It would be nice if management would return phones. It is very frustrating to have to call multiple times to get help or information. Terminix use to be a lot better but in the last several months their customer service had declined greatly.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize about your experience with your service! We appreciate your feedback and would like to make things right.

Terminix sent a bill for services not provided. I contacted them on several occasions requesting a date of service and copy of signature for service. No one could provide either. The local manager called and spoke with my son and agreed that no service had been provided due to lack of access (locked gates). I assumed this had been resolved at this point. Now, this bill for $85.60 has shown up on my credit report! I will be contacting an attorney about this. I will not be forced to pay for a service not provided.

The experience with Terminix has been good. I've always tried to have my house sprayed at least once a month, and scheduling for the service is not that difficult at all. The new manager has come by to inspect our property and had immediately said that he would have our policy, that was previously canceled, reinstated. The local Terminix office said the policy was canceled due to non-payment. I told him that the policy was not paid because we were still waiting for someone to do the annual inspection.
Although we received an email saying that the property was inspected, no one came out. We would have had to be notified to gain entry to the property. This manager's common sense approach and belief that efforts to help the customer helps the company is appreciated. It is sad that workers maintain "the customer is a problem" mentality, that makes customers find another company. This is what makes managers valuable to a successful operation.

We signed on to Terminix's termite plan in 2003 after initially having our houses fumigated. Each year we were sent an invoice to keep the Termite plan in effect. An annual inspection is scheduled every year when the billing is sent out. The invoice is sent out about February-March and the inspections is usually done by April or sometimes May. Years back we got the invoice, paid the bill and no inspection after several months and several calls. When the inspector finally came out they said "don't pay the bill until they come out to inspect". This year, we got the invoice about the same time as every year. We received a call in May stating that someone is going to come out to inspect for termites. No one came. We called and the office said they would send someone out. We waited and several months went by and just recently found out the policy was canceled. Upon finding out the policy was canceled, I called and was passed to the local office in Maui.
Renee admitted they had a work order showing the property had been inspected, but also admitted that they cannot show anyone came out. I explained that I have been with this program a long time and was advised by their own personnel that I should pay the bill after it gets inspected due to some internal conflicts. I asked her if someone could just come out to do the inspection and we could pay the bill. She said we can have as many inspections as we want 5, 6 or more. I told her that someone usually comes out about April May and the invoice gets paid.
She was argumentative and said that it was too late for that. I asked to speak to her boss. She told she would notify him and hung up. I got her email address and tried to send the information to her, but the email was rejected. I am told that this Terminix location is going through its 11th manager. So it seems this is an easy way to collect premiums each year and then dodge having to honor the policy when the presence of termites reoccur.
We’re sorry to hear about your recent experience with Terminix! We value your feedback. According to our records your account was reinstated 10/19/2015.

I've dealt with a pest problem for years. I transferred my Terminix service from Hawaii to Texas to Virginia. The representatives are friendly and flexible with what my timing issues were. My biggest concern is that they just send an automated voice message letting me know a day or two in advance that they're coming out, which I really don't like. I have to go through a big phone tree to get to somebody and it's pretty inconvenient. So sometimes I have to cancel the service or reschedule because it's such a short notice.
The technicians are friendly and they do their job. They go around and spray their stuff and explain what's going on. I show them wherever the ants or insects and they try to get rid of them. They've taken care of the pest activity in my home. Back when I was in Texas, the spiders kept coming in. They needed to do something about the spiders. They did a good job in Texas and in Virginia. I haven't seen any ants since the day they left and the day afterwards. But in Texas, the fire ants just kept moving their ant nest around the yard. It's hard for them to take care of the fire ants.

I have a one year contract with Terminix. My house was full of wasps. After waiting for 4 days for someone to come out, the problem was still not resolved 2 days after treatment. Now I have to wait another 6 days for someone to come out and respray. Customer service was horrible. Not a single person I talk to cared in the least about the problem. In fact one woman was just downright rude. I was told numerous times branch manager would contact me to schedule an earlier appointment and he never did. In the meantime I've been stung by a wasp and I'm praying that my 8 year old daughter will not be because I don't know how she will react. Terminix did some spraying and I'm considering doing some insulation and termite treatment. The scheduling process was fine. I pay, they call and tell when they're coming or I can go by there if I need extra service, and they're always telling me exactly when they'd be there. I'm comfortable with them. They've been doing it for a while. I tell Bernard, the guy that they send, if we have any special places that might need special attention and he goes after that every time. If you have a lot of dry weather you might have some extra activity trying to come in or seasonal type stuff and if I see that I go by there and they may do an extra or tighten up my program a little bit.

Scheduling my service with Terminix was terrible. I called and they had set me up on a time, and I waited for the person to show up. I called them back, and they rescheduled me for that evening. Somebody else was supposed to come out, and they made it look like they couldn’t find my name. Then, the young man called back and scheduled for the next day, and I told him I’m scheduling the stuff on my days off so I could be there. They finally got me, and I went on ahead and signed up because I knew the young man that came out since I used to work with him years ago. I don't know when they came out and done whatever they're supposed to do, but they said they did. However, I really thought of trying to find somebody else, and it was a bad experience with the company.

Scheduling a service has been fine. Terminix had someone come out and pick up a mouse trap that had been left here because the other technician was supposed to pick it up and they never did. Someone else came out and picked it up. He was a really nice guy and seemed to know what he was doing. I would like to stick with the same person. I really liked him.
We had some issues because the first person that came out according to everyone else, sprayed too much and wasted the product. I had another guy come out who apparently, while he was doing his job, dripped all over my house, all over my floor and everything. I have three boys, 1, 4 and 7. The 1-year-old crawls everywhere so that was a little unnerving. I guess he's not working there anymore. But the last guy that came out was probably the best one of all and he was really sweet. So if we could have him every time, that would be great. So I've had an interesting experience. That's the service that we paid for and I want it to be done correctly everytime from here on out and not have any other issues.

Please please please whoever reads this do not use Terminix. First we paid almost a grand for a small two bedroom house to get rid of the bed bug problem. A day after they sprayed there was a bed bug on me I found and put in a bottle to show the guy but the guy said "No. It takes a couple days for them to die so you will see them still." After the month warranty was up they didn't care. They collected their money. It seriously would be cheaper just to get rid of the furniture. Here we are now already paid a grand and still are in the same position we were at before. Terminix is a horrible company. Don't use them!!!

