    I've been with Terminix for a while. The mosquito service is awesome. I love the girl who comes. She puts a machine on her back and then she goes to where I instructed her to spray all my trees in the back and some of the yard. I have no complaints about her. I watch her work and she does an excellent job. When it comes to pest control, I'm not so happy with it because they come in and they leave in two minutes. It's impossible to spray a whole house in two minutes. I don't like that at all but for what I'm paying, I'm okay. I have flies and spiders. I tell them every time they come to spray my kitchen door completely because that's how they get in. Every time I leave the dogs out, I get flies in. The service is never satisfactory. I don't think they're giving me my money's worth when it comes to pest control. But if I call them, they'll come out again and spray again.

    Overall, Terminix is a good company to work with. If you have any issues, all you have to do is call and they'll resolve them without a problem. The value for your money is good. I don't think I pay a lot of money for pest control. I did but when I called to complain about something, they lowered everything. Now, I'm paying $69 for mosquitoes and $89 for pest control. I can't beat that anywhere. The mosquito service is good for the money. I have five dogs and I don't want them bitten by mosquitoes. I've got other calls from other services wanting to do the same service. I'm like, "Well, you know, I've been with this company for 10 years. I don't feel like I'm gonna be switching. The price is good." Plus, when I had termites, they came and treated them. They put bait stations all around my property. It was expensive but they did work. I have no termites now.

    Terminix is the best company I know. I get regular service from them. When it's time for me to have my service done, they call me to set up a time. And when I have a problem, they come right out. That's why I've been with them for years. When I see something crawling, I'm calling. When we saw a big roach that was on the top of the ceiling, they came right out. I know my techs by name. Jay comes back here to check on me. He has been spraying the corners of the room. The techs usually check the whole house. They even went around the house and saw where I had poison ivy growing up on the side of my house. They suggested I get that down.

    We had termites and Terminix injected some kind of liquid into all the little tunnels, and it seemed to work. They said that they’d give it a couple of months to see if we've seen any termite poop. If we didn't, they would get it taken care of and come back every six months to recheck.

    We talk to the tech quite a bit, especially when we're having issues. Terminix gave suggestions, and they did a treatment. That's supposed to last for a long time. Sometimes, it takes some time to take effect, and you have a cycle where you're gonna have issues. If that doesn't resolve by the end of three to four years, then there's another problem. Or it didn't correct it as it should have. But the termite activity has gotten less, so it seems to be working. The people that come out are great, but sometimes, when you make an appointment, it seems like there's some miscommunication as to what needs to be done or what you're expecting to be done.

    I've had Terminix treat normal pests like roaches and rodents. They also have done the vapor check under the house and the cottage. Also, we've had them put in the new vents that are automatic according to the season change. The techs have been very courteous and thorough. I'm very pleased with their service.     One individual came out and did a termite inspection looking for termite infestation, if there was any, by looking for little tunnels or columns that they put along the side of the thing. He did not have the key or the device to open up the termite testing stations and he said they would send someone else out in a few weeks. Several weeks later, I got a call one evening from Elena, a female technician. She said she would be out the next day. I said that was not gonna work. I was not gonna be around. But I don't have to be. I explained to her that the boxes were in the garden and they would be easy to find. She told me to just call Terminix and reschedule. So I did.

    I got a call back from the original fellow who was out here saying he was just here three weeks ago. And I said the girl that was supposed to come out and check the boxes with the key couldn't make it. So they were supposed to reschedule somebody else and that's him. He said he didn’t have a key and couldn’t open the boxes. And that was my last experience with Terminix.

    I had a good technician but he lives in Avon and he finally got a route on that side of town. Since then, Terminix has probably sent half a dozen different technicians out here just for the normal inspection, for ants, bees and that type of thing. So, it's always somebody different. I’m lucky to see the same person two times in a row. And when I asked the last guy who came out for specific traps for cupboard moths, he said he never heard of those and he had been with Terminix for three years. The last two technicians that came out here had no problem giving them to me and he said he got a thing to catch mice and they would work.

    There was an issue about seven years ago that was not a good one but in recent times, the customer service with Terminix has been very good. For the most part, the experience has been good. One year, we had some kind of crazy ants and the techs came out immediately and took care of it. But we have little flies in our house that come with plants and I've had the techs come out a couple of times and spray but we still have them. I have three services with Terminix which are for termites, pests, and mosquitoes. And in the recent past, I got a bill for the mosquito service. So, I called customer service and I said I wanted it all to come out of my bank account. I don't wanna get a bill. The rep said it was not a problem and we did all these over the phone.

    The next month, I got a bill again. The letter said I was in arrears. It wasn't the sweetest letter I've gotten from Terminix. I called and got a different lady. I told her I took care of this last month and she checked on it. The first lady had done all the work but she didn't hit enter. So, I wasn't a happy camper about that because it's aggravating. I don't like my time wasted and it takes a hot minute to go through all the routing processes from the bank. The rep from Terminix got it fixed. But they wasted my time. I had to get it fixed twice. Terminix should have a bundling fee. Other places like AT&T say thank you to their customers by giving them a little financial break every now and then. We've been with Terminix for at least 15 years and they should consider that.

    I had a truly terrible experience with Terminix when I discovered bees inside my house. I reached out to them for help, and that's when my nightmare began. Here's a breakdown of the problems I encountered: Deceptive Sales Tactics: When the Terminix inspector arrived, he informed me that the only way to address the bee problem immediately was to sign a year-long agreement. Feeling pressured, I reluctantly agreed. Failed Appointments: The following day, I was promised that someone would come between 12-2 PM to resolve the issue. Nobody showed up during that time slot. I called again, and they rescheduled for 5 PM, but once again, nobody showed up. The same thing happened when they rescheduled for 5:50 PM. The lack of punctuality was not only frustrating but also inconvenient, as it disrupted my plans.

    Lack of Communication: To make matters worse, I had to call multiple times before anyone took my concerns seriously. It took until 7 PM for them to even consider connecting me with a supervisor, and then I was told it would take another 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. Incompetent Service: When a technician finally arrived two days after the initial inspection, they were clueless about the problem because Terminix hadn't shared the inspection report with them. I had to explain the issue all over again. Even after some work, they said they needed a handyman and another visit to resolve the problem. Cancellation Hassle: Frustrated and fed up, I decided to cancel the agreement. Calling to cancel wasn't a straightforward process either, as I had to endure long wait times before they promised to cancel the agreement within a day or two.

    In summary, Terminix is a company that cannot be trusted. They use high-pressure sales tactics to get you to sign agreements, but when it comes to delivering on their promises, they fall short time and time again. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and ultimately failed to address the pest issue I was facing. My experience with them has been nothing but a nightmare, and I strongly advise against trusting this company with your pest control needs.

