    Everything's been good with Terminix. They come in and do what they need to do. They spray around outside, ask me if I have any problems inside, and take care of anything I ask them to do. However I don't understand why they did mosquito spray when we've got a week's worth of rain.

    A technician came out and installed the termite stations. They did their job, and I don't have any problems with termites since. I'm satisfied. I just don't like continually paying for the product because it's a subscription. It's in the house and it's doing its job fine. But if I stop paying for it, they want to take it away. I feel I've already paid for it since I've been paying for it every month for the past two years. I should pay for it one time and it's there.

    On the day of my appointment, which was a window 3pm to 5pm, I received no confirmation call, so I called to make sure I was on the schedule. I was informed I was on the schedule and someone would be at my home between 3 and 5. At 4:45 I called again because no one showed up still and no one called. I was told it would be looked into. That was last contact I had with Terminix. No one showed up. No one called to follow up. No one called to apologize for a no show. No one cares that I waited just to waste my time and now I have to call someone else and schedule which means it will be that much longer to get my problem taken care of.

    I would give Terminix zero or negative if I could! They quoted me $5000 to take care of our post issues plus $150 per month. Post issues still on going, they have not sealed up everything they said they would. I have called countless times to have this taken care of but no response after 10 months! Finally a manager came out last but still have not heard anything back. We can hear critters at night and have birds in the soffit they were supposed to take care of. I also paid an extra $700 to have my deck sealed to keep the bee population down and keep my deck from being eaten up.... guess that was a waste of $700! Still waiting for a response, I guess I need to take legal action.

    I haven't even had the opportunity to work with Terminix yet because TWICE they have failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. TWICE I went through the Terminix website to schedule an appointment for them to come to my house for a free initial inspection and quote. I scheduled for a 6:00 appointment, that according to THEIR website was available. I even got an email confirmation for 6:00. A few days later, I am contacted by the pest control agent who said he couldn't make the 4:00 appointment. Yes, 4:00 appointment that I didn’t schedule. When I replied that I didn’t schedule for 4:00, I scheduled for 6:00, I didn't get any apology or even acknowledgement that it was an error on their part. I couldn't make 4:00 because of my work schedule and had to reschedule at that time.

    A couple weeks later, I tried again. I went through THEIR website and again picked 6:00 that was shown as available. Once more, after making the appointment, I get a text from the agent who said he couldn't make that appointment because his child was in a school musical. Hesitantly, I agreed to reschedule because I understand family commitments. I reschedule for the following week. He gives me a time of 5:00. I agree. So, the day arrives. I make sure I'm home from work by 5:00. He doesn't show up. 6:00, doesn't show up. I have another commitment at 7:00, which I cancel because agent STILL has NOT shown up or even reached out to notify me of his plans. I text him to see if he is coming. NEVER got any response. I cancelled other obligations because of this appointment. EXTREMELY frustrated that this is the way Terminix does business.

    Charged me in the fall one month after I cancelled so I called again. They assured me it was cancelled and I would be refunded. I was never redunded and then the following Spring they attempted to charge me again! This happened today, 4/10/2024. They are scammers. Check the reviews on the BBB site and you will see many like mine. They probably pay their employees to write good reviews.

    We've used Terminix for years and I've been satisfied with it. We chose them years ago when we had a problem with termites. I knew it was a good name. And we've been going with them. They come every three months. The tech would give me a call and tell me when he was coming. He's very good. He knows where to spray. I told him I found a few ants in the bathroom. He gave me some of those little things to put inside the house. That worked good.

    20 years ago, I made a choice to go with Terminix and I've been happy ever since. They tell me when they're coming next and I tell them to come on over. I've had the same tech for 20 years and he's terrific. He knows what to do and he's doing all the outside, walking around with his stuff, and gets all the cobwebs out. Then twice a year, he comes inside and sprays. So, he covers the waterfront. I'd tell others to sign up with Terminix.

    James comes out to do the work and he calls me to set the date. If it's not agreeable with me, I can always call him back and change it. He does the spider webs and sprays out in front and back. If I have concerns about ants or earwigs, I remind him about that or I'll message him when he sets up the appointment. I really appreciate Terminix.

    They come once every three months to our home to handle any ant issues as well as any spiders or things of that nature. They seem to be quite good at it and they've done a fair job of taking care of our problems. They text us when it's time for our scheduled service and they work something out on the schedule. The technician who comes regularly, Ben, is friendly, capable, and thorough.

    Terminated Service ^/2023. Still had to pay $1813.65 for non-service. I terminated for poor service. Mosquito spray was done at wrong house. I complained. Mosquito Service showed up without calling. I have cameras and saw did not spray the back of property. Next time spray for Mosquito Did not call to let know he was coming. Again back of house was not treated. Informed Terminix I wanted to cancel Mosquito Service. I was told there what be a penalty charge. So cancelled whole Service. Never saw a contract. I will make sure I can cost Terminix as many customers as I can.

    Terminix is professional, courteous, and efficient. Brian would call the day before he came out. We've had a mouse issue that he took care of recently. He has been our technician for a couple of years, and always very pleasant and thorough. He did the termite inspection the other day as well. When I'm here, we would always have a conversation, both professional and "Hey, how are you?" The mice were a bit bad this winter. We live somewhat in the country so that was to be expected. He helped take care of that. The only other issue that comes up every now and then are ants, and he has taken care of those in the past.

    I have been a customer for several years now, with just the basic exterior pest control. I have been very happy during those years, with the spiders and other pests in our house now at a minimum, and our tech, Adam, is phenomenal! My issue is with a different employee and the customer service following an incident. I had an exclusion rep come out to investigate the attic after hearing some type of critters up there. This rep was not entirely truthful with myself and spouse, telling us that by signing up for a different plan, we would be getting more services but paying less money. Unfortunately, this was not the case. While the payment itself is lower, it is billed monthly rather than quarterly, resulting in paying more overall.

    When I called customer service to change back to our original plan, I was told that we would be charged a cancellation fee that was almost the same amount as continuing our contract. After getting nowhere with the customer service rep, I decided to submit a request online, which said I would get a response within 1-2 business days. It has now been a full week with no response. While I would like to continue being a Terminix customer, I do not feel I can continue doing business with a company that I do not trust to be honest. As soon as my contract is up, I will be cancelling all services and switching to a different company. I would urge everyone to stay away from Terminix!

    A lot of times I missed the scheduling. They come, I'm not home, and they do the outside and leave a sign. But I’d really rather be here when they come. I've told different guys that. The last time they came, it was the same situation. They did the outside and just left a sign. I didn't know they were coming. Maybe they texted me but they didn't phone me and these texts sometimes don't go through. Other than that, they are always very nice and they do a good job.

    Terminix is a little pricey and they're in line with the other ones, but I stay with them because my rep, Joe, is so great. He's worth keeping. If he changed locations, I don't think I would stay with the company. Terminix does the best they can but we continue to have the same issues with mice. However, it's contained to the basement, which is good. I just had them last week and they were great.

    I work directly with Joe, which is helpful. He and I text back and forth and he generally tells me when it's time for the service and that he'll be here in a few days between a certain time period. I either confirm or say, "No, I won't be here and you have to do it again." I also get messages from Terminix where I can see where the car is and when he's gonna be here. I can track it, which is really helpful. Joe comes and fills the bait boxes, and then immediately when he's done and he leaves, I get another communication. It's an email telling me all the details, including what he did and what the charge is. They're very good.

    Terminix calls and tells me when they're due to come, and they always call before they come out. I love Nate, our tech. He was out a month ago. We didn't have any problems within the house, so we took care of the outside of the house. There's not even a cricket in the basement. There's been no pest activity except for some damn gnats and that's not their problem. They come from my plants.

    Every three months, Terminix comes in and sprays around the house. They know when I want them here, so they just let me know the date and time they scheduled me for and they tell me to let them know if it's not good. The quarterly maintenance is a preventive measure, and the techs have been great. Terminix has a lot of turnover, but then so does everybody else. The only thing that irks me is the price, but then that goes for everybody else as well. The price keeps going up every now and then. I tell them I'm not paying that, and they say, "Okay."

    We use Terminix for bugs and mice in the house. They do this exclusion thing, where they put poison in the basement, and we haven't had any problems since. The most recent technician was the best guy we've seen since Stefan left, which was about five years ago. He was prompt, thorough and professional. He was pleasant. But scheduling the service sucks. Terminix doesn't have a reasonable system. They don't let you know in advance that they're coming. They used to be much better about it. We've used them since 1975. But there's something wrong with the way their system works now.

    They were here in February. They called to say what time they could come and I said it was okay. I asked them that when they finish, before they leave, to let me know and to send me a report, but I don't remember getting the report. The price was also higher this year.     Terminix was hired to tackle our subterranean termite infestation located in walls due to a shower valve leak. Bait traps were installed around perimeter of home and something was sprayed in partially opened up walls. Since then, we have had swarmers and more workers infest the bathroom. A month later we called to get someone to come out to explain why. Every call made is to a 1-800 number, there is no way to personally contact a manager. Every person ends call stating a manager will contact us in 24-48 hours. For almost a month, no call backs, no shows. Finally had 3 technicians come out to tell us they don't have the proper chemicals to treat and that it will now take multiple appointments to correct the issue.

