Grass is greener and looking much better than the last 3 years. Very few weeds and mushrooms. Very happy we decided to go with TruGreen we were ready to tear it up and have sod replaced. So far so good!

Always cooperative and easy to deal with. Technicians are great people. Our lawn looks good and NO MORE MOSQUITOES! I am prone mosquitoes finding and biting me. It’s especially not polite of the mosquitoes since I have “skin lupus.” Itchy, itchy and leaves scars.

The service has been very good up to this point. The shrubs and grass are growing full and green. We do have wild violets growing in the lawn and would like them to be eliminated if possible. Thank you for the service.

My lawn, trees and shrubs are in great hands with TruGreen. My neighbors tell me I have the best looking house on the block! Our house was built on a "wet lot", and keeping the lawn, trees and shrubs healthy, and after this winter, upright we had a small tree and a large evergreen that was part of our back fence privacy, that fell out of the ground, with root balls intact! Their service is great and I would highly recommend them.

The technicians are always pleasant and professional but the results are only marginal. Weeds continue to appear and the grass is sparse in other areas and not seem to be spreading. We have had aeration and overseeding in the past.

Overall, TruGreen has fair prices and timely and friendly service. However, after quite a few months of service, the health of the lawn has been inconsistent due to crabgrass and other preventable items. The attention to detail seems absent, given the “mass production” feel of the service. What good is pre-emergent if it doesn’t work? Golf courses manage to avoid crabgrass, so it certainly is within reason to expect thick, weed free grass with the services we buy from TruGreen. I definitely believe that my yard has been improved by TruGreen, but I do not believe that the service has produced outstanding or consistent results.

I would recommend this service to anyone I get compliments on our lawn. When I call and discuss my problem, I receive very good and professional customer service. Very good job. The technician that comes to the house are very knowledgeable about what to with the lawn. Keep it up.

I was a little apprehensive about using TruGreen because of negative feedback. So when the Tech arrived for my 1st application, I questioned him about some bad feedback. He was very professional and answered my questions honestly in a nonscripted manner. He was very responsive to my needs. I said, "Let’s proceed and see what happens." I figure it’s going to take a couple of seasons to renew my lawn. The key is to listen to their instructions and water!

Very disorganized business, didn't get through the setup phase due to constant continual call by the company. Total of FIVE calls from them, and still they needed to call me one more time to set up my account. After I filled out inquiry form, I was called once and agreed on service. Two minutes after, I was called again by different person wanting to set me up. Kindly I told that person I had already been contacted and signed up.

Will be looking to see improvements in my shrubs and plants in the next few months, was told this treatment would, only had one application so far, I know it will take time. Have always been happy with the yard service that I have had for many years.

When I first started with this company my goal was to rid my yard of weeds/sticker bushes or briar patches. This was achieved. In the process it created many bald spots in my yard. That is to be expected however I was told grass would now grow in those places due to their follow up treatment. A year or so later this has not happened. We have personally spent @ $500+ on hay and seed ourselves to correct this issue. When we brought this up to TruGreen we were told a “lawn tech expert” would come out to evaluate the problem to see what can be done. Well the ‘expert’ was the same young man that previously did our mosquito treatment and at the time (I think was in March 2018) he had been with TruGreen @ 90 days according to him. We now have little to no confidence TruGreen will solve this problem or even CARES to do so. We will make a decision on our next course of action by the end of July 2018. We will also submit pics.

I don't like having a different tech each time. I very seldom get the same one. I have had some really good ones and some whom are still on the JV Team. I worked 14 years in pest control including lawn service so I am familiar with what they should be doing. I have prepaid so I will stick it out for the rest of the year but will probably not continue after that. I will shop around for a different company.

Lawn care treatment including adding color and thickness to a lawn that had been depleted since it was first planted. The lawn care specialist that came out seemed to be especially nice and knowledgeable about their job. Thanks for reviving my lawn!

My lawn has never looked so good! Thank you TruGreen. I love that on the weekends I can spend time with the family and not have to spend countless hours maintaining my lawn. I am amazed that in short time you have turned my lawn into one of the best looking lawns in my neighborhood.

Our specialist Jason came on 7/18/2018 treated both our front and back yard. The next morning only 1 worm in the pool where we had been seeing 8-10. By 7/20/2018 we had no worms in the pool. We could not be any more pleased. Jason does a wonderful job. Our lawn looks great!!!

The workers at TruGreen are always very courteous & do a great job on my yard. I appreciate everything they do. When I am home, they ask if I have any questions on the service that they just performed. Thanks again.

My yard is awesome this year because of TruGreen... It free of weeds and bright green and thick... I have been with TruGreen for 4 years and love the company and their employees. My friends always ask who does my yard.

The TruGreen experience has been extremely frustrating! First, it takes at least 48 hours or longer to be able to talk to a person in the service area office. The first technician we had was great and after 3 applications the yard was starting to look good. Then on June 15th, the technician DESTROYED the turf. Don't know if he over applied a chemical or had mixed something wrong, but it took 2 weeks to get an area manager out to look at the yard.

Service seemed to be more treating weeds than fertilizing etc. Treated weeds on both initial visits. Nothing has been done on reseeding bare spots in lawn. I wish agent would communicate with us and tell us what to expect from that particular application. In all fairness we have only had two visits covering four months of time.

