Took extremely long to handle my claim went through two different claims. First time they couldn’t reach the property owner. Second time around the agent was away every other week so it took a while for my claim to even be processed because she’s always out the office. She was very helpful but the waiting game I did not like.

I paid specifically for insurance for my bike, and my bike when stolen was properly reimbursed, which is very nice. Insurance companies so often have a reputation for not paying out, so I'm glad my money actually mattered. The process was straightforward and non-confrontational.

I had stored appliances and furniture at a storage unit. I noticed several items were taken. I contacted the storage facility to let them know, which they insisted that someone I knew took the items, I knew it was no one I knew who took my things. The storage facility then let me know that the cameras weren’t working during the duration of my incident. I did get a police report and took a copy to them. Police contacted them but they also said they never got a phone call. I was very frustrated with this storage facility for not caring and trying to work with me. I then contacted Lemonade to file a claim. They were a great help in ensuring me they would help in any way they could. Johnathan was my advisor and did a wonderful job and was able to help me in getting something back since I wasn’t able to get my stolen items back. I definitely recommend Lemonade!

Unfortunately, our engagement ring broke but working through the claim with the Lemonade team made this tough time so much more bearable! I never thought I would ever need to actually use my renters insurance but I recently had to due to a break in. At first I did not want to file the claim because it seemed like more of a hassle but Bayley made it super easy and she was compassionate. The process was extremely easy and I’m glad I am a customer.

I just moved into an apartment with my family, wasn't told about sketchy people coming around due to previous residents. They stole our stuff, caught them on Ring, filed claim. I felt there was more AI/automated communication than personally being able to talk to someone. I would prefer the option to speak with a live representative when needed versus only being able to contact someone through the AI in the app.

My gas bill was skyrocketing. Up 500%. Tiles on my bathroom floor were discoloring. I had no explanation for any of it. I called the gas company and they came out and did an inspection. They told me there was no gas leak but they suspected a hot water pipe break under my bathroom floor. I immediately informed my property management company. Two days later, my water heater exploded and a hot water pipe broke flooding my bathroom floor. It was a mess. The apartment had to be "replumb'd" which meant the water would be turned off for days. The apartment was uninhabitable.

We had a water leak in our apartment while on vacation and we came to a house that was not in a livable condition. Middle of the night we had to move into a hotel and our pain started. Silver lining was our entire interaction with Stephanie from Lemonade who not only was patient and gave a listening ear but also very knowledgable and guided us well throughout the entire process. Through the entire close to 3 weeks of stress, Stephanie was literally the only person who kept us sane reminding us that we are in safe hands. Not only did she make us feel safe, she also made sure the process was as hassle free as possible. We couldn't appreciate and thank her enough for all the work she has done for us. I have dealt with many insurance providers and the difficulty in getting claims processed can be bewildering. Lemonade is truly, actually different. Both getting a policy and then getting a claim looked at and processed is simple and friendly. I’ve had renters insurance with them for 5 years and pet insurance for 2, and planning to stay much longer!

Had a very good experience filing a claim. The representative was helpful and understanding. The police station I filed my report with was not being responsive and was very hard to reach. My claims specialist was proactive and reached out to the PD to try and hunt down my report. Very helpful.

Evan was 10/10. Her email signature let me know when she’d be out of the office which was helpful. She promptly got in touch with the fire dept to verify the disaster and responded to emails within a reasonable time frame.

I was sitting in my easy chair, texting my family and friends, letting them know that I had just found out I officially graduated. I called my mom to tell her the news, I had a strange feeling that something was wrong. I charged it to the fact that I had just got up from a nap about 10 or 15 minutes prior. I couldn't have been more wrong. I told my mom that I smelled barbecue, so I went outside and saw a little bit of smoke, and thought it was weird to be barbecuing on such a windy night. I came back inside, and sniffed the air again, and then I told my mom this isn't barbecue, something is on fire! I went outside again, and that little bit of smoke turned into a nice size cloud of smoke. In a panic, I grabbed what I could, which wasn't much, and headed towards the door.

My car was broken into, and I was robbed while traveling on a road trip. Lemonade was extremely patient while I recovered from this ordeal after filing my claim. They made it easy to submit at my own pace, let me pause the process until I was ready, and were helpful and informative throughout. It took me 7 months to finally get everything done, but they were understanding of my situation and happy to help.

Recently I had water leakage and I lost almost all the items and when I claimed for them, I haven't received the 40% of my loss which is very dissatisfaction. I have a very good amount of property loss on my coverage and I'm not sure why I have that amount and when I'm not getting what I have coverage. I am completely unhappy with the way they approved my claim.

We recently experienced our car being stolen. We had some items in the vehicle that were stolen. Once the claim was submitted Erin was extremely efficient and always communicated. Her ability to get the claim resolved quickly was super beneficial to us.

My apartment flooded due to water problems within the walls and in the foundation of this building. I tried seeking help immediately so my furniture and things would get damaged from my landlord. After five days getting ready to move into a hotel and starting my claims with the insurance company because now I had several items damaged. The insurance company requested a brief video of me describing the incident. I think the next day or the same evening I received a email from a lady name Sarah giving instructions on the next process of the claims.