    Finally made contact with a manager and he had no explanation for the no return calls. They just give you the runaround. Choose a local company that gives you a direct number so you can have clear communication. Trying to work with Terminix is frustrating, maddening and complete insanity that a company can treat customers like this. Conflicting information each time, prevention of contact, it's all shady business. Honestly not sure how they can still be in business. Take your hard earned money to someone else. The 3000+ complaints on the Better Business Bureau speaks volumes. Wish I read those all before wasting my time and sanity with them. I can go on and on and show emails demonstrating all the times we have been neglected. I've reported them to BBB and now the FL Dept of Agriculture.

    Updated on 03/29/2024: Terminix has horrible service. Would not recommend this service. I first contacted them on 3/16 for a fraudulent charge on my credit card. No one contacted me. I am now trying to just terminate my business relationship with them but have been unable to schedule someone to come pick up the termite devices. I received an email on the 25th that stated someone would contact me in 2 business days. As of the 29th I have not been contacted. I also received a response to a Consumer Affairs review on 3/26 that someone would contact me soon. I have not been contacted.

    Original Review: The Terminix technician that provides service to my house is very good. However, he can’t not help you if there is a problem with billing. Terminix billed me $2,970 by mistake. The billing call center has confirmed that it is a mistake. They have been very non-responsive in correcting their mistake. I would not recommend them for this reason. No one has even returned a phone call.

    We've had Terminix for a very long time. They did a great job doing all the treatments. After the initial one, we had one reoccurrence, where everything was retreated properly. We're happy with that. We've had two snowstorms this year. The tech came the day after we got a foot of snow. He never even came to the door, which my husband and I were home. He wrote on the thing that we weren't home. The front walk wasn't shoveled. So, how could he see around the front door? We had termites years ago. Never came into the house. So, I requested that it be reinspected sometime in the spring when there was no snow. We only have it done once a year. We haven't had any problems. We pay $400 a year. So, I wanted it inspected correctly. He did not do a good job.

    He's usually in the spring. But I have complained before because they had come out in the winter. And they came out again. So, I requested to put in my file not to inspect in the middle of winter. It was the same guy for a while that came. And he would come in and inspect where we had termites. It was in the basement downstairs. Not that we have any concerns, but it doesn't seem right that he would come the day after a snowstorm and say he inspected and no signs of termites. How could you see anything? There was snow all the way around the house. He didn't even walk around the house. Because we could see all the tracks that he did. All he did was walk into the backyard and went back up. Other than that, once we had an issue, Terminix was on top of it and took care of it properly.

    The Terminix team comes on time. They're very polite and very patient with my questions. They're supposed to come out on a regular scheduled basis. And normally, they're just doing the outside. I have a garage and two sheds and they were supposed to spray around for mosquitoes and outside insects. We had the tech go in the garage and make sure that all the bees and wasps were gone. At this point, I'm satisfied with Terminix. The last guy that we talked to was very experienced and he gave us some recommendations. He gave us his number and he said, "Call any time with any questions."

    It's easy to schedule a service with Terminix. I just call the office and, within a matter of minutes, someone answers the phone and we go ahead and schedule. I recently had an extermination job done at my home and the Terminix technician who came out was pleasant. I've been working with this gentleman for a while and I have no complaints about him. The outside had ants and they were really bad. He said there were colonies, so he had to use a little more potent spray because a regular spraying wasn't doing the trick. But the ants keep coming back and we had a conversation about it. He said he'd go ahead and treat it, and if I continue to have an issue, to call him back.

    I had another experience with them when I had fleas. I had two cats and they were really infested. The techs came out, put this powder down, and sprayed this powder which disappeared. It didn't stay in the house. They were all suited up and we had to leave the house. We couldn't come back for a couple of hours. But they never had to come back for that issue and I was very pleased with that. Every time it's time for renewal, sometimes I don't want to renew because it's getting too expensive. But Terminix would come back and counter offer me. Then I'd continue to stay with them. As long as they can meet me halfway, I will continue to stay with them.

    Do not use Terminix! They ignored my calls and emails regarding a service that was never completed. When I asked for help, managers Derik **, Antonio **, and Luis ** turned a blind eye. All they wanted was the payment, not customer satisfaction. They really didn't seem to care. It was a nightmare.     Buyers Beware! Would give zero stars if I could. We were sold a wildlife exclusion policy due to "rats, squirrels, and raccoons" being in our attic per the sales tech. We were told that live traps and one-way doors would be used to properly remove the animals and they would not seal the attic till all animals were gone. The tech at the first visit sealed the attic and set mouse traps. A few days later when we smelled a dead animal it took 3 days, multiple unanswered phone calls, and a call to the corporate office to get a tech out to remove the dead animal. At that point, we mentioned the live traps we were promised and a few days later the tech came out to place a live trap in the already sealed attic. We then had a tech show up unannounced after I specifically gave the other tech my availability as I am unable to keep leaving work early for techs to spend 3 minutes to look at a trap.

    At this point, we had enough and called to cancel our policies only to get told we can't due to a financing agreement. A manager has talked to us once about looking into a refund for services that are not going to be completed as agreed upon but has never called back as he promised. We have had to call corporate multiple times and each time we get told they "escalated it to the managers" and we should "hear back in 48 hours" only to have to call corporate 48 hours later again because no manager has called us back and will not answer their phone. At this point, we don't want to pay over $3,000 for services not rendered but are stuck with no resolution. In 48 hours we will call corporate again for the same speech we have gotten the last 3 times we called. Choose a different company.

    We had someone come to our house on January 25, 2024 to put screening to keep out flying squirrels, birds and other rodents. We still are having issues with birds trying to peck their way into our home. We have called Terminix five times with NO customer help! First time, called on February 20, 2024 and was told, "Someone will come to your house on February 26." No one showed up on this date, so I called again and was told by Alaya "Alan will come to your house on February 27 between 8am - 10am." No one showed.

    I called again after 10am today only to be told, "I will call you back within the hour." No one has called back. So I called back and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then was sent to voicemail. Then I decided to text and now I am being told I was never put on the schedule! Just extremely poor communication. Just a call or a text would be helpful. We were going to get their termite and installation service. But no way will this happen after our terrible experience. Terminix should keep their current customers happy.

    Terminix always calls to let me know when they're coming and makes sure that's a good time to come. They come here, take care of it, and they're gone. Usually, I talk to the techs on the phone. Sometimes, I see them when they're here, but at other times, I'm busy and I don't get to talk with them. However, they're always very courteous, tell me what they're doing, and usually, when they're done and if I'm here, they'll tell me what they've done and what they've seen.

    Recently, Terminix came and checked everything out when we first contacted them. They made sure that there was no termite damage in the house and then planted the little traps for the termites and checked for the other bugs. The only pest activity I've ever had in the home is that bugs come in from the outside, so I have the little sticky traps I set by the doors and catch them.

    My experience with Terminix has been good. I've been a long time customer with them, and I've had the same person doing the work almost all the time. Scheduling our service has been sometimes difficult because apparently, they schedule it on the internet, and I don't check the internet. I don't get an email. I don't get anything. Then somebody may call and say, “We're coming tomorrow,” and they know that I don't check their website to see and I don't get an email. So, that's been a little difficult sometimes because it's not convenient for them to come. My long term technician has always called me a couple of days in advance to let me know, and that was always helpful. We have a business account and a personal account, and it's been more difficult with the business account.

    My technician comes and sprays, and we chit-chat a little bit because I've known him so long. And if I can't do it that day, he'll make arrangements to spray the outside on the scheduled day, and then I will call him where he can come and spray the inside and when I will be here, so he's really accommodating. I was trying to get rid of roaches mainly, and I now don't have any. The spraying works. Back in the last year, my regular guy I've used for 40 years wasn’t able to come, and they gave us another guy to spray the house. What happened was he came in with a spray can. The other guy always had a little pump sprayer, and he would spray all around the house. I told this temporary guy, “Look. If that's what you're gonna use, I don’t want you to spray it.” He said, “Well, that's what they tell us to use.” But he left the house and came back a few minutes later with a pump sprayer and sprayed that way. That was what I wanted.

    The gentleman from Terminix came out to assess the activity, if any, on the termite system that I have to make sure that the bait is properly available and has not been consumed by any termite. The bait is part of the plan with Terminix. Our service is on a quarterly basis for checking and spraying the perimeter. The gentleman calls or emails me and says, "I'll be out tomorrow or whatever," and he gives me the window that he's coming, and he is punctual. He says, "I'm here."     I have a mice problem in my house, so I called Terminix to extricate the rodents. They quoted me $2,650 for the "exclusion service" which is basically to place cages around any vents on the roof and to seal any other entry points into the house plus another $219 initial payment for quarterly maintenance. Yes, it is not cheap! The sales person, Travis ** was knowledgeable and professional. The crew came out twice for the exclusion service and to place mouse poison inside the house. Travis explained that the mouse poison Terminix uses dehydrates the mouse so they don't die, rot and cause a bad odor.