Unfortunately for me my experience with TruGreen was not as positive as many on this review site. I have been taking care of my own lawn for the last 10 years with great success. I decided to outsource the lawn care this year to TruGreen as I recently started a new business and have less time available to manage my lawn. My lawn soon became overrun by weeds. I called TruGreen early on to advise that the weed problem on my lawn was starting to get out of control.

We had trouble with grubs and TruGreen was quick to remedy that problem! Thank you! They are on time and I don't need to be home when they come! They always leave a note of what they've done! Very helpful! I would receive them to my friends!

I had the customer service line twice. I was told I would get a phone call back but it never happened. I was also scheduled on 7/17 for someone to come to my home. I had the day free from work but no one showed. I then found out it was rescheduled to 7/19 but no one told me at the time.

I am very happy with the service. This summer here has been very bad in that we have had no rain and all lawns are burned out. Aside from this year my lawns have been beautiful. Green and weed free. My neighbors have had lawns full of dandelions while mine remains free of them. They always show up when they say they will be there. If I have a concern about anything with the lawn. One message to them is responded to immediately and taken care of quickly at no extra charge. Very pleased with the service!

Text to us: "We are coming out - no one needs to be home." Techs show up on time and complete their work, easy peasy and gone! I couldn’t ask for more efficient and easy service to get my lawn looking like I want it to look!

I had TruGreen service in 2017 with very good results. This year I didn't call them until July. The tech came for one treatment. After 10 days no signs of weeds dying or struggling to live. I called for an additional, no cost. Treatment. I called two times and scheduled. ON two occasions the tech did not show up, even though I received several emails, service today, between 12 and 5, and be there soon... Called. No one knew why no show. I spoke to someone in my local, Alcoa, TN office who said she could contact the manager. NO response, I just received a call that I am scheduled for a service tomorrow. I do not expect him to show. It seems someone would be tracking what is going on when a tech does not make his calls.

Matt from TruGreen and I spoke about our shrubs and bushes on Th July 12 and set Wed July 18 as the day for our service since I wanted to do a walk-around with the provider. Matt said the service would be injections at the base of each bush and tree and that the service person would call me one hour before arrival. After staying home on the 18th, I received a robocall saying they would do the service on the 19th. I called the office who said they would call me back (they never did). I talked with Matt and rescheduled for Friday afternoon 20th. At 7:30 am on the 19th, my husband answered the doorbell, and I got out of the shower and met Don, the service person.

Service provided at my home is efficient and covers each season of the year. I am satisfied the lawn is cared for with wise product choices and customized for my front & backyard. The specialist who worked on my lawn was friendly and answered all the questions I asked. Thank you!

I have had your shrub treatment for two years and I have noticed that my plants look healthier. I believe enough time has elapsed to make an accurate statement about the health of my plants. If I was home, The technician was knowledgeable about plant health care.

The men did a good job of aerating my yard and I plan to re-seed some areas. All of the workers are very polite and seem to want to do a good job. The fertilizing seems to be thorough and I hope to have a nice lawn soon.

I’m very impressed with JOHN ** who knocked at my door twice and did a professional job treating my annoying bagworms and other scrubs. He was very considerate and answered all my questions very well. I will recommend your company to my friends.

My lawn during the spring look great. I am now seeing crabgrass and weed and a few weeks ago after the last visit the lawn developed some yellow spots. I have been watering daily. The lawn at this point looks no better than when I was caring for it myself.

I like how they are willing to come back and rectify the problem. It means a lot. They are willing to fix everything. There is still a lot of work to do to rectify the past issue but They have admitted the issue and are willing to fix it. It would have been nice if they did it right the first time, we are all willing to move on.

It had been an awful experience. You cannot get in direct contact with the local branch without calling the call center. The tech fertilized my lawn twice in 1 week and burnt my lawn. They were supposed to come do a weed treatment because it couldn't be done due to heat on the first day and they did another service without weed control. They had to come out a 3rd time for the weed control treatment. The results of the treatment were not good as well. The road supervisor recommended that I fertilize in between services to get the green grass I'm looking for.

I am writing to Mr. R. David Alexander, CEO of TruGreen: Please help me! I cannot get an adequate response from your call center. They promise to come out to re-treat and so far have failed to arrive on 3 separate occasions; they promise to call me - they don't. The technician doesn't treat all of what used to be lawn. I have more weeds than grass - I have areas which are now just dirt. Where are your TruGreen PhD certified specialists who will evaluate my lawn with your TruGreen Healthy Lawn Analysis® and design a tailored approach to give my lawn exactly what it needs at exactly the right time. What is the point of your TruGreen® Healthy Lawn Guarantee® if you do not gladly (or otherwise) visit my property as often as needed between scheduled visits to make any necessary adjustments and to ensure my satisfaction.

Signed up a little late in the beginning of the year. However, I am very happy with the results to date and the service. Great staff and prompt service. I would recommend to anyone who would like to have a green lawn.

We are happy with our service. The only issue we have been noticing is more crabgrass in our front lawn. We hadn’t experienced this with the company we used prior. We hope that this issue gets taken care of over time.

