I am amazed at the dramatic improvement in my lawn. I had a large amount of various kinds of weeds in my lawn and it had been greatly disturbed by excavation of a trench for the installation of a gas line. Within a few months after this work was completed the lawn looked better than ever.

I requested that TruGreen avoid spraying product near my dug well in the backyard. After 2 years of calling they finally got it right. Then, since more than half of the lawn was in this area, I asked for an adjusted price for treatment of the remaining half of the lawn. I paid that price for one year until my last billing. They are again charging me the full price for half of the work. I have called and asked for the manager and he is never in. He left me a voice mail saying it did not make any difference in the cost since half the lawn should cost as much as all of the lawn for treatment. My service is out of the Rocky Hill, CT office. They are terrible. Very disorganized, do not follow directions, different people performing the services each time, unresponsive to customer inquiries and now guilty of trying to rip me off with charges I never agreed to. I would not suggest using this service to anyone. It is not worth the hassle.

I am very pleased with the lawn care provided by Titus from TruGreen Lawn Care. His professionalism, work ethic, character, and knowledge of lawns is excellent. When I first moved to the area in 2007, I knew my lawn was in trouble. Weeds were choking the grass; grubs were producing a checkerboard of brown spots, and skunks were on a nightly vigil of digging holes in the lawn to enjoy the grubs. Fortunately, Titus came to my rescue - fertilizing, dispersing weed and grub control, and reseeding. My lawn is now thick, green, healthy, and safe. I am grateful to Titus and TruGreen Lawn Care.

Prompt, courteous and efficient, I like using them. It saves me money and time. I have been with them for 7 years and have sent them 7 customers. If I have a problem they do everything possible to fix it in a very timely manner no matter how many issues I have had.

The specialist took time to answer my questions regarding my lawn. He offered solutions to some problem areas and was specific on some issues to be careful of. My lawn has never looked this good, especially when I was doing things myself. The lawn looks great!

I hire TruGreen to kill my weeds I was having problems with, my front yard had weeds, and my back yard was beautiful, I have a lot of shade in back yard. I spoke to salesman Steve, and he promised that they would take care of it, "I said, don't touch the backyard," he said not to worry. With the same price they would do back and front. They would analyze it. The had two procedures and my back yard was dead after. I had a beautiful grass, I complain, and took them two weeks to come and check my yard. Mark the supervisor came and agreed that they had made a mistake, he said keep with the program and maybe by late August it might come back, they didn't even said we will take care of it or anything. I had to hire a company to re-seed my back ruin yard, I canceled TruGreen, and will tell anybody that ask me about my experience, they wouldn't do nothing to help me with my ruin yard.

TruGreen always calls to let me know at least a day in advance to let me know that they will be out there on such and such a day... this helps me just in case my lawn crew falls on that day so that I can reschedule the Trugreen application.

My latest application was done by Mr **. He did a very good job in getting my whole lawn. He talked to me before and after. I was very satisfied by his service as I am every TruGreen tech, they do a very good job and I am happy with the way my lawn looks.

My most recent lawn service was substantially more effective/satisfactory than the previous two visits. I was told that weather had been hard on lawns and that is why I was not seeing the great results that I'd become accustomed to over the years. I have trouble with dandelions, especially along the lawn's perimeter and I have resorted to digging them up myself. I also had large patches of clover. After I took your survey, I was contacted by a very nice/concerned lady who set me up with a free revisit. The specialist who came talked to me, he walked with me around the yard, listened to my concerns, and answered all my questions. He worked on my lawn for a half hour instead of the usual less than 10 minutes. The clover patches are already gone and I'm looking forward to the demise of the dandelions. I sincerely hope that the excellent service I recently received will continue.

A+ lawn service company. I have been with this company for several years and they do a excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone. Charles ** is very reliable and does a great job with any concerns that I have.

After a very tough winter on my lawn, the service I have been receiving from TruGreen has made a significant improvement. Each of the visits have been quick, easy and without any problems. I am looking forward to seeing the great results continue through the season.

TruGreen has been a good experience for me. There are reminders when I am scheduled for a visit. Many opportunities for lawn improvement are provided if I choose to select. The servicemen have always been on time and friendly. A note with details of the service is always left at the door so I know the condition of the lawn. They also leave suggestions for improvement.

Was looking into our lawn being sprayed for our new house we are moving into soon and this company NEVER STOPS CALLING!!! I even found out that a rep went out to our new house and did a survey of the property that we never asked them for nor wanted. It's like a telemarketing nightmare. All hours of the night and day because their call center is national and all different numbers because it's nationwide so you can't block them. I asked several times to be removed but it takes several weeks for my number to actually hit the do not call list so they say. Do not call no matter what- you will not be left alone after if they get your info and they may show up to your house unannounced and uninvited. If we get a bill for "services" performance that we never asked for I will be calling BBB.

We have used TruGreen for many years and are happy with the service and the appearance of our lawn. The specialists are knowledgeable and quick--no muss, no fuss. TruGreen alerts us before any application is applied. Our lawn is the nicest looking one in our neighborhood.

My experience with TruGreen is both good with a bit of mediocre service. I was used to the excellent service received with Scotts Lawn Service and a particular technician who treated my lawn like it was his own. The current technicians started off with very little interaction, but recently have improved in working with me regarding my lawn. I will not make a final determination regarding service until this season has completed. There has been almost a complete disappearance of dandelions and so far, no crabgrass, but there are new weeds that had been eradicated that are popping up again. Hopefully, after talking with the technician the last time, they will improve.

I signed up with Trugreen in February. March, April and May they came out to fertilize and spray for weeds. Each time we had torrential downpours. I called back numerous times. Customer service does not write notes in the computer when they say they do. Trugreen states they will keep coming out for no charge until weeds are dead. They don't. I got charged. I have a yellow spot in my yard. Trugreen could not tell me what kind of grass it is or why it may be yellow. Horrible company to deal with. They're always right. I had to spray my own weeds to kill them. I dealt with a lady today that more like called me a liar. If you look at my yard you would think twice.

My lawn is not great looking this year, but must say it looks somewhat better than my neighbors' that do not use a lawn service. I cannot speak of the timeliness of the specialist because I never know when he is coming and the only way I know he has been is the door hanger. I use to get an e-mail or phone call the day before informing me he would be here but that stopped a couple of years ago. I would really like to know in advance when he is coming. The time I actually met my specialist he was friendly and seemed to be professional. I am not totally pleased with my lawn this year but as I said, looks better than some of my neighbors.

Everyone that has come to service my lawn has been fantastic. Now that I am out of work, I get a chance to meet with them. The last gentleman that serviced our lawn last week, was very well spoken, courteous and knew his business. I have the only and best-looking lawn in the neighborhood.

Service by TRUGREEN has always been good since they have provided lawn care service to us. The staff always keeps us up-to-date on treatments, and their specialists provide good tips on how to keep our lawn in shape during treatments.

