I like the refrigerator but the doors and the freezer door are damaged. I had the company that Viking uses come out May 4th. I called them and they still do not have a time on when the refrigerator door and the freezer door will be replaced. Also, the bottom part of the stove was damaged. So, I'm not pleased. I did not expect products of that quality and cost to arrive damaged. The other issue I have is that their plastic covering is horrendous to come off. They need to do something better about that especially when people have issues with their hands. I still have plastic on it, in the corners and underneath. People should not accept the refrigerator unless it's totally perfect and they have to take all the plastic off to make sure it was perfect.

I was going through my documents when I purchased from Viking and I’m trying to figure out the process because I need the refrigerator to be fixed. For six months, it has been working well. However, for the past two months, it’s freezing the fruit even in the refrigerator. I tried to change the settings, but it doesn't change. Overall, I like the refrigerator. My daughter has the sets of Viking in two houses. I got the good feedback from them, which was why I decided to purchase. The dishwasher and the hood are working fine and I would recommend it. But I’m not sure about the refrigerators because I started to look up reviews online and it looks like that it's a common problem about the temperature of the refrigerator. So, I'm not sure what the problem is with mine.

The layout of the Viking refrigerator was what we liked the best although we had to contact the installer because they there was something wrong with the handles that were not working correctly or loose. They didn't make it back and I ended up fixing it myself. Also, the layout of the icemaker could use some refinement because when we pull the drawer open, the way that it comes out, the ice mechanism always hits the ice and ice cubes fall on the floor.

We have the whole Viking suite in our kitchen for 16 years and it's built really sturdy. We have two refrigerators, two dishwashers, three ovens, the microwave, and the range top with the downdraft. The size of the refrigerator works really well, the space inside of it is great. We use one for all food and the other one is a beverage refrigerator. I use Executive Appliances for all my services. It's easy to get parts. It's easy to get things fixed. Viking is the best you can get out there. I recommend it to anybody who's going to do a kitchen suite. It's better to have everything that's the same and all of the components go well together.

This brings us great joy knowing the quality of our products and service is in such high regard. Thank you for your comments.

I like my Viking refrigerator. It's a good-quality refrigerator. When it got delivered, there was a piece of plastic wrapped around the motor inside of it. There was no problem getting someone out here to work on it. They came out really quick. Also, whenever I had an issue with it, I went online and I was helped out and pointed in the right direction very quickly.

The Viking refrigerator is less than a year old, but it's had more than a few issues. The refrigerator froze itself up and needed a week to thaw out. Then it's been up and running for a week. Now, the icemaker isn't working. So, for the second time in two weeks, I needed to have a repair guy come out here to repair an $11,000 refrigerator. The Viking team has been great though. But I wouldn't buy their refrigerator again.

I still haven't installed my Viking refrigerator. I've had the most horrible experience I've ever had with anything in my life. The first time I plugged the freezer in, it did not freeze. The compressor won't kick on. I've been trying since April to get an inverter board for it that the service people said is bad, and I keep getting the runaround. They don't know when they'll get it or won't even tell me if they can get it. The representatives are very nice but useless. I will tell everybody about the poor quality of Viking and then the poor service to get something done about it.

I didn't like that the Viking refrigerator that I had was difficult to defrost. I also had to call customer service because the refrigerator's light was not working and somebody said that the motherboard was not working. So, there were three times that they came and changed, and then they replaced the fridge altogether. The technicians were fine, but it took me a long time. I got the refrigerator in February, and finally, the replacement came and happened in April. Still, overall, I'm satisfied with Viking.

The house that my wife and I bought in 2016 has Viking appliances in the kitchen. The refrigerator was a 2012 model that was installed and purchased in 2013, so we were a little disappointed that it released all the Freon and was unrepairable by 2021. We're disappointed that though the Viking Refrigerator that we had to get fit in the space for the one that we had without having to redo cabinets, it no longer has a water dispenser in the door. That was a big letdown.
We also had to replace the door seal on a dishwasher and Viking had stopped making replacement parts for it. We ended up replacing the entire dishwasher. The repair service is a real pain in Connecticut because there's only one authorized company. To get them out to actually look at our refrigerator, even on an emergency basis, was a matter of weeks.

I have a Wolf grill and a Heartland stove. I have very high-end appliances in my home and the Viking fridge is a dog. When the reps brought it out here, they scratched my floor. Then, the door handles had a dent in them, which took six weeks to get fixed. Aside from that, the ice maker wasn't working and when they came out, they told us the motherboard was fried. It was a brand-new $11,000 refrigerator and the motherboard was fried. And the repairman said that happens a lot. So, I'm not happy with it. I had a Sub-Zero for 21 years and it never gave me a problem. Viking has been nothing but problems. It's loud and when the motor goes on, I hear it.

The refrigerator is beautiful and I love it. But the frame of the refrigerator is torqued and it won't seal, so water condensation builds. Viking already knows about it and they plan to replace the refrigerator in October. Each time I reached out to Viking, the response was prompt and helpful. But Viking never took the lead on ensuring that the appliance challenges were resolved. I had the lead the entire time and I had to reinitiate multiple times a resolution to the problem. I gave this feedback to the service manager in a helpful way. Somebody needed to follow up with me about whether the problem was fixed or not rather than relying upon me to follow up with Viking. Also, Viking should double down on their QA efforts at their plants at this point in time because there were three things wrong with the refrigerator, one of them being so structurally wrong that it's irreparable.

The Viking refrigerator has good storage capacity. The illumination is good and I have an ice maker hooked up on. It's quiet. However, I've had two power failures and the refrigerator defaulted. The question I was trying to get with engineers is if it defaults, does that mean that it quits cooling? But I never got an engineer to answer me any questions and a sales rep didn't even know.

I like the look and size of my Viking Refrigerator. It works well in keeping my stuff cold. However, it leaks at the bottom and inside. I've been with Viking back and forth numerous times. They've had three different service people come to my house and they don't know how to repair it. I'm waiting to hear back from them because I want my refrigerator replaced. It's rusted, it has discoloration, and the inside parts, God only knows what they look like. My floor is warped and I've had to stick Bounty paper towels under my refrigerator to absorb the water that pours out. It's been hellish and months upon months have gone by and Viking still has not addressed the issue. They have barely contacted me. I'm highly dissatisfied with them.

I'm a chef instructor and Viking is among the top brands. My choice was between Viking and Wolf, and Viking, hands down, won out, certainly among all my colleagues. Viking was also offering awesome sales that I felt I needed to take advantage of because I also needed a microwave. However, going through the purchase was absolutely horrific. My biggest mistake was that I went through an online retailer, Appliances Connection, instead of going through someone local. They were offering, at the time, the best price but they were miserable. They were really good at taking my money.
It took several months for everything to be in stock. When the delivery was scheduled, they were supposed to give me warning but they did not and I had to rush home from work. I'm a teacher so I had to have somebody cover my class because they called and said they were going to be at my house in 10 minutes. It was absolutely ridiculous. We were told that we would have their "white glove service", which means putting the appliances in place and installing it but they did none of that. They left all of that plastic on that the refrigerator comes delivered with which was excruciating to get off. It took my husband and I about two hours to get all that plastic off.
The biggest problem that we still have to this day is the fact that we can't get the refrigerator leveled. The bottom freezer door sometimes closes but sometimes it doesn't. If we don't shove that door in, it will sit ajar and I'm very frustrated by that. I get that all of these French door refrigerators are persnickety in a way, but I expected more from Viking. I called Appliances Connection and they said they'd refund me the installation fee. But they didn't do that and it doesn't solve the problem. I had sent a message through Viking's online service several months ago but I never heard back from that. I finally had some time where I could stay on the phone and got through to Viking. I was told to call a number and they'd take care of it. I called the number and the woman was very nice. She said I'd be hearing from somebody in a week to 10 days but I never did hear from anybody.
I still have a refrigerator that I would like to love very much but I'm not loving it so much right now. I would love to hear from somebody from Viking because I'm not a happy customer. If their representative had done what they were supposed to do, it probably would never have gone back to Viking. But I don't think Viking's done a good job of having a proper network in place to make sure that customers get taken care of. These are not cheap products. I can get a crappy appliance and crummy service by going anywhere. Between the pieces that I got, I spent close to $12,000. That's a lot of money. But I would still buy Viking products because they're a leading brand in the industry, they have a good warranty and I love the way they look.

Updated on 10/27/2021: I bought my Viking refrigerator on october 2020 from Mr. Jay Appliance but I received it on February 2021. Since February, the refrigerator's door was imbalanced and inside the refrigerator was warm. I called them and the company sent a technician to solve the problem. They keep sending the technician for 7 times during 8 months to my house to solve the different problems and still they couldn't fix it. I keep telling them that this refrigerator has to change but they don't listen to me and as a customer, I can not use the refrigerator.
Original Review: This is the worst refrigerator that I've ever purchased. We ordered all of our Viking appliances while our kitchen was being remodeled. It arrived on February of this year, when our new kitchen remodel was finished. After delivery, I saw that the refrigerator doors were not parallel to each other. From then on I kept on calling them so they could fix it. They finally fixed it but then again the freezer started frosting very badly. So I called them again, after 2 weeks I received the new part and they finally came and installed a new part for freezer. So now my refrigerator started frosting again. I keep telling them that this refrigerator needs to be exchanged but they just keep sending me a technician to come fix it. They can't. I made a big mistake getting the Viking refrigerator.

I purchased a whole set of Viking from Nebraska Furniture Mart. We had a bit of an issue with the purchase. We ordered it new and did the installation ourselves. The very next morning, the refrigerator quit working. We called Viking to see what the code was that it was throwing and they said that the computer was not connecting. They said that they would send a tech out right away but we were like, "Nope". We went back to Nebraska Furniture Mart and had them order a new one. It took us about six weeks to get everything else in. I love the look of the Viking set. Everyone looks and says, "Oh, you have Viking."

The Viking we got is not as good as Viking used to be. We've already had an issue where they had to replace all of the doors on it because when it arrived, it had this look to it where the doors were warped and dented. Also, the emblem was put on crooked so they had to send us new emblems. Other than that, it works fine. They were good about sending a replacement out. They had me talk to a local appliance person and it went very easily.

My Viking Refrigerator seems pretty high quality and well-built. I'm impressed by the aesthetics and how it fits its space. The other feature was a light that turns on and off slowly. It's nice to have a little touch. But, getting it delivered was a huge pain. We told them specifically that we have a driveway that's not going to fit a large truck. They showed up with a semi-truck and they had no way to unload the refrigerator. Three weeks later, they came back with another truck. It took several tries to get the delivery right.

I like the looks of the Viking appliances and my husband got a good deal on them. The refrigerator's good though it's a little smaller than I thought it would be. The range, unfortunately, hasn't been working very well, so I've had to call the service a few times. It was good as well, but the burners keep clicking and you just don't expect that from the price point. Aside from that, their servicemen weren't very helpful. When they first came, they didn't fix the problem. And the second one said that he was going to fix it, but then said he was going to call back and hasn't. Also, the range takes a very long time to preheat and get to the right temperature. I had a Miele in my former house and it did the same thing. And the technician said that that's just the way it is when he fixed that one. And they said the same thing about the Viking one. All in all, Viking's products are probably good and we just got one that's not working 100%.

Purchased top of the line Viking fridge for 10K 3 years ago and about 9 months after purchase the crisper drawers were collapsing down onto the bottom shelf of the refrigerator making about half the fridge unusable. Viking sent out their service company and changed the middle shelf which the crisper drawers hang from and changed the slider brackets. Worked fine for about 3-4 months and then the same thing happened again. Viking came out and changed the parts again with exactly the same type of parts. Worked fine for about 4-5 months and then the drawers started collapsing down again when you would open a drawer. Well this went on for 3 more additional services and I think at about the 3rd or fourth service Viking said the fridge was out of warranty! LOL!
I informed them that you can't replace defective parts with the same exact defective parts until the warranty runs out and then say the fridge is out of warranty. So they sent a repair company back out who charged me $149.00 to look at the crisper drawers laying at the bottom of the fridge and said yep they're broke and left. Then they sent a different service company out and they changed the parts again and again it failed after several months.
So I decided to take matters into my own hands and I rigged a plastic spacer and thick brass washer behind the middle shelf to kind of wedge the crisper drawers in place. That has held up but was only suppose to be a temporary fix until Viking came up with a permanent solution. Kim from Middlebery that owns the Viking brand said they are working on it, that was back in February and now it's radio silence 3 months later. Kim asked me at that time do I want them to come out and fix the shelf till the engineers come up with a solution. I said no my Rig is working so far and no sense having Viking come out and waste both our time and money installing more defective parts. Well no good deed goes unpunished cause it looks like I'm stuck with my fancy refrigerator being rigged up so that it's functional. And oh by the way the crisper drawers are now all cracked and the sliders broken from falling down so many times.
This is frustrating, embarrassing and not right, to spend ten thousand dollars on what's suppose to be a superior brand and have it fall apart and get no company support! Our KitchenAid fridge lasted 20 years and we could have bought the exact replacement for 2 k less! But we wanted to upgrade but instead got a tremendous downgrade. If you want a built in stick with Sub Zero. That's why my son in law Vince The Builder only uses Sub Zero in his multi multi million dollar homes he builds. He will soon be doing a video of my fridge for his 200K instagram followers to show his clients why he won't use Viking appliances. I hope this saves the next person from going thru the same ordeal as me.

