It was an extremely smooth process. Unfortunately, we had an incident, and Cassidy was working on my claim. The overall process was user-friendly. Cassidy kept us updated biweekly. She is fantastic, and communication was clear and just in time. I am happy to stay with Lemonade. I never thought we would use our insurance, but the Lemonade team exceeded all our expectations.

Lemonade was great! I had a minor disaster in my apartment as a water heater burst and my floor was flooded. The team was very easy to work with and got my claim resolved and reimbursed in a timely fashion. Sarah was very responsive and made an otherwise difficult situation very smooth.

Melinda made all this process very easy and simple, she explained every detail and every step clearly. A claim is usually very stressful but Melinda help and communication made it the whole process easy to handle. Thank you for all your help.

When Hurricane Ian news started, we knew danger was approaching. We lost power, water and Internet for 10 days. During that time we had no way to contact our family. It was a scary time, but we go through it. We then reached out to Lemonade for their insight. They helped us immediately. Tobias was wonderful and explained everything. Not only did I never realize that renter’s insurance covers stolen phones, but my experience with Lemonade was amazing! There was no going back and forth and waiting for approval and submitting endless additional documents, like I have needed to do with credit cards for things before. The process for submitting a claim was incredibly easy and faster than I expected, no waiting on the phone for hours was required! My very expensive Persian silk rugs were damaged beyond repair by a water leak, and this agent truly made sure to go above and beyond in helping me with my claim. I was very stressed out about all of it seeing as I was out of town when the water first entered my place, and DESTROYED two of the most valuable things I owned. She called me after I first filed, and from then on just about every day I was exchanging emails with her, and even though the insurance only reimbursed me for $10,000 which is not even 1/3 of the total valuation of my damages property, she did everything in her power to ensure that this process was the least stressful it could be for me…given the unforeseeable circumstances. 10/10 experience with Jackie and Lemonade.

Lemonade uses chat bots to quickly respond to claims and process other requests. If there’s a need for follow up, a email from an actual rep is soon to follow. They do a great job of explaining every detail but not overwhelming the client. Way to go Lemonade!

This was my first time ever having renters insurance so I really didn’t know much about my policy coverage but Lemonade help me understand and learn new things about what the policy really could do for people like me. I wanted to say the service was above and beyond expectations.

Lemonade is a great company and does well, but there are huge downfalls when it comes to the deductibles. Customer service was great though. They do all they can and work hard to help you. My assistant was very clear and sympathetic.

Jackie was also proactive in contacting and keeping in touch with the property manager of my apartment during this time. If I ever needed her services again, I would certainly ask for her and do recommend Jackie to anyone else.

Alex helped me with my claim in a very professional way (all additional information requested in one email so we don’t need to go back and forth) and addressed it very fast - I know the review process could be very long, but Alex managed to complete it in one month.

Great service. It took a few months to complete the claim; however, Lemonade was able to process the claim successfully. Great app service and email correspondence. Would give a 4.5 star, it did take 3 months to complete and had to cover upfront costs to rebuy the stolen items.

My experience with a lost property claim was mostly very smooth and my Lemonade agent, Jose, was responsive and respectful throughout. The process did take longer than I expected but the delays occurred on the side of both parties. Lemonade did take care of my claim to their “allowed limit” and were willing to waive my deductible to help compensate in part for the difference of my lost property replacement value.

Lauren was helpful to get something resolved, but Lemonade far below expectations with replacing my things and monies. Wanting receipts for things when everything is available online. Filed the claim in March or April, but got little monies in July or August.

Lauren was extremely helpful and responsive. With her help I was able to quickly get my documents arranged and have my claim submitted. She was very quick to respond to my calls and emails. I was somewhat anxious dealing with insurance but she assured me that everything was going to be taken care of.