    Despite the service, I continued to see mice droppings and other evidence of mice in the house. I called Terminix and they came out again as part of the service. The rep inspected the mouse poison traps only to find that none of them have been touched. He then placed a different kind of mouse poison under the stove and left. Within a few weeks, the new poison under the stove was eaten and I saw a dead mouse under the stove, but it was dead and rotting causing an awful smell!

    No dead mice since from any of their 7 mouse poison traps, but Terminix failed miserably to solve my mice problem and to extricate the mice. I still see evidence of mice droppings in certain locations, i.e.,, under the stove, inside my baking utensil draw, by the refrigerator, etc. I even found a mouse in my bed on one occasion!! Finally, yesterday used a glue mouse trap and peanut butter and caught two mice within two hours. Terminix is a Total Waste of Money. Don't use Terminix!! They won't get rid of your rodent problem. I am not sure about their other services though since I only used them for my mice problem.

    I would like to ask the internet to see whether my unhappiness with Terminix was reasonable or not: We called Terminix for help to get rid of the minor ant problem at our house. They came to do a service on November 21, 2023, initial service charged $US281.79, and said that they would have a 3 month warranty, and to call them back if there was still ant problem. By mid January 2024, we noticed there were still ants coming into the house, and we called the technician back to deal with the ant issue since it was less than 2 months. The same technician did not come back right away, but came on Feb 8 to apply more ant baits etc, but never mentioned extra charge for his coming out to check on the persistence of the ant problem which they did not resolve with the first visit.

    Since he did not mention about the extra charge and I thought it was within the 3 month warranty period, I was shocked to receive a bill of US$172.99 (the amount they would charge for the subsequent quarterly service on contract). When I called the Terminix to ask about the charge, the lady on the phone said that she would ask the manager to call me back. But the manager never called me back. I called them again, and was informed that the manager already made up their mind that I would have to pay for the extra ant bait service without calling me back. They simply did not want to value customer's opinion and they would not keep their words of 3 month warranty and insisted that I would have to pay for ineffectiveness of their first treatment. The gentleman on the phone said if I did not pay, they would put into the hand of collection office. I felt threatened. So I asked to talk to someone about cancelling our service.

    The lady with the account cancelling department said the same thing that I needed to pay for the full amount even after I offered my compromise to pay half. so I said "fine, I don't like to deal with company that does not keep their words. I would pay the unreasonable charge, but please cancel my agreement". They agreed to cancel the contract and I paid the unfair charge right after the phone calls.

    I have no problem with our technician, he was a nice guy. I am just not happy to deal with Company that does not do what they say, does not value customer service, nor like to compromise. Normally, I don’t like to put negative comment on any business since it is hard to do business nowadays. However, in this case, I just felt very unfair and threatened from a customer point of view.     Right now, we have the pods and the techs don't have to go under the house. They come every year, but these last few times, they came about six months apart. The pods have not been in the ground very long around the house, and they check them. Everything has been fine. The tech, Keith, was very thorough, knowledgeable and mannerly and he knows his job.     Terminix always sends a text before they come, and they let me know when they're finished. The techs always tell me when they're there and when they leave. If I'm home, they always ask, "Is there anything specifically?" I give it an A-plus. They listen, then they help me find a solution to my issue. Last year, I had a problem with ants. I told the guy and he gave me these little strips that I can put in my window sill. I also told them once that I had bats in the outside, by the front door, and they gave me this green stuff to put up there. They're very responsive.

    I purchased one year pest control service from Terminix, after receiving first service, I was expecting next service but not received. On the date of service, the Terminix service car came across the street and parked for few mins but no one came out from car. After few mins waiting I saw car left. I thought probably the guy will come back or someone will come to provide service but unfortunately no one showed up. After few hour later Terminix charged fro my card for the 2nd service. I disputed the payment to credit card service and request for money back. The credit card authority reimbursed my money. After few days later Terminix sent bill and include a letter. They mention on the letter that if I do not pay the money, they will report credit bureaus. My recommendation please do not buy any service from Terminix if you do not want lose your money.

    Do not use Terminix. I took 3 days off of work first day they were supposed to come out. They never showed up and I had to call them to see what was going on. They told me that they would get ahold of the manager and have him call me. He never did so I had another appointment the next day. No one showed up again, so I just waited that out. I did then got another appointment for the next week. Still, no one calling me or anything. Again, even though they scheduled at this time, no one showed up. I then called them again and they called the manager. I then get a text message from one of their workers don’t even know if I was a manager saying they don’t do that service and sorry for the inconvenience. OK for number one they should’ve called me last week and let me know they didn’t do that. Or they should have more communication with each other on what they do and what they don’t do.     We contracted with Terminix for a rodent exclusion. They were to identify and correct places rats are able to enter our house. They were to place traps and sticky pads in our ceilings and crawl spaces and return to check them within 14 days. The day they came to place traps, they informed us that they were out of traps so they put out sticky pads and said someone would be out to finish in a couple of days. The 14th day has come and gone and as of day 22 they have not returned. We called 4 days ago and asked to speak to the manager and again yesterday. They would not connect us but took a message.     Sometimes, we ended up calling Terminix to get scheduled rather than them calling us. In some cases, their left hand didn't tell the right hand what was going on. I had an emergency. I had to go to Texas. I called Terminix. My wife called Terminix and said, "Don't call my husband's cell phone anymore. Call our landline." But they kept on calling the landline.     I reached out to Terminix because I needed a different system and group to get rid of a mice problem. I've had to call them to come out and the most recent time, I had messaged the tech to come out and get one that was in a trap. It's caught a couple. I had told the guy that I knew there was at least four because we had seen three and I heard of four. So, I knew there was at least four and I don't think he believed me because he didn't wanna put a trap one spot where I told him I had seen them and my son had seen them. He finally did. The first time there was one that got caught, I messaged him. He said he'd try to make it out. I messaged him again and said, "There's another. I need you to come out." He told me he wasn't sure if he'd be able to come out, but he did. Then the next time I called him, I said, "Hey, I have more." He came back out and he said, "I can't believe you have still more." I said, "I told you there was at least four."

    Scheduling that service was frustrating. When I signed up, they gave me their numbers and said to call them whenever, and they would get somebody out within 24 hours with no problem. But all the times that I've asked for them to come out, it's been a hassle. It's been, "I think I can come. I'll see what I can do" or the supervisor guy didn't even answer. Then I reached out to the guy who's supposed to come to my house, and he told me that he wasn't working that day. He'd come the next day. I was like, "Okay, fine. I'm not touching it because it's poison. I'm just gonna take my kids away from it."

    Then he didn't call. He didn't show up. I was like, "Hey, just checking. Are you still coming today?" He said, "Oh, my work truck broke down. I'll be there tomorrow." So, that was 48 hours and my husband ended up taking care of it. I told him, "You gotta get rid of this. This is ridiculous." I think the mice are gone. I just wish that the tech would have listened to me more from the beginning. I might not know how to get rid of them, but I knew what I was seeing. It was frustrating to be told that it could be this but probably not.

    The Terminix technician was here a little over a week ago. He gave proper notice, and he was on time and very professional. He treated the house, interior and exterior. He was really good and I was totally satisfied with his latest visit. Scheduling the visits is really easy. All you do is log in the website, pick a date, and they'll come out. Typically, they come out every two months for me. But if I need a treatment in between, all I do is log into the website, pick a date, and they generally have pretty good availability as far as time frames and the dates aren't too far off in the future.

    They also answer any calls I have quickly and they're very customer service oriented. Their technicians that come out here are always very nice and courteous. They ask me what I want them to do first. I have a crazy dog and I have to put the dog away for when they come. I have the dreaded German cockroaches and they're hard as heck to get rid of. But since I got Terminix, the roaches have greatly reduced. Terminix is doing the best they can, and they're keeping the roaches at bay. Terminix has a fair price and good service. There are lower cost alternatives out there, but you get what you pay for.

    Terminix would come out and do a very good job of making sure that what is in the house is people and what are out of the house are pests. With scheduling, everything went well. The tech gave us a call two days prior to him coming out, right before he came out as well when he was half an hour out from the house, just informing us when he was on his way. The tech checked everything that needed to be checked. He saw nothing specific that was happening, which is great. Checked the attic space as well. And we're doing fairly well. No issues with rodents. A year ago, I wouldn't have said the same thing because we still had issues with rodents. But now, we're clear and clean. The majority of the rodents were caught by myself. But Terminix caught a few of them. I have recommended them to friends in the past.

    On May 2023, I paid for the Terminix exclusion service, which cost more than $2,200, to seal my property in order to prevent rats from entering the home. I called Terminix every other week with continued rat issues and lack of technicians properly sealing the exterior of the house. This became such an issue that I lost tenants that lived in my property for two years.