For my kitchen renovation, my design company that they use, Ferguson's and the chain of them here in the southeast, the only ones they had everything in stock was Viking. And when I purchased the stove, I got a free dishwasher. Headquarters had to call a lot and I had to have people here all the time. They were really concerned. When you open the fridge, the drawer to pull out, which is cold and you can keep cheese and meats in it, I cut my fingers and they were concerned and had headquarters call. And then, the repair people -- everything was free -- coming out all the time from Fort Myers. The guy called it metal burrs that haven't been sanded down. That was quite a worry. They called me from Mississippi. It's very rare and it just wasn't finished. And depending where you place your fingers, you could cut them on metal to open that inside drawer. So, that was a bad experience.
Also, the freezer didn't shut properly and the tech had come out several times. It was the most finite adjustment on something. But I could have lost a couple of hundred bucks worth of food because the alarm kept going off. And he came and fixed it, and an hour and a half later, the alarm went off again. He thought he fixed it. So, it was really challenging for the Morale in Fort Myers to contract repair people with Viking here in this area. That was maddening. And then, the dishwasher, an extra button for quietness fell right off on the floor, and it was a glue problem. The Morale had to come again.
It's free for me under warranty. It just was disconcerting and all the appliances were brand-new. I heard him talk to headquarters and he said, "Yes it's a glue issue." And he said, "No, I can't reuse it. It's covered in labrador fur and cat hair," which as soon as it started to hang out and the labrador would walk against it and it hung down from the bottom. It didn't seem to make much difference in the quietness. It's an incredibly quiet dishwasher anyway. But they had to order a new one, so that took a while, and they had to come back and put that in. That was a surprise, all that happened right away. But everything got fixed and I've been very pleased since. It's a super quiet dishwasher and I like the red light that shines on the floor that shows when it's on.
And then, all the new fridges, all brands, the alarm for the freezer and different ways to adjust the temperature of that meat drawer and the freezer. And then, I like the microwave. It's so nice and simple. There were higher-end ones with the convection fan in the microwave, and I got simplest because I picked over the stove with the vent pan under the microwave. The way my kitchen was designed, it seemed the best route rather than a hood.
The stove is unbelievable. This induction stove is the best thing in the planet. I heard good things about them and everybody I know who's renovating was getting new appliances, and new stoves are getting induction, and we're just in shock about it was the fastest we've ever seen to boil water or cook. So safe, the way the magnetic field isn't hot. The oven is incredibly fast too. It's interesting. You don't have to preheat at all.
The fix-it guy is a surprise too. He was fabulous, a longtime veteran and knows all his Vikings, and he was stunned. He was so puzzled about the freezer not closing. He thought of it truly as a challenge, a puzzle he had to solve. Because when he thought he fixed it, just 90 minutes later, it broke again. So truly, puzzled, and worked on the phone a long time with Viking in Mississippi and tried to solve it. It was the most infinitesimal thing, some tiny adjustment of a gear in the bottom drawer of the freeze. One tiny little gear off compared to the other side and it meant it couldn't close completely, and then it couldn't stay cold.
That was his first time ever had to have that. Also, the button that fell off, he was also puzzled. We couldn't figure out where it fell off from. Just one day, I was just looking, and I'd hardly had the dishwasher, and there it was hanging down the bottom, then it came completely off, and I called him up. When he came, "You sure that came from this?" He figured out where it was, couldn't save the old one or the new one, and it took a while to come. But ever since, things have been okay.

It looks like a solid and quality refrigerator. But we've had some issues in terms of not cooling consistently. Some areas are too cold and other areas are not that cold. Finding service has not been easy. There's a list of certified vendors, but it's not as easy. It's not like you call some of the other more regular appliances, like you call up Home Depot and then somebody comes and fixes it. I was looking for refrigeration, and I was doing renovations. I went online. I had wanted to upgrade from what I currently had, which was the JennAir Professional Series. I wanted something on the Wolf or Viking line. I did not go with Wolf because I could not afford the Sub-Zero Refrigerator. So, I decided to go with Viking. I looked at the reviews. I had ordered it from an appliance shop. Then I went to Ferguson Showroom to see what it looked like because the appliance shop didn't have a display. I knew it was looking like what I wanted it to look like.
When I went to Ferguson, they didn't have any Viking on their floor. The salesperson said, “You know what, Latrina, I wish you would have came to us first because our customers had so many problems with Viking. We had to take it off our floor as display items.” I said, “Well, frankly, I won't have these problems.” So, I got the product. But I couldn't have the contractors in because of COVID, so I had the products here for a while. So, they installed them, and now it's about the eighth month. My microwave already went out. The refrigerator handles are not so nice. The guy who came and fixed the microwave also had to tighten up the handles. At the top of the refrigerator shelf, you can set it to different levels. At the very top, it’s freezing my food. I can't set it to go any lower than the level that it’s at. Viking needs to revamp.

The first Viking refrigerator that was delivered off of the truck was dirty. The seams were split and the logo on the front was crooked. The truck people looked it over after taking the plastic off and put it right back on the truck. They rejected it before I did. It was 10 days until I got a new one and the second one has been good so far. We like it but I have one minor complaint. I have to turn off the ice maker because if I let it fill completely, opening the freezer drawer will knock a bunch of ice on the floor. We're very happy with it. It hasn't broken like my LG did. But, it would have been nice if it was a bit larger in cubic feet size. Also, the ice maker design could have been improved a little bit. I had some repairmen coming to repair our Viking fridge. They were going to replace the compressor. Then they pulled it out and they realized they couldn't. They had to turn it on the side to replace it based on how it was built. There was something in the back that made it difficult to repair the compressor with upright standing. So, I called Viking and spoke to an engineer and they were very helpful. He said, “That is correct. When the power goes out, it's so easy to reset it.
My experience with Ferguson which sold me the refrigerator was not great, though. I told the guy who delivered it, “The light in the freezer doesn't work. You shouldn't leave unless you can make it work.” He told me, "You're gonna have to call service for that.” I was not happy with that service but the service guy who came out was great. I bought a refrigerator and I feel very good about it. The dishwasher which came with the refrigerator was kind of faulty so we had to change that off. Viking promised us when we bought them that there was a 10% cash back but we haven't received that cash back yet. Also, my fridge got delivered in three months. It did not come at a reasonable time when it was supposed to come and it was difficult to chase anybody. Viking could be better in communicating things. Some of the shops I went to gave me heads up not to buy Viking as it will take months to get the fridge. I still wanted to go with Viking because I heard good things about it. We like the product quality and the product themselves for now.

Up until it broke, I was quite happy with my Viking refrigerator. But it broke in November (the evaporator failed - still under warranty). A service company came, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part December 5. Today it is March 10. In February the appliance repair company called Viking and they were told the part would come in February 26 and that it would be sent out by overnight air when it arrived. February 26 came and went. No word.
Yesterday I called Viking and spoke to a customer service rep who took my info and told me someone would call me back. No one called. Today I called and spoke to a different customer service rep and was told that there is no expected arrival time of these parts to the Viking factory. I was told some people are waiting 6 months or a year. I'm sorry but I call BS on that.
Here's the thing: This is a popular model of refrigerator. Clearly they must be getting these parts at the factory and installing them in new product to be sold while ignoring current customers like me. Not only is this bad business, I believe it is dishonest when they tell me that none of these parts have come in. I'm kind of an in internet guy. This is the first review of this situation that I have left. There will be more. Viking is making a mistake. If they rectify it I will come back and modify this review. But don't hold your breath. And if you want your food cold, definitely consider what might happen if your Viking refrigerator stops working.

We went out and looked at a lot of different specialty shops and we were looking for high-end appliances. We came to really enjoy and like the way the Viking refrigerator looked and we decided to purchase one. The quality seems fantastic. We've had one little bump in the road where it wasn't defrosting properly in the freezer and they sent a tech out. Not only was the guy very knowledgeable, but more impressive than anything was that he had the broken parts on his truck. 9 out of 10 times when we ever have somebody come out to fix any appliance, it's always a miracle, no matter what breaks, they never have it on the truck. So this guy knew exactly what he was doing and he was effective. He was in and out in 45 minutes.
But I didn't realize until we got the refrigerator home and the wife and I looked at it that it wasn't quite as deep as we thought it was going to be when we saw it on the showroom, from a standpoint of inside the refrigerator. But maybe they have one of the deeper models. Other than that, it's a beautiful piece of almost like furniture, especially the lighting inside of it, which is fantastic. And it's easy access for everything, so nothing but praise to the unit so far. I have also many times recommended Viking to a friend.

The sales part was absolutely a pleasure. I bought the Viking appliances at a great store which has all the high-end stuff. For some reason, I picked Viking because I have heard of it in the past. I didn't know any of the other names but I looked at everything. I liked the oven probably because my wife is short and the way the door opened and the way she could access the oven was probably the only oven that was like that. So, we purchased it. We knew that Viking was a good name, which was why we purchased all the rest of the appliances to match. Every appliance in my kitchen is Viking and I’m very unhappy that every piece came with some kind of damage. The refrigerator door never opened correctly and the cooktop has a little blemish on the front of it in the face panel. But I have no problems with the top and bottom oven. That's been great.
The refrigerator was less than a year old and it has been having a problem with the LED lighting. They have been going out so I called for service. They sent somebody who came completely unprofessional and scratched the inside of my refrigerator with a pick trying to get the light out. The whole inside of the refrigerator is powder-coated and it is not replaceable. The service guy spent two hours there and never fixed it. I called complaining that he made a mess out of my refrigerator. He said that with everything that's going on in the world, there are worse problems in life than a scratch inside my refrigerator. This is a $12,000 refrigerator. After about two months later, he finally came and replaced the burnt-out LED lights that were in it and he touched up the scratch.

The quality of the Viking refrigerator is good and the performance is great. However, the functioning of the doors is not good which might have been due to the installation. The center tab of the door doesn’t match correctly. It slams into the other door. The clearance there is just off sixteenths of an inch. Any weight that you put on the door would make that clearance such that that tab will pop out again then you end up closing the door and slamming the other door so you can close it. I called different people who are Viking certified to look at it three times but they couldn't fix it. I don't know if this door issue is a manufacturing issue or an installation issue. I have another cheap refrigerator for 600 bucks and that works a lot better when it comes to doors and functionality.

We’re on our second Viking refrigerator because the first one failed after approximately eight years. The newer refrigerator which we got last year is operating great. It has not had the same problems at this point but having to replace a Viking after eight years, I've never had that kind of circumstance with any other refrigerator brand. There are some parts that get frozen then they start to melt and leak in the refrigerator. They don't go out to the drain. There is this freezing thawing process that is part of the regular refrigeration process but the pathway for the melting gets blocked up. It gets frozen too so the water accumulates in the bottom of the refrigerator. That had happened a couple of times.
I've had problems with a variety of Viking products from double ovens to the refrigerators. I have two homes and I have full suites of Viking appliances in both kitchens. I’ve not been thrilled with them. Viking is overrated. They have a cachet but their performance and reliability do not live up to that cachet. There are lesser prestige brands that perform better than Viking.

The quality of our Viking Refrigerator is not up to par. There are trim pieces that are exposed. You can see the white plastic trim pieces on the inside of the full-sized freezer and the full-size two refrigerators. One of the under-counter refrigerators in the master bedroom has been making a rattling noise ever since we've received it. I don't expect to deal with those issues when we've spent nearly $100,000 on appliances. We ordered our appliances through Winsupply and they sent out a license authorized service repair person. He relayed to us the message from Viking that the refrigerators and freezers we got were within their variants of production. We're used to using other appliance brands and they will never say that that is an acceptable variant.
Our induction cooktop didn't work when we first got it and we had multiple trouble calls. They said they had to make a new part. Every month, they would call us and tell us that it was backlogged another month, and they'd push it out another month. It took them four months before the Viking representative finally called us and said that they would just replace it. They should have just replaced it brand new upfront when it wasn't working. We still don't have an industrial cooktop that works.