I have used Terminix for about 5 years now. For the first few years we had no problems with them. The guy who treated our property was very nice and helpful. We did always need to call before the 90 days was up but he would come treat the yard and the problem would be resolved. That changed a couple of years ago. We started having to constantly call for extra treatments and would find pests only days after a treatment. It just didn't seem to be working as well. The employee who treated my yard for years always put some type of pellets or something in my lawn that would help kill bugs when we watered the lawn. No one does that anymore and we always have problems with ants etc. in the grass.
Now we are having a serious tick problem. We have had the yard sprayed 3 times now and the house treated twice. Both times the house was treated it only took a couple of days before we would end up finding a tick. Today the yard was sprayed for the third time and I noticed he only sprayed certain areas. I asked him to spray everywhere but he didn't. I'm thinking that has to be part of the problem. How can we be tick free if the yard is only getting spot treated? Why do they guarantee me that the ticks will be gone each time and they never are?
The employees who come to spray are always very nice but I'm done believing them that they can solve the problem. This has been going on for a month now. This isn't okay. Ticks are disgusting. The yard is so bad that even on Frontline plus my dogs get ticks on them. The yard has to be controlled. This is a health hazard. I'm not sure why the service used to be good and now is no longer effective. We have decided to cancel the service and use someone else.
Wendy, We’re sorry to hear about your recent experience. We sincerely apologize and would like to make it up to you. Our team will contact you privately to begin resolving your issue.

When I called Terminix to schedule the service, it took them three days to get here but that was fine. The gentleman and the supervisor who came were all very nice and pleasant. They explained everything to me in English so I could understand it. They put paste all over the house, sprayed outside and did the inspection. This last week the technician came back because we had little roaches. So, he completely sprayed the house and I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm still seeing roaches but they're mostly belly out now. Overall, my experience with Terminix was very good.

He was good-natured, very motivated, kind and he was very thorough with us. He showed us everything that he was doing, explained to us what he was doing inside and out. He was very friendly, very personable and very trustworthy. My mother and I were both very satisfied with him. After they did the job, it's been pretty good.

On SEPT 10th, Terminix was to tent my home, deck, garage and studio between 3-5PM. They finally showed up at 8PM only after I called and asked for a status. I gave specific instructions to lock all doors and driveway gate when done because a neighbor was burglarized the same day (they were having their tent removed as ours was going up). The crew left my driveway gate entirely open, did NOT lock the front door, garage, or studio door. I called our local police department and asked if a patrol unit can circle the area. The police kindly obliged and luckily, our home was not burglarized.
After carefully double bagging and packing food and even toiletries in the bags provided, the Terminix crew decided to remove packed items from the refrigerator and put them in the garage refrigerator which is substantially smaller. Since the items did not fit, the crew used masking tape to close the freezer which after (3) days of being cracked open, condensation leaked everywhere leaving puddles of water, water damage to cabinets and boxes nearby and all food items needed to be tossed out.
When removing the tent over the house and deck, the reckless crew pulled the tent so abruptly that all patio furniture was tossed, scratched, and flipped upside down. The pergola we professionally had installed and bolted to our deck was also scratched and loosened as a result of the crew's lack of care for our property.
Since our less than capable Terminix representative that inspected our home neglected to note that the garage is adjacent to our neighbor's wall, he failed to get the neighbor's written consent allowing the crew access to their property. When a crew member knocked on the neighbors door at nearly 9PM in the evening asking if they can enter their backyard to drop the tent - our neighbors declined, and rightfully so. Without advance notice from Terminix or at least a courtesy call from us, and after hearing that another neighbor's home was burglarized that day, why would they want anyone on their property? Therefore, Terminix still charged us to tent the garage and studio even though the job was not completed.
I immediately called Terminix to advise them of the property damages incurred and that only half of the contracted job had been completed. I received no response for over 2 weeks. Another local representative came to our home to review the property damage and assured us restitution. On the 3rd week, another crew finally came out to tent the garage and studio. When the tent was removed, they broke our garage flood lights. I've called Terminix 10-12 times and have spoken with the local office, liaison specialist, executive services, and corporate headquarters. I have yet to find any sort of resolution. Instead, I keep getting passed along to another useless representative who assures me someone will contact me 48 hours. It's been 5 weeks.
I strongly urge future customers to use another vendor. Terminix has provided horrible customer service. Save your money, avoid the property damage and frustration, go with someone else.

Terminix signed me up for a quarterly service without my knowledge. Terminix claims I signed on some paper (haven't got the copy from them yet). Even if I did, then they got it by lying to me about subscription since I wanted and asked for one time service only. After the horrible pest control service, Terminix provided back in July and paying them $99. I had to go to Costco, bought chemicals and did the job myself. Now I got another invoice bill from Terminix for $99 claiming they provided exterior pest control service on September 30. None of my household saw the technician. No one can get into my backyard without our knowledge since it is locked. There was not any note on my door to indicate service was provided. No one called us, and we learned about so called service and subscription only when we got the new $99 invoice.

We signed our paperwork electronically in August after our inspection in July. We had emailed our salesperson's Terminix email account multiple times with no answer. Finally he touched base with us after we called the main Terminix number. He said that his work email wasn't working and asked that we use his personal gmail account.
On 9/12, Don ** came to the house. He put stickers in the house. He told us that he did not have his auger (four people are sharing one auger according to him) so he could not put in the green stations (I asked if there were other colors - and was told there are not). He said that he would be back within a week. I called Terminix on 10/10 - a month later - and the service representative said that it was strange that the stations hadn't been installed and she would send someone on Monday to do the job.
On Monday, that technician called me to tell me that he was running late for my inspection. I explained that I did not need an inspection - I had just had one of those. I needed the green stations. He said that I would have to wait and see if I got the stations after his inspection (Argh!) - He then sent me an email after his inspection (still don't have the green stations) telling me that I was eligible for the inspection plan. I KNEW THAT ALREADY - I needed the green stations. That was why I had called Terminix!
I called again and was told to contact my salesperson because he should never have told me that I was going to get the green bait stations - but I specifically said that was what I wanted when he came to our house the very first time in July. I tried again to reach Don to no avail. I told him that without the green stations - I'd need to cancel immediately. I called to cancel tonight and had to leave a message. I have told my credit card company to dispute the 2nd payment that I made without getting any service. This is ridiculous.

We were selling our home and it was in escrow. We required an escrow clearance, so I called Terminix. I have had a home termite warranty with them for the five years I have owned the home. The inspector came out on June 16th and inspected my home. He found an area on a patio cover beam where he suspected live termites were inside. He poked it with his pen and the wood caved in and he reported to my wife that there were live termites and that it would have to be reinspected.
When I spoke to him on the phone he said that insects poured out of it when he was inspecting it. Weeks went by and I did not receive a report. I called several times and waited on hold for 20-40 minutes at times. They always said they would call my local office and they would get back to me. They never did. I finally just drove into the local branch and spoke with a manager. I told him I needed my report. He said that it looked like the whole house needed to be fumigated and that repairs would need to be made. I told him that I was closing escrow soon and needed the repairs to be honored by the warranty. He said that there is no way he would be able to repair the house within the next 30 days; that they were way too busy. He also said that he needed to go back to inspect the property himself to make sure that it really was infested. He said it would be a couple weeks or so before he could do that.
After begging him, he said he would come back in just two days! After he came back, again it was this non stop calling them to get the termite report. After an entire week of calling, I received a report. The report noted termite damage in writing where the original inspector showed my wife and I, but on the home drawing on the report, they called it fungus. It was obvious the damage was not fungus. After arguing that point, he changed his story and said that there were no *live* termites, so they would not honor the warranty but did say all the noted damage would have to be repaired in order to receive an escrow clearance. Because their refusal to repair the house, I opted to have it repaired by a licensed contractor at a cost of $1900.
I have called them recently and the manager called me back and said he would talk to the inspector. They never called me back. I just want to be reimbursed for the repair I had to pay for, which my warranty should have covered. I used Terminix for other services like ant and spider pest control and the service was always great, but I am so terribly disappointed with the way they have treated me when I counted on them to honor their warranty.