Working with Lemonade has been a breath of fresh air. Since having my car stolen twice in the past year (crazy I know) but true, I have spent hours on the phone with State Farm trying to get them to do their job. Well, this last time I submitted a claim for my belongings in my car under my Lemonade Renters insurance and it was the easiest process, with me getting paid out the very next day!! The difference between working with State Farm and Lemonade has been night and day. I can not recommend Lemonade more highly. Five Stars, I would give them six if it was an option.

I will buy some Lemonade stocks because my experience of Lemonade is impressive. I've had Lemonade renters insurance for a 1year and half and then I got a theft in the parking lot so I claimed it. It's approved so quick and easy. The price of the insurance is so reasonable. Could be half than other companies. I'll definitely recommend to my family and friends. My husband's bike was stolen while we were both positive for Covid. We both felt horrible and didn't have the energy to deal with much of anything. I submitted the claim to Lemonade. That same day, I got a phone call from Alyssa. She was very friendly, empathetic, and efficient. She understood that I didn't have the energy to finish everything right then, so she sent me the information I needed by email, and I was able to submit the needed information on my own time. When I felt better and submitted the info a couple of weeks later, I got a response back almost immediately requesting my bank info so that they could cash out the payment. The claim itself was open for 21 days. But the majority of that was waiting on me to submit info because I was sick. Lemonade and Alyssa did a great job of processing the request quickly and paying out the claim. Thank you!

I never had to use the service until I did then once I filed a claim after losing most of my xmas items to a flood I was steamed rolled by Lemonade and dropped as a client. Thanks for nothing. Then when asked why was I dropped after filing a claim was told oh my payment wasn't on time. Oh really then why didn't you drop me then and before that if that was the real cause. Your company suck and you're nothing but a scam.

I have very bad experience with the claim adjusters. He is not professional. He don't want to support the person how have suffered and homeless. They are sitting in well furnished Desks and treat the people just like animals. They don’t want to help the person and just moving around.

I filed a claim online and it was super easy and quick and efficient! I was told I'll get some money in just a few days! My car was broken into so my window was smashed and a few things stolen so having this extra money will definitely help pay for the repairs and damages.

When my apartment flooded to due an incident in the building Lemonade was amazing. They handled my claim with care and ease and it was just one less problem to worry about. We were out of the house for a few weeks and it helped so much to not have a huge unresolved issue on top of the work.

I had my camera lens additionally scheduled together with my camera for less than $3/month extra. I lost my lens hood while taking pictures in NYC. It took me 5 minutes to submit a claim through the app, and it took Lemonade 1 day and 1 phone call to get the claim approved. I got reimbursed directly to my bank account for the price of a new lens hood with tax included. If you’re a camera enthusiast/hobby photographer, I absolutely recommend getting a Lemonade policy instead of any sort of retail protection plans.

There were some miscommunications, but Jon has been very accessible and responsive. I also like the flexibility during the process. The only problem was the claim process through chat in the app, which made me stressed out, because I couldn't proceed without receipt or report number.

This will be your biggest mistake, to get this insurance. They are not going to help you… Will be better to go with like Geico or any other but them… A girl name Ashley handle my case. Boy she is rude as no one deserves that type of attitude from when you asking question and just need the right help.. She will not help or any of them. They will help you as little as possible and is not worth at any point get this insurance… Inform yourself with other before…

Jacob who was managing my claim was very courteous, professional and prompt. He alerted the receipt of the claim, updated on the decision process and communicating the claim approval. The only future request is to itemize the claim amount. Otherwise, this was one of the easiest insurance claims I've ever made. I'm happy with Lemonade coverage.

I’ve had Lemonade for a few years now and of course I never thought I’d need to ever file a claim but I did not once but twice and both times, each adjuster was so helpful! The first time I filed a claim, our rental house became flooded during the winter storm of 21 and we had to move out for repairs. Our adjuster made sure we quickly got the money we needed to stay in a hotel and settled our claim in a timely manner. The same goes for the second time. I’m just extremely please with this company!

We had serious water damage occur in our apartment that we rent. While the situation required us to move out, Lemonade made our transition time much easier. Having raw stew age in your basement is no fun, but Stephanie and Lemonade were amazing with handling my damage claim and making sure everything was in order. On a recent trip to Chicago, my stepmother had a stroke and I came to help her with health care. I decided to give her a small birthday gathering hoping it would lift her spirit. Well the trip went downhill the moment, we landed 55 min late, by the time I made it baggage one of my suitcases was not in baggage. 45 min later someone took my suitcase. The person who took it return it the next day. And yes my Ipad was not in my suitcase. Southwest claims they are not responsible for electronics.

I had my phone stolen and found out that renters insurance can cover theft. I submitted a claim with minimal knowledge of what goes into the process and Lemonade made it very clear to see what was required. After collecting the required documentation and submitting a police report I completed the claims process in less than 10 minutes and received confirmation of my claim payout in less than 10 seconds…unreal. Happy to recommend lemonade.

The process took way longer than I had expected to (almost a year!) and stalled out when someone on the claims team (Rich) apparently left the company, but the process moved way more quickly when Nadia took over. She was great!

Aaron assisted me in my claim for property that I lost where my car was stolen in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It took a minute to get everything in order. My car was stolen April 15 of 2022. This has been an open claim with a Lotta red tape. The Milwaukee Police Department was not helpful with giving her the official police report which hold us up but Aaron voice it very well in solving this problem.

I’ve never heard of renters insurance cover accidents outside the home. Luckily enough, Alyssa took the best care of me and helped me out. She has great communication and fast with moving forward with my process. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for all your help!