    In November 2023, after countless calls and lack of proper service, I requested a cancellation and refund. The Terminix manager (Clearwater Office), Hector **, called requesting another chance to rectify the issues identified, which I accepted. He went to the property and made some minor improvements that did not fix the rat issue. Mr. ** didn’t have the decency to call or text me to inform me of the issues found during his visit, as promised. At this point, I canceled the service and once again requested a refund. From late November to beginning of January I’ve called Terminix to request an update.

    On January 11, 2024, I spoke with a Terminix representative that informed me that Mr. ** attempted to contact me on January 5, 2024, which was a lie, as I never received a text, call, or voice message from him. The representative mentioned that no refund would be provided. She highlighted that Mr. ** informed the company that a lot of work was performed and that my new tenants didn’t allow them to place traps inside the home (tenants have two children under 4). The problem wasn’t inside the home but several dozen openings that were never sealed, as paid for, by Terminix. Highly recommend not hiring Terminix for anything in the Saint Petersburg and Clearwater, FL area. I have several dozen pictures to show the all the openings Terminix never sealed. Terminix never asked for the pictures of course. I had to hire another company to properly seal the property. Within one week of the new service, we no longer had a rat issue.

The guy that does it, Joseph, does a wonderful job and if I have any questions, he's always willing to answer them.     Terminix makes the appointments and never tells me when they're going to do them. They call a day before whether I'm available or not, then they say they're going to do the outside. That's awesome, but my problems are inside. I usually text them back immediately to tell them that I need them to be inside, too, But when the tech came when we agreed he'd come, he only worked outside. For him to do that and charge me that whole thing then miss the whole experience of what I need is ridiculous and redundant at this point. I'm also not pleased because Terminix keeps raising my amount and I'm not getting any real service.

    Right now, my concern is having roaches to the point that they are in every room. I have bought stuff, did stuff, sprayed stuff, and I cannot get rid of them. It would be one thing if we just had been working on this for a couple of months, but we've been working on this for over a year. They're getting into my Keurig, and crawling out of my dishwasher, my bathroom, and out of my nightstand. The tech said that there are certain things he could not do because it's against the law to spray inside the dishwasher and I understand that. But my question is, these squirts aren't doing anything and am I ever going to get rid of these roaches? They should have been gone by now. Other than that, I'm very comfortable with the tech and wherever I tell him to go, he'd go.

    I've never had a bad experience with my Terminix technician. He always swings by when we need him. He lets us know prior to coming out. Normally, he gives me a call once every three months and lets me know when he's gonna be in the area and sets up a time. If I need him other than that, I give him a call and he'll call me back and let me know when he's available. He does what we request of him. We still have bundles and bundles of spiders, and we have an ant activity all over the yard. When they wind up getting in the house, he comes out and sprays inside the house and that takes care of it for about a year. Terminix is higher priced than most, but the service we seem to get and what they use seem to be effective.

    They have delayed almost every appointment allowing the bugs to multiply & spread. They do not treat all the infected areas, just the minimum. They say we do not need to prep or do any treatments between appointments, not true! It’s like they don’t have any experience dealing with bed bugs. In my research I learned that lift chairs are one of the hardest things to treat & they don’t even spray it as thoroughly as the couches. Their sprays are ineffective & or they wait too long between treatments for them to work at all. Over 3 months of dealing w Terminex & no improvement. It makes me sick thinking of my parents living w these bugs feeding on them. It is wearing down their well being & peace of mind. Do not waste time & money on Terminix. Try any other company.

    I was having some problems with what I thought was a squirrel up in my attic. A guy from Terminix came. He was a little guy and could get up there and crawled up in the attic. He told me that he thought it was a squirrel even though I couldn't see where it could have gotten in at. He set some traps first and got that done. He said they come back, do the deterrent, and spray it all up there. I was all in until he said it'd be about $1,500. I asked him, "Is there any way we could pay you something down and pay it out?" He said, "No. We have to have it all upfront." I can't do that. I went with somewhere else that's cheaper. It's a local guy. He found out it was a pack rat instead of a squirrel. We got rid of it.

    Terminix' service has been top quality all the time. They would call and tell what time between when they would be here. If I was here, that was fine. If I were not, they would do their job. They explained everything well. The young man came and was concerned about a hole where a mouse might be able to get in. But his supervisor and I remembered where the hole was, and it was underneath the fireplace, so the mouse couldn't go anywhere. But it was great that he was concerned about it.

    I love their service. I had a Terminix service personnel come out to my house every quarter for years and he finally retired. I received another gentleman who was excellent and I really like him. He does exactly what I need to have done with my home, outside and a little bit inside. The only disappointment I've had with Terminix is they're not consistent in sending the same representative out to my house. The service was to be done every three months and somebody else would call saying they were coming out. I would call up the office and tell them I want my regular person. This continually happened. I'm sure they're good representatives but I don't wanna keep training people to come out to my house. Once I have one person come out, that's the person I want to keep coming out.

    When I call their 1-800 number and talk to a service personnel, they're always cooperative over the phone and happy to do what I want to have done. But there are some things going on within the company where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I finally got a person from Terminix that listened to me and got it done. I would call my regular service personnel on his cellphone and he would get in touch with his manager. It was all resolved and my service is excellent. I had a lot of bugs here and a lot of spiders but Terminix has eliminated that issue. I don't mind making the payment that I've been making. Although, when I make my payment on the website, it doesn't accept it. I've talked to their service personnel and it was never fixed. I have to call and give my credit card over the phone.

    The major issue that I usually have is ants once it starts to get warm. There are areas outside the house that, thank goodness, Terminix treats for because then I can keep them out of the house. They do treat for spiders indoor if I'm having a problem with them and I can let the technician know if there are any bugs that are out of the ordinary. The tech, Vance, is so helpful. He knows what things are so he can do the proper treatment. He would tell me to call him if I see pest activities again and he lets me know if the spray that he uses will treat and create a barrier to keep whatever I might see out of the house. If for some reason there's a conflict and the inside of the house needs to be treated but I won't be home or somebody can't be here, then he changes the schedule to come on a different day, date, and time.

    Most recently, I had a maintenance and treatment that Terminix does for outdoors and areas of concern. Vance told me the month that I'll be due again and to let him know ahead of time if there were any issues or if anything came up in between. If he was not the technician doing the work and providing the service, I would seriously consider going someplace else because my mother and my dog are familiar with him. There's a certain amount of trust you have to have with a person if they're coming in your house if you might not be there. But the nice thing is that Terminix has consistent service representatives that regularly come out. That's an asset when you're looking for pest control service, because then you know exactly who to contact when there is an issue and they've always been very quick to respond if, for some reason, there was something that’s pest-related that needed to be dealt with.

    Absolutely worthless and way overpriced. Customer service useless. They charged me almost $6,000 for attic insulation replacement for about 2,000 sq ft attic space because of a rodent problem about a year ago. We had just come back from a long vacation and work was busy. Also since it’s a rodent problem we wanted to get it done quickly, so I didn’t have time to ask or shop around. The insulation is supposed to be nonflammable but I tried and saw that the cheap insulation material they put can burn!!! They missed some of their follow up visits, too! Can you believe that? Every time I called them to raise and resolve my concerns they kept transferring me, eventually to a dead end. The insulation material was also supposed to be rodent repellent but after a year now, I am suspecting another rodent activity but I am not going to even try calling them anymore. Waste of time and money!! Avoid them! Especially for attic insulations.

They didn't listen to the noises that I heard and they assumed that it was just mice, but it wasn't. It was squirrels. Somehow they didn't remember the silent as a mouse. But the second person who came out solved it and did a good job.

    I was looking at prices for pest control on the internet and Terminix popped up first where it had an online estimate option which seemed very convenient for me instead of calling in. They made it easy for me to get their services. When they first came out, they were checking for bedbugs and they found some termite damage so they offered a service to do them. Every three months, they're supposed to do the outside and the last time they were out, maybe in October, they did the perimeter treatment. But the other times were a little bit more specialized. The termite treatment was a one-day thing and for the bedbug treatment, they came out and then there were two more appointments. The technicians have been great, very informative, super helpful and gave me the rundown and pictures.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND. I saw some termites in my garden in April. The rep came out and signed me up. I specifically told him I only wanted to treat the termites until the fall. We had a full discussion around it. I called in October to cancel and was told that I was locked into a year contract. It was then that I realized that they never sent me an email with my agreement to begin with - the people at Terminix could not find an email of it being sent to me either. I was also given login to my own portal with Terminix and found it odd that my agreement was not attached there.

    There are 3 different package options for termites on their website. I asked the young man on the phone what the difference is, and he told me it was based on my credit. Umm ok. I then called back a 2nd time and spoke to a women - she told me that I "signed up" for the preventative package and that is why I was locked into a year. She goes on to say that if I had termites when I initially called them, they would have just treated them and not signed me up for a year. I told her - I did have termites when I initially called and requested for them to be treated.

    Finally, I wrote a letter complaining and received a call from the branch. I was told that they would cancel my agreement and stop charging me. After the call, I received a confirmation email. That was October. I was still charged for service in both November and December. I called today to ask for a refund and was told that even though my agreement was cancelled that I would still be charged until they removed the bait stations from my yard. How is this possible or fair? Terminix has had 2 months to come out to remove these stations and have chosen not to do so - yet I am being charged? So basically, they can decide to never remove them, so I have to continue to pay? This place is so fraudulent, it is unbelievable. Absolute liars and thieves.

