Renters' Insurance is one of those things that I think I will never use, but over the 4th of July weekend, my rental car along with my luggage and backpack were stolen! It was a stressful evening dealing with the police and the car rental company. The following day I filed a claim via the Lemonade app on my iPhone for my personal belongings that were in the vehicle. Being the 4th of July weekend, I didn't hear from my claims advocate until Tuesday. Once I reached her, we got down to business. She walked me thru the process and I provided everything I could regarding my claim. It took a few days for me to gather all the documentation and submitted everything to her. It took almost 55 days, but my claim was approved. A lesson I learned from this is I now save EVERY receipt for everything I purchase - it helps when you need to file a claim. Thank you Lemonade!

Savannah was really helpful and resourceful during this whole process. She always made sure to keep me up to date and was very proactive at reaching out to me as well as the police station gathering the documents needed for helping me file this claim. I personally had a great experience and would definitely recommend to other friends!

They responded super quick, paid for my stay and my food for the whole week. I strongly recommend it. They helped when I needed them the most. I was out of my apartment for a whole week and they made it less stressful.

I was honestly not anticipating much of a response -- I have had bad experiences with insurance companies in the past. I am so happy to have been wrong! The entire Lemonade Team was awesome! We just moved to a new apartment and our bikes got stolen. I was very upset but the people at Lemonade made filing a claim easy. My only complaint is that I was bounced around a lot between people to get to our claims person, but everyone was polite. When they assigned us a claims person, Stephen was very thorough and made sure to update me through every step. I can't get our bikes back but it's nice to know renters insurance through Lemonade does what it's supposed to do and our stuff is protected.

I had a very complicated claim, which required numerous back-and-forths with various involved parties. The assisting Lemonade agent was patient, empathetic and resourceful throughout the whole process. It was a pleasure to work with her! I would definitely recommend Lemonade for anyone looking for renters insurance.

Lemonade has been great to work with, especially Kaleb. He arrived to be the best and he definitely achieved that in my book. I had my tool box and tools stolen out of the back of the truck. I notified Lemonade immediately, Kaleb reached out and said he was on the case. He reached out to the Midland PD and got ahold of the police report as well. They emailed me the next day and said that my payment was sent out and I should receive it in a few business days. Easy and no hassle is an understatement!! Thank you again Kaleb!!

After getting my Car broke into and someone stealing my kid's school shoes and clothes 2 days before school started and bills were due I had to file a claim and my specialist was very professional and worked quickly to get the matter resolved.

I can honestly say Lemonade is worth every dollar, my house was broke into right in the middle of me moving out of state, Bayley had me refunded for my stuff in 12 days and waived my deductible because my jewelry way exceeded what I was covered.

Kaleb was fast and responsive, and helped with my case in the best manner possible. Lemonade will make sure they do their best to help you during home invasions, break ins, and damaged or stolen goods. Overall I had a good experience with Kaleb and Lemonade and I pay $11.17 a month, which isn’t bad. I’d for sure recommend.

The refrigerator cost way more than the money you sent to replace it. I had a side by side that cost me 4700.00 to replace the same thing that was in my home. I will never tell people about Lemonade Insurance. It took over 47 days to get anything from you guys in the form of money. No I think that this lemonade company is crap. I had to keep my food in a few coolers. How fun. You people do not give two craps about the people you insure just the money you get each month. So keep your ** insurance.

Anytime you lose something it is very disturbing....I contacted Sasha Who thru the whole process was very professional and always kept in touch with me! Considering the circumstances I was Very pleased with how Sasha handled everything! 5 stars! Unfortunately my ring can not be replaced But at least I can find something I will like as a replacement.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I still haven’t received my stuff. I was told I would receive it one day and then the first team company calls back and says they haven’t received payment. I am having to be a go between in a process I shouldn’t be a part of. I just want my stuff and I will leave. Never will I deal with this again. This is bad business.

