The last time Terminix came, they found a wasp nest and took care of that problem. The service has always been good. They're friendly and cooperative. We're on a fixed cycle and they text me when they're coming out. There have been a couple times where I asked them to come out the following week and scheduling has always been very easy.

I've had Terminix for 30 years and they're going through growing pains. I'm tired of getting different people every other time. I have to show the people what I want each time. Some of their technicians are good guys but some are bad. I had to call back and tell them, “I don't wanna see that guy again.”

The technician had an hour and a half window to arrive and cancelled an hour into it telling me his computer app is down. So keep the appointment and pull out a hard copy and enter the information when the app comes back up. How hard is that? He couldn’t do it so he rescheduled for the same time the next day. The next day he doesn’t show up and doesn’t bother to even call this time. Now it’s Friday of a holiday weekend but someone texts saying they would come out on the holiday…sorry at this point I’ve already contacted Orkin who handled the job.

It's basic that I have a contract with Terminix for 10 years and they come when they're needed (three times or four times a year) and do the best they can. I'm in Florida, so there are always pests, but I have a very good technician.

I have an old wooden home. I have the termite inspection with Terminix and if something happened, they would repair everything and not just try to patch it. It would be a true full repair. They come twice a year. The techs have been very friendly and nice. They've been very reliable and professional. They've always been very good to deal with. They've gradually increased their price over the years. But after 30-some-odd years, you would expect that. But I find it fair.

Shortly after I moved in my house, I had termites downstairs. I got service from Terminix and they were always here when they said they were going to be here. Most of the time, when I want to set an appointment, the schedule I want would be open and I could go right away when I wanted to. The technicians are all very good and I never had a problem with any of them. The one I had last time was phenomenal and the best I've ever had. Since the service, I haven't seen any bugs at all. All in all, Terminix is very good. Sometimes you hear about places being cheaper, but I'm afraid to switch because I'm satisfied with who I have.

I would highly recommend Terminix. They came out fast when I called about a yellowjackets' nest that I had, and the tech took care of half of it. We took care of the rest. I also had to call him back to get that monitor thing that goes in the house, because I had him to do my cross space. He was nice.

I live in a new housing development and we have plenty of other people that are giving good deals. I called Terminix and let them know that. They told me my rate won't go up. I had the guy come out, spray the inside and the outside then I got billed and it had gone up by $25. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do that time, but the next time, they could give me a lower rate. They said that person must have been new and didn't know. They wouldn't give me any of my money back from billing and I'm not gonna dispute it with my credit card 'cause it's just gonna be a waste of my time.
I took the lower rate to keep Terminix for the next three months. But they'll be canceled before I'm ever billed again. I've been a long-time customer but I'm a nothing to them. Loyalty doesn't matter. They just want new customers. It's like they treat you like crap because you get grandfathered in on a really good rate. I brought them a lot of business but they forgot all of that. Also, their technicians change all the time. Since living here, I've had five techs. With three kids, it's hard. They only come on Saturdays, and it's like having some weirdo walking in my house. Right now, I have a guy who's great and I love him. He knows exactly what he's doing. He gives remedies of what I can do instead of doing the chemicals on the floor. But the next month, who knows if it's gonna be different? When I lived in Louisville, I had one guy for years.

I'm very satisfied with Terminix. Whatever I'm calling about, they've always tried to accommodate us. The technician comes when he's supposed to and I've never had a problem. If I have a concern, like a new bug shows up, I always talk to him about it and he takes care of it if it isn't already in the mix that he sprays. We had those beetle bugs here really bad and a few other things and he added the mixture in to help. You might see a few, but nothing like it used to be. I noticed where he sprays we have less wasps and nests. It's helped around here because we have a log home and flying creatures tend to make nests. It takes a while to clean all that off. But he does a good job and I had to do very little. We had termites come up from underneath our house to the bathroom. They came right out, checked it and sprayed it. Whatever they did, it took care of it.

Terminix has been responsive. We still have a lot of pests. So, we're gonna keep an eye on things and see if we need to do anything more extreme. We might have a lot of points of entry from outside that we need to figure out how to control. One gross thing is that bugs still are making their way inside, but then they die once they get inside. So, I find a lot of dead bugs everywhere, which is a little creepy. We've had Luisito twice for the pest control and we really like him. Then I've had a couple different guys for different services.

I was looking for a pest control service in the area that I moved to to help with my grandpa's home, and Terminix was one of the top-listed ones, so I gave them a call. It went really well. My interactions with the guy that I spoke to were perfect, and even with the guy that was sent out. Everybody that's been sent out has done top-tier customer service.
I appreciate the follow-up that Terminix provides as well as the techs that they send out. They're very respectful, knowledgeable, and even when I asked the most outlandish questions, they can find the answer for me. They're good about calling back to check on services as well. Because of the area I live in, there are gonna be some insects that try to make their way in, especially with the weather that we've had, but it's been kept down to very much a minimum. I haven't noticed anything inside the home, and for what the service is, the peace of mind is priceless.

The man that came out to my home to do the every 3 month spraying and dusting out of cob webs around my home did nothing. He was caught on my cameras on his phone talking about his air conditioning system and just standing on the rocks in my back yard. He did nothing. I called in, cancelled and told them I refused to pay 147.00 when he did nothing. No one from management ever called me back and yet I had called 6 times on this issue. I was finally told by a very rude Customer Service person that it had been settled and I had to pay or it would go to collections. I had used Terminix for 6 years. What a horrible thing to do to people who have trusted in your services. I will never use this service again and will never recommend to anyone I know. Make sure they do their job!!

Scam. Tricked into a 1 year contract that costs $900 to escape. They do not come out but every 3 months but charge my credit card $104 monthly...I only wanted one treatment. This was for my 74 year old mother who I feel was taken advantage of.

We have been loyal Terminix customers for over 10 years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. On September 13, 2023, Terminix installed crawl space insulation and vapor check at my home, and it has NEVER worked properly. Despite multiple calls and visits from technicians, the system is still malfunctioning, and the unresponsiveness of Terminix is beyond frustrating.
Even worse, the ongoing issues are causing damage to my bedroom floor, and despite promises to fix the problem, it’s now been weeks with no resolution. Trying to reach corporate is impossible, as everything gets funneled through a call center that does nothing but delay the process. Terminix, this is unacceptable. Please address this issue IMMEDIATELY before the damage worsens and/or reaches a point that the entire floor has to be replaced. I would appreciate it if someone in a position of leadership/authority (the ability to correct the issue) contacts me.

I hired them to do mosquito abatement and they did a couple of treatments, but it wasn't successful. But I don't think anybody that I've hired has been successful with the mosquito problem that's in Los Angeles. They were nothing but helpful and responded to my calls when I needed them. The gentleman was very nice. I left my clicker underneath the mat so that he could get into the gate. I asked him to put it through the mail slot when he was done, which he did. All that stuff meant a lot to me that somebody followed instructions to follow the security of my home. One time, I was having an issue with a squirrel in my house but sadly, they were unable to come at the time that I needed them and I eventually had to take care of the situation myself. But I hired two termination companies unknowingly at the same time and I went with the one who had lesser rates so I'm not with Terminix anymore. But they were very sweet. They were willing to work with me but I had already given a contract to somebody else.

Everything's been great with Terminix. My service tech is a great guy. He takes care of me and explains everything, and he's always concerned. I can call him any time, and he reaches out. He's an asset. Dante is a great guy. He does everything for me. He'll tell me the best time. He'll make sure it's on my days off and we work from there. He knows what time I get home.
I used to have Centipedes. I don't have them anymore. Every time he sprays, he says, "If you see one, let me know." He's looking into creases or cracks. It was the whole nine yards. In the beginning, I used to see pests here and there but he said, "Oh, I got the super stuff." Now, I haven't seen anything, and I live by the trees. The only catch is their prices are crazy going up, and I've been a customer for Terminix 16 years. My place is 2000 square feet. People that have almost double my size pay less than I do. I don't understand that the prices keep going up.

We're using Terminix because of subterranean termites. Everything was good with scheduling. Usually, when we call, the scheduling process takes about five days. I'm supposed to set up another appointment with Terminix.

We've been with Terminix for a long time but we had dropped them off one time for a month. Then, we went right back with them. They gave us a good price and it was cheaper than what we were paying. Every now and then, the techs change but everyone who has come out has been good. They do their job like they're supposed to.

When I have a service, Terminix calls me and lets me know they're coming. It's on a routine. When I see techs, they're fine. Sometimes when they come, I may not be at home. The only way I know if they were here is when they text me and let me know that they're coming. They are supposed to be since sometimes very few that they may send me a text and say, "We're finished." But that is slim and none. But this last time, I got a report on my door and that was the first time ever, as long as I've had the service. One time I questioned the guy about whether he had been here, and he told me he had, and he said, "To make you satisfied, I will come back by there and let you meet me so you know who was at your house." He did that. I know that there have been different people with Terminix and the only reason why I know when they come or they've gone is because they bill me automatic.
The reason why I got Terminix was for the termites, and that did stop right away. But now, with the mosquito, I don't even know whether that's working because of the way the mosquitoes are around here. I've been thinking about another company for mosquitoes, but you just hate to have these different companies and all these bills coming from everywhere. But if someone needs a service, I would recommend Terminix because they did take care of my initial call.

A gentleman came in and did a very thorough job explaining everything that he was touching, moving or looking into. He seemed to know what he was doing, so he had some expertise, which was good. He was friendly but he was very efficient and thorough. He got the work done and then, he was on his way. He was just out for the yearly inspections to make sure that there was no active evidence of termites. I had shown him where we first thought that we might have termites and he checked those areas very thoroughly. He said he didn't see anything there so, that was a relief.
Dealing with Terminix over the years, normally, no one comes out here until July, which is fine with me. A couple of years ago, I canceled our bug or insect spraying because it seemed like a whole lot of money for very little return. We live in a very wooded area so spiders and insects are always on the exterior of the house. Even before we had Terminix, we've been very grateful that we don't have any problems with bugs inside the house. Periodically, I will get a text from an outside extermination treatment from Terminix that says we’re due for our outside and I’ll text back and say I’m not due until July and I will let them know when I want them to come out.
I live on a gated property and the gate is locked. You cannot just schedule a date for me that you're going to be here and expect to be able to get into my property, because if I'm not here and you've scheduled a time to be out, you can't get to my property. And that is the downside of trying to help Terminix understand that I don't live in a subdivision. You can't just walk up to my house and spray the exterior and get back in your truck and go. We have friends who also live out as we do and I have told them that Terminix does a good job. So, I have recommended them. When friends get together and they ask who's doing the spraying out here, I tell them Terminix. As I get older and my income decreases, their prices increase. The last time, we paid $348. If that's what I have to pay to keep my contract and to have an expert person walk around my house to say what I had already concluded, that I don't see any active termites, then that's what I have to pay.

Service technician Dominic ** came out this morning and performed a thorough assessment of the exterior of my home and applied treatment to several areas. He was also very patient in taking the time to answer my questions and explain exactly how the treatment will affect the infestation. I feel satisfied with the amount of time spent, assurances and explanations given. I still feel that the service was a little pricey for me. Thank you.

My experiences with the Pleasanton CA Terminix office has been and continues to be one of the worst experiences dealing with any type of Service Provider in my life. The Inspector/Sales Person came to my home while work was being done on the home and the siding was off of two sides of the home, the inspector, Ana, briefly walked around the outside of the home after I showed her where I had spotted the Termite infestation, she agreed that there was clearly an infestation, and that treatment was needed.
The next day when the treatment technician arrived, I showed him the evidence of infestation over the garage door (also noted in Ana’s report). He went under the house for approximately 15 - 20 minutes, in a totally different area of the house. He said that he had applied treatment to the soil under the kitchen area. I asked how is spraying the ground going to treat the infestation over the garage door area? He answered “They have to go back underground eventually”, I later learned that this treatment to the ground is for prevention of future infestations of subterranean termites. I have learned that he lied to me, and on his reports about what had been done and time spent. I have also learned that Ana had also lied to me about many things including payment and options.
The Initial Inspection report shows and Documents the areas where Infestation was seen. The Technicians report says that there were no areas of Infestation seen and that he applied 54 ounces of something (not specified on report) to the ground under the kitchen, and that he spent 4 hours there. The final Termite Report shows “Clear”.
The office has been a nightmare to deal with, each person that I have spoken with had a totally different story about everything. I have been told that I cannot escalate my concerns to management, I can only speak with Ana, whom I feel has lied to me about almost everything that she has said to me. I don’t know what I was charged $1865 for or if David (Treatment Technician) did anything at all while under the house for 15 - 20 minutes. This is a very short compressed version of what I am going through with this company. They know that I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and they continue to prevent me from speaking with anyone other than Ana. This makes absolutely no sense at all to me!!