Just having them set up delivery, their delivery people coming out, not telling us to do certain things that we needed to do before installation. The quality of the service from Viking is pretty good and their reps have been great. On the very top of the refrigerator door where you put the butter, it has these little flimsy plastic doors that hang over. When you shut the refrigerator, the plastic doors open and the butter comes out. Viking could make those a little bit more stationary or stick more. I also had to have someone come because the ice maker wasn't working. But the problem was they could only come and service our house on Tuesdays and Thursdays but we'd be at work. So it's hard to have someone come out to service the ice maker. They were great about getting to send someone out but I had to cancel it because I thought I was going to be able to have someone here. Viking had a large selection, a solid website and competitive pricing. That's why we've chosen to use them. Unfortunately, I regret purchasing from a wholesale applianve store. I understood that because of COVID, the fridge took a very long time to arrive at our house. But from day one, the fridge never even worked. I contacted Appliances Connection and never heard an answer back. So I went through a technician who referred me to the Viking warranty technician in town. He came out and told me that the Viking fridge that I purchased had a manufacture date of somewhere in 2018. This was the fall of 2020 when I got the fridge. He also said that there was damage on the inside of it. He has replaced it and the fridge has been working fine since. But for about 90 days, I had a refrigerator in my kitchen that wouldn't get cold.
I never got in touch with Appliances Connection ever. I had to go out on my own to find out who was the Viking warranty technician in town and that process was very pleasurable. Once I got hold of Viking Corporate, they resolved the issue very easily. Now that the fridge has been fixed by the warranty technician, nothing out of my pocket, everything has been great. Viking, as a company, has done a great job. We're enjoying the fridge and I love it. All the new technology is new and fun to us since my wife and I haven't purchased a new fridge in probably a decade.

I got the tall, 36-inch one-door refrigerator with the drawer-freezer on the bottom. I got three of those. I got one for the basement and two for my kitchen. So, I put them side-by-side. We have a big family, and we buy a lot. The refrigeration’s going okay. After like a month, the one in the basement stopped working. They did set up service. Something was leaking up on top. So, they did schedule somebody to come out, and it took a while to get the part. Then, by the time the tech came out, it was three months later. So, there was no refrigeration usage in the basement. It was kind of a little disappointing that we had to deal with that.
Also, whenever I open that one little drawer where the ice bin is, I always seem to lose ice cubes into the freezer. It shuts itself off, but I don't think it shuts itself off soon enough once it's a bit full, or if the bin is not large enough that ice cubes tend to fall out whenever we open that door. So, that was something I wasn't too crazy about because now I got ice cubes on the bottom of the freezer that I gotta try to get out. I think they're priced high because of these little issues. When you spend so much money, you expect it to be perfect. You don't expect these little things just happen the way they do. I would expect that on a very less expensive refrigerator freezer.

Now, we’re waiting on a mainboard and a defrosting panel and waiting on parts is very frustrating.
I've had some difficulties with dishwashers too. It's not so much the quality of the manufacturing as it may be how they were installed, unpacked. There was something wrong with our freezer door, which the freezer mechanism has already been replaced as well at great expense. I complained immediately about the refrigerator when it was put in. It should have been replaced. The door was faulty. I was put through so many hoops. We finally gave up. That door should have been replaced from the beginning, and then we wouldn't have had this problem. They wanted to charge us $600 to come out to look at it before they even replaced it after we had already spent money and had it evaluated by somebody they approved of. They were charging us again. I've been holding off giving this review because I was hoping our problem with Viking is going to be resolved sooner than what we are experiencing. We have now occupied our home for almost 2 years and the warranty on these appliances will soon expire. Our builder installed the 7 series built in side by side refrigerator and freezer into our newly built home. The fridge started acting up 3 months into closing. It started with it not cooling, then the water dispenser not working. The freezer also quit working. Viking kept sending their contract maintenance and he kept ordering parts and installing them with the appliances still not working. There are so many dents inside this fridge it doesn't even look brand new anymore.
It's preposterous for a supposedly a high end appliance in a brand new home over $500K. I've had better appliances supposedly from lower end brands that performed way better than these Viking freezer and fridge. Finally this month, they replaced the refrigerator after having us go through unsafe food storage because the appliances weren't working properly for months. Now the replacement fridge is convoluted with the freezer. The top part of the fridge is sticking out and the lower end of the fridge is pushed further than the freezer.
Both appliances aren't aligned properly. It's disgusting how a home of this value would have appliances installed so poorly. The installers even admitted that Viking should have replaced both appliances because the freezer is an older model. After the installers left, the freezer quit making ice again. We called Viking and of course, they will once again send the maintenance person who had been trying to "fix" these issues. DO NOT get a Viking fridge and freezer! It's absolutely disgusting how the customer service dealt with this problem without resolution until now. They should have replaced these appliances right away. I could purchase a pre-owned vehicle of the same price that would run better than these appliances.

I know this sounds crazy but it is absolutely true. I was opening the door, heard a pop and all of a sudden the glass started shattering.
When I contacted Viking I was told my appliances were out of warranty. They only warranty them a year but who expects these expensive, high end appliances to start having problems so soon? My old (non-high end) appliances lasted 20 years! I never once had a problem. What's most upsetting is Vikings attitude. I thought I was purchasing high quality appliances from a reputable company but that's not the way I feel anymore. Their customer service is terrible. They are slow to respond to emails and phone calls and truly don't seem interested in helping their customers or standing by their product.
I had one service company they recommended come and leave with out fixing anything. The service tech said I should just put the detergent pod in the utensil holder and he glanced at the ice maker, said there was an ice cube stuck and declared it fixed. So here I am, a month later with nothing resolved. My biggest regret is not researching. Before you buy: research, get recommendations from friends, visit different appliance stores and talk to the sales people. And read reviews on web sites other than the brands site. I was doing a re-do and I didn’t do a lot of research. I recognized the Viking name and I expected it would be a quality product. Since the moment they went in, I find the customer service to be horrific. We had some issues. The stove was leaking. The refrigerator was leaking. The dishwasher hasn't been working properly. All kinds of things. Trying to get through to their customer service meant I needed to reach out to some third party contacts. It was very hard to reach them by phone, I had to email them. It took over a week to hear back before they even got in touch with me.
Then they had to contact a service representative. The service representative from my area was horrific. He came into my home and said, “I can't really look at that for you. I can't really touch that because Viking’s not gonna pay me to do that,” which doesn't exactly lead me to believe that there's a lot of support for anything that goes wrong. Some of the things would have been super easy fixes have they just been willing to say, “Okay, it's a brand new product, and we're gonna help you.” But they didn't do that.
My most recent issue was that the refrigerator is less than six months old, and the vegetable and fruit trays fell off the track. I couldn't get them back on. My husband couldn't get them back on. So we called and that was a month ago. To this day, we still have no answer on how they will rectify that situation. After two weeks, the horrific service man came, looked at it, touched it for one second, and said, “I think it's cosmetic. It will be $325 to fix.” That was the last I heard from him. I told him we're not paying $325. It's brand new and it's not cosmetic. A track on a brand new refrigerator is in no way cosmetic. I didn't smash the stainless steel on the outside of the refrigerator or even crack the glass of a shelf, which I could understand. But a track is a working part. That's unacceptable.
My husband said yesterday that it is a piece of junk. We bought an entire suite as a rebuild. It was a big investment for us. It wasn't an easy purchase, it was something that we did because we thought it would add value to our home and it would be quality appliances, and we wouldn't have to call service a million times like we might have had to call if we bought GE appliances. But I would have been way better off with that. I also had Sub-Zero refrigerators for 35 years before this. Two of them only over 20 years each, and I never had to call the service company.
The dishwasher, which we have not called them for service, already has parts that have fallen off of it. It's the most disappointing purchase of my life. I would never buy Viking again. I would never recommend it. The refrigerator, over $10,000 just for the one piece of equipment, they got to have better service. This is not acceptable. Even if the customer ends up having to pay, which I should not have to pay for that, I should at least get somebody to answer my question. I should have a supervisor or a manager call me back to say this shouldn't happen.

This was a new home and the builder already had Viking inside. We picked them as part of the builder options and we also did an additional spice kitchen, which was close to a thousand square foot. Instead of going with any other make, we thought the same guys could install there as well. Viking is expensive than other brands that we looked at but it would be easier and then, no other vendor can do the good job. There was a delay in getting them installed but we finally got them although now, I have concerns. Initially, they didn't do the exhaust. We got the exhaust with the return and even now my exhaust is not installed properly. We tried to call them and then they just didn't show up or even when they came, they said that was all it was. So I'm not happy with ABW, the company that we did it with. When the technician was installing also, he came in and left the holes in the thing, and he just went.
We moved in about three months ago and I still have some unanswered issues with them. The whole exhaust have issue from the beginning. It still has an issue and you can't even see the buttons that that we do for the exhaust. You can't see anything going on. You just need to touch it as if you're applying Braille and there's nothing to Braille to because it's all soft glass. The installation itself was a little flawed. The exhaust is one of their high-end ones but it doesn't take all the smell out.
I used to own a restaurant before and I know the high-end ones. If you put a small paper, it tries to suck in that direction at least. If I open the filter, it’s not installed properly. It’s just off while cooking and in order for us to exhaust it properly, we have to open the whole plate and then get it out. Sometimes, I open windows. So, it doesn't solve my purpose of getting exhaust. This is summertime and we can open the windows but I don't know how it's going to be in the wintertime. So I'm hoping they'll come and get it fixed before that. Right now, between the builder and ABW, and those are the only two contacts I have, I'm not getting a proper solution for this.

We were right in the middle of the start of the virus and our JennAir built-in failed, and I needed to get a refrigerator. Viking was one they had and could deliver. But I would have never bought a Viking refrigerator. It’s not where I think their strength is. They didn't install the fan. We had a water problem on our floor and we had to get the guy out. I've never had a refrigerator drip water before and these are hardwood floors.
They got somebody out there but the tech service guys were very confused with it. The first one didn't know quite how to fix it. It left the factory without the fan hooked up on the bottom. There was a float device that tells it when to turn on the heater, and none of that was hooked up properly. It took two trips to figure that and right now I'm still very nervous about it.

Viking was the affordable choice and a better choice than some Maytag. It's got a quality name to it. It's the rep. However, there was a problem with the shipping of our Viking Refrigerator, and we had to get another one. The first one got replaced. Even the second one, the freezer door is a little loose. I didn't wanna deal constantly having to send it back. The handle was loose, so I tried adjusting the handle. It doesn't adjust anymore. But, it's good. It works.
We got it from Best Buy. They were nice enough to accommodate switching out the first one. They would've switched out the second one 'cause I wasn't happy with the freezer door being crooked and the handle being loose. The handle is still loose. We were able to fix the crookedness a little bit, but at that point, we needed a fridge. Our old fridge had crapped out, so I didn't have time. They weren't gonna bring it till the next day. So, that's my only gripe. The product is not 100%. I wouldn't recommend this Viking Refrigerator ‘cause it's a hassle.

I always liked the look of Viking ovens and since Viking always seems to have a package deal sale, we got suckered into buying the package and “saving” some money. The Fridge is awful. The door is too heavy and constantly breaks. They will send someone to fix it, but it is a temporary fix. A band aid. We have thrown out hundreds of dollars worth of food because this fridge door will not close right (very bad design way — too heavy). They will not do the right thing and replace the fridge. I wish we bought the other brand that’s a bit more expensive but actually lasts and is built right. Don’t fall for the bundle deal. There’s a reason they offer it.

After I bought Viking appliances, I've been having problems, and the products are less than two years old. In the first year, we had a problem with the dishwasher. Something went wrong. But they came out and fixed it. Then we had a problem with the refrigerator. The heater for the ice maker didn't work, so there was water pooling at the bottom and then flat out. They came and they changed the heater one time. Then a week later, the same thing, water was coming out again. They said there was some piece over there that was missing. I was disappointed. A $10,000 refrigerator, and within two years, we have problems. For products like these, it should have a longer warranty than one year. But I like it. It has all the features that I need. It's a stainless steel finish but it has a scratch. There's a stainless steel repair kit that I have to get to polish it back to before.

