After our incident, we filed our claim the next day through the app and was relieved to receive a reply within the next day. Luckily we documented the incident well and this helped expedite our claims process and the ACH was processed the following day. I would highly recommend Lemonade.

Jacob was my claim expert. He sent me emails to keep me updated on my claim, he returned phone calls in a timely manner. He worked hard to get my claim resolved quick as possible and answered all questions and concerns. He was great!

After a series of unfortunate events following the collapse of my bathroom ceiling I filed a claim and had an excellent experience. Adam strong advocates for me even after many roadblocks. He had was empathetic with me when I was set up with a hotel in an unsafe location and continued to help me until I felt safe with the location choice. He continued to check in every week and had patience and was persistent even when my property management continuously ignored both mine and his calls over the course of weeks l. Adam was a light in this stressful experience and never made me feel like I was asking too much or being needy. He was great!

Katy who is the insurance claim specialist took care of me since day one I filed the claim. She responded to my emails, calls and offered help and answer to all my questions. She even called my landlord to discuss my situation because I had no answer, and my landlord had the information. The situation was handled in a quick time.

Filing a renters insurance claim was simple. The process was fine for the most part. I will say that the claims advocate could have been more empathetic. Answering calls from members with an attitude is extremely unprofessional. I definitely understand that the claims workload is very high currently (according to the answering machine). However, that’s not a reason to be rude when assisting your members.

Thanks to Lemonade, I can cover some of my property although theft was occurred to me. And Melinda, who is the person in charge of my case, have followed up my case kindly. I could not recover all of stolen items but I am somewhat satisfied with this. I felt like she was on my side. Thanks.

My claim was handled with great professionalism and clarity. The representative was kind, communicative, and helpful. I felt that my claim was taken seriously and that the representatives were doing everything they could to help me put the claim through and recover some of the value of my stolen bike. The communication was prompt, comprehensive, and generous. It took me some time to get all the appropriate materials for the claim, and the company was patient and helpful. I also didn't have a receipt for the item, and the company helped me find a way to still make the claim viable. Would recommend.

Adam was so incredibly helpful and a joy to talk to!! As a young adult I still struggle with a lot of things and have a lot of questions but Adam was able to help me answer all the questions I needed, and even threw in a joke or two (which was definitely appreciated during my circumstances.) The leak basically flooded my apartment and destroyed my things but he made sure to provide information and help me as best as he possibly could with getting my personal belongings replaced!! I would recommend Adam to any young adult who is having any issues like plumbing or fires with their apartment or house they are renting!!

The simplest company to sign up for, cheap, and actually pays claims out. A lot of cheap companies will make their product cheap but then won’t pay out claims on a technicality. Lemonade doesn’t do that. Great company.

Filing a claim was way easier and faster than I thought it would be. I worked with Alexis but also had to call the customer service line at one point and both experiences were great! AI Bob needs to allow access to your camera roll, though.

An absolute seamless experience with Lemonade and my agent Alejandro. They were so helpful and made this difficult time much more manageable. They were in constant contact with me and always made sure they were available to answer any questions I had. Easiest insurance I had to deal with!

Lemonade reimbursed us for temporary housing when our rental flooded and needed to be restored. The cost for temporary housing for one month basically ate up the entire LOU coverage limit but without that reimbursement, we would have been in major financial despair. On August 5, 2022 around 5:00 pm after work, I found water coming from the upstairs unit to my closet. All items inside my closet (clothing, luggage, files) are ruined. It has also a smile and I was very frustrated but thanks to my insurance lemonade and all the Lemonade Claims Team- special thanks to Sarah – They works so quickly and approved my claim immediately. I am now removed all damaged items from my closet, clean everything, and sleep well. So I strongly recommended having insurance for your apartment, home or car - lemonade

Erin helped with our insurance claim when our bike got stolen a few weeks ago. They did an excellent job expediting the review and helping us process the claim. They asked for additional documentation on an Airtag that was on the bike to corroborate the claim.

Our kitchen was having some issues like water damage and mold. Our claims adjuster Alexis was very helpful during the process. Our kitchen is going under reconstruction and we are very thankful for the help we are receiving from Lemonade.

Shad helped by clearly requesting the requirements and helped us get the claim approved. Great work and smooth process. I sent all the proof through email and Shad contacted the management to confirm the incident. It took less than a week to get the claim approved which is amazing and will be greatly helpful in such unprecedented times.