The lawn tech was great. Cody was his name. He was very informative about the lawn and the issues I was having. He's doing a great job. I am very pleased with the service and how fast you can accommodate my needs. The only bad thing I can say is the call center is VERY difficult to deal with. They tell you one thing and then something else gets done or doesn't get done...

On the front left end of lawn (when standing on road and looking at property) there is a large patch which was damaged during one of the weed spraying last year. All grass got killed and it has now grown all weeds. Please look into that.

I am happy with the services and very happy that if a service missed something they will return and address the problem. The personnel on the phone are very helpful and always there when you need something. My lawn looks very good and I receive complements on it as well as the scrubs.

The specialist's that service our lawn and shrubs have been very professional and helpful when we have questions. A serious concern for our yard is fungus, both the lawn and the shrubs. With all the rain recently, this is a issue that needs to a priority.

Don't wait to save your trees and shrubs. The tree and landscape treatment I started last year I believe actually saved them all and kept them from dying. They all look strong and healthy this year and I am continuing the treatments. My lawn responds to the fertilizing and other treatments it receives throughout the year.

In less than a year I have used this service to try and make my yard more healthy looking. Since that time I have had to re-seed to get the grass to grow back. The weeds are just as bad if not worse than when they started treatment. I have paid close to $120.00 a month since they started, and I have had to spend more money trying to get my grass to grow back. I was actually invoiced for treatments that never occurred and I asked to have them not send anyone unless I was at home. Within two weeks they scheduled two treatments. Total disregard of customer requests. I will never use this company again, as this is the second time I have used TruGreen in two different locations. They ripped me off both times. I am done!

They are always friendly and willing to help. They answer any questions you might have. They even came out and told us what grass to buy for the shade areas in our yard where nothing ever grows. We were very happy with the results. We have recommend them to our neighbor and now she is experiencing their service. We have signed up for the mosquito service also.

We hired TruGreen to fertilize our lawn. The one time they did bother to show up, the service was fine. The weeds died out. But I dislike having to beg for service or threaten to get even the most basic of service level - show up. Here we are again, begging them to come out and do the next treatment to no avail. When we finally asked to speak to a manager, they someone would call within 3 days. I don't consider that to be an adequate timeline to a customer service concern that could be easily resolved by simply putting us on their schedule in the first place. Is it really that hard? (I gave two stars instead of one solely because when they did show up, their treatment was effective, but from a service aspect, they'd get zero stars.) Disappointed.

My lawn looks great and it is very healthy. The lawn was over ran by crabgrass last year due to an employee not applying what I paid for. The company management made good on the mistake. Today the lawn looks very good and I appreciate the company working with me to keep my patronage.

I inquired about a possible lawn services for my dad for Father's Day. I was told they needed my information to give me a estimate of pricing. Joshua, who helped me in the phone, then told me I would be contacted within fifteen minutes to get a quote and talk about my lawn care options. Never got a call. Next thing I know, I'm being charged for lawn care that I've never authorized. I've tried to call and email several times and there is never anyone in the other end. I'm still being charged and I have no idea what for. I would never recommend TruGreen to anyone.

My lawn looks very lush and green. It has the appearance of a well treated lawn. I would recommend TruGreen to anyone who asks about my lawn. I will continue to keep TruGreen as my lawn keeper for the distant future. My friends are all very pleased with the way my lawn looks, no weeds, very green, very lush.

I like the fact that TruGreen has an automatic start and stop to the annual service. I don't have to try to remember to begin my service in the Spring. The service person always comes to the door to announce that they are there to complete the service. I like the door tag giving me details of the services performed and the evaluation of my lawn. The e-mail follow-up is also valuable. Although I have not had a reason to ask for special services (such as controlling a tough weed) I am confident that TruGreen could provide such service with good results. My lawn always looks great!

I had two TruGreen visits today, one by Michael ** regarding lawn fertilization of new sod and treatment of dollar spot fungus that just popped up in the new sod. The other visit was tree and shrub treatment by Edward **. Both specialists were extremely courteous and efficient. Michael takes a particular interest in my lawn and is easily reachable by phone for opinions and appointments. He is extremely conscientious in diagnosing, treating, and following-up on results. After spending thousands of dollars to landscape my yard, apply new sod, and plant new trees, all services are valuable insurance policies to protect my investment.

TruGreen is the best company. I have had several others and no one compares to TruGreen. My lawn is finally green!! The employees are so nice. I would definitely recommend TruGreen to anyone. I love how they always call you the day before they come. Keep up the great work!

My lawn was looking great up until 6/8 when an application was applied. A day or so later I noticed brown tips and spots appearing all over the lawn. Called to register a complaint and hope I don't have to pay for this disaster!

After TruGreen apply the first weed treatment for my lawn. Somehow I still saw the weeds grow up in my lawn. I called Trugreen, let them know that problem then 2 days later they send their people come to my home and does the treatment again, with no charge. Thank Trugreen. You did a very good job and very good care for your customer.

I always get a notice before my lawn is serviced and the technician is courteous and polite. A day or two after this service another service manager paid me a visit to see how their service was doing and to see if I had any complaints or needs. Excellent customer service!

I am very happy with TruGreen. I am advised ahead of time when they will be spraying/working in our yard. They are always neat never leaving anything such as trash. Yes, I would recommend them to any of our neighbors as well as friends. Our yard is very green especially with 2 inches of rain last night.

Initially, I was very happy with the customer service that was provided by the TruGreen rep. She told me that I would be charged $29.99 for my first service. I confirmed with her that my first service would not be more than that. My first bill was for $77.00 because the person sprayed grub control, which I did NOT agree to! My husband left a message for the technician & didn't get a callback until over a week later. I cancelled my service & would not recommend to anyone. They make excuses as to why they provide bad customer service & are unwilling to help. It's evident that they do not care about their customers.

I receive too many calls regarding "been to your property" stating I have diseased trees and shrubs... #1 no one has been here so please don't lie to a customer... By the way my tech Steve is great and so is my lawn but is business so bad you have to make unnecessary calls.

Happy with my representative. I have known him for 2 years. I am pleased with the service TruGreen provides. We have the annual prepay for our shrub service and for the lawn treatment. We also have the Fall aeration. I am not planning to change service anytime in the future.

I was having a party at my home so ten days before I signed up with TruGreen for a mosquito treatment plan. I told them I needed the first treatment before the party, they said no problem. Three days before the party TruGreen still had not applied the treatment so I called. They said they would be there the day before the party. Well they didn't show up again. I received a voice message from TruGreen that they would be there the day after the party. That doesn't help me for my party but still a no show. Three strikes you are out TruGreen. I canceled my plan.

The service people are quiet, quick, and efficient and I appreciate how well our lawn looks. When I call in my issues are handled very quickly. I tried another service once but the lawn did not look as healthy and cared for so I returned to TruGreen.

