one driver, than 2 cars and three drivers! I have not had contact with anyone from the company since they got my money as well. Less personal. But I guess that could be a positive thing, too.

I have had a great experience with Liberty Mutual and the coverage that they provide. The multi-vehicle coverage is good for the price they are charging and getting young drivers started with insurance. They have come through every time there has been a problem or accident without questions and no matter who's fault it was. They are quick to check out your claim with no back and forth or negativity. However, I would like to have more say in who I take my vehicle to if there is a problem or accident and still get the same guarantee of the work done even if it is not done by someone in partnership with Liberty Mutual. Also, lower prices is always good for the consumer and would bring in more people for Liberty Mutual services. Other than that, this is great for the consumer especially when you are in a nerve-racking situation. It is good to know that your insurance company will stand by you!

It was easy to get all of our insurance set up quickly and efficiently. My price that I pay every month, it is really cheap compared to what I have paid in the past, also the customer service is awesome. We haven't had a problem because the lady we work with has helped us when needed, she guides me into the right direction to get something taken care of. Very good experience. But they are quick to cancel your policy if you are late or have to make an arrangement for the payment. We were late one time and they cancelled my insurance within 3 days, even though I got a letter stating I had 13 days to get it fixed within the date of the letter so that took some time to get everything back to normal and get it caught up which that can happen with any company, but I didn't know they would cancel so quickly without notifying their customer first.

Liberty Mutual offers multiple discounts that many other companies do not. The agents are always a joy to interact with. They are extremely knowledgeable in the industry, they know what questions to ask and what the customer needs. Therefore, buying a policy from them is not only affordable but easy. The company works fast and efficiently anytime there is a claim. After being a customer for several years I find them to be the best in the industry in customer service bar none. The only thing that could use improvement is the occasional wait time. When you call customer service, many times it is a stressful situation and you need someone right away.

Liberty Mutual has the coverage I want. Purchasing the insurance was simple. My agent did it, I asked questions, he recalculated, I approved. Could be hands off if I wanted it to be. The price is ok and they offer a lot of discounts. They also make it easy to do business with them year after year. But I wish they wouldn't increase their rates so much every year. They increase it by more than 10% every year which is ridiculous.

My overall experience purchasing auto insurance from Liberty Mutual was fairly easy. All I had to do was call and I got a quote immediately, I was able to compare the quote with rates from other insurance companies as well as the benefits they offer. It was easy to make my choice. I like that they're reliable and they have accident forgiveness. They always make sure that they pay you the full value of your car. I feel like I can trust them. I know that I am making a good investment and I do not have to worry about being ripped off or my having the coverage I need in times of crisis. But I would like them to have better bundle deals and I would also like to see better coverage in homeowners insurance and renters insurance.

I was very happy with signing up with Liberty Mutual after my experience with Progressive. The rate was the cheapest for Massachusetts where I live. It would be nice if there was more of a discount for my safe driving record. I would also like it if there was an easier way to combine auto insurance with renter's insurance. I'd like to protect my belongings without having to give detailed information about the apartment building I'm living in. But other than that, purchasing the policy was great and I also appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the customer representative who handled my call and questions. I'm satisfied with Liberty Mutual.

LM is a national company. They have low rates and will give a discount for bundling with your homeowners policy. It is easy to buy if you qualify but tough luck if they don't like your credit rating or your driving record. I miss having an agent with an office in my area though. I didn't like the closed local office and usually have good rates but will periodically price their policies way over market like I am expected to cover their bad underwriting. However claims service has been fast and fair.

Purchasing was somewhat easy, I was able to complete most of it online, without the need to speak with an agent, which is a preferred way for me. The explanation of policies and coverage was decent, I didn't have to ask many follow up questions. I like that it is easy to access my account online, view statements, pay bills. The cost is reasonable considering the coverage. Furthermore, there are a good number of different coverages this company offers to choose from. I had a claim once, and it was handled quickly and professionally.

The process was very easy since I completed everything online and they have always been helpful with the process in helping me chose which is best for me. I like how easy it is to navigate and Reach out to me to make sure everything is going the way I expect it to. Making sure there are no problems with my policy. If someone crashes I would like to know how much I have to pay after my deductible or how much more I'm going to have to pay for my insurance after a car accident. But so far everything has been really great. The automatic payments always come out when they are supposed to.

When we decided to switch insurance companies we had no issues getting a quote and signing up with Liberty Mutual. Buying our policy was as simple as it could be and was all done very quickly. We also like that we have always been able to do all of our business online. We can add or take off cars simply online.

Liberty Mutual at first saved me money! But now they have gone up 300+ dollars citing an increase in medical payments. I have not had any incidents! Homeowner's also went up. No claims! What is up with this?

Don't do business with this company. They were slow in processing claim, paperwork was misplaced, the person who was processing the claim was out of office, the misstated information. Poor value for the amount of money paid.

I really like Liberty's personal service. I can call and talk to an actual person. They are quick to response when I email questions to our agent also. However, I wish it didn't have such a long process to be bonded. The information I have to fill out is quite laborious. I'd like to see this shortened especially when after you've been a customer for a while. But other than that, the purchasing process was great. I send over the information on the vehicles and they process quickly and send me all the documents. It's fairly easy to reach customer service and nowadays that is a huge bonus. I am sticking with Liberty largely because of the customer service.

I really like everything about Liberty Mutual. I called the company. They asked a few questions to see how they could get me the cheapest insurance possible. The whole process took less than twenty minutes. The employees all return phone calls promptly and they've always been prompt to help me when I've needed it. I like the joint policy discounts, prompt services, no hassles when needing repairs even when both cars were hit by lightning causing one car to be totaled and another to need extensive work.

I went to place where they find an insurance company that fits your needs. You just go or call and give the person your information and they do whatever they do and look at multi-insurance companies and then discuss what and which one again best suits you, so overall liked them. I like that they give you % off for owning certain kind of vehicle and they do work with you if you can't afford to pay your bill that month or in full, because some months are better than others and other months are more difficult in the sense of money is concerned. Also they are quick with processing claims, unlike other companies who just say that and take their time processing your claim. And the couple people who I have talked to were nice and I actually got the vibe that they were listening and trying to help, not like just telling you a bunch of ** and just want they think you want them to tell you.
However still with % off, monthly bill was still a bit high because first time being on own policy so wish they would understand that and work with first timers because a lot people do not have money to prepay for 3 or 6 months. I was lucky that my dad helped out and from there. Switching insurance company they could see or know that I had insurance before because I stayed with this company honestly because thought second year would be cheaper monthly, but actually wasn't, was the same and that was with the % off. I'm looking into someone a bit cheaper not because do not like them but because with my boyfriend being out of work for couple months and with it being the holiday have to cut down on some bills.

When I filed a claim for finder binder, the repairs were done in a timely manner and claim was easy to make. However Liberty Mutual claim accident forgiveness but it only applies to some states and additional charge.

My wife and I, both sets of parents and my grown children have been loyal customers with Liberty for Home and Auto. The only break in being a customer was when I moved from Boston to Arizona and changed Auto protection for a few years. My wife was T-Boned by another vehicle. We have been using the same auto body shop for 28 years and had our auto towed to that facility. When I filed the claim I was told that Liberty had a service where my car would have a "lifetime guarantee" for repairs. I declined and felt more comfortable using a facility that I trusted.
It has been a month of no return phone calls from all levels of service - EXCEPT - the agent who handles my accounts. Today in order to facilitate the situation my wife encountered a rude and abusive service agent in Scottsdale Arizona - she basically said that the problems were due to not using a Liberty Mutual repair shop. I'm not sure of the spelling but her name was Michelle **. If she worked for my company I'd kick her butt out of here. Too bad - this used to be a great company that made me proud to be working with a hometown company.

Purchasing my auto insurance through Liberty Mutual was an extraordinarily easy experience. Actually, my sales agent did most of the work for me. I discussed with her what options I had on their plans, the costs for perks they had, and so on and so forth. I was asking a ton and didn't call intending to change yet, making me a prime "oversell" victim. But at no point did I feel pressure to purchase IMMEDIATELY or ANY more than I felt I needed or wanted.
My agent was there to assist me in obtaining it, but without the hard sales pitch you go through with most insurance companies. In addition to that in order to get out of my old insurance policy (because that can be you know dicey for you sometimes & it's uncomfortable to cancel service with anything) because you know they trying keep selling to you and selling to you and selling to you, but Liberty did that for me as well. Free of charge and I did not ask. As usual they offered and gave their time and help.
I do feel the rates that Liberty Mutual has for insurance policies, that contain very little to nothing at all, more "perks" when compared to other companies' policies are unusually high. And they always are on the upper and/or more expensive end of deductibles, and services. However, although I do find that annoying, I believe you get what you pay for. When it comes to EVERYTHING in life and Liberty shows in the services and appreciation where your money is going to.
There are just a ton of things I love about Liberty Mutual. First and foremost being their outstanding customer service. In 4 years there has not been ONE time that I have called them with a question or a concern and haven't spoken to and resolved the issue with a human being. NOT A computer or voicemail service asking me questions or tiny to press numbers. There isn't any of that period. It's person to person customer service and that is the number one reason I stay.