    We have two houses. One of them excellent care, the other one we've terminated. In Hamilton County, the Terminix rep would tell us when the techs would be here, but they would be there and gone so fast. I would see the car or truck, but by the time I get out the door to talk to the tech about what they've done, they would be gone. So, I've never communicated with them. They never asked what the needs were. If we had bugs. Never any communication, as opposed to the other place. So, we terminated them two months ago. In Brown County, we have the tech's phone number. He always called us when he would be there and he would give us a report of what he did. We have good results. We eliminated the ants.

    We had Terminix a long time ago and then my husband wanted to switch. But we decided we didn't like what we were getting. I liked what we had before so we went back to Terminix. They let me know when someone is coming out. If I did need a service or someone to come out because I have an issue, they've been really good. Terminix covers everything and their techs have been very positive. So far, I've only had a gnat or two. I have noticed some spider webs increase, but I'm probably due soon. On the whole, I would recommend Terminix.

    A little over a year ago I purchased the Terminix Barrier exclusion plan for $1500 to hopefully eliminate the ongoing pest problem I was having. A year later, I'm still having the same problems as when I started. Rodents are still coming and going in holes that were not found. Apparently my plan lapsed a month ago without my knowledge. At the time of purchase I was told that renewals and extensions existed, but I told them I would rather wait to see if one was needed. I expected results after paying $1500 up front. A year passes and there were no phone calls to renew, or even to check up and see if everything was working. No E-mails. No letters. Nothing. They just let it lapse.

    Now that I'm having problems again, they will only come see me if I schedule another inspection and pay another $1500. They did offer to knock $100 off the new bill ($1400)... which I promptly rejected. Their customer service has been terrible. The CS calls/chats are only eager to forward my messages to people that never call back, and e-mails to people that never respond. All attempts to escalate past the locals have failed. During my contract I was only ever able to get results from the techs who were nice enough to give me their personal phone numbers. I never once was able to get through to management. Either way I'm out $1500. The problem hasn't been fixed.

    Terminix sales guy, Scott **, sold me a bag of beans. But no doubt he was simply following their business model. Long story short, they can lock you into a contract where you're required to pay quarterly, but they don't have to show up at all. And if you try to cancel the service -- Nope! -- You're required to pay for the entire year. Doesn't matter if they no show. Doesn't matter if they don't perform the services required on their end of the deal, apparently. Service manager, Rob **, explained that sure you can cancel, but as far as he knows you have to pay for the year in full anyway even if you cancel ... And even if they haven't done the work! Wow. What kind of business model is this? Unbelievable. Buyer beware.

    It's worth noting that it seems like Terminix is acquiring many local and region pest control companies. They have also launched a national ad campaign in the last 18 months. Both of these things are very expensive ... And it seems like perhaps their strategy is to hose all customers in order to get money back from their poor business decisions.

    I am not happy with Terminix. They've been out four times but I still have a problem with the bed bugs. I had been told to use a heat treatment. That was the only way I was gonna get rid of them. I called up Terminix and asked if they did heat treatment. They said yes. They came out but didn't do the heat treatment. They sprayed and steamed. They came back but there were still the bugs.

    I asked them about the heat treatment. They said they were working on that. I asked to talk to the manager. He said there was lot of liability. I said, "But you told me you did it." He said, "No, we never told you we did it." If so, I would never have hired them because I could have hired anybody for the price that they charged me which was over $2,000 (I had other guys come out for 600 that sprayed the same thing Terminix did). It was a lot of money for nothing. They're supposed to come back again, but they're not solving the problem. Their answer is, "They're hard to get rid of." They should have told me that from the beginning and I would have found somebody that did the heat. Also, I have cameras in the house and some of the time they're sitting on my kitchen table which is unprofessional.

    I called Terminix, they scheduled me, and a guy came out two days later. He reached out to me a few times beforehand, let me know exactly what he was gonna do and what we might need to do moving forward. He came out, talked to me a little while about what we were gonna do. We had a hornet's nest in our backyard. He sprayed and let me know if he was leaving. He had to come back the next day to remove the nest. He came back the next day super early in the morning. He texted me afterwards and gave me a rundown of everything that he did.

    Terminix takes care of my son and daughter-in-law's place. They've lived there for three years, then, all of a sudden, they had roaches. It seems once it gets under control, it starts back worse as soon as we don't bother to call for a follow-up appointment. It's gonna be almost nine months. We're tired of the issue. That would be calling them every couple of weeks to do a follow-up because they start having the issues. If we let it go for a month, they got them all over. I also had one issue where Terminix didn't bother to come out.

    DO NOT USE This company. The customer service is terrible. I was scheduled for a Friday, got a call on Thursday saying it needed moved to Saturday between 8-10. The time came and went with no call and no one showing up. I called customer service, one rep lied, and hung up on me. Called back and was refused access to a manager. Called to cancel after taking my business to Orkin, they didn't even bother asking why I was cancelling. Do not waste your time with this failing Company.

    We have had Terminix for 22 years, paying over $600 a year. In 2013 the inspector for Terminex told us we needed Drywood coverage for an initial fee of $1900. We did it. In addition to the liquid protection we paid $500 to $600 every year. Our interior bug guy asked if they tented the house for $1900 because there is no prevention for drywood termites. I called and questioned the charge and Terminex has no record of it. Yet they have charged us the annual fee every year since. I cancelled both services on 9/6. I had foolishly paid ahead for the contracts which renew 10/1. Terminex only credited my card for $282. They will not credit the other fee! Do not use this company!

    Its mandary to provide a star rating. My rating is 0. My payments have been auto deducted for over 10 years. But calling everyday...no manager will call me. I have been with Terminix over 10 years. The representative that visited 9/13/23 completed external spray for ants and spiders. However, she wrote inaccurate notes stating she was inside the home. She never entered the home. I have been calling daily for two weeks for a manager to provide me with a correct checklist for spider and ants. The representatives say they are sending my requests in. No callback in two weeks. I will be calling daily.

    I signed a $1900 contract to have holes in the attic sealed to keep critters out. After several attempts they said they could not reach the area to seal. Problem was not solved. I called to get a refund and they initially said only $500. I didn't think $1400 was worth a failed attempt to fix my issue. I called 3 times and was told I would get a call back from a manager over a month period. It never happened. Although, my contract was cancelled without a penny refunded. It baffles me how a business can run in this manner. I'm out $1900 and received nothing but frustration.

    I've used Terminix for years for my home protection services, inside and out. They have done a wonderful job, come back if a probem appears. HOWEVER, I've had an outbreak of bed bugs that Terminix was paid, upfront, to eradicate. The first two appointments went as scheduled. Since then, I've had many no-shows, many appointments weren't even set up, or so I was told when I called to inquire. The tech blamed the problem on those who set up the schedule. Those who set up the schedule blamed the tech. Very unprofessional. ANYWAY, 8 months later, I still have bed bugs biting me, no appointments being set up, and I'm out $1,100.00. This is soooo wrong!!!