Lawn service is good and effective. Service technicians are prompt and knowledgeable. Initial pricing is too high and need to negotiate every year which is tiresome. Have been using them for 8 years and my lawn looks great. They even stay away from my garden!

I spoke with a salesman who made a bunch of promises on how GREAT service TruGreen had. He even promised me that if I had any problems, I could contact him by his telephone number. He also promised me that if they damaged the grass, they would replace it. I explained to him that I had service with Scotts who damaged my grass and caused it to die. He told me they bought Scotts out and terminated all of the employees. I contacted his on numerous occasion with the telephone number he gave me and he NEVER returned my call.

Two weeks ago I called and scheduled an extra lawn service due to new grass seed that was up and growing good. I had not had it serviced this spring, and wanted to get the backyard caught up with the front. The person said someone would be out between May 23 - 26. On Friday I called to see if Ron **, our specialist, was coming. I was informed there was nothing scheduled but our regular scheduled visit had been moved from mid-June to sometime in the next week. She gladly scheduled us for early on Tuesday, the day after Memorial Day. Ron came on that day. He said he was to put weed killer on, nothing was on his schedule for fertilizer.

I've had a great experience with TruGreen at 2 different homes. The service is consistent, easy to make changes if needed, very responsive customer service and, most importantly, my lawn looks great! I would recommend their services to friends, family and neighbors.

I am satisfied homeowner. The lawn has never looked better as long as TruGreen comes out on the rounds. I have been customer of TruGreen for 12 years and had my ups and downs with TruGreen. But, recently the service has improved. The only improvement would if I could be notified in advanced on when the round/Service will be completed.

I should have worked with TruGreen long ago. The results have been great. I thought it would take most of the summer to see any changes, However my lawn looks as good or better than any others. The advice and professionalism of the people from TruGreen has been very helpful.

TruGreen has done a nice job on my lawn. I don't have the weeds I used to have and my lawn is nice and green. They take good care of my lawn. The specialist knows how to take great care of my grass. He also answers my questions well and explains things to me.

My lawn specialist, Michael, has serviced my lawn for the past few years. He has always been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If I am home, he gives me an update on my lawn care and apprises me of any issues or concerns that he feels I need to know. He is very thorough with the lawn application and I am happy with the way my lawn looks. Michael performs the service on the day that it is scheduled, weather permitting. Because he is so personable and responsible, I feel that he represents TruGreen very well and is an asset to the company.

We are very pleased with the service we have received from TruGreen over the past five years. We plan on using their services next year as well. Whenever there was a problem (1 small and 1 big), they quickly rectified the issue and continue to provide good reliable services.

We love our lawn, so lush and green. We would recommend TruGreen and will continue to use them in the future. Our lawn care specialist, Randy, is great. Our lawn is like walking on a lush green carpet. We've been using TruGreen for several years and use the yearly program. Very affordable and our lawn has improved every year.

The Specialist that I met with the prior time was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He walked the entire lawn with me so that I could show him some areas that needed special attention. After applying the fertilizer, etc. most areas look better. This is the type of service that we expect every time the Specialist comes to our property. We need our entire lawn to be evaluated and the proper treatment applied. There are still a few areas that are in need of attention, especially the front so this is still a concern to us.

Our account is confusing as we are really a commercial account without a business address. I am the President of our association so I make the arrangements and all correspondence comes to my home address. Our lawn at our home has been treated even though I make every attempt to have the order marked "treat along Diamond Path Rd. and the area along the white fence". I wish there would be a way to resolve this confusion. It costs you money and me time. Mitch **, the technician that serviced our account, was very professional when we met to discuss the area to be treated. I am confident if Mitch remains the person handling the treatment the correct area will be treated. The Oaks III entrances look the best they have in years!!

My lawn is looking much better than before having TruGreen. The specialist is always very friendly and does a good job. I have been completely satisfied with my service. It is worth the money spent. I stopped service for a while after my lawn was looking good. It didn't take long for me to realize I had made a mistake. I need them to keep it looking nice.

The application to spray for weeds did not work very well because it rained the same day it was applied. I called TruGreen and they were able to reapply the weed killer at no extra charge. I was very satisfied and my lawn is looking very good.

May 31st I reached out to TRUGREEN. Very nice salesman pushing the sale which was easy for I called for I wanted to use TruGreen. He could not give me an appointment so he transferred me to someone else, who transferred me to someone else whom said I would get a call within 48 hours... 7 days later I called to explain I need an appointment and I kept getting call centers trying to sell me TruGreen. I spoke with 4 people from call centers trying to sell me TruGreen yesterday before I got Niesha whom made me an appointment for the next morning at 8am. A few minutes later Shelley from Tampa called me and I explained to Shelley, Niesha made me a 8 am appointment for the next day. NO CALL, NO SHOW today so I called again which Hillary from Tampa answered stating the work day with appointments doesn't start until 10am, 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. TRUGREEN is a complete waste of time, and a lot of time.

The results of last year's service (our first year with TruGreen) really showed this spring. Our lawn came in healthier and thicker with fewer weeds. Our interaction with the staff, both the technicians who come to the house as well as the staff we've interacted with on the phone, have been very positive. We're very pleased with the service. It's a great value with great results.

Thank you TruGreen for helping us take great care of our lawn! Email notifications, automated phone calls, online account management and great on-site service! We have a larger yard now and it was challenging to keep the weeds and grass maintained. TruGreen has taken care of this for us now and made our lawn maintenance happen. Thanks TruGreen!

Our TRUGREEN associate is both reliable and thorough. Reliable as he always keeps his appointments and never rushes to get the work done. Thorough in that he will not only do the scheduled work but will recommend, without being pushy, what future actions may be needed to keep our yard in the desired condition.

Happy with service. Most of the time applications require at least 2 follow ups in order for me to be satisfied. Will let you know after two weeks if I had to call the service dept again. There are still weeds growing and the technician says I should wait the entire two weeks.

Rich does a great job keeping my grass green and healthy. He is always asking if I am happy with the service. He is the reason I stay with TruGreen. Great service and customer service. Takes his time when applying the fertilizer.

My ugly brown lawn is now a beautiful green. TruGreen always gives a call a day before coming/customer service is always friendly, and my weedy, looks-like-a-vacant-lot lawn is now pretty much weedless. Reasonable prices, and what else can you ask for?

I have dealt with TruGreen for six or more years and find them to be very accommodating and I can actually say that my lawn which contains many trees has improved greatly in color and thickness since they began their seven yearly applications of fertilizer and weed killer.

Polite technician closed my gate. But I still have weeds. Been using service for years, please correct Dandelion over back area sticky weeds by back under back bushes weeds. My fingers hurt trying to pull them. My grass is green since I water.