I’ve spoken to a customer service rep in direct response to a previous survey, in which I rated my experience a 2 out of 10. Since, I’ve received another treatment and my lawn has not responded. These weeds have taken over various portions of my lawn and seem completely and utterly impervious to whatever TruGreen has tried to do.

So unhappy with TruGreen, they absolutely destroyed my lawn on July 2nd! Had the Manager come out and there has been no lawn repair to date. I will tell every one I know... never to use TruGreen. I have been a customer for almost 20 years and this is the service I get? Absolutely horrific! What more can I say? They applied granular and dumped excessive amounts all over the yard detoxing the grass. And nothing done. So unhappy. Total destruction. I want action now, before it destroys more of my yard, yet nothing is happening. Just awful...

We have a tree and shrub contract with TruGreen and couldn’t be happier. William **, our TruGreen technician is extremely knowledgeable about plants and trees, what they need, what diseases they may be sensitive to, and what insects are attracted to them, and he takes all appropriate prophylactic and treatment actions. The reason we keep renewing our tree and shrub contract with TruGreen is because of the highly professional care Mr. ** provides to us.

We gave the serviceman great scores two days after his visit. Now we're not so sure. Our yard is now striped!!! We have alternating stripes (about 3-4 feet wide) of dark green and lighter green grass. The application wasn't done right. This is true for both front and back yards. Also, there is a circle of burned grass on a part of the backyard where the application was too heavy.

My yard has shown no improvement. Weeds everywhere. Bare spots. Will not use TruGreen next year. Will try it myself. Whatever chemicals are being used are totally ineffective. No one has come out to inspect and offer solutions.

Concern with the spread of basket weave weed. Was done well last year, so what happen this year??? I have brought it up several times, told it would be corrected, still looking for results. So you tell me!

My lawn has never looked this bad, many brown areas and seems to be a pattern of holes! I requested last week for someone to come out and evaluate. I have not seen anyone come out, or if they did they didn't leave me any paperwork saying they were here!

The company gave me a window today for my service of 7-12! Well they showed up at 11:55! I have to be here as my gate has a lock on it I need to remove! They make one pass of my yard and say they can’t aerate newly sodded yards! The sod has been down for 4 months and they know it’s sod, they are the ones who suggested it be aerated and have been here multiple times to treat my sod!! So I wasted half of my day! Never again! Just put stop on my card so they can no longer charge me, and have a new company coming tomorrow! And calling customer service? Forget it! They are the worst!!!

TruGreen suppose to treat my lawn a few weeks ago but they kept canceling multiple times and now my lawn turned into yellow and weeds are spreading and in some spots grass dying. Made repeated calls and escalated the issue several times including going to the TruGreen office in Londonderry, NH but no resolution yet. I had friends and families come over the past weekend and they were all asking how come my lawn is looking bad but my neighbors’ lawn look good even though my lawn getting serviced by a professional company. I have never seen such a terrible response like TruGreen. Very unhappy with TruGreen service.

I had TruGreen last year and had a positive experience so I continued it and it has been horrible. I paid in advance for the discount. I received an email and my first lawn treatment appropriately. About two months went by and I did not receive another treatment. I called customer service. The woman I spoke to was very nice. Apologized and said the technician forgot or was sick. She said she would credit me for the serviced missed as it was too late to do it. She also said that she would have them do the next service of weed control and FERTILIZER in the next week at no charge to me. I clarified this twice with her that it was for this next visit of fertilizer and weed control in addition to not being charged for the no show session and she assured me of this. This was more than fair and I ended the conversation happy.

I've been a TruGreen customer for over 20 years. Lately, I've been working from home when they have come to service the lawn. Often the receipt will say that they knocked and there was no answer when I actually watched them pull up and never knock. The latest is that they did not knock as they said and they also said they closed the fence when done. Since I was home watching, I know that the tech did not enter the backyard, fence was not touched. The Tech also wrote my lawn was full of mushrooms and when I look I don't even find 1. I think they just have pre-typed comments that get printed on the receipt depending on what they did to your lawn or what they selected. The Tech isn't actually typing anything and nothing is actually specific to your lawn at all. When I call about this they say they will have someone come out and re-do it.

When TruGreen came to apply a weed killer treatment, it killed many strips of my lawn because apparently the potency was set too high. After 8 phone calls, 2 complaints to the home service person and an email to the company, nothing was ever done. No response at all! I will never use their service again.

I have a 390 square foot front yard. TruGreen was charging me for 1700 sq foot lawn. When I noticed and called it to their attention after several treatments, they once again came and charged me for 1700 square feet. They said they could not refund me the difference in cost... $44 vs. $190. Instead they offered me one free lawn service worth $44.

TruGreen has recently acquired our lawn care company, Green T, here in the Chicagoland area. The transition has been quite painful. Unfortunately, our lawn has some sort of disease which based on our own research could be a fungus of some sort. I immediately called TruGreen to have a specialist come out to look at it. It took 6 days to get someone out after repeated frantic calls. Each day that goes by, more of the lawn is dying. The service agent took pictures, said he had no idea what it was (!) and would have someone call me.

After a recent service the technician left a note saying my yard was full of weeds. I know that. I have been a customer of yours for many years and have been asking for you to rid my yard of weeds and get grass growing. So, the ball is in your court. Fix it, or lose a long term customer. My yard can look good, before I became old and disabled it did.