Buying the auto insurance from Liberty Mutual was really easy. I called their 1-800 number and they went over all the incentive that they offer and then I give them my personal info and my daughter's. They give me my price $124 and $94 a month. Then he told me what all it covered and then I gave them my card info and got my policy started.
They are great on the pockets when it comes to our bill and offer all kinds of extras. The employees are really helpful and nice. They gave my daughter who is on my policy roadside assistance and that if I went paperless my monthly payment would be cheaper. They also explained to me all about how they came up with the numbers and I even got a discount cause my daughter's grades in college are high. I just wish they had more locations around me. The closest to me is 30 minutes away in Greensboro. I also wish I could of gotten collision on my daughter's car but they could not to that. And I would love to call and get a live person on phone right away. No recordings. Nevertheless, I love Liberty Mutual.

They are a well known company that is dependable. Purchasing our car insurance was fast and easy, everyone knew about the company and was very helpful getting us the policy that we needed to meet our needs and made sure that it was affordable. The people that work there, like those in the claims department, are friendly. They helped a lot when we were in an accident that wasn't our fault. While the premiums were low when we lived in California, when we moved to Montana our premiums doubled, we had no chargeable accidents or tickets. Car insurance should go on your driving record and how much you drive not on where you live. They also have high rates for new drivers.

The purchasing process was decent, never any real issues. The app was helpful, and always got a response when I had an issue/comment/or concern. They are always available, never had any issues with making changes or contacting my agent. Either by phone or email I was able to talk to someone. The discounts were beneficial. But, there was never any flexibility in pricing. I appreciated the effort in trying but at the end it was never adjusted so it wasn't a match for me to continue.

The company is good and has accident forgiveness and have great customer support. They don't put you on hold and get to you immediately. However they should have faster road side assistance so I don't have to wait on the side of the road. I had to wait in the cold winter one time when my car broke down, for 2 hours! But I like it overall. It's done me well and helped me save money compared to other plans and such. I have saved over 10k in the past 5 years and I'm proud to be a Liberty Mutual customer.

Liberty Mutual is an extremely good company to do business with. The representative was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She was very courteous and knew what I wanted and needed. She tried to see if her company could help me with home insurance. They did not have that service in my area but I was very happy that she took the time to try and help me. She called me as many times as needed without being pushy. Furthermore, I like that they understand my needs and they are reasonably priced. You can also pay your bill online. They even mailed me ID cards with my name and my spouse's name on it. Other companies would not do that. I wish more companies would be like this company. I would recommend this company to anyone who has auto insurance needs. I plan to continue to use them for my car insurance needs.

I purchased Liberty from the same agent from whom I purchased the home renters' insurance. Was a hassle free and quick purchase. It has been a good experience. The features provided at the premium cost make it a good product. Also provides great support and service operations. But does not have a great app so you need to log in to a laptop/desktop to check status of claims; any changes in terms & conditions and to check if the premium due has passed or not.

I specifically liked Liberty's customer service compared with other insurance companies. I liked everything about the company. However, I wish that it would have been easier to negotiate with them when another more affordable offer comes around. It was more expensive than bundling State Farm with my home insurance. I switched because it was cheaper but I would go back to Liberty if anything happened with my current insurance.

Purchasing a policy is a smooth process and easily attainable. You can call their number and acquire a lot of information regarding your potential purchase. Online website is easy to understand as well. You can get quotes in various manners and ways. However, depending on the area you need coverage in. Prices can fluctuate. If your vehicle is damaged while parked and you need a rental car depending upon the duration of how long the rental is needed for they might not foot the bill as promised even when you are not at fault for the impacted damages you may have sustained as well as cost for rental. But I like the fact that they have new car replacement features and medical pay when qualified. They also feature property damage liability. So if you are in an accident that causes damage to private or public property you can get covered for it depending upon the circumstances.

Getting the Liberty insurance was easy. Spoke to agent in person and she found out what we needed, bundled renters and auto to give us the best rates. Overall it was a easy deal. It's also easy to pay with auto withdraw. Rates are decent and better than my last company but auto insurance in General is too expensive. It could be a little less.

Liberty Mutual is very reasonable and helped my fiance and I pick what suited our budget at that time. I like the rates and have had no problems with this insurance company before. However, I have noticed other insurance companies have been cheaper so I have thought about switching to a less expensive company to save money. Nevertheless, Liberty Mutual was very professional and fitting to my needs. I didn't have a crazy bill after I got into an accident that was not my fault and they helped also to figure that out.

Liberty Mutual offers the best pricing at the time- no other company was even close. It was a special offer through my credit union with the purchase of a new or used vehicle. There were no hassles, everything was setup through my credit union as an auto deduction. (EBT) This made it very convenient to budget. But after having one accident, prices skyrocketed. My "new" car should have been totaled as both airbag deployed, extensive damage. There is no "personal" assistance as with my local and current insurance carrier, State Farm Insurance.

It was very easy to set up. It was done it over the phone, and had no issues with my agent, who also was patient and personable. My agent also gave me his cell number if had any issues, so I could get a hold off him directly, and not have to deal with the call center. Also easy to use in app. When a vehicle hit me, my insurance agent handled everything, and in a professional manner. I would still have them if my agent was there, but I will never deal with the customer service again. The customer service through calling them sucked... They act like they do not know what's going on, or they can't read to verify it is me, the call center would not help with the incident, and told me to call my agent to let him handle it.

The coverage for my husband and I is exceptional. We have full coverage for our Chevrolet truck. Getting the insurance was a quick and simple process and receiving their insurance doesn't have very many flaws. We have the opportunity to talk to an actual representative instead of an automated system. That makes our relationship with the company more personal and makes us feel safer with our decisions. But if you call the toll free number then you listen to a lot of ads before getting to the automated system and then the automated system is very time consuming. It would also be better if we could get a lower quoted price. A more convenient location would be preferred too for any reason we would have to travel to such destination.

We were invited to join Liberty Mutual. Then we checked the prices in comparison to our previous insurance company were lower to the same coverage. I like the automatic payment options available to policyholders. But I dislike having my rates increase as my driving has reduced to next to nothing and my vehicles get older and older.

Insurance was purchased through a customer service representative in February of 2016. I was shopping for various types of auto insurance, and Liberty Mutual seemed to best meet my needs. I like that they answer my questions thoroughly and provide good, competitive customer service. They are also very polite when I talk to them. However, insurance in Michigan is so expensive. I would like to see the cost reduced to a more manageable policy.

My overall experience is not great considered the payments keep going up every six months and they have no clue why and they say the premium payments would go down every six months. And they don't remind you when it's due so I have to call or dig out the papers to see. But I like what it covers as far as roadside assistance and it's on call twenty four hours a day, it sometime convenient, then again it's not. It limited to what they will cover and sometimes you have to pay a deductible for someone to bring gas or something else.

Entire process was done online. It was easy and fast. I was able to print all necessary documents and have all questions answered during one session. I have used numerous insurance companies and hands down Liberty Mutual is the best. Easy to get info online, easy to access my documents, and easy to make changes as necessary as well. I would recommend, however, I would make wait times shorter and accessibility to a live agent more timely. Also a live operator as opposed to a computerized system to route calls.

It is very easy to get in contact with my agent, regarding adjustments in coverage when getting new cars or homes, as well as changing the names of those insured. I like the confidence in good coverage for my house, car, and spouse. It gives me peace of mind. Overall cost to have the coverage is the main item I would change if able. It can get so expensive.

Purchasing my insurance policy was super easy. I love how they explained everything and if I didn't understand something they broke it down so I did understand. Liberty Mutual also took the time to talk to my husband and explain the policy to him since we make our financial decisions together. Everyone we talked to have been friendly and helpful. I like that my rate stays the same and that I have automatic withdrawal for my payment. They also have a website where I can look over my policies. When I need a change to my policy I can do it online or call their number. Liberty Mutual has always been great and took care of whatever we needed as far as our policies.

Purchasing my policy was relatively easy. Agent I worked with was great and did everything for me and found me multiple discounts. Rates at the time were great for full coverage. They made everything very easy and they were all very kind. If my specific agent wasn't in it would connect me to someone that was on her team that could help me at any time so I did not have to wait for a callback. Any accident they covered and paid quickly. They made setting up a rental simple and roadside service if needed was always spot on. I used to recommend Liberty to everybody.
I never really had to deal with them for a long time until things started going downhill. One of the major issues and why I ended up leaving, was because when I moved to a new place I called them and switched my address over so that I would get my bills and any important info there. They said it was all set and then I noticed a few different times when they would send me things or say that they did, I wouldn't get them. I had to Change address with them about five times. No exaggeration. They told me it was all set. I asked, "Are you sure? Can you check every place it would be" because I was supposed to get paperwork from them for a claim that never showed up so I knew that they hadn't changed it prior to this. They guaranteed me it was all set.
The agent then put in my card numbers wrong when she renewed my policy which of course declined my payment and come to find out they still have not correctly change my address because I did not get the notification that it was going to be canceled. And I got pulled over. The cop was very nice and told me that my insurance was inactive so when I called them and ask them what address they had for me they in fact did not change my address as I suspected once again and then after that they would not give me another insurance policy unless I paid for it all upfront even though it was their error therefore I left. Very disappointed because I was a customer for many years and have never been late on even one payment.