We had gotten a Samsung refrigerator before and it didn't work well. My husband always wanted a higher-end refrigerator. Viking was always the number one on our list. The purchase of our Viking Refrigerator went really well. We bought it at Pacific Sales, which is the higher end sales part of Best Buy. The delivery was good. There was one issue though. The handle wasn't tight enough, so it eventually became very loose. But when we called for service, they came out right away.
Then recently, we've had another discovery. Because we've had it for a year and we're just hooking up the ice machine, we realized there was no ice pan or filter for the water. We don't know how we missed that. They said that we have to go back to Best Buy and tell them because there was no way it made quality control without it not having everything when it came from Viking, which I agree on. So something happened between the time we looked at it and we got it. Best Buy was like, "It's over a year. There's nothing we can do for you." We have to pay out of pocket for the bin and the filter 'cause we never had them. But I like the simple design and quality. I especially like the bin that I could set the temperature for, for wine, cheese, snacks, meat, whatever I want. I like the adjustable shelf too. One aesthetic I like is when I open it up, the lights gradually come on. We're very happy with it.

I like the design, quality, size and features of Viking. The delivery of the refrigerator went well. I had it delivered in March, and been using it fine. But it wasn't until about three weeks ago, I had some renovating and remodeling. I had the plumbers come out and they connected the water line to the fridge so it can make ice. They hooked it up and I left for work, came back and only about 10 pieces of ice were made. So, I called up the place that I bought it from and they sent out a technician today but they couldn't figure it out. The technician was like, "Oh, you need to send this in to Viking." This is a 700-pound unit. I spoke with them and they said that they will come out again to get this figured out. So, I'm not very happy with the fridge at the moment. I also had ordered a Viking hood, a Viking stove, a dishwasher and a microwave. The microwave is fine so far. The range and dishwasher, I had ordered back in May, still haven't received them.

Viking Refrigerator had the most cubic feet in all refrigerator units in 2006. I owned one since 2006 but there was a corrosion issue in it which caused some problems. The warranty honored most of the repairs and it had been fixed. Then I just put in a replacement for the 2006 model that I had. I have high expectations that this new one will be a little more durable. The interior lighting on the new one is great and the accuracy of the temperature seems to be very good. The only drawback is they are extremely expensive. They jumped in cost tremendously from the first time I bought it. But it would have cost even more to reset the space for a different model. So I went ahead and bought a second Viking. Other than that, I'm happy with the performance of it.
The length of the order time for the new refrigerator was really excessive. I ordered this new unit in October in hopes of getting it in before the holiday season 'cause I was having a big party where I'd cook enough food for 100 people. But I didn't get it delivered to me until May. Apparently, Viking had to send it back to the factory a couple of different times because there were defects and it didn't make it through inspection.

We close and open it but it's constant. Plus, the refrigerator is deceiving as it's really big but kinda small on the inside. So, it doesn't fit a lot of things. It doesn't give me water either. We purchased from AJ Madison but we did not have a great experience. But the lady that I talked to at Viking because I needed a service on the dishwasher was okay. The house that I have has a Viking stove. I thought I should get a Viking refrigerator to have a matching brand name. However, this is the worst purchase experience I have ever had in my life. The refrigerator itself is quite heavy. I oversaw the unloading and the product being brought into my house. The man unpacked it, set it up, and the door would not stay closed. He tried a number of times. I asked the installer to report the issue to Best Buy where I bought my product. He did then I made a follow-up call. They told me they were sending a second Viking refrigerator.
Both refrigerators were unpacked here in front of me. I have no doubt that they were brand-new products. The second refrigerator was not cooling. I went in-person this time and asked to speak to the store manager. I had to wait some minutes and that's understandable with all of the horrible problems with this Coronavirus stuff. I told him the refrigerator was not cooling. He sent down someone and again, nothing. I almost wanted to ask him to please bring back my JennAir which was perfectly fine but it was old. He said he was not gonna send another refrigerator. He is the rudest human being I have ever dealt with.
I looked up an appliance service center and I ought not to be having to do that on a brand-new, very pricey refrigerator at over $11,000. I don't buy cheap because I want to buy good. The issue was there was not enough refrigerant which was a fairly easy issue to resolve. But I had to call an appliance repair person myself and I had to pay money myself on a brand new refrigerator. I won't ever recommended a Viking refrigerator. I'm more than very dissatisfied. I would never buy a Viking pencil if Viking sold pencils. I won't ever deal with anybody having anything to do with Viking.

We have a full suite of Viking appliances. It's pricey but we chose them for their reputation and style. My wife likes the refrigerator more but I find it a little too shallow. Everything's up front. But aesthetically, it's very pleasing and it goes with the other appliances as well as the rest of the redone kitchen, and it’s so far, so good. Initially, we had a problem with the refrigerator. It was probably within the first month. I'd found a puddle of water below the freezer on the floor. I did not appreciate that at all. It had gone into a defrost mode unexpectedly, and we had to throw everything in the freezer away.
The icemaker has that bar that will cut it off as it slows up. That doesn't work. The ice overflows and ends up on the bottom of the freezer. It’s never turned itself off, so you have to turn it off manually to stop the ice being generated. Otherwise, if you pull out the top shelf of the freezer, it's higher than the rod because it pushes it out of it, pushes it to the back and out the back, off the end. We're not the only ones. We speak to other people who have it, and they say they have the same issue. From what I understand, there is no fix. It just doesn't do what you thought it would do. That's something that from a design perspective should be looked at.

For something like that to break, I wasn't happy about it. It was the thing that would defrost the fridge. It's one of those parts that you just expect to work and it broke. That was a pain because I would have to get a hairdryer out and melt the ice out of the freezer. But I got a good price on the fridge. It's still less than what I would have paid retail. It was out of warranty. If it would have been in warranty, it would have been covered part. But I just missed the warranty window since I didn't have a proof of purchase technically when I bought it. It's unbelievable to me that a brand that cultivates a premium quality image, and commands (demands?) top prices from consumers, designs and builds such a shabby product. FIRST ISSUE: over the past couple of years, two plastic refrigerator door shelves developed cracks, and shattered like glass without warning, dropping the shelf contents all over my floor. These were not overloaded shelves. THIS IS AN ENGINEERING ISSUE: CHOOSE A PLASTIC THAT DOES NOT GET BRITTLE IN COLD TEMPERATURES.
Incredibly, each time this has happened, Viking Parts Department charged me nearly $200 per replacement shelf (Really? For the price of this refrigerator you won't replace a defective part as a courtesy?); so far I've spent $400 on replacement shelves and I have another shelf that now is developing new cracks so I guess I'll be paying another $200 for that replacement shelf soon. Or maybe I should just not use door shelves?? SECOND ISSUE: no matter how I set the refrigerator thermostat, the vent located above the top refrigerator shelf outputs freezing temperatures. So while my refrigerator thermostat is set currently to 43 degrees, anything located on the upper left refrigerator shelf (water pitcher, juice, milk, etc.) freezes solid. THIS IS AN ENGINEERING ISSUE.
I've experienced a lifetime of different refrigerator brands, from basic Frigidaire, GE to Subzero, all have worked as intended. Certainly never had to replace plastic shelves for my cheapo Frigidaire, and nothing freezes on the top shelf of that refrigerator. So I guess you got an additional $400 from me in replacement parts (soon to be another $200), but I'll never buy a Viking-branded appliance again (don't get me started on the Viking range issues I've experienced).

In our kitchen, we have a Viking cooktop and a Viking dishwasher. So, when we moved into this house, we decided to go with Viking to complete the set and for the quality. I purchased a Viking Series 5 built-in refrigerator through Best Buy. It was delivered and installed, and it was working fine for about two days. Then, one of the hinges seemed to have broken on the door. I went back to Best Buy and told them about it. They said they would order a new one and have it delivered, take the old one and send it back. This was about six weeks ago and the new one was supposed to show up yesterday.
I got a phone call in the morning saying that it was not gonna show up. It's been quite frustrating to call me the day it's supposed to arrive and tell me that it was not gonna come. They scheduled a day that it might come which is for August 28th but I got three different emails, which all say 28th, 29th, and 31st. So, I don't know what day it's actually coming at this point.
Originally, I thought it was only gonna be five weeks. So, they offered for me to purchase a substitute refrigerator until the other one came in and I could return the substitute at a later time. If it was gonna be another five weeks, we can live with it but the door thing has been getting progressively worse to the point where I'm the only one in the house that can shut it. It's a 48-inch refrigerator, so it's a heavy door. You can lift the door up to get it to shut and it seals once it's shut. Also, to add insult to injury, when you pull the door down of the Viking dishwasher, there's a rubbing noise and you have to sort of push it a little. So, I've been trying to call the appliance vendor that we got that through, but I can't get a call back from them. When Viking works, it’s great. But when there’s an issue, it can’t get resolved. And when we went through the website, they gave us several different options and Viking came on top. What I found it interesting is we had different experiences with different pieces. The dishwasher does not dry dishes very well. I don't know whether I'm not very familiar with it or if that I have to read the instructions. Also, from a volume point of view, it feels much smaller than an LG or other ones. It looks the same size as everybody else's, but it's just bulkier.
The range that was put in did not connect the gaps right and it was leaking. I had to bring a plumber back in in order to figure out why it smelled gas in the kitchen. on the other hand, the microwave installation went okay but the techs had a really hard time with installing the double oven. It is too heavy and the installers didn't have the proper equipment and proper training to do it right.
We bought the fridge about a month ago. The first time they got the wrong refrigerator, then the right refrigerator, and they had to change it to a new one. They sent the wrong size again, and then they had to come back a week later with the right size. So, from a responding to a customer, Viking has been good. However, we had a problem with the unit. We lost all of the Freon. I was happy about the fact that they were gonna send somebody to repair it. But Viking sent a new one and replaced the refrigerator. From that service point of view, it was very good. The installation is part of what was wrong with it. The first company that installed the fridge, within about two weeks we lost the Freon in it. The next guy that came in told us that it was the way they installed it that probably caused the damage, but it was replaced. When the next guy came in, they hemmed and hawed a bit when they were putting it in but eventually, everything went in okay.

There's something wrong with the actual range itself. And then, when I called Viking because of everything that happened to have it serviced again because they canceled my last service due to the COVID, they told me I'm out of warranty now. But it's the same problem I've been having since I got the range. I've called in again but nobody has gotten back to me. They were supposed to push it up to management. I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding what's going on.

I have a Viking fridge side by side and 4 years (out of warranty). It broke twice within one year. Repair is very expensive. I had called the Viking customer service and they did not care...compared to the whirlpool fridge that never broke for more than 17 years, the viking is A COMPLETE SCAM AND WASTE OF MONEY. Viking customer service were rude and told me not call again. They can not do anything.

I liked Viking's reputation and the quality of their products. They were pretty much at the top of our list with the exception of La Cornue. But La Cornue was very out of our budget and Viking was much more reasonably priced compared to them. We ended up getting Viking refrigerator and range as well as their microwave and dishwasher. The whole kitchen is Viking. Their products look great, function great, and you always get a compliment when people come to the kitchen. We got them from P.C. Richard and they were tremendous.
A salesperson there named John was fantastic. He took us by the hand and walked us through the entire process of picking out the appliances and what was going to fit as well as what was gonna meet our needs. He was a huge part of us going with the full package with Viking. He kept on insisting that it's the best and said that he has it in his own kitchen. We also had to contact him at a later date because we ended up needing a trim kit for the microwave. We didn't think we needed that at the beginning and he took care of it over the phone very quickly. Then he had it sent straight to the house. That was installed recently and it worked out beautifully. I've kept my relationship with John, too. I've sent him quite a bit of business and I'll continue to do so.
So far, our Viking range has fantastic quality. You feel it on the door, the burners, and the handles. It works quite well and we are very happy with it. It's our first time owning any Viking product, but I've had experience with them before throughout the restaurant industry, being in that field. But we were almost positive that that's the way we were going. My mother also got a Viking refrigerator from P.C. Richard and she's getting the dishwasher as well. They're not in the market for a stove, but after my father saw mine, he loved the size of it. When you pull that door open, it's like pulling the bank vault door, so to speak. You could see it's so well made. We recently redid the whole house and we have a brand-new kitchen. We did it all in brick with white tile behind the stove and it looks amazing. It could go in a Viking catalog and we're very proud of it. I wholeheartedly would recommend Viking products and their reputation speaks for itself.

I got a French Door Refrigerator from Viking and I like that part of it. However, There's a ding on the door because the people who designed my kitchen didn't have clearances from Viking. So far, the quality of refrigeration hasn't been than great. Plus, the refrigerator lost power completely one time. We didn't realize it at the time and so we lost everything in the refrigerator.
Additionally, one of the drawers inside the refrigerator doesn't fit properly. We called in to Viking and they sent another drawer out. However, there's a fitting below the bottom of the door which doesn't line up right. That needs to be fixed. Somebody from Viking is gonna come by my place to talk about the clearance of the door.