My bike was recently stolen along with numerous cycling accessories and I fully expected a long drawn out insurance claim process but was delighted to find out I could do it all through the app. Although it was a bit tedious to enter every single item and track down the relevant receipts, the Lemonade app made it super easy and when I submitted the final item, I got a message saying my claim had been approved! Really happy with the process. :)

My apartment flooded in late June/early July and Claudia was there to help me through all of the steps. She stayed on top of my case and was constantly checking in. Despite the lengthy process and having to switch agents, Christy was great! The communication was was very open and consistent once everything got rolling. Christy was very responsive, our emails were nearly like talking on the phone directly based off of how quick they were. I know I had a lot of things. The customer service phone options and wait time can improve. However my claim process overall was amazing! My claim rep Jonathan was the best and really was side by side with me due to Tempe PD delaying the claim. The claim may have taken longer than usual but Jonathan was very nice and prompt to answering all my questions. I think overall it was a fair claim settlement and everything about it was easy with Lemonade. Jonathan makes me want to continue renters or future whole policies with lemonade and maybe check out other products as well.

Had a good experience with Justice and the Lemonade team with this claim and the previous claim, helped us deal with building management and paid the claim on time to us and resolved the issue. Have been a Lemonade customer for a few years now and plan to continue.

While I eventually got all of my fire claim (renters insurance) paid to my satisfaction, it was a long and painful experience. The claims handler, Nekeyma, assigned to my claim was not responsive and requests had to be sent many times in order to have them reviewed. It wasn't until I started to email a "help" account that I got some attention on these items. The whole process seemed to be disorganized and unnecessarily difficult. As a company, I feel Lemonade was fair with my claim. I just didn't think my assigned claims person did a good job managing my claim.

My claim was easily submitted on the app and Ali was great to work with. We got the claim approved and resolved within days. I was so upset when I got personal property stolen and working with Lemonade made it better. I love Lemonade!

Extremely quick turnaround with a claim I had to file for a lost item.. The assigned representative for the case was very responsive and helpful. They made everything clear, easy to understand and were clearly there to help with any questions and concerns I had.

Always very easy and fast with getting claims approved and mobile experience is better than any other insurance provider I’ve ever dealt with by a mile. Policies are also very reasonably priced at $5-$10 per month with a $250 deductible (for renters insurance). 10/10!!

Lemonade made a horrible situation better. I came home from vacation to find my apartment had been burglarized. NOT how I wanted to end my vacation! After contacting police and figuring out all that was taken, I started my claim process through the Lemonade app. A few minutes later, I was done and my claim was approved the SAME DAY. I've always felt good about insuring with Lemonade for my Renter's Insurance needs. I just have enjoyed the attitude and feel like it's a good company with positive values. Then, I had a theft and needed to file a claim. Doing so took 15 minutes, was rational and appropriate and reasonable in scope and nature of the process, included capturing a video to explain what happened from my perspective, and then adding the stolen goods.

Bayley was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from submission of my claim to receiving payment. She was quick to respond and extremely helpful during what could have been a very scary and stressful process. Would recommend Lemonade to any renters as it has truly saved us from some very unfortunate expenses.

Updated on 08/05/2022: So after a theft occurred I filed a claim and updated my financial institution information. However Ali sent my payment to the absolute wrong bank account so I never got paid. The financial institution told her to send a request for the funds to be reversed and she never did. They told her join receiving the request they would the funds back that way she can send it to the correct account. I am LIVID. I am out of my belongings and was never paid for my claim.

We had a fire on May 21, 2022 & we didn’t receive money for damages until August 2, 2022. I can only imagine that this happened to a family that don’t have extra funds to live on and have to wait 8+ weeks for a settlement. However, when we had to get a hotel due to repainting, I sent the receipt over and was reimbursed the following day. Our adjuster, Nekeyma ** was not very helpful until other agents were assigned to assist with the case. I was told many times that he has been out of the office on vacation and that is why he wasn’t responding to my messages promptly. But, month long vacations? I would love to work for this company, if so. In conclusion, we did receive a fair refund. Lemonade Insurance is affordable, but expect long processing times.

Took extremely long to handle my claim went through two different claims. First time they couldn’t reach the property owner. Second time around the agent was away every other week so it took a while for my claim to even be processed because she’s always out the office. She was very helpful but the waiting game I did not like.

I paid specifically for insurance for my bike, and my bike when stolen was properly reimbursed, which is very nice. Insurance companies so often have a reputation for not paying out, so I'm glad my money actually mattered. The process was straightforward and non-confrontational.