When I got my auto insurance I chose Liberty Mutual because it was really affordable but at the same time they have a great policy!!! The insurance is good, reliable, effective, strong, and honest. When purchasing my auto insurance my visit was great. Fast and easy to understand and great service with great and nice employees!!!

Overall a good experience with Liberty Mutual. It was very easy to purchase my insurance policy and to renew it each year. I liked the fact that they were affordable and they gave me a very nice customer service experience. I also liked that they had nearby offices in case I needed assistance. However I disliked the fact that they were more expensive than other auto insurance companies serving my area and they charged me extra for being a male. I wish they were not discriminatory towards gender of the customer when purchasing a policy. I am looking to go with a different company next year.

Liberty Mutual has easy quote process, straightforward application process and live agents available if needed. Application was multiple choice very generic. They offer tons of add ons that are not terribly expensive but are nice to have. The feature I like the most about Liberty Mutual is low cost insurance. Especially for the amount of features I have. They have an mobile app that makes viewing your information super easy. My policy includes everything that I asked for. My payment are automatic. But I wished the 1 year newer car replacement option was available for financed vehicles as well as owned vehicles.

I enjoy using the online website to pay bills and get information quickly. The coverage is great, it's useful and it's helpful. They've worked with me when I wasn't able to make a payment which is fantastic because life happens. They care about their customers. However, when calling or setting up a meeting, it's pretty slow to get to work. Liberty Mutual is also decently expensive for me and would be expensive to add anyone else to my insurance. I have a spouse and will eventually want children so this is not a good thing. I'm hoping we can lower the cost eventually. But the price is fair and to be expected. My overall experience with Liberty Mutual has been a positive one. It's reliable and trustworthy.

Claim filing part was prompt and as it should be. But after 5 years with Liberty Mutual could not believe how they treated me in THEIR MISTAKE. Company messed up. Policy I had showed daughter as a driver. After policy issued Liberty Mutual deferred her OFF policy without notice to be. When mistake was caught they then wanted me to pay additional premium for their error. It was ridiculous. They lost a customer.

Liberty Mutual has a small agency in my town and I have had them for over 30 years. Very personal service and I like that I can get all my information online. Also I have auto pay so no worrying each month when it's due. I have always had an insured vehicle since I was 17 yrs old so any used car, I went directly to the agency with my paperwork and transferred my old plates to my next car. Any new or leased car, the dealership only needed their name and number so they could run around and get all the paperwork done and new plates from the DMV. However, my insurance amount should be less than what it is. I have never had an accident that was my fault or got any tickets but it seems like I pay a lot more than I should be.

Liberty Mutual is a very recognized company. We have 3 cars covered under them as well as our home. We receive low premiums and I believe we get more personalized service partially due to the fact that the agent is a former colleague of my husband. The agent is personable, doesn't try to 'oversell' us on policies and is readily available. We have sent several new clients his way. The office is local. However they don't really care for lump sum payments. They always seem to come up quickly and out of nowhere no matter how much you try to be prepared within your budget.

The purchasing process was okay. I'm just going with what was best price and actual people in the customer service that I can reach you speak to as I hate calling the company and speaking to an automated thing and press one for this and two for that I'd rather speak to an individual. The customer service is okay. Very nice people, they have knowledge and understanding of the company and what the policies are. They are able to help without having to be transferred 100 times. But I do not agree that the price is low enough. I feel there are ways to make an insurance policy a lot. I do agree that some insurance companies overcharge for their service when there's absolutely no need for it.

My husband had the policy prior to us combining. He did make sure that all of the state minimum requirements were met. Our insurance is reliable. We also have an agent that we can see in person, as opposed to just over the phone or online. Because of the opportunity of using an agent we also had multiple insurance companies as an option and were given the best choices with the best rates. Our company provides everything we need at the best price around.
However our policy is very basic and could be better and have better deductibles. Since I joined the policy no changes have been made. We would like more from the policy, but the agent seems disinterested since she already did her job. We dislike the fact that because of using an agent we are only made aware of the exact quote for the items chosen. We could add more or less online, but do not know what we should want or what options or bundle discounts are available. We do not want more than we need, but also want the best for us and what we can afford.

Liberty Mutual - Auto is reliable and dependable. Also gives good and fair prices and good customer support with little problems or issues getting them to assist you at all times. However, it is hard to get the right person on the phone to answer questions that are pertinent to your situation. Nevertheless, I had a very good experience with minimal hassle or problems and I would recommend to family or friends any day of the week.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Company is an easy to-deal-with company. Purchasing an auto insurance was easy to do after comparing prices with other companies. I made an easy phone call after receiving email quotes. Information was gathered and the policy was issued with a minimum of muss and fuss. They have reasonable cost and easy monthly payments. Claims can be easily handled over a telephone, too. I currently have an ongoing claim and it was done over the phone. I like that there are no salespeople bother you at home. Telephone calls are answered by a real person and operators handle everything in a professional manner. Almost all interactions have been by phone and are handled quickly and easily. Also, auto payment plan for monthly budgeting makes it easier when you receive funds on a monthly basis.

I'm a valid rental/auto customer for 10+ years. I recently had a sudden family emergency causing my rental homeowners to lapse. Within the 10+ years payments were paid in full and on time! Terrible experience with the two representatives in attempting to reinstate my coverage. In order to reinstate had to pay full annual amount due. I was very disappointed!!! It was financially beneficial for me to do monthly or quarterly installments. Therefore I refuse to do business with them nor would I refer family and friends. For those who go with Liberty Mutual don't let your coverage lapse!

We get our money's worth. They are always on time when we need new cards. Also if we wanted we can do everything online. Prices are going up though and even when I have never used Liberty Mutual... no rewards for being a driver. We can use any company but we chose them and they dont even send a card to say thank you.

Liberty is very convenient and fast due to being able to sign paperwork without visiting the actual office in person... They have decent ads, lots of brochures and very nice staff. The rates were great and I got a great price for full coverage. I dealt with a local agent who seemed to be very knowledgeable. The purchasing process was a very simple and an extremely easy experience. But it would be better if there were more selections or if I could customize my deductibles and roadside assistance was more prominent with a card separately linked to these services.

Liberty Mutual does no drug testing. As a result I pay for coverage of people who smoke ** in Colorado as it is being legalized everywhere. Also without any notification the annual premium is up over 35% in two years.

I strongly recommend Liberty Mutual. They are at my fingertips each time I have to call. Service is immediate!!! Massive rain storm destroyed entire kitchen with leakage and car badly pelted. LM immediately worked on repairing and provided all new kitchen appliances and funds to have car repaired. My friends also are very happy with their services when in need. Also, very open to reevaluate the fees for the policy every year. I have home, auto, and liability policies with them for many years.

When we obtained the policy initially, it was all done online, I don't even know where a physical office is. This made it easy when we purchased our home and vehicle, but I would like to have more personal touches and interaction. Every renewal the price goes up and we have to renegotiate. My emails are not quickly returned and also, we are still waiting for reimbursement for deductible on any accident that was not our fault. Nevertheless, I appreciate that Liberty Mutual - Auto Bundles with home policy and multi vehicle for discounts. I like the ability to access policy online and we were able to obtain the policy remotely in the final days of closing on the house.

The windshield cracked in many places due to a rock from a semi in front of us. The same day we were able to file the claim, repair the windshield, and be back on the road in less than a couple hours. The customer service is amazing and they care about our safety and our ability to have a safe vehicle. Customer service is the meeting point and it's important to be as professional yet normal as possible. Liberty Mutual has real people that answer the phone and will have real conversations without using a scripted set and it makes the difference for us. The customer service agents will take care of everything quickly. The agents all seemed genuinely concerned and even called to make sure everything was fixed.

Liberty Mutual was no more troublesome to purchase a policy from than other automobile insurance companies and had a better rate for the same coverage. I liked that we received a discounted rate for bundling our auto insurance with our homeowners insurance. I also liked that Liberty Mutual offered roadside assistance. But they could improve their auto insurance policy features by including roadside insurance coverage in the policy rather than paying extra for it.