Thoroughly disgusted with TruGreen. Started service with Scotts. Trugreen bought out Scotts. I have complained about crabgrass in my lawn for the last 3 months. The last time the manager said they had just treated lawn and would not send anyone out for another 3 weeks, quite snarky. Sent a message to the Corporate office after 3 weeks; got confirmation that message was received. 3 weeks later no response. Customer service is not just awful but all Trugreen seems to want to do is sell more services. Heck they can't even service what they have. I prepaid for a year contract. Needless to say I will not renew. I had Scotts for about 3 or 4 years, no complaints. Trugreen; this is their 2nd year with me and will be the last.

Trugreen has reached out to remedy the situation and so far I am pleased with the service.

The technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. They come on a timely basis also. They are very careful to flag the yard when they are done, so the neighbors can keep their pets away also. I would recommend them to my friends.

Your service is outstanding. It is your staff and the attitude of the techs that perform each service that makes the experience so easy and smooth. My lawn in looking very good... It has looked good since Scott's took over and I have had a few lawn companies. It has stayed looking great since TruGreen took over Scott's. I used to have a lot of trouble with weeds before Scott's.

On two separate occasions when my yard was first aerated and when I received my first yard treatment, the people that did the work were very professional and most importantly informative about what they were doing and how it would affect my yard.

I love pulling up to my house & admiring how Beautiful & Green my lawn looks. It stands out as one of the prettiest lawns in the neighborhood. When I noticed some weeds growing in, I've called & within a week, (usually just a couple of days) a specialist has come back to treat or retreat problem areas. Every person I have dealt with (by phone) has always been super nice & always accommodating to my needs. Thank you.

I have to say, my lawn this year looks better and greener than it has ever looked. But then again all lawns look good in the early spring. The early summer will be the true test for my lawn. I've always had a problem with crab grass when the hot weather comes in and I've seen signs of grubs. But for the most part I am very well pleased at the results so far. I know you'll give my lawn whatever it needs.

The best thing being with TruGreen is that my lawn is totally taken care of by the professionals at every level of service. I like the way advance notification for service is sent followed with the visit of the lawn professional. These people are trained, courteous, skilled and fully familiar with the stuff being used in the lawn. My area professional is Steve, will always come fully equipped with the valuable information about the chemical he is putting on the lawn. This has been always a fun learning and I admire their friendly role. My lawn which is lush green is a true example of their effective reach for the deep green.

Long time customer appreciates ... years of service. The employees are always very pleasant. They knock at the door and step back off the steps, so when I open the door I am not startled. I have with you for 10 plus years for all these reasons. I have not looked into the price I am paying for years and now that I am retired, I am looking to cut costs wherever I can. Maybe a discount for older retired people would be something the company should consider to reduce turnover later in life. Along with how many years you have been a customer. These comments are why I have been with you for over 10 years. Maybe closer to 20! Congratulations to local management for doing a good job.

Your technician rang my doorbell to let me know he was here, as scheduled. He was friendly and professional, and outlined the work he would be doing today. When the job was completed, he left a note on my door. I think the lawn looks great. Thank you.

I was actually at home and had a very brief conversation with my specialist, who is also very pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall my lawn is looking very good right now. I have used TruGreen for many years, and have been very satisfied.

Professional Proactive Yard Service: Our specialist always rings the door to check in with us, to let us know he's here and to see if we have any special needs, he also updates us on our yard and anything special we should be aware of. Very comforting to know he's keeping an eye out for us!

The young lady on the phone was excellent and took care of my request quickly and professionally. I wouldn't say that about the supervisor who came out to my home... but enough of that garbage. The tech Dyllon is also great.

When Trugreen started treating my lawn two years ago, there were large bare spots, weeds and grubs. After two years of treating the lawn with fertilizer, grub control and seeding, the lawn appears green and well maintained. I haven't met the lawn care specialist, but it's a huge improvement over what it looked like two years ago.

Each season my grass is the envy of my neighbors. Thanks to TruGreen. The color, and fullness of my lawn stands out in a great way. The lawn care technicians are great because they always leave a detailed description of what service they have done.

We have used TruGreen for a few years on our yard. They are fairly good with the yard and if there are any issues, they are quick to correct. EXCEPT ONE HUGE ONE - they call us continuously trying to sell other yard services. I have complained at least 10 times to not call my cell phone but they still do and repeatedly. If I don't answer my cell, they call the house. Getting a call every now and then would be fine, but calling me weekly and 8 PM on a Friday night, weekends... it is crazy. I have pleaded, begged, and cursed at them to not call, just leave the note on the door. I read it. I get it. They still call. We have paid for the year in advance and this will be our last year. Ugh.

TruGreen provides results! The service is impeccable. They are very responsive to issues that arise. They are considerate and timely with their response. Their recommendations have saved me time and money. I have the best looking yard on the block, because of them.

TruGreen responded to my problem of a very poor lawn with extra treatments of fertilizer. The rainy weather plus grass seed also helped my lawn come back to its prior condition. I think they gave me two free treatments. I supplied the grass seed.

This was only the second treatment so only time will tell as to how well it is helping my lawn. The specialist during the first treatment was professional and took the time to answer all my questions. I was not present at the time of the second treatment, but they left all their information for me to review.

Specialist said I should see weeds begin to decline in 7-21 days. It's been 12 days and I have not seen any effect, particularly on the clover in the backyard. Still waiting to see weeds wilting. Seems like on the previous applications the weed decline was more immediate.

On Aug. 2nd, 2016, a TruGreen rep offered me a year of lawn spraying at a reduced price if I paid it all upfront. It cost $397.68. After only 8 months of service, they started billing me monthly. When I called them this past April, they told me the year really meant a growing season year & that I was now responsible for the monthly payments. I feel this is a "Bait & Switch" practice. I spoke to 3 different people from TruGreen, & they offered no resolution for this. All they said was that they are sorry, but I still owe them the monthly payments for April & May 2017. They also hung up on me when I mentioned going to the BBB.

The technician from TruGreen who serviced our lawn (Riverbend, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), called me to say he had completed, but had run short of Notices to plant on our lawn to say it was done (May 30, 2017). This was not possible, as the markers I had setup on the rear lawn to check if anyone even visited this part, indicate convincingly that no one had visited this area.

I made a one time payment for services which at the time of payment I indicated that I wanted my service to end. In no uncertain terms. Come to find out they've been charging me all this year and I haven't been called or informed that they were doing work until they inform me that I owe them hundreds of dollars. This is completely unacceptable. I will suggest if you want a company with morals. Go somewhere else.

This company had their reps hound me for weeks promising to transform my lawn, etc. The first red flag was that as soon as my credit card number was in their possession, the Sales Rep disappeared and would no longer take my calls but rather reverted to sending me automatic "Not Available" text messages. As for my lawn, it took a nosedive as soon as these people were hired. Crabgrass sprouted everywhere and I found myself buying product from Home Depot to treat my lawn by myself. Each time I called their Customer Service, the girls were rude and tried to talk over me. One of them made a snide comment in reference to my "accent".