    When I first started with Terminix, the rate was $99. But now it's 159 every time they come out. I can understand that everything is going up and I don't know how long I'll be able to keep the 159 every three months or whenever they come. But we like their services so we'll keep doing it unless we can't afford it anymore. The techs are very, very polite, and they do what I tell them to do. They're very helpful. The pest activity has gotten less. The only thing that we get a lot of is mice. But they give us the hotels and we get them, and then they're gone. We also have had less spiders around the house.

    I hired Terminix to get rid of a cricket issue. I have inside my home they claimed they would be able to get rid of an infestation of crickets within a week did not have an infestation, but there was activity so when I called them, they came and put down sticky traps and they sprayed in all the areas three weeks later I was still having the same issue so I called him back he came. He sprayed again put down a few other sticky traps and three months later still dealing with the same issue so when I called them back, I called them back two months later and booked an appointment on the day of the appointment. No one showed up and when I called them, they told me that the service manager canceled the appointment because my 30 day service was expired which no one ever told me that I had a 30 they expiration.

    On top of that no one ever called me to tell me that my appointment was canceled so I sat and waited all day and no one showed up on top of that. I had several calls into the service manager and the corporate office and no one ever called me back a big rip off company, don’t waste your money on them. They’re just a big monopolized company that can’t do their job and rips off the public.

    Our tech, TJ, is very friendly. He is great. Terminix normally tells me when they are coming. The last time I pointed out anything was back in the summer to check for wasps because I'm allergic to them. The tech went around and took something underneath the gutters. It looked like a giant Q-Tip. Terminix isn't the cheapest pest control out there, but you get their undivided attention. When I went with pest control, I went with someone with deeper pockets and the guarantee that if something did happen to the house with termites, they would not only fix the termite problem but they would replace any damage that happened to the house. I've also had Terminix do my encapsulation. They did my gutter guards and my insulation. They came and took all the old with a great big vacuum and vacuumed out all the old insulation and put in the new insulation.

    I've had Terminix for a long time. Years ago I used to have an ant problem and I called them. I haven't had an ant problem since. Terminix usually notifies me beforehand for service and they may give me a call. The technicians come to the door and they tell me they're there. I let them do their thing. Afterwards, they will give me a report and maybe some pictures. It all goes smoothly. They might have found a spider here and there, but I don't have any major problems. Terminix has been good.

    We switched from Orkin to Terminix because they had better deals and bundled some of our services together. Their pricing was transparent. They've been really good. I haven't had any problems with them. They do general pest prevention and for mice, too. We haven't seen any termite damage. They come regularly. They're responsive.     Terminix came to our house to assess a possible termite problem the first week of May 2023. Their consultant looked over the house and noted possible problem around concrete stoop at front door (no other problems). He advised injection of chemicals in stoop area and termite bait traps around other areas. We carefully discussed where NOT to place bait traps due to buried water lines! A technician came a few days later to drill into stoop and inject chemicals. After making holes in the concrete he discovered that the chemical compressor was not working and he would return with a working compressor in a few days, but I reiterated not to place bait traps unless I was there.

    My wife and I had to leave town. When we returned we found bait traps placed in an area I specifically said to avoid. Also, we found a bait trap in our backyard on its side, not even in the ground. Of course, when we turned the water on we quickly saw that one of the incorrectly placed bait traps had punctured the water line and was pouring water into the yard and sidewalk area. Fortunately, we were able to turn off that particular water line.

    I called the local Terminix office but I soon found out that all local numbers are directed to a central answering system throughout the U.S. I was told someone would contact me within 24 hours to arrange a repair. Had this occurred I would not be writing this scathing review. After another few calls I was told to get it repaired and I would be reimbursed and the poorly placed bait traps would be properly located.

    I had the repairs done and then a local supervisor came to the house to see what had happened. He determined that the bait trap not placed in the ground in the back of our house was not needed so he took it with him. I showed him the damaged section of pipe that had to be replaced and he said to email the paid bill for water line repairs to him and he would see that it was processed. (This was July 5, 2023). He also mentioned that the person who placed the traps and injected the chemicals had been fired for incompetence. My last attempt to communicate with this supervisor was on 8/10/2023. Still no response. I called and talked to another out of town person in a call center. Again I was told an area supervisor would contact me in a few days.

    On August 25, 2023 I was informed during one of my calls, that the supervisor who came to my house in July is no longer employed by Terminix. Another area supervisor did make contact with me the middle of September. He found the repair bill I had paid and he would send it immediately to be processed. He also said a tech would be out soon to move the improperly placed bait traps. (That was done the first week in November). I have been told several times that the request for reimbursement was placed and approved on September 18, 2023, but I have received nothing as of today November 30, 2023. I presume the check is "lost in the mail".

    And through all of this, Terminix has been charging my VISA card a monthly fee to support their protection plan. They are more than eager to take money from me, yet are loathe to pay me for the damages their technicians caused on my property. Terminix is lacking in basic business integrity. How do they select their employees such that three of those who worked with me are no longer there due to incompetence? They refuse to take responsibility for the actions of their employees. I do have over 34 documented contacts with Terminix with dates and names from 6/5/2023 when the broken water line was discovered through November 3, 2023. Isn't this too long to wait? FYI the repair bill was $101.33 and Terminix charges me $118 monthly. I urge anyone who seeks termite assistance to avoid Terminix.

    First appointment was scheduled for Saturday 3 to 5 for inspection and estimate. Drove to property. After sitting and waiting I called. Oh. Appointment was rescheduled for today Monday 3 to 5. But no one calls to tell you. Found out tech was on vacation. So scheduled today, Monday. For 2pm. Drove down again. Finally called again. Told it was 1 to 3. They called tech. He called me back. He was not even in this area. We were not on his schedule. Now he is to call me tomorrow when he is closer to see if I can meet him. We are suppose to get 2 to 4 inches of snow plus this will be my 3rd trip to meet him. Waiting on branch manager to call me. Wonder how long that will take. Not happy.

    My wife called because she saw a mouse in our house. A salesman showed up at our home to resolve the issue. Next thing I hear about, because I was at work, they changed our insulation out, put some plastic in the crawlspace, and who knows whatever else. Then I received a bill in the mail for over $18000. My wife just ask to get rid of a mouse. They took the 12" of insulation out of my attic and only put back 4-6", in some spots there was none. My furnace ducts were damaged in the process. I know this because insulation particles keep coming out of my vents. The ceilings throughout my home were ruined because of the people walking on them while spraying in the insulation.

    While they were spraying a hose come off and insulation was blown throughout everything in my garage. The mess was not cleaned up until my wife ask them to clean it up. A couple guys showed up a few days later, they helped themselves to my new shop vac I hadn't even finished assembling, now it's ruined. When one of the shotty crews they hired to do some of the work showed up, they backed their van into the side of my house and damaged the siding. The supposed crawlspace sealing out, what a joke! They unrolled plastic and taped it here and there, I've seen better work from kindergartners. A couple days after the work was supposedly completed a tech from Terminix showed up to sign off, that the work was completed, he would not sign off because of the terrible job. To sum it all up, the work that was done would have to be redone the correct way.

    The dryer duct was removed and not reinstalled, so my dryer just blows into the crawlspace. The plastic in the crawlspace is taped very poorly with gaps all over. The mold treatment over some moldy areas did not work, 4 days after treatment mold was growing in several areas. I'm not just saying this, the technician informed me of this. The boards for walking across the attic were taken down put in my garage and are still there now. They have been to my home to resolve these and other issues 5-6 times, and when I talked to a manager he still wants to send someone out to fix the issues. I mean shouldn't a company this big get it right the first time, I understand that accidents happen, but really 5-6 times and they wonder why I don't trust them. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

    Terminix has been my exterminator for years. They've gone up too much with their price for the service as long as I've been with them. They had to come and test to see if the bedbugs were still there and treat it. It was a nightmare that I would not wish on my worst enemy. It was hell and it cost me a lot of money because I threw away everything. The guys that came out were excellent. Did not like the guy that came out the first time to give me the quote. He was pompous. But that was all great and it took a lot of effort on their part to get rid of the sucker. They did a good job. They did everything they said they would. Sundar has always been great. He would call me first and let me know he's on his way. He would call me the day before and the day he's coming. My problem was the whole way they do appointments. That was the most screwed-up system I've seen in my life.

    Terminix does not call back. And when they do, they act snippy. I thought I was talking to a guy that was in the Terminix office here in Atlanta and he made an appointment for me. But he didn't put it in the system. It was a screw-up and it took forever to get the techs to call me before they came. Because my house is big and I live in the back part of my bedroom. So, when somebody knocks on the front door out there, I wouldn't hear it. I had to call the 800 number and that didn't get me to somebody in Atlanta. I would think that's who would control appointments. Call this 800 number, it's Terminix. But it was always somebody working offshore.