The Lemonade representative was very understanding and provided good and precise detail on the claim process and documents required. Initiating the claim was not as easy as it seemed. Knowing what information was pertinent to provide was not as obvious as it may seem. Perhaps giving examples or asking for specific information to be presented in the video would be helpful.

Christy was the shining light to a negative and violating Experience having my luggage stolen. She was not only compassionate, but extremely helpful and supportive in getting me paid back. I hope I never have to go through this again, but if I do, I’m sticking with Lemonade and christy! The first positive experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. Would 10000% recommend.

We have solicited these services for a bike theft case. We loved the whole process: rapidity, fluidity, responsiveness, and the little bonus was the extra care that Ali put into her work. In addition, there were no hidden terms and conditions as can sometimes be the case with insurance companies, which made us feel confident about the insurer - insured relationship. This was a very challenging claim for many reasons. I learned about the theft the day I went to my storage to find a few things for my father’s funeral. No amount money can compensate for my loss. Despite my despair, Deon remained professional, compassionate, kind and fair. These aren’t qualities I’d typically associate with the insurance industry. We submitted a claim and it was not processed automatically, Kaleb asked me for some type of supporting documents. I sent them, he reviewed the documents and called me for some final questions before approving the claim. Everything worked well!

This is my second claim with Lemonade and both have been pleasant experiences. The process is streamlined and simple to complete. Although it can be a little time consuming initially, Lemonade puts in some serious work to accommodate your needs. My claims specialist communicated well and addressed all my questions as they came along. The overall timeframe to complete the claim was about just under two months from the time it was submitted to the payout date. This is fair considering the research and calculations needed to be done by the claims team. I recommend Lemonade to anyone in need to insurance solutions.

I accidentally dented someone else's rental car while on vacation and paid the owner out of pocket. Lemonade ended up reimbursing me the $300 several months later, which was super helpful. The only reason it took so long was because the other party took several months to notarize the correct documents. Lemonade was helpful during the whole process.

My advocate was extremely rude from day 1, made smart remarks and chuckled when I was explaining my situation. There’s absolutely nothing funny about a mom & her 2 year old being displaced for a week and a half due to a ceiling leak. I was never put into a hotel and when I spoke with a supervisor he was very defensive and would not switch me advocates. Poor communication and I was confused during the whole process. I only received one call from my advocate and everything else was through email. Highly dissatisfied and definitely thinking about switching insurances.

What gives Lemonade? I am dealing with a very serious situation and you all will NOT get back to me. I am going to contact my other renter’s insurance to see if they can help (didn’t even know I had it, but glad I do because you all are not communicating whatsoever). I was told I received an email about an approved claim. The email DOES NOT EXIST.

After a series of unfortunate events following the collapse of my bathroom ceiling I filed a claim and had an excellent experience. Adam strong advocates for me even after many roadblocks. He had was empathetic with me when I was set up with a hotel in an unsafe location and continued to help me until I felt safe with the location choice. He continued to check in every week and had patience and was persistent even when my property management continuously ignored both mine and his calls over the course of weeks l. Adam was a light in this stressful experience and never made me feel like I was asking too much or being needy. He was great!

Katy who is the insurance claim specialist took care of me since day one I filed the claim. She responded to my emails, calls and offered help and answer to all my questions. She even called my landlord to discuss my situation because I had no answer, and my landlord had the information. The situation was handled in a quick time.

Filing a renters insurance claim was simple. The process was fine for the most part. I will say that the claims advocate could have been more empathetic. Answering calls from members with an attitude is extremely unprofessional. I definitely understand that the claims workload is very high currently (according to the answering machine). However, that’s not a reason to be rude when assisting your members.

Thanks to Lemonade, I can cover some of my property although theft was occurred to me. And Melinda, who is the person in charge of my case, have followed up my case kindly. I could not recover all of stolen items but I am somewhat satisfied with this. I felt like she was on my side. Thanks.