Boarding an international train on my way to Amsterdam, I left my suitcase in a convenient luggage rack at the entrance of the car - and getting off in Amsterdam, I found to my dismay that my suitcase was no longer there. It clearly had been removed at an intermediary stop. Off to the police station to report the loss: "Yes, many thieves and pickpockets on those international trains". Laptop, watch, clothing, presents - vanished! Back in New York, I remembered my renters policy - my building had recommended a company called Lemonade. Had never heard of them, but signed on. Lemonade is great. The majority of claims are handled automatically and approved in seconds. More complex stuff is handled manually. While it takes longer to process they are very communicative during the entire process. Overall I have been very happy with Lemonade and have recommended to friends and family.

Lemonade has revolutionized insurance. I can't wait for Lemonade car insurance. I have been using Lemonade renters insurance and pet insurance, every claim was super quick and extremely efficient. If you don't like wasting time with traditional insurance, then this is the insurance for you!

Very smooth experience. Had a great experience overall. My case specialist was very efficient. Deposited refunds in a few days and was happy with the outcomes. There were some delays with Servpro, the contractor in charge of assessing the damages physically in the apartment. But other than that, very smooth. The outcome might depend on the case specialist as always, but mine was good.

Great experience, low costs. I've used Lemonade for three years now. Unfortunately had a claim this year, but they made it simple to process, and received reimbursement promptly. No hassles, good service and pricing. Coverage details were clearly understood, and low rates to add housemates.

I filed a claim about 7 months ago and it took you'll extremely long to contact me. You'll then sent a team out to my place and they took all of my belongings including clothes and shoes for my toddlers and I. I was left with nothing. No bedding or anything. I then had to come out of pocket for new items and requested to be refunded and the refund was approved. I received a letter from the First Team in Tulsa that is now trying to sue me, stating my insurance would not cover all of the items that were cleaned without me agreeing for them to be cleaned. I am missing a lot of my things and now I owe the First Team 1,500 dollars. I am not surprised that you’ll are being sued, and deserve every bit of it. Thanks for nothing. I've been using Lemonade for 2 years now, and it's been one of the best investments I've made! The service is great and the claims team member Jon I worked with was very responsive and helpful in helping resolve my claim for a broken camera lens. On Friday, August 26, 2022, while traveling from Chicago to Michigan for a family wedding, my vehicle was broken into while parked in a relatively busy parking lot in SE Michigan. The thief broke into my car’s back window and ransacked all of my personal belongings inside — including my work backpack (laptop/portable monitor/other electronics) as well as my travel carryon suitcase (expensive clothing / dress cloths / etc.).

I was very happy with the performance of Lemonade Insurance from the beginning, all the way thru the first and only claim. I probably would have given them 5 ✩✩✩✩✩, except a couple weeks after paying the claim, they sent me a cancellation message that read; “Regulators require insurance companies like us to follow strict guidelines when it comes to determining which properties we can cover. We are prohibited from insuring certain types of structures, like multi-unit properties, manufactured homes, mobile homes, boats, trailers, and farm houses. Unfortunately, based on those guidelines, we won't be able to renew our coverage for your property”.

I am extremely happy with the service and level of professionalism I received from Lemonade Insurance. The claims process was well communicated and felt like a guided process to make sure I was taken care of from start to finish. Extremely quick turn around!

Overall good experience, sometimes quick response but she ignored to reply for a month. I was asked the same question again for a few times. At the end, she helped me resolve this terrible incident but I think there were some room for improvement in customer service and communication.

I was moving to NYC from texas and my floor had damage. I couldn't move in to my apartment for almost a week. Lemonade put me in the same hotel I was staying during my move which made it easier for me to got work and check the apartment.

Claim filing was fast and easy. I was very satisfied with the results. The only thing I wish is that I had the option to type things in chat instead of just responding by clicking yes or no. That made it harder to explain my situation.

I submitted a claim for a stolen bike. The process took almost a month but claims representative was super communicating and understanding. It was a new experience for me but the Lemonade team reassured me a lot throughout the process.

Flooding sucks, Lemonade doesn’t! Insurance is annoying—they have to account for many different cases so forms are annoying, plus we only ever interact with those forms under unfortunate circumstances. In spite of all this, Lemonade agents and customer service were personable, compassionate, and efficient.