I purchased a home and a Viking refrigerator was in it. It was hard to register and they needed to know other numbers that were printed on the packaging in order to register all their appliances. So, you have to call, which was a pain and you couldn’t register it via phone. You had to then go on their website and do it. Also, my fridge was not installed properly by the builder and I’ve had trouble getting someone to service to reinstall it for me. Other than that, the fridge is fine.

My wife and I perceived the Viking refrigerator as high quality just by certification. We like the look of it as well as the configuration with the door freezer and double open top. We also wanted to get a matching set for we did a remodeling in our kitchen. So far, we really like it but there's one thing that kind of drives me crazy, and it's in the minor side. On the freezer, when you open that the big drawer down below, it has an ice maker, and you pull it out. The way the ice is dumped it into the tray and it builds up, about every fourth time, it pushes the ice behind and comes on the floor. But if I open it slowly, reach back, and try to move the ice, it doesn't happen. But sometimes, I forget.
The other thing that we've experienced, and I don't know that it's the refrigerator's fault, is that if our power goes out or trips, then the power comes back on again, the refrigerator doesn't automatically come back on. That could be bad and we initially had a problem when we first got the refrigerator. Aside from that, sometimes we spend a couple of weeks away from the house. We're trying to figure out if there's a way I could get a beeper on my panel or something that would tell me that the fridge is off. But I want it to just automatically cycle back on when the power comes back on.
Also, I wish they can come up with something a little better and easier to remove than that plastic coating that they put on it to protect it during transportation. It's really a great idea to have that protective plastic but it is a royal pain to remove it for installations. Other than that, I feel like we got good value on the Viking refrigerator, so I'm pretty happy.

Our Viking refrigerator's good. We built several homes and I'm a cook, so the Viking range is what I wanted, and then they were doing a deal. You can get a couple of different things, so I went with that and got the refrigerator. My favorite thing is the very bottom shelf. You can put like pieces of boxes and weird things. It's a well thought out storage. It's a good use of space. As far as the quality, it's what I've expected for a built-in. It's good. One of the little doors where you put your butter in the door was cracked on the inside but that kind of happen.

Less than a year ago, when we needed a new refrigerator, we were talked into buying a new Viking (as opposed to a Sub Zero that served us so well after many years). Worked fine for the first 8 months or so but 3 weeks ago we realized that our freezer temperature (and then the refrigerator itself) was going up. It got up to almost 70 degrees. We quickly put in a call to dealer who sold and installed our refrigerator. They could not get to us for 3 days because of the Memorial Day week-end. We took everything out of the freezer and refrigerator and took them downstairs to a little portable unit.
The service tech called us back the next day and told us to turn off the refrigerator/freezer and leave the doors open for 24 hours. The unit started working the next day so we put everything back in it. The service tech came and told us to keep things away from the vents and that would probably do it. Refrigerator/freezer worked for another 5 days and then it bombed out again. Once again we removed everything and brought it to the small unit downstairs. Once again, it took 3 days to get the service tech back. He put in new control boards and said everything was fine. And again, with great optimism, we moved everything back into the unit.
Last night, while making dinner, the upper vent in the refrigerator started making a loud noise. I immediately grabbed my phone and took a video. The freezer temp was already at 16 degrees and going up. Guess what we did? We again moved everything out! We called the service tech right away and sent him the video. He will be here in 3 days. Obviously we are extremely discouraged about this $10,000 unit. And I am extremely tired of running to the little unit downstairs everytime I need something. Give us back our Sub-Zero!!!

I put a quarter of a million dollars in my kitchen in the house to upgrade and renovate it, and I got a Viking story from hell. We bought Viking appliances for the name because they have a good reputation and my wife liked the way the Viking appliances looked. So we got the Viking stove, double-door French oven and dishwasher. The whole kitchen was gonna be Viking. But their refrigerator was a disaster. We got the house set up then realized you also buy appliances for the way they might sound. In fact, we don’t have a Viking refrigerator anymore. It was so loud that I didn't care what I ended up with but I was not going to keep it. My wife liked the look so much that she didn't wanna give up the refrigerator. We had even built kitchen cabinets to fit everything because it needs to fit the Viking refrigerator. But it was way too loud. And lots of people agreed.
The oven also makes a lot of noise when it’s cooling but it really doesn’t bother me because it will cool down. We know that I don’t have to live with it 24/7. But the refrigerator, when that compressor was on and it was on for most of the time, was very loud and annoying. I don’t think it was defective though. I think that’s the way they make it. The main sound that we were hearing was the sound of a fan that comes on in the freezer, blowing and cooling the refrigerator. I spent hours going back and forth with Pacific Sales, asking what was wrong. They sent people out to the house and tried to repair it to see if that was the problem. They even put another compressor in it.
I was beginning to think every high-end refrigerator is gonna make noise like that because they put the compressors up on the top. On the old refrigerator that we had, a Samsung, just the kind you buy at the Home Depot, the compressor is down on the base of the unit and back so whatever noise it made was muted by the wall and the refrigerator itself. But when I went over to the Wolf store, I couldn't believe I couldn't hear anything. I ended up buying the Wolf Sub-Zero refrigerator and we love it. It’s got two compressors, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. The refrigerator is very quiet. So someone needs to fix the Viking refrigerator.

We've had issues with our Viking refrigerator coming with a leak in the line, so it wasn’t very good. They sent a product that didn't work. We had to have them come out and repair it right away before people could even move into the house. We were selling the house. I called Viking, and then they set me up with the two people that work on Viking in the area.

We remodeled our kitchen and I got all Viking appliances. We wanted a higher-end brand and I knew Viking was considered in the top-of-the-line tier. It was between Viking and Sub-Zero but Viking had a special – the dishwasher was free. Overall, I’m happy with the quality. There are just a couple of things that bothered me. The fridge had deep scratches in it and we hadn’t made them but I didn’t notice until the 30 or 90 days so they wouldn’t do anything about that. Also, two months into it, the fridge light went out. The freezer light also went out. I was just really worried about what would happen once we were out of warranty. I told them to come and change it right then. They extended the warranty for three months but there have been some issues that cause me to worry. It would give me more peace of mind to have more of a warranty. I would've preferred a whole year added onto that.
The produce drawers are at the bottom and although I don’t have my drawers overloaded, they can get full and I can see they get off-kilter because there are these weird short tracks that move that the drawers hang on to. So it’s a little bit hard because you gotta take the thing apart to clean it, at least with the way my kitchen is set up. I’m sure there’s a purpose for that but I think it shifts and then my drawer falls. I wouldn’t be surprised if they came up with a slightly different design.
On the other hand, there’s a lot that I really love. Everything is a lot more visible with this and one of the reasons I liked the single door was for the big, wide area to put things like a pizza or a party tray. So that really comes in handy. I also like that on the door of the fridge, this one has metal railing, which I like way better than plastic. That’s what my last refrigerator had. I also love the pull-out freezer. I love that there’s a little tray basket top. That did have an issue where it rusted for some reason but they changed it out for me so it’s good. I appreciated that.

We have Viking products throughout the house. All of our icemakers, double ovens, cook-tops, everything, are Viking. We had quite a few problems. We had two units that had icemaker problems back-to-back and it turned out that it was a hose up in the thing that was not connected properly from the factory. Also, we had one that went out. It wasn’t cooling.
Executive Appliance's service was good. The first time the guy came, he didn't have the right parts. It happened a couple of times. It happens in construction out here. He had to reorder. They came back out and took care of it, but the clients lost confidence in one of the units that we kept trying to repair. And he just said, “That’s it. It’s defective. I want it out.” So, we got a new one. And then we had two of them, one in the guesthouse and one in the main house butler’s pantry, and right now they're in. They're working great. Once the repairs were made, everything seemed to be fine. Everything has calmed down with the client. I’m not hearing anything.
Viking should check quality control. If it was me, I would do more inspections on how hoses are hooked up and make sure there are no dents on doors because we had one that came dented, and that could happen during shipping. We had to replace one of the doors because it was dented. The other thing was, two units had the same problem with the icemaker where the hoses didn't reach. That’s something that is being overlooked in the factory. I would just tell Viking to make sure the guys on the line are checking the unts a bit more.
We almost lost credibility with our client more than once. About three times, they were absolutely very upset about it and upset with us. Why did we pick Viking? They were less than purchasing these other products. So, some of the stuff does flow on price point. And when this home is all done, it’s probably a 15 to 17-million-dollar home. It’s 28,000 square-feet, so it’s a big home. I don’t know where Viking rates with stuff, but the clients chose this and they probably chose it in the beginning on price point. Now that we’ve gone through the house and seen all the money they’ve spent in all the stuff, they might have thought differently in the early going and might have gone to spending more money on a different product. But the units look good. They're all working, so in my mind, they're good to go.

> Door seal replacements (think middle of the night temperature warning beeper)
> Main control board replacement
> Multiple repair visits in attempts to address freezer defrost issues
The freezer section has been a nightmare. Poor defroster system design leading to repeated, massive ice build-ups and melt-water dripping out of the door and ruining our hardwood floor. That’s why I bought my own refrigerator. But by the day I bought it, it started to have many problems. The engine turned off by itself. It worked once in a while.
Viking fixed it three times. When they were fixing the last time, the tech broke the main door's arm so he couldn’t close the refrigerator. I got more upset about it. He then made the refrigerator open and said, “You have to turn it off, and you have to wait like three or four days for us to have the part for me to be able to fix it.” I said, “Are you gonna leave me without a refrigerator, without a freezer? I mean, it wasn’t my fault. I mean, you are fixing something new, and now, you are telling me I have to wait four days without a refrigerator because you broke the arm?” And the fourth time, they again wanted fix it. I bought something new. I don't want it to be fixed all the time. So, I brought it to the place that I bought it, they spoke to me and they changed the whole refrigerator.
Hopefully, I will buy the same Viking set because all appliances on my kitchen are Viking. It came with the house. But the ones they have in the house are the worst ones that Viking has. The cooking appliance turns on by itself too. It has the same problem. Almost all the people who have the same system said all of it came like that. We already had a major issue with the door, that little hook thing in the bottom. That is a poor design issue. The fact that if you open the fridge a little bit too wide, it cracks that piece. I figure the likelihood that it breaks again is extremely, and it will cost us $350 to resolve it. It's also a death trap issue because if you have a small child then that gigantic door opens up and that thing is broken off and does not protect your child and they get stuck between a counter, which can be a liability. That's completely unacceptable. Fortunately, we were under warranty so Viking covered it at the time. We've also had some of the plastic breaks in the refrigerator already which Viking wouldn't cover even though it was within the first year. For $10,500, that was pretty disappointing.
So now, I'm terrified. Everyone opens the fridge and I'm telling them not to open the door too wide. I have my old LG in the garage that I paid two grand for and it's still working perfectly. When the kids swing its door open and slamming it, it doesn't break off. The only thing we ever had trouble with it was an icemaker. It's a lot smaller. But the Viking fridge looks good.
We also spent $4,500 for a gas stovetop although we had one of the burners not working. They ended up resolving it, but there were these little rubber feet on the bottom that would fall off. Then, as I place the stove down and clean it, I have to scratch the top completely every time. I needed to call and ask them for some of those new feet. I assume it's something very cheap. I just literally have not had time to do so since this COVID and I'm working night and day and teaching my kids.
The other thing is that you have to be so careful in cleaning it. It couldn't be scrubbed with Brillo and so you couldn't get the stuff off. All you have is a dirty stovetop on the burner. That would be interesting. But otherwise, the oven and stovetop work and cook beautifully. We also got a dishwasher. It's great and quiet as a mouse. Sometimes if it didn't have that little red light on, I would never even know it's on so it's wonderful. I love it. Overall, we've been happy. Hopefully, it lasts forever.