I called them on the phone and went over the optional plans, personally chose a suitable plan and set it all up. Then I got a proof of insurance by email right away and the policy came in the mail. I can also see my account on the app. It's awesome! I like that it's easy and affordable, has friendly customer service and great coverage. I have not had to actually file any claims but I truly think if I do ever have to, it will be easy and without issue. I like that they have one year policies instead of just six months policies. So premium can't go up for any reason and it's locked in for a whole year. I'm totally happy and satisfied with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Liberty Mutual understood my claim, worked fast, and made the whole process easy and seamless for me. There is no one better for the price you pay. They always have your back. I enjoyed the process of obtaining insurance and found the process very easy. I like the fact that multiple autos were easily added to the policy and the benefits were explained, such as accident forgiveness. I love the fact that one wreck doesn't impact the cost of your insurance raising rates. The agent was also easy to contact initially. However, I was dissatisfied with the lack of response after initial contact. But other than that, I have enjoyed everything about Liberty Mutual - Auto.

We decided to shop around for different insurance due to soaring rates. Liberty Mutual is much more affordable and better coverage for less money than our previous insurance company. They explained rates and how they arrive at those rates. They also have some different aspects to their insurance policies than we ever had before. And the agent we dealt with was very knowledgeable and helpful. Been customers since August of this year 2017 and we have been happy with Liberty Mutual.

I looked for about a month online checking many companies and comparing them before I changed. They were there to help me in the process. I have tried a lot of companies and this one offers more and are always there when you need them. Great rates for young drivers and that is the main reason I was looking for a different company for my son going to be a new driver. They even did a discount because our son took drivers ed. I like their accident forgiveness, Liberty Mutual Premium Comparison, a lifetime repair guarantee, and new car replacement. Drivers who have had spotless driving records for the previous five years (regardless of where their vehicle was insured) can have their first accident forgiven without increases to their auto insurance premium. I also like that their company is affiliated with a national network of auto repair shops.
Liberty Mutual's auto insurance has uncoordinated communications between the teams of adjusters, and claims representatives but gives a cheaper service that does work. What I don't like though is their slow file claim, terrible customer service representatives, rate increases without cause, they need more money off for safe driving, and their polices don't cover enough items. I also have to pay for call numbers for filling complaints and they have no instant chat service. One thing to note about Liberty Mutual's coverage is that rates are guaranteed for a year. It's important to compare quotes across at least three insurers to make sure I'm not losing money by overpaying for auto insurance.

Liberty offers competitive rates with other companies and they offered the best rates for the coverage I requested. Purchasing was easy to do and the agent was helpful and patient with my confusion and queries. I also like the price and the good customer service. Easy to report and close claim. And I like the website. Logging in and using it was easy. Telephone calls were returned in a prompt time frame. But of course I would like my rates to be lower than they are.

It is a well known, successful and reputable company with decent rates, easy account management, good customer service, excellent claims process, and 24 hour customer service assistance. Everything was done online and whenever I need to make a policy change, I can easily call or email my rep directly and he gets things done right away. But I wish they have cheaper and more competitive rates; rewards and/or discounts for safe driving, professional affiliation policy discounts and loyalty discounts.

I like the reasonable pricing and they are reliable. The plans are easily laid out for you so you know what is in your plan. Customer service is really nice. It was only that one person who made everything difficult. Also, the claims take long to verify. I spend a good month and a half trying to verify everything and speaking to a representative. Overall I have been very happy with Liberty Mutual these past years. The agents are very helpful and friendly and they basically get things done. I can also do everything on their website and if not, it's easy and quick to be able to get in touch with an agent. I like doing things online to avoid having to go to an office and their website lets me get everything done from payments to notifying me what the amounts of my future payments are going to be before they are due, plus I still get paper bills in the mail in case website is ever down. I like how quickly and efficiently they worked with me and explaining everything to me. I had a good deductible and they don't seem to raise my insurance for every little bump or fender bender. Everything with Liberty Mutual has been very good and I can't say anything wrong about them except that I would like to pay some really, really cheap insurance payments.

I have never been so confident about my auto insurance until I switched to Liberty Mutual. I was originally with Geico and I didn't really like it as much because the customer service was absolutely terrible. They did not care about anyone but the people who have been there for a long time which made things very hard. Don't go to a company that's going to shut you up because that usually means that they are hiding something like that's in your credit or that's going to cause them to look bad. If I didn't check over Liberty Mutual I would have still been getting lied to, getting robbed of good money, and getting treating like less because of how long I'd been there.
Purchasing was extremely smooth and easy and I'm carefree as far as my insurance.I like that Liberty Mutual are very honest and don't lie to you about what exactly they're expecting or giving you. They're straight forward about their insurance. However I don't like how long it takes for them to get back to you on things. Say you're working for 8 days to get your car fixed, they get back to you after about 2 weeks. But I love that they're easy when they get back to you but it could go a lot faster. This caused me to want to switch a long time ago but I'm in a better place now as far as my auto insurance. If you ever need a place that makes things as easy as possible and never leaves anyone behind then I'd definitely switch over to Liberty Mutual.

I was with Liberty for year and was so glad that I made that choice after my most recent experience dealing with claims. They'll take your premiums month after month, year after year, but wait until you make a claim! The department should be there to help you get money to cover damages, right? Not these guys! I went with Progressive at the beginning of the year. I had been with Liberty Mutual up until then for years. I'm a FL resident. I got a rock chip in my windshield last Fall and reported it just recently because it had not been a problem. Since the chip didn't happen with Progressive, they directed me back to Liberty. I called Liberty and they told me that my deductible was $1,000 and the windshield was only $317 so filing a claim wouldn't matter.
I called Progressive back and they told me to call Liberty back because FL Statute waives deductibles on windshield damage as long as you have comp on your policy. I did that and the rep at Liberty told me that yes, that's true but that it only covers repair and not replacement. I hung up and looked up FL Statute and it clearly said that it covers repair and replacement. I made a third call and Liberty claims told me that I didn't call it in. I said, "Wait a minute, you just told me that had I tried to file a claim, that the issue was the deductible??" They proceeded to argue with me about the claim would be denied because I didn't call it in and that they would check with their supervisor, the management and the glass company that they work with, Safelight.
I was put on hold forever and when claims got back on the phone, she said, "Yep, just as I thought, they denied it." I ask why and she said it was because I had a TN address. Huh? I have a vacation home in TN that I insure with a homeowner's policy but what's that got to do with my FL auto? I had my policy right in front of me from last year and it clearly showed my FL address that they claimed that they didn't see. That was it. Denied claim because not only did she deny it, but so did her supervisor, the management and the glass company. The reasons? The $1,000 deductible, not calling it in, it being a replacement and not a repair and that I had a TN address. My policy clearly shows on page 4 that it included windshield replacement!
My last attempt was to call the glass company that I had selected to do the windshield replacement. She does this all day long with the claims departments for insurance companies and said that Liberty was the worst because who they use, Safelight, is a direct competitor of them. She agreed to go through the motions on a claim and as a liaison, so she put me on hold and called them. We went through the same exact script as what I had with Liberty and Safelight was apologetic and that I would in fact get my windshield replaced. It wasn't without a fight though. I was interrogated about the TN address. After it was understood that I had a homeowner's policy up there, she began the claim and refused to pay what the glass company who I hired, was charging. They agreed to give bottom dollar but after getting off of the phone with them, the gal from the glass company said that I wouldn't pay a dime and that they'd deal with it.
I'm not sure what I would have done without her. This should not be. I was a loyal Liberty Mutual customer for years and there WAS a possibility that I could come back from Progressive but after this last experience? Forget it. Progressive helped me more to tell me FL law and my rights whereas Liberty tried to bury my rights by putting me on trial causing me to defend myself. Needless to say, my windshield will be replaced for free paid for by Liberty. What a horrible company. A shout out to the State of FL! Thanks for having your resident's backs.

I like the price and what Liberty Mutual has to offer in bundle of my husband, myself & our 16yr old. However, when I call the company it takes forever to get a person on the phone. The agent was rude and off putting. I got aggravated and I was not happy with the way he talked to me. Maybe they could make a few tweaks here & there with the way the call systems works to get in touch with an agent. Other than that, my overall experience has been pretty good.

My experience with Liberty Mutual has been ok so far. I just wish that they would make me a lower monthly payments for my coverage. They are the lowest in my city so far but I'd still like to pay an even lower rate. I just think auto insurance in general is expensive especially if you are a really safe driver.

It was my first time getting insurance with any help and I had time to review policies and offers and was able to talk personally with an agent. The policy fits my needs and premiums do not go up if I get into an accident. I get rewarded for good track record. However, I wish I looked around more. My family have always had policies with Liberty and so I chose it because it is excellent coverage but it tends to be expensive compared to other companies. That is one of the more expensive insurances out there and it's hard to deal with online, you always have to call in. There is also no options to modify once you have selected a policy. You have to start over and the price may go up just because you have already signed a contract.

Overall I am very happy with Liberty Mutual. I like their low price and great customer service. Anytime I have a question, it is easy to speak to a customer service representative. They really care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure I am happy and satisfied with my car insurance. On the other hand, I dislike how when my policy renews and the price goes up, they do not call me. I wish they could call to discuss this and explain why my policy went up in price.