We had a minor dry wood termite problem that Terminix convinced us was a bigger problem than it was. We have had subterranean termite coverage with Terminix for 10+ years. The technicians that came to spray were very friendly & we had no problem with them. The salesman, Joshua, convinced us we needed a full house treatment including spraying outside & the attics. We are senior citizens on a limited budget & this cost us $ 1760.00. Of course, the salesman convinced us we would spend more in the long run if we did not do this service. When the technicians came, they only did a spot treatment. They used a few sprays of Termidor foam which can be purchased on Amazon for $ 33.81 per can. When I messaged the salesman to let him know we only received a spot treatment, he ghosted me. Buyer beware!

Just a terrible experience. When I called and made the original appointment, they first sent out an inspector, not a technician. Then the technician came - said the quote I had received was "way too much" for a townhome the size of mine. I agreed and I hadn't signed anything yet. She spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with the branch to get the amount changed. She told me they had agreed, but she hadn't gotten the new contract yet. She asked me if I would sign the existing one, agreeing that the work had been done, and she would follow up on it that evening and give me a call to confirm. No call, and no corrected charge.
I have now reached out to that person three times and, each time, she has ghosted me after telling me she would "look into it". Before my second treatment, I was called by Terminix Customer Satisfaction. I told the lady that the technician had done a fine treatment job, but also messed up my bill and I was completely dissatisfied. She asked me for the details, which I gave, and she told me that it would be "no problem" to adjust that charge to the amount agreed, and went ahead and scheduled my second service. The technician (a different one) came and seemed to do a good job treating the house, but the charge hit my credit card at the old (much higher) amount.
I have now gone through customer service chat twice with no resolution. The latter time I was told that this had all been reported to "the branch" and they would follow up within 24-48 hours. Again, I have heard nothing. I am a patient person, and I understand sometimes mistakes are made. However, this is at least 6 different attempts to get this rectified and I was "mis-led" once, and ghosted on any follow up the other five times. Clearly the hope is that I'll just leave it be rather than try again against this wall of delay.

I've been using Terminix for several years. I initially had some issues with ants and they took care of that very quickly. It's always been pleasant and informative with their techs. The only thing is the cost keeps going up.

I use Terminix for my property in Long Island, and I had one for my dad in Flushing. We had them over to do termite control and all the pests. The service so far is fine. They did solve our issue. They're a little pricey, but because they were a big franchise store that I don't have to be afraid of being ripped off or they won't do the job and they offer a lot of reassurances like insurance of up to 250,000 if we ended up with termite damage under their care. So, I like that. I like the technicians who come over. They're friendly.
I had my own thing with them for my own property. And for the first time, I was able to cancel without an issue. However, my parents don't speak English. My parents legally signed it, but that was me translating to them that, "It's fine. It's this and that." I talked to Terminix on the phone and they did not disclose that it was a one-year contract. They said they would have the branch call me back in 24 or 48 hours but it has been 24 hours. I'm still waiting for somebody to call me back.

I had a couple of roaches, and when it comes to stuff like that, I understand that people just never know. Somebody can come and visit the house, and then something crawls out. Yesterday, I asked Terminix to come back outside of the time that they normally come. I spoke with one of the 1800 number ladies who scheduled everything, and I really appreciated her professionalism and how she had patience and took time to try to find a good time. I really appreciate her knowledge as well.
I've been with Terminix for years, and they've been worth every penny. Every three months, they come out, and the products that they're using do what they are intended for because I don't have any type of pest problem. There was once before, over the years, when I've had them come back before the next treatment was due. All in all, Terminix has been very reliable. They normally treat the outside, and the person who comes in is very professional. The only thing I don't like is the price. It started out at 79, and it has gone up over the years.

The Terminix guy that always comes out and does service here is very thorough. I like him and he does a great job. When I had termite treatment, because I've got rocks around my house, the guys who came out dug a trench, which they were supposed to do. But when they were putting things back, they didn't put things back the way they were. So I'm going to have to go back out there, pull the stones away from the house, lay down the stuff to keep grass from growing up, and I'm going to have to redo it. The Terminix guys also broke a concrete, so when my regular service guy came, he got in touch with his manager and his manager got in touch with me. It took about two months but they replaced it and everything else has been fine.

Check out Terminix. Their rep was very informative and cordial. The techs put those little things in the ground, around the perimeter of the house. I haven't seen any bugs and mice.

My husband brought back from somewhere bed bugs, and he did not know that he had them. So one day, he complained that he felt like he was being eaten up. He changed the sheets and said, “I think I saw a bedbug in my sheets that I pulled off the bed.” We checked things out, and we did that. We called Terminix because it was different places. Terminix was ready to come. They set up an appointment. And the tech came out and wouldn't let us in the room for many hours, because of the poison. I have asthma, and the best thing for me to do is stay away.
He was very nice about it. He explained everything to us, and he was very comforting too because he said, “I know you guys think this is terrible, but don't feel that way, because a lot of people have them and it's easy to get rid of if you follow instructions.” He was concerned. He showed us the different spots that we needed to pay close attention to and gave us the warnings not to go in the room. And we're still not allowed in the room.
He also said keep an eye out for it in the rest of the rooms, even though he checked them. He said, “You just never know, because those little boogers like to hide. They hibernate.” He was very concerned about us and he even came back and checked it out and said, “It looks like it's been taken care of,” but I'm a little apprehensive. And he said, “I'll come back in two weeks.” He was right there when he said he would be, talked to us and explained things, and I would recommend him to anybody.

I used Terminix years ago, and it still costs me money here with the termite plan I got, and I pay for this mouse plan every three months. I couldn't get rid of it and we still get a few mice here and there. Terrminix patched all the holes but I would still get mice. I wanted to end this problem and they tried to sell me, “Put this stuff underneath the metal under the spot on the side of the house.” I couldn't afford these things. I already spent 2,000 with them. Other than that, I had a wasp under my neck and the people came by and got rid of the big mess. Michelle and Chris were great.

Terminix does a fantastic job, and whatever infestation that you have, they will get it done. I used them before for a problem I had in my own house, so I decided to use them again because they fixed that problem. I figured they could fix this one. They did a great job with my problem at my home. On the first trip, they did a very good job with my infestation problem.
The only thing I didn't like is they gave me one time, and they turned around and gave me a different time that day of, because they were supposed to come that morning between 8:00 and 12:00. When they didn't show, I called and they told me it would be between 1:00 and 5:00. Other than that, the job was done well. My duplex had a problem with roaches. The tech bombed the apartment on both sides and did a good job. It has become a lot better.

Jose, the guy that comes all the time, is very polite and does a thorough job. He sprayed inside for spiders. On the outside, we have wood bees, carpenter bees, and also spiders. We mentioned we had rodents too, and they put out these black boxes to try to get rid of the mice. It's gotten better with the spiders inside. We also had Terminix at our other house and they did a great job.

I’m a veteran out of Wisconsin doing a refinance Cash out. Hard to find PEST CONTROL companies that know how to do the proper work for the VA requirements. Terminix have turned into three different companies and one they bought out different companies I believe because the sales person name Alex knew how to do the contracts he did the job of selling to me his outrageous offer of $1450. My house is not infested with termites or carpenter ants. I don’t even have infestation issues outside of the house, etc. I told him my bank that that was outrageous amount of money and right away. Alex said, "Well if you don’t do it, you can’t get The loan," and of course the bank said the same thing.
So I felt like I was bamboozled and to pay that amount because I had no other choice when you look online other people have complain about the prices and that typically a house of 5000 ft.² should be no more than two to $600 worth of work just spray and may be powder, etc. but no complex extra work had to be done in or out the house. I asked Mr. Alex R. about the outrageous amount. Could I get a breakdown of everything I was charged for and I got no response. I believe it should not have been no more than $200 for the service and of course you gotta pay the 250 for them to come out and do an estimate. The service only took an hour and no more than two hours.
My situation not many companies do the VA purple work requirements so you have to really do your due diligence and get different estimates and find out who else does VA require paperwork otherwise you’ll end up paying too much case there was no free estimate because of the VA paperwork, etc. But it does seem like they charge with they want and other reviews on here say the same. I know I did not need that much work and even the service agreed that I did not because I was not infested and sometimes the sales people make their own prices. The self Person Brian M did a great job And was very polite and professional and very tall lol.
If any changes are made or a revision is made to my contract or services to where they make me a happy customer, I will come back on here and revise my statement or my review. for the record, I split my payment into two credit card payments. if needed I can provide proof, but I’m not gonna put two different receipts with my information on them The work was completed today, and Terminix came out here yesterday the northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Oh the only little bit of carcasses for ant carpenter ant he found was in the sub pump area in the basement and nothing else and I said about to swept it up. You probably would not have found anything and charge me so much money and he said oh, I would’ve found something. Smh
Overall, the sales person had a decent attitude and was pleasant. I just felt like I was taking advantage of and charge too much. Oh, and for the record, I had no termites, just your everyday regular bugs and no sign of carpenter ants besides the little carcass, the sales person found. OK, I’ll change my mind. I submitted one of the receipts or one of the half payments just for proof and record.

When I originally signed up I was told I had signed up for annual once yearly fees and there would be no extra charges. That was immediately disproven when it was time for a flea treatment. Called the help number and was told my account was never signed up for annual payment, but quarterly. Then was charged again when I tried to get a touch up service for the yard.
Later on, I tried to cancel my services. I was still charged the full amount, had to call 3 separate times to finally get my account actually cancelled and a refund started. The refund finally was put into the beginning process over 10 days after I initially attempted to cancel my account. Nobody seems to be able to give straight answers without mixing up information or telling what seems to be completely wrong information. I would not trust them with any services again after such a stressful experience. The only positive is that every tech that came to our house was extremely friendly and efficient.

This company is a scam. It cost me almost 700 to put the traps in. Have paid them regularly every year around 300.00 to service them supposedly to protect against damage and repairs up to I think 25k. Do 3 years ago I found a termite in my back porch and noticed the steps were weak and had damage, called the office. The "manager" came out and said, "Yes that's a termite. But the damage is because the wood's old that's all, not termites.. They weren't in your house (it was on the back porch railing), they came from over those trees, we don't cover that."
The following year, I could feel the deck boards getting weak with the same type of damage. So I paid someone to replace the deck about a week or 2 later. I walked outside and had this flying bugs all over the back of my house, to me they looked like termites. Again the "Manager" came out. Nope those are just flying ants, (they didn't look like flying ants) "I'm sure they aren't in the house," he looked under the house and checked 1 trap.. I have I think 14. Told he could set up ant traps, but it would cost more.
He couldn't figure out where they came from. He saw termites by the chicken coop about 50 ft away, but they only protect the house. Marked my inspection done and left. My deck cost me 8500.00. Now I'm seeing the same damage around my door frame. I know that wood is 5 years old, because I replaced the door and sealed it with exterior paint. And the only thing they want to do is send the same "manager" out to deny responsibility again. The technician came out today and checked all the traps, found termites in one by the front porch.. but that's the front porch. Save your money.. Call anyone else. THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM.

Terminix is an awful company to do business with. Their main goal is to sell you on paying a monthly fee, after your initial payment for an issue. A simple request to spray a bees' nest became very difficult with them. I was told that they could spray the nest twice as long as it’s within 30 days. They sprayed once (tech arrived very late), I called them with a week. They then scheduled the second spray several weeks out, which puts you past the 30 days.
This is a deceptive business practice, borderline illegal. They will purposely schedule out past the 30 days. Additionally, I received emails indicating I could sign up for a reoccurring monthly fee. Although I never requested this, they automatically charged my credit card for a monthly fee. When I spoke with them, they said they could not perform my request because I was not on a monthly fee program…. Very bad customer service.