    I called several times and would talk to them. But the guy that came out that first day to confirm I had bed bugs and Sundar, the quarterly guy, the one that told me, I told them some kind of little black bug keeps attacking me and I showed him my arms were eaten up. And he said, "Good Lord." He came back, looked in the bed and said, "Yeah, it's bed bugs."

    He said, "Anything you want. Here's my card. Here's my cell number." I had a question the next day after I signed the contract and I called and left a couple of messages. He never called me back once. In January, I'm gonna find out what my contract is with them for quarterly and I'm thinking about changing after all these years. I hate it. Because Sundar does such a good job. But if Sundar didn't call and tell me when he's coming, I wouldn't know. Nobody in appointments calls and says, "Hey, it's time for Sundar to come to do your quarterly." It has been many times for me.

    I had some problems with cockroaches in my home and I contacted Terminix and did a subscription. They had someone come here around three months ago and the person fumigated the whole house. Then, the person came back two weeks after that to do some kind of follow-up. Two weeks ago, we called back and the person came back to do it every three months. The technician was great. This is an unpleasant job that he has but he does it with care. He was very nice and did the work nicely. Once he comes and does the work, it seems that the problem is solved. The first time he came, we found two cockroaches afterward, but they were dead. So, it seems that the service works. It is a little bit expensive but it's fair.

    The representative on the phone was okay the first time and was very efficient and scheduled everything correctly. The second one a couple of weeks ago was a little bit more problematic. I called and she said she was going to schedule everything. She offered me a free service that should be included in my subscription and then, she scheduled for a certain day. I worked from home that day but the exterminator didn't come. I called Terminix and they said there was a mistake. The person that I talked to put me down as a new client. So I was not allowed to have the extra service that she offered me. And she didn't schedule the service that day that I was waiting so I had to wait for the next week, which was a hassle.

    Listen to this: I had an appointment scheduled for today between 3-5pm. When I got home at 2:50 there was already a business card from Terminix by a guy name Barry **, who claimed that he already inspected the house and had a quote for me. Here are some red flags:

    1- I received a text message yesterday confirming my appointment for today between 3-5 pm. Why did he show up earlier? His response: I (me the customer) was on his schedule for yesterday and he came today. Strange.

    2- Why would you have an inspection done without talking to me or seeing the property inside where the problem is?

    3- The answers I received from him was poor and less than satisfactory.

    4- The answers I received from a customer service representative was lacking and poor.

    5- The answer I received from a “manager” Jonathan was very disappointing and unsatisfactory.

    I had left work early to be here before 3:00. And the only option I received was: “we can schedule this to tomorrow”. With all due respect, a company that screws up at the appointment stage is NOT to be trusted with anything else. Make the right decision: don’t choose them.

    I have service set up quarterly, and Terminix sends me a text when somebody is coming out. Somebody was here doing an annual inspection, and we talked about it, then they were able to schedule me within the next week. Someone recently came out and pest-proofed my house outside to keep all the rodents out. I also had a bird issue, where the birds were building nests in my gutters, and someone took care of that.

    Terminix was very official. The tech left, and I texted him and said there was something else that he missed. He came back the next day and fixed it.     We've had a lot of different things that Terminix has been able to deal with. We have mice in the attic and the shed, ladybugs in the house, and a raccoon in the attic at one point. We've got other issues around the house too, including boxelder bugs and ants. On the outside of the house, we used to have boxelder trees. They've been since taken out, but there must be a boxelder nest somewhere and we haven't located it. They like to accumulate on the front of my house, so Terminix sprays pesticide on the outside of the house to keep things from getting inside. That barrier helps a lot.

    My house is partially wood. There is some brick, but there's a lot of wood. We were concerned about that as well, so we have a service for not only the pests, but also the termites. Terminix comes out once a year to inspect, and as long as there are no termites, I keep paying. No termites is great, but the way that they pay the claims is a lot different than insurance. We're hopeful that we never have the issue, but I feel comforted knowing that if we do have an issue, we have that additional coverage with Terminix as well.

    The service has gotten a lot more expensive in the last few years, but the technician comes out once every three months, and we're really happy with the service. If we've got an issue, we can call him in between and he'll come out, and there's no additional charge. We love the technician that comes out here. He's very knowledgeable on all the different things that we've approached him with. We've had the same technician for a long time, and that also has an impact on our staying with the service.

    The Terminix tech came out and took care of insects inside the home like mites, spiders and ants. I don't like creepy crawlies. The services are already prescheduled. My service tech has me on his list and rotation every three months. He'll give me a call the day before and say, “I've got you down for tomorrow if that works for you.” “Yeah. Sure.” Or it might be, “Oh, I won't be home tomorrow.” He'll come out and do the outside and then make another trip back to do the inside when I'm gonna be home. He's very accommodating. He's very professional, but he's very personable and really easy to talk to. We get along great. It's like I've known him forever.

    I'm very happy with my services. I always have an issue with mice. We live on a farm, so I have an issue with mice. About this time of year, they're wanting to come in more. He keeps the little bait stations filled for me, and he may leave me a few extra ones for me to open them up and refill them if I need to in between his trip. I also always have ants. No matter how much I clean, I get these little aggravating ants. So, he's given me this gel to use, and he left a tube for me to use throughout my in-between visits. Then he sprays everywhere around the foundation of the house and on the inside with the baseboards and cabinets. He's very thorough. He knocks down all the cobwebs outside around the porch and awnings, and keeps those cleaned off for me.

    These people are horrible. I would not recommend using this company for anything. From the salesman to the office workers, they do not care about the customer. They just care about the money. The actual tech that came out to spray was the only person that understood what “customer service” means. The salesman had me sign a contract, which he told me was just the form allowing the tech to come out. Never mentioned a contract. My bad on that one. About 3 weeks later I called to pay my year in advance. I paid the amount quoted to me by the rep and they TOOK an additional $120 or so out THE VERY NEXT DAY! When I asked why they told me that the representative gave me the wrong dollar amount. They refused to refund that money. So I feel like they stole $120 from me. There were so many other things they did wrong within that one month, but those are the main ones. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

    We had our Terminix guy call me about two weeks ago saying he was scheduled to come out. When he came out, he and I chatted for a couple of seconds. He did his service. He left the summary of the visit at my doorstep. I wasn't there at the time when he left. He's the greatest guy. Almost every time, before he starts, we have a brief chat by his truck, and I'll tell him what's been happening. “I've got some activity here. Some ants or rats,” or whatever we have going on. He usually gives me a diagnosis and what he's gonna do that visit. Sometimes, he can't really do much, but he'll clean up the yard waste or fruit that's dropped. He’ll give me a summary. Then during that visit, he does what he can.

    Sometimes, he says, “I can't do anything.” We had some animals get into our heating and ventilation system, and he said, “Well, it's something that happens a lot. Here's what people typically do, but we don't really do that because we do extermination.” He'll kinda give me some general advice. He's a very helpful person, very timely and keeps on top of the appointments. I couldn't imagine a better service person than him. We had a couple of different people come out from time to time. I don't really know them and to me, it's important to know your exterminator guy. They don't really come into the house too much. They typically try to stay outside but it's a lot more important than we imagined when we built the house. Terminix is a great company.

    Two days ago I scheduled an appointment for a free inspection. The appointment was set for Saturday between 10:00 and 12:00 p.m. At 1:30 no one had shown up, nor did I get a phone call giving me an update on when the inspector would be here. I called the number provided. The auto recording did not work. I finally got in touch with someone and he said, "Hold while I try to contact someone." Fifteen minutes later he hadn't come back to the phone. I hung up. About an hour later I called again. Same problem. Auto recording didn't work. When I finally got in touch with the second person, he put me on hold to try and contact someone. He came back and said, "It looks like everyone's busy because it's a Saturday."

    I said, "Why did no one call me regarding my appointment? Why didn't they call to update me on when they'd be here?" The man replied, "I have no idea. Is there anything else I can do for you?" I said, "No. Absolutely not!" I let him know that this companies customer service is completely unprofessional. I asked him to cancel my appointment and told him that I was going to leave a well-deserved negative review. This is that review. Horrible! Do not use Terminix. They are not responsible. They don't hold themselves accountable. Their response to a disgruntled client was cavalier at best. My day was wasted waiting for them to honor their commitment to show up at a given time. I wasn't even granted a phone call. I received nothing but horrible, inexcusable service. DO NOT USE TERMINIX! You will be sorry.

    My most recent experience with Terminix was very good. It was a new guy because the person who usually did ours had a personal issue and couldn't continue doing the services. But this guy was good. He asked me questions and asked me what I needed to be done. He was respectful. I would like to use him again when I sign up again.

    I had some kind of a bug that I had never had before. Throughout the whole process, Bob, who was my tech kept treating it and doing whatever he had to do. He was really very good. I had recommended him to my sister in Howell. After numerous times, the problem seems to have subsided. They even collected some of the bugs and sent them out someplace where they had to try to figure out what they were. They did the inside and he went into my bathroom's plumbing and sprayed around it, sprayed on the whole house internally and externally, and the window seals on the outside. Everything pretty much stopped in the end of August to the beginning of September because it was a severe thing that I had. I just hope I don't have it again next year. I'm very satisfied with them.