I had stored appliances and furniture at a storage unit. I noticed several items were taken. I contacted the storage facility to let them know, which they insisted that someone I knew took the items, I knew it was no one I knew who took my things. The storage facility then let me know that the cameras weren’t working during the duration of my incident. I did get a police report and took a copy to them. Police contacted them but they also said they never got a phone call. I was very frustrated with this storage facility for not caring and trying to work with me. I then contacted Lemonade to file a claim. They were a great help in ensuring me they would help in any way they could. Johnathan was my advisor and did a wonderful job and was able to help me in getting something back since I wasn’t able to get my stolen items back. I definitely recommend Lemonade!

I never thought I would ever need to actually use my renters insurance but I recently had to due to a break in. At first I did not want to file the claim because it seemed like more of a hassle but Bayley made it super easy and she was compassionate. I just moved into an apartment with my family, wasn't told about sketchy people coming around due to previous residents. They stole our stuff, caught them on Ring, filed claim. I felt there was more AI/automated communication than personally being able to talk to someone. I would prefer the option to speak with a live representative when needed versus only being able to contact someone through the AI in the app.

My gas bill was skyrocketing. Up 500%. Tiles on my bathroom floor were discoloring. I had no explanation for any of it. I called the gas company and they came out and did an inspection. They told me there was no gas leak but they suspected a hot water pipe break under my bathroom floor. I immediately informed my property management company. Two days later, my water heater exploded and a hot water pipe broke flooding my bathroom floor. It was a mess. The apartment had to be "replumb'd" which meant the water would be turned off for days. The apartment was uninhabitable.

We had a water leak in our apartment while on vacation and we came to a house that was not in a livable condition. Middle of the night we had to move into a hotel and our pain started. Silver lining was our entire interaction with Stephanie from Lemonade who not only was patient and gave a listening ear but also very knowledgable and guided us well throughout the entire process. Through the entire close to 3 weeks of stress, Stephanie was literally the only person who kept us sane reminding us that we are in safe hands. Not only did she make us feel safe, she also made sure the process was as hassle free as possible. We couldn't appreciate and thank her enough for all the work she has done for us. Had a very good experience filing a claim. The representative was helpful and understanding. The police station I filed my report with was not being responsive and was very hard to reach. My claims specialist was proactive and reached out to the PD to try and hunt down my report. Very helpful.

I was sitting in my easy chair, texting my family and friends, letting them know that I had just found out I officially graduated. I called my mom to tell her the news, I had a strange feeling that something was wrong. I charged it to the fact that I had just got up from a nap about 10 or 15 minutes prior. I couldn't have been more wrong. I told my mom that I smelled barbecue, so I went outside and saw a little bit of smoke, and thought it was weird to be barbecuing on such a windy night. Recently I had water leakage and I lost almost all the items and when I claimed for them, I haven't received the 40% of my loss which is very dissatisfaction. I have a very good amount of property loss on my coverage and I'm not sure why I have that amount and when I'm not getting what I have coverage. I am completely unhappy with the way they approved my claim.

My husband's bike was stolen while we were both positive for Covid. We both felt horrible and didn't have the energy to deal with much of anything. I submitted the claim to Lemonade. That same day, I got a phone call from Alyssa. She was very friendly, empathetic, and efficient. She understood that I didn't have the energy to finish everything right then, so she sent me the information I needed by email, and I was able to submit the needed information on my own time. When I felt better and submitted the info a couple of weeks later, I got a response back almost immediately requesting my bank info so that they could cash out the payment. The claim itself was open for 21 days. But the majority of that was waiting on me to submit info because I was sick. I never had to use the service until I did then once I filed a claim after losing most of my xmas items to a flood I was steamed rolled by Lemonade and dropped as a client. Thanks for nothing. Then when asked why was I dropped after filing a claim was told oh my payment wasn't on time. Oh really then why didn't you drop me then and before that if that was the real cause. Your company suck and you're nothing but a scam.

I have very bad experience with the claim adjusters. He is not professional. He don't want to support the person how have suffered and homeless. They are sitting in well furnished Desks and treat the people just like animals. They don’t want to help the person and just moving around.

I had my camera lens additionally scheduled together with my camera for less than $3/month extra. I lost my lens hood while taking pictures in NYC. It took me 5 minutes to submit a claim through the app, and it took Lemonade 1 day and 1 phone call to get the claim approved. I got reimbursed directly to my bank account for the price of a new lens hood with tax included. If you’re a camera enthusiast/hobby photographer, I absolutely recommend getting a Lemonade policy instead of any sort of retail protection plans.