Liberty had knowledgeable individuals who were very helpful when I had to make a claim and it was processed very quickly. Overall it was a good experience and I'd recommend them to friends. Excellent insurance when it was required but they were a bit pricey for my budget so I ended up switching companies. I was able to find a similar insurance for less money from several different companies. I definitely would have stuck with them if I could have fit them into my budget at the time.

I liked my experience with Liberty Mutual. It was easy to purchase my auto insurance policy, and it was done without any issues. Their advertisements motivated me to get my auto insurance from them. I also like that they have a wide range of auto insurance policies and they were all of high quality. But I would like the website to improve. It is sometimes not very appealing and I do not like its aesthetic. Also, their advertisements can sometimes be annoying.

I like that Liberty Mutal - Auto has very low rates and their really prompt service was pretty good in claims for damages and repairs necessary. Very friendly adjuster came to visit house. However, the extremely High deductible was exhausting and unnecessary for glass and incentives to perform well or better are nonexistent or are very irritating and irrelevant to us most of the time. This insurance provided very Average service overall and I wouldn't recommend this insurance to anyone in Any manner to include family members or close friends.

They have good prices and they are loyal. They have cover your auto bumper to bumper in case you have an accident or something happen and they always have more offers to you in how you need to do. They work good with me on everything they tell me and I really like it. Plus they have money if you a safe driver and don't get in any accidents. They explain everything. Liberty Mutual offers easy claims and great service. And it is local so that's a definite plus. Their agent is very personable and makes you feel welcome! I obtained this policy years ago and I wish I would have known all the documents I needed to bring ahead of time. But it was a fairly simple process. However, the cost of the policy could be more efficient and they could provide better opportunities for discounts too. Such as school, multiple policies and vehicles etc. Otherwise, it's a great company.

I really like Liberty Mutual's policy options. I can bundle and include whatever I want and have the exact coverage that meets my needs, although this company should include better personalization. They could do a better job with keeping me updated on my policy and try to aid me in creating a better one that will meet my needs more. Nevertheless, my overall experience has been fairly good. They offered me the best deal for what I wanted and it is not as expensive as other policies with other companies.

One thing that I absolutely love about this feature of the insurance company and policy is that it has free towing and roadside going along with the other companies that I could choose from. And assistance that I will need in emergency. But it would be a great thing if you could bundle together more than one policy so that it can be a cheaper price.

The purchasing process was very easily done online. I am also able to receive my documents, insurance cards, etc. online. Therefore if I ever lose anything I can access my account and go right online to get another one. I like the ability to pay online and that I am able to receive a discount through my employer. I am also able to take online discount courses and apply it to my insurance. My insurance company also has an app that I can easily download to my phone. However I do not like that the price goes up every year. It should be just the opposite for being a long-time customer. This causes a very impersonal experience and is the only reason I am working to change insurance at this time.

I went online, filled out the necessary paperwork and forms, filled in my contact and claim information and was contacted by an agent who followed up with the process. I have full accident coverage in the event of fender benders, on road mishaps and non cause accidents, It was convenient that Liberty offers complete claim policy assurance. However, I'd improve on the claims processing time as it was quite an extensive and detailed phone call in order to file my accident claim and complete the entire process.

We purchased our policy by doing price quotes online. It was quick and easy. At renewal we were looking for additional ways to save and the agent recommended their safe driver program and we qualified for additional discounts. I was in a multi vehicle collision this year. Another driver was at fault but Liberty stepped up and handled everything quickly and easily. I had a nice rental the next day. Our vehicle ended up being totaled and we received a fair value settlement quickly that allowed us to purchase a new vehicle. I thought their service and timelines were great. Keep up the good work! I was searching different companies online and came across Liberty Mutual- Auto and decided to call them and see what policy would be best. They were friendly and the whole process was pretty easy. The only thing I would change would be the methods for tracking safe driving. Situations can occur that will cause you to take a small hit on the rating. But other than that, I like that they are knowledgeable about what they offer and what is best for me. They also suggested trying their safe driving tracker which can significantly discount premiums.

I have been with Liberty Mutual for 34 years. I have never had a major problems. They were my first insurance carrier. Someone came to my house and set up our policy. When my husband and I bought a house we used Liberty Mutual. Liberty Mutual has been around for a long time and they are very reputable. Also, their pricing is fair and comparable with Amica. Amica couldn't do much better. When I buy a vehicle, the dealership just sends Liberty the info! It's very easy. That's probably why I stick with Liberty Mutual.
But I hate their phone system. It sucks! I almost switched to Amica for that reason! Amica is great to speak with and answers their phones with a human. I called Liberty Mutual, ask a question and they run around with the computerized phone. It took forever to get a human and then someone told me I needed to speak with my personal rep. OMG! It shouldn't take so long to sleep a simple question.

I have been with the insurance company since 1988 and represented by the same agent during the time period. The agent has been helpful in all matters from auto, Home and life insurance questions. It was fairly easy to call Liberty from the start and set up the plan and then manage online. They asked simple questions and were able to insure us right away and get us the documentation that we needed. But it was a challenge to switch the policy from one state to another state when we moved. The price went up which ended up being a mistake, so we needed to call back and speak to someone else to get it resolved which was frustrating. Otherwise good overall experience. I like their accident forgiveness, bundle discounts, online ability to pay bills and manage my account and make changes. Responsive customer service that you can call seven days a week too.

Easy to purchase a policy with limited required contact with salespeople, which makes me happy because I know what coverage I need and dislike being pressured about things I don't need. There were no hassles or annoying sales pitches by pushy brokers. They have stable rates over the years and offer bundling of auto and home policies, discounts available through my employer. But I could always use a lower rate, but then I'd lose my bundling discount on my homeowners' policy. Other than that my experience with Liberty has been ideal.

Liberty Mutual offers features and services that other companies had not been offering. It was the first to offer accident forgiveness. Plus, my rates were cut almost by half. My previous company was MetLife. They were ok but I could not speak to them directly. I had to go through some kind of agent. My company before MetLife was Nationwide. They were great but their service declined and their premiums went increased. I have had Liberty Mutual for 2 years and I have never had a problem or issue with them. I'm satisfied and keeping Liberty Mutual.

My overall experience with Liberty Mutual was a pleasant one. My husband gets his disability check every 3 Wednesday of the month, not on the first or third like most people, but I was given the option to pick a set day for my payment to be made, which really helped me out a lot. However the pricing on insurance payments should be lower. Especially if you have a great driving record. It is mandated that all vehicle owners MUST HAVE insurance and I understand why, but make the payments reasonable. Most people in this country only make minimum wage, so we are usually having to decide every month if we are going to pay our rent or our car insurance. Gotta have both, but which can slide for a little while longer? This is not only for this company, but ALL companies. I only went to another company because of family and I'm not unhappy with this company, but if it were up to me, I would be back with Liberty Mutual.

We had heard the ads on tv and liked their replacement policy so we called an agent and she was wonderful and very helpful! We compared the benefits to other companies, the price, and the agents and chose Liberty Mutual. We are completely satisfied. Liberty Mutual was personable and reasonably priced. I never had any issues and only left when I got married. Customer service was always great and when I was hit, making a claim was easy and fast. I have looked around for other insurance companies, but in the end the cost of Liberty Mutual is the lowest we can find. They are accessible by phone, which I prefer over doing it online. They are very sympathetic about the problem and take down all the information on the phone. Given a claim number and having someone get back to us. I have always received an answer to any question I've asked. Also they are courteous, and I believe located in the US, which makes it much easier to communicate.

I switched from Liberty Mutual to another company and they welcomed me back, No questions asked and bundled my homeowners with my auto. They actually lowered my homeowners insurance as well as my car insurance and at the same time lowering my mortgage as well. They helped me get AAA when I was stuck on the side of the road. They let me change my policy and did not try to force me into any extras. But they are very expensive and it would be good if their prices were lower considering I've never been into an accident. I was issued a ticket for going through a stop sign by a police officer who was not paying attention because I did stop the stop sign. It was the only moving violation I had ever had and Liberty Mutual gave me points and as my insurance, I did not think that was fair. I think there should be a gift of forgiveness for moving violations.

The Liberty Mutual insurance was easy and quick to purchase. Found them online and called to get rates. They were lower than the company we had so we decided to sign up right then. The customer service is helpful. All issues have been taken care of for us quickly. However, it would be nice to have a couple more benefits like a rental included for the price we pay. It would also be good if we could get the car replacement coverage advertised at an affordable rate.