I paid them 2000 in advance. One of their workers came out to do the inspection after they patched a few places up and I was told “you don’t need the services” so I canceled. When I tried to speak with someone about a refund they would hang up in my face and never return my calls, warning don’t use this company.

I called around for pricing and Terminix seemed the most reasonable and it ended up being more cost friendly over time than they were when I initially signed up, with the exception of when they did a $10 price hike for the quarterly of service. The technician I've had since I've had the service has been excellent. He checks on spaces and sprays even though there’s still bait out. However, most recently, I didn't know that my regular technician wouldn't be coming. It was kind of messed up because I called them two weeks before that I wanted my technician. I was kind of upset about that. I had a technician who hadn't come to my property before and he wasn't as thorough. I had to tell him where to go and what to do. Then, I started seeing activity in my house. I don't know if it's because it's gotten hotter but now, they gotta come back and get a respray immediately after my quarterly service, which almost never happens. I would still recommend them to people. It's cheaper to keep the service ongoing rather than call them on a per incident basis.

I pay Terminix quarterly, and it's fair. I usually get the same tech every time, so I'm really familiar with him and he's familiar with my house. He's always really pleasant and asks me if I need anything or if I need him to do anything extra. Typically, I don't have to tell him what to do because he already knows what I want. That’s always helpful. I really appreciate that. He knows that I want him to come in and check my traps and deweb my basement and my garage. The last two times that he came, he was very helpful as usual and he hasn't found anything in the traps, which is a huge plus for me.

A guy from Terminix came in and did some recommendations. My house was built in the '40s, and he was able to look at the deck and how they built it. He was a very knowledgeable person that helped us see things that we hadn't seen. The people that come to the house are very professional. They call and text before they come. They let you know when they're 10 minutes away. When they did the inspection to map out where the ant traps were, they explained everything thoroughly. I have a lot of plants and flowers in my garden and they sprayed something that wouldn't harm the plants. They surveyed the scene and made the best choices for my particular location. They did a really stellar job and I don't have any millipedes in my basement anymore. That first year, the price was a bit high because of the installation of those traps. But beyond the first year, it's reasonable at per month of cost. It's worth not having a whole bunch of creepy-crawlies in the basement.

I had Terminix over a year ago, then I had some insect problem. I called them back again, and the representative was very nice. Terminix scheduled me and gave me a call before they showed up. The techs came in and put the insect traps in the ground. The traps have my house completely surrounded, so before any insects can come into the house, they gotta go over the traps.

We purchased a one time pest control for the inside and outside of our house. The technician who showed up asked what he was doing there because he didn’t know what we had purchased or what or what our issues were. He then told us that you cannot spray or exterminate for cockroaches, which was our issue. He didn’t spray for ants, spiders or any pests. He left our house after refilling the bait traps we purchased on our own and left a tiny bit of bait under a sink. We did not request either of these items to be done, we expected a full extermination, spray for all pests. We called and asked Terminix if we were being charged the whole $249 when the technician did not complete the job. We were told they do not do refunds but would send out another technician to spray the house, inside and out; and actually fulfill the service the paid for. We said OK, scheduled a technician to come out again.
My husband took the day off of work to be there to let him in. He received a text around 1pm and it said the service had been completed. No one had shown up yet we were being notified the job was done. We have cameras inside and out and checked to make sure somehow he didn’t miss him, but low and behold, no one from Terminix came by. We called customer service again and were told even if they no show and service isn’t done, they do not refund. What a scam! This company will charge you for a service, not complete it, then falsify saying someone else came to complete the job when no one even shows up. We’ve had to file a dispute with our credit card company at this point. We filed a formal complaint with Terminix as well and were promised someone would be in contact with us in the next few days. It's now been going on two weeks and we haven’t heard a word.

I've always had these swarms that come into the house. The bugs get in from the rain. They get scared of the rain and they come into the house through whatever ways they can find in, and they fly around, drop their wings, and then try to get out, and scare the hell out of everybody. This particular person from Terminix came in. She was extremely thorough. She can't get enough time to do a full job and she wants to come back. I need to call her to have her come back and finish up. She took a lot of pictures and sent me all the pictures and was gonna present it to her boss and find out what the next steps were. I haven't heard back, but it's only been about 20 days.
She was very concerned. I don't know whether it was a full expert or whether she was just out of training, but she was concerned and she was thorough. And there has been a follow-up only because she said she was gonna contact me when my next due date was if she hadn't heard from me. In the meantime, I've had a flood in my house and my upstairs and downstairs have been flooded. So, I haven't been thinking about that at the present time but I'm certain she's gonna come back and finish up everything she needed to do. My house is kind of big, so she had very little time to get it all done. Terminix seems very on top of it and I pay plenty of money to keep them on top of it. They do the inside and out. They've kept the swarms away from me.

I was originally with Terminix for a couple of years, then I moved to a different place and now I've been back with them for a month. I scheduled my service to be quarterly, but we had a small infestation, so they were to be coming the first time, then they were going to come back a week later. That was taken care of and the technicians were fine.

I called my Terminix tech and he came to the house. He checked out things and he worked around the house outside. I'm very pleased with him. I would get dead mice in the cellar and I wanted them removed. I've had the same person coming, which is good. He comes every three months. Now, I don't have any dead mice lying around. However, I thought that I would have had an annual inspection, but I have not had one yet. But I paid my bill for this new year. Also, their price keeps going up. I'm on a fixed income and it makes it very difficult for me. It used to be 81. Now, up to 119.

I just got the mosquito coverage from Terminix and everything was good. I'm still being eaten up by mosquitoes, but it was the first time. I'm assuming it's every 21 days. I have a pest and a termite contract with them. They come out every three months for the pest, and once a year for the termites. I've had a very good result. Their technicians are always very nice.

Terminix did the service four weeks ago. There's some digging going on in my backyard, and I had a dead mouse. It's mostly a rodent thing that they're coming out for, and it turned out I was due for my six months service. I've had a positive experience with Terminix. They answer my questions and are polite. They're a little bit pricey though.

I had another company that was horrible and I fired them. I got Terminix and though they're a little pricey, they've been great. I hired them eight months ago to do spraying. They come every other week and they came last week to spray for insects. They knock down spider webs and from May to October, they spray for mosquitos. Terminix has good communication. They let me know when they're coming and when they leave. Then I get a report of everything they've done after they leave within half an hour max. If I need to call about something, they're very helpful.

When I have to schedule a service, I call Terminix and it's very straightforward. The reps are friendly and professional, and the guy who comes to exchange the bait stations is knowledgeable. However, we apparently have mice again. My daughter heard something in the bathroom.

I've been satisfied with Terminix, so I haven't shopped differently even though their price is high. Their tech schedules when he's going to come out and lets me know a couple days before when he's going to be coming. So that way I know if I need to be around or if I need to have something done inside the house. Brian is the one who usually comes out. He is very pleasant and explains things if I have questions. Recently, he came to do the quarterly cleanup. I also had to have him come out because I was having a problem with an underground beehive and some ants in the house. So he made another trip to make sure that those were taken care of. And they were taken care of. So far, I've not seen any live black ants.

Terminix has taken care of problems that we didn't even know we had. They found stuff that I didn't because I don't go outside often. Even the spiders went down like coming into the house. My brother brought in a bunch of files from the garage, and there was stuff in it. He found a centipede in the paperwork one day. When the pests started to come back because the grass got tall and it was the season for new colonies, the tech sprayed the house. My brother weed-whacked later that day.
They gave us a pheromone-based trap and we had no more issues. He said it could take up to two weeks but it wasn't even a week. What started looking like sugar ants got bigger looking like red ants. The tech said they were carpenter ants. Our experience with Terminix has been really good. We don't have any pests anymore. Scheduling our services has been really easy, too. All of the servicemen have been really professional and very nice. Everybody's been amazing and everything's gotten done.

When I had a plumber come back to do work in the yard, they discovered the yellow jackets. I called Terminix, and they were there within 24 hours. The plumber came back to repair the damage, and in the process, found another yellow jacket's nest in the ground. I called Terminix and they had somebody there within two hours. They are very responsive and I am impressed.

The Mosquitoes control service was completed today by our Terminix Tech. ** he is at Branch 2360. He did an excellent job of applying the repellant chemical (about 3 gallons!) in order to Zap! Those Mosquitoes. We have a garden in our backyard and so is very relaxing to tend to our Cantaloupes, Tomatoes and Green Beans, which was impossible to do before we signed on for Mosquito Control. Now it’s great to not have Mosquitoes after us and we’d like to Thank ** for a job well done!

Do not use Terminix. We called three times for an appointment. Three times they scheduled a tech to come out. The tech never showed up. Each time we called in we were told they were switching systems and the appointment was lost between the systems. They then guaranteed that the tech would text BEFORE HE SHOWED UP. The tech never showed up. The last time we called in they lost our account. DO NOT USE, WE WENT WITH ORKIN. Absolutely horrible.

Paid for two locations and they never showed up! Harrisburg PA franchise of Terminix. Tech called me the day before but I told him he had the wrong day. The day they were suppose to be there they NEVER EVEN came! I called 4 times trying to get a ETA or ANY information about when they would be there...It was scheduled for 10-12. Nothing...4 phones calls and I waited from 10 am to 5 PM Nothing....representatives at the main number could not reach anyone!!! How the heck can you run a business like that? Now I have to try and get my money back!

BEWARE!!! Terminix is a horrible company with terrible customer service. They did a job for my church and left tape that is not easily accessible because of the height they ruined the paint in some areas. We have been trying to get it resolved for months and have been ignored. We have sent emails and text messages and have called with no answer. Brian **, a tech that works for Terminix in the Broward area, is a liar and is very unprofessional. He was called, and he stated that he would call back in 20 min. He never called, so I called him back he forwarded me to voice mail. I called customer service, and supposedly they sent the complaint to the manager of the local branch who was supposed to call me. Twelve hours later, I am still waiting on a call. Don't waste your time or money on this company.

Terminix does a great job. I’ve been using them for years and then, I got out because I moved. But it’s been a total of about seven years. I love the service. The techs are very professional, friendly and thorough. They come out quarterly and I just greet them when they come to the door and they do their thing. I feel very comfortable and I have no problem with them walking in the rooms spraying.

When Terminix freshly sprayed the area, the pests started coming out more because they were trying to find a clean place to hide. So that happened for the first week and then it's been fine since. Terminix has good service and their people are friendly and nice.

Had terminix for approximately 10 years in SC with no issues. Moved to MI and wanted treatment. Called and got a quote which seemed really high. Few days later they contacted me with a discount and scheduled the treatment on a day and 2 hour time window. Got a message in the middle of the week a text would come the day before with the time. It never did, no further contact, waited my 2 hour window plus 30 minutes and called to find out why I was no called and no showed. About an hour later got a text saying a technician would be heading my way shortly. I already left for the day since they couldn’t follow their own policy and procedures. Called the regional manager back and left a message asking why this happened and still no response back. Will be going with a competitor from here on out.

I bought a new house in May. 2 weeks later I went online to the Terminix website and purchased a bug spray & mosquito treatment for the house with the total being around $400. The salesman, Michael Jasso, came to the house and did the free inspection and found termites. We discussed options because we are currently stuck paying two mortgages and I couldn't afford the addon for the mosquitoes and termites. Since the one is worse than the other, we dropped the mosquitoes. Mike told me that if I opted to do a one time termite treatment it would cost me over $800, but that I could add it to the Bug plus and my monthly payment would be $75/m. I agreed to that and signed the contract believing that I had a one time fee of $601 & a monthly payment of $75.
A week later I woke up and checked my bank account to see that $742 had been taken out of my account. When I called to find out what the additional $141 the lady in billing, Judy Thornton, told me it was my monthly contract price and then emailed me the contract. She told me, "I believe you and I'm sorry that happened to you, but Terminix isn't going to do anything about it because you signed the contract and if you try to cancel now you will owe us $1,400. It's your word against his." So they are fully aware of how their salesmen are operating!
Today I woke up to find they are trying to charge my card $277! I've been waiting on hold to speak to someone for 30 minutes already. They are a completely shady business, they break their own contracts but hold you accountable to it when you trusted the salesman to tell you what you were signing because he didn't give you a chance to read anything he rushed through. Do NOT sign a contract with these people! They do what they want how they want and only you get threatened with a lawsuit when you want to cancel, but they charge you whatever, whenever and it doesn't matter even if it isn't in the contract.

