Having raw stew age in your basement is no fun, but Stephanie and Lemonade were amazing with handling my damage claim and making sure everything was in order. She was great with follow up and making sure I got everything covered and my reimbursement was prompt. Would highly recommend Lemonade to anyone!!!

On a recent trip to Chicago, my stepmother had a stroke and I came to help her with health care. I decided to give her a small birthday gathering hoping it would lift her spirit. Well the trip went downhill the moment, we landed 55 min late, by the time I made it baggage one of my suitcases was not in baggage. 45 min later someone took my suitcase. The person who took it return it the next day. And yes my Ipad was not in my suitcase. Southwest claims they are not responsible for electronics.

I had my phone stolen and found out that renters insurance can cover theft. I submitted a claim with minimal knowledge of what goes into the process and Lemonade made it very clear to see what was required. After collecting the required documentation and submitting a police report I completed the claims process in less than 10 minutes and received confirmation of my claim payout in less than 10 seconds…unreal. Happy to recommend lemonade.

The process took way longer than I had expected to (almost a year!) and stalled out when someone on the claims team (Rich) apparently left the company, but the process moved way more quickly when Nadia took over. She was great!

I contacted Lemonade due to a theft in my home. It was handled so quickly I couldn’t believe it. Being in the insurance industry myself I wish all could be handled as quickly. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Aaron assisted me in my claim for property that I lost where my car was stolen in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It took a minute to get everything in order. My car was stolen April 15 of 2022. This has been an open claim with a Lotta red tape. The Milwaukee Police Department was not helpful with giving her the official police report which hold us up but Aaron voice it very well in solving this problem.

I’ve never heard of renters insurance cover accidents outside the home. Luckily enough, Alyssa took the best care of me and helped me out. She has great communication and fast with moving forward with my process. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for all your help!

My claim was processed almost instantaneously, and I was reimbursed for my loss in a matter of days. Very easy to use on the app. I'm not sure how much my premium will increase, but I'm glad I had the insurance policy in place.

Backed up toilet in my apartment caused water damage to my landlord’s unit below. I paid out of pocket for the repairs and Lemonade reimbursed me in full. The process of filing the claim was easy and straightforward. I supplied the proof of damage(pics), quote from the repair company and my landlord was responsive to the claims specialist. It’s never a fun time when something awful happens like a car break-in, and you’re stuck dealing with the aftermath. Especially if it’s your first time filing an insurance claim and working through all the difficulties of figuring it out. I was graceful to have Erin as my claim representative. She was so helpful and really helped me through the whole process. She helped alleviate a lot of the stress of the situation, and was very kind and sympathetic throughout. I was recently robbed and was able to easily submit a claim on my stolen items to Lemonade and have it approved quickly. It was a relief to not have to deal with long wait times when working through an issue that was so time sensitive.

The only part I worried about was I could not contact a human to talk to about how to file my claim. I had a strange claim and needed help. I filed the best way I could. I’ve been a part of the Lemonade family for about two years now and when I needed them most, they absolutely delivered. Throughout my claim process I was told the Lemonade team was here to help me. But that's not the truth. After 30+ days and 100+ emails I was offered $1100 out of my $15,500 claim. I feel completely lied to and cheated. They left out items that I had full receipts for and items that cost me close to $1000. They credited me from $150-$200. Now how can I replace my items that were taken from me with only 25% of their value.

I've had Lemonade Renter's Insurance for a few years now and I've made two claims, both of which were handled quickly and approved once I provided the necessary receipts and other pertinent information. This last claim had to do with theft of some valuable items from my car. I didn't have all the receipts on hand for an instantaneous approval so a representative, Lauren, followed up with me to get the rest of the information. She was professional and timely with her responses.

There were some exceptions that caused concern during the claim but the agent was very helpful navigating items which did not have receipts. Overall, working with the agent turned this into a positive experience. Settlement was quick and painless with direct deposit.