We chose Viking because we just built a house and we wanted all the appliances to be the same. And we’ve made contact with an appliance company and they had a package with the three - the oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. The quality of the appliances is terrible. It was absolutely horrendous and we would never recommend, per our experience, Viking appliances again.
We had three, now we have two Viking appliances, which caused an astronomical amount, and every one of the three appliances had defects and issues. We are superiorly disappointed in the quality of the appliances for the amount that they cost. The hinges are broken on our range. They had to replace the fan on our oven. The latch on the dishwasher is broken. The door was damaged. They had to replace the door on our dishwasher. I don’t know if that happened in shipping or not, on the dishwasher. But all three of our appliances have had issues.
Our refrigerator was so bad that they had to take it out and replace it with a different brand completely. Our Viking fridge had a stainless finish and it looked like dimples on a golf ball on all the doors. They replaced them three different times, and every single time that they replaced them, it was the same exact thing. It’s definitely a defect in manufacturing. What happens is that they spray the foam insulation in there, and when it dries, it adheres to all over on the stainless steel backing and it sucks it in and it makes it look dimpled like a golf ball.
They came out and replaced the doors three different times. They got the Viking representative involved and they said, “We’re gonna send you brand new ones from the factory.” When they came and installed them, those ones looked worse than the ones before. The appliance company felt so bad that they said, “We’re going to replace your Viking Refrigerator with a GE Café.” And that refrigerator is absolutely beautiful.

We own a built-in Viking refrigerator that was manufactured in 2013. Over the past year, its plastic bins have started to disintegrate spontaneously. Nothing was abused or overstuffed. So far the following have fallen apart: (1) The pull for the ice drawer. (2) Three bins in the refrigerator door. (3) All bins in the freezer door, although two have lost pieces but the damaged bins haven't yet fallen out. (4) The clear front of the deli drawer has cracked. (5) The clear top of the chiller drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator has fallen off.
Obviously without the bins the refrigerator is nearly useless, unless one uses only its floor, and the wire shelves in the freezer which appear to have survived. Viking quoted a replacement cost for all these plastic items that would run more than $2000. To put this in perspective, a month ago I paid $650 for the 21 cu-ft GE refrigerator in my garage. I had to buy it partly because the Viking could hold less and less.
We called Viking and were told that the refrigerator is out of warranty. When I asked the rep if he had ever heard of all the plastic disintegrating 6-7 years into the life of the unit, he said he had. When I asked if this was typical, he said it wasn't. When I suggested that our unit may have been manufactured with a bad batch of plastic and that Viking should take some responsibility to replace it, he said that they will not.
In the past I have used a Kitchenaid built-in, GE, Whirlpool, Amana. In the early years I even bought used refrigerators from previous homeowners or used old ones in rental houses. Never have I seen bins crack and disintegrate as if this were timed to bring in another injection of revenue to Viking 6 to 7 years after the sale. Viking is not a low-cost brand that is trimming pennies on their product to lower the sale price; they position themselves as a high-end luxury brand. Whatever happened to reliability, durability, and pride in the brand?

I've been using Viking for the past 13 years but I don't think I'm gonna buy Viking appliances moving forward. I was very happy but not anymore. I have lots of properties and in most of them are Viking. I like the design of the refrigerator but in the past three years, the refrigerators are very bad quality. They just keep breaking down and all the repair people would come in and say not to get Viking. I like too that the dishwasher can have the filter but it breaks too often.
Last year, I spent over 20 grand but some stuff was on backorder. So, I told the supplier that bought one for me to put in my invoice that I bought two. Then, when I asked for the rebate, they said that I didn’t qualify because I have one invoice. Even though the guy who I bought it from said it was gonna be okay, I didn't get my rebate of 5%. They could have looked at my file and made an exception because they would be out of pocket fast and it wasn't my fault. They should have fought with the reseller, but I didn’t bother. So, they've lost a loyal customer.

We needed a new fridge, and we heard that Viking was a good model, so we decided to buy it. But ever since we’ve had it, it has been giving us nothing but a problem. We’re working with Best Buy to have it replaced as soon as they can get us a different model or unit, not even Viking. The compressor seems to be humming a lot louder and unusually higher. So it’s this annoying, high-pitched hum that we constantly hear. Also, the alignment of the bottom freezer drawer is a bit off. They tried to replace it with different Viking units from different warehouses, but all of the refrigerators had the exact same problem. So we did not go with a replacement, and we came to a mutual decision that we’re gonna have the Viking taken back by Best Buy and have it replaced by a completely different brand.
We got the 36-inch freestanding unit and it is absolutely not one I would recommend. Best Buy asked us to reach out to the manufacturer directly, and they came over and saw the unit, and they didn’t really do anything. They told us that they were not gonna be able to help or do anything here and that we just have to talk to Best Buy. So while they were polite, they were utterly useless.

I went with a five-piece Viking appliance package for its price and the brand reputation. I was able to get the five pieces that worked best for me at that time. However, I found that Viking appliances as a whole are very simplistic. It's great in a refrigerator, but not so much in some of the other appliances. I had Jenn-Air previously and their appliances just had more features. But for refrigeration, it just needs to keep cool things cool and frozen things frozen. The refrigerator is the Viking appliance that we have that I like the best. It’s nice-looking and seems to be doing what it’s supposed to do. It also has a good amount of space. The lighting is nice. The shelf assembly and the drawers are all great. The refrigerator is working out really well.

We were replacing a refrigerator that was a certain size and Viking was the only thing we could find that would fit without having to redo my cabinet. There was a line or a seam that was in the door panel when it first arrived but it has already been replaced. The ice maker is terrible. It's a very rickety metal bar, whether you put it into on or off mode. I was so afraid to move it because it looks like it's gonna break because it doesn't look like something that would be your on/off. It doesn't keep making ice until it's full and it barely makes any ice.
Everything in my freezer has an icy snowy look on it and anything you put on the top shelf on the left side of the refrigerator freezes. So, we just put a set of water bottles up along the left-hand side of the refrigerator and the top shelf. We've had it for five weeks or so now because I kept thinking that there was something set wrong. The repair guy thought it could be the steel gasket that goes around the door that suctions on when you shut your refrigerator door. He put a new one on to make me feel better because the only way that I could have frostbite on my stuff is if some air was getting in there. So, there's a whole brand-new gasket installed on that that has nothing to do with it.
I reached out to Viking through Friedman’s which was where we bought the refrigerator. I'm trying to make the lady who I bought this from figure this out. She got whoever to come and address whatever issues that I've had so far but the thing with the freezer hasn't gotten any better. They just said it was fine but it’s not. Everything's not being frozen at the right temperature. This refrigerator was the price of a car and it's terrible. It's over $14,000 so, I am as unhappy as can be. I can't even believe a refrigerator costs that much in the first place. Then, to think that we've barely had it and it's already like this, what's it gonna be like in a year from now. Refrigerators should last 15 years. I had the one that we had before for 14 years. I had it from the time we built our house.
In the purchase of getting this Viking refrigerator, I was excited because they said that it was gonna come with a free dishwasher. The dishwasher is even worse than the refrigerator. It's so bad. I don't put things in there with gobs of food on them, but you have to wash them perfectly before you even put them in the dishwasher, because it doesn't get anything clean. Both of them are terrible and I'm so regretful. Between the dishwasher and the refrigerator, this Executive Appliance, who Viking uses to service issues when you first buy something have already been here four times. So, I don't know what else to do.

I bought the refrigerator through the Pacific Sales inside the Best Buy, but the delivery part of it was terrible. The people that were supposed to do the delivery and the installation screwed up twice. It was a 48-inch refrigerator, so it's pretty heavy and large. The sales rep has specifically put in the requirement multiple men team to come for the installation, but twice they came out with only two guys and they weren’t able to do the installation. Other than that, the refrigerator has a nice design and has a quality feel to it. But I didn’t expect it to breakdown so early. The icemaker went out only less than a year that it was purchased. So I had to have it serviced.

I bought a house and the appliance in the kitchen on the main floor was done with Viking. It was brand-new. When the workers finished the house inside, they scratched the door, so I called the company again and asked them to replace the door. The people came back to the house and changed that. They mounted and drilled the door with the screws and things like that. It's a double front door and when opening the right side, there is a little flap in the middle, which is supposed to flip when closing and opening it. Perhaps one of the two doors is a little bit too low, so I have to do it manually, which is fine for now. I have to rebalance the two doors together. But otherwise, it was good and I was very happy with what they did. The front door is new now without a scratch and that’s what is important for me.

I went through a dealer in a showroom. They suggested Viking and presented it. Since on the day we had it installed, we kept on having issues. We had a cracked hinge which is steel right from the beginning. Right now it’s making a noise when opened. There was also a loose fan inside that was making a noise at the beginning. That would have to be repaired. There was another issue with the bottom drawer, the front door alignment, which is still not perfect. They said it cannot be corrected anymore.
If I call directly to Viking, they seemed not very helpful directly. They basically try to avoid any replacement or anything like that because we had a big issue with the first refrigerator, which we had to throw out. That one was brand new that was damaged right at the beginning. This is our second brand-new refrigerator, again with issues. Very pricey too. I have another issue with my stove now, and it’s also Viking. I'm not happy. Maybe we just had bad luck, but definitely not buying Viking again.
On the other hand, we are very happy with the local service they contracted with. These guys are very responsive and very knowledgeable. They fixed everything pretty much quickly, and were really very courteous. That was a good experience with them. But overall so far, it’s a little bit of a disappointment. We never expected from the beginning to have the service over so many times since it’s brand new. I was actually about to call today again ‘cause there’s another issue. With this price point, buying brand-new appliances are a huge investment for many, many years for me. It’s definitely not worth the price.

The third technician on the fourth trip out to visit my fridge was able to accurately diagnose the problem. The fourth technician on the fifth trip out was able to successfully repair the unit once the parts arrived after my goading to have them shipped overnight rather than the typical shipping method of bicycle messenger. I was refunded the over $500 I had paid for parts and labor, as at the end of the day it was a warranty covered issue. Since the problem did eventually get resolved to my satisfaction, I upped my star rating from a one to a three. I can't in good conscience go higher than that because it took five trips over almost two months to get to the resolution.

I bought this Viking refrigerator in 2014. In 2017, after three attempts over an extended period the technicians couldn't repair the unit and an entire replacement unit was sent and installed. Skip ahead to 2020. The replacement unit has failed and has been down for over a month. The first service call cost was over $300 and did not fix the problem. The technician on the second service call was a little more wary, and called second level support for advice. The advice was to order me another $300 part that as of 2/21/2020 I have been waiting over 10 days for. Good thing I live in Northern Illinois so I can keep my perishables in a cooler outside this time of year...

I have a 120 year old Queen Anne with a beautiful Chef's Kitchen filled with all Viking Appliances. I have 500 to 600 people visit and touring this historic Victorian house on an annual basis. The 36" Viking Refrigerator stopped cooling both the refrigeration and freezer sections. I contacted the local high-end appliance center, and was told by them, that they no longer work with Viking because of their very poor service of there appliances, especially their refrigerators. I spoke with all other neighbors in our "mansion district" and was told the same thing. So, this was shocking because I own a complete set of Viking appliances in my beautiful kitchen.
Nevertheless, I decided to find out myself, what experience of service I would get by contacting Viking. Well... the person on their (1866) toll free number, kind of "summed" it up as exactly like I was warned. The unhelpful person referred me to the closest authorized service company 75 minutes away, which after calling twice and not hearing back, lead me to believe I was dealing with a truly amateur company. I am highly thinking of changing-out ALL the Viking appliances to a more professional manufactures.

When we renovated our kitchen in 2010, we purchased Viking refrigerator, dishwasher and range. The first dishwasher failed in the first year, and had at least 4 subsequent repairs before Viking agreed to replace it. The second dishwasher also failed within 2 years. Viking would not replace as the warranty did not apply. We now have a GE dishwasher, the third dishwasher within 9 years.
The first refrigerator failed within 2 years. It was also disappointing that the drawers cracked. Only my husband and I used the refrigerator and we were not rough with the drawers. After numerous repairs, and many calls to Viking, the company agreed to replace the refrigerator. About 3 years ago, we received a replacement refrigerator, a Brigade Professional. Over the past few months, food has begun to freeze in the refrigerator. The temperature is 30 to 32 degrees F in the interior. Adjusting the dials does not help. Also, the drawers are beginning to show cracks and the plastic windows in the bottom crisper have fallen off and no amount of glue seems to hold them in place.
The range has been OK overall, with minor issues with a dial. One igniter for the gas burner required replacement—it was expensive and took weeks for the part to arrive. To say we are disappointed with the quality of Viking would be an understatement. I would not recommend Viking appliances at all. The service from the company was extremely slow when repair parts were needed —Example: it took over 3 months for a part to come for the first refrigerator repair. These appliances are very expensive and do not live up to the quality expected.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We deeply apologize for all the areas of concern. If the refrigerator settings are at 30-32 degrees Fahrenheit, this would be below freezing. Viking recommends full-size refrigeration temperatures to be set between 37-38 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal performance. My wife decided to purchase a Viking refrigerator because she likes high-end stuff. The unit's refrigeration is fine, but I’m a little disappointed that we had to request a replacement for some of the drawers because they were cracked. The drawers seemed to get damaged very easily because of a quality issue. When they sent us the first replacement, there was a problem. So, we had to request another one. Nevertheless, there was no difficulty getting ahold of the Viking contact. We are also disappointed that we cannot retrieve ice or water from the door or water, and that the door is squeaking. Viking is reasonably priced and is a decent-looking commercial brand. I like my refrigerator. The quality is fantastic. I like the size of it. It’s big and bulky, and probably a waste of time and money but I like it. I also got a stove, a little 30- or 36-inch, the hood, the microwave, the dishwasher and then I have a wine cooler. But I wasn’t that happy with the people. They didn't take me seriously, first of all. I went and spent like $20,000 or so and then I spent more, and they were acting like idiots. They didn't know half of what was going on with what they were selling. They didn't sell anything, actually. If I hadn't known what I was gonna get, I wouldn’t have a clue. But I had done all my investigating ahead of time. I’m a contractor too so I’ve seen stuff. The delivery service was terrible as well. They dropped my fridge when they delivered it and if I hadn't been there that day, it would've rolled over.
I thought people who would sell this material would be told they better put their heart into it and act like they know what they're doing. But they didn't actually have that. So Viking is not being represented so well where I bought it from. That was not a Viking dealer that I went through though. It was just a store that sold their products. It wasn’t actually Pacific Sales or Snyder Diamond. The Pacific Sales store over in Burbank is very attentive. I just don’t like going so far but when I do go, they're all over you.