He vacuumed the back of the headboard, said it was very minor, sprayed it & pushed it back against the wall. THAT'S IT!!! NEVER LOOKED AT THE OTHER ROOMS, NOTHING. HE NEVER EVEN LOOKED ANYWHERE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM ITSELF. My contract stated that I have a 5-day follow-up appointment scheduled on 05-4-2015 that of course no one showed up for!!! I called and called and called the sterling location, left messages, no one called me back, no one came back for the 5-day follow-up appointment NOR the 30-day follow-up appointment per the agreement terms stated on the contract given to me by Mr. **. Called customer service, was on hold for 48 mins, got transferred 3x times then got hung up on!
He made several comments about how we went above and beyond to prepare for the treatment and how clean we keep our home. NOW I didn't get the rapid freeze treatment that I was I supposed//told and signed/paid to be getting. Never had scheduled follow-up appointment on 5/4 per agreement. Treatment didn't work because ended up with bed bugs AGAIN. Have $850 BILL IN COLLECTIONS. CAN'T SEEM TO FIND SOMEONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS IN THIS COMPANY! Tried to reach out the resolution department, was told I need to speak with the sterling location manager which is Gregg ** (that signed me up), how crazy is this!!!

Recently, Terminix sent a nice gentleman who was efficient at his job. We told him where the problem was and he took care of it. I haven't had it sprayed as good as I should because I'm on a budget and I haven't been able to have them come back out too when they should have since I can't pay for it right now. But I have a contract with them, so we're working together on that. Overall, it's been a beautiful experience with Terminix. They've been good people and it has all gone very well. They've sent people who are well educated on how to get rid of the pests. They knew what they were doing and were very efficient. The scheduling of service was very easy too.

I had a good experience with Terminix. There was no problem scheduling our service. I called and let them know what the problem was, and they're right out there. The lady technician they sent was awesome. She's very thorough, nice, well-mannered, committed to her job and very good at what she does, she didn't miss anything. I haven't had any problems with pest activity since the service and I've already recommended them to a couple of people.

Terminix service is always good, they're always prompt. They usually call me and tell me when they're coming. In the last service, he came to the door, he asked me do I need any service inside the house and I told him, no, I just wanted him to take care of the perimeter of the backyard and I wanted him to medicate, I guess that's not a good word, but I wanted him to look for ants and service any ants and stuff and it's always good. I will recommend them to a friend. Overall, they're prompt, knowledgeable and effective.

Be aware: I feel like I've been scammed since day 1. First, I went against my better judgment when I chose to ignore some negative feedback from other Terminix consumers online (big mistake!!!). The initial scheduling was a nightmare, no call backs, to promise to call back and then a technician showing up at my door unannounced the day before my wedding. Desperate to rid my home of these pesty bedbugs after the honeymoon, we gave Terminix a try attributing the previous scheduling horror to holiday craziness (we initially contacted them around July 4th holiday).
I've had 4 treatments since 7/24/15 with the technician only showing up on time within his scheduled time slots only once. On 3 occasions he rushed through my home after getting there late so quickly that I thought he was on a timer. He was in and out within 15 minutes (treating a 3 bedroom apt.). Then the last visit he acted surprised to still see activity after I complained to management. I had a bed bug follow-up service appointment scheduled for today 10/7/2015 from 1pm-3pm. Technician was a No Show and No Call!!! It is now near the end of my 90 day service, I refuse to accept this treatment.
I've been consistently contacting the office due to the handling of my service since 7/24/2015, I am completely frustrated with poor service. I'm continuing to experience bed bug activity and I'm not satisfied with the $1200.00 bed bug treatment service thus far. I would like adequate treatment to resolve this issue or a full refund due to lack of inability to deliver contracted service promised.

After discovering a small amount of bed bug activity in one of our kids bedrooms we did research and decided to call Terminix. They quickly sent out a Senior Field Inspector who confirmed that's what they were, and then sold us a written contract that described the very thorough treatment that included disassembling the frames and RapidFreezing them to kill all the bugs. We had our initial treatment Sept 16 and continued to have live activity every day after. They were notified of this and came to retreat 10 days later. We showed the technician all the bugs where we had dated and labeled what we had found so he retreated and left. We still noticed activity in the one bed after so he came back the following week to retreat and found adult live bugs while he was there.
He simply swept them up with a vacuum sprayed a bit with a pump sprayer and left saying he could only give us "the best treatment he could for the time he was scheduled". An hour later I tore the bed down and found piles of eggs in the joints of the bed. I contacted Terminix and e-mailed photos. It took 3 days and multiple phone calls from my end before Jason the service manager called me back. He informed me that they never disassemble the beds for treatment. But after I informed him it is in writing in their contract that they would, he agreed to bring tools to do it and be there at 10am the next morning. At 9am the next morning Jason called me to inform me that his boss was refusing to allow him to disassemble the frame so they would be refunding my money and again kept repeating that even though it is written into the contract that they will perform this service it is something that they never do.
I called executive services to inform them that I was sold a contract for a service that the branch admittedly never completes and that this was blatant fraud. But they said even though the branches are owned by corporate and all employees are corporate employees they cannot force a branch to honor the contract. It is my personal opinion that fulfilling these contract that are being sold is not in the best business interest for Terminix. As by not disassembling the frames as they are contractually obligated to do, there is a good likelihood that eggs will be missed causing the bed bug life cycle to continue which then they can continue to charge to treat.
While my money is supposed to be returned, all the people who purchased contracts that state their bed frames will be disassembled and did not receive this service should be notified. This is a harmful to the consumer financially and to the general public health as people believe they got the proper treatment that they were sold. But by Terminix's own admission nobody received the full treatment they paid for. The whole situation has been very upsetting to our family and it is shameful that a company would act in such a manner.

I have had Terminix for over 10 years for termite protection and early on also used them for an insect issue with good results. I received notice of the annual inspection scheduled for today and went ahead and rearranged my schedule to ensure that they would get to the inside of the house because there's an area in the basement that I wanted looked at. Shortly before the 2 hour window was up I called to get a sense of where the tech was, very polite service agent passes me along to someone else who tries to call this technician and is unable to get him so assures me that his manager was informed and will call me back in 5. 45 minutes later haven't heard from either so I call customer service again and let's just say my hold time was significantly longer as I was passed along again.
Held for another 10 plus minutes only to be told that again no one can get in touch with Jason and his manager is being informed. Really no cellphone, no voicemail. 2015 people, not the dark ages. It's now almost 5 hours outside of the scheduled time and no one has seen fit to contact me, a complete disregard for customer's time and loyalty.