I felt that my claim was taken seriously and that the representatives were doing everything they could to help me put the claim through and recover some of the value of my stolen bike. I also didn't have a receipt for the item, and the company helped me find a way to still make the claim viable. Would recommend.

Adam was so incredibly helpful and a joy to talk to!! As a young adult I still struggle with a lot of things and have a lot of questions but Adam was able to help me answer all the questions I needed, and even threw in a joke or two (which was definitely appreciated during my circumstances.) The leak basically flooded my apartment and destroyed my things but he made sure to provide information and help me as best as he possibly could with getting my personal belongings replaced!! I would recommend Adam to any young adult who is having any issues like plumbing or fires with their apartment or house they are renting!!

The simplest company to sign up for, cheap, and actually pays claims out. A lot of cheap companies will make their product cheap but then won’t pay out claims on a technicality. Lemonade doesn’t do that. Great company.

Filing a claim was way easier and faster than I thought it would be. I worked with Alexis but also had to call the customer service line at one point and both experiences were great! AI Bob needs to allow access to your camera roll, though.

AI system - captures all queries and claim submissions without talking to a human and somehow gets all your questions answered. 3 business days - time it took to process a claim. Lemonade seriously belongs in one of caliber of one the most advanced customer experience engines in today’s day and age. Special shoutout to Sarah V. A member since 2018 and to a lifetime!

An absolute seamless experience with Lemonade and my agent Alejandro. They were so helpful and made this difficult time much more manageable. They were in constant contact with me and always made sure they were available to answer any questions I had. Easiest insurance I had to deal with!

Lemonade reimbursed us for temporary housing when our rental flooded and needed to be restored. The cost for temporary housing for one month basically ate up the entire LOU coverage limit but without that reimbursement, we would have been in major financial despair. On August 5, 2022 around 5:00 pm after work, I found water coming from the upstairs unit to my closet. All items inside my closet (clothing, luggage, files) are ruined. It has also a smile and I was very frustrated but thanks to my insurance lemonade and all the Lemonade Claims Team- special thanks to Sarah – They works so quickly and approved my claim immediately. I am now removed all damaged items from my closet, clean everything, and sleep well. So I strongly recommended having insurance for your apartment, home or car - lemonade

Erin helped with our insurance claim when our bike got stolen a few weeks ago. They did an excellent job expediting the review and helping us process the claim. They asked for additional documentation on an Airtag that was on the bike to corroborate the claim.

Our kitchen was having some issues like water damage and mold. Our claims adjuster Alexis was very helpful during the process. Our kitchen is going under reconstruction and we are very thankful for the help we are receiving from Lemonade.

Shad helped by clearly requesting the requirements and helped us get the claim approved. Great work and smooth process. I sent all the proof through email and Shad contacted the management to confirm the incident. It took less than a week to get the claim approved which is amazing and will be greatly helpful in such unprecedented times.

My bike was recently stolen along with numerous cycling accessories and I fully expected a long drawn out insurance claim process but was delighted to find out I could do it all through the app. Although it was a bit tedious to enter every single item and track down the relevant receipts, the Lemonade app made it super easy and when I submitted the final item, I got a message saying my claim had been approved! Really happy with the process. :)

I was absolutely devastated when my items were stolen out of my car.. I work hard for my belongings and it broke my heart to have them taken from me! My apartment flooded in late June/early July and Claudia was there to help me through all of the steps. She stayed on top of my case and was constantly checking in. I was very thankful for how quick the service was and how easy Claudia made it for me. Despite the lengthy process and having to switch agents, Christy was great! The communication was was very open and consistent once everything got rolling. Christy was very responsive, our emails were nearly like talking on the phone directly based off of how quick they were. I know I had a lot of things. The customer service phone options and wait time can improve. However my claim process overall was amazing! My claim rep Jonathan was the best and really was side by side with me due to Tempe PD delaying the claim. The claim may have taken longer than usual but Jonathan was very nice and prompt to answering all my questions. I think overall it was a fair claim settlement and everything about it was easy with Lemonade. Jonathan makes me want to continue renters or future whole policies with lemonade and maybe check out other products as well.