The only suggestion that I have constantly relayed to your company is that of scheduling - even though there are 5 houses in my block - the scheduler does give the service men the same area and sends multiple trucks to the same block on different days - seems wasteful of company resources as I assume this practice is throughout the QCA.

I noticed some brown spots growing all around the house. I emailed and inquired about how this could happen. TruGreen sent a technician out the next day. He noted the spots, put some fertilizer on the entire yard, and Mother Nature provided the water! Less than a week later, the yard was once again lush and green! Thanks TruGreen!

Even though I rarely see the service agent, I read the documentation and recommendations. The billing is clear and new services are detailed as well as problem areas. With every change of weather the appropriate care recommendations make sense. I am happy with the service.

The technician did a great job and answered questions I had about some concerns. She the necessary time plus a little extra regarding issues I had. She took some extra time to solve the issues I had about lawn care.

I don't think it's necessary to tell you how bad TruGreen Indian Trail is. I'll just post my pictures and you can judge for yourself. They spilled fertilizer all over the grass and killed it. They spilled fertilizer in the street and left it. I had to sweep it up so our pets and other animals wouldn't be poisoned. We have repeatedly called TruGreen and sent emails requesting someone come out and fix our grass. This was not the first time they spilled fertilizer either. No one has been out. No one has called back. No one cares. Terrible customer service. We're cancelling our service with them too. Oh yeah, we received a bill for their terrible service.

I received a call the day before the tech came out to apply the summer booster of fertilizer. By doing that I was able to clean up the yard of dog treasures and anything laying around. The tech came, gave me some pointers on what to do to help improve our yard. The yard looks the best it's been ever.

Our yard has always been a problem. Multi-level and never properly graded. TruGreen is doing an excellent job with our yard. We have shrubs and trees and they care for them, too. Our shrubs and trees are growing and are giving us privacy.

My lawn looks worse now than it ever did in 21 years. I called the service because I had weeds. They killed the weeds and the grass. I have brown spots all over. I called them and they said they would come back to fix the problem and they never did. They claim they never had an order to come back. So I would never recommend them to anyone!! They are not what they claim to be.

Call weekly to see when my next service is (haven’t had one since April - supposed to be once a month). Every time I’m given a date. Sometimes Trudy calls to tell me my lawn care specialist will be out. Sometimes she doesn’t. Each time, no one shows. I call back and get the sand run around. Had the same problem in past years. Not sure if it’s our local office or not but something needs to be done from upper management. Horrible service.

Overall I have been satisfied with lawn care - BUT - I am still waiting for a solution to eradicate the ongoing issue with violets that continue to spread throughout my lawn. This has been an issue discussed every year but has NOT been resolved!!!

I have been a satisfied customer for more than eight years now. The services for my lawn and trees/shrubs provide excellent results year by year. The ease of annual payments with a discounted price is most appreciated. The customer service is always professional. No complaints at all. Thank you for a continued job well done.

Excellent services. The service person explain the services before start and end of the services person ask we has any question about the service. Services men is very professional. I recommended this company for customized lawn service plan. My rating 5 Star. Kept the good work.

We've been using this service for 2 years- for lawn care and mosquito control. Not super satisfied with the results. We still have mosquitoes like crazy. They've come out extra and still no improvement. Our grass is minimally, if any improved. On top of all this they've been double billing me. We pay in full for our services at the beginning of the year, yet I just noticed recurring monthly charges to my credit card for the last several months. Customer service claims that autopay is the default even if you're paid in full and have no balance?!? Makes no sense. Not an ethical billing practice. Check your statements. You're probably being charged for services you're not getting too.

I'm new with TruGreen and have experienced nothing but excellent service to date. The service personnel have been prompt to my property and have done the work as defined in the service order. I'm already seeing a difference in my lawn (an unexpected surprise at this early stage). I had one small issue at the outset of the program, but the TruGreen customer service people dealt with it timely and professionally. I would definitely recommend the TruGreen service.

I called and canceled my service when we were very dissatisfied with weeds. I called my rep to let him know about the problem several times. No response. So we decided to cancel our service. I called the billing number and told them I wanted to cancel the service and they offered a retreat and I canceled the service. I look at my bank statement and they charged me again for another service and mosquito treatment. I call again and canceled my service. They said I had to pay for the mosquito treatment. Why should a customer have to go through this with a company? Horrible experience... Reps sell you their products but don't back it up. I shouldn't have to pay for a service I called and cancelled. Please be aware of the reps selling you all the products and telling you to call them personally that they will handle your yard's problem areas. They treated our yard for mold and it was costly but we still have the same mold. Horrible Horrible experience!

TruGreen has done a great job on my Lawn and Bushes, they have never looked better. Specialist have always been friendly and very professional when they come to the house. Always explain the treatment and effects. Would recommend to friends and neighbors.

Have been a customer for a number of years. Very satisfied with results. Get notice of service. Phone staff very cooperative in adjusting service to meet our needs. Schedule around yard service and grand-pet visits. Service staff are courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. Will refer back to supervisors where appropriate. TruGreen has kept my lawn from the day we had our lawn sodded. It has been three years and we have the greenest lawn in the neighborhood. What most people do not understand about Texas is that we have a climate that makes it tough to keep weeds under control. TruGreen set my expectations three years ago and I can say that they did such a good job on my lawn that I let them take care of my trees and shrubs.