    Seuraj was the most upbeat, uplifting personality that I have met in quite some time. My entire home loved his presence, energy and spirit. What a beautiful human just being.     Scheduled an appointment two business days ago for the day to come and the tech not to show the time frame given 5pm to 7pm. To call the customer service people to tell me they don't come out after 6pm. Terminix website says 24 hours service which needs to be re-worded. Not a true statement. Sad they have people answering the telephone and sounding like there isn't a lot of smarts when you question them. "Yes, we have your appointment down from 5pm to 7pm, but our tech doesn't usually come out after 5pm." Crazy, but that is what was stated. Don't choose Terminix if you can help it.

    Upon finding termites in my home after closing after I had an inspection, I was none too pleased. So I got multiple quotes. Terminix claimed they would provide services that the others were going to do (Orkin and local companies) and they also would do additional pests in that entire cost. However I learned that they were not included, & then by the time I found this out, it was 5 pm on a Saturday when the Servicer had finally appeared when he was supposed to be there between 12-4. So at which point I had to have somebody else let him in. Then I was extremely upset to find out that they were not going to be treating the outside area with liquid like Gavin the guy who came out to give the quote said they would because that was what Orkin stated along with a very thorough treatment of my walls and basement and he said they would do better than Orkin.

    I can assure you they did not do a third of what Orkin promised and now I don’t know that the problem is even thoroughly fixed. I would have just gone with Orkin or somebody else if they were not going to bother to do half of what was expected and then say, “The price would go up if we do all that.” The price shouldn’t go anywhere when that was what was discussed and he told me that was what was going to happen. Then I had spoken to a manager assuring me in the week that everything would be fine and to stay with them and he would $100 off. Well I will need it because I just received an invoice that said I have extra charges for yesterday's visit with absolutely no breakdown of why.

    I was reassured twice now that those services were part of the $1600 I am already paying. Stay far far away from Terminix if you want false promises and money you don’t have to be ripped away from you. Even after you have called to confirm what was supposed to be done. I proceeded with them to do the work because at that point I had lost a week of work on my house waiting for them to come service my house and if I had to do this whole process all over again I would have lost another 1-2 weeks. I couldn’t just call people on a late Saturday night. Then the guy spraying never told my person who let him in to be out of the area in a well ventilated area for 2 hours. He proceeded to be right in that space for two more hours trying to rip tar paper off the floor. Do better as a company.

    I had a mice and a bug issue. It’s a 3 apartment building. I also have 3 dogs. When I made the appt I told them I have 3 dogs so they don’t use anything harmful and the person on the phone told me I had nothing to worry about. I also asked the man that was in my home putting traps everywhere if it was safe for my 3 dogs. He said it was completely fine. I’m a server and went to work for the night shift, I came back home and 1 of my dogs ate the chemicals from the box trap. I called poison control and I literally had to waterboard my dog with hydrogen peroxide so he could throw up and live. I contacted Terminex and they did NOTHING to help me. They didn’t pay for my vet or refund me when my dog almost died. Do not go to these horrible people.

    Mid-May 2023 Terminix came to house for rodents. Had to follow techs & check that they had done what was told to me..Not done. Furthermore gave a hefty check..No receipt. No contract sent, had not signed & found they had copy & pasted fake signature. Only initialed for bait boxes per tech’s remarks.     This was the first pest control service I found with the best termite prevention and included mosquito treatment in Aurora Colorado...HOWEVER, that is only over the phone. When the technician showed up and started services it was only then they declined to also render services in the attic and crawl space as was stated over the phone. Instead, I was quoted an additional $2000 to have those services! That was not stated over the phone and I called to complain.

    The first person I talked to about my concerns of the service that was provided refunded us but did not cancel the services. I got charged again and the person I called to have the problem fixed again said I was wrong, and then scheduled me to have another tech come out. Finally, I got a hold one last time to describe my issue and am being helped. This company is not transparent about the services they provide or their call centers are generally unaware of how their techs provide service. I am thoroughly disappointed in the service I received and urge people with attics and crawl spaces to look elsewhere for services.

    If we need something, we'll call Terminix but they usually call and tell us they want to come on such and such a day. If they can't come on that day, we'll fix another day for them to come. So far, everything's been going good. They come in when they're supposed to come in, every three months, and we haven't had any termites. The only problem right now I'm having is ants and I can't seem to get rid of them for some reason. Yesterday, the inspector came and he was very nice. He went around the house and looked. He's been here before. So, there wasn't a problem. I asked him to do the ants and he did spray where I told them where they were.

    Between then and now, it's gotten worse. So, I'm waiting for them to call me today because the inspector said they were going to set up an appointment with them to come back because he didn't have anything to take care of them with. Usually, they take care of stuff close to the area that is close to the house. They don't go out. But every once in a while, I'll see a patch of ants and I have some stuff that I get from Home Depot and I'll go out and put it on it and that takes care of it well. The inspector did say he thought the ant thing was coming from outside.

    I called Terminix last year and they sent somebody out to look over the situation and tell me how they would fix it. I signed the contract, and I had to pay them in full. We had an appointment for the first visit and the people came and did what they had to do. We had to stay out of the house for five hours. That was no big deal. I was expecting it. Cody, the technician that came in, made an appointment for the second visit, but he never showed up, so I ended up calling Terminix. We went back and forth, then they sent somebody the next day. We made an appointment with that tech for the third visit, but he never showed up as well. We went through the same situation and I was so annoyed. Finally, Terminix sent out Cody, the kid that they sent the first time, who apologized. At that point, I made the next appointment with him, and he gave me a number to call him to verify the day before.

    When we had Cody coming in, everything worked fine. He came another three times, then the last visit, he never showed up again. By this time though, the problem had been resolved. Cody called and apologized the next day and said, "Do you want me to come in?" I said, "Well, we haven't had a problem. Everything's been good since you've been coming. So, why don't we just forget this thing?" A year later, the same problem started up again, only this time it's happening in my room. Last year, the problem was in my son's room and I kept telling him to get the place cleaned up then I would call Terminix. By the time Terminix did what they were supposed to do when I called though, it was a major infestation.

    This time, I started to get bit, so I called them right away. The salesman came out, looked everything over, and we talked about it. I said, "I know what we need to do. These are the rooms that I want you to hit." We made an appointment for the 28th of June, and the techs showed up on time and did the job. It was a nice day, so we just stayed out. They were doing the second and third floor, so we were allowed to stay on the first floor. The technician then said, "Let's set up the next visit," which was on the 13th of July, and nobody showed up. I called and Terminix said, "Oh, you're not supposed to make the appointment with the technician. You're supposed to call us." For what? They're not the ones coming out. I said, "Why would he say that if that's not what's supposed to happen? You either send somebody out tomorrow or forget it."

    Terminix didn't send anybody out or have anybody call me. So, I called them and I got the royal runaround. There were no managers around that I could talk to, and the people that I was talking to on the phone were calling from their own homes. I said, look, "Can I cancel the service? Give me a credit and that's it." "Well, we're gonna have somebody call you." I called on Monday, and I told them I would give them till today, but nobody bothered to call. I called them and we went through the same thing. I told them, "I don't want your service. I can't depend on you. You don't come when you say you're coming." I'm on vacation this week and I took the day off because we were expecting them and nothing.