Had a good experience with Justice and the Lemonade team with this claim and the previous claim, helped us deal with building management and paid the claim on time to us and resolved the issue. Have been a Lemonade customer for a few years now and plan to continue.

While I eventually got all of my fire claim (renters insurance) paid to my satisfaction, it was a long and painful experience. The claims handler, Nekeyma, assigned to my claim was not responsive and requests had to be sent many times in order to have them reviewed. It wasn't until I started to email a "help" account that I got some attention on these items. The whole process seemed to be disorganized and unnecessarily difficult. As a company, I feel Lemonade was fair with my claim. I just didn't think my assigned claims person did a good job managing my claim.

My claim was easily submitted on the app and Ali was great to work with. We got the claim approved and resolved within days. I was so upset when I got personal property stolen and working with Lemonade made it better. I love Lemonade!

Extremely quick turnaround with a claim I had to file for a lost item.. The assigned representative for the case was very responsive and helpful. They made everything clear, easy to understand and were clearly there to help with any questions and concerns I had.

Dexter was prompt (2-3 days) in approving my claim once all the documents were submitted. He was clear in mentioning what all documents were required. I experienced a devastating house fire recently, lost nearly everything I owned. Lemonade and Clarissa made the whole experience fast, supportive, and seamless. I was covered with a hotel stay until finding new housing. Always very easy and fast with getting claims approved and mobile experience is better than any other insurance provider I’ve ever dealt with by a mile. Policies are also very reasonably priced at $5-$10 per month with a $250 deductible (for renters insurance). 10/10!!

Lemonade made a horrible situation better. I came home from vacation to find my apartment had been burglarized. NOT how I wanted to end my vacation! After contacting police and figuring out all that was taken, I started my claim process through the Lemonade app. A few minutes later, I was done and my claim was approved the SAME DAY. I paid a liiitle more for the $0 deductible option which proved to be a good move in a rough neighborhood.

She told me how to make a claim (it was my 1st one) using the LEMONADE app on my phone & that was also very easy to do. I was kept up to date on the progress of my claim & was very happy with the outcome. My claim was paid & the money deposited right to my bank account. LEMONADE insurance company exceeded my expectations & I highly recommend them.

I've always felt good about insuring with Lemonade for my Renter's Insurance needs. I just have enjoyed the attitude and feel like it's a good company with positive values. Then, I had a theft and needed to file a claim. Doing so took 15 minutes, was rational and appropriate and reasonable in scope and nature of the process, included capturing a video to explain what happened from my perspective, and then adding the stolen goods.

Bayley was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from submission of my claim to receiving payment. She was quick to respond and extremely helpful during what could have been a very scary and stressful process. Would recommend Lemonade to any renters as it has truly saved us from some very unfortunate expenses.

I signed up with Lemonade insurance a few years ago. I’ve moved and had some updates to my policy and Lemonade has always made it extremely easy to understand my policy. Updated on 08/05/2022: So after a theft occurred I filed a claim and updated my financial institution information. However Ali sent my payment to the absolute wrong bank account so I never got paid. The financial institution told her to send a request for the funds to be reversed and she never did. They told her join receiving the request they would the funds back that way she can send it to the correct account. I am LIVID. I am out of my belongings and was never paid for my claim.

We had a fire on May 21, 2022 & we didn’t receive money for damages until August 2, 2022. I can only imagine that this happened to a family that don’t have extra funds to live on and have to wait 8+ weeks for a settlement. However, when we had to get a hotel due to repainting, I sent the receipt over and was reimbursed the following day. Our adjuster, Nekeyma ** was not very helpful until other agents were assigned to assist with the case. I was told many times that he has been out of the office on vacation and that is why he wasn’t responding to my messages promptly. But, month long vacations? I would love to work for this company, if so. In conclusion, we did receive a fair refund. Lemonade Insurance is affordable, but expect long processing times.