One of the things I like most about TruGreen is that they call before they come to your home. It means you can prepare your yard so it gets the optimal service. I know I need to take the yard, pick up dog poop, mow, etc. The employee coming to take care of the lawn always attempts to say hello if you're home and are very courteous, even if you don't pick up the poop. My yard has never looked better, each service has been catered to the lawn's needs. They were ahead of the weeds on my last service, and warned me it's likely they'd be back soon and to give them a call to stop back again between applications, which they do for free! Could not be happier and will always recommend them to friends and family in the future.

As a seven year customer, I have always been pleased with the results of the lawn care and the tree and shrub care services I have received from TruGreen. The technicians and office personnel are always willing to help. You have a customer for life.

I was very upstanding after the first application that it didn’t work as well as I had hoped or as well as it was promoted. I called a week after the first application and asked to have it redone, we still had mosquitoes. I called 7/2, I emailed on 7/6 and received phone call on 7/7 that someone would be out at the beginning of the week.

Last year, I had full lawn care service and mosquito control. They came out when they were scheduled, it was great. This summer I signed up for the Mosquito control (was holding on lawn care to assess the lawn and my time to care for it)... I prepaid for the Mosquito control on May 24th. It is now July 10th. I have not had a single treatment. We've called a number of times, and they were schedule twice. Once it rained, fine. The second time they were scheduled it was beautiful, but they never showed. We don't know why, just that they couldn't make it. I am disappointed in the service. We've called and talked to customer service who has put it in as an "emergency" at least 2 times, and we still have not had treatment. In Maine, summer is over quick. It's really disappointing that we've not been able to enjoy our outdoor area at all... The mosquitos are so bad this year. I will not be a customer next year.

I would have posted 5 stars, however, my lawn is getting more weeds than normal. Never had the weed problem previously. Technician arrives as scheduled and performs the necessary treatment. Telephone notification made to inform of the date. A time would be helpful.

My property looks wonderful. This is my fifth year with TruGreen and together we have turned native land into landscape. When I purchased my home site it was overgrown fields and woods that had not been touched and is now a lovely front yard.

TruGreen is the best. They promise a nice lawn and they deliver. I would recommend to a friend. I've been with TruGreen for a long time and have been happy with the service. The neighbors next door are with TruGreen also.

After 2+ years of drought, where I didn't water at all, I was looking at artificial lawn. The price was shocking and prohibitive. TruGreen said they could save my lawn and they not only brought it back, they've continued to maintain it. I would recommend them to anyone that would want to be proud of their lawn.

TruGreen provided reasonable pricing, timely delivery of their array of services, sent knowledgeable and courteous agents and offers pretty good on weed control. I discontinued mosquito control due to lack of current needs. I am partially disabled veteran and unable to care for my lawn, alone.

I appreciate the fact that TruGreen comes back out to spray if we see mosquitoes in between visits, but we have a lot of trees in our yard. I have been home a couple times when they are spraying... They are not here for very long, and don't get most of the trees/bushes. We still are seeing mosquitoes, although less than what we normally would...

They have killed my yard in a matter of 3 months. Each application the yard gets browner and browner. My neighbors have nice green grass with zero treatments, even DIY. I have asked they stop treatment and refund. Tomorrow they are sending a person to assess it. It was supposed to take two days for them to look at it but it took a week. Will update review when they respond.

The spray used for insect and disease control does a very good job on all of our shrubbery. Always notifies they are on the way and the young man who comes is very polite. The price for this work in our yard is also very good.

Donny was our technician and he was courteous and professional. He talked to me about my lawn and gave me some watering tips. He then treated it for weeds and put down some fertilizer. He also spoke to me after he was done. About a week or so later most of our weeds are gone! We tried to get rid of them before we tried TruGreen and the stuff we put down did nothing. Now I'm seeing very few weeds! Can't wait to see a wonderful green lawn!

I'm very please with the way my lawn has grown. My lawn was really in bad shape. I had more weeds than grass. I didn't know how to make it right again, so I called TRUGREEN. I had used them before and knew they were good, but this time my yard was the worse it's ever been. We're talking weeds, disease, brown and bare spots and ground moles everywhere. After a few treatments my yard looked fantastic.

My service was 5 star. As far as - am concerned they are doing a great job. The tech talked to me and explained the process to me. He answered all of my questions and I was pleased with the work. I am anxious to see how my yard is going to look when everything is done.

Was extremely pleased with the first application! Weeds disappeared lawn filled in. Told everyone what a great job TG did. After the second application grass started thinning in several places some where I always had good grass. Not sure what to do to solve the problem. Rated the first application 5 stars, the second less than 2.

Their professionalism and prompt service as well as always calling me when they arrive is a welcome change of pace from other lawn care company or from and service company out there. I always make sure to have bottled waters ready just in case they show up on a hot day.

I received numerous calls from a gentleman representing himself as being with TruGreen. He was trying to sell me a mosquito control package. I told him I was not interested and at the third phone call I asked him not to call me back and to take my number off the call list. That didn't work. He continued calling each day around noon until I finally blocked his number. His number is ** and the caller ID shows the call to be from Buford, GA. I'm really disappointed that TruGreen's response to my complaint is to have me fill out a survey. No personal contact from management to apologize or assure me that I won't have this problem again.