Great service. Specialist Zachary ** very professional. Answered all questions. A real asset to company. The lawn has improved significantly since service began last year. Have told many property owners about the service and how it has improved our lawn.

If we are specifically referring to lawn care, my specialist is Edward and he seems to be very dedicated to making sure that my lawn gets the treatment it needs. He has also given me advice as far as how long or short to cut the grass, and where specific problem areas are and how we need to treat them. He goes out of his way to point out areas of concern. It shows all the times after service that the lawn care is being performed at optimum level of satisfaction. I have found that with regular lawn treatment the weeds remain under control. The prices offered are also competitive and I like the extra discount when paid on annual basis. With TruGreen it is a different experience with skillful people.

Look at how wonderful my lawn looks!!! No weeds, just a carpet of green grass! Recently after just the second treatment and several days of gentle rain, I had my daughter cut the grass. When she was done I walked out on the lawn in my bare feet, it was a nice warm 70 degree here day in Cleveland, and the lawn felt like a green plush carpet, cool to the touch and soft to walk on. Made think about having a picnic in my own backyard on the grass. Thanks TruGreen!

Colton ** serviced my lawn and as always did a very good job. He informed me of everything he was going to do for my lawn. He checked a dry spot on my front lawn and told me why it was there and what I could do for it. Because of the moisture we have had this month, and the care from TruGreen we have a green and beautiful lawn.

I had TruGreen for a few years for regular weed control/fertilization/etc. in my front yard and organic in the back (I have dogs), but it didn't help much with the weeds. The last year of service (now 2 years ago), I called several times to cancel. I had a job answering phones at the time, with little help, and every call was answered with, "Just call us and we'll send someone back out to reapply (weed control)", and then I would be disconnected.

Tons of money with no results. They auto drafted 386.00 in 2 1/2 months and whatever product they're using is cheap. There has been absolutely no change in my lawn. Very pissed. Would never recommend.

After two years of service I am done with TruGreen. Half my lawn became so infested with weeds it killed the underlying grass. I tried to work with TruGreen to fix the problem but told them I did not want to pay for services while they corrected their mistake. I was told that they will give us 25% off services going forward. I don't think it was unreasonable for me to expect them to fix their mistakes. I don't know if this was a case of ghosting but I know from the manager our lawn should not have made it to this point. I have attached images of the lawn at different stages of the weeds. This is only part of the lawn. The side lawn was worse but could not get good aerial picture.

We had a new technician this past visit. Not our usual tech which is a senior tech and has been with the company for a long time (Pedro **). So far, so good since Pedro always does a great job keeping up with our lawn and knows exactly how to control our weed. We were not home when the new tech came for the service, it may not be enough time to evaluate him yet, we shall see in future visits. We have been customers for 7 years.

The service we receive is totally great. Our lawn looks fantastic. The Tech is awesome and very polite. He stops by... Gets the job done quickly and without incidence. Whenever I call your office for any reason... The response is quick and precise.

Lawn quality so far this year is noticeably improved over previous years (prior to TruGreen service). My lawn is thicker and greener than it's been in several years. Service is on time and of exceptional quality. I would highly recommend TruGreen's lawn care service.

I have been a customer of theirs for about 5 years. I work at home so I know when they come some of the time. Most times they ring the doorbell, sometimes not. Sometimes I am available to answer it, sometimes not. Half the time they do not treat the backyard. I have a 1 acre lot and they leave after 15 minutes which means they only did the front yard. I am tired of this and called and told them I am not paying them until they do what I am paying for. This is a continuing problem with them and if I don't get what I am paying for I will be switching to a new service.

I feel both the tech and office staff do their best for my yard and care about my account. If I've had a question or issue I feel confident it will be taken care of in a professional and timely manner.

We have been using TRUGREEN for about 18 months on our grass, trees, and shrubs. Our clay soil is very poor and filled with rocks. Our grass was one of the worst in the neighborhood and was filled with weeds and larva. Now our lawn is beautifully green throughout and about 4 inches thick everywhere! Our trees and shrubs look fantastic, with dozens of Japanese beetles dead that used to devour our back patio trees. Our neighbors walk by and say wonderful things about our lawn and landscaping! And it looks like several other neighbors have gone to TRUGREEN as well based on the signs I see and the carpets of green grass on house after house. Once I asked for an extra boost for our front hedge and holly plant and I got it immediately. Go Greener is right, TRUGREEN! We now have a lawn that is the envy of our neighbors and your services will surely add value to our house when we retire and sell it.

Large deposit for a summer's worth of care. Seen the truck ONCE. Have tried to contact the salesman via phone & email. No response. These people are a rip off. Do not even talk with them. He was certainly Johnny On The Spot when I contacted them for service.

I am very pleased with the service (tree and bush applications) provided thus far and appreciate the information provided on the sheet if I am not home at that particular time. Service men are also very polite and informative if I have a question.

Hired TruGreen in the summer of 2016. I paid for a full year of treatment upfront, which was a huge mistake. Lo and behold their attempt to aerate and seed in the beginning of August was an exercise in futility. I contacted the office and expressed my concern about the timing of the seeding and they assured me that the seed would take and that if I had any problems to give them a call. Lo and behold the seed did not take and after numerous phone calls with no return followup I was left with a yard that did not look any different from a year ago. Don't waste your time with TruGreen, I was informed by other landscapers that TruGreen overbooks customers and subsequently applies treatments that are not conducive to the time and season leaving many homeowners dissatisfied.

Horrible lawn maintenance service, almost dropped the company last year, but a manager came out and told me things would get better, and they did for a short time. Weeds are prolific, am told there is nothing they can do. Then the soil is blamed, then the drought. Why is it that other lawns in the neighborhood are green and beautiful? I have the shrub and tree also, and the mites are always attacking my flowering shrubs? I call, they spray only about half. Not a good company anymore, will find something else... ripoff.

I signed up with TruGreen the fall of 2016. Cancelled services today and requested a full refund. Lawn looks worse than when we started. Customer service is not helpful. Called corporate and had a manager come out and he agreed the lawn did not look good, gave us a free aeration and seeding. It's been 2 weeks and I still have seed and even more weeds. Shop around, ask your neighbors, see what others are using because this company did not provide the services we were promised. Hopefully it won't take months to get our refund!

I have been a customer of TruGreen for a number of years now and I will be looking for a new company for my lawn care. I am dedicated to an organic lawn program and TruGreen followed that for a while. The last treatment was made at the end of April when I was away for several days. When I got back on May 1st I looked at the customer ticket and was angry when I saw they had applied two pesticides which were in no way organic compliant.