We called this company to come out and do services for us. First of all they never told us that we had to be out the house at 8am in the morning with a pet for 4 hours. We had no where to go with a 60lb dog at that time at such short notice. Second of all the tech did a sloppy job of not cleaning up empty containers and plastic wraps of such. Called a week before our two week check up to make a follow up appointment and was told follow up appointment was already made for Aug 7 8-10am. Well here it is the date of follow up and tech comes to the door, knocks on the door waits a minute and leaves, we get to the door and he is gone. How do we know this?- WE HAVE A RING CAMERA THAT RECORDED THE TECH!! We call him back, he says he was there for 15mins smoked a cigarette and left when we didn't answer the door.
Now the kicker is-we told him we have a ring camera and saw him ring the bell wait about 30-45 seconds and walk to his truck and drive away and he disconnected the call. We called back to the company and first was told there was no appointment for today then to be told the job was completed to I have to wait 24-48 hours to speak with a supervisor to the tech cant be reached whom was there this morning. Tye or TIE was incompetent didn't know her job and shouldn't be working there-couldn't find my address under name or telephone #, said she tried contacting driver and couldn't and only repeated what I'm showing here is -she couldn't find anything other to say then what I show here is...
I call back speak with Tiffany whom did much better at contacting the tech whom came out for todays job to getting another appointment for tomorrow morning same time to feeling a little better about the situation. Tiffany magically found the order in the first 5 seconds of me giving her my address and Tye couldn't-Tiffany contacting the tech whom came this morning for his cigarette break and Tye couldn't-Tiffany getting another appointment scheduled and Tye couldn't say anything other than what I'm seeing here is,,, I'm so mad we went with Terminix vs Orkin all for $35 cheaper service-this is what cheap service gets you. I will never ever use this uncaring about its customer's company again-let's see if someone calls back and fixes this terrible situation-oh and yes we are paid in FULL!!!!

I love Terminix. My service people have always been great, very communicative, and professional. They're on time and they always leave detailed reports. They're always letting me know about services they offer and if some things might be out of budget, they would say they could work with you over a payment plan.

Terminix does quarterly service for us, and it's usually the same person. We've only had one change in all the time that we've had them. The service started off because we had wasps and they really attacked my husband. It was scary because he got bit 20 times. Terminix got rid of those quickly and we haven't had a problem since. When it rains really hard, we'll see ants around the outside of the house, but normally, they take care of them. They come and spray, and the ants go away. Terminix has been excellent. Any time there's a concern, it's dealt with fast. We had one issue where it looked like we were being double charged, but they handled it quickly and it wasn't a problem.

My experience with Terminix has been Terrible. The corporate office handles all appts and has not responded once to any calls or texts to the Service Tech. We had a bed bug issue; the inspection was ok. They sent someone out in 2 days to treat. We were told the entire house (basement included). The service Tech texted me when complete, once I texted back and called..... No response. We have been calling for 9 days and service reps keeping telling us they contacted the corporate office. Wwait 24-48 hours. Once the timeframe ends it's like the tracking of our calls fall off their records. I want a refund at this point. Anddd no follow up. Two week appt set up. I feel like they just took our money.

Terminix- Durant office gore southern oklahoma is a complete joke. They came out. Did the inspection, and then everything went downhill from there. Never scheduled in the timely manner. Had to call and beg to get appointments made. They did the job half way every time they came. After a year and 7000 dollars later still have the same issue. And they refused to make it right. I have had to fight this issue alone and when they were coming. Asked for the cooperate phone number numerous times and was denied. Ask for higher ups than the district managers and was denied every time. I do not recommend terminix to anybody unless you want to throw money down the drain and get nowhere.

Terminix is a good service. I've hired them to do terminating services where I work. They do that well. So, I went and had them come do my home. The tech came out when he said he would. He put me on a schedule. So, he would show up when he was supposed to. He has only been servicing the outside. We had ticks prior to him starting. It has only been two months. But he told me after two months that the ticks should be gone, and I haven't seen any.

We had someone come to spray for fleas where the dogs commonly would be sleeping and for bugs inside the house. The person we use is a long-time friend. So, we just called him and scheduled through him. He was wonderful, very professional and friendly. He got the job done. He told us exactly what we needed to do before and after the treatment to make sure our animals weren't exposed to the chemicals. He also advised getting some medicine for them from our vet, bathing them and things to help vacuum the house and washing their bedding. I highly recommend Terminix. In the past, I have used different exterminating companies and wasn't completely pleased. So I thought I'd give Terminix a shot. Then, a person we knew started working for them. So that sealed the deal. Terminix does a better job and the price is more reasonable and I've been extremely pleased.

Scheduling with Terminix is easy because they also remind me of the annual checkup. But the website is bad because things that should be able to be done are not working. It is hard to navigate. I thought I paid for termite inspection. Instead I paid for pest control and I never got a receipt for it. So, I had to investigate, but a nice person sent me an email. But that should all be working on the website by itself. Other than that, I like our recent termite inspector. I can trust him checking my house. I also like our recent pest control lady. They're friendly and I can feel they're trustworthy and know what they're doing.

Terminix would come as scheduled and and whenever I have issues, they come and provide whatever I need. I have a technician who comes out to spray and when he does, he says hello, catches my dog, and goes on his business. He's very friendly and nice. Recently, Terminix solved my problem with squirrels in my attic. The people who came and did my services were very professional and kind. After they blocked off the area and got rid of the squirrels, I haven't heard anything since.

Am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from Terminix on July 27. I had scheduled an appointment for that day, with a window between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. I made arrangements to be at home during this time to ensure that I did not miss the appointment. Unfortunately, nobody from Terminix showed up within the specified time frame. At 11:00 AM, I called the company to inquire about the status of my appointment. The representative I spoke with was unable to provide any information about when, or if, someone would be able to come to my home that day.
At 11:15 AM, I received a call from Joe **. During our conversation, he exhibited a poor attitude and was extremely unprofessional. When I asked him why he did not show up during the scheduled time, he hung up on me then called back with further attitude and questioned whether I still wanted him to come and inspect my house. His tone and demeanor were entirely inappropriate, and he was unapologetic for the inconvenience caused. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown by your staff. The experience has left me with a very negative impression of Terminix, and I do not intend to use your services in the future. I also feel compelled to share this experience with others, as it reflects poorly on this company's commitment to customer service.

Terminix is here for us. The scheduling is fairly quick and on time. The house was tented in 2016 and I've been paying for an annual fee in case they should return. But we haven't had an incident since. We still have pests and termites but we don't have a full home protection. We just have protection plan from termites.

I paid for services for a year then was upsold to include termite protection. I never received a copy of that contract and it took 3 calls to Terminix to finally get a copy that does not have my signature. I might have signed on a tablet when tech was here. They used my credit card that day. Now I am moving into smaller property for health reasons and they said it's $1,000+ to cancel the contract. I had no idea I was stuck in this service after already paying for a year. I suspect techs get bonuses for these contracts, which is fine, but tricking people into signing on to this auto-billing is bad. I was something about arbitration but this is over my head so I'll give it to an attorney to handle. I can spray my own bugs.

I pay Terminix for four visits a year and the techs come out in between if I have other issues. They always work me in one way or another but sometimes, I'll wait up to a week. Usually, the same person comes out and I rarely see anybody else unless they're doing an inspection. Since this particular person has started, the work performed has been very well. We also fertilize our yard with one that takes care of fire ants but he hasn’t seen as many everywhere this year. A lot of times, I feel like they migrated from other people's houses.

There were termites in the kitchen cabinet. Terminix did an assessment on the whole condo and found other places where there were evidence of termites. They treated all of those different spots. Everything that was quoted and how they said it was performed was how it was. They got the job done. They were equipped and knowledgeable about the situation and executed accordingly. I spoke with the technician on the phone at some point and he explained everything well. He took his time doing things.

Terminix comes out quarterly. Nick is our technician and he's excellent. He always lets us know when he's coming and gets any information from us if we're seeing pests in the home. He's also very thorough with the outside. We were observing ants and there were a few places around the outside of the home where Nick told us that they were probably coming in. Recently, I saw too many bugs for what I paid for. I went on to the website, was told to schedule an appointment and I did. Terrible customer service. Please think again if you want pest control. They signed me up without permission on a "contract" that I did not want. Then they decided to leave me waiting at home all Saturday after taking off work. Didn't show up.. Still charged me and continued to charge me for months without showing up. Called multiple times to try to speak with manager and they denied. And said they would have them call me back which they never did. Then they tried saying I owed a termination fee for a contract I never signed up for and for a service they repeatedly didn't show up for. Garbage company. Do better Terminix.

I have an annual contract for termite treatment with Terminix. The young man who came out was very professional. He called to let us know he was coming. And then when he got here, he knocked on the door. So, my husband went out. He walked him around and showed him exactly what he was doing, which bait needed to be refilled, and it was a very pleasant experience.
I've also got a contract with Terminix at my mother's house, and there's another gentleman who comes out. She had a mice problem. As soon as we get rid of the mice, they come right back. And then in the springtime, we started seeing ants. The young man who came out to do that was really good, too. He called the day before to let us know when he was coming out. I asked him if anyone needed to be home and he said no for this particular treatment because it was outside where they do whatever they do. He was professional.
I've been with Terminix for about nine years and when I first started with them, it was a little pricey but now that I've been with them so long, it's much more affordable. I break it into payments in order to have it paid for so they can come out and do the treatment. They're willing to work with you and make the price affordable so that you can afford the various treatments. So far, all the guys that have been coming out lately have been number 10s. I have no complaints. Terminix does an excellent job. The technicians that come out are very nice, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. I'd tell others to give the company a chance. They will be surprised that the treatment that they use works. We don't see any termites. The mice were gone. The ants never showed up.

Terminix usually calls me and tells me when a service is due, and they give me a date when it's gonna be done. I had them do a tenting first, and then I continued on with them. There was name recognition in Terminix, so I decided to pick them. And given that they're a more national company, I figured they were very reputable. So, I picked them to do the tenting. And then I continued them on to do the regular treatments. They recently came and sprayed my house as they usually do. I was not here at the time, but they did the treatment anyway. Lance was the technician who comes out. He's very good. If I'm here, he usually talks to me afterwards. And then I usually get a follow-up email from him telling me both what he did and if there were any findings at all. Overall, Terminix is thorough and reliable. It’s very easy for them to just do the service even when you're not home, be scheduled, and you'll get a report whether you're home or not.

It was a very cordial experience. The Terminix technician gave me update on what needs to be done before and after the service. I was pleased and would strongly recommend them. I have three different services with them. I pointed out the areas where I was seeing the mosquitoes the most. They tried to concentrate on those areas. I also have a termite service and mentioned where I was seeing termites outside my home so they can install the instrument underneath the ground.

Terminix is a franchise and I'd rather deal with a franchise than a mom-and-pop when it comes to situations concerning my house. They recently came back out because the problem was persistent and they handled it for me very well. The tech was very explanatory about the process and what needed to be done. He made me feel comfortable with leaving him in my house for the time frame that was necessary. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the service. Even when I still thought there was a problem, I liked how he rectified the issue. It was a worthwhile service. Currently, I don't see any pest at all in the areas. I was under the impression that I would still have residual pests but I've been sleeping comfortably for the last few weeks.