The overall experience and the process of purchasing the auto insurance policy was a bit easier as we did our research 1st before purchasing it. It is hassle free and can check and inquire online. The insurance Liberty Mutual Fund we just move as it has good feedback from friends and relatives so with our further research and their customer and salesperson explanation it seems like they are a very stable and dependable car insurance. The only disadvantage of this insurance is a little bit expensive than other insurance company. But I thought it was fine as it protects your car and your loved one just in case. I like Liberty Mutual because the customer service is great as well as the claims representatives. They are quick to take your call, polite and payments are fast as well. And I had no problem buying insurance from Liberty Mutual. We received a discount offer in the mail and the quote was about $400 less than what we were paying for our automatic and home policy. When we bought a new home and had to update our homeowners' policy, the sales rep was great. He called us back right away even though it was in the evening. And while I like Liberty Mutual Insurance overall, I had a problem when I made.a claim using their mobile app. Nobody followed up with me nor did they return my call. I'm sure it was the representative I was assigned to, but it left a bad taste in my mouth using the app. I also am not happy with the rate hikes every year.

I was a policyholder in good standing for years. Moved to a new state and bought a house, cancelled my auto policy with Liberty Mutual so I could bundle it with my new homeowners' policy (Allstate). It took 3 months, 3 faxes (one per month) with the appropriate forms (from my new agent), 3 months of phone calls with Liberty Mutual agents to get my policy cancelled. It was like a part-time job. The inefficiency of this company is astounding. Reps would claim they'd never received my forms to cancel, and would give us "alternate" fax number to try. In a nutshell, I tried to cancel in late January, this was not resolved until May, with a lot of work on my part, AND $65 in cancellation fees (not late fees, and not cancellation fees for non-payment). Beware this company. They are super sketchy, and will charge you all kinds of extra fees.

The experience with Liberty Mutual has been great. Customer service is good. They are caring, friendly and more than willing to help when there is a need. They provided useful information and were willing to go up and beyond assistance. I also like that they provide incentives for local college graduates. While the policy is automatically deducted from my checking account, there are issues when the price increase without notice. The price has more than doubled since I started with the company. It would be nice to have ample notice.

Buying my Liberty Mutual insurance was one of the more pleasurable insurance buying especially when comparing it two lower-level insurance companies that try to compete with their services. Liberty Mutual has a very good customer service and rapid problem resolution. Where other insurance companies fail to deliver on promises they make in customer experience Liberty Mutual not only meets those expectations, they exceed them. They have systems that can ensure that you don't sit online waiting for a representative to come to you and where you waste your day, they have a callback system that allows you to leave your number and name and they hold your place in line until someone is available at which time they call you back and continue ahead with your call.
However the roadside assistance program could be implemented more and response time could be greatly improved when the service is called upon. In many instances I am aware that the roadside assistance program is merely contracted out to various and multiple local businesses within the area the call is received from. However the insurance company employing these individuals should do a better job when it comes to monitoring and ensuring that those they work with give the same amount of customer service and likability that they expect their own employees to. Taking the time to ensure that those in partnership with them live up to their expectations goes a long way and making sure the overall customer experience remains a positive one and one that they can use as a example of their overall ability as a company.

It is affordable and they work with me when my payment is going to be late because I don't have the money on the due date. Always ask and make sure that you have all the good add on stuff that your insurance companies offer because you never know what is going to happen or on the road with all the other drivers out there.

I dealt with an agent on the phone to work through what types of coverage I wanted and then paid online. Not going into an office is very convenient and desirable for me. I wish there were declines on deductibles for each year without a claim. One other thing I would like to see is more discounts for number of years being Liberty Mutual's customer. But other than that, the price is very competitive and I like the car replacement in case of a total loss of your vehicle. I also like that I can make policy changes online. Price changes are shown as you make changes so you know your new payment immediately.

The process of purchasing their insurance was simple and easy. I called them and we walked through the process while my husband ran in to pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy that were already filled. Their roadside assistance is great. I have had to use it twice and both times they were there in less than an hour. The first time it was after 10 pm and the second time it was before 8 am. Even when I had other roadside assistance, I was never able to get someone so quickly. However, the price is the biggest issue with them. I have a perfect driving record and my insurance continues to go up. They said it was an increase in PIP... but the increase was more than just the increase here... yes I compared the two years.

It was easy to get my policy started with them. I was able to get all the coverage that I needed for my vehicle and myself. Very friendly customer service, always had all my questions answered when I need help with anything about my policy. At the beginning it was very good and I had no complaints about them at all. I was very glad that they were my insurance company but as time went by and I wanted to do a multiple car, they started giving me a very hard time to do that and wanted me to add another driver when I didn’t have one and then they just very expensive with not working with the coverage that I really wanted and really felt that they were just thinking about how much money they can make off of me and not caring about their customers one bit.
And I was getting as much coverage as I was when I only had the one vehicle. Wish someone would of been able to help with what I was really looking for but they just wanted to give what they wanted. So for that reason I had to cancel my policy with them and even at that point they were giving me a very hard time to do that they were asking for so much information about my new insurance policy which I really didn’t think it was any of their business that they needed to know any of that information.

They didn’t listen to the actual facts and when the claims adjuster talked to my daughter she was out of Texas and viewed the area by an aerial map. They went ahead and paid the claim of which they should not of. I think when you represent your client you should at least hear the facts and if your client ask you not to pay the claim, then maybe you should not.

Liberty Mutual provides great service. They are easy to deal with and tailor your policy to your needs. They have friendly hometown service and their customer service is easy to get a hold of and to deal with. My insurance agent was wonderful and easy to understand. Explained everything clearly, patiently and was readily available to help with any of my insurance needs. However right now Liberty Mutual seem to be a lot more expensive than most other companies when I compared quotes. I have no accidents and 1 speeding ticket in 10 years and my policy is over 400 monthly. Also, since my original rep left, I am having a hard time getting answers as to why my policy has almost doubled in price.

Reliable company but didn't help me when an accident was another person's fault. I would have to pay my deductible then have the third party reimburse me. They should help me then collect from the other company. Bundle with home insurance gives me a good rate but other issue will have me looking for a company that meets my needs better. Don't raise rates, customer service was bad when I was in urgent danger, would not send a truck for 45 minutes.

The auto deals I received when I signed up made me happy to not even look at another company. The no accident driver deals they provide had me feel safe. I feel that they are on your side when an accident is not your fault. The customer service representatives are always nice and friendly when I call in about questions I have. However, I dislike waiting on the phone for long period of times and I dislike waiting on a claim to come back in an appropriate time frame.

We originally had our home and auto insurance with Prudential and Liberty Mutual inherited us when it purchased Prudential. They are a solid company financially, and has been around for quite a while. They guarantee replacement value reimbursement for home, car, household items. Their agents are pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is that our premiums cost more expensive than a number of other companies.

Rates are reasonable. Claims are easy to make and are settled quickly. Customer service is knowledgeable and easy to contact...no hold times. Payments can easily be made online or over the phone. It is easy to sign up and that you can really trust them with your car/automobile so you don't really have to worry about anything bad happening to your car, just like their commercials say. But it doesn't cover 100 percent of everything and it probably isn't really the best insurance but it is better than nothing and there are still lots of positives to this insurance over other insurances you will find out there. I would definitely recommend this insurance to my friends and family as the pros of the insurance definitely outweigh the cons. It's a good buy!

Liberty Mutual - Auto has workers that care about their customers and make every effort to get things done, no matter how big or small that request may be. I would like for them to offer a tracking system that lets them know when we are lost or in distress so that there would always be eyes on us and we could feel more safe when leave far from our home. I also like the fact that their insurance does not ask unnecessary questions when I applied. But I wish there were more options included with the policy such as towing and car replacement meaning a rental car. I would also like to see an easier and more effective way of documenting damage to the vehicle as well as sending an adjuster out to see how much damage is done. But they provide moderately fast service when it comes to sending one. They also provide easy service and do it with a general concern for the public. I love the 24 hour option which provides an easy way to report an accident and to do it on my time.

When purchasing my policy, I was able to do everything via email, which I found very convenient. I like not having to call during business hours or speak to a random representative during off hours. But the price is a little higher. And the sales agents are not as knowledgeable as they should be. Maybe they need additional training or continued education when things change. The most positive things about Liberty Mutual include their claims processing and the option for things like new car or better car replacement. I didn't have to use the better car replacement, but I liked having that on my policy as an extra cushion should my car be totaled.

Liberty Mutual offered the least expensive policy having the required coverages and providing good service. This reduced our annual cost from our previous experiences. Getting the insurance was standard process -- discuss needs with my broker and look for a policy that provides the necessary coverages and good service. Chose from several options after performing due diligence, then completed the application and provided the required verifiable information. Under the constraints of the requirements of state law, our policy covers those things which must be included. I have dealt with the company several times now and found them to provide decent service.

I purchased my policy from my uncle who was an agent for Liberty Mutual. We met in person and signed all of the paperwork. I liked the price I received for the insurance and I liked that my agent was my uncle. I also liked that it was a local branch and it was easy to access. I have always loved the company which set me up with this policy. They are always fair with their prices and policies. If I ever have an issue all I have to do is call them and they get things back on track very quickly. They are willing to help in any way possible. I like the fact that if I don't have the money to pay it on its due date, I have a 15 day grace period in which to come up with the money without being canceled. This really helps when you're a single mother of children who their sperm donor doesn't pay child support to them.