Cancelled their service after they lied to me twice in 4 days. First off their rep promised an initial treatment by the Tuesday that was coming up. Tuesday came around and nothing. Called them about an hour after the promised time to ask. They told me the computer showed I was scheduled for Thursday. I told them the situation was quite serious and I really needed the treatment asap. I explained that I accepted the service because I was promised a Tuesday treatment. They seemed willing to help and assured me someone would be out either later that day or Wednesday. I gave my callback # and they said they'd call me to confirm the rescheduling. No one called and by Wednesday night I called again. Their agent said he didn't see anything on the notes as far as rescheduling. So I went ahead and cancelled the service. Why not just say you can't reschedule? Why pretend like you care about the customer's situation? This was on September 3rd.
To this day I haven't received a refund after they somehow had the "wrong address" on file. So according to them they have sent my refund check to the wrong address 2 times. After the first time they did it, I called and made sure they had the correct address. So today I call again because it's been over a month and they still have the wrong address on file. Apparently whoever I talked to about the correction just "noted" that the address was wrong but never actually changed it. So now I have to wait until the 15th of this month to get a check issued and re-sent. Terrible experience and definitely will avoid in the future.

We were gone from our home several months, only to come home and discover 4 very long hanging mud tubes hanging from 2 of our bedrooms' ceilings. I called to have treatment as we have a multi year contract. We were told that it would take several weeks to get an inspection, and it was only then that a follow up treatment would be scheduled. Who knows how many weeks THAT will take. Apparently there is no concern on the part of Terminix that these tubes break off and live termites and the sand/saliva mix end up on our beds. Sleeping under these tubes is not pleasant, and it seems that we signed a worthless contract. We could call another company to deal with this immediately, but since Terminix has already been paid, we don't want to pay twice for service. But then, no service, is NO SERVICE, so maybe I need to hire someone else?

On Sunday 8/23, I noticed what to be one of my worst nightmares - a bed bug scurrying across a bed in my home. After calling a few pest control companies, Terminix was the one that could come out the soonest to assess the situation and advise us of our options. In a panic, we signed an agreement totaling $1,800 to treat our home for bed bugs. The salesman gave us his thorough explanation of how to prepare for the treatment, and we did as such the night before our initial Rapid Freeze treatment that took place on Wednesday 8/26. The morning of 8/26, I spoke with the supervisor who scheduled the treatment and followed up on some of the preparation tips we were given from the salesman. He chuckled and said, "Jeff's crazy. I don't know what he's talking about... Don't do that." This was the first big red flag for me.
After the treatment, the technician called and said that the infestation appeared to be confined to one room - that being the master bedroom, and that it was fairly minor in comparison to what he had seen. He made several comments about how we went above and beyond to prepare for the treatment and how clean we keep our home. Through the next week, we continued to see live bed bugs in the master bedroom. We called the supervisor and let him know and in a nonchalant manner told me that that was normal, and that we could schedule a follow-up spray but that we would need to wait another week.
Meanwhile, my parents (whose bedroom has the infestation) have not been able to sleep in their bedroom. We went ahead and scheduled the follow-up spray for Wednesday 9/9. We prepared as normal, and the technician again made comments about the cleanliness of our home. When he called after he finished the spray, he informed me that he again saw light activity in the master bedroom and another live bed bug in my 4 year old daughter's room. Of course, this freaked me out. I had questions. I wanted to know first and foremost - with my parents being terrified to sleep in that bedroom, would the bed bugs migrate in search of hosts to feed on? He said it was very possible, which brought me to my next question... Why do we have to wait two whole weeks in between sprays if we are physically seeing these pests on a daily basis in our home?
I went on to inform him that per their instructions, we vacuum on a daily basis, we dispose of the contents of the vacuum in a grassy area behind our house, we change our clothes before entering our house, we do not have people over PERIOD - our drawers and closets are empty, we each sleep with one pillow and one blanket and regularly send those through the dryer... What else can we do? The technician told us that we were doing everything right, but sometimes it takes several attempts to knock the issue out. He said that if we came up toward the end of our 90 day warranty and we were still seeing bed bugs, to let the salesman know and see about renewing at a reasonable price. Um.. This could take up to 90 days? Renewing at a reasonable price?
We just dished out almost $2000 dollars that we didn't have that could have been spent elsewhere with companies who have rave reviews about their services. (I wish I had done more research before we decided to go with Terminix.) We just had another spray treatment on Friday 9/25, and here we are one week later STILL seeing live activity. Five long weeks our lives have been turned upside down. My father has slept on the couch, my mom sleeps in my bed, and my 4 year old is always asking about why grandma and grandpa can't sleep in their room anymore. Why can't her friends come over to the house? Why do we have to change our clothes and take off our shoes before we enter the house?
I understand that these are precautionary measures that need to be taken, but at this point we are at our wits end with this company. I submitted my concerns directly to their website on Tuesday 9/29 and got a message from the website saying that a representative would contact me shortly... Still haven't heard anything and it's Friday 10/2.
Today, I tried calling the customer service phone number and was put on hold for 26 minutes until I became so irritated with hold music that I finally hung up. I sincerely wish we had spent our money elsewhere, and that we could get out of this contract. Please, do your research on different pest control companies before you utilize Terminix for the treatment of bed bugs. I have had a rodent problem for the last 4 months, I had Terminix come out to treat the problem. For 4 months they have not been able to control the problem. The worse problem is that they make appointments and do not show up. They have been a no show 3 times. I had to take time off from work and they do not show up. They do not call or let you know that they will not be there. I even spoke to the branch Manager, Chris **, who himself made an appointment for an exclusion inspection and assured me that the problem will resolved. As usual, no one turned up. I called them 3 times that day to find out if they are coming over. Every time, they told me that a message has been sent and someone will be in touch with me. Yet there was no call or response. Finally they told me no service was scheduled. As off filing this complaint, no one has had the decency to contact me.
Updated on 11/2/2015: Yes, someone called me after I complained to their Corporate office. They told me I have to buy an exclusion service to get rid of the problem. I got the service on 10/20. When the service team came out they told me that there was no need to fix the outside Crawl Space door or replace 15 Crawl Space Vents. Even though every time, I had an inspector come out, they would tell me that Rodents are going through the crawl space door, and that it has to be fixed.
I had the door fixed, yet they kept saying that it was the entry point and the door had to be replaced. I pressured them into replacing the crawl space door and they agreed to change only 4 of the 18 vents. This too after I called the sales person several time. They refused to do the inspection for the crawl space or attic. In fact they got mad at me and screamed that they will not do any other work on the property. At that point I asked them get off my property.
They did not give me any paper work on what work they performed, or tell me if they had done any other work. I called Terminix and complained, the next day someone by the name of Chris called me and apologized and said that they will finish the work, he also told me that the service men should have given some paper showing what work has been done, like they always do when they come to perform any service. I told them that after the service and treatment I had received from Terminix, I did not feel comfortable and did not want to deal with Terminix ever again.
The next day William called me and tried to convince me that I should give them another opportunity to finish the work, he told me that the two service people had been suspended. He even told me that companies give bad service and that he has worked with fortune 500 companies that provide bad service. This was not the explanation, I was expecting from a Terminix employee.
I told William that there was no proof that any work had been done, other than then the door and the 4 vent covers that i could see, as I did not get any paper work and he told me that they are not supposed to give me anything! I told him that that is not what the manager was saying. When I refused to let them finish the work, he told me that the reason I don’t want Terminix to complete the work is because I do not want to pay them. He also told me what proof does he have that the work has not been done. I told him that he can come over and check the work he can see for himself. And then he told me that they will take me to Arbitration. I did not appreciate this threat.
The most concerning part of this ordeal is that this weekend I noticed that all the Crawl Space vents have been replaced. It seems that someone accessed my backyard without my permission and replaced all 18 of the Vents, even though they were supposed to replace only 15. I am extremely concerned they entered my house through the side and performed the work, without notifying me. They have no right to enter my property without my consent.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. I have escalated this matter to higher management, someone will contact you shortly.