    Overall, the technicians were wonderful. They came when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to, and we made an appointment for them to come back. However, management sucks and I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I already put a review in on Yelp as well. I don't want anything to do with Terminix. I just want my money back.

They recently redid those little bait traps that are around the edge of the house. I re-engaged to have the peripheral pest control feature where they spray outside and then they can spray inside.

    I had someone out here a couple of weeks ago. He did a great job. He called me before he came and asked me if I had any concerns. He sprayed for everything. He was very polite. He did a good job of doing what I asked him to do. Let me know what he found. Altogether very positive experience. They automatically come out for me, and there's never a problem. They just always call me and say, "It's time for your next service,” They'll let me know when they're coming out, and if that doesn't work for me, they'll reschedule. But usually, it does.

    We have a plan where they come out four times a year and just spray to keep the bugs away. He knocks down any spider web he sees. He sprays around the edges of the house, any areas that might be prone to buggies. I know it works because before we had Terminix, every summer, we used to fight ants in the house, and that's why we hired them.     Every three months, they check for rodents inside the house and spiders. On the outside, they place traps for rodents and they spray too. There's always the same tech. His name is Mike and he always calls first and makes sure that it's a good time that he's planning to come.     I regret hiring this company. After paying a lot of money for the exclusion service and the additional yearly service fee, they have not shown up for multiple scheduled (and confirmed) appointments. The guys who do the work are great. The scheduling seems to be the problem. One side of the company does not communicate to the other. It seems a corporate office schedules appointments and confirms them, but they do not get that information to the field offices (who actually do the work) and so no one shows up for the confirmed appointments. Multiple times appointments have been set and confirmed (I have the confirmation texts)...yet no one shows. I have lost several hours of work time being home for the (no-show) confirmed appointments, and time lost being on the phone trying to fix the problem (multiple times). It would be nice if Terminix would compensate me for lost work time...but I won't hold my breath.

The first available appointment slot was July 5, 2023 in between the hours of 8:00-1200. The company was contacted July 5th at 12:05 and was informed by a company representative that my appointment had been rescheduled for August 2,2023. I spoke with a supervisor that my appointment actually was for July 5th and should have been notified of any changes to that appointment by the branch. Remove and replace contaminated insulation from mice infestation and seal the outside of the home to prevent further infestations. They came out on a very rainy day to seal the outside of the home and did not do a proper job. They came out two more times after I complained and sealed around the front door and once installed chicken wire around some soffit. In the last month the infestation of mice has returned. I have tried repeatedly over three weeks now to get a hold of the salesman via email and texts and he ignores me and does not return or reply to back to me. Terminix has not attempted to resolve my issue in any form. The new insulation is now contaminated, and the mice are everywhere and I am out $10,272.59.

    I contacted Terminix and the guy was scheduled for the next day. But he had an emergency happen with him so we had to reschedule for the day after. When he came out, he was good and kind. He walked me through everything and if I had any questions. He walked through the whole house and sprayed every area. I had issues in my kitchen with ants and he laid the gel down. That took them away. So it was good. He told me that if I saw something else, to give him a call. I ended up seeing ants in my living room. So I called him and he came out within a couple of days and sprayed in the living room. He also sprayed outside and put the little gel things inside. They took them right away.

    Terrible. Hired them February 20 2023 for ants in a isolated location. Within 90 days my problem got worse. Ants all over my lower level of my home. They came to my house 8 times and even had no show appointments. I had no satisfaction whatsoever. I’m very disappointed. I complained and asked for my last payment to be refunded and they declined. I hired Orkin. Less than 2 weeks of their service I’m finally seeing less ants.

    Terminix usually sends me a text or leaves me a voice message that I'm on the schedule for service for some day in the near future. Then our service guy, Darnell, calls me on the day of service. Last time, he called me to say that we were on the schedule for service and that went well. He was always very punctual. He is a pretty nice guy. He does what he says he's doing. I'm not always home when he does the service and that's okay with me. He's just outside service. I don't have him come in. Occasionally, we do. He's a very good communicator and lets me know when he's done. My experiences with Darnell are very good. He's very upfront. I actually have him do my house and my daughter's house as close together as possible. I'm happy with it.

    Terminix had this guy named Baron who was top notch. He would text me before he was coming. He would talk to me about what he did on the property and ask if I had any questions. I don't know if they let him go because it was a new guy who came. On my last service call, we had some bees under the wood near the top of the awnings. The guy ran a brush up under there supposedly with some chemicals, but the bees were back next day. I reached out to customer service but didn't hear back from anybody.     There's a nice young lady who comes here and does our house. She goes over and does our daughter's house, too. She's very thorough. My problem with Terminix is I want them to come every April and October or twice a year, not four times a year. They keep scheduling someone that calls us to come. They do this various times throughout the year. I finally told them if they can't handle April and October, I'll find somebody else who can. They were here for April, and I'm waiting until October to have them come back, but I'm sure I'll hear from them again.

    Most recently, Terminix came to do a check up on a service provided previously. They were just doing a follow-up to make sure that there was not a new issue in the home for a previous pest control service. If there's any kind of issue, we can call them out as needed. Typically, they're pretty quick to respond. They can quickly schedule us. They provide a service as necessary and then do regular checkups. Most of the checkups involve doing a treatment on the outside of the home. We had a positive experience with Terminix. So, we haven't had any cause to think that we should try a different company. Occasionally, there's an issue of something just being inconvenient like communication errors but it's nothing that's critical or is any worse than I would expect other companies to be.

    Terminix comes every two months to exterminate. The guy was out a week or two ago. He's good. It has been the same guy for a while now. He always texts before he comes out, and if I couldn't make it, I would tell him through the text, and he would reschedule the date for me right there. Certain times a year, it gets worse. When that happens, Terry just has to double up. I might have to call. He might have to come one week, three weeks later to a month later. If I see something, he might have to come back out. Terminix might come and do the outside and leave without checking for me to do the inside. The inside of my place is the only reason I have Terminix, because I don't wanna see anything. When I would call in, I would specify it. It took them a couple of times, but eventually, they got it right. I am very satisfied.

    My tech Ryan notifies me when he's available and I tell him if it's fine or not. He lets me know he's here and asks if I have any particular areas that need special treatment. I usually keep him company as he does the inside and he does the outside separately. When he finishes up, he tells me if there's anything outside that he found then he heads off and I get a summary.     I've been with Terminix over 10 years, and I've never had a tech who didn't give me a call. I've always had good techs. Usually, I tell them what day I want, and they schedule when I'm nearing it. Sometimes they schedule the wrong day and I just cancel it. It hasn't been a problem. Recently, they came out and did the exterior of my house and my garage. I watch to see what they do and they explain. I've never had one who didn't explain to me what they were doing. They do a good job and they make sure everything is in order. I love the fact that, between visits when I have to pay and I see something or I think I need another visit, they'll come out and follow-up for free. That's a good feature.     I had bait traps installed by Terminix. The termite damage kept getting worse. I called about once a month for a year and no one would call me back. They came out once and found no signs of termites in the traps and didn't do anything else. They kept saying it was going to be escalated when I called but nothing ever happened, and no one ever called. My payments were automated but they double billed me in February and I cancelled my service in February since the damage continued to get worse and no one ever called. I had to have another company come out and spray.

