I know absolutely nothing about Renters Insurance so they had to hold my hand a lot through this process but my questions were answered respectfully and thoroughly! There was a slight delay in some communications but overall 10/10 experience with Lemonade on my first ever claim!

Julia stuck with this long process for 6+ months and kept on our former broker to get him to sign off on the release. She was patient, kind, and was always was very responsive. I can't thank her enough for all she did for us!

I'm always skeptical when buying insurance, as I just assume the company will find ways to screw you over... but not with Lemonade!!! Cassidy was so helpful and if anything acted with urgency to make sure my claim was processed and paid out. I highly recommend Lemonade!

Very easy to work with. John was always available to answer my questions and concerns. This was rough dealing with this and staying in a hotel but it was nothing we had to handle. I always recommend this company for insurance needs.

I had valuable stuff stolen from me and my Lemonade renters insurance really made a sour situation bittersweet. Seconds after making a claim it was approved and the funds appeared in my account the next morning. I'm in shock because I figured I would have to wait a few days, be interrogated by some claim rep and put up a fight to receive the service I'm paying for but nope. Only thing that would make this better is if they found my stolen stuff but at least I don't have added stress and time lost that we're so accustomed to with other types of insurance. I made my mom get this insurance so I guess I highly recommend it.

I submitted my claim through the Lemonade app, which was very user-friendly and had an AI representative walk me through the steps. After submission, a human claims agent (Thalia) reached out to me by phone and followed up via email. Thalia was communicative; understanding, and professional. She processed and approved my reimbursement within 24 hours of me providing receipts. I got my entire relocation expense (both moving company fees and packing costs) covered by Lemonade. I would recommend Lemonade to other renters.

Outstandingly fast experience. Equipped with proper documentation (police report, receipts and proof of ownership), the process only took me about 10 from start to finish. Transfer of monetary loss was extremely fast as well, I really did not know what to expect. Great experience.

They wouldn’t send someone out when my house flooded. My family and I was relocated. My furniture was damaged. They wanted pictures. By then the sofa had dried. I just had him remove it from the claim. Now I’m left to buy another sofa. I will find another renters insurance company. It’s not worth it at all.

It’s an upsetting experience to be a victim of a crime, but the Lemonade experience was a more uplifting one. The claim process was straightforward. It can get tedious applying on a phone, but just make sure you can gather as much as you can when applying through the app. And remember you can complete the rest via email and with a friendly and efficient representative by phone. I thought this company was legit at first. But since filing an insurance claim I've been avoided, run around, switched reps. Every time I speak to them when I'm told one is handling claim, another is assigned the next time. Adjuster made appointment with me and left me waiting at apt for over 2 hours and never contacted me to say she wasn't coming. The negligent apts we lived in that caused all our stuff to be ruined told Lemonade that there was no damage, when almost everything was destroyed or stolen while we were gone, due to flooding. It's been months now and I'm just ignored in spite of fact I was told claim was approved.

I don't have one nice thing to say about Nekeyma honestly, except after much badgering and calling 1-2 a day for 6-7 weeks I finally got my full claim amount, probably because management wanted to get it resolved as to not obliterate KPIs. I really do blame his inability to craft a legible and professional email and inconsistency in follow ups for a lot of stress in my life. He also has no idea what he is doing. I wish Abbey or someone more knowledgeable could have handled my claim, she was great. It's clear that because of my low rates and value of goods that I was put with a VERY junior person who lacked basic customer service skills that you get at any service oriented business. The vendors, like ALE, that I was placed with were 1 million miles better.

The agent assigned to my claim was friendly and responsive. My claim was processed very quickly and the funds were transferred very quickly as well. It was a great experience, plan to continue using Lemonade myself, and would recommend Lemonade to my friends.

Got charge 500 deductible and did not cause the incident. Stephanie was rude most of the time and didn’t have the experience. I have to pay out of pocket for most of my things that got damaged as the insurance kept the deductible. Not nice!!!

That app was glitchy when filing my claim. I had to google to find an actual number to get help. Then a representative filed a second claim instead of helping me with the one I started. After, Stephanie my claims rep did NOT CALL ME ONCE. I received an email today. Over a month later asking for a survey and telling me I just received a claim approved email…. I did NOT GET AN EMAIL. No one came to look at my unit. No one sent me a check. Now one replaced my things. No one contacted Me.

It would be good to make e-bike with throttle coverage restriction was more upfront. The documentation mentions "certain classes" of e-bikes without going into detail. I went back and forth for months with a crooked property management and my rep Stephanie didn't help or make me feel like she even cared. She was impossible to reach. Didn't do her homework and didn't fulfill my claim properly. She removed my loss of use which caused me and my kids to homeless because she said she was told the property was sold but I paid for deed and sales data to determine the property hasn't been sold. Property management lied to offset my claim. Thanks for nothing.

In summary, renters insurance companies are well known to do everything possible to pay the lowest amount (or flat out deny) whenever possible. Lemonade was unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLE! I hate my experience with Cam, and Lemonade. I feel like because of Natural Disasters and things that have nothing to do with me, I was treated very unfairly. My apartment flooded with sewer water, literally the entire apartment. Cam did supply me with outside vendors to account for my damaged items, and to clean damaged items. Originally someone was supposed to came to my unit to check out damage and go over everything that I submitted receipts for, but because of covid and I believe a hurricane in another state (that’s what he said) I was scheduled to do a virtual call that took a long while to schedule to account for my damaged goods.

The first "advocate" I had for my claim quit or was fired and nobody answered my emails for over a month. I had to call multiple times to get any sort of response. Even after a new advocate was assigned to my account I would still have to follow up multiple times over email to just get a response. It took 5 months for me to FINALLY receive my claim. Made the entire experience of my robbery even worse.