With the recent experience I had with Terminix, it was at a church, and I had a tough time getting the tax-exempt. That was the worst experience I had. My name was on the bill. I had a tough time getting my name off it. I was just a go-between, and it took me a while to get it off. Prior to that, the technician that came out to the house took pictures of everything he needed, and when we paid it off, they kept sending this bill to me. Also, when I told them I had to go down and do the church, I told them to call me when they get there. Nobody ever called me. I left a message with everyone I could contact. I said, “Look. Make sure you give me a call when you arrive.” So when I got there, the guy was getting ready to leave. I said, “You haven't completed the job.” He said, “Yes, I did.” I said, “I told the people to call me so they can get inside, get around the gate.” If I hadn’t got there before he left, he wouldn't have done it.
We only had one area that had infestation. That was the lower level dining hall, and I told the technician about that. I haven't seen anything since they've been there. It's just that when I gave them information, they didn't follow through. I set a schedule. I said, “You come out to the church, but they have a gate in the back of it. It’s locked. If you come to the church, make sure you call me before you get there because you don't have access to all the property. I can't leave it open.” I'm the contact person.
They did the termite inspection after they put those things in the ground. The first guy came out, and he broke down somewhere. He never did call. I just happened to have his phone number. I called him about four times. So, when I finally got him, I said, “Sir, you should call somebody, let him know you're not coming." So I had a pretty bad experience with them. It was miscommunication. Otherwise, I didn’t have a problem. At first, I called four companies, and Terminix was a little bit more reasonable. I liked their price.

Terminix calls me when the next application is due and we had to reschedule it. They send me a text message that they were on their way or they would be here the next day and it works out well. I've been pleased with it. I had a problem with carpenter ants and carpenter bees and the results were very quick. The other things they did with the spider webs were also excellent. They come out to get the job done, leave a note and it's good.

Do NOT use the Terminix in south central PA, the New Cumberland office!!! Prior to closing on a house Terminex did an inspection and said no termites. One week later, after closing on the purchase we found termite damage. We had another Terminix technician from the same office come and do an inspection just one week later and you guessed it, we have termites! Upon calling with hopes of some customer service and a refund we did not get as much as a phone call to update us on the issue. We had to continually call the call center to get any kind of answer. The company did not help us nor did the branch office. Two technicians from the same office - one week apart and different report!!.. With no assistance and costing us a lot of money.

Stay away from this company! First, when you make an appointment they don't go, you have to call them many times and they have excuses to postpone. Second, and most important, they send you a proposal but when you have to sign the agreement, they change the price! I was told $1350 for a job and they sent me an agreement for $2633 plus monthly fees! Of course, I cancelled everything! After years of having an exterminator come out to my home every April to spray the interior and exterior of my gym and exterior of my home this year due to my mother's persistence I hired Terminix. What a mistake that was. I specifically told the technician to spray the interior and exterior of my gym, A separate structure in my backyard. Well, you can only imagine my shock when I entered the gym and found 500-700 bugs! I called Jeff, Terminix’s technician, who informed me that he wouldn’t be back in the area for 2 weeks. When I explained my problem- 500-700 bugs, Jeff said, it’s summer time, bugs will be bugs. When I mentioned not having this problem in the past- Jeff suggested I go back to the exterminator I used in the past- which I ended up doing. Jeff must have realized- after looking at his work sheet- he only serviced the exterior of both my home and gym. Jeff called back- I didn’t answer.
I tried 7 times to contact a supervisor to come out and look at the inside of my gym- nobody ever returned my call. You will never be able to contact anybody of authority. You speak with the call center who takes a message and passes it on! It’s the worst customer service! Horrible customer service. I called my old exterminator who came out- and found hundreds and hundreds of bugs. He sprayed the interior and exterior- the cost $295.00. My gym has been bug free! Now- Terminix keeps sending me a bill for 79.26- with threats of sending my outstanding bill to the credit bureau- ruining my credit. I will take a copy of both the Terminix bill- note the date along with the company who came out to rectify my problem. I’m going to hide my address. Terminix of Chattanooga is the worst. No calls. No shows. Wrong techs. No consistent follow-up. We have been trying for 3 weeks to get a repair tech. Got anything and everyone except that. And meanwhile, the rodents are doing serious damage. They have known for 3 months the encapsulated space had been breached.

In 2019, I had a problem with termites and even after the major treatment of my floor, they still ate it. Terminix picked up the tab for my floor. Then, I had squirrels living in a part of my roof and they came out and sealed it. They had to book a lift and everything to get the job done. But then we had a major windstorm and right below where they were working, I got some leakage and there's a big stain on the ceiling in my upstairs bathroom. They came and looked at it but nothing's come of it so far. But it was likely due to the winds after the job was done.

When our Terminix guy came by last month, he walked around and did a good job. He's been here before, so he knew exactly what to do. But since he'd been out, the spiders are all happy again and all the bugs are out. Also, we scheduled an under-the-house inspection but that kept falling through. And now that we're moving, I don't know if we're going to even bother with it because our time may be up. Other than that, we've had Terminix for years and we were satisfied. We'll probably sign up with them for the new place.

Ants inside my kitchen usually show up every early summer, late spring. I call Terminix and let them know. They show up and spray, and the ants are gone. Terminix's service is not what it used to be. We've been a Terminix customer for 20 years but I'm looking at alternatives. The first guy I had was an ex-military. He came in, checked the bait traps, and provided the treatment. He was 100%. I also had a termite guy who came out last year who was beyond professional. Terminix was scheduled to do a treatment a month ago, and unbeknownst to me, my wife had scheduled a whole house carpet cleaning on the same day. I advised the guy that he wouldn't be able to do the inside because the entire lower level was still wet, and to please reschedule the internal treatment. I had to then send him a text and ask when he could get the inside treatment. He told me a date which I told him won't work. I gave him 3 dates, June 17th, 18th, 19th, to pick from and let me know but I never heard anything.
I called the number to get it scheduled. He was supposed to be here Monday, 3:00 to 5:00. Then he called and said they had him overbooked for the 3:00 to 5:00 slot. He asked if he could come early and I told him nobody was home because we were told 3:00 to 5:00. It seems more work for me than not. I don't know what Kevin's scheduling issues are. All of a sudden, I'd get a text that would tell me he'd be by a couple of days. I don't know if he's self-scheduling, but it doesn't work the way it used to. I used to get an email that said, "We'd be there next week on this date."
We had an issue where he said he had come by and made an outdoor treatment, but I looked at my cameras and couldn't find any treatment. We get a good price from Terminix, but it's a headache when you have to reschedule and chase them. I'm 73 years old and I got a heart condition. I don't have time to do all that. When you say you're coming, I want you to come, be done, and get it done.

I am disappointed with our experience with Terminix and would not recommend them. We had Terminix come out to replace our insulation and disinfect from mice in our attic. They came out and replaced everything. After they left, we realized our light right by the attic wasn’t working anymore. We called multiple times (at least 15 times) to have someone come out to fix the light and told someone will call back within 48 hours. It has been OVER a month, and we are still without a light because they haven’t followed up. They won’t respond to any contact. We were told to follow up with an email from another review, and we didn’t receive any contact back. The lack of communication and follow through is unacceptable.

The mosquito spraying has not been effective, and our family is unable to be outside without being covered in bites. We are unable to get promised re-treatment or timely response to calls for treatment. We call and schedule as instructed and then no one comes; we are given a variety of excuses, and are charged monthly, but we get no service.

After over 20 years of using Terminix, we made a change due to absolutely no return phone calls or return email over a week-long process regarding a problem we were encountering. Calls were made daily with promises of a return call every time. Nothing. When I called and cancelled services the agent wanted to put me in touch with the branch manager who had ignored phone calls and an email. You would think they would want to keep a 20+ year paying as agreed account. The problem was big enough to cancel the service.

Had inspector come out said we needed our crawl space done. Took supposed pics of our crawl space. Needless to say we compared and pics were not of our crawl space. Floor showed dirt ours has rubber matting on entire floor. We make appointments and tech shows up or reschedules to when he feels like it. Never calls or notified us of reschedule just shows up. We paid Terminix for years to handle a pest problem and ended up with more pests than we started with. We would ask to speak to a manager and a manager would never call, asked to speak to corporate. Was told they didn’t have a corporate office. The tech would be scheduled and not show up, happened several times, when he would show up he didn’t do much of anything. The only thing they did correctly was take money out of my bank account.

They sold me services with a different description than what I got. Did not finish the work. Scheduled appointments without asking me. Has yet to communicate with me about my claim and dissatisfaction and it’s been 2 months. No one from the Columbus Ohio local branch will call me and anyone in the call center says they can’t do anything and it’s all up to the local branch. I’m being told that my issue has been pushed to the regional manager but yet again I have not heard anything. I will never use them again and will express the same to anyone I know who asks about their services.

I've had the worst experience with Terminix. I called them because I was getting bit by something. I don't know what it is. They came. They say, "We can't find anything." They don't do anything and then they come back and they say they sprayed but I'm still getting bit. I asked the manager to call me three times. He never called me. I asked for a refund. They never issued it like this is the worst experience I've ever had. I've done with Orkin once before unfortunately orkin is not in my area now but it's really frustrating because you can get no customer service. The only people you can talk to are some telephone people that can't do anything. They send messages to the people who are supposed to be able to do something and they do nothing. They won't call you back. They won't respond. They won't take care of the problem and I'm frustrated and I will never use terminix for anything ever again.

Terminix has done a great job. We haven't seen any bugs since they've been here. They call us and say when they're gonna come out, and it's perfect. We usually ask for a certain time, and they always accommodate. A couple of weeks ago, the technician came in the morning earlier than we expected, which was great, 'cause he's always doing a great job. He did exactly what we wanted him to do, then we asked a couple of questions and he answered them. He also did the outside of the house and was very polite and clean. The technician was fantastic.

My recent experience with Terminix was good. The tech's been over so much. He knows what to do and he knows all about it. It's always a joy. Everything is taken care of. However, when you try to pay Terminix, you’re on the phone for so long. I got to the point when I wanna pay for my service, I just didn't pay for it. I just let them call me, because it's that long. It's not worth it. The price is also too high. I'm paying $186 per quarter and that's almost more like my cable bill for three months. I'd probably cancel.

I've had Terminix for a long time and the experience has been very good. The tech is very thorough and I like him. I've been pleased. If I wasn't happy, I would’ve told Terminix goodbye.

Terminix was great. The tech came out to my cabin and sprayed under the house and all around the perimeter. He went above and beyond. He did what he said and explained that I had 30 days. It was all a pleasant experience. Scheduling the service was a good experience too. The cabin is 100 miles from my home and I wanted to be out there and I had to be because they had to get into the crawl space. They were very accommodating.

Terminix of Norcross GA did not perform tasks they were hired to do. They did not install French drain, remove debris, disinfect or install working sump pump. Refusing to give refund. Not even responding to correspondence. Do not hire Terminix!

We've been using Terminix for eight years in a vacation house in a remote area. They call and let me know they're coming. They include pictures with their service report so I can see that they're doing stuff. When they did the annual service, they found a hole where the rats had chewed through. The guy put wood to block the hole which was great. However, the service is getting expensive now. It's gone up by 25%. It's almost 200 bucks for a quarterly service which is a lot of money for one year. But we have bugs, and we’re gonna protect our property so it’s a tough thing to decide.

I've been a long time Terminix customer and their service was great for many years. But these last few years have been disgusting. I say that because I have rat/mouse feces in my house constantly. I call them and get promises of managers, sales managers, branch managers and inspectors coming to help, and they never show up. I had a CS rep tell me that I wouldn't need any confirmations for today as they were 1000% going to be there to put down traps and do an inspection this morning between 7-9:00am. My regular guy came and sprayed at 7:00am and nobody else showed. I called back around 10:00a and they have no record of anything else scheduled. She again tells me that she left two messages for two different managers and they would call me back. I'll be surprised if they do. Don't buy into any of their other programs. Exclusion is a scam that they do a crap job with and then won't support.

I am continuing to get emails, I have canceled service due to. It took four months to correct a billing issue. Then once corrected was harassed to make payment for late status. Offered a service for an inspection. Spent four hours waiting. No one showed up. Let them know. Got no response or offer to reschedule. Very disappointed in the service I received. I was a former client that is why I went back to them only to be treated rudely by customer service. I only gave them one star 'cause had to. Couldn’t give half star.