Extremely dissatisfied with TruGreen. Took weeks for people to get back to me. Lost soil sample and ripped up lawn while doing service. Lawns has never look worse. I have request a full refund and still waiting. Had should high hopes and TruGreen let me down.

We paid $800 for this year long service and we still have so many weeds along with two cancelled services in as many weeks. I tried to reschedule on the app but no dates appear and now I have to call customer service for the third time. Not thrilled.

I have used TruGreen for over 20 years. I have utilized their services for my grass and my trees/shrubs. They have been very responsive to my needs and always answer my questions about particular weeds and insects. I have recommended their services to my neighbors. The crew members are always nice and ensure that I know that they are on. My property.

I am really dissatisfied with their job. They would give me a schedule and then, the specialist would never show up. When we called the company they would give us a new appointment for up to 3-4 days, but the specialist never showed up. I called constantly day after day to tell them about the specialist who never came. After a couple of weeks, our specialist came and did the job. It has been a couple of weeks since the specialist did the job and the weeds are still scattered around our lawn, and they tend to keep growing. We trusted on TruGreen to take care of our lawn, I hope they will be trusted.

I am very pleased at this time. The person applying the lawn care treatment was very nice, polite and efficient. No dandelions or weeds so lawn looks better. I used another provider prior to this and had a lot of weeds by mid-July.

I noticed on the north side of the driveway there is an area of crabgrass that continues to grow and then there's a small area down by the mailbox just a small area that has some weeds. Other than that the yard looks fine.

When I came to Florida I retained the lawn care service of the previous owner. As new to the area I was not aware of the other lawn services available. As the years went on I became less satisfied with my current lawn care people. Don't know what you are doing but I see no difference in my lawn now and before I contracted you people. I will not be renewing my contract for above reason. The only attention my lawn needs is weeds in the flower beds and you want to charge extra to do them. If I do the work myself (flower beds) then I don't need you.

Last year (2017), I engaged the services of TruGreen for their all inclusive annual lawn care program of scheduled treatments and it failed to yield much in the way of meaningful improvement. Based upon decades of personal experience in handling all lawn care responsibilities, I felt that they either applied too much or too little chemical product, the latter seemed to me as the most plausible reason for such negative results. Establishing and maintaining healthy turf does not require sophisticated rocket science knowledge and usually recovers quite well within the timeline of one year. I reluctantly allowed them to proceed with two early Spring (2018) applications to address pre-emergent weed control that was already way out of control from last year. In the weeks that followed these two applications, I can accurately report that my weeds are flourishing and spreading remarkably well.

Service was polite and professional. I would recommend this service to any interested person who inquired about it. It would be nice to be informed (if possible) about what shape my lawn is in. Sales people were respectful of my request to have service at a later date.

I had good service. The resulting treatment did the job. My grass has not been greener and weeds free. I recommend the service to all my friends. The only bad part is that the gardener has to come more often to cut the grass.

Our services are always professional, detailed orientated and friendly. We really get our money's worth will all the information and the results of our treatment. When a TruGreen representative come to treat our lawn, they are always courteous, and considerate. We have dogs and the TruGreen rep always, without question or incident closes our gates. This is our second year on the all natural organic plan and we are very happy with the results. Our lawn is looking thicker and better all the time. The aeration has also helped with this process to loosen the soil and help with water absorption. The weeds have been treated even with the all natural organic plan and they are under control too. We are pleased with our results and have told friends about TruGreen.

Buyer beware!!! They will put HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF STUFF ON YOUR BILL THAT YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE and will demand the money even though you cancelled it OVER A YEAR AGO! They even have me on recording cancelling this service July '17 and they're still calling and harassing me. They also had the nerve to ask for HALF of the money?!? This is not the first time this has happened with a $100+ dollar service that I did not ask for. If I authorized it then why didn't they just charge my card? Because they know they legally do not have my authorization in the first place.

Advertising states the first treatment $29.99. I spoke to the rep and told him we our lawn had been fertilized on schedule but was brown. The rep said it could be bugs but the tech would let us know. End of that conversation. The rep went over our treatment plan and cost and said the first application would be $29.99. After that the treatment would be the set price. I spoke to another rep who repeated the same price. $29.99 for the first application and then the set price. The tech came to our home and stated our lawn was in drought shock. He told my husband he didn’t see any bugs.

Mathew ** was very professional providing the insect control treatment. He knocked on the door and we spoke about the treatment and he answered all my questions. Mathew has been here before and has always provided excellent service.

It’s been 3 weeks and I don’t see any sign of any of the weeds dying...they actually look like they were fed something to make them strive more. I would of expected to see some change by now and weeds dying off somewhat.

Compliments to our technician Nicholas **. He always calls the night before to advise me of my next scheduled service is due. He arrives as scheduled, briefs me on exactly what he is putting on my lawn, how long before I can let the dog's out (When the fertilizer will be dry enough), when to water, etc. I watch as he methodically covers all areas of my lawn, he wastes no time, but is extremely efficient in covering the entire 3546 sq ft of lawn. My lawn is and has always been the best looking in the neighborhood since I've used TruGreen. Have and will always recommend them to family & Friends.