I got a Viking refrigerator for the high-end performance and the quality is very good. However, I had gone to an authorized Viking dealer and the people there were not so great. I would not recommend that store ever again. It was just a regular store in Pleasanton. They sold many different high-end brands but we had already chosen Viking so we went in and just said we wanted Viking. The sales guy was fine but once we got to the order phase, the manager of the store dropped the ball and didn’t place the order.
They told me it would be two weeks and it ended up being about seven weeks before the appliances arrived. We were under a full kitchen remodel so all the old appliances were gone, and it was the holidays. I had to get involved with the corporate office before they did anything about it. Also, one of the burners on the range isn’t working very well now so I have to call for service on that. It's a six-burner stove and it's only a month old. I always wanted Viking appliances. I love to cook, so it is a brand that was instilled in me that is quality and a professional kitchen. Initially, I should have looked. I went to Best Buy to look at them, but I ordered these online, and I never really tested them out. I like certain things that I bought, but there were certain things I don’t like. I like the refrigerator because it’s large. But I’ve seen others that the inside interiors are better made, more stylish, and the placement of the shelves are a lot more intuitive than the Viking.
The doors and the bins are fine. It’s just the placement of them is not as functional as we thought it would be. We like the soft-close doors but we didn’t expect it to be so small inside being a 48-inch. We thought it’d be a lot larger because we had other appliances like LG or Samsung, and those were standard-sized, and they seemed to have more space. I like the Viking because of the aesthetics. It’s a beautiful refrigerator. But in terms of functionality, it’s just plain-Jane. It’s a $10,000 fridge so I was expecting more. It’s a 48-inch refrigerator, and its freezer is tiny, unfortunately.

We owned a Viking in our previous home, and we are familiar with appliances, so we wanted to have a Viking suite in our new kitchen. We were the happiest with the double oven in our previous place. We had a different model, and the convection ovens were great. So that was our starting appliance, and then we just said that we’ll go with Viking. We thought about Sub-Zero and Wolf but we decided to go with Viking again. We like the size and the look of the refrigerator. In terms performance, everything is fine for now. I’m happy with the way it’s performing. I like the feature that you can control temperature in different compartments in the refrigerator, and there’s ample space in the freezer. The whole suite is the reason that we wanted to incorporate the refrigerator as well. But I would go with a different dealer next time.
We’ve purchased your appliances through Best Buy, and it was a very challenging process because we were given confirmation that all the appliances were in a warehouse. And when they were supposed to be delivered, the refrigerator was missing or it was damaged, and they couldn’t deliver it and the range top also. So it prolonged the contractor and our whole kitchen project. The whole project took several weeks longer than expected because the customer service was just lacking in the store. It was not great.
When the item was delivered, the protective tape was cut in the factory and it scratched the surface of the refrigerator. So there is still a scratch around the Viking sign that they weren’t able to remove. We attempted to exchange it but the new one was even worse, so we decided not to accept it. They should consider changing how they cut the adhesive protector because whatever sharp object they used, it scratched the surface of the door.
It was a great frustration because it took weeks for the replacement. Once it got here, the delivery people showed us the item outside and they said this one had even more visible scratch marks from the way that the blue tape was cut. They said they could replace it but we were gonna be even more unhappy with the new one. But the performance of the refrigerator or how it’s cooling has been fine.

It's just a fridge, and frankly a poorly designed product, that for some reason costs an order of magnitude more than others. My Viking is 19 years old but the first failures started in the first year. Shelf units and other plastic parts crack and break and the price of replacement is half the cost of a brand new fridge of another brand ($600 for a plastic drawer cover! - be warned!). I'm about to haul my $15,000 fridge to the dump because the back is rusting out, it leaks water onto the floor whenever it defrosts, and the control panel no longer responds to key presses.
I've taken my fridge apart. I'm a former VP of Engineering for a few product development companies and in my opinion there is nothing in this fridge to justify the price. It's just a fridge. Cheap electronics, poor mechanical design, and for some reason this company is able to charge a huge premium for their product and extortionist prices for replacement parts. Save your money! We went to Best Buy and we decided to buy a Viking refrigerator as I had heard that it was the best product in the market. We've also had a Viking stove for 10 years. However, the refrigerator we got stopped working one day. It was not freezing. I called Viking and they sent me a company to do the service. They needed a part as there was something wrong with the motor. Now we’re still waiting for that part. So far, we haven't had good experiences with the equipment we bought from Viking. The dishwasher we got was a problem also. Now I have to pay $500 because the motor went bad.

There was a technical issue with our Viking that led to it being replaced. It was an older model that had a very unfortunate habit of freezing over the freezer at the bottom. The customer service was quite good. My wife contacted a US service representative who referred us to a local repair person who came to our house and assessed the issue. Being that this was something that was recognized as Viking and something that warranted a replacement, he reached out to a Canadian representative who emailed us and spoke to my wife. We then signed a contract and an NDA and they replaced the refrigerator. So far, the freezing at the bottom hasn't happened with the new unit. It functions well.

Still, their reps were very good and they are able to provide me with whatever information I’m asking for. I had a Viking in the home I purchased and based on the existing refrigerator I had, they offered me a discount to stay with them. The older refrigerator was not very good at all. The models that were manufactured between 2001 and 2007 were total crap. And they knew there were problems. The owners had significant repairs and costs. I had issues with the thermostat, compressor, evaporator, and hardware falling off. The evaporator was 1,500 bucks to replace and I've done that twice. When it came down for replacement, Viking offered us a 40% discount to stay with them and give their product another chance. So far, I'm very pleased with the new refrigerator. Their representatives were very helpful and I like the people from Middleby. I've had a very good experience with Viking.

We had a Sub-Zero and then we decided to try a Viking. We wanted a freezer on the bottom rather than the side to side, and it’s stainless steel. However, we’ve had some problems with the freezer as it stopped working. Somebody came in and defrosted the drain line or whatever that gets clogged up with a hair dryer. We had to spend about $400 to $500 to get that fixed as it was out of the warranty. Also, I'm not all that impressed with the set up for the authorized repair. We called customer service, and the repair people are coming again tomorrow. But it’s like I’m talking to somebody where I got a phone bank somewhere, and it’s not a local business.
For one thing, we can’t find the stupid model number or the serial number. They’re underneath somewhere strange in the back of the freezer, and one can’t get down there to see it. Also, the other day, one of those bookcases with the sliding shelves on the door broke apart for no reason. I had to order from Viking a new one for a couple hundred dollars for half of one of those bookcase sliding units. It’s so stupid that I’m trying to get that plastic. This unit just broke apart for no reason, and then I’m trying to go find the model number and the serial number so that I could talk intelligently with Viking support, and I can’t get it. The only way I found it was to go back to the original invoice from ABW who were the people who get all the appliance for us when we were renovating the kitchen. Other than having these incidents, Viking is a good refrigerator and we like it.

I love the amount of space of my Viking refrigerator. It’s really good for an office. However, it wasn’t getting to the appropriate temperature. So, the serviceman came in and replaced the fan and something else. Those parts were not under warranty anymore, so we were looking at four years with the refrigerator. The freezer was working fine, but the two parts that he replaced didn’t do the trick. He had to come back, and then it was something that he needed to fix. He came out a couple of times before we finally got everything back up and running. So, we were without a refrigerator through most of the holidays, which was kind of a pain. And it made it hard to get him in.
The serviceman was great. The only issue we had at one point was finding out when the parts were coming in. We waited and waited and finally, I called the serviceman and they said that they were having a hard time getting the parts. So, I ended up calling one of Viking's customer service numbers to find out what the issue was, and the part was in the following week. But there was this waiting time where we didn’t know anything, and it was because the part was taking forever to come in. Viking needs to set interaction between whoever provides the parts to the technician, and then the technician’s communication with who’s waiting on the part and the repair.

I have a 36" Viking refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. Generally it does what it's supposed to do -- keep food cold. But it's rather noisy. I can hear it running in the next room. The refrigerator door has an annoying tendency stay open; it has to be closed with a deliberate push or it will swing wide and bang into an adjacent wall. I assumed it would be a simple adjustment to rebalance the door so that it would close with a slight nudge as most refrigerator doors do, but a Viking repairman said there was nothing he could do to correct the problem.
The ice maker has also been troublesome. There is a thin metal bar that senses when the ice cube bin is full and shuts the ice maker off. The same bar also acts as a manually operated switch to turn the ice maker back on when more ice cubes are needed. However, the bar is rather flimsy and has a tendency to come loose from its socket, with the result that the ice maker runs continuously churning out buckets of ice cubes with no way to stop it (echoes of The Sorcerer's Apprentice) other than by turning off the water supply -- not very well engineered.

We owned this place for seven years. After five years, we noticed that the refrigerator would hardly ever shut off and the alarm would go off daily, then it went up to twice a day. We were having problems keeping ice cubes. They would melt, would stick together, and then everything would have a lot of moisture within the freezer area. It got to a point we could hardly keep frozen items in there. A.B. May, the company we got a contract with who service Viking, came out, looked at it and said, “You don’t have a good seal. It could be where the refrigerator itself is a little wavy, so therefore, you can’t get a good seal.” He recommended I just go ahead and not keep trying to put parts back into it and fix it but get a new one instead. So, we did. We went close to a year dealing with the alarm problem. In the last six months, we couldn’t keep anything in our refrigerator while they were trying to figure out what was wrong.
When we went and purchased a new one, they pulled the old one out and I saw this big, rusted-out area in the back of the refrigerator. I called Viking at that time and talked to one of the experts in the technical part of it. I asked him what would the cost be if it had this rusted-out area. He said, “It would cost you having problems maintaining the temperature in your freezer department, and you’d have more moisture in there. You wouldn’t be able to really keep anything frozen consistently.” I said, “Well, that’s exactly the problem we had for a year.” Nobody pulled it out to look at the back, obviously. They just looked to try and figure out what was causing with the seal, including the company that is recommended by Viking here.
I passed that information on to customer service and I said, “Here’s what our problem has been. We had to go buy a new refrigerator because of this. The whole complex here has Viking in it, and our neighbors' refrigerators are working fine.” So now, I submitted all that to the claims department and I didn’t hear from them. I sent another email asking customer service what is going on because I was told, it was passed on to claims. Somebody from claims then got back to me and said, “We need the photos you’re talking about. We need the service repairs.” So, I said, “Customer service said that was all passed on to you. It even had a service number. I have not heard back from them.” So, I’m not very happy with Viking because I've not been able to get the response I need from them. I'm to the point where if I don’t get a response, I'm going to start posting those rusted-out pictures on social media.
We have the double ovens, microwave, dishwasher, everything is Viking, that was why we went back with the Viking refrigerator again. I’m very happy with the new one. It’s working like it’s supposed to. But the problem is the old one. I've had it for about 10 years. And for a year, we were very inconvenienced. At least I can get a goodnight’s sleep now. I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to turn the alarm off. I even called Viking and wanted to know if there was a way I could disable it and they said no. They said that we can’t disable it. And the only thing we can do is if we leave for a vacation. They said, “You’re just gonna have to unplug it and it’s the only way.” Because we didn’t want it beeping all the time. It would drive the neighbors nuts. So, I wouldn’t rate their service very good, not from what I was being told.
So far, it’s been tough even getting anybody to communicate back to me. Every time I called in and asked about what I could do, the customer service people would always transfer me to somebody else. But when we couldn’t keep the temperatures in the oven, A.B. May came out and replaced the circuit boards. They were great. We just recently replaced the hinges on one of the oven doors because it wouldn’t even shut tight enough to turn the light off. And when they put the new hinges on, it’s now working as it’s supposed to.