I cannot believe that I’ve been paying for this service for a year at almost $200 a month and no one shows up to provide the service. I have to request for someone to come inside, outside of the house, inside of the house, attic, basement, garage, crawlspace, whatever should be automatic at that amount of money per month to boot when a technician shows up. This is the worst experience ever. I don’t have time to monitor your service however, when I do, I realize that I’m paying for service I’m not even receiving. Good luck to anyone who chooses to use this company.

I paid 1800.00 for the exclusion service, and they came right away and laid down many traps, they were supposed to come back 2 weeks later to remove mice and put down new traps, this was in March. It's now June and I have not been able to get anyone back to the house. Every time I call they tell me someone will call me back to schedule the appointment, but nobody ever does. I get a tech texting me to confirm an appointment I never made at a time I'm at work and not home, when I call back, no one answers. So I leave a message to tell them this and to tell them not to show up because nobody will be home to let them in and to call me back to schedule the appointment, they don't call back, come anyway and say the service was completed. If this happens once it can be a mistake, but it has happened 3-4 times. This service is a scam and not worth the money.

I made an appointment with Terminix between 5 and 7 PM on a Friday, and they did not show up or even bothered to contact me that they would not arrive. I received a notice that the office was closed when I sent a text asking if they were running late. I wound up waiting hours for them to arrive and my time was completely wasted.

I've been very disappointed in Terminix. I have their service because when I bought my home 3 years ago that's what the previous owner used. Starting off, I had great service. However, over the course of the past year and a half it has gone down hill. They do not show up at the scheduled times, I'm charged for services and I'm not sure they actually come, you can only call the call center and not your actual office, and these are just a few issues. The local office blames the call center, the call center blames the local office, and the issue is never resolved.
I've tried for the past 3 months to give the a chance to correct this issue through the proper channels with the escalation team and local office. They still can't seem to figure out the issue. It is extremely frustrating to spend money on multiple services (pest, mosquito, termite, and crawl space encapsulation) and not actually be getting the hundreds of dollars worth of service from a large well known company.

I've been very pleased with Terminix. We have quarterly service for pest control. They arrive on time, tell you who they are, do their job. We've been customers for over 30 years and had the same technician for 25 years. He became almost like family. My kids knew him growing up. They're very personable and I like the idea of having the same technician.

We have had the same gentleman every time and he is so polite and so professional. I would recommend him to anyone. He is an awesome employee. We were startled that my mother got bed bugs in her house and her chair, and he was very attentive to that and even had suggestions. He was also so polite to her. My mother has no pests since Terminix came out. We are thrilled.

These are folks that I will refer to as thieves. Not only did they not come back to trap a mouse that I paid the $170 for - literally the technician showed up for 3 min, I was there - but the complete indifference to a shoddy job of placing a few cubes of baits and small glue pads is just shocking. Tiny little baits for a gig mouse? Kidding me? And they refused to come back and finish trapping just one mouse. Folks, save your money, buy yourself a couple of glue traps at Home Depot and do it yourself. My guess is that they are probably laughing talking almost $200 for showing up for just 3 min, doing nothing and not a care in the world for their incompetence.

We have been Terminix clients for a long time. In August of 2023 they suggested we have bait stations put in our yard and we agreed. On September 14, 2023 our nice local rep named Alex came to the house to install the bait stations. During the install of the stations Alex drilled into our sprinkler line. He simply continued on installing other stations around the house, and left without bringing it to our attention. As I returned from my walk, I noticed his truck was gone, and immediately noticed the water shooting up 20 feet from where his truck was. I called Terminix and sent a message to Alex letting him know we needed to address the water and inquiring if he had gone to get someone to help or sent someone out to my house. After several calls and lots of lost water, Terminix returned to shut my sprinkler system off several days later. They apologized and said they would get started on a repair ticket and we would hear from their repair company soon.
I wish any part of that statement had been true. We have a very lengthy call log with their 800# to the point that I know their routine that they put me on hold, supposedly reach out to 2 local managers and expedite the request and I will supposedly hear from someone within 48 hours. It is June 4th, 2024 as I write this and although Carlos has left 2 messages out of the 20 calls to have him call me back. They did finally have a repair company contact me, after I called the 800# telling them I was tired of waiting and had to get it repaired because my grass was dying. This was May 10th, 2024. The first time I heard from their repair company. This is one of the worst client experiences possible.

I had a tech come by for a mosquito control. I was out of town so he did what he could. He didn't think he would be able to get the backyard because I have a gate that's stubborn. So, he let me know that he couldn't get in the back. I told him that the gate just gets stuck. I made a point of unlatching it so that he and my lawn guys could get in and out. He came back and finished the job. He has been doing my stuff for a year. And he's very professional and accessible. Terminix costs more than some other services, but it's worth it. They're reliable. I've been very happy.

Terminix was amazing. Everyone from the front office was great, and the technician that came out was informative, funny and quick. The service was great. The tech listened to what I had to say and what I was looking for. We had a wasp nest that had adhered to the side of one of the apartment bathroom windows, and he removed that for us. He put something on this broom and beat it down, and took the honeycomb part. We haven't had any recurrence.

My Terminix experience has been horrible. I paid $600 for service only for piss poor service. It has been 3 times someone was due to come to my home for service and nobody showed up. When you call customer service all they can do is write a note and offer you another day for someone to not show up. I asked to speak to a manager and get the runaround. I asked for the corporate number and was told they don’t have one. This service is terrible.

I get two different services from Terminix. One is just strictly pest control. The other one is called the Terminix Exclusion Services for the tune of almost $3,000 plus getting new insulation for about $9,000. So it’s close to $12,000. I have purchased for '23, '24 and '25 already. Once they do the exclusion, it means they are supposedly blocking all the holes in my location. Mice aren't supposed to come in anymore and this worked for about a year and a half without any mice in the house. But since then, it's been an ongoing problem. I had exclusion out at least five times to get pest control, which means I have that every three months and they come and spray. It is always easy to get exclusion out and it’s more difficult to get an individual out. I usually have to wait at least a couple of weeks and sometimes, they don't call me back though they say they will. But overall, my experience with Terminix has been very good.

I've been with Terminix for many years and I have had the same technician since I've lived at this house. He does a great job and takes good care of me. My experience has been good and the only issue I have is Terminix's prices keep going up. But they're good about if I call and tell them that I can't afford an increase. They don't always increase it. So, I appreciate that. I have mosquito service from April to October, and that takes about 15 minutes. It doesn't take long for the technician to do that. Then, I have pest control every quarter and that takes probably 25 minutes. The mosquito service has been worth it because I live at a lake and there are a lot of bugs out here. So, I like it. The pest control has probably helped the situation but I've got a big property here and they can only treat so far from the house. They could treat more if I paid for it but I'm not going to be able to do that.

Our neighbors at my new house in Kalihi has mice and I didn't want any mice, roaches, or centipedes in my new home. My brother has been using Terminix for years and they've done a good job so I chose them. They always call and let us know when they're gonna go do the service and they always let us know when they're done. Also, they send a report of what they did and what they found.

The Inspector did a inspection and said I had a problem with that he convinced me to purchase the service. Since then 2 technicians have been out saying that I don't have a problem and pretty much told me the inspection was totally wrong. Beware of this company. Stay far far away. No Supervisor has helped me with problem.

Expensive and low quality! They are unreliable, unprofessional, and often fail to show up on time—or at all. We had to cancel their service, and honestly, they are the real pests! Despite numerous cancellation requests, they continue to claim services were rendered and send us bills. How is this even legal? Save your hard-earned money and stay away from these people. Shameful!

I did NOT have a good experience with Terminix and wanted to provide a heads up so others know about their deceptive business practices and failure to provide contracted services. On March 5, 2024, I was coerced into signing a long-term contract for rodent extermination, exclusion, and deodorizing in my home, based on their exaggerated claims of a severe infestation. After signing, it was revealed that the issue involved only one rat, which was quickly dealt with.
Since then, Terminix has failed to conduct the promised comprehensive inspection, exclusion work, and deodorizing, contrary to our agreement. My efforts to resolve this issue with Terminix directly have been extremely frustrating. I've emailed them numerous times, asked the reps who came by to check the traps, yet besides catching one rodent, they have not done what they said they would.
Note: The people I have had contact with are always quite friendly, but no matter how many times I ask, and ask and ask - they have not done the work the (very friendly) sales rep said they would do (as spelled out in the contract). I'm leaving a review here since Terminix sends prospective clients here - thought you might want to hear from a recent customer about my experience. So far they have ignored my request for a refund, so I'm now contacting the BBB, the district attorney's office, and my credit card company to see if they might be willing to resolve this by refunding me for the work I was charged for but never received.

Please beware of Terminix in our area 08550. I had pest service done at my house and paid $1200 for the removal and exclusion of mice for a whole year. Firstly, the inspector came and offered annual, three-year, and five-year service payment options, but no monthly payment option. On Monday, they set traps and blocked all the holes. He said if a mouse gets trapped, I should call them, and they would come ASAP. Next, a small baby mouse got trapped. I called them to remove the mouse, but no one responded to my text messages. After making 10 calls, they gave me an appointment four days later, during which time I had to let the mouse rot in my basement. I waited the next day, hoping someone would show up, but no one came. So, I decided to cancel the exclusion service, and now they are not willing to refund my money.

ZERO starts if I could. I am a long-time customer. This company started out well enough. I used the monthly pest control and mosquito service for several years. I came to trust the technician who normally came to my home while the family was at work. I happened to be home for the last scheduled mosquito service. I thought it was weird that the technician hadn't arrived during his window, nor had he text with an arrival time. Later that afternoon I received a text that the service had been completed and my card on file billed. I was surprised I missed him as I was home and waiting for him. I text the tech, no response. I checked my 9 cameras around the property only to learn he hadn't arrived. I reached out online to the Terminix who promised me a response within 48 hours. After waiting 4 days with no response, I reached out again to be told they could do nothing and that I should expect a response within 48 hours.
They were very apologetic but unable to help in any way. Oh wait, they did offer me a $40 credit towards future service (which doesn't cover the cost I paid for no service received). I declined and asked for a refund. Beware if you are not able to monitor the service, you may not be getting what you pay for. Also, if you do not receive the service, getting help from the online help team is a joke. I do not recommend you waste your money.