Jeffrey ** did an excellent job explaining what he was going to do and why. He then did what he said he was going to do. The treatment was last week and the weeds are mostly gone, and the grass has turned a rich green in color. I am very pleased with TruGreen right now. I have never used a lawn service here before.

Good service mostly on lawn. The guy does not do my driveway side. They sent him out to redo. The bug spray not working. They resprayed still not. I canceled the bug and I was excited to be flea fly and such free.

After finally taking the plunge and replacing my lawn last summer (and adding an in-ground sprinkler system), TruGreen was recommended by the turf company. I began seeing a very specific weed emerging in the newly planted lawn. TruGreen was able to diagnose the weed (Nutsedge) and noted that it had been in the soil prior to the new lawn installation, disturbing the ground allowed the weed to grow. TruGreen was able to apply a targeted weed killer and this season I have not seen a single blade of the little monsters... Great job. Good follow-up, friendly staff. Heartily recommended.

TruGreen always notifies you of visits and responds to calls very quickly. At one time I left this company but came back after a bad experience with another company. I will never leave this company again and I am always getting compliments on how great my lawn looks.

For several years now we have been cooped up indoors during Summer months because of the mosquitoes in our backyard. Not anymore! We are able to play day or night outside thanks to TruGreen’s Mosquito Defense + Shield. It lasts at least a month or more and the service guys do a fantastic job making sure I know they are on the way and let me know when they arrive. Just signed up and let TruGreen do their thing. Results were dramatic in a very short time. We had a lot of work done at the house which tore up the backyard. The contractor just spread some seed around and I suspected it would all die. I am not a lawn guy but I can call TruGreen and I know how to set up a sprinkler. I have one of the nicest backyards in the neighborhood now.

The technician listened and sprayed the areas: behind pool, behind shed and along sidewalk on right side of house. I did forget to point out weeds on right of shed next to Tree Stump. I will point out that area next time the lawn is treated.

I have been buying your 3 applications for a year at the discounted price over 20 years and only twice needed a re-application because of a couple of missed areas, which weeds were growing. I will continue using TruGreen as long as the discounted price for the 3 to 4 applications is the same as my original service.

I signed up with Leisure Lawn over 23 years ago and they contracted for a price that was not to increase as long as I maintained my use of their service. Since TruGreen has taken over they have not honored the contract and have consistently increased the number of services and the price.

I have a bare patch in my lawn because you guys would not recognize, even after we threatened to fire you, that we had mole crickets. This area is still not been regrown. You need to supply a set of plugs to fill in the problem area.

I called in May 2018. I was told about what to expect. I was going to get (preemergent, emergent weed treatment and fertilize treatment). The weeds should Be shriveling up in a short time. However, if you are still seeing them, they would come out after 2 weeks. I called and received this ‘free’ treatment because it did not do what I was told. Now, remember I started in May and I started with their $29 + beginning few. Then, it would be about $70 per month after that.

The purpose for going with TruGreen was to control the weeds in my yard. There are still a lot of weed that haven’t been killed. When I talked to the associate that serviced my yard he said that two of the weed I have are two of the worst to kill (buttonweed and violets). I am hoping that this will happen. If not I will not be using TruGreen next year.

Since signing up with TruGreen, we have had 5 treatments and each specialist has been very courteous and did a good job. Like the way we are notified before each treatment. Our yard is looking better than it did when we had another yard service.

We had new sod put in. We watered, fertilized and then the moths came by the thousands and the worms ate our lawn. That's when we started our service the TruGreen. That same grass came back with the help of TruGreen and is so lush we can hardly walk on it! Absolutely amazing!

After my last fertilizer application in May I experienced fertilizer burn in several areas of my yard. I voiced my concern with the local office and they were very quick to respond to the complaint and looked at the burns. They confirmed that it was, in fact, fertilizer burn and have committed to taking the necessary action to repair the damage. The applicator returned today and applied the necessary treatment(s).

Your tech is great, he was very polite and explained everything. However, apparently your product isn't. I still have weeds and bare spots. The only reason I went with your service is because of the guarantee. Exactly how does that work? It's obvious to me that I am not getting a nice lawn anytime soon which means what? You'll want me to pay you for next year's service? In advance? And go through this next year? My neighbors don't have this problem.

Used TruGreen all of 2017. Lawn was looking great. Overseeded in the fall. One large area of bare ground never came up. I had prepared ground so it would take. Now in 2018, they came and applied fertilizer and weed control when the temps were still way too cold. Second app a month later along with spot weed killer, again before weeds started growing. No wonder the tech said he couldn't find weeds.

This is our second year of service with TruGreen. We are seeing quite a difference in the appearance and feel of our lawn. It's nice to look out across our lawn and have it appear weed free. We are not totally there when you are close-up but it is amazing in how far it has come in so little time. I like the soft feeling of "just grass" to my bare feet and not being concerned of stepping on thistle. TruGreen is attentive to your needs and the technicians that apply the treatments are professional, courteous and friendly. Thank you TruGreen for being an all around professional service provider.

Wish I could give them a ZERO! Horrible company to do business with! Jessica at the Meridian office is incredibly rude, and I would never suggest doing business with them in the future. I enrolled online, and they said I would get email explaining process. Never got an email, and so I called. They explained over the phone and said that they were doing 2 treatments on the first visit. The advertisement said first treatment was 29.95, but they were going to just through on a billbug treatment on the first one for an addition 79.99.