TruGreen has been a reliable lawn service; my technician will make me aware of any additional services and if I decline the service at the time, I am given the option to look into getting the additional service without having to experience nagging sales pitches.

Always prompt, courteous service, taking the time to make sure my dog is in the house. Service Tech is always willing to answer any questions that I may have. He is quick and careful about yard and "obstacles", never any problems. Lawn is great so far.

It was a new technician. He was friendly and competent. I failed to talk to him because of an appointment. He did an excellent job but did not quite get to the edges of my yard. My yard has so significantly improved after 2 seasons of using TruGreen. It had not been cared for (fertilizer and weeds) for many years!

BEWARE of this lawn service company if you live in Northern Virginia. I contracted with TruGreen, located on Commerce Center Ct. Dulles VA, branch 5403, service manager **, in March 2017 to service my approximately 6 acres of lawn. I paid for my entire program in advance which specified that my first treatment, before April 13, was to be lime and starter fertilizer only. No weed killer or pre-emergent was to be applied as I was having aeration and overseeding applied on the 13th.

My lawn and shrubbery have never looked so good. I am extremely pleased with the service and results. I am constantly reminded of how my yard looked two years ago when I look at my neighbor's yard. I only wish I had begun service years ago when I moved in.

Was rip off by TruGreen lawn Service. Didn't complete service as promised... There have been four no shows, very disappointing, wouldn't recommend this Company ever never. Taken advantage of a 100% disabled Veteran, never received a Manager call back. I high recommend Seniors to be aware of this Company. They give you the run around so you give up calling back.

I hired TruGreen to take care of my lawn in Valdosta, Ga. I was told it was 29.95 for the first service call. The rep, who didn't live in Valdosta he lives about 75 miles away, told me it was 29.95 and made several recommendations, including plugs for the bare spots in my lawn. I agreed to the information he gave me and they came out and sprayed my lawn about a week later. My first bill was 85 bucks, and I called and asked why. He said they pre-bill for the next month and I was okay with that. Yesterday, a moron from the company came to my house and didn't know where the plugs were supposed to go. Fortunately, my wife was home and able to tell him "where there's no grass." Duh. I got a call from the salesman during this process who said "I don't have my drawings, do you know where you need the plugs?" I said "maybe where there's no grass", duh.

Most (bad) reviews here are very accurate and address most of the issues: bad techs, overuse of harmful chemicals (it's in the name for Pete's sake!) and pushy telemarketers. My guess is that the 5 star reviews apply to those "newer" customers. We started out as a "Scott's" customers several years ago. The Scott's products were great and my lawn never looked better. However, prices started to get out of hand, so we switched to TruGreen/Chemlawn (about 7 years ago). The lawn looked good for about 2 years and then it went quickly downhill. (No pun intended!)

I knew as soon as I heard that Scott Lawn Care was merging into TruGreen there would be trouble. And I was right. They never show up as scheduled. We were told they would be here on April 11, May 8th and May12th. Today they were right next door (another unhappy customer) and they never knocked on our door, let alone actually treat the grass. And they just drove away. So I called them up and cancelled the service contract. Someone by the name of "Amy" answered and offered 50% off next treatment. I told her "No, you could offer me free treatments for the rest of the year and the answer is still no." With that, her tone changed and her attitude became more sarcastic in nature. "There have been 3 times that we were told you were coming, and 3 times you were a no call/no show... You're fired." She said, "Ok," and the call ended. I am sure they will start calling us soon offering a reduced rate and the answer will always be no.

I subscribe to just the tree and shrub service. I really enjoy letting TruGreen take care of this aspect of my yard maintenance. Making sure the trees and shrubs are healthy is an important part of making a yard look nice, but it can require the purchase of special treatments that are expensive and only needed once a year. TruGreen takes care of all that for me, so I can take care of the rest of the yard.

I am very happy with my lawn, I hired TruGreen a few years ago and since then I have had a lawn that is thicker and greener. I always get a call letting me know the specialist will be coming. They always ring my doorbell to make me aware that they are here. The specialist will let me know what treatment they will give the grass. They always leave me a note letting me know what they have done. The specialist that comes to my house always takes care of answering my questions.

I have had TruGreen lawn service and still my lawn looks like weeds with sprinkle of grass. I called them in January as soon as I saw a few weeds. They came and applied the weed control... Nothing happened. My lawn started getting worse. Called again stating that did not see any change, they came and reapplied the chemicals. Instead of my lawn getting better, it got worst.

This is the best service I have had. I have experienced poor service from a number of lawn service providers. The report provided after each application is less than specific to my lawn - lots of boiler plate language - but they have responded when I call about a problem specific to my lawn. My front lawn grass has improved significantly. There is a decline in the grass at the rear of my property. I plan to call them today to discuss this. The technician was at my home this week but I was not available at that time. Our Florida weather presents a challenge for grass, especially this year - hotter than usual and dryer than usual. Lawns are stressed.

I am very satisfied with TruGreen because I am very much a senior therefore, doing the things that TruGreen does is no longer a option for me. The employees have always treated me with respect and courteous. They explain what they are doing and why. Yes I would recommend your company

My lawn has never been greener. I don't mind mowing when it has such good green color and is nice and thick. A field of dandelion nearby and none of them made it into my yard. Service staff is friendly and courteous.

We have been here only 1.5 years and the yard had been badly neglected prior to our purchase. So it has improved a lot, but we have had to have the lawn treated, aeration performed and trees and bushes sprayed. A lot to do. Just takes time for all these treatments to the yard to show an improvement.

I love getting a notice via phone and/or email. I would prefer not to take a call, but that is probably in my settings. A text and email is great. Also, I like the paper notices left, but they tend to be very generic and similar each time. A true evaluation of things that show some originality would be welcomed. And what I always want to know: When can I water, and what is danger to kids and pets? I do not always get that information. Maybe as well, it would be great to see a bit of a tentative schedule of the summer months. I know it must be a challenge to adhere to it, but to get an idea into my phone.

When I began TruGreen lawn service, I had a significant broadleaf weed infestation. One year later that problem is non-existent. My lawn is now vibrant. Early on, when I requested an extra spot weed treatment, my specialist came back quickly to give me the service. My experience has been very satisfactory, one annual payment gets the job done with great results and no hassle.

I had asked for the clovers in my lawn to be treated and TruGreen did a great job treating them and I think those weedy areas are now ready for some grass seed. I am pleased with the progress of my lawn.

The lawn looks much better already this year than last year. Our specialist comes when he's supposed to and is on time. He was very friendly and professional and did his job completely and quickly. He seemed to know just what the lawn needed and it looks so much better already. I think we are getting our money's worth. The specialist even remembered to close and lock the gate to the backyard without our having to tell him and that is very important to us as we have 2 very small dogs which cannot be allowed out of the backyard due to the busy nature of the road on which we live.