    Terminix knew that and still charged me for the service. They didn't charge me for March and I thought everything was taken care of but they started charging me in April and May and then sent me a letter saying they could report me the Credit Bureaus for an outstanding balance since March wasn't paid for. My account was set up for automated payments. THEY didn't take it out and they took the two months after so that is THEIR fault and they are threatening me when they never helped me or even deigned to call me back! I have called the manager and left messages and no one calls me back. I escalate it every month. My contract said they were 100% liable for damages and no one will help me with that. The new termite company said the traps were too far away from the house and were never going to work. DO NOT USE Terminix. This has been the worst experience I have ever had to date with ANY company!

    NEVER, EVER—under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE—use Terminix for termite services. Our household is COMPLETELY INFESTED with both dry wood and subterranean termites and I’ve spent an entire month trying to repair damages myself while desperately trying/begging to have them come perform interior/exterior treatments (per contract) and they have been scheduled, confirmed, reconfirmed and even personally guaranteed by BRANCH MANAGER HOWARD ** on 3 separate occasions this month alone—only to then be canceled and outright refused, on an ongoing basis, by both the branch and regional manager. I’ve repeatedly attempted to go “up the chain” and now have been trying to get outstanding questions/demands answered by REGIONAL MANAGER LES **—who also continues to withhold policy information, refuses to answer direct and repeated questions, refuses to schedule/provide immediate necessary treatments due to the companies ongoing negligence.

    I’ve been told a wide variety of stories by customer service agents—ranging from one telling me they “aren’t “allowed to provide me with that generic email address or the contact for anyone above the regional manager, to another giving me an email address that was incorrect, to another who spent a great deal of time with me on the phone trying to find that email address through his supervisor—yet none of them “have access to it” (or inherently know it), nor have anyone of them been able to find it for me despite their attempts (supposedly) to submit countless tickets and requests over a month now.

    And I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with customer service agents trying to escalate the issue, but keep getting told “their internal process” prevents me from speaking to anyone above them, and I’ve also repeatedly asked for third-party claim info/contact + general Terminix customer complaint/service email address to ensure someone else beyond these two grossly incompetent excuses for “managers” who refuse to provide answers because they know it’s their responsibility/liability. All the while the active infestations and swarms (because we’re in “termite swarm season”) keep ongoing and the termites are causing severe damage to the entire house and structure every single day. If you don’t want to take my word for it, simply Google “Terminix lawsuits” or “why is Terminix being sued” and you’ll immediately find COUNTLESS lawsuits/settlements for their failures.

    I have the termite service and bug service from Terminix. Someone comes out for the termite service once or twice a year while the bug service is every couple of months. The termite guy is somebody new and he's very pleasant. He can't always find the things but last time he was here we made a map. That should make it easier for him. The bug guy's name is Kyle and he's awesome. He takes good care of me. Most of the time, I don't need to be home for the service. It's fine. Occasionally, I see something and I call Terminix to come out and take care of it. But basically, there are no bugs. I'd definitely recommend Terminix. They do a good job.

    The techs are good. They come out about twice a year, inspect the foundation and make sure there's no evidence of termite tunnel and check the bait station to replace those. They won't spray any kind of termite kill because of regulations. They just put these bait traps down, but as long as the bait traps are there, then the termites prefer the bait instead of my house. So, I'm relying on that, and so far, so good. The only problem I had is we went over a year and nobody called or came out. I had to call Terminix and say, “Guys, I hadn't seen you in a long time". They looked at the book and said, "Yeah. You're right. We don't know why." Since then, they've been setting appointments and coming out.

    I got an infestation of cockroaches in my house, so I needed something to get rid of them. Terminix answered me really quickly, then they gave me a call on a Thursday. I couldn't be there on Friday, so they gave me an appointment on Saturday, which is the only day I had off. They got there earlier than I expected, and it was good. I told them where most of the infestation was at and they said, "That's where I'm gonna put more chemical." The first hour, we saw some dead cockroaches, but I still see a lot. So, I don't know if it's working or not. In our contract, they'll come two times in one month, and from then on, it's gonna be every three months. They told me that I could contact them as many times as I want within that three months if I still keep seeing activities, and they'll go without charge. They said that every time they go, they have to wait at least 21 days, so they could go again.

    A Terminix salesperson came to my house in the day I closed eScrow on March and he spent less than 20 seconds peeking into my attic and misrepresented what he saw. The salesperson required the purchase of several services to cure the problem, however, these services have not cured the issue. I paid $6,750 for insulation and exclusion/service plans.

    The service technicians were professional and provided certain value during their one visit, however, the majority of these services were not needed and, more importantly, after 4 weeks, Terminix has not trapped a single rodent! The problem was not properly diagnosed and rodents are still inside the walls/attic above. Interestingly, there are no way to communicate with Terminix other calling the 800 number, no e-mails or others way to ask for follow-up. It’s a giant, global company so different people every time – worst customer service.

    I already have termite protection with Terminix, so I just continued with the pest control. I'm not really sure if it's beneficial for me to do it because Terminix is more expensive. The only reason I kept Terminix was because I already had the termite bond with them. After I got the service, I noticed that some prices were lower with other places. The technicians are good. They seem very knowledgeable and willing to help. How often they come out works pretty well. I kind of wish that it was more consumer-driven as opposed to being scheduled because you may not need another visit. They pretty much put down the traps. They come out for one visit, and then after two weeks, they come for another one. I have to pay another bill, and I don't understand what was the second visit for. So, it just seemed a bit much. Why did they have to come out another time? I didn't request it.

    It seems excessive. So, it should be more consumer-driven. Otherwise, it seems like they're just sending people out looking to make more money out of it. If you treat the problem, at least give it a month or two to see if it's gonna work. I don't need another technician in two weeks when it was just treated. Terminix is a good service. You just have to be watchful of them because it seems like they might take advantage of you if you're not careful.

    Buyer Beware. The first technician who came out did not know the difference between a shingle roof and a steel roof. He told me that they would seal the house and catch the squirrels in the attic. Cost $2,000.00 but guaranteed against rodents for a renewal policy of $200/year. The second technician came out with a foam spray can. He told me they did not do problems with roofs (which I was now told was the squirrel access) and they were not going to fix the crawl space access. He sprayed around the places where plumbing pipes went through the floor and said he would return and replace the crawl space door. He placed one live trap in the attic. They returned and the crawl space repair was to nail a board over part of the dog door access. More spray foam under the door. From the smell, I assume the squirrel died in the wall. They left one live trap in the attic.