We have taken Terminix service during the month of July 2015. The reason behind taking the service was due to lot of ants seen at my home. First Service was scheduled on 07/10/2015. This service went well. Did not see ant for next two months. Service was quarterly and paid for first quarter. Seen ants again after two months and scheduled another appointment on 9/18/2015. Appointment we got was after two days. Since it was after two days, and also kids are at home, we had to clean the ants ourselves. So when the technician came out for the service, we asked him to do the service we received like the last time, but he refused and was adamant only to take care of the places where we saw the ants. He did the service on all the bathroom sinks and where we saw the ants (at that time there we no ants because we cleaned two days back). We did not receive the service we requested.
After the above bad service, we started seeing ants again after couple of days. We called the Terminix company for another appointment and also mentioned about the service we received. Also requested for a different technician for the service... But they said that is the same service technician designated for our area. We scheduled an appointment for this third service on 9/25/2014 Saturday between 1 PM and 3 PM. Technician did not turned up during that period, hence called the Terminix again to inquire about his arrival. They tried to reach out to technician and the agent on the call said, they will locate the technician via his supervisor and will let us know.
We did not hear back from them and we called them again. At that time they said they couldn't locate the technician and his supervisor. We did couple of calls again to check whether the technician could come and we received the same response back and asked us to re-schedule. One more point I want to add here is that on the third scheduled day, we did see ants again in the pantry area and the bedrooms And was waiting for his arrival. Since they said they couldn't locate him and told us to re-schedule, we had to clean the house ourselves. During this conversation, I told them to cancel the service and return the complete money due to bad services we received and for no show up. They should also understand that we had to clean both times. They said they canceled and from branch office someone will call us to discuss about the billing/cancellation.
One person called from the branch office and again he was defending their side and was not ready to listen or do any adjustment to the service. I mentioned to him that he is calling to just say that the service was good (which we/customer have to say) and cannot refund any money. We are really frustrated with the service and similar trouble was also faced my other friend staying nearby.

I was on hold for 40 minutes (my phone measures the length of the call) and had to listen to a 20 second new age jazz background repeat over and over and over. Someone else finally picked up and said they would have the technician call me. I left my cell number. Now it's 8:30 at night and nobody called. That's funny because I was home and no one knocked and you cannot access the rear of the house except thru the small front doorway. Did he treat the front door and leave? So, I call and each time I call it's a minimum of 3 different representatives. I must speak with and a minimum of 18 minutes on hold to get nothing resolved other than "a manager will review the case". I bought my first home in February and had Terminix come out and fumigate because we had spiders and ants. The product never really got rid of my pest problem totally, I would ALWAYS find spiders, wasps, ants and even a rat outside that my dog got worms from. I decided to wait it out and see if maybe it took a few months for their products to work, but nothing. My pest problem was never gone.
After this last quarterly visit, I have had more ants and spiders than ever, so I called them to discontinue my service and they said my balance of 143 would be waived since they had never taken care of my issues. She said that I would be contacted with information concerning my account closure. I went online today to check my account information and it says I still have to pay the 143. I refuse to pay money for a service that didn't work for me, and I just got off the phone with the customer service representative and she said she would escalate my issues to a manager and see if they can get my payment waived. This should have been taken care of when I called on the 14th.

I have been a customer of Terminix for many years. Recently, they fumigated my house and all went very well. However, after all was done, I noticed that the block wall surrounding my property had received some minor damage, obviously from someone standing on it during installation or removal of tenting. I contacted customer service on three separate occasions and was told each time that someone would be in contact with me to resolve the situation. I was never contacted. Eventually, I gave up, paid a handyman $300 to fix the wall and moved on with life. As a result, I am seriously considering canceling my monthly Terminix service.

I recently bought a historic home and decided to get the year round pest treatment with Terminix. I had my initial appointment which was timely and the technician was friendly. When I asked him how the house looked he reported that it was fine - he didn't see any traces of anything. He treated the outside and inside as agreed in the plan. Four days later I get a mouse behind my entertainment system. So happy I have my new pest plan I contact Terminix. I downloaded their app to request service and it didn't work (as a millennial this was really annoying). I scheduled for someone to come out on the 20th. At the scheduled time I'm called and told that they need to reschedule. We reschedule for the 23rd. On this day I get a call asking if I can be there a little earlier because this technician has a meeting to attend at 7. Um I guess I will leave MY job to convenience your job. Ok no biggie, I want to get rid of this mouse.
When I arrive at the home the technician is there and comes in. He tries to sell me another plan to seal the outside of the house to prevent future mice from entering. I'm spending 700 on their yearly service so I'm not interested in spending more money. He tells me, "Well if you don't get this plan we will have to keep coming to your house to take care of the mice." So I'm thinking hey that's on you guys, I already pay this much amount of money a year for your service. If you guys don't want to keep coming out to my house to take care of the mice, maybe you should implement the sealing of the house at no cost because it's going to cost you guys more money in the long run. Business 101. He said he understands I don't want the added on service and then he walks outside. I'm thinking he is going to get a mouse trap or something so I leave the door cracked for him.
I'm waiting and waiting and go outside to check on him. The guy left lol! No call, no goodbye, no follow up, and I still have a mouse. It was one of the most peculiar customer service experiences. I call Terminix customer service today expecting to be credited and have my problem solve. I explain the situation to the agent and she transfers me to a "liaison". That liaison ended up being me waiting on hold for about 15 min before I just hung up. It's makes for a pretty funny story but unfortunately I'm annoyed now because not only am I missing work to convenience these people, but I still have a mouse!

Since July 2015 my husband and I have called the Terminix customer service center on our bill. We tried to pay the fee for a service in full before 18.99% interest kicked in (1300.00). They WILL NOT return our calls. We got shoddy service. They couldn't cover the vent that was a rodent threat and did not give us the $180 credit. We have been told they would send us a bill with the credit - so many times we've lost count. Apparently the Crocodile Hunter of Bugs has taken over the company and is straightening up the mess he inherited (seems to be the company line). No credit of $180 for a job they did not do. No returned calls. Phone calls when we were guaranteed a credit so that we could pay the balance without interest. Called local. Called our guy (we've been customers for over 3 years) - no response. Our only choice is to go to Better Business Bureau and make sure that all our referred friends change to Orkin.