Only negative is that the weed killing product does not control all types of weeds. Most but not all. Application schedule is very reliable and they will come back to reapply application if a heavy rain occurred after application and the product was leeched into the soil.

All lawn service companies depend on their service technician to satisfy the customer. The young gentleman who handles my account is a 5 star performer & TruGreen should ensure that they hold onto him.

TruGreen has taken care of my yard for over 2 years. They have done a good job keeping my grass in good health. The two most recent services were done by Johnie who had great attention to details while working on the grass.

We were scheduled for a mosquito treatment last Friday (we have prepaid for all of the mosquito treatments) May 19th. We rearranged our schedule in order to receive this treatment. By 5 pm no one had showed up. I called and they said someone would still come, they work until dark. No one came. I called again Monday to complain, they said it had been unscheduled for some reason. I said "Well it needs to be rescheduled." I have heard nothing since...

Clean, quick and thorough service with immediate results favorable to my yard. Using this service minimized the risks that I use to take when I managed my yard maintenance. Now all have to do is trim the grass and keep the lawn watered. It looks great!

Last fall my wife contracted with TruGreen to service our yard. The front yard has always been a struggle, but the back yard has always been great. After scheduled visits from their technicians, spring came around and we noticed several areas where the grass was no longer growing and we now had this strange new grass growing in the front yard. We have lived here almost 18 years and this is the worst the yard has ever looked. We stopped all service and requested an on site visit from a supervisor. After 2 months we cancelled contract, then magically a representative called. We informed them we no longer wanted their service. The neighbors on both sides of us have beautiful lawns, so this was no disease as technician tried to claim, and where did the strange new grass come from?

Have given this company a chance (almost one year) and have a worse looking lawn than when I started. Have complained and received return visits but still lawn has weeds and now we have a mole or something tunneling in the yard. Have a huge dead spot where the lawn used to look lush and green 5 days after they sprayed but the weeds in that dead grass spot are still living. Was promised a call back from a manager and it's been over a week and no manager. Tech wrote that it was due to the drought we are in - but just on the other side of the property line there is a city owned park that does not have a sprinkler system and it has greener spots than I do and I run my sprinkler system and am paying a company (TRUGREEN) to ensure a green lawn. It has been a waste of money and time trying to get satisfaction.

The gate to the backyard was left open. Fortunately, we discovered it before we let the dog out. Our neighbor spotted it and warned us. Otherwise, everything else was fine. I don't like to nitpick, but please help us out and leave the gates closed.

I subscribe to the year round service and have for years. My lawn is one of the best in the neighborhood. People stop when walking by and comment on how thick my grass is. I also use the tree and shrub service and find they are disease free. It took about two years to get my lawn in the shape it's in now. I also think it's better for the environment because they do not over apply chemicals or store them haphazardly.

I am pleased with the overall appearance of my lawn. Although I did not meet the technician in person last visit, he did write down a few comments. One that my lawn mower blade was dull and that is why I get brown tips on my grass. I have since sharpened my blades and the brown tips have gotten noticeably better. I do take issue of two other comments. One that my lawn is heavily compacted. Last fall I rented a power aerator and made several passes in both directions over the entire lawn. This was one of your recommendations. The other was that some brown spots were caused by pet urine. I do not own a pet and my neighbor's dogs do not venture in my yard. I am just curious on how he arrives at his assumptions. Does he test for these things or are they just opinions. Overall I am pleased with the service and how well my lawn has responded to your treatments.

Brian ** has been doing my lawn for years. He does a great job and is always very courteous and helpful. He is always good about telling what needs to be done to keep the lawn looking good. He takes care of my lawn very efficiently.

I just had my first application done and the technician was great, explained the process to me thoroughly and what I should expect in terms of results. He also gave me tips on what I can do to help with the process. I was shocked by the cost as it was much cheaper than I expected it would be and how friendly everyone has been.

I am absolutely Happy with the TruGreen Service. Starting using them last October, my lawn was a mess covered with weeds, barely any grass. We are now the best on my street. TruGreen Professional are truly experts in their field. My neighbors even commented of how great our lawn looks, so green. They are very attentive to our concerns, they do not hesitate to act. We had a year contract with TruGreen a couple of years ago. They showed up and put out weed killer or fertilizer from time to time. The fertilizer helped and maybe the weed killer worked somewhat but that is not the real complaint. A few months after the last treatment, we noticed a grass we had never seen in our yard popping up here and there. Didn't think much about it at the time but with the spring rains it has exploded. Areas that were solid Bermuda grass has this stuff all in it. I highly suspect that one of the fertilizer treatments was loaded with some sort of fine fescue seed and now my yard is covered in a grass that I don't want. Some got over in my neighbor's yard and I don't think he is going to be happy either.

Lawn is looking good and he advised that I cut it a bit longer in order to get rid of the Creeping Charlie. If this doesn't work then he advised on a service call to specifically treat the Creeping Charlie. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. In the past, I have had problems with changing the day of treatment.

This is very simple. I had an established lawn service for over a decade. I made the giant mistake of giving into the TruGreen salesman who offered a lower price. This was a little over a year ago. In that time period, TruGreen took a beautiful lawn and destroyed it. My lawn is nothing but weeds now. I have been calling and complaining for over 3 months. I have been lied to countless times. It is crystal clear their technicians have no clue what they are doing. I am being harassed by my homeowners association about the condition of my lawn. I was told for over a month that someone would be contacting me and visiting my property to review the issues. I was called ONCE by a guy named Tim who said he was coming out the next day. I never heard from or saw Tim.

Our lawn looks amazing. We have neighbors on the west side that have a patch of clover and dandelions covering their front lawn, there is a distinctive line between the edge of their lawn and ours. The neighbors on the north side of us use another company to fertilize their lawn and spray for weeds and their lawn always looks burned when the company leaves, not to mention the smell. I have been pleased to notice that our lawn doesn't have the chemically smell or a burnt look to it when our specialists leaves. We are not usually home when they come to our house so they leave their notes on the door. I like getting a paper version of the service so I can review it when I get home. It's available online too, however, I rarely go into my account online to check the service notes for each visit.

We bought our home 3 years ago and our yard/grass was mostly creeping charlie, dandelions and clover. We started using TruGreen just last Spring, so, we haven't actually used them yet for an entire year, but our yard already looks so much better! There are still dandelions, but compared to what it was last year, it really looks great! No signs of creeping charlie yet, either! We're hopeful that with a little more time, all the weeds will be gone and our yard will look just amazing. I've only spoken to the specialist a few times, but when I did, he was very helpful and professional.

I walked out to my truck at 8:30 am to start it, and the TruGreen truck was parked out front. They were prompted, and the service tech stopped from treating lawn to say good morning! He also asked if I had any questions regarding lawn. Their representation is very orderly and clean. They are specific about what they do! My lawn is free of weeds and with a lush dark green color for a lawn! My neighbor and I are the only two on our block that uses TruGreen, and it shows no other lawn comes close to the rich look! The value is worth it! I've tried store bought fertilizers and. Ever got this results!