Firstly, I am deaf and do not speak. I was denied equal access from the start. However I am used to that and usually okay with it. The mere disregard for decency and the way they treated me. I was just diagnosed with a terminal illness and told I can prolong my life by keeping rested and stress away. However this must have shortened what time I have left. THe way they continued to ask me questions as if I was a criminal. What's more, is it was a crime. It was all caught on tape. I feel violated and stripped of the little dignity I have left by Claudia and Eliana, after the crime. Then we caught them in multiple lies. They tried to find loopholes to not pay the claim. They still haven't paid so who knows if it ever will get paid, not to mention they won't reimburse me near the value. It's just been a sad experience from Lemonade.

My apartment flooded and had to file a claim for the property damage. They were pretty good with working with me. Had a little trouble getting ahold of them via automated voice messaging system. And for some reason the voicemail option isn’t available. Overall, I am pleased with the experience.

My apartment was broken into and I had many of my belongings stolen. I never thought renters insurance would come in handy to this extent, but I’m now glad that I have it. Insurance agencies are usually full of **. But so far Lemonade is the least bad of them. Good almost. Apart from the condescending BOT responses when you initially start the claim, this prices was pretty easy and positive. Stephan was accurate, efficient, and reassuring. The obvious template email conducting business was always followed by a brief personal touch by Stephan; that honestly was very comforting.

I don’t know where to begin about my experience. Still traumatized about my event, I try my best to remain vigilant and not to become a victim in basically one of the highest rated areas for such events. My experience with Lemonade was helpful, mainly because I didn’t have to verbally talk about it extensively and relive the moments. This company clearly recognizes the direction the world is going, (technology). I don’t think I’ve used something so simple and easy. For some reason the police department never reached back out with a finalized police report. After 2 days of waiting my claims person reached out and told me he’d look into it. I don’t think it was even a day later and I was notified that my claim was approved.

I found Lemonade via one of the social channels so boom they became my renter's insurance provider. It was super easy to sign up and get started. At that time I was living with my boyfriend my now husband and it was very easy to add him onto the plan as well for a super low fee. The best part was when we had a water damage (this is was disastrous), but Lemonade had a super easy way to handle stuff. I had to go into the app, initiate a conversation - at first I thought that was cumbersome as during mid-chat conversation they asked me to record a video and I wasn't ready to do it at that time, but the good thing was that they saved my info so I was able to return back to my claim and work on it.

I didn’t receive the proper help I was hoping to get. The only thing I was help with was a hotel. Most of my belongs I have to replace because my apartment flooded and I didn’t receive any help. The main problem I encountered was lack of getting hold of my agent and getting return calls and dealing with other insurance company involved. In the future, first that nothing else happens that I will need to contact Lemonade for assistance. There was a fire in the unit behind me. Things weren’t damaged as bad in my unit but my 4 yr old and myself had to vacate because of the pollution. I was lied to about moving units that my insurance would cover the $150 rent spike. Until it was time to finalize things, Ricardo lied as if he never had said what Lemonade can offer and that was to pay $150 for the transition to the new unit's rent. Then I was told after resigning a NEW lease that what Ricardo said couldn’t be honored because they needed a deadline on how long I’ll be housed at the new unit! So I was stuck paying a $150 more to live although I’m insured and was told something completely different by lemonade. Other than that, the rates are ok. I just pray that nothing happens again and I have to deal with the claims department at all.

Nadia victimized me in my claim process after being victimized at my place of residence. She was unprofessional when handling an email, and making efforts to help me. Instead questioned me and my supplemental police report. I believe she paid me about .50 cents per item that was stated my police report. I can’t believe this company requires a receipt for all items lost in a car fire. Who keeps a receipt for towels and clothing??? My claim should be reevaluated by someone with a little more understanding of personal items. Also the receipts that were provided for my hair tools were not even covered maybe only two items. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with how Lemonade re-victimized me, questioning my laundry I did that previous night that I left in the car. I should have gotten proper restitution. I would expect a call from upper management or corporate but I’m sure this company is not concerned about their clients.