After almost 4 years of using the maintenance service, we actually had an issue with yellow jackets coming in the house. The answer was just to spray outside and hope for the best. This went on for almost 2 months with no progress. Both my husband and my dog got stung inside the house. I called to let them know that the situation wasn't getting better, and they wanted to charge me more to find the entry point and seal it up. This was not acceptable to me so I cancelled my contract. I had prepaid for the year and was given a 5% discount, which they took away in total when they refunded the last quarter. Meanwhile, we have received numerous calls trying to get us to sign up for termite service, when they can't fix the problems that they should. To say that I will never use Terminix again nor recommend them to anyone is an understatement. What a waste of time and aggravation.

We have been a Terminix customer for close to 20 years and have never experienced such TOTAL failure from a company on handling and responding to an issue. The issue started when a person from Terminix showed up for what was our regular outside service with two trainee with him. The main person told my wife that he had to do an inside inspection. My wife said NO, but he kept on insisting. She finally realize this man was not taking NO for an answer and reluctantly let him in. Now note it has been a standing item that inside inspection’s only done when we request them and that I am present when done. With that said the one training the others sent one around the outside of the house to supposedly do the scheduled outside service (have no means of verifying it). Meanwhile the main person and a trainee look around and went into our basement.
Sometime later he came up and told my wife we have a large mouse issue, showing her pictures off his phone of what was an indication of the issue. He then quoted her that it would be $900-$1000 job to get rid of the mouse issue. He never indicated what the process was that was to be performed but said they would have to do the attic, roof, etc. The Terminix man wanted my wife to just go ahead and authorize the work, along with some other work one of the trainees suggested we also get done. He was informed that she would need to discuss this with me and got a phone number so I could contact him to discuss it with him at another time. I contacted the main person the next day, where he wanted me to okay the work. I requested that he email me these pictures first so I could review them and then after review we could then discuss what this large sum of money would entail.
Their agent was not happy that I appeared to be questioning him, but said he would email me the photos. A day or two passed with nothing being sent. Called the phone number again, left voice mail. Again after a day or two did not get a reply back or the photos sent. Next called the local branch number (now it was Monday almost a week later). Nobody answered and was sent to their main customer support center. After waiting for 15-20 minutes before one of their customer service person answered the call. After explaining this issue to them I was forward over to a specialist to help resolve the issue. Again this was another 5-10 minute wait. Again had to explain all over again the issue. The specialist indicated back to me that the issue would be queued for a management person or persons to pick up the issue and give me a call back to discuss it with them.
Again after several days no call from anyone in Terminix. Called the customer service center again, after not getting the local branch again. Explained the issue all over again to customer service, who then informed me that a manager had picked up issue on MONDAY and was to have called me. No call of any kind was done. Customer service then attempted to contact the local branch, and told me that could not get anyone but left a voice mail. Customer service then told me if I did not get a call from the branch in a day or so to call back and asked to be sent to a regional specialist to escalated the issue. Again no call back. Contacted customer service again. Had to explain the whole issue all over again. When I requested to talk to a regional specialist had to insist on it before they said they would again transfer to a regional specialist.
Once I got to the regional specialist had again to explain the issue. The regional specialist indicated that there was a protocol to follow from his end and I should hear back from him in a few days, since it was the Labor Day weekend coming up. Again no response back from anyone after a week. Called customer service again, had to explain the issue all over again. Why don't they track the issue so the customer does not have to explain it over and over? I guess this keeps everybody off the hook. Anyway after trying to get them to put me in contact with this regional specialist they said they could not at that time, but somehow managed to get the local branch manager. After explaining the issue all over again the branch manager said he would contact the Terminix person and get the photos sent to me.
The branch manager then verified my email address and phone numbers at home and work, and stated I should have these photos with a day or so. Again no response back or photos sent. At this point I am totally disgusted with the entire management chain lack of response and follow up. At this point for all appearance it looks like the Terminix person who was training the others was attempting to drum up costly business at the expense of my wife, since there has been no proof to the issue. I have never seen a company ignore their customers this bad with total lack of response or follow through. I am now seriously considering a third party check after almost a month of trying to get Terminix to respond.

The last annual inspection was mainly an outside walk around and was not as thorough as past ones were. Attic and crawl spaces were not checked, leaving it up to me to notify Terminix if I spotted any termite activity in those areas if I accessed them. Also wondering if the annual criteria may have changed to an outside one year then a complete house inspection the next etc. since report findings are kept on file for active plans.

Updated on 09/26/2015: So after discussing no shows with the regional manager who set up and promised the 4th (I told her she could not make it happen... Don't you love being right!!!) The branch manager called. Mr corporate America. Must be a script. Would not validate that his organization out of control just wanted to schedule. No management ability even at the branch level. Ok so it's this Saturday. Number 5. The tech calls and asks where the property is located and then tells me his whole miserable about he can't find my house. So I ask him if he is using GPS. He says yes. I give him the GPS address. He say his GPS can't find it. I ask him if it's an older model. He says it's a brand new Garmin nuvi. Obviously he can't use it. So I give him directions. I hope isn't a vet because then I would know why we have not won a war in 70 years. More to come. If he can't find the house how good of a pest control tech could he be? Memphis... We purchased the "Residential Exclusion" service for $1400. The service as explained by the salesperson was to seal up any holes in the exterior, garage, and crawlspace of the house so no rats could enter. On the day of service, to my wife's surprise, one man showed up, went around the house quickly and in less than an hour said he was done. When asked why this cost $1400, he said he had nothing to do with the "money" and just did the work. When asked what work was performed he said he patched a hole in a crawl-space screen and put mushroom caps on the roof vents. He never went inside the garage, the crawlspace, or the attic as we expected by the conversation with the salesperson and as detailed in the contract as common rodent "Access Points".
We disputed the work with them through customer service, and were told the Terminix branch manager would get back to me within 24-48 hours, however this did not happen. We then disputed through the credit card company and after Terminix ignored this call, we were able to recoup our expenses through the credit card dispute. Months later the original sales representative called and only said there was a balance on our account due. I explained the dispute in detail. He was very surprised at the level of service given. He explained that they usually send out a crew of 3 people for half a day and that it was 100% satisfaction guaranteed. The call ended with him saying he did not know how this happened to us and would talk to his boss.
I expected the next phone call to lead to an amicable resolution. Instead I received a difficult and somewhat threatening call from the Terminix branch manager (EJ **), who said this would be going into collections if I did not pay today. He would not even let me get my words out trying to explain my complaint, repeatedly cutting me off to say that we owed money and it wasn't up to me how much to pay. Since then I've attempted multiple times to have anyone from this office contact me. I've followed up through customer service at the Terminix national level and a very understanding customer service representative even tried to call them but said no one picked up the phone. I was told a message was left with both managers to call me which they never did. They are sending it to collections and have had no contact with Terminix since. This entire ordeal has been documented now on the Better Business Bureau website.
Recently I asked Terminix to come out again and give me a rodent inspection. They thoroughly went around the house and in the attic and found there were many openings for rats to come in. They gave me another quote of $1540. They confirmed that a crew of 2 would come out for the entire day, and spend a lot of time in my attic to seal up holes commonly found between the tiles on the roof and the attic space. They also said they would perform an "auto-ban" which was a spray to deter rodents from returning. This validated my belief that the work was not done as required. I would like a full refund of $1400 for non-performance and non-satisfaction. (**Note my account shows I owe $1000. This is because I only disputed this much through my credit card company, but I would like 100% of my costs returned which would be $1400). Please feel free to call me.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you had with Terminix. We’ll schedule someone from our customer service team to contact you to form a solution.