    The contract I signed electronically after the 1st man explained everything says I owe them $2,000. I am legally required to pay this amount. Get the local neighborhood boy to help with the spray foam and you can replace their $2,000 bill for about $50. I thought they were a reputable national company. Never trust what their people tell you because they know nothing and whatever you are told is meaningless.

    I pay 700 bucks a year for termite coverage because about every three months, I get a bill for just a few cents under 180 bucks. I get an email for service and I go along with that. Their technician showed up in the interval that was in the email. He let us know he was here at our home. He did his job and he told me that my dogs could go out in about 30 minutes. I always wait an extra 30 minutes. He was professional and polite. He answered the few questions I had.

    We were having a roach issue in the last two years and I talked to the technician about that. The roaches didn't go away. I've lived in Texas all my life and roaches don't go away. I have the expectation that Terminix gets rid of all the roaches. The roach count drops and the body count from the Terminix visit increases. We're pretty happy. Terminix is good. They did a pretty good job of showing up when they say they're gonna show up.

    Terminix might be a good company but their Key West office is terrible. They took my money and never performed services as promised. They sent false reports about treatment and never came in the house. I have been trying to get a refund for weeks but they don’t respond to calls, etc.. Initially they came out and verified we had termite infestation. It is very easy to spot (wings, termite dust, etc.). They sent reports stating there is no evidence (again, they never came in the house). The situation is getting worse so we had to call a local company that was honest and much more professional. I really want my money back but can’t get any response.

    I contacted with Terminix in November of 2022. I had noise in the attic, a salesman came out and without a full inspection told me that it was mice. Interesting that he could tell that by putting his phone up in a 1500 sq ft space and snapping pics claiming droppings. Well it was very expensive and he promised that they would get them out in time. The pest control team came out and sprayed etc, then the exclusion team came out and supposedly sealed the outside to keep out any new visitors. They also put 2 traps at the attic entrance large attic and never got up in the attic. I was told to wait a few weeks it takes time. Well the noise cont. I called. They sent another rep out, initially he did not show, or call. I rescheduled. He came out, went into the attic, laid traps, patch holes, etc. He could not get holes in the front and told me that a team would come out and fix. They never showed so I called and got his boss.

    After he did another no show no call. This rep promised to come the next day and never showed or called. He sent me a text stating that my service was completed although he never showed. I reported this to his mgr. He came out to do the service and spotted a hole in the roof area the pest is dragging the installation out tossing on the ground. He thinks a larger animal may be causing the problems and that he would check with his boss to see if he would allow him to go up and fix the hole, if not he said that he would fix it from inside. He ver scheduled to come back, will not respond to text or voicemails. He left a voice mail once and I was not able to get a response from him by phone, text or his cust serv reps whom I have made many calls to no avail. Even the local branch mgr will not return calls. I have left messages to no avail.

    I feel that they have deserted the job and refuse to communicate after taking the full payment up front and not honoring their 2yr warranty to get the job done. They simply do not care about their customers. It is not the customers fault if they are short handed. I am totally unhappy with their lack of concern and follow up. Their escalation region is no better. They claim to call in 48hrs. Well they don't and I just called and got the same customer serv rep after a 2 week no call. Now working on my next 48hrs. I would be satisfied to have my money returned as they have not honor the contract. And I will move on to find a company that cares about their customers.

    We've been using Terminix for over 35 years at every property that we've owned and they've done good by us. We have the termite annual plan here also as we had with all of our other previous properties. I get a text ahead of time saying that it's time for our service. We are notified of the date. We don't need to be there ‘cause it's external but if we have any issues on the inside, we let the rep know.

    I was a customer with Terminix in Vickburg, MS for over 3 years. I had a Termite Bond, Termite bait stations and pest control services through the company. I moved out of state and put my house up for sale. When I had a contract I needed to get a Termite Letter/Wood destroying insect report (WDIR). I called Terminix as that is who I had all my services through. Over the phone I was quoted a range of $100 to $150 or this inspection. They said the exact price would be given to me by the inspector before performing inspection. The day of the inspection the inspector never called me before inspection. He did call me after the inspection to try and upsell me on getting pest control. I explained I was closing on the house in 2 weeks so wasn't going to pay for pest control for the new owners. He said he understood and we ended the call.

    Within the next day or I received what I thought was the WDIR via email (with a note saying here is the document you requested) with a bill for $327. I forwarded the WDIR to the closing attorney and I called Terminix to find out why I was charged twice the amount of the high end of the quotes range. The local number went to a call center and not the local branch. I was told they shouldn't have quoted me anything and that the inspector would have called me with the amount before he started the inspection. I explained that not only was I quoted over the phone but I never got a call with an amount. I only found the amount out when I received the bill. The call center reached out to inspector and was able to get him patched in to the call. He also explained that I shouldn't have been quoted over the phone. I asked why he didn't call me with the price because I wouldn't have approved it as I know in the area $150 or less is the going rate.

    He said well that's what we charge. I ended the call planning on reaching out to the branch manager to discuss the situation. I did reach out a few time to Terminix and they said they would have branch manager call me but he never did. I also checked my account on their website and the WDIR service was not showing up on my account. The day before closing I received a call that the document given by Terminix was not the WDIR as required by state law in order to close but rather some in house Terminix document. I called Terminix again to request the actual WDIR that was required. After being on hold for 20-25 minutes I was told I never received it because I hadn't paid the WDIR fee. I explained I had been waiting for 2 weeks and had requested to talk to the branch manager multiple times.

    At that point I told the lady from the call center, "I'll pay the full amount and get screwed out of $180 if you can get the document I need by the end of today so we can close tomorrow." She put me on hold and called the branch manager. When she came back she said the branch manager said they would not provide the WDIR I requested at all because I had a concern about the pricing. I asked even though I said I would pay full price and was told that I needed to find another company. This was at 4:00 PM the day before closing. This is beyond unprofessional, and I am sure the branch manager did this the day before closing because he didn't like that I had a concern. The man had never even spoken to me.

    I was a relatively happy customer for over 3 years and had never complained. I would recommend staying clear of this company for this reason. I will never do business with Terminix again. As a side note I called a local small pest company explain the situation and he worked late and got my WDIR right out to me. He didn't want to see my closing delayed and get this charged $135 for it. I paid him an extra $50 for being kind enough to bail me out of the situation I was in.

Jason, the tech, has given me a phone number where I can call him if I need to. But a lot of times, we communicate by text. I can call him at any time and he would be responsive.     I probably would not recommend Terminix to do an insulation job. The work got done properly. But it took a while to get there. And it had a lot of stops and issues. I wasn't as pleased with them when it came to that. For the pest control, they couldn't get here as soon as I would have liked, but they kept trying to work to get it in sooner, which they did. And the general technician that usually comes gave us a call. We've had him for a long time. He lets us know when he would be here. He calls the day before. And he would call that he’s coming, "Hey, I'm almost there." We would tell him if there was anything new that we got. And he worked it out to get here and do what he always does. So, it was very easy. Initially, it would be a week before they could get here, but they got it within the next day. So, they did do a good job.