I am happy with TruGreen. The specialist always leaves tips on what to do and sometimes I listen depending on what it is I want done. My lawn looks good so far this season. It is very easy to schedule a service. The monthly payment is a little high but that 's okay as long as my lawn keeps looking as good as it do. I will always keep TruGreen as my lawn service specialists. Never again will I leave and go to a competitor.

I am beyond upset with TruGreen. I pre-paid for my front and back lawn. My back lawn never gets service. I would like a refund. TruGreen cannot make up the service that has been missed on my backyard. I am tired of this.

I have called twice about all of the weeds in my yard since TruGreen took over for Scotts Lawn service. Both times I have been told that the hot weather will kill the poa annua weeds that are everywhere. I don't pay for hot weather, I pay TruGreen to kill the weeds that they did not prevent coming up. As soon as I find another Lawn service, I will switch. Never use TruGreen. My neighbors have already canceled with them.

The yard has improved greatly over the years with TruGreen's yard service. Have been a customer for at least seven years and each year the yard has made good gains. We have even used TruGreen's services for our shrubs and trees.

I am an angry customer of TruGreen. My complaint goes back months, even years. In the fall of 2016, I chose not to aerate my backyard because of the drought. I planted Rye grass to hold the dirt in place because I literally had very few sprigs of grass although I watered several times last summer. The Rye grass came up beautifully and my yard looked good throughout the winter.

The tech that came out to do the initial service was friendly, courteous and answered all my questions that a new customer would naturally have. He explained all of the different applications and their timing. I felt good that this was and will be a good value for the money.

I have been a customer of TruGreen since 2004. I hired TruGreen to take care of my 3 acre lawn, so I did not have to. The last 2 years have been a nightmare to get my lawn serviced in the spring. In 2016, April and May I made 14 calls to the Waukesha Wisconsin division to get my service started and it was late May when they finally showed up, only after I talked to at least 10 different people. I heard everything from the new computer system is not working, to "We currently do not have large enough equipment to do your lawn." Funny thing 3 neighbors have TruGreen and they got their lawns done in early May!

I have used TruGreen now for 4 years. My initial contact was to address an aggressive Creeping Charley and Wild Violet infestation that I could not eradicate over the years myself. The representative assessed the yard and suggested a plan to address those T2 issues and an overall lawn care program. The Creeping Charley and Wild Violet issues was 80% eradicated the first year and totally eradicated by the end of the 2 year. I was also very happy with how the general condition of the lawn had also improved. So, I continue to use TruGreen.

Booked, paid for 5 sprays, goofed up appointment date, called 3 more times before someone finally set up correct appointment. Then they came out and the driver was given wrong information and could not do the spray because my lawn was too big!!! Really, they said they were looking at a satellite picture of my lawn when I booked it. $300 later I cancelled! They need to get their act together and stop with the national phone center and no way to get a hold of personal business spraying. Now I have to find another company... TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES IF THAT IS POSSIBLE. I own a business and if I gave as poor of service as they do I would be out of business.

We signed up with TruGreen 8 months ago. I suspect we were overcharged for service from the beginning. The 800 number seemed to have our lot square footage and I think- but do not absolutely know- that we were charged on that. Problem, we leave about 20 to 25% of the lot natural and wooded and that area is never treated. After 8 months, the yard looks the worst it has EVER looked. We have weeds we never had before this year. Spring brought us LOTS of blooming weeds and I have the pictures to prove it.

I have never experienced such poor & unresponsive customer service in my 71 years on this earth. Despite no manager showing up this past Monday as promised & killing my entire day waiting, I never got a return call after trying to reach him many times. I was going away Monday for my wife's birthday & was promised a tree & shrub treatment by 10 a.m. No one showed, so I called and was given the service technicians phone number and was told in addition that they would message him. He claimed he received no call (his phone was not answered, had no voicemail). He said he received no messages from the office as I was told happened twice.

Recently TruGreen came & took care of my lawn -- and my trees & shrubs. The voicemail from "Trudy" stated when they would be here, and then on that day, they came. Always dependable. If the weather was not right, and they could not come, they don't forget, and they will call again & Trudy would give the new date & time. Their techs are very nice (that's when I get to see them -- I'm not always there), and they are very thorough in their work.

The specialist was timely, courteous and efficient. I appreciate the care and attention given to my lawn. He is very thorough and responsive to any concerns and/or suggestions I might have. My lawn is excellent, admired in the neighborhood, and a credit to the services of TruGreen.

I had discussed scheduling with a TruGreen regional manager moving applications to Thursday or Friday. My grandson mows our lawn on either Tuesday or Wednesday and applications on those day would be lost by the mowing. Future applications are being moved to Thursdays. Very good response to my request. The last application was done professionally. Juan ** knocked on our door but we knew it was TruGreen and didn't answer the door. Mr. ** went about his job applying the fertilizer and broadleaf control in an expert manner as expected.

Aeration and overseed service performed last fall to remove bald lawn patches. Patches are still here in spring. Made 4 phone calls requesting someone to visit site and repair or advise next steps. This has occurred over 4 weeks and every week they promise resolution but no one Ever shows up.

I went online hoping to gather pricing without having to talk to anyone. The minute I entered my info, my phone rang. A TruGreen sales rep. After getting quoted for services that I had to remind her I didn't want or need, I told her I needed to think about it and if she wanted me call her back to give me her name and number. She got extremely aggressive, abrasively telling me that I won't find services for less anywhere and that they would customize the service for my price range. I told her, "I am interested but need to call back so if you want me to call you, give me your name and number." She got really mad at this point and told me that all she needed was my credit card, I just hung up. Too aggressive for me. We sign with a local service for 1/2 what they wanted for the same service.

I hate hate TruGreen, Greensboro NC... Boycott. Do not use TruGreen for your lawn care. They will scam you and take more money from you without approval of their lawn services. I have a complaint and awareness, I want everyone to know how horrible and dishonest I was treated by TruGreen. Please be aware and read this complaint. TruGreen is a scam.

I was not home when the TruGreen technician serviced my lawn, but when I got home, I noticed the TruGreen's note tied to my front door with what was done to my lawn and several recommendations s/he had for me. The TruGreen service, coupled with the recommendations given and acted upon, make my lawn "the best on my block".

We have used TruGreen for 6 years. We are very pleased with their service. Our lawn is lush green, has no dandelions in the spring, and appears thick with grass even in the low moisture weeks of the summer. They notify us in advance of their coming, leave a note with what they did when finished. We trust their knowledge of when to come again and we are not disappointed. We pay in advance to take advantage of the discount. We have had several different specialists. We were displeased with the service and care taken by one, but with kind complaints, he was removed from our service. Thanks, TruGreen.