    I've used Terminix for a number of years because we had a termite infestation about five years back at my home property. They came, scoped it out, told us where they saw the tracks, laid down the stuff then, and that worked great. Recently, I had a reinfestation with a different type of termite. The treatment that they did before was for ground termites, and this time, we have flying termites. Terminix came out again, and it was the same guy, Mike. We love him. He's always a really nice guy to talk to and he gets the job done. I haven't seen any more signs of termites. There's a spot on my window where they push out their little droppings, and I haven't had any since Mike came in and did the treatment a couple months ago.

    This last time when Terminix came to do the job, they were good about being able to schedule around my schedule. The time before that, my late husband was home all the time, so it didn't matter when we had them come out, but they always gave us the earliest time that they could. When they come out, they're very professional. They do the job that they're meant to come out and do, and they give me a rundown on exactly what's going on, so I'm up to speed on what they're doing. If I don't understand something, they try and make it so I do understand.

    I'm kind of happy with Terminix, but they hit you over the head at a weak moment. I had a termite problem when I ran some electric lines in my basement. So what do I do? Terminix. It's a common name. I called them and had an elderly gent come out. It was good. However, they're expensive. It cost me $700 for the first visit just to come which was a lot of money. The first year, it was $145 a month. That's a lot of money. And that's for those termite stations that they put in and they come once or twice a year just to look at them. So, I rent the termite stations. Now it's at $91 and change a month. They take advantage of us a bit. I thought some of those costs were prohibitive. But the service that they've been giving me from time to time, they come every three months and they would spray inside my house for bugs.     They come to my home to do my termite inspections. I usually try to schedule the service online and they send notifications to let me know when it's time. It's easy. They keep termites away. Their service is terrific but they could use some help with their billing processes. I had a billing issue with them several years ago. It was a very painful ordeal. They did not document properly where I told them to send the bill to. Then they turned me over to collections without using the information that I had provided. So I had no way of knowing that there was a bill out there because they didn't send it correctly. When I called about it, the representative was less than helpful. Initially, I had to call the local Terminix division, and they were very helpful and got me where I needed to go. They almost ruined my credit by doing it. But we have overcome that.

    Terminix comes quarterly. I have a pest control and termite contracts with them. They send me a notice a week out, telling me they're gonna be at my home on a certain date. They tell me they'll be getting back with me a time, and sometimes they give me a window. They text me what their findings are when they're there or ask me if I need any other services when they're coming on site.

    The experience is good as long as you can keep your communication clear. Last time, I had ants inside the house but during the drought. The agent was supposed to come inside and check for ants, but they didn't do it. We had a miscommunication. Sometimes when it gets close to the time for them to come back, I start seeing things pop up. Also, they're always trying to sell something new like the mosquito coverage in the summer. I'm not that happy with that. If there's anything new that pops up, they start putting out this marketing campaign to try to add more services. They're already expensive enough and the pricing seems to be increasing every year. But generally, I've been very pleased with the service.

    I have a Terminix pest control policy that's every three months. In the summer, I have the mosquito service. I have a termite policy too. It's expensive but as long as they keep my price at the $87 and some odd cents for the pest control, it's good. I had a really good technician but he left Terminix. That period in between was not good. They just tell you when they're coming but they never let you know. You're supposed to just welcome them and I don't like that.     The gentleman is the same guy who comes each time. He texts me before he is on his way and then, when he's here. If I'm home, he'll ring the doorbell and let me know that he's gonna get started. He sprays and is done in 15 minutes. But I have to always tell him to make sure that he cleans the eaves around the house. Then, I would ask him to change the traps out. I have to direct him on what to do but it's fine. He’s a nice kid but he is always on his cellphone the entire visit. He has the earbud in his ear and he's always talking to someone. It's fine because when he's out there on his own, I don't care if he's talking to someone. But as a courtesy, when you approach the house that you're going to do, at least be off the phone. Even when he interacts with me, he tells them to hold on and they're on the line while he talks to me, and then he goes back to talking to them again. From a customer service perspective, it's not a good look.

    The guy is nice enough and does what he needs to do. It's just that lack of total attention when you're there to make sure that you're addressing everything. If I tell him to do something, he'll do it. But it shouldn't be me. It should be him saying what he’s gonna do and what he has done. Usually, when he's done with the service, even when I'm home, he doesn't come back to say he is finished and what he found. He just leaves the paper in the door and goes.

    I've had to call Terminix maybe twice early on to come back when the eaves weren't clean and they did the spray when I wasn't here. I came back and there were spider webs around the house. I’m not paying that much so that they don't clean the webs that are around the house. I'm having activity again and I don't know if that was because of the service or if it's just a tougher season, but I'm still finding spiders in certain areas of my house. And I found two little mice in the entrance of the garage, which grossed me out. I haven't had mice. So, I'm gonna have to call Terminix back today. But the product is good and does its job when it's applied properly. Terminix could be more transparent upfront with the cost of their services though. By the time the guy comes out and does an inspection, they shock you when they say it’s gonna be $2,900 if I wanna get rid of rodents. They’re expensive.

    It isn't enough to just be nice and professional to get a customer. You have to do the things to keep customers for the long haul, get excellent reviews and have those customers recommend your company/service to others. I decided to go with Terminix because of the name and felt it was a reputable, trustworthy company that would do right by my elderly mother. Things went downhill during the second quarterly visit. When the tech sprayed the outside of the home but when my mother asked him if he was doing the inside, he told her that Terminix doesn't spray inside the houses anymore. When I called customer service, they said all techs spray both inside and out at each quarterly visit. Customer service told me that the local manager will be reaching out to us and we can schedule an indoor spray then.

    There was also an issue with the Terminix baits. One in the backyard was coming out loose and one in the front yard was hit by the lawnmower. I was told at the presentation that if the baits become damaged, per the agreement, we are to call and a tech will come out and replace them. If you don't contact Terminix when the baits are damaged the insurance is voided. We have been asking for these to be replaced for months and no one has come out to replace them, I have called corporate and customer service a few times with these issues and was told that Travis, the manager for Terminix in the Ocala area would be calling either myself or my mother and he's never contacted either of us. We're just disappointed in the lack of professionalism and how we were ignored repeatedly. If someone in management would have communicated with us, this all could have been resolved. We have no trust in Terminix and no longer want their services.

    Terminix comes once every three months. But they try to text me and I don't do texting. Sometimes the message doesn't get to us and they just show up. Our main issue has been spiders that are just all over the place. Terminix takes care of roaches really well but spiders seem difficult to get rid of. They go around dusting all the things and destroying the webs. When they do treatment, it helps. The spiders don't disappear completely but activity is downgraded very much so. Lately, our tech has been a nice young man. He is very thorough, friendly and pleasant.

    But their service for termites is bad. They put the baits out and they got out of date and didn't even bother to change ours. Plus, the techs who came weren't even sure how to find termites. Other than that, we're pleased with their roach control service.

    Terminix helps me with termites. I'm on automatic scheduling with them. They call and let me know when they're here. They go out and do what they're supposed to and that takes care of stuff. They inspect the house then they clean under the eaves. They let me know when they're leaving and I go in and check it out. They're fine. I've got everything done for the year.

    We had a massive treatment with Terminix, and there was a schedule conflict that I wasn't happy about. My schedule was wide open to book this, and it was supposed to be two days in a row because it was a big project and we had to leave the house. I was told it was gonna be booked two consecutive days, but when the tech got to my house, he was booked for a Wednesday, and he said he wasn't booked to come back until the following Friday. I said, "Oh, we can't do that. I have little kids, it's difficult for us to get out of the house." He was able to reach out to his boss and they switched it, but for the price of the service, it was annoying to me. The tech was great though. He was very nice and professional.

    Terminix had to remove all of our insulation and clean, sanitize, and plug up holes, and they replaced the insulation as well. The treatment ended up having a third day, because they had to come back and remove the floorboards that they forgot to remove during the two days, and then we're gonna replace them ourselves. The package we bought was very expensive, so I was annoyed that it exceeded the two days. They also had to remove ceiling boards in our basement, and they did a great job. However, we were told they're gonna cover up our stuff, but there was a lot of mice droppings on my things after they did it. I have a feeling that they didn't cover up my basement stuff. The next time they come over, I'm gonna mention it.

    I have had good experiences with Terminix. Have a favorite guy I like and he knows the quirks of the house in the ground. I'm very happy with him. He knows what to look for before it gets too bad and he finds little things that I haven't noticed. I appreciate that. Every three months, they come out. At first, most of my problem was inside. There were some mice hanging around, so we took care of those. Outside, we had a tree that was infected and we've had moles, but there's not much you can do with those. But it's watching the wasp nests and things like that that is comforting to know that, when I open my garden shed, there will not be a group of very angry, busy whatever flying out. However, their price keeps going up. I wish there was a senior discount of some kind.