The signup process was easy. The agent addressed my needs and any phone calls I made were initially promptly answered. The last calls I made were not addressed by the agent, but by a service that said they would contact the agent to then contact me. Service was prompt and the agent seemed interested in my needs. I also purchased homeowners insurance at the same time. Rates and coverage met my needs and price was considerably less than my previous insurance. The initial price was good, but rates went up yearly. Seems like it was a come on rate to get the business and then raise the rates thinking I wouldn't complain. I then called and was told I was getting older and that's pretty much the way it is. There are also some areas that could have been better defined as far as costs for extra services.

Liberty is a company we were with years ago and we came back to. They are reliable and pleasant to work with. You can e sign things when you make changes and update on the website easily. However we had a no-fault accident in 2013 while living in MI. Since we moved to IN and still had medical issues and bills, they have been slower at paying. We had to get a lawyer involved which helped a lot. Other than the no-fault claim, our agent and his team are fast to answer, review or update things we need. Their website is user friendly. I think there is always room from better value though.

Having multiple policies was good because there was a discount for this. Purchasing the policies was easy and then I just kept renewing them year after year until the premiums became much too expensive. Otherwise I don't think I would be able to afford insurance let alone be insurable. Also, Accident Forgiveness is an excellent feature. The rate of my policy is a little pricey but I guess that's the price I have to pay. Sometimes I have to sacrifice my cell phone or Internet bill or both just to be able to pay my insurance. I live far away from my job and I need my car to get to work so I can't afford not to have my car insured. The stupid buses don't go to that part of the city.

I like how Liberty Mutual is always listening to the conversation when we have one to pinpoint the problem, along with how they adjust their rates to fit me. They always try to find the best possible option for me and give me it along with give me my insurance rate accurate. But I don't like how if I am involved in an accident that I have to wait for them so long on the phone to talk to them about a problem I have and it's not really a smooth process of calling. Being in an accident it is already hard enough trying to get things figured out so this is just an extra step I would have to take in the little time of getting the accident solved.
I also don't like how high the rates are sometimes. They are ridiculous. I think they could work on some things but all companies can, Liberty Mutual is the most professional that I have dealt with since I turned 16. They definitely help you in positive aspects, along with guide you to better themselves and help with your every need. I think that they are an overall good company with some downfalls that could be fix so maybe hire some more people to work phones for when people call with problems or claims.

Liberty Mutual - Auto had the lowest rates for myself and my husband in the state of Colorado. They were easy to look at and I knew what I was getting when I signed up. The plan was laid out for us with the coverage amount and the price we would pay monthly and we cross reference that with other insurance to see who was the cheapest and would cover more. She is on top of everything and is always available to take our calls and answer any questions. She took a lot of time explaining everything to us before we signed. Their customer service was always helpful with any questions I had, and I never felt I was being taken advantage of with my rates and billing. I liked the ease of setting up the policy, and how straightforward it was. My policy had thorough explanations about what was covered, which helped me in my first foray into purchasing my own auto insurance. There was not a local contact office when I had insurance through this company though. I was fortunate enough to not ever have to use their services but now that I do have insurance through a local office, I feel it would have been an inconvenience to have to file claims.

I've had Liberty Mutual for the past eleven years and it is the same company my parents use as well. I felt like they were the most professional and honest company to get my insurance from. It was easy to sign up and get coverage. I did it all over the phone. The person who took my phone call to sign up for a policy was very knowledgeable and got me a lot of coverage for an affordable price each month. Liberty's very family friendly and professional. I wouldn't change anything about my policy. The price is low and I get the best coverage. They're great to have on your side! I've never once had an issue with their customer service or anyone I've spoken to over the phone. Their website is easy to use as well and navigate. In 2012, I got into an accident with an inexperienced driver of sixteen. They replaced my whole car and it was never a problem.

They are good at the job. When I call to put in a claim the first thing I was ask was if I was ok. That means they were more concerned about me and not the car and that right there is what made me happy about this company. They hop right on my claim. They keep me in the loop about my claim with the email and the text sent to my phone. I can easy look at my policy online. Sometimes it's a little hard to get in to see it but it does come up. Very happy with them. They are kind and they also know how to treat the customer and that right there is what I look for. Great customer service is a must for me and they go out of the way to do that. I left another company because I was not getting that.

Liberty Mutual's app is wonderful; I can do most of my business online. I like the rental assistance and their Auto Replacement feature has been very beneficial to me. When processing a claim it's very easy. However, I wish they wouldn't use my credit to justify my premiums. Rates seem to be increasing but they are compatible with other insurance companies. Also, I wish they offered a time-out when someone loses a job. Like a one time buffer. It would help out so much. Nevertheless, my best friend is my representative which makes it easy to adjust my policy as needed. But I also know that she gives this kind of service to all her customers which tells me she is excellent at her job.

Liberty Mutual is great and way better than the other companies that are listed on this survey. The company is going in a good direction and in a very positive way. I like the feature where I can easily save some money here and there and not worry about anything at all. But I feel that the customer service is lacking and sometimes they seem quite rude when dealing with customers that are looking for affordable quality insurance. They could improve by having better overall quality and customer service. But overall, the process was amazing. My purchase went smooth, easy and fast. I admit there were some issues in the beginning but it all got sorted out.

Overall experience has been very good. I like the representatives and agents. They're all very friendly and helpful whenever I have a question about my policy. They take time to explain answers to me so I have a good understanding of my question. Liberty Mutual's a great company and worth the cost but the cost per month could be reduced to be a little more reasonable. Otherwise, I will stay with this company because of my past experiences and the ease of filing claims.

Liberty Mutual is a huge FRAUD & SCAM of a business. Very sad. They do not pay or take responsibility. A large work truck of a company (Blackwell Engineering) they insure crashed into my convertible & they REFUSE to pay in an effort to save money. Corporate American Greed. After telling my story it turns out I'm just one of many scams & frauds... HORRIBLE customer service. Nothing but people who don't answer their phones and don't know what they're doing. They have the worst communication skills, and have us going in circles. Some of the most simple tasks can't even be made like returning a phone call or filling out paperwork correctly. Whoever that lady is that answered the phone, drives away potential members like myself. You guys need a new replacement for this location for whoever is working the night shift on 10/27/16. And if you get an adjuster named Megan run! Worst company ever!

They refused to cover Tow on a Toll Road even though I called them to confirm that they would. Terms and conditions are unfair and stacked against the consumer. They stated maximum tow coverage under policy I bought was $50 which when I confirmed with call center was supposed to be only if I called the Tow company without calling them first. Really disappointed. Stick to AAA or other insurer.

Cheap rates and good service until you have a claim. Then you get stalled, low balled on your vehicle value, rude adjusters. Only junkyard parts used to fix your auto. You get what you pay for. They could care less about customer satisfaction. You become a number.

Liberty Mutual asks questions and they make sure to understand what you want in an insurance policy. They give you quotes where the price range is based off your needs. I can access services multiple ways and I can contact or pay them by phone or online. They call me annually to follow up and review my policy and verify if we can get discounts. Overall great policies and services but one thing that I dislike is location. I don't have access to going in person and from where I live there is no local office. I do get documents mailed to me but it would be nice to get them in person and quicker.

I have had the same policy/agent for ten years. I was not pleased with a former company and was referred to this agent. He keeps in touch even though I have had rare occasion to use auto insurance services. I like the discount program with my alma mater. They have always been very responsive when I have needed them. I also like the proactive new services they add: valet claims, etc. I would prefer more in-person options though including local office availability to discuss some issues in person. Getting to my agent by phone is not always possible; but the phone staff have always been courteous and attempted to answer any questions.

Liberty Mutual has always been one of the best insurance companies around and my experience has been very good. I have had many insurance companies but Liberty Mutual has always been the right one for me right now. The process of purchasing insurance was very easy for me. Liberty is most handy if someone else needs them. They think of everything. They offer suggestions and help me with the paperwork and with any questions. I liked bundling many car and driver safety rewards. They offer many. Some is what I want and some for in handy. I pay only what I'm using. Nothing more nothing less. I also get to pick my plans and that's a plus. My overall experience with Liberty Mutual was excellent and meet my needs. They are the best.

It's not easy to get a quote on the website, I had to call, wait on hold and then go over the same info again that I had put in on the website which was pretty redundant to me. But I like that Liberty's cheaper than the competition, nice and friendly phone folks and easy website to navigate. Setting up your profile is easy too. It was fairly easy to get our policy. It takes a while, though and doesn't move as fast as I would have liked. It seemed like it took forever and that made me impatient with the process.

I like Liberty Mutual's replacement plan. If they total out your car they will give you a car one year newer for no additional cost to you. The rates are pretty low as well and. Been with them for over 7 years. Very pleasant experience and representatives are easy to get along with. Had to deal with them with two car accidents in the past and never had any problems. Have my rental the same day.