I signed a $ 1150 contract with Terminix in good faith based on information detailed by a Terminix 1st inspector on a harsh winter day on Jan. 29, 2024. I was lead to believe that my almost 5 year old roof has 2 exterior holes/entry points evidenced by raised/moved/tampered shingles by young rodents/squirrels to gain entry into to my roof/soffit/attic space, Terminix detailed report including pic. & drawings assert the findings/two roof holes/entry points.
The 1st inspector walked me around the exterior of my house and showed me via his tablet's zoomed-in pictures where exactly the location of the 2 raised corner shingles and entry points are located at the front and backyard at two opposing corners of my roof, and explained to me how these rodents/young squirrels are accessing my roof/soffit/attic by raising these two corner shingles that are as explained by that 1st inspector clearly raised and tampered with, because it's the time of year for these young rodents/squirrels to build/find a warm nest preferably inside the attic/roof/soffit. But in doing so they would inflect more damage as they grow and that it is good of me that I have called at this late January day to avoid the damage to my roof that would take place if these rodents/young squirrels are allowed to stay and nest in the roof/soffit/attic space.
He informed me that Terminix professionals can come within 2 weeks of signing the 6 month service contract to patch up these two holes via metal sheets to protect my roof and to place traps in the attic. It turned out that the 2 holes are a lie, my roof doesn't have any holes and the shingles, gutter guards, and flashing are all intact and haven't been tampered with in any form or way as exposed in detail by another Terminix inspector at a 3rd and last visit on April 19, 2024. In response to this deception/lies of the 1st inspector, that 3d inspector did a detailed visual hands-on check of my roof on April 19, 2024 (that same inspector could not do that detailed visual hands-on check on Feb. 9, 2024 due to the dangerously high winds on that slippery winter afternoon but that 3rd inspector did check the inside attic space and placed the traps on his first visit on Feb. 9, 2024).
That 3rd inspector showed me on his second visit on April 19, 2024 via pictures that he took that my roof/shingles/soffit/ are intact and have not been tampered with in any way or form, that 3rd inspector did a double check on the allegedly tampered/raised/moved corner shingles but found out that these corner shingles/entry point shingles have not been moved or tampered or disturbed by any means, that 3rd inspector informed me that the rodents/squirrels are most likely gaining entry through the roof fan instead, the 3rd inspector did contact his boss to share the result of his findings with pictures and details. That last Terminix inspector/3rd inspector called in on May 6, 2024 and offered replacing my current attic fan with a fan that has a cover to prevent rodents from getting into my roof in exchange for the contracted money amount of $1150 that I paid on Jan. 29, 2024.
I refused Terminix offer and asked Terminix 3rd inspector to let a manager call me so that we can come up with a good solution and not a cheap solution such as this cover up that is designed for the gullible and simple minded humans to accept after being deceived and lied at/taking advantage of by Terminix 1st inspector. Afterwards, a manager called back on May 8, 2024 and introduced himself as the "inspector boss" who is a manager that has the ability to refund my money, unfortunately the "inspector boss"/manager seemingly didn't know what the issue was, didn't appear to have read the report, and attempted to cover up the deception of his inspector by providing a pre-set a b c kind of choices for me to pick from which only serve Terminix cover up attempt nothing further.
I did explain what the problem is and how I was lied at and the deception that was done, the call ended with the "inspector boss"/manager agreeing that this is all wrong and informed me that they would issue a total refund for the lies/deception and get somebody to collect the equipment/traps, but after a week or so of waiting without Terminix calling in and without a refund showing up in my bank account, I again started the frustrating calls with Terminix customer service, and each time I was told that customer service is escalating this issue to a manager, the same response that I got from Terminix customer service since I started calling them late Jan. 2024.
Needless to say that nobody bothered to call back to update me on my refund problem, and finally on May 16, 2024 I got to know that no refund was issued because the refund that the "inspector boss"/manager issued on May 8, 2024 was denied by another manager because that second/other Terminix manager wrote in his denial that Terminix already did 3 site visits. I am mentally drained and frustrated at this deceptive cover up and lies that Terminix is still doing.

Terminix is very efficient and when you complain about something, they come and check things out. So I really like them. I recently called them is because I saw small cockroaches in my kitchen. It was not a lot, but I hate them. Terminix wanted to come after two days, but I had work, so I had to tell them to come at my convenient time and they adjusted their time for me. They're very flexible. When they did the service, they sprayed everything inside the house and so far, I don't see any more any bugs.
There are times that they come out and I'm not home because it's only time for outside treatment. But once they're inside the house, when I talk to them and they're very friendly. When I have issues or I need to ask them questions, they're very knowledgeable when it comes to what they do. For other people that are looking for pest companies, they should try Terminix. Because I tried other companies and they were good but sometimes it takes time for them to do stuff. But with Terminix, they are able to resolve the issues immediately.

I get a bimonthly outdoor service at my home from Terminix and I'm usually not on site when it happens. Joe is my regular guy and he's very communicative. He always calls me the day before, lets me know he's going to be there. I also get a text telling me the window of time that he's going to be there. When I am there, he usually knocks on the door and lets me know he's there. I make sure that I have my animals in, then he performs the work. He’s always really very good and thorough. Then he usually sends a text saying that he's finished. We get spiders in the fall and he's really good about brushing the eaves and getting the cobwebs away from the house. I would recommend Terminix. They're efficient and have good communication. They're reasonably priced as well.

The guys from Terminix came and checked my traps. There was nothing there. They were on time, they were quick, and they were out. I have a termite mound. They come out twice a year for that if there are no signs of any activity. If there's any sign of any activity, then they'll come back more and check it. I have the bait traps, and they added those in at no cost. They've come in and looked at stuff. If they spotted something that they thought might be a concern, they would point it out, but I've never had to have them come in and treat anything as far as for activity because I haven't had any.
The only thing is they always seem to send me my annual bill about three months in advance, so it's like, “Okay. I'm paying you now for 12 months. But my 12 months doesn't end from the last payment until May or June." It's like they want you to pay in advance, and I always call them and say, “I'm not paying until it's due at 12 months.” They go, “Okay. No problem.” Other than that, so far, so good.

Terminix has been very good. I told them to keep the bugs out of the house, and I have not had a bug in this house. I have not had a scorpion in my yard. We have a deal with him. As long as they do that, I will stay with Terminix. The technician is really good. If you ask him how he's doing, he says, “Living the dream.” He's very nice and quiet. He does his job. He's always here on time. The service is a little pricey but as long as it does the job, I'm okay with it.

I've had a very good experience with Terminix. The manager who came out was really good. His name was Rich and he was very professional. He scheduled the inspection, so that it was easy for us. He was very professional and pleasant. He respected the house, put on the boots, and I was very happy. The gentleman who did the treatment, Luis, came out for a follow-up because we had the issue with the mice again. He was also very pleasant, courteous, and neat. I'm set up for four treatments, the first and three follow-ups, and things always seem more than what you expect, but they are almost getting under control already. So I'm very pleased with that. Also, the way the service is paid out over a period of time makes it much more workable since it's not a big bill.

I brag about Terminix all the time and I've even gotten two people signed up. Terminix gets the bugs and my technician, Christopher, is amazing. Before the German roaches came out and greet you while you were cooking. Now, any time I see a bug, we text Chris, he'd be out within 10 days and he has no problem doing that at all. My only problem is, my friend only pays 89.99. bucks every three months and I'm up at 135.

Years ago, I found swarms of termites outside my house and knowing the Terminix name, I called them. Over the years, I was still having the termites. At one point, a couple of years ago, I called this one fellow. His name is Keith. He's an older gentleman. He's a veteran with Terminix. He came out and gave me a suggestion as to what the problem could be. Then Terminix came out. They drilled in and they put this liquid in by the front door and the side door where I was getting the swarms. Apparently, the termites were between my stair, my cement porch, and the foundation. The fellow came out and poured the stuff in there. Thank God, the termites haven't swarmed the past couple of years.
The fellow that checks the baits come out every year, and he has not found any activity either. So, we're hopeful that they got them. For years, I was very frustrated because we couldn't figure out where that swarm was coming from, even though we had the bait traps. But after Keith came out and he suggested this and he sent out a fellow and they put the liquid in there, we haven't had a problem since. So, I'm very pleased.

HORRIBLE! Terminix is a FRAUD company! NEVER sign any contract with them you. They will take your hard-earned money and will not do their job! We signed a contract for the exclusion and pest control with Terminix for several thousand dollars. The inspector was explaining us how they will do about 70 things on our house to exterminate and protect our house from mice, bats and all kinds of insects.
After we signed a contract, the Terminix technician came to our property for 30 min, sprayed chemicals around the house, got on a roof, supposedly installed ridge vent guards and patched cracks on a roof. Then he left and send us a paper that the exclusion work is now complete! I was trying to get them back to finish all the promised work, or cancel the contract, but customer service kept telling me that the local manager will contact me within 24 hours and no one ever contacted me. What we found next, was even worst. We asked two local pest control company for the inspection on our house and they both told us that ridge vent guards are not installed properly, they done about 30% of work, and only half of the cracks on a roof are patched. And the patches that they did already falling out.
We still have mice, bats, ants and spiders, and lost $4835.00. The customer service is very rude, they simply hang up on me when I asked to transfer me to her manager. The technician that came to our house looked like he was under the influence of some substance, I did not feel safe around him. He, literally, walked through me, not answering my greetings. IT IS A FRADULENT COMPANY! I will report them to attorney general, but will not get my money back, or time, or get the compensation for the stress I had to go through.

I have a quarterly maintenance with Terminix and they do what I need them to do. I don't have any bug problems. I had an ant problem outside the house and I don't have any problems with that now. I go to their website whenever they send me a report after my quarterly service, and I look at what they put down. It's hard to get around on it to me but I'm an old guy. I had a guy named Shane that's done my service for a long time. He was excellent. He was personable when he came out to the house.
I wish Shane was still doing it because we had a good relationship. They changed to another tech and not having Shane made a difference. I don't like the upsell thing and Shane never did that. He just did my service because he knew what I wanted. He notified me, knew when my day off was, so I didn't have to reschedule. For the last service, I asked them to do it on my day off but they scheduled it on the day I was at work so we had to reschedule. Apparently, they didn't have notes to know when to notify me when they could come out.

There's always communication before and after the service a few days prior, just to let me know that it's coming up. The technician always makes contact with me again the night before, the morning of when they're on their way, and when they finish. I've been using Terminix for about nine years and I haven't considered going with another vendor. So, I'm satisfied. I don't have a mosquito problem but I added the mosquito service. Often, I'm told about a problem I didn't even know existed on the side or the back of the house, which is another thing that Terminix does. They will tell me about things that they saw and took care of. You don't have to call them and schedule the service. Once you're enrolled in the program, they keep track of when your next service is. So that's beneficial not to have to make a call to see when someone will come out.

Terminix schedules my service and have somebody come out. They let me know when they're here, when they're on their way and when they leave. They give me a text of what they found. They're very efficient that way. The techs were very good and very friendly. Sometimes I let them come when I'm not home. If I'm home, they'll let me know what they found or what they're doing, and were very pleasant about it.

I have a regular service with Terminix which is straightforward and on time. Whenever they say they are going to come, they come, do their job and explain what they have done. I also get a written report after the job is completed.

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, a Terminix representative (Alan **, Home Inspector) came to my house, performed an inspection, and spoke to me about the services needed to remedy my termite issue. His verbal recommendations were as follows:
2. Build a trench around the perimeter of the house;
3. Treat the tunnels the termites created; and,
4. Treat the dirt underneath the house for the subterranean termites he found.
As the cost seemed reasonable based on his explanation, I booked the gig for the very next day. On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the day the service was to be performed, I called the company to inform them that I would be home, on time, but I would not be there any earlier. And, here is where my problems with Terminix began. The person who answered the phone was Alan, but he indicated that I was not scheduled. I was a bit put off, but I got over it, and asked if the service could be performed the next day. He agreed and rebooked me. On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the technician showed up and finished the work within less than an hour. That alone gave me cause for pause. The next cause for pause was seeing how fast the money was deducted from my banking account.
Once the technician was gone, I looked around at his work. I was not satisfied with what I saw. There was an additional charge that was to be removed prior to my service being performed but it wasn’t. Terminix charged me $315 for an annual service agreement! Alan told me three (3) times that the fee would be removed from my quote before I paid. But, this never happened. AND, he stopped returning my phone calls. So, I contacted a competitor and had them inspect what was done. And, I am VERY glad I sought a second opinion! The second inspector pointed out several things that were not done appropriately or at all, which include:
1. Not enough bait traps were installed, and the ones that were installed were installed improperly;2. Foaming should have been applied to gaps and openings in the house where termites were entering; and,
3. It appeared as if I received a localized treatment versus the full treatment that I was told I was getting.
The competitor indicated that foaming the inside of my house, where I discovered I had hundreds of dead termites, was a pretty basic treatment that should have been performed. Additionally, the competitor indicated that what was done by the Terminix representative did not meet industry standards! Lastly, the competitor stated that what work he did see was a pretty basic, shoddy, hit-and-run job!
I got a copy of the technical data for the traps, which state that traps should be installed within three (3) meters (10 feet) of each other. No two (2) traps are within three (3) meters (10 feet). Most were in excess of 15 feet. Some were 30 feet or more apart! As well, some of the traps were ~12 inches away from the house, which is too close!!! Even the installation of the bait traps that were installed were installed inadequately (e.g. They were not flush to the ground. Some were sticking out and others were partially buried.).
In summary, the areas of concern are:
1. Too few bait traps were installed;2. The bait traps that were installed were too close to the perimeter of my house;
3. The bait traps that were installed were positioned with too much distance between them to be effective;
4. Drilling into the cement under the crawl space was never done;
5. The trenching of the exterior perimeter was not done at all;
6. Foaming of the openings in the house should have been done; and, to add insult to injury….
7. Terminix added an annual service agreement for $315.
Based on the second professional opinion I received, I am appalled. Most importantly, based on industry standards (or the county rules) I am now handcuffed to continue to deal with Terminix, for 120 days, before another vendor can even touch my house! What happened to a vendor providing what is promised to the customer? I was deceived and ripped off! I will NEVER do business with Terminix again!