    Whenever we see anything, we call Terminix and they would come and take care of it. When they call and say when they're coming and ask if that would it be a good time, they are very courteous. We have two gates and we open the gate on one side. A tech would be walking outside and doing work near the walls and looking for the bugs. Before he leaves, he’ll ring the doorbell and tell us that he didn't find any or he sprayed some places where he saw ants. Terminix is very dependable and they do a good job.

    I acquired their services in January, they are supposed to come weekly to check on rodent traps, I had a good technician that came about 3 times (Mike). Did a great job however since about a month ago it’s been an ordeal to get the technician to come over, they sent a new one that misrepresented his work indicating he had checked the traps when in fact he didn’t, I discussed with service manager and got Mike one more time but it’s been three weeks or so that in spite of scheduling the technician doesn’t come, this is a yearly contract called exclusion and I am paying close to a thousand for it, the minimum I expect is a scheduled visit to actually happen, it doesn’t.

    I moved in with my boyfriend and referred him to Terminix because we had carpenter ants. The rep gave him a quote and my boyfriend accepted the quote that was given. Later that evening, they charged his card for $4,000. But when the rep got back to the office, he called and said his boss told him the quote was too low and that they needed $4,000 more to pay for the service. My boyfriend aid, "No, I'm not gonna do that. What are my options?" And the gentleman told him he can cancel the work order and get his money back, so he did. And the work was never done and he requested that the $4,000 payment be refunded back to his credit card, and it still hasn't been done yet.

    But I don't have an issue with the Terminix techs who come to my house. They're very nice and courteous. I have a spray done every three months. They usually text me two days before they come and let me know when they're coming out so I can let them know if there are any issues inside the house that they need to spray for. They text me when they arrive because I'm usually at work and text me again when they leave. There are hardly any bugs at all after they spray.

    I was having problems with ants. I didn't want them to get a foothold in my lawn and eventually try to get into the home.     We get a report when Terminix comes on a quarterly basis, then we get the termite inspection once a year. We normally would get a report with a photo of a gentleman who would come out and that would usually be Gene. But the gentleman who recently came out was different. I didn't have any problems with him other than the fact he didn't show up until it was after 4:00 in the afternoon. We were getting ready to go out to dinner, then he said he was 20 minutes away and asked if he could still come. I hesitated but I didn't want to inconvenience him because we already had to change the date of the appointment. So, I told him to come on over and he did. He was polite and seemed to do his thing.

    For this recent service, I had a scheduling issue but it was not the technician's fault. I had to reschedule and when I was all set up, the tech didn't arrive. I called Terminix and they said I was not on for that day and that I was scheduled for another day. But I told them that I couldn't do that day and asked why they changed it. I knew who I spoke to and I gave the information. So then, I rescheduled the appointment. Whoever has been doing their scheduling the last several months is not doing a good job. I never had this problem last year. I understand there's some scheduling people that aren't local and I don't know where they're from. But they don't communicate very well with the customer.

    Other than that, Terminix is always good when they come out and I have no complaints about their service. They're efficient, too. A lot of people use another company down here and everybody tells us to use them. But Terminix has been taking care of this house since before we bought it and we don't have any reason to change.

    Terminix comes and does the areas where they need to spray, and they take a closer look. Sometimes, it's not the same person, but so far, the treatment has worked. If we need additional spraying like last year, we call and they come and do a second fumigation, if we are still having some of those pesky bugs. Recently, a technician came to do an inspection and to spray, and my husband pointed out the areas we wanted treated for black spiders and crickets, which are the two main things that we deal with. It was good. We even got an automated message that they can come back in case we still had this problem.

    This year, we had a problem with billing. We refinanced our house, and my husband had to order extra services because they found some termites. There was some disconnect with Terminix and we kept receiving a message about the termites. It got fixed, but there was a bit of going back and forth with the billing department.

    I had carpenter flies that they would make holes around the perimeter of the roof. Every Terminix person that came out here was respectful and did their job. They were extremely professional. However, one tech sprayed around and I asked him if he would fill in the holes, and he said, "We don't do that. That's old school." My idea of a complete job would be to spray it and when there's a hole, just put wood putty in there just to conceal the hole that were made by the bugs. If there was a nest in there, fill that gap in. Now, I have to hire another contractor to come and finish the job. The salesman directed the problem to his management and was still "We don't do that." I can't do it myself as I'm 83 years old.

    The gentlemen that normally come out from Terminix are Andreas and an older gentleman. The older gentleman is going to be retiring, and I understand, but I'm sad. I've built a rapport with them and they know what's going on in the house. I don't have to explain it from scratch. Andreas and the older gentleman are also really good about calling, texting and letting me know that they're gonna be coming and doing what they need to do. If we've ever had problems, the problem has been resolved. I haven't had to call the manager. So far, so good. Terminix has taken care of everything, including some rodents in the attic.     They failed to call or notify me that they were gonna be coming, so only half of my house got done. Also, there are a lot of times that I'm not home when they do the service because their range is too big for me or my wife to be home. I would like to be home when they do it because there are times when I would want to do the inside. Also with the last service, I've definitely noticed more pest activity. But their techs seem to be good.

    I'm greatly in debt to Terminix. I have their service for the quarterly spray, the dry rot termites, the ground termites, and the rat patrol. Their technicians are very good but the management to get the technicians here to do what they need to do has been poor. 11 months ago, we were having an episode where we were seeing some of the dry rot termites. So, the guy came out, drilled through the ceiling, and sprayed. Then, he was going to go up in the attic. But he said he didn't have the right equipment so he couldn't do a very good job. He said he would schedule the guy that has the right equipment to do the job. But the job just got done about three weeks ago and that was almost a 10-month period. When I would call up and ask when were they going to send the guy out, they would send an inspector out. Six times they failed to get the proper guy out. But when he did come out, he did a good job.

    When I called about it, Terminix sent the subterranean inspector out again. I asked if he was just here the previous week and he confirmed. He also said he was wondering why I was calling him. But I told him that I didn't call him. So the communication is poor from the call center. Other than that, Terminix is starting to raise rates. So, if it goes up again, I'm going to have to go out and get the job on the open market.

    A guy came to the door. He was very polite and completely upfront. He went around and gave me a rating of not so good in one field, but he never elaborated it, and nobody ever called back to tell me why I didn't have a complete good result in the examination that he did. But as far as I knew, everything was perfectly fine. One of the things that the company used to do was put yellow stakes at each corner and along the side of the house, and they stopped doing that. But they left the stakes there. That had been there for three years. They're getting chewed up a little bit and they're getting knocked around and hit by the lawn mower. More communication from them would be better. I also want to know why the price is a lot higher. But I'm satisfied with Terminix.