Other Terminix services introduced by specific salesmen have turned out to be less delightful experiences. In 2012 I was led to believe that my house was in serious peril due to "possible" infestation of rodents, and that I needed their expensive products and services. It sounded serious, and I arranged two follow-up independent inspections by other pest control companies that proved negative.
Early this year I purchased the Terminix Gutter Guard about which I have no complaints, but after the installation I found that the cover of my pool skimmer had been broken and the pieces laid in a pile next to the skimmer. I suspected that the leg of a ladder carelessly placed on the cover was to blame. Neither installer mentioned this before leaving. Twice I called Terminix to report it, and although the supervisor was surprised to hear about the damage and was truly sorry, Terminix did not follow up. Terminix Pest Control maintains an A+. I have been a Terminix (residential) customer for a few years and have not been happy with Terminix's method of scheduling annual inspections. Firstly, payment for inspection of over $200 (increases every year) needs to be paid upfront. Terminix emails a scheduled appt. a couple of weeks in advance. Frankly, I miss this email sometimes. One year the inspector came out anyway and inspected only the outside of the house. I didn't realize I had an appointment. Most years, the inspection is just cursory and not very thorough. Something I can do easily myself (but don't because I want to keep my guarantee).
This year was most frustrating. Missed the email again so I responded to the email and called Terminix to reschedule. A date and time was selected. The night before the inspector called to tell me that he would not be in my area on the day the Terminix people gave me. We scheduled another day. He came out to inspect and did a cursory inspection of the finished basement, asked me to sign that the house was inspected, walked out the front door (my home has a front porch and a screened porch on the rear and a garden shed out back), did not look under the front porch, walked around the perimeter of my backyard; never coming up to my foundation. Walked out to the shed and walked around it then got in his truck and left.
I called Terminix and asked for a reinspection. I was given a date and time and received a recorded phone call stating confirmation of time. That was a no show and no call. Called Terminix and told them that no one came and I was informed that my inspection was rescheduled for another day. I had received no email or call on that date. I told them I couldn't make that appointment so they scheduled me for the following morning and that I would receive a call. Another no show and no call. Called Terminix again and apparently that scheduler was just appeasing me as they had no record of my call or the agreed appointment.
In summary, I had a bad inspection and 2 no shows. I have spent 2 hours on the phone this morning to let somebody in authority at Terminix know what terrible service I am receiving. After 2 hours, I finally talked to an account rep who actually helped me. I just had the local Terminix office call me and schedule an appointment and also is confirming that the original inspector will not be the same person doing the inspection again. We will see what transpires now. This is too much time and money spent. I wish I had gone with a locally owned pest control company. Terminix is too big and needs to re-evaluate their process. They should put the scheduling in the hands of their local offices. I would not recommend Terminix.

Whatever they use for pest control is not effective. We used to have Orkin and never saw an ant after they sprayed. The guarantee is also a joke. Due to other obligations, I need to cancel services before I'm automatically renewed or locked in somehow for another year. I wish there was a clear cut explanation of what's needed to stop services. I was told I needed to cancel 30 days in advance, so sent a letter to Corporate on 8/21/15 and reached out to customer service to no avail. First, I was afraid of being automatically charged but my credit card on file just expired. After reading reviews, I'm now afraid of being charged and sent to collections. I regret signing on the line and will select a local company if I ever decide that we want pest control again.

Received several voice mail messages requesting that I schedule the annual inspection for termites. Upon receiving another reminder, via postcard, I called Terminix to schedule the inspection, only to be advised that the inspection had been completed the prior month. I advised the Terminix representative that the inspection had been completed, or even scheduled, as evidenced by the repeated voice mail messages and post card from Terminix. I was advised that I would be placed on hold, while the Terminix rep attempted to schedule an appointment. I was disconnected. No return call.
I have subsequently made several attempts to schedule the inspection. Numerous disconnects and no return calls. Finally, I was contacted and advised that an inspection was scheduled and provided with a date and time. No one showed. I called and spoke with another Terminix representative and requested that my annual service contract be cancelled and a refund issued. Call disconnected.
We’re sorry to hear about your recent Terminix experience. We sincerely apologize and would like to make it up to you. Our team will contact you privately to begin resolving your issue.

I have been a Terminix pest control service customer for more than a year. I signed up with them primarily for controlling ants. I called them a week ago asking for an extra service because of an ant infestation. Even after many attempts nobody at the central office could contact or locate anybody at the local office. Hence no service could be scheduled. They supposedly left emails/messages for the local office but nobody ever called me to set up anything. In any case my regular service was scheduled for 9/17 morning and nobody showed up. Once again hours on the phone with the central office and they tried to contact someone at the local office and they couldn't. More messages left.
In the end as a customer I have been left with a home that's infested with ants everywhere - kitchen, bathrooms, counters, etc. A home that Terminix promised to keep pest free. It was so bad that I had to stay in a hotel for 3 nights. Of course they would not pay for loss of use of the home. Of course I can take my service elsewhere and I will. But a company like this should not be in business if they don't care about their customers.

We've used Terminix for several years. They are always on time, are courteous, get the job done, answer any questions we have, explain what they did and leave.
Great feedback, Gerald! We genuinely appreciate it and we’re glad to hear that you’re happy with your service!

Paid for a two (2) year Terminix Exclusion Annual Plan in June 2015. The plan included getting rid of rodents in the attic and exclusion from future reinfestations. As of September, the infestation problem has not been resolved. I have to call repeatedly to have someone come out because the problem persists. This company doesn't care about solving the problem as long as they get the initial sell. I rate them a ZERO for "Service After The Sell".
We sincerely apologize about your experience with your service! We appreciate your feedback and would like to make things right. Someone from our local office will be contacting you within 48 hours to help assist with your resolution.

OMFG! I was on hold for 10 minutes before anyone answered the phone - which they didn't - so I hung up! BTW - They do not have wait music. Instead, they have an overly enthusiastic ** who didn't stop talking for a single second. They automated "hold" person was recorded to have zero (0) seconds of 'her' not talking. I'm so agitated having been on hold for so long! HOW RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company! God forbid you have to call them and be put on hold for over 10 minutes before any human answers. No THANKS. Highly unprofessional. Highly annoying. And if anything, I'm now agitated having waited for so long. No!!!