Terminix was supposed to complete an exclusion service in August 2023 on my 97 year old house for $1800. Didn't do it properly. They "missed" a huge gap by my 2nd chimney which continued critter access. 2 techs came over and said it all was good in my attic. 3rd tech came over and said, "Omg. I can't believe they missed the rodents (after an AC guy from another company saw one)! Now you will need full insulation replacement for $6800, but we will seal it all up first so insulation is all new and fresh. It's also rodent resistant(!) and we won't charge you until the job is done." All lies. They didn't seal up the house properly at all (that crew didn't even show up on job day), but they changed insulation anyway.
This is not industry standard! Exclusion must be done 1st per 3 other companies who inspected my home afterwards and all found fresh rodent droppings! Terminix showed up 2 days later though and drilled holes in my original almost historic brick house to only cover vents without fixing other gaps. 42 holes or more to be precise which I now have to fix. Still have rodents. They won't fix their damage, won't replace my insulation (now rodent contaminated) and charged me 100% upfront which they said in writing they wouldn't.
They passed me off to about 4 different managers who each could fit me in days later knowing that I was afraid to sleep at my house and staying elsewhere. This is a dishonest thievy company with no respect for properly, honesty and especially not single women. I'm out about 10k and have to hire other companies to repair their damage and redo all the work not to mention 3-4 weeks of stress and aggravation. So add 2k more.... Plus attorney's fees. Add 3k more.... They apparently are also mostly subcontractors and owned by a non-US company. Buyer beware!!!

We had one Terminix technician for a long time that we loved. Then he got too busy and transferred somewhere else. We had some different people but they were not as good as he was. Now we have him back, we're glad. He usually texts me in advance and tells me he's gonna be there. He asks me if there's anything specific that I need done. The last time I did, I needed something inside instead of just outside so we arranged that. Whatever gets done on the outside keeps the pests out for the most part.

I contracted with TERMINIX to do an exclusion on my house, $4600. They came the first day, did not finish the job. I complained and supposedly the manager came to my house and said it was finished. It took me 8 months later to actually get the job finished after calls to Contact 6 and BBB. And now they refuse to refund my prepaid fee for another year!! Why would want to continue a service that is ignoring me and the techs that came out could not believe the initial job was so mishandled. The manager is a joke and argues with me; POOR customer service and poor response from the company. I wish I would have gone through a different company. I’m just appalled.

Terminix came and did my apartments, but I haven't seen them since. They told me they were gonna do it every month. The technician appeared to be very knowledgeable of the pest business and was thorough in investigating the infested areas. He also followed up a couple of times on me prior to doing the service. I had a house done earlier and they normally come out once a month to inspect. Then they send me a notification that they inspected and whether it was negative or positive.

Horrible. 3 times, no call, no shows. They make apt without telling you and still don’t show. Manager won’t even call back. You take off work expecting to see them and they ghost you. You're out of time and money from work and out your deposit because they are unresponsive. Used Terminix in the past and loved them! Now I hate them! It’s asinine!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the termite services provided by Terminix, which have not only failed to resolve our termite problem but continue to waste my time. We initially chose Terminix this year due to its reputation and promise of effective termite control. Our house showed signs of termite activity, posing a severe risk to the integrity of our home’s foundation. Upon contacting Terminix, they were quick to install bait stations around our property, advising us to allow a few months for the treatment to take effect. However, instead of a reduction in termite activity, we observed an increase, prompting further calls for assistance.
This is where our troubles truly began. The responsiveness and professionalism initially displayed by Terminix vanished when it came to follow-up service. We have made multiple attempts to address the increased termite activity, scheduling appointments for further inspections. These appointments have been repeatedly missed without explanation. Each time, I reached out to customer service, receiving no clear answers or solutions, just a cycle of rescheduling and ineffective escalations. This not only wastes our time but also prolongs the termite damage to our home.
The situation has reached a point where the lack of accountability and effective response from Terminix has left us more vulnerable to termite damage than before their intervention. It is unacceptable for a company of this stature and specialty to display such a lack of commitment to their customers and their contractual duties.
We are incredibly disappointed with the service provided by Terminix. We trusted them to help protect our home and they have failed to do so. This experience has not only resulted in wasted time and money but has also increased our stress and anxiety about the safety and longevity of our home. I urge potential customers to consider this experience when choosing a termite service provider. A company that cannot follow through on its commitments or provide timely solutions to escalating problems is not one that deserves your trust or your business. We expected far better from Terminix, and they have failed to deliver. Too long, didn't read summary: Terminix failed to control our termite problem; instead, it worsened. Repeated missed appointments and unhelpful customer service have left us frustrated. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

I had an appointment with Terminix today, guaranteed from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Terminix failed to show up or call. I asked if they would reimburse me for lost wages and the representative indicated she could not.

We had a heat treatment done at our residence on March 5th, 2024. As a result of the heat treatment, there was damage to various vinyl fixtures, windows and recently installed vinyl plank flooring. Some of the damage was addressed, but not the flooring damage. I have called several times regarding this and nothing has been resolved yet. Due to the cost and extent that a large portion of the existing floor will have to be removed to be repaired, and the lack of response received so far, we are looking for at least a full refund of the cost of the treatment. $4200.00 I have contacted what I believe is our local Terminix location in Bakersfield several times, as well as the corporate toll-free number. Every time get the same answer, "Someone will contact you regarding this issue in 24 to 48 hours." It has already been several weeks.

I scheduled an appointment with Terminix on 04/17/2024 to move some termite stations due to some landscaping taking place. I received a text message confirming the date and time slot. I took off part of the day from work to ensure I was at home during the scheduled time. Of course, no technician showed up. There was no phone call to let me know they wasn't coming. There was no text. No email. No nothing. I just sat at home waiting on Terminix who never showed up.
I called about 30-45 minutes after the end of the scheduled time period to inquire what happened. The customer service rep attempted to call the service technician multiple times with no answer. She also attempted to call "cooperate" to make them aware of the issue so someone could help me. Of course no one answered the phone there either. So she submitted a ticket to them and told me they would get back in touch with me within the next 24 hours. That's been 2 and a half weeks ago and still no contact from Terminix. The customer service rep kept saying they would "make this right". Not sure what that means but it only got worse.
This isn't the first time they have scheduled an appointment and simply didn't show up with no communication at all after I took time off of work to ensure I was here. Terminix absolutely sucks in customer service. They are very quick to get that annual renewal statement out to you each year to collect your money, but when it comes to showing up for service, they seem they could care less about you as a customer. Don't waste your time or money with Terminix. Choose someone else you can count on and who values you as a customer.

I contacted Terminix for squirrel removal from my attic. A very nice man came out to access the problem and explained that there were 2 entry points from my roof and that a one way door would be need, gutters were slightly off (and could also be entry points) needed to be aligned, front of the attic would be accessed via crawl space and entry points closed off, 38 foot ladder (added to the bill) to access roof, all wrapped up in a 2 year contract that included all pest and wildlife removal. I only needed a squirrel removed from the attic. With a senior discount we were still at almost $2 grand.
One tech showed up 2 day later with a “32 foot ladder” and a one way wire piece so that the squirrel could get out. I explained that I was led to believe that the job was much more extensive than one man with a ladder and a small wire door. He went outside and called his supervisor (25 mins) who I asked to speak with before hanging up and before I would allow any work to be done. Came back in and told me that I would get a call back but didn’t know when, probably tomorrow. I canceled the contract and went to Home Depot, met a man who referred Mark from Burton Wildfire Removal who came out the next day, set up 2 traps, came out 2 days later, removed the squirrel and her babies and saved me hundreds $$$$ of dollars in the process. I would NOT recommend Terminix. Careful because Googling Pest/Wildlife Removal will bring up what appears to be various companies with various phone numbers that are actually still Terminix.

If you want the short, abbreviated version, do not use Terminix. They are dishonest and have an inability to do a professional job. Save yourself the hassle and use someone else. We contracted Terminix to remove all the insulation from our attic and close any holes on our exterior where they may be getting in. They gave us a quote of $19,000 to do the job. They were contracted to put 13 inches of insulation throughout our attic and close all of the holes around our house.
They told me they completed the job, but when I checked, they only put half as much insulation and did not close most of the holes. We gave them an opportunity to correct the blatant effort to purposely be deceptive. They spent the next week not answering the phone until I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. If you made the mistake of already using Terminix for your insulation, go back and measure. It is supposed to be 13 inches, and I can assure you, it is not.

We use Terminix for termite exams and they come once a year. They could do it without me being here. It seemed that the person who did it, which was a woman, did a very thorough inspection with taking the pictures, and they present them to me on the internet so I could review them. If they saw stuff piled against the house, they would suggest to not do that. Like firewood. But the good guys we get would move on to corporate level. I said, "That's not fair." But they made more money. The guys get a clientele that they serve. But I had two years when nobody came. I wasn't charged, but nobody came. And all of a sudden, they started coming again.
The guy who supposedly came last year never came, yet he supposedly made a report, but he was never even here at the door. I refused to pay for it. I reported him. I said, "This gentleman is lying." I said I could tell when somebody's on our property. He might have been parked up on a hill and look with a telescope. They're supposed to notify me that they need to make an appointment. We already refused in February. Termites aren't active until it warmed up. And what good would that do? Nothing. I refused to do it. June, July, April. April was fine once the weather warms up. When the ants start to crawl around outside, I would know the termites are active as well. I didn't like the fact that they kept pushing it.
The last time, they wanted almost 400-some dollars. That's the yearly fee on top of everything else. I pay a good amount just for whatever the treatment they do in the house. The house was thoroughly done before we bought it back in '81. Holes were put in the concrete block of the basement to treat. And it wasn't that they had active termites, but it was a preventative. Because this house was built in '51. But to get a loan and to sell our house, we have to have a current statement of termite activity or none or if it has been treated.

Extremely rude company together information on your lawn, or etc... The lady at the front desk is extremely unhelpful and extremely rude and does not have any common sense to say to herself to ask any other employee for information that she cannot provide to customers not knowing if it was a long-term customer or a new customer, the fact is that she could have helped more by providing information that could, helpful to customer regardless if she feels like it a opinion when the customer clearly states don’t need any opinions need information information isn’t the same as a opinion very different maintenance.
The fact that I had called to ask questions based on a product that was currently being used on my property not from this company, but from another for me to call this company together information and for this lady to pick up and be so rude and not provide any helpful knowledge or even use the common sense to ask a employee of the company to answer the question to tell me that it is someone’s opinion that I would be retrieving which I replied to her.
It is not it is information that I had already gotten from other companies. I was just trying to get more from other source. I would highly recommend this for any information on your home I am going to purposely going to come back and reply with a review again to drop the ratings again due to this rude lady that had answered for the company. Unfortunately, you have a rude lady that works for your company and happens to get on the wrong person‘s nerve, I do reviews daily to work on.

The first technician that explained everything to us was thorough. Then Terminix sent someone that day to put the stuff in the ground. We had to call and tell them they should call us and let us know. The first ones didn't call us and let us know that they were coming. They just showed up. But after that, they always call to let us know that they are coming.

The technicians with Terminix are pleasant and knowledgeable. I still have spiders but it's a country place so there are spiders and bugs. It's hard to eradicate everything. Terminix tells you what you wanna hear and whether it comes to fruition or not, that's another story.

Terminix took care of everything very quickly, explained exactly what they were gonna be doing and did it right away. They follow up to see if I have seen any recurrence of pests and check periodically. It's every three months they come by to look at it and see how things are going but I can call them any time if I have an issue. I'd rather pay less but it's worth the value.

We have three contracts with Terminix. The one that does the pest control is excellent. If I have a problem, it's fairly easy to have somebody come and take care of it. For the other two contracts, it's harder to get ahold of them. But when I do, they come and they're good. However, there's not a local number that you can call and you get people overseas. It would be good if they had a call center that's local and you could get ahold of them without jumping through hoops. Also, the website doesn't work because I've tried to schedule things and it seemed they were scheduled but they don't work. No one comes.