    Terminix comes every three months. They'll send me a text normally a week before they come. They take care of my kitchen and anything in the back of the house. Unfortunately, the kitchen is the worst area. It's absolutely horrid. They really can't do what they need to do 100% of the way because we're still remodeling our house from the hurricane. So, anything that they could do for me, they've been unable to do as much as they’d like. They’ve just been helping me control the problem. They sprayed and left some baits. As far as the exterior, they've been spraying around the house and knocking off any kind of wasp nest and things like that.     I had a termite issue and the tech from Terminix spent a couple of hours here doing the inspecting and I was appreciative because the other company I had barely glanced at it and wasn't really helping me with it. But the Terminix guy took his time, looked at everything, and answered all my questions. I got both termites covered and bonded now, then I ended up doing exclusion for rodents. And I ended up switching my regular pest control to them. The techs who come out would change but they're all very friendly guys. So far, the service has been working good. Usually, they do the outside, but they said if we need work on the inside, just to let them know. So, if we have any little bug inside, they come and do the inside. Their price is also good comparatively.

    We used to have a different service that was local but they went out of business and I decided to call Terminix because they're the only service that was available that I was aware of. We used to have a tree out front that had termites in it so we've always had this fear that we would have termites in the house. And we have seen some before. So, we wanted to make sure that we kept being serviced, even though it was years later.

    The techs let you know they're coming. They arrange a date, someone comes, work around the place and report before they leave. The cost is just fine. It's probably more than we were paying before but Terminix is also a larger company and we recognize that. I recommended it to one of my workplaces because they had some issues so they called Terminix and got taken care of quickly. The only thing that would be nice is if the bill would be more strongly labeled. I got an envelope from them and didn't realize that it was a bill. So, I paid it rather late. I thought it was just an advertisement.

    I had Terminix (my current extermination contractor come do an inspection for suspected bats in my attic). The company sent their so called 'inspector' to my home for the inspection. The inspector did not even enter the attic space, and claimed that he could smell the bats from the attic opening. He gave me an enormous quote for the removal and said as a valued customer I was receiving a giant discount for the work. I was very concerned but wanted to make sure that I was getting a fair deal so, the following day I had another contractor come over and do the same inspection.

    The second contractor sat with me prior to the inspection and explained to me what bats can do to a home and to people residing in the home, which I completely appreciated. They then proceeded to perform a very thorough and went into the attic for a very close look at the situation. He found no traces of bats and let me know that there is nothing that needs to be done at this time.

    The Terminix inspector reached back out to me this morning to ask to see if I was able to get another inspector out to my home. I let him know what happened and how displeased I was with Terminix in general. I am planning to report this on the Terminix site, Yelp, and Google, and possibly the BBB so others will be aware. In addition, I will likely be changing extermination companies when my current contract expires.

    We pretty well like Terminix for our termite service in the summertime. It seems to work effectively and safely. Everything they do is outside, and it's all around mosquito control. They're very good. But if I'm dealing with Terminix at some outsourced call center, I never seem to get my need or my point across. It seems very much like someone is reading from a script. If I'm dealing locally with my call center within the States, it's very good. But I don't like that central command place that I call. The local crew is responsive. They understand what I'm asking for or talking about. They really resolve things very quickly. One of the guys that I had was wonderful. He always gives me good options.

    Terminix is a mystery to us. The ones that come out do a good job. But I don't know what we signed up for. Nobody would tell us. We get all these odd charges on our thing and it would say that somebody came. We couldn't get ahold of the local office guy. There's no communication. One bill is $1,000. The next bill is double-charged to our card. I hate that they took our card number and that we don't get a bill every time. I'd rather pay a bill. It is the biggest mess. They gave us one credit. And I asked Charles, who's nice, “Is this a part of the $1,200 charge we've just paid for termite something or others?” He said, “I don't know anything about that.” And it wasn't. There was another $200 on when he left. So, we're giving up the minute they stop coming.

    The two that come are very nice guys. One said, “I'm calling him now to tell him to call you.” And he would go home. I could text him because he texted me to say he was coming. I said, “I never got a phone call.” He said, “I don't believe it. I'm calling him again.” We never heard. So, we've had it with them. We tried to get Edward to come back. He said, “Call any time.” Because we couldn't stand on our front doorstep without getting bitten by mosquitoes. We called him to ask if he could come back. I texted him and he said he was about to have surgery and I needed to call the office.

    If somebody is coming to do mosquitoes, we'd love it. We went for a redo. There's a newsletter that goes out on our computers in this neighborhood. My husband wrote, “Has anybody else had trouble with Terminix? And who do you use?” So, we got a list of people we're gonna use, or the one that’s at the top of the list. So, we know where we're going. We're just waiting for Terminix to get out of our lives.

    The experience with Dylan, and as a whole with Terminix, have been pleasurable. I can call Terminix whenever it's needed. If I see a couple of outside ants or spiders, I can call my tech, he would get back on the book. He's very professional. He made sure he did his shoe covers before he would come in. He told me that he was using a different formula. So, each time he came back, he would try a different formula to keep the carpenter ants from recurring. And usually, anything that I asked him, "Just take it outside. Just keep the perimeters of the house," he does whatever is needed. If I say go, he would say, "Okay."

    We've been Terminix customers for a long time. But we have problems with the pest control. The tech told me one thing, but someone told me something else. The guy came, and we asked about some bait boxes for mice. First, he told us they had them but they were on backorder. Then he said, "They wouldn't give them to you unless you pay $50 for each one of them." He lied. And his boss told us that they would just cancel us. I tried to reach someone in the big office, but no one returned my call. Also, the first time my other guy came, he did a half job and we had to keep calling him back. I was gonna cancel my termite service too but I haven't because I like that. They're good. They come when they're supposed to check the termites. They let us know they were coming and let us know what they saw.

    Terminix is a popular company. When you have termites or roaches, you call Terminix. My experience has been okay. I feel like it depends on the person coming to our house. Some people will come, and they will say different things. The next person will come and say the totally opposite thing. So, I wish they were a little bit more consistent but in general, they've been fine. When I first started to get treatment for the roaches, I spoke to the person on the phone, and they were like, “Okay. Clear out your cabinets. If you don't clear out your cabinets, they won't spray in there.” I did that.

    For the second treatment, I cleared them out too, and the guy didn't spray in the cabinets. He said, “Oh, we don't do that.” I was like, “Yes, you do.” I called to complain and they sent someone out the next week to spray the cabinets. It takes a long time to get my cabinets all cleared out. So, it was annoying to do all that and then they don't spray it. They rectified it though. Since they've been doing the treatments, I noticed an improvement. It's a long process with the roaches because they multiply so much. They lay eggs but there's a huge improvement from when we first started until now. The service is working.

    Terminix, I'm absolutely appalled by the unethical practices and lack of integrity that have defined my experience with your company. My journey with Terminix has been nothing short of a nightmare, marked by a salesman's deceptive tactics, false promises, and a corporate structure that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. My ordeal began when one of your salesmen came knocking on my door, armed with a web of deceit. This individual's shameless manipulation was astonishing. He used the existence of wood rot due to water damage in my home as "evidence" of a termite infestation, all the while conveniently omitting essential details and overinflating the severity of the situation. This was a blatant attempt to scare me into signing a contract, and it worked.

    The deceit didn't end there. The salesman assured me that a simple $100 cancellation fee would apply if I ever wanted to terminate the contract, a promise that turned out to be a gross distortion of the truth. When I eventually decided to cancel the contract after hiring a contractor to repair the wood damage which found NO EVIDENCE of termites, I was shocked to discover that the actual cancellation fee was over $900! This massive difference is a testament to the salesman's dishonesty and a clear indication of the lack of transparency within your company. Furthermore, the salesman also promised that a service member would come to check the bait stations for termites after one month. Surprise, surprise! That never happened either. This is just one more instance of your company's fraudulent practices, as it's evident that customer satisfaction takes a back seat to your sales targets.

    When I couldn't bear the weight of this unethical contract any longer, I reached out to Terminix's corporate office to file a formal complaint. The ordeal that followed was nothing short of Kafkaesque. It took nearly two months for your company to finally return my call, despite my bi-weekly attempts to seek resolution. And when they did respond, it was to coldly inform me that they would honor the contract that had been sold under fraudulent pretenses!

    Terminix, your actions are a disgrace. You have demonstrated a shocking willingness to deceive and exploit your customers for financial gain. The fact that your corporate office would refuse to acknowledge the unethical behavior of your salesman and uphold a contract that was clearly misrepresented is beyond reprehensible. To anyone considering Terminix for pest control services, I strongly advise against it. This company has shown a complete lack of integrity, and their corporate indifference to customer complaints is nothing short of a betrayal. Terminix, you should be ashamed of your unethical practices, and I will make it my mission to ensure that others are aware of the deceitful tactics you employ.

    Terminix is very difficult to get in touch with by telephone, so I went up in person and I just told them I had some issues. They gave me the plan I wanted and took care of my problem. They put termite traps on the ground around the house. They also spray the house quarterly. If I see any pest activity, I can call them and they take care of it right then. Since having the service, pest activity is almost non-existent. Having Terminix gives me peace of mind.