The all around service is horrible. They are super EXPENSIVE and have the worst customer service. I initially called because I needed service for ant control. I was told by three different people that they have to spray when they come out. Well... The guy comes out and squeezes these little gel things in a few areas of the counters and rooms (in less than 10 minutes) and informs us that they don't spray. Three weeks later we were full of ants and I placed another call in which once again by two people I was told they do spray. They sent out the same guy and in less than 5 minutes he was out, never sprayed and again used that gel.
Three weeks later my counter tops are full of ants and I called back. The first lady didn't even bother talking to me. She automatically transferred me to another agent. I explained my situation and they acted as if they didn't care. I was told I Would get a call back within 2 hours and I waited 8 hours before I had to call them back. I spoke to another lady with a horrible attitude and again she was rude and condescending acting as if I was requesting a free service when clearly I paid a huge chunk for NO SERVICE. She then told me she was going to contact the branch manager and someone would come to my house that day and the branch manager would call me.
Second Day I call back again because no one made contact and I call back and again I was told they were going to see if maybe someone could come out and the manager would call me. It is now DAY THREE and I have yet to hear from either Terminix or the Temecula Satellite Branch. This isn't the first time they pull something shady. Last time it was with the billing and you can imagine how that went. I will never use this company again and I urge anyone who is considering them to first contact your local pest control guy who I am sure will give you better service since they are a smaller company. No one should have to pay over $110 dollars for some gel or powder that you can purchase at Home Depot for under $10 bucks!
DONE with this SHADY COMPANY!!! In addition, I informed them that I was going to place a complain and review with YELP, CONSUMER AFFAIRS and the BBB and they acted as if they didn't care. Not once did they apologize or show that that they cared. Such a bad horrible experience with this company over all. No one should pay this much money for such bad bad service. I'm disgusted that they could treat their customers the way they do. They lack total customer service skills and should retrain their employees!!! AS for the order number requested below... Well, they don't ever bother giving you an order number or confirmation for that matter!

One problem we have with your service is that you keep changing your routes so we do not always have the same guy. We used to have Nick for a long time then you switched us to Dominic and that was fine but then you kept changing to others. I do not want to have to be home when they come if not convenient for me but if I am not and a new guy comes he doesn't do a thorough job. Please leave Dominic or give us back Nick.

I bought a new home and had quite a bit of work done by Terminix from installation install, new vents, treatments and a sump pump for under home. It seemed like everything was fine, then a few months later, I was in the home office and I stepped back and fell through the floor. I immediately called a contractor who came over. We investigated and noticed the sump pump was recycling water against the floor joist and sub floor. I contacted Terminix and they sent a guy out that afternoon too. He investigated and say, "Yeah, the pump wasn't glued and the pop off valve wasn't working." He went back to his truck and grabbed a tube of sealant, crawled back under the house and sealed it.
I was told I would retrieve a 5-yr contract for mold and termite treatment for the damages to my home. The local company in Benton is now offering me a two-year termite only for inspection. I think this is unfair considering the bruise on my leg I had and for the disruption of my home and having to replace my sub flooring. This was all documented with photos. I have contacted the corporate office today. We will see if I get a answer. I have many more photos.

So we asked for extension of our policy to cover the termites present in our house. Our house is in CA. After numerous call to Pleasanton, CA office we were told Terminix do not serve tenant occupied houses. The house is Tenant occupied since last 6 years. I reached out to Terminix Headquarter and have so far talked to three different people in Liaison office. Each assured me of a call from local timing office. No one called so far. It's over one and half month.

I hired Terminix because I was seeing water bugs in my home. I live in Georgia so this is not uncommon but I had seen a couple and once I read up on them I found out how disgusting they really are and wanted my house treated. The serviceman came out (I can't remember his name). He looked around and told me that my house was really clean and he saw no evidence of an infestation of any kind but he went ahead and treated anyway. He said that he would sign me up for their ongoing service and they would come to treat every few months etc... I told him that if he saw no evidence of pests that I wasn't interested in an ongoing service. He explained that if I didn't sign up for the service that he had to charge me more than the $170 he was already charging me. He also explained that I could cancel at any time and that if I saw any other problems they would come out immediately to treat. I agreed and just figured I was better safe than sorry.
Fast forward about four weeks I started seeing these water bugs on a regular basis. I call Terminix the first week of September to tell them that I am having an ongoing problem. The customer service rep tells me that they can get somebody out to me on the 24th. That's 3 weeks away!!! I told him that I need someone out here this week. I can't wait 3 weeks to have this issue resolved. He told me that he would contact my area’s supervisor and try to get me an earlier appointment... That someone would contact me within 24 hours. I never heard from them again.
Three days later, my son got up on the morning and found a HUGE water bug (cockroach) in my silverware drawer. I called Orkin. They sent someone the same day to treat my house. I called Terminix to cancel my service and to get a refund of the $170 I paid. They cancelled my service but would not refund the money because they said I didn't give them the chance to resolve the problem. When I explained that I called to schedule an appointment but didn't get a return call, she just repeated that I never gave them a chance to resolve the issue. I don't even believe the original serviceman treated my house at all. I told her that I would just resolve the issue with my bank. I'm in the process of doing that now.

I contacted Terminix on the morning of Sept. 15 to set up an appointment to treat my home. I spoke with a gentleman named Alvin. I explained my situation to him. I am in need of IMMEDIATE attention because my daughter is severely allergic to the fleas in our home and had to miss school today due to the bites. He assured me my problem would be taken care of quickly and efficiently. He gave me an estimate & talked me into doing a 1-year service agreement that would guarantee their work for 3 months after the initial treatment and a discounted price every 2 months after that. I gave him my payment information and I was told a local branch would send someone out between 8 am & 12 am tomorrow 9/16. He went over everything I needed to do in preparation, the service agreement details and account number, & the confirmation email details I would receive after the phone call.
By 3 pm I still had not received an email from Terminix confirming my appointment, so I called back. The lady I spoke to said her records showed I called, but no appointment had been set up due to local branch not being avaliable. We aren't off to a very good start. She noted in her file that I needed help ASAP & was told a time and date of service, but no time was actually set up. She emailed the branch manager in Abilene, Texas and apologized for the misunderstanding. By this time it's 4 pm. I simply needed to know if I had an appointment or not!? So I decide to call the local branch myself. Phone number is no longer in service. I get a hold of Ash who states the salesman Alvin basically made up the appointment time because no one in Abilene is available for tomorrow. He puts me on hold while trying to call the branch manager in my area and sending another email letting him know the situation.
At this point I've wasted a whole day dealing with Terminix and still have no idea if I have an appointment or not. I'm in need of service and can't get it. I'm unsure as to why I should do business with a company who can't simply even make appointments correctly and have no way of communicating unless you call the 1-800 number and be put on hold for 20 minutes after being transferred to 3 different departments who still haven't corrected the problem. I just need someone to come help me ASAP. That's it. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you enjoy being manipulated and lied to.
Sammi, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you had withTerminix Pest service . Our records indicate that your home is scheduled for service on 09/16/2015 between 4pm - 6pm .

I constantly have to call to make things happen. I've written two letters to corporate and no response. One on 9-5-2015 and one in 9-12-2015. Suppose to scan traps each week for first three and then each month after... Not happening. Said would spray under crawl space... Tech said they don't do that. Finally after lots of complaining did. Much more problems, but too mad to keep typing.