    Terminix has been good about fixing problems or trying to. If I say something to them, they come out and they try to do something about it. They put some sort of barrier on the outside to keep the pests from chewing in certain areas. When we had mice downstairs, I told them to get rid of the batting and replace it with a good one and they would get rid of the mice and they did that. They also put in mice traps to try to catch anything that tried to to get in the batting again. They check and replace the traps that need to be replaced. They put the great, big ones that go on the outside that give them poison. So, really and truly, we've been pretty good.

    The only problem I have is that they don't check with me, I almost always have to call them, except for maybe the pest control. And I never know when they're coming until the last minute. Also, there are two parts to this Terminix business. There are people who work on ordinary pests like bugs and then there are people who work with pests like squirrels and mice. The last one is called inclusion and the inclusion group has been a better service than pest control. There have been times when I've had ants that I treated myself. I don't think the pest control group does as good a job. I've been tempted to quit having them because I didn't feel like they were really doing me much service.

    Terminix sends a salesman to verbally promise you and sell you things they can't deliver. They charged extra for early cleanup and after not hitting the deadline, they kept the money. The workers that come to your house are mostly ex-Cons with gang tattoos. Then a year later you are fraudulently charged with a $420 annual service fee you did not ask for or want. Then after canceling and promised to have to get the refund, after several phone calls and a month I was told it was first credited to the account, then promised it was sent back twice, finally had to just call my credit card for a reversal. Terminix is a business run by SCAM local operators with no Corporate oversight. I rather let the Termites eat my house than hire Terminix.

    I've had Terminix since 2014 and they come quarterly. I had some critters in my house and they took care of that. They also insulated my crawl space upstairs. But last time, their box truck had driven over and that left big ruts in beginning of my driveway, in my lawn through my flower bed. The tech, Steve, is gonna come over and check it out.

    When I first moved in, I noticed bugs. I get Terminix to come every quarter and it seems to work. They came last quarter to do the outside. They come and do the inside if I need it. They make sure the termites aren't coming in.

    I contacted Terminix to provide pest control services. The finance company is SMAC, which is horrible company too. After not showing up to the property to provide the service I decided to cancel after two months, they only show up once to the property. I was still charge for the entire year by the company SMAC. I try to communicate with Terminix and they never try to follow up and investigate the situation. Horrible experience, it's better to find a local company instead of Terminix. BEWARE OF TERMINIX.

    Terminix is good and very thorough. Whatever I tell them to do, they would do it. Whenever I need them to come out, they would come out. But my gate is locked so they couldn't get inside the gate to do the surrounding of the home. And sometimes, I may want them to do my basement but they couldn't get in. There's no one there. So, it keeps a trip. Just be proactive and call me, and we could get someone there. If I need to clean up my basement, I can do it so they could get through. Even if it's a recording, "We'll be there tomorrow." They don't have to give a specific time as long as I know they're coming. And not when they are coming in 30 minutes, and they would say they're on their way. Other than that, they're great. I've had them for five years.

    Worse company I have ever gotten service from. I was told they would spray the inside and outside of the property for free for the first service, then proceeded to only spray the inside. I called and told them I wasn't going to pay because the guy used aerosol cans which I could've done. I then told them I didn't want to continue my service and they still sent someone out again and I told the guy that I wasn't wanting him to spray again and that I ended my service and he left without doing anything and Terminix charged me for it. They have been trying to contact me and finally I picked up the phone and it was Terminix acting like they were from collections and told me I was going to have to pay. I hung up obviously, and called Collections myself did a whole background check and nothing came up for the past 6 years! They are liars and don't care about their customers!!

    Over this last year, I've had the same guy with Terminix, which has been great. But what they ended up doing was they kept transferring the techs to different areas and that was how I ended up with someone new. But this guy that came was very nice and thorough. He talked to me and answered all my questions. So I was okay with him. I felt comfortable with him. All was well.

    I have had some pests and it's been disturbing where I keep seeing them. I call Terminix and then they come back and it straightens up a little bit. But for the most part, it's been one or two pests here and there. When Terminix comes, I let them know when they come in, and they service the inside as well as the outside. This most recent time, I saw a bug in my house after they left and that was the only one I have seen. Their spraying probably stirred the pests up a little. Most of the time when I see the pests, they're already dead. I've had trouble in the past with mice and they helped me out with that in my basement and garage, which really was not fun at all. But they got that straightened out for me.

    I've been happy with Terminix. The only qualm is getting different people. I like to stay with the same person. But I know that isn't always doable. I just spoke to someone because my price had went way up. She said it won't be reflected on this bill. So I'll be paying more on this next bill coming. But the one after that, she was able to take a little bit off of what they now raised the price to. They just raised it a few months back, and now they were trying to raise it on me again. So I was a little unhappy about that. But overall, Terminix is a good company.

    I had no termites when I contracted with them. At Billy's request, "because they're everywhere", I contracted for subterranean termites after my initial pest control, so I signed up for the bundle. Then I was being double billed lol. Once for the pest control and once for the bundle. Still waiting for my refund for the double billing. Then and only because I decided to redo my floors guess what I found??? Subterranean termites... Total infestation. Huge nest, the whole deal. No indication of termites before. Not through his inspection, no wings, no wood decay, nothing. What can he offer me? Treatment. So I get treatment, nest removal, and guess what? I still have termites...

    Today they bill me again and I call to cancel. Not only are they not going to credit me, offer me any refund, pay for my damage, but they're going to charge me a cancellation fee. That is until I speak to my local branch, the branch that can only offer me treatment as a remedy. The treatment that didn't work. And the treatment which allowed a nest to form a mere foot from a bait station... a bait station, 13 of them actually, which should have never allowed this to happen in the first place.

    We've had to change our treatment plan. I'm still waiting for Terminix to decide whether they're going to help me under the contract and fix some of the damage that was done.     Terminix is not a wonderful company. I get scheduled for times that are convenient for them but not convenient for me. A tech comes too early and he makes a racket. My dogs start barking and I wake up at 8 o’clock on Saturday with a feeling that Terminix is not a considerate company. There are limited services where I live. We started with Terminix and never canceled. They've been kind in some ways initially and the guy I originally had was quite wonderful. I used to get a call from somebody who was really connected and interested in my family. But the district he's handling is now in Kihei. We've had three or four different people show up here and do different things.

    Also, my dogs once ate some of the poison from the trap because the poison wasn't put in right. I had to call the company that makes the poison and find out if my dogs are gonna die. The company described to me what they looked like - white and green and blue little circular pellets. There's nothing that the dogs eat or do that would yield that in their stool. The company told me my dogs would be all right. But they were so sick. I called the vet and I was told I would have to give the dogs liquid charcoal twice a day and maybe that would absorb the poison. It was a horror show.

    I told Terminix about what happened and they were going, “Oh, that's too bad.” The guy who did the job was in a hurry. I didn't see him again after that. Terminix is a hit-and-miss company. They don't spray and just fill the traps up. We see fewer rats. Sometimes we see them dying and it's a horrible thing to see. They get very thirsty. I pay excessive amounts of money to Terminix. We have several places that are serviced by them. We have an account for our house and we have a commercial account for the place where I work and down the hill.