Nothing heavy in them, but the "ALL METAL" door bins have plastic end caps that are cracking. We purchased a full suite of Viking kitchen appliances (gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher), which were delivered on 10/1/2019. Since they were installed, all four appliances have required service. First, the insulated glass on the microwave door was not sealed properly, so condensation formed between the glass. Viking’s fix for this issue was a new door, which took over a month to get. The front panel on the dishwasher was damaged when it was installed, so it also needed to be replaced. The panel came with the microwave door about a month after it was ordered.
The gas range - which is supposed to be the flagship product for Viking - also required repair. The oven would not ignite consistently and would fill my home with noxious gas that had to be aired out. (The service technician found that the ignitor was too far from the heating element, which is why the oven wouldn’t light.) There are no bells and whistles on this range, which I knew when I bought it, so one would think it would do the one thing it is capable of doing... lighting... and it couldn’t even do that without a service call.
Now the refrigerator is sounding alarms randomly and indicates that our freezer is varying temperatures, as high as 55 degrees. There is no way to disable the alarm and it has taken more than a week to get a service call scheduled, which means my family has to endure this loud beeping that goes off all day and night. To make matters worse, we have a special needs child who is terrified of alarms so this has been particularly distressing to him. Due to whatever error the freezer is experiencing, the compressor runs so much that our food in the fridge is freezing. I have had to throw out a bunch of produce, like apples, pears, lettuce, etc., because of the extreme cold in the fridge.
Given we have only had these appliances for two months and experienced problems with all four of them, I would say I am extremely disappointed in Viking’s quality. Their service has been terrible, too. Despite multiple attempts to contact someone at Viking who can help, we have yet to receive a call back. In the meantime, I’ve had to reach out to multiple appliance repair companies, the retailer where we purchased the appliances, and taken time off work multiple times to have the appliances serviced. Had I known how bad my experience with Viking appliances and arrive would be, I would’ve saved myself the trouble and money and purchased non-“professional” appliances!

"This is the worst refrigerator on the market. In the 2.5 years we have owned the unit, we have had the following issues: handle broke off the ice drawer, handle broke off the vegetable crisper drawer, the hinge that keeps the door from hyper-extending has busted twice, the fan went bad, AND on top of that there is a faulty design with the 'circulation' system that is supposed to circulate air from the freezer to the refrigerator -- it causes everything on the top shelf of the refrigerator to freeze, so we can't put anything on the top shelf (I talked to many Viking employees who admit they are aware of the problem and there's nothing they can do about it)!
I just called customer service to plead for a new crisper drawer since our warranty just expired and it is clearly a faulty design. The handle is not secure on the drawers and breaks off very easily and they said, "No, you will have to pay $213 PLUS shipping and handling for a new plastic drawer." The last refrigerator we owned cost $10,000 less and we didn't have a single problem in 10 years. Please don't buy a Viking refrigerator!"

Viking has been a long-standing name. I’ve remodeled my kitchen and Viking is one of the models that we looked to buy, and we ended up purchasing the whole package, including the dishwasher, fridge, stove, the 36-inch. We love the stove and the dishwasher. We are having a slight issue with the stove, and we’re waiting for a call back from somebody to come and take a look at it. The refrigeration, as far as how cold it is, it’s been great. Our initial experience was not good though. The refrigerator came with a big wave, a number of waves, and not really dents. The initial response to my request was kind of flawed a little bit, and I didn’t know if that was so much at the manufacturer or it was the person the we purchased it from or the company we purchased it from.
Viking said they would replace the door and I said it was not just a door and it was three doors. After some photos and back and forth, it was eventually replaced. So, I’m happy. I love the style and design. On each side of the door, there’s a lower part for drinks. It pivots and it kind of goes in and out a tiny bit. There’s a shelf that you can lean towards you, and I think it’s for small drinks. I just think that could be a tiny bit bigger. I do like the shelf and we didn’t even know it existed. I didn’t read the whole book when I got it. And you can tuck the one-half of the shelf back so you could fit a taller bottle in there. We have started using that. That’s a nice feature.

This is my third time having a Viking fridge. This one is a little better. I spent a lot of money to get it right on the third time. That's a little disappointing, but we are happy with it this time. On the first house, the ice maker was always broken. It cost me $300 a month on an average for many years. Got here to my second house, and the ice maker frozen in the bottom. It cost me $300 a month. An ice maker shouldn't be that expensive. It's a very inexpensive part. So, hopefully, we got it right this time. We got our new refrigerator at the first of the year and everything has been going pretty good. I really like the space.
The Viking dealer was excellent. They really knew the product and what they were talking about. Our Viking refrigerator is fine. I’ve only had it for two months, but I found that I’m having to figure out where to put stuff. It seems small inside. I don't know if I would repurchase another refrigerator like that because of the compartments. If you have very tall things like milk and wine, it really makes it hard. You can take out the other shelves, but then you have no place to put stuff. And this is my first thanksgiving, and I’m really dreading to figure out how I’m gonna put stuff in the refrigerator. I’ve emptied everything out of the little vegetable things to put my dishes in there. Also, I haven’t figured out how to clean the outside of it yet because it seems like I’m always messing with it. We shopped around at several different appliance, some of the appliance showrooms, and I was going back and forth between Sub-Zero, Wolf and Viking. There were pros and cons for all of them but I really liked the Series 5 oven. They have a double oven that’s got a French door on top and that combined with the cooktop that I felt like it was a rugged enough look. I decided to go for a Viking kitchen package because of the oven than it was because of the fridge in particular. But if I put raw strawberries in their fridge the strawberries stay fresher much longer than they did in previous normal refrigerators I had.
Before when I put the strawberries in my refrigerator two days later they’d be all shriveling. But with Viking I can put them in there, and a week later, they still look edible. There’s something about the airflow. One of their appliance guy explained to us something about that and it definitely works. But I have to buy an ice scoop because Viking doesn’t make ice dispensers in their fridges, which is fine, because I like the smooth look on the front. But I think that they should probably throw in like a food grade ice scoop because yon’t wanna touch ice cube with your hands. That’s just kinda gross.

We are certain your days will turn into many years of experiencing the immeasurable quality and service Viking offers through our products. Thank you for being part of the family.

We were doing a high-end kitchen renovation and there were only a few brands that were built in and have the look and were a 30-inch refrigerator column. We’ve dealt with a small appliance shop in the past that our contractor recommended. It's a family-owned business so we were quite comfortable there and got great information. They treated us well at that store and we had experience with them previously on another renovation. I wanted to buy the Viking refrigerator because it has the technology to help remove odors where the Thermador we were looking at did not. And it holds everything I needed to hold. But we’ve had a second service call for the refrigerator, so we're a little uneasy right now.
There's been water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator, so the tech came out about a month or two ago, and he found something that was wrong and fixed it. And then, they were out again today because it didn't stop leaking water. It was coming in from a different place now, so we're waiting on Viking technical services to respond back to us and the appliance repair guys.
Getting service is easy. We haven't had to wait very long to get appointments when we’ve called. We had vacation in the middle, so we had to wait a little to get the second call put in. But they've been good on customer service. When I called Viking customer service, it was really good. I emailed them because I was too busy to call and it took several days for them to get back. But then, they dispatched the repair people pretty quickly. The local repair service that is authorized is good so far. They even came into the newly renovated kitchen and looked around at all of the appliances and told us they could work on all of it. They've been pleasant and quick to show up, and easy to schedule.

Terrible customer service...Senior management refuses to respond! I have a Viking under counter ice cube machine. The problem is the ice cubes produced melt within minutes when placed in any type of liquid beverage. On my first call to Viking a technical service representative told me I needed to clean the under counter ice machine and the quick melting ice cube problem would be resolved. I bought the cleaning fluid. Went through a 30 minute process but in the end I I still had the same problem.
I again called technical service and another tech told me the ice cubes melting within minutes WAS THE WAY THE UNDER COUNTER ICE MAKER WAS DESIGNED... I explained to him that it was a real problem when I would fix any type of drink as the melting ice would dilute the liquid in a matter of minutes…When talking to the technician he explained to me that this icemaker was designed for the cubes to melt quickly. He went on to say it was great for drinking a glass of water and not much else. When I asked him if there was a fix he said no and when I asked him if I had any recourse with VIKING he also said no. I then sent a letter to corporate headquarters and I got a call from an individual by the name of Keith who was the head of customer service and he left me a voicemail and said he would call later.
Since I did not hear from Keith after a few days, I called again and was put in a queue and after 10 minutes finally someone came on the line and said they would have Keith call me. After waiting over 40 minutes I again called the number I was given and waited in an even longer queue and when I finally did talk to a human being, her only response was that they are very busy and they have a lot of calls ahead of me. When I told her all I did is want to talk to Keith and again I was told he would give him the message. I had now spent over an hour on the phone waiting in the queue for Keith to get back to me.
Finally Keith called back and informed me that both technicians that I talked previously were wrong. I asked him if he would send over a qualified technician to try and fix the problem and his answer was that would be at my expense… I sent a another letter to senior management and got no response. Bottom line Viking markets their products as top-of-the-line. My experience was the technical service group could not agree on how to solve the problem… Inability to communicate to the technical service group as none of them have direct numbers and as a result any callbacks requires you to wait very long queues. A senior management team that refuses to communicate when they have a problem that’s cannot be resolved by their technical service group! STAY AWAY FROM VIKING APPLIANCES‼️

When we bought the house, the Viking refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave were there. The issue that we have at the moment is that the refrigerator is not installed to the end. The water is not connected. For us, it’s very difficult to find a way to connect. When it’s installed the correct way, it’s great quality.

Thank you for allowing Viking into your home, we appreciate you as a customer. If the refrigerator was not installed properly, please contact the dealer or installer. They will be able to assist with having the water line corrected.

The refrigerator is four years old and one evaporator in the unit leaked so it froze the whole bottom of the refrigerator. Viking covered the part, which I appreciated. But, I had to pay for the labor. I have heard that that had been an issue with some of their units, but they have also improved their warranty since I purchased. So I was thinking, if the parts had not been covered, I probably would have bought another one --and I would have gone with another Viking-- because I am looking at 3,000 versus maybe 7,000. Right now, I have a year on the parts.
The appliance repair people I dealt with were pleasant and courteous. They made sure whether or not there was a warranty on the parts. They were timely to come out, they came back out quickly, and did the job that I thought was an excellent repair. When I pulled on the one bottom drawer, because I did not realize the bottom was frozen at that time, I broke the handle. So, they ordered a replacement part for me, which I picked up yesterday. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. Its performance is great as far as what it is supposed to do. I like the built-in look with the wood panel of the refrigerator and I like the fact that it keeps the vegetables fresher the way the airflow is versus a standard one.

We purchased Viking online through a store and it's working very well. We have a Wolf in another house and we thought the quality of Viking was better. There was something that we needed to get fixed, and we applied through the warranty for it. We initially went through a company called Jeff's Appliances, and that wasn't the best experience that we've had. We had to go to another store close to us and select another supplier. This company came out last week and they did a good job helping us get everything situated. We're definitely satisfied.

This brings us great joy knowing the quality of our products is in such high regard. Thank you for your comments.

I see Viking in other people's homes, and I got them because I thought the quality was good and they were kind of upper-end. However, the quality is not what I thought it was. We have the whole suite -- we have the refrigerator, a 36-inch freezer, a 48-inch stove, two dishwashers and a microwave. The fridge is fine and I like the size of it. However, I’m surprised at how poorly the others were built. We ended up having to get six dishwashers in total because four of them were bad. The other two, we finally said we were sick of being without a dishwasher, so we just accepted the poor quality. The stainless steel is thin, and it was dented on the front. The drawers on the side were broken, and we ended up having to pay shipping on it because Viking wouldn’t warranty it.

Thank you for reaching out to Viking Range regarding your experience. We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered. Our customers expect the very best, and we work hard to ensure the quality of the appliance meets their expectations. Unfortunately, shipping damage is not a manufacturing defect. The Selling Dealer has a procedure in place to help the customer when this occurs.