Inexperienced technicians cannot answer questions, asked for mgr or supervisor to call me...no calls made. Then received invoice for more $$ that I negotiated with a manager earlier that year?I Called # on bill and was transferred to Cincinnati? Didn't get a return call for 4 business days? Doesn't seem that TruGreen has my interest in mind. But does want more revenue per treatment and my loyalty. I did get a call from a familiar person Nick ** and he said he will have someone call or make an appt to look at the property.

I wish TruGreen would be more consistent with the treatments and could give customer a more accurate rescheduled date. I’ve had to cancel twice because they were coming on a day I wasn’t home and it’s been 2 weeks and no call for a rescheduled date.

My yard was serviced by Nick **. Nick stopped in when he first arrived and filled me in on what he was going to do. I told him to have at it. He was putting down Grub Control and Fertilizer. I was working in the garage on my lawn tractor so when Nick finished and went out to his truck to have a chat about the service I made some comments about how weeds were coming in from property out by the road, that is county property, but we (my neighbor and I) cut and keep it as the county said we could. Nick was all ears. He actually listen to what I had to say and after a brief time he had some suggestions about how to minimize weed spread with cutting patterns. I had never thought about that but it made complete sense.

Called and got ticks and flea services... A week later local office call me and offered mosquito defense shield for just $31 more per application. I got charged $394 extra instead $124. Long battle before getting refund and not full.

The mosquito program isn't working, we are still having mosquitos like crazy! I am very unhappy with the service! I am calling tomorrow to try to get them back out. I want these mosquitos gone right now! If I cannot get any results, I am cancelling!

Very friendly, listened to what I wanted done and did so with great ease. I would highly recommend this service. Was prompt to his arrival. When he finished the job, he explained what he had done and how he did it.

Our TruGreen Specialist always keep his appointments within the time frame he gives us. We know when he is coming to do the yard. He is polite and knowledgeable about his job. He knows the type of grass that is in our yard and explained to us what we need to do between treatments. He has never cancelled an appointment.

First the mosquito treat will not stop all mosquitoes. However there is a noticeable difference between our yard vs. our neighbors. Second, lawn treatment service I continually get asked who maintains your yard! I always say TruGreen treats the lawn and notice a difference vs store bought lawn fertilizers.

I really appreciate your lawn care guys taking time to speak to me about a long term plan. They don’t act “rushed” or make it seem like a pain for them to stop and talk for a little while. Very helpful.

I only have two comments: First, the applications are not always thorough on covering the whole yard. Second, I repaired two irrigation heads that were broke below ground level due to the dragging of the application hose over the heads. Otherwise, I am satisfied with TruGreen.

There is a lot of clover, which is rapidly spreading, on our back lawn. This is a big concern and must be addressed ASAP please. When will this be done? Please let me know as I have called and written multiple times.

Treatments seem erratic and are very hard to plan on. I have had to call several times to coordinate when treatments will occur. There also seems to have been misinformation given at the time I signed up for services and I was told it was being researched but never received a call back.

We started out a few years ago a little rocky but the last 2 years have been much better. We have now added my in-laws to TruGreen. They have only had one treatment but the weeds are dying. The techs have done a nice job at my house and my in-laws.

I have no problems with the specialist that come out. They are great, the service is great. Looks like my lawn and shrubs are improving. What I do have a problem with are the constant phone calls I am receiving from pushy sales people from TruGreen. I was receiving so many I blocked my number to TruGreen. If it continues I will discontinue my service with TruGreen and find another company.

We ordered mosquito defense service and planned for the first treatment with a scheduler. That date was delayed repeatedly without our input or notification. It took several calls to get someone out to perform the treatment. It took over a month from order to first service and many calls to understand why the no shows on dates service was promised.

I have been with TruGreen for over 26 years, when it was called ChemLawn, I left them for two years, and realized my mistake. TruGreen treatment, and their advice for taking care of the law, made my yard the envy of my neighbors. My yard is lush, and vivid green compared to other yards in the neighborhood. I will continue with TruGreen, and will highly recommend it to my friends.

TruGreen has for the past two years provided me with excellent lawn care service. I bought a house a year ago and the lawn was very good and they turned it around great. TruGreen in Rochester, MN is awesome. They have also always provided me with great customer service!

TruGreen has really been doing a wonderful job taking care of our lawn. Our lawn is basically weed free, and is truly green. We recently moved here a few months ago from a previous location in Palm Coast where we also had TruGreen's lawn service.

The tech. took care of a weed that had lightly spread around the yard - nutsedge? A few days later it was turning brown, so it appears to be properly dealt with. We were also concerned with some dry/dying spots around the yard, so we showed him. He identified the spots as a fungus growing in the grass and warned if it wasn’t properly treated, it would continue to spread and kill a lot of grass. This was good to know, but three things still bothered me: Why didn’t he tell me that earlier? Why can’t he put a treatment on it? Why is this something that isn’t covered by our contract?

Like my lawn service, mosquito is starting to work. Lawn specialist are very informative and Benjamin ** is a very good lawn specialist. Benjamin ** should train in new employees and needs a raise. This would keep him with the company.
