Filling out information, uploading the documents, and submitting the claim on the app was so easy and stress free. It was a really trying and horrible event for me being robbed. And I was so grateful for Lemonade! It was all very self explanatory and thorough. There were many prions to upload the supporting information - documents, postures, videos, and images. You could even take the pictures right there in the app. Thank you!

The agent responsible for my claim was named Jackie. My very expensive Persian silk rugs were damaged beyond repair by a water leak, and this agent truly made sure to go above and beyond in helping me with my claim. I was very stressed out about all of it seeing as I was out of town when the water first entered my place, and DESTROYED two of the most valuable things I owned. She called me after I first filed, and from then on just about every day I was exchanging emails with her, and even though the insurance only reimbursed me for $10,000 which is not even 1/3 of the total valuation of my damages property, she did everything in her power to ensure that this process was the least stressful it could be for me…given the unforeseeable circumstances. 10/10 experience with Jackie and Lemonade.

Lemonade uses chat bots to quickly respond to claims and process other requests. If there’s a need for follow up, a email from an actual rep is soon to follow. They do a great job of explaining every detail but not overwhelming the client. Way to go Lemonade!

This was my first time ever having renters insurance so I really didn’t know much about my policy coverage but Lemonade help me understand and learn new things about what the policy really could do for people like me. I wanted to say the service was above and beyond expectations.

Lemonade is a great company and does well, but there are huge downfalls when it comes to the deductibles. Customer service was great though. They do all they can and work hard to help you. My assistant was very clear and sympathetic.

Jackie was also proactive in contacting and keeping in touch with the property manager of my apartment during this time. If I ever needed her services again, I would certainly ask for her and do recommend Jackie to anyone else.

Alex helped me with my claim in a very professional way (all additional information requested in one email so we don’t need to go back and forth) and addressed it very fast - I know the review process could be very long, but Alex managed to complete it in one month.

Great service. It took a few months to complete the claim; however, Lemonade was able to process the claim successfully. Great app service and email correspondence. Would give a 4.5 star, it did take 3 months to complete and had to cover upfront costs to rebuy the stolen items.

My experience with a lost property claim was mostly very smooth and my Lemonade agent, Jose, was responsive and respectful throughout. The process did take longer than I expected but the delays occurred on the side of both parties. Lemonade did take care of my claim to their “allowed limit” and were willing to waive my deductible to help compensate in part for the difference of my lost property replacement value.

I worked with Lauren and continue to work with Lauren regarding a stolen mattress and other items that were damaged. Lauren was helpful to get something resolved, but Lemonade far below expectations with replacing my things and monies. Wanting receipts for things when everything is available online. Filed the claim in March or April, but got little monies in July or August.

Lauren was extremely helpful and responsive. With her help I was able to quickly get my documents arranged and have my claim submitted. She was very quick to respond to my calls and emails. I was somewhat anxious dealing with insurance but she assured me that everything was going to be taken care of.

Boarding an international train on my way to Amsterdam, I left my suitcase in a convenient luggage rack at the entrance of the car - and getting off in Amsterdam, I found to my dismay that my suitcase was no longer there. It clearly had been removed at an intermediary stop. Off to the police station to report the loss: "Yes, many thieves and pickpockets on those international trains". Laptop, watch, clothing, presents - vanished! Back in New York, I remembered my renters policy - my building had recommended a company called Lemonade. Had never heard of them, but signed on. Lemonade is great. The majority of claims are handled automatically and approved in seconds. More complex stuff is handled manually. While it takes longer to process they are very communicative during the entire process. Overall I have been very happy with Lemonade and have recommended to friends and family.

I filed a claim about 7 months ago and it took you'll extremely long to contact me. You'll then sent a team out to my place and they took all of my belongings including clothes and shoes for my toddlers and I. I was left with nothing. No bedding or anything. I then had to come out of pocket for new items and requested to be refunded and the refund was approved. I received a letter from the First Team in Tulsa that is now trying to sue me, stating my insurance would not cover all of the items that were cleaned without me agreeing for them to be cleaned. I am missing a lot of my things and now I owe the First Team 1,500 dollars. I am not surprised that you’ll are being sued, and deserve every bit of it. Thanks for nothing. On Friday, August 26, 2022, while traveling from Chicago to Michigan for a family wedding, my vehicle was broken into while parked in a relatively busy parking lot in SE Michigan. The thief broke into my car’s back window and ransacked all of my personal belongings inside — including my work backpack (laptop/portable monitor/other electronics) as well as my travel carryon suitcase (expensive clothing / dress cloths / etc.).

I was very happy with the performance of Lemonade Insurance from the beginning, all the way thru the first and only claim. I probably would have given them 5 ✩✩✩✩✩, except a couple weeks after paying the claim, they sent me a cancellation message that read; “Regulators require insurance companies like us to follow strict guidelines when it comes to determining which properties we can cover. We are prohibited from insuring certain types of structures, like multi-unit properties, manufactured homes, mobile homes, boats, trailers, and farm houses. Unfortunately, based on those guidelines, we won't be able to renew our coverage for your property”.

I am extremely happy with the service and level of professionalism I received from Lemonade Insurance. The claims process was well communicated and felt like a guided process to make sure I was taken care of from start to finish. Extremely quick turn around!

Renters' Insurance is one of those things that I think I will never use, but over the 4th of July weekend, my rental car along with my luggage and backpack were stolen! It was a stressful evening dealing with the police and the car rental company. The following day I filed a claim via the Lemonade app on my iPhone for my personal belongings that were in the vehicle. Being the 4th of July weekend, I didn't hear from my claims advocate until Tuesday. Once I reached her, we got down to business. She walked me thru the process and I provided everything I could regarding my claim. It took a few days for me to gather all the documentation and submitted everything to her. It took almost 55 days, but my claim was approved. A lesson I learned from this is I now save EVERY receipt for everything I purchase - it helps when you need to file a claim. Thank you Lemonade!

My only complaint is that I was bounced around a lot between people to get to our claims person, but everyone was polite. The refrigerator cost way more than the money you sent to replace it. I had a side by side that cost me 4700.00 to replace the same thing that was in my home. I will never tell people about Lemonade Insurance. It took over 47 days to get anything from you guys in the form of money. No I think that this lemonade company is crap. My advocate was extremely rude from day 1, made smart remarks and chuckled when I was explaining my situation. There’s absolutely nothing funny about a mom & her 2 year old being displaced for a week and a half due to a ceiling leak. I was never put into a hotel and when I spoke with a supervisor he was very defensive and would not switch me advocates. Poor communication and I was confused during the whole process. I only received one call from my advocate and everything else was through email. Highly dissatisfied and definitely thinking about switching insurances.