Price and reputation sold me on this company. My previous insurance company was not honest enough to tell me not to pay for collision on my 2003 Saturn but Liberty Mutual was. I could pay it but it would never pay out because of the age of my car. In this one act they gained my trust and saved me a boatload of money. I hope I never need a claim but if I do I have high hopes that they will come through.

My experience has been overall well in about four years. The process of purchasing auto insurance was a somewhat stressful one. Trying to find the best deal that benefits you the most and at a decent price was a task. But overall a lot of knowledge was obtained and doing some research does not hurt at all. In the end it was a learning experience. I like the amount of money I pay a month. I am currently paying a lesser amount for insurance, than other insurance companies who offer the same coverage. One feature I would like is to pay a lesser amount for my coverage. As a loyal valued customer I deserve a discount. Also, the amount that you have to put out for a deductible is kind of unfair. But other than that everything else does not seem to bother me at all.

I like the new car one year newer policy where they get you a car that is one year newer and so many less miles. Instead of only giving you only part of the blue book value that the car is worth. Also I like their device that sees how you drive so that you can save money on your insurance after you complete the process. However I would like to pay for a whole year at income tax time. Right now they only let you pay 6 months worth of insurance ahead of time. It cost me more money to pay that way. And I could definitely be more able to pay if I could pay a whole year from my income tax.
Also need a statement every month even if I am already paid up for 6 months and a new card every 3 months would be good. Other than that, the customer service is awesome and the price is great. The people who take your claims are very respectful and knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Also I can even use my Facebook messenger to communicate with them if I need to.

Liberty Mutual Auto provided complete coverage for my vehicle after I was caught in an accident with a vehicle with less insurance. I never expected I would have to use it, but the experience greatly proved that accidents can happen to anyone. I was caught in traffic and the driver behind me became impatient, and as they attempted to turn into the next lane they crashed into my car. Rather than being charged, I simply called them and proved that the other individual was in fact at fault, and then received a check in the mail. But I would improve the amount that they provide coverage for, as the only reason I received total coverage was because my car was worth only 20,000 and I had owned it for a few years. However, if in the future I purchase a newer car of a higher value I may not be completely covered.

In purchasing insurance, I start by looking at the prices and reviews of each insurance company. Then I look at the options and what coverage I will get for the best price. My experience is that pitching insurance is always time consuming and frustrating but when you pick the right insurance then it all becomes worth it. I personally like Liberty Mutual's accident forgiveness. It's always good to know that if you have an accident it won't punish you. Also the staff is always friendly and willing to help when I have an issue. I would improve the rates of the auto insurance though as they can be a bit pricey especially with new cars that require full coverage. Also more local offices are always needed.

The process of purchasing it was quick & easy. I was able to have it start without having to put down a downpayment. They offer a lot of different coverages & the option to have the payment deducted from my payroll. I can receive discounts for having multiple vehicles & I also have renters insurance as well. However, I didn't like the cost & they should have both the renters & auto insurance together instead of through two different companies.

I like the roadside assistance, accident forgiveness, 300,000 in bodily injury, 150,000 in bodily injury and multi car discount. Liberty Mutual has been around a long time and it is one of the best insurance company around. Their prices are fair, too. Also, my agent had a meeting with me one on one and we sat down and he explained everything to me about what they offer in detail and allowed me to make the decisions of what I needed and want for my vehicle to be covered. And my agent has been the best at making sure I am always happy and satisfied.
However, I dislike the fact they do not have commercial insurance. My husband had a transporting company and Liberty Mutual is in my opinion one of the best that it would be great if he could insure his commercial trucks with them. I would also like to improve there rules of how long you have to be driving to have a discount in your annual premium. I think if you have been a good driver for at least 2 years with no accidents you should of least have a price discount or get some money back for a reward of good driving.

I love Liberty Mutual - Auto since they work with me and I have installed payments. It's also the cheapest insurance around. I have many agencies but they are good to me as well. For the purchasing process, I went to the Liberty Mutual office and the receptionist was very nice and courteous. I loved the way she handled me as a customer. I also love the option they have - the app that I can make my payments that no others have. Liberty Mutual is the company that I would recommend to anyone.

Liberty Mutual has great customer service, the reps are extremely knowledgeable, and the coverage is more than sufficient for the price of the premium. The only thing that I dislike about Liberty Mutual is that I have a deductible, however that is also the case with other insurance companies! And if I could change one thing to improve the company, I would add more incentives for safe driving. But other than that, the overall experience and the process of purchasing my auto policy was extremely pleasant and much easier than I had originally anticipated. I was able to find the proper coverage that I wanted, with a price that was lower than I had also anticipated.

I bought Liberty because of the new car/better car replacement and LM won't honor it - they refuse to pay for rental car even though UIM in VA law says they have to. Buying okay but price has gone up each year but was supposed to go down (clean record) - I didn't complain because as long as I had new/better car replacement I was happy - now that I need it they are changing the value of my car so as not to total it and pay me what is due! And they still owe me over $2000 for UIM rental and my brand new car has been in shop since MARCH 9! Dislike EVERYTHING - Rude customer service, take forever to get back to you, bad faith principles etc. They are negligent with a first party claim and I have a contract with them and their duty is to be fair to me and explain all options but they literally ignore me and provide wrong information.

This company l was good until you get in a accident, it's another story, insurance goes up, call to get it cheaper. LM gives me a number to call, LM lie all the time, you never get a straight answer. I wanted to speak to manager, the rep. gave me a hard time so I hung up, call back the rep fix my number when I call, my call would go to the adjuster. I left a message with3 days ago, then adjuster finally calls me. Please I beg you. Don't buy insurance from these jailhouse crooks, you will be sorry down the line, thank you. I rise.

Accident forgiveness, lifetime repair guarantee, and new car replacement is what they advertise. Sounds great but none of it is true. They seem to double triple charge me then customer service tells me I have to wait 5 business days to get my money back and they take forever to do anything. They suck. It is the worst insurance company there is. Look at all the bad complaints.

I am pleased with Liberty Mutual - Auto. The purchasing process was simple thanks to my agent. I believe it was done in one day, in just a matter of hours. However, I would like them to update their online website. But other than that, I like that my rates are low and my agent is easy to get in contact with. If I ever need him I can call or email and he will get back to me if he missed my attempt to contact him.

Liberty Mutual is a great company. Family, friends and coworkers have all told me great stories about them. Liberty Mutual has been around so long and made so many different improvement and changes. I've had them for years without little to no issues. They offer great deals, competitive prices and great innovative work. I like a few of the features that this particular place offers. I have car insurance, renters, and life insurance with this company and I'm always on time with payment but this is how they treat me. At first I like the price of my insurance but now it's durable. Policy price and customer service are awful. I really hate my lazy agent here in Honolulu. I have questions but no one calls us back and it's been a month. When we call the main office in the mainland they just tell me to call my agent. When I call again the agent in the mainland says that sometimes agent are only about selling insurance and not be there to give information or anything. They send me letters but when I have a question there's no one to answer them!! They enjoy sending me everywhere with the wrong information. I hope they keep to the price that was quoted and call customers back at a timely fashion. They should also have good customer service and be sympathetic about what's going on. Totally hate Liberty Mutual.

They have had my car/truck insurance for a few years now and I'm planning in keeping them... They have very good rates for the policy you get and are easy to deal with. However I have the automated phone system and I want to talk to a real person... Also their billing is always messed up. I have to get it worked out which takes time on the phone. This has happened more than once and it is a pain. They need to change this. But their rates are worth the billing problems and most of the time is a good experience. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

The very first experience of purchasing insurance from Liberty Mutual wasn't easy, but getting insurance never is, so it marked up to be the same as any other company when it comes to signing up. I like Liberty Mutual policies because even if I have an accident they don't charge me extra. It's good because other companies that I know of don't do that. Liberty doesn't offer enough variety of choices for different policies though. They only have a few and most aren't things a lot of people want. Their business would be better if they offered wider stuff.

When I first bought insurance through Liberty Mutual, it was so easy and quick. I did this over the phone and the representative I talked with was able to answer every question. With other insurance companies, every time a questioned was asked, whoever I was talking to would put me on hold to go get an answer. I really like and respect how wonderful Liberty customer service is, as well as their pricing. I like the roadside assistance they offer and I also feel safe and secure with them. Was able to purchase insurance over the phone with no problem. Gave my information and they were able to give me a quote and an insurance. Happy with what I got. The person I spoke with was very helpful, pleasant and understood all of my needs. She tried to get me the best price that was available for me. Even offered to help me its other types of insurance and was knowledgeable about different type to get. But everything was done over phone. They did not have a local office that I could go and speak to someone. At times it seemed that I was talking to a robot and she seemed to be reading off a script. Also, price is a little high but overall, they are very reliable and dependable.
